They arrived before the ban, followed my team’s lead, and respected the wishes of my team as well as the city. They proved to be good allies. You and your group on the other hand, ignored and denied our requests and now want to come in and do damage control. Now you leave, or we will make you.”

MLB X MCU AU in which Marinette gets revealed as Multimouse to the entire world

Because Alya cant be trusted to be responsible with a camera.

Every-fucking-one knows now. hawkmoth. her PARENTS. Hell even TONY fucking STARK knows she was a hero.

and then her parents make/force her to take Style queens offer to intern in NYC, because, from their perspective she is not safe in paris. and like- the AVENGERS are in new york so surely it must be safe there. so they pack up and move their entire bakery business.

and she ends up going to midtown high-school, where not to her knowledge, fellow teenage superhero Peter parker aka "Your friendly neighborhood SPIDER-MAN" goes to school.

Cute adorable shipping commences.

peter is all like "omg another teenage super hero???!!! like me???? i thought i was the only one???? transferring to MY school?!!! SO COOL!!"

"marinette is super smart, marinette is pretty, she was one of THE Miraculous Ladybug's sidekicks how cool is that??!, marinette is COOL!! maybe we can be friends? how am i gonna talk to someone that cool though?? i cant tell her my secret identity!!!"

It would be canon compliant till season 2 and most? of season 3? but like fuck miracle queen, season3 finale + truth made me stop watching the show. so like in this au, lets just assume Fu is dead, and ladybug has had the miracle box for some time now. and that they got the miraculous when they were 13, and are currently 15? yeah? okay.

(also prolly chat salt, it doesn't HAVE to be chat salt, but like- He. Keeps. Trying. To. Quit. And leave all the work to marinette!!!! its happened like 3?? times now? Marinette CANT quit!!! its literally "do this or lose all your memories!!!" she is being held hostage by a fucking magic box full of responsibilities no 15 year old should have to deal with.)

I headcanon that marinette stress-bakes, so like cute scene number #1 after peter and marinette become friends, could be something like "marientte stresses for a test, and then bakes to much food so her parents make her take it to school to share with her peers, and she ends up giving like- 1/2 of them to parker, becuz of his super high metabolism.

and how marinettes got her whole "i'm RESPONISBLE!!! for the whole fucking universe now, omfg i'm the reason fu is basically dead" angsty shit going on which kinda parallels peters whole "i have super powers, and if i dont do something to help then its my fault if someone gets hurt, like how my uncle died. With great power, comes great RESPONSIBLITY!!!" angst. maybe they could trauma bond. who doesn't like a good hurt comfort trauma bond fic?

marinette likes designing fashionable but also functional clothes.

peter likes designing gadgets and techy things. let them be nerds together!!! in love!!

i feel like they would be the kind of couple/friends to just ramble on about their passions and they would listen to each other even tho they dont know much about each others interests yet. (also hey what if marinette and peter co designed one of peters early suits pre-stark suit??? the fucking writing potential this ship has omfg c'mon ppl!!! why are we sleeping on this??)

oh! and maybe peter figures out that marinette is also ladybug -but later on- cuz like, he has superhearing? and tikki isn't as subtle as she thinks she is.

( the media thinks Ladybug and Chat are 1000+ years old due to that thing alya found in that museum that one time. and the fact that people know that Thor and Loki are super old.

Ladybug's excuse to the public for letting a teenager, Nay! for letting a THIRTEEN YEAR OLD CHILD use an extremly dangerous magical artifact for a little over 2 years, goes something like this: "Marinette was the ONLY person in france- maybe in the whole world! that was compatible with the Rat miraculous, it takes a very smart person to be able to multitask like that, and marinette has a photographic/phonetic memory."

i headcannon that marinette photographic/phonetic memory, and that the Rat Miraculous is the math miraculous that was mentioned in the comics that one time, and that if an incompatible person were to try and use it they would at BEST develop a severe case of split personality disorder/ or schizophrenia, and at WORST their brain would- just- melt out of their ears. )

Also he calls her "Spots" or "LuckyBug" when shes in hero mode.

(i cant think of cute nicknames for peter, ugh "web head" is just something i cant picture marinette saying. what's the french word for spider? what's the french word for cobwebs??)

with great power comes great responsibility

Tim had always been a huge superhero fan, even after he became one himself. As a kid, they’d been his escape, and nothing could change that. He’d looked up to and practically worshipped the real-life heroes in his world, but fictional ones? He loved them even more if that was even possible.

He loved the way that they were both so human (even if they weren’t really human) and so incredibly unrealistic power-wise. The MARVEL universe had always been his favourite, in any form. He’d devoured the comics, the movies, and the TV shows. He loved them all.

He loved how the mutants in MARVEL were so similar to metahumans in his own world. Both groups struggled with discrimination, both had good and bad individuals with gifts, and their gifts come from genetic mutants that people were born with.

