a/n: dear reader, thank you so much for following this series - i never imagined you would like it so much. i hope you enjoy this final fic, and please do reblog if yes! i’m sad to leave ceddie and harry, but i like how i've ended it :)
The morning after Cedric’s surprise party, you’re woken up by the soft sunlight streaming in through the huge windows of the Hufflepuff common room. Lifting your head up, you hear Cedric grumble, arms tightening around you. The scene feels so cozy that you don’t want to return to reality - but there’s a Herbology midterm coming up, and you’ve never been a natural at the subject, unlike a certain Hufflepuff. And so, you begin extricating yourself from Cedric’s embrace, which is no easy feat.
“How’s it feel to be seventeen, Ceddie?”
You get a groan in response.
“Alright, alright, then you stay put, but I’ve got to go study. I’m not a genius like you,” you tease, squirming in your efforts to slide out of his grasp.
“‘M not a genius, Y/N/N. You help me all the time. Don’t go, I know you’re ready for it, you don’t need anymore studying,” comes a sleepy protest.
“Mm… thank you for your confidence, but I assure you I am not in the least prepared. And what is all this bad advice coming from a prefect,” you raise an eyebrow, before finally slipping out of Cedric’s arms, and standing up immediately to avoid being pulled back in.
You feel the loss of Cedric’s warmth around your shoulders, and it weakens your resolve far more than it should, so you figure you need to leave as soon as possible, before grey eyes melt you into a puddle and back into his chest.
“Oh, fine. Leave me right after spending the night,” Cedric jokes, fully awake at last. He chuckles at the flush on your cheeks from this statement, and dodges your hit to his arm. “Just kidding, darling. Thank you for the party. Now go do what you have to do, I know you’re a busy girl.”
You smile softly, before tiptoeing up to ruffle his hair, and turn to leave. The gray eyes don’t leave you until you’re fully out of sight.
******
Climbing through the portrait hole, you see Ron and Harry sitting on the carpeted floor in front of the hearth, playing Wizard’s Chess, and Hermione engrossed in a book on the nearby couch. The scene is so familiar and comforting that it brings an involuntary smile to your face, before you wipe it off, the fight replaying in your head.
Ron is the first to see you, freezing mid-check, and gives a weak wave. Harry turns, and so does Hermione, with the former also stiffing up, and the latter offering a sweet smile. Hermione then looks back, and, finding the two boys silent, rolls her eyes, and jerks her head in your direction, glaring at them.
Spurned, Ron and Harry stand up, and walk over, looking so dejected that you almost feel sorry for them.
“Y/N - it’s nice to see you again,” Ron begins, his expression sheepish. Harry nods to echo the sentiment.
“We just wanted to apologize for that night. For the mean things we said. None of it was true, and it was of no fault on your end,” Ron confesses.
Your eyes soften, and give him a pat on the shoulder, “thanks Ronnie. And I expect you’ve said the same to ‘Mione?” giving him a pointed look, to which he nods fervently. At this, you offer a smile at last, and seeing this, Ron seems to realize he’s forgiven.
“I’ll give you two some space then,” he says, guiding Hermione away, and leaving Harry alone with you in the Gryffindor Common Room.
Harry gestures for you to sit, and the two of you settle in on the carpet.
“Y/N/N - I’m really, honestly sorry. I had no right to say what I said, and I’ve felt horrid about it every day since then. I know you’ll always have my back, and some Yule Ball date would never change that. I hope you’ll forgive me,” the black haired boy finally blurts, the words spilling out of him.
Your resolve crumbles. I mean, this is Harry. One of your best friends. You could never stay mad at him, no matter how much he messes up. It’s like he said: you have each other’s backs. So you lean forward and hug him, breathing in the smell of broom polish and treacle toffee that you had missed incredibly, feeling the boy physically relax into your touch.
“You really like him, don’t you?” Harry chimes, as you pull out of the hug.
“Yes, I do. And I hope you’re okay with that,” you share, crimson spilling onto your cheeks.
Harry nods, a grin spreading across his face, “I am, really. I know I acted in jealousy at the ball, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually felt romantically towards you - not that you’re unlikeable, you know, just -”
You laugh out loud, cutting him off, and offer a nod, “I get it, don’t stress yourself out, mate.”
He nods in relief, “you’re my best friend, Y/N/N, and that’s it. I love our relationship, and I do not want it to ever change.”
You nod, feeling better than you have in nearly a month.
Ron and Hermione choose that exact moment to enter the room, the guilt of eavesdropping written on their faces. But you’re far too happy to care - the gang’s back together.
******
Over the next month, life returns to normal, or rather, a new normal. Hermione is hanging out with Krum as much as possible, to make the most of their time together before the tournament ends and he returns to Durmstrang. You don’t see her nearly as much anymore, but it’s understandable.
Instead, you spend your days either studying out on the greens with Harry and Ron, or hanging out with Cedric, going to Hogsmeade’s various little cafes.
The second tournament task comes along, and you, Hermione, and Ron are pulled into the headmaster’s office then sent to the bottom of the Black Lake. When you awake, Cedric is treading water to keep the two of you above the lake, and you’re quickly pulled out and given a warm towel. Since Cedric finished first, the two of you rest in the champion seating section, and the boy keeps asking you if you’re okay, despite your fervent exclamations that you’re probably doing better than he is.
His friends soon surround him, arriving with endless teasing about how you’re the person “he’ll sorely miss,” and Cedric flushes scarlet at their words, refusing to meet your eyes. Eventually, he manages to shove them all away, and looks down to see you grinning.
“Ced, just so you know, I would’ve sorely missed you too,” you admit, before pressing a quick kiss to his lips.
Suddenly, Cedric could care less about his friends. He feels warm and dry and cozy, not a trace of the Black Lake’s eeriness on his mind.
******
A few weeks later, and it’s your birthday. Cedric had wracked his brain for ways to top your surprise party for him, and enlisted the help of the trio to do so. Hermione contributed all your likes and dislikes: she knew you like the back of her hand; Ron got Fred and George to put together a little sparkler show for you, and Harry was in charge of inviting all your closest friends.
The day of, you wake up to Cedric’s voice, before he gives you five minutes to pick an outfit, then promptly blindfolds you and leads you out to the courtyard, where the cutest picnic party had been set up. You laugh in delight, ecstatic, and after a quick kiss for Ced, rush over to meet up with your friends.
As you catch up over drinks with them, two boys, one Gryffindor, one Hufflepuff, are standing a distance away, both looking at you with slight smiles.
Soon, the sky is darkening and the party growing more and more uproarious. You spin around to see Harry and Cedric talking, and grin. Strolling over, you place an arm around each. Cedric kisses your hair, and you give Harry a tight hug.
“Thank you for all of this,” you say, “seriously. I’ve never been happier.”
Before they can reply: you were never one for cheesy emotions, you (forcibly) pull them toward the karaoke machine, where Ron and Hermione are singing their hearts out.

Shared Suffering

Cedric Diggory x Reader | ☁️ | 1.5k | Soulmate AU
Tumblr media
When you had woken up this morning, you had felt sore everywhere. It was the kind of feeling of having pushed yourself too hard while doing a physical activity the day before and all your muscles hurt the next day kind of feeling.
Which you had done nothing of that sort yesterday - having spent the day studying at the library.
So this could only mean one thing.
Letting out a groan, you rolled over in bed, trying to find a comfortable position. Looks like this weekend was going to just be trying to recover from the pain that wasn’t yours.
Whose pain were you experiencing you may ask?
Your soulmate’s.
After your first year of studying at Hogwarts, the feeling of being sore or even in pain at times was a common occurrence for you.
It took a while, but you had soon deduced that your soulmate was an athlete. There was no other possible explanation besides them being a big klutz. But even then, who periodically gets hurt like that on a timely manner?
Having deduced this, you had always made sure that you were always careful not to add to their existing constant soreness.
It didn’t mean you were happy with this situation though.
The frown on your face deepened as you sat up.
As you slowly moved around to get ready for the day, the sound of knocking on your door halted your actions.
“Good morning, (Y/N)!”
Tracey stuck her head into your room, her signature bright smile adorning her face.
“Not a good morning,” you responded, shaking your head a small smile on your face.
“Whaaat?” Tracey asked, bouncing her way in. She immediately made herself at home in your room. “Is it your soulmate again?”
You nodded. “I’m literally sore everywhere. Maybe I should have stayed in bed today.”
“You promised to come with me to watch the Quidditch match though!” Tracey protested. “Should I beat up your soulmate when you find out who they are? They deserve it for putting you through so much pain.”
“Appreciated. But then I’d feel it too,” you said.
Tracey made a face. “Unfortunate. Well, we should get going!”
You stifled back a yawn as Tracey looped her arm around yours. “Where do you get all your energy from?”
Tracey just laughed as she pulled you off.
Through the flurry of breakfast and chatting with other friends, the morning went by quickly as your soreness faded. Lucky for you, your soulmate must have decided they had enough training from yesterday.
It wasn’t long before Tracey and your other friends noticed the time and hurried you all off to the Quidditch field where the match was going to take place.
Slytherin vs Hufflepuff.
Pulled into the already busy stands that were filled with yellow and black, you looked around. You honestly weren’t too big on sports, so in the first few years of Hogwarts, you would drop by to watch the odd match. Ever since finding out your soulmate was potentially an athlete, you began to show up more frequently.
You knew enough of the game to tell when a team scored, and that was good enough for you.
A blur of robes flew by the stands, causing everyone around you to erupt in cheers.
“Here we go!” Tracey exclaimed, hanging onto you.
With the excitement in the air, you watched the game in quiet awe as the players soared around the field. Points were being scored and the game was looking rather close.
It was drawing close to late game when a sparkle caught your eye - the golden snitch.
Clearly that was when the seeker of the Hufflepuff team noticed it as well, as he went after it quickly.
Cedric Diggory - the Hufflepuff prefect, Quidditch team captain, and the ideal student.
Someone like him always felt pretty distant with how much he was accomplishing despite how friendly he was with everyone.
Sure, he was captivating and managed to catch a lot of attention. And right now, he had your full attention.
Or at least the attention you could manage after feeling like you’ve been punched in the stomach and the wind knocked out of you.
“- and Diggory is hit by a Bludger, yikes, that one looked rough...”
“(Y/N)?” Tracey asked, noticing you bent over and hugging your stomach. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah,” you wheezed, keeping an eye on the Seeker. He had placed a hand on his stomach and had a grimace on his face, but was already getting himself back into the game. “I think I found my soulmate.”
Tumblr media
“We won!”
“Woohoo!”
The cheers of the Hufflepuff house filled the entire stadium and continued into the Common Room as everyone celebrated the victory.
Cedric felt his teammates clap his back as they congratulated him for catching the snitch that helped win the game.
“Sorry about the Bludger, mate,” Anthony apologized. “You feeling okay?”
“Yeah, don’t worry about it,” Cedric reassured.
Anthony shook his head with a smile. “Your poor soulmate.”
Cedric awkwardly laughed. Caught up with Quidditch practice and games, he often let it slip past his thoughts that his soulmate experienced his pain too.
Making his way through the Common Room with quite a bit of trouble from the excited Hufflepuffs, he managed to leave the room only to bump into someone else.
The figure in front of him had moved back and the sound of them banging into something filled the air.
It wasn’t the noise that caught Cedric’s attention. Rather, it was the jolt of feeling as if he had run his elbow into something.
“I’m so sorry,” he apologized, reaching out to stabilize the girl he bumped into.
She looked up, (E/C) eyes meeting his. “It’s fine, Cedric, I wasn’t really looking where I was going either.”
Just out of the corner of his eye, he could see she was cradling her elbow.
The same elbow he had felt hurt - even if it was temporarily.
Tumblr media
You awkwardly waited as Cedric still held onto you at an arm’s length. Accidentally bumping into him was not part of your plan. In fact, you weren’t sure what your plan was let him know you were his soulmate.
After apologizing to you, the head boy had simply frozen in front of you.
“Um, Cedric?” you quietly asked.
Your voice broke him out of his trance as he took one of your hands in his own.
“Come with me.”
Without any additional warnings, he pulled you off. You could feel your cheeks heating up as you noticed others were noticing the situation you were in as the two of you maneuvered through the hallways. If this kept up, everyone would soon be talking about how the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain dragged a girl - you - off somewhere after winning the match.
Once the two of you were away from everyone else, Cedric took a step towards you.
Flustered, you halted, watching the situation unfold.
“Your elbow...” He quietly gestured towards the elbow that you had bumped earlier with a nod of head. “Sorry about that.”
Hearing this made you immediately realize that he knew. He had felt it too.
He knew.
“I’m sorry about before as well - you felt that during the game, didn’t you?”
You were hesitant, but you gave him a small nod.
“It’s okay though,” you immediately reassured him with a wave of your hands. “I know to expect these feelings.”
You could see the downward tug on his lips that made his charming face look sad. Before you had the chance to even think of another way to reassure the Hufflepuff Head Boy, he pulled you into a warm embrace.
“I’m sorry I put you through all that,” he murmured.
The sound of his heartbeat racing and the genuine tone of his voice made you melt. Slowly lifting up your arms, you held onto him. Once Cedric felt this, you could feel him relax as well.
Perhaps finally finding and being with your soulmate stirred up feelings in you, but at the moment, there was no where else you would rather be. Being so close to him, you could smell his sweat from just winning the Quidditch match, along with something else you couldn’t name, but whatever it was, it was very calming.
“Have you known long?” Cedric asked.
You shook your head. “That Bludger today was actually what made me realize it was you.”
Cedric made a mental note to thank Anthony later.
“Take it easy during practices please,” you mumbled into his chest. “I was so sore this morning.”
Your soulmate leaned back so he could look at you properly. You were his soulmate and nothing could make him happier. Even though he had just met you, Cedric knew that this was going to be the start to something beautiful. The smile he had on his face - one you would soon learn that it was meant only for you - lit up the dim hallway.
“I’ll try my best. Anything for my soulmate.”

