#So then we stopped inviting you to everything and you complained that we were excluding you from certain things

I think deliberately ignoring and spurning any attempts friends make to speak to you and then claiming no one cares about you when they move on isn't depression babe, thats you being a cunt. hope this helps

Pay it no mind
Part V
In which reader confesses their feelings to Gojo, but it seems these are not returned (maybe?).
Warnings: reader is on the receiving end of rejection (kinda), and the fact that I'm obsessed with unrequited love is a warning itself.
Previous: Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV
----------------------
“Geto says they are on their way.” Shoko put away her phone and looked at the waiter you had been stealing glances at while he was taking the order at a nearby table.
You had found that coffee shop not long ago one day you had been out on your own, but you had dragged Ieiri there several times since then. It started as...
“I found this nice place near that store you liked the other day.”
“Oh, really?” Shoko had said.
“I think you would like it. We should go together next time.”
Once there, Shoko had realized rather quickly that the waiter was particularly friendly towards you. That is how you had to tell her he had noticed the anime keychain hanging from your bag the first time you stopped by (he was a fellow fan), and then small talk turned into a nice conversation, and next thing you knew was you were telling him you would see him next time. And you had, many times after that.
So, whether you were coming alone or with Ieiri, he always served your table and chatted a little with you. Had school been rough that day? Had you seen the last episode of that anime yet? He was reading something new, maybe you would like it too.
Shoko would participate in your conversation just enough not to make you feel like you were excluding her, but she was not really interested in all of that. Your likes differed. She did not want, however, to prevent you from making friends with people who shared your interests.
“I’ll admit that he is cute, but is he cuter than me?" Shoko sighed. "He must be if you are ignoring me for him.” She rested her face on her palm and looked at the table the guy in question was tending to.
You smiled at her fake jealousy. “Stop it...” you said shaking your head lightly and beaming at her. “No one is cuter than you.”
She gave you a side smile. Gojo would kill me if he heard you, you know?
Young as she was at that moment, Ieiri had never tried to analyze the depth of Gojo's feelings in any circumstances. She had always thought it pointless. So, when he had introduced you and said you were his close childhood friend, she had just accepted it. The possibility of him holding deeper feelings would only cross her mind later, but one thing had been evident to her since the beginning: Gojo liked your attention more than anyone else's.
“Are you going to ask him out or are we just going to keep coming here until I have tried everything there is in the menu?” Shoko's voice was soft, but a flushed color rose to your cheeks at the thought that Ikeda may have heard her.
“Well, is not like that…”
“Oh, good, you ordered something already,” Gojo said plopping down on the seat next to you while Suguru greeted both of you and sat next to Shoko.
Satoru then took a long sip of your iced tea.
“That’s mine! Get yours,” you complained but only received his silly smirk in return.
“Excuse him, [name], you know how he gets when he is outside,” Suguru defended calmly, looking at the menu Shoko had handed him.
“He is like this all the time.” You sighed, and Gojo nudged you. Shoko looked amused by your situation.
Gojo rolled his eyes. “Why did you invite me if you did not want me around?”
“You invited yourself,” you hissed. “I am glad you are here, though, Geto.” You smiled at the latter.
Gojo was going to claim he had been your friend for longer and it was unfair Geto always got better treatment, but then he saw Suguru and Shoko looking up to the figure that had materialized next to your table.
“Is everything okay around here?” a guy wearing a black apron who seemed to be around their age asked. “Looks like the rest of the party is here. Would you like to order anything else?”
Suguru ordered something and Satoru did too. Ieiri said she was okay, and then the waiter looked at you. “And you, [name]?”
Gojo looked at him. Had he addressed you by your name? That was a bit weird.
“I’m alright. Thanks, Ikeda.”
And it looked like you knew him as well? His focus shifted to you. Suguru had also picked up on it and, after that Ikeda guy had walked away, he was the one to ask. “You know each other?”
For some reason, the cunning smile that appeared on Ieiri’s lips made Gojo uncomfortable.
“Something like that...I have been coming here for a while now.” You scratched your wrist, and Gojo wondered if you were nervous. He knew all your quirks by heart now and you did that when you were, he was sure.
Suguru hummed and dismissed it, but Shoko saw an opportunity to tease you. “He certainly makes this place look brighter, doesn’t he, [name]?”
Gojo looked at you from the corner of his eye. Were you blushing?
“And I bet he thinks you are cute too. We should ask him, no?” Shoko pressed on.
You shook your head and laughed. Now you were really red, which made Shoko laugh too. It was usual for her to tease you like that when cute-coffee-shop-waiter-guy (as she had started referring to him) was around, but it was the first time Geto and Gojo had joined you there and witnessed it.
Geto did not fully understand what you two were all about, but he enjoyed seeing his friends having fun. Nevertheless, he did not miss the straight line that had replaced Satoru’s usual smile.
***
“You are supposed to go the other way.” Gojo kept furiously pressing the buttons of his controller.
“This is a shortcut.” You were sitting next to him on the floor of his room because he had invited you to play video games with him.
Since he had started high school, Gojo had been spending a lot of time with Geto. At first, you had felt displaced, but Geto was nice and, after having Satoru attached to your hip for so many years, maybe finding another kindred spirit would be good for him, and just maybe, it would be good for you to do the same.
That made you think of your new friend, the one Shoko insisted thought you were cute.
“Girls must like him. He is a pretty face,” Shoko had recognized the first time she saw Ikeda.
She had been right; you had noticed it from the start too. Ikeda’s eyes were pretty, and his smile was kind, plus, he was so friendly. When he told you his mother had named him Haruki just because he had been born in the spring, you thought it really suited him.
But that only meant you had a high opinion of him, right? It was not like you really liked him the way Shoko believed, was it?
“Satoru,” you made your character jump on the screen, “have you ever liked someone?”
Gojo’s sight remained on the game. “What do you mean?”
“I mean, how do you know you like someone like… you know… romantically?”
Gojo’s fingers faltered over the buttons of his controller. “Hmm…” He saw your avatar getting hit by an enemy attack and dying in the game. If you could not back him up, that meant he would lose too, right? “I don’t know… I guess you just like them and...”
You had left your controller on the floor and were looking at him intently.
It was getting dark outside, but he could still see your features clearly.
“And?” you urged him.
He was not sure of what to say. What did it even mean to like someone that way? He thought Inoue Waka was attractive. Did that count?
He shrugged. “And... you just know.” He did not want to give you a dumb answer, but he was not great with this kind of questions either.
You averted your gaze. “But it is different than when you like a friend, isn’t it?”
Satoru pondered it for a bit.
Is it?
“I guess…” He pushed you gently and put on his best smile. “Why does it matter anyway? Are you interested in romance now?" He was being playful, but you felt like he had seen through you.
"You think I should?"
He smiled. "Nope. You have me, right? I’m a boy and your friend. What would you need a boyfriend for?”
You returned his smile. "You are right, I wouldn't have time for him. You are too high maintenance."
With the way you were smiling at him, Satoru thought you could easily find someone if you wanted to.
Maybe you are right. Maybe it feels different...
"Oh... We lost." You were looking at the screen showing the message 'game over'.
Satoru should have known that was foreshadowing.

Note: And... Cut! I really wanted to write them in their high school years, so here's a peek.

Awkward Confessions — Timothy Klitz x fem! reader
Tumblr media
Summery: Reader gains the nerves to ask her crush out, though Klitz fumbles...
tw: Eli, that's it
wc: 0.7k
Master List
Tumblr media
“Did you bang her?” The oh so familiar voice of Eli whisper shouted. Currently, I sat at lunch with Eli, Matt, and Klitz. I joined their group in my sophomore year. My friend group was really bad (they excluded me from everything), so when I met Klitz and I started to hang out with him and his friends, I decided that I would cut off my old friend group.
And honestly? It was amazing now. Okay that may be an exaggeration, my old friend group would completely ignore me like they never knew me, but it’s better than them bullying me. But still, having a group of friends that actually seem to like me and invite me out with them was much better than before.
“Is that always your go to?” I asked incredulously. “Actually never mind, I know it is.”
“Why’d you even ask?” Klitz asked with a small laugh.
“No Eli,” Matt sighed out. “I did not bang her, she literally just asked me to move over because I was blocking her locker.”
“I don’t know Matt,” I said out in a teasing tone. “I think that’s a signal that she wanted to fuck. I mean that’s all women want to do apparently.”
“You’re different ok (Y/n),” Eli groaned and I raised an eyebrow in questioning.
“Am I?” I asked with a tilt of my head.
“Well you’re just...” Eli trailed waving a hand towards me. “You’re just you.”
“Oh so you’ve seen me past your objectified view,” I nodded. Yeah I wasn’t afraid to call Eli out on his behavior towards women, but he always took it as a joke...or he probably complained about me after I left.
“Not this again,” Eli groaned out rolling his eyes. “I can’t help that women are hot.”
“So I’m not hot?” I asked.
“I mean you’re cute I guess,” Eli shrugged. “Just not exactly hot material.”
Klitz smacked the back of Eli’s head, “That’s just rude.”
“Well you think she’s hot shit,” Eli said defensively.
I felt my heart stutter at the revelation as Klitz looked away. This didn’t help my crush I held on Klitz. I started realizing my crush on him this year (it being near the end of junior year). The way he was so kind to me, and how well we got along. It just kinda clicked in my head randomly that I liked him.
~~~~
“OH MY GOD!” My friend shouted at me, shaking my shoulders. They were the only friend I trusted enough to tell about my crush. They had all the info so this only sparked them to say what I already knew.
“Just ask him out already!” They exclaimed in frustration. “And I’m serious! What’s even stopping you?”
“Well let’s see,” I said fake thinking. “He doesn’t actually like me and its just a joke between the three of them and I ruin everything.”
“That just sounds like your anxiety talking,” They replied crossing their arms.
“I mean yeah...” I trailed off. “But it’s still a possibility.”
All of a sudden Klitz passed us as he left the school (it was the end of the day after all) and my friend abruptly called out his name. Effectively stopping him in his tracks and turning to us, and I did notice the way his eyes lingered on me.
“Did you need something?” He asked out sweetly, and I stared at my friend, gravely concerned at what they may respond with.
“Yeah, I just wanted to tell you that (Y/n) over here has-” I cut them off by covering their mouth. They tried to wrestle with me but I was literally whisperering to them to stop talking and that I would tell him. This seemed to please them.
“W-what?” Klitz stuttered out confused.
“Let’s go home together and I’ll tell you,” I sighed out and let go of my friend. I glared at them as Klitz nodded in agreement. Gripping the strap of my backpack, we walked alongside each other towards his car. I tried to think of a way to recover but I decided my friend was right. I needed to get this out, even if it means I stop being friends with Klitz.
But that thought churned my stomach. I felt sick. I lifted my gaze slowly towards Klitz’s side profile but I was surprised when I made eye contact.
Awkwardly coughing, Klitz spoke up first, “If you don’t want to tell me then you don’t have to.”
Taking in a deep breath I replied, “No, no it’s fine. I should tell you, I’m just scared.”
“Scared?” He asked as we approached his car. He unlocked it and I entered the passenger side. I fiddled with the seatbelt as he started the car.
“M-maybe nervous is a more accurate term,” I shrugged, glancing up at him.
“Did I do something to make you feel this way?” He asked quickly, a look of concern across his features. “You can always tell me something, I swear I won’t judge.”
I felt my stomach flutter. That was the problem Klitz! You’re so sweet and actually care about me, it makes my head spin! You make me feel too many things, and I can’t get you out of my head!
“I...can I say it before I leave?” I asked in a hopeful tone. “Even if you don’t have a bad reaction, you know I’m a big chicken and I just...I don’t think I could handle the reaction I think you’re going to have.”
“Yeah,” Klitz breathed out. “Yeah that’s fine, whatever you’re comfortable with.” And with that he drove off. I knew my words made him anxious as well and I felt bad for that. I didn’t want to be the cause for such negative feelings.
“What I’m gonna tell you isn’t bad, if that’s what you’re thinking,” I tried to reassure. “I’m not pregnant or anything I swear.” He smiled slightly at the joke I cracked.
“I’d hope that wouldn’t be a worry,” He joked back.
“Well if I were than it’d actually be a ‘miracle’ from God because I still haven’t done anything of the sort,” I laughed lightly. The previous tension wasn’t all gone, but it was nicer now, our old energy coming back.
All too quickly, we pulled up in front of my house. I stared out for a second, trying to not second guess my next few actions I was going to do. Looking back at Klitz who was smiling at me, I felt my heart melt. Well here goes nothing.
“Klitz,” I called out, already having his attention. “I...I have a crush on you, and I just wanted you to know. You probably don’t like me like that,  but I just...yeah. I hope we can still be friends, or like...not hate me or anything.”
Once I finished rambling it was dead silent. The only noise being the car engine. I waited for a few seconds, Klitz seemingly stunned to silence. I couldn’t take it though. So I opened the door and quickly got out.
“Bye Klitz, drive home safely,” And then I closed the door. I basically sprinted into my house, trying not to cry. Shit, shit, shit, shit! I ran into my room and just laid there thinking about my life and how it got to this point.
~~~~
“YOU DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING BACK?” Eli shouted into his phone receiver. “YOU’VE BEEN WANTING TO FUCK HER FOR FOREVER!”
“I was shocked!” Klitz retaliated. “And now I fucked it up and she probably thinks I hate her.”
“Dude,” Eli said strangely calm. “Hang the fuck up, and call her right now.” Before Klitz could do just that, his phone beeped, alerting him that Eli hung up.
Staring at his phone, he took in a deep breath. Then he pulled up the girl of his dreams phone number, still in awe that he even had it. Slightly hesitating, not exactly sure what he was going to say, he decided to just press call and hope for the best.
~~~~
“Hello?” I asked, confused as to why Klitz called me so late. It was obviously something to do with my shitty confession, but I didn’t want to think about it.
“(Y/n),” Klitz sighed out in relief. “I don’t hate you.”
A small smile made its way onto my face. Its kinda cute how that was what he was worried about.
“Well that’s a relief,” I said with an awkward laugh.
“I could never hate you,” Klitz continued, just letting his feelings take over. “It’s kinda the opposite. I’ve had a crush on you for as long as I can remember.” I felt my heart flip at his confession. I couldn’t help but let out a giggle. “I really really like you, and honestly...I never thought you’d like me like that.”
“Well I do,” I replied back. I couldn’t stop beaming. “Perhaps we could go on a date tomorrow.”
“YES! I-I mean yeah, of course!”
“See you tomorrow then,” I said, hugging myself.
“See you.” I squealed as quietly as I could, rolling around in my bed. I couldn’t wait for tomorrow.
Found a whole bunch of vegetarian and vegan food for my partner and kid to have this year again and each year it’s getting so much better for this! The embracing of diet which isn’t just slabs of meat everywhere is wonderful and has needed to happen for many years. Not everyone can cook a vegetarian meal from scratch! And come ON, party food? Hello??? It was rarely stocked out here in the countryside like it was more so in the city. I’m glad I could do this for them. Vegan tempura nests? And things like faux king prawns and all kinds of things! Vegan turkey? Wreaths? No pressure for nut roast and biscuits or fkin nothing (exaggeration but not really). I’m seeing dozens of people queuing at the Butchers and is that because they wanna or is it because they think they have to? Or what?
I’m not strictly vegetarian and anyone that makes the excuse that they’re not vegetarian so “can’t” incorporate decent vegetarian food into the holiday meals are just being lazy aha, you’re eating half a plate of vegetarian food which lets be honest, it’s pretty lame I mean potatoes and sprouts, sprouts being one of the most famous gross vegetables available😂.
“I don’t get people who decide to go plant based and then buy food that looks like meat”, well, why do people who eat meat buy food that doesn’t “look like meat”? Because a sausage sure doesn’t look like a pig. Likewise, why? Just because you don’t want to eat an animal, doesn’t mean you don’t get to be allowed to enjoy the taste, aha. It allows people to still eat it without needing to eat an animal and not enjoying that aspect. Intolerant meat eaters complain a lot about the “nasty taste of vegetables” then get aggy about people otherwise enjoying the taste more than a plain carrot (for example).
There’s so many delicious foods out there that don’t require incredibly expensive cuts of meat with everything! It just irritates me sometimes how OTT people go when it comes to eating meat unnecessarily? And how rude some get towards anyone does anything else. There’s never a need for the whole table to be full of meat food and upset faces of people who don’t eat it once again going without. 😩 Season of family and friends though right? 👀 It’s not hard to be selfless and incorporate plant based options for people, it isn’t! I am the minority for eating meat in my little family, I don’t eat much but it all works fine! Nobody is ever left out. I don’t get the flat out refusal to try. It’s not just often vegetables with no seasoning on which is what most people will only add on the side of a steak as it is?
