Guns n Roses supremacy

Your honor, I've learned I have a favorite ship type- you'll have to figure it out yourself lol. I want to get this gay cyborg ranger along side his chivalrous boyfriend so badly. I love these two so much that I thought it would be cool if I designed some fun concepts for these two. Like the concept of Boothill deciding to take the path of Beauty alongside Argenti and became a Gunslinger of Beauty. And another where Argenti joined Boothill and became a Knight Ranger. Argenti was hard to design tho, my boy is so chivalrous that he just looks like a prince now lol.

Cyberpunk! Bdubs and Impulse

So I had to look up lots of references to come up with these designs since I’m not at all use to drawing cyberpunk outfits. It’s actually a pretty cool type of fashion (with variations such as streetwear, video games, and runway)! There’s usually lots of loose layers (sometimes contrasted with tight layers), ponchos/rain gear, hoodies/coats, and geometric cuts of clothes +straps, pockets, gloves, and other accessories to cover the identity of the person. Of course there’s bits of technology/gadgets and neon pieces that are included and holographic things too. I definitely want to explore this aesthetic more in my art :3

As for Bdubs, he’s helping Impulse with the cyberpunk city but doesn’t have a skin for reference, so I tried to incorporate the white shirt, black pants, and mossy cape into his look + the digital clock on the sleeve and red elements as a nod to the red headband from other past skins

Impulse has a skin to work with, but I originally made a design without looking at references and wanted to redo it (also I realized I forgot his horns in the new design, so those are added below)

look at the difference! The first attempt felt less cohesive and clunky, but I did like the hologram tail tip and wings idea, so I’m using those for the future. I really like how his design turned out on the right, so that’s what I’ll be going with from now on (with minor adjustments maybe)

the horns are kind of like these ones

except I swear I’ve seen versions where they look for pointed like horns but for the life of me I couldn’t find a reference :/ (finding this is reminding me I need to watch neon genesis evangelion)

Also it seems like I will finally have to learn how to draw shoes :P they either are the star of the show or need to blend in with the outfit, and I’m not happy with my generic attempts at drawing them..

So ig next few posts on this page will be dedicated to them, because why not, they're fun to draw and I want to practice drawing things related to them, since they will appear in my webtoon soon.

[Light babies travel A LOT and there are no mount better for that than giant hermit crabs, whom they call raky-gulaky. They are very strong, agile, easy to adapt and to care for. Yeah, they probably aren't that fast, but lighties don't need to rush anywhere either. The most difficult part about owning hermit crabs is to find a new shells for them once in 5 years, but children of Light know the right places.]

Everybody was kung fu fighting!🎇🎆

New oc! Woo! Finally made a kung fu panda oc after all these years. I love these movies and I really hope the fourth one is as enjoyable as the first three. I have yet to see it so no spoilers!

Anyways, this is Nuǎn! She is a Tibetan wolf who was kicked out of her pack at a young age. Along her travels she finds a little sable named Weijin who is the lone survivor of his village. He belongs to one of my best friends @collapsingintojupiter and they both end becoming adopted siblings. Nuan loves her little brother dearly and the two end up in the valley of peace and train under Shifu along with the furious five. Their dynamic is just so cute and I’m sure I’ll circle back to draw more of them after watching the fourth movie!

#raveartts #httyd #how to train your dragon #light fury #dragon art #anyways so i was trying to study what method was used to draw the httyd concept art #and eventually i think i figured it out #it's (colored) pencils with alcohol markers #i was unsure if it was digital or watercolor at first tbh #also they definitely use toned paper which i simply do not have #so I gave it a shot by mashing up some of the light fury concepts for fun #i didn't fully finish coloring it bc i got tired #but i think i captured The Look at least a little bit #style replication isn't really my thing ofc but for a first attempt. you can see it resembles the concepts #.....also honestly. this is unrelated #but i've never fully watched httyd 3. i tried numerous times but i could never get my full attention on it #i'm sorry it's just. so bad omg #i think the light fury's design isn't as awful as people make it out to be #but she just doesn't look like she belongs in the universe either #SHE'S TOO FUCKING SMOOTH MAKE HER ROUGH #though the way she's animated is very nice to look at ofc