The bad girl gets what she deserves
Read part 2 here!
(Link to masterlist)
Pairing: Cedric Diggory x fem!Reader
NSFW 18+ only! This is mostly filthy smut with some plot
A/N: Hi, I just had this random idea for the story pop up in my head out of nowhere about how the bad girl seduces the good boy. I thought I’d choose Cedric to write about since I haven’t seen a whole lot of fanfics about him. And since he’s already a Hufflepuff, I decided to make the reader a Slytherin, they’re my two favorite houses. This is really the filthiest one-shot I’ve ever written for now, I might write more I don’t know.
Summary: After Cedric finds a note in his bag, he makes it his mission to find out who sent it.
Word count: 4.1k
Warnings/tags: nsfw, minors DNI, smut, sexual content, porn with a hint of plot, oral sex, masturbation, rule breaking, 18+ only, p in v sex, orgasm denial, bathtub sex, nudity, reader is a bad girl, Cedric and reader are of age, Slytherin/Hufflepuff house rivalry, teasing, swearing
I probably missed some stuff, but this is what I was able to come up with for now.

Meet me in the Prefects’ bathroom after dinner.
-XOXO
There were many unanswered questions going through Cedric Diggory’s mind as he held the little note in his hand. He thought it had to be meant for someone else and it accidentally ended up in his possessions until he turned it over and there was a heart drawn around his name. He had never gotten a note of this nature in his life. He mostly stuck to hanging out with the students from his house, so it had to be one of them. A more broad and logical explanation was that it was just someone who knew the password. He concluded in his mind.
He had already come up with a list of names by the time he walked over to the Great Hall to join his friends for dinner.
The main question was, how did this person slip it into his school bag without him noticing? Of course. It was obvious. Cedric had Quidditch practice today. That’s how this person was able to put the note in his bag without him noticing.
“Hi Cedric!” One of the first year students in his house waved at him, smiling ear to ear. One of the things Cedric loved about being in Hufflepuff was how close the students from different years seemed to be compared to the other houses.
He discreetly put the note in his pocket and waved back at the younger boy. Scanning his eyes along the Hufflepuff table to catch if anyone was staring at him, he took a seat.
“How was practice today?” The younger student asked Cedric. “We all saw you out there. We all think you’re gonna win the next match!”
“Yeah go Cedric!” Another student hooted from a few seats down. He responded with a thumbs up.
“It was good.” He answered. He was about to dig into his plate when he caught what the first year said. This was his opportunity to get another clue about the identity of the person who wrote the note. “Wait. You were at practice? Did you see anyone going inside or coming out of the changing rooms besides the team?”
The student froze and then looked around in all directions as if someone was watching him. “No. I mean, not that it would be my business. We were just there to watch the team.” He laughed nervously.
Cedric thought there was something the kid wasn’t telling him, but he dismissed that thought. He was going to find out who sent the note eventually, prank or not.
“Hi Cedric.” The entire Hufflepuff table seemed to hold their breath as he heard a voice behind him. He saw the younger student’s eyes go wide. Cedric’s breath hitched in his throat as his eyes met yours. He felt his cheeks heat up as he realized his face was leveled with your chest with the way he was sitting. He knew he wasn’t the only one that noticed it as you smirked at him.
For most of his time at Hogwarts, Cedric had tried to stay out of the way of the Slytherins due to their reputation as bullies, but with you, he just couldn’t do it. Being in the same year and having the same preferences for school subjects, you had most of your classes with him.
The other kids warned him about being scared of you, so he felt nervous around you. There would be times where he’d catch you looking in his direction, and instead of looking away with a blush and a giggle like the other girls, he’d find himself taken aback by how you’d maintain eye contact and bat your lashes as if daring him to look away first.
“What are you doing here?” A student from your year asked you in a warning sort of way.
You rolled your eyes. “Can’t I just wish good luck to another team without being interrogated?”
“Why would you wish us good luck?” The same student frowned at you. “Our team is playing against yours. In case you forgot.”
“Well, it’s not against rules of friendly competition to wish good luck to the opponents. In case you forgot.” Cedric couldn’t stop the grin from popping out of his face at your wit.
“Anyways,” you said with a wave of your hand as if you got a minor inconvenience out of the way. “I came to wish Cedric good luck.”
“Me? Why me?” Cedric turned his whole body outside the bench so that his knees were almost touching you.
“Because you’re the Seeker and Captain. You’re a very important player.” You purred.
You leaned down and lightly placed your hands on his knees. If he thought you didn’t make him any more nervous, he was wrong. This was the first time he had the chance to see your face this close. He could feel his heart racing as his eyes involuntarily went to your lips.
He felt his breathing become shallower than it already was as you leaned into his ear. “I’ve seen the way your little friends look up to you. Not to put more pressure on you, but if I were them, I would want the best for my hero.”
“Th-Thanks?” Was all that could come out of his mouth. You leaned back away from his ear to take a look at his flushed face.
“Of course. Good luck. And see you later.” You winked and got up before leaving the Great Hall.
Did you just flirt with him? You had to be. You weren’t as shy and quiet as the girls in Hufflepuff. You were a Slytherin, but he could see how you embodied a bit of the traits from other houses too. You had the boldness of a Gryffindor, the wit of a Ravenclaw, and you were as hardworking as the Hufflepuffs even though you weren’t shy.
He’d seen you being flirty around the boys in your house, not that it led to anything serious. Sometimes, he wondered how your relationship would have been had you been sorted into the same house. You would’ve become good friends with him, Cedric was sure of it.
As you got older and started sharing more class with him, he noticed little things about you he never thought about. Like how when you would get into trouble with the other Prefects, you’d get into fights with them, but whenever Cedric would catch you breaking the rules, it was like you were a whole different person with the way you’d accept whatever punishment he had to give you with a smirk.
To have your attention be focused on him, had him feeling some type of way he never felt with any other girl who flirted with him. He thought you were one of the most beautiful girls in school, but your reputation for also being one of the most intimidating Slytherins was what set you apart from those other beautiful girls. In other words, he didn’t think he had a chance with you.
“Who cares what she thinks, Cedric. We’re gonna be the best team at our match!” One of his teammates exclaimed, pumping his fist in the air.
“Yeah, she’s just a big meanie.” Another first year boy said.
“Don’t worry guys. I won’t let you down.” Cedric patted him on the head and gave a reassuring smile.
Gripping the note inside his pocket, Cedric made his way past the other students around him, going off to the library to catch up on studying or to retire to their common rooms. He needed to find out the identity of the person who wrote the note. Had it not contained a heart with his name on it, he wouldn’t be as suspicious of someone asking to meet somewhere as private as the Prefects’ bathroom.
Cedric kept a grip on his wand with his other hand while he considered the possibility that it could just be a prank. He was wise enough to know how to handle himself.
His grip on his wand tightened as he stood in front of the door to the bathroom and muttered the password.
You were the one he should have suspected from the beginning, Cedric realized as his eyes met yours.
“Hi, Cedric. I see you got the note I sent you.” You greeted him, taking a step closer to him. He swallowed a lump in his throat as he took in your appearance. He took a seat on one of the benches next to the large bathtub. “And no, it’s not a prank.”
He couldn’t and wouldn’t stop himself from letting his eyes wander around your body, covered by nothing but a towel. Your hair was up in a messy bun and droplets of water still clung to your skin.
“But h-how did you-” Cedric couldn’t finish his sentence, so you finished it for him.
“How did I put the note in your bag? Easy. During Quidditch practice I snuck into the changing room, and your little first year friends saw me. Had to make them shut up. Don’t worry. I didn’t hurt them. How did I get in here? That was much easier. I asked the new fifth year Prefect, Malfoy, for the password in exchange for getting me to buy cigarettes and alcohol for him. He’s quite insufferable, really. Not all of us in Slytherin can stand him. Especially the older ones.”
“I know.” You said nonchalantly, pouting your lips. “I’m setting a bad example for the younger students. But wouldn’t you have done the same?” You stepped closer to him and untucked his tie from his sweater. You were standing between his legs, leaning towards him. He couldn’t stop inhaling your intoxicating scent as it overtook him, leaving him unable to answer.
“Oh that’s right.” You flicked your eyes towards him and smirked. “You’re a good boy. You wouldn’t give in. Are you gonna turn me in? For being somewhere I’m not supposed to be?”
“Why did you get me to come here then?” Cedric took a deep breath. You continued to fidget with his tie.
“Isn’t it obvious?” You gently tugged on the piece of fabric to the point of your noses almost touching. He held his breath as he saw you lick your lips.
Before you gave him time to answer, you whispered, “It’s because I want to fuck you.” He knew girls talked about him like that behind his back based on what his guy friends reported to him, but he had never had anyone say that sentence to his face.
He was shocked and taken aback by your boldness, but also turned on. The erection that had been forming in his trousers throughout the entire conversation only confirmed it.
The fact that you weren’t even touching his skin made him whimper.
“What’s wrong, Cutie?” That nickname you used unlocked a part of Cedric that wanted to rip that flimsy towel off your body and plant his lips onto every inch of your skin until you were the one who was left speechless. But he could only do so much as stay still as you led the interaction.
“You’re acting like those other shy girls who flirt with you. Speaking of other girls, sorry if I’m not the one you were expecting. I’ll go get dressed.” You said, getting up to turn around.
“No! No!” Cedric didn’t want you to leave him.
You raised your eyebrows.
“Don’t get dressed!” He pleaded. “I mean… it’s alright, you can do what you want to, you don’t have to-”
“Sure. I won’t get dressed.” You smiled coyly.
“Sorry.” He scratched the back of his neck. “You could leave if you want. I’ll just be…” he stood up.
“But you know I don’t actually want to leave.” You turned and slid your hands down his chest. He could feel how fast his heart was pounding against your palm through the layers of fabric.
“Did you really mean what you said?” Cedric asked, referring to your bold statement from earlier.
“That I want to fuck you?” You slid your palms down further along his stomach until your fingertips lightly grazed the bulge in his trousers. He groaned at the contact.
“Have you got any idea how often I touch myself while thinking about you? Wanna know where in the school I’ve touched myself?”
Cedric groaned louder as he felt your palm squeeze him a little more firmly.
“I’d love to be able to hump my mattress and pillows more often, but I share a dorm with way too many people for my taste.” You didn’t stop palming his erection. “When I know everyone else is asleep, I’ll sneak into the common room, take a seat on the couch, and spread my legs. I can’t tell you how many times I made myself cum on the same spot shared by so many people. Too bad I had to stop after I was almost caught by that brat, Malfoy.”
“You alright?” You looked up into Cedric’s eyes. No, he was not alright because you stopped your movements. He didn’t want you to stop.
“Keep going.” He commanded.
You smirked as your eyes skimmed from his flustered expression to where your hand currently rested.
“I had to get more creative.” You continued. “I like using the broom closet after classes, too. Oh yeah, and the library. It’s so easy to find a quiet place in the corner. Luckily Madam Pince never checks on me because she thinks I’m so good at being quiet. Lately, I’ve been taking longer showers and you can guess why. You’re a smart boy.” He didn’t need to ask you to know that it was because of him.
“How long does it take?” Cedric was getting curious.
“It’s different every time. Last night, I made myself cum in the shower five times in thirty minutes. Oh, the things you do to a girl without even realizing it.”
He almost choked on his spit.
“What? I’m not shy about it.” You started to unbuckle his belt.
“One of my favorite things to do to myself in the shower is let the water run along my body while I let the soap lather up on my tits. I thought about the things I’d let you do to them, like squeezing them, sucking on them. Fuck, that’d feel so good.”
“Just talking about it, it's making my pussy wetter than the shower.” In normal circumstances, he’d try to stop himself from imaging what your pussy would feel like on his fingers and his cock, but moments like that were far behind, and he didn’t give a damn.
“That’s right. You’re not the only one who’s turned on.” You admitted. You unzipped his fly, taking some of the constriction off of him. He didn’t bother holding back a whimper as you slipped your hand underneath the rest of the material and palmed him through his boxers.
“P-Please…” Cedric was at a loss for words again.
Letting go of him, you took a step back.
“Please, what?” You smirked. “Haven’t you got anything to say?” You were right, he was too flustered to form any sentences.
“Please make me feel good. Is that what you’re thinking?” You eyed his crotch and licked your lips. He nodded.
The both of you took a deep breath as you stepped towards him. You got up on your tiptoes and he lowered his neck. When your lips met, he cupped your cheeks with both hands and you planted yours against his chest.
Finally, after enduring your teasing for so long, he was able to give in.
Neither of you could not and did not want to hold back from your kiss. You let out a moan, and Cedric let his teeth graze along your bottom lip, which caused you to moan even louder.
In his hurried state, he’d already discarded his outer robe onto the bench. You tugged on his sweater, signaling him to take it off, which he did.
“Are you sure you want this?” Cedric asked.
It felt as if the air had been knocked out of him as you let your towel drop on the floor. If his face wasn’t already any more flushed, it was now.
You sat down on the same bench he was sitting on before. He was about to ask what you were doing when you placed your hands behind you for balance and spread your legs, giving him a full view of how wet your pussy was. “Is this enough to convince you that I do?” You asked.
“Fuck.” Cedric gasped and his eyes widened at the sight of your completely naked body. “You’re so beautiful.”
“Wow. I never thought I’d hear the good boy say a bad word.” You teased him.
He was admiring how the moonlight from the window made your eyes sparkle as you caught him gazing hungrily at your entire body from your breasts to your hips and thighs.
“You can touch them.” You held up your breasts and bounced them in your hands.
He reached his hand out to squeeze one of your breasts and gently graze his thumb along your nipple.
Cedric had barely touched you and you were already a panting mess in his hands. With his other hand, he mirrored the same thing he did to your other breast while you used one of your hands to trace your finger around your swollen clit.
The moment he caught onto what you were doing to yourself, he slowly got distracted enough to seize his movements, which made you stop as well.
“Let me turn on the water.” You said, gently prying his hands off your body.
“Wait-” he grabbed your hand. He couldn’t believe you had the audacity to leave him hanging after all the teasing you put him through.
“Believe me, after what I want to do to you, we’ll both be needing a bath.” You grinned mischievously. You turned to switch the faucet on.
“Does this mean you want to…” Cedric couldn’t get himself to say the words through his nervousness.
“We’ve got to do something while we wait for the water to fill up.” You said as you knelt down in front of him. “I wanna taste you, so bad, Cedric.” You ran your forefinger along the fabric of his boxers that was covering his bulge. “Don’t you think it would feel so good to have my lips wrapped around your cock? Don’t you want to make me scream and choke? See the bad girl shut up?” You had no idea he would’ve loved to see you do much more than choke on his cock. A part of him wanted to see that bad girl cry and break for him.
“Sure.” That’s all you needed to hear in order to get you to pull out his fully erect cock out of the confines of his boxers.
You gripped onto his thighs for support and licked from the bottom to the tip before sucking it between your lips.
Cedric wondered if you knew how gorgeous you looked with your pretty lips wrapped around his cock.
He threw out what very little self-control he had left as he grabbed the back of your head and pushed it further down onto his cock. He could feel the vibrations from you screaming around him. His breathing started to grow heavier as your head bobbed up and down faster.
“You look so beautiful like this!” He grunted. He was starting to get hot as he knew he was quickly getting close cumming. He discarded his school tie and started to unbutton his shirt.
“I’m gonna cum!” He gasped as he completely removed his shirt. That’s when you pulled your mouth away from him. He regretted saying that.
“No!” He grasped your jaw and forced you to look up. You stood up. You stared at each other as he gathered the saliva spilling down your chin with his thumb and ran it along your bottom lip. You used this as an opportunity to pull it between your lips and suck just as you did with his cock before you popped his thumb out of your mouth.
“The tub’s full, now.” You said, ignoring the extra protests that he threw at you.
Cedric watched as you climbed into the tub and switched the water off. He soon threw the rest of his clothes onto the bench and he followed you into the water that came up to your torso.
He saw the water droplets that clung to your breasts and made a move to lick them. He made a trail with his tongue from your collarbone to your nipple where he continued to lick and suck as you didn’t bother holding back a moan.
“Cedric, I want you to cum inside me!” He felt his boner poking your stomach at the sound of your whimpers.
You grabbed onto his shoulders and pushed him so that his back was to the edge of the tub. You let your lips hungrily devour each other’s. The feeling of your soft tits against his chest only made his desire to be inside you stronger.
He grabbed your thighs and hoisted them around his torso. You grabbed his cock in one hand, aiming it to where your entrance was while using your other hand to cling onto his shoulder to balance yourself.
He planted kisses along your neck and collarbone as you slowly sunk down onto him. You let out a string of curse words as you slowly moved up and down, your tits bouncing with you.
Besides the sounds of your bodies moving against each other, you loudly moaning, and the water splashing, it was dead silent in the room.
He grabbed both sides of your hips and began pounding into you faster and deeper. This made you scream even louder than before.
“Oh fuck, Cedric! Just like that! It feels so fucking good!”
He loved how unafraid you were to let yourself lose control in front of him.
“Cedric!” You sounded like you were sobbing.
“What is it, Sweetheart?” He rasped.
“I think I’m-fuck! Oh Cedric, fuck! It feels so… so good!” It was then that he knew you reached your orgasm. You continued screaming as you rode it out on his dick.
The feeling of your tight pussy pumping around him so vigorously in a repeated manner was what led up to him spilling himself inside you a minute later.
“Don’t stop! Keep going!” He ordered you.
“I fucking love how your cum feels inside me, Cedric!” You cried out.
He continued to hold onto you with him still inside you as he attempted to catch his breath and that’s when he pulled out. It quickly went back up as you softly dragged your nails along the goosebumps forming on the side of his neck. On the other side of his head, you planted equally as light kisses from his jaw to his earlobe. He had to check himself to see if this unreal feeling was what he was really experiencing as you started to nibble it.
“I’ve wanted to fuck you ever since the day I discovered how to pleasure myself.” You purred in his ear. “I don’t give a damn about the other boys I flirted with. It’s always been you, Cedric.”
At the mention of the other boys, he started to feel jealousy ignite in himself which was unusual for someone like him.
“Is that why you flirted with them in front of me?” He looked into your eyes for confirmation. “To make me jealous? To get me to notice you?”
“It worked.” You said. “I mean, I just got so bored of watching those girls talk about you and flirt with you I couldn’t take it anymore, so I thought I had to make you see how I felt. I shouldn’t have waited so long.”
He cupped your jaw and gently brought your lips together as soon as the both of you had calmed down. Your lips began to move along each other’s more frantically and it soon escalated into a make out session.
He quickly found himself getting addicted to the taste and feel of your plush lips which went so well with the lip balm you were wearing.
“What do you mean by waiting so long? How long exactly?” Cedric wanted to know more.
“Since our fifth year. When you became a Prefect and Captain of your Quidditch team.” You leaned your head into the crook of his neck. He absentmindedly stroked his knuckles along your bare shoulder.
“I’m just wondering, why not boys from your house’s team instead?”
You looked up into his eyes. “Because you’re so much better than them. Just because I’m in the same house as them doesn’t mean anything. They’re not as humble or as hard-working as you.”
“I don’t know what to say.” He blushed at your compliment. “Besides thank you, of course.”
You giggled.

