#you look a lot like the actor playing loki
THE BEST OF DANIEL BRÜHL
Tumblr media
It’s dumb, honestly.
You get this seemingly brilliant idea of turning to foreign films so you’re forced to read subtitles and focus—a problem you’ve been noticing of late—but in doing so, you end up with a more destructive distraction.
“Who’s that guy, again? The one in all those international productions?” That’s how I found myself on my Daniel Brühl marathon-turned-obsession.
It was his role as the cute Nazi in Inglorious Basterds that first put him on my radar. Over the years, I would see him in The Fifth Estate, Burnt, Woman in Gold, The Zookeeper’s Wife, and The King’s Man. Midway through All Quiet on the Western Front, I was like, “All this needs is that German actor…” and I had to chuckle when he later appeared on screen. I also checked out the first season of The Alienist because I was intrigued by what he and Dakota Fanning as leads would do with such a spooky-looking show.
Adorable as he was in his breakout role in Good Bye, Lenin!, it was his performance in the critically-acclaimed Rush that caused me to spiral. Similar to when Benedict Cumberbatch took on the modern version of Sherlock, it was like seeing Brühl with new eyes. His playful take on Helmut Zemo in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was the final nail in the coffin. I don’t imagine it’s all too different from what Tom Hiddleston did to fans of Marvel as Loki.
I’m actually at the tail-end of this obsession now that I’ve seen everything I can get a hold of—around 39 films, two TV shows, a documentary, a music video, countless interviews, a bunch of ads, and a handful of fan cuts—but he has a lot of works worth recommending so I thought I would share them on here. This will mostly be a subjective list with priority on projects I found most interesting which showcase his range best. Like, I enjoyed The Bourne Ultimatum but he was on screen for a total of 2 minutes so I wouldn’t include that here.
Tumblr media
RUSH (2013) This biographical sports film written by Peter Morgan—the man behind The Crown—centers on the rivalry between Formula One drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda in the 70s. Not a fan of F1 or sports in general. I have nothing against either, just zero interest. But this character-driven film, much like Ford vs Ferrari, had me at the edge of my seat the entire ride. And it surprisingly has one of the best meet-cutes—and accidental wingmen—I’ve seen yet.
Brühl delivers an Oscar-worthy performance in this role. For someone who needed a lot of convincing he could do the character justice, he truly went above and beyond. For one, he befriended and studied Lauda, the iconic F1 figure he was portraying. No easy feat considering Lauda being, well… Lauda. In interviews, Brühl recounts the story of the memorable invite he got from Lauda to meet in Vienna. This would be their first meeting and Lauda told Brühl outright that he should only bring hand luggage so he can piss off if they don’t like each other.
He would end up staying a few days and buying additional clothes.
He also spent a month in Vienna to nail the accent, making sure to capture the arrogance and irony innate to it. And although he got driver training for the role, he also considered the tiniest details like which went on first: helmet or gloves? There was also the tricky business of looking graceful entering a tiny F1 car—a bigger challenge for Chris Hemsworth who plays Hunt—but an obstacle all the same.
All the hard work paid off. It was well-received by audiences, critics, and the F1 world. The first time Lauda saw the film he went, “Holy shit, that’s really me”. Lauda’s friends thought he did voiceover work for it. Director Ron Howard was so pleased with Brühl’s performance that he went out of his way to show an unfinished cut of the movie to the producers of The Fifth Estate (2013). This gracious act would land Brühl the co-lead role opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.
Tumblr media
GOOD BYE, LENIN! (2003) Can't tell if it's just because the two films have the same composer and were created around the same time, but this tragicomedy set in East Germany reminded me so much of my beloved Amélie. This is definitely more dramatic and political but it has that same mix of whimsy, heart, and charm. With its budget, it was meant to be an indie film, but the story of a son who would recreate a faux-socialist world to keep his mother alive captured the heartstrings of audiences, not just in Germany but also worldwide. Brühl plays the son and his success with this film was a double-edged sword: although it would open doors for him internationally, he would also be typecast as the “nice guy” in his home country.
Tumblr media
INGLORIOUS BASTERDS (2009) This has one of the best, most intense opening sequences in all of cinema… and one of the greatest villains. In this wild alternate universe from Quentin Tarantino, he rewrites the ending of World War II. It’s the right balance of dark, hilarious, and entertaining—my favorite from the auteur’s works. Here Brühl plays a cute and charming Nazi, which is very confusing to the senses.
Aside from Brühl, it was also my first introduction to Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender, and Melanie Laurent—all fantastic European actors who’ve crossed over to Hollywood after the success of this movie. “Crossing over” seems ubiquitous now but, at that time, giving most of the lead roles to then relatively unknown actors must have been a risk. But for this, it was necessary. Language plays a huge part in this trilingual film and casting native speakers grounded it in authenticity. Tarantino originally had Leonardo di Caprio in mind to play Hans Landa. Whether he meant for him to learn German or to speak English with a German accent, who knows. Either way, it’s safe to say that would have been a different film.
Tumblr media
THE EDUKATORS / DIE FETTEN JAHRE SIND VORBEI (2004) This anti-capitalist film, which has become a cult classic, captures the spirit, idealism, recklessness, and angst of young revolutionaries who just want a better world. Where one stands on the measures taken, or even their sentiment, can be considered a litmus test. With or without reference to this quote from the movie—“Under 30 and not liberal, no heart. Over 30 and still liberal, no brain.”—is up to the viewer.
There needs to be a suspension of disbelief for the series of events that takes place but the setting is necessary for the clash of worlds to happen. It’s not a perfect movie but the issues they debate about in length… they’re still discussions we’re having nearly 20 years later.
p.s. this has my favorite behind-the-scenes of all of Brühl’s projects. Though he hasn’t lost his sense of humor, he seems to have become more reserved as he got older. HERE, at this period in his life, he’s a total goofball bordering on loose cannon.
Tumblr media
THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER (2021) Though I’ve enjoyed quite a few MCU movies, I’m not invested in the universe at all, so watching this wasn’t a priority. In fact, I was ready to settle on YouTube compilations made by devoted fans of all the scenes Brühl was in. Upon seeing clips, however, I got intrigued by his character so I still ended up watching the miniseries and also Captain America: Civil War (2016).
Both were better than I expected. Civil War is more serious, while TFATWS is more playful, but both face relevant issues along with formidable foes. Brühl’s villain in Helmut Zemo is fascinating because he tears the mighty Avengers apart with mere patience, fury, and intelligence… and his motivations are understandable. He lets his character loose in TFATWS—at one point, on the dance floor—and it’s magnificent. His mission is still the same, but this time he does it with a lot of charm, humor, and fabulous Sokovian style. A Turkish delight, personified.
Tumblr media
ME AND KAMINSKI / ICH UND KAMINSKI (2015) Brühl’s Sebastian Zöllner is a repulsive and sleazy journalist who has greasy hair and wears too much cologne but I can’t get enough of his chaotic energy. His magnum opus is hitched on a legendary artist dying and his fantasy is to turn the orphaned daughter into a sugar mommy. It’s all kinds of messed up but he plays the hell out of the smarmy dirtbag so it’s a lot of fun. This is Brühl’s second collaboration with Wolfgang Becker, who directed Good Bye, Lenin! Daniel Kehlmann, the writer whose eponymous book this film was based on, would later write Brühl’s directorial debut, Nebenan.
Tumblr media
NO REGRETS / NICHTS BEUREUEN (2001) This is reminiscent of the slightly problematic but highly enjoyable teen comedies and coming-of-age films of the 90s. It’s like an edgier Can’t Hardly Wait: boy goes through cringe-worthy measures to get the girl he’s long been pining for, his two closest pals have nothing but dumb advice to offer, yet he still ends up on the path to self-discovery. It’s awkward, chaotic, frustrating, and beautiful—but such is adolescence.
Brühl and his co-star Jessica Schwarz fall in love on the set of this film. And although they would break up years later, the tenderness between their scenes together is palpable and there’s something rather bittersweet about seeing that captured in perpetuity.
Tumblr media
For a more straightforward rom-com, he has Lila, Lila (2009). It’s about a guy who passes off a manuscript as his own to impress a girl and the hilarity that follows. It’s on YouTube for those who need a fun and light watch.
Tumblr media
THE ALIENIST (2018 – 2020) Based on the novel of the same name, this moody psychological thriller set in late 19th century New York follows a psychiatrist—then called an Alienist—who investigates a series of grisly murders with methods still considered new and controversial at that time, such as psychology and fingerprinting. He gets by with a little help from his friends, John Moore, an illustrator for the New York Times, and Sara Howard, a society woman who works in the NYPD.
In the lead role of Dr. Laszlo Kreizler, Brühl plays the dark, complex, and mysterious Alienist whose study of mental pathologies and deviant behaviors reveals much of himself and his past.
Tumblr media
LESSONS OF A DREAM / DER GANZ GROßE TRAUM (2011) This film is loosely based on Konrad Koch, an educator and pioneer who brought football to Germany in the late 19th century. In the movie, the sport is used as a means to pique students’ interest in the English language and culture—both considered barbaric by the Germans at that time. A heartwarming tale of a teacher who overcomes insurmountable odds and inspires students along the way, it’s the German equivalent of Dead Poet’s Society.
Tumblr media
ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT (2022) This story, the third adaptation of the 1929 novel, “Im Westen nichts Neues”, conveys the futility of war like no other. There aren't as many films on World War I as there are on World War II, fewer ones that tell it from a German perspective, so this is doubly unique in that regard. Powerful watch but 10/10 not like to relive it again. Apart from producing it with his company, Amusement Park, Brühl plays Matthias Erzberger, the German State Secretary who pushes for armistice talks with the Allied forces.
Tumblr media
An ideal companion watch to this would be Joyeux Noël / Merry Christmas (2005), another WWI movie Brühl stars in, which depicts the unbelievable Christmas truce between French, German, and Scottish soldiers in 1914. His linguistic ability shines here as he shifts between German, French, and English effortlessly. (Half German, half Spanish, Brühl speaks a total of five languages: those three plus Spanish and Catalan.)
Tumblr media
The Zookeeper’s Wife (2017) and Alone in Berlin (2016) also recognize the bravery of defiance at the height of tyrannical regimes. Although between the two, I would skip the latter.
Tumblr media
JOHN RABE (2009) This biographical film set in China tells the incredible true story of a German businessman who uses his Nazi Party membership to create an International Safety Zone in Nanking. This was in the late 1930s, during the Rape of Nanjing. In this six-week carnage by the Imperial Japanese Army—which includes sexual assault, mutilations, and killing contests—upwards of 200,000 Chinese are brutally murdered. The protective zone manages to save around the same number of civilians.
Brühl doesn’t play the titular Rabe, but his character, Dr. Georg Rosen, is one of few Westerners who decides to remain and protect Nanking even as conflict escalates. Dr. Rosen was a German Diplomat instrumental in the creation of the safety zone.
p.s. with all these heroic roles in his catalog, I’m convinced Brühl would be a frontrunner to play President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, should a movie be made about him and Ukraine’s conflict with Russia. You heard it here first.
Tumblr media
NEXT DOOR / NEBENAN (2021) This is Brühl’s directorial debut. Here he plays a darker, fictionalized version of himself. Definitely not for everyone but quite enjoyable if you’re familiar with his major works and public persona, appreciate the ingenuity of one-location movies, and delight in British-style meta humor.
Pre-requisite viewing for maximum enjoyment: Good Bye, Lenin!, Captain America: Civil War, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

"Time & the Trickster" A Loki/Doctor Who crossover
Tumblr media
Chapter 3: The Doctor and I
You and Loki realize the only chance there may be to sent him back to his native timeline is to consult the one person on Earth who may be crazier than he is. But getting there won't be easy when you have no means or funds with which to travel...

Loki was growing impatient again. “Tell me, why aren’t we getting the stone first?”
“I told you, Loki, the guy won’t haggle with us if you look like you fell out of a hamper!”
You’d taken Loki to the local Goodwill, which smelled of mothballs and played the same loop of ten 90’s radio hits over the crackling loudspeaker. After cab fare, you still had about $40 on hand, enough for a cheap pair of jeans, a set of boots, and perhaps two shirts if you budgeted well.
Scooping up a few things without much thought, you shoved them at Loki’s chest and pointed at the changing room, which was little more than a deep alcove in the wall with a swinging wooden door.
“Are you saying we’re going to pay for what is rightfully mine?” Loki asked, offended, going into the booth to try on the clothes you’d picked.
“Welcome to the Realm,” you said bitterly. “Where fairness is made up, and the points don’t matter!”
You heard him snort from behind the cheap wicker door. You couldn’t help but look down at his feet as he slipped them out of Joey’s shoes and into the second hand brown leather boots, ugly but sturdy, and with plenty of wear left. His feet were somehow as beautiful as you’d imagined.
You leaned against the wall next to the changing area with a barely audible sigh. You mumbled under your breath a single word: “pathetic.” Meanwhile, OMC’s ‘How Bizarre’ was playing overhead, and you couldn’t help but smile at the appropriate sentiment.
“It just so happens,” Loki went on, “That I fully intend to get it back without handing over a single credit.”
You were fighting the urge to ‘accidentally’ open the door as soon as you saw the precinct’s old slacks fall to Loki’s ankles.
“How?” you asked. “Loki doesn’t exist here. People will think you’re insane.”
“Well, Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim doesn’t exist on your plane…but the actor who portrays him does, yes?”
“I see, we’re going to commit a little light identity theft today. Now there’s a Loki move,” you admitted. “You’re going to get along with Joey just fine.”
The door opened, and Loki stepped out in a long-sleeved t-shirt in black that may have been a size too small. The jeans you’d picked were dark and stiff at the knee, but the cut still flattered the god’s glorious behind.
It was such a simple ensemble, but you couldn’t peel your eyes away from him.
“Does this look like something this fellow would wear?” he smiled and threw out his arms, modeling the entire look for you with a flashy spin. “How do I look?”
“It’s absolutely not something he’d be caught dead in,” you said woefully. “But it’s the best we’ve got.”
Loki looked down and scoffed. “Perhaps a jacket? Or a robe?”
A robe!
The only jacket in the store that fit Loki was a black leather jacket, so instead of the black undershirt, you got one in dark green to give a little bit of color to the look. Once you were back on the street, you headed southward toward the Valley, where the pawn shop sat kitty-corner to an ice cream stand called Gannon’s. It took about forty minutes at a medium pace to get there, and by the time you did, the afternoon was maturing.
Kit’s Pawn Shop was about the size of a gas station, and a single decaying pickup was sitting in the three-spot parking lot in front.
You turned to one another at the same time, both of you saying “follow my lead” at once.
Loki looked at you oddly. “It was my idea!”
“You don’t even know how electrical outlets work in this world, how are you going to work a scam with a guy like this?” you replied.
“I am the God of Mischief, after all!” Loki said defensively.
“Not in this reality, you aren’t!” you argued.
Loki raised an eyebrow. “You’re a spitfire for sure. Very well, we’ll try it your way.”
“Good. Just act like a snob. Shouldn’t be too difficult for you.”
Even when it was at his expense, Loki was amused by your jab. He straightened his posture and folded his hands in front of him as if he was about to begin a business deal. “Shall we?”
You sucked in a breath and paused for a moment before purposefully shoving the door in with more force than was normal, announcing your presence to the shop with a large “THUMP!” followed by the ringing of the cheap aluminum doorbell. You were instantly accosted by the musty odor of stale cigarette smoke embedded in cheap carpet.
“Be out in a sec!” called  a rough voice from beyond your line of sight.
“No, we need you now!” Loki said loudly, adding a phony posh accent to his demand.
You shot him a dirty look. “Don’t press your luck before we’ve even spun the wheel!” you whispered.
The voice was coming from behind a beaded curtain. “Oh well, tough on you, Harry Potter,” grumbled the raspy voice. “I’m doing business on the damn phone!”
You rolled your eyes. “Guess we browse while we wait?”
The shelves behind the glass counter displayed various random items: television sets with cracked screens, vintage posters and newspapers immortalized in laminating plastic, a few toys that looked old enough to have been decorated in lead paint, and a few luxurious hats set awkwardly on white, expressionless heads. Under the counter glass were strings of pearls and gold, a few gems loosely set into tarnished silver rings, and three small pistols lined up under a sign saying “See Management.”
A necklace caught your eye. The pendant was a silver rectangle, and on it, a very small image of a woman looking upward at a sapphire embedded at the top near a roman numeral ‘XVII’. AT the bottom, two barely-readable words were engraved underneath the pretty girl: The Star.
It reminded you of your mother, who had a deck of old tarot cards she played divination games with herself. She would give you and your brother pretend future readings every New Year, while being mindful of making sure even the scariest-looking cards had a positive twist on their meanings so as not to frighten you. Once, she had said The Star would be a prestigious card in your life: one of enduring hope even in hard times.
You hadn’t detected Loki coming up behind you. “It’s lovely,” he remarked. “You should have it.”
“It’s fifty bucks,” you grumbled, quickly moving away and pretending you weren’t dying inside to have it.
“Now, who’s asking for me?” barked Kit, coming out and going behind the counter without looking at you. He was short and hairy, exactly as you’d pictured him.
“Me….Me!” said Loki, standing up straight again.
“Yeah, what can I do for you, Harry Potter?” snarked the crabby old man.
“That isn’t my name, it’s Lo---Tom. Don't you recognize me?”
Kit snorted. “Sweetheart, I’m so high right now I barely recognize my reflection.”
Loki wrinkled his nose in disapproval. You stepped forward, pulling out your cheap phone and quickly pulling up the first picture of Tom Hiddleston you could find: one where he was performing a deep lunge while wearing a soccer uniform.
“He’s Tom-MOTHERFUCKING-Hiddleston, and you have something of his,” you answered. “I’m his agent…Jane Smith.”
“Agent? Oh yeah,” Kit said, leaning down and squinting to look at the photo before looking up at Loki again. “Well, shit. Guess you are.”
Oh, praise every god and creature that he’s stoned, you thought.
“What? You want something? I can give you a great deal on anything in the store!” Kit’s demeanor almost immediately changed after connecting the dots. “Looking for a gun to fight off the fans? Or are you looking for something shiny to impress some model?”
“Last night, Abe came in here with a green stone,” you said quickly. “It wasn’t his to sell to you, and I would like it back now, if you don't mind.”
Kit looked up at the ceiling, taking a few awkwardly-silent moments to dig through the foggy recesses of his memory. “Oh yeah, the ruby!”
“Oh, it isn’t--”
Kit immediately went behind him, took something out of a small chest on a shield, and plopped a shiny green rock in front of you.
“That’s it!” said Loki, going to pick it up. Kit swiped it back first.
“Two hundred for the ruby,” he said simply.
Protesting, you balled your hands in stress. “TWO HUNDRED?? It’s the size of a popcorn shrimp!”
“Rubies aren’t green, you ass,” Loki hissed, his own attitude darkening.
“Listen lady, I’d like to kiss your actor-friend’s ass, but business has been slow this month, and I got rent, you know? I was going to price this at five hundred, actually.”
“I can give you a thousand,” Loki said as if bidding at an auction.
“Oh?” asked Kit, perking up again.
“I find myself a bit stranded at the moment,” Loki added, “And I’m afraid we have no money on us. But once I get back to my hotel room, I can return with the payment, but I do need that stone now.”
You growled and pounded the counter with your fist, “He’ll plug you at the Emmys next year! Think about it…Kit’s Pawn Shop being announced by name just before Best Actor! Your business will explode so fast, you’ll need another store!”
Kit seemed to consider this. “Well…you do look like him a little too much for doubt,” he reasoned through his fog. “You sure you’ll come back?”
“Yes!” you both said a little too quickly. Luckily, this didn’t arouse any further suspicion in the shop owner. He twisted his lip, looking back and forth from one to the other. “I fucking can’t believe I’m doing this.” He gently nudged the pebble over the counter at Loki.
“And also, that pendant!” Loki added, pointing to the tarot necklace you’d been admiring. “I’d like you to give me that as well.”
You opened your mouth, “Oh that isn’t--”
But Kit was already taking the piece out and setting it onto the counter. “Anything else, Mr. Hiddleston?”
Loki raised his nose. “No, I believe that will be all,” he smirked, looking down and winking at you.
Quickly gathering up the stone and the pendant, Loki led you out of the store before the grumpy shopkeep could change his mind. When you were across the road, and in the parking lot at Gannon’s, you let out a relieved laugh, which helped Loki relax.
“I believe that man would have given me the shirt off his back,” said Loki with a sigh of relief. “That was a good idea, Y/N.”
“Loki! You were such a good actor,” you praised, the adrenaline bringing down your normal filter and freeing you to speak your mind more liberally. “Christ, I can’t believe that worked! You’re amazing!”
“Now, look, Y/N!” he said, holding out his palm, the stone flickering a bright green light as it re-attuned to its handler. You had nothing to say as you watched him fiddle a little with the glowing green pebble. It looked like a perfect representation of the Time Stone, and therefore,  there was no denying it any longer.
Loki lowered his voice to an intimate whisper, leaning into your face so close that you could feel his cool breath on your neck. You hoped that he didn’t notice it was giving you goosebumps.
“Y/N, do you believe who I am now?” he asked, slipping his free hand under yours and letting you hold the stone. It went out as soon as it left Loki’s hand, becoming an ordinary rock once more.
You looked up into his beautiful soft blue eyes, looking at you with pleading prayer. You closed your hand around the stone. “Yes, Loki. I do.”
“Good girl,” he replied, taking the tarot necklace out of his pocket and untangling it, displaying its full beauty. “And, as a thanks for getting me this far…”
“...normally, I’d tell you to take it back, I don’t need it,” you said sternly. “It’s not necessary.”
Loki moved behind you and placed the chain about your neck gently. “I noticed you admiring it. It means something to you, I think.”
“Yes,” you whispered.
“Then, after all you’ve done for me thus far, I insist you have it,” he asserted as he clasped the pendant shut and slowly turned you around by the shoulder to examine it.  “Silver suits you.”
The metal was cool against your skin, and you were silently trying to command yourself to be still and ignore the tenderness of the gesture. It was almost impossible. Your little fangirl heart hummed with joy. “Loki…this is…thank you.” You looked up at him, somehow managing to keep composure. “And I promise I’ll do everything that I can to get you back to where you belong.”
Loki smiled down at you. “I know.”
“...and,” you continued after a dramatic pause, smirking and taking a step back. “I might know a way.”
Tumblr media
With the last ten dollars in your pocket, you bought ice cream cones for the pair of you. It would be a nearly ninety minute walk to your apartment on the other end of town, and the day was waning, but still hot. While you walked at a meager pace in order to conserve your remaining energy, you explained to Loki the extraordinary story of another man who found himself in the same situation.
“So, this Doctor is one of the most famous figures in television,” Loki repeated as you passed downtown and the halfway point of your walk. “And a man appears out of nowhere, resembling him perfectly, claiming to be him…yet he doesn’t present any proof?”
You shook your head. “Which is why everyone thinks he’s a nut. He’s brought people out to see the TARDIS, but he refuses to open the door for anyone but himself. Claims it’s too broken and unstable.”
“How long has he been here?” Loki asked.
“Maybe three months. There was a media storm around it for about five minutes. Then some politico got assassinated and they all moved on.”
“Y/N, at the TVA, I learned a lot about timelines, temporal looms, all of it. I think it means all of reality is in danger if I don't return to my place in time,” he added, his voice tinged with regret. “In this world, nothing is possible except in the minds of people, and yet fictional figures are coming to life. Perhaps its a sign that the timelines are crashing into one another…tangling and tying together…bringing different existences together.”
“I’ll pretend I understood that,” you remarked, turning the corner onto your street.
“There is one way I can think of to save all of us…well, all of you,” he concluded, stopping in his tracks as the disturbing thought invaded his senses. “I have the power to strengthen them again and keep them at bay, at dire cost.”
You turned back to help him. “Not now, ok? Let’s see if this wild idea of mine works.”
“Right…going to see The Doctor,” the God recited. “How soon can we leave?”
You shook your head, your apartment finally visible at the end of the block. “After I get paid next week. If I tell Joey to save his tips, we may be able to book three cheap tickets on a ramshackle airline out there.”
“I don;’t think that will be fast enough!” Loki threw up his arms in distress. “This will only get worse and worse until everything is destroyed!”
“And I thought my therapist was a pessimist,” you quipped. “Look, you can’t just show your face and have everything handed to you around here, Loki.”
“It’s already worked once,” he reasoned, crossing the street with you toward the apartment.
“It won’t always.”
Loki exhaled stressfully. “Perhaps there is something I can do to help speed things up.”
Walking with him up to the back door and taking out your keys, you thought about it for a moment. “Maybe if I take you to the bookstore with me tomorrow, Mrs. Graves will let you do some handiwork for a few extra bucks.”
He smiled. “Good, good, because even if it isn’t showing yet, I am beginning to get this feeling.”
“Feeling? Like what?” you asked as you opened the door and ushered your charge inside.
“As if the air is getting denser, more packed in. Like the potential for chaos is increasing around us with every passing second of inaction,” Loki said quietly but frantically.
“That’s just summer in the city,” you answered. “And you’re an agent of chaos, if I recall, so of course it’s getting a little crazy in here” you added a wink to punctuate it.
“No, no, you don’t--”
“--Joey?”
It was past the usual hour for Joey to leave for work at the bar, yet as you walked in with Loki, he was lounging on your Goodwill couch, watching highlights of a college football game that had taken place last night. When you came in, he sat up to attention.
“Oh, Sis, where’ve you been?” he asked, a yawn rolling out behind his greeting.
“We’ve found something important. And we’ve decided we’re going to fly out to London and see this alleged Doctor,” you declared. “It’s really the only hand we have, isn’t it?”
Joey sighed and shook his head. “We have no money, Y/N.”
“We can fly Craptasmic Airlines if we pull your tips next week with my paycheck,” you described, only to have Joey immediately deny your idea. He slowly stumbled to his feet and approached you in the entryway. Loki scrunched his nose.
Joey smelled of beer. “I got fired today, Sis. I got the call about an hour ago,” he said. “None of us are going anywhere.”

