CHWHWN: 31. December - " an ear / advice "
It was quite late already and Izuku was struggling with unknown amounts of cloth, wrapped in layers, and time was running out in the narrow space of the bathroom.
"Ready?" Kacchan's voice sounded muffled through the raffia of the bathroom door and still, Izuku flinched. He was nervous. On a scale of 1-10, an honest 100. Never before had he had such high quality material on his body as he did at this moment. On top of that, he smelled exactly like Kacchan. His sleeves, his collar, everything.
"In a minute!" he squeaked back, trying to tie the knot the way Masaru had shown him yesterday - when impatience in person pushed open the bathroom door and Izuku's head shot up - and his breath caught in his throat.
"What's taking so long - what?" hissed Katsuki and stopped in the doorway when he saw Izuku's expression. Izuku blinked, momentarily awestruck. He knew Kacchan in his hero costume. In a suit. In sports clothes or swimming trunks. But the sight of his body in that sleek, handsome look left him speechless. He recognized the same handwriting in the design of the fabric, the thin orange-red seams, the silver accents and the detailed embroidery. Only the cranes had given way to delicate explosions and aesthetic fire patterns. They did something to Katsuki's eyes that made a warm wave of affection slosh around in Izuku's stomach. Two small black hairclips were stuck into the blond strands behind his ears.
"What's wrong? Is there shit on my face?"
Only when he raised his head, did he see Izuku shaking his head, also dressed in velvet and silk, with a belt that was completely twisted.
"Incompetent as always, huh?"
He stepped into the bathroom, inevitably in Izuku's comfort zone, and reached around him to twist the belt properly.
"Kacchan," Izuku breathed against his shoulder, bending back enough to face him again and whispering under his breath, "You're gorgeous."
Time froze, as did Katsuki's hands on Izuku's hips.
The bathroom was small and Izuku's eyes unintentionally wandered to the mirror next to them.
His cheeks immediately flushed when he got the split-second image that the hands on his belt and his bent posture could also stand for something else entirely. It looked as if Kacchan was only centimeters away from kissing him.
But as if he had heard his thoughts, Kacchan only pulled hard on the belt once, inadvertently bringing Izuku a step closer to him, before he expertly rewound the knot and stepped back.
Unseen steam shot out of Izuku's green curls as Katsuki also brought the rest of the kimono into place.
"I-"
"Is it true that you didn't want to go to the shrine this year?"
Katsuki furrowed his brow, distracted from his original thought, and backed away slightly.
"Hm," he muttered and Izuku also took a step back until he bumped into the sink, "Why?"
"Since I drew the first horoscope, it always came true within one year."
Izuku raised his eyebrows, baffled by the thought that Kacchan actually believed in things like horoscopes or New Year's oracles.
"Really?"
He didn't know much about such things. Neither he nor his mother had ever drawn oracles. If he was honest, he had too much respect for them, or maybe he was afraid of drawing something bad. So he had kept his hands off from the beginning. He and his mother had been content to say their prayers, leave a small donation, and then stroll through the crowds after dropping off their elderly companion on a park bench with a hot drink.
"Yes."
Kacchan held the door open for him and they walked down the dark hallway side by side.
"But not the last one?" he questioned, slipping on his shoes.
On the lamp-lit porch, Katsuki hesitated for a moment and pulled a crumpled piece of paper from a deep pocket of his kimono, holding it up to the light with a pout.
"No," he said quietly, "and I didn't want to get a new one while I still had this one."
The note was folded several times making it impossible to read what it said, so Izuku asked, "What does it say?"
Instead of answering, Katsuki tapped the note on the tip of his nose and put it away.
"None of your business."
But Izuku, gripped by curiosity, couldn't help but ask further: "But – but we're going? Has something changed? Has it finally come true?"
The wind came up and made a small wind chime sound in the neighbors' garden. The air already smelled of candles and the sweet smells of the New Year.
A car horn broke the peaceful atmosphere and Izuku spun around with one hand raised in a small wave and jumped down the next three steps at once. It seemed as if Mitsuki's patience had run out. Katsuki caught up with him immediately, footsteps crunching in the snow as he replied cryptically, "Feels like it, yeah."
They made it to the car, and even though Izuku was still full of questions, Kacchan was immediately wrapped up in a fiery conversation with his mother, so Izuku began to wonder about the oracle. And the small piece of paper he had in his breast pocket. The last piece of the calendar, the 24th. It weighed what felt like 170 kilos and was placed right above his heart.
Today was New Year's Eve.
At midnight, the 24th would burn if Kacchan wouldn't do something. And that was in just over two hours.
The way was long even by car. There were countless people on the streets and they were forced to park the car a little further down the mountain and take the steep path to the shrine on the hill with everyone else. No problem for Izuku nor Katsuki, but strangely enough, about halfway up, a problem for his parents' stamina.
"We'll go up ahead," their son announced harshly before grabbing Izuku's elbow and leading him further to the side, onto the uneven part of the road where they could make faster progress. He was obviously in a hurry, so no one objected. Izuku turned for a last wave and noticed Mitsuki's impish smile.
She wasn't out of breath at all.
Arriving at the top of the shrine, time flew by as quickly as dozens of beaming faces and Izuku almost bit his tongue to keep from asking for the two remaining notes when he realized that the new year would start in less than an hour.
They had been at the altar, had knelt down to pray and Izuku had picked up an oracle that he would not open until the old year was finally over. Which was precisely the reason why he was getting more and more antsy.
But then: "Deku".
Suddenly, he was pulled away from the street, up two small wooden stairs to an empty place with several small lanterns, and Katsuki took off his thin gloves and blew warm air into his fingers. Then he pulled something out of his pocket and lifted it into the warm light. It was even smaller than the folded oracle note, but Izuku only realized what was going on when he heard the words "an ear" being read aloud. Kacchan did it. He used the first of the two remaining notes. To the sound of the shrine chimes. Over the murmur of prayers. NOW. BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR.
"God. …fuck. Fuck." Izuku was still struggling with where to put himself or his hands or his thoughts in general as he watched Kacchan who was obviously struggling with himself.
"I'm 10 seconds away from chickening out," he finally admitted, his lips pressed together.
"You would never do that," Izuku replied immediately, terribly nervous at the thought that Kacchan would actually open the last notes. He had expected it. But somehow, he did not.
"No. No, not really. But I .... fuck." And then he chuckled weakly and pushed a hand deep into his hair.
"Okay. I interpret that," Katsuki waved the note in front of Izuku's nose until his eyes crossed briefly, "to mean that I can tell you something that stays between us. Right?"
Izuku's heart melted into a heart-shaped puddle when he saw the vulnerability in Kacchan's eyes. His eyebrows had knitted together, the tiny wrinkle of worry between them that he saw less often these days than All-Might in his filled shape.
He felt like he'd been dumped on a beach seconds before a tsunami was about to crash in and tear him apart.  His ears tingled. He could feel the thin line between them more clearly than ever, for they were seconds away from crossing it or breaking apart.
"Yes," he nodded, unable to take his eyes off Katsuki for even a blink, "but I - "
"How much longer do I have?"
"What?"
"Until midnight, Izuku. Until New Year."
"Oh - no idea?" he replied hastily, "30 seconds?"
"Okay, listen carefully. I'm only going to say this once," Katsuki raised his head to the sky, pursed his lips and crumpled the note into a fist before he whispered to the clouds, "I have a serious thing for... that boy."
Izuku watched as Kacchan swallowed hard, his eyes still on the sky, "A cute one, with ... ugh. Green hair. Freckles. Shitty style... the loser who made me a calander this year, and fuck if that wasn't the bravest shit ever."
Izuku stared at him, mouth agape, as if Katsuki was the most precious creature in the universe. Snow blew into his mouth. He didn't notice.
Somewhere in the distance, the last, loudest chimes of the year began, and Katsuki almost let the second note slip from his fingers as he tried to smooth it out: "So, um, yeah. Advice, Deku. How do I ask him out?"
"Ugh," Izuku trembled as goose bumps spread all over his body as he too pulled out the last piece of paper and held it out to Katsuki, "You should check out 24."
He could feel his heart beating in his throat when Kacchan just stood there for a long time without moving. But eventually, he took the paper and carefully unfolded it.
Izuku sent his last prayer of the year while Katsuki took a deep breath.
"Please ignore it if you feel uncomfortable," Katsuki read, "But I'd like to give you a -" he unrolled the paper even more and continued reading, his voice suddenly cracking and hoarse, "A ... a kiss, if you want one."
People passed around them. The final gong sounded and the crowd began to cheer, while Izuku's entire focus was on the boy in front of him. Again, he did not move. But suddenly, he bit his lower lip so forcefully that Izuku dropped one of his own gloves in shock. Surely, nobody who was happy looked like that?
"Kacchan, oh my God, you don't have to...!"
The first rocket of the new year exploded with colorful sparks above their heads.
"Now."
More explosions crackled through the night sky and Izuku breathed out a soft "What?" in disbelief.
Had he heard wrong? No.
"I want one. Now."
"For the new year?"
"Exactly." Katsuki waved the note excessively, "and I want you to give it to me. Now."
"I never thought we'd get this far," Izuku choked out, tongue heavy and eyes moist with disbelief and hope, "I wanted to woo you with sweetness, but this - I never thought I'd make it - I...?"
They looked at each other.
"You have. If you don't chicken out now. Just like all the other moments before."
"What moments?"
More and more sparklers lit up the snow on the other side of the street and Izuku cast a glance over until Katsuki continued to speak.
"Use your brain, Deku. As soon as I made the slightest move, your signals were so... so damn irritating. Suddenly no answers, running away, lying..."
Well, Izuku had heard enough. Enough of confusing signals and implications. This would be a straightforward matter. Determined, he stepped forward and reached for Kacchan's collar to drag him down a bit. Katsuki immediately followed the demanding yank and their lips met after the tiniest second of hesitation, just as a particularly violent explosion showered them with golden sparks. The tingle of the century shook his whole body, from the top of his head to the cold toes in his red sneakers.
It was perfect. There was nothing more romantic than kissing in the colorful glow of dying sparks.  It took his breath away.
Izuku, totally high, totally overwhelmed, backed away a little when he felt an arm trying to wrap itself around his middle. This was way too close to his dreams. Kacchan would never kiss him, would he? Not on Christmas and especially not on New Year's Eve! There was a tradition that people kissed at midnight, "more," Kacchan's growl interrupted his thoughts. His lips tingled as warm breath slid over them, and Kacchan's cold nose slid along his, and he kissed the corner of his mouth lightly, "one more."
His lips were easily captured, their mouths like freshly activated magnets, and his eyes fell shut in surrender.
"T-take as much as you need," he said between kisses that went that perfect little bit deeper each time.
"I'll take what you want to give."
"Everything then."
Kacchan grinned against his mouth, "Sounds like it all worked out pretty well after all," and slipped his old oracle note into Izuku's fingers as he interlocked their hands and pushed him out of the crowd, into the lantern-lit darkness of the night beside the shrine.
"Won't you get a new one?" breathed Izuku, his other hand deep in the black velvet of Kacchan's kimono collar.
"Nah, got everything I ever wanted."
With that said, he kissed Izuku even harder than before, declaring in his own way, that they were starting their new year with a pretty deep level of connection.

Some Kind of Way (My Hero Academia)
ShinDeku AU
Summary: Shinsou begins to realize he may have feelings for Deku, and it makes him act so out of the ordinary that his crush decides the best way to help him relax is the very thing that kickstarted his feelings in the first place.
A/N: I am so unbelievably excited to finally share this with you! This one has been waiting in the wings for quite a while! Welcome to the first fic in my official ShinDeku AU! This story takes place after the events of "Say Mercy" and creates an entirely new storyline. While these two remain good friends in the Primary Universe, in this AU, things go a little differently.
I will admit this is pretty self-indulgent, but I know I'll want to keep writing for these boys, and what better excuse than to create an alternate reality in which they get together? Cute boyfriends and lots of tickling - what more could you want? I hope you enjoy! <3 <3

Midoriya: Video games at my place! Kaminari and Todoroki are coming – do you wanna join??
Shinsou stared at his phone screen for so long it went dark on him three times. He’d nearly forgotten that at some point he and Deku had exchanged numbers. Their spring break had just started; today was Monday, which meant that Deku’s mom was probably at work right now, as it was just after ten in the morning.
It really shouldn’t have been this hard to reply to a text. Yet here he sat, struggling to do just that.
It’s video games, Shinsou berated himself. You’ve played video games with him before. That’s what you were doing the last time you hung out. Just answer his text!
Shinsou: Yes. I don’t know where you live, though.
Midoriya: I’ll send you the details! Can’t wait!! :D
Shinsou set his phone aside, heart racing. This is ridiculous. What’s happening to me? He rubbed his eyes tiredly, his mind flashing back to the last time he’d hung out with Deku. They’d gotten into a tickle fight, which he’d ultimately won, but there had been a…a moment. When he’d pinned Deku for the last time and ordered him to beg for mercy. The way Deku had screamed the word over and over through hysterical fits of laughter…
He swallowed. It had been so satisfying, but more than that, it had been…cute. No, adorable. Completely, utterly adorable. Deku was adorable. And for the first time, Shinsou was noticing.
He tried not to think about it as he gathered up his things and walked out the door, heading to the destination the green-haired boy had provided him with.
*
Seeing him in person was so much worse.
Deku opened up the door with a bright smile and an invitation to come inside. It was the first time Shinsou had seen him without his school uniform or hero costume on. He wore a bright yellow All Might t-shirt and blue shorts, and he was barefoot. Shinsou awkwardly took his own shoes off in the entryway and followed him into the small living room, where Todoroki was already seated on the floor.
The icy-hot hero raised a hand in greeting. Shinsou nodded at him, then took a seat as well.
“Kaminari should be here any minute,” Deku said, pulling out his phone to check for a text from the blonde. “It’s so cool to finally have friends over at my place! Make yourselves at home. We’ve got juice and soda in the fridge if you want some, and later we can have lunch together, too.” Deku smiled so brightly it lit up the whole block. “Plus I’ll get to introduce you to a racing game that’s not Mario Kart for once!”
Shinsou couldn’t take his eyes off of him. He found himself noticing things more and more. The particular shade of green that his eyes were. The spattering of freckles across his face and arms. How scarred his right arm was. How muscular he was despite his smaller stature. Shinsou noticed all of it, and it made his heart beat faster and faster. Crap, crap, crap, he thought frantically. I…I’ve got a—
Someone knocked on the door, Deku hurried to answer it, and the spell was broken. Shinsou blinked several times. Seriously, what was happening to him?
“Heyyy, it’s my man Shinsou!” Kaminari greeted enthusiastically, slapping him on the back. “And Todoroki, of course. Ready to lose some video games?”
Shinsou let out a sigh of relief, then smirked up at him. “The joke’s on you, Kaminari. Midoriya says we’re not playing Mario Kart.”
“Dude, what?” Kaminari whipped around to face Deku. It was so much easier to look at him with Kaminari in the room as well. “You can’t take my crown away like that!”
Deku grinned. “I’m introducing you to a different racing game. Kacchan and I play it sometimes – Team Sonic Racing!”
“Sonic has a racing game?” Kaminari asked, then hummed. “Well, he is a speedy little guy. I guess it makes sense.”
“Team racing?” Todoroki asked. “What does that mean?”
Deku lit up at the question, then launched into a long, rambling explanation of all the ways it differed from Mario Kart, and why it was superior, as well. After a little while they finally got to the actual playing part of it, and before they knew it, the morning hours were long gone.
*
Getting lost in the world of Team Sonic Racing did wonders for Shinsou’s mind. He was able to focus on something that wasn’t Deku, for once – even if Deku’s character of choice did cause him a lot of trouble during the races. It gave him a chance to calm down, clear his head, and get back to his normal self. At least, until a couple of hours later when it was lunchtime.
Kaminari had announced early on that he had lunch plans with some others from their class, so it was expected that he’d leave after a couple of hours. But it was a surprise to both Shinsou and Deku when Todoroki announced he was also leaving.
“My apologies,” he said, “but I got a text from my sister that asked me to meet her downtown for lunch with her and my brother. I’m…trying to get back in touch with them, as it were. I can’t really do that while I’m at the dorms.”
“That’s okay,” Deku said, sounding sincere. “I understand. Go have fun with your family.” Then he turned to Shinsou. “Do you want to stay, or do you have somewhere to be?”
Shinsou’s heart was racing again. He was about to be alone with Midoriya again.
“I…I can stay,” he said, nodding. “If that’s all right with you.”
“Of course!”
After bidding farewell to their other friends, Deku led Shinsou back into the kitchen and opened up the fridge, pulling out various things they could use to make sandwiches. Shinsou got the bread out of the pantry (after struggling for a few moments to even find the pantry), and soon they were both at work making lunch for themselves.
“How’s your spring break so far?” Deku asked.
“It’s…fine,” Shinsou murmured. He didn’t really have anything exciting to report on. “You?”
“Great! I kind of took it easy this weekend because All Might insisted I actually rest, but we trained together this morning before I invited you over for video games. We’ll train again tomorrow, too.”
Shinsou glanced at him. “It’s spring break.”
“I know, but I don’t want to stop training. I’ve got to work as hard as I can to get even stronger.”
“Rest is important, too, you know.”
Deku smiled. “You sound just like everyone else.”
“Because we’re right.”
“I’m resting more than I’m training this week. Don’t worry, Shinsou. I won’t burn myself out.”
Shinsou nodded. “Good.”
“So,” Deku continued, expertly changing the topic as he finished up his sandwich, “want to play some more after lunch? Or we could watch a movie or something instead. What do you want to do?”
“Um…” Shinsou hesitated. Again that image of Deku laughing and begging entered his mind. He shoved it away. “I…I don’t know. Midoriya,” he added quickly, before he lost his nerve, “why do you want to hang out with me so much?”
Deku went silent for a moment. “Because you’re my friend? And you’re really cool! I think it’s so awesome that you want to join the hero course, and your quirk is so useful, especially with that voice changer thing you have now, and—”
“Useful?” Shinsou turned to look at him, surprised. “No one’s ever called my quirk useful before.”
“Then no one’s really known you before,” Deku replied confidently, taking his first bite of his lunch. “Mmm, this is good! What’d you make?”
Shinsou glanced down at his half-finished sandwich and reached for some lunch meat. “To be determined.”
*
When they’d finished eating and cleaned up the kitchen, Shinsou and Deku went back into the living room, where Team Sonic Racing sat waiting for them on the screen, should they continue to play it.
“Are you okay, Shinsou?” Deku asked, his voice gentler now. “You seem bothered about something.”
Dear god, was he really so easy to read? Shinsou cleared his throat. “No, I’m fine. I’m just…” He searched for the words. How could he explain to Deku that he was pretty sure he had a crush…on Deku? “I’m just…I don’t know. Fine.”
“You know, if you’re not up for video games anymore, we could play a different game,” Deku said. Shinsou glanced up at him, hearing the teasing tone in his voice, and his eyes widened when he saw the green-haired boy wiggling his fingers and smiling wide.
Instant. Blush.
“Uh, I-I mean…I mean, i-if you…want to, then…” Shinsou stammered, hating every word he tripped over. It had never been difficult for him to speak to Midoriya before. Why was it suddenly the hardest thing he’d ever done?
“Actually, maybe we shouldn’t have a tickle fight,” Deku announced even as he lunged for Shinsou and tackled him to the floor. “Maybe I should just tickle you! You really need to relax, Shinsou. You act like I’m about to bite you or something.”
“I d-dohohohohon’t – I cahahahahan’t help it!” he giggled, the light pinches along his sides and ribs enough to help him loosen up a little, but not enough to really make him panic just yet. He fell onto his back on the floor, letting Deku tickle all over his torso, drawing giggle after much-needed giggle out of him.
“You don’t have to be nervous around me,” Deku continued, oblivious to Shinsou’s struggle. “We’re friends! If you want to talk about something, I’m happy to listen.”
Crap, crap, crap! Shinsou brought his hands up to cover his face, growing really, truly flustered now. “I’m sohohohohohohorry, I cahahahahan’t – I cahahahaHAHAHAHAN’T!! NAHAHAHAHAHA!!” The violet-haired boy shot his arms down to try and shove Deku away when he reached his hips, squeezing with a wicked smirk on his face. “AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHOHO!! MIDORYA!!”
“Relax, Shinsou~” Deku teased, swinging a leg over to straddle his friend and pin him more firmly in place, still squeezing his hips. “Sometimes it’s best to just laugh it all out, right?”
“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! GOD, MIHIHIHIHIDORIYA!! NOT THEHEHEHEHERE!!” Shinsou cackled, twisting and writhing on the ground. “YOU KNOHOHOHOHOHOW IT’S BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAD THEHEHEHERE!!”
“Why do you think I’m tickling you there?” Deku laughed, too, finding his hip bones and pressing in deeply. “Tickle, tickle, tickle~”
“DOHOHOHOHOHOHOHON’T!!” Shinsou cried, flustered and embarrassed but also having a lot of fun despite himself. He let out a loud shriek and kicked his legs when Deku focused on that one spot that drove him absolutely crazy. “NAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! MIDORIYAHAHAHAHA!!”
Deku chuckled. “Feeling better? Feeling relaxed yet, Shinsou?”
Shinsou squealed, prying his eyes open just enough to see Deku’s huge smile, his bright eyes, his looming form over him, and the boy from 1-C simply could not take it anymore. “PLEHEHEHEASE!! STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP IT!! MIDORIYA, PLEHEHEHEHEASE!! MERCY!! MERCY MERCY MERCYEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!”
Deku stopped, but didn’t climb off of him. Shinsou gasped for breath and looked up at him, still giggling, surprised to see a tiny blush on the boy’s freckled cheeks. He blinked a few times. “M-Midoriya?”
“I…I’m s-sorry, I, uh…” Deku stammered, blinking as well. His cheeks got even pinker. “Oh! I’ll let you go—”
Shinsou reached up faster than either of them could think and grabbed onto Deku’s arms, stopping him from climbing off just yet. He forced himself to make eye contact with the smaller boy, and when he did, what he saw there gave him the encouragement he needed to finally get this off of his chest.
“Midoriya,” he said quietly, “I think I need to tell you something.”
Deku swallowed. He suddenly seemed nervous, too. “Y-Yeah?”
Shinsou’s heart was pounding against his ribcage. “I…I kind of…like you. Like…you know. That way.”
Deku let out a little gasp in response, but he never broke eye contact. His cheeks went from pink to red. “I…I t-think I like you, too, Shinsou…”
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
Shinsou finally moved to sit up, wrapping an arm around Deku’s back to keep him from falling over as he did so, and when he was upright again the two of them were face-to-face. Shinsou’s eyes flicked all over Deku’s blushing features, from his shining eyes down to his lips and back up again. Then he brought his free hand up to scribble against the smaller boy’s side.
Deku immediately smiled wide, giggling slightly, and Shinsou’s suspicions were confirmed. “Ugh, you’re adorable,” he muttered, pulling him into a bear hug and burying his face in his shoulder. “You know that? Adorable, Midoriya.”
“I-I think you’re cute, too,” Deku stammered, sounding incredibly flustered.
“Only cute?” Shinsou teased, digging his fingertips into the boy’s ribs, feeling him jolt in his arms but holding him tightly all the same. “Wow, and after I just poured my heart out to you.”
“Ahahahahaha nohohohohohoho! I’m sohohohohohorry!” Deku squealed, giggling and squirming but unable to go anywhere or protect himself. He tossed his head back and laughed freely. “You’re adohohohohohorable, too! Plehehehehehease, Shinsou!”
“Too late, Midoriya,” Shinsou replied, grinning into his shoulder, feeling more confident now. He slid one tickling hand down to Deku’s hip and laughed with him when he spasmed so hard they both fell to the floor. “You said I was just cute. Now you’ll have to face the wrath of the tickle monster!”
“Nohohohohohohohoho!” Deku cried, giggling hysterically, but it was obvious to both of them that he didn’t really want any of this to stop, and neither did Shinsou.
So it didn’t.