request: hiya, so i'm currently obsessed with Cedric I've been watching Goblet of Fire over and over again. what about a Cedric Diggory x fem!reader. Where a new teacher arrives at Hogwarts with the last name Diggory. (He’s like the youngest professor at Hogwarts). One day the class finished early and one of his students asked about his father and mother. So he tells them the story about his parents. How his father died and his mother was left to raise their child by herself months after his death. And how she died sacrificing her life for her son since she was a muggle born. And as well how legend says that they’re still in the castle but as ghosts, happier now that they have each other in the afterlife
pairing(s): cedric diggory x fem!reader, charles diggory (oc) x mom!reader
a/n: sorry this took so long to get to, this probably isn't exactly what you had in mind but hopefully it still works? thank you for the request! flashbacks will be in italics.
trigger warnings: character death, shitty writing, unedited work, swearing
wc: 1.8k
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
Professor Charles Diggory was known around Hogwarts as the kind-eyed History of Magic professor, but more commonly, the offspring of deceased Triwizard champion Cedric Diggory and his girlfriend, Y/N L/N. He was one of the youngest teachers Hogwarts had seen till date, charms genetically inherited from his father, but his wit was his mothers alone. Upon laying eyes on him for the first time, surrounded by other first years in the Great Hall, Professor McGonagall had nearly broken down; for he was a carbon copy of a certain Hufflepuff she had taught years ago. And when Charles returned to Hogwarts aged 21, to apply for the teaching position, she had actually done it: he was older than both of his parents lived to be.
There was comfort in the thought, though, that this orphan had survived. That Y/N’s sacrifice hadn’t been for nothing.
It was a cold winter day and class was nearly finished, when a rather plucky Gryffindor finally summoned up the courage to ask Professor Diggory the story about his parents. “It is historical,” the witch with the scarlet tie reasoned, “Since it was a direct effect of the war, and History is always more interesting when it’s told through stories. No pressure, though.”
Charles sighed, running a hand through his hair- if anyone had caught sight of the back of his head, they would have mistaken him for his father- before speaking, “Fine, I’ll tell you, nosy lot.” The class chuckled, for his tone bore no malice, but quietened quickly as he spoke again.
“My mother, Y/N L/N, was a muggle born witch in Cedric’s year. The two of them met in their first year, but it wasn’t till the fifth that they finally started dating.”
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“Oi, L/N! Wait up!”
You turned, taken aback by the six foot frame running frantically towards you and slowed your step, your books balancing precariously in your arms.
“Yes, Diggory?” you asked, noting the way Cedric appeared to fumble with his words with a raise of your eyebrow. His cheeks pinked darker the longer your eyes stayed on him, and when you threw a glance over his shoulder, you saw a small crowd of his friends gathered in a cluster, both of your names thrown into the mix of the conversation they were having.
“Let me carry your books,” Cedric blurted out, already reaching for them as he spoke, “I’ll walk you to Potions. You do have Potions, right?”
“Yes,” you said, letting him relieve you of your items, “But you have Charms. That’s on the other side of the castle, Flitwick will have your head-”
“Let him,” Cedric cut you off, offering you his free hand before heading to your class. It was a testament to your relationship that the two of you had each other’s schedules memorised, he knew that, but he wasn’t going to ask you out while his friends ogled at the two of you. No, he didn’t want it to seem insincere, even if he was anything but. You had gone from being a stranger to someone he believed was his soulmate, and he wasn’t going to fuck it up.
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“Wow. You look like shit.”
“Way to win a girl’s heart, Ced.”
He laughed, sliding into the seat next to you, getting his own books out. He had spent most of the day searching for you, before Nearly Headless Nick had finally taken pity on the lost Hufflepuff, directing him to the library, where you were frantically cramming for your OWLs next week.
“I don’t even know why you bother studying,” Cedric said, noting the way your hand shook in exhaustion as you scribbled down notes after notes, the dark circles under your eyes etching black holes in his heart, “We all know you’re going to ace every subject. Wouldn’t be surprised if you topped the entire grade.”
“I won’t,” you said with conviction, “Not if I don’t drastically improve my understanding of Herbology in the next five days.”
“I can help with that,” the words were out of Cedric’s mouth before he even knew it, but judging by the way your head snapped up to finally look at him, your tired eyes somewhat filling with relief, it was worth it. “Really? But don’t you have your own OWLs to study for?”
“I do,” he agreed, “But I can’t really study on my own, as you probably know by now. So why don’t we help each other out?”
“Alright,” you responded, nodding your head slowly as you considered it, “But don’t you dare try to distract me, Diggory. These exams are important, and I don’t want to fuck them up.”
“Promise,” Cedric said solemnly, holding a pinky up like you had told him muggles do. You just laughed and swatted his hand away, before the two of you hit the books.
Five long days later, it turned out, you were the one who distracted him. Cedric was just about to walk into his first examination when he heard his name called, and upon turning, found arms thrown around his neck and soft lips on his mouth.
“For good luck,” you had cheekily whispered to him before running off, leaving the poor boy standing dazed in front of the classroom door, one hand touching his tingling lips.
“Well, Mr. Diggory?” McGonagall’s voice cut into the poems of praise he was inwardly writing for you, but she sounded almost amused. “Planning on entering anytime soon?”
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“In my father’s seventh year, as you all know, he was chosen for the Triwizard Championship. His competition was Viktor Krum, Fleur Delacour, and Harry Potter. My father placed second in the first task, after successfully defeating the Swedish Short-Snout dragon. For the second task, it was my mother who was held hostage underwater, something I like to assume is what propelled him to finish first.”
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
You were pregnant. It wasn’t something you had expected would happen, but now that you knew, you more than welcomed it. Your only regret was that you found out before Cedric had entered the tournament, maybe the knowledge that it was more than just you who needed him to stay alive would have held him back. Or maybe it wouldn’t have, you’d never know.
At school, you found yourself thrust into newfound popularity. Cedric had always been a social butterfly, having a friend in almost every corner of the castle at all times, but it had never extended so much to you. Everywhere you went, you received a clap on the back and a cheer, but you also had your fair share of jealous girls and guys, wondering what exactly it was that Cedric saw in you. What was curious was that you had barely caught sight of your boyfriend himself, but you reasoned that you’d see enough of him when all this was over.
The summons from Dumbledore was curious, but once he explained what the task was, you found no choice but to consent. Maybe it’d even give you a reason to finally talk to Cedric.
You were underwater for a long time, but it felt like mere seconds before you resurfaced again, Cedric’s hands desperately clinging to your waist as the two of you gasped for breath after breath, until your breathing finally returned to normal. Your hands found his shoulders, and you stayed there for a second, Cedric’s forehead pressing against yours as he asked you if you were okay in quiet, worried whispers. (A picture of the scene would make the cover of the Daily Prophet the next day, but neither of you knew or cared.)
“I’m pregnant,” you whispered into his ear as the two of you sat on the docks again, wrapping your towel around the shivering boy because he had given up his own to someone else. His arm came to wrap around your shoulder and pull you closer, before your words finally registered and he looked at you with wide eyes.
“Are you serious?” he asked, eyes searching yours for any hint of deception or mischievous. When you nodded yes, Cedric meshed his lips with yours, and though the crowd roared, the only thing that mattered was his hand tilting up your chin, and your own resting over his derailing heart.
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“My father,” Charles said, but his voice cracked on the words, glass splintering on the floor, “As you know, died at the hands of Voldemort. It was my mother who was left behind to raise me, and she did the best she could, for the three years following my birth.”
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
You weren’t safe anymore. Voldemort had put a price on the head of all muggle-born witches and wizards, and you were one of the last ones to survive. You had fled from city to city, finding refuge in the short moments you shared with your son, the few moments of peace where you could just hold him and shut your eyes, pretending your life wasn’t the nightmare it really was. A part of you knew that when they found him cradled in the hands of a Mudblood witch, they would consider your son poisoned, his magic tarnished. They would spare neither of you.
Currently, you were hiding out in Amos Diggory’s home. Your son, Charles Cedric Diggory, seemed happier with his grandfather than he had in a long while. Watching the two of them together, you felt an odd sensation of peace. An odd feeling of acceptance.
It was why, when the Ministry came calling, ripping the neighbourhood apart, you gave yourself up quietly. You wrote your son a letter explaining everything that had happened, explaining why he had no parents, and entrusted it to Amos to deliver when your boy was old enough. You were silent till the end, even when Umbridge taunted you, asking for any last words, you tipped your chin up defiantly, your mouth sealed shut.
You died quietly, but the silence was deafening.
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“She was executed, along with countless other muggleborns, before Harry Potter finally trumped Voldemort.”
The class was silent, save for the sniffles and sobs of a handful of students, silent tears streaming down the face of the witch who had asked. Charles took a shaky breath to regain composition, his own eyes glistening, before he continued the story.
“Legend has it,” he said, softer now, “That the two of them, Y/N L/N and Cedric Diggory, the brave people who I am proud to call my parents, are still in this castle, but as ghosts. Hidden away somewhere, maybe, no one knows exactly where they are. But a fortunate few have been lucky enough to glimpse a girl walking to class and a boy with a Hufflepuff tie scrambling behind her, her books in his hands. They are happier now, because although they missed out on time while they were alive, they have plenty of it in the afterlife.”