It’s not hard to Google what to do either if you don’t know, or dare say it, ask. This isn’t just with vegetarian/vegan food, this is having things to hand for a plate of food for anyone with a different diet to you that you’re inviting. Diabetic, allergies, dishes which respect their faith if they’re wanting to come over to respect yours or your traditions as well, the least you can do is return it. If you can’t afford it, say they are free to bring their own food that they know they can eat or would like to, so everyone can sit down comfortably and have a meal and enjoy themselves rather than old school culture of feeling forced.
I love ketchup on loads of food. Roast dinner included! It makes everything nicer for me and even more so when I used to dislike gravy as a kid but I got endless comments about it. It doesn’t matter! It’s a time to enjoy a treat, and food we love, like any other holiday or special occasion. That’s the point. Stop making people uncomfortable excluding them!
Happy solstice for the 21st as well~ and a good autumn and winter for any other things people were doing during this time. 🍵
Share what you got up to if you like, I’d love to hear it, in my comments or ask box! Or, what you enjoyed eating for a treat or for any religious holiday you’ve engaged with. Have a lot of fun and also if I don’t get chance to say it before, Happy New Year!
Ozpin's Case Files
Tumblr media
Staff Meeting
Attendance: Ezra Ozpin (Executive Director), Qrow Branwen (Volunteer)
Date: July 5th, 2013
Purpose: Staff discussed a disagreement that took place yesterday (7/4/13).
Tumblr media
Still nothing.
Not a single call or text, anything to break the radio silence. Oz tried to brush it aside, focus on the day ahead of him, but that was easier said than done. His agenda consisted mostly of writing reports and listening to presentations. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t stop his mind from drifting to that one conversation.
I should have known better. His pen froze just above the page. He gripped it in a tight fist before releasing it, leaving it to clatter onto the desk. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he sighed.
How could one stupid invitation cause such anger and stress?
Qrow did always have the same emotional response to everything, Oz lamented. If he was stressed or sad or anxious… or insecure.
Damnit all to hell.
Oz picked up his pen and quickly filled out what was left of the report in front of him. The more he wrote, the worse his handwriting became, the emotion pouring through every stroke. He shuffled the papers into their files, a frustrated sigh spilling from his mouth as he stood up. As he slipped the files into their proper cabinets, he heard a gentle rap at the door.
“Come in,” he said half-heartedly as he watched the filing cabinet slide shut.
“Uh… Hey, Oz.”
Oz snapped his attention to the sound of his partner’s voice. “Oh. Hello, my love. Is-? Are you-?” He cleared his throat. “How are you…?”
Qrow shrugged. “I’m… uh… it doesn’t matter. I’m just here to apologize.”
“You are?”
“Yeah…” Qrow rubbed the back of his neck. “Listen, I’m sorry, Oz,” he began, strolling up to his partner. “I was an ass. I overreacted, like I always do. You didn’t deserve that, and I’m just- I’m really sorry.”
Apology accepted, Oz wanted to say, but the words were stuck in his throat.
“The worst part is, I realized you were right,” Qrow went on. “I don’t belong there. So it’s okay-”
“No. It’s not.”
Qrow raised an eyebrow. “What?”
Oz sighed. “As much as I complain, this event is important. It’s the kind of event where we are encouraged to bring our spouses and partners and yet… Well, I chose to exclude you without your knowledge. That’s not okay.” Oz caressed Qrow’s cheek. “I’m sorry, too, love. For the way I handled this.”
Qrow smiled into the palm of Oz’s hand and planted a gentle kiss on it. “Can’t believe you just upstaged my apology like that.”
Oz let out a full, hearty laugh. He pulled Qrow into a tight embrace, paying him back with a kiss on the temple.
“Dick move, Oz,” Qrow added before burying his face in Oz’s neck.
With Qrow resting comfortably in his arms, Oz finally felt the pressure release in his chest. The tension he held so close since the minute Qrow stormed out and slammed the door behind him. The question he left trapped inside: What if he never comes back?
He no longer had to worry about that. There was only one question he needed the answer to now.
Oz let go, releasing Qrow for just a second. He put his hands on his partner’s shoulders and looked him in the eyes. “So. Qrow Branwen. Would you do me the honor of accompanying me to the most pretentious gathering on Remnant?”
Qrow grinned from ear to ear. “Oz. The honor is all mine.”
juliet’s masterlist
note: obviously i don’t know what exactly happened that day at mama/award shows in general, so this is mainly based on my own imagination!!
words in bold are spoken in english!!
set on december 5, 2019
summary: juliet catches the eye of a certain someone at mama 2019, and got to meet him all thanks to one jung wooyoung.
a/n: 👀
Tumblr media
“That ended way too soon,” Juliet sighs contentedly to Jongho, leaning into his shoulder. Though being exhausted physically from the long day and their performances, her heart has never felt this full.
If you told her a few years ago that she’d be invited to attend MAMA she’d surely laugh in disbelief, but here they are—having performed and received a award in front of one of the largest crowds she’s ever seen with eight of the most important people in her life.
If this is all a dream, Juliet never wants to wake up.
Jongho rests his head on hers. “Yeah,” he says softly, “it feels like... we really made it.”
“You didn’t feel that when we were on tour?” she teases.
“Of course I did, but you know what I mean.” Juliet nods against the crook of his neck. “I can’t believe we’d ever in be the same room as that many big names in the industry, you know?”
She hums. “We’ve come a long way.”
Despite the tender moment between the two youngest members, it’s chaos all around them as their staff hastily packs everything—props, makeup, accessories, costumes, the works—back into suitcases and boxes as they prepare to leave the venue.
“Where are you going?” Jongho asks when Juliet shifts to get up.
“Washroom,” she answers, and he nods before shooing her away jokingly.
Laughing, she slips out of ATEEZ’s waiting room and into the hallway. In her hoodie and matching sweatpants under a long coat, Juliet would’ve blended in with the staff members rushing around to wrap everything up if it weren’t for her styled hair and glittery makeup, both of which she decided to keep on until they get back to the dorms. Just to prolong the magical feeling from tonight.
Just as she’s about to go into the washroom, she hears someone—definitely Wooyoung—shout her name from behind.
“Found you!” Wooyoung, dressed as casually as she is, says gleefully as he pulls her in the opposite direction. “Thank me later, okay?”
“For what? For abducting me outside the women’s restroom?”
Wooyoung snorts. “There’s a good reason—”
“I don’t think there’s ever a good enough justification for stopping someone from going to the toilet! Besides, our managers said we have to leave soon!”
“Yes, there is! Because I’m taking you to meet your favourite seniors!”
Juliet stops in the middle of the crowded hallway. “Wait, who?” she asks suspiciously with narrowed eyes.
Wooyoung’s eyes practically shine when he answers, “SEVENTEEN-sunbaenim!”
“Huh? Why would they want to—Yow! If you keep pulling that hard my arm’s gonna fall off!” she whines as he continues to tug her down the corridor. “How do you even know them?”
“I ran into Seungkwan-sunbaenim in the washroom, and he complimented our performance before saying he’d love to meet more of our members!” Wooyoung explains, oblivious to the way Juliet’s eyes widen. “I was gonna go to our waiting room to grab all of you, but then I realised we probably have to leave soon and was about to turn back when I saw you! This is it!” he finishes excitedly, stopping in front of a door with a label saying ‘SEVENTEEN’ attached to it.
He’s about to knock on the door when her hand shoots up to catch his fist. “Wait! I can’t go in there!” she suddenly protests. “It’s going to be so awkward.”
Wooyoung frowns confusedly. “Huh? Why? We’re just gonna introduce ourselves and stay for a few minut—oh. Oh. Are you still embarrassed by what happened during the show?” he teases, giggling at the way her gaze averts. “Aigoo, it’s going to be okay! I promise you it wasn’t a big deal.”
“She’s amazing,” Juliet leans closer to Wooyoung to murmur dreamily as they watch Chungha’s performance, eyes not leaving the small screen placed in front of their seats. “Everything about this is incredible.”
“I know,” Wooyoung agrees, equally as starstruck. “Also, did you notice we’re sitting in front of SEVENTEEN-sunbaenim?” he asks in a much quieter voice. “Don’t look, though! Act natural.”
“I wasn’t even gonna look!” she complains before whispering, “but yeah, I wanted to tell you but then the show started and I didn’t want them to hear me.”
“You don’t think they can hear us now, right?”
“I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure the music and crowd are too loud for that.”
Wooyoung hums in acknowledgement before they continue to pay full attention to the performance, Juliet mouthing along to the lyrics and subtly doing the key points of the dance.
She gasps quietly when the dance break starts, fully entranced by Chungha’s performance and decides she wants a better view of the choreography, so she cranes her head to find one of the big screens located all around the dome.
The moment she turns to look behind her for said screens, her eyes meet those of SEVENTEEN’s maknae. If she weren’t so startled, she would’ve found the situation more amusing from the way both of their eyes widened before quickly looking away, and she feels the embarrassment burn hot within her as she decides to stick to watching the smaller screen in front of her instead.
“What’s wrong?” Wooyoung asks as Chungha’s performance ends, noticing how Juliet had stiffened up, a stark contrast to her relaxed form from when they were enjoying the other performances.
“Come closer,” she mutters, gesturing with her hand for him to lean in before whispering, “I was trying to watch the big screen just now and accidentally made eye contact with Dino-sunbaenim for a few seconds.”
Wooyoung snorts. “I swear, these things only happen to you, dummy. What happened after that?”
“I turned the frick back around, of course!” Juliet whispers back furiously. “It was so embarrassing.”
“If someone caught that on camera and puts it on YouTube or Twitter or whatever, I’m never letting you live that down.”
Juliet groans and buries her head in her hands, ignoring Wooyoung’s giggles and San’s curious whine of “What? What were you guys talking about?”
The sound of firm knocking snaps Juliet out of her thoughts.
“Jesus, Wooyoungie, you’re going to wake the dead knocking like that,” she mutters in a pitiful attempt to distract herself from the pounding in her chest. Truly, she doesn’t know how Wooyoung handles meeting new people with so much ease. She could never.
“It’s them! I got it!” A voice says from inside the room, one that unmistakably belongs to Seungkwan, calls out. There’s a few seconds of hurried footsteps before the door is thrown open, revealing the beaming main vocalist of SEVENTEEN.
“Hello,” Wooyoung and Juliet say in unison, bowing to their senior.
“Oh, there’s no need for that!” Seungkwan says kindly, inviting them into the room. Juliet sticks close to her member as various staff members crane their necks to observe the newcomers, hoping that hiding behind Wooyoung will make her less visible to everyone. Thankfully, the staff quickly turns back to their work, paying them no further attention as the trio move further into the waiting room.
Juliet feels like her ears are on fire, barely registering Wooyoung explain to Seungkwan that he didn’t have time to bring the others. Then she realises who Seungkwan is leading them to, and her heart drops.
Is it too late to run away?
Apparently not, as Wooyoung seems to have noticed her slowing footsteps and proceeds to gently pull her along by the sleeve of her oversized hoodie. She wonders where the nearest hole to bury herself in is when Seungkwan calls out to two of his members, and she’s sure her cheeks are bright red when Vernon and Chan look up at the approaching trio.
“Look who I brought,” Seungkwan sings as the two ATEEZ members murmur greetings before introducing themselves.
Juliet thinks she’s about to pass out when Chan gets up and offers his seat to her. “No, no, you don’t have to,” she says shyly, frantically waving her hands, “we won’t be staying long anyways.”
“It’s okay,” he murmurs, “there are spare chairs right there.”
She feels a small nudge on her other side, turning her head in that direction to find Wooyoung wriggling his brows at her. Utterly mortified, she looks away from her member to thank Chan profusely instead, before hesitantly sitting in the chair he was occupying just a minute ago.
Is it just her, or is the room getting unbearably hot? Taking a deep breath, she removes her coat and drapes it over the back of the chair while Chan drags over two more chairs for him and Wooyoung.
“Are you okay?” Vernon asks worriedly from beside her, noting her red cheeks and ears. “I can turn down the heat, if you want.”
“Oh, no. I’m good, thank you,” Juliet replies sheepishly, wringing her fingers together nervously. “I just turn red really easily when embarrassed... because... this is... kinda awkward.”
He laughs good-naturedly. “We don’t bite,” he assures, “congratulations on your award, by the way.”
“Thank you, you too. We loved your performance,” she says genuinely. “We were all jamming out back there.”
“Ah, I wish we were there to see yours. We were preparing for ours during it so I only caught snippets of it. You were also the one giving the speech in English earlier, right?”
“Yeah, I’m from Australia so I usually take care of the English speeches.”
“Explains the accent.”
“I get that a lot,” Juliet says wryly, eliciting chuckles from the both of them.
“Yah, are you two excluding us because we can’t speak English?”
“Yeah!” Wooyoung chimes in in support of Seungkwan, “what were you two talking about?”
Juliet cocks a brow at him. “Are you sure you want to know?”
To her delight, Vernon plays along. “What if we tell you that we’ve been gossiping about you three the entire time?”
“What’s this about gossip I hear?” Jeonghan cheekily butts in, appearing in the space between Juliet and Wooyoung. She squeaks from surprise, and looks up to find him already grinning down at her. “Hi.”
“H-hello, Jeonghan-sunbaenim.”
Seungkwan bats him away. “Hyung! You’re scaring the poor girl. Also, this zone is for maknaes only, shoo shoo!”
Juliet smiles, the scene in front of her reminding her of ATEEZ’s sibling-like dynamic. Jeonghan’s presence lessens the awkward energy even more, and soon she can feel the tenseness dissipate from her body, starting to genuinely relax as she engages with the others. Sadly, their animated conversation only lasts for a couple more minutes when Wooyoung gets a message from Jongho asking for his whereabouts and if he’s seen Juliet.
“Oops, I think they’re looking for us,” he tells her, sounding completely unapologetic (though she can’t really blame him this time). “We should probably go.”
Juliet agrees, watching in amusement when Seungkwan asks for Wooyoung’s number because this is probably the most starstruck she’s ever seen Wooyoung look.
“See? That wasn’t so bad, was it?” He rejoices on the way back to their dressing room. “I got Seungkwannie-hyung’s number, and you got to meet the others! You had fun!”
“Okay, I’ll admit that it was pretty f—”
Juliet suddenly stops cold, cutting herself off with a loud gasp as her hands fly up to cover her mouth from shock.
Wooyoung’s eyes widen in alarm as his head whips around frantically. “What? What’s wrong? What did you see?”
“I... I think I left my coat in their room. I put it on the back of the chair and... forgot to take it when we left.”
He blinks at her owlishly while her words sink in. Then he starts cackling.
“Stop! This isn’t funny!” Juliet wails. “What do I do?”
“What do you mean? Go back and grab it, of course!”
“Can’t you do it for me?” she pleads, giving him her best puppy eyes.
Wooyoung scoffs. “No way. That’d be rude. I’ll wait for you here while you go get it.”
“You’re actually the worst,” she groans, though they both know she doesn’t mean it.
He pats her on the back. “You’ll thank me sometime in the future.”
Juliet frowns at his cryptic tone before heading back to SEVENTEEN’s room with an exaggerated sigh that she made sure Wooyoung heard. The humiliation is already starting to build in her gut, creating a churning feeling in her stomach. Talk about leaving a questionable impression, she thinks dejectedly. Must she always be so forgetful?
“Juliet-ssi?”
Something within her crumbles like a tower built from toothpicks when she glances up to find herself face-to-face with none other than Lee Chan.
“I—um... you left your coat,” he says quickly, not quite meeting her eyes as he hands her the garment.
Juliet accepts it hurriedly with a bow, hugging the coat to her chest tightly for some semblance of comfort. From what, she doesn’t know. Probably the sheer embarrassment. “Thank you, I was... on my way to go get it.”
“Right, I... I’ll see you around?”
“Yeah... okay... thank you again.”
The two of them exchange one final nod before turning away and speed-walking in opposite directions.
She’s definitely changing her name and moving to Mars. Juliet Baek? Never heard of her.
“What did they say?” Wooyoung asks curiously when Juliet approaches him. His bewilderment increases tenfold when the girl strides right past him with rushed steps instead of stopping.
He jogs to catch up with her, raising a hand to poke at her cheek. “Aw, why are you blushing again? What happened?” he presses on with a coo, obviously teasing the maknae.
