Today I took the day off to go to a book fair with my mom and this is my small haul. I will have to say I got a bit overwhelmed by all the people there and all the sounds and general chaos so now I am exhausted, but I am happy with my finds. My mom gifted me this beautiful illustrated edition of The Silmarillion (which I'll be honest is in my long term tbr but I am glad I got my dream edition). I also found The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires for which I have been on a hunt for weeks and I was not expecting to find there. And finally I got a collection of short stories by Charlotte Perkins Gilman by this published I love. They make such curated and beautiful editions I am obsessed with their books and I plan on slowly collecting them since they mostly specialize in collection of short stories by various authors who often write gothic and horror stuff (aka my absolute favourite thing). I am pretty sure the vampire horror will be my next read, but I still have a few chapters of A Psalm For The Wild Built to read before I move onto something else.

We found a lost little white bunny yesterday evening and we took it to the vet to be microchipped but sadly it didn’t have one. We also asked the neighbors if they lost a bunny. Sadly no.

And it’s really really cute.

If we can find someone to care for him I’d be happy to let him go..

The problem is I’ve already secretly named him Moon.

Or Cilantro.

I can’t decide. 🙈

I no longer have any hope of survival like I had at the beginning of this genocide, and I am certain that I will die in the next few weeks or maybe days. I have been sick with severe viral infection for days and cannot move from the mattress!

I suffer from nightmares that are so closely resemble reality that I no longer differentiate between reality and dream.

I live in a world other than the one I claimed to be building! I am a community activist who lived on the fantasy that the world was free and just, and I sought to bring rights not only to my people, but to many men and women in third world countries!

I was shocked that I was not from the third world! Indeed, we are the most humane and moral! Yes, because the world approves, supports, and finances the genocide we are being subjected to, legislates it, and gives reasons for for 58 days! While we are a people who have been living on occupied land for 75 years and are still searching for our rights and communicating our voice to the world!

My message to the world: You are not innocent of what is happening to us, you as governments or peoples that support Israel’s annihilation of my people. We will not forgive you, we will not forgive you, humanity will not forgive you, we will not forget, even if we die, the history will never forget .

A Message to friends: Thank you and the supporters around the world. You have been compassionate and very strong. We ask you not to lose hope, even if the world seems completely unfair and your efforts have not yet resulted in a ceasefire.

I am in my grandparent era, just with no kids around which honestly is better lol.

The garden gnome adventures have begun (thanks to @ben-learns-smth for coming up with the name I am obsessed with it). Half of the weekend has been filled with finally working on my vegetable garden. It's the first year I am taking care of it all by myself (with some help from my parents when they have time) and everything's finally set up. We put up the support for the tomatoes yesterday and today I finally planted everything, and I also had time to plant three new lavender plants in a little hidden spot at the back of the house. Yesterday I also managed to get some study done, though I have not planned yet my study for the upcoming week. I have to say I am still in that weird period in which I wake up tired every single day. I don't know if it's a mental or physical thing, probably both. I am trying to take care of myself but I just have very little energy, especially mental and emotional energy. I feel overwhelmed very easily lately and I cannot wait for this to stop. If I am doing something and I can fully focus on that activity it feels better, but as soon as I am done with the task I can feel a weight pulling me down but I don't know what to do about it. And I also feel like on one single day I go through the whole spectrum of shrimp emotions and I could very much do without.
