"Hey Levi, any new game recommendations for me? I just finished the last lot of books Satan suggested." You asked, plopping down your head on his shoulder to look at his screen.

"M-MC! You have to warn me before you do such things!" He muttered, his ears turning red as he scrolled some webpages pages for you. "But okay yeah these are the new games that are out recently... see anything you like?"

"Oh my God! It's out it's out!" You pointed excitedly at the screen. "Pretty Little Things is out! Finally!! I was dying to tell you all about it!"

Levi visibly stiffened up. "You-you were waiting for this particular game to come out? Are you sure it's not another game with a similar sounding name?"

"Nah uh this is the exact same one. Look up the list of voice actors in this game!"

"WHAT?! MC WHY IS YOUR NAME IN HERE?????"

"Yes! This was the new part-time job I couldn't tell you about since it was still in production! Im so glad you can just play it now!"

"...it's uh ready for download on all platforms already...so which character did voice?"

"Oh spoiler alert, my character is the only one that doesn't have a name, you have assign me one, the same way you name yourself. They even designed the characters to resemble all the VA's and add in some of their personalities, isn't that sweet?"

"Hahaha y-yeah definitely sweet! I'll be sure to check it out soon!"

"Great! Lemme know what you think of the game okay?!" You squeezed him in a small hug before you left.

Later in the Demon Brothers only group chat:

Levi: Code Red! Code Red! ASHSKSHSKSKSJJSKKS

Mammon: WHAT WHAT THAT MEANS AN MC RELATED EMERGENCY RIGHT??

Asmo: OMG are they OKAY?? Should I go check up on them in their room!?!

Satan: I'm already on my way.

Mammon: NOT BEFORE ME YOU'RE NOT!

Belphie: Is MC hurt in anyway?

Beel: Did they pass out from hunger?! I can bring them emergency snacks right away

Lucifer: Can you lot not lose your minds everytime MC is mentioned? Pathetic. Levi, calm down and tell us what's wrong.

Beel: But Lucifer I just saw you hurrying up the stairs to MC's room too...

Satan: Typical Lucifer. By the way, MC is perfectly fine, happy even. Levi what are you on about?

Mammon: Yeah MC can't stop smiling! It's a good thing that happened, you idiot! Why would you scare us like that?

Asmo: Omg apparently MC voice acted in a new game! Levi I need you to download it for me ASAP please!

Beel: Me too, please.

Belphie: Me three.

Lucifer: I've already done it, you all can do it yourselves if you could do your own work for once.

Satan: Oh shut up, MC just did it for you right now as they did it for me.

Levi: It's a Dating Simulator. With multiple H-rated DLC endings. And MC is one of the dateables.

Levi: Hello?!! Did you guys not see my message?!

Levi: Seriously no reaction?! You guys aren't freaked out by this?!?

Beel: I just heard several doors opening and closing at once.

Asmo: Oh come Levi, I think you already know what our reaction is Levi ♥️ How can we possibly hold in our excitement after such a news!?

Levi: Are you all downloading the game together?!!! Y'all are hogging the bandwidth too much, my download speed has gone way down!!

Simeon: Hey

Simeon: I heard some demons in a cafe, raving about a game where MC plays one of the main characters?

Solomon: Indeed MC just sent us all a link right now.

Simeon: Oh is that so? I'll get Luke to help me download it after he's done with his.

Levi: Luke is playing it too?! I don't think it's appropriate given it's certain hidden endings!!

Barbatos: MC already made sure of it. He only has access to the sibling and friendship routes. It's a special version they added for all ages.

Diavolo: It already has downloads in the ten thousands. I'm really glad to see how MC is beloved by Devildom.

Levi: Are NONE of you affected by the fact that there are erotic routes with MC's VOICE?!!

Solomon: Oh I personally cannot wait hear my adorable apprentice's performance.

Barbatos: Ahem. I'd rather not comment on it.

Simeon: Same.

Diavolo: Same.

Levi: Sigh. We really are just a helpless lot at the mercy of MC.

lucifer

Lucifer has been watching you for a while. You've been working so hard lately, trying to help the Student Council out, keeping up with classes, and looking after everyone. Isn't it tiring? After you accidentally fall asleep in the living room, Lucifer approaches you quietly, covering you with his coat and softly placing a kiss on your cheek. Lucifer finds your sleeping face soothing. He could admire you forever.

mammon

Mammon can't stand you hanging around others so much at RAD. It's clear they're interested in you, but you keep insisting on giving them the time of the day. And by now, it should be clear to everyone that you're his and only his. Before going back to the House of Lamentation, Mammon shyly kisses your cheek. He loves you dearly and wants you to pay more attention to him from now on.

leviathan

You're the best friend an otaku could have. Leviathan loves talking, playing video games, and watching anime with you. To be more specific, he loves spending time with you in general. Your presence brings him a sense of peace and acceptance, something that he would never say to your face. After finally clearing a pretty hard level, Levi excitedly kisses your cheek. He panics and goes completely red after noticing what he just did.

satan

It was a beautiful day outside, and Satan invited you to go on a walk searching for cats with him. Satan loves talking to you throughout the way, regardless of the subject. Your voice is music to his ears, and Satan appreciates you lots. After petting and feeding the cats, the demon surprises you by kissing your cheek. The way you look at his feline friends is so cute to him.

asmodeus

When is Asmo not kissing you? Well, anyways... If you're studying, Asmodeus sneaks behind you and places a soft kiss on your cheek. If you're washing the dishes, Asmo puts his hands around your waist and gives you another peck. If you're scrolling down your cellphone for no reason, Asmodeus pushes you close to him and softly kisses your face. You're probably getting 50 kisses a day, Asmo can't get enough of you, and he has tons of different lipsticks to put to use.

beelzebub

Beel loves you so much, and sometimes he doesn't know how to put his feelings into words. When this happens, he tells you how much he and his brothers appreciate you and makes small loving gestures, such as holding your hand or asking for a hug. One day, after eating Spicy Rainbow Pizza, Beel feels its scent on you. He showers your face with little kisses, hoping to taste what's gone. But he keeps kissing you, since your skin feels very nice to him.

belphegor

Belphie is always snuggling up to you. He finds you so comfortable to use as a pillow. Every time Belphegor wants to annoy or tease you, the lazy demon showers you with kisses. And when he wants you to keep laying around in bed with him, he holds you close, whispering sweet things into your ears while taking breaks to place gentle kisses on your eyelids and cheeks.

diavolo

Making you join the Student Council was one of the best things Diavolo has ever done. This way, he could spend a little more time with you. He loved hearing your opinions as a human, and how your voice sounded was enough to give him the motivation to finish his work. Once no one else is around, he excitedly kisses your cheek when you're expecting the least.

barbatos

Barbatos was used to tending the Hell's Garden by himself, but having you around to keep him some company made everything much better. It was nice seeing how you reacted to seeing different Devildom flowers for the first time. After all, your curiosity never failed to amuse him. He couldn't help but give you a small peck on the cheek.

simeon

After spending the whole day helping Simeon look after Luke (and Solomon, grandpa is unhinged), Simeon goes to prepare some tea while you rest in the living room, accidentally falling asleep. Once he's back, Simeon admires how peaceful you are. Simeon places a gentle kiss on your cheek. He'll let you rest for a little longer.

solomon

No matter how powerful Solomon is, he'll never get tired of asking you to join or help him with his magic experiments. He adores having you around and sharing his knowledge with the human he loves the most, especially when potions, curses, and spells are involved. The Sorcerer mischievously kisses your cheek every time you're not looking.

luke

Joining Luke in his baking classes with Master Barbatos was one of the best things you could have done. Besides spending time with them and entertaining yourself by watching their father-son dynamic, you also got to eat delicious sweets baked by them, isn't it heavenly? Luke excitedly places a small kiss on your and Barbatos' cheek. After all, dogs and kids love to spend time with their families.

thirteen

Everything was an accident, and it wasn't even your fault, but Thirteen was so mad! How come you were walking by when she was trying to kill Solomon for the 5th time today? Can't you see where you're going? Now your faces are too close and- Watching Thirteen turn into a blushing mess was fun, but now you'll have to worry about running away and staying alive.

mephistopheles

You challenged Mephistopheles to kiss you in exchange for some funny photos of Lucifer. It was possible to see the blood rushing to his face, though it was hard to tell if this was happening because he was angry or embarrassed (maybe both?). He quickly kissed your cheek and tried his best to fake a disgusting expression afterward.

raphael

Solomon cooked something *special* and gave it to you as a gift, isn't it wonderful? After you stared at it with a soulless expression for 10 minutes, Raphael's stomach grumbled. The angel wanted a bite of whatever Solomon created, and you offered it to him. Though Raphael is not very expressive, he was pretty happy about the meal and placed a gentle kiss on your cheek as thanks.