My Heart
Soft!dark Loki x Reader. (Ghostface!Loki)
Loki is your special guide on an acting play in Asgard. How will it turn out? It will certainly be a Scream!
(Scream-inspired, ghostface!Loki, he's a bit obsessive too, who could have guessed?)
Warnings: this fic is exclusively explicit +18, a lot of blood, Dom!Loki, angst (at least reader cries a lot), stalking, Loki is a bit mean at times, blood kink, murder, psychological horror, possessive Loki, obsessive Loki, dark!Loki, scared reader. Be safe! ;)
Tumblr media
You were fixing your hair and taking a look at the fancy dressing options for the official play, taking place in the center of Asgard, a place properly dedicated for cultural artistic exposition.
A bunch of the most famous actors throughout all of Asgard were coming to interpret roles in the huge theater near the castle, as an official tradition. Asgard is often envied in the matter of culture and in their specific field of acting art.
You've never felt more treasured, it surely felt gifting to be able to experience such an unique phenomenon, to be invited to such a thing.
And you're human. It feels a whole lot to you.
Far away from your home on Earth.
As much as it bothered you, you had to keep your mind off the annoying sting in your chest. You came here for an honorable reason, to represent as a Midgardian diplomat, settled by Thor to help him with his rules and studies for Asgard and the other realms, as he already knew you, he thought you to be the perfect fit. You don't want to disappoint.
But this loneliness is unlike any other, you can't help but wonder how your family and friends are doing, at home. You could fully say with conviction that the only friend you have is the godly Avenger that swore to protect you through your journey out of your original realm.
You were okay with it, until you had to get down and face the real world. You wore the very detailed white royal dress that most appealed to your eyes, and went downstairs to meet with the known blond just waiting for your presence, awkwardly messing with his…formal, hero cape.
He says your name with hesitance, “I'm so sorry, my friend. I truly am, I won't be able to attend the event,” he expresses, you frown and press your hand to your heart.
“What? You're the only friend I have here, am I supposed to go alone?” You're quick to ask.
“You can go with Loki,” he mentions the dark prince, you blink.
Loki wasn't a bad man to you, from what you've known of him, you're not a judgemental person, you don't like going for other people's words. But he's known on Earth for being a murderer, you watched the news, even though you weren't present during the attack you still could feel the pain that all those victims went through. It felt like you're betraying them, like you're hurting them by thinking of befriending the god.
However, since you've shown up on Asgard, Loki has been nothing but amicable to you. You just hesitated considering him a friend, whatsoever, he's a person you've —unfortunately — come to admire.
Whenever he passes by your sight is attached to him, as if you've been hypnotized, he's charming, pleasing to be around, your sense of humor matches a lot from what you've had the pleasure of discovering of him.
“Loki?” You repeat, letting the name echo through the walls of the castle. You're momentaneously afraid you've summoned him with the name.
“Yes, he's not too bad,” Thor looks a bit embarrassed of having to state so. “He's kind when you spend time with him, I know he'll treat you well. And if there's one thing my brother loves more than anything, is the events that involve acting around here. You have to see just how bright his eyes sparkle when he watches the plays, and this one in particular is one of his favorites. We used to watch it with father when we were younger.”
You were now enchanted by Thor's description, your eyes shining at the idea of having someone acknowledged to teach you more of something you already enjoy so much, you're also a huge fan of acting, and theatrical acting was a hidden passion you've always adored.
The thought of Loki liking this so much excites you, because you love surrounding yourself with enthusiastic people, you love seeing them being passionate about what they love. You thought it wouldn't be so bad to have a guide, it is definitely a better option than to go just by yourself, or to refuse and stay in bed for the day.
“Well…” You think for a second, looking around then coming back to Thor. “I don't see why not.” You shrug your shoulders, the blond god gives you a bright smile and says he'll catch him for you.
You wait at the entrance, looking all like a real princess waiting for her prince to take her to a royal ball.
“This is too fancy for me,” you look down at yourself, somehow feeling a sense of imposter syndrome. Feeling unbelonging, too human for this, it's way more than you could ever dream of. “I shouldn't be here.”
“Now, why would you say such a thing?” A low soft voice asks you from nowhere, you jolt as you turn quickly, recognizing the owner of the voice.
Loki gulps as he shares eye contact with you, glancing down at your pretty dress, you take a moment to appreciate his beautiful princely outfit, black and green, with tiny golden sparkling details. His body seemingly just fit for the measures of the clothes, you think you've lost your breath for a second.
He smirks as he catches you staring.
“Princess?” Your heart flutters a little, you swear your legs feel a bit shaky from the endearment.
“I'm not a princess,” you hurry to correct, your cheeks heating up against your will.
“You look just like one. You can be a princess, and if you don't like it, you have the experience for the night.” He offers his hand to you with a charming smile.
“No one would believe I'm a princess, prince Loki.” You challenge him.
“They will if I treat you like one,” he licks his lips and his eyes give you such softness you could melt again. Another pang, the betrayal, the attack on Earth.
You're the one to gulp nervously now, taking your eyes off of him and looking to the road ahead.
“You don't need to, it's fine,” and you quickly hurry to change the subject before he can protest. “Shall we go? Otherwise we'll miss the time. Nobody likes being late.”
You and Loki arrive at the festival together, getting off the carriage, he offers his hand again when you're exiting, like a true gentleman.
There's a lot of drinking, dancing, and singing. The theater is still empty waiting for the actors to arrive. Your excitement is likely palpable, Loki could swear he feels it radiating off of you.
“It's okay, princess,” he says loud enough for others to hear, placing his arms around you. You blush but refuse to protest, he gives you a knowing look and a mischievous smile. “We can have our fun before the show. Let me show you around all the cultural Asgardian beauty.”
They had a lot of variable types of drinks, a lot of dancing presentations for people to watch, and the singers had the most amazing intonations that your ears could be blessed to hear. You couldn't believe how lucky you were, to be able to humanely get in touch with the art from the gods themselves.
The harp brought an etheric touch to all the singing, the harsh intoning of the words whilst they sung something in their native languages, deep voices to match their godly vocal chords. Be it from the realm they were, your heart clenched in delight from all the admiring.
Loki was an impeccable guide, showing you some popular dishes, giving you the most delectable desserts, and watching the performances with you. Thor was right, you could see the special touch he had with art, it was as if he forgot everything else around him when he got close to it.
“This play will be my favorite,” he musters and you stop to listen, carefully. His voice is low but the smile he's wearing really makes you interested in what he has to say. It's like a secret you're two are sharing.
“What's the name of the play?” You couldn't believe Thor hadn't told you this before, you felt a bit ignorant towards the conversation. Loki puts his hands on your back again to calm your nerves down.
“The Masquerade,” he almost whispers. Like a real secret, almost as if he could read you.
“Oooh,” you teasingly express. “The Masquerade, such an interesting name, will they wear the masks?” For a second you feel dumb to ask, Loki only laughs a little and rubs your back to comfort you.
“Yes, yes, they will. I truly hope you find it as beautiful as I do.” His eyes sparkle with a sprinkle of mischief among the kindness.
“I probably will,” you say more to yourself than to him. If he thinks it's beautiful, there's one more reason for you to like it, there's a special key to the piece, they caught someone's love before you've met it. “What's it about, anyways?”
He looks down at you due to the height difference and brings his gaze back to your eyes, deep piercing blue staring right into you, you feel a bit sick from the closeness.
“It's…uhh,” he pauses, a bit sheepish, you never thought you'd see the infamous, 'evil' god of mischief looking embarrassed to talk about something he loves. He clears his throat. “It talks about several people meeting at a Masquerade ball, one of them, the leader, —who is the murderer, but it's a fact unknown to the characters of the play— wears a mask that resembles the face of a comical ghost, it may sound a bit silly, but it's really symbolic. It has the horror of course, putting the thrill aside.” He still blushes to say.
He continues.
“The thrill of having to discover who is responsible for the murders whilst everyone worries because their lives are at risk, you don't know which ones you trust, there's just…something about it that makes me terrified, I think that's why I'm so invested in the story.” He manages to explain to you. “But I really like it, I've even read the scripts before, a few times. I had the pleasure of reading the original one when it was created.”
Your eyes widen as he says it all. “I love these kinds of things! The mystery!” You exclaim. “I love it, and we'll get to see who's actually the murderer at the end, right? Sometimes I tend to get my intuitions wrong,” you joke.
He chuckles, a bit surprised. “Yes, of course. Where would be the fun if we never get to know who did it all?”
“And you're quite old, huh?” You give a teasing smile, he shakes his head, smiling too. “You know so many things from so many years ago.”
“Don't let this disappoint you, I hope.” There's a glint and the softness he always presents to you. You feel queasy, you feel happy. “Your mortality is not an issue here.”
As the festival went on, even the Warriors did their own little stunt to occupy the time, but the actors never arrived. You were starting to get a bit restless, you wanted to watch the show and you feared you wouldn't get to see what Loki so lovingly shared with you.
Everybody gave out a gasp of exasperation when all the lights of the event were turned off. People immediately sighed a bothered "blackout", but even the candles were blown off, leaving everyone in a sea of darkness swallowing all the excitement there was before.
“We can't enjoy the event without lights!” One of the warriors complained, you couldn't quite remember his name.
“Why can't I light the candle? The fire just doesn't lit,” someone complained loudly. “Where is a God of Fire when you need one?”
“I bet that's all because Thor's not here!”
You turn your head around the annoyed complaints of the people, listening to them all in confusion. Loki made sure to appease everyone telling us that we should all stay calm, that the problem will probably be solved soon.
“How could we know? We can't trust this snake!” Someone screamed, pointing at Loki.
“I'm the prince, and I was raised to rule,” Loki had a stern expression as he spoke. “Whether you like it or not, it's true. As Thor is gone for now, I will listen to all the complaints you have.”
“I bet he did it on purpose!” An old Asgardian lady yelled behind the crowd.
“Why would I? I have nothing to gain from this, it's just more of a headache for me,” he said annoyed now, he probably couldn't handle accusations when all he was trying to do is enjoy something he loves.
“He wanted to watch the show like everybody else,” you awkwardly meek the words out, you felt ashamed as soon as they came out and the people looked at you.
“This trickster has watched the same play a thousand times!” Someone gestured rudely with their hands. “He knows every detail probably, he's not doing anything for us.”
“Silence!” Loki orders, “I will not tolerate insolence! You wish to complain, you do so, but meanwhile, I'll put my best efforts to fix the issue.”
You thought the blackout was going to last for maybe a few minutes, but after a while with each sound of nature echoing throughout the open space, you questioned if you're wrong after all. Why was everyone still in the dark? The complaints were now too loud for your ears.
And the worst part is that you've lost sight of Loki. You remind yourself of some old men pulling him by his sleeves, you try to remember what the men's faces looked like, but it remains unsuccessful.
Your heart is quaking with anxiety, he was your only access to hanging out around Asgard, without Thor around or his trusted brother, you feel completely at loss.
Furiously looking around the place to check if there's anything you can find, whilst others are starting to grab their things to go away.
A sudden light hits the entire circle, a brighter light stinging the people's sight and coming from the theater stage. You hiss and move your gaze, trying to fathom what it's going on.
“The actors are never going to come.” Says a terrified man among the crowd, he's gasping as he looks at the empty stage. What does he mean by that? “Where's the King?! Where's Thor?!”
“We have to run!” An old lady screams, bumping your shoulders as she runs in the opposite direction, grabbing all her stuff. You're still confused but you recompose yourself and immediately try to go somewhere darker.
You scramble through your mind to think of where Loki may be at, you don't want to imagine him suffering with any possible attacks. And your eyes fickle to the golden castle sticking close to the theater area.
You imagine that's the place where they might've taken Loki to, so you run there, readying yourself to the presence of an unquiet Loki, or maybe a tired, questioning Thor, wondering what all the fuss is about, both the princes immediately trying to solve the problems. You'd run and embrace yourself in the feeling of safety around their presence.
Instead of that, the castle was all empty, you knitted your eyebrows as your skin shivered from the cold you felt in the air. The golden castle has never been so cold, and it seems all the lights have gone out here too.
You're alone. There are no palace staff even, no cooks, no nurses, the princes are nowhere in sight. Alone. And it frightens you, you feel the loneliness ripping your bones as you wonder if staying with the angry mob would be a greater idea than trying to come to the castle.
You hear a ringing way too loud for the quiet atmosphere, you recognize the sound of your cell phone ringing. You run to where your temporary room is, and grab the vibrating phone in your hands.
You're puzzled, it's odd. It isn't supposed to function, it never does. Who would want to call you when you're so far from Earth?
Nobody here has a phone connection, so why does it work? Could it be someone from Earth calling you?
You'd probably ask Thor about this later, but you see the number is unknown. You ask yourself if it's possible for the marketing programs to call you even from another realm of distance. You muffle a small laugh as your mental joke eases your nerves.
You hesitantly accept the call, feeling curious.
“Hello?! Is anybody there??!” The raspy male voice questions frantically, it seemed almost robotic, sounding like they're out of breath, you can hear a tiny sob coming from the other line.
“Y-yes, who is it?” You shiver as you listen to your own voice ringing in the closed room.
“Please! Please help me!” The weird voice pleads you. “Please, I found this device out in the blackout, I don't know where I am. But I have you. Please help me.”
You try to shush him calmly. But you're scared as you're still alone, and the voice calling you sounds male but unrecognizable.
“Look I'm sorry, I'm not a person you should be calling right now, I'm really lost too.” You try to explain peacefully, your chest aching from feeling useless. “Please, forgive me,” You hang up.
Seconds later as you ready yourself to leave, organizing all the important stuff, there's the ringing again. You groan loudly and answer the call.
“Hello?!”
“Are you alone?” He asks, giving another sob through the line. “I'm sorry if you are, I just feel uneasy.”
“I'm packing my things to go face an angry mob of people. Why did you call me back? I told you I can't help you.”
“You'd rather face some angry people than help me?” He asks, quite stressed, all of a sudden sounding a bit angry. Your body stills on the spot.
“I don't know who you are!” He sighs as he hears you.
“That's fair.” A silence rings. You sigh and hang up again.
As you walk out the room, the phone rings again.
“I was testing you, I know a woman that's alone shouldn't come around to help people they don't know, you're really smart.”
“Is it you again?” You ask out of patience.
“What are you doing now?” He sounds more curious.
“I told you, I'm packing my things.”
“Why are you lying to me?” You freeze.
“...Excuse me?” You look around and check if there's anyone that saw you leave your room. “Also, wait. How do you know I'm alone? I never told you I was…”
“Were you on the play?” He changes subject.
“I-uhm…Yeah, I was. I wanted to watch it- yeah. Now answer my question!” You respond feeling incredibly uneasy.
“I was there too. Are you also human?”
“Me? Yes, I'm the Midgardian. You're from Earth?” You walk and get giddier on the call, someone from Earth in Asgard would bring you more familiarity. For a minute you forgot your question remained unanswered.
“Was just curious. Thor likes you a lot. He speaks a lot about you.”
“Thor? Yeah, he's my friend...” You wonder why the stranger is bringing him to the topic.
“I think I found a light, will you stick on the line until I reach it?”
“Sure thing.” You don't know why, though you don't see anything wrong with waiting. Your every move is still shaky from fear.
“You never told me your name.” He says suggestively, you hurry down the stairs and breathe out the next words.
“Why do you wanna know my name?”
“Because I want to know who I'm looking at.” A shiver runs down your spine. Like a whiplash, you feel observed as you search your surroundings.
“...What?”
“I wanna know who I'm talking to.”
“That's not what you said.”
“What do you think I've said?” He asks, feigning confusion.
You rush to the entrance only to notice the doors are locked, your hands shaking as you knock the door repeatedly to call attention from the outsiders. You're sure the stranger heard you banging the door through the call. Shit.
You don't say anything as you hang up this time. You try to compose your breathing, the phone rings once again but you don't move to accept the call.
“Someone!! Help me!” You loudly call, waiting for a response, a sign, anything. The dark was even scarier after the call you received, the cold all too threatening, like a bunch of invisible eyes looking under your skin.
After some moments of silence passing through your weeping eyes, you're fighting to keep the sobs hidden by putting your hand to your mouth to muffle the noise.
You kneel down, body glued to the door, holding it for dear life, your heartbeat a bit too loud for your eardrums. You're hugging your knees in a position of defeat as your body trembles with each sob.
You're wondering if the Asgardians had evacuated the castle and forgotten about you. You wondered if Loki forgot about you.
Your phone rings.
“Don't you hang up on me again or I'll make sure you're the first one to get killed.” Your sobs get even louder. “I'll gut you like a fish and feed your organs to the wolves!”
“What are you doing?! Who are you?!” You ask, clenching your fist to your chest. The rough voice from the other line chuckling from your questions.
“Does it matter, sweetheart? You want out, don't you? Poor thing, locked alone in the castle…”
“Please…don't hurt me…”
“You've told me once you like scary stuff, thrillers.” You fight not to hyperventilate. “Let's try some method acting, shall we?”
“No…no I don't. I don't like this shit.” You grit your teeth.
“You do, sweetheart. Don't lie to me. Don't you want to join my play? I planned it just for us, I thought you wanted to watch it. I can make you a star.”
“What?! No…” You cry.
The door opens out of a sudden and your body falls to the dirty earthy ground. You leave a groan, when your head lifts you're surprised by the dark that's out in the wild, the only light being the stars above your head and the vast bright moon occupying the sky.
You lift yourself with trembling knees and hear a voice coming from the phone.
“If you ignore me one more time I'll fucking cut your neck off, you stupid little bitch!” The person threatens and you visibly recoil, throwing the phone very far away, ignoring his instructions and running for dear life.
Panting on your way through the golden speckled Asgardian trail out of the castle, darkened by the lack of lightning that you find in the way, you breathe as best as you can, ignoring the fear clutching your heart and the tears pricking your eyes, face puffy and your nose beginning to stuff.
“Damn it,” you tremble and fall in your steps. Sobbing to the air. “Shit, shit…” You curse to the skies as you try to regain your steadiness.
You start listening to a noise behind you, shuffling the bushes and startling you even more. When you pay attention, there are a pair of black boots making their way out of the bushes, right to your direction. A cloak covers down their ankles while your eyes widen.
You don't stay behind to care for whom it may be, nor wait to check their face, and you keep running.
You're startled as a man comes to your line of vision, screaming, frantic. You tremble and end up falling backwards on the ground, he falls on top of you. Your hands are punching him to move off of you but he seemed just as frightened as you were.
He also noticed your punches were much weaker than the touches the gods carry. The strength they have. He supposed you were a human.
“Oh thank the Lord!” He praises God, and your face is entirely a mix of fear and anxiety, the tears making it very uncomfortable to keep your eyes open. “Thank the Heavens, you have to save me!”
“No!” You scream, pushing him away. A human. He doesn't fool you, he's the damn murderer that's been stalking you. You push his figure behind and he falls off his steps.
And then a knife craves his stomach, your eyes are wide and you're nauseated. The blood speckles to your terrified face. You can't help the scream that leaves you.
You quickly hurry to move up and keep on the run, suddenly someone grabs you by your neck, pulling your whole body up effortlessly, scaring all the breath out of your body.
You're pale as you realize the person is masked, wearing a ghost face mask and a cloak covering their entire body. The person from that was following you, the murderer.
“W-who…” You're fighting, clutching the gloved fingers holding you up and choking you by your pulse. “Who…I-I can't- breathe…” You say between resistant breaths.
“I told you not to ignore me, didn't I? I didn't think I'd need to repeat myself. You seemed like a pretty clever girl.” You recognized the voice from the phone.
“Please…”
“Don't beg, sweet. You're right where I want you to be.” He turns your body, clinging to you, pressing a knife near where his hand was, on your neck. This hand is now resting on your stomach. “I was waiting for this the whole night.”
“What?” You squirm around his grip, wanting to get out.
He clutches your face, forcing you to look at the stage. The one that was before empty, and now, is filled with decorations and blood stains. Your bile raised up to your throat.
Your eyes widened in fear and filled with terrified tears, you could barely hold your screech as you paid attention to the calculated amount of bodies on the floor of the stage.
You were now fully hitting him even though your limbs were being held tight, you still tried to escape.
“Don't be scared, princess.” A shiver runs through your skin, your whole face must be a mix of sweat and tears. It's like everything is turning in your head, dizzying you. Princess.
Cruel joke. Must be a cruel coincidence, a cruel joke against you. You imagined the killer heard the nickname Loki called you, you could only hope Loki was coming to save you anytime. Maybe he knew how much you liked him.
“Don't be scared, we're only starting the show.” He carries your body up and takes you closer to the stage, all while you punch him as best as you can with full fists. He doesn't seem to be affected by your weak punching.
“Shh, now.” He calms you through your breakdown, shushing you and moving a piece of your hair that was sticking on your forehead due to your sweating. “Shh, you'll like this game, I promise.”
“Game?” You repeat with a gasp, mouth open in fright. “I don't wanna play anything, you freak! You monster!” You try to jump off his embrace but he's stronger and clutches his hold onto you with more strength. “Please, let me go…”
“Come on, princess.” He calls through your cries, placing you down on a throne-looking piece in front of the stage, when you touched it, it felt so…real. You wondered how anyone would be able to bring a real golden throne to this place, you wondered if it was like the one the Asgardian King has.
“A real throne for a princess.” You felt the goosebumps rise one more time, bringing your attention out of your senses, as you looked at the masked freak. “You can't get out of this.” He says and you notice you can't move your hands, you actively scream out, really scared at being unable to move.
“What are you doing?! Why?” You wonder, and he touches your face delicately, the ghost face giving you a cold feeling down your spine, your eyes bright with tears as you look up to him.
He moves your face a bit, to get you to look at the stage instead of himself.
“We're just going to play a game, my princess.” He softly says, as much as his raspy voice can muster. You start shaking your head in denial, frantically.
“Please, no. You've had your fun, I promise I won't tell, please! Let me go!!”
“You wanted to watch the play, we're going to do so. You just have to guess who's the one that's guilty. If you get it right, nothing happens, and you get a reward. If you get it wrong, we're going to have even more fun.”
“Why are you doing this?” He doesn't respond, he keeps his hands on your shoulders as you watch ahead.
The play starts, a terrified man tries to run you, but he's interrupted like there's a wall in the way.
“Please, help me! I'm innocent, I need to go away.”
You try to move your hands but you can't. The Ghostface whispers in your ears.
“Do you trust him, sweetheart? It's in your hands.”
You shake your head and close your eyes, desperately trying to ignore the scene in front of you. More characters came into the scene.
“Don't worry about the actors, sweetheart,” his whispering was almost so soft for the fake covering voice, hidden behind the mask. “That man, the one that just screamed,” he points his knife to the man that's staring at him with big scared eyes. “He was wanted as a criminal, his reward was worth thousands of gold for arson, murder and sexual abuse.”
“S-so you don't think sexual abuse is correct?” You ask before even thinking, just feeling a wave of relief.
“What?” He sounds surprised for a second. “Why would I–? Oh, sweet? You thought I'd hurt you like this?” His voice sounded different at the moment he realized, like it really hit him somehow. “I'd never do this to you, there's no need to worry about that, I think it's the most disgusting of all crimes.” He says tilting the knife, you gulp not knowing what to do, but gratefully accepting the fact the killer had moral limits about this. At least.
“Pick one.” You realize you've barely paid attention to the play, to the actors moving.
“Please…” You keep on begging, maybe that'll help, but it gets him even more out of patience. “Please, I can't play with people's lives!”
“You should know what you were getting into before coming here.” He gets closer to your face, you only wish your hands could work so you could pull his mask off to know who he is. “Come on, pick one.”
All the characters looked terrified, one wore a sillier mask of the Ghostface that was beside you, purposely seeming fake and cheaper. You start shaking, it'd be too obvious to pick the Ghostface that's acting, he's supposed to be the story's murderer. No one was actually killed during the act, they just pretended to kill.
“Do you think he did it?” The real killer asks beside you, almost sitting by your side close to your throne. He steps in front of you, steps clear and slow as his boots hit the ground, making you fixated on his every move. “You've been looking at him.” He takes something out of his cloak, and you almost can't believe it when he pulls out a gun and shoots the guy wearing the leader's mask.
“NO!” You scream loudly, hoping to reach his ears before he finishes the murderous act.
A few more very loud shots were done, the stage was now shining with the stranger's dark red blood, and the actors were all shaking, shivering, on their best attempts at holding their cries, because they didn't want to be a part of it, they're afraid they'll be the next.
“This play is originally Midgardian,” he said, ignoring your cries. “Being written decades ago, only modern versions have this new weapon so the characters would be killed at a distance. I think it's practical for our current game.”
“NO, NO, NO, THAT'S HORRIBLE! STOP, STOP THIS, LET ME LEAVE! I DIDN'T PICK HIM, I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO DIE!” You scream and your whole body is shaking as you feel the guilt racking through your bones.
You feel his gloved hands caress your arms.
“Sweet,” his strange voice keeps calling you. “Princess, please, look at me. Look at me,” His glove is tainted with dark blood, staining the rich dark black material. He tilts your chin up to make you look at his masked face. You feel even more afraid, the unfamiliarity and fear burning up your body.
You can't stop crying, and your sobs are becoming louder and louder.
“Look at me. It's okay, remember what I told you? He didn't deserve to live. He was supposed to go through the death penalty anyways.” You didn't know if you trusted his words. You were scared. Terrified. Shaking, and now feeling so guilty you couldn't even think about being saved.
What if they put the blame on you? What about the disgust the princes will feel about you? You feel tainted, dirty, like you killed him yourself, with your bare hands.
You couldn't handle that, you didn't want to take the man's life. You couldn't stop looking at the blood, the smell of iron now clinging close to where you're stuck at.
“Please, let me go. You got what you wanted.” You try one more time.
“You think I got what I wanted?” His hands strongly hold your already immobile wrists. “Princess, I could do this anytime I wished, but I want you.” He says and you shiver even more. “I want you to be the star. My Queen. The one they admire, I want you to stay with me.”
“What? W-what do you mean by that?”
“Thor is not coming back.” He says almost too softly, nonchalant, apathetic, you want to throw up. You're feeling dizzy, there's a knot in your stomach and you don't know what to do.
“What?! What? What??! Why? What have you done to him?! What about Loki?!” You cry and beg for answers.
He chuckles. The mask moving with each small laugh he lets out, you want to rip it off his face. This person you already hate so much.
“It's so sweet of you, it matches your nickname. Sweet, sweet, darling thing. It's so beautiful to know just how much you care about me.” He moves the mask off his face and you're unmoving, you go completely limp as you stare at the face you admired before, the tears wouldn't go away.
Were they correct this whole time? You've been considering a psychopath as your friend this whole time?
“L-Loki?” You hate how you stutter as you say his name, you hate to see him smile at that. You hate that you don't hate him, because your brain can't link the murders to him. Not him. “Loki, why?”
“My father made me love this play, he taught me everything. I was here when it was created, Odin thought of the leaders like brave warriors, soldiers. The weaker ones got killed first but only he remained.” Loki's voice now sounded so suave to your ears, you imagined the strange one must have been granted through his magic and illusions.
“Such a beautiful story, sweetheart. It has so many layers, I can't wait for you to get involved in this artwork as much as I do.” His smile was so bright you felt nauseated, you couldn't even speak. “Look at the irony, look at it! The Norns must love me! Odin died first, he isn't here to present my thriving. I'm the only one that's left, the leader, the King, the ruler. I'm winning now, and the act is going on!”
He conjures a knife and presses it close to your neck, making you yelp and jump a little out of the chair. You're surprised you can move now, but he still grabs you forcefully and pulls you up to him.
“I was the one that made Thor bring you here. I was paying attention to you for so long, it didn't take much convincing until the oaf agreed, he even befriended you. You have no idea how long I've had to wait with my nerves at bay.” His jealousy was visible as he spoke and you shook from his words.
“Look at them. The blood of the undeserving, the weak ones. We are above them, my princess. You and me. We can win this game. I'd never, ever, hurt you.” He says the last sentence with a seriously cold expression, you open your mouth and leave out a loud cry. His frown deepen.
“What's wrong? I thought you wanted to see how the play goes?”
“Not like this. Please…Loki…” You feel his hand reaching under the skin of your dress, pulling it up and moving to caress your thigh. You feel perverted as your eyes open and you look at the blood and the terrified faces among the stage.
You take the moment he's distracted to rush out of his grip, he's caught unexpectedly so his knife accidently cuts your shoulder, you grunt from the small wound.
You turn to leave as quickly as you can, Loki chuckles to himself, thinking about how cute it is, that you think you can be quicker than him. That you're trying to escape, it's what a really smart princess would do, to be brave enough to try.
You pass through bushes, a weird unknown garden to you, wanting to find anyone else that was there before, anyone from the crowd that was running away, screaming loudly your pleas for help that no one hears.
You look behind, not seeing him makes you even more uneasy. You can feel his presence near you, you don't know where he is.
There's a particular downhill area you didn't see right in front of you, you accidently fall. Your legs failing you and hitting the ground from a long altitude distance, cutting your face and any naked skin you're letting out, your bones felt the fall and you curse how stupid you were not to pay attention.
Your skin is tainted with dirt, your face now on the ground. You think your foot is out of place as you groan out in pain, it hurts to move it. You can't believe you could ever be so stupid. Your dress is so painfully yellow after all the dirt.
You cry like a little kid.
You're surprised when your phone —the one you threw away — is right next to you, ringing and intact. Your face is so puffy from the fall, and because of all the crying, all the fear.
You move your arms and hold it close to your ears. “Hello?” Your voice trembles.
“I should have told you, you can't run away from me, darling.” Loki's voice echoes through your mind now, you almost feel it like a safety blanket covering your skin after the defeat, you don't know if you should accept the loss or not. Like a balm, a salve.
He's the one that hangs up this time.
You feel a pair of arms holding you up with him, cozying you into his arms, so you can peacefully rest your head onto his chest, still covered by the dark cloak.
He pats your head, letting his hand softly caress your back as you lay in his arms, he's carrying you somewhere else.
You see the people now, the Asgardians, and the actors from before. So you quickly put your head back to Loki's chest again, wishing to hide away.
“I shouldn't have just thrown it on you like that,” he keeps his soft touches on your clothed back, his magic cleaning the dirt on your skin, balming the wounds. “It takes a lot from someone, but you're so pretty when you're scared. I got carried away, I'm so sorry.” He quickly apologizes after he says so, you keep hidden, not wishing to speak.
He sighs tiredly, he massages your scalp, you almost mewl like a kitten when he does it. Your heart still aches with fear and he tears up at your shivering, afraid he's broken you.
“To all the Asgardians,” he begins, voice loud and authoritative. “I expect all of you to do your normal duties tomorrow, everyone in their expected places. I'll have the lights fixed after I have my fun.” His fingers massage your scalp as he mentions that. His other hand holds you up by your buttocks, he's steadying you in his arms.
Unknowingly to your hiding self, the Asgardians nod tearfully and all so scared of his statements. They all were quivering under Loki's gaze. He seemed like a true mad King to their eyes.
To Loki, he's never been more sane, this is all he ever wanted, he's got you in his arms now. And Thor is gone. He's a King.
“To the actors,” he looks at the frightened crew still in their respective places. “I expect a full play. Just as we planned.” He gestures to them to continue, they lock eyes with each other and look at the corpse close to their feet. “Now.” Loki could only roll his eyes with impatience.
They move in their respective places, getting ready for the show. Loki sits on the throne with you clinging to him like a koala. He's smirking all too proud, he loves feeling needed.
He considers putting the mask back, it's a symbol for greatness in this art. It's what his father used to say.
“Love,” he calls. Not wanting to frighten you more, you look up to him with a quivering lip. “You're okay, we're okay.”
He lifts a bit the end of your dress again, unbothered by the actors frantically moving among themselves, not knowing if they should look or not.
He grabs your ass cheek, making you gasp from the suddenness. You don't want to think about the scene, so you don't. You stick to appreciating his closeness, and him, you feel like a pervert for enjoying this, his low voice speaking against your skin.
He kisses you.
“I'll make you feel better.” He brings you up a bit to lick down your earlobe, moving to kiss your neck. “I'll make it all better, I promise. I've been reckless.” He says, taking off his gloves and pressing his nails against your skin, marking tiny half-moon shapes on your flesh.
Wanting to fully feel you, smiling as he remembers the desperation from the man, he's dreamt years of this performance. Of having a figure to be conquered, the star of the show, you.
The blood still covered his cloak, and it's starting to taint your beautiful, innocent skin. It entices him more, of course. He groans near your ear, you moan under his touch in response.
He hears the movement from the play and he grabs your hair tenderly, you've had enough for one day, he has to be kind, you need his softness that you adore so much. The one he reserves only for you.
He takes off your dress and lets it slip off your body, he's in awe as more of your skin reaches his eyes, his breath hanging for a second.
The actors now well enough not to look at you while the King has you in his arms.
He grabs more than he can, he feels graced by the Gods. He wants to suffocate you with his passion, the blood on your skin tainting his hands. The blood gets him so hard, leaving him impatient as he ruts against your clothed pussy, searching for friction.
He sucks on your neck, taking his time to your shoulders, your hands tremble as you move to grab his hair. You keep your eyes closed, each breath you tried to convince yourself this was completely fine.
Loki's eyes glance to the stage for a moment, he takes a look at a character picking the ghostface mask off the floor, and with a shaky breath and, most likely heavy heart, the next thing to be heard was a short scream. The cut of the knife tainted the actors even more, one of them turned to run to a corner and throw up.
Loki pressed his hands against your ears so you wouldn't listen to the vomit, nor the blood splashing out. But you knew.
"Weak bastards," Loki thought, "they'd never survive a war. Weak, fake puritans. Their blood is a noble sacrifice."
Loki kept a hold of your head to his chest so you wouldn't watch the scene, you were still shaking, poor thing, wouldn't be able to take it. Your curiosity was dangerous to you, he had to keep you safer than he assumed necessary, innocent, untainted little thing.
“Princess,” he takes your face between his hands, only leaving a small distance between his lips to yours, practically speaking right into your mouth. You blushed under his loving gaze. “Can I have you?”
Your breath stopped short, you were so dizzy you feared fainting from such intense emotions. Loki was all you wanted, but after this? You were terrified.
“You don't need to accept, I won't even make you watch the show. I fear it'd be too much for your pure heart to take,” he carefully fixes a singular strand of your hair to behind your ear.
“I'm not pure,” you meekly said, your eyes stinging with the weight of the truth. You've never felt dirtier, never felt more like a sinner. If punishments were deserving for those who committed atrocities, you trembled to believe you'd need them all. “I'm not pure, I deserve to suffer.”
“Don't say that,” Loki sternly commands. “Don't say that, not you. If there's a soul in this universe that deserves all the nine realms, it is you.” His words are stern but so soft, you once again feel your lips quiver at the start of another sob. You were way too emotional, everything was way too wrong.
Everything but the sensual way he was touching you.
His fingers kept a gentle caress of your back, down your spine, to reach your hips and buttocks. His breath hitched as he gritted his teeth, attempting patience, waiting for a sign that you soon granted him.
“Please…” You begged, like a poor little mouse under his tricks. He felt oh so blessed, the Norns truly must love him. He practically yanks you panties down, they hang somewhere around your calves as he starts to touch your needy cunt.
He skillfully touches your folds, your pussy clenching from the movements he's making, he slips his fingers inside your cunt to stroke that sensitive spot inside of you, curling his fingers, making you a mess.
“That's it, sweetheart, take your pleasure,” he craved those pleased whiny moans of yours, they were a treasure to his ears, you were clenching around him and lifting yourself a bit up with each thrusting of his fingers. He couldn't control his groans to himself. “Take it from me, it's yours. All yours.”
His palm circles your clit, paying extra attention to the moments you get sensitive, shivering under his hold like his precious toy, heat running down your skin. You shamelessly begin riding his palm. He kept your legs fully open now with his other hand, keeping a strong grip on your skin.
“Let me play, darling. Don't be cruel.” You didn't know if your tears came from pleasure or fear now. Your mind wasn't allowing you to focus on the seriousness of the situation, you didn't want to look at the blood, and the smell of him intoxicated you to the point you ignored the smell of iron around the place.
“Y-yes…” You mindlessly opened your legs further, making him give you the prettiest, most devilish grin your eyes could see.
“I'll treat you so well, you will enjoy being mine, princess. I'll make sure you do.” You don't hold your moaning, unafraid of the possible eyes wandering to your figure. Your nails digged his shoulders, your hips rutted against him unashamed, begging for the friction, for more of his marvelous fingers.
He helps you through your climax as you're gushing over his clothes, you're a trembling mess, coming undone for him, your entire face now very sticky with sweat and tears, the post-orgasmic bliss clouding your mind.
“Do you want to know how the show ends?” You feel goosebumps as he asks that, no, no you don't want to.
He looks down at you, bringing his fingers up as a trail of your cum sticks on the way to his mouth. You're dazed as he licks his fingers clean, keeping eye contact with you, you see a bit of blood sticking in between the act.
You wonder whose blood it is, if this is any hygienic, but you supposed being a God had its perks for these things. Your eyes squeezed tight in shame.
He makes sure to lift your face to make your eyes open again.
“No need to feel embarrassed if you like it.” Your blood boils and the heat you feel increases, how dare he? To assume you'd like being part of something so cruel?
“I don't like it.” You say coldly, not passing any of the burbling rage you feel.
He laughs a bit from your serious expression, you feel mocked. You knit your brows, you didn't know Loki could be this way.
“I love you, princess.” It's like a stab on your heart after the cruelness.
“No, you don't.” He scoops you up his arms, out of a sudden, you yelp as you're lifted, instinctively holding up around his neck.
He moves the throne magically to the center of the theater. Everything looks so hazed and spectacularly planned out.
He places you carefully down the throne, even fixing the skirt of your dress as he leaves you there.
You feel out of place, the characters that are alive have pleading eyes but none have the courage to move and run away. You begin to feel your blood boil for them too, how could they be so weak? How could you?
“My heart.” Loki calls you, you shiver because of the pet-name.
Your tears came back again, and your head now stings drastically from so much crying. If you survived, the headache you'd feel tomorrow will be painful.
Now, your fear was one thing, your anger another, even your cries as you orgasmed were angelical and he craved them like a sick bastard. But your sadness? That stung deep into his heart, ripping it like a carved knife tearing his insides out.
“Please… please don't cry, love. It's okay.” He never thought he'd beg another, he wanted to make everyone else pay. But you? You didn't deserve pain or suffering, and now you're crying because your poor heart is so sad it can't take any more of what he's made you go through.
He'd have to go a long time apologizing, your sadness was starting to cling to his bones.
“My love, look at me.” He holds your hand, kneeling by your side down the throne. Like you're the Queen and he's just a peasant, your servant, a pet.
You don't feel very royal at the moment, you don't really feel in control. If that's what he's planning on doing.
“That's my pretty girl.” As much as you're defiant and trying to keep yourself unattached, you can't help but blush at his words. They seem innocent, they seem honest. “My pretty girl, now the Queen of Asgard. Just as you deserve.” He looks down at your body and licks his lips. He'd feed you all the compliments in the world just because you deserve them.
His hands slide to your thighs and squish them under his hands. He leaves out an animalistic moan, looking up at you with so much desire clinging to his pupils.
“I've been waiting for this part the whole night.” You feel off at that, but he holds you as he hovers over your figure on the throne, quickly scrambling to get rid of his pants. Your panties have been discarded a long time ago, so the wetness is now ruining the fancy marble of the throne, your cheeks warm up at the realization.
He's pinning you against the throne with his weight, his back to the audience, covering you.
He sheaths himself inside of you, he goes in more easily than you imagined, making your eyes round as you feel him throbbing inside you, desperate to move.
He pulls out a bit and thrusts back into you at once. He has an insufferable smile covering his face, and his eyes closed in pleasure, appreciating the warmth of your cunt squeezing him in, welcoming his cock like you're made for him.
“Oh princess, I envied all the souls that had the pleasure of being near you.” He grabs your chin roughly forcing you to look into his eyes, your own eyes moist as you feel so inferior to him. “But what can they do now? What would they do now that I have you? I have you. I have you.” You pant as he bucks so deep into you, you can feel it hitting impossibly deep to the hilt.
“Y-you don't.”
“Oh?” He taunts. “Is that so, my heart? What does it look like to you?” He keeps his punishing pace into you, hands pressing down your womb where you can both feel the bump of his manhood shoving into you, balls repeatedly hitting your ass with every frantic thrusting. His sweat hitting your skin as he fucked you like a beast. “Because to me,” another harsh thrust, you moan and crave your nails on the skin of his back, legs wrapping around his waist. “It seems like I've won.”
Your eyes roll up your skull as he keeps hitting that sensitive spot, he was craving the sensation of your exploding orgasm, he craved to feel your cunt straining his cock as you milk his cock. His hand moves lower as his thrusts become more powerful, he rubs your clit. He hears your panting and moans into your ear like your sounds are a victory of its own.
You cling to him as his hips work you until your head falls backwards, the lights all on you as you spasm around him and his massive form still holding you for dear life. Loki finished with a bite down onto your neck, right next to your lifeline, biting a bruise as you felt him spilling into you.
You cling to him as you cease your rocking hips, he holds your tired legs down as he keeps himself rested inside you, calming down his breathing as your forehead touches his.
You look down and see the earlier blood smeared across your skin, you gulp, he feels your cunt clench from the sight and he gives a satisfied smile.
He coos you into his arms, embracing your form.
“I have you, princess.” He pulls out carefully and you hiss from oversensitivity. A long string of his cum coming out of you, you watch it with fascination as it runs down your thighs, moving a bit so it doesn't ruin the pristine throne. “I have you, my star.”
He conjures a knife again, and hands it to you. You watch it dazedly, the bliss really making you more fuzzy.
“Dearest,” he sweetly calls you, he's been doing that a lot, you notice. “The star needs to finish the show. The true leader. The one they're obsessed with, the true Star.”
You're limp as you take the news, you move the knife on your hands with a detached curiosity, it's clean now but you wonder for how long it's been used, and for what kind of things.
“I can't kill anyone.” You weakly say, afraid you'll disappoint, his eyes are wide but he still nods. He's quick to show you he's not disappointed.
He pats your hair and nuzzles your cheek with his face, getting your lips close to him so he can give you multiple and multiple kisses all over your face. You feel his affection like a healing balm in itself, you bathe yourself in it.
“It's okay, it doesn't need to be you.” He affirms, still passing his hands across your hair, and skin. He glanced at another actor, you hid your face again into his chest as you anticipate the cruel fate that'll obviously occur no matter what.
And it did, you heard another splash, someone else needed to die. You're shaking and your sobbing is louder than you wanted, Loki keeps you scooped onto him. He begins rocking you back and forth gently as a means to calm you down, cherishing you, babying you.
“The Star agrees for it to be the end, I presume?” He asks and you nod repeatedly. You just want it to end.
“Please… please, no more.” You beg weakly, he cradles you and coos some more, keeping you safely tucked in his arms, he starts to move around to stand up with you still clinging onto him like a koala.
“This will be all.” He gives a satisfied smile to the crowd of actors, the ones that survived shaking, trembling. Still meekly downing their heads as all actors do when a play's over. They rush to the exits, and Loki allows them.
“Shh, now.” He still asks of you as your cries are unstopping. “Please, love, it's over.”
“What will happen now?”
“I've told you, I'm the King. Nothing will happen, this play lasted for generations, it's the first opportunity I've had of making it my own. Centuries before you even dreamed to exist, but they don't dare to defy the King.” He patiently passes his hand up and down your back, holding you more to him. “We're safe. I told you. We're all safe.”
You guessed he wasn't going to refer to the dead people around you, or the ones that died in the way.
He takes a trembling you with him somewhere else, you don't know where you're going, but you don't have the bravery to peek out and see. You're still afraid to be the next.
You feel even more perverted everytime you think about death and feel his sticky cum running down your thighs, you feel even more perverted as you don't regret it.
“I'll take you to our chambers.” He says, as if it's nothing.
“Our chambers? Mine is…” He interrupts you. You check around and notice you're inside the cold castle, nobody's in sight but you and Loki.
“No…not yours, our chamber.” He recalls you. You shake your head clinging to his chest again, leaving out another sob.
“I'm sorry,” he continues, frowning now. “Do you hate me?” His voice trembles as he asks, your fists curled around his muscular chest as your mind fights to hate him, but you fear you don't. You don't want to tell him that you don't hate him. “This was more traumatic to you than I assumed it would be.”
Your eyes open as you try to look anywhere but his face, and as you peek at the floor, you see the shiny, bloody ghost face mask left on the floor. As if it's nothing now, as if nothing happened.
It gives you the chills.
“I-I, I've never had to–” You sob loudly. “Never thought I'd need to see- see people being murdered.” Your stinging eyes now struggled to keep open, you fought to breathe and to speak. He tries to calm you down and rubs over your clothed skin some more.
“My love, my heart, it's over now.”
Is it? Is it over? Was it all a huge nightmare? Your eyes squeeze shut as you wish for it to be all a giant, mean trick. But as you opened them, everything was real, and the blood, the cum, the memories, still very much present speckled across your impure skin.
“It's over.” He places you ever so gently down his giant bed, it felt heavenly, the pillows were so soft and the mattress smelled like paradise. It felt so heavenly you sighed out in relief, your bones received the touch against the bed like a treat. “It's been enough for this year, but we'll need to treasure the future performances.”
Your heart froze, of course. There were additionals.
“You don't need to worry about that now, my heart.” He pleads again, kissing you, you accept, and then pressing a gentle peck to your forehead. “For now, I'll let you relax. I'll prepare a bath for us, and I'll let you rest your divine mind into dreamland. Does this sound suitable?” He asks with a kind smile, smoothing his fingers over your wrists.
You clear your throat to say.
“Yes.”
“Perfect, my heart. As I have you, I'll take care of you. I've planned to have you as my Queen for a long time. I won't let it go to waste, I promise I'll take care of you.” He scoops you up to him again, he seemed to enjoy treating you like a princess a lot. Cradling his face next to yours. “One day you'll forgive me. But for now, for now, let me make you learn how to love me.”

