Batfam Band AU

Here's what I like to think all the Batfamily members (the kids) listen to

Dick Grayson - I think he listens to a lot of Folk/Country music because it was the type of music they played while traveling in the circus. Though, I would like to also think that growing up, he would listen to a lot of Radio Pop to assimilate

Jason Todd - my boy is a theater kid, but I feel like he would also listen to a lot of oldies music, 70s/80s hits, because that's what Cathrine would play around the house. I also think that a lot of his bonding with Dick came from a sharing music tastes together, so he does appreciate Folk and Country music. I also think that Jason will listen to any music anyone puts on and he'll enjoy it. Like, he's not picky, and he's allowed Aux because he knows what type of music everyone likes.

Tim Drake - Indie music. Timbers is a skater boi with depression and anxiety. If he's playing music for other people, like in a car, it'll probably be stuff like The Arctic Monkeys, and the Neighborhood, but if he's alone he's definitely staring at a wall listening to Boygenius, Lizzy McAlpine, and Conan Gray (But he is so Guts, by Olivia Rodrigo coded)

Cass - Rock/Heavy metal, or classical music. there is no in between and I feel like i don't need to explain myself

Stephanie - I feel like her music taste is really similar to Tims, but she's more open about listening to Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, and she probably listens to Lana Del Ray.

Duke - R&B. I'm pretty sure that's the general fandom consensus. Steve Lacy, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, ect. He'll be singing "Die for You" and Bruce immedietely bans the song because Duke is currently the only child to not have died.

Damian - he says he listens to Classical music, but he's really listening to the Steven Universe soundtrack through his earbuds. The only person who knows this is Jason, and then Jason gets him into musical soundtracks.

They all will belt Taylor Swift anytime any day. Especially to bug Bruce

I'm fall in love for @strange-birb drawings, and especially for the secret band AU. I love the style, the outfits and thanks to you I discover a band like Palaye Royale ( I stayed all day to listen their songs).

I'm sorry for my drawing style, and I confess that I was inspired by Ai Yazawa because I don't know how to draw people with guitars (actually I'm terrible in everything oh well…) (then Nana is one of my favorite manga, so maybe there's a reason why I chose her)

The Robins Band AU Lore that nobody asked for

I'm writing a DC Band AU with the Robins and a couple of OCs. Here's lore that I created instead of actually writing.

Wayne Recording Studios was built after Bruce Wayne retired as Batman (DJ or singer idk)

Dick is lead singer

Jason is electric guitar

Tim is bass/keyboard (since he's good with technology he figured out a way to get his keyboard to repeat chords while he plays bass and can also change/add chords into the mix)

Damian is drummer

At one point, they [The Robins] broke up and went solo, though that didn’t last very long

The boys went under their respective superhero names

Dick - Nightwing

Jason Todd because a masked DJ called Red Hood (like Marshmello or Daft Punk) it wasn’t until after they reunited that he announced he was Red Hood

Tim Drake went solo and simple, though he rebranded a few times: Red Robin and Drake. They say his failed solo career was one reason for a reunion. He used a lot of launch pads as well as his repeating chord technique.

Damian actually wasn’t around when they split

Cass joined at some point, coming on as their sound mixer under the name of Black Bat

Broke away and started her own thing under Orphan

Steph started a band, which Cass is apart of, called Spoiler Alert

Babs is stage manager/tech director ofc, though back in the day, she started out with the name Batgirl under the Wayne Recording Studios but went solo for a bit as Oracle.

Duke is new and helps Babs out with stage managing. He guest plays with the Robins as a DJ. Often MCs for shows. Just getting the feel for the music world

Batfam Band AU

In my head this is how I think each of the Batfam members sound when they sing

Dick - I would like to think that he sounds like Noah Kahan, but like... with a hint of Sameer Gadhia (singer of Mind over Matter).

Jason - I don't really know, mainly because I think death and the Lazarus Pit messed up his puberty, so I think he has a pretty deep voice, but he can also hit ridiculously high notes. So like, he'll be singing Frank Sinatra one moment, and then like, Ariana Grande the next. but depending on how high he sings, he starts to sound like a 12 year old, so he tries not to with people who aren't immediate family

Tim - he sound like Conan Gray. Specifically like Conan Gray in the bridge of 'The Cut that Always Bleeds'

Cass - She doesn't sing, but I feel like if she did she would sound like Billie Eilish, or she wouldn't be able to hold a pitch

Stephanie - Gracie Abrams. I think she would sound like Gracie Abrams, but she doesn't like listening to Gracie Abrams because of the little hitching thing she does with her voice.

Duke - He would rather die before letting anyone hear him sing, but he has the voice of a literal angel. It's smooth and like honey and makes you feel all warm, but he will not sing for anyone. He'll hum, but that's it.

Damian - sounds like that one tenor in the school musical who should've gotten the lead in the play, but didn't because the main character is white