CHARACTERS: Side Characters (Diavolo, Barbatos, Simeon, Solomon & Luke)

TAGS: Fluff; GN Reader; Headcanons

WORD COUNT: An average of 250 words per character.

CONTEXT: They weren't yet present when this other demon asked you to dance. Especially because with the presence of some of them, the other demons wouldn't even have the courage to approach you.

The demon asked you in a very polite way, so you ended up accepting.

When they/he finally arrives, he looks for you and see you dancing with this other demon.

In fact, it takes a lot of courage, or a boldness, to invite you to dance, taking advantage of the fact that the Future King of the Devildom was not present.

Fortunately for this demon, Diavolo is not one to get jealous easily. When he arrives and sees you dancing, he even laughs to himself. “Oh my. I think I forgot how charming and attractive (Y/N) can be.” It just shows him how perfect you would be to be next to him on the throne.

Barbatos asks if he should stop your dancing, but Diavolo says no. That would be impolite and you looked like you were enjoying yourself. The two are hidden from the public for now.

The music ends, the demon bows to thank you and before he can say anything more to you, maybe try to flirt with you a bit, Diavolo appears and draws the attention to himself.

While he thanks the people present and everything, Barbatos looks directly at the demon that was dancing with you without you noticing. Which frightens him and he starts to walk away from you.

And right after, Diavolo talks about you, thanks you for your presence and such, and at the end of the speech he announces that he will dance with you. And he starts walking towards you.

People move away, creating a corridor between him and you. When he gets in front of you he bows to you. “Will you grant me this dance, my dearest?”

You will stay by his side for the rest of the night, since now, you are the future king's royal companion.

Barbatos is also not one to get jealous easily. Since he wouldn't love someone he can't 150% trust. What he's not a big fan of is some demons even having the daring to ask you for something like a slow dance.

Being a butler, he knows a few things about balls. And one of them is "politely stealing" someone else's dance partner.

You were dancing with this other demon, until you spin around and a hand gently pulls you towards him. When you realize it, you were now dancing with Barbatos.

The other demon stands still for a second, not quite understanding how that happened. And that's when Barbatos gives you a creepy smirk, warning him to go away before he decides so get some little revenge.

Barbatos is too discreet, so you just noticed that the other demon was gone and Barbatos was acting like he never even existed. You ask him what just happened.

“Nothing worth worrying about, I assure you.” he tells you with a gentle smile. “And allow me tell you that you look particularly magnificent today.”

As a butler, he has duties and can't spend a lot of time with you. However, if you want, he has arranged the most comfortable place for you to relax in the moments when he cannot be with you. “And remember, like every other guest at this ball, I am here to serve you. But, like at any other ball, you are the special guest that must be prioritized by me.” and he winks at you.

He knows that he shouldn't, but Simeon can't help but feel a slight discomfort in his stomach at the sight of you dancing with a demon he doesn't even know.

And of course he doesn't want to be so rude as to interrupt you, especially seeing that you're actually enjoying yourself. So he waits until the end of the song.

As soon as that happens he starts approaching you. But the demon that danced with you won't go away. In fact, you even hear a muffled sound as if he has some sort of disgust with Simeon. You see Simeon and want to go to him, but you feel the demon pulling you back to him.

Now Simeon realizes that you are uncomfortable and reaches you two. “Good evening (Y/N). Would you grant me the next dance.” he says with a sweet smile.

The demon replies no for you, showing a complete lack of respect for Simeon and now, out of the blue, for you too. You make him let go of you and you show how upset you were about that.

You go to Simeon and he places himself between you and the demon. “I believe that now you can look for someone else to dance with.” He says smiling at the demon. However, that wasn't his usual smile, but the kind of smile that Lucifer himself prefers to avoid being directed at him.

The demon walks away, pretending he didn't because he really got scared. Simeon turns to you and asks if you were okay.

He will literally be your guardian angel all night long and won't leave your side.

Oh, Solomon IS a jealous man. And it's one thing to be dancing with someone he admires and respects, it's another to be dancing with a completely random demon. Who was he, anyway?

Well, well, well, what a coincidence. He was one of the 72 demons Solomon had a pact with. And when he realizes this, he smiles.

He leaves the room and a few seconds later the demon you're dancing with suddenly disappears in front of your very eyes. You look around confused and some of the other guests are looking at you and muttering to each other. You end up going into a corner. And none of the other demons get very close to you anymore.

A short time later Solomon re-enters the ballroom, looking for you and as soon as he sees you, he walks straight to you. He arrives smiling, but sees that you don't look very happy. “What's wrong my love? Didn't you like balls?” You say you do, but you tell them what happened and that now people look at you like it was you who made him disappear, like you were radioactive or something.

He laughs softly, and you look at him in annoyance. “I'm sorry. Maybe if I tell everyone that I was the one who did it, the ambience will be better for you?” You look at him in surprise. “But maybe it's not necessary. Some of those present may assume as much when they see me dancing with you. Speaking of which...” he bows to you and extends his hand “Would you grant me this dance?”

He won't leave you for the rest of the night. And he was right. After seeing him as your date, you started to feel the suspicious glances move towards him instead.

Why are you always surrounded by demons? I mean, Luke knows you all are in the Devildom, but still.

He arrived with Simeon and he was making that little sulky face, which made Simeons chuckle. And he suggests that Luke will ask you to dance when the current song ends. He was apprehensive at first, but then decided that yes, he was going to ask you to dance.

The song ends, you and the demon you were dancing with bow to each other in thanks for the dance. And you hear a familiar voice behind you calling your name shyly. “W-would you dance with me?” Luke was already blushing. He was so cute!

The demon starts to mock him, as if you were going to dance with a sample of an angel like that. But before he can even finish the second sentence you're already silently looking at him with knives in your eyes. He immediately shut his mouth and starts to walk away.

You turn back to Luke with a smile. Of course you would dance with him. You will see him smiling the whole time you are dancing together.

You'll probably spend the rest of the night with him and Simeon. The two of them “protecting” that little angel.

MC stays dead for good

Diavolo

He was aware he was most likely sending MC to their death but he still held onto the hope that they will make it out alive. They have been doing so well until that point, managed to get pacts with over half of the brothers, but unfortunately, fate had other plans for them.

He will beat himself over this whole affair for a long time. Not only did the exchange program failed, but he also let down a friend and led them to their own death.

He got so carried away when MC said they want to prove that Belphegor was innocent that he forgot they were only human. They didn't have a grasp on how to use their magic and pacts.

This failure as both a ruler and a friend will always live in the back of his head. That day he failed multiple people and he was the one that had to tell them there is no saving MC in the end. The only thing worse than the memory of MC's corpse being craddled gently by Mammon were the defeated looks of all the brothers.

Belphegor should count himself lucky he is not killed on the spot. All of Diavolo's hard work went down the drain in one night. It would probably take another 2000 years before he could even attempt peace between the three world again. The only reason Belphegor is only locked up and not killed is because of the brothers. He will have to deal with political fallout that MC's death would bring, he can't deal with the chaos the brothers would rise if he were to kill Belphegor.

Barbatos

He knew this would happen yet he still hoped that MC would make it out alive, there are timelines where they do that after all.

In the end, he didn't get his hopes up and he was grateful for that. The sight of their corpse, the looks on the brother's faces, even the disappointed and sadness on Diavolo's face, he was able to keep his calm demeanor through all of that.

He was the one that dealt with all the details that about proceedings after MC's death. Their families would have to be informed but still hide all of the details about the exchange, Belphegor's imprisonment and standing by Diavolo's side as the consequences begind to follow.

He didn't get the opportunity to get close to MC and for that he was glad. It was easier to deal with their death and the fact that they were never coming back.

The only thing that bothered him is when he would see them happy and healthy in other timelines. That's when all the 'what if?' question would pop up in his mind. But in the end those were not his timelines. He knew better than to indulge in worlds that he did not belong to after living with his powers for so long.