The Great Hall was practically bursting with the visiting students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, and (Y/N) positively hated it. He wanted his calm Saturday mornings back, when only a few students were sitting at their tables and minding their own business. Not even the Slytherin's would be out, then, but the Durmstrang students dragged them out almost every Saturday morning.
(Y/N) walked towards his table slowly, trying to squeeze around a crowd of students coming his way. He should've just stayed in bed like he had contemplated doing before coming down here.
Sitting down at the only free space at the table; the end of it, he grabbed his preferred breakfast items and started eating, sipping from his cup every so often but just generally zoned out on his plate. Because he was zoned out he didn't really notice when the students around him went quiet, and were looking in his direction.
Well he didn't notice until someone cleared their throat- that person being Cedric Diggory. (Y/N) looked up at him, glanced at everyone watching, and promptly turned tomato red. Cedric smiled a bit and just kept looking at (Y/N).
"(L/N)," he greeted.
"Diggory," (Y/N) responded, surprised at himself for not stumbling over his words as he so often did. He supposed it was just one word, but with this amount of people staring he usually would've stuttered.
"I was wondering..." he paused and looked around himself at the crowd. "What're you looking at?" Everyone looked a little shocked but quickly returned to what they were doing, the first years that had previously been sitting in front of (Y/N) scurried away and left an open space for Cedric.
(Y/N) bit his lip as his leg started shaking, channeling his energy as he tried to process what was happening. This was not at all how his normal Saturday mornings would have gone.
"I was wondering how you were this morning," Cedric finished, getting himself his own breakfast and making it clear he intended to stay sitting in front of (Y/N).
(Y/N) cleared his throat a bit and gulped, pushing his food around on his plate and having trouble gathering the courage to look up at Cedric.
"Fine," he settled on answering, nodding a bit too fast. "And you?" Short responses were good, just don't stutter in front of him and it'll all be over soon.
"Good, yes, thanks. Man, they really have better morning biscuits over here at Slytherin table, don't they? Or maybe they just improved the food quality because of our guests," Cedric speculated, smiling brightly at (Y/N) before bringing a piece of biscuit up to his mouth.
"I always did like the mixed jam," (Y/N) quietly peeped up, motioning to a nearby jam as a recommendation. Cedric inspected the glass, glanced at (Y/N), then proceeded to smear a glob of it onto a slice of toast. After tasting it he seemed impressed, nodding with a smile.
"That is very good."
"Diggory?"
"Please, call me Cedric." His pearly whites had charmed their way into many other student's hearts, but at the moment the sun hit them just right so that a glint shot right into (Y/N)'s eyes, making him blink a bit.
"What are you doing, t-talking to me?" (Y/N) whispered, looking around and then quickly looking away as Draco Malfoy locked eyes with him, not wanting to be teased later.
"What do you mean?" Cedric asked, taken aback by the abrupt question.
"I- I really don't mean to be rude, but..." (Y/N) licked his lips as his eyes darted around again. "I'm the most boring Slytherin here, not to c-count for the fact that I'm Slytherin, period. What is Cedric Diggory: the 'Golden Boy' of Hogwarts and current Hufflepuff Champion doing talking to me?" (Y/N) explained further, pushing around his food again to occupy his hands and eyes after his bout of talking.
Cedric sighed and looked at (Y/N) with gentle eyes.
"I wanted to spend breakfast with you. I've heard that you're kind-"
"Who told you that?" (Y/N) asked incredulously, looking up at Cedric with creased eyebrows. He hardly talked to anyone long enough for them to tell if he's kind or not.
"Susan Bones," Cedric responded with raised eyebrows.
(Y/N) nodded in understanding- Susan sometimes sat at the edge of the library table across from him, and they occasionally helped each other with homework.
"You just seem very interesting to me, (L/N). I wanted to get to know you better. It seems that Susan is the only one who knows much about you, which isn't much at all." Cedric smiled at (Y/N), trying to gauge his reaction.
"So, what- I mean... I- What exactly do you want me to do?" (Y/N) was still red but grew warmer as he stumbled over his words, making Cedric realized that he thought (Y/N) was absolutely adorable.
"I was wondering if you'd cheer me on for the first task," Cedric admitted, leaning on his elbows on the table.
Looking up in surprise (Y/N) ducked his head again, a small sarcastic smile paint his face.
"I don't cheer," he mumbled, taking a bite of his food that was growing cold.
"You don't cheer?" Cedric questioned, eyebrows creasing unbelievingly.
(Y/N) shook his head hesitantly in response, still not looking Cedric in his eye.
"Well then..." Cedric thought. "How about a token of good luck?" He smirked.
"Token of good luck?" (Y/N) repeated, glancing quickly at his eyes before realizing his mistake and bringing a hand up to rub the back of his neck, placing his fork on his plate and then taking both hands in front of him, fiddling with his fingers.
"Your scarf, for example," Cedric was now whispering, though he knew (Y/N) heard every word. "Or a piece of jewelry. Fabric, a charm, maybe even something physical..." he was teasing but wasn't sure if (Y/N) picked up on it.
He didn't seem to, seeing as Cedric could basically feel the heat from his face from there.
"I have something," he quietly confirmed, thinking of the bracelet he wore on his wrist. Maybe it was silly but he believed it held good luck, meaning he wore it everyday. Not that it worked, but believing didn't hurt.
"Brilliant! You can meet me before the first task and give it to me then, yeah?"
(Y/N) slowly nodded, glancing into Cedric's eyes again. This time he managed to lock them in, staring into (Y/N)'s (E/C) eyes. (Y/N) felt as if he could get lost in the deep brown of Cedric's, the way the sun reflected off of them and how it felt as if there were a million secrets tucked away behind them.
"See you?" Cedric asked faintly, as if in a trance.
"Yes," (Y/N) confirmed with a quick nod, watching Cedric walk away before realizing his classmates were staring again. He ducked his head and focused on his breakfast.
...
"Dragons?" (Y/N) hissed in a moment of hysteria.
Cedric, who found the outburst amusing coming from the quiet Slytherin, smiled and nodded.
"Dragons," he repeated back.
"Are you daft?" (Y/N) burst again before reigning himself in, calming his breathing and looking around.
"See, you are kind. You care about me," Cedric observed.
"I care whether all of you champion's survive. That's not kindness it's just human decency," (Y/N) dismissed. He felt more confident with his words seeing as he and Cedric were the only two in the hallway just before the outside entrance.
"Still," Cedric objected.
"I'm going to be honest..." (Y/N) bit his lip for a second. "I have no idea why you would ask me to give you good luck. I'm possibly the only one in our year without balance or some sort of strong social relation, so it makes no logical sense to me, but here you are anyways." He untied the black leather bracelet with three metal brackets across the top and motioned for Cedric to hold out his arm, which he did.
(Y/N) pushed up his sleeve a bit and put on the bracelet, tying it was concentration to make sure it didn't come off. Cedric, meanwhile, wouldn't take his eyes off of (Y/N)'s face. The way his tongue slightly stuck out, his eyebrows creased. Cedric could look at it forever; (Y/N)'s face.
"I believe it to be good luck, though I'm not sure it is. But... 'Fake it until you make it', is what my American cousin says." (Y/N) shrugged and gave an awkward smile, stepping back and letting his arms fall a bit stiffly to his sides.
"You have an American cousin?" Cedric asked, looking at the bracelet on his wrist.
(Y/N) nodded and looked out at the stadium that was built for the task. He shook his head and mumbled to himself, "Dragons?"
With a smile Cedric stepped closer to (Y/N), catching his attention.
"Can I hug you?"
(Y/N) blinked in surprised but nodded slowly. "Yeah, sure..."
Cedric wrapped his arms around (Y/N), making him slowly return it with stiff arms, patting his back a little.
"Thank you for the good luck," Cedric whispered as he rested his cheek against (Y/N)'s hair.
"Don't die," came his response.
The most surprising part for (Y/N) wasn't the hug, it was the comforting, safe feeling it brought him. (Y/N) didn't get hugged a lot, his parent's not being very physical people and with his lack social life. He quite enjoyed it, at least Cedric's hugs.
...
Cedric was carried into the healer's tent, laid down on the table and tended to by Madame Pomfrey, who was muttering about unnecessary dangers. Just then the flap of the tent opened a bit, (Y/N) appearing there. He was rubbing his hand, looking around with wide, darting eyes until they landed on Cedric.
Walking; well, more like shuffling, (Y/N) made his way over to Cedric and watched Pomfrey apply burn cream to his exposed chest. The fact that his chest was exposed was something (Y/N) was trying to ignore, but clearly failing seeing the heat creeping up his neck. Cedric noticed this and tried to hide his growing smirk.
Once Madame Pomfrey had finished she nodded to (Y/N), who nodded back in thanks, and walked away. (Y/N) got closer to Cedric's bed and looked at him blankly.
"(L/N)-"
"What is wrong you?" (Y/N) interrupted, playing with his low-hanging green and silver scarf tassel's. Cedric looked away, a bit ashamed. "Well, no, less you. More what is wrong with the adults running this." He sighed aggressively and rolled his eyes, sitting down in a nearby chair. "How... are you feeling?"
"Alright. I'd feel better if you were over here." Cedric patted the bed beside him, sticking out his bottom lip teasingly.
(Y/N)'s face turned red again, making (Y/N) shove his face in his hands.
"Stop!" he whined, muffled by his hands.
Cedric laughed and threw his head back a bit. "I'm sorry, Love. It's just so easy and your reactions are priceless," he admitted.
The pet name didn't help (Y/N)'s current state and after threatening to leave and then debating about who would see, (Y/N) climbed in next to Cedric and awkwardly laid there; though Cedric didn't seem to mind.
...
(Y/N) had visited Cedric in the hospital wing a few times until he was well, bringing him some breakfast before classes, but tried to avoid interaction other than that. He didn't want any trouble for interacting with the popular Hufflepuff.
Sighing, (Y/N) sat down in his usual chair, happy for at least a taste of normalcy as he sat in the library. The one thing in his schedule that hadn't changed; afternoons in the library in the hidden corner.
Seeing a glimpse of a yellow and black robe (Y/N) opened his book, expecting Susan to sit in front of him. But it wasn't Susan.
"(L/N)?" Cedric whispered.
Jumping in surprise (Y/N) looked up at Cedric.
"Cedric? I-I mean, Diggory. What're you doing here?"
"Susan said I could take her place today."
"Is she alright? When did you get discharged?"
"She's fine. And I told you you're kind." (Y/N) rolled his eyes in response. "I got discharged just an hour ago."
(Y/N) sighed and assessed the situation, his nerves getting the better of him and making him shuffle around in his chair.
"Well, since you're here you can grab a book and read with me. Only if you want! Of- of course," (Y/N) rushed to say, jumping all around the place verbally.
Smiling with amusement, Cedric pulled a book out of his bag and opened it to the first page.
"(Y/N), you grew up knowing about muggle things, right?" Cedric asked quietly, looking at (Y/N)'s from over his book.
"Uhm... yes. Why?" (Y/N) responded, looking at him in concern.
"This is a muggle book that Susan insisted I read today, but I don't think I understand it very well," he admitted, chuckling nervously.
(Y/N) looked at the cover and lit up, recognizing his favorite book.
"I love that book! I could help... if you'd like?" he hesitantly offered, smiling a bit.
Cedric nodded and moved to the chair closest to (Y/N), scooting even closer and opening the book in front of them both. Cedric pointed to what he didn't understand and (Y/N) started to explain it for him, not really noticing the way Cedric slid his arm around (Y/N)'s chair behind him.
They spent the rest of the afternoon like that; close together and going over the basics of the muggle book.
As they packed up for dinner, Cedric took a deep breath. There was no time like the present.
"(Y/N)?"
"Hmm?" (Y/N) hummed, standing up and looking at Cedric expectantly. It just clicked for (Y/N) that he didn't feel uncomfortable at all, which was an odd experience. Welcome, but odd.
"Would you..." Cedric's breath was shaky as he breath in, messing with his bag strap and shoving a hand in his pocket. Was this his way of being nervous? "Would you like to go to the Yule Ball with me?"
Speechless, (Y/N) stared at Cedric with a dropped jaw. Cedric was sweating bullets, glancing around looking back at (Y/N).
After quite a while of silence (Y/N) spoke up, "Like... like as your date?" His voice was croaky and faint.
"...Yes." He nodded once.
(Y/N) a deep breath, a smile growing on his face. "Yes. Yeah, I-I think I'd like that."
The tension visibly leaked out of Cedric's shoulders, letting out the breath he had been holding.
"Brilliant! That's just- thank you. I'm so excited," Cedric gushed, hugging (Y/N) quickly before saying goodbye and running off.
(Y/N) stood there, smiling after him. Not only did he get a date for the Yule Ball, but it was The Cedric Diggory. How had he tricked Cedric into asking him?
...
Cedric stood outside of the Great Hall with many other students, waiting for their dates. He took another deep breath and messed with the cuffs of the sleeve's of his dress robes. Looking around again he stopped when he saw (Y/N) walk in alone, looking around at all the students.
Raising his hand to catch his attention, Cedric smiled as (Y/N) started walking towards him.
"(Y/N), you look great," he greeted, taking one of (Y/N)'s hands and kissing his knuckles.
"You look wonderful too, Cedric." He looked around at everyone staring at them and realizing two things: 1) he wasn't a fan of PDA and 2) he signed up to dance with the most wanted boy in Hogwarts, in front of Hogwarts.
Nerves shot up (Y/N)'s arms and his heart sped up.
"Are you alright?" Cedric questioned, noticing the quick change in his date.
"Oh, just... just peachy," (Y/N) said, taking yet another page out of his cousin's book.
"What's going on?" Cedric asked again, taking gentle hold of (Y/N)'s arm.
"There's just a lot of people... a lot of people that stare at you. And if they're staring at you, tonight they'll also be staring at me," (Y/N) explained breathily, eyes darting around as he tried to catch his breath.
"Hey, hey, hey," Cedric whispered as he guided (Y/N) out of the crowd and against the wall as Professor McGonagall went around to check on the champions. "Take a minute. Deep breaths, in and out. Just look at me."
Those brown eyes work magic. Or maybe it was the breathing, but (Y/N) soon calmed.
"It's just me and you," he whispered to (Y/N), holding his hands. "When we go out there to dance it's just me and you, okay?"
(Y/N) nodded back, gulping and taking a deep breath.
"Mr. Diggory, Mr. (L/N), are you ready to go in for the first dances?" McGonagall asked as she walked past the two.
"Yes, Professor," Cedric confirmed as (Y/N) nodded, the two walking to the line of champions.
"Hello, Harry, Cho," Cedric greeted, waving to Cho Chang, who went with Harry after not being asked by Cedric.
"Cedric." Harry nodded back, looking you up and down suspiciously. "Who's this?"
"(Y/N) (L/N), my date." Cedric smiled and pulled (Y/N) in a little closer by their linked arms.
"It's great to meet you," (Y/N) said with a quiet voice, smiling softly.
Harry, apparently concluding that this wasn't one of the bad Slytherin's, nodded and smiled back, turning to look forward again.
"We've got this," Cedric mumbled to (Y/N), squeezing his hand before they entered.
(Y/N) knew how to dance, very well, actually. But in private. Cedric was fully taking the lead as (Y/N) was just trying his hardest to not let the shaking in his arms show.
"Remember, just you and me," Cedric mumbled under his breath, staring (Y/N) in the eyes.
It was most definitely the eyes that calmed (Y/N). Looking into them (Y/N) imagined they were dancing alone, music playing in the background- or in the rain, dancing the waltz without a care.
Once the world faded away around them they swept across the dance floor with the other couples, lost in each other's smiles.
People started joining the dance and several other songs followed after, tiring (Y/N) out and making Cedric guide him to the drink table.
"So, how are you feeling?" Cedric asked as he got him a cup, portioning out some of the drink they had and getting himself his own.
"Wonderful, actually." (Y/N) sounded surprised with his own response. Cedric handed him the cup with a smile. "What even is this?"
"...Punch?"
The two laughed and (Y/N) took a sip, shrugging to show it wasn't that bad as the two took a seat.
"You have wonderful eyes, you know," (Y/N) commented, taking a sip of his drink.
"So do you. But I particularly like your facial expressions."
"My facial expressions?"
"Yes, just like that one." He motioned to (Y/N)'s face, making (Y/N) force his face to be blank. "It's not a bad thing," Cedric laughed. "I love watching you express yourself in a way that you don't in public."
"Cedric, can I ask you something?" (Y/N) asked, looking at his cup.
"Anything."
"Why'd you ask me? You could have your choice of any classmate, really, yet you choose me? The one who can barely function?"
Cedric shook his head as if (Y/N) just wasn't understanding.
"Because you're you. O-other classmates aren't like you," he stuttered, trying to find the words. "I can't get the conversations we have- or the feeling I get when I look into your eyes. And sometimes your lack of ability to function is just downright adorable." Cedric looked at (Y/N) while saying this, trying to get through to him.
"Even if I don't do public well?" (Y/N) asked quietly.
"Even if you don't do public well," Cedric confirmed, reaching across the table and taking (Y/N)'s hand.
The snap of a camera light surprised both of the boys, looking over to the source of the distraction.
"Oh, young love!" Rita Skeeter loudly cooed (more like howled). "Cedric Diggory, what can you tell me about this young man who's your date tonight?" Her floating quill stopped right before the paper, waiting for Cedric to say something.
"Nothing. Please leave us be," Cedric spoke strongly, catching Harry and Hermione's attention.
"Ms. Skeeter, have you seen that couple across the room, there?" Hermione called, pointing vaguely across the ballroom. Rita trilled and ran off, trying to find juicier gossip then Cedric and (Y/N).
Hermione and Harry walked up to the two boys.
"Thank you so much," (Y/N) breathed out, putting his face in his hands for a moment.
"Of course, that woman is awful. Are you alright?"
"Yes, thank you. I just don't... public, well." Cedric and (Y/N) shared a look.
"I'm Hermione Granger, I'm not sure we've met before. I'm in Gryffindor." Hermione held out her hand and (Y/N) shook it.
"(Y/N) (L/N), Slytherin," he responded.
"Really? I would've never expected!"
"You'd be surprised," Cedric responded, smirking at (Y/N). "Where are your dates?" he turned to Harry and Hermione.
"Viktor is getting us some drinks," Hermione responded.
"Viktor Krum?" (Y/N) asked with raised eyebrows. After Hermione responded with a smile and nod (Y/N) held out his hand and received a high five.
"Cho's off dancing with some other guy," Harry admitted with a sour look on his face, hands in his pockets.
"The dancing was fun but can get so tiring," Hermione changed the subject, waving at Viktor.
"Would you like to go get a breath of fresh air, (Y/N)?" Cedric asked, standing up and holding his hand out, giving (Y/N) an escape from the crowded room.
"Please," he responded, taking Cedric's hand and standing up with him. "Pleasure to meet you, Granger."
"And you!"
Once they had gotten into the grassy fields outside of the castle (Y/N) sighed and sat down, not worrying about if his dress robes got grass stains.
Cedric laughed quietly and sat down next to him, the two laying down and looking up at the starry sky.
"Thank you," (Y/N) whispered.
"For what?" Cedric asked incredulously.
"For giving me a better Yule Ball then I ever expected to have."
"Well, you know one way you can repay me?" Cedric asked, sitting up, making (Y/N) follow.
"What is that?"
"A kiss, of course." Cedric tilted his head.
Blushing harder than Cedric had seen him do in weeks (Y/N) leaned forward but stopped halfway.
"Come on, I can't do all the work," he whispered urgently, not having the courage to go further.
Cedric quickly swooped in and sealed the kiss, the stars above them twinkling.
...
"Mr. (Y/N) (L/N)," Madame Pince asked, approaching Susan and him at their table.
"Madame Pince?" (Y/N) asked, standing up with his book in his hand.
"Professor Dumbledore is requesting you in his office," came her monotone reply, turning and walking back to her desk.
"What's going on?" Susan asked, shutting her book as well.
"I have no clue," (Y/N) admitted, gathering his things and bidding farewell to Susan.
On his way down the hallway he saw Hermione walking the same way as him.
"Granger?" he called hesitantly.
"(L/N)! Where are you off to?" Hermione looked over and started walking towards him.
"Dumbledore's office, strangely enough," he responded, falling into step with her.
"...So am I," she admitted, a look of confusion settling on her face.
The two shared a concerned glance but walked together the rest of the way anyways.
Ron and Gabriella Delacour stood outside the gargoyle on the wall.
"Ron, Fleur's little sister?" Hermione called out as they approached.
Suddenly the gargoyle shifted along with the wall it was attached to, and a staircase appeared. Ron went up first and everyone else followed behind. It felt like (Y/N)'s stomach was tying knots around itself as he walked in behind the group, standing a bit to the side.
"Professor Dumbledore?" Hermione asked as they entered, wanting more information to what was going on.
"Be calm," is all he said before (Y/N) saw black.
...
It was as if the sun rose all at once when (Y/N)'s head came out of the water, making him gasp for air and cling to the only thing he could comprehend at the moment, which was Cedric.
"Shhh, it's alright. I've got you," Cedric reassured him, one arm around his waist and the other pushing it's way through the water. He quickly reached the doc and some students helped pull you out, Cedric next.
"Cedric Diggory seems to be the first out of the water with Mr. (Y/N) (L/N)!" the announcer roared, the crowd cheering. Cedric didn't even look in their direction as he wrapped a towel around (Y/N), holding his face as he shivered.
"Are you okay?" he asked as he took a towel from someone else, both him and (Y/N) still on their knees in the grass.
Nodding, but never fully, (Y/N) shook in the grass. Cedric sat back against a nearby tree and took (Y/N) in his arms, rubbing up and down his back and arms to warm him.
"Are you?" (Y/N) asked, looking up at Cedric through his lashes.
"I'm... fine. I never want to see you like that again, though," Cedric admitted, brushing back a few pieces of (Y/N)'s wet hair.
"I don't plan on blacking out unwillingly anytime soon," (Y/N) responded, making Cedric laugh. (Y/N) put his head down in the crook of Cedric's neck, falling asleep. Who knew being tied up at the bottom of the lake would be so tiring?
...
"I'm going to win," Cedric said with determination, looking up at his father who nodded with a smile. "But before I go in there, I need to introduce you to someone."
"Oh?"
(Y/N) approached the two after Cedric motioned him over.
"Mr. Diggory? I'm (Y/N) (L/N)." (Y/N) held out a hand for him to shake, which he did.
"Nice, strong grip," Amos complimented, smiling at his son.
"He's my boyfriend," Cedric elaborated, making Amos throw out his arms.
"Well, why didn't you say so?" He wrapped his arms around (Y/N) and suddenly (Y/N) realized where Cedric had gotten his hugging abilities.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, sir."
"None of that 'sir' business, call me Amos. Now I best get on, but I'll see you later. Good luck, son."
"Thanks, dad!"
He walked away, leaving the two alone together. Cedric saw the look on (Y/N)'s face and pulled him into a hug.
"I don't have a good feeling about this, Cedric," he insisted, Cedric's robes clutched in his fingers.
"Don't worry. I'll win!"
"Not about you winning- look, Cedric. I know winning is important to you, but it's okay to lose sometimes. I need you to promise me, you'll stop thinking about winning as the only good outcome of this." (Y/N) looked deeply into Cedric's eyes with a serious stare.
"I- fine. Okay, I promise. Whether I win, or lose, we'll still end up dancing barefoot in your room this summer," Cedric teased, brushing his nose against (Y/N)'s cheek, drawing a giggle out of him.
"You've got the bracelet?" (Y/N) asked, checking his wrist.
"I do, and it's helped all the other times so no doubt it'll work for this task too."
"Don't die. Don't be the hero," (Y/N) whispered, pulling Cedric into a kiss.
"I'll be back," Cedric assured, going back in for a second kiss.
"Champions, line up!"
Cedric pecked (Y/N) one last time and ran off to the other champion's, leaving (Y/N) to walk to the stands. Once he climbed up Hermione waved him over, patting an empty seat beside her.
"Hello, (Y/N)," Hermione greeted with a smile.
"Hermione." (Y/N) nodded briefly before his leg started bouncing, gulping and looking around.
"It's alright to be nervous," Hermione comforted, patting (Y/N)'s shoulder.
...
"They should be out by now, shouldn't they?" Ron asked, looking down as (Y/N) was pacing in front of the maze where they had been told to wait.
(Y/N) shook his head and kept walking, trying to focus on breathing and not Cedric's absence or the crowded stands looking down at them.
Just then Harry and Cedric appeared, both standing up with wide, blank stares. They were panting and covered in dirt, wands shaking in their hands.
The Professors and Dumbledore rushed over, hiding the two from view as people in the stands erupted in cheers, the ones on the ground panicking.
"(Y/N)?!" Cedric shouted as he was dragged away by Professors, leaving a sad looking (Y/N) behind him.
...
A knock came from (Y/N)'s empty dorm. Why was it empty? He didn't really know. He assumed his dormmates, who barely knew his name, had gone off to bunk with the other boys for the night. Everyone needed a bit of comfort after the events of today and the rumors going around.
(Y/N) stood up from his bed, not being able to get any shut eye anyways. His thoughts were preoccupied with a certain champion. Where he'd gone, why the teachers had forced him to go to his dorms instead of wait for Diggory. Opening the door, expecting to see one of the dormmates, shock spread through him when he saw the very boy who occupied his thoughts.
"...Cedric?" (Y/N) whispered with a very concerned look.
Cedric said nothing, just walking forward and taking (Y/N) into his arms and holding him there tightly, like he was Cedric's life source. (Y/N) wrapped his arms around Cedric's shoulders, his hand combing through Cedric's curly locks as he whispered sweet nothings in to his ear.
"Shh, it's okay Cedric," he cooed as Cedric started to cry, shaking in (Y/N)'s arms.
"I listened to you," Cedric squeaked, voice thick with tears. "I heard your voice in my head when that awful portkey landed us in that graveyard. 'Don't be the hero'. I dove to the side before the spell could hit me but I was an inch from death."
(Y/N) led him to the edge of his bed and wiped his tears away with the pads of his thumbs.
"Thank you," (Y/N) whispered, smiling gently at him, trying not to think about the fact that he could have lost the first person who ever meant something to him. "Do you want to stay here tonight?" (Y/N) willed him to say yes, stroking the side of Cedric's head as he looked into his eyes.
Cedric nodded and pulled (Y/N) close again, breathing him in and holding his head to his chest. He was just so glad he was here, with the person he cared for most.
End