“Oh, nothing. I’m just never gonna show my face in this industry ever again.”
Do you have any fun Blade (or Planes Fire and Rescue) facts to share this fine day? :D I haven't finished going through his tag yet but I dig how passionate you are!!!
Yes!! Finally I can share some fun Piston Peak Gang facts! I know I rambled a bit about the Agusta Westland AW139 in a past post, but here's some other tidbits I've noticed about everybody:
Cabbie seems to have faded Air Force markings painted on him. At one point Dipper mentioned that he had been in the military, so this makes sense, but I never see it talked about.
In the scene where they're in the hangar showing Dusty various episodes of CHoPs (which Dipper mentions there are 139 episodes of, making it the same six seasons as it's this-world counterpart), everyone takes long, synchronized sips every time Blade (in the show) pulls out his hoist. This implies that they were playing a drinking game, making this a regular occurrence.
While they were doing this, we see Blade outside watching the storm. This means he was having trouble falling asleep, and that's probably very frequent for him. :(
On this similar note, I have a pretty strong theory that Maru is the only other person on the Air Attack team who actually understands Blade. It makes sense for the team to not invite Blade to the drinking games (even though it is a dick move on their part because they know he would feel super betrayed should he find out about it), they exclude him from everything else as well. Even when they attend the lodge party, everyone ends up going except him, because Blade wasn't invited.
You could say that they only exclude him because he's the chief and that might be similar to, say, hanging out with your boss, but we know for a fact that Blade isn't the person who manages or even pays them. Cad is. Blade just commands them mission-wise.
My idea started when I noticed this: When Cad comes up to complain about Dusty dropping retardant on those campers, he refers to Blade as his TV persona's name before leaving. This visibly annoys Blade, but he just leaves without saying anything. Dusty, however, is unfamiliar with this, and asks Dipper about it. Dipper tells Dusty to stop talking and not to mention it, but Dipper is known to joke around, so Dusty asks again. This is when we see Windlifter, one who's known as a very serious person, appear startled and shout at Dusty in his native language. I'm unsure exactly what he says, but it's something with great urgency that likely has the same meaning as "stop".
This implies that not only has this name that obviously bothers him been brought up to Blade before, but he's had a bad enough reaction to it that not only has it taught the rest of the team not to do it again, but it scared them. Now we already know from the hangar scene that they don't exactly know why this would bother him so much, as when Dusty asks why Blade is at Piston Peak instead of keeping up his TV career, everyone just brings up their own wild theories, including one of the smokejumpers saying they heard he "went cuckoo on the set". what the hell. Now obviously if he had just researched it enough he probably could've found out about the set's actual incident, so where did he hear this from? Or did he just make it up? Most importantly, why is he believing and/or spreading this rumor?
This implies that the team has seen this kind of "going cuckoo" behavior from Blade before. This was, when you look at the evidence, him giving an actual fucking trauma response from them teasing him. This is why they're so scared to tease him again, he got really upset and likely snapped at them. But when you put into perspective that they don't understand why it's a touchy subject, you realize that they just see Blade as a weirdo. Most PTSD or trauma-related symptoms are seen as negative traits. He shows many many signs of trauma (isolating himself, quick to anger, never does let his guard down, has trouble sleeping, quickly shows aggressive behavior when event is brought up, does everything to avoiding talking or otherwise thinking about the event *even the photo of Nick was covered up*, feeling guilty about the event, the reason he became a firefighter, everything), but Maru is the only one who actually recognizes this. Everyone else just seems to see Blade as an asshole and unstable, hence why they avoid being around him outside of work and think it's okay to talk about him behind his back.
And honestly? Blade sees them as family. If he knew they were saying these things about him, he would. Be devastated, really. Blade's mentioned close friends are Mayday and Maru, two very empathetic and friendly people, so there's no way Blade is unfriendly or just a bad guy. He's really sweet, we see this in the clips of him when he was still acting. If he found out that the people he trusts are meeting up and joking about him he'd be sad. He wouldn't blame them, but he'd be sad.
Like- they obviously teased him about something and he reacted in a way they didn't understand, he probably thought they just understood it was sensitive and left it alone. But in actuality, they didn't respect his privacy at all and just started teasing him when he wasn't there. Blade genuinely does care about his team, they're the only people we see him smile and joke around.
Either they exclude Blade because they see him as too much of an authority figure or they exclude him because they see him as too "distant" or "weird" but either way they care about him more in a work sense then in an actual well-being sense, even when Blade was almost fatally injured the most they really said was "Oh, Windlifter's in charge now!"
And after all he does for them. They're kinda jerks :/
“ i’m right here, when are you going to realize? ”
┏━━━━━⋇⋆⋆⋇❦⋇⋆⋆⋇━━━━━┓
Kozume Kenma couldn’t pinpoint the exact day in which he realized that he was eminently in love with you. He knew very well that it was sometime after your first “hello”, but the exact moment got whisked away in the many memories that included you.
The problem was, though, that you were eminently in love with and in a serious relationship with the boy he claimed as a best friend.
The first day that Kenma met you, he had to take several seconds to process. You were the only person, the only girl, that made him have to catch his breath at the mere sight. You were brighter than the sun, shined blue like the moon. You were stunning.
And you had your arm wrapped around Tetsurou Kuroo’s.
“Kenma!” Kuroo had called from across the room, waving at his friend. Kenma complied, phone in hand and moving through the crowds without so much as lifting an eye.
Kenma was dragged to a party with the volleyball team. It isn’t that he hated people, nor was he shy. He just didn’t see the point in pretending to enjoy something that wasn’t his thing. He never understood the desire most teens had in wanting to do stupid things and interact all of the time. It sounded exhausting.
“Kenma, this is my girlfriend.” Kuroo introduced you. And Kenma looked up to meet your eyes.
“Hello!” You greeted with a smile. You had to talk a bit louder than normal over the party’s music. “I’ve heard a lot about you. I’m glad we finally get to meet!”
“Same.” was Kenma’s reply. Though he wanted to say more.
As Kuroo continued to talk to the both of you, Kenma couldn’t help but watch you from his peripheral vision. You were, in simple terms, the most beautiful person he had ever met. How you managed to be so utterly taken with Kuroo he would never understand.
You kept one hand on Kuroo’s arm the entire time. Kenma could only define his feelings as jealousy.
Of course, he pushed those feelings down. Because he couldn’t possibly be in love at first sight. To his best friend’s girlfriend, of all people. No. Absolutely not.
When Kenma retreated to a corner of the house later that night, it was you who found him and sat beside him on the floor. He looked up from his game.
“Don’t stop on my account.” You told him, pulling out your phone. “Not one for parties?”
“Never have been.” He brought his head further down to shield his face with his hair. “I’m always dragged here by the team.”
“Yeah, I’m only here to meet Kuroo’s friends.” You admitted. He didn’t know if it was true or if it was a way to initiate conversation to get on his good side for your boyfriend. Either way, he turned his head to catch your (beautiful) eye. “But he decided that trying to beat Bokuto at the keg is his mission for the night.”
“Ah.”
With that, the both of you became closer. You met up with them at lunch, called him over discord to play games while both of you were at home. And Kenma felt himself falling harder and harder.
Oh, and he became your shoulder to cry on.
Because Tetsurou Kuroo might’ve been an amazing guy, a great team leader and captain, and an incredible friend; but he was a terrible boyfriend.
You were his first girlfriend, so there was room for learning and growth and improvement. But there were also faults in trying to build something that had no foundation.
Tumblr media
A couple of months passed, and the honeymoon stage had come to an end, was the first fight.
The reason behind the fight was long forgotten by now, but it had to do with communication. A joke turned into seriousness that it hadn’t meant to be, and it ended in a heated argument between you both. He had ended up calling you an awful name, so you left.
Kuroo called after you, instant regret and apologies rushing off of his lips, but you were already gone.
You ended up at Kenma’s. You knocked on his door with tears in your eyes and on your cheeks. How could he have said no?
With a small voice, you asked, “Can we just play games, please?”
“Of course.” Kenma replied without asking anything else.
He sat on his bed and you sat in a beanbag as you played a game on his TV. He didn’t say anything when he watched you cry silent tears. Instead, he handed you a juice and bag of chips.
You accepted, pretending that there weren’t tears streaming down your red face. Because he knew you, and knew that if you didn’t want to talk about it, he wouldn’t pressure you to.
“Mario Kart?” He offered.
“Oh, you want to lose?” You quipped. A quirk in the corner of your lips.
Even a small smile from you made him feel better. And fall harder.
When you returned home that night, Kuroo stood in the exact spot you had left him in. He immediately sent you a thousand apologies, voice choked. You forgave him before he even spoke
All relationships are rollercoasters, to say the very least. They have their ups and downs, their fast and slow parts, their beginning and end. Your relationship with Kuroo was definitely one of twists and turns.
Kenma sat on the sidelines and watched it all with a knot in his stomach. He held it down, further and further with each passing day.
Tumblr media
Immediately after one intense game that they inevitably won, Kenma searched for you. You rushed from the crowd and into your boyfriend’s arms, congratulating him and giving him a kiss on the cheek. Kenma wondered if the two of you had kissed at that point, you had been together for a month. He had to stop himself from going down that rabbit hole.
It was when you turned to him that Kenma’s entire world was put on pause. You were the only thing that could move.
“Congrats Kenma!” You cheered, bringing him in for a hug. Kuroo chuckled beside you as Kenma just stood with his arms at his sides, completely paralyzed. “You were amazing! What the fuck! That last play…”
Your voice was drowned out. You pulled away to talk more about how great he did during the game. But he couldn’t listen to the praise coming from your tongue. He just couldn’t.
Once you were out of earshot, Kuroo turned to him. With a big dorky smile on his face, Kuroo asked, “She’s the best, isn’t she?”
“Sure.” Kenma replied, but he wanted to go on and on.
Tumblr media
Becoming very good friends with Kozume Kenma resulted in a lot of third wheeling. Not that you would ever intentionally exclude him. In fact, you tried to make sure that he was a part of everything the two of you did. Even if it was just something as little as an invite.
The third wheeling mainly consisted of Kenma’s aching heart as he endured the presence of the two of you. Every time that he would catch a glimpse of your hand in Kuroo’s, or Kuroo’s hand on your thigh, or a quick kiss on the cheek, Kenma couldn’t help but wish that it was him instead.
Kuroo caught him staring, once.
He was dragged to a bonfire with the team, and he dreaded every second of it. He never understood why people would enjoy sitting around a fire and being eaten by bugs. He also didn’t like marshmallows.
You were sitting on Kuroo’s lap on a lawn chair, legs draped over his and your body curved into his side. Kenma couldn’t help but watch as he said something into your hair and you laughed, smacking Kuroo’s chest.
Kuroo found Kenma’s gaze. He sent him an oblivious smile and waved him over, thinking that Kenma was feeling awkward about sitting on the sidelines. Oh, how close he had been to the truth.
“Hey, Pudding Head.” Kuroo teased. “How are you doing?”
“I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?” You asked. You looked up from your position on his lap, and Kenma thought of a million things at once.
“Yeah.”
Kuroo offered the seat beside him, and Kenma accepted. Kuroo knew him better than anyone, this was something that he knew for certain. He wondered if his feelings for you had been obvious. Kuroo never brought it up.
The rest of the night consisted of Kenma pretending to not be affected by your whispering and giggling with his best friend.
Tumblr media
Kozume Kenma remembers one specific moment of his love more vividly than the rest.
You were at his house, hanging out on a day off. There were no tears, no anger or sadness towards your boyfriend. It was just a good time with just the two of you. Kuroo had something with his family, so he wasn’t present.
He didn’t remember exactly how the two of you ended up in this position, but he would not complain.
Your head laid in Kenma’s lap, hair fanned out along his thighs. You were watching him beat this game he just got, eyes focused on the screen. Kenma sat against the wall on his bed, arms on either side of your head with his controller in his hand in his best attempt to not touch you.
“Why don’t you like to touch me?” you asked him.
The question caught him off guard, and he had to hide the surprise on his face. “Hm?”
“Don’t pretend I haven’t noticed.” You shifted to look up at him. Kenma had to adjust his legs to hide something he didn’t think you wanted to see. “I figured that you might be a germaphobe or something, because you always seem to keep your distance or freeze up when I grab your wrist or hug you. But I don’t think you are one, considering you play volleyball with a bunch of sweaty men.”
“I. Um.” Kenma paused the game and looked down at you. Searching for excuses, racking his brain for any fake plausible answer that he could give you instead of I’m pretty sure that I’m in love with you and every time that the two of us make contact I feel like a firework about to explode (and it goes straight to a different part of me that I do not wish to discuss with literally anyone). Because that would go over well.
With the little thoughts he could muster, he lied, “I’m not used to girls voluntarily touching me.”
You accepted his answer, nodding with your head still against his thighs. He looked down to see that you were already staring back up at him. “What?”
“I was just wondering why girls weren’t throwing themselves over you.” You sent him a smile. He wanted to die. “You’re a catch. I promise I’ll be more careful if me touching you makes you uncomfortable.”
“It doesn’t.” Kenma quickly added. Maybe a little too quickly. “This,” he gestured to the current position the two of you laid in. “This doesn’t make me uncomfortable. I guess some things just take time.”
You smiled at him again. That stupid, gorgeous smile. “One day you’ll be so comfortable with me that you won’t even notice if I kiss you.”
The world was testing him. The gods were playing a game with him. He returned his attention to the game, hoping he wouldn’t collapse on the spot.
Tumblr media
One night, around half a year into your relationship, Kenma received a call at the asscrack of dawn. Groggily, he answered without looking at the caller.
“Hello?” He asked, voice heavy in sleep. Who would call him at this time? On a school night, no less.
“Kenma.” His ears perked up at your voice. He sat up. “Kenma, please give me some advice.”
It was the first time that you had ever wanted to talk about a fight. True, it was only the third time, but it meant the world to him that you wanted to talk about it. Even if the sun wasn’t even up yet and he had several hours left to sleep.
“What happened?”
A sniff. He was going to kick Kuroo’s head, he decided.
“I just… how do you deal with someone who refuses to talk to you?” You paused, as if you were trying to put together your words. Kenma waited. “Kuroo is great most of the time, but he leaves me hanging so much. I can go the entire weekend without so much as a text. And today something had happened, I knew it the second I saw the look on his face. But he just won’t talk to me. And today,” Another sniff. “Today, I brought it up and he was really dismissive and told me that I didn’t need to be so clingy. Clingy.”
Kenma had to stop himself from saying something like, if you were with me I would love it if you were clingy.
“Kuroo’s an idiot.” Kenma told you. “He doesn’t know how to talk about things that he actually needs to talk about. Next time you talk to him, tell him how his actions make you feel rather than what he needs to change. You’ll get into his brain easier, it’ll click with him.”
You paused again. Taking his words in. “Thank you. Thanks for being a friend.”
“Of course.”
Friend. Because that was all he would be, all that he could be.
Son of Demeter (Bae Jacob x Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Son of Demeter Jacob meets you, a child of Apollo, while helping out his friend Kevin in the infirmary.
Word Count: 1,624
A/N: As many others I was obsessed with Percy Jackson when I was younger and quarantine made my old love come back, hehe enjoy ;) -Admin J
As a son of Demeter Jacob loves being outside and working in the field. There's something about plants that makes him feel calm and relaxed. What he doesn't enjoy is fighting, so he tries to avoid the arena at all costs. It's not that he doesn't know how to fight. No, he's actually a pretty good sword fighter, but he doesn't enjoy inflicting pain onto others, which is something you can't avoid in combat. He uses his knowledge about herbs to help out the Apollo kids to heal campers that were wounded during missions or practice. That's how he had met his friend Kevin, who was a bubbly Apollo kid. Usually Jacob would only bring by the herbs and prepare them for all the healers to use, but today was a messy day. He had already heard the noise that came from the infirmary when he was on his way, but he hadn't expected it to be that crazy in there. When he had stepped inside he instantly made eye contact with Kevin, who seemed incredibly relieved. "Jacob, I'm so glad you're here!" he exclaimed waving over the Demeter boy. "Can you help me for a second?" Kevin asked him to hold a compress to the torso of the boy that was laying on the bed. Jacob wasn't sure if he knew the boy, as he couldn't bare to watch all the blood that was seeping out of the big wound. He pressed the compress down, while his head was turned to the side. Meanwhile Kevin wrapped a bandage around the boy so the compress would be held in place. "Thanks Jacob." Kevin said after finishing up the bandage. Jacob just nodded, not trusting himself to open his mouth, since the nauseous feeling was still there, he was scared he would throw up. "Hey are you ok? You look a bit pale." a pleasant voice called out to him and he felt a hand on his arm. The last thing he could see before he fainted was a pair of beautiful eyes.