Hello!
Can I request with RoR gods?
Where darling/reader who's a fan of some movies/games/anime/manga/books and simps for one of the characters in it. And the character they like have a similar characteristics (name, looks, traits or personality) as the (God)…
What would be the reactions of the Gods and what'll they do?
(Ex. Loki- hearing his darling says his name, and he teleport to where his darling is, when his there, he saw his darling's simping at the character, who's named also Loki at the movie, Marvel, as she watches the show Loki getting annoyed or jealous when darling simping for a character that similar like him;
Hermes's darling simping on Sebastian Michaelis from Black Butler, and Hermes's internally annoyed by it, so he watches/ reads & try imitating it to impress his darling)
w/: Loki, Thor, Hermes, Apollo, Poseidon, Hades, Hercules, Beezelbub
I hope you like this! I wasn’t able to think of any characters for Hercules, Beelzebub and Hades, so I did not write them. I do apologize.
-Loki- Hated this other ‘Loki’, an actor portraying him in this movie, The Avengers, who was suave and elegant looking, mainly because you had hearts for eyes as you watched the scene where he’s in his black and green suit. He teeth ground together as you whispered his name wistfully, immediately pouting, “Why don’t you ever say my name like that? What’s so special about this guy?” you turned to him with a bright grin, “He’s so elegant! And he looks so good in a suit!” Loki glared, draping himself across your lap like a cat, “I wore a suit, and you didn’t give me eyes like that!!” you couldn’t help but giggle, seeing that he was jealous, “Aww are you jealous of an actor?” his deep pout gave you your answer as he cuddled into your lap.
-Thor- Scowled lightly as you watched the actor in The Avengers who was playing the character by the same name, a grin on your face, in awe over his accent and personality. Thor looked down at you, wrapping an arm around your waist, hugging you a bit closer, “I don’t talk like that.” You grinned up at him, “Of course you don’t, this is the actor’s version of you.” He kept taking jabs, getting angrier that you kept defending the actor, “I don’t look like that. My hammer is bigger. Why is he so happy looking?” you quickly realized he was jealous that you were making eyes at another ‘version’ of him, making you tease him that he was jealous. The rest of the movie was forgotten as he pinned you down to prove he was better.
-Hermes- Pouted as you gushed over a character in your anime, Black Butler, Sebastian, who reminded you a lot of Hermes, wearing a suit, looking elegant but also intimidating at the same time. Hermes poked your cheek as he leaned down over the back of the couch, “You know I’m right here right? You have me you could be gushing over?” you looked up at him, realization quickly filling your eyes as you teased him, “Are you jealous over an anime character?” his cheeks turned red and you giggled before you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him down, pressing a kiss to his temple, “I just like him because he reminds me of you, but only I get to kiss you.”
-Apollo- His eyelid twitched, watching Ouran High School Host Club, watching Tamaki twirl around obnoxiously, cherry blossoms flowing around him as he shamelessly flirted with girls. Apollo scowled, “You like this guy?” you nodded, watching with sparkling eyes, “I do! He’s funny but also elegant and so pretty! He’s a lot like you!” Apollo instantly pouted, glaring harshly, offended that you thought he, the beautiful Apollo was like this anime character!! You pointed out all of the similarities, personality, actions, even over the top about looks, each one Apollo could only gawk, realizing that it was true, as he collapsed, gloom surrounding him, looking similar to Tamaki on the TV who was also collapsed.
-Poseidon- Scowled deeply, watching you practically drooling over Jason Momoa as Aquaman, watching him exiting the water without a shirt, “You know, a real sea god is right behind you.” You glanced back, smiling warmly as you greeted your love before you turned back, “I know that, but Jason is so hunky with that bod and that long hair!” Poseidon immediately grabbed your chin, forcing you to look at him before he kissed you deeply, making your eyes go hazy. He crawled on top of you on the couch, getting your attention from the movie. Once he pulled apart, he liked the look on your face, seeing you dazed. He then turned bright red as you grinned up at him, “You’re so cute when you’re jealous!”