I can't say for sure whether this is actually good or not, but... I think it is?
I really hoped this somewhat lived up to your standards, Anon 😅

GLARES AND GRINS
cedric diggory x gn!slytherin!reader blurb
Tumblr media
― since you and your boyfriend are quite literally polar opposites of one another, his fangirls talk about you a lot behind your backs. even if you're midway through one of your rare dates
― fluff
― 0.5k words
― warnings: idk, stereotypical mean girls talking shit? does that count? but yeah, kind of bullying. cussing.
― also, the gender of the reader was never specified in the request itself, so i opted to write this about a gender-neutral y/n
masterlist // the request
Tumblr media
Today's date had been in both yours and Cedric's calendars for weeks now. It'd been too long since you had both spent some time alone together.
The times where you snuck around in the library after hours whilst sharing kisses under the guise of studying potions were lovely. But those moments weren't enough. Both of you wanted to enjoy a proper date for once.
So when the two of you were approaching the Three Broomsticks together, hand-in-hand with matching smiles on your faces, all you felt was joy.
You always found yourself smiling in your boyfriend's presence, no matter how horrible your day had been. It was rare for a person to have this affect on you, but you were glad it was Cedric who had taken your heart.
The pair of you chose the booth that you always did. As you were both given unnecessary menus, you sat back in your chair to let the warmth and familiarity envelop your weary body.
But that was when you heard the snide voices chattering away from a nearby table.
Noticing your sudden freeze-up, Cedric reached a hand under the table to link his fingers through yours, "Are you alright, sweetheart?"
"Yeah, kinda." you hum back.
Cedric soon catches on to what has caused your distress, and he was quick to notice that your walls were suddenly flying back up, leaving nothing but a scowl on your face.
You snapped your head towards the group of bratty girls and turned the glare to them. Unsurprisingly, they were a part of the familiar group of Hufflepuffs who trailed after your boyfriend all the time.
"What the fuck is her problem?" one whispered to the other.
The other scoffed, "Slytherins, I don't know what people see in them. Especially ones like her."
You opened your mouth to give a rude retort, but Cedric squeezed your hand and spoke before you could, "I think you two should mind your own business and leave both of us alone. Y/n happens to be nicer, prettier and funnier than either of you could ever be."
That quickly shut the two girls up - but you couldn't find any words either.
Within moments, the pair of girls mumbled what could've been an apology and left the building as quickly as they could.
"Love, are you okay?" Cedric asked tentatively.
You hesitated for a moment, going through Ced's kind words over and over again in your head. Instantly your mood had soared up and you were feeling so much better now that those invasive girls had vanished.
"Yes!" you reply simply and cheerfully, beaming at the brunette in a stark contrast to your glare from earlier, "That was really sweet of you."
Cedric breathed a sigh of relief and sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, "I was barely scratching the surface of your magnificence."
You pull his hand towards you and oress a gentle kiss to his knuckles (something that he liked to do to you), "You're too good to me Ced."