“Shinsou-san!” Iida called me.
“Yes Iida-kun?”
“Can you give this to Aizawa-sensei? If the Class Rep can’t doing his job, of course the Class Deputy is going to do that right?”
I sighed. Who the hell voted me? I didn’t asked to be voted, why do they vote me? There’s Momo that more responsible, I want to hand this job to her, but I realized this will be good for be a leader experience.

“About-?”
“I just spill Uraraka’s juice!”
“Uraraka’s? Oh shit, you’re really messed up” I replied, while she dragged me into Momo’s room. I saw Momo shaking, and I look at the juice bottle.
Oh, Momo didn’t know where to buy that juice isn’t she?
I touched the juice and the bottle, then the juice is getting inside the bottle, that are floating. After the juices get all in, the bottle is already on the table.
“Thank you, Y/N!” Momo bowed.
“Hey no problem! Quit that bowing shit!”
“I don’t know how to say thanks, so take this!” Momo started to create something. And when its done, she gave me an… ENERGY BAR? She’s really a ‘Class’s Mom’, I wonder why they didn’t chosen her.
“Thanks, Momo” I walked into my dorm room, take a bath, then I get down waiting for dinner.
“Y/N-Chan, what do you think Lunch Rush’s Chef will cook for us?” Asked Izuku
“I dunno, what I know is I’m hungry, and I just wanna eat” I replied
Izuku chuckled, I’m the only girl that he can talk with normally, cuz he always got all flustered with other girls.
*Bruk*
Kaminari accidentally dropped a mug full of hot tea at my lap.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!” I yelled at Kaminari, seriously?
“I’M SORRY!” Kaminari apologized, while he’s trying to clean the mess.
“Huft, no need to clean this, I reverse this thing’s time” I started to see the mug is go to Kaminari’s hand, when the tea is get into the mug, and my baggy pants started to dry.
-After eating-
What a terrible day. I get into my room; I look at my messy room. Ugh, I’mma clean this room. After I cleaned the room, maybe it takes 15-30 Minutes to clean my mess. I was going to sat at my bed and then…
*Kreet*
Katsuki… I hope he wont make me mad, today is the worst, don’t make it even worser. I look at Katsuki, he look bruised here and there.
“Welcome back, How’s training?” I asked.
“Shitty”
“Oh my, you’re bruised here and there!” I started to take a med kit.
“Shut up” He glared.
“What-?”
“I SAID, SHUT THE FUCK UP!” He yelled.
“I only commented! Let me heal y- “He stitched his hand from me.
“Don’t touch me”
I inhaled.
“I’M JUST WORRIED, OKAY? I’M JUST GOING TO HEAL YOU, WHY DID YOU ALWAYS TAKE IT WITH EGO?!” I yelled.
Katsuki glared daggers at me, his eyes widened, explosion started to form.
I’m really pissed and disappointed right now, because of that, tears started to rush down from my eyes.
“Get out, WE ARE OVER!”
Katsuki’s eyes started to look disappointed, why? I don’t know. “Did you just broke up with me?”
“Yea”
“Goodbye…” “Goodbye… Bakugou”
Bakugou stomped away from my room.
Bakugou’s POV
I started to make explosion using my hand, Y/N looked at me with a disappointed look, tears started to form at her eyes. My expression softened.
“Get out, WE ARE OVER!” She yelled.
My eyes widen, my expression hardened.
“Did you just broke up with me?”
“Yea”
“Goodbye…” “Goodbye… Bakugou”
My heart is broken into pieces, even maybe her quirk couldn’t fix it.
I stomped away from her room, little that she know, I started crying after I get out from her room.
I get into my room, there’s Pinky, Earphone, Soy-Face, Dunce-Face, and Shitty Hair.
“We heard you and Shinsou’s yells. So, you two broken up?” Dunce Face spoke up.
“You should’ve known that she has a bad day, she’s a lil grumpy today. Ofc some of us haven’t noticed, because it’s just a little. She couldn’t stop swearing or mumbling under her breath” Earphone added.
“But Bakugou, I’m sure you two will make up again” Soy face assured.
“I don’t think so- “Pinky mumbled. I choose to ignore it
“Bakubro, if you need a shoulder to cry, you have us!” Shitty Hair grinned with his stupid grin.
I walked to him and cries, and the rest of them started to hugging us.
But why it feels like I’m cheating on Y/N? I’m just hugging Shitty Hair; we even didn’t have any romantic relationship…
Izuku’s POV
Broke up? Kacchan and Y/N?
I don’t know I should be happy or sad…
I liked her since childhood…
Flashback
“Are you alright?” I asked to Kacchan.
“DEKUUU!” Kacchan’s face started to redden because of anger, and he explode my face, hopefully he didn’t draws any blood there.
“Kacchan! What the hell is wrong with you?” Y/N ran to me and Kacchan. She used her quirk to heal me.
“Why did you even be friend with a quirkless useless loser like him?!” Kacchan replied.
“A quirkless people isn’t useless! God is create all of this, and all of them is not useless! His dream is to be a hero, but hero is not as simple as have a cool quirk and fight villains! Our parents is our hero, even if their job isn’t a hero! Even if our parents is a villain, they brought us here! To the world! Even if Izuku is just a Quirkless Useless Loser, I rather be friend with him than with a Quirky Mean Bully like you!” She defended me.
Flashback End
She also preventing me from suicide.
Flashback
Kacchan walked away with his gank, there’s only me and Y/N left in the classroom. I stared blankly to the window. I walked and thinking about Kacchan’s ‘advice’. I climbed to stand at the window, my feet is going to step forward but-
“IZUKU DON’T!” Y/N pulled me inside the classroom.
“Why do you care?” I asked.
“You’re my only bestfriend, Izu! If you committed suicide, you’ll leave me here! Don’t, don’t do it just because that Meanie Pomeranian said so!” She cried.
“Sorry” I hugged her.
Flashback End
When she said that I can be a hero to All Might
Flashback
“He can be a hero! C’mon Uncle! If you can, why he can’t?”
“Y/N- “All Might looked at Y/N. Wait, he knew Y/N’s name?
“It’s his dream since childhood you know?!”
Flashback End
Maybe I should visit her now-? Or tomorrow? Maybe tomorrow, she hated when someone came at her when she’s absolutely pissed, the only person she’d let to interacting with her is only Todoroki-kun and Shinsou-kun.
Y/N’s POV
After Bakugou left my room, I jumped to my bed then cried…
*Knock knock*
“Get in” I answered.
I saw Shoto and Hitoshi came in, Hitoshi hugged me.
“It’s okay, you don’t need to question how can I came here.” Hitoshi smiled, I hugged him back. I looked at Shoto, he’s only looked at his hand, then hugged me too.
Shoto’s POV
I heard Y/N and Bakugou argued, they never been like this before. And when I heard Y/N’s sobs, I call Shinsou, even if my room is next to her room, I still can’t make people feels better.
“Hello Shinsou?”
“Oh, it’s you, what happen to Y/N?” Shinsou asked.
“How did you know it’s about her?”
“C’mon, it’s obvious. You wouldn’t need me if it’s not ‘bout Y/N.” He chuckled.
“Bakugou and Y/N broke up, I heard her sobs”
“What!? That rude bastard… Since I first met him in front of your class, I already know that he’s the worst! And when I found out that he’s dating Y/N, I already have a bad feeling!” Shinsou started to cuss. Shinsou is very protective about Y/N, not mentioning that I’m protective either.
“Open the front dorm door” Shinsou said.
“Since when you already there?! Ok wait!” I’m surprised, he’s fast.
I walked too 1st Floor, there I saw Iida and Yaoyorozu looked at the door, looking suspicious.
“Oh Todoroki-kun! I’m glad you’re here! I’m kinda suspicious, someone knocked the door! It’s not normal for Aizawa-sensei too go to our dorm at night!” Iida explained.
“No need to be suspicious, it’s just Shinsou” I replied.
“Shinsou-kun? Oh… Yea I understand”
I opened the door, Shinsou stomped in, ignoring Iida and Yaoyorozu.
Next Day
Y/N’s POV
I use my U.A. Uniform, take my suitcase (Hero Suitcase, y’know, that one if we open the suitcase, there’s the hero costume), and I go to the first floor, waiting for Izuku, Kirishima, Uraraka and Tsu.
“Oi Shinsou!” Kirishima called.
“Yeah?”
“Take this” He gave me an energy bar.
“Woah thanks”
“No problem, we have no time to take breakfast after all” He grinned with a sharky tooth grin.
“Guys let’s go!” Uraraka run at us, followed by Izuku and Tsu.
We have a meeting with heroes, plus Aizawa-sensei, after that Izuku asked something to me.
“Umm… Y/N, I have something to say” Izuku’s face redden immediately.
“Okay, what it’s about?” I asked, confused.
“I heard, you and Kacchan broke up yesterday, I’m sorry! I just wanna tell you that I already have feelings for you since childhood! Please date me! I know, it’s like I’m using the situation, but when I wanna confess to you, Kacchan and you already dating! I know you didn’t like me in that way, but please give me a chance!” Izuku’s face being as red as Kirishima’s hair.
I don’t know what makes me give him a chance…
“Okay Izu, I gave you the chance” I answered.
“Really? Thank you!” Izuku hugged me.
but I didn’t know that Kirishima is watching us.
Izuku grab my hand and walked home, I mean to the dorms.
But when he grab my hand its feels like I’m cheating on Bakugou
Everytime Izuku and I talk, my mind is always thinking about Bakugou… Yea I know… I’m still in love with him but I cant handle his anger anymore, I’m DONE. After saving Eri and U.A. School Festival, I write a song script, and then I take my guitar and stated to sing.
 “It started with a kiss
On our dorm’s couch
2012 was nothing serious
And then we caught the feels
It got really real
Too good to be true
I guess I thought you was, yeah”
I sighed, then continued
“Why did I run away, run away, run away?
Oh, your love was everything, everything, everything
I know it's gettin' late, gettin' late, gettin' late
But can I still be on my way, on my way? Yeah~?”
I sobbed
“I know I said, ‘Goodbye’, and, baby, you said it too…
But when I touch him, I feel like I'm cheating on you
I thought that I'd be better when I found someone new
But when I touch him, I feel like I'm cheating on you”
Katsuki, do you feel this too?
“Baby, now, oh, cheating on you
Baby, now
But when I touch him, I feel like I'm cheating on you”
I stopped, because Izuku opened my door.
“Y/N… you know, I already think about this…” Izuku’s voice sounded sad.
“About?”
“I realized that you still loved Kacchan, and Kacchan is always glanced at you, but not with a hateful expression, but missing someone expression.” Izuku started.
“So, I think we should broke up, I didn’t want to hurt myself more seeing this. I’ll try move on and make you two together” He grinned, but his eyes is not smiling.
“I’m sorry Izuku, I’m sorry for trying to use you as tool to get over my love for Bakugou!” I cried.
“It’s okay Y/N-san, love can’t be forced”
“So, you’re still in love with me huh?” I heard a familiar voice, I looked at the door.
“B-Bakugou?”
“Dumbass” He muttered, than hugged me.
“I’m also still in love with you”
“B-“
“Katsuki, now, we’re dating again, right?”
I nodded. I forgot that Izuku is still here, watching me and Katsuki with a heartbroken look.

interview with Cinema Today Japan, December 2019
(update: here is the link to @hanashimas‘ translation which is more accurate)
talks about Deku and Bakugou’s characters and their attributes
mentions that at the start of the story Bakugou thinks Deku is above him, so he tries to act intimidating and superior to overtake him
(ETA: apparently this is a mistranslation; he actually says that he intended for Bakugou to be a character who was “above” Deku so to speak, who Deku would eventually surpass. he then goes on to talk about his realization that Bakugou could actually have a much more interesting character arc, which of course we have since seen play out.)
mentions that he planned to have Bakugou and Deku improve on two separate vectors as they entered U.A.
mentions Deku vs Kacchan 1 as a turning point where he had some realizations about Bakugou’s character that humanized him for him
mentions that he always knew Bakugou wouldn’t turn evil and “would never lose to the darkness”
says the scene where Katsuki takes Kirishima’s hand at Kamino was bittersweet because it showed Bakugou’s growth, but also showed the ongoing gulf between him and Deku because Deku knew that Katsuki wouldn’t take his hand
mentions that Bakugou still needs to apologize to Deku
says that Kirishima, Kaminari, and Mina are among the easiest characters for him to draw because they take the initiative and get the other characters excited and help pull the story forward
mentions that he always hears Nobu’s voice in his head now when writing Bakugou
talks about the characters being high school kids still, and that when he expanded on their families he was conscious of that -- “I wanted to show that these protagonists are still children after all”

talks about Bakugou’s character development which leads up to that moment
talks about the conclusion of the series, and that all of the characters will come together in the end
interview with all of the past editors of the BnHA manga, March 2021

they talk about the early reception to the manga, and Horikoshi’s reactions
they talk about the individual moments early on when they realized that the series would be “amazing”

interview in the MHA Drawing Smash Exhibition Pamphlet, April 2021
Horikoshi talks about the art in the exhibition and about the process of creating the artwork
he mentions that the piece with Deku rescuing a falling Ochako took the longest to draw
he says the drawing of All Might was the most fun to draw for him
that’s pretty much it, this one is very short lol
interview in Jump GIGA Spring 2021, April 2021
talks about which characters will play an important role in the final act. specifically mentions Hawks, Ochako, Shouji, Shinsou, Monoma, and Sero
“many characters’ actions will converge into a single one, so maybe the best way to say it would be ‘keep an eye on all of them!’“
says that for Hawks’s flashbacks and the Todoroki family’s past, he was influenced by Sion Sono’s works
mentions that the drawing of Deku and Ochako from the MHA Drawing Smash exhibit isn’t directly related to the main story, but that while drawing it he kept in mind how their relationship would develop if he explored it deeper
says he had the final act (or at least the chapter 306 reveal part of it) vaguely planned for a long time, but started to think about the specifics in volume 21 during the Endeavor vs High-End fight
says he’s already decided on the ending, and that “the path to it has been longer than I initially expected, but the main elements that I’ve decided before starting the series are still the same”
Q&A trivia from Vol. W World Heroes’ Mission, August 2021
(and alternate translation by aitaikimochi)
talks about All Might not having many friends among the pro heroes (but says he’s become “slightly attached” to Aizawa since he started teaching at U.A.)
describes what Bakugou, Tsuyu, and Mineta’s rooms look like
talks about Jirou and Momo’s relationship and the kind of things they like to talk about when they hang out together
says that Shouji’s face will eventually be revealed, and that he is “not sure” about Hagakure’s :’)
talks about the types of YouTube videos Shouto watches (pretty insightful answer which is equal parts sweet and sad)
says that Midnight’s classes were the most popular among the students
says U.A.’s robots once rebelled against their creators (lol wtf)
says his three favorite movies are Akira, The Ring, and Spider-Man: Far From Home. he says Akira in particular is his bible
and that’s it for now, but I will update this post with future interviews as they are posted, and if anyone has links to an interview I’ve missed please let me know.