SPOILER ALERT! This Q&A contains spoilers for Season 2 of Loki.
Season 2 of Marvel Studios’ Loki expands upon the inner workings of the Time Variance Authority, where the God of Mischief has been working tirelessly to save, well, all of time.
That includes introducing new characters, like Ke Huy Quan‘s Ouroboros. As the TVA’s dedicated handyman, everything inside the institution was either created by him or is currently maintained by him. When Loki and Mobius enter his workshop, they become his first visitors in 400 years.
Little do they know, Ouroboros is an integral part of their quest to prevent the branches of time from overloading the Temporal Loom.
Following the end of the actors strike and on the heels of the Loki Season 2 finale, Quan spoke with Deadline about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his character Ouroboros, and his own full circle career moment.
DEADLINE: It’s so great to get to talk with you about Loki. You haven’t really been able to talk about your role, due to the actors strike. What have you been waiting to say?
KE HUY QUAN: When I decided to become an actor again, [being part of the MCU] was at the top of my wishlist…They all welcomed me with wide open arms, and I was so happy. I was patiently waiting for the show to come out so we can go and celebrate it and tell the fans. Then, of course, the strike happened. I just want to tell everybody how proud of the show I am. How happy I am with it. And working with Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, the entire Loki family has just been incredible. We made this last year in London. I was there for four months, my wife and I were there. It was one of the best four months of my life. I’ve done a few shows before, and this was the first time where I didn’t want it to end. I was so happy. In fact, I’ll tell you this. We were scheduled for reshoots this February, and I was waiting. My wife and I were looking forward to spending more time in London and with our Loki family. And all of a sudden we were told, ‘Oh, we don’t need any reshoots. It’s all good.’ I was kind of disappointed. I was actually disappointed that we didn’t get to go back because of how much fun we had… So we made history. We make history two times. One is the first series of Marvel getting a second season and the second is the first time a Marvel show didn’t have any reshoots. I’m so proud of that.
DEADLINE: It is quite a feat to not have any reshoots. So that was probably one of the few times you were excited for reshoots.
QUAN: A lot of times actors dread doing reshoots, because you have to go back. You have to get back into character. But for this, I was really happy. I was looking forward to it. It’s so ironic, because the more I wanted to do, it’s like, ‘Oh, we don’t need it.’ But this is a testament to how great the show is and to how great a Leader Tom Hiddleston is. Working with him has been incredible. It was such a masterclass on how to be a great actor, a great leader, and most importantly, a great human being. He is so kind and humble.
DEADLINE: When you first read the script, what did you think of your character, Ouroboros? What were you hoping you could bring to him?
QUAN: Well, first of all, when I read the script, I instantly fell in love with Ouroboros. It was so well defined on the pages, and I can see him right away. This character was not based on comic books, so it was created by our showrunner Kevin Wright and our head writer Eric Martin… I instantly wanted to play him. And I remember this was at a time when Everything, Everywhere All At Once had just came out. It was paying only in New York and in Los Angeles. My agent said, ‘You’re gonna get a call from Kevin Feige tomorrow.’ Now you have to understand, when I became an actor again, joining the MCU was at the top of my wishlist. I was so excited and I said, ‘Could this be it?’ I was driving. I picked up the phone. And on the other end I hear, ‘Hi Ke. This is Kevin Feige.’ He went on to talk about how much he loved our movie and how much he loved my performance. Then finally he says, ‘Ke we would love for you to join the MCU family.’ I was driving at that time. I start tearing up, and I couldn’t see the road anymore. I said, ‘Kevin, can you give me two seconds?’ I pulled the car over, put it in park and I said, ‘Please continue.’ He says, ‘We have this great character for you, Ouroboros. I really love him, and I think you will be perfect to play him.’ He told me about Loki. He told me about the MCU. He spoke [with] so much passion and enthusiasm in his voice. It brought me back to the day when I met him for the very first time on the X-Men set when he was just an associate producer, and I was an assistant action choreographer…He loves this universe so much. He has such a vast knowledge of this universe. And little did I know only 23 years later, I get to work with him. I get to play a wonderful character.
DEADLINE: I’m glad you mentioned that. It is quite the full circle moment.
QUAN: You know, that’s why I love the name Ouroboros. It’s s a snake eating its own tail. I had a wonderful time working with Kevin on set. It was at a time where I didn’t think I would ever step in front of the camera again. It was also the time where I questioned whether I would have a career working behind the camera. It was when I just graduated from USC film school. I didn’t know what I was going to do. I knew I didn’t want to leave this industry. I love it so much. So to be able to do that and to come back again in front of the camera… I’m very fortunate.
DEADLINE: Your comedic timing is so spot on in Loki. I’m thinking of the scene where Ouroboros manages to recreate the Tempad after 19 months and losing his wife. What’s the secret to nailing a scene like that?
QUAN: I don’t think much about it. I gotta credit Kevin Wright and Eric Martin. They really beautifully created this character Ouroboros. The dialogue, when I was reading for the first time, I laughed out loud, because he’s so quirky. He’s so weird and funny. Yet, if you think about it, who is this guy that’s working in the basement of the TVA for more than 400 years with no friends? No interaction with anybody. His only encounter was with Mobius when he got lost. Yet he still takes his job so seriously and so passionately. It has a lot to do with the beautiful dialogue that they came up with.
DEADLINE: Do you think O.B. stays in the basement for another 400 years or will be venturing out more often?
QUAN: When you get a taste of what friendships feel like… Loki is addicted to that. So I’m sure O.B. will be as well. When you don’t have it, you don’t know what you’re missing. But once you have it, you keep going after it. So I would assume that O.B. would periodically, when he’s not too busy, he would go up the elevator and go say hi to Casey and B-15 And just to mingle with Mobius, because he loves Mobius.
DEADLINE: What scene are you most proud of?
QUAN: I love Episode One, that scene when he’s talking to Mobius in the present and Loki in the past. That is so creative… It’s so is so well written. It’s so funny.
DEADLINE: How did you feel when you read the script for the finale?
QUAN: I was blown away, because I didn’t see that coming. It’s so beautiful and so poetic. When you have a character who wants to be on the throne all his life, and he finally gets to be on it. But he can never leave. He made the ultimate sacrifice…To me, Loki is the ultimate hero because he made the sacrifice without recognition. Nobody knows he did this, except the team. No one in the Sacred Timeline is going to ever know that. If we’re lucky in life, we would have people like that with us. The unsung heroes.
Loki is streaming on Disney+.