CHAPTER NINE — 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬
paring; various x fem!reader
words; 2.9k
series list
note; this chapter is very short so i apologize if that's not what you prefer but it's what i'm doing. i wanted to rewrite this chapter but I'm too exhausted, i feel like my heart's only in this 30% of the time and that's when i write. i can't promise that these next final chapters will be good, but i can promise that i will finish this fic.
-
After making sure Cedric is okay, at least as okay as he can be, you inconspicuously flounder out of the tent to bump right into Harry and Ron, who are too distracted by Harry's success to ask where you came from.
Your heart feels lighter as you watch Harry and Ron interact, happy that they're friends again.
-
In the evening you find yourself joining Harry, Hermione, and Ron to a trip to the Owlery, you assume to deliver a letter to update Sirius on the current events. Harry tells Ron what Siruis had told the two of you during your 'meeting' about Karkaroff.
"Fits, doesn't it?" Ron says as you all enter the Owlery. "Remember what Malfoy said on the train, about his dad being friends with Karkaroff? Now we know where they knew each other. They were probably running around in masks together at the World Cup..." You flinch at the remembrance of the World Cup.
"...I'll tell you one thing, though, Harry, if it was Karkaroff who put your name in the goblet, he's going to be feeling really stupid now, isn't he? Didn't work, did it? You only got a scratch!"
You grimace slightly, if only Cedric had been as fortunate.
"Come here — I'll do it —" Pigwidgeon was excitedly flying around Harry's head and Ron grabbed Pigwidgeon by the foot, holding him in his arms as Harry carefully attached his letter to Pigwidgeon's foot.
Ron continued as Harry finished and he walked to the window. "There's no way any of the other tasks are going to be that dangerous, how could they be?"
You felt a sense of dread wash over you, you predicted the complete opposite, since when do challenges in games get easier as you go?
"You know what? I reckon you could win this tournament, Harry, I'm serious— no offense Y/n, I know you're rooting for Diggory," You roll your eyes at his comment but Hermione smiles and you can't bring yourself to feel any sort of contempt towards his light handed jab.
Harry frowns slightly but corrects his expression so Ron doesn't take notice. Hermione's face is serious now as she speaks with her arms filed across her chest, "Harry's got a long way to go before he finishes this tournament, if that was the  first task, I hate to think what's coming next."
"Right little ray of sunshine, aren't you?" Ron says his eyebrows furrowed slightly with Pigwidgeon still in his hands. "You and Professor Trelawney should get together sometime."
You crack a smile even though hearing your almost exact thoughts out loud had tripled your anxiety.
He threw Pigwidgeon out of the window, a brief moment of panic seizing you before the owl pulls himself up. You watch until he fades into the dark sky.
"Well, we'd better downstairs for your surprise party, Harry —Fred and George should have nicked enough food from the kitchens by now."
-
To say the Gryffindor common room was overwhelming would be an understatement. It all seemed to go off at Harry's arrival and unfortunately for you, your's as well as you stand by his side in momentary confusion.
You try to take in everything at once, the gangle of people, the food and drinks hoarding every surface in the room, the fireworks, and a banner of what you assume is Harry flying around the Horntail on his broom.
You hold back a snort at the ones with Cedric, who's auburn hair is on fire.
You go to join Ron and Hermione who sit down at a table but some of your adrenaline from the day is starting to wane and your stomach begs for even a crumb of food.
You pick up some food with Harry, sharing a small smile that makes his heart miss a beat before you both sit by your friends.
"Blimey. this is heavy!" Lee Jordan picks up Harry's golden egg with some struggle, empathizing his point.
"Open it Harry, go on! Let's just see whats see whats inside it!" Lee encourages Harry eagerly, gesturing the egg towards him.
Hermione frowns and you look down to your half eaten food, biting your lip to stop your growing smile.
"He's so supposed to work out the clue on his own," Hermione remarks haughtily. "It's the tournament rules..."
"I was supposed to work out how to get past the dragon on my own too," Harry says in a voice low enough that only you and Hermione can hear him.
You can see Hermione's guilty grin out the corner of your eye but you wear a tiny smirk, hey—you weren't the hypocrite here.
"Yeah, go on Harry, open it!" Several people cheered, Hermione's efforts in vain. It's not like they were helping, they were fulled by their own personal curiosity of what was inside the giant egg?
Lee passes Harry the egg and you watch on the edge of your seat with a breath of anticipation stuck in your throat as Harry follows the groove that circles around the egg before he pries it open with his fingernails.
From your seat right next to him you could see that it was empty and just as confusion began to overtake you, it was quickly thrown out the window as a loud screechy wail burst from the egg in Harry's grasp.
You squeeze your eyes shut as your hands automatically clasp your ears, curling into yourself. The effort is fruitless as the horrid noise can still be heard. Someone yells to shut it and quickly Harry obeys, looking down at the egg with confusion then slowly back up at you, you who has slowly removed your hands— your eyes had flung open as soon as he shut the bloody thing, as your peers already began to speculate what the noise meant.
"Sounded like a banshee... Maybe you've got to get past one of those next Harry!" Seamus says a little too excitedly for your taste and you frown, your eyes darting between who ever speaks and the egg still in Harry's grasp.
"It was someone being tortured!" Neville cried, his face ashen. Your eyebrows knitted together at the sausage rolls sprawled around his feet, he must have dropped them in fright. "You're going to have to fight the Cruciatus Curse!"
"Don't be a prat Neville, that's illegal," George says with his arms crossed, a disproving glare crossing his features. "They wouldn't use the Cruciatus Curse on the champions. I thought it sounded a bit like Percy singing...maybe you've got to attack him while he's in the shower Harry."
You laugh quietly into your palm, your head drooped down, at his remark, Percy's singing had been your unlikely alarm before. George side eyes you with a smirk, knowing you're completely helpless to tell him off.
"Want a jam tart, Hermione?" Fred offers to a rightfully suspicious Hermione. You raise your eyebrows at George silently asking if the tarts were trick free.
He shakes his head just as Fred confirms, "I haven't done anything to them, it's the custard creams you've got to watch—"
Neville spits out something, a custard cream you suppose from his panicked expression.
You shake your head with a small grin, the twins were always highly entertaining. Speaking of Weasleys you wondered where Ginny was. Before you could search for her, your ears had already unintentionally checked back into the conversation.
Hermione had a tart in her hand and you grabbed one as well, narrowing your eyes at Fred's smile before taking a small bite.
"...get all this from the kitchens, Fred?" Fred's eyes averted from you to her, his smile only growing.
His voice is squeaky and high pitched, "'Anything we can get you, sir, anything at all!' They're dead helpful...get me a roast ox if I said I was peckish." You roll your eyes at his impression, surprised Hermione isn't shouting at him.
Instead she asks him, "How do you get in there?".
"Easy, concealed door behind a painting of a bowl of fruit. Just tickle the pear, and it giggles and—" Fred stops suddenly, a glint of hesitation in his eye. "Why?"
"Nothing." Hermione says quickly, her voice just as squeaky as Fred's impression.
"Going to try and lead the house-elves out on strike now, are you?" George probed, leaning forward slightly. " Going to give up all the leaflet stuff and try and stir them up in rebellion?"
People around you snickered and Hermione didn't give them an answer. You leaned back in your chair, arms crossed over your chest, an unamused glare pointed directly at the twins.
"Don't you go upsetting them and telling them they've got to take clothes and salaries!" Fred cries, a hint of a warning in his voice. "You'll put them off their cooking!"
Suddenly there's a squeak and you turn your head just in time to see Neville disappear, a large canary left in his wake. You clasped a rather guilty hand over mouth but your laughter was drowned out from the peels that escaped almost everyone in the room.
"Oh— sorry Neville!" Fred shouted, not looking very sorry at all. "Forgot— it was the custard creams we hexed—"
Soon Neville was back to normal, apart from the feathers and Fred and George were already promoting the damned things.
You left the celebration early, guilt pooling in your stomach at Harry, Hermione, and Ron's disappointed faces but you couldn't spend the night there so you started your reluctant journey to your bed.
...
You couldn't stop the doubt that settled in your head and without your permission made themselves home in the darkest corners on it, after all, maybe Cedric made a mistake?
You were both so busy you rarely saw each other, adding to your insecurities was that you rarely crossed paths in public. What if he didn't want to be seen with you? What if he wasn't serious? The mental taunts were exhausting, and you knew something had to change before you gave out.
As you stalked the corridors, already dreading your next class, someone quickly pulled you into a small hallway off from the main one you were just traversing. Your eyes widen and you struggle in their grasp— "Whoa, love, it's just me."
All fight left your body as your eyes adjusted and you looked up into Cedric's pretty grey eyes, peering down at you, having the audacity to look concerned when he just scared the crap out of you. You huffed as your hands hung limply at your side, Cedric laughing lightly now that he knew you were fine.
You crossed your arms, your eyes softening when he stepped closer to you, pulling you into his embrace and leaving you no choice but to accept it, wrapping your arms around his waist.
"Merlin Ced, you scared the bloody hell out of me!" You said into his chest, feeling the vibrations of his warm infectious laugh against your cheek.
You look up at him, watching the way his eyes crinkle at the corners as sincerity oozes from his every pore, "I'm sorry love, I really am, I didn't mean to startle you."
"It’s alright, I suppose," You mumble sheepishly towards the floor and he smiles.
The feelings of happiness began to fade and your doubts and insecurities started to rise to the surface. You hadn't realized your gaze was stuck on the floor with a frown etching it's way onto your face until he spoke.
He lifted your chin with his hand, looking, more like searching your eyes for something. His brows creased and his eyes were filled with a sudden sadness that made your stomach sink.
"What's wrong?" You avert your eyes, finding the floor to be highly compelling. But you can't escape his eyes, his gaze burning into your face.
You take a step back, his hand falling limply at his side as you hug yourself, finding yourself feeling self-conscious under his unwavering gaze of sympathy. "It's nothing, it's silly at best..." You say, your words not even convincing to you.
Cedric is unfortunately undeterred from your poor attempt at an excuse, he almost looks like he's pouting at you when you sneak a glance in his direction, ducking your head to hide your small smile.
He takes a hesitant step towards, testing to see if he's overstepping his boundaries. You don't move so he takes another step, then another until you can feel the faint exhale of his breath on your face.
"I just feel like, I don't know how to put it into words," You confess honestly, peering up into his eyes as your hands twist anxiously.
He frowns, "Are you...sacred? Ashamed?" You frantically shake your head. "No no, nothing like that I— I really fancy spending time with you and calling you my boyfriend."
He smiles and a giant blush spreads over his face from both ears. The sight gives you some sort of confidence, your insecurities starting to feel silly, like you said before.
"I just, what if one day you decide you can do way better then me? Or the more you get to know me you start to find me irritating?" Your hands gesture the entire time you speak, eventually falling at your side when you no longer have anything to say.
Cedric's eyebrows furrow and there's a crease on his forehead that you would have found endearing if not the certain circumstances.
"I fancy you too Y/n, I enjoy every second spent in your company, you're too good for me." He says with a shake of his head.
He gently grabs your hands, "I can tell you how much you mean to me for the next fifteen minutes but I don't think that's what you fancy."
You laugh and shake his head and he watches you in amusement. "It would be rather nice..." You joke and he laughs, a full head tipped back sort of laugh that makes your stomach curl.
"Maybe if we spent more time together? Not all the time of course—" You say hurriedly and he laughs again.
"Whatever you say love," You roll your eyes but continue with a small grin. "Little things y'know? Like walking me to class and spending time with you and your friends, stuff like that."
He nods in understanding and you can tell he's taking your words to heart. Now you're convinced he's too good for you.
But you're okay with that.
Especially when he leans down and kisses you so tenderly and yet with so much passion that your skin feels hot as if you're on fire.
...
December was as cruel and unforgiving as each year before. Doubts of your relationship with Cedric faded into dust, carried away by the cold winds and off into the sea.
You had met his friends who welcomed you with open arms, always giving you a friendly wave in the halls. And best of all, Cedric walking you to also every class, holding your hand and your books in his other.
News of the Yule Ball spread like wildfire, reaching you on a measly Monday, right after classes you were free to dump your books on your desk, slip out of your shoes, and belly flop dramatically on your bed with sigh muffled by your mattress.
You enjoyed a good ten seconds of bliss before the door lurched opened then shut with such ferocity you lifted your head in a bit of panic.
"Y/n Avery!" Tina shouted, well more like a blur of energy that happened to share her voice, launching herself onto the spot right next to you.
You laid back down, rolling your eyes with a small smile at her antics. But Tina did not share your lack of enthusiasm and quickly recovered from her fall, her next mission: getting you to talk.
"Did you hear? Did you hear?!" Her big brown eyes and never ending energy strangely reminding you of a puppy.
You quirk a brow, shifting sideways to face her, propping yourself up with your arm. "Hear about what?" You ask exasperatedly, she ruined your down time but for Tina to be this excited...you were naturally curious.
She stared at you blankly, she was not impressed. She huffed and gave in, "Hello, there's a ball happening?! A ball! This is so exciting!" You watched her squeal with faint amusement.
"Well... I thought you'd be more excited, I mean you get to go with Cedric..." She said almost shyly.
You gasped, it's not like your relationship was secret, he walked you to class everyday and you could not miss the glares thrown your way by song of the younger girls, but you didn't except her to be so bold.
You gaped, "You don't know that, besides it was just announced and he hasn't asked me..." You trail off sadly, picking at your bedsheet with little interest.
Tina grasps your hand, a pout on her face, merlin were her pouts your weakness, "I didn't mean it like that, he would be a real wanker not to."
You giggled and she smiled as well, a tentative one that barely showed her teeth. You decide to not put much thought into it, you're almost positive Cedric will ask you, and you've decided you're only moving forward— no more doubts.
"I suppose someone's all ready asked you?" To your surprise she casts her eyes downwards, a flush covering her ears that is barely noticeable.
You smile genuinely, your friend was nervous over her date, for once not boasting to either you or Angie about them.
"I'm happy for you, really." She looks up and smiles mumbling a small thanks.
You bite your lip, weighing your options. You risk it, you just have to know who has the power to make Tina shy.
You lean into her, smirking as you realize how your roles have been reversed.
"So, who is it?"

