Denki just wanted a drink of water, he was tapping at his fingers hoping that feeling in them had returned and he thought it had believing he was feeling something.

As he went to grab a glass down from the dorm’s kitchen it slipped through his fingers and onto the wooden floors.

The smashing drew the attention of some people that were on the same floor causing them to rush to the kitchen to see what happened.

When their eyes landed on Denki, Bakugo let out, “Kiri get Aizawa, Deku grab the first aid kit and Jirou we need towels.”

While everyone rushed around Bakugo walked over to Denki and pulled him away from the glass.

“It just slipped out, I’m sorry.” Denki let out staring at the glass.

Aizawa rushed in just as Jirou returned with the towels.

Wrapping the towels around Denki’s hands Bakugo looked at Aizawa shaking his head.

“When did your hands go numb, Karminari?” Aizawa asked, crouching down.

“They aren’t numb, they have been tingly for a few days.” Denki responded, still staring at the glass.

Jirou leant forward and started pinching Denki.

Wrists? Nothing.

Forearm? No Reflex.

Inner Elbow? Still no response.

Pulling up Denki’s sleeves, she and everyone else in the room noticed the small lightning shaped scarring so Jirou pinched just below the scarring but when he didn’t flinch, she just pinched above it.

“Why did you just pinch me?” Denki said going to rub where she pinched but stopped when his hand came into view.

A white towel stain bright red with blood and it made him scream.

“It hurts!”

“No it doesn’t, your brain is only telling you it hurts because you saw the injury,” Aizawa said, moving Denki’s hand out of his view.

With a quirk like yours, it was expected that you'd be in touch with nature. You could control the elements, so it'd be kind of weird if you weren't. And because of this, you connected to animals very easily. They loved you, and you loved them. It was... natural. And you were beautiful too. And smart. And funny. And empathetic. And charming. And friendly... Basically, you were a kick ass Disney princess, and Denki Kaminari wouldn't have it any other way.

"Denki, quit staring. It's creepy," Jirou grimaces. The boy snaps from his trance, and blushes darkly.

"I wasn't staring," he defends in a shrill whisper. Jirou only rolls her eyes in return. This had been going on for days. It was getting to the point where she wish he'd just ask you out, and get all of this over with. Not that she minded a good love interest every now and then, but the drooling and constant day dreaming was too much.

"Are you ever going to ask her out?" she quizzes. Karminari jumps in his seat as if she had just smacked him across the face. He turns to her quickly, and covers her mouth with his hand.

"She isn't deaf!" he cries a little too loud. Multiple people turn to his direction, including you. Noticing you turning your head, Jirou grins.

"Obviously," she nods in your direction subtly. However, he had looked back up with only enough time to see you moving your head. Everyone seemed to have shrugged off his outburst. "But, seriously It's kind of obvious that you like her, so just ask her out or something."

Kaminari sighs deeply. He had only talked to you a handful of times, and most of them were in passing. He didn't know enough about you to plan the perfect first date. If he did, he would have asked already! "I don't know anything about her besides her quirk," he mumbles.

Jirou raises a brow at this, "What's that matter? Get to know her on the date."

"But I- I want it to be perfect!" he explains.

"What? Do you plan to swoon her with your planning skills?" Jirou deadpans.

"Yes!" he cries seriously, "How am I supposed to do that when I don't know what she likes?"

"Just take her some place you like. If that goes well, she can pick the next place."

"Ah! That's a great idea, you genius!"

"It really doesn't take a genius to come up with that..." Jirou sighs, "Where do you plan on going?"

"My favorite hamburger place!" he announces proudly. Jirou nods at this, but something seemed to be missing. What was she forgetting..?

"Wait... isn't she vegan?"

Denki's heart stops at this. It made sense. With your connection to animals, you not wanting them to be slaughtered for food seemed obvious. But vegan? HOW COULD YOU NOT LIKE MEAT OR MILK OR EGGS OR CHEESE OR- OR- JUST HOW?! "SHE'S WHAT?" he screams in terror.

"Shut up, you idiot! Everyone's staring at you!" Jirou whispers harshly. Denki puts his head on his desk for the rest of class. How could he ever live with you if you didn't eat any of his favorite foods? His fantasy of coming home from a long day of being a hero to you with cheesy hamburgs had vanished. If he were to marry you, he'd have to give up those foods for you. Thoughts like this bombarded his head until the final bell had rang. His friends feared for his sanity.

Leaving the school, Denki wandered aimlessly. He was still in shock from the events from earlier. However, he had finally come to his solution. Spotting you near the school gates, his heart skipped a beat. You looked beautiful with your sunset kissed hair billowing gently as you walked. Nodding to himself in encouragement, he ran. Straight at you.

"(Y/NNNNNNNNN)!" he screamed. You turned around with wide eyes. Within seconds, he was doubled over in front of you. He tried to catch his breath so he could speak.

"Denki? Are you okay?" you ask, gently placing a hand on his back. This only worsened his breathing, and his heart skipped another beat. He was certain you would be the death of him. He nods viciously, rising to look at you. He puts his hands on your shoulders firmly, and stares into your eyes with an unnerving about of seriousness.

"I LOVE YOU ENOUGH TO GIVE UP HAMBURGERS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!" he declares. You blush furiously at this, but find the words odd. With a questioning grin, you raise a brow.

"W-what?" you laugh nervously. His face falls blank.

"You're vegan aren't you?" he asks, brows furrowing. You laugh at this, shaking your head.

"N-no!" you breath between laughs, "Even if I was, that wouldn't mean you'd have to give up those foods." You wipe a tear away from your eye, giggling at his expression. He looks shocked, but relieved. His hands had fallen from your shoulders, and he stared into space. After a few moments, he releases a tiny "oh".

"I appreciate the thought though," you laugh, grasping his arm gently. His eyes shoot to your hand, and he blushes. Blushing as well, you rub the back of your neck with your free hand. "And, I don't know about love... but I do like you!"

"I'll text you later, then," you grin as you stuff your phone away. He nods excitedly. You had to leave, but you really didn't want to. Looking at your shoes, you nudge the ground gently.

"I'll, uh, see ya later, Denki," you smile before kissing his cheek gently. The second your lips meet his cheek, you jerk back. He had unintentionally shocked you. He didn't seem to notice though. He seemed to have short circuited. You laugh at this before leaving. Flowers seemed to spout the entire way home.
