While I’m talking about the Sequel Trilogy, I’m gonna talk about what I think was the second biggest waste of potential in the trilogy: The Knights of Ren.
Ex-Padawans who become disillusioned and join Kylo, but they still respect most of their teachings. They still have their lightsabers and haven’t bled their crystals (which makes Snoke suspicious of them, but Kylo has a strong relationship with them, taking them out of the picture would be unwise).
In my AU for the Sequels, Kylo would train to be a Sith Lord in TRoS. He would travel to Korriban and have the ghost of Darth Bane teach him the ways of the Sith, making him go on a journey much akin to that of Yoda’s in TCW.
The Knights of Ren HATE the Sith because they still remember their Jedi training and don’t want another Empire. Kylo ends up killing them all for one of his tests on Korriban, ensuring that he will become a Sith Lord.

Topic Idea based on Coco x Jaune Househusband: Jaune being asked to be the house husband of Winter?
Jaune's Apartment
*Ding Dong!*
Jaune: *Opens the door* Oh Winter! I'm glad you came.
Winter: No problem, thanks for inviting me to your get together. (This way I can see if you are worthy of my little sister)
Jaune: Thanks to you for coming, please come in.
Winter enters and sees that she is the first to arrive.
Jaune: The others don't take long to arrive. At the moment can I offer you something? Water, lemonade, um… Beer? I don't know if you drink or not.
Winter: *She keeps looking around* A lemonade is fine.
Jaune: Great, just a moment.
Winter: (He's attentive, that's good. Good start Jaune, good start)
While Jaune prepares the drink, Winter begins to inspect everything. He checks the furniture for dust, the windows for dirt, and even the floor for a hint of trash. But nothing, everything is clean. As if it were done by a professional.
Winter: (His apartment looks clean. My little sister would be comfortable living here.)
Jaune: Here is your lemonade.
He says as he approaches her to hand it to her.
Winter: *takes the glass* Thank you. By the way, who do you hire to clean your apartment?
Jaune: Nobody, I do everything myself.
Winter: Wait, you cleaned this apartment squeaky clean? You alone?
Jaune: Yes, it's something I learned living with 7 sisters. They really were a pain in the ass when it came to cleaning.
Winter: *Surprise* Wait, you were in charge of your household chores?
Jaune: Yeah, I was the one who cleaned the house, did the laundry, and even cooked.
Winter: *Curious* But your mom helped you, right? (It can't be possible for him to do everything alone.) *She puts her glass cup on a nearby table*
Jaune: Ahaha… *he laughs nervously*. Well, she's not very good at chores, so to speak. My dad and I were the ones who kept the house clean. But my dad works, so I did most of it.
Winter: (Wait so...) *Gets closer* So you know how to clean stains?!
Jaune: Ye-Yeah
Winter: *Closer* How about bathtub stains?!
Jaune: *Trying to move away* Th-That too
Winter: *Closer!* How about sewing?! Do you know how to do that too?!
Jaune: *Against the wall* M-My sisters always ripped their favorite clothes, so y-yeah.
Winter: (Oh my God! He is the perfect househusband! Weiss would be…! Weiss? Why does Weiss deserve such a man?)
Jaune: Um..Winter?
Winter: *Back to reality* Huh?
Jaune: Y-You are too close
Winter: Too close? *Gasp!* (Too close to my destiny!)
She takes both of Jaune's hands, drops to one knee, and with a voice of desire and hope she says.
Winter: Jaune Arc…
Jaune: *confuse* What are you doing?
Winter: would you marry me?
Jaune: *Red* Eh?!
At the time Winter said that, Nora and Ren were already entering the apartment using the extra key that Jaune gave them.
Nora: Hey Jaune, we brought the…
The two groups stare at each other
Nora: We'll come back later.
She says as she starts to close the door to leave them alone. But Jaune runs towards them and stops them.
Jaune: I-It's not what it looks like! There's nothing going on between us!!!
Winter: *Looking at him with desire* (Yet~💕)
---------
I look at Winter as a person who focuses on her work and family first before herself, and looks for the most efficient. That's why she looks for the best candidate for her sister. But what if that candidate is great for her? Love may not be the most important thing to her, but it's not something she's not willing to try~

A Fond Farewell
With Rooster Teeth beginning its draw down, an era has truly passed. The company has lasted more than two decades. 18 (soon 19) seasons, five mini-series, and cameos and references in Halo itself for Red vs Blue. 9 volumes alongside two movies, a chibi series, Ice Queendom, and its own games for RWBY. And so much more beyond that, RT Shorts, podcasts, Achievement Hunter, The Slow Mo Guys, and on and on. That’s a lot, especially for a little startup launching off a web series. I was listening to “This Isn’t Goodbye, It’s See You Later” by Richie Branson while I was making this little memorial post. It’s a song made for another Rooster Teeth show, Camp Camp, and I have to say it’s some very appropriate music for this moment.
The day the news dropped, I wrote up a little comment in response to Rooster Teeth beginning its closing down, and I thought I’d share some of it here. I grew up with Rooster Teeth, a bit of a cheesy line I know, but it’s true for a lot of us. I was just a little kid way back in the early 2000’s, a kid that liked Halo (a game I didn’t even own for a long time, but played at a friend’s house), and was just getting curious about what I could find about it on YouTube. And that brought me into the world of music videos and skits and montages made for that little game I liked.
From there, I discovered a small web series called Red vs. Blue. I’d sneak onto my folk’s computer to watch it since they didn’t appreciate the language, and in doing so I dipped my toes into the wide world of the internet for the first time. As I got older, I eventually hopped onto Reddit for its discussion threads of Rooster Teeth’s latest show, RWBY. I began my first in-depth fandom interactions, speculating about the show, enjoying the flood of fanart, even got into fanfics about RWBY (those fics have had their own amazing evolution alongside the show) and to this day it’s the fandom I’ve followed and bookmarked the most fics from. All the while I was making friends and bonding with people through the community this company and its shows have created.
Watching the shows and people grow over time was, looking back on it, just like watching myself grow. I was never really a social media/internet kind of guy, until it came to Rooster Teeth. The shows, shorts, podcasts, it all opened up a whole new world for me. It’s sad to see it coming to a close, and I hope it gets picked up in the future. But I’m happy, too, that it’s left so much behind, and had such an impact on me. It’s left me with so many good memories. Rooster Teeth, its shows, those that created and worked on it, and above all the community around it will always have a special place in my heart.
So, I bid a fond farewell to Rooster Teeth and its crew, and anyone who may drift away from the fandom in time. I wish you all the best.