Simeon

He only found out days after MC's actual death but he felt something was deeply wrong even before that. Neither the brothers, nor Diavolo and Barbatos would show up to school and he couldn't reach MC.

When he heard that MC died he thought it was at the hands of a lower demon. He didn't know the whole attic ordeal so that was the only logical explanation at the moment.

When he learned the whole truth, he wasn't sure if he would have preferred to live in ignorance or not. It really shaken his perception of the brothers for a bit, after all he knew Belphie since he was an angel. To find out that the angel that loved humans so much turned into a demon that hated humanity was quite the shock to him.

He insisted to remain for MC's funeral. He wasn't there for their last moments, so he wants to be there when their soul is sent off to the Celestial Realm.

He tries hide how much MC's death hurt him from Luke. He is young and just lost someone, so Simeon tries to be there for him before the tries to work through his feelings.

He really saw MC as someone to cherish and even look up, often times referring to how they would make a better angel than him. To him they seemed so untouchable that he forgot how humans with no control of their magic could be.

Luke

All the progress he made about seeing demons in a better light is gone. He even sees them as bigger monsters than before.

Poor kid really looked up to MC as an older sibling figure so to hear that they have died broke him. Since he wasn't alive through the wars, MC's death was probably the first violent death he had ever have to deal with. Maybe MC the first person in his life to even die.

He is aware that Simeon is pushing his feelings aside for him and he hates but doesn't know how to deal with these knew feelings so he just accepts his help.

Will probably bake MC's favorite deserts in their memory...poor kid isn't really sure on how to deal when loved ones die, especially when they are murdered.

Solomon

If MC died at the begging of the exchange program he wouldn't have been surprised, it's Devildom after all. But not only did they not die, they made 5 pacts with the lords of Hell and managed to sneak their way into his life.

He wasn't expecting that he would get so attached to his fellow human exchange but they did. So when things started to change about the brothers he started to expect the worst.

He knew there would come a day when MC would leave him for good and die, all the people in his life did that but he didn't expect for that time to come so soon. Especially in such a cruel manner.

MC was the one that made him see demons as friends, and while not all the progress is gone he will still need to take some time for himself.

He has done it 1000 times over the course of his life span, he dealt with the death of his loved ones more than he would like yet, it's still never easy to get used to their presence being gone. Especially when it's so out of nowhere.

For quite a while he doesn't even dare to try and make a pact with Lucifer. Is it due to MC's memory, knowing that he won't get a pact in those circumstances? He isn't really sure, he just knows he wants to throw himself into his research to distract himself from the wound MC's death left in his heart.

Diavolo is definitely at a loss. He's met many people as the future Devildom King, but he's never met someone as forgetful as you.

Even though he's at a loss, he'll definitely try to help you through your time in the Devildom.

He most definitely feels as though it's his fault. Not for your faulty memory, but for putting you through all of this.

After some time, you start to grow closer and he starts to help you even more, as much as he can.

He'll try to help you with schoolwork, if you can't remember something.

But if you forget an anniversary, he's alright with that, he'll definitely understand.

He won't do anything without your permission though, so don't expect a huge party right off the bat.

BARBATOS ;; THE LOYAL BUTLER

Congratulations! You've got Barbatos himself confused!

Now, on a serious note, it does throw him off.. a lot. He won't show that, of course. But your lack of remembrance is confusing and very odd to him.

Upon first meeting, that's all you'll get, confusion that you had no idea was there.

He'd introduce himself and that was that.

Later on, he'd be very sweet, helping you when necessary and telling you things you cannot remember.

If you forget an anniversary, he wouldn't be mad or upset (not that you could see it anyway) he would simply bake you a cake with the words "Happy Anniversary, My Dear" engraved on top.

SOLOMON ;; THE WITTY SORCERER

Solomon is all over you. He's asking you all sorts of questions. What is up with you? Why do you forget so easily?

He's so old he barely remembers how humans work, okay?

He'll always do things to make your forgetfulness worse.

By putting things on higher shelves when you wrote on a note that what you were looking for was on the third shelf, etc.

Later on, he wouldn't ask many questions but he would still mess with you.

If you happened to forget your anniversary, he wouldn't mind. Although, he would be slightly upset. So, he'd make you a meal to eat. Though, through your forgetfulness, you ate it. Farewell, soldier.

SIMEON ;; THE AFFECTIONATE ANGEL

Simeon is such a sweetheart he doesn't even do anything bad.

He'll talk to you and help you through your forgetfulness by telling you certain dates and whatnot.

He is confused at first, yes, but he'll immediately help you to the best of his ability.

Later on, he'll start to make you lunches or breakfasts if you forget, and he'll always leave a note with things you'll need to remember.

If you forget an anniversary, he won't be mad, but he will take you out to a Cafe. Possibly a quiet one where you can sit in the quiet corner and just talk.

LUKE ;; THE STRICT ANGEL

Poor baby Luke is so confused. Why did you just forget who he was? He walked away for maybe five seconds?

He will help you to the best of his tiny ability though.

Though I wouldn't expect too much, he tries very hard and I think that would be enough.

If you forgot a birthday, for example, he would walk to your room with a cake, no matter who's birthday it was, yours or his. He'll bring a cake to eat with you.

Obey Me Headcanons - Part 4

Mammon became luckier when the exchange program started. Not because of MC but because of Luke.

Satan is in an improv group but if you ask no he isn't.

Asmo gives people he's modelling with backhanded compliments to throw them off their game. Of course he'll look better but you can never be too sure. Right?

All of the brothers, except Satan sleep with lights on because they can't fall asleep in full darkness after living in the Celestial Realm.

Beel can't tie a tie. Satan tied his once and now he just loosens and tightens it.

Belphie can't tie his shoes. They're either Velcro, slip on, or untied.

He will never admit it.

They save it for when he asks for money and pretends to loan it to him, know he won't pay them back.

MC has said "oh I thought you were the Avatar of ____, not the avatar of being a bitch ass" to at least one of the brothers.

Mammon was fucking around and chased some baby geese only for the mom to beat the shit out of him.

If Lilith had fallen with the brothers and become a demon, her sin would have been wrath.

Any being that can see ghosts/spirits can catch glimpses of her having violent reactions to coinciding with Satan's if he gets mad.

When MC drinks too much and needs someone to pick them up, they voice text Mammon asking for him to come.

Except half way through they always go: oh never mind Solomon just walked in. I'll just have a sleep over with him.

Mammon is ALWAYS there faster than a pizza delivery guy promising 20 minutes or less or a free pizza.

While Levi had his nickname long before Satan, it only really became commonplace when Satan was young because he couldn't pronounce the TH in leviathan.

Asmo can't French braid his hair, it always turns out as a Dutch braid.

Levi, however, is amazing at all different types of braids, so now he has to braid Asmo's hair

Diavolo thinks the funniest joke he's ever heard is the updog joke.

Mammon has gotten tricked into several multi level marketing scams.

He tries unsuccessfully to get his brothers to join each time.

Solomon started one just to mess with him.

Once again what could have been keeps me up at night. Just a mess of thoughts so bear with me. Usual warning for terrible grammar and typos

So, the lesson 16 and the rest of season 1. We all hated it, it's trash.

Timeline doesn't make sense. MC makes a pact with Belphie at Dia's birthday party. Which is at Halloween. Which is in October. Am i supposed to believe that ALL pact making/building relationships/forging bonds happened in 2 MONTHS???

Or maybe they go by japanese timeline which is ,ok more realistic, but still not enough time for someone (sup)

We never got to have Satan bonding time after making a pact with him. Unfair and homophobic if you ask me.

In better version of obm i propose the following. Satan, with all of his baggage, sees how brothers start to treat MC. He sees how all of their kindness and strength of character, all their efforts, everything that they done gets diminished. All of this is not becaise of MC as a person but because they related to Lilith (big sus on this but to each their own).

Satan sees it. And it makes him ANGRY

(The following based on my own MC so it has headcanons)

I propose the ending of season 1 to be Satan's time to shine. He will become our supporter, our confidant. The only one who will see how fucked up it all is. MC has no trust left for the brothers, their behavior hurted them deeply. Satan is the only one they can trust.

Maybe MC will tell Satan or he will ulfigure it out on his own but when the "being murdered isn't ok for humans" will click ohhhh. He also fucked up for ignoring this at first. Feeling guilty and searching up books on human psychology, consulting Solomon (who is immortal and his advice is shit)

Solomon who realises something is wrong. Gets so fucking angry when MC explains what happened.