⋆ ˚⁀➷ ₊˚⊹⋆ all yours - c.d
pairing. cedric diggory x fem!reader.
warnings. dark themes, smut, degrading names, dom/sub characters, oral, yandere themes, stalking, toxic behavior.
summary. just a blurb, fwb!cedric gets jealous watching you spend time fred, ending in a punishment, making you his.
a/n. little blurb ^_^ ignore how bad my yandere writing is.
Tumblr media
Cedric believed the best way to approach being more than friends who fool- or approach an actual relationship with the girl he liked, was by keeping you as far away from Fred as he possibly could.
Now, as you lay across your bed, cedric grasping your thighs around his head, you knew exactly how you ended up here.
No one could argue that you spent as much time with Fred as you did Cedric, the only difference between them was that Cedric craved you more. After cedric noticed you taking an interest in Fred yet still fooling around with him-- he noticed something needed to change.
Thats why you're here- on cedric's tongue, screaming his name constantly almost every second.
He tightened your legs around his neck, grasping the soft skin around your thighs softly but firmly. His tongue continued nibbling at your wet cunt, dark eyes constantly looking up at your flushed, tired out face.
The day had started with him dragging you back to his dorm, establishing you weren't allowed to see Fred anymore- only him. He'd had a dirty dream the night before, after seeing how much of a desperate slut you could be for fred, he couldn't resist.
You weren't allowed to stop until cedric couldn't take it anymore. One of his favorite things in the world was your pussy, so the question was would he every really stop?
You'd already came on his tongue twice. The first one he made you ride his face, your wetness immediately gushing down his face by his fast tongue. The second, now he was painfully teasing you by dragging his tongue across your wet folds, praising you as he tastes every inch of you.
"Mm, you jus' taste so good sweetheart", he groaned, licking your juices around his lips.
"Ced- please..", you whined, voice barely stable, "Please just let me come, baby".
"Mhm, wrong, not yet", he grinned at you, smiling softly against your clit. "should've been good then baby, huh?" he cooed, inserting a finger inside you.
" 'M sorry please, please ced!"
"Mhmm i know baby, can't help but wanna see you spill all over again."
Moments after he nods allowing you to finally let go. Tears of pleasure began flowing down your face, a tight knot begging to form pressure in your stomach.
" I jus' want you all to myself baby', he whispered.
"I know I know, all yours only yours", you nodded.

Most Crushed on Male Harry Potter Characters: A Study (Version 1)
I was wondering what male characters from Harry Potter (including Hogwarts Legacy and Fantastic Beasts) are the most crushed on. When I couldn’t find anything online that answered my question, I decided to take it into my own hands and research it for myself. I looked at reader-insert fanfics and thirst trap videos on 4 websites (AO3, Tumblr, Wattpad, and TikTok) since I think it’s the most effective way of seeing how many people want to be the focus of a Harry Potter boy’s affection. Here are the results as of August 6, 2023!
Note: I researched other characters (ex. Matteo Riddle, Charlie Weasley) that weren’t listed here, but some of them didn’t make the cut on any website. I’ve also never seen Fantastic Beasts or played/watched videos of Hogwarts Legacy, so it’s possible that I missed loved characters from those parts of the Harry Potter universe.
The second version of this study is now out! You can find it here!
Tumblr media
*GIF isn't mine
AO3
What I did: I researched how many works are under “(male character)/reader” and “(male character)/you.” The number of works under these tags differed, so the number in parentheses is the higher number of works between those 2 tags. I only counted pairings with at least 300 works.
Results:
Draco Malfoy (1,414 works)
Severus Snape (1,013 works)
Sirius Black (890 works)
Remus Lupin (817 works)
Sebastian Sallow (710 works)
Fred Weasley (698 works)
George Weasley (627 works)
Harry Potter (401 works)
James Potter (332 works)
Newt Scamander (326 works)
Tom Riddle/Voldemort (316 works)
Ominis Gaunt (310 works)
Potential problems: I think the AO3 results are the most accurate since for the most part, all reader-insert works are under only 1 name of the character, not something like “Snape/reader” and then “Severus Snape/reader.” However, I did notice that there were sometimes works with 2 characters where 1 character had a relationship with the character, while the other character was in a loveless arranged marriage or some sort of non-con relationship that the author didn’t mean to romanticize.
TUMBLR
What I did: I researched “(male character) x reader,” “(male character) x you,” and “(male character) x y/n.” The number of followers under these tags sometimes differed, so I recorded the highest number of followers between the 3 tags. I only counted characters that had a reader-insert tag with at least 2k followers. Some characters are tied because Tumblr only shows followers in thousands, not the specific number.
Results:
Draco Malfoy (13k followers)
Sirius Black and Remus Lupin (11k followers)
Fred Weasley and James Potter (8k followers)
Newt Scamander and George Weasley (6k followers)
Regulus Black and Tom Riddle (5k followers)
Cedric Diggory and Severus Snape (4k followers)
Theodore Nott and Sebastian Sallow (3k followers)
Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, and Ominis Gaunt (2k followers)
Potential problems: Because Tumblr doesn’t have a set tag for reader-insert works, I had to look up characters under multiple names, like “Remus Lupin x reader” and “Lupin x reader.” I had to exclude Harry’s tags because a lot of the works under those tags were mixed with reader-inserts or other characters. Also, there are probably some thirst photos/GIFs on Tumblr for male characters that aren’t tagged as a reader-insert.
WATTPAD
What I did: I researched “(male character) x reader,” (male character) x you, and (male character) x y/n. The number of results under these tags sometimes differed, so I recorded the highest number of results between the 3 tags. I only counted characters that had a reader-insert tag with at least 10k results. Some characters are tied because Wattpad doesn’t show the exact number of results.
Results:
Draco Malfoy (68.5k results)
Neville Longbottom (53.4k results)
Newt Scamander (50.9k results)
Cedric Diggory (49.3k results)
Ominis Gaunt (37.5k results)
Ron Weasley (26.3k results)
Remus Lupin (19.4k results)
Sirius Black and James Potter (18.9k results)
Severus Snape (18.4k results)
Fred Weasley (15.9k results)
George Weasley (12.8k results)
Theodore Nott (11k results)
Tom Riddle (10.7k results)
Potential problems: I don’t think these results are very accurate. Because Tumblr doesn’t have a set tag for reader-insert works, I had to look up characters under multiple names, like Remus Lupin x reader and Lupin x reader. I had to exclude Harry again because his results pulled up results for other characters. Similarly, searches for other characters pulled up reader-insert stories written only for a different character.
TIKTOK
What I did: I looked up “(male character) thirst” on TikTok and filtered the results to show videos in order of highest number of likes to least number of likes. The first video wasn’t necessarily a thirst video of that character, so I had to manually search for the thirst video with the highest number of likes. I only recorded characters where their thirst video with the highest number of likes had at least 10k likes. Some are tied because the same video covered multiple characters.
Results:
Harry Potter (3m likes)
Newt Scamander (447.6k likes)
Neville Longbottom (295.4k likes)
Dean Thomas (206.9k likes)
Cedric Diggory (131.6k likes)
Fred, Ron, George, and Bill Weasley (123.8k likes)
Draco Malfoy (91.6k likes)
Severus Snape (57.5k likes)
Remus Lupin (21.4k likes )
Lucius Malfoy (21k likes)
Sirius Black and James Potter (17.6k likes)
Potential problems: There were so many problems with finding videos on TikTok that romanticized the character, so I would take the TikTok results with a grain of salt. It was really frustrating to research on TikTok LMAO. I originally just looked up videos with the name of the character, but it took forever to find a thirst video and it was sometimes difficult to tell if it was an actual thirst. For example, there were some edits of Snape that showed him as a kid and a grown-up and it wasn’t clear if the creator was romanticizing him. For this reason, I know that the rankings I listed are most likely inaccurate because there are definitely thirst videos of characters that weren’t labeled as thirst videos. Also, for the results I gave for Harry, I looked up “Harry Potter thirst” and chose the video that @miwallbank duetted and had the most likes.
COMBINING THE NUMBERS
For accuracy reasons, I left out the numbers of results from TikTok because I think that my research was inaccurate for the most part.
Draco Malfoy (approximately 82,914 admirers)
Newt Scamander (approximately 57,226 admirers)
Neville Longbottom (approximately 55,400 admirers)
Cedric Diggory (approximately 53,300 admirers)
Ominis Gaunt (approximately 39,810 admirers)
Remus Lupin (approximately 31,217 admirers)
Sirius Black (approximately 30,790 admirers)
Ron Weasley (approximately 28,300 admirers)
James Potter (approximately 27,232 admirers)
Fred Weasley (approximately 24,598 admirers)
Severus Snape (approximately 23,413 admirers)
George Weasley (approximately 19,427 admirers)
Theodore Nott (approximately 14,000 admirers)
Tom Riddle (approximately 5,316 admirers)
Regulus Black (approximately 5,000 admirers)
Sebastian Sallow (approximately 3,710 admirers)
Do I think these final results are accurate? Most likely not, so take the final results with a grain of salt. Also, these results aren’t necessarily indicative of how much a character is crushed on since there are probably plenty of people who don’t write fanfiction or follow tags on their loved character. I might do this again, but this is what I have for now. Thanks for reading!

Note
Can you write a smut story with cedric where the reader is shy, introvert and not very bold (the complete opposite personality of the reader from your other cedric story) and cedric is a gentlemanly soft dom?
I'm going through a edric obsession rn and I read your other story. It was really good and well written, but I'm nothing like the reader in it, so I couldn't relate to it 🥲.

Cedric Diggory x Muggle!reader
Summary: Cedric notices a new girl in town.
Hi sorry this is so late I started this story shortly after receiving the request in my inbox but then I kept having to rewrite and re-edit every time because I wasn’t happy with how my story was turning out, but I’m finally done!
I thought it’d be interesting to write a fanfic about Cedric with a Muggle!reader since I’ve never read any before
Warnings: NSFW, smut, oral sex, nipple play, pet names, shy!reader, might contain typos, p in v sex, all characters are of age, 18+ only!

