She’ll be busy, preparing for her directorial debut and, like the rest of the cast, getting ready for Season 8. Assuming Starz promotes the elusive Season 7B, we’ll see her in what are probably long-ago recorded videos, etc. Some fans are wondering if Starz will host another mid-season premiere event like they did for Season 1B in 2015.
I’m looking forward to seeing her promote The Amateur (8 November) and The Cut (TBA), and hope the films are represented next awards season. As much that circus irritates me, I enjoy seeing her and Tony out and about. 👠👞

This year was very harsh on me, I lost a couple of family members and I also almost lost my job as well, so if you were wondering about the sudden decline, that's your answer.

And a very special thank you to the people that left comments, wrote reviews and sent asks, they are not overlooked, and they fuel me to keep going.
Being inspired to write is hard, finding that spark of myself I want to add to my work is rough, but when I'm standing alone in the dark, it's you that hold the torch that lights my way out.

ROTG Hope Week 2024 - 31 March through 6 April
The last few years have been rough on many of us, and we could all use a little Hope.
So once again we're back for the RISE OF THE GUARDIANS April[ish] fandom creation event, starting on Easter Sunday, March 31st at 12:01AM Eastern US Time, and ending on Saturday, April 6th at 11:59PM Eastern US Time.
We're trying something a little different this year - one overarching theme, that of games, with a daily Column A choice and a Column B choice, so that participants can take their pick of one or two prompts to fill per day.
GUIDELINES:
7 days, 14 prompts, with your choice of one or two prompts per day.
Visual, aural, textile, and literary works are allowed - fanart, fanfiction, gifs, edits/manips, cosplay, fanmixes, crafts, or ask-and-answer IF THEY FIT THE PROMPT.
Creation of original material is preferred for this event, rather than reblogs.
Inspiration should be drawn from the GUARDIANS OF CHILDHOOD bookverse and the RISE OF THE GUARDIANS movieverse.
Don’t feel like you ***must*** post a piece Every… Single… DAY, and/or fill every single prompt. Burnout is not fun. But do try to post at least ONE piece during the seven days of the challenge.

To say that Yuming was unaffected by the backlash she gets would be a lie. She honestly couldn't even count the number of times she used to cry to one of her members after another interviewer was being disrespectful or after reading a hateful comment. Over the years, she felt like she grew more confident in herself and within SEVENTEEN, especially with releasing her solo music, doing acting roles, and even just actively talking more during group schedules.
Now Yuming’s wondering if good things really don’t last forever as she scrolls through the array of articles and comments calling for her removal from the group.
“This can’t be serious..” She mutters, shaking her head. She knows it's unhealthy to consume this much negativity about herself, but usually Junhui or Minghao are there to talk her out of looking at hate about herself. Now looking around the empty dorm, she wishes either of the two could be there.
As much as Yuming and Junhui don't try to hide their relationship from fans, they both know how awful a dating rumor could be for both of their careers. Yuming sighs as she opens her text messages full of worried texts from the members. She feels terrible that she's been ignoring them all but can't find it in herself to respond to them.
Just as Yuming was about to turn her phone off and try to pretend nothing was happening, her messaging app buzzed with a new text.

can we talk?
To say Yuming was nervous would be the understatement of the year — she was completely terrified to answer Junhui. Her boyfriend was nowhere to be found the entire 13 hours of one of the worst dating rumors they’d been in. She even asked Minghao who was in China with Junhui, and he had no clue where Jun was.
Before she got the chance to even think about responding, her phone rang with an incoming call from Junhui. She lets it ring a few times before she decides to accept the call and puts it on speaker.
“Junhui I’m—”
“Did you see the articles? Are you okay?” Junhui interrupted.
“Hui, what do we do?” Yuming whispered, tearing up.
She absolutely hated crying, but she couldn't help the tears running down her face, “I ruined everything, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.”
“Baobei are you crying? Ming you didn't ruin anything. It's okay, please don't cry.” He quickly consoled.
“We have to tell everyone, don't we?” She said, trembling. “It's become too big to ignore now, hasn't it? Pledis even told me we have to deal with it one way or another..”
Junhui went silent for so long that Yuming almost thought he hung up.
“Hui, revealing our relationship could genuinely destroy our careers. It's not like we ever tried to hide it fully, but fans' theories don't even come close to an actual confirmation.” She sniffled.
“You know I'll always be by your side, right, Sun?” He said, and Yuming could swear she heard his voice shaking. “No matter what happens, we’ll get through this together, I promise.”
And Yuming can’t help but find herself believing him. No matter what happens, everything was going to be okay, right?