Just Satan and Solomon being the only ones who MC talks to. And Luke ofc but you can't tell him about the murder.

Planting seeds for Simeon character arc. He thinks MC just needs to forget it all. They need to think of brothers first. Think about how your behavior hurts them , MC. They're happy about their sister, why must you ruin this? Just forgive already

MC won't even stays for the rest of the year. They got back to human world with Solomon to study under him. They summon Satan so he can visit.

And the season 2 is, again, how MC is a human represantative making sure Exchange programm will be safe for humans. And this time it's the brothers who seek us out. Reverse roles from season 1 so now they need to get MC's forgiveness before they got back to human world again

A/N: Hi! I was accepting headcanon requests (closed upon posting this). This gave me the shivers, I cannot stand bugs touching me and especially not on my face, so I can only hope my loves would save me :( I went with side characters as I couldn't really come up with enough content or ideas for just one character for a headcanon ask, I'm sorry, but I hope you enjoy these sweet short headcanons

Featuring: GN reader || Diavolo x reader, Barbatos x reader, Simeon x reader, Solomon x reader, Mephisto x reader, Thirteen x reader, Raphael x reader

Warnings: mentions of bugs/cockroaches; relationship with suitor not specified, up for interpretation

Regular human world cockroaches are awful enough to deal with. But being in the Devildom, you often come across some truly monstrous equivalents of animals and bugs, some you've grown used to and even liked. But some of them were truly terrifying, and unfortunately, your worst nightmares came true when you had one of those monstrous Devildom cockroaches flying down at you. It took what felt like hours to escape the damned thing, and your shaking form immediately sought out the comfort of your closest confidante...

Diavolo

When you go to Diavolo and tell him what happened, he may laugh a little at first, but don't be angry. He's just always delighted to see all the different reactions you have. It's especially fascinating to him to see how unfazed you are when handling a multitude of demons, especially the likes of the Seven Avatars, but the likes of a bug scares you instead. But he's reminded of a certain butler who also has a certain, unexpected fear...

He'll offer to protect you from them in the future and comfort you for now by cuddling with you. He may even make some dumb jokes to try to distract you and help calm you down, or have you sit beside him while he's working. And if you'd like, he'll also share with you about something that he can't stand, as well (so long as you promise not to tell anyone else, including Barbatos).

Barbatos

When you come running to Barbatos, he's convinced there's a war going on with how worried and freaked out you seem. But once you get the chance to tell him what happened, he's thankfully understanding. He knows too well about dealing with attacks from.. unwanted creatures, and can only imagine how he'd freeze up if he dealt with a rat.

He takes you to his room and makes you some soothing tea or other hot drink to help calm you down. He might invite you to a little baking date to get your mind off of what happened, both by making yourself busy and getting the reward of a delicious treat at the end.

He'll also be sure to educate you on how to prevent and treat bug infestations. After all, he's very familiar with dealing with unwanted pests, so he wants to be sure you're prepared to deal with them in the future in case he's not around to protect you.

Simeon

Simeon, the sweetheart that he is, deeply sympathizes with your fear and is very very sweet about it. He'll provide you hugs, back pats, or even just lend an ear if you want to tell him about what happened. His empathetic self will even shiver after hearing about the bug's description, truly feeling for you and the ordeal you went through.

He may also offer to handle the bug for you, but please don't take him up on it 😬 He might get just as freaked out as you, and then both of you are screaming and running away, which only stresses Luke out. Instead, it's best to let him recruit someone else to handle the bug and perhaps settle down in his room while he reads you some poetry or maybe even TSL.

Solomon

Solomon may laugh a little, like Diavolo, when you tell him what happened, but he'll be quick to apologize if it makes you angry. He's lived a long time and been to so many places, he's so used to all manner of creatures and is completely unfazed by the things found in the Devildom. Once you've calmed down some, he'd be happy to teach you about other crazy creatures commonly found in the Devildom, hoping maybe some prior knowledge will help you at least a little bit in future encounters.

If you'd like, he'll happily teach you a spell to destroy the bug the next time one attacks you, or he may even offer to find and take care of the one that had come after you. Once that's taken care of, he'll be sure to take you on an outing to somewhere fun so you can forget about what happened. At worst, he may try to cheer you up with baking something for you, in which some distractions might be needed. But maybe you can give his cooking to the cockroach...?

Mephistopheles

Mephisto won't make it known to you, but just the mention of a cockroach is enough to get goosebumps on his skin. He sympathizes with you about dealing with such disgusting creatures, and immediately takes you out of there to somewhere perhaps with open air, particularly if its the gardens or a park, somewhere that has a more peaceful feeling to it.

He may be a little mean though and tease you about getting scared by a bug when you're surrounded by demons. But it's easy to see he's just doing that to distract you and make you feel at ease rather than actually insult you, if the gentle look in his eyes is anything to go by. He'll take on a big brother role that he's used to and be your protector for the day.

Thirteen

Thirteen is also loathe to admit it to you, but she hates those cockroaches as well. Anything that flies at her face is a big NO. But luckily, she has her trusty inventions to deal with those pests, all manner of fly swatters, just general melee weapon-looking tools, or traps.

If you ask her nicely or feed her ego a little, she'll help you bug hunt to get rid of the gross things. After all, she doesn't mind the idea of you owing her a favor for her heroic efforts. But really, she's a sucker for you and will hunt down anything that threatens you or your wellbeing.

Raphael

... What do you want him to do about it? I'm kidding. Raphael is a little underwhelming in regards to how comforting he is, but it's mostly because of his stony facial expressions. His eyes show that secret gentleness he has, and although he's not great about verbally comforting you, he'll provide a brief but sweet hug.

If you'd like him to, he's willing to hunt that cockroach down with his spears, although the idea sounds a little nasty to him. But if you don't want to go the murderous route, then he'll just provide you pleasant albeit quiet company until you've calmed down. He's not great at small talk, and he'll be very awkward about it, but he'll try to find things to distract you with and get your mind off them, like puzzles or telling you stories about working with Michael.

Obey Me cast with a child MC <3

As much as I do occasionally simp for the characters, I like soft romance. (If you like spicy stuff though I'm not saying you can't interact with me or whatever- I don't post those stuff but I'm not against y'all)

Anyways, back on topic; .....Obey Me characters as parent figures or sibling figures. Please! Imagine it! That's adorable! In light of that, I have some ✨ headcanons ✨ for each character and a headcanon or two of how they'll act around a child MC about maybe Luke's age or even a bit younger.

**LUCIFER**: He won't directly say it in front of everyone, but he finds MC very cute. He may get angry at his brothers, but will NOT do in front of MC. Lucifer will tell them to wait in another room, then leave and close the door to hang Mammon on the chandelier when MC isn't looking. If someone starts talking to MC, he will glare at whomever is talking to them for a few seconds before looking away, but will ALWAYS keep an ear on the conversation. Very obviously protective parent/brother. He can be kinda strict, but he's also very soft with MC. He knows how to treat children as the oldest brother, after all.

**MAMMON**: At first, Mammon isn't sure what to do with MC. A child? How will this help him? MC's boldness (or naivety) grows on him though, and he'll eventually spoil this child. Like, part of his big spending will go to getting this kid a ton of good stuff. Trending toy? You bet! He'll complain that he's broke later and his ideas of what's good for a kid are somewhat wonky, but he means well. He may even gather the courage to ask Lucifer, Simeon, and Barbatos on how to take care of a child! Least likely to warn people that there's a child in the room when someone curses.

**LEVIATHAN**: If ANY of these people felt the most unprepared, it's Levi. He tries though! Families on animes when they do show up look really happy, anyways! If there's one thing about this though that he's better than Mammon though, is not giving MC dangerous objects. He knows better than that. But he has no idea what he's doing, so he tries to research it, wing it, and see how MC reacts. He was so happy when the child followed him around pretty easily. Gaming buddy, you know? For MC's sake, he's a bit more active, because if he doesn't, he's afraid he'll look boring in their eyes. He introduces Henry 2.0 to MC at some point, too!