Jacob didn't know how long he had been unconscious for, but he woke up to hearing an angered Apollo kid complain. "Honestly what is this guy? An animal? If I have to heal one more bite wound I'm gonna teach him a lesson!" There was some laughter before Kevin spoke up "You shouldn't do that. He's a son of Ares after all, picking a fight with him would only cause trouble." The other Apollo kid sighed. Jacob started to slowly sit up and then he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Be careful." It was the same voice he had heard before he fainted. Once again he made eye contact with your eyes. There was a bright smile on your face as you helped him sit up and handed him a cup of water. "Are you feeling okay?" you asked him. Jacobs mouth went dry, he could only nod. "Kevin he's awake." you turned around and called out to your sibling, who quickly came walking over. "Hey man, sorry for earlier. I didn't know you can not stand the sight of blood." Kevin apologized to his friend. Jacob shook his head "It's fine. I don't have a problem with blood, but that was a lot." Jacob gave a reassuring smile to his friend so he would stop worrying. Kevin patted his back. "Maybe we should invite you to the beach this evening huh? I mean you're basically one of us? What do you think Y/N?" Kevin called out to you, who had already went to take care of the next person. "What?" you looked up from the small wound you were treating. You had not caught what Kevin had said as you were focused on your patient. "Should we invite him to the beach later. He's basically a healer." Kevin repeated his question. "Sure if he wants to." a small smile on your face as you looked at Jacob to wait for his answer. Once again Jacob felt his mouth go dry and his cheeks started to redden, he didn't trust his words, so he just nodded. "Great I'll come get you later then." Kevin beamed before allowing his friend to leave the infirmary. When Jacob had agreed to this, he didn't know what he was getting himself into. When Kevin came to get him from his Cabin shortly before midnight, he felt extremely anxious. They weren't supposed to leave their respective Cabins after 11 and Jacob was never one to break the rules. However he still found himself following Kevin, sneaking away from the Cabins to a secluded spot to the beach. "Honestly I didn't think you would actually come." Kevin admitted in a whisper as they were moving across the cabins. Jacob shrugged, not wanting to admit he came because he wanted to see you again. When both of them arrived at the secluded spot on the beach he could see around ten Apollo kids sitting around a small campfire. Was it really okay for him to do this? He stopped in his tracks, questioning if maybe he should just walk back to his Cabin. Kevin pulled him closer to the circle of Apollo kids and sat him down. Jacob shyly greeted the others and looked around. His shoulders slouched when he realized you were nowhere to be seen. "What's wrong? Are you missing Y/N?" Kevin teased him. Jacobs eyes widened with shock at what his friend had just said. The younger boy just snorted at his perplexed face "Did you think I wouldn't notice? I know you aren't an extrovert, but you couldn't even speak around Y/N." Jacob felt his cheeks glow red as his friend exposed him, but no one else around the campfire seemed to notice. "Don't worry, Y/N will be here in a bit." the Apollo kid patted his back. Jacob relaxed a bit and even though he still didn't know if sneaking out was the right thing to do, he was having a fun time listening to the stories the Apollo kids told. After a while he heard footsteps in the sand and not long after you sat down in the space next him. "Hi." energetic as always, you greeted him with a big smile. It took everything in him to greet you back, but after he spoke it felt like your smile got even bigger. "Ayyy, Y/N you finally made it. Took you long enough." One of your siblings started cheering from across the Campfire, which led all the attention to fall on you. "Next time, we're not playing rock, paper, scissors I keep on losing. I feel like I've cleaned the infirmary so many times I should be excluded from the next game." you pouted which made your siblings laugh. The stories of the Apollo kids continued and Jacob admired you, who was actively taking part in conversations, but you also continuously made sure to talk to him, even if he only gave shy and short answers. However Jacob also realized he was getting sleepy, as he wasn't used to staying awake that late. His head started to feel heavy and his eyes were closing. He didn't realize it himself but his body leaned into yours, until his head fell onto your shoulder. Your body stiffened a little, surprised at the forwardness of him leaning into you, but when you realized he was asleep you tried to move your body, to prevent the poor boy waking up with neck pain. Kevin also realized your small gesture towards his friend and gave you a smug grin. Before he could say anything to embarrass you, you shushed him with a glance. He only put up his hands in a defensive way, like he wasn't about to give you a teasing. After a while the circle around the campfire had thinned down, leaving you and Kevin, along with a still sleeping Jacob. "I'll be leaving you alone, yeah? No funny business please." Kevin teased, quickly making his exit after his words. If Jacob hadn't been sleeping peacefully on your shoulder you would have hit Kevin. You started lightly shaking Jacob awake, who seemed a bit disoriented. "Where is everyone?" He asked rubbing his eyes. Something about his voice made you feel different. It was raspy and a bit deeper than how he usually spoke. His voice sounded so attractive, that for a second you forgot how to function. "Y/N?" God how could he speak your name with this voice of his. "Sorry what?" you were clearly flustered but it seemed like Jacob didn't realize it. "Where is everyone?" Jacob repeated his question. "Oh they went to bed. It's getting a bit cold, so I woke you up. We should go back to our Cabins too." You explained. Jacob nodded, still a bit sleepy. You took his hand and pulled him up. Instantly a warmth spread through his body. He wasn't sure if it was because of you being a child of Apollo or if he liked you. Considering his actions around you it was probably the later one. You didn't let go of his hand while making your way back to the Cabins. The two of you stopped in front of the Demeter Cabin. "Honestly I didn't think you'd be here tonight. Kevin said you're a goody two shoes and wouldn't dare to break rules. But it was nice seeing you tonight. You should consider breaking rules a bit more often." You quickly pressed a kiss to his cheek. His whole body tensed up, not able to move from his spot, as he watched you back up, sending him a wink before turning around and walking to the Apollo Cabin.
it’s time for the dreaded s6 finale emotions
*strong regret in projecting onto ryan as much as i do because this episode h u r t s*
tyler being the one to invite ryan along?? g a e
“can’t send a man to his doom without getting drunk first” he’s trying so hard to fit in. poor bastard. and not calling the others out for excluding him? you can just tell he’s trying so hard not to ruin it for everyone, and nobody even gives a shit. and then of course he eventually snaps, he’s just spent over an hour having to watch everyone have a great time and forget about him, and then alex suddenly expects him to have bought mike a gift, and they fucking tell him to stop being so selfish and god those fucking assholes
god the conversation where may-li tells charlie about her grandad. it’s so beautifully acted, emily burnett sells the denial perfectly, it just,, ow
this episode is hard to watch when you have really strong empathy and project onto both ryan and charlie. h e l p
wow charlie really just delivered a baby in a car in the middle of the woods huh. i keep forgetting how absolutely badass that is
you know what absolutely kills me is the vague suicide subtext to ryan running away. take that goddamn phone conversation out of context and that’s what it is and that’s the worst part of all of this. and chloe saying that he’s left a note and that “i think he’s really gone for good”. o u c h
the fact that NOBODY EVEN NOTICES RYAN’S GONE EXCEPT MIKE AND CHLOE. even tyler doesn’t fucking notice. and then everyone cares more that mike’s gone to find him than that ryan even left in the first place. but we’re not meant to think about that because tracy’s here and everything’s absolutely fine right. this episode is murdering me can you tell
lily complaining about men on that facebook post. bit fruity of her, i must say *‘a day in the past’ flashbacks*
i havent watched my mum tracy beaker yet but i really need answers on how it fits timeline-wise into the tsotb/tbr/tdg canon
the fact that chloe isn’t even wrong when she says everyone would hate ryan even more if they found out mike isn’t there ‘because of him’ (read: because he quite literally had a breakdown and ran away and mike, being the only decent person in this goddamn show, went after him)
ah yes tracy, care worker of the year, really just said ‘your problems don’t fucking matter, forget that anything’s wrong because mike is getting married’. i love tracy but wow that is not the thing you say in this circumstance and the only reason it worked was because he felt bad about the cake and whatnot
this episode has such an all over the place tone. they really just went from mike freaking out to fiona figuring out he’s gone to a damn slo-mo shot of tracy and mike on a bike while ryan sprints behind them.
oh my god i forgot bailey was in this episode!! i hate him (affectionate)
this goddamn episode is so full of emotions i almost threw up oops. anyway it absolutely kills me that ryan looks like he’s about to cry pretty much the entire time. that poor kid. and then chloe really just pulls a tee and apparently loses all empathy towards him huh. love chloe but wow
i don’t think we get a chance to read what ryan wrote in that note? but i kinda wish we did. could’ve given some extra insight into everything
i have no idea if any of this is coherent, or how much of it is an actual analysis and how much is me projecting but oh well, this episode(s) is a fucking emotional trainwreck, what can you do
Oh god. I'm not prepared.
*valid regret to have, that sad queer kid with anger issues and insecurities experience hurts real bad*
Yes!! Once again proving that Tyler is the only one in the DG who actually cared about Ryan and wanted to be around him. He was pissed at Alex for not inviting Ryan like he was initally supposed to, and then took it upon himself to make Ryan feel included anyway.
That scene really pisses me off, because Alex really is going after him. You can tell, he won't let Ryan make a single joke without trying to be snarky about it, and then he purposefully tries to humiliate Ryan because he knows that Ryan couldn't possibly have known to bring a gift.
Oh yeah, I can barely ever rewatch the first part of the wedding for all of these reasons, but especially for Charlie finding out about her grandad. Emily really is way too good of an actor, that's why it's so painful.
I relate way too much to the strong empathy and projection, that shit hurts so bad.
Yeah!! Charlie did that!! Honestly, credit to her because I would not have been as calm as she was on a normal day if I had to deliver a baby in a car in the middle of nowhere, never mind after everything she had been through that day.
Okay, so you found a way to make Ryan's whole storyline of those episodes hurt way more than it already did. Thanks for that. But you are right, it does have that vague subtext to it. If this wasn't a children's show, I would've actually been worried that's where they were going to go with his storyline.
It does suck that nobody really noticed or cared that Ryan wasn't there. I wish even Tyler had shown a bit more concern, but I suppose they've only got enough time in an episode for so much.
That was definitely one of Lily's fruitiest moments, and that's saying a lot because of the aforementioned "a day in the past" flashbacks. Honestly, all of her scenes with Carmen and some with Tee are always fruity, there's nothing else to it.
Okay, so, I can kind of answer that one. My Mum Tracy Beaker definitely carries on from The Story of Tracy Beaker since it involves clips of it when Tracy sees Justine. However, it's only really connected to tbr/tdg canon through vague hints. Like, Tracy has a published book called "Who Cares?" and there's a mention of her being an ex careworker, and she wears a "T" necklace but it's slightly different from the one that she wears in the wedding episode. So, we know there are subtle references to TBR through these background details that are really just glossed over. There is a weird little moment when Tracy's daughter tells Justine that Tracy wrote a book, but Justine should already know that considering it was a big part of their reunion in Tracy Beaker Returns. At best, we can at least assume that everything that happened in TBR is canon for My Mum Tracy Beaker. I feel like, if we want to be able to make the timeline for the wedding add up with My Mum Tracy Beaker, we'd have to assume that Tracy hadn't already had Jess during the wedding. Since the wedding takes place around 2018, and Jess is 10, My Mum Tracy Beaker would have to be set in 2028 at the very least, and that would have to mean that Tracy had Jess the same year as the wedding. Either that, or she did already have Jess but just... never mentioned her because she was staying with Cam.
It really does kill me that Chloe was right about that, because you'd think at least some of them would have some sort of sympathy for Ryan. I wish Tyler did. Honestly, he had a genuine breakdown and ran away, and no one cared except Mike. Great family they are.
Yeah, that was not Tracy's best moment, but... that's just Tracy. She doesn't think, she acts on what she believes to be the best solution in that very moment. She was never exactly an aware winning care worker in all fairness skjdashd but Ryan definitely needed to hear something other than that.
I could barely be sad or stress during that episode specifically because of how chaotic it was, and ESPECIALLY because of that slow-mo that had no right being so damn hilarious.
SHFKDASJDLK "I hate him (affectionate)" well at least I'm glad the (affectionate) is there lmao. But I was screaming when I realized Baily (and Liam) were there, I was so happy!!
Oh yeah, Ryan looked so upset, he was absolutely blaming himself so badly. There was no need for Chloe to come in there "wish you'd run away for real" like fuck off. I love her. But fuck off.
I don't recall actually seeing the contents of the note now that you mention it.
Yeah, don't worry, I'm not sure most of my reply to it is coherent either. But those are episodes are some of the most fun to analyse because Drama and Angst.
Let’s talk: RUN episode 130
by Admin 1
A week has passed and it’s time for the continuation of last weeks tennis episode, this time with BTS coming together on a tennis court to decide who the BTS Tennis Champion is, excluding Yoongi who was the MC and umpire due to his shoulder. He was joined by one of the coaches who’d previously given the members lessons at the club we’ve seen them at in last weeks episode.
Before I truly get into it, and let me tell you, for those who haven’t seen the episode yet but are still reading this anyway (thank you so much for that), there is a lot to get into. Especially when it comes to vmin. It was a feast this week, I can tell you that much (so fellow vminnies prepare yourself to get annoyed and upset with you know who again this week as is tradition whenever we get a lot of vmin, am I being shady/petty?). But the other members were comedic gold as well, especially Yoongi with his amazing commentary, and fellow namjinists, we got a few nice things as well.
Funny thing is about an hour after the episode went live, the following ask appeared in our inbox and, at this point, I hadn’t seen the episode yet so reading this made me giggle but also very curious to see what exactly even happened that led to Jimin carrying Tae, as well as how Jimin did that since I immediately thought back to that moment at MAMA 2019 where he tried yet failed to lift Tae.
From anon: Tonight's Run episode. Omg. When JM carried Tae and pretended to give him mouth to mouth, Tae gay panicked and said 'Hold on!' and swiftly got up and went back to the court. I cannot with these two. 😂It's always like someone is brave and then the other one panics. Come on VMIN you can both be brave hahahaha
But lets start...at the beginning (and make yourself comfortable because this ended up being a truly long one, also spoilers for who the winner is will be marked):
The episode opens with the members reminding themselves (and the viewer) why they are on that court again (as well as Hobi playing so much with his racket that he ends up dropping it, aww) and also letting us know that a solid 3-5 months have passed since the previous episode was filmed. Furthermore they talk about how, due to their schedules, they didn’t really have time for practice (as in they basically conclude they were bad at keeping up with this project and mostly merely went to practice once while Yoongi commented how they probably should’ve chosen something a little more approachable with a schedule like theirs), seeing as in the meantime Dynamite was released and they also had MOTS ON:E to practice for and perform. I do love how the editors flexed Dynamite’s BBHot100 longevity in the subtitles.
Tumblr media
Since the members all spoke toward the center, mostly turned around toward Jimin and Yoongi, Seokjin commented how they should also talk toward him, which Tae took as funny invitation to stand exceptionally close to Seokjin making him laugh with a big smile on his face. When I tell you I adore their dynamic and bond, I truly mean it.
Tumblr media
Yoongi is announced as MC and joined by Coach Kim, to whom the members apologize for forgetting everything he taught them. Next they move along to explaining the “rules” which basically ends with none of the rules actually being explained and the members making jokes about how headshots are against the rules. Then the order and pairings for the starting matches are chosen by chance by Yoongi and Coach Kim, though Hobi and Seokjin are separated so they won’t end up playing against each other since Hobi is the only one with past experience while Seokjin was the only one who actually went to practice four times between last episode and this one.
While that’s happening, we get a wide shot of the court and the RUN crew giving us once again an idea of just how many people are involved to film these episodes and how many pairs of eyes are watching them. (this is something some people truly should remind themselves of more often when coming up with...theories.)
Tumblr media
The order is decided as Hobi vs JK, Namjoon vs Tae (can we please talk about how, when Namjoon is pulled as Tae’s opponent, Seokjin quietly comments how he wanted to play against Namjoon? Cute!), and Jimin vs Seokjin. After the pairs are decided there’s this small hilarious moment where Seokjin stands a little further back and pulls out his phone and is promptly snitched on my Yoongi. In his defense Seokjin says that his dad was calling him so it was a completely valid reason to check while the other members complain about him having brought in his phone at all. Namjoon even tells him that he shouldn’t use his dad as excuse to which Seokjin challenges him if he should show him his phone as proof.