Silhouettes In The Spotlight - Bucky Barnes - Chapter Fifteen
Summary: Bucky Barnes has worked immensely hard to have a filmography expanding across genres and garnering accolades from critics, peers and fans. Y/N Y/L/N, with her debut novel (fan-fiction turned New York Times Bestseller) has two other best sellers under her belt. Next is her highly anticipated fourth book lined up for release. SHEILD Productions has acquired the film rights to her debut novel and they want Bucky Barnes to play the lead (aka himself) by any means necessary. This story is about angst, lust, heartbreak, and love. After all fairytales only exist in books and movies right?
Warnings:fluff, angst, SA mentioned not described, drugs mentioned not consumed, entertainment industry language (basically misleading way of delivering news), legal stuff, anxiety, court proceedings, bucky is sweet but also a menace, shitty lawyers and victim blaming, comments made on size of reader

Loki stares at the iPad lying on the desk. The shower turning on brings him back to the present. Dozens of emails, back and forth correspondence.
Pictures.
Pictures of him.
Pictures of Bucky.
Pictures of Steve.
Pictures of You.
Pictures of Bucky and You.
Pictures of Steve and You.
Some actual and several altered to insinuate much more than what was ongoing. Bile rises in his throat as he scrolls to the top and through the chain again while recording all of it on his phone.
Intimate pictures he exchanged with Ace, the bathroom door opens. He exits the iPad back to the home screen. Making sure to close all apps before locking the device.
“Are you coming in, big boy?” They call out, beads of water flow down their naked form. A sight which would have Loki tempted but now churns acid in his stomach.
“I’m terribly sorry, it's my brother. I need to go.” He explains having told Ace enough about his sibling, Thor, that they could draw conclusions for the need to retreat. He had done it before genuinely.
“Oh no, would you like me to come along?” They step out further grabbing the towel.
“No, I um, I’d appreciate that but I’ve already asked Bucky. I’ll update you in a few hours. I apologise for cutting this short.” He buttons up his shirt, swiftly.
Ace stands before him, reaching up to cup his cheeks. They stand on their tiptoes, pressing their lips to his, Loki’s hands grasp their waist. Eyes closed as the two share the kiss so steeped in with betrayal.
Loki rushes out as the air is leaving his lungs, the court hearings are ongoing. The next date is scheduled for next week. He gets into his car, uncaring for the tickets he might receive and speeds along to his best friend’s apartment.
Bucky opens the door to a frantic looking Loki who just thrusts his unlocked phone into his palms. The green eyed man heads straight for the bar cart and pours himself a generous serving of the amber selection. Downing it in one go.
Bucky stares at the playing footage, stomach knotting with every exchanged email. Natasha was right.
It was someone on the main crew.
Someone all trusted.
Someone you considered a close friend when Natasha and Yelena seemingly abandoned you.
“Pour me a glass too, I need to tell Feather.” Bucky holds out his hand and the cold crystal is placed in, he takes a sip then a longer one. Calls are exchanged between Andy, Matt and himself. More calls are made to Agent Lewis and Agent Lang.
The calls take hours and a meeting is called in order.
Bucky closes his eyes tightly, pinching the bridge of his nose.
When would this nightmare end?
A sniffle brings him back to the present Loki hunched over and trying not to cry into his hands.
“I trusted them.” He mutters as Bucky’s arms envelope him into a hug, “I, I– Bucky I’m so sorry.”
“I’m so sorry this happened to you. You don’t deserve this, not one bit.” Bucky pulls him in a tighter embrace, “I know how much they meant to you.”
Loki sniffles, holding onto Bucky, “I’m so sorry.”

You stare at Ace across the hallway of the courthouse. They meet your gaze, offering you a bright smile.
“Smile back.” Bucky reminds in a soft murmur, from his position, leaning against the wall, coffee cup in hand. You offer them a tightlipped smile.
“I feel sick.” Your palm pressed against your stomach, the queasy feeling blooms, “I can’t keep up this charade for long. Behaving as if yet another person hasn’t betrayed us.”
“I’d recommend a stiff drink.” Steve drinks from his own cup wishing it was something else. Glare affixed on Ace who was busy chatting away to their assistant.
“I don’t believe alcohol is the answer, Rogers. Believe me, the four ibuprofens I’ve taken agree.” Loki observes making his way over to your small group.
“How are you?” You hug him, he hugs back. Sighing deeply.
“I will be better.” He says, he takes off his sunglasses as he pulls away with a smile that doesn’t reach his eyes.
“Don’t apologise again, please.” you request, he smiles still apologetic.
“Apologise for what?” Ace interrupts, grasping Loki’s arm with their own.
“For stealing me from date night for you know…” Bucky pushes himself away from the wall, wrapping a protective arm around your shoulders.
“Ah, yes.” They smile up at Loki, he grins at them, “I really hope you didn't mind, Y/N.”
“Of course not, I know how complicated a family can be, and having people to trust is extremely important. I’m happy Loki didn’t have to be alone.”
Steve masks a snort with a cough at your thinly veiled jab. Loki shifts slightly, Steve yelps, “These are YSL!” He sneers making sure the shoes aren’t damaged.
“Don’t worry they're baptised now by Louboutins.” Loki winks at him.
“Case in point.” You add.
Ace only smiles.
Andy waves at you all to enter the courtroom.
The crowd diminishes, as the courtroom fills up.
“All rise for Judge Rambaue.”
Judge Maria Rambaue takes her place, and everyone settles. Matt stands, as does Andy. The defence lawyers comprising the familiar faces of Schmidt and his overworked paralegals eye them warily.
Alexander only glares towards them then his gaze finds yours, he raises a brow. Then your view is blocked as Bucky shifts forward. Glaring at Alexander. The gesture makes the older man laugh, bemused. He looks on ahead.
“Don’t let him get to you, Feather.” Bucky murmurs, kissing the top of your head. You nod, intertwining your hand with his, he strokes his thumb over your tattoo.
“Permission to approach the bench, Your Honour?” Matt’s voice rings across the room.
“Permission granted.” Judge Rambeau waits as the teams approach.
Andy speaks and Schmit’s face turns red, he begins firing his paralegal, who cowers back pushing up their spectacles.
“I’m going to ask you to be respectful inside and outside of my court, attorney.” The judge’s voice is loud enough, the journalists at the back begin scribbling across their notepads vigorously.
The attorneys return to their respective tables. Matt whispers something to Andy, the two share a conversation. The latter stands, buttoning up his blazer.
Andy takes a deep breath, “Your Honour we would request to call Mr. Peter Quill to the witness stand.”
“Granted.”
Peter Quill walks with a confident stride, giving a beaming grin to a very confused looking Alexander Pierce.
"I solemnly declare and affirm that the evidence I shall give will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth". Peter says, then faces the room.
“Mr. Quill, you were arrested a few weeks ago on account of possession of several narcotics seized from your home.” Andy questions.
“Yes, those charges have since been dropped as the evidence collected was planted and it was a thinly veiled warning.” Peter nods.
“I see, I would request the court to allow me to submit evidence from Mr. Quill in regards to this statement.” Andy returns with the marked evidence in hand.
The tape is played, Alexander’s voice warning Peter heard by everyone.
“Untrue!” Alexander yells.
“Order in the court, Mr. Pierce.” Judge Rambaue’s voice warns.
Andy shakes his head, “Analysis from Agents Lewis and Lang have revealed this is a non tampered with tape as well as the voice match software affirms it indeed is Mr. Pierce’s voice.”
“Objection!” Schmidt stands, “Mr. Pierce was in a recorded meeting on the date of this claim!”
“Mr. Schmidt!” The judge bellows.
“Your Honour this is a baseless argument!”
“Your Honour, we have records and geolocations found. Which confirms the call location and CCTV footage affirms Mr. Pierce was on a call at the same time.” Andy offers the evidence yet again.
Peter smiles at Alexander, “You made a grave mistake by coming after me.” he laughs, the smug expression doesn’t leave his features.
“I never called you. You were fooled. What would I do trying to one up an imbecile like you?” Alexander rolls his eyes.
The gavel resounds.
It's silent in the courtroom, Peter leaves the witness stand and Alexander is called upon to take the place.
“So you mean to say what? Someone imitates your voice during the call Mr. Quill received?” Matt questions.
“Yes.” Alexander replies.
“How are you speaking with such certainty? There have been several people here who have disproved most of your lies.” Matt gestures towards the crowd, “The jury have heard each lie be thwarted.”
“Several people have tried and failed to copy several aspects of my life.” Alexander sits back in the chair, one hand running through his hair.
“I understand and what about the call being placed from within the location you were at?” Matt drums his fingers along his guide cane, waiting for Alexander to speak.
“Someone knew I was at my chosen location and made the call. They were present for the sole purpose of incriminating me. I was on a video conference where you can confirm with the person on the opposite end.” He shrugs.
“You have a lot of enemies, is it Mr. Pierce?” Matt gives a sympathetic smile to Alexander.
“It comes with the line of work, son.”
“Who was on video call with you?” Matt turns his head towards the jury then back to the man.
Alexander sighs, “With my nephew, Brock Rumlow.” He flicks away a piece of lint, seemingly bored.
The lawyer purses his lips, waiting to formulate his next line of questions. Andy stares at Alexander for a moment. Then three taps on the desk. Matt tilts his head then straightens it.
“Whenever you’re ready, Mr. Murdock.” Alexander smiles as he smoothens his tie.
“Thank you Mr. Pierce. Now you mentioned that there was a video call with your nephew Mr. Brock Rumlow, correct?” Matt smiles.
“Yes.”
“What was the context of this meeting or agenda if you would be so kind to share?” Matt gestures towards the judge and jury.
“I am not at liberty to discuss since it is about the upcoming film he is directing.” Alexander’s lips press into a thin line.
“Alright and you affirm that you did not take nor make any other calls during the entirety of this meeting?” The lawyer raises a brow.
“Yes, I affirm.”
“If we were to acquire a recording of this meeting as mandated for all HYDRA, formerly known as SHIELD Productions online meetings, would this support your statement?” Matt smirks as Alexander visibly tenses, his eyes move to his lawyers.
“Objection, calls for speculation.” Schmidt covers.
Matt chuckles, “Alright, can you prove you took no calls Mr. Pierce?”
“Objection repetitive.”
“I haven’t received my answer.”
“Overruled.”
“Mr. Pierce? Since this rule is followed by all members and employees of your co-owned production house?”
“I am HYDRA.” Alexander grits out, palm slapping against the wood of the desk.
“Sentiments aside, can you prove you took no calls?” Matt keeps his cool.
“I built HYDRA to where it is.” Alexander presses.
“By sex-ually abusing young women and men?” Matt roars, calm demeanour fading away.
“Objection, leading.” Schmidt interrupts.
“I did no such thing, these people are placing baseless allegations for money!” Alexander bellows ignoring Schmidt.
“Mr. Pierce, the honourable court has received conclusive evidence that you did in fact assault the victims who have bravely come forth to share their harrowing ordeal.” Matt points out, “Many of whom have–,”
“Oh please, they received money from HYDRA to keep them more than compliant, silent and happy. This is all for more fame. Especially from that trio there.” Alexander sneers and points his fingers at you, Bucky and Steve.
Silence takes over the court.
Bucky places a protective arm around you.
Your hand finds his; fingers intertwined.
Steve keeps a blank expression.
Slowly it dawns over everyone what Alexander let slip.
Andy smiles pleased and it makes Alexander lose his composure.
Schmidt scrambles to stand up after an entire two minutes, “Objection h-hearsay.” He stutters.
Matt smiles, “Your honour, I have no further questions. I would request Mr. Barber to take over.” The two exchange places.
Andy smiles at the Judge and then Alexander, “Whenever you’re ready, Mr. Pierce.” Who only scowls at him.
“You may begin, Mr. Barber.” The Judge declares.
“In continuation of the question not answered earlier, Mr. Pierce, can you tell us why proof of your call is not submitted? It increases the likelihood of this one charge you may be found not guilty.”
“I am not at the liberty to share confidential information about ongoing HYDRA projects.” Alexander regains composure.
“I see, so a video conference with Brock Rumlow but you cannot share the discussed matter but you can affirm you did not take any calls.” Andy lists the affirmed matters.
“Yes.” Alexander answers.
Andy cheerily grins at the Judge, she raises a brow.
“Your honour we request the honourable Judge, Jury and court to allow Mr. Brock Rumlow be summoned to witness.” Andy continues to smile.
Schmidt snickers under his breath. Alexander’s shoulders relax further.
You watch as Andy’s smile doesn’t waiver and Matt does a fist pump as the Judge allows the request. Approving the paperwork Andy takes from Matt to handover.
A break for fifteen minutes is called, everyone scatters out yet again. Brock was in custody of the NYPD awaiting his own trial.
You’re following Andy and Matt into the conference room assigned to them. Bucky and Steve in tow. When chaos breaks in the hallways.
Bucky is pushed up against the wall, lapels of his blazer bunched in Alexander’s fists.
“Admit it.” He sneers, Bucky keeps his hands where everyone can see them, pressed against the wall.
“Alexander.” Bucky warns.
“Admit you fucking made that call. Only you can mimic me without a fault. You did this!” He spits out, fire burning in his eyes.
“Alexander, you need to stop making false accusations, that was a bit for the Emmy Awards. Years ago. I can’t even do a British accent, you know this.” Bucky explains, keeping his hands still in the air.
Your brows furrow when you notice Andy presses his lips into a thin line and Matt grip his guide cane harder. Steve avoids your gaze.
Your lips part as Bucky too, looks at you and then away back at Alexander.
The guards drag him away.  Bucky smoothens his suit jacket.
“We’ll talk inside.” You know he speaks to you, “Privately for five minutes.”
Tumblr media
Bucky grips the back of the chair, he allows you time to form your question.
“Did you mimic him?” You question, you knew he presented at the Emmys with Steve once but you never had gotten around to seeing the video.
“At the Emmys, yes, I had.” He recounts.
“Bucky.” your lips are dry as you run your tongue over them in contemplation.
“Feather, why would I?”
“You hated what Peter Quill did at the event…” You conclude.
“Yes, but I didn’t plant the LSD or Coke or whatever the hell they found.” Bucky defends, you press your fingers to your temples.
“I didn’t ask you about that.” Your eyes meet his azure.
“He’s on the same track as him, he had to be busted.” Bucky emphasises pressing his index finger against his palm.
“Do you have an alibi?” you close your eyes.
“I do. I was at an interview.”
“Then… How?”
“Recording played over.”
“You better not be hiding anything else from me.” You affix your glare on him. Then jog around the table to embrace him.
“I wouldn’t dream of it, Feather.” He wraps his arms around you, tucking you against him.
“I promised you I’d take care of you.” He murmurs.
“Not when you’re– well, felonies.” You complain.
“Hey when most of your book boyfriends are morally grey why not your actual boyfriend be too?” He teases.
“They do the doorframe lean, amongst other things.” You huff.
Soon enough you’re twirled, back pressed to the wall. Bucky smirks, his hand resting above taking most of his weight. As he leans in, blue eyes full of playfulness. Your skin heats at the proximity.
“This better?” His voice is doing that deep baritone thing, the one that makes the thoughts in your head mush.
“I–,” words don’t support you.
Bucky leans in further, lips brushing against yours, he cups your jaw.
Closing the meagre distance between your lips and his own.
Tumblr media
In the brief recess after knowing what Bucky did for you. The team never got a chance to speak. The break was extended further into lunch to allow Brock to be brought in, you felt queasy.
You still didn't understand why Brock being there would help the case in favourable manners. He was the nephew of the man being charged. Of course he would only support the man.
Playing around with the wrapper of the sandwich is all that felt right. Bucky prompts you a few times to eat, as do Loki and Steve.
“I just don’t feel hungry…” You repeat.
“Okay how about this?” Bucky makes smaller sections of the sandwich effectively turning two pieces into four, “Eat two small ones, it will help with the queasiness.”
When you just look at him, he raises the piece to your lips.
“The airplane needs landing access.” He chuckles, full of hope that you will eat.
“You’re…” You can’t find the words he’s absolutely adorable. So you do part your lips letting him feed you the first piece and then the second piece.
Bucky turns for a moment when Sam walks up needing to discuss the shoot scheduled for later today.
He looks back at you while Sam speaks, raising the third piece, you eat it without protest.
The rewarding grin Bucky gives you further melts your heart. He turns yet again to answer Sam.
You eat the fourth piece on your own, the queasiness easing.
“Good girl.” He praises, placing a kiss on your temple. You smile up at him.
“It's like watching a sugar rush actually take place.” Steve grumbles.
Loki shakes his head bemused, “You’d do the same thing.”
The two share a glance at each then the other’s food. Both reach for one piece of the other’s food holding it up to their mouths.
“Here love, please eat.” Loki  says dramatically.
“No, honey, how can I eat unless you eat?” Steve defends, pressing the morsel to Loki’s lips.
You look at the two of them, “You know, I never thought about this, but I think the new book might have the two of you inspiring characters.”
Bucky and you look at them then back at each other.
“I see how these two would fit.” Your boyfriend chuckles.
“What are you planning?” Loki narrows his eyes at you and Steve regards you warily.
“Oh nothing at all…” You trail off, then look to the side as Andy walks towards your group.
“We’ve got ten minutes before the session begins, Brock has arrived.” His gaze settles on you. Bucky tenses beside you as does Steve.
“What?” You ask, looking between them.
Andy sighs moving closer, “He may bring up the night of the assault.”
“And that is a problem because?” You ask, “It happened, it's the truth…”
“There isn’t doubt about that, Y/N. If he brings it up, you will be called to the stand again.” Steve explains softly.
“Oh…” You swallow, the way Schmidt had questioned you, the blatant disrespect, the horrible accusations, the jabs at your weight and your writing.
Tumblr media
Previous Hearings:
‘And what about this? Your literature is so sexually charged, this conversation between your characters suggests women are dominating in nature during sexual situations.’ Schmidt places the highlighted passage before you.
‘Objection Relevance?’ Matt interrupts.
‘Yes, because sex should be consensual, safe, healthy and enjoyed by the individuals partaking, I don’t understand–,’ Your words are cut off.
‘You writing about these things promotes you were asking for it all by coming onto my client. If you couldn’t handle yourself with the substances you abused, a woman of your appearance had to resort to throwing herself on my client to achieve her–,’
‘Objection opinion.’ Matt roars.
‘You were at fault, you were under influence and you came onto my client.’ Schmidt accuses, ignoring Matt.
‘Objection Evidence!’
You cower back in your seat. Ears ringing, flashes of the evening playing. Breathing hard you search for Bucky. Your knuckles shoot pain at the harsh grip on your chair.
‘Ms. Y/L/N, your recollection of the night is obscured, how can you yourself believe what happened when all you have are flashes? The drugs you took alter memories, are you sure you weren’t with the people trying to bring my client’s name down?’ Schmidt stares down at you, dismissing you. Dismissing your experience, your eyes move to the jury.
‘Objection evidence! Evidence B351-85 is the entire audio recording of Mr. Pierce’s sex-ual assault on my client.’ Matt pauses hearing your laboured breathing, ‘Y/N?’
Black spots cloud your vision, ‘He did it, he said no one would believe me. Please, you have to believe me. I, I didn’t lead him on please. There were bottles and I was thirsty. The water had something in it, I, please.
Bucky stands, Loki tugs on his arm. The Judge looks at them then back at you.
‘Sit down.’ Andy whispers to them.
Your vision ebbs in and out, you try to anchor yourself to Bucky to something. Alexander grins smugly, you close your eyes, hot tears brim over your cheeks.
‘Crocodile tears don’t win cases Ms. Y/L/N. Your erotic fiction is good only on paper.’ Schmidt smirks, ‘No further questions.’
Tumblr media
“But Brock will corroborate, correct?” Bucky stares at Andy, the lawyer nods.
“Given who he shares a genetic composition with, I do not want to trust him.” He looks at Steve and Loki.
“If they call me to the stand again, I’ll tell the truth.” You nod, taking a steadying breath.
“If anything occurs, we’ll call Steve or Bucky again to the stand, okay?” Andy assures with an apologetic smile.
“We’re here to help okay?” Steve adds, “You call us as witnesses, we heard everything.”
Andy nods, “We better get inside.”
The courtroom is tense as Brock is led inside his hands still cuffed. Alexander rolls his eyes and shakes his head as his nephew takes the stand.
Andy stands, his opening statement done. Brock seems every bit laid back. As though lives won’t change based on his testimony. As if this means nothing.
“Yeah, Uncle was on a call in the middle of the meeting.” Brock says and a murmur breaks out.
“Order in the court!” Judge Rambaue bellows.
“Do you know who was it with, this conversation Mr. Pierce, your uncle partook in amidst the ongoing meeting?” Andy questions, raising a brow.
Brock inhales, “He muted when the call was made, archives will have a recording of the meeting and if not my meetings are backed up to my server. I am willing to provide access.”
“I see, thank you for your cooperation Mr. Rumlow. No further questions, your honour.” Andy returns to the table.
All eyes move to Schmidt’s table, whispering occurs. Alexander slams his hand on the table, sneering at his lawyers then Brock. Who only smirks at his uncle,
“I would also go on record to say that I have supportive evidence that the man sitting there, Alexander Pierce, has assaulted those three sitting there. I have proof of the blackmail done for the same. In fact it was delivered by their close friend Ace to my uncle in exchange for a three movie deal with the production house.”
“Objection, lack of foundation.” Schmit points at Brock.
“The foundation is every allegation of this case.” Andy counters.
“Mr. Rumlow, I hope you have evidence to support what you are stating.” The judge looks at him and Brock nods.
“I have someone who can corroborate everything, with proof.” Brock only gives his uncle a wicked grin when Alexander stands marching over to the witness stand.
The officers stop him, “You won’t fucking get away with this!” Alexander struggles against the guards.
“Order in my court! Mr. Pierce, I will not hesitate to charge you. This is your final warning.” Judge Rambaue points her gavel at him.
“I am paying the price of being by your side while you ruined my life by making me do your bidding. No more uncle.” Brock looks at Andy.
“Mr. Rumlow, you mentioned someone who can prove every allegation?” Andy enquiries, Matt stands as well, ready with the to call witness papers in hand.
You look up at Bucky, he shakes his head unknowing of who it could be either.
“Mr. Nick Fury.” Brock smiles, the doors open, all heads turn to the man entering.
Dressed in all black, Nicky Fury keeps his gaze at level with the judge.
“Objection….” Schmidt struggles with the reasoning.
“Your Honour, we request to call Nick Fury to the stand.” Matt hands over the papers.
Nick submits three folders and a harddisk, “I know this isn’t traditional your honour, but the board of SHIELD Productions–,”
“It’s HYDRA!” Alexander shouts, Nick turns, his eye narrowed at the man.
“Was HYDRA, as of the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held with the stakeholders and active managerial position holders, you Alexander Pierce, have been terminated effective immediately. All your shares have been forfeited and bought out. You no longer have anything to do with our production house.”
“You cannot– I will take you down with me!” Alexander warns.
“No Alexander, you’re getting what was coming to you. You abused your power and now it is time to pay up.” Nick taps the hard disk, “Your honour, this contains everything Alexander has done illegally. Our Production House is being cleaned out. All employees are willing to cooperate.” He heads to the opposite side’s witness stand.
Nick meets Bucky and Steve’s gazes, then yours, “I apologise to everyone I couldn’t protect before. It was a stupid ass decision to let Alexander lead, I shall be taking a more active role rather than just financially providing for the production house.
“The court will take four days to review the newly submitted evidence. The jury is asked to consider everything and take their time to decide. Mr. Pierce you are hereby ordered to be placed in custody for your contempt behaviour in my court without bail.” The gavel resounds.
Alexander Pierce is dragged away, the four of you remain seated.
“Where are you off to Ace?” Loki’s words stop them in their tracks.
“Loki, are you going to believe–,”
“Alexander, there is something going on between Steve and Y/N. However I believe they may explore a throuple situation with Bucky Barnes.” He recounts, cutting them off.
“Here are the pictures you asked for, if your team can switch Steve and Bucky’s angles you can push the story better.”
“You went through my email?” Ace accuses, “That is a violation of privacy-,”
Your snort cuts them off, “You’re the one to fucking talk! You’re the one who leaked everything, I trusted you so much and kept wondering, I kept thinking it was others and not you. Fuck, you should really get the damn awards had me fooled you were my friend. Hell, we all thought you were our friend. You didn’t even spare Loki’s feelings. Fuck you, Ace.”
They blink at you, mouth parted. Loki scoffs at their look of denial.
“It’s best we leave.” Andy advises gesturing to the one man recording the entire ordeal.
“Feel free to post that everywhere.” You tell the man who scurries out at being caught.
“I’ll pay him to post it all.” Loki keeps his glare affixed upon Ace.
Bucky’s palm rests on your lower back, guiding you out, “Home?”
“Home.” You affirm, he presses his lips to your temple.
Hayden brings the car around. Bucky and you settle in heading home.
Yelena calls then, you put it on speaker.
“Hey Lena, you’re on speaker.”
“Hey, Hey Bucky, I heard the highlights, how are you holding up?” You hear ice clinking against glass from her end.
“We’ll get there, I suppose.” Bucky shrugs, “Any news on HYDRA Publications?”
“All of HYDRA is being dissolved, mostly SHIELD is too, it’s going to turn into something new. However, all decisions taken by the companies an hour before the decision to dissolve remain final.” She explains then sighs, “We’re going through the semantics of everything, several of the roster of BW is involved.”
“Did, did we get what we wanted?” You ask, you’d independently publish, you just needed the contract gone.
“I’m just waiting for confirmation from legal counsel at Barber and Murdock.”
“Confirmation for what?”
“If you retain all rights as author even though they have dropped you from their roster, due to poor review performance.” Yelena chuckles, you look up at Bucky.
“Wait, she’s free?” He questions.
“Yes, she’s free. We’ll work on getting the ratings up but as of now, you are not bound by any publication house.” Yelena’s happiness is infectious.
You let out a relieved laugh, “Thank you.”
“I’ll get back to you, this whole thing has led to fires I need to put out.” She ends the call and Bucky envelopes you in a hug, pulling you across his lap.
“Bucky!” You grab onto his shoulders, he only laughs.
“I’m so very happy for you, Feather.” He cups your face with his vibranium palm.
“Soon you will be free from them too.” You kiss his palm.
Bucky smiles widely, pink lips leading to the dimple on his cheek and the crinkles by his eyes. Your thumbs stroke his cheekbones, your lips kiss his crinkles and dimple.