He eventually just got fed up with the constant calls and answered the phone
“What the hell do you want?! Do you realize I’m working?!” Bakugou yelled at them, rolling his eyes.
“Dude you are NOT gonna be working when we show you this video..!” SERO said having a nervous grin
“Hah? What video?! You called me for a stupid ass video?!” Bakugou called out.
“Trust me Bakugou.. you’re gonna find it far from stupid” Mina chimes in, scratching her head

Kirishima
Tumblr media
The poor man was in a interview
ON LIVE TELEVISION
And you gon’ do him like this???
He was in the middle of answering the interviewer’s questions when his phone just started buzzing nonstop
He wanted to look but once again.. ✨live television✨
He had to ignore them until the commercial break but he was glad that nobody could hear it buzzing
After the break came on he hurried to look at his phone quickly
Now to side track I just KNOW this man follow you on tiktok I just know it.
And your notification was on his phone but he ain’t see it and went straight to where Kaminari and Mina were spamming his messages
One of Kaminari’s said
“IDK IF YOU GOT THE NOTIFICATION BUT YOU NEED TO GO ON Y/N’S TIKTOK RN”
Kirishima was L O S T
He read the rest of Kaminari’s messages the went to Mina’s where she was basically saying the same thing
Mina was saying “KIRIII YOUR GIRL GETTING IT ON TIKTOK AND SHE LOOKING FINE TOOO”
Now he was like “hmmm I gotta see this now”
So he closed out of his messages and went on tikitok and when he opened it immediately yours was the first to pop up and it had thousands of likes
He froze at the sight of you.
There you were, in the female version of his hero costume.
Shaking your thicc behind self all up in the screen
Even when you was barely moving everything was jiggling
Manz had to cover his phone and hurry to put it in his pocket when the commercial break was over
He was literally SWEATING while his mini ‘shima was abt to make an appearance in this interview if these ppl ain’t hurry up
He could not focus at all
He was fidgeting all over the place and all he could think of was you in a recreation of his hero costume
He looked EVERYWHERE but at the interviewer so he wouldn’t crack
Best believe when that interview was over than man moved like the he was running for his life
Manz was GONE in the blink of an eye
Them interviewers while so confused when Kirishima was screaming thank you at them while he bolted out the door.

✿M.I- Restrained in the Hospital✶★

Warnings: hand job, exhibitionism?
Words: 1344
Pairing: Midoriya Izuku x FEM!reader
Summary: Izuku’s arms are broken, again, so you jerk him off for him <3
===NSFW/ SUGGESTIVE UNDER THE CUT===
This was bad. No, Izuku wasn't thinking about his limp and broken arms, each wound snugly in a white cast; he was thinking about the raging hard-on he had, unable to do anything to relive the tent under the thin hospital blanket that covered him. And sure, he was pretty embarrassed when the staff had to help him go to the bathroom and an inconvenient boner would pop up, but he was even more embarrassed when he knew AllMight was dropping by soon.
Izuku struggled in the sheets, trying to at least make the bulge look like a crease in the fabric. He desperately thought of boring things that would get him out of this mess. Math homework. All that cleaning with Kacchan. Math homework. Tutoring. Being tutored by you. Uh oh. He just made it worse. Of course his monkey brain would think of you. He remembered one time when you were helping him study, and you really were, up until Izuku couldn't help his stupid hormone crazed body and—
"Hey, Izu-Chan~!" You sauntered your way into his hospital room, bag slung over your shoulder. "Sorry for not telling you I would pop by; you can't really reach your phone... so.."
You analyzed his face as you went to sit down in the chair beside his bed, noting the hot red streaks that adorned his cheeks. His smile was bright as always, but it had a tinge of anxiety in it. No... embarrassment? It was difficult to tell.
"H-how are things?" Izuku asked stiffly, eyes trying to avoid looking at you.
"Same old," you sighed, taking out some chapstick and applying it thickly to your lips, "damm, this weather is making my lips dry."
"Y-yah," Izuku agreed, attempting to make it look like he was watching the birds outside.
You tried to guess what was up with him. Top secret information he was holding? Maybe... but the conveniently placed wrinkle in the fabric of his blanket said otherwise.
"So," you popped your lips together, "how do you keep yourself occupied when you can't use your hands and arms?"
"Uh mostly music, and making brain notes of things I should work on," Izuku attempted to shrug, "but mostly just sleeping, or daydreaming..."
"... about what?" You pressed, trying to sound nonchalant, grazing a finger on a slightly dusted side table.
"Uhm, well... mostly about becoming a h-hero, a-and, well... uh.." Izuku struggled. "And thinking about hanging out with you..."
"Just hanging out?" You teased, scooching your chair a little closer and leaning your head on his hospital bed railing.
"Uhm, y'see, well- I, um," Izuku stuttered. He was so cute trying to come up with a convincing lie. You couldn't help but smile at his awkwardness.
"C'mon, spit it out," you giggle, teasing a hand down to draw circles on his thigh, deathly close to the 'wrinkle' in the fabric.
"... and about having sex with you," he murmured so quietly that you barely heard him. Ah, there it was. The shameful confession. You weren't going to tease him, (that much, anyway), so you just inched your hand closer to where you assumed his dick was.
"W-what are you doing!?" Izuku exclaimed nervously, his mouth forming a wiggly line to keep from yelling even more.
"You're horny right now, Izu," you batted your eyelashes up at him, slowly moving your hand under the covers, "and I'm gonna help you get off. Right here, right now."
"R-really?" He said, awestruck, "I-I mean, no! We'll get caught!"
You rolled your eyes, "the worst they can do is send me out of the building. It's not like they're gonna throw you out of the hospital."
Deku was deep in thought, mumbling the pros and cons of the situation, ".. well she's got a point... hm but— allmight will be here soon... can't have that.... but on the other hand—."
"Izu, baby," you shook him out of his daze, "calm down, ok? If you really don't want me to I don't have to—."
"—no, wait! I really want you to, it's just- I'll be so embarrassed if AllMight comes early and h-he sees what we're doing..." he stuttered, trying to wave his arms about.
"Careful, baby, don't hurt yourself," you stood up, holding his casts still and trailing your hands down to Izuku's chest.
He was frozen to the spot when your hands didn't stop, and continued down to just above where his dick was. His eyes were as wide as disks, and he couldn't peel them off of you when you folded back the pristine white comforter. You could hear his heart monitor speed up a little, and bit your lip. Shit. You had forgotten about that. You decided to ignore it, and continued to pull up his hospital gown to his chest.
"F-fuck," Izuku whimpered once his hard-on was free. "Haven't touched m- myself in s-so long."
"'So long' being like three days," you hummed, wrapping your fingers casually around Izuku's red cock. He whined under your touch, the heart monitor getting quicker. "Hm, better relax a bit, don't want a nurse coming here to check your heart."
"O-oh..." he scrunched up his face and took a few deep breaths.
You knew that his heartbeat quickening was inevitable, so you just hoped the nurse that checked up on Deku would only peak in and immediately leave. You got into a steady rhythm; spreading his pre-cum over the head, and firmly pumping his length. Izuku's eyes were glazed over, not able to peel off of your movements.
Izuku was struggling to contain himself, flexing his legs and biting his lip. He always came pretty fast whenever you were touching him like this, your teasing doe eyes looking up at him. So now that he hadn't given his dick some proper attention for the past three days, he was extra sensitive.
"Y-y/n, please," Izuku huffed out a breath. "Get t-tissues or something r-ready— I'm so close."
"We won't need tissues, baby," you smirked, lowering your mouth to his cock, flattening your tongue against the underside of his glans.
The way Izuku's eyes nearly popped out of his skull made you want to just get on the bed and fuck him. His face was beet red, and you guessed that his blush trailed down his chest as well. His sweet, lewd, moans filled the room as you innocently looked up at him.
"Soon— gonna cum soon," Izuku whimpered, his eyes half lidded. He refused to look away from your enticing mouth, and he didn't want to waste his time with blinking.
"Go on and cum for me, Izu," you pleaded, your tongue lapping at the underside of his glans.
Deku's eyes practically rolled into the back of his head, and he heaved a silent wail as he came into your mouth. Tears formed at the corner of his eyes, and he glanced down at you. Izuku could've sworn that he almost came again just from looking at you as you made a show of swallowing his cum.
"Ah~" Izuku squirmed when you rubbed at the head of his sensitive cock, unable to get away. "Th-the heart monitor, y-y/n-chan."
You glanced at the machine, and then at the door. You smirked when you saw a nurse's blonde hair whip past the door to his room, swiftly ignoring the two of you.
"What about it, Izu~?" You teased, licking off the remainder of his cum.
Deku's whole body shivered once you gave him a last departing kiss, and you tucked him back into place. His face was glowing pink, but he looked a lot more relaxed than he was before. He let you lean down to kiss his lips, wishing his arms weren't broken so he could touch you.
"MIDORIYA, MY BOY," AllMight announced, stepping into the room. He was in his hero costume, as usual, and gave you a bright smile, "oh, hello to you too, young y/n."
"Hi," you waved politely, grabbing your bag. "I'll leave you two to chat."
"O-ok," Izuku whispered, his face flushing deeper. "See ya."

BNHA Chapter 322 Spoiler Analysis: Bakugo’s Growth
Oh my god is this real life?  Am I reading Horikoshi’s AO3 fics?  I don’t drink or do drugs, so yesterday felt like a goddamn fever dream.  An incredible one at that.  Seriously, this might be one of my favorite chapters in the series for Bakugo’s moment alone.  I’m probably going to backtrack that later on if Horikoshi keeps this high quality up, but I’m cool with that.  This series has just been so damn good and it keeps getting better.  So, let’s go:
I’m going to get the smaller stuff out of the way first because I really want to focus on Bakugo’s apology this time because that’s the main course:
I love that Kirishima got something to do and say this chapter.  He was right there on the ground ready to catch Iida and Deku when they fell.  And he’s probably one of the more physically stronger kids in the class + his Hardening so Kirishima was a good choice to have on standby. Also, him realizing that Deku was the kid who tried to save Bakugo from the sludge villain at the beginning of the series was a good callback because Deku inadvertently inspired Kirishima to become the hero he is now.
Thirteen actually shows her face since her helmet was damaged in the war and WOW SHE’S PRETTY 😳 That was not on my bingo card, but I will take it happily!
Then there’s Ochako who grabs Deku’s hand to tell him it’s ok and that he doesn’t have to leave again after he, well, tries to leave again.  It’s really cute and feels like a resolution of some sorts of their feelings for each other.  Not a conclusion, but it feels like Horikoshi is wrapping things up.  I don’t know how deep Horikoshi’s going to go into Ochako and Deku romantically, but I like that it’s told subtlety.  And it looks like the next chapter will have Ochako do something cool, so I’m excited to see that.
THAT UA BARRIER IS MASSIVE DEAR LORD!  And apparently it can do even more than that.  LIKE DOES IT HAVE GUNS TOO?  Hakgakure says it connects to Shiketsu too, so maybe we might see Inasa, Shishikura (Meatball boy), and Camie again.
Also, Hagakure and Aoyama didn’t do anything though during the VS. Deku fight, so take that as you will.
Also Bakugo’s suddenly not featured at the end of the chapter, which is weird.
NOW BAKUGO OH MY GOD:
I really thought that we would have a Deku Vs. Kacchan Part 3 to be honest.  I really thought we would.  But no.  We got an honest-to-god heart-to-heart between these two boys.  And really, this is probably the best way to go about it.  Maybe we’ll get some D VS. K Prt. 3 one day because there might be more to be said, but if this is how their friendship is truly mended, I’m cool with a 2-parter.
So, Bakugo basically lays EVERYTHING out on the table.  How he’s felt like Deku’s always ahead of him, how frustrated he was, how scared he was, how insecure he was, and more beyond the surface.  Ultimately, he apologizes for everything.  He apologizes for over A DECADE of bullying.  He even bows to Deku.  He can barley look at Deku in the eye for the most part.  This is not the same Bakugo from the beginning of the series.  This is Katsuki Bakugo: a young man who took a long, harsh look in the mirror, learned from his flaws, decided to save the kid he bullied, and became a better person all because of it.
Bakugo also tells Deku that even though Deku did nothing wrong in going down this path, Deku needs him and his friends now.  Deku can’t do this on his own anymore.  Bakugo says him and the other will carry the burden with Deku.  Save to Win and Win to Save 😭.
What I find interesting here is that in this part of his speech, Bakugo says that he and everyone else will carry Deku’s burden with him “In order to surpass All Might”.  Bakugo’s ultimate goal has always been to surpass All Might and become the No. 1 Hero.  That’s been established from the very beginning.  And now, Bakugo will surpass All Might with his friends by his side.  That’s growth, my dudes 🧡
Visually, this whole thing is done so beautifully!  Just the way everyone is drawn and the expressions on the other student’s faces are really well done.  Everyone’s either in shock or in awe of what they’re hearing coming out of Bakugo’s mouth.  This is a side Bakugo hasn’t really shown anyone before (besides Deku, of course).  The reaction that spoke most to me is actually Shoto’s 💙.   He gets like 1 panel this chapter, but his face isn’t really in either shock or awe.  It’s kinda unreadable, but I think ultimately it’s like an “I get it” sort of expression.  Because Bakugo and Endeavor are so much alike.  Shoto knows what it’s like to have someone in their life trying to atone for their actions.  He gets it.  Maybe, one day, Endeavor and Shoto can get there too.
This might be my favorite part of the chapter: During Bakugo’s apology, Horikoshi draws Deku and Bakugo as heroes, then kids, then as middle schoolers, then in their UA uniforms, and finally back in their hero costumes.  Each time, Bakugo and Deku are framed face-to-face with Bakugo talking and Deku just staring in disbelief and awe like he’s trying to process what Bakugo’s saying.  It isn’t until the final one when Bakugo and Deku finally meet eye-to-eye and you can see some light come back to Deku’s eyes.  And finally Bakugo bows and apologize, even calling Izuku by name 😭💚🧡  It’s just so beautifully paneled and drawn.  In the span of a few pages, Horikoshi manages to take us through Bakugo and Deku’s childhoods of conflict and insecurity to their heroic selves in present day.  It’s like a quick recap of everything Bakugo and Deku have been through over the course of the series.  Because even though My Hero Academia is ultimately Deku’s story, it’s Bakugo’s story too (which a little Shoto on the side).  This feels like the culmination of their entire relationship and it’ll only get stronger from here too.
Lastly, as Deku is about to apologize for saying “You can’t keep up” because he realized his friends are actually ahead of him, he starts to pass out and BAKUGO RUNS UP TO CATCH HIM AS DEKU FALLS 🧡💚😭  WE DON’T EVEN SEE BAKUGO’S EYES HE JUST SAYS “WE KNOW” LIKE IS BAKUGO CRYING HORIKOSHI PLEASE!!!!!  BAKUDEKU’S HOW WE FEELING??? 💥🥦
But for real, this is as close to a hug between these two as we’re probably going to get.  There’s something so profound about this.  Bakugo has been trying to push Deku away since the beginning.  He even wanted to keep Deku at arm’s length so he can be protected even from Bakugo himself.  And how these two are together again.  No more pushing away.
Honestly, I loved this chapter 10/10!  Peak character development, peak storytelling, peak fucking fiction!  It does feel like we’re coming to a conclusion soon with the series.  Ochako is accepting her feeling towards Deku more, Deku’s coming back to UA where the final battle will most likely take place, and Bakugo and Deku have mended their relationship as far as we know.  Again, I would like to see a Part 3 to their ongoing fights, but I’m cool if this is where their conflict ends.  It was really, really beautiful.  Horikoshi’s writing has been top-notch with Bakugo and Deku.  God, I’m truly going to miss this series when it’s done.
Me thoughtout the entiretly of Bakugo’s Apology:

THE・Rarest Bakugou
Given Bakugou-kun's description as a "juvenile delinquent" (Horikoshi sensei uses the term 不良少年, or furyou shounen, meaning juvenile delinquent boy), it's expected that he wouldn't conform to standard. So obviously, it's not possible to find Bakugou-kun wearing a tie properly................
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What is up with this perfectly tied nonsense right here?!
Bakugou-kun, I thought I knew you!!! THE LIES! THE BETRAYAL!!!
But, it's probably just a fluke. You didn't mean it, right Horikoshi-sensei?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WTF?! WHY?!!! Horikoshi-sensei?!
Yep. Contrary to expectations, Bakugou-kun wearing a tie correctly only ranks at Ultra Rare status: difficult to find, but not impossible.
So, what's rarer than a tie-wearing Bakugou-kun? Go Beyond, Plus Ultra Rare Bakugou!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
In fact, it's even harder to find Bakugou-kun wearing a tie improperly. Given proto-Bakugou's loose tie design, I would have expected that to be the likelier delinquent-esque tie option. But I've only seen Horikoshi-sensei draw him like this once:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Horikoshi-sensei's one year celebration illustration. This is still fairly early in the publication.)
On top of that, Bakugou-kun consistently wears his uniform tie-less and with at least one button undone on his shirt collar. His pants are always slung low on his hips and legs bunching up at his feet (except when he had to wear jeans for Best Jeanist). You can even see panels where Horikoshi-sensei drew in the rips at the hems near the heel where they drag on the ground.
Tumblr media
So why the inconsistency, Horikoshi-sensei? I see you over there, stop pretending you didn't notice. I know you're paying attention.
Horikoshi-sensei gave proto-Bakugou a loosened tie, so what is the reasoning for taking Bakugou-kun's tie away?
Some No-Tie Theories
Fan Theory #1: HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW
//Like Midoriya-kun, Bakugou-kun came from a middle school with gakuran uniforms. They never learned how to tie them. Midoriya-kun messes up his tie, while Bakugou-kun doesn't even bother to try.//
I actually think this is the least likely reason. Bakugou-kun was designed to be a naturally talented genius. I think this applies to anything he wants to do. If he does something, it's always perfectly done.
Bakugou-kun can (and does if you look above) tie it perfectly when necessary.
CONCLUSION: If Bakugou-kun doesn't do something, it's completely out of personal preference or because he doesn't see a reason to.
Fan Theory #2: REBELLIOUS NATURE
//Bakugou-kun is a delinquent and maintains that image because he thinks it looks cool. Or maybe he is rebelling against fashion designer parents. Either way, because of his family background he knows how to tie a tie, but wants to be a rebel.//
I'd give partial points for this one. I'm pretty sure he wears his pants loose at least partially because he thinks it looks cool. However, Bakugou-kun's parents were noted to be designers and not specifically fashion designers.
Despite appearances, this is the kid that sleeps at 8:30pm, doesn't break school rules, and yells at his friends for smoking.
He zips up the collar on his gym track suit all the way. Both the summer and winter versions get the same treatment. He doesn't feel the need to "make a statement" by wearing his track uniform incorrectly. Outside of class, he can and does sometimes wear his track jacket unzipped, but during class he always wears it properly.
So then why does Bakugou-kun refuse to wear the band T-shirt and Christmas party Santa outfit? Because he isn't cooperative. In Ultra Analysis, his Cooperativeness Stat was the lowest rank: E.
CONCLUSION: Bakugou-kun may be non-conformist and uncooperative, but he isn't a rebel.
Fan Theory #3: TRAUMA/PTSD
//This is one of the more popular theories. Between Dabi grabbing his neck, the Sludge Villain and being restrained at the School Festival, our boy has been through the wringer. As a result, he just doesn't like stuff around his neck because it gives him anxiety.//
The Western Fandom is definitely concerned about the mental health of the kids. But I don't actually think this is the reason. Not that I don't think they all need some therapy and self care, especially right now, but there just isn't evidence for this specific trauma in Bakugou-kun.
Tumblr media
He wears scarves and even turtle necks without a problem.
On top of that, Bakugou-kun ALSO unbuttoned the top button of his shirt and gakuran in middle school; even from before the Sludge Villain incident. There isn't any evidence Bakugou-kun changed his dressing habits due to trauma. He wore a scarf to the entrance exam for UA, too.
CONCLUSION: Bakugou-kun has ALWAYS worn his shirts with the top button unbuttoned.
These 3 theories are inadequate, too. Even if they did explain the reasons Bakugou-kun doesn't wear a uniform tie, they don't factor in the reasoning for why he DOES wear his other ties properly sometimes.
HC#1: Bakugou-kun's preference
Bakugou-kun doesn't seem to care about his image and how "extras" see him. Even during the press interviews after his hero debut, he wore the same style of open collar look. He's not shy about being nude or taking his shirt off.
Tumblr media
But what he hates is being uncomfortable.
He is "explosively brawny". Just look at how thick Bakugou-kun's neck is when compared to Midoriya-kun's. It isn't just that Midoriya-kun is supposed to be scrawny, but also that Bakugou-kun has a thicker than average neck.
Bakugou-kun doesn't like to button up his shirts all the way because it's uncomfortable. It's reasonable that he zips his track suit and everything else up because those are looser at the neck or made of stretchier materials.
As for why he doesn't wear the uniform tie at all... Don't forget Bakugou-kun is a perfectionist and a bit of a neat freak.
He always tucks his shirt in. For the band performance he wore a collared black dress shirt. From what we saw of his room, it's minimalist and clean. I don't see him wanting to look like a slob.
A sloppy loose tie would probably irritate him more than just not wearing it (which is even funnier when you think about Midoriya-kun's chonk tie. It probably makes him want to strangle Midoriya-kun, or maybe just tie it himself...)
Bakugou-kun has difficulties compromising when it comes to his high standards. So if he has to wear it, it's going to be either 0% or 100%.
HC#2: Explosiveness
Why draw Bakugou-kun with either 0% tie or 100% tie? If Horikoshi-sensei is going for a delinquent image, wouldn't the 50% tie option make more sense?
Taking a look again at Bakugou-kun's profile page, Horikoshi-sensei describes him to be explosive in every way. That includes his whole body being "explosively brawny", but also adds a note that he looks slender in clothes.
Horikoshi-sensei put an effort to make every element of Bakugou-kun's character in some state of either fully compressed or explosive.
His slimming clothes, general appearance and even his speech patterns are highly compressed (blunt/terse) and loud. The extremes of his attitude are compressed too; if Bakugou-kun is not loudly raging, then he's quietly observing.
This contrast is key to his character. You can't explode if you aren't compressed first. It's supposed to be shocking to see how brawny he actually is under his slenderizing clothes. And I always feel shocked whenever I see this kid compressed into a tie.
HC#3: Deku & Kacchan
These two are set apart from the class by design and very much on purpose. Horikoshi-sensei designed them to be at opposite ends of the same spectrum.
If Bakugou-kun has muscular arms, then Midoriya-kun needs muscular legs. If Midoriya-kun buttons up his shirt all the way to the collar, then Bakugou-kun's collar has to be loose. Their designs reflect their connection.
So if Midoriya-kun has a poorly tied tie, the opposite of that is either non-existant or perfectly tied. If it's perfectly tied, he'd just blend in with the class.
The no-tie option just makes more sense.
Plus Ultra Rare Bakugou
Horikoshi-sensei only ever draws Bakugou-kun with a tie in specific scenarios. Costume events that require the neck tie as part of the costume or "fancy" events where everyone is in formal wear. And even in those, Bakugou-kun manages to not wear his tie 90% of the time.
So, I just imagine that when Horikoshi-sensei makes Bakugou-kun wear his tie, he's super grumpy! Just look at his face in every illustration he's wearing a tie in. He's probably hot, uncomfortable, and really not enjoying himself at all.
Ultimately, the "Plus Ultra Rare Bakugou" is a Bakugou-kun who wears the tie and SMILES while doing it.
Tumblr media
(Yes, I know that's NOT actually a tie. Shut up Bakugou-kun. You're only smirking in this one because you won the Popularity Poll for the 5th time in a row...)
(Well that's random, you say? Welcome to my blog. Considering the stuff going down on canon, I figured I should give fans, and myself, a break from angst to talk about something silly.
Please note that this applies only to the manga. I've found that the anime isn't quite so strict about how Bakugou-kun looks.
Regarding the headcanons, I just want to clarify that everyone is free to think whatever they like. I enjoy all headcanons and support your right to have them.
I wrote this a while ago and then debated posting it because it's such a huge meta about... Bakugou-kun's tie. I had regrets. But now it's become my new years post. Regrets were for 2020, it's already 2021!
Demons out, fortune in!!! I know it's not setsubun for another month, but 2020 was such a demon.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!)