Then, finally, the matches begin. Yoongi and Coach Kim settle behind their umpire desk while Namjoon and Seokjin sit in the stands behind them to the left, thus on JKs side, and Jimin and Tae on the right, thus on Hobi’s. Who starts the match is decided in good old BTS fashion with rock-paper-scissors and we are treated to Yoongi calling Hobi a dummy which had me howling with laughter.
Tumblr media
We also get chaos immediately as Tae pretends to be the ball boy on JKs side, though quickly gives up his job and returns to his place. All signs point toward Tae being in a fantastic, comedic mood once again. We love to see it. As the match is happening, Yoongi comments on how it’s actually surprisingly fun to watch, with which Namjoon agrees (and so do I). They all get so into it making it double fun to watch and even easier to cheer along and get emotionally invested in what’s happening on screen.
During the second half of JKs match with Hobi, Tae asks Coach Kim what kind of player JK is to which he replies that he’s a passionate one, and upon prompting clarifies that JK always stayed longer after practice to practice some more. That certainly sounds very much like JK, and fits with what we’ve seen in the previous episode. Despite that Hobi wins the match!
Next up is Namjoon against Tae. Jimin playfully takes up the role of Tae’s coach, hands him a bottle of water and carries his racket while Tae ties his shoes and then approaches the net for rock-paper-scissors. Upon seeing their shenanigans, Seokjin jumps in as Namjoon’s coach, making sure he has spare balls and that he actually goes to the net as well.
Tumblr media
Before the match even begins we get Namjoon asking first Seokjin, who says he doesn’t know, and then Coach Kim if he’s even holding the racket properly which Yoongi comments upon saying he’s holding it the way you would a knife while cooking. Honestly Yoongi is on fire this episode with funny commentary. Then as they get to rock-paper-scissors, Tae as the most endearing human ever asks upon his angels (with Yoongi asking the editors to add in actual angel graphics for his sequence) to help him win, which he does. He gets to start off the match.
Namjoon is certainly the funniest tennis player among the members adding in little hops and spins making everyone laugh so, so much. Coach Kim comments upon how, because Namjoon was so busy, he didn’t get to learn how to do backhand and thus only knows how to do forehand (please don’t ask me what that means and what kind of effect that has because I have no clue). Speaking of laughter, at some point Seokjin is laughing so much and so hard Hobi turns to him and asks “why are you so happy?” but we never get an answer. Interestingly enough, as they announce a serve change, so Tae serving instead, Seokjin immediately stops laughing and looks focused again.
Also at some point they realize that Namjoon was playing with someone else’s racket, leading to Namjoon switching to his actual one, while Coach Kim says that Namjoon had left his racket at their gym which Seokjin comments by saying “that’s Namjoon”. We’re also treated to Nam-derer (Namjoon + Federer) and Tae-kovic (Taehyung + Djokovic) by Seokjin. Honestly, extra points for creativity. The match ends with Namjoon losing, ending up at the net and immediately being ready to bump elbows with Tae accepting his defeat. Absolutely hilarious match!
Next up is Seokjin against Jimin and it starts with Seokjin promptly loosing three points one after the other with the other members commenting that tennis is a mind game and Jimin’s mind is good. Jimin loses the next point, thus the members idea of Jimin potentially winning a “perfect game” (without Seokjin getting any points) is gone. Although it’s meant teasingly, this is still really cute:
Tumblr media
Upon being prompted by Namjoon to bring out his (Jimin’s) true tennis skills, the game turns around and Seokjin goes into the lead. Soon thereafter the score is 5 for Jimin and 9 for Seokjin which leads to Tae calling out the score to Jimin (saying Jiminie) as 5959 which apparently is both a lucky number and phonetically similar to something you’d say in a cutesy way to a child or someone you love in Korean, and on top of that it’s also 9595 backward. Unfortunately all that soulmate luck doesn’t help since Jimin still ends up losing the match.
Next up is Hobi against Tae with Hobi “teasing” Tae by claiming that he’s certain Tae will win. The match starts off with Hobi winning twice but Tae gets into it soon enough and they actually manage to get a few rallies going, as well as Coach Kim commenting on how you can tell that Hobi has prior training. As they reach 6:7 for Tae, Jimin and Namjoon start chanting KIM TAEHYUNG, with Jimin, Seokjin and Jungkook also doing some additional “cheerleader” moves. Very sweet and supportive! Look at their smiles, look at Jimin’s smile! He does that a few more times as Tae wins more points.
Tumblr media
Then we get to the moment that had everyone, vminnies and non-vminnies alike, in absolute shambles: Tae hurts himself (though I’m still not 100% certain if it was a joke or he actually hurt himself even if just a bit) and falls to the ground, Yoongi rushes in with a big smile while calling for a medic and Jimin runs over saying he’ll carry Tae. Which he does, just like anon said. Look at him! How is it possible that somehow Tae turns so smol whenever he’s in Jimin’s arms? Also just how strong, exactly, is Jimin that he can just pick up Tae like that despite Tae being taller, and therefore also surely a little heavier than Jimin?
Tumblr media
Also can we please talk about how Tae hooks his arms around Jimin, how he nestled his head against him, and also about that barely visible (from our angle and due to Jimin’s shoulder) smile on Tae face as he’s being carried? And also Namjoon’s face. Of course he’s there as well because what would be a vmin scene if Namjoon wouldn’t be there as well haha.
Tumblr media
That’s still not everything (truly this episode is a gift that keeps on giving) since Jimin puts down Tae on the stands and proceeds to give him pretend CPR and acts like he wants to also give him mouth-to-mouth which makes Tae giggle/laugh, but not just any laugh, it’s his Jiminie laugh. Catch me crying. After that Tae gets up and ends up winning the match giving us the following (it’s not too visible in the gif but my heart melts at Jimin’s happy/fond smile):
Tumblr media
And thus the final match is Kim vs Kim, place your bets now before continuing on. I do love how seriously Jimin is taking his “coach” job as he once again stands by Tae’s side before the match begins and carries his racket.
Since this is already getting outrageously long (and there are still 16 minutes left) I’ll just mention a few highlights instead of a detailed commentary. Also, if you don’t want to know who wins, I’d recommend skipping this part. I’ll add a bold Match Over at the end so just scroll until you see that.
Tae and Seokjin tease each other which Seokjin delivering the following line “I’ll prove that the underdog can’t make it to the top”.
Tae fails his first attempt at a serve, but upon second try, wins his first point.
Tae asks for more balls so he can keep some in his pockets which is commented by JK as Tae being greedy for balls because his mom didn’t buy him the toys he wanted as a kid. Another member, though I can’t for the life of me figure out which, asks what he’s talking about, and then Namjoon puts an end to the antics.
Seokjin rolls up his sleeves (things are getting serious serious) and Namjoon wishes him good luck (we love a supportive leaderbf). This is followed by Namjoon wondering if Seokjin is Shapovalov and Seokjin wins the point.
Seokjin wins the first set and they switch sides.
Seokjin tries to pick up the ball by hitting it with the racket just like they’d been taught in the previous episode but hits the ground instead. Yoongi wants to give him a yellow card but only has a yellow pen which he holds up instead.
They get a fantastic rally going but unfortunately Tae loses because he hits the ball too hard and it goes OUT. JK says it was so good there should be a slo-mo to commemorate that rally which makes everyone laugh.
Tae hits the ball into the OUT and nearly hits Jimin and JK which prompts Jimin to chant something in Busan satoori along with JK but Namjoon stops them by saying that they’re in Seoul.
The ball gets stuck in Tae’s racket, something that happens very, very rarely and thus the members decide to give him that point simply because of that. Namjoon also tells Tae he should buy a lottery ticket.
Tumblr media
Finally, because “hard work never betrays”, Seokjin wins! He also wins, according to me for the cutest smile because honestly LOOK AT HIM, how can anyone not be endlessly fond, endeared and enamored with him? That’s scientifically impossible and should be a punishable crime. Am I exaggerating? Who cares!
Tumblr media
Also Hobi gently, so very gently, dabbing away Seokjin’s sweat with his sleeve.
Tumblr media
Seokjin receives a skinny little gold medal, which Tae sneakily steals from him like a little squirrel while Seokjin gives a speech while being the most humble and very Seokjin.
MATCH OVER
After the game the members gather at a restaurant with the bill being paid by Seokjin, which is something the members simply decide upon though Seokjin makes a joke about having forgotten his wallet at home. What a nice prize for winning, makes it totally worth it, right? The first dishes that are served are seafood which Namjoon comments on by saying that he can’t eat them, but he needn’t worry because there was plenty, and I mean plenty, more food to be tried and eaten.
Overall the dinner featured some funny and interesting moments such as:
Hobi, Tae and Seokjin playing the “tangsuyuk” game which Namjoon calls childish and yet makes a game out of him saying “child” and Jimin “ish” with a laugh and smile on his face.
Jimin and Seokjin having a funny/cutesy conversation in a mix of Korean and English which is followed by Seokjin saying they should now only talk in English, which Hobi accepts. The only ones who do it are Hobi and Seokjin (who shows off two sentences with great pronunciation) and then it’s over and they switch back to Korean.
JK saying “I wanna be a lobster” to the tune of “I wanna be a rockstar” from Interlude: Shadow.
An extreme closeup shot of Jimin trying Peking duck including some ASMR for those who like it.
JK and Seokjin reaching for Seokjin’s drink at the same time with Seokjin telling JK he should order his own instead of trying to take his (later we see JK still drink from Seokjin’s glass). Jimin also asks for a sip (though he might be talking to Hoseok since there’s a glass standing between them as well from which we see Jimin drink).
Tae wonders what they’ll be going through in the next episode of RUN which gets commented as “reasonable doubt” by the editors in the subs.
Jimin tells the story of how he went to a hair salon with Yoongi though at first he can’t remember when it was. Tae and his vault of Jimin memories though does, saying that it was for their profile pictures before debut. The story goes that Jimin got an asymmetrical haircut which apparently was so bad/funny Yoongi couldn’t look at him and left him behind to meet with his friends instead. Once Jimin arrived at the dorm, Hobi woke up from his sleep yet, upon seeing Jimin, “fainted” because he laughed so hard.
As final dish they get mattang which reminds them of the mattang JK made in an older episode of RUN which ended up basically being completely immovable and stuck to his plate. “First is cleanliness, second is cleanliness, and third is adhesiveness.” I’m not surprised that we remember these things, but looking at how much they do, see, and have to remember, I’m always amazed by the fact that they remember such small things as well.
Jimin asked how long they’ve been doing RUN for to which JK says “10 years” making everyone laugh. Yoongi though comes through saying that they started in 2015, which is correct.
In the end they get some coffee and Tae asks if they should leave for their next shoot now, something it seems they’ve been stalling on doing since Tae already asked that twice before and they came up with things they should/need to do or eat before that.
And that concludes the episode! Wow, this turned out way too long. If you actually made it this far, I truly applaud you and also thank you sincerely. I loved this episode and I just had a lot to say, I suppose. This might be one of my new favorite episodes, which I have a feeling I’ve been saying for the last couple of episodes as well, but what can I say, these episodes have really been amazing recently.
Wolves don’t Party with Sheep
Tumblr media
I got this request last week, and I thought it was a neat idea. Thanks @etsuko-99 for sending me the ask.
When the Akuma alert sounded, most of the class had been at the end of year party at the park. They had been planning it for weeks and had been careful not to reveal its existence to the class problems aka Marinette, Chloe, and Nathaniel. The three had been has exiled from the rest of the call all year for their bullying of Lila and mean accusations that the girl was lying.
Class president? They voted to replace Marinette the first day of school.
Class picnics; the three weren’t invited.
Field trips; they got Bustier to exclude the three in the beginning of the year. Not that it mattered anyway; all the wonderful trips they had wanted to take had fallen through. They never had enough money to take it. And they never did the required paperwork.
Birthday parties; they weren’t invited to anyone’s in the class. No one went to Nathanial’s birthday party. Or Chloe’s. No one even bother to accept Marinette’s birthday party invitations, she mailed out a month ago. They even missed the required RSVP date on the front on purpose. The invitation was clear, if you don’t confirm your planned attendance, you can’t come. Then they told Marinette they were going to a party for Lila instead.
No one wanted the drama. No one wanted Lila to feel like she wasn’t welcome. And if the three found out, then maybe they should’ve been nicer.
Again, everyone from the class who was invited showed up apart from Adrien to Lila’s dismay. Alya assured the tearful girl that Adrien was probably just busy at a photoshoot, he’d be there if he could.
Lila had just stepped away from for a moment to take a call from Prince Ali when the Akuma alert sounded.
           It was a socialite hurt by the malicious lies her so-called friends said about each other by each other’s back decided that everyone should be forced to reveal what they really think. The Akuma was called Two-faced (As soon as Two-face from Gotham heard about the new villain, he contacted his lawyer; someone was getting sued.) Every time someone talked; the world would hear their inner voice say what they really thought about you.
“We should wait for Ladybug,” Alya said. “She’ll be here soon. Nino, turned down the music we don’t want to attract the Akuma’s attention.”
“You don’t kiss me enough,” Alya’s voice was suddenly heard throughout the party, though the girl’s mouth was shut. “You’re amazing. I love how much you dream. You’re a little naïve. We’re perfect for each other. But what’s a girl got to do to get to third base?”
           Nino blushed a scarlet red. There were snickers from the fellow students.
“Babe, a little awkward; maybe no one should talk.” Nino said. But as soon as his mouth closed. “I’ve already named all of our children.”
           The laughter that resulted from this laughter the couple paralyzed.
“This is so amazing,” Rose burst out. As soon as she stopped talking. “Juleka? Look at me! I have been flirting with you for three years. You know what I got for it? Nothing. Do you like me or not? You think you got it bad, Alya. I once showed up at her house drenched in rain, in a t-shirt, and Juleka didn’t bat an eye.  Stop complaining. At you got a boyfriend who wants to kiss you. All I got from Juleka was insecurities.”
           Juleka looked torn between wanted to die from embarrassment and looking utterly pleased with the situation.
           Alix snorted, “Still think it’s amazing.” She mocked. Her eyes widened when she realized she spoke. “Rose, you’re the definition of a ditzy of blond. I can’t believe we’re friends.” There were gasps. Rose looked at Alix with hurt eyes. “Honestly, I can’t believe your friends with me. You’re nice, girly, and super sweet. A freaking ray of sunshine. Everything I’m not. I love you for it. I kind of hate you too. You’re the daughter my wishes she had. I can’t stand you sometimes.”
“Ouch!” Kim said and gasped. His inner voice added. “This is way too serious for me. I should’ve just hung out with Ondine. And how is no one talking about how killer Max’s ass looks in those jeans?”
           The questions was met with blinks.
“Damn, I owe Luka ten bucks,” Juleka slipped out. She quickly covered her mouth but she couldn’t stop what came next. “Luka dislikes all of you. It’s why he left Kitty section. He’s thinks you’re all gullible idiots. He always told me to watch my back around you. After what happened with Marinette, I see why.”
           Mylene frowned. She thought Luka left the band because he didn’t have time for it anymore. “That’s really mean.”
“Truthfully, I saw it coming,” Mylene’s inner voice said. “What’s a guy like that doing in a band called Kitty Section? I mean really. But yeah, I totally called in it Kim being a little into Max. Like back in third grade. The Chloe thing was a massive attempt to hide his crush. I get it. Max can do better than a Neanderthal.”
“Hey!” Max glared. “Like you’re one to talk!”
“Have you seen Ivan,” Max’s inner voice hissed. “He’s a future UFC champion. You’re a future kindergarten teacher. Mylene, beauty, Ivan, beast. It only works out in Disney movies, honey. Besides at least Kim’s funny, and cool, and nice, and hot. Wow, I can’t believe he likes me. I’m a geek.”
           Kim grinned, “I like that you’re a geek.” His inner voice, “He’s thinks I’m hot. He think I’m hot. He thinks I’m hot. …I wonder if Nino would be cool with a joint wedding.”
“NO!” Nino and Alya yelled together. Their inner voice, “NO!”
           After that everyone was too scared to speak; scared of what they really thought be heard.
           That when Lila came back to the party. A happy grin on her face. “Sorry everyone, Prince Ali was insisting I attend his ball. I hope he’s isn’t going to purpose again.”
“You’re all a bunch morons,” Lila’s inner voice echoed through the park. “But useful ones. I’ve never even met Prince Ali.”