ꜱʏɴᴏᴘꜱɪꜱ; what type of actors I would headcanon the bllk characters as!
ꜰᴇᴀᴛᴜʀɪɴɢ; various blue lock characters!
ᴡᴏʀᴅ ᴄᴏᴜɴᴛ; 0.5k ish???
Tags; none just headcanons lol. Prolly some errors, I’m so lazy rn Im sorryyyy
Tumblr media
MAIN- ACTOR!
╰┈➤plays the role of the protagonist of a film, television show or play.
Is very well experienced in his job and flawlessly executes every role he gets assigned to.
only accepts Main character rolls since he sees himself as the best actor of his time and there is not one theater where you don’t see his face on the screen.
Is worldwide famous and known for his various roles in many of his successful movies.
Has a sea directors to choose from because everyone is anticipating to have this prominent actor to represent the main role in their movies.
Everyone hates their egotistical nature, but they can’t deny their impressive acting skills.
✎ Isagi Yoichi. Michael Kaiser. Itoshi Sae. Noel Noa.
FANS FAVOURITE!
╰┈➤who is very popular with the fans of a particular movie or television show.
Has men and women gawking and simping for him since he played that one role in a recent movie that literally went up in the charts as quick as wildfire.
Literally everyone and their mom talks about about him, almost forgetting about the movie itself.
Gets recognized anywhere he goes, fans swarming over him and begging to take pictures or get an autograph, some even looking up to him as an idol.
But of course where people love you, there are also people who hate. Paparazzi all over him and also a lot of scandals about him, some might be true and some might be not almost all of them are true lol.
✎ Oliver Aiku. Karasu Tabito. Nanase Nijiro. Yukimiya Kenyu.
CO-STAR!
╰┈➤who a part that supports the lead characters but sometimes follows their own storyline.
If you think the main characters steal the show of the side characters, then you’re wrong with this co-star.
If not it’s the other way around with him stealing the spotlight of the main protagonists- charismatic nature and handsome appearance always catching the eyes of every viewer.
There are SOOOO many edits about him everywhere I’m not kidding. I can imagine how his colleagues get quite jealous and mad at him for gaining all of the attention from the fans😭.
✎ Itoshi Rin. Chigiri Hyoma. Loki Julian. Hiroi Yo.
STUNTMAN!
╰┈➤who is employed to take an actor's place in performing dangerous stunts.
LOVESSS his job and could never imagine doing any other kind of acting. He lives for the thrill and action, anticipating to leave the audience in surprise, excitement and shock.
Is known for really risky stunts in famous movies, doing the stunts of many famous actors, like the ones mentioned above. Sees himself superior to them since he does ‘the real and hard work’.
Gained most of his fanbase from his social media, since the stunt-mans don’t get that much screentime or are sometimes not really identifiable. He posts a lot - from behind the scenes to bloopers of his failed stunts- there is A LOT.
Friends and family always warn him about the job, but he just brushes it off every time talking about how ‘it’s all just play pretend’ it’s not he broke his bones more than 20 times LMAOOO.
✎ Shidou Ryusei. Barou Shoei. Bachira Meguru. Gagamaru Gin.
SERIES REGULAR!
╰┈➤who is a member of a television show's main cast who appears in the show consistently over its run.
He isn’t in many movies nor series, but he has that one specific series/tv show where he plays in every single season.
No matter where you start- season one or end with the very last season- he is there.
Feels more comfortable playing in one than multiple series because he can focus on just this one role and file it into perfection and also really enjoys the fanbase.
It’s unimaginable to mention the series without referencing him- it’s more likely that people mention him before the series itself.
✎ Mikage Reo. Kunigami Rensuke. Otoya Eita. Nagi Seishiro

Thinking about the Namor discourse, I'm reminded of the Killmonger discourse from back when the first movie came out. Almost everyone agreed that he was right, but that his methods were extreme, and that Nakia had already suggested the same things without the violence. Killmonger's stance was... surprisingly just like Namor's. Basically burn the world, take it over (although Namor seems to have little differentiation between poor, oppressed people of the surface and the oppressors of the surface. At least that's how it seems.)
But there was also this huge rise in fans of Killmonger. He's a cool, confident character, played by a handsome actor, who was fun and cool to watch. He was definitely killed off too soon, though. Marvel had that problem of killing their villains back then, when comics heroes usually encounter their villains many times.
Now the main difference between Killmonger and Namor is that Namor isn't a villain. Killmonger comes from a straight forward villain character in the comics. Namor is an antihero in the comics. He has a long-standing feud with T'Challa and Wakanda, and they clash often for reasons similar to this movie. But Namor isn't supposed to be hated as a villain. He's coming from a completely unique perspective than everyone on the surface. Comparing Tenoch Huerta's Namor to the Namor in the comics, they're very similar in that their main goal is the safety and protection of their underwater society. Sometimes, that aligns Namor with the surface heroes. Often, he clashes with them, either because of his own extreme views (burn the world) or because they're getting up to something that puts Atlantis in harm's way (Talokan in the MCU).
So, when I'm seeing a lot of like... takedowns of people who like Namor, and who are attracted to Tenoch, and comments like "Anything for a sexy face" and "y'all wouldn't do this for a Black man" it feels very much... to me... like unfamiliarity with the character. Namor is a superhero, not a villain. We're not supposed to see him like Loki or Thanos. That's why they've been billing him as "the first Mexican SUPERHERO" in the press tour. He is an antagonist for Wakanda a lot of the time, but that's because Marvel comics are actually quite good at nuances. A lot of characters aren't strict hero/villain archetypes in Marvel comics. Look at Magneto and Professor X, as an example. You're gonna tell me Professor X is a moral good superhero and Magneto is a moral bad supervillain? Especially in the current comics where all Mutants live in Krakoa together and have a society protected from the rest of the world. You're gonna tell me Iron Man is a strictly good superhero? Like, nuance is how the comics work. That's what Coogler is actually really good at bringing to his MCU projects and it's why he's the perfect director to even handle a character like Namor.
Coogler knows how to bring the nuance. It's why everyone loved Killmonger, too, even if we didn't agree with him. (Though some of y'all did.) Nuance shows us why Killmonger wants to do what he's doing.
As far as "wouldn't do this for a Black man" takes... isn't that disingenuous when talking to fans of the Black Panther franchise? It's not like the franchise was small or didn't do well. It was one of the most successful movies of the Infinity Saga, up there with Infinity War and Endgame. Most people in these tags HAVE gone up for a Black man. T'Challa was not lacking in love. Neither was Killmonger. Or even M'Baku. How many oneshots I read about M'Baku taking care of his "vegetarian children" because of that one off, throwaway line "Just kidding. We are vegetarians." (Loved the callback to it in this movie with him eating a carrot while talking to the council!) People liking Tenoch Huerta and thinking his version of Namor is attractive has nothing to do with whether or not people find the Black men attractive. But for what it's worth, THERE'S ONLY ONE MAIN BLACK MAN IN THIS MOVIE and that's M'Baku. Unless you expect a bunch of teen and 20-something fans to go up over the elders on the council. T'Challa has passed, W'Kabi is in jail and never shown, Killmonger does show up for a cameo but that's not a main role. All we get is M'Baku. And people are going up for him, because people love M'Baku. This is a movie about a whole country of badass Black women. The only male characters of consequence are M'Baku, Namor, and Ross.
Namor is just a shiny new character and again, not a villain AND provides representation to an entirely different group of people. People are allowed to be excited to see an Indigenous character in a Marvel movie. It doesn't mean they don't love the Black characters in the movie.
As far as shipping, there's really only two choices and that's Shuri/Riri and Shuri/Namor. It's surprising that y'all are upset about Shuri/Namor, as that ship was obvious. You can dislike a ship without pretending everyone who likes it made it up based on nothing. Media literacy is understanding what a story is trying to do, and the Namor and Shuri scenes before the attack on Wakanda were trying to make you see them as a potential romance. I saw one take saying that they might possibly be switching Namor's obsession with Sue Storm into an obsession with Shuri (which is ehhhhhh and I kinda hope not, but would work with the storyline they're building).
With Riri, you get an easy ship kinda in the same grain as ScienceBros, and they are really good friends in the comics, so that ship is a pretty surefire one going forward.
I don't really like Shuri and M'Baku, but I could see it happening more than any of them in canon. I only don't like it because he reads very "older brother" with her and it would feel like an extreme left turn for them to date. But I could see the movies trying that pairing on some like... "good for Wakanda" stuff.
(Then there's Namor/M'Baku which is really funny, and I like your minds 🤣 Based on the "fish man" stuff alone.)
Anyway I'm getting off track, but basically, I think there's a lot of extreme behavior going on in the tags and I think it really boils down to this being your first introduction to Namor, because there's no reason to be angry with people for liking him. You're gonna have to get used to him, too, because he's a Problem, tm, and I fully expect him to insert himself into so many conflicts and give the Avengers grief, too. And I hope we get a main universe (I refuse to call the MCU 616) Illuminati with him and Strange and them, too.