Sick Day
“Good morning, Kacchan!” Izuku said, as he had every morning.  “I brought you coffee!”
“Tch.” came Katsuki’s response, just as he had every morning, snatching the coffee cup out of Izuku’s hand, sipping on it.
Since graduating from U.A., Katsuki had an amazing job, working as a sidekick for an amazing Pro-Hero agency that came with a much higher pay than he had expected.  After debating whether to just go Pro, he thought on it long and hard, finally deciding that perhaps it was better to take this job—he could take it as a learning opportunity, to fight villains, kicking some serious ass and (most importantly) being away from—
“Kacchan, you work here, too?!”
No.  Katsuki thought to himself, looking up at the sky, praying to something he didn’t believe in.  No, please, don’t do this to me. But, sure enough, when Katsuki turned around, he came face to face with Izuku.
This morning was no different than the others: Katsuki walked to the elevator, listening to Izuku ramble on about the police report that was no doubt already sitting on his desk. After a few months, Katsuki realized that he didn’t even have to read it because Izuku would often give him the synopsis, sometimes detailed with sound effects and a rambling commentary.  And because they were spotted together so often, they were portrayed as a duo.
And Katsuki hated it.
“W-w-when I grow up,” a boy told them once on one of their patrols.  “I want to work at your agency!” and Izuku bashfully told the boy how honored he would be to accept him at his agency when he finally got one.  He asked Katsuki for his autograph, but Katsuki grew increasingly angry when one of the kids commented that they were his favorite duo.  “He’s a kid, Kacchan, calm down.”
It was hard to deny it, even for Katsuki: they were a duo.
And Katsuki hated it.
No matter how hard Katsuki tried he could get rid of Izuku, who even walked him home after work, with a quick, “Bye, Kacchan!  See you tomorrow!”
“Whatever, nerd.” Katsuki would say before heading inside.
One day, though, Izuku wasn’t at the agency.  Katsuki entered the building, completely uninterrupted from the entrance to the elevators.  Before pushing the button, he took a look around, waiting to see if Izuku was still in the lobby before calling the elevator.  It was surprisingly quiet in the lobby without Izuku’s voice grating in his ear.  Just before heading up, he poked his head out one last time before deciding to go ahead up.
Maybe he’s actually in the office, he thought to himself, but Izuku wasn’t there either. Katsuki was able to walk to his desk to find that the report was sitting there.  It took some time to get through it by himself, without a summary already prepared for him.
“Kacchan?” someone said, and Katsuki’s ear perked up at hearing his hero name called.  But when it was a measly agency intern, he became incredibly disgruntled.
“Yeah, what do you want?” he asked, the words growling through his teeth.
“Deku isn’t here today. You okay to do your patrol alone?”
Strange, Katsuki thought.  Deku would never miss a day of work… “Is he okay?”
“Dunno, I don’t ask the questions, only give out the orders.”
Katsuki did the patrol alone.  It was so much quieter like the office had been.  Katsuki made it around his area of the city, making sure that he kept an eye out for the perpetrator that was on his desk this morning.  Time ticked slowly by and when lunch finally came, he decided to text the nerd: You alive?
The response wasn’t automatic, but it said: I think I came down with something.
Katsuki rolled his eyes, but quickly finished his lunch before he continued through the city to finish his patrol.
“Where’s Mr. Deku?” he heard a little voice ask behind him.  A tiny, scrawny little boy stood in front of him.  “You’re Mr. Kacchan, right?”
“Yeah, that’s me.” Katsuki said.  He rolled his eyes slightly when the kid looked like he was going to cry.
“You two are a duo, right?” a woman asked.  The thought of that made Katsuki’s blood boil.  But before he could open his mouth to correct her, the woman knelt down to the boy and said, “Go on, give it to him.”
The boy pulled out an envelope from his backpack and handed it over to Katsuki.  Katsuki took it, reading “To My Favorite Heroes” on the back.
“Please make sure that Mr. Deku sees it too, please, Mr. Kacchan, sir.” the boy pleaded.  “It’s for both of you!”
The two of them bowed respectfully as Katsuki mumbled, “Sure thing, kid.” Giving the boy a pat on the head, he continued past them.  When the two were out of sight, he took a snapshot of it and sent it to Izuku: Kid gave this to me and said there’s something in it for the both of us.  If it’s money, it’s mine.
What is it?! the reply read.
Katsuki opened the envelope and was almost surprised.  It was a piece of art with a clipping of a newspaper attached to it.  Katsuki looked at the artwork first, clearly done by the boy. A green stick figure carrying something—a person, maybe?  And an orange stick figure carrying perhaps another person.  The two were running from a brick building that was caught on fire.
Despite the artwork not being too detailed, Katsuki remembered this incident: a villain had been terrorizing the city and an entire building engulfed in flames.
“Worry about the villain if you see him, otherwise, the people in this building are our first priority!” Katsuki barely heard their supervisor yell.  He and Izuku were leagues ahead, the building bursting on one side with flames.  The sounds of people screaming were heard over the roar of the explosion.  Katsuki vividly remembered people jumping out of windows from the higher stories, trying to avoid being burned to death. It was hard to look away as their heads splattered against the pavement, killing them instantly.
“Kacchan, the boy!” Katsuki heard Izuku yell as they approached.  A woman had jumped out of a window, holding onto a little boy in her arms. She accidentally let go of him and he screamed out, putting his arms above his head.
“I got him!” Katsuki yelled back, jumping up off the ground and grabbing him, Katsuki gave himself a slight blast back up into the air and once both feet were firmly planted on the ground, he looked at the tiny boy, checking for any injuries.  He couldn’t see any, despite the outpour of tears flowing from his eyes.  Reminds me of fucking Deku.
“I’m scared.” the boy said, shaking in Katsuki’s arms, holding on to him tightly.
“Don’t be.” Izuku told him, landing next to Katsuki with the woman safely in his arms.  She too had tears in her eyes and clung to Izuku tightly before placing her feet on the ground.  Izuku smiled at the boy in Katsuki’s arms.  “You’re with Kacchan.  He’s the greatest hero in the world.  He’ll make sure you’re safe.”
Katsuki rolled his eyes, but told the boy, “We got you, kid.” and he patted the boy on the head.
After looking at the drawing, Katsuki turned his attention to the newspaper clipping—an article that had captured the incident.  In the picture, Katsuki was walking away from the burning building, clearly yelling something at Izuku, who just smiled behind him.  But the boy that was in Katsuki’s arms, had buried his head in the crook of his neck, arms wrapped tightly around his shoulders.  Some words were circled in the article and Katsuki read: “The young boy, Ryo, was rescued by Sidekicks Kacchan and Deku—both graduated top of their class from the esteemed school of U.A.  They not only made sure everyone was safe, but also took down the person responsible for terrorizing the city.  These two won’t be sidekicks for long.”
As he was stuffing both the drawing and the news article back in the envelope, he noticed something else at the bottom: a memory chip card.  God, I haven’t seen one of these in years.  he thought, pulling it out and looking at it. Deku will probably want to know what’s on it too.
He felt his phone vibrate in his costume and he looked at it to see that he had several unread texts. WELL?!  What is it?  What was in the envelope?  The suspense is killing me!  Was it money?
Katsuki waited until he got back to the agency to respond and when he did, Izuku said: Did you watch the memory card?
Katsuki: No.  I have no way to watch whatever’s on it.
Izuku: I do! Come by my place, we’ll watch it together.
Katsuki: Did you forget that you’re sick?
Dumb Deku, Katsuki thought, smirking to himself.
Izuku: I’ve been on antibiotics for 24 hours, now.  If you’re really that worried about, wear a mask and social distance.
Curious to know what was on the memory card, Katsuki agreed to come over.  When he returned to the agency, he filed a report (about the entire nothingness of what had happened during his patrol that day) and changed out of his costume. Izuku had sent him an address, and Katsuki placed headphones in before heading to Izuku’s.
Izuku lived relatively close to the agency, but it was quite a few blocks away.  Katsuki passed a convenience store and decided to at least pick up some kind of soup, but grew angry at the owner when he offered to give Katsuki the soup for free. “Just take my fucking money!” he yelled, throwing the bills at the man who bowed before him, thanking him for saving his store from robbers before.  “And I don’t want any fucking change!” he yelled as he left.
When he made it to the address Izuku provided, Katsuki had to double check he was in the right place. He was caught off guard by the large skyscraper that towered before him.  Clouds faded Katsuki’s view of the top; the beaming light of the sun reflected off each window.  It was strange that Katsuki had become totally speechless, especially over a piece of architecture, but the person he was here for—there was no way Izuku could afford to live here, even if he made as much as Katsuki.
“Mr. Bakugou?” someone said. Katsuki’s head snapped to see a smiling doorman, who opened the door for him, bowing as he told him, “Mr. Midoriya is in Number 1203.  Elevators are to your left.” Katsuki blinked for a moment but followed his directions, not saying a word as he took a step into the lobby.  Did Deku tell him I was coming?  He figured as much as he entered the elevator, riding it up to the twelfth floor.
The elevator moved quickly. The beeps of each floor echoed against the silver, reflective metal walls.  He put his hand to his breast pocket, making sure that the envelope was still there and exhaled a slow sigh of relief when he felt the memory card. He would’ve been so angry if he had forgotten it back at the agency.
He heard the ding of the twelfth floor.  Realizing he didn’t even know what kind of soup Izuku liked, he wondered if he should give it to him at all.  He stood in front of the door that read Midoriya 12-03.  He watched his hand move and before he could stop himself, he knocked loudly on the door.
“Kacchan!” Izuku said as he opened the door.
Is he actually sick? He looks totally fine!  He expected Izuku’s hair to be crazier than usual, expected his complexion to be blueish pale, expected him to be crawling he was so sick.  But rather, he was totally alert, his hair still it’s normal curly mess, his lightly tanned complexion still splattered with freckles like someone had taken a paintbrush and flicked them onto his face.  The only indication that he was sick was a bright red nose, rubbed raw.  “Is that for me?” he asked, pointing to the bad Katsuki was holding.
“Tch.” Katsuki stepped inside, kicking off his shoes by the door, shoving the bag of food at Izuku. “Thought you were sick.”  Izuku caught the bag and scrambled to pick up his shoes.
Izuku’s apartment was incredibly large, especially for just one person.  He walked down a hallway that led to a small, almost improvised kitchenette that connected to a large living room.  The only thing separating the two was an island that looked as though it didn’t belong—like someone had placed it there.  The apartment looked so Westernized in comparison to Katsuki’s more traditional Japanese apartment.  The windows in this room encased the entire corner of the apartment, stretching from floor to ceiling.   Light streaked into the room, casting shadows against the small coffee table that was in front of Izuku.  A curved television faced a long leather couch that Izuku had propped himself on. But it was the view of the city, outside the apartment, next to the river that Katsuki found the most beautiful.
“I’m still not feeling great, but I should be back at work tomorrow.” he said.  Izuku followed Katsuki’s gaze outside and said, “Those are quirkless windows.  They are meant to not break, despite whatever quirk might be thrown at them.” Katsuki could hear the strain of Izuku’s throat as he chuckled.  “Could probably handle your quirk too.”
Katsuki thought about throwing an explosion, to see if the window really could handle it. But looking out at the city beneath him, he thought against it.  “I’ve used my quirk enough today.” he lied, walking away from the window, closer to the couch where Izuku was laying down.
“I can’t believe I missed Ryo!  I was just thinking about that mission the other day.”
“You remembered his name?” Fucking nerd.
“It was our first missions as sidekicks after graduation.  I wanted to remember it.” Izuku responded.  “Sorry, I just took a round of antibiotics, I’m a little woozy.”
“How the hell can you afford this place?  It’s—,” Katsuki stopped himself before saying the word beautiful, but it really was. Instead, Katsuki sat down on next to Izuku, reaching into his breast pocket to pull out the memory card.
“I used to date the person who owned it, but when we broke up, I kept the apartment.” Izuku told him.
“Were they American?” Katsuki asked, the words leaving his mouth before he could stop them.
Izuku chuckled. “Yeah, uh—,” Izuku took a moment before saying, “Yeah, he was American.”
Katsuki felt the heat of his quirk rage through his body momentarily, but breathed slowly to control it.  The fuck?  “Oh?”
“Oh?” Izuku repeated.
“I mean, yeah, it’s just—,” Katsuki shook his head.  “Hard to see anyone wanting to date you.”
“Be nice, Kacchan.” Izuku faked a cough and said, “I’m sick.”
“Shut the hell up, Deku.” Katsuki grunted, ignoring the stupid grin spread across Izuku’s face. “Do you have the memory card reader set up so we can watch this thing or what?”
Izuku blinked for moment, a little confused and then said, “Oh!  Yeah, there’s an old laptop in the bedroom.” Katsuki awkwardly paused.  His…bedroom?  “Second door on the left.”
Katsuki felt a little strange entering Izuku’s bedroom, but did so nonetheless.  A large bed took up most of the room with two large bookshelves on either side.  Neither one contained any books, but had decorative pieces, most of which Katsuki recognized from their heroic acts together.  Sitting upon a small table in the corner opposite of where Katsuki stood was the laptop and as Katsuki went to grab it, he noticed a picture that was framed on Izuku’s wall: it was from graduation and Izuku and few of their classmates posed cutely for the picture.
Ugh, his damn smile, he thought, and rolling his eyes, he scooped up the laptop.  When he had walked out of the bedroom and back to where Izuku was sitting, he found Izuku propped up, wrapped like a burrito in an All Might blanket.  “What are you doing, nerd?”
“I’m cold.” Izuku told him, sniffling.
“I knew I shouldn’t have come.  You’re gonna get me sick.”
“The doctor said I could still patrol as long as I took it easy—,”
“Deku.” Katsuki said sharply.  “For fuck’s sake, just stay the hell in bed.  I’ll let everyone know what’s going on.”
“Can we at least watch what’s on the memory card?” Izuku pleaded.
Katsuki sighed heavily. “Set it up yourself, I’m fucking starving.” He paused, briefly for a moment before asking, “What’s your favorite kind of soup, Deku?”
Izuku looked up at him, those bright green eyes wide in shock.  His cheeks turned slightly pink and he said, “Oh, um, I’m sure that whatever you picked up is fine, Kacchan.”
Why is he flustered?  “Just answer the question, Deku.”
“Really, I’ll eat whatever.” but when Katsuki glared down at him, Izuku answered, “Ramen,” at last, before adding a quick, “Thanks, Kacchan.” Their eyes didn’t leave each other.  Katsuki cursed himself, but couldn’t look away.  There was something so nostalgic, not just with Izuku, but in general about his eyes.  They were so wide, rarely blinking as they just held the gaze.
It was a few seconds too long for Katsuki’s liking and he was the one who looked away.  He reached into his breast pocket and pulled out the envelope.  “Here’s everything the boy gave me.”  Katsuki was careful not to look back at Izuku as he handed it over.  “I’ll go make you some fucking ramen.”
True to his word, Katsuki got everything started, but not without the occasional shouts of—“Where the hell is a pot?” “Wait here it—no fuck, that’s for the rice cooker.” “DEKU, DO YOU OWN A FUCKING POT?!” “Do you have any bowls?” “This kitchen is so tiny and irrevocably unorganized!”
But the soup was made and Izuku was already sitting down, back to being wrapped in the blanket, waiting patiently at the table that laid out on the floor.  “I connected the laptop to the TV, so we can see what’s actually on it in 4K!”
Fucking nerd. “Here’s your damn soup.”  He placed the bowl in front of Izuku and sat down next to him, slurping down his own bowl of ramen in a few gulps.
Izuku’s eyes widened in shock as he took a few sips of the broth.  “Wow, I almost forgot how good of a cook you were!”
“Tch.” Katsuki said, but looked away as Izuku started the video.
Katsuki taken back to that moment, back to the memory of when the building—it already collapsed, the rumble had muffled out most of the flames.  The video clip came from a local news station and reporters had surrounded the young boy—Deku said his name was Ryo?—who was talking frantically, making sure to not leave out any details including sound effects: “—and then, Mr. Kacchan caught me midair and then BOOM WA-BAM!  and then we were on the ground and then—!”
Behind the boy was a loud explosion from Katsuki, the camera zooming in over the boys loud yells of, “MR. KACCHAN, GET HIM!”  Katsuki and Izuku had jumped up in the air to avoid the villain’s attacks.  The boy then stepped in front of the camera to say, “See?  SEE?! Mr. Kacchan is the greatest hero in the world!” Ryo had repeated the words Katsuki remembered Izuku telling him.
With another jump in the air, Katsuki came down hard on the villain, and with a loud roar, he ignited the sweat on his hands to ensure the villain would never get back up.
“Your quirk is amazing, Kacchan.” Izuku told him softly.
What’s with him? Before Katsuki could open his mouth to ask, Izuku stood up and awkwardly pushed the blanket off of his shoulders. His chest was completely bare.  Katsuki quickly shook his head in confusion, almost a shiver, but couldn’t peel his eyes away.  Katsuki had known Izuku all his life, but he couldn’t deny that Izuku was a man now, his features completely honed, his body sinew and muscled.
“Lights, dim.” Izuku commanded and the lights in the apartment started to fade.
“Lights—do what?” Katsuki asked, but even in the darkened room, Katsuki could see the outline of his thighs, but quickly darted his eyes upwards to the scars that outlined painful memories.  Izuku reached a hand out and gently touched Katsuki’s face with calloused fingers, lifting Katsuki’s chin with a thumb that brushed over his lips, his green eyes locked on to Katsuki’s.
“Use it on me.” Izuku whispered.  His green eyes were soft, but his voice was desperate.
“Use what on you, Deku?”
Before Katsuki got an answer, the darkened vines of black whip escaped from Izuku, wrapping themselves around Katsuki’s waist and pushing him up against the window.  Katsuki braced for the impact, assuming that when he hit the window, he’d go flying through it, but didn’t shatter or even so much as crack. Katsuki’s hands immediately ignited, but Izuku bound his hands together and the explosions were slightly muffled. “DEKU, WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK?”
Izuku’s mouth crashed into his. Katsuki could taste his hunger, feel his eagerness.  Slanting his lips, his tongue prodded Katsuki’s mouth open, demanding more. The kiss was hard and unyielding, but Katsuki didn’t try to stop it.  What’s wrong with me?
Anger sizzled through him as Izuku grabbed the back of Katsuki’s head, pulling him closer with one hand, curling his fingers around the thickness of his hair.  His other hand caressed underneath Katsuki’s shirt, rampantly touching down the sides of his torso, along the Katsuki’s abdomen.   A moan escaped from Katsuki as he imagined Izuku’s naked body underneath of his own, drunk on the thought of his voice screaming out cries of passion as Katsuki thrust himself deeply inside of Izuku.
“Kacchan.” Izuku whispered on his lips, allowing for Katsuki to finally take a breath, peeling away from his fantasy.  The tensile strength of One-for-All’s black whip still had him against the window.  Katsuki’s hands sparked instantly, trying to get Izuku’s black whip off of him, but it was no use—Katsuki let out a few minor explosions, but black whip just held him tighter.
It was too fast for Katsuki and once he had his breath, he told Izuku, “Deku, if you don’t let me down right this fucking second—,” but black whip tightened itself around him.  Izuku’s breath smelled of the soup he’d made earlier.
“The safe word is stop—,”
“Deku.” Katsuki said, very firmly.  “Stop.”
He felt Izuku gently unwind the binds from Katsuki and returned to Izuku.   “I just—,” Izuku started as he wrapped his arms around Katsuki, his hands locking at the small of Katsuki’s back.  Izuku buried his head into Katsuki’s chest.
“We shouldn’t—,” Katsuki started to say, but he was too confused.  His heart was racing and he pulled away from Izuku, staring down at him intently.  He didn’t know what else to say other than a quiet, “Deku.”  The air in the room grew hazy as the gap between them closed. Katsuki’s lips flattened in self-deprecation, but he closed his eyes and waited for Izuku to kiss him once more.
But the kiss never came.  “Kacchan,” Katsuki heard Izuku whisper, Katsuki felt the tip of Izuku’s nose trace his jaw and placed a light kiss on his temple.  “Can I confess something to you?” Katsuki could feel his warmth of his mouth, his lips touching his ear with each word. “Kacchan.”
“Deku, we’ve—we’re—I don’t understand—,” Katsuki said, frustratingly trying to grapple for words.  “We can’t.  We shouldn’t—,”
“I want to feel you, Kacchan.  I have been touched in so long.”
Katsuki shook his head and moved Izuku out of his way. He was leaving this apartment, leaving the agency, leaving Izuku for good.
And then he heard Izuku laugh.  A maniacal sound that Katsuki had never heard before from Izuku.  “Kacchan, you have to hate by now.  I’ve been annoying you for weeks.”  Katsuki could feel the hum of Izuku’s chest throughout his entire body as Izuku spoke the words, almost in a whisper, “On purpose.”
Katsuki felt his blood boil.  Heat, so wild and hot and impatient, ran through his veins. He could feel his quirk beat through his body.  Sweat dripped down his forehead, feeling flushed in the chill air of the apartment.  Izuku was doing that shit on purpose?
Katsuki balefully laughed, throwing his head back, the menacing sounds echoing Izuku’s laugh. “Shit, Deku.” he said.  “You almost made me forget who I was there for a second.” He opened his hands, exposing the sweat he had accumulated in the few minutes of his confusion.  His hands ignited, a small explosion at first to ensure that the apartment could really handle his quirk.  And sure enough, true to Izuku’s word, the room remained unscathed, but Izuku’s had jumped backwards into the pile of smoke Katsuki had made.  “I don’t need a fucking safe word.” Katsuki told him, playfully smirking, licking his teeth.
“Then I won’t stop.”
Dammit, Deku, what are you doing to me?  As the smoke in the room started to clear, Izuku pulled his pants off and threw them onto the floor.  Katsuki couldn’t peel his eyes away from Izuku’s naked body.  Even before Izuku could touch him, Katsuki’s brain became electrified, drunk on the thought of Izuku’s naked body rubbing against his own. Don’t do this, the rational part of his brain tried to convince him, but it was hard to deny that how truly beautiful Izuku was.  Seeing him like this, after all these years—
“I’m going to fucking love riding you.” When Katsuki had realized he’d said that aloud, Izuku grabbed the back of his neck, pulling him in, moaning as their lips fervently found each other.  Katsuki’s heart flickered briefly at the sounds of Izuku’s sighs of pleasure and Katsuki couldn’t pull off his shirt fast enough. Izuku’s tongue was wickedly possessive, probing itself inside of Katsuki’s mouth again.  The explored each other, Katsuki’s hands kneaded Izuku’s bare skin.  He pulled his shirt off, and growling loudly, his mouth found Izuku’s, and he bit down hard on Izuku’s lower lip.  Izuku let out a small cry, then a giggle and Katsuki smiled, feeling the excitement of his quirk pop through his hands against Izuku’s body.  Izuku’s hands were so persuasive, his eyes were so deeply green, like a forest during a heavy storm.  There was something so erotic in them as their bodies molded together and Katsuki couldn’t stop.  It felt like liquid fire had swept through his blood, pounding through his head. Katsuki’s body throbbed for Izuku deeply—it ached for him, needing him, hurting to feel Izuku’s touch.
“Suck me.” Izuku begged and Katsuki obeyed, kissing down his neck, sucking on his skin, and his wet mouth messily bearing down on Izuku’s nipples.  Izuku pulled on Katsuki’s hair and the base of his neck, forcing Katsuki down to his knees. He was weak, complete able to let go. Izuku grabbed the back on his head, gently pushing it forward.  Katsuki’s nose crinkled up as Izuku’s cock touched the back of his throat. Warm saliva dripped out of Katsuki’s mouth and onto his chest as he moved up and down Izuku.  He felt it grow even harder in mouth, choking each time it was thrust down his throat. He felt Izuku’s nails dig into his shoulder with one hand and with the other, Izuku pushed on Katsuki’s head, his cock being pushed further in Katsuki.  Each thrust was harder than the last and occasionally, he’d look up at Izuku, who’s head was thrown backwards, back arching, screaming out inaudible squeals of pleasure.  Katsuki jerked himself, spitting into his hand whenever Izuku let him breathe for a moment before plummeting back into his mouth.
“Let me fuck you.” Katsuki said, more of an instruction than a question.
“Make me.” Izuku tempted.
Smirking, Katsuki heated his hands and let out a few tiny pops on the sides of Izuku’s body, nothing more than a slight shock.
“Kacchan!” Izuku cried out at the small pops and he was knocked onto the floor.  Katsuki wanted him so badly and knowing that Izuku was now vulnerable to him, so irresistible.
Katsuki gestured his head for Izuku to roll over, and pushed his legs. Izuku rolled over onto his stomach and pushed his hips up into the air.  Katsuki could say nothing, not daring to breathe as he looked at Izuku on all fours, his asshole completely exposed, totally vulnerable and submissive in every way.
“Tell me you want it.” Katsuki whispered in Izuku’s ear, biting down on the lobe.  He was so hard now, pulling Izuku’s waist towards his hard cock. He further pulled apart Izuku’s cheeks, kicking his legs open with his knee.  He looked at how tight Izuku’s asshole was, how beautiful his green pubic hairs looked against his pale, freckled skin.  Katsuki spit into his hand, and jerked himself until his hand was easily sliding down the shaft.  Katsuki’s hand ignited and he brought it down on Izuku’s ass, leaving a dark, red mark behind.  “Tell me you fucking want me.” Katsuki begged.
Izuku turned and looked at Katsuki.  Once again, for the second time that evening, their eyes locked.  There was a hunger in this look, a thirst for more.  It was incredibly—
—primitive.  “I want you, Kacchan.”
This is what he truly wanted—all of Izuku, exploring the intimate regions of Izuku’s body with his own, the feeling of when they joined together.  And when Izuku had said those words, Katsuki plummeted into him, thick and heavy.  Katsuki was completely seduced, giving into the deep need in his soul.  It was so warm, the feeling Izuku’s ass encasing itself around his dick.  There was no pause, no second for either of them to catch their breaths as Katsuki drove deeper into him.  He grabbed the back of Izuku’s hair and hoisted him upwards, nearly forcing Izuku to sit in his lap.  Their bodies writhed in pleasure as Izuku pushed back against Katsuki’s dick each time it was driven into him.  He released Izuku from his grip, hearing a loud exhale as Izuku crashed back down onto his hands. He heard Izuku spit into his hands and reach underneath, gently messaging Katsuki’s balls.  Katsuki groaned, feeling the tender touch of Izuku squeezing him, rubbing him.
“Fuck me…please, yes, just like that.” Izuku moaned.  Katsuki needed this.  Katsuki needed this so, so badly.  He tilted his head back, closing his eyes, allowing Izuku’s tight asshole to eat his cock. He listened to the delicious noises it made, the wet clapping sounds of Izuku’s ass bouncing against his pelvis. It was intoxicating, hearing the sounds of Izuku between cries of “More, please, more!” He spread Izuku’s ass cheeks, thrusting himself deeper and deeper, faster and faster, until the entirety of the world started to blur together.
“Kacchan, I’m—fuck, I’m coming!” Izuku cried out.
“Shit, m-me too—Deku—!” Katsuki nudged himself one last time as hard as he possibly could, grabbing Izuku’s hips until he sprayed milky, hot cum into Izuku.
The two collapsed onto the floor next to each other.  They didn’t speak and Katsuki’s mind raced for moment, but managed to silence his loud thoughts of trying to reconcile with what just happened.  Instead, he decided that it did happen and after several minutes, he managed to at least roll over to face Izuku. Izuku’s eyes slowly blinking closed, but he was smiling—a soft, familiar look crept across Izuku’s face.  Katsuki reached out, his hand cupping Izuku’s cheek, rubbing his thumb along Izuku’s jaw.
“Kacchan?” Izuku’s voice trembled.
“Deku.” Katsuki said in between loud breaths.
“Do you hate me?”
Katsuki chuckled, but answered honestly.  “No, Deku.” As he started to sit up, he sneezed loudly, feeling a bit of a scratch in his throat.  “BUT I SWEAR TO GOD, IF YOU GOT ME FUCKING SICK—,”
Izuku giggled.  “Spend the night?”
Katsuki looked over at him.  His cheeks were flushed, sweat beaded down his face.  The sun had mostly set outside.  Katsuki didn’t want to leave.  He wanted to stay here, next to Izuku.
Forever.