**SATAN**: He's a lot more outwardly calm about a human child bonding with him and seems to take it smoothly...... But that's just on the outside. Privately, he's very confused, surprised, and pours some hours into his reading time for learning how to take care of a child. He's the type of care figure to read MC bedtime stories. Absolutely. Also, he knows that Lucifer won't let him keep pets, but if MC wants a cat he'll get them a cat dammit the child wants one. After bonding with MC, he's a lot more nervous about his temper and his demon form (sharp tail), so there are times where he seems to just vanish from the House of Lamentation. He's fine though! He's somewhere with MC to calm himself if that happens. Satan likes to show them pictures of places in a book and if MC says that they're interested in a certain place, Satan will take them there, granted that it's a safe place. If someone says one bad thing about them, or if MC cries, Satan will be on a warpath as soon as MC isn't watching.

**ASMODEUS**: He'd gasp and find MC really cute!! He'd totally take them in and find really cute outfits for them. If they want to, he'd also paint their nails. For the child's sake, he'll tone down his jokes around MC, but a rather dirty one slips out sometimes, and someone will have to either cover their ears or tell him that there's a child in the room. He really acts the most like a sibling or a proud mom. He may also post pictures of MC on Devilgram, too. He usually finds it atrocious, but he'll let MC "make him beautiful"; choosing colors, drawing on him, brushing his hair, you get it. MC is a ball of sunshine to him. Asmo is also very generous with praise.

**BEELZEBUB**: When MC first approaches him, he's confused. Why is a tiny human kid walking up to or near a giant demon of gluttony like him? He's not complaining though. He doesn't have experience in caring for someone much younger than him, but he has experience in general care for someone from taking care of Belphie growing up. Beel is careful to be gentle, and is happy to give MC a lift or a piggyback ride whenever they want to. He'd also like to take MC on food tours to try a bunch of cool foods. Then afterwards, they'll head to like a McDonald's or something and he'll order them some chickie nuggies while he gets a cheeseburger. There were a few times when MC was in danger and none of them realized. Thankfully, Beel has an intimidating appearance, being very bulky and tall (second tallest character), so as long as he's around, simply being in MC's vicinity will keep them safe. Belphie co-parents/co-big brothers MC as well.

**BELPHEGOR**: Ew, a tiny human. That's his first thought. Unfortunately for him, this was a very much innocent child and wow, what a surprise. The child grows on him. During these beginning stages, he tries to ignore MC, but God Dang it. MC follows him around, finding his sleepiness the equivalent of safest. Eventually, he lets MC into he and Beel's room and even sleeps near them to keep them safe, pulling a blanket over them whenever they sleep without one. He'll even temporarily lend MC his pillow, which surprises everyone but Beel. Belphegor finds this to be common sense, but the realization that he might be some sort of big brother/father figure will eventually sink in and he will accept this with a long sigh before smiling fondly at MC. He likes to ruffle their hair sometimes too as a sign of affection, and will let MC hug him to warm themself up. He's a very laid-back father figure/big brother figure, so he often let's MC just do their thing while he naps nearby, but he gains an uncanny sense of when something might go wrong with MC, so he'll wake up in a snap if needed. If anyone other than MC wakes him up, he'll glare at them, but will gently smile if it's the child. If someone tries to quickly wake up MC, they shall receive no mercy (/hj(?)).

**DIAVOLO**: HUGE millionaire father vibes. HUGE. And it's very accurate! Except that he'll actually try his best to spend time with MC! He grabbed the wrong person when doing the exchange program, so he ended up with this human child instead of the young adult he was getting. He very much regrets this. He tries taking MC back, but it's either harder than expected, or the child keeps wandering off. Dia then tries to have the brothers take MC. MC latches on to him instead, and he just gives up because oh my god not the puppy dog eyes. Like what Mammon would do, he spoils MC ROTTEN. Only the best for them. The difference is though is that Diavolo has a better idea on how to treat a child and that he'll probably never go broke. He unfortunately has to work a lot, so there are times where he won't get to see MC. However, he lets MC roam around the palace grounds, granted that a trusted servant watches over them. He'll even pay the servant extra if they do. Either that or Barbatos serves as MC's father figure when Diavolo is busy. This is no problem for Barbs though, because he's already kind of a father figure for Diavolo and Diavolo as a child was even harder. Sometimes, MC likes to just run into his office to surprise him and Dia is very touched, and will both praise them and pat their head, telling them to leave ONLY when VERY nessasary. He's a very loving father figure and likes to call MC "my little prince/princess/royal". Everyone is pretty sure the only reason why he hasn't actually adopted MC is because they had an actual life in the human world and he is trying his best to respect that. Also, btw, I noticed that this section is a bit longer than my other sections, so I think my bias is showing I'm sorry-

**BARBATOS**: Diavolo approaches him shyly one day and asks him to take care of a child while he figures out how to send them back. Barbatos agrees, and he takes to the task of caring for MC rather quickly because dedication. It also helps that he knows how to take care of children because of the Young Master. At first, it was purely dutiful, but it becomes genuine after a while. He's happy to let MC taste test and "review" his food, and one can see him with a gentle smile whenever MC is happy. Barbatos also lets MC join his baking lessons with Luke, which makes both of them happy and Simeon to an extent because Luke is happy. Barbatos is also a very good teacher, and he knows perfectly when to be strict and when to be sweet. He lets MC follow him when he does his chores around the castle and even lets them decorate his "room" with stickers and other things. This is usually considered untidy, but he doesn't care. He finds the decor quite charming.

**SIMEON**: As an angel, he already has a protective instinct, so he was pleasantly surprised and delighted when MC decides to befriend him. He's very happy that Luke and MC kinda click together, and eventually, MC is unofficially adopted alongside Luke. Simeon is very fond of his little siblings/children, and treats them equally while still embracing their differences. You know the way he canonically treats Luke? Same with MC. Sim is most likely to slightly gasp and go "Language, there are children" when the brothers swear and joke. He goes on lots of small walks and activities with Luke and MC and he enjoys every moment of it, being most open about his affection. This section is kinda short because there's already a lot of canon material about his relationship with a child (Luke).

**LUKE**: BESTIES! They're about the same age, and human is much better than demon, so they fit! He and MC do basically everything together! Of course, in this scenario since they're about the same age, Luke's scenario is one where any of the other characters is MC's parent figure. It fits better though if it's Simeon, Barbatos, Diavolo, Solomon, Thirteen, Raphael, or to an extent Lucifer, but anyone will do. Luke and MC will gossip a bit, mostly Luke telling them to be careful for demons, but whomever is MC's guardian will get a pass. If one is a tough situation, the other will be immediate support. The duo love to doodle or window-watch together and everyone finds the two to be adorable. MC is the first or second person to try his food. 🥺. (Short for a similar reason to Simeon.)

**SOLOMON**: MC was probably drawn to him because he's also human, like them. I'm sure some of you are wondering about his food, so there's two scenarios: 1. MC also has a strangely iron stomach like Sol and Raph or 2. People donate food. You choose. If it's the first one, they're as confused as Sol and Raph about why people don't like his food. MC is very impressed with his magic, and Sol enjoys making mini fireworks and bubbles for them. He understands why MC might've befriended him, so he's not as confused about this, but is almost as slow in the head about what's safe for a child as Mammon. If he finds a new spell, MC is first to know about it. If he's busy, Sol will ask Asmo or Barbs to babysit and they agree to, usually. Like Asmo, he's generous with giving MC praise, but in a calmer way. He also gives MC a protective talisman just in case, as well. Solomon adores this child and even made them a few magical items, not counting the talisman.

**THIRTEEN**: Yep, even the currently undatables will get entries. 13 is like "...Is this a child? Seriously?" when they first meet, but finds that MC either doesn't mind traps or enjoys the pranking as well. This means fun! This gains some favor to her. MC may become like her partner in crime whenever they cause mischief. To surprise them, Thirteen may set up harmless traps that shoot confetti or even give them candy! Their reactions are really endearing, so she'll occasionally leave these behind and make it VERY hard to spot since being with her means that they'll gain a keen eye lol. Sometimes, MC will prank her back with the oldest tricks, and she's either genuinely surprised or falls for it on purpose just to get them to laugh.

**MEPHISTOPHELES**: The least willing to look after a child, but Mephisto is a Diavolo stan, so he eventually agrees. He ignores MC most of the time, but will begrudgingly help them out if they get stuck somewhere, partially because of Diavolo, partially because he doesn't want to ruin his reputation, and partially because he genuinely feels bad. He lets MC do whatever as long as it doesn't affect him, but makes sure to follow them so that he can follow orders. If MC likes horse riding, this sparks some interest, and he will bring MC along the next time he goes. Eventually, he'll have more pride in his voice whenever he talks about what MC is up to, even if he'll never completely say it.