Meet Your Daughter {Loki!Tom Hiddleston x magic!reader}
Summary: in which a visit to see a celebrity gives your daughter, Ester, a father.
A/N: I hope you like it! This is an au where Tom Hiddleston is secretly Loki and you have powers!
Warnings: smut, angst, father/child bonding
Tumblr media
You held onto your daughter tight as you waited in line to finally meet your daughter's favourite actor; Tom Hiddleston. You had said no to your daughter at first when she saw an ad for the comic con on your phone. What the world didn't know was that she was Tom Hiddleston's daughter. You remembered the night it happened as if it was yesterday but you had never told anyone, especially not upon the that she looked exactly like him.
"Remember, darling," you began as you got closer to the front of the line for Tom's booth, “daddy doesn’t know you so you can’t say anything to him about him being your daddy, ok? My brave and sweet girl, I love you so much.”
You kissed her head and soon, finally, it was your turn to talk to Tom, “hello,” you smiled at him, placing down a photo of 2011 Loki, “would you mind signing this for us? Little Ester would love it if you sign it.”
Ester took a peek at her daddy and she wanted nothing more than to reach out of your arms to hug her daddy. Instead, she meekly mumbled, “hello Mr Woki.”
“Awww,” Tom coed, watching Ester with a small smile playing on his lips, “she’s adorable! How old are you, little one? You look like such a big girl!”
Ester hesitantly looked up at you and when she saw that you nodded, she held up three fingers to show her age as she had recently learned to do.
“You’ll have to forgive her,” you smiled as you pressed a kiss to her forehead, “Loki is very important to her and to meet you is a dream come true for her,” you took the picture back after Tom sighed it and then smiled wider, “would you… would you like to hold her? Just so I can take a photo, that is! She would love it printed out and hung on her wall.”
“Oh, of course!” Tom grinned and got up from his seat to walk over to you and Ester. Gently, he took her from your arms and smiled lovingly at her, “hey, little one! Would you like a photo?”
As he observed Ester, he noticed certain aspects of her face that resembled his own. Curiously, he turned to you, “have I… uh… have I seen you before? You look very familiar.”
Your heart froze in your chest at the question but you quickly shook your head and smiled, “I don’t think you would remember if you did, Tom! There was a party almost four years ago and it involved a lot of alcohol so I barely remember it,” you lied seamlessly and shrugged your shoulders, “there were many actors and actresses there, maybe you just saw me walking by?”
As you smiled, your mind threw you back to that night.
You were sitting at the bar of your local pub, drinking your favourite drink when someone came up behind you and brushed his hand across your back as he brushed past you to get to the bar, mumbling a quiet ‘pardon me’.
You smiled at the man as he stood at the bar beside you and you swirled your finger on the top of your glass, gazing up at him with your eyelashes fluttering, "don't be," you replied over the loud music, "not everyday a girl meets a handsome man!"
The man laughed shyly before ordering a drink for himself and then turning to you, bringing the drink to his lips. "And what might be your name, little lady?"
"Y/N," you replied immediately, stepping a little closer to him and smiling up at him. "And," you brought your drink to your lips, "what might yours be?"
The man laughed again and held out his free hand to you with a smile, "my name is Tom, darling, it's a pleasure to meet you."
You downed your drink and then dragged him onto the dance floor, grinning and wrapping one arm around his shoulder and laughing with the music. You ordered more drinks and Tom happily went along with you.
By the end of the night, you were falling into a rented room with him and you found yourself pinned up against a wall with him pressing his body against you.
You gasped in pleasure as Tom pulled you into another sinful kiss, moving his hands to undo the buttons on the back of your short dress and he pulled away to start littering kisses down your neck as you moaned beneath him. He ripped the dress from your body and threw it elsewhere in the room before dropping to his knees and pressing open-mouthed kisses along your legs and thighs before spreading your thighs and starting to devour you.
You screeched from the pleasure and your hand slipped down to gently curl in his dyed black locks and you started to roll your hips against his mouth, your eyebrows scrunching as you felt yourself giving into him very quickly. Lost in the pleasure, you gasped and rested your head against the wall as you delicately whispered, "Tom~"
Tom had never heard his voice being moaned out by such a Goddess before and he moaned as he held your hips in place, his nose pressing against your clit and moving in slow circles as you moaned in bliss as his tongue slipped inside you. Your moans became desperate as you felt yourself nearing your edge.
"T-Tom!" you moaned as your thighs tensed around him, "g-gonna cum!"
"Not yet," Tom growled, pulling away from your pussy and then getting to his feet before guiding you over to the bed.
What snapped you out of your memory was Ester leaning into Tom and smiling up at him, the magic she inherited from you reaching out to Tom and she smiled at his warmth, “wow, you so warm, dada-I mean Woki!”
Ester’s slip up wasn’t missed by Tom and you cringed as he looked down at your daughter in shock, “dada?” he mumbled before looking over at you and realising the connection, “oh my God… Y/N… I knew I recognised you!”
Looking at his security guards, Tom told them that he was taking a break and then he held out his hand to you, “come with me…please?”
You stared at him in shock before frowning and taking his hand, allowing him to lead you into a more private room and you locked it for extra privacy. You turned back to him and watched him cradle Ester in his arms. “I want my baby back,” you began, watching Tom’s face fall immediately, “I knew it was a mistake to come here. Ester begged me and promised me that she would be good.”
Ester clung to Tom as tears fell from her eyes, not understanding why you were being so cold to her daddy. Slowly, she looked up at Tom, “daddy? Can I call you daddy now…? Pwease? You’re my dada, Woki!” she sniffled and looked between Tom and you, “dada…”
Tom frowned as he handed Ester back to you even if she was screaming and trying to cling to Tom, “I… I didn’t know she even existed, Y/N… I’m sorry… I had to leave for filming that morning after our night together… I left a note and everything so you’d be able to call me and we could see each other again.”
“There wasn’t a letter, Tom,” you muttered as you frowned, watching the hopeful light in his eyes die out and you held Ester close to you and pressed a kiss to her temple while rubbing her back, “when I found out that I was pregnant with your baby, I tried to get in touch with your agent but I was constantly turned away! When Ester was born, I tried to send you an envelope with scan photos, a letter and a photo of her in a onesie with Loki’s horns on the belly but the envelope was returned unopened. After that, I gave up.”
Ester didn’t like the line of conversation nor how sad you sounded so she decided to butt in, “mama! Want dada hugs, pwease!”
Tom walked closer and gently kissed Ester’s head, “I was never told about any of those things. My agent might have thought you were a fan trying to get something out of it… I’m so sorry. Please, let me make it up to you. For you, for Ester.”
“Make it up to me? You left that morning… I waited for five hours for you. I felt ridiculous,” you sighed and returned Ester back into his arms, “but I know that my daughter will want to spend time with you and I would be terrible to deny her that… Tom… are you staying this time? Please? Now that Ester knows you, it would break her to lose you.”
“I never even wanted to leave in the first place,” Tom whispered before holding Ester close in his arms and rubbing her back as tears dripped from his eyes, making your heart shatter, “I’m sorry, little one… I promise that daddy will make it up to you and do whatever you want, ok?”
Ester enjoyed the arms of her father and gently stroked his cheek, giggling at the slight stubble on the side of his face, “daddy…” she scrunched up her nose and conjured up a cute Loki plush into her hands before offering it up to him, “mummy made this! Said it was my only way to ‘ave you…”
You sniffled and dropped to your knees as you watched Ester and Tom bond with each other, your heart breaking as your mind whirred to thinking about how he would have behaved if he had known Ester all along. “Oh my god,” you whispered, Tom’s ears perking up and he gazed down at you, “I’m so sorry… I’m such a terrible mother!”
“Oh God no!” Tom replied immediately, kneeling in front of you and holding Ester with one hand to hold your chin and lift it so you met his eyes, “you’re not a terrible mother at all, darling. If anyone is terrible then it would be me! I didn’t even know that I had a daughter!! That’s horrible!”
“But that’s my fault,” you sobbed as you watched him holding Ester so perfectly and you then used your magic to make her birth certificate appear in your hands, “she needs her legal daddy, Tom… will you sign? I don’t know if I’m ready to let you be my lover again, but this should be enough for now, right?”
Tom looked at the pen and then at you with a bright smile as he nodded, “I understand completely,” he quickly signed the certificate and then held Ester above his head with a bright smile on his face, “how about after the convention, we go out and have a nice roast dinner? Daddy’s treat!”
Ester screamed happily and kicked her legs as she looked down at her daddy with a cute grin, “I tall!! Taller den daddy!!!” she giggled and then looked over at you with a bright smile, “mummy!! I tall!”
You smiled as you shuffled closer to the pair with a smile, “yes, you’re very tall!” As you watched your daughter, you also felt the need to be closer to Tom, so you shuffled closer to him, “her name is Ester Diana Hiddleston. I thought she might like to be named after her grandma.”
Processing what you had just said, Tom looked over at you in shock with tears forming in his eyes, “you gave her my mother’s name for her middle name…?” Tom smiled and pulled you into a hug, squeezing Ester into the middle of it so she wouldn’t feel left out.
You smiled and blushed as you looked away from him, “it fits her name. She’s a beautiful girl. When she was born, I didn’t believe she had just come out of me… she was a screaming terror, but she was alive, and she was your daughter. I couldn’t love her any less… she’s my beautiful daughter.”
As you spoke, you watched as Ester tiredly yawned and snuggled up to her daddy to finally have her nap.
Tom smiled and rested his head on yours before mumbling, “and I can’t believe that I have a little girl I didn’t know about…” as he looked back at his watch, he sighed and rolled his eyes, “I have to go back to my meet and greet but you can go to my private room with Ester and I will meet you there. There will be snacks, TV, drinks! Anything you might want.”
At the mention of TV, Ester perked up and smiled at Tom, “we watch Woki!! We wait and watch Woki!” she snuggled up to Tom and giggled, “I wove you, dada, are you happy?”
Tom looked at Ester and then at you before nodding his head and kissing Ester’s forehead, “I am more than happy, Ester. You are my entire world.”
Ester grinned and hugged him tight before slipping out of his arms and walking over to you, crawling up your lap to hang her arms around your neck, “we go?”
“Yes, yes,” you smiled, standing up and smiling before watching Tom get to his feet also, “we shall see you later, Tom.”
Meetings between Tom and Ester with your supervision were always the light of your daughter’s day. It was now a month and a half after you and Tom had reunited and you were slowly falling madly in love with the British actor.
He treated Ester perfectly, he helped her improve her speech, read her Shakespeare for bedtime stories despite your complaints, he eagerly talked about Loki when she asked and you enjoyed listening to every moment of their interactions.
Ester was fast asleep tonight and you were nervous whilst sat down with a glass of wine in your hand. You were sat facing Tom with a smile on your face, sipping the wine as you listened to him talking about his new role as Sir Thomas Sharpe in Crimson Peak.
"Wait so that was a real hit?" you asked as you sipped your wine, watching Tom grin and nod eagerly at the tale of being on set with Chris Hemsworth filming Avengers.
He nodded and held up a hand, "I wasn't selling the hit properly! How could I with that helmet on?! So I just told Chris 'just hit me, bro, it'll be fine' and he did and I went down like a sack of potatoes!"
You laughed and leaned closer to him as you smiled, finishing off your wine and whispering a quiet 'thank you' when he refilled his own glass and yours. "How did it feel to be hit by Chris Hemsworth?" you asked with a grin.
"Oh, darling, he really does live up to the name of Thor!" Tom laughed, his smile mesmerising you as you listened to his calming voice, "he apologised when the cut was done but it did hurt like a bitch for a while."
"I should think so! Chris is a strong guy!" You grinned as Tom glared at you with a 'no shit' look and you sipped your wine, unconsciously moving closer to him, "tell me more!"
Tom keenly leaned into you and admired your eye colour as he continued with his stories. With a breath, you realised how close you and Tom had gotten but you didn't want to pull away from him. Slowly, your eyes flicked away from his to land on his lips, his eyes doing the same.
"And have you... have you seen anyone else?" you whispered, Tom's hand on your knee slowly starting to rub comforting circles and he felt you relax.
Shaking his head, Tom smiled at you honestly, clasping your free hand with his own and whispering, "never."
Your heart raced at the admission and you stared at his lips now more than ever and you took a deep breath before pressing your lips to his. Sparks flew instantly and your magic cheered at the contact between the both of you. Tom responded quickly, pulling you closer to him and taking you in more. Unconsciously, you found yourself atop his thigh very quickly and you cupped his cheek on both sides of his cheeks.
You pulled away from his lips and stared down into his ocean blue eyes, smiling as you wiped away a stray bit of short hair, "I forgot you kissed so well," you whispered and he chuckled before pulling you down into another deep kiss.
His hands roamed up your sides and underneath your button-up shirt and you shuddered in pleasure as his hands delved underneath the shirt and massaged the sides of your stomach before they slid further up and he hummed when he felt your exposed breasts, "hm, no bra? That's strangely familiar."
You glared at him before moving closer to him, your legs wrapping around his waist and moaning at the clear erection straining against his pants and you gasped softly as you rolled your hips against his, Tom moaning at the feeling of your shorts rubbing against his crotch.
"I think," Tom breathed, looking up into your needy eyes with a smile of familiarity, "I think we should take this to the bedroom."
You eagerly nodded and showed him the way to the bedroom with your hand clasped in his the whole time, stopping temporarily at Ester's door to listen in to check if she was asleep. Once in the bedroom, you threw off your button-up and shorts and headed over to your bed before watching Tom rip off his shirt and throw it into a corner before getting on top of you.
You both kissed again, his tongue overpowering yours and you moaned into his mouth as your legs wrapped around his waist and you whined when you felt that he was still wearing his pants.
Chuckling, Tom pressed himself closer to you as your hands roamed down his body and you gasped as he pulled away from the kiss to press kisses down your neck. He smirked as he found the spot right below your ear that made shivers cascade down your body and your back arched as your nails dragged down his body, earning a groan from the man on top of you.
You grinned as you pressed your head into the pillow and a bit to the other side to give Tom more space to mark your neck and you grinned as you slipped your hand into his pants to palm his cock and you smirked as he gasped out your name and ground against your hand. You continued your motions as his kisses became hurried and he moved to press kisses along your chest, his cock becoming out of reach as he moved down your body.
As he pressed his body against the bed and continued kissing your body, along the stretch marks that had turned silver through time after your pregnancy. Your magic tingled as your carded your fingers through his hair and you gasped as his mouth made contact with your glistening cunt and he grinned as he remembered exactly how to please you and started rubbing your clit with his nose in slow circles as his tongue entered you and started driving you to the edge.
You took in a deep breath as you stared down at him, falling deep into the carnal thoughts in your mind of him fucking you until you were round with his child again and he moaned as your cunt tightened around his tongue. Electric rose through your body and your eyes rolled as you hummed with pleasure, your fingers tightening in his hair as you rode his face through your orgasm. Smiling shyly at him, you rested against the mattress and sighed happily.
"I missed you," you whispered and Tom smiled as he pulled away from your sensitive cunt to press a kiss to your lips. You moaned at the taste of your cunt on his tongue as he kissed you and you pushed your hips against his with a whine.
Laughing, Tom knew what you wanted and he finally threw away his pants to show you his straining cock and your mouth watered at the sight. Meeting your eyes, Tom raised an eyebrow with a small smile of concern, "are you sure that you want this? We could always stop, darling."
You shook your head quickly and reached up to cup his cheek, "no, Tom, I want you. I want you so bad. You ruined me for all men!"
Tom smirked at that and lined his cock up with your entrance before slowly pushing in and moaning at the feeling of your tight cunt gripping him tightly. "Oh, you feel amazing," Tom whispered, his head dropping into the crook of your neck as he bottomed out and he bit into your neck as he started to thrust shallowly into you.
Keenly, you wrapped your legs around his hips and released a deep moan as you felt him sink deeper into you. Holding him close to you, you felt him start to thrust harder into you and you moaned as your fingers found his blonde curls again, "Tom! Oh, T-Tom!"
Smirking, Tom continued to make love to you and he pulled away from your neck to sit up on his knees and he pulled one of your legs up to wrap over his shoulder and you screamed with the pleasure as he increased the pace of his thrusts and he wanted nothing more than to break character and fuck you as the real him, as Loki, but he felt that it wasn't the right time.
Unbeknownst to him, his seiðr had slipped from the pleasure and his real self was revealed to you. Staring up at him, you were convinced in the throes of pleasure that you had conjured up the illusion yourself. Still, you adapted and gripped the pillow underneath your head as you stared up at him, gasping for air and begging for more before finally, you called out his name, "L-Loki! I'm gonna cum, Loki!"
Tom gasped at the use of his real name and his cock twitched before he started to increase his pace and how hard he was fucking you until your eyes squeezed shut and your breasts bounced from the force of how good he was fucking you. "That's right," he encouraged quickly, his hand slipping to circle your clit as he moaned, "say my name, pet! Scream it!"
Your eyes rolled back into the back of your head as an incredible orgasm ripped through your body and you keened, your hands flying up to bring Loki down into a deep kiss as you rode out your orgasm and he moaned as he came deep inside you, releasing the kiss to press his brow to yours.
"Norns, you're so perfect," Loki whispered after a few moments and you smiled from the praise before feeling him pulling out and you whines at the loss and he cooed easily, "awww don't worry, pet, just going to get us cleaned up."
Tiredly, you nodded and allowed him out of bed to head into the bathroom and moments later, he returned with a damp towel and started to clean up the mess that you both had caused and he smiled at you as he watched lucidity return to your eyes, "back to me, love?"
You hummed and nodded, smiling at him before registering his green eyes and beautiful curly hair. Sitting up, you waved your hand over his face but yet, the illusion did not fade. At the realisation, your hand dropped to your side and you stared at him, "Loki?"
Loki sighed softly and smiled kindly at you, "I can explain," he mumbled before clearing his throat and looking into your eyes, "I displeased my father years ago... he sent me down to Midgard to live out my days as a mortal but there was a flaw in his plan. When I got a trigger that would bring back my memories, they flowed back and I was able to use my seiðr again but I chose not to return to Asgard. Because I met you."
"Me?" you asked uncertainly, trying your best to keep your eyes on his face and not let your eyes slip to his perfectly toned body and he caught your struggle, reaching over to grab your hand and press it to one of his pecs.
"You," he confirmed and smiled at you, unable to keep the smile off his face. Still, he carried on, "you sleeping with me that night after filming wrapped up was what convinced me to stay. I had to see you again and I was determined to find you before going home. Then, I found you and our little girl! Our little girl! Who would have thought!? So perfect! Now I have you both..."
You smiled and nodded, shuffling closer to him and resting your head against his chest as you listened to his heartbeat, "will you stay on Midgard with me? With our daughter?"
Loki instantly nodded, looking down into your desperate eyes with a frown before pressing a tender kiss to your forehead, "it was already decided the moment that I learned Ester was our daughter. The little Goddess that we made together! I will stay."
Tiredness consumed your body after that and you yawned against him as you lazily drew shapes over his chest. Smiling, Loki shifted the position back to laying down and he held you close as you drifted off to sleep.
Long into the night, Loki heard the door open and he looked over into the darkness to see little Ester standing in the crack of the door with her hand glowing, likely to help her across the landing to get to the bedroom. He smiled softly at her, holding out his hand to show that she can come over to him. Shyly, the girl waddled over to him and then took in the sight of the man who had beckoned her over and her eyes lit up.
"Loki!!" the girl squealed and Loki flinched, looking over at you to check if you were still asleep before smiling at Ester and nodding. Grinning, the girl climbed up onto the bed and hugged him, "I have so many qwestions!"
Loki laughed and rubbed her back, "the main one? The main one you're wondering is where daddy is, yes?" he watched her nod and smiled as he shifted back into Tom and then back to Loki. Eagerly, Ester clapped and grinned to him.
"Loki is daddy!" she called out into the quiet room yet by some miracle, you still didn't wake.
Loki nodded and pulled Ester into the middle of the bed after Loki used his seiðr to make sure that you and Loki were dressed in loose t-shirts and pants. Ester comfortably snuggled into Loki's pillow and looked up at him as if he had hung the sun and stars in the sky.
Shyly, she messed with her fingers and did her best puppy eyes, "do magic?"
Loki smiled lovingly at his daughter and held out his hand, fireworks beginning to bloom from his hands and his daughter watched with complete fascination. As her eyes started to droop closed, the fireworks changed to an illusion of a younger version of him and Thor playing with their mother as he sang, "I stormsvarte fjell jeg vandrer alene. Over isbreen tar jeg meg frem I eplehagen står møyen den vene. Og synger: når kommer du hjem? Men trærne de danser. Og fossene stanser. Når hun synger, hun synger. Kom hjem. Men trærne de danser. Og fossene stanser. When she sings she sings come home. When she sings she sings come home"
As the folk song turned lullaby ended, Loki looked down at his now asleep daughter and kissed her head while muttering, "sweet dreams, Ester Diana Lokidottir."