~~
Izuku was late again that day, and this time you were more disappointed than mad.
With each student that passed by you and through the gates, you grew more and more irritated. You were trying to hide your annoyed expression by burying it in your phone, scrolling mindlessly through the various apps you had downloaded. Every now and again, you would check through your messages again, double and triple checking that you hadn't somehow missed a text from Izuku.
Every time, there was nothing.
Your brow furrowed when you checked it for the fifth time, forcing you to let out a silent frustrated sigh.
Izu, are you ready to go?
I'm out front
Are you still coming?
Hellloooo??? Where are you???
You promised, Izuku.
All of these messages, and no reply.
This wasn't a new occurrence. Every single day it was like this, and you would oftentimes just go home alone in silence. Izuku would always call and text to apologize to you afterwards, though.
At first you would pick up the phone. But, it slowly became less and less, to eventually nothing at all.
You were angry for a long time, but it all eventually boiled down into a soft, quiet frustration. You wondered to yourself a lot why you even bothered trying anymore. Those thoughts eventually drifted off into memories of middle school, and that quiet, timid, nerdy boy that you made your best friend.
You wondered where that boy went.
You looked up from your phone and looked at the campus around you. The area was bathed in an orange light, giving everything a warm and cozy glow. It was a beautiful spring afternoon, one that you would unfortunately most likely spend alone. Looking back down at your phone, you checked the time. It was getting somewhat late, and you knew your parents would start to worry about you if you didn't head back soon.
Five more minutes. You would give him five more minutes.
Letting out another sigh through your nose, you continued to scroll through your apps, not paying too close attention to what you were seeing. Every other second, you would peer up at the top of the screen, hoping to see the familiar bar of a notification up there.
None ever came.
A handful of photos and news articles later, and you decided to call it a quits. It had been more than five minutes, and there was still no sign of Izuku. Not one single thing.
Fuck it. You were going home.
Clicking your phone to sleep and putting it in your jacket pocket, you squared your backpack on your shoulders and stepped down the stairs of the front entrance, staring ahead at the gate with a blank expression.
Going to U.A. was you and his dream as kids. You remembered how the two of you would draw pictures of your hero costumes together, how you would spend hours of the phone coming up with the ideal schedule the two of you would have and what classes you would take.
Where did all that go? All those late nights? All those days the two of you got bullied? All those times you would tell Bakugou to fuck off when he was mean to Izuku? All the times Izuku told you to be nicer to Kacchan?
Was it all for nothing?
Were you just a memory now?
Were you not good enough to be his friend anymore?
All because of his new quirk?
It's not fair.
Not fair.
Not fair.
Not fai-
"Y/N!" you heard a voice from behind you shout, along with the rapid tapping of shoes against concrete.
It was him.
You stopped in your tracks and turned around, looking at him with a somewhat surprised expression. His green hair was the usual mess, and he was somewhat sweatier than normal. He ran quickly to catch up with you, breathing heavily once he was by your side.
You looked down at him in silence, your face unchanging.
"I'm-I'm so sorry I'm late!" He exclaimed, getting better control over his breathing, "I-I was just taking off my costume after hero training today and one of the teachers wanted to talk to me after and I-"
"It's getting late." You said, cutting him off, "We should get going."
You started to walk towards the gate again, and Izuku stared at you with a somewhat confused expression.
"Right..." he responded quietly, following by your side.
The two of you walked in silence for a good, long while. Izuku would keep looking at you to try and grab your attention, but you ignored him every time. You kept your gaze trained on your feet on the sidewalk, his red shoes in your peripheral.
You didn't want to talk. You just wanted to go home.
Go home and never talk to anyone again.
Izuku tried giving you one of his bright, warm smiles, but you ignored that too. As much as you didn't want to admit it, Izuku didn't smile the same anymore. There was something always behind his smile, something that you couldn't quite figure out.
The two of you used to share everything together, and now he was doing nothing but keeping secrets from you. You were quick to notice this, and you began to do your own digging.
You were observant, you always had been.
What you saw, you knew no one would believe you, though.
You just kept it to yourself, leaving it to rot deep inside you and plant its seeds of bad.
It was eating you alive, and you were angry.
"It's uhh..." Izuku said next to you, "It's a pretty day outside, isn't it?"
You said nothing and just kept staring down at your feet.
"It was a fun day at school too, huh?"
Nothing.
"What class did you like most?" I really liked Mr. Aizawa's today. I like it when he tells stories about his time at U.A."
Nothing.
"I also really liked All Might's cla-"
"Don't."
Izuku was definitely taken aback by your sudden, harsh response, his smile instantly fading away and his brows arching downwards.
"What... (Y/N), wh-what do you mean-"
You stopped walking abruptly, giving Izuku a glare through your lashes.
"Do not mention that man."
Izuku stopped walking too, looking at you with confusion and a touch of shock.
"You mean All Might? (Y/N), why? I thought you loved him as much as I-"
"I don't fucking love him anymore, Izuku!" you snapped, "But how would you know, huh? HOW?"
"(Y/N), what are you saying?"
"Don't play dumb with me, Izuku!" you threw your backpack off your shoulders, the extra weight only adding to your fury, "Even before we got into this shitty fucking school, you've done nothing but fucking blow me off and ignore me! I try to call, you don't answer. I try to text, you don't answer. I go over to your fucking house looking for you, and you're not there either! Do you have any clue how fucking lonely that makes me feel?! Knowing my best friend, my ONLY friend, wants nothing to do with me?!"
Izuku slid off his backpack too, his expression now more worried than anything, "(Y/N), I wasn't trying to ignore you. I-I just-"
"Just what Izuku. Just where have you been, hm? Tell me."
The green haired boy's gaze fell to the ground.
"I... I can't."
You raised your hands up and let them drop to your sides, a laugh of disbelief bubbling out of your throat.
"Fine, I'll finish it for you. You've been hanging out with fucking All Might, haven't you?"
Izuku's gaze shot back up to you, his eyes wide. He opened his mouth to say something, but you cut him off.
"Ah- don't even goddamn try. I know you have been, Izuku. Do you think I'm fucking stupid? Do you think I'm fucking naieve? I fucking see how you two talk to each other. How you have lunch with him every goddamned fucking day. How he always focuses on you during training. How he keeps you after school."
Izuku just simply looked at you in silence, trying to process what to say.
You felt tears welling up in your eyes, but you decided to continue anyway, "And I know, I know he's been putting shit in your head. Not letting you think for yourself, telling you that it's okay to hurt yourself. How it's noble and honorable to be bedridden for fucking weeks to save people. How you should never prioritize yourself. Well goddamn it it's WRONG Izuku! It's fucking wrong! It's wrong to tell a kid that. It's wrong to take him away from his friends. It's wrong to have fucking favorites!"
You were full on crying now, and probably looked completely out of your goddamned mind.
You didn't care.
"He was my hero too, Izuku!" you continued on, hot tears pouring down your face, "But more importantly you were my hero! You were the only person in that shitty fucking middle school that I could confide in. You were the only friend I had, and that fucking bitch took you from me! Every day I go home and beg for my friend to come back to me. I don't give a single fuck what that old man says, I need my friend back! I'm so tired of it! I'm tired of feeling like nothing, like no one wants to be around me anymore! I'm t-tired, I'm... I...."
Unable to keep yourself together anymore, you fell onto your knees and sat back on your ankles, wiping your face on the back of your hands and wrists as you sobbed.
"I just... I miss you, Izuku."
You broke down again after that, crying there on the ground for a good minute. This was probably embarrassing the hell out of you, but you didn't care anymore. You didn't care about anything anymore. You were certain that Izuku would want nothing to do with you anymore. You just both dissed him and his number one idol.
There was no hope for you and him now.
After sitting there for a good minute bawling your eyes out, Izuku gently knelt down in front of you. You could feel his big, green eyes on your face, but you didn't look up at him. From your blurred vision, you couldn't tell how he was looking at you, but you figured it couldn't be good.
You were wrong.
Suddenly and without warning, you felt two strong arms wrap around your fame, your head being pulled into a chest covered with a uniform shirt and tie. Your cries softening, you were quick to realize who they all belonged to.
Izuku.
"(Y/N)," he said, his voice soft but firm, "I didn't know you felt that way. You are my best friend, too. I didn't mean to forget about you. I was never trying to make you feel that way."
Izuku hugged you tighter, resting his chin on the top of your head.
"From now on, I promise I'll always make time for you. You're my hero too, (Y/N). Without you with me in middle school, I... I would have..."
You didn't need to hear him finish for you to connect the dots.
After along moment of fleeting, renowned silence, you wrapped your arms around the boy, holding him tight against you.
You vowed to yourself then and there, that you would never ever let him go again.

BakuDeku Winter Week 1 - Reparations
"I'm home."
There's no reply to Katsuki's words. Granted, they were quiet enough that they might have gotten lost under the music playing softly in the living room. It's been a long day and he's too tired to even speak at his usual volume. The 'heroing' part of the day went fine; it's filling out forms afterward that completely fries his brain. He thought he was done with useless paperwork when he graduated from U.A.. No such luck. And to top it all, the unseasonable spring heat has been horrendous. It's helpful for his quirk, sure, but after a point it's just oppressive.
He's late enough that he'd have expected dinner to be waiting for him, or to have received a request from his nerd to pick up takeout on the way home. But there are no yummy smells to greet him--not even burnt ones as sometimes happen--and it looks like if he wants food he'll have to work on that himself. Any other night it'd be fine, but he's tired enough that the prospect isn't all that appealing.
Although...
That deep-seated tiredness seems to melt away when he walks into the living room to find Deku reclining on the couch with his back to the armrest and one of his notebooks propped up on his raised knees. He's wearing that too big, slightly misshapen wool sweater in All Might's costume colors, the one Katsuki always teases him about. How he can bear to wear that warm thing in this weather, Katsuki has no idea.
"Used to be, you'd be all over me when I walked in the door," Katsuki says with a mock-wounded look as he approaches the couch. "I guess the honeymoon phase is over, huh?"
Deku blinks those big eyes up at him a couple of times.
"Oh, hi Kacchan," he says with a small smile. "I didn't hear you come in."
Katsuki snorts. That much was obvious. Climbing over the end of the couch, he crawls up to Deku, pushing his knees apart to settle between them, unceremoniously dropping the notebook and pen he takes from Deku to the floor.
"Hey, wait, I was--"
Katsuki silences what was coming next by pressing his mouth to Deku's. He suddenly feels a lot better, but there's still room for improvement.
He lifts his mouth and body off Deku's just enough that he has room to tug at the sweater to get to the delicious, warm skin beneath.
"Kacchan, please be careful," Deku mumbles.
"Careful about what? You're not as breakable as you used to be."
Even with Deku helpfully lifting his hips to free the bit of sweater stuck under his ass, Katsuki has to work hard to get it off him. It's caught underneath him, but one last tug--
"What... What was that?”
Deku sits up properly now, dislodging Katsuki from his lap even as he reclaims the sweater from him with shaky hands, a steady stream of "No, no, please no" rising from his lips.
"What's gotten into you?" Katsuki asks, frowning.
"It felt like..."
He falls silent as his fingers find the large rip on the back, longer than Katsuki's hand, multiple strands of frayed wool hanging loose. His expression is one of pure grief; Katsuki's stomach twists unpleasantly.
"I asked you to be careful," Deku murmurs, and Katsuki knows that tone of voice. Years ago, it'd have been accompanied by tears. Deku doesn't cry so much anymore... But it doesn't make things any better when he's really upset. He just clams up, and fuck knows what Katsuki can do to fix it when it happens.
"It's just a cheesy old sweater, " he mutters. "I'll get you one from my merch line. Better quality and better colors."
His pointed look dares Deku to protest that--they once spent a very pleasant night arguing about costume colors in between rounds of fucking, and Katsuki wouldn't mind a repeat. But when he crawls back up Deku's body again, when he slides a hand over Deku's ridiculously tight abs, Deku slaps his hand away and shimmies out from under Katsuki until he can stand, still clutching the mangled sweater.
"It was Toshinori's," he says in a cold voice, glaring at Katsuki.
It's so rare to see Deku direct actual anger toward him that Katsuki's old defenses go back up instantly. Stinging words fall from his lips before he even knows he's speaking.
"Stealing from other people's closets? And here I thought you only stole my clothes. I guess I'm not that special, huh?"
Deku's gaze hardens just a little more, and Katsuki almost expects lightning to start coursing over his body. His voice is cold enough that it could put IcyHot's quirk to shame.
"He gave it to me. It was sample merch that never got mass produced because it was handmade and too complicated to bring to market. He kept it because he said it fit him in both his forms. He thought I'd get a kick out of having it in my collection, so when he was cleaning up his things before ... He gave it to me. And you just ruined it when I asked you to be careful. But it's not like you've ever cared about my stuff anyway, is it?"
It hurts.
It hurts because it's true--or was true. Watching Deku walk away, listening to his heavy feet and the banging of their bedroom door, Katsuki can't help but remember other instances when he broke or destroyed Deku's things just because he could. The fact that today it was an accident doesn't make it any less his fault.
Katsuki groans and runs a hand over his face. He really fucked up.
He'd like nothing more than to follow Deku and not let him walk away from him--how things have changed… But then what? 'Sorry' doesn't feel like it'd be nearly enough, and Katsuki doesn't know what else he's supposed to say.
Tired steps take him to the kitchen. He stands in front of the open fridge for a while before pulling out the ingredients for katsudon. He's really not in the mood to cook, but he doesn't know what else to do.
He's just about done frying the pork and already filling up two bowls when slow steps come up behind him. He glances back at Deku, who stands there in a t-shirt inscribed with the words 'boyfriend shirt', his hands in his pockets.
"I'm so--" he starts, but Katsuki doesn't let him finish.
"Swear to god, Deku, if you try to apologize I'm shoving my foot up your ass."
Deku frowns at him.
"That's what grow-ups do, Kacchan. When they say something ugly or something they don't mean, or when they do something they shouldn't, they apologize."
"And what good does that do?" Katsuki mutters as he tops the bowls of food with the pork cutlets and places both on their small kitchen table. "Words won't knit your sweater back together. Sit down."
Taking his own advice, he draws a chair and sits. He fiddles with his chopsticks until Deku sighs and sits across from him.
"Itadakimasu," he says quietly, his eyes on his food.
Katsuki grunts in reply and watches him take a couple of bites before he asks, his voice tight and low, "Can it be repaired?"
Deku shrugs a little, and briefly looks up.
"I doubt it. It's a big rip. It's my fault, I noticed a loose bit of wool before and I didn't do anything about it. I should have fixed it then."
And it's just so completely <i>Deku</i> to take the blame for something that wasn't his fault that Katsuki doesn't know whether he wants to kick him or kiss him. In the end, he lightly kicks his shin under the table, and when Deku glares up at him, he mumbles, not quite meeting Deku's eyes even as his cheeks heat up, "'M sorry. For ripping your sweater and for what I said."
Deku's foot finds his again for something that feels more like a caress than a kick.
"The food's delicious," he says softly. "Thank you."
And Katsuki knows he's forgiven--just as well as he knows he doesn't deserve to be. Not yet.
*
Seven months later
This year again, they set up a Christmas tree.
All right, so Izuku sets up a Christmas tree while Kacchan sits there and watches. At least this time he doesn't say it's a silly tradition, though he did insist that Izuku only set it up the night before Christmas. Seeing how busy they've both been lately, Izuku doesn't think he'd have found the time to set it up sooner regardless.
And besides, Kacchan never said when it's got to come down...
Izuku just likes the lights twinkling when the room is dark at night. And he likes finding hero-themed ornaments to hang from the branches. He has four All Might ones on there, each in a different costume. He doesn't despair of finding one for EraserHead someday. He has a Froppy one and a Uravity one--they're not licensed merch, just handmade figures created by a fan he found online. He's got an official Shouto ornament--well, really it's a collectible figure meant to sit on a shelf, Izuku just looped a bit of string around Shouto's outstretched hand... and he makes sure to hang it way in the back, so Kacchan won't roll his eyes and pout every time he looks at the tree.
There's also a licensed Dynamight ornament on there, and Izuku makes sure to put it front and center. Kacchan absolutely loathes it, because whoever sculpted it gave him a smile--a nice, soft smile, the kind of smile Izuku is the only one lucky enough to receive. Which is why Izuku loves it. And why he bought seven of them, the replacements stashed in a secure place just in case this one 'mysteriously' disappears.
After hanging up another handful of ornaments--they're minor heroes, but Izuku has had the chance to work with each of them--he stands back to admire his work. A little behind him, Kacchan grabs a fistful of his t-shirt and pulls until Izuku, laughing, stumbles back and into his lap. Kacchan's arms immediately wrap around him, holding him where he is--not that Izuku has any other place to be.
"What do you think?" he asks happily, watching the multicolor lights blink on and off randomly.
Kacchan grunts. "Don't think I didn't notice you hiding Candycane in the back. You should put a real candy cane on there, it'd look nicer."
Clucking his tongue, Izuku taps the thigh underneath his own.
"Be nice," he admonishes. "Or I'll put two of yours on there."
A huff against the base of his neck sends shivers down Izuku's spine.
"It doesn't need another one of me on there," Kacchan mutters. "But it could use one of you."
Izuku wouldn't mind, but his agency isn't like Kacchan's. They don't really do merch there--which Izuku is fine with, he agrees with his boss that the important part is to be a hero, not to sell stuff, and he's about to remind Kacchan of that when something small and green dangles in his peripheral vision. With some difficulty, he lifts his eyes from the tree and looks at...
Himself.
Or, well, a version of himself.
The figure dangling from Kacchan's fingers on a silver string is just three or four inches tall, but the details on it, from the costume to the pose to the expression on the face, are all exquisite. Whoever sculpted this--is it clay? It looks like glazed clay--did an awesome job.
And gave Izuku an absolutely feral expression.
Izuku doesn't know whether to laugh or squeal or just turn around and kiss Kacchan.
"It's a little Deku!" he exclaims, then laughs as he takes the figure in his hands. "A really angry little Deku!"
"Bet he's angry because Dynamight has been hanging in that tree with all these extras without him. You should put him up there."
Izuku is happy to do so, but not before turning In Kacchan's lap and stealing a kiss... or maybe even two.
Then he practically bounces to the tree and carefully hangs up his figure next to Kacchan's. They're the same size and fit perfectly together. It makes Izuku wish they'd get to fight side by side more often. Maybe some day, he thinks wistfully, they'll open an agency together. They've talked about it a few times, but they're still rookies, barely out of school, and while they technically <i>could</i>, they both agreed it was too soon.
"I love my present, Kacchan," Izuku says as he turns back to his boyfriend. "Thank you."
"You're welcome," Kacchan says, "but it's not your present. This is."
His fingers drum on the top of the plain white box that definitely wasn't next to him on the couch just a second ago. Izuku tilts his head, wishing one of his quirk was X-ray vision or something. His fingers itch and he doesn't dare take a step forward.
"Do you want to put it under the tree with yours?" he says softly.
Kacchan shakes his head.
"Come here," he says. "Open it."
Izuku doesn't move.
"But Christmas is only tomorrow," he protests, his voice sounding weak even to his own ears.
Kacchan's lips stretch on a wicked grin. "Have it your way. I'll open it, then, and keep it for my--"
Before he can finish or slide his fingers under the edge of the box, Izuku plops himself back down on his lap and draws the box onto his knees. Laughing, Kacchan encircles his waist with his arms again and rests his chin on Izuku's shoulder, watching as he lifts the top of the box and reveals a familiar pattern and colors: All Might's costume.
It takes a good two or three seconds before Izuku recognizes the equally familiar ridges of knitted wool. His breath catches in his throat and he very slowly, very carefully lifts what he knows is a sweater out of the box.
It's his sweater. He knows it is, because there's a small, black spot of indelible ink near the collar; it was already there when Izuku got it.
It's the sweater he's kept in the bottom drawer of his dresser for the past few months, unable to wear it anymore without aggravating the rip but unwilling to put it away for good.
But when he turns it around, the rip is gone. And if Izuku didn't know exactly where to look, he probably wouldn't notice the repaired area. Everything matches, from the color of the wool to the pattern of the knitting. The only thing is that the wool seems a little newer in that area, less fuzzy than the rest, but that's only because Izuku knows what he's looking at.
"Kacchan," he breathes, but doesn't know what else to say.
"Is that all right?" Kacchan asks, his voice tight. "I mean, I know I should have asked first before touching your stuff, but then it'd have ruined the surprise."
"It's..." Izuku's throat feels too tight. He clutches the sweater to his chest. "It's perfect. Thank you."
After Kacchan kisses the back of his head, he manages to ask, "But... how? I looked for shops that repair knitted things but I didn't find anything."
Kacchan mumbles something; Izuku isn't quite sure he hears right. "You... what?"
"I learned to knit," Kacchan repeats a little louder, sounding embarrassed of all things. "My parents work with this old woman sometimes, she knits samples of their designs for them and then they have factories recreate the stuff. I asked her if it was fixable, and when she said yes I asked if she'd teach me how. I wanted to have it ready for your birthday but that shit took longer than I expected. I just finished last week."
Izuku understands all the words individually but he struggles to make sense of them all together. Shifting on Kacchan's lap, he turns to look at him, and is surprised to find him red-faced.
"You learned to knit?" he asks, unable to keep an edge of awe from his voice.
"I messed up your sweater," Kacchan mutters. "Wanted to fix the damn thing." Rather than looking at Izuku, he rests his forehead against Izuku's collarbone and talks against his t-shirt. "There's a lot of stuff I can't fix, but that, at least--"
Izuku has heard enough. Holding the sweater close with one hand, he cups Kacchan's face with the other and kisses him within an inch of his life. Soon, Izuku is wearing his sweater again. The lights of the tree keep twinkling, but Izuku only has eyes for Kacchan.