**RAPHAEL**: Out of the three newest characters, he would be the most accepting of this situation. He's very curious at first. It's not every day that a normal human child ends up here, after all. He'll take MC along with him whenever he goes somewhere, and slowly becomes fiercely protective with spear ablazing if something might jeopardize their safety, even for the smallest thing because man's not too socially in tune. He may also slowly and somewhat uncertainly give MC headpats as well as a silent "good job" if they tell him something they did. Raph will ask Simeon for advice on how to look after a ~10 year old to make sure he doesn't do anything wrong. He can sometimes be a bit emotionally dense, but he still has a protector's instinct, after all.

Mc: Lucifer is my altar to Hestia!! You can't put out the flames in honor of the home fire.

Satan: Mc pleace, mythology is just a tale.

Mc: Are YOU really telling me this?

Belphie: they are just inventions Mc...

Mc: the gods are real!!!

Levi: then, how is it possible that Thor and Zeus are both God's od thunder lol?

Mc: the human word is vast and ancient, each mythology has its own domains and must be respected.

Mammon: yeah, yeah, Mc, I hope your little friends the God don't punish us for it...

Mc: *squinting* who plays with fire ends up getting burned.

After several days, an electrical storm broke out in the Devildom and it does not stop.

Mammon: I can't take it anymore, when is this storm going to stop?

Beel: this is very weird... This doesn't usually happen in Devildom

Asmo: I need a night without lightnings nor thunders!!! I can't rest

They all enter in the House soaked and find Mc having tea whit two men.

The brothers: ...

Lucifer: Who are they?

Mc: *grinning* dear biblical creatures let me introduce you to Thor, God of thunder,son of Odin and Zeus, father of God's and God of thunders as well

Zeus raises his hand and, at that moment, a thunder rolls.

Mc: I thought that maybe it's a good time to introduce you to all my friends.

Lucifer: ...

Zeus: ...

Lucifer: so... are you telling me that your daughter was born from your head?

Zeus: that's right.

Lucifer: It is a Joke?

Zeus: well, at least she was not spawned exclusively from my anger.

Lucifer: *angry ofended demon noises*

Levi: so you are a sea god?

Poseidon: yeah, I’m the king of the oceans, the great Poseidon, capable of causing earthquakes and tidal waves, hero of titanomachy and father of numerous creatures.

Levi: ...

Levi: I think that that is a hit to my self esteem.

Mammon: so you are friend with Mc?

Loki: yes

Mammon: and you are a god of tricks and deceit?

Loki: that's how everybody know me.

Mammon: *Realicing* That why Mc always beats me at cards!!

Loki: oh no, i offered my help but... they didn't need it, you are easy enougth to fool whithout my magic

Solomon: I still can't belive that Mc had ties to all of you.

Isis: well, they are a lovely person, and they have respected and honored us since they were a child.

Solomon: ... you are a magic god, aren't you?

Isis: *Look up and down at Solomon* Yes I am

Solomon: could you teach me some spells? I want to use them to cook something for Mc and the others, you know to surprise them.

Isis: oh boy, that's a pathetic excuse, I'm not going to teach you anything. Besides, there is no magic that can save what you call cooking.

Solomon: ... auch

Asmo: so... you are the embodiment of beauty?

Afrodita: of course, don't you have eyes?

Asmo: well I have not seen anything that you have achieved that I have not.

Afrodita: *similing* cute little demon, I defeated you the moment I shared a bath with Mc.

Asmo: ...

Asmo: you win, teach me, please

Barbatos: ...

Hades: ...

Luke looks at Barbatos with teary eyes.

Luke: are you going to devour me?

Barbatos: Luke no

Simeon observes with Mc the chaos that has been unleashed in the Devildom thanks to the different gods.

Simeon: I never would have expected something like this...

Mc: the truth is that I do.

Simeon: and that all those stories were real ...

Mc: ... Simeon, dear, you are an angel, we are in the hell and I leve with seven demons, I've meet the death and here, our sorcerer friend lived for hundred of years... Are you really telling me this?

Simeon: sometimes I forget those details...

Mc: yeah, you should remember that I'm a human holy chicken.

Hestia: we have been able to help you?

Mc: yes, I appreciate that you brought the whole troop.

Hestia: ha ha, it has been interesting.

Mc: no one will dare to touch your flames now

Hestia: *kiss Mc's forehead* take care dear child, enjoy your live here and look for your friend, they are interesting creatures.

Mc: I'll do, my goodness.

Hestia: and don't forget where you come from.

Well, well, have I enjoyed writing this? I have enjoyed it, I am a lover of mythology,bI know Greek mythology the most, but I would love to learn more about other mythologies. All the scenarios that could be written... Thank you @shota-catziwa much for the suggestion, I would have liked to delve deeper into mc's relationship with the gods but my head doesn't give for more. I just hope you enjoy it even if it's a little bit.

I have an idea! A sequel to the "MC reunites with her/his Brother" headcanon! After the tearfull reunion the Brother gets introduced to everyone. The following night, when he thinks no one is looking, he tries to kill MC in her sleep for some reason. But the brothers stop her. Their, simeon's and Diavolo's reactions.

the second he sees what the guy is about to do, lucifer grabs him by the wrist and drags him to the basement

Mammon

'yo! what do ya think you're doing?' he screams really loudly, startling your brother and waking you up

before you could even process what was going on, you saw mammon pinning your brother down on the floor

mammon tells you to leave the room, because, in his words, 'shit's gonna get ugly'

Leviathan

levi can't believe what he's seeing

he doesn't know what to do, the only thing he knows is that he needs to act quickly

lucifer won't like this, but levi immediately summons lotan to take care of your brother, while the sea monster is doing its job, the usually shy levi carries you somewhere safe

Satan

your brother has a huge problem, satan is probably the last demon you want to encounter when trying to kill the sibling he cares about

satan is no lucifer or barbatos, but he has a wide knowledge on torture methods, he just learned some new little tricks from a book too!

he'll test those out on your brother, then

Asmodeus

asmo screams really loudly at your brother when he catches him, causing you to wake up too

violence isn't really his style, so he won't physically hurt your brother, but mentally is another case

as you know, asmo has tons of fans, if they all turned against your brother, he'd never be free from hate and slander

Beelzebub

he absolutely hates what he sees, beel was so happy you're reunited with your sibling again but that dude pulls this?

beel can't forgive that, he grabs your brother from behind and carries him to barbatos' 'special rooms'

he leaves the punishing to barbatos, beel want to stay by your side for now, to help you digest what just happened

Belphegor

belphie thought he was seeing things wrong given how tired he was

he doesn't want to wake you up, so he drags your brother outside before using his tail to deal with him

but, belphie gets reminded of his horrible past action while doing it, so he lets your brother go, but warns him that if he ever sees him again, he'll kill him for real

Diavolo

diavolo grabs your brother by the wrist, stares into his eyes and asks what he's doing

your brother tries to run away, but diavolo is strong enough to hold him down

the prince calls his trusty butler 'barbatos, I found a new prisoner' before bringing your brother to the castle

Simeon

simeon steps in front of you, shielding your sleeping form from the attack

he really wants to do what lucifer would do, but it won't fit his image as an angel and it would set a terrible example for luke

he lets your brother go, and tells him to never find you again, but simeon will watch over you at all times just in case

Meanwhile...

Mammon

I know I'm being stupid. I shouldn't be following Simeon to his room after he blew up at us in the dining car. If he's anything like Satan, I might as well start digging my grave.

But I can't leave him alone. I don't know why; it's just a gut feeling that I have. Still, my gut has never led me astray. And I'm not talking about when its judgment is clouded by greed, but during situations like this one. You know, life and death sorta things.

I take a deep breath before opening the sliding door. Simeon's back is turned to me, appearing to look out the train window.

"Hello, Mammon." His voice sounds eerily calm, like how Lucifer gets sometimes right before he begins torturing people.

I can't flee. I have to see this through.

"Dude, what happened back there? I've never seen you react like that, not even during the war."

"That is none of your concern." Simeon slightly turns his head to the right. "Tell me, why did you feel the need to bully Luke?"

"That wasn't my original intention--"

"Answer the question."