He loved the Avengers and how their group reflected the Justice League. Iron Man was a bit of a play on the little that was known on Batman; Thor was a Norse, male version of Wonder Woman; Dr. Strange was a play on Zatanna; Hawkeye was clearly a less rich version of Green Arrow. Of course, not all of the MARVEL characters were based on real-world superheroes and issues, but Tim always found it more enjoyable when they were.

But his real favourite character was Spider-Man. He’d never once been able to pick out any one reason for that, but no other character could compare in his opinion. Maybe it was his age, maybe it was the fact that he’d fought to become a hero at a young age just like Tim, maybe it was all the different versions of Spider-Man. But either way, Tim truly loved the character.

That was why the Ultimate Spider-Man TV show was his favourite. That and the plots and the cameos from other MARVEL characters and the humour. Maybe the show in general just stood out to him. However, that didn’t matter. What did matter was it was his favourite TV show and he’d just found out that his girlfriend hadn’t watched it.

“You haven’t seen Ultimate Spider-Man?” He’d asked, completely bewildered. Marinette had always loved superheroes, or so he thought. He would have thought that she’d have watched it.

“Non,” she replied, “I haven’t watched many superhero films or TV shows. Real life was crazy enough in Paris, we didn’t need to watch the TV shows.”

“I suppose that is fair. Not much could top the stupidity that was the Bubbler or any of the many times Mr. Pigeon was akumatized,” he admitted. That was fair. At least half the akumatized villains Paris had dealt with during Hawkmoth’s reign felt like they could have been from a comic book or TV show or film without an issue. That’s why it had taken so long for the Justice League to offer aid to the Parisian superheroes. “Would you like to watch it with me now?”

Marinette laughed lightly. That was such a Tim thing to do. “Sure, I’ll watch it with you.”

“Yay!”

“But,” she started, upon hearing his automatic cheer, “you only get five episodes to try to convert me before I make my judgement. Do we have a deal?” She held her hand out for him to shake if he was going to accept.

He paused. Only five episodes? Would that be enough? He supposed he’d have to work with what he had been given. “Alright. We have a deal.” He shook her hand.

“You set it up and I get the popcorn?”

“Sure,” he said quietly, not wanting her to change her mind. He loaded up Disney+ on the TV and found Ultimate Spider-Man in the Spider-Verse section of the MARVEL page on the streaming service.

“You ready?” He asked as his girlfriend handed him a bowl of popcorn and sat down next to him.

“Oh go on then,” she sighed, clearly faking her annoyed reaction as the smile on her face was as bright as a day in Paris.

He pressed play.

Jonah Jameson: “I know you’re out there you wall-crawling menace! It is the duty of every New Yorker to report the actions of these masked miscreants! So listen up: As long as J. Jonah Jameson is CEO of Daily Bugle Communications, I won’t rest until New York has seen the last of Spider-Man!”

...

Nick Fury: “With great power, comes great responsibility. Good words from a good man.”

Spider-Man: “Uncle Ben was the best.”

Nick Fury: “It’s been what? A year now?”

“What happened to Uncle Ben?” She asked.

“He was killed in a robbery gone wrong,” Tim informed her. “Peter was there and couldn’t help, blamed himself and became Spider-Man.”

“Well that’s awful,” she commented. Her heart ached for the young boy, fictional as he was.

...

Nick Fury: “I want to S.H.I.E.L.D. train you to be a better Spider-Man. The Ultimate Spider-Man.”

...

Dr. Otto Octavius: “Impressed, Mr. Osborn?”

Norman Osborn: “Very, Octavius. More than ever, I’m convinced Spider-Man is the key to military superiority. Once I replicate his abilities, I’ll market an army of spider-enhanced super soldiers to the highest bidder. Nick Fury is a fool to think he can get Spider-Man to work for S.H.I.E.L.D. I prefer Spider-Man the way he is. Headstrong, undisciplined, easy to anger.”

Dr. Otto Octavius: “And easier to turn. I’ll inform our remaining allies to begin phase two.”

“Those two seem nasty,” she muttered under her breath. Only getting a hum in response from Tim.

They must be very important then, she guessed if he didn’t want to confirm anything about them. Could they possibly be the big villains of the season? Maybe.

...

Wizard: “Warning students. Your principal has something to tell you.”

Principal: “Students. Your attention, please. Your school is now under the control of the … the …”

Thundra: “The Frightful Four.”

Mary Jane Watson: “Uh, there’s only three of you.”

Marinette laughed at that. Maybe this show wasn’t too bad. She could definitely- maybe, see herself enjoying it. It was definitely funny.

Sure it was a bit childish with all the narrating and stuff, but it had originally been a kids’ show. Maybe that was the beauty of it. She definitely liked this show.

...