Pairing: Bakugou x reader
Warnings: None
A/N:
Okay, so this one has a lot behind it. Technically, this is the first request I ever received (I’d say I got this one around late July?). It was 100% my intent to do all three characters, and it still is, but I got caught up in Bakugou’s and kind of konked on the other two. Also I realized how fricking long this was and thought it would be weird to have as a headcanon-y format.
I spent way too much time strategizing this (I remember literally laying in bed from like 2-4 AM rewatching episodes to get Bakugou’s fighting technique down and taking notes while also thinking about my new OC, who debuts here), but I honestly had the most fun writing this??? Like, I was high key using my brain for this and it was fun. Anyway, I hope it didn’t come out too cringey. If you want to talk to me about my OC, please please please come in my inbox, I am so happy to see you there!
I will finish this request! Sometime! When motivation re-strikes me! I’m about half-way done with Kirishima’s and I have a solid idea for Amajiki’s (different quirks).
I really hope you like this! This was new and experimental for me, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!

The class of 1-A stood in a small grouping, facing their teacher, All Might. They were preparing to begin their hero training for the day, anticipating for when the instructor would receive the go-ahead to begin class. Finally, All Might tapped a finger to the piece in his ear, a person on the other end offering confirmation that the grounds were ready.
"All right, young boys and girls," he said. "Today, we're doing some sparring practice in pairs. You will be graded on your tactic and skill."
He began to go over the general rules, which were the same as always; quirks are completely allowed, nothing dirty, he would interfere if he thought necessary. The objective was much like the sports festival where you needed to either immobilize your partner or push them out of bounds, yadda dadda da.
When he finally began listing off teams, you eagerly listened for your own last name to be read off his sheet.
"—Tokoyami and Shouji, (L/N) and Bakugou, Midoriya and—"
There it was! Your name! And a certain someone else's . . . .
Your eyes flicked around your assembled class, easily locating the blond spikes haphazardly sprouting from his head.
If it wasn't your sweet rival, Bakugou Katsuki.
The two of you were at the top of the class, constantly bumping heads on everything from test scores to hero training.
Oh, this is going to be good . . . .
You'd never fought one on one with quirks with each other before, and you already anticipated getting to know how your respective powers might clash. It wasn't as though the thought hadn't crossed your mind before—quite the opposite, in fact.
You felt considerably prepared for your mini battle with how much you'd watched him over the past months; learning his moves, how he thought, anything from what drove him forward to things that made him tick. You'd caught glimpses of Midoriya's hero notebook where he had information on all his classmates, and a part of you cockily doubted that you would even need something like that when it came to how well you knew your rival by now.
Nevertheless, you began to plot out strategies and stretch while you waited your turn, scenarios playing out in your head as you attempted to plan for any move he could try to pull against you.
Your quirk was called Panic. You could affect the fear response in someone's brain with high frequencies. Your signature attacks came from long, loud screams to make someone wet their pants, but you were also perfectly capable of making odd squeaky noises for a tasty sense of looming uneasiness in your opponent. You had learned some combat techniques, but for the most part you did better at long range; trying to immobilize the enemy enough to swoop in unexpected and secure them.
No one was wearing their hero costume, only in their gym uniforms. This would provide a slight disadvantage to you because you didn't have your directional speaker, but it wasn't the most necessary support item. You could function well enough without it.
Every now and then, you'd be knocked out of your meticulous scheming to watch some of your fellow classmates spar. There were a few pairs going at one time, but you were placed in one of the last sets, so you had the advantage of time to strategize. Eventually, however, you were called into one of the training rings, straightening and confidently adjusting your blue and white jacket.
You met Bakugou's fiery red eyes from across the way, teasingly waving at him and smirking. His gaze darted away from yours, stubbornly deciding to glue itself to the floor.
He wouldn't go easy on you. In fact, quite the contrary. You knew he'd give you everything he had and more, and you were more than prepared to do the same for him.
In a matter of minutes, your feet were planted in the loosely packed dirt of the training ring, several meters away from where Bakugou stood across from you, stretching out his arms. Your heart pounded in your chest as you waited for the signal to go, scraping the most important points you'd worked out earlier to the front of your brain.
After what felt like forever, the siren blared in your ears, causing you to tense, ready to begin your round with your explosive rival.
You shot towards him, wanting to get as close as possible. You expected he might try to stay away, keeping a distance so your quirk wouldn't affect him so much. Instead, he stood his ground, holding out his palms to you as you approached. Internally, you faltered, wondering what he was planning to do.
Nevertheless, you kept running forward, getting as close as you dared before drawing in a breath to scream and release your power. You noticed Bakugou flinch as sound began to leak from your throat, but he quickly fired off an explosion in your direction, drowning out the sound.
Of course! You internally smacked yourself. You relied on him being able to hear your screams in order for your quirk to affect him. He would have to use his explosions to drown out the sound.
Your mind began to spin, trying to formulate a new plan, when he began making an advance on you. Loud, crackling explosions danced off his hands, not horribly powerful, but boy, were they loud. You cringed at them, resisting the urge to cover your own ears to protect yourself from the noise. He kept coming closer, heat and smoke flickering over your face, causing you to take a step back, then another.
So that's his plan, you thought, taking another step in the direction of the boundary lines. He knows he can't really fight hand-to-hand, and there's no way either of us are going to admit defeat, so he's trying to push me out.
Your objective was to either knock him unconscious or chase him out of bounds, but this could be used to your favor if you timed it correctly.
Quirks are physical abilities too, you remembered hearing Midoriya say. Even Kacchan has his limits.
Push him to his limits. That's what you had to do.
You let him fire off blast after blast, keeping as far out of his reach as you could while leading him around the arena. He didn't have much choice but to keep going. If he stopped, you would be able to use your quirk on him, and you had a good chance of winning with one as powerful as yours. He simply had to keep a clear head and try to push you further towards the white boundary lines. Every now and then, he would lunge forward, trying to grab at you, and you would shriek at him, smirking as a moment of panic flashed across his face when the piercing noise slipped into his ears. This also served to make him all the angrier, lips curling into a snarl at your dominion over his emotions.
You made sure to keep your distance. You weren't wearing your hero costume, which would have helped in the sense that he wouldn't have been able to grab your mouth from under the directional speaker you wore over your mask, but you were grateful you didn't have to deal with his gauntlets.
You didn't like that he kept moving, and a small part of you was almost certain your fear and anxiety-inducing quirk would make his palms sweat even more, but there wasn't more you could pull against him. You just had to keep going until one of you exhausted yourself.
The smoke wasn't helping you. It scratched at your throat and stung your eyes. The scent of burning sugar filled the air, and you wondered how much more the both of you could take.
There it was, a wince from behind one of the black clouds, a falter in one of the fiery blasts. He was growing tired, but you knew from his expression of blank determination he wouldn't stop no matter what toll it took on his body. Anything for him to win, but you were the same way. Though he'd been focusing on the sound levels of his quirk rather than the force of each blow, it had still been taxing, and you knew that now was your chance.
The whole time, you'd been on the defensive, trying to save your voice and keep out of the way until this very moment, but now was the time of offense. You began to work the two of you over to the boundary lines, hoping to lull Bakugou into a false sense of security that he was getting you where he wanted.
Without warning, you leapt forward, going in to knock his feet from under him. If you got him on the ground, it would be easier for you to secure his hands and grab his head, which would ensure the win for you.
He snarled and leapt back. His reflexes were phenomenal, but in his moment of defense, he dropped from using his quirk. Bingo.
A deafening sliver of silence followed his motion, which you quickly filled with a piercing scream, one of the loudest you could muster.
His eyes widened and he stumbled, another explosion firing off as a flash of fear coursed through his body. You went for his feet again, and this time you wouldn't let up, pulsing high-pitched shriek after shriek to keep him on edge. He tried to keep on his toes, swinging at you almost blindly as you darted forward and dodged.
You'd learned that if you didn't do it enough, the fear and adrenaline of your enemy could work against you, heightening their senses and reflexes, and if you did it too much, your opponent might get used to your effect. Now, however, you knew to work quickly, forcing your influence into his head until he would struggle to think clearly, landing a good blow to his knees.
He crumpled forward, and you straddled yourself on top of him easily, taking his hands in one of yours behind his back and using the other to clutch at the base of his neck. You could feel his heart pounding underneath you, see his eyes rolling in his skull. The thought crossed your mind to pity him.
You loved your quirk, occasionally delighting in how easy it was to assert a certain amount of control over people. But you weren't a monster, and the idea of needlessly terrifying your classmates brought a curl to your lip in distaste. But this was your rival, Bakugou Katsuki. Maybe he deserved to be put in his place. Just a little.
You leaned forward and put your lips to his ear, letting out a final, high-frequency hum directly into his canal. You felt him seize up beneath you, hearing how his breathing changed as he tried to suck in breaths to calm himself. You wouldn't let up, however, and before long, you felt him go limp under your belly.
You stood after making sure he had slipped from consciousness, pride filling your chest. You'd done it. You'd won out over your rival.
You looked around and made eye contact with Cementoss, who had been monitoring your half of the fighting rings. He nodded at you approvingly and advanced to take Bakugou out of the ring.
You flounced back to the room where your classmates had been watching the sparring matches, allowing yourself to relish in the way everyone's eyes turned towards you.
"(L/N) shojo," All Might said. "Excellent job."
The silence of the class was cleared and everyone who was still in the room surged forward to congratulate you.
"You beat Bakugou!"
"That was amazing!"
"You really did it!"
Once everyone had settled, you excused yourself to go to the locker rooms.
On your way, you ran into Bakugou, who had since woken up from the little nap you'd forced him into.
"Oi, Bakugou," you said, the sound of your voice causing his blond head to whip around. You approached him and stuck out a hand. "Good match."
He glared at your hand and smacked it away. Why did his reaction kind of . . . hurt?
"Shut up!" he yelled. "Next time, you won't—you won't beat me so easily, mouse." He nearly choked when he had to admit that you had won against him.
"Still calling me a mouse?" you asked, tilting your head and smirking.
"You still squeak like one," he grumbled, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Don't think I'm done with you. You might have won today, but don't get used to it."
"Oh, I think I just might," you said cockily, breezing past him to slip into the girls' locker room door.
Bakugou growled at your disappearing back. What the hell was wrong with you? More importantly, what the hell was wrong with him?
He gripped at the back of his neck where you'd grabbed him, shivering at the memory of the sensation of your lips to his ear.
He had to snap out of it. You were his enemy. The only place you should have in his mind were in thoughts of how to overcome you, how to pound you into the ground until he came out on top above you.
And yet you wouldn't leave his head, and he found his eyes chasing your form nearly every day he saw you.
Bakugou snarled to himself, snapping him out of these thoughts and pushing himself from the locker room entrances. He would find a way to beat you. He wouldn't stop until he figured out a way to do it.
He wouldn't rest until he sorted out these feelings too, whatever they were.
Bakugou's black boots clicked on the floor as he exited the building. This was only the beginning of your saga together, and the two of you refused to enter passively.

I’m Sorry
Disclaimer!
As much as I love My Hero, these are not my characters. They belong to someone else and I just like to make them suffer. With that on to the fic!
It started with a small fight. What about? Neither boy could tell you. One second they were fine and the next Bakugou and Midoriya were screaming at each other in the middle of the dorm buildings kitchen. Horrible words spilled from the enraged blonds mouth. Cursing the green haired boy loudly, drawing the attention of all of class 1A. The class watched on from the hallway leading into the kitchen as the boys fought, completely unaware of their presence. It was then that the whole argument turned against them.
“STOP IT DEKU! YOU ARE SO FUCKING ANNOYING! JUST LEAVE ALREADY!”
“IF THAT’S HOW YOU FEEL THEN MAYBE I WILL TAKE YOUR ADVICE AND KILL MYSELF!”
They both fell silent. Bakugou stared at Midoriya in shock while Midoriya covered his mouth. “I…I’m so sorry…” He muttered.
“What is he talking about Bakubro?” Kirishima asked as he steped forward, making them both aware they had an audience and have had one for a while. “You didn’t actually say that….did you?” Bakugou’s head had dropped and he stared at the floor, unable to look his friend in the eye. “Bakugou tell me you didn’t tell him to kill himself!” Kirishima demanded. Still the blond kept his eyes to the floor. Tension rose in the air as Kirishima got pissed. “TELL ME YOU DIDN’T SAY THAT!”
“I CAN’T!” Bakugou yelled back. Finally making eye contact with the fiery red head. “I DID IT! I TOLD HIM TO AND I CAN”T TAKE IT BACK!”
Yelling broke out amongst the students as they all looked at Bakugou. He took each hurtful word, knowing he deserved it. They all called him horrible things which he knew he deserved. His friends taking turns to yell and even slapping him a few times.
Shouts of “How could you”s rang through the dorms as the Deku Squad carefully pulled Midoriya away. He too had crossed a line. There was an unspoken rule between them that the “incident” would never be talked about. He had broken the rule and now Bakugou was paying the price for it.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.” Midoriya mumbled to his friends.
“You did nothing wrong Deku. Bakugou should never have said that to you.” Uraraka said as she pulled him into a hug. “Don’t worry. We will take care of everything.” He cries at her words. Knowing that she didn’t know the whole story, or how they both had grown. It just made everything worse as he cried harder.
After he had calmed down he explained everything to his friends and how Bakugou had changed since coming to UA. It made Bakugou sound worse. Especially when they found out Bakugou hurt Midoriya physically, with and without his quirk. They told him it was ok to tell them and everything would be fine.
Things weren’t fine and absolutely not ok.
That day Aizawa was informed about what happened and many things happened. A new seating chart was made with Bakugou in Hagakure’s  seat and Midoriya in Uraraka’s. Jirou was switched with Sero and Bakugou’s old seat was now Satou’s. Bakugou was now surrounded by people that could physically stop him if he became aggressive. He was also forced to wear a quirk suppressor collar, to ensure no quirk use was possible. He had mandatory counselling three days a week, community service on the weekends, and was no longer allowed to be less then three yards away from Midoriya. And so much more.
In less words, his life became hell.
Bakugou attempted to talk to his friends but they ignored him or pushed him away. When he tried to answer questions in class he was overlooked. Even when he got hurt in training now Recovery Girl healed him to the bear minimum before kicking him out of her office. No one wanted him.
The realization of this hit him like a ton of bricks. No one cared about him anymore. They all hated him and for good reason. Who would want a bully as a friend? This caused him to spiral into his darkest thoughts. I hate myself. Unworthy. Cruel. Mean. Villain. Villain. Villain….
His thoughts were repeated every second of everyday. The words left a bitter taste in his mouth, making him nauseous. He stopped eating to get the feeling to go away but it didn’t work. Neither did the sleepless nights he started to have more frequently. He had taken to writing out his thoughts. His counselor thought it would help to get his emotions out in a less destructive manner.
This worked for awhile but as he became more depressed so did the writing. His depression made him uncaring, not his usual way but worse. He stopped caring about basic needs like eating, sleeping, bathing and things of that nature. He stopped caring about school and homework. He didn’t care about his perfect attendance anymore. Bakugou had become a shell.
When he explained it to his counselor she prescribed him an antidepressant that was supposed to help…….That was weeks ago. And Bakugou had never felt more sad and alone since.
(START OF TRIGGER WARNING FOR SELFHARM)
He found that pain helped him feel alive after stubbing his toe one day. It was the first time in a long time that he felt anything besides crushing despair. He started with small things. Pinching himself. Running into things on purpose. But that got boring fast.
He stepped it up after getting a paper cut from his journal. The small cut caused him to feel so much more and he craved it. He started cutting himself with his razor, scissors, pencil sharpener and any thing else he could find. He took to wearing long sleeves and sweatpants. He never cut his upper arms as they were visible in his hero suite. They all stayed where his gauntlet would cover.
Finally feeling something, he got back into school work. He had started putting up a front that he was ok. Fooling everyone, even his counselor, except for the small green haired boy who knew him best.
(END OF TRIGGER WARNING AND START OF A NEW ONE FOR MAJOR CHARACTER INJURY)
His secret came to light during training. Bakugou and Satuo were teamed up to fight a special hero guest, Gang Orca, when a building with “hostages” started to collapse. Before Satou could turn or Orca says that that wasn’t a part of the training, Bakugou moves.
He didn’t think. It looked like Midoriya out there instead as he moved into the building. Everyone in the booth watched as “hostages” were thrown out of the doorway. One. Two. Three, four. On the fifth one the building fully fell, trapping Bakugou inside.
“KACCHAN!” Midoriya yelled as he raced out of the booth and to the rubble. His class followed him but stopped short when he, Aizawa, and Gang Orca started trying to dig him out. “HELP US!” He yelled.
“Midoriya….why should we help? He’s been nothing but mean to you. He’s just a villain.” Mineta said.
Midoriya turned to him. “Why? Because he’s my friend! Because even after everything he has done, I know he is a good person! Everyone makes mistakes! He never actually meant it! He had already apologized but you all made him feel horrible! Its your fault, all of you, for making him so sad!” he yelled. “If you don’t help, then you are not a hero. You are a villain, and I’m not friends with villains!”
His words shocked everyone to their core. Midoriya was right. They had seen the change but didn’t care. If the situation had been reversed they knew Bakugou would secretly help them. He would have talked them through it. Because he had to live with the guilt every day. And they made it worse.
Slowly they all broke up and started to help uncover the blond. It wasn’t until Kirishima moved a large slab of concrete that things got worse.
Bakugou was under it, barely awake and breathing hard. His head was bleeding profusely as were the parts where the rebar were sticking out. His gauntlet was destroyed and gave everyone a good look at his arms. The scars and new cuts on full display as he struggled to breathe.
“BAKUGOU!” Kirishima yelled. He got down next to him and started trying to stop the bleeding with parts of his costume. “SOMEONE GET RECOVERY GIRL! CALL AN AMBULANCE!”
Bakugou coughed a bit as he looked up. “Ki-kiri?”
“I’m right here man. I’ve got you.”
           “I’m……I’m sorry.”
Kirishima teared up. “No. We did this to you. You have nothing to be sorry for. I’m sorry ok? Please, please just hang on for me.”
           “It-…It doesn’t hurt…..not- not anymore.” Bakugou mumbles. “I’m dying…..aren’t I?
“No. You are going to be fine. Just hold on.” Kirishima pleads.
“It’s ok…I’m finally…what I wanted to be. Im-….I’m free.” Bakugou smiles as he closes his eyes. A cough causes blood to well up into his mouth as the rest of his former squad comes over. They speak softly to him, apologizing for not being there when he needed them. For being mean. He just chuckled around the blood. “Idiots. I never h-hated you…….” He says weakly. His eyes slip closed as he mutters “I f-forgive y-you….” and falls limp.
                                           THE END….For now.
If you would like to see a part two where everyone says sorry then like this post and give it tons of attention. Bakugou isn’t dead I promise so don’t worry about that. Hope you enjoyed and feel free to request more fics. Stay Angsty!!!