Hi!! This has probably already been asked but I can’t find anything on it. Do you have any plans to continue with the clockmaster?? I really enjoyed reading it and would love to see more of it if you’re wanting to do anything more with it!! No worries if not though, I just thought it was really funky and it made my brain happy :))

Yes, The Clockmaster is absolutely gonna continue!
The reason I stopped making The Clockmaster is a series of events, the major one being that 3 years ago I suffered an arm injury that came with 24/7 chronic pain, which really took a toll on me and my relationship with drawing. For a period of time I couldn't create and after that drawing anything came with soul destroying pain which made it impossible to create new pages on a weekly basis. I am still dealing with it but after 3 years of physio and what not I am doing better than ever, and as you might have seen I'm even making comics again :)
I know the comic's been gone for quite some time but I have not lost any interest in making it. More than that, during my break I learned a lot about storytelling, making comics, making my process more efficient among many other things, so I'd like to think when TCM comes back it will be a delightful read haha! I hope the two bigass doujinshis I created during the break stand as a proof of that!
However, when it comes back The Clockmaster will definitely be released in a new format - I don't think I will be doing weekly updates anymore, I will be releasing it in chapters. Longer breaks, but each update will be a nice lengthy read.
The main reason for that is that having created two whole comic books during my time away I learned I find it so much easier, more enjoyable and preferable to create and finish comics in their entirety prior to anyone seeing them. I think the doujinshis have much better pacing, the economy of storytelling comes into play big time, and the emotional buildups and payoffs land way better. I want that for The Clockmaster! I want it to be excellent! I want to see the whole dang forest and not just the trees :)
However, to be completely honest, the earliest Clockmaster will come back is winter 2024. The reason for that is so far my schedule is looking positively packed for the upcoming months. Firstly, I want to conclude the 2nd asoryuu doujinshi extravaganza and I predict the last orders will be sent out in March. After that I will be moving between countries. I don't want to disclose too much info about my private life but many things will change for me and things will be hectic at least until August if not September 2024. As I said, I want to release The Clockmaster in bigger chunks now, so the chunk will have to be drawn. That will take months. But it's coming back! Meet me here same time next year and Orion, Rosie and Garret will be right there with me!!
Lasty, to conclude this essay of an answer: Thank you for saying you enjoyed reading it. The Clockmaster is something very dear to my heart and even though I am creating it for myself there is this worrying voice at the back of my head that when it comes back noone will care, that it's been 3 years and everyone forgot, and that it's not fandom stuff so noone will give it the time of the day. But hearing you say you enjoyed reading it makes me feel that art is timeless in its ability to make people feel something and that I am capable of creating of art that does just that :)

October Progress Update
I haven't had as much time/energy for being on Tumblr lately, but I love seeing your asks and I hope to get to them soon! Poor neglected IF Seal also has some really interesting and lovely questions and I hope to answer them soon too.
I've mostly been working on the Royal Affairs expanded epilogue this fortnight: I submitted it, got it back and implemented my notes, and once I've sent it back the next stage is a limited beta test for continuity.
It's planned to be released as a free update sometime in January-March 2024, along with the ability to save your Royal Affairs game for future Honor Bound import. I'll let you know the exact date closer to the time! I'm thrilled to have done this! It was very joyful to revisit the characters and give them a little adventure.
It is... twice the length I was planning. I have learned a lot about scope estimation from this.

He runs a hand over his beard while he waits for your answer. A few seconds later, his hip juts out, arms akimbo, and he bites his bottom lip expectantly.
You just walk off toward your phone on the kitchen counter and call the nurse hotline back.

Diaper change is next, and then because Ari happened to put on his favorite navy blue sweatshirt, he pulls out Rachel's navy blue onesie. Sue him. It's cute to match his kid.
Her big eyes get heavier and heavier, so Ari takes his chance to go check on you before Rach is even fully asleep.
He slips his shoes back on without tying them.
He's happy the first words out of your mouth once he opens the car door aren't an apology. Goodness knows when he needs a minute, he needs a minute. There's nothing wrong with that.
Ari wishes it weren't his fault though.
"Is she okay?" you ask with a watery voice.

Hello everyone!
Just want to start this off by saying thank you so much to everyone for all the support and enthusiasm you have for me and ATE. It's been really fun reading all the asks I receive everyday, like your reactions to new information that I release and your thoughts about the cast of ATE 😄
Now, November's almost over, so you know what that means? The holidays are right around the corner! 🥳
But you also know what that means? Finals are already at the corner 🥲
(As in, I'm having them in a little over 2 weeks 🥲)
The months of December 2023 to February 2024 are also going to be pretty hectic for me because aside from academics, I'm preparing for a significant production for my uni's orchestra (I have like, 7 or 8 pieces to prepare for 😅).
Because of this, I thought it would be best to inform you all now that I most likely won't be as active in answering asks, at least for the next few months. I'll still keep it open, but, uh, I might get back to you in March 😅
I'll also still be posting a few things about ATE here, like an FAQ, some intro posts for the rest of the Royal Fam, how the game's looking, stuff like that, so y'all know that ATE is still being worked on 😊 Still aiming for a January 2024 release, so I'm going to write a lot over my Christmas break when I'm not practicing or studying 😊

Australians are pretty Rowdy they like to have a good time yeah I like to have a good time gosh they were just like a little bit louder than the Argentinian crowd and I was not expecting that because Argentina was f****n loud and they were into it and and so was Sydney so Taylor's very fond of performing in Australia because of the crowds over there and how into it they get, so awesome shout out to Australia for showing up.