"I will, if you'll let me finish!" Silence. "Look, I believe he needs to be taught how to relax. He's way too uptight. I mean, he can't even take a little joke! The kid's a real piece of work."

"It's only a joke when everyone involved finds it amusing."

"Well, I can't help wantin' to tease him sometimes! In some ways, he kinda reminds me of myself when I was that age."

"Oh, really?" Simeon doesn't believe me.

"Seriously?! Don't you remember what I was like once upon a time?"

"A nuisance?"

"Naive, Simeon. I was that lost puppy. Cute, friendly, energetic, but incredibly oblivious to what the real world was like. I mean, isn't that why you guys are sendin' him to the Devildom and human world in the first place?" He sighs.

"Yes."

"It's almost been three years, and yet from this side of things he hasn't learned jackshit. He's still convinced that the way angels do things is the right way. He doesn't wanna even consider that he could be wrong."

"Oh, like you're doing much better," Simeon snaps.

"At least I'm doing something! You're just standing around and waiting for Luke to discover the world on his own. He needs guidance! And sometimes that means forcing him to experience new things whether he likes it or not!"

"And who are they going to blame when shit hits the fan, Mammon?" Simeon's facing me now, staring daggers into my face. "You were in charge of MC during the exchange program; what would have happened if a demon decided to have them for lunch during their first ever week in the Devildom?"

"The demon would get in trouble, obviously. But I'm not sure what this has to do with Luke--"

"Do you wanna know what else would have happened?" I'm not going to get another word in until he's done ranting, am I?

"People would have begun asking questions," Simeon quickly continues. "'Where was Mammon at the time?' 'Why didn't he stop the demon from eating MC?' And if you weren't able to come up with acceptable answers to those questions, your ass would have been on the line, because you failed to do your job.

"Oh, maybe you'd escape with a light punishment. After all, you have friends in high places that can bail you out of trouble. But what if you used up all your chances? What if protecting MC and ensuring they survived the exchange program was the one thing that would save you from a fate worse than death? What would you do then, Mammon?"

Oh my God...I knew he'd gotten demoted due to his lack of cooperation during the early stages of the war, but I didn't realize he was that close to being sent there. It's the one place in the Devildom that the Celestial Realm has control over, and it's usually reserved for the worst of the worst. The truly irredeemable.

And he's right. Being sentenced there is a fate worse than death.

"Simeon, I'm sorry. I...I didn't know." I walk over to him and tentatively hover my hand over his shoulder. He remains still, allowing me to rest my hand on there.

"Only Michael and Raphael do," he whispers. "They were the ones that offered me the guardianship over Luke. If anything happens to him, they won't show me mercy again, especially in light of them discovering that fucking notebook."

"You know Lord Diavolo would take you in." Simeon shakes his head.

"I don't want to spend the rest of my existence serving him." He pauses. "I'm sure he's a kind master, but he still rules over you guys. I want to be under my own power."

"What about MC?" The question slips out of my mouth, causing a corner of Simeon's to curve up slightly.

"That is an arrangement I'd prefer to keep between me and them."

based off of what we saw of simeon in the new lesson, i think that

1. he knows about alternate timelines and possibly altering your future

2. he didn't know if he'd become a demon or a human after his fall, and he didn't know when or how

3. he knew about the celestial war and its outcome to some extent

4. he blames himself for the fall of lucifer and his brothers (duh), and up until he actually lost his wings, he thought he'd avoided the possibility altogether

there's no way simeon can't tell that mc is a human

lucifer knew that mc and little d were strange, and they're powerful enough to be able to tell that their auras aren't angelic in the slightest - especially little d's

unless you count mc's very very very distant blood relation to lilith and luke's blessing, there's probably no trace of anything even remotely related to an angel anywhere on them

there's no way simeon could meet this version of mc that far in the future without some kind of time travel or timeline manipulation

he's too smart not to pick up on that fact

he doesn't seem worried about losing his wings

at all

mammon, on the other hand, is terrified at the thought of someone he's close to losing his wings and probably wouldn't even entertain the thought of losing his own wings

not until the war, at least

simeon didn't go into detail about how he'd meey mc in the future, nor did he go into detail about when or how he's lose his wings

he brought it up almost out of nowhere

mammon was expecting some lighthearted prophecy similar to meeting someone from your past in another time, and finding out that simeon might experience something as jarring as losing his wings made him want to change the subject almost as soon as he heard it

losing his wings was probably the least terrifying thing he read in that prophecy book, especially since whether or not it would happen and whether or not he'd face a fate worse than death were extremely unclear

war is hardly ever unclear, though

and his apparent involvement in it probably made him think that joining lucifer's side would cause him to lose his wings

when the time came for him to pick sides, he was too afraid of disobeying his father and making every prophecy in the book come true, he wanted his future to be his and his alone

he thought he could prevent the war, or at least hold off on it for a little longer - we all know that he knew it was coming whether he wanted it to or not

but when the time came to talk to lucifer, he couldn't bring himself to do it

he knew something was on his brother's mind, and there's no way there wasn't gossip around the celestial realm about tension between one of the most powerful angels, the 6 angels he looked after, and their father

but he wasn't ready to face the fact that war was coming sooner than he anticipated

so he did what most other angels did and sided with the celestial realm

and then, the fall still happened, but he wasn't involved

and he was able to see the way that despite falling from grace and becoming everything they were told to hate, lucifer and his brothers were still thriving

he thought that maybe, just maybe, falling from grace wouldn't be so bad

but he also thought that with the end of the war, his chance of falling was over

that's why he's so accepting and carefree and less stuck-up than the rest of the angels, so much so that he'd forgotten about the part of the prophecy that said he'd meet mc again

not only did he emotionally fall for mc when he met them again, he literally ended his life as an angel for them by stealing lucifer's ring from the celestial realm

but after seeing how unburdened the rest of his brothers were after their fall, he'd follow them without hesitation anyways if it meant feeling the same kind of freedom

Welcome! To this adventure! The characters may not be how you imagine! I apologize for any poor jokes, bad spelling, and terrible grammar. Without further ado, please enjoy the content. ♡

⚠︎Caution: Spoiler Post⚠︎ (no specific chapters could be spoilers for both OG and NB)

CW: Angst, Luke being cast down to the Devildom talk, could be spoiler talk, lemme know if I missed any!

The possibility that Luke may one day fall, is not a possibility talked about often, we probably just don't want to think about that happening to Luke, but I'm here to crush our dreams! I'm going to talk about three situations I think could cause Luke to fall, or begin to lose complete faith.

Situation #1: We all know Luke's considered a young angel, a child really. The Celestial Realm takes a chance sending an Angel that young down to the Devildom on multiple occasions, but Luke is trusted in the hands of Simeon, and Luke has great potential to become an amazing Angel, that's why he's sent down, a test almost, pass and he'll grow into an admirable Angel. Luke's young age could be a good thing, he's in a really influential part of his life....That being said, Luke's age could be his downfall. People at a young age tend to be more trusting and make irrational decisions because they usually don't stop to think. Luke may say he doesn't like demons, but after enough influence from a demon or just being around them, Luke begins to like the demon, all the demon characters are a good example of that, Luke seemingly even has a friendship with Mephistopheles. Now angels can be friendly, and are allowed to see the good in people, even demons, but Luke has to see some of the demon characters as almost family. Angels are all family, brothers or whatever, so I'd assume after getting close enough with a demon, Luke may begin to see a demon in that light. Luke spends hours and hours with Barbatos, learning to bake and just having tea or whatever, you can't tell me Luke doesn't have some sort of an attachment to Barbatos. I'm not saying any of the characters or even any demon at all influences Luke specifically to make him fall. But Luke could slowly pick up on demon tendencies and then he could make a mistake and mess up too much. Kids make mistakes, I could see Luke doing something he thinks is good and angelic, make a mistake that can't be fixed and then get cast down for it. Luke's got lots of potential and could be a powerful angel, but with how they talk he's currently not too powerful, so The Celestial Realm probably wouldn't be too upset to lose him, and wouldn't give him as many slip ups as they do some. Truthfully I don't see this situation happening or being the reason Luke falls if he ever does, but it's a possibility I've thought of.