           Lila paled, “I didn’t say that!”
“Crap,” Her inner voice cried. “What the hell is going on? Do you know how hard it is to keep my stories straight? How hard I work to get these sheep to believe me? Well, not that hard. They’re idiots. I few grand tales and practically believe I shit gold.”
           The class stared at her horrified.
“It’s not me!” Lila stomped her foot.
Her inner voice cried out, “Don’t look at me like that. You’re the dumbasses who believed me. It’s your own fault. I only told you what you wanted to hear. Add a few tears and you did whatever I wanted.”
           Alya gasped, “Marinette was right.” Her inner voice, “What have I done. My blog is ruined. I’ll lose all my fans.”
           Lila fought not to glare, “Marinette’s a mean bully,” She whined. “Remember? She’s been so awful to me since I got here.”
“She called me out on my lies,” Lila’s inner voice snickered. “I warned her I’d get her back. I told her I’d take all her friends away. She should’ve believed me. You guys are idiots who believe everything I saw. Oh, Marinette picking on! Why doesn’t Marinette like me? Did I do something wrong? Waa! Waa! Now I’m here and she’s not. So there! I won!”
           Lila finally picked up one what was going on and covered her mouth. The class remained silent torn between wanting to scream at the girl and keep what they really thought secret.
           At that moment, Marinette, Nathaniel, Luka, Adrien, and Chloe strolled to through the park with ice cream cones in their hands and big smiles on their faces. They talked pleasantly with each other, stopping when they saw the party streamers and the class.
           Marinette didn’t blink twice, “Another class party?” She said sweetly. “Our invitations must have been lost.”
           Her inner voice was cold, “Doesn’t matter. I wouldn’t have come to your party if you paid me. Why do you think I put the deadline on the invites? I knew you’d pretend to forget to RSVP. I only invited you to my birthday party because my mom made me. Something about being nice or whatever.”
           The students of Bustier’s class reared back as if struck.
“It really pity you can’t come,” Chloe drawled. Her inner voice, “In addition to forgetting to RSVP, you must have forgotten that Marinette’s knows Jagged Stone and Clara Nightingale and a bunch of other celebrities; all of which are going to be at the party.”
“They’re having loads of fun here,” Adrien said brightly. “The party looks great.”
           His inner voice was a lot colder, “I told them! I told Marinette, Chloe, and Nathaniel every time you had this party, and every other party, a picnic, a guy’s night, a girl’s night, anything. I told them Alya was the one who got Bustier to not let them on the class trips. Why did you think I never showed up to any events? They’re my friend I showed them the group texts where you all did nothing but insult Marinette. You were bad friends. You trusted a perfect stranger over freaking Mariette Dupain-Cheng. That’s why I stopped returning your texts, Nino! Why I stopped returning all of your texts! We’re not friends anymore.”
           Mouths dropped. To his credit, Adrien let his ground and just sent a cold glare to his classmates.
“Mom saw the texts, Juleka,” Luka shook his head. “She’s disappointed in you.” His inner voice, “So am I. I couldn’t believe it at first. How could my own sister be so cruel? So vile. I know Lila didn’t get into your head. But I think feared did. You were scared these idiots in your class would turn on you too. You knew it was wrong treating Marinette the way you did but you did it anyway. I don’t recognize you anymore. I don’t even want to look at you right now.”
           Silent tears slipped down Juleka’s cheeks. Rose did her best to comfort the other girl.
“We should go,” Nathaniel told his friends. “There’s nothing for us here.” His inner voice, “Honestly you guys ditching us was the best thing that could ever happen. I have best friends now. Chloe, Adrien, and Marinette are literally the freaking best. I told them how much I liked Marc, and they listened. Chloe actually ended up locking in a supply closest but it all worked out. We’re dating now! I only got a little claustrophobic too.”
“You locked them in a closest?” Marinette pinched her nose. “That wasn’t the plan. It’s kidnapping.”
           Marinette’s inner monologue, “I’m not going to jail for you! Oh who am I kidding? Of course I’d go to jail for you. Better be for something cool.”
“It will be,” Chloe preened. Her inner voice, “You’re the best friend I’ve ever had. I’d pick you over all high-end couture in the world.”
“I’m not bailing you out for less than a felony,” Adrien chimed in with a smile. His inner voice, “Chances are I’m going to be right next to you.”
           Marinette rolled her eyes, “Nathaniel’s right. We have to get ready for our trip. And my party.” She said. Her inner voice. “Thank you Alya for getting pushover Bustier to remove us from the class trip. Now while you guys are headed to the amusement park. We’re going to Metropolis, and Gotham, and New York City. We’re going on the best trip of our entire life while you guys watch Kim puke up fifty chili dogs… Again.”
           Still the class was too scared to speak. Apart from Lila who glared angrily, “Oh please, like your birthday party will be any good?”
           The five looked at her and the class with smirks.
“Oh course not,” They chimed together. “It’ll be a small get together.”
“If you call a thousand people small,” Adrien’s inner voice said. “I still can’t believe Marinette has so many friends. People are coming from all over the world for her birthday. Prince Ali’s going. My dad’s going! And he barely remembered my birthday this year. Like what the fuck! How did Marinette become the favorite child? Fine, though, I stole her parents. Also her room.”
           Marinette side-eyed him. She knew had been finding more and more of Adrien’s stuff in her room. But she thought she was imagining things. Chloe did the same. Then the top bunk was always made. Again, she let it go. He slept over a lot. Chloe did too. Then he took over a drawer or two for some of this things. Again, not surprising. Chloe did the same; except she took over half of Marinette’s closet. Sometimes she’d come home and he’d be hanging out in her room playing video games. It was fine. Chloe tended to do the same; except for it was laying on Marinette’s bed on her phone.
           …Wait, what?
“Jagged Stone performing for his favorite niece Marinette,” Chloe inner voice sang. “Clara Nightingale’s performing. Luka’s singing. They both invited all the celebrities they knew. MDC’s party. Did you hear about that?” The class gasped in shock. “It’s trending literally everywhere. Marinette Dupain Cheng’s party. It’s practically a red carpet event now. By the way Adrien, Sabine and Tom like me best.”
           Again, Marinette had to side-eye her friends. Did they move in when she wasn’t looking? How did they move in? When did they move in? For god’s sake’ yesterday, she caught Chloe working behind the register while Marinette’s parents worked in back. She caught her dad teaching Adrien how to bake cookies and croissants.
“Peter Parker’s going,” Luka’s inner voice added on. “Marinette and him met each other at camp. And where Peter Parker goes, his parents follow. His parents: Tony Stark and Steve Roger ring any bells. And if Iron Man and Captain America’s going, the rest of the Avengers follow. They all RSVP’d.”
“Harry Styles,” Nathaniel’s inner voice repeated like six times. “If I wasn’t dating Marc, I’d go for it. Like, you have no idea; how much I’d go for it. Marc’s concerned. …He should be.”
           Marinette smiled as her inner voice spoke what she was always too nice to say, “You were terrible friends. You turned against me for basically no reason. You threw me away. You followed Lila Rossi, the world’s biggest liar, because she told you grand stories and promised you things and opportunities. I’m happy you’re not going to my birthday party. Because you’re going to miss the chance to meet all those celebrities Lila lied about knowing. The chance to talk shop and create connections with the rich and the famous and be famous yourselves; the real reasons you ditched me. Most of the guests don’t know. But that’s fine because I’ll have real friends at the party; and you won’t be among them. Because you’re not real friend. You’re mindless, gullible sheep. …And Adrien, Chloe, I swear to the all gods, if you think you can just take over my room, you got another thing coming!!”
           Both blonds didn’t bother to even pretend to look remotely shamed or scared. They just smirked.
           It was at that moment, the Akuma two-faced came crashing into the party. All the documents, those in the class and not, scattered off screaming. The five took that opportunity to transform.
           Ladybug, Chat Noir, Queen Bee, Viperion, and Renard Rouge came swinging to the scene.
           Alya couldn’t believe her eyes. She had been replaced. How could Ladybug just replace her? She didn’t even have the guts to tell Alya!
           Fury overcame her, “Ladybug!” The glasses-wearing screamed. Her inner voice, “Look at me. How could you do this? Why?”
           Ladybug looked at her teammates. They nodded her a: Go for it. Ladybug swung over the the reporter. “What, Alya?” Her inner voice, “Why are you bothering me now?”
“You replaced me,” Alya stomped her foot. “I’m the fox hero. Not that poser.” Her inner voice, “I’m a much better hero than he’ll ever be. I should’ve been made permanent. I should’ve been made an official partner of you and Chat Noir.”
           Ladybug glared, “You posted lies on your blog. You never fact checked. And my sources told me you frequently took part in bullying of three students.” Her inner voice, “You’re a bad journalist. Why did you think I stopped giving you interviews? All those lies you post from Lila Rossi about her, about me. You never even bothered to research anything. Then you ice’d out Marinette; the sole reason I even bothered to give you a chance. You and your classmates really hurt her and the other students. You were mean bullies. And you’re unworthy of being a hero.”
           Alya froze. “But, I, it’s not fair!” She cried. “I didn’t know Lila wasn’t telling the truth.” Her inner voice “Crap! I forgot you knew Marinette. She probably told you everything. Ugh, why does she always have to be right all the time? It’s so annoying. At least Lila was fun. Besides, Marinette never even bothered to offer let me meet any of her celebrity friends. Or even mentioned she knew them And that’s so not cool. What kind of girl does that to her bestie? If Marinette had just told me she knew them, I’d have never believed Lila.”
           Ladybug just stared at Alya in disgust, “We’re done Miss Césaire.” Her inner voice, “Forever.” Then she was gone.
           When the Akuma was defeated, and Ladybug put everything back to the way it was. The students didn’t know what to say or do. Lila had taken the time to vanish form the party. The five continued they stroll through the park. Unfortunately, they had to walk past the class party again.
“Hey!” Nino called. “You guys can come join us if you want.”
“We’re really sorry,” Rose yelled.
           Juleka didn’t say anything just looked at her older brother with pitiful eyes.
           Alya rushed over, followed by the other students. “Girl, you were so right about Lila. She’s such a liar.” The classmates nodded. “I’m your bestie. I should’ve never forgot to RSVP for your party. If it’s not too late, I’d love to go. Maybe we can even join you on your trip overseas. I’d love to go the Daily Planet.”
“Yeah, me too!” Nino grinned.
“Count me,” Alix cheered and high-fived Kim.
           Marinette looked them up and down, “It’s too late. Far too late,” She told them. “To go to my party, to go on the trip, to get back into my good graces, to be friends again. We’re not friends. And we never will be again. None of you be celebrating my birthday with me.” She gave them a cold smirk. “Wolves don’t party with sheep.”
Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Little Match Maker
Summary: Your life motto is "I have the power of god and anime on my side, don't mess with me," and you stand by that with your life. No human, magician, or random creature could ever stop your firm belief in it.
However, getting transported to this world that seemed to turn your already bad luck worse was not what you wanted to be in your life story, but you made the most of it.Making friends, enemies, and disasters, you were in your prime in this world, and so you decided to help as many people as you could flourish, at least what you believed to be.
Prologue 3-5: I wanna take a nap
Chapter Summary: Was everyone in this school an evil bratty child or was it just you?
Warnings: jokes about death(I think) and committing crimes and curse words, some sex jokes (but not the bad ones; middle school boys comments and stuff)
Words: 3.4k
Relationships: Pending twst x reader
Two boys-you assumed-were chasing after the cat, and while neither of them seemed to be very athletic,  the cat really was not either. The cat kept bumping into its own fire and having to turn away, or trying to blast fire at the two chasing him and almost tripping both himself and the other two boys. The cat did end up getting chased into a corner after almost tripping the two boys, and the smaller of the two raised up a pen or pencil looking object and screamed the words “Off with your head.” The only thing that passed through your mind was that you need to get out of here.
After the boy screamed, a red light appeared from the top of the pen and was soon directed straight toward the cat. The cat horror-struck backed up as far as he could and even climbed a few inches up the wall to move away from the beam of light heading toward it. The beam smacked the cat into the wall and caused him to fall from his position onto his butt and falter in any movement. Once the light cleared, there was an obvious difference in the cat’s appearance. A red and white collar had shown up around his neck, and the cat still dazed to notice it screamed out, “Nughab! The heck is this thing?”
You mumbled out, “Kinky…”
“Law of the Queen of Hearts Number 23: ‘One shall never bring a cat into a festival.’ You being a cat means you’ve broken the rule. I shall have you leave at once,” Here we have another member of the crowd who also thought the creature was a cat, but apparently, this disappointed child also has the numbers of the rules for something memorized, and that threw you off. He straightened himself once he noticed that the cat was caught within the collar and put his pen away in his coat that you just noticed everyone was wearing.
You surveyed yourself to see what you were wearing and realized that it was the same thing, only leading your mind to one conclusion: “This has to be some kind of cult…”  you mumbled the phrase so that anyone close by could not question your thought process, but this school and world just happened to get worse and weirder the more you looked around.
“...I'ma burn this collar right up and... ehhh I can’t use my fire!” You caught the rest of the cat’s declaration, and both him and you were in absolute awe for what the collar had apparently accomplished.
“Hmph!” The disappointed child straightened his back even more and tilted his face up toward the ceiling a little, “You won’t be using any magic until I remove the collar. Just like an ordinary cat”.
“Whh-what? I’m not some pet!” The cat was having none of it. He was clawing at the collar on his neck and pulling it as much as he could just sitting in place next to the wall in his time out corner.
“Don’t worry, I’d never keep a pet like you,” the kid really just can’t help himself can he, “I’ll take it off anyway when you get thrown out.” He turned away from the cat and began to walk back to the center of the room where the sus headmaster in the top hat who for a weird second kinda reminded you of Willy Wonka stood and fumed over the past events.
Once the kid began walking, the other male chasing the cat spoke up, “Wow, as wonderful as ever. Any and all magic gets sealed by your Unique Magic, Riddle,” the male even threw his arms out to match his display of amazement only to pull them pack in a second later to place one hand on his chin while the other held his elbow to his chest to allow the male to mutter some words to himself. The taller male then pivoted around and sauntered to follow the smaller male. Both of them held this formal air covered in arrogance, and you wanted nothing to do with either of them.
The end of their conversation must have halted the top hat headmaster because he straightened himself up and glanced at the crowd only pausing his eye movement when they reached you. He kept both of his eyes on you while he strode over to your wall. Your day could apparently get worse.
“You must do something about this! It is your familiar!” the man made hand gestures to point at you in his furry, and you decided that maybe now is the time you should speak up.
“Sir, with all due respect, stop assuming things,” this man was worse than some teenagers and teachers you have met, so you shut him up, “Please tell me when I told you that he was my familiar,” your flicked your hands and continued, “whatever that is, because I am clearly lost.”
“So it’s not yours?” The man put his hand to his chin and closed his eyes either to calm himself down or figure everything out.
“Yep. Never seen it before it asked me to strip” Please let this man listen for once.
“Ah, um You did.” He cleared his throat, “Anyway, let's get it out of the school. We won't turn you into a stew. For I am gracious. Someone help, please.”
Several of the students crowded around the cat until finally two came out holding the cat who was yelling the entire time. He was a little too desperate to just stay in this school.
You broke off from the masked man’s lecture for a second until another voice joined the conversation.
“That’s not different from usual, is it?” You were lost as one of the taller of the five males from earlier spoke up. He was a half furry, but you had no clue what that was called again and you would rather not know.
“What?” The sun graced everyone with its presence, “Did nobody tell him about the ceremony?” His features turned into a sorrowful, sour look from his normal bright and upbeat feature; he even glanced around at all of the others who surrounded the masked male. You noticed that all of them were the five from earlier, not including the tablet.
“If you are going to complain, you should’ve done it yourself.” Another one of the tall gang of the five males spoke up; however, this one was the exact opposite of the half furry. He was incredibly put together and more breathtaking than anyone you have ever been in the same room in. The male must be the ruler of self care, even if he did give you arrogant vibes.
“Hmm. But I don’t really know anything about the guy.” The sun appeared guilty at his statement.
The people which you forgot about broke out into chatter about a man who was named something like ‘Malaus Drakconia’ or something like that, but you had no clue who he actually was or how to actually spell his name. All of the chatter stopped when another male, much smaller than most of the five males, strolled into the room through the double doors.
“I was correct. I thought he might come but ‘Malaus’ really didn't. It seems the invitation "never arrived" again.” The small male shook his head and sighed gently after entering the room.