After telling his parents his plans for the day, Cedric headed out to the same familiar coffee shop in town he’d gone to since before he could remember. He expected nothing but the same tables, chairs, customers, and workers when he walked into the cafe. What he wasn’t expecting was a new employee, you.
He could see you wiping the counter, too focused on your task to notice him until he said hello. You let out a gasp. Apparently, you were one to get startled easily. You had on a black Henley top paired with matching black leggings, and your hair was in a bun that was as big as the cinnamon rolls in the pastry case with some hair left framing your blushing face.
“H-Hi, how can I help you?” Cedric thought that little tremble in your voice complemented so well with this adorable shyness you were displaying.
“I’ll take a latte and a slice of peach pie. For here.” He said, sounding cool and confident.
After you rang up his order, he took a seat not far from the counter. It was a small cafe, with enough room for only about five tables to be lined up. With there being no other customers inside, he was able to savor the silence that was occasionally broken by the sounds you made with your footsteps as you worked behind the counter.
As you brought out his food and drink, you gave him what looked to be a half smile, but it wasn’t a type of rude or lazy half-smile. It was more of a customer service smile that you weren’t trying to overdo.
“Here you go sir,” you set the plate and cup down, careful not to mess up the heart that was crafted onto the latte. Cedric thought that you did a lovely job on it, and he wanted to let you know.
“Thank you. It’s a lovely heart by the way.” He smiled.
“Oh, I’ve only just started working here a few weeks ago.” You fidgeted with your sleeves and the hem of your little apron around your waist.
“You must be new in town.” He guessed, more like stated.
“How did you know?”
“I’ve lived here my whole life. I don’t meet new people everyday.” He said. “My name’s Cedric, what’s yours?”
As quickly as you looked into his eyes and told him your name, your eyes went back to where they were looking at originally.
“Thanks again,” He tried making eye contact with you to ease you up, but it apparently had the opposite effect as you kept looking down and nodded before retreating to the counter.
Cedric was used to girls at school throwing themselves at him and following him around like a lost puppy. Now it was his turn to be the lost puppy.
Cedric told himself that he wasn’t technically stalking you since he liked to go to that particular cafe since before you started working there. It was his little routine during the summer holidays for him to sometimes walk over there and get breakfast. It also happened that he noticed that you were there almost every weekday for the opening shift.
It caught him by surprise when he was taking a late afternoon walk around town and he saw you coming out of the cafe after it was scheduled to close. You huffed as your purse fell from your shoulder. Before you could bend down to pick it up, Cedric had it in his hand, ready to hand it over to you.
“Thank you.” You said as your eyes met his. “It’s Cedric, right?”
“Yeah, you remembered my name.” He let the corners of his eyes crinkle in its own way of smiling. “You just got done closing?” He asked, pointing to the sign that said “closed” just because he loved to awkwardly point out the obvious in front of a pretty girl.
“I had to cover for someone today. Normally, I work the opening shift.” You were still holding onto that habit of occasionally looking down while in his presence.
“I see.” He nodded. He had to come up with another question to keep you talking. “How do you like it here?”
“It’s nice and quiet. Although I’ve seen some strange families around here.” Strange families? He knew exactly which strange families you were referring to because he was a part of one of them.
“Not that there’s anything wrong with people who are different. They’re what makes this town unique.” You said quickly, as if you were worried you insulted his hometown.
“Yeah, I pretty much grew up with this entire town, I know what you mean.” Cedric said. He then reminded himself that he got so distracted by talking to you that he forgot that you had to get home. “Sorry if I’m holding you up. It was nice talking to you. I’m sure you have to get home.”
“It’s okay. I was actually going to the park.”
“Me too.” No he wasn’t. “Maybe we can go there together?”
“Really? I wouldn’t want to impose.” You looked down at your worn out shoes.
On the short walk to the park, you and Cedric talked and got to know each other. He told you all about his life except for the part about him being a wizard and how he used to attend a magical boarding school while you told him about how you and your parents moved here from a big city after you had finished school.
As the first sign of sundown became visible, you and Cedric said your goodbyes to each other, but before you could leave, he asked you, “Would you like to go out with me sometime this week? Like on a date?” He assumed from your conversation with him that you had no current boyfriend, so the chances of you saying yes were increased. Unless, he was wrong and some other guy had asked you out already which he would feel down about if it were true.
“Are you sure you want to go out with me?” You started fidgeting with your sleeves, blushing.
“Absolutely.” He brushed a strand of hair out of your face, making you look up at him. He wanted to melt as soon as you made eye contact with him, showing the sparkle in your eyes.
“What time do you get off work?” Cedric asked.
“At one.” You said.
“Perfect. I’ll meet you there tomorrow.” He cupped your cheek in his large hand and placed a light kiss there.
As he was laying in bed, Cedric looked out at the dark ceiling above him. The last thing he remembered before closing his eyes was that he was thinking about your beautiful smile and how couldn’t wait to see it again.
A couple months had passed in his new relationship and Cedric dreaded having to be subjected to his parents’ questioning about how he was going to tell you he was a wizard, or if he’d already told you which was why he didn’t bother telling them he was seeing someone. He knew when the time was right, he’d tell you everything you needed to know about him. You had given him no reason to feel as if you’d judge him no matter what. He was lucky you weren’t one of those nosey girls to pester him about meeting his family or ask of any secrets he might be hiding.
The day did come when he felt ready to tell his parents that he was seeing a Muggle. Of course they knew he was seeing someone. It’s a parent’s job to know everything about their kids, so it was inevitable that they’d want to meet you.
It was on one of your days off that Cedric invited you to lunch in his home with his parents.
He had warned you his parents were a bit unusual themselves, but you assured him not to worry. What he didn’t tell you was that they were the way they were because they were wizards who weren’t very knowledgeable about Muggles.
As soon as you hopped off your bike in front of Cedric’s house, you noticed the lack of cars in the driveway, something you weren’t used to seeing in front of other homes, but you brushed it off.
You were happy meeting his parents was without a hitch. Mr. and Mrs. Diggory told you what a delight you were to have around as well as saying you seemed like the right girl for Cedric.
After his parents left to go attend to magical business (not that you needed to know what it was) Cedric was alone with you in his bedroom.
“What’s this, Cedric?” You asked as you pointed to a Mooncalf plushie he forgot to hide in his closet. His eyes widened even more than the plushie’s as realization sunk into him.
“It’s… just something I drew as a kid and my parents made it into a toy.” He came up with that excuse.
“It’s so adorable! I love how big its eyes are! Can I hold it please?” You begged. He didn’t see any harm in it. It wasn’t like you stumbled upon the real thing.
Once he nodded in approval, your smile widened as you grabbed the toy off the bookshelf and wrapped your arms around it.
“Aww, I wish this was a real animal, don’t you?” Cedric thought you looked adorable when you were mesmerized like you were at that moment.
Of course they’re real. They’re magical creatures called Mooncalves. He wanted to tell you.
“But you’re real. And way cuter than that thing.” He took the plushie out of your hands as he placed it back into its proper place before stepping forward and encircling his hands around your waist. You blushed at the close proximity of your faces before the both of you felt your lips being pulled to each other’s.
As you continued making out with Cedric, you started to feel a dull ache between your thighs that only got stronger.
It was only when he heard a soft moan come out of your mouth that he pulled away and looked at your flushed face.
“Do you want to take this further?” He asked, searching all over your face for any sign of discomfort. It wasn’t that you were uncomfortable, you were shy and unsure of how to proceed with what was going on, but you still felt like you could trust Cedric.
After giving him consent by nodding your head, he led you to his bed where your back hit the soft mattress. A tiny whimper escaped you as you felt what you assumed was his erection bumping against your clit through the thin cotton of your shorts, sending a powerful, tingling sensation throughout your body.
“Does that feel good, Sweetheart?” Cedric’s deep voice brought you back from your pleasure-induced mini-trance. “I can give you more.”
“O-Okay.” Your response came out as a choked out whisper. Cedric was a patient person. He took his time admiring how sweet you looked as he slid each piece of clothing off your body until he unhooked your bra, which made you instinctively cover yourself.
“Don’t hide yourself from me, please.” His voice sounded like a gentle plea as he pried your arms off your chest. “You’re beautiful. I want to give them the love they deserve.” He cupped his large hand around one of your breasts, giving it a light squeeze.
You let your eyelids close as he continued massaging both of your breasts, giving them equal attention until you felt something warm and wet around one of your hardened nipples. The sensation of your nipple being sucked on felt too good for you to keep quiet.
The sweet little noises coming out of your pretty mouth did nothing to soothe the painful erection restricted in Cedric’s clothes. He needed more, and he could sense you did too.
With a plop, his mouth left your nipple, and you opened your eyes, a noise between a breathless sigh and a moan leaving you.
“How about I take off my clothes? Would that make you feel better?” Cedric asked as he ran the back of his pointer finger over your heated cheek. You nodded.
How could he say no to your cute face with your lips pouted looking like you were ready to suck on his cock?
You watched him like he was the most exciting thing in the world as he stripped off his T-shirt and jeans, revealing his muscles. He gave you a brief smile before hooking his fingers beneath the band of his underwear and pulling them down.
You couldn’t stop yourself from gasping, your eyes going wider than they’d ever been, making Cedric smirk at the effect he had on you.
He intertwined his fingers through your hair as he used his other hand to guide your face upwards until you were in a kneeling position with his dick in front of your face, less than an inch away from your lips.
“Come on, Sweetheart, let me see those pretty lips suck me off.” You let another soft gasp escape you as he put his thumb on your bottom lip slowly prying your mouth open.
He couldn’t comprehend how he so badly wanted to just lose it right there and shove his dick straight into your warm mouth and feel your throat closing and gagging around him. That wasn’t going to happen now because he reminded himself that he had to be patient with you and let you adjust and get comfortable, something he was also willing to do, reveling in your innocence and shyness.
“That’s it, good girl.” He praised you as you reached out with your tongue to lick the tip before wrapping your lips around it completely. “Just like that. You can go deeper if you’re ready.”
The feeling of having a cock inside your mouth was completely new to you, but it wasn’t unpleasant. You took a few experimental licks before deciding you enjoyed how the round tip felt on your tongue. You were curious and excited to find out how the rest of him would feel, so you wasted no time in running your tongue along the entire length, eliciting a deep groan from him.
“Was that good?” Your voice squeaked out, the loud plop of your lips disconnecting from him bringing him out of his thoughts.
“It was perfect.” Even though he didn’t get to cum, Cedric told himself it was okay. Maybe next time. He had already made up his mind about wanting to do this with you again.
“Why don’t I take a turn and make you feel good this time?” He ran his fingers through your hair before letting them trail along your neck before pushing you back towards the pillow you previously propped up against.
“I can take these off.” His thumb circled along the front of your panties before feeling your clit through the cotton. “I really want to see all of you.”
You were quickly starting to get dizzy from the pleasure of having Cedric rubbing the swollen, aching nub between your legs. The only thing on your mind at that moment was how good it felt to have that soft pressure on that sensitive area.
Cedric couldn’t get enough of staring at the blissed out expression on your face. He knew he was experienced enough with his fingers to be able to make you cum just from that if he wanted to.
Instead, he pulled his fingers away just before tugging your panties down, letting the delicate material glide along your soft thighs before tossing them in the same pile as your other clothes.
Before you could think about closing your legs, Cedric grabbed one of your ankles and maneuvered it so that his torso was between your thighs.
One look was all it took to know your pussy was already wet and eager for him to insert something into it. He could start small with one finger and add more until he stretched you out good enough before you were ready.
“How does this feel?” He asked you as he inserted his pointer finger into your hole.
“I want more… please?” It took him by surprise to hear how needy, but small your voice sounded, but he was more than eager and willing to fulfill your wants, so he added a second finger and curled it upwards.
That was when your eyes widened and your mouth started to twitch around a high-pitched whimper.
“Right there! Please!” You pleaded for him to give you more of that pleasurable sensation with his fingers, but unfortunately he pulled away, making you gasp at the new emptiness.
“Is this all for me?” Cedric asked as he brought his fingers to your face. Your wet and sticky juices coated them, its shine and gloss thick, making his fingers almost look like a sweet treat. It might as well have been just that for Cedric, having popped them into his mouth. You watched in awe as he licked off every drop of your arousal from his fingers without breaking eye contact with you.
“Darling, I think it’s time both of us give each other pleasure.” He smiled at you as he leaned forward, using one arm to prop himself up as he nudged the tip of his hard cock against your folds.
“Don’t you agree?” His deep voice whispered through your ear, making you melt as you lazily nodded along.
Holding onto the soft flesh of your hips, Cedric sheathed himself inside of you.
“Oh bloody hell, you feel so good.” He grunted as he felt your walls squeezing around him. “You’re doing so well.”
With his encouragement, you were prompted to become more responsive as you started to pant and moan louder with each thrust that became quicker. That was when you felt a pressure inside you start to build up.
To make that pressure even more intense, Cedric started rubbing your clit in circles. Your body was so close to convulsing around his dick at this point. It couldn’t have been more than ten seconds that you had shut your eyes as the pleasure overtook your entire body, and you saw stars behind your eyelids.
“Oh my God… Cedric!” You gasped. “I just finished…” You ended the sentence with a whisper.
“I’m almost there too, Angel.” He said to you with that same hushed tone as he continued to thrust into you with the same deep but measured pace as before until he gripped the pillow next to your head. A loud grunt left his throat as he bit his lip.
As if he had momentarily lost control of himself and regained it, he slipped out of you before he stroked himself one last time.
You looked down at your breasts and stomach where he had spilled himself and then up above you where he was catching his breath.
He let his head hang low above your shoulder, while your fingers glided over his back once. He returned the action except this time his agile fingers started at your cheek then your neck and shoulder before ending at the curve of your waist. He continued this a handful of times, seeing as how it seemed to soothe you, compelling your eyelids to shut slowly.
When a couple of minutes had passed without a peep from you and Cedric was absolutely sure you were asleep, he dug his wand out from his bedside drawer before casting a spell, cleaning the both of you up before tucking you under the blanket and joining you with his arm around you.

(Y/N) and Cedric had met during the sorting ceremony
(Y/N) was terrified-
It made sense, seeing as he had only been introduced to the wizarding world, what
a month ago?
So he was visibly unsettled
His hands were sweaty and his face was flushed
His hair was ruffled from having run his hands through it
And Cedric took pity on him
"Hi! I'm Cedric Diggory! What's your name?" Cedric asked, smiling as he held out his hand.
"Uh- I'm (Y/N)... (L/N)," (Y/N) hesitated, his hand shaking as he took Cedric's hand.
Cedric could feel the sweat on his hand as he shook it, but he shook it off.
"That's a cool name! What house do you think you'll get sorted into?"
(Y/N) didn't know, nor did he care
He just cared about going back home to normal school
And he told Cedric this
Causing his face to heat up as Cedric laughed
"You want to go back to normal school? Why? It sounds boring to me," Cedric had said as you waited for McGonagall to call the new students into the Great Hall.
"You're right, it was really boring. But it was less nerve wracking than this." (Y/N) gestured vaguely around them.
Cedric had offered his hand as a comfort
and (Y/N) took it
And that was probably the most defining moment in their friendship
Of course they only got closer through the years
And their friendship was very physical
The two of them were constantly touching
Holding hands
Hugs
Arms over each other's shoulders
Etc.
You get the point
So naturally (?)
People assumed they were dating
"Hey Cedric," another Hufflepuff came up to him, sliding into the seat in front of him with a flirty smile.
"Hey Axel!" Cedric greeted with a smile. The truth was, (Y/N) and Cedric were hardly apart, but (Y/N) had been pulled away by another friend.
"How would you feel about going out with me?"
Cedric was a bit shocked by the bluntness of the question, but was even more confused as one of Axel's Slytherin friends came up and hissed a whisper.
"Axel, I already told you- Cedric and (Y/N) are dating!" said Slytherin scolded, trying to pull Axel away.
"Wait, what-" Cedric's brows furrowed.
"So sorry about that, he doesn't know what he's doing," Axel's friend apologized, laughing nervously and pulling Axel away.
Cedric was left absolutely puzzled as (Y/N) rejoined him.
"Sorry about that, Ced. Woah, are you okay?" (Y/N) asked as he adjusted his blue and silver tie, looking at Cedric with concern.
"I think people think we're a couple," Cedric revealed, looking at (Y/N) with concern.
The two promptly burst into laughter.
Of course, they were both hiding the fact that they really did want to be a couple
But they'd never tell each other that.
Until Hermione Granger shoved them into a broom closet together.
"Hermione, let us out! I was in the middle of my painting!" (Y/N) shouted, hitting the door a bit for extra dramatics.
"Not until you two spill your guts!" Hermione shouted back.
"We have nothing to spill, Hermione, we're best friends!" Cedric shouted back.
Both boys waiting a moment before realizing Hermione had walked away.
(Y/N) groaned and twisted around, dragging himself against the wall until he was sitting on the floor.
"So, what famous painting are you working on now?" Cedric teased, sitting next to his best friend of six years.
"Uh- another landscape," (Y/N) chuckled, scratching the back of his neck nervously. He was clearly lying, but Cedric didn't question it.
Instead Cedric picked up (Y/N)'s hand and played with his fingers, noting the brown paint covering them.
"What were you painting that required so much brown paint?" Cedric snorted, noting the amount that (Y/N) was sporting.
"...Dirt?" (Y/N) sheepishly tried. ((Y/N) was very bad at lying, and Cedric knew this.)
"Seriously, what are you painting?" Cedric was genuinely curious now.
"...You."
Cedric's gaze darted up in surprise, eyebrows raised with a smile growing on his lips.
"You're painting me? Why?" Cedric asked with a laugh, whispering now.
"Because you're really pretty, why wouldn't I want to paint you?" (Y/N) shrugged with a smile, avoiding Cedric's gaze and hoping he couldn't see his rosy cheeks in the dark of the closet. "I'm not sure I'll be able to do you justice, though. The reason there's so much brown paint is because I'm trying to find the right shade for your hair- which surprisingly won't match your eyes."
Cedric brought his hand up to (Y/N)'s neck, using his other hand to turn (Y/N)'s face to look him in the eyes.
"Can I kiss you?" Cedric asked, eyes bright as he smiled widely.
"What?" (Y/N) gasped, blinking a few times.
"Can I kiss you?" Cedric repeated with a small laugh.
"Uh- yeah," (Y/N) stammered, and Cedric swooped in to steal a kiss.
As they parted, (Y/N) sighed, blinking his eyes open.
"Pinch me."
"What?" Cedric laughed, shaking his head.
"Pinch me so I know I'm not dreaming."
You can imagine majority of the school's surprise when they realized the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw boy had just gotten together-
and hadn't, you know, been dating for the last couple of years.

Sorry if this didn't turn out like you expected, but I hope you liked it!
Thank you so much for requesting, anon! Hope you're having a great day!