Are you named for anyone? Nope, not really. I have a name I might switch to irl, which is my name here, Lif. So really I just named myself after the human woman who survived Ragnarok by sleeping through it.
When was the last time you cried? Last night at midnight. I had to hold in my sobs so hard, and it was literally just over a character death. It really hits me.
Do you have kids? Does a very needy kitty boy count? I'm on mom duty with him for hours every day, and I lost sleep in high school doing all the mom stuff: feeding him, burping him, giving him medicine, giving him baths, reading to him so he could sleep okay, singing him to sleep (these were all vet recommended, and they helped his temperament a lot [he's mentally ill]). I do want kids someday. Almost had one in 2020. I still think about her, especially as May is coming up, and she was supposed to be born then. I don't bring this up to make anyone sad, or feel pity. It's just, part of my life, you know?
What sports do/have you played? Archery!! I haven't been able to do it since an injury in 2013 (yes, I realize this happened forever ago at this point), but it was fun. I should maybe try getting back into it. The lanes are expensive though, and I would need a lot of good places to sit down in between shooting.
Do you use sarcasm? That I do.
What's the first thing you notice about people? Same as sindar-princeling, I think. Probably the facial expressions. Next I look for something to compliment them on.
What's your eye colour? Really dark brown.
Scary movies or Happy endings? I feel like these are not opposite ends of a spectrum or anything. I want to say happy endings, but my favorite Star Wars movies are the tragedies: Revenge of the Sith, Rogue One, The Siege of Mandalore.
Any talents? Oh heck yes! I can play the clarinet, sing, compose, act, write, cat photography (trust me, it is a talent and a skill), edit pictures, and bake (I'm better than average at decorating though, but still kinda suck at it).
Where were you born? New England, USA.
What are your hobbies? Right now it's mostly reading, watching TV and movies, listening to music, playing video games, and writing.
Do you have any pets? I have 2! A maine coon girl named Alley Cat who will be turning 17 this Saturday! She's so silly, and a sweetie, and just full of love. Sometimes she annoys me because she thinks I'm her littermate (we were kids at the same time). She also still snurgles (suckling while kneading at the same time)!! And she loves food. She’s just so stunning and adorable. And then there's Loki! That's my baby boy. He picked me to be his mommy when I was 15. I've been there for him through almost everything (sadly couldn't be there for a scary hospitalization when I was in college a few states over). He's silly, he's lovable and loves giving love, he loves kissies, he likes to be brushed, he loves making biscuits. He loves playtime, and he loves getting into trouble. I have the best kitties.
How tall are you? 5'4 (I still want to cry about somehow growing an inch in my early twenties)
Favourite subject in school? PHYSICS AND BAND!!!
Dream job? I really don't know anymore. I wanted to be a professional clarinet player, but that couldn't happen, I wanted to be an actor, but that wasn't able to happen, I wanted to be an editor: again, nope. Screenwriter? Maybe? Author? I don't know anymore.
And here are my kitties!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alley is on the left, and Loki is on the right. I forgot to mention that he’s an American Ringtail.

This is not drama. This is prompted by a tweet about someone saying they would write about how MCU!Loki works as a seamless late-autism diagnosis metaphor. But I totally agree! And I am looking forward to their essay.
Whereas the "inter-racial adoption" analogy has a lot of flaws on it, being that MCU Loki is played by a white actor (and other messy optics), the late-autism diagnosis analogy is FUCKING PERFECT. There's also a long tradition of autism analogies being about "different planets", "changelings", and "aliens", which Loki is in cannon.
And I think one of my first posts was a reblog on how he works perfectly as an analogy for the queer neurodivergent experience of feeling like you're unlovable for some elusive reason only you seem to be unaware of. But I am not sure if I should put it here because I am trying not to traumadump.
I know someone who was diagnosed as a toddler for autism but their parents were like "We won't tell them so that they're not hindered and don't feel different." That's basically Loki's whole ordeal.
Because people can somehow tell that you're different and they hate you for it. Your friends are never yours. They're the friends of whoever decided to tolerate you to make you into their little project only to toss you out once they get sick of you.
If you have neurotypical siblings, you constantly get compared to them because, 'Why can't you be like them!?" You feel like they are always expecting the worst from you.
You feel like you are actually a great liar, because you've had to pretend all your life. Everyone makes it clear that they can barely tolerate you. So you play it up to seem amusing and endearing and funny. This even works with Loki's skill set of illusions!
It's just so perfect.

Sever fuck or marry, UK edition with a bonus fourth you can do whatever you want with: Liam Payne, Jamie Dornan, Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
27 / 02 / 2024
ASK ANSWERED
I love how you chosed pictures of them dressed with white briefs 🥵
SERVE, FUCK, MARRY + BONUS
SERVE Liam Payne because he seems really dominant, he is beautiful but i don't think he would be in love with me, and even if he is gorgeous, i don't love him but i worship him.
Tumblr media
I've always wanted to worship Liam Payne, and here is a link about the articles i wrote about him and the stories where he appears :
FUCK : Calvin Harris because he is handsome but not attractive enough to me. To me he is the least attractive but maybe that's because i don't him really much.
MARRY : Jamie Dornan is my husband goal!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You shouldn't have talk about Jamie Dornan, my friend! No I'm gonna explain in detail why i love him so much 😍
Jamie Dornan is in my list of the 10 most handsome men in the World to me, here :
Jamie Dornan is the kind of man who is always handsome, whether in his youth, when he looked a bit like Breton Thwaites, or now, looking more like Armie Hammer. Jamie Dornan, who i think was also a model, is gorgeous but also very talented as an actor, not reduced to his beauty because he played various characters, mainly in historical movies or TV series (and was always great). He corresponds to the European male beauty standards, because his white sometimes tanned skin is luminous, his face is chiseled, his eyes are closed to his eyebrows (it's proved that people considers a man hot if his eyes and eyebrows are closed).
Tumblr media
I love Jamie Dornan as beautiful with or without beard his hairs short or long, but my favorite face on the pic up here is the one from 2015.
Here is an article about some of his many roles, don't hesitate to tell me which is your favorite, or how you discovered this actor. 😁
As many people, i discovered him as Hans Axel von Fersen in Marie-Antoinette (2006). He was sexy but unfortunately he doesn't talk a lot so you can't understand his importance in the Queen's life, so that's not my favorite version of this character. However, i fell in love with the actor when i saw him as the Hunter / Graham Humbert in the tv series Once Upon A Time. 😍
I planned to write about him as I said here :
Tumblr media
BONUS : Be the personal assistant of Tom Hiddleston because he is kind, funny, clever, speaks French very well, would talks with me about very different things, and maybe he would be a boss too kind, but hopefully he would let me massages his shoulders or feet.
He is absolutely gorgeous, more than as Loki. Tom Hiddleston's blue eyes are so hot ❤️
Tumblr media
His role where Tom Hiddleston turns me on the most is as King Henry V of England in the BBC Series The Hollow Crown. He is the stereotype of the medieval King, visually, but he is so passionate, flirty, brave, strong, confident,... I love his hairs color here 😍
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And i would gladly worship Tom Hiddleston's ass, i would be his sycophant asslicker but he would protect me because he trust honest people and i would serve him but sincerely worship him, like not being weird towards him and he would sometimes ask my advises
His butt isn't that bubble but is still yummy! Tom Hiddleston can sit on my face whenever he wants 🥵

Persona Stalker Club Episode 5 "I SEES It! Adachi Edition" Q&A
These were the questions asked about Adachi on the Persona Stalker Club broadcast where Mitsuaki Madono (Adachi's Japanese voice actor) was a guest. I've seen the answers to a couple of them floating around in English before, but not all of them.
Question from "Mochi-filled Cabbage": Good evening, Isomura & Kajita! When I heard about the "I S.E.E.S It! Adachi Edition", I couldn't help myself, and submitted a question. Now, my question is: Why do Dojima and Adachi wear the same red tie? It's weird that the two of them wear a plain, bright red necktie that would stand out like a sore thumb even if they weren't detectives. Was it just a coincidence, or is there a reason for this? Answer: Dojima couldn't stand seeing Adachi wear some old wrinkled worn-out tie, so Dojima gave Adachi one of his spares.
Commentators:
"No wonder Adachi is something of a tsundere"
"Was he wearing the same tie for 10 years before?"
~~~
Question from "Loki": I have a quick question. Adachi's hobby is supposedly "revolver maintenance", but it doesn't seem like he can do things that require dexterity very well, and he's never shown actually maintaining a revolver in the story. Can he really do revolver maintenance? Answer: He does maintenance on model guns he owns at home since he can't take his police-issued revolver home.
Adachi can't take his revolver home because it stays locked up at the station. This is due to citizens stealing them from officers during the 1950s. Additionally, since he's a "plain clothes detective", he wouldn't be able to take his on the field unless he gets permission to bring it along for something specific.
~~~
Question from "Class 2-4": In a particular scene, Adachi whips out a lighter from his pocket. Does he smoke? Answer: Adachi doesn't smoke himself. He keeps a lighter on-hand in case Dojima asks for a light.
Commentators:
"Adachi is like Dojima's slave"
~~~
Question from "Hearing Madono in anime makes me think of Adachi": Adachi always calls the main characters "naive", "dumb kids", and generally looks down on them, but he's quite relaxed when it comes to Dojima, and I don't think he's ever said a bad thing about him. I want to know why Adachi is like that with Dojima. What happened when they first met? Thank you for your time. Answer: One of the reasons why is because when they first met, Dojima got him sushi so Adachi thought he was a good guy.
Commentators:
"[laughter]"
"He's like a dog"
"Dojima must have fed him uni"
~~~
Question from "1st Year in the History of Persona Stalker Club Class": In the story, Adachi buys a lot of cabbage. What did he make with all of that cabbage? (Actually, can Adachi even cook?) Answer: Adachi would cut up a fresh ball of cabbage vertically into large pieces like it's a watermelon, and have it as a beer snack with some miso and mayo.
Madono's simple cabbage recipe: "Shred some cabbage, then shred from seasoned seaweed, and mix them both with sesame oil - easy and tasty."
~~~
Question from "I want to Become a Cabbage": I always love playing Persona games! Adachi, one of the characters in Persona 4, is now a popular character. He's become Persona 4's ratings guy / crowd pleaser. That said, when you were making Persona 4, were you consciously trying to make Adachi a character that wouldn't be hated but rather adored by the players? What is the appeal of Adachi, who, despite being "egocentric" (reference to his P4U2 epitaph), has acquired a loyal fanbase? Answer: During production, we cared about all of the characters, not just Adachi. We're quite pleased to see when a character unexpectedly becomes popular. As for his appeal, that's up to you.
~~~
Insane to me that Dojima found a dog, put a red collar on it, then fed it uni and taught it how to hold a lighter!

One of the things I've been thinking about recently is how most of the things that upset me about The Dark World relate to pacing, and cutting a significant portion of Jane's storyline so that she ends up a damsel in distress for a huge chunk of the movie. It's a massive disservice to the character and the actor, and I remember really empathizing with how frustrated Natalie Portman was when Patty Jenkins was no longer available because she had mostly signed up to do the movies specifically to work with Jenkins.
But I remembered that apart from scrapping the entire original Jane and Thor ending where they break up and also Odin voluntarily leaving Asgard and decides to wander Earth for a while, that they had gone back and added scenes with Loki. I kept thinking that they were more of the banter while attempting to fly Malekith's ship, but it turns out it was two scenes that I can't actually imagine the movie without.
I had some notes saved in a file but I had to figure out where they came from so I actually dug up the original article from 2013.
Here are the excerpts that are relevant to my and probably other Loki fans interests:
[Director Alan] Taylor was very clear to say they were not "reshoots," but "additional photography," he gave some insight into the Marvel process:
"It's my experience with the Marvel process they save a portion of the budget for this and what we were basically doing. A lot of it was getting more Loki stuff, because we realized how successful he was in the movie, so we sort of "Loki-ed it up" a little bit.
"There's a scene that we probably shouldn't identify too much, that's one of the funniest scenes in the movie where Loki's a shapeshifter. That was a very, very late addition. And there's a connective thing at the beginning that bridges from The Avengers story to sort of explain how Loki is in prison or why he is in prison. That was a very, very late addition. That was probably "more Loki is a good thing," but also we decided it was an expositional link that was needed for the audience. So those are two examples of Loki stuff."
Tom Hiddleston further clarified:
"[The bridge scene and morphing] were the only scenes [added], yeah. What does it do, adding scenes? It's interesting, because I had actually always wanted there to be that scene with Odin. I remember saying when I first got the draft of the script, "Shouldn't he have a scene with Odin where you see them lock horns one more time?" So I was very glad to do that and I think it makes more sense of the references to Odin all the way through the film.
"And the morphing scene was just so fun. It was just adding more mischief, more playfulness to the character. His charm is so much of the character and is a facet I love to play. I suppose the challenge of adding stuff later is just trying to capture the same psychological and emotional continuity, because there were many months between... Of course when you're shooting, that's when you're focused solely on that particular job and then once you wrap you go off and get distracted by other things, other projects in your life. So it's having the discipline to shift back into the right gear, but it was worth it."
You definitely want to read the entire article because from a production standpoint, the fact that they were still rewriting well into post-production. like they didn't have a complete script until picture lock which I just can't even imagine. No wonder Idris Elba was so disgusted with the process that he asked specifically to be killed off in the next film. and I know that Christopher Eccleston was very disappointed in the final film because a lot of the material that he shot was cut. and the thing is if you look at all of the excise material, and all of the additional photography, it would be very easy to recut the movie into a significantly better movie in every way.
The deleted scenes with Jane and Odin by the way are not available on any of the home entertainment releases that I've seen. The only place I found them was on YouTube. If I can dig up the links, I will post them next.

Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) managed to escape the Quantum Realm, create new technology, and help take down the biggest threat that the Marvel Cinematic Universe had ever seen. But as "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" inches closer to theaters, it would seem that Thanos, the titan who temporarily wiped out half of existence, was a test run for the selectively diminutive superhero. Enter Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), who we last saw in the Disney+ series "Loki" as the enigmatic He Who Remains. But where that version of Kang was kind of taking it easy, it doesn't appear that the variant Scott is going to meet in "Quantumania" is going to extend the same niceties.
During a press conference that /Film's Jeremy Mathai attended, Majors talked about how he studied Tom Hiddleston during his time on "Loki" not only as an actor but as a character:
"In 'Loki,' I'm dealing with Tom, you know? It was great, He Who Remains and Tom. I got to watch him the whole time. This opportunity came to me in lockdown, and so I studied Tom Hiddleston for hours a day. Then when that was done, I went 'okay Paul Rudd you're up,' you know, and I studied him, I studied him. I studied all his hero colleagues and compatriots."
Going back to Majors' episode, you can see the transformation of how the titular anti-hero started to where he is now. Had the Loki of "The Avengers" met He Who Remains in his element, they probably would have got along swimmingly. The season finale shows an antagonist who has become even more of a chaotic mischief-maker than the God of Mischief himself. For a project like "Quantumania," however, Majors ultimately believes his performance comes down to who he's working with.
Both "Loki" and "Quantumania" present Majors with the task of facing two different heroes. Keeping that in mind, he talks about how the power that comes with playing someone like Kang comes down to how he must first bend his opponent's trust in order to get what he wants:
"The prep really comes down to who my director is and who my hero is. Because as an antagonist, we're following our heroes. You know, in this case, I have a few to kind of look at and break down, which is the fun part. I look at them and I figure out, okay, you can't antagonize somebody if you don't know who they are, if you don't know what's the opposite of them, if you don't know what their hopes and dreams are. My objective is to do that: antagonize in order to get what I need to fulfill my life, my dream."
It would seem that Kang is focusing a lot of his efforts on Scott, but the entire Pym family is trapped there with him. If he can sweet talk Baskin Robbins' golden boy into giving him what he wants, then what's to stop him from whispering into the ear of Hope (Evangeline Lily) or Cassie (Kathryn Newton)? When you watch him in "Loki," Majors is so charismatic that you kind of buy into what he's saying, despite the terrible events that led to their meetup. The only question is whether Ant-Man will be making it out alive to see the destruction he's inadvertently helped cause.
"Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" is set to hit theaters on February 17, 2023.

Valentine's day
The first character that came to my mind when I think of Valentine's Day was Charles Henry Sanson. Have no idea why. No, that's a lie. He loves everyone and is always ready to present himself to anyone. So… he is, in fact, the perfect Valentine's present.
But… MC described his smile as the brightest and most beautiful smile she had ever seen. But… If you look at him more closely, the smile does not reach his eyes. Even a person who is not very good at reading faces will notice that something is off.
Tumblr media
Do you see it too?
So… I decided to combine all the beautiful and very real smiles that I love so much, in order… I don't know… to show how to do it properly. Charles, watch and learn!
Ikemen Sengoku is the richest for the real smiles. Almost all the characters smile so sweetly and tenderly that it is very difficult not to fall for them. Not my favorite, but undoubtedly an extremely beautiful Ranmaru's smile.
Tumblr media
Keiji looks so good, no matter the expression on his face. I like him more when he lets his hair down… And his real smile is rare, so it warms my heart to see it.
Tumblr media
The rarest smile Kenshin has. And that makes it even more precious.
Tumblr media
And, of course, my favorites… Mitsuhide, Yuki, and the sweetest smile of them all is Ieyasu.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There aren't many smiles in Ikemen Prince that I really like.
The brightest smile has…. Gilbert, of course. He smiles so often that he polished it to perfection.
Tumblr media
Clavis is the cutest, then he has a worried expression on his face. But it still feels like a smile.…
Tumblr media
And my beloved Licht is famous for a smile that appears/disappears at lightning speed. At a drunken event, he let us see it for so long that it seems to good to be true.
Tumblr media
And despite my deep and undying love for Silvio… I don't find his smile sincere. Don't get me wrong… I love it too, but I can't show it to Charles as an example.
Just like the Princes, there aren't many smiles in Ikemen Revolution I really like.
Loki has the most memorable smile. He's a Cheshire cat, of course, he has a beautiful smile. And Harr has the sweetest smile of all. It's still a half smile, but his eyes have such beautiful wrinkles (somewhere behind his bang… I'm sure).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ikemen Villains
I like Liam's smile. It's so sweet. His eyes are still sad, but he looks genuinely happy. Perhaps the fact that he is an actor plays a huge role, but I think it's the perfect smile.
Tumblr media
The rarest and most unexpected is Jude's smile. Someday my heart will burst with happiness looking at him…
Tumblr media
Ellis, my beautiful angel… sometimes his smile is very creepy, but this one seemed sweet and sincere to me.
Tumblr media
And my latest discovery Ikemen Genjiden.
I love Yoichi… I love him more than I should. And most of all, I like the character design. In my eyes, he is so perfect that I didn't understand how to choose another character until I found my second huge obsession (a bit lower).
This is from a recent event. Those eyes are full of adoration and a sweet sincere smile… He's too good.
Tumblr media
And Yoshitsune (at first I called him Zombie… not anymore). The same, from the last event. This sweet smile and the way he looks at me… It's too much…
Tumblr media
I believe there are more, but these two are at the top of my list right now, and I'm not particularly interested in looking at the rest.
And now… the most difficult. I don't like the smiles on Ikemen Vampire. They are either half-smiles (almost everyone, even my beloved Dr. Faust), or very excessive and obviously not sincere (Arthur, Dazai). That's probably why I'm not really fond of this game… Hmmm...
So… here it is… I've given you a lot of examples. Smile properly from now on, Charles! Happy Valentine's Day!