The males in the middle all exchanged glances before two emerged: the two from before; the ones that were chasing after the cat.
“My deepest apologies. I promise, we didn't intend to exclude you.” The taller male closed his eyes and appeared apologetic.
“His aura makes it hard to approach him,” The shorter male just can’t stop himself.
You just had to butt in because no one was taking this seriously; you walked up from your wall to meet with the group in the middle, “Yo, dude that’s really not right. I mean what has he ever done wrong to ya?” Some teenagers just weren’t for you, and so you apologized to the new face that entered. “Tell the dude he has my condolences or something.”
The short new face just stared through your soul for the next couple of minutes, not blinking, but he finally did cough and twist away from you to face a group of students. “It’s not your fault child, but it is all right.” He took about three steps. “Members of the Diasomnia Dormitory can come with me… I hope this doesn't upset him.”
You in your brilliance decided to cup your mouth and scream out to the male leading the first group out, “Tell the dude that if he needs someone to talk to, I’m freeee! I hope he feels better!”
You even heard a slight chuckle from the group. And slowly all the groups left; most making eye contact with you, but you just carried on trying to think of how expensive the clothes you had one were; you rubbed the sleeve and found out that they were made of a fabric resembling silk.
Crowley, from what you remembered, sauntered up to you once the room was clear and both of you began to conjure in your head and make a conversation about what was going to happen:
“While I normally would have you leave this school, I do not know where you are from. Would you mind stepping up to the mirror to find out. There is no need to worry. The Dark Mirror will send you directly back from whence you came. Enter the Gate, and picture your home clearly in your mind... “ The male pushed you to the mirror again, and you thought of your home for as long as you could. You even heard him mumble words back and forth with the mirror when you were lost in thought.
However, a surprised noise came out of the man’s mouth and your mind buffered to process everything because both Crowley’s and the mirror’s gaze, if you would even call it that, were stuck on you.
“This is the first time this has ever happened since I became headmaster, what should I do?” You held contact with his weird mask eyes for as long as you could before you swerved your gaze to the mirror. “Are you positive that is where you are from? And that you have never heard of Twisted Wonderland, Night Raven College, anything?” He was moving closer to you at an extremely fast rate causing you to discreetly walk back to your wall.
“Yeah, sir, why would I ever lie about that? All of this seems like a weird movie for me.” You just could not believe how little this “headmaster” or whatever believed you.
“Our best option is to go to the Library and do some research. Come and join me.”  Headmaster Crowley twirled around making his cloak follow his mystical movements like some fairy or evil villain and started to make his way out of the room.
You just as confused as before followed after him, wondering if anything in this world would ever make sense.
~~~~
After around an hour of scouring through books in the odd library you were in earlier, you and the headmaster both decided to take a break.
“Can you please believe me now?” You slumped in a chair and groaned as loud as you could for as late as it was and even massaged your forehead, just hoping the man would get your point.
“You are correct. There is nothing about your hometown anywhere…” The male halted his speech and glanced back at the books, “There is also a possibility you are from another world.”
“What a nice thing to say to the tired, lost teenager,” and you stopped your speech to turn to him and point at him, “That you are in charge of.” You could not believe this man, and so you deflated while he carried on with his speech.
“Did you have anything on you when you came here?”
You just shook your head and rolled your eyes out of his view.
“Do you have any identification, like a license for a magic car, name on a shoe... You appear to be empty-handed?”
Another shake and a hand placed back on your forehead, and you noticed that he was probably going to go back into one of his speeches when he stood up taller and paused speaking for a second.
“This is concerning…..My graciousness is limitless! I am a model for all educators.We had better be on our way. Let's head to the dormitory. It may be a bit old but there is a certain charm to it.” Apparently, you were going to stay in a dormitory. Always a new surprise with this man.
And you two were off again through the halls and outside to your new stay in this world, but from how terrible the place was on the outside, this was not a luxury resort.
It was a four or more story house accompanied by a broken gate guarding the house, spider webs on all of the molded dead trees, broken shutters, even broken window, and to top it off just an overall haunted vibe to the place. This was where smart, sane people in life would avoid; this was just the trap for those characters in haunted movies, and you were just hoping to find a peaceful place to sleep in it tonight.
Crowley must have caught your staring at the dorm and ushered you inside, “Right, right. Please come inside.”
You can confidently say that the inside of the dorm was incredibly worse than the outside; the streets might be a better option if you took into account all of the health hazards in just this room alone.
Crowley did not seem to agree, “Staying here will at least keep you out of the rain.”
You hoped to interject, “Isn’t there somewhere el-”
“I'm going back to do more research. Make yourselves at home. Don't go wandering around the school! Goodbye!” This man was going to be the death of you or the reason you commit murder.
The lounge area was terrible: almost everything was broken and covered in dust, including the walls, ceiling, and floor. This area was not fit for a person to live in, and even if you tried your best it might never be.
But of course with your luck streak, Crowley saying that it would rain had to come true. “Are you kidding me now!” You threw your hands up in the air and then grabbed your head and tried not to commit arson.  “Nothing is ever going to go my way here, will it?”
Thunderstruck.
“At least you are on my side…” You gazed out the cracked window expecting it to break soon.
The thunderstorm caused more problems in your new dorm than it should have. The building would shake, as would the windows, and it allowed more damage than before. However, it appears that you are not alone with a caterwaul screech from behind you.
“Hyyyi! It’s really coming down!” And located on your broken couch was the cat from before. He was apparently a gift from someone, who probably was laughing at you, for you with how often he was popping up.
“What are you doing here?” You probed in an apathetic tone as you both deadpanned and glared at the cat.
“Gyhaha! You've got this stupid look on your face like a spider being attacked by a water gun! I'll have no trouble sneaking back into school. Come on, come on. If you think getting thrown out is gonna make me give up on getting in, you've got another thing coming!” The cat gabbed just as long as the headmaster.
Your day could somehow get worse, “Honestly, I don’t care. Please don’t cause problems or I’ll kick you out.”
“Hmph. You wouldn’t understand, but I’m a genius who is destined to be a great magician! I've been waiting for the Ebony Carriage to come pick me up. But... But...Hmph! The Dark Mirror just doesn't have an eye for this.So that's why I came here on my own. Not letting me in would be a loss for the world, humans just don't get it.” This cat might be annoying, but the sob story does make you pity him a little. That is if he started acting kinder and not like an annoying pretentious kid.
Now that you look at him, he resembled a small child disappointed that they did not get what they wanted, but you had sympathy for him. He never mentioned a family or had anyone who cared about around him. He seemed lonely. He wanted to get into school which honestly you don’t know why anyone would want to go to school, but people had their priorities.
A water droplet hit the cat, “Nyaa! So cold! The roof is leaking!”
Another drop.
“Fgyaa! It keeps coming! My adorable ear fire is gonna go out at this rate!” He pulled down his ears closer to his eyes and met your gaze.
“Fine, fine. I’ll get a bucket..” You uttered going to look around the building and ignored any more retorts the cat came up with.
You exited the living room and entered a hallway with a flight of stairs going up, and the rest of the house mirrored the living room and outside by how disgusting and hazardous it is. There was even a gigantic spider web spreading the top of the hallway, and the wallpaper was coming off and covered in mold.
“This is a great time for the first kill in a horror movie,” in this situation talking to yourself helped calm you down.
That is until three ghosts appear. All of different sizes and heights, and they look incredibly familiar like from a movie or something.
“Hihihihi…. Ihihihihi…We haven't had a guest in so long...I'm itching for some action. Ihihihihi!” Frozen in your spot, you watched as the ghosts chuckled and floated closer to you.
“Um, sorry, but like…. What?”  You became more disoriented as the day went on., and this topped the cake.
The cat was not on your wavelength and followed you out of the living room and into the hallway only to freeze at the sight of the three ghosts.
“Gyaaaaaaaa!!!! G-g-g-g-ghoooooooooooootts!!” The cat bawled before he darted to cling onto your cloak.
The shortest ghost found amusement out of the cat’s reaction, “The people living here got scared of us and left…”
So did the largest ghost, “We’ve  been looking for more ghost pals. How about you guys?”
“Dudesss, chill down. We are not here to hurt you.” You tried to placate both the ghosts and the cat clinging onto you, but nothing ever went your way.
The cat leaped out from behind you looking as ferocious as a duckling, “Grim, the Great Magician, isn't scared of some ghosts!!!” and blew fire at the wall, “Punahhh ~ ~ ~ nnn!!”
The ghosts were having fun with the cat as the tall one asked “Where are you aiming?” and the largest one ran around the hallway area chanting “Over here, over here!”
Apparently Grim-the cat- was actually taking this seriously or did not like getting teased, “Shoot! Stop disappearing!” He continued to blast fire in all directions, most not even where the ghosts were.
You were not going to put up with his attitude so you made a deal with him wanting him to either shut up or do his job right, “Grim or whatever, either you get a move on and listen to me or I’ll tell the headmaster that you are here so that a red collar can be placed on you again and get you kicked out on the streets.”
“Ughhhh, buttt.. I’m a genius.” Grim ran around the area but paused as another ghost came up behind him. “Bunch of cowards ganging up on us! Fine,” Grim circled around to face you, “tell me where the ghosts are!”
“To your left!” Helping Grim would never be easy, but you somehow made it work.
“I hit it! Alright, let’s get them all outta here!” Like a child, he bounced over the fact that he did something right.
And like a child you could not wait to take a nap.

Jealousy
Click here to read the entire fic on AO3
The next day, Katara and Zuko enjoyed their private access to one of the family spring bath rooms. The bath had that velvety feel that came with mineral rich water, and there was a thread of something more potent in the cloudy liquid, but it was ultimately comparable to tap water when ranked against her oasis.
Feeling rejuvenated, and tingling with anxious glee about their interview being broadcast, they decided to take a risk and see some sights. As Zuko contemplated his itchy bandages for his face, Katara yanked a woven hat over his head instead. The wide brim cast enough of a shadow over his face to keep quick glances from noticing his scar.
“Is this really enough?” He asked as he settled into the wheelchair.
“Trust me, people are terribly afraid of invalids. They think it’s contagious.” Katara assured him.
“Hmm.” Zuko intoned, thinking back to plenty of instances in his life after the scarring.
The Misty Palms Oasis was an ancient marvel and had housed a multitude of communities in its history. Prior to the Hundred Year War, there had been some religious commune that acted as a healing sanctuary. At some point, that became commercialized, as the oasis could never be coaxed into sustainable farmland. The oasis turned into a bustling trading hub; the perfect stop to long, desert trade routes.
The war disrupted that, as it had many things, and the desert brigands that had once been excluded from its respite took their claim.
Avatar Aang had calmed a lot of the more unsavory traits of the oasis, but it never regained its previous, lofty reputation.
Ivory tiled plazas marked out the spots for wealthy people, and hosted the simulacra of a spiritual well. But pockmarked about the sand dunes and low bone white walls were shabbier buildings. They collected tourists and travellers like the piles of red sand that made their wooden walls sag.
Katara threaded away from those places, knowing that their small manners would invite the attention of merchants more easily than the curiosity of the more wealthy around.
Still, certain walkways could not be avoided.
The joyful sounds of some tavern spilled out in the morning air, and Katara yanked Zuko’s wheelchair back as the sound was followed by a stumbling body.
The man offered distracted apologies and Katara kept her head down as she navigated past him.
“Wait, Katara?” The man asked.
The breath in her lungs turned into helium and as she turned, it felt like she almost lifted off her feet.
“Jet?” She asked in return.
Despite the setting and the noise, Jet was not inebriated; at least not so soon in the day. Whatever had made him laugh inside, or else propelled him out into the street, it lingered in his smile.
“I had heard rumors, but I didn’t think I’d see a queen out here in the desert.” Jet said, walking closer.
His skin had darkened, and Katara assumed he had been in Misty Palms for some time. He had not followed her, this was not intentional.
She didn’t know if that made things better or worse.
Zuko, still in the chair behind her, cleared his throat.
“I’m with a client.” Katara said haltingly.
Jet peered past her and Katara shifted her weight to the side. He didn’t seem very interested.
“Can you settle a bet for me?” He asked as he lazily slid his gaze back to her.
“What?”
“Are you really dating the Fire Lord’s son?”
Katara felt her mind stop.
“We were just watching the interview and you looked so stiff.” Jet explained to fill her silence. “It just didn’t match the Katara I knew.”
“Well I’m not that person anymore.” Katara said quickly.
“Oh, I’m not so sure.” Jet said with a laugh. “The Katara I knew would absolutely be in the middle of nowhere, helping out someone everyone else has probably called a lost cause.”
“You don’t know me.” Katara replied.
“I’d like to.”
“I am dating Zuko.” She stated quickly. “I just don’t like cameras.”
“I guess Longshot owes me some money now.” Jet said with a shrug.
“You thought…” Katara, confused, couldn’t find the rest of her question.
“Like I said, the Katara I knew has a thing for lost causes.” Jet answered.
“You weren’t-.” She cut herself off. “You’re not mad?”
Jet shook his head.
“You’re not the only one who changed.” He said softly. “Peacetime wasn’t hospitable to old Jet.”
“Well.” Katara fumbled through her thoughts. “I’m glad.”
“Me too.” Jet cracked a larger smile and swung his arms in a stretch. “I’ll let you get back to your healing. I think you’re probably nicer to him with your bending than you were to me.”
He winked, changing the meaning of his tone, and Katara sputtered as he walked away.
Jet had guessed it was Zuko in the chair. Of course he had.
“Let’s go.” Katara muttered, turning around and shoving the chair forward.
“You sure you didn’t want to catch up some more?” Zuko muttered back.
She snorted, feeling her mood shift.
“Are you jealous?” She asked.
“Of course not.” Zuko snapped.
“Have you even been jealous before?”
“I’m not jealous.”
Despite his claim, Zuko was peevish during their outing. He complained about the heat, the crowds, and the lack of mobility when trying to access various sites and shops. Katara tried to jostle him out of it, modeling increasingly ridiculous outfits and accessories.
But her own nerves thinned her patience, and by lunch she was just as tired and irritated.
When they made it back to their room, Katara darted immediately into the bedroom. Thin lines of sand had collected in her joints and ends of her clothes. She shed the fabric, but the sweat and sand clung to her like another outfit.
The shower stall was separate from the large, whirlpool bath, but it took up almost as much space. Tiled in sea green glass, Katara relished the cool ripple under her feet. Craving coolness, she stood under the spray instead of waiting for the water to heat.
The bathroom door opened, and Katara kept from looking through the clear glass door as Zuko stepped in.
His heat fogged the glass as he approached, making her aversion easier.
“So Jet seemed happy to see you.” Zuko began. He was trying to sound neutral, or conversational, but it was like he had forgotten how to make that inflection with his voice.
“Of course, I won him some money.” Katara said.
“Did he look any different?”
“He looked more like a guy closer to his thirties than his teens, yeah.”
“Mmmm.”
They were both quiet, and Katara started to thread her fingers through her hair.
“I’m not jealous of him.” Zuko repeated. Katara didn’t reply and focused on plucking free a tangle.
“I am jealous of his freedom.” He finished.
“What?” Katara looked up at the shower head, still unable to see Zuko through the condensation.
“You know him. Maybe not what he’s been up to in the meantime, but you have a history. You could catch up over a coffee and it wouldn’t be this lecture of pain and trauma.
“And just the fact that you could go out with him in the first place. But I have to be disguised just to go anywhere with you in public.” His sentences spewed out like steam from a boiling kettle, but it chilled Katara.
“History doesn’t always make things easier.” Katara said. “You can keep a lot of assumptions about people.”
“Fine, even if it wasn’t him, wouldn’t you rather be with someone you can actually date?” Zuko asked.
“We date.” Katara protested.
“Barely. I think we-”
“We what?”
“I’ve never told you what that night was like for me. When I met the Painted Lady.”
They were quiet again and Katara let her hands fall down by her sides.
“Ever since that night, I was fascinated by Waterbenders. I spent months looking for the pretender, but only heard rumors. And even after the war ended, every time I met a Waterbender that was around the right age, I wondered.
“By the time I met Sokka, I had given up. But then he told me about being in the war, about you being a Waterbender, and it shook everything up. I had to meet you. And when I did, I wanted you to be her so badly.” Zuko finally said.
“Why? Love at first sight?” Katara questioned.
“Yes.” Zuko answered readily.
“Spirits, how terrible would it have been if I wasn’t the same person?” Katara asked, slightly bitter and slightly unnerved.
“You don’t understand, it’s because I fell in love with you at first sight. And I wanted some destiny to intervene.” Zuko said.