You woke up to the beeping of your alarm clock, rolling over to shut it off you rub the sleep from your eyes and begin your day. You hopped in the shower washing off the smell of chlorine that was still on you from last night. Getting out and brushing your teeth, fixing your hair out and letting it air dry, you put on your uniform. You looked over at the bandages and then back at the mirror contemplating. You sighed before turning and grabbing your bag and heading out, you didn’t need them you can still be that same girl before. You closed your door and headed to the elevator when you got closer you could see the doors closing.
“Hold the door!” You yelled rushing to it a hand stuck out opening it again as you slipped in. “Thanks I didn’t really want to wait..” You fixed your blazer and looked up and trailing off when you saw it was Kacchan who held the doors open. He had a smile on his face watching you
“Hey.” He leaned against the wall of the elevator and your face turned red.
“Hey… Kacchan..how are you.” You stuttered trying to fix yourself. You stand next to him as you guys go down to the common area.
“I’m good.” He nodded and you nodded in response desperately trying to get the red to leave your face. You both stood in silence as you waited to get to the right floor.
“So I”
“I wanna.” You both said at the same time making you laugh and him smile.
“You first.” He said.
“About last night,” You rubbed the back of your neck, “If you didn’t like it or anything we can just go back to begin friends or something.” You kept rambling trying to not make him uncomfortable. Bakugo pressed a kiss onto your cheek just like how you did last night and you freeze.
“You talk a lot you know.” He chuckled “I think you’re pretty cool or whatever.” A red tint appears on his face making you smirk bumping your shoulder into his
“Or Whatever...” You teased making him send you a glare,
“You know what I mean.” He mumbled, you smiled grabbing his hand and you both looked at each other and looked away, your face heating up. You both stood in the elevator holding hands looking away from each other. The door opened and you both quickly pulled away walking out, “I’ll see you in class Idiot.” He gave you a smirk walking over to his friends, you nodded frozen in your spot.
“Later blondie.” You trailed watching him walk away.
“You good.” A voice made you jump and turn to see it was Izuku and Uraraka,
“Yeah I’m good.” You nodded glancing back at Bakugo who was talking to Kirishima.
“Why is your face red then?” Izuku asked, placing his hand on your forehead.
You pushed back, “I’m fine...Let’s just go to class.” You slapped his hand away from your face, and you guys made your way to homeroom after grabbing some breakfast. When you guys got there most of your classmates and you guys went to your seats. The door opened and Mr. Aizawa came in and sat at his desk in front of the class.
“I’m too tired for greetings so I’m just going to go straight to it. Your next challenge to become a Pro is you all need provisional hero licenses. The exam is usually for the second and third years but with your situation they allowed the first year to go for their licenses. With the license, you gain permission to intervene directly when people’s lives at stake.” Mr. Aizawa explained, “Even with the experience you have as first years less than 5 percent gain their license.” You frowned looking at your classmates you all had been through a lot but was this experience enough to earn your license. “To prepare for the exam you will need a least two signature special moves that will be in combat. And with that, we brought some people in.” He finished and the door opened revealing Cementoss, Ectoplasm, and Midnight.
“This is so cool.” Ashido smiled,
“Some normal school stuff.” Kaminari sighed
“Whatever hurry and grab your costumes and meet at Gym Gamma.” Mr. Aizawa rubbed his eyes walking out of the room with the rest of the teachers. You all made your way to the locker room to get changed into your costumes.
“I just realized that we have never seen your hero costume when we first met.” Hagakure pointed out.
You placed your briefcase with your costume on one of the benches, “Yeah I was wearing my gym uniform when we all met and then we never wore ours during the training camp.” You nodded unlocking the case.
“Hurry and put it on I wanna see it!” Ashido pushed you into one of the stalls for you to change. You had finished zipping up your boots and fixing your hair.
“Are you done yet?” Uraraka asked,
“Yeah.” You unlocked the stall stepping out and looked at the other girls who were also in their costumes.
“Oh my god you look so pretty!” Ashido squealed jumping up and down and your face turned red as the rest complimented you.
“Aww thanks guys.” You rubbed the back of your neck.
“Come on let’s go train.” Uraraka grabbed your hand pulling you out of the locker room. You entered the gym and saw the rest of the guys standing talking to each other.
“Dang Y/n love the suit.” Kaminari yelled, pointing at you, making you smile.
“Thanks Kaminari.” You gave him a smile, you saw Bakugo turn from Kirishima to you and you watched as his eyes went up and down taking in your suit and his face went red. One of the teachers cleared their throat drawing the attention to them,
“I created Gym Gamma using my quirk and can be altered to suit the needs of every student.” Cementoss explained using his quirk to create sections for everyone.
“Mr. Cementoss Sir,” Tenya’s hand shot in the air, “Why are special moves necessary.”
“The exam is designed to test students’ aptitudes such as information gathering, judgement, mobility, leadership, and communication in various situations. However the attitude that is most noticed is the fighting ability.” Mr. Aizawa stated.
“Bringing stability to a situation is a mark of a hero’s true fighting ability.” Cementoss added.
“Special moves doesn’t necessarily need to be offensive, Ida’s Recipro Burst is a move worthy of being a special move since you are able to move at blistering speeds which gives him the upper hand.” Ectoplasm pointed out to Tenya and now it made sense with what special moves were to gain the upper hand on your opponent or situation.
“Another example is Kamui Wood’s Lacquered Chain Prison, he is able to suppress his opponents before they can do anything.” Midnight included.
“You were supposed to work and create your moves at training camp if things hadn’t changed. You will all spend the remaining days of break and focus on developing your quirks and creating special moves.” You all nodded in understanding, “I advise you all to consider upgrading your hero costumes to help in aid in your special moves.” Mr. Aizawa had sent you all off as Cementoss finished preparing the terrain and Ectoplasm created clones of himself so you all could spar against. You walked over to one of the Ectoplasms and got yourself ready to think of a move. You didn’t really have time to think as you were thrown into a fight, kicks were sent your way and you ducked out of the way. You remained on the defensive side creating force-fields when his reflexes were slightly faster, softening the blow of his attack.
“In a fight you will have no time to think as it is life or death.” Ectoplasm yelled, throwing a kick to your face as you slid under his leg only for him to turn and kick you in the gut causing you to roll over. “You either fight for the people or die trying, so fight!” He yelled and sent another kick to you as you stumbled to your feet dodging his attack. You tried getting into some close combat and then tried to use your quirk but his reflexes were much faster than yours. He kicked you in the gut sending you to the ground, the air getting knocked out of you.
“Should we stop them?” Midnight looked over at Mr. Aizawa as they watched you fight.
“No she’s holding back, she hasn’t used her quirk on the offense.” Mr. Aizawa watched you as you dodged another kick.
“Fight, don’t hold back this is how people get killed because the hero won’t give their all!” Ectoplasm yelled. He brought his leg down his attacks getting harsher, even though he was a clone he wasn’t holding back. He brings his foot down almost stomping on your neck, you quickly bring your hands up and a red haze surrounds his foot as he puts more weight down his foot getting closer to your throat. Your eyes glow a bright red as you bring your hands together and the haze surrounds his body completely, you pull your hands apart quickly and he completely disintegrates. You sit up letting out the air you were holding in, your hands are still glowing red and you assume your eyes are as well. You snap your head over to where the teachers were standing with the inclusion of All Might. They were all looking at you, each of them were giving you a different look convening something. You felt a hand on your shoulder and you whipped around throwing a punch only for them to dodge. The red disappears instantly from you when you see it is Izuku kneeling next to you,
“Are you okay?” He asked and you pushed away rushing to your feet.
“I’m fine.”
“Are you sure Y/n?” Izuku grabbed your hand, but you ripped your hand from his grasp. You can feel that people are watching you as you create distance between you and your cousin.
“I’m fine.” You deflected, you turn and rush out of the gym trying to dodge the looks from your classmates and teachers. You exited the gym walking alongside the building trying to catch your breath, trying to gain some form of control. You sit on the ground leaning against the wall, trying to get in the air. Red mist surrounding your hands as you panic, “Breathe...calm down..just breathe.” You tug on your hair trying to be grounded to something if that means pain.
“Y/n.” A voice calls out and your head shoots up to look at the person, and seeing it’s Mr. Aizawa.
“I can’t… I-I can’t do this..I..I can’t breathe..” You panted clutching onto your neck trying to get air in, you nails digging into your scars. Hands grabbed on your pulling them away as you suck in small breathes.
“Y/n breathe.. You need to breathe..” Mr. Aizawa said, squeezing on your hands. You nod frantically forcing yourself to take deep breaths, you pounding in your heart lessens as you focus becomes much clearer.
“I can’t do this.. I can’t..” You sniffle trying desperately not to cry in front of your teacher.
“You are one of the strongest students in this class, you got into this school through recommendation that not that simple ” Mr. Aizawa now sat on the ground across from you as you wiped away the tears from your eyes.
“I’m just so scared I’m going to hurt someone again.”
“With everything that you’ve been through you have every reason to be scared. Your quirk is connected with your emotions, you just need time and training.” He placed a hand on your shoulder making you look at him. “I told your parents that I would look after you and I’m not breaking my promise.”
“I thought you don’t make promises?” You frowned and remembered what he said before.
His corner of his mouth turned up, “I guess things change.” Mr. Aizawa stands up putting his hands in his pockets, “Come on let’s get Recovery Girl look over you.” You nodded, getting up slightly dizzy but otherwise going and you both made your way to the nurse’s office. You had been given drinks and a little snack before she scolded you a bit for your fears before understanding where you were coming from. It was around sunset when you made it back to the dorms where you were bombarded by your classmates, mostly just Izuku apologizing if he hurt your feelings but also wanting to know what happened.
“Izuku I swear you didn’t do anything, I’ve just been pushing myself.” You calmed him down as it looked like he was going to cry, “I’m going head to bed try and rest.” You pointed your thumb in the direction of the elevator.
Izuku nodded, “My room is always open if you need to talk.” He gave you a hug.
You laughed pulling away, “I know Izuku… thanks.” You smiled, you said goodnight to your classmates and headed to your room. You opened the door to your dorm and placed your bag by the door, “Why are you like this Y/n?” You mumbled turning to your mirror.
“Like what?”
You screamed and turned to the voice and saw it was Bakugo he sat at your desk looking over you.
“Jesus Christ, what the hell are you doing in here.” You held your hand on your chest trying to calm your breathing.
“I want to see you after what happened in the gym, idiot.” You groaned flopping on your bed.
“I already got a lecture by everyone already don't add to the list.” You hear footsteps and someone nudged your shoulder
“Move over dumbass.” You huffed rolling over sitting up giving him room. Kacchan sat next to you leaning against the headboard as you both sat in the silence. “Are you ok and don’t lie like you do to those extras.”
You let out a short laugh looking at your hands, “When we were captured by the League of Villains and then they released what I did, I felt like my life had just ended. I see how they look at me even my parents give me that same look. I have a dangerous quirk that I have no control over and my life now.” You turn to face him who was looking at you. “I just don’t know what to do anymore.” Bakugo’s arm wrapped around your shoulders pulling you to him so you were leaning on his chest.
“You're gonna be a great hero one day and I promise you I’ll never look at you like they do.” You smiled looking up at him
“Thanks Kacchan.” You both relaxed in the silence with you in his arms, as sleep slowly took over you. Bakugo slowly slipped out from under you, fixing you so you were laying down “night kacchan” You mumbled snuggling into your pillow. He smiled pulling your blanket over you before leaving your dorm unknowing of a certain pink girl watching.

kiseichū and dadzuku part 3
Tumblr media
Okay so I needed a quick bnha writing cause my mind is craving bnha...sooo dadzuku and kise part 3
Also for those who care I dimmed down kise’s quirk instead of copying people’s quirk he copies any living thing’s physical properties so he still gains animal or plant traits from touching an animal or plant but with people it’s more their hair color or eye colors instead of their quirk
Part one
Part two
Tumblr media
“I don’t get why the hell I had to go” bakugo hissed under his breath as the group took a small break from walking around the aquarium watching kise press his hands against the glass staring at the colorful fish while Izuku was explaining each of the fish to him. “Well you were the one who locked him in a room and almost starved him to death” kirishima mumbled out causally.
“Shut it dumb hair!” Bakugo snapped and scoffs eyes lingering on the kid. After a few moments of staring he flinched at Mina leaning against him“Izuku is really good with him. I think they’ll be okay so no need to be worried” Mina said softly causing bakugo to twitch with anger face red as he shot his eyes to the girl
“who said I was fucking worried?! Why would I care about some snot nose brat!?” Bakugo roared out before feeling someone tug at his shirt so he looked down seeing kise gaze up at him eyes droopy and his face mask up covering the bottom half of his face
“Come look at the fishes with me” kise mumbled out and bakugo wanted to say no so bad but before he could stop his body he was getting up letting kise guide him to the glass tank. “Zuku said that’s a rainbow fish, and that one is an angel fish” kise said softly.
“Hmph. Yeah yeah I see them” bakugo hissed out noticing how sleepy kise looked and he sighs scooping kise up into his arms. Bakugo used to absolutely hate kids..but there was something pitiful about this one that made him soften slightly.
“Woah you two are bonding!” Izuku chimed out making bakugo tense up and he full on tossed the kid to Izuku watching him panic as he caught kise in his arms “k-Kacchan!” Izuku snapped out in shock at the blonde. “Can we go now?!” Bakugo hissed and Izuku smiles widely
“Not yet I want to show kise something”
Kise perked up as the group all walked to a special area, they stood in the center surrounded by a tank that had hundreds of colorful jellyfish around them. The sight was absolutely beautiful and kise looked around eyes wide at the pretty colors “w-what are these?” He asked out and denki grinned “jellyfish! They give one hell of a zap!” He chimed out and kise felt Izuku put him down so he walked up to the tank with a soft hum
“Jellyfish...”
Kise looked back at Izuku a bright smile on his face which shocked the pro hero, he has never seen kise look so happy before and it made his heart swell up with joy. “They’re so pretty!” He cheered out before turning back to the tank infront of him hands on the glass watching them swim.
Kise left with a jellyfish plushie that day, hugging it close as he sat on izuku’s shoulders. His head was getting heavy as he hugged the plush toy close trying not to fall asleep.
“We should all hang out again! I wanna see kise more so don’t hog him deku!” Mina teased with a pout and Izuku chuckled as he separated with the group waving as he walked to the train station. He took kise off his shoulders and put him down, holding his hand to keep him from getting lost.
“Are you sleepy? You had a long day” Izuku hummed out as the two sat on the train kise leaning his head on Izuku’s arm now sleepily playing with the plush jellyfish “can we..go see the jellyfish again one day?” Kise whispers out and Izuku softly ruffled up his curly hair
“Of course! Anytime you want!” He cheers out with a grin. The two walked home and the two were...attempting to fix dinner.
“Hey, zuku?”
“Hmm?”
“Do I have a villain quirk?”
The pro hero flinched shattering the glass of olives in his hands..well looks like their pasta won’t have olives in them. Izuku frantically cleaned up his hand before turning to kise and getting down on his level. “Why would you say that?! Did someone say something?” He hissed out.
The boy looked down feeling a sense of shame washing over him as he hugged the jellyfish plush toy tightly in his arms. “I know it’s bad....I kill things. I don’t wanna be a villain ” he whispers out now tearing up and Izuku felt a concerned panic fill him. Kise was so smart and calm that sometimes he forgets that he was just a five year old little boy with a quirk that thrives on the execution of living things.
He pulled kise close hugging him tightly running his fingers through his hair with a sigh. “There is no such thing as a hero or villain quirk, anyone can be a hero even you” Izuku said softly and pulled back.
“Like you?” Kise questioned and Izuku grinned widely “yeah! Like me! You wanna be a hero just like me? We’ll have to come up with a hero name for you! And a cool costume! How about we work on it together?” Izuku chimed out as he wiped the boy’s tears away. Kise perked up and gave a smile before nodding.
Hours went by and Izuku carried kise to bed softly tucking him in before sitting down on the floor watching him sleep with a soft hum as he reached out brushing kise’s hair out his face while he peacefully slept. “allmight, I don’t know what I’m doing..I wish you were here. Please help me guide kiseichū down the right path” the pro hero whispered out leaning close kissing the boy on the forehead.
He had a lot of work to do if he was going to help kise master his quirk, Izuku walked out the room notebook in his hand as he smiled at the drawing of the hero costume. “A jellyfish themed hero costume..he must really liked them” he whispers out and let out a sigh.
“God, I really hope I do the right thing.”