Situation #2: Everyone knows that Luke and Simeon are close, Simeon's a really important figure in Luke's life, almost like a father figure. Some know that Simeon is struggling, he's on the brink of being cast down or losing faith. Truthfully I think The Celestial Realm just doesn't want to cast down another powerful angel since they make such a big deal about balanced power or having more power than the Devildom, casting Simeon down would give the Devildom even more power. If Simeon got cast down, depending on the reason, Luke may see The Celestial Realm as the bad guy. Simeon would probably even disagree and defend The Celestial Realm's choice, but that would mostly only confuse and anger the young angel more. I mean if Simeon's still defending The Celestial Realm even after being cast down then that shows he's an amazing Angel! I also think that since the Devildom would most likely accept Simeon in. I mean yes it's said that supposedly Simeon and Diavolo don't really like each other, but I think they grow a little fond of each other over time. Truthfully Diavolo would just accept Simeon for the reason The Celestial Realm doesn't want to give him away, more power, any good ruler wants it. Whatever the reason The Celestial Realm accepts Simeon in could be another reason Luke starts to see The Celestial Realm in a bad light. Luke's heard how bad demons are his entire life, and then he gets to watch his father figure/mentor be accepted in basically as family. Luke already sees them as a weird fake family, he spent over a year and more in the Devildom, everyone he interacted with often he became extremely close with. Watching those individuals he considers a close family or friend, accept Simeon in when the people that are supposed to be Simeon's literal "brothers" cast him out, wouldn't make The Celestial Realm's actions look good to Luke. This belief that The Celestial Realm is in the wrong, that its action was bad could lead to lack of faith, which can lead to a gradual downfall. I also feel like Luke really wouldn't fit in much without Simeon around, yeah he knows Michael and Raphael, but he probably isn't close with too many Angels. Luke's been sent all over, the Devildom, the human world, he's never in the Celestial Realm making friends. If Simeon fell Luke may feel outcasted, which could cause him to fall faster. This situation could happen if you think The Celestial Realm will cast Simeon down one day. I sadly think Luke has a chance of falling if this happens. I like the stories where Luke doesn't fall though, that just Simeon does, but it could be a chain cycle for the two.

Situation #3: Mc. Mc is Mc they have an effect on like every character they meet. Luke and Mc are close, if Mc befriends him and doesn't bully him, which is true for this situation, Luke has said multiple times that Mc's his best friend, and Luke became Mc's guardian angel. Simeon did too but that's not important right now. Luke and Mc have this undeniable bond, some would call it a friendship, some would call it more a parental figure, whichever one it is doesn't matter. What matters is that Luke has this unmistakably important bond with Mc just as every other character does. So say The Celestial Realm one day wanted Mc to disappear from everyone's lives..or maybe existence completely, Luke like every other character would most likely have a problem with that. Luke wouldn't understand The Celestial Realm's reasoning of Mc is dangerous, he doesn't see like The Celestial Realm sees, that Mc has some of the most important and powerful figures in the three worlds wrapped around their finger. Now if The Celestial Realm did try and do something to Mc that'd be incredibly stupid, and they would be asking for a war, but say for some reason they still tried anyways, Luke may end up being cast down for trying to protect Mc. Luke would be considered fighting for the enemy then, not to mention it would be going against "father's orders". The probability of Luke being cast down in a situation like this is incredibly high, even if he thinks he's doing the right thing and protecting his friend. This situation could happen but it would be a really dumb move and probably a last resort move from The Celestial Realm. I could see Luke falling if the situation did happen though.

"This was originally a reply to something someone said on one of my posts but I liked it so much it spawned into it's own thing, so I deleted the original reply and here we are"

Oh, I absolutely don't think there's going to be a war arc and I've said so in a previous post - that's (at the end of the day) NOT the kind of game OM! is

When I say the War is "inevitable" I mean it in the context of the characters who are "living through" this situation, not in the context of us, the readers, from our outside perspective.

Characters like Solomon, Michael and even MC have expressed that they think this will all crash down into another war.

In other words, while characters in the game may see it as an inevitability, the people reading it who have outside knowledge about everything going on, knows that's complete bullshit

and both the original post and this are definitely NOT meant to be a bad faith reading of Michael either

I think he's a morally grey character, in that he's done equally good and bad things, but ultimately, even the bad things are done for the greater good

Furthermore:

• Luke obviously cares about him

• Mammon says that he probably sent Luke to the human world in the og timeline, so that Luke can move past his narrow minded view of demons

• He clearly still cares for Lucifer and even the others

• Even after he turns Simeon human, Simeon still has faith in him and says that even when others can't understand why he does something he usually does it because he has a plan/for the greater good

• Despite initially thinking MC was "wicked" and also complaining about MC the last time, he still helps them even when he doesn't need to

• I also see Michael as being a pretty obvious counterpart to Diavolo, from the jovial almost childish excitement/personality to the ulterior motives to the long-suffering attendant trying to reign him in

1.) That being said, you can't deny that the racism between The Celestial Realm and The Devildom is a pretty big thing (literally one of the biggest parts of the plot is about trying to move past that).

We've seen it from both sides, and it's definitely something they all have to unlearn

We saw what Lucifer was like as an angel, how he treated the Devildom and Diavolo, and how even over the course of the glory days devilgram, by interacting with Diavolo he started unlearning some of those prejudices

Og timeline Michael has clearly already gone through this process, as he is actively encouraging Luke to go through it as well

Nightbringer timeline Michael has not. We see it in how desperately he tries to get Luke & Simeon back home and obviously because this is his first time in the Devildom and, presumably, his first time interacting with demons in a friendly/neutral context

When you have prejudices like this you never know it's something that's bad or untrue (and om shows this as well) until they start getting challenged. RAD is the perfect opportunity for this to happen to Michael

And he really isn't going to see it coming until he's already started to change

2.) When Michael says "balance" he's saying that he wants the brothers back in the Celestial Realm to restore balance. Because with them acting as leaders in the Devildom, it makes the Devildom stronger than the Celestial Realm.

I'm not saying he wants to start a war, or to subjugate anyone, he very much wants there to be peace/or at least no fighting.

But he also wants that to be by the Celestial Realm and Devildom being at an equal power level again aka the brothers going back

He also straight up says he wants MC to tell them to come back because without balance the war could start up again (specially because he said the celestial realm would then consider the devildom as a hostile party again) and the human world would get destroyed.

Like you said, he's most probably right that the human world will get destroyed in the case of a war but what he said to MC is still very much a threat.

He says, "do this for me because if not the actions my realm has promised to take will lead to your world being destroyed"

You could say that he does not truly mean it when he says he'll consider the Celestial Realm a hostile party again should the brothers not return BUT even if that were true

that is not a statement you can just lightly say, specially not to the people you have just come out of a war with, specially not to the leader of those people when you're acting as a political representative of your people

That is also very much a threat

3.) About how angels vs demons see humans,

Solomon said they both saw humans as something to be protected, while angels still kept away from humans and demons still ate them, but that they also didn't see humans as their equals

And I basically made a long post about how,

Angels probably saw humans; the way we see endangered animals, that must be loved and protected but not interacted with

While demons saw humans; the way we see domenstic, farm animals that can be loved and protected but also taken for food

Since humans are obviously sentient and intelligent beings (eh...) neither of these two views are good

4.) Personally the way I see it:

Michael, like Solomon and Lucifer, is a complex character, who has done bad/shady things for what they believe is the greater good

To get the full effect of him (and others like him...and really any of them) as a character:

You can't colour them only in shades of black and white

The same way you can't say that Michael is a character who has done only ""evil"" things you also can't turn a blind eye to the implications and consequences of what he has said and done

5.) He's done good things, he's done shitty things - the thing he did lately, about demanding the brothers come home and leveraging the continuned peace between the two realms, only a year after they left, after their sister was killed by the angels, after their sister was threatened with being banished for loving/helping a human was a shitty thing (in my perspective)

And, unlike og timeline Michael, nightbringer timeline Michael probably still has a lot of growing to do

And so the original post came frome a place of:

"Haha he's going to be hit by the same fucking train that got Lucifer and Luke and he's going to be just as bamboozled by it"

Overall, Michael's a character I'm very excited to meet (let him have long hair pls solmare you have no idea how much this means to me), I don't dislike him and (like with all my posts) every point I bring up as evidence and every point I use to build up a theory is picked up straight from canon (because I'm too lazy to come up with my own shit🫠), I genuinely like every character in om (yes even Mephisto despite clowning on him at any given opportunity) and so try to be objective when forming theories about them or trying to discern their thought processes and actions (and I'm not always successful because mammon exists and I'm an idiot🤡)
