How's life going lately? Pt. 1

Sometime in late April

Oftentimes, I don't share my own pictures because I've got a terrible camera. But I really wanted to share mine, share of bit of my life. This isn't exactly a sum of my past few weeks of having this blog but rather a few good pictures from the past week.

Its been so hot since a few days. I learnt that my end semester exams will be in June. I'm so happy about that. I'm gonna take a long break and probably go travel somewhere in May.

Part II of a lovely Saturday:

• Two glasses of blueberry wine while getting a pot of chicken congee started for my boyfriend (he’s been sick all week, but he loves congee and I load it up with garlic and ginger and bone broth and lots of veggies so it’ll help him feel better faster <3)

• Went back downtown for Wingspan night at the local bookstore (this was the first time in my life that I attended a social event where I didn’t know anyone - by myself - please be proud of me 😭)

• Watched a thunderstorm start rolling in

• Did a little scrapbooking

• Admired the rain

• Assembled a little charcuterie plate for movie night (we watched Nobody ^^)

I’M BACK + MYTHICAL STORY TIME/DAY IN MY LIFE

went to the mall today because i felt nostalgic and i wanted to listen to this rhett and link record. but i don’t have my own turntable so i had to ask the staff to let me test this record player

thankfully they agreed 😁 and this is what it sounds like. i almost cried because this is my first time hearing it on vinyl (i mostly listened to it digitally) and i was so emotional hearing the songs

happy end of june! this month went by so fast, and it’s hard to think that i only have one more month here at home😭😭 ah well, c’est la vie, im sure once i’m back at school i’ll be fine

work has been good! can confidently say i know how to bartend, and will be the official drink maker when with friends>:)

my summer class starts in a little over a week, and im excited to start it! hopefully i don’t overdo it with work and class hehe:,)

some more photos from home! i love the view outside my window<3 the solstice just hit, so days are “getting shorter” but they’re still pretty damn long

How's my life lately? Pt. 2

28th April, 24

Just trying to finish my Organic Chemistry. I've got a 3 hour lecture on Hydrocarbons to cover. And ITS SO HOT nowadays. I really wanna visit a water park. Perhaps I should, this May. My exam is on next Sunday. And I'm definitely not as confident as I should be. I have worked hard but I'm afraid that loosing confidence in the last few weeks is gonna mess everything up. But I'm hoping my hopes are gonna stay high for the next week. I'm gonna do my best to trust myself and believe in myself, I'm gonna do the best to not stay rotting in my comfort zone. And I'm sure I'll do good. I'm sure I'll do amazing. Lets take the risk of giving my best and letting the universe decide where it wants to take me.

I'm very excited about my after exam plans though. I'm very sure my mumma is gonna put to work somehow (I've been getting a lot of my work done by my parents since it takes time) after my exams but i'll find some time for myself. I've decided to get a haircut (finally) on 6th and I'm planning on inviting my cousin over at 5th and going for a morning walk the next morning. I'm also planning on going to Delhi to meet my brother. I've got so much fun to have. I'm excited.