“Oh.”
“And so now there’s two of you. There’s always been two Kataras. And I wonder if you and I are just meant to be a fairy tale.” Zuko said. “That’s what I’m jealous of. His freedom of being more rooted in reality.”
“I prefer the fairy tale.” Katara said, trying to sound prim but achieving something more acidic. “Plus, the ending is much better than the practical.”
“What’s that?”
“‘’And they lived happily ever after.’”
“Ah.” Zuko paused and she heard him chuckle to himself. “Got room in there?”
“I think I can manage.” Katara replied, assuredly sounding coy.
They could use the ever after to figure out the rest of their story, she was certainly in no rush.

Little Red Dress
Hellboy (2019) x Plus Size/Chubby Reader
Imagine: After ignoring you for a few weeks, you figure a way to get Hellboy’s attention. (Takes place after the movie but the professor didn't die)
Word Count: 1.6k
Warning: some swearing,
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Never in a million years did you think you would end up crushing on someone like Hellboy, or Big Red as you liked to call him. It started when you were picked for a research team by Professor Broom himself and you were just supposed to be behind the scenes and away from the action. You followed those rules but Hellboy was never one for following orders and went as he pleased. He met you when he crashed through the ceiling into the library after a fight with his father and he got so angry that he punched the ground so hard it broke underneath him.
He had been laying on the rubble of wood for a few minutes before he got up and finally realised that you were stood behind him, a stack of books in your hand. You smiled at him, “You must be the Professor’s son. It’s nice to meet you. I’m (Y/N).” Hellboy had initially been drawn to you from the way you didn't look at him in fear or disgust. You were the first person, excluding his father, that treated him like a normal person from the beginning.
After that encounter, he started asking questions about you to his father, here and there to not seem suspicious, but nothing could fool the professor. He soon realised that his son was strangely fond of you and had you moved to work as his assistant, meaning you would see a hell of a lot more of Hellboy. The professor assumed that if you were around then maybe he wouldn't be so keen to leave all the time.
Just like the professor expected, Hellboy stuck around a little more but he wouldn't really talk to you, just make excuses to be in the same room and watch you. You didn't really notice it, you were pretty much always on your feet and had something to be doing to realise that you had a set of eyes on you most times. It got to the point where the professor tried to play matchmaker since he was getting bored of son’s relentless pining.
Soon, you and Hellboy were paired together for missions and while you were scared of going into the field, you knew that Hellboy could likely take just about anything. After you both nearly died after an attack from a witch, you both started to relax and become comfortable around each other. The two of you became fast friends and you were glad to have someone to rely on when you needed them.
That was a year ago and lately, you could feel the dynamic of your relationship changing into something else and you actually didn't mind. You didn't care about the fact that Hellboy was technically devil spawn, he was one of the most genuine and nice guys you've ever met. You remember the night you started to feel any attraction to him.
You’d just come back to your room at the base, the professor insisted you move into his home since you spent most of your time there and he didn't see the point in you wasting money on the rent of an apartment you were rarely in. It was also for your safety but you didn't complain about it. You’d been on a date, first one in a good few years and when you met the guy, he was completely different than the first time you met up. He was rude and self-centered. Basically, the worst kind of guy that ever existed. You'd left once he made comments about your weight, saying that you'd have to lose a few pounds if you wanted anything serious with him so he could be seen with you in public.
You told Hellboy everything, the two of you sat on the couch in the living room. You were still dressed up and eating a tub of ice cream while Hellboy was watching some weird tv show he liked. Hellboy just grunted, “He sounds like a dick,” “He was, but yeah, I guess I should lose a few pounds if I want to get someone better.”
Hellboy had scoffed, “That’s ridiculous, you’re perfect as is. Don't let that asshole change your mind.” You had stopped the scoop of ice cream headed into your mouth and turned your head to look at Hellboy. He wasn't looking at you so you had the chance to just stare at him for a bit. You felt your heart race just a little bit faster than usual and a weird feeling in your lower stomach. That was your cue to stop looking so you just ignored it and went back to eating your ice cream.
From then on, you found yourself noticing things you didn't before. Well, you noticed them but everything he did seemed to have a different effect on you than before. The way he laughed, spoke, joked about, just anything he did in general was making you feel a weird attraction to him that you couldn't explain. Well, that was until a few days ago. You’d met up with Alice, the two of you had met a couple months back and you made sure to check in with her at least a couple times a week.
“Yeah, I just don't know what’s wrong with me,” “Are you for real? It's so obvious, you like him.” You had refused to believe her at first and you changed the topic but then you couldn't get the idea out of your head. Maybe she was right. You hadn't been the one to be shy about your feelings so once you finally decided that there was a possibility that Alice was right and you liked him more than a friend, you needed to tell him.
“I like you.”
You wished you’d never told him. It hadn't gone well. It didn't go bad though, either. He just kind of stood there and stared at you. Then he went to the fridge and pulled out a beer so you left before he turned around. Since then, you hadn't seen him. Which brings us to now. You were invited to a birthday party that Alice was having. When you talked to her on the phone, she told you that she would make sure that Hellboy would be coming.
There was three ways that you could do this. One, you could just stay home and not go to the party at all, except you’d already promised Alice that you would and you didn't want to miss her birthday party. Two, you could go and completely ignore him, giving him a taste of his own medicine and avoid him at every turn. Or three, you could go all out and have a good time without caring about the demon that you couldn't get out of your head.
After much consideration, you decided to go with option three. Who cares about him? Well, you did but that's not the point. You were going to go and have a good time, Hellboy be damned. With new confidence and motivation, you headed to your wardrobe and pulled out just the right outfit.
---
In your little red dress and heels, you walked into Alice’s apartment and your eyes scouted for the birthday girl. You saw her and the two of you smiled and she ran over to you, “You look good, trying to impress a certain someone?” You shook your head but the both of you knew that wasn't true. The two of you talked for a little bit before one of her other friends arrived and she left to greet them. You were left by yourself for a little bit until you headed into the kitchen to get a drink. There wasn't much choice to choose from so you decided on just a bottle of beer.
“Since when do you drink beer?” You jumped and turned around, your hand over your chest, “Don't fucking sneak up on people, jackass.” Hellboy chuckled then his face turned serious, “Sorry.” “It’s fine, just don't do it again.” Hellboy scoffed, “I wasn't talking about scaring you.” “I know.” You looked down and your lips curved into a small smile. There was a little silence before he said, “You look amazing.” “I know.” This time you both chuckled and you looked up to see him smiling at you. You walked closer and softly shoved his shoulder, “I missed you, idiot.”
Hellboy sighed, “I know. I...missed you too.” “Then why’d you stay away?” Hellboy looked around the room full of people before gently grabbing your upper arm and leading you outside onto the balcony. You sat on the stairs for the fire escape while Hellboy leaned against the railing. “I was scared.” “You? Scared?” You wanted to laugh but Hellboy’s serious expression took the amusement out of the situation, “What were you scared of?”
“That if we went down this path, you'd eventually realise that you could do so much better than me.” You hummed, “Maybe I could do better, but that doesn't mean I want better. I guess it's up to you to take that risk and trust me.” Hellboy didn't look at you until you got up to stand next to him, your shoulder touching his bicep. He wrapped his normal arm around you, realising you must be cold.
“I can be jealous and I drink a lot.” You laughed, “You think I don't know that? There’s nothing I don't know about you and you can’t scare me away, Big Red.” Hellboy smirked, pulling you closer, “So I guess we’re doing this then.” “I guess we are.” You moved to turn on your side a little, pressing yourself against his chest.
“I’m not wearing anything under this dress.” “Are you trying to kill me?”

I don't know if the translation will be totally the same, since it was based on the Google translator, sorry.
N/b = boy's name.
C/y/e = color of your eyes.
Tumblr media
— You can't do this anymore! — Liam changes, scaring the girl in front of him a little.
— You can't stop me! I want to help! — Y/n complains in a higher tone. If he wants to scream, I scream louder, that's what the girl thought.
— You can't take chances like that anymore, Y/n! It's too dangerous... — Liam lowers his voice, feeling exhausted. He just wanted Y/n to be safe, without being in danger, but it seems that the more he tried to get you away from everything, the more you got into the pack's affairs. — I can not lose you...
— You won't lose me, Liam! — Y/n exclaims tiredly. Tired of being underestimated just for being human, so what if she wasn't a werewolf? Or a Kitsune? Or even a hunter? Stiles was also human and that was not why they kept excluding him and putting him out of business. She could help, she wanted to help... But it seems that her boyfriend did not understand and that frustrated her.
— You do not know! — Liam yells running his hands through his hair aggressively and it irritates the girl a lot. He hated being yelled at. — Scott also trusted that he would not lose Allison and now she is dead!
Y/n takes a step back, feeling the impact of those harsh words thrown at her, it was as if she had been shot... A shot by the person she trusted most. Liam regrets his words at the same time they left his mouth, despite not knowing the hunter, he knew he had been a great friend of his girlfriend and knew that it hurt her deeply seeing his shocked and very hurt expression on his eyes, hit yourself mentally. It had crossed the line.
— Y/n... II... I'm sorry... — the boy tries to approach his girlfriend to apologize and feels his heart being broken when she walks away, shaking her head. And it was at that moment that he realized the shit he had done and did not know if S / n would forgive him so easily. — Please... Give me...
— No, Liam! — despite changing his voice a little, Y/n takes a deep breath to compose himself. — No, Liam...
The girl turns to get out of there as quickly as possible, she couldn't stand looking at the boy's face. I was too hurt for that.
— Where are you going? Y/n... — Liam calls her starting to go after her, but stops when the following words come out of the mouth that he loves so much.
— Leave me, Liam. I need some time. — she for a few seconds before completing so that he understood better. — A time without you, a time from you.
And that time lasted for weeks, the two did not speak for long weeks. The girl for still being extremely hurt by the phrase of the boyfriend and the boy — after much advice from Lydia — to give the space that the girlfriend asked for.
They were both miserable, but neither would give their arm to cheer to admit that they needed each other. They were so proud. Everyone around them was tired of seeing them suffer, but they couldn't do anything about it when the decision was unique to the teenagers.
Liam aggression problems had gradually worsened since the fight over the unfortunate feeling of his Alpha, Scott. The boy could not control himself in the face of a stressful situation and the rest of the pack always had to be two steps away from him so that he did not become among the students or even hurt someone.
Now Y/n, despite not wanting to see the boy or painted by another, needed him as much as he needed her. Her anxiety attacks increased in a surprising way, if she couldn't take it before, imagine now. She was exhausted, her dark circles very apparent indicated that, they were big dark bags under her eyes C/y/e, purple rings that she tried to hide with pounds of makeup, which was not much use, by the way. And these problems of aggression and anxiety attacks, only they could solve these problems. The boyfriends helped each other, that was a fact.
Everyone at the school was already aware that the couple were fighting and that made several people "excited". Especially a boy who was talking to Y/n at that very moment. Although the boys were happy that Y/n was "single", none of them were brave enough to approach the girl, knew about Liam's background and would not risk it that way. With the exception of N/b, of course.
If looks killed, they would be dead only by Liam's firing who watched the two of them talking, his hands were shaking with anger and he was trying to control himself as much as possible not to go after the boy, but if he kept hitting on his girl, I wasn't sure if I could control myself.
— Come on... It'll be cool. — it was the third time that N/b insisted that Y/n accept to go out with him. The girl had already refused the first two and was starting to get stressed by the annoying boy's insistence. The boy was nice, had a good chat and was distracting her lately, but it was just friendship. At first Y/n thought he just wanted it, but now he had doubts about it. All she wanted was for him to leave her alone at that moment so that she could go to her last class and finally go home to become a vegetable again.
— Look... Thanks for the invitation, but no. — Y/n already tired of all this, she turns to leave, but is stopped abruptly by a somewhat strong grip on her arm.
— I'll have to insist a little more. — The boy smiles in a strange way and she was ready to punch him in the face when someone else intervenes.
Liam, who was watching everything from afar, was just waiting for the right moment to disturb them both, but the fuse was to see him hold her in that unkind way, leaving his things on the floor, he quickly went towards the closet of Y/n under Scott protests.
— Hey man ... Let her go. — Liam speech catches the eye of the N / g who rolls his eyes.
— Y/n doesn't want your presence here, does it, Y/n? - N/b looks at the girl waiting for her answer but she keeps silent. At that, N/b turns to Liam. — She told me herself.
Liam looks at Y/n expecting her to deny that statement, but when he doesn't have it, he feels his heart break a little more. Y/n felt guilty for not being able to deny it, after all it was not a lie. I had even told N/b that I didn't want the boy's presence, but that was in the first week of the fight, when I was still very angry, but now there was no going back and there was no use trying to explain myself, they weren't even talking done.
— Just let me go, okay? — Y/n asked pulling his arm abruptly to get out of his grip ignoring the look of dog without owner of Liam.
— Wait a minute ... Let's talk, babe. — N/b pulls her closer and that's the trigger for Liam to explode.
— She told you to let go! — Liam cries out by attacking the boy.
— Liam! — Y/n exclaims in shock seeing the scene in front of him. She jumps back when the two boys start to grapple with each other. N/b punches Liam in the jaw which seems to infuriate him even more, because the boy is a werewolf and his problem with aggression, N/b face was already bathed in blood. — Liam stop! Scott! Separate them!
Y/n asks desperately for the alpha who had arrived there at that exact moment with the other curious students. The crooked-chin boy pulls his beta sharply and presses it with all his strength in the school lockers, Liam struggles furiously making Scott look sideways to see if anyone is watching them, noting that the students are helping N/b to get up — since he was about to pass out — he turns to Liam with his red alpha eyes.
— Liam, for now! — the uncontrolled beta calms down a little by the order of the alpha, taking a deep breath to calm down.
— What's going on here?! — Professor of Economics and Physical Education Coach, Bobby Finstock arrives screaming seeing the confusion that was there. The students leave in fear of being left for them, leaving only Y/n, Liam, Scott and N/b. — I don't want to know, everyone for detention! Now! And you, my son, try not to stain the floor with blood!
— You will stay here until I say you can leave! — Finstock yells when everyone enters the library. — Pack up all the books! Go, go!
The arrest would be to organize all the books in the library as punishment, Y/n was frustrated since she hadn't asked Liam to get into a fight for her, but she was also grateful. Scott had freed himself from the punishment by saying that he had only separated the two.
There were three of them and that wouldn’t be good for Y/n. She decides to ignore the two and start her work to leave as soon as possible, the tension was almost palpable and it bothered her in an unequaled way. The professor had already left saying that he had no patience to keep an eye on inconsequential young people.
N/b soon tried to start also going to one of the shelves at the back, Liam already decided to try to start a conversation with the girl. Preventing the passage of Y/n, it catches your eye.
— Y/n... — the girl looks at him in disbelief. — We can talk?
— Not now, Liam.
— Not! You will hear me! I know I am not sure in this situation, but that is not doing any good for either of them. — exasperates tired of the whole situation. — II want to apologize for what I said that day, I have no excuse for that, but I was angry and you know how I look when I'm like this. But I can't take it anymore, your lack is killing me! Thinking of you became my daily torture, I know I lost you for a stupid mistake I made, but my heart doesn't understand that you don't want me anymore... I ran for hours and hours in the forest every day in the hope that tiredness make me get you out of my head, I hate to miss you! I hate to be so dependent on you! But damn, I love you! I love you so much and I'm afraid of losing you! I don't know what I would do if you got hurt and...
His speech is cut off when Y/n throws himself into his arms and embraces him with all his strength, the two enjoy the first physical contact after weeks apart. Liam sighs in relief knowing that that hug means that Y/n had excused him, but in a mental note he remembers that his girlfriend is quite spiteful and that he would have to try harder to have his forgiveness definitively.
— Science says that love is like a drug... When I see you go into a trance, the adrenaline runs faster and stronger through my veins, my heartbeat is completely unregulated. The feeling of love is like cocaine, every day I become more addicted to you, the more I saw you far away, but I needed to get your forgiveness, but my pride was greater. I never loved anyone like I love you, because I never met someone as perfect as you. I love you and that's enough for me to be happy. My heart is sincere and my words are honest, I assume that I love you to infinity. I will not lie to myself anymore... I want to be with you every day of my life!
— I love you. — Y/n says emotionally with all the beautiful words that her boyfriend said.
— You guys are so cheesy. — the boy with his face all bruised ends with the cute moment of the couple leaving them irritated.
The two turn to N/b and say together:
— Shut up!