Jonah Jameson: “In a shocking betrayal of the justice system he claims to uphold. Spider-Man, today, led known super-criminals in an attack on innocent school children. Believe me, ladies and gentlemen, it gives this humble commentator less pleasure. I imagine to say: I told you so. It is the opinion of Daily Bugle Communications that the police should issue a warrant for Spider-Man’s arrest! And that nothing less than deadly force should be employed in the pursuit of Spider-Man!”

“Well he’s just a nasty piece of work,” she remarked at the news reporter’s announcement. “Spider-Man is just trying to help people and is getting slandered like this?”

Tim nodded, “Unfortunately that’s what happens to Spider-Man. In every single story, he gets unjustified hate from the press and the public.”

“Well, that’s unfair.”

...

Spider-Man: “Okay let’s do this. Put out the welcome mat S.H.I.E.L.D. Spidey’s come a callin’. Fury was right. With his help, I can do better. I’m done with this lonely loser routine. It’s time for me to step up and show the big boys what the Ultimate Spider-Man can do.”

...

Peter Parker: “Your friendly neighbourhood Ultimate Spider-Man, reporting for duty sir!”

Nick Fury: “Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D., Spider-Man. Hope you survive the experience.”

“How was that?” Tim asked once the first episode finished, anxious to hear what she thought.

“It was certainly something,” she replied carefully. Not wanting to give him any definite answers until she’d watched a few more episodes. Tim didn’t need any false hope. “It was enjoyable and I’ll certainly watch the next few episodes with you, but I refuse to give any further judgement until the end of episode five.”

“But-” Tim tried to argue, wanting to hear more about what his girlfriend thought about his favourite TV show of all time.

“But,” she interrupted, “we could try watching as much of the next four episodes as possible so I can tell you my thoughts after that.”

Tim sighed, “That’s the best I’m going to get, isn’t it?”

“Yep,” she replied with a smile on her face.

“We better get watching then.”

“We’d better,” she snuggled up close to him as he pressed play.

Throughout the next four episodes, which they totally didn’t binge-watch, Marinette and Tim made sure that they were always stocked up with popcorn. At the start of every episode, they would take turns with making some more. It probably wasn’t the most healthy thing to do, but at least it wasn’t coffee. Alfred would have had their heads if he found out that they’d drunk that much coffee in that little time.

They weren’t going to risk that.

When one of them wasn’t making popcorn, they were generally cuddled up together. That had been very nice. The pair of them had smiles plastered on their faces. They didn’t get to do stuff like this all that often - not with all the work they had to do and all the superheroing - so it was incredible to get the chance to relax and have some fun now.

When they got to the end of the fifth episode, Marinette faked a huge sigh. “I guess it wasn’t that bad,” she admitted.

“So you liked it?” an ever-curious Tim asked.

“I did,” she confirmed. “It was good. I’ll happily watch it with you anytime.”

Ladybug grinned. She’d been planning this for weeks.

Even since Tim had shown her the Ultimate Spider-Man, she’d wanted to surprise him somehow with some new knowledge on the character, so she’d started watching some of the other Spider-Man movies and TV shows. And when she’d watched the Toby Maguire films, she’d focused in on one scene that she thought Tim would love, probably did love.

The infamous upside-down kiss.

Ladybug and Red Robin had teamed up for patrol that night, and she’d lead him on a bit of a wild goose chase so that she could find the perfect spot to re-enact the kiss in question.

She jumped down to the ground from a building using her yoyo to control the landing. Tim followed her without question, presuming that she’d seen something down there for them to deal with.

Once Red Robin was down on the ground with her, she threw her yoyo up so it went around the house’s chimney before suspending herself upside down, hanging in the air.

“Do I get a kiss or what?” She asked cheekily.

“Oh go on then,” Tim responded jokingly, “I guess I can do that.”

He grinned, pulling her face close and kissing her.

“You’re the best,” he said playfully after they’d pulled away. “You know that right?”

She grinned, “I could have guessed that, but why don’t you kiss me again to show me?”

Tim laughed, “Deal.”

Marinette felt lost. So, so lost.

Her eyes stung with tears as she slammed the door to the bakery shut, seething with anger at the injustice of it all. God, why couldn't they all just see Lila for the liar she was?

The cold Parisian air bit at her skin as she stumbled through the silent streets, tears blurring her vision.

Why couldn't they just believe her? Have some faith in her?

Hurt rose in Marinette's heart again, tears leaking from her eyes, seemingly no end in sight. Sobbing, Marinette leaned onto a dirty alley's wall, sliding down until she pulled her knees to her chest.

Tipping up her head a little, Marinette allowed herself a few more minutes to cry before she began to put herself back together again, piece by piece. It wasn't too long before Marinette's tears dried up, leaving her eyes raw and emotionally exhausted.

She didn't really feel like going back home—not now, not ever—but she had no choice. Wiping a few stray tears, Marinette sighed as she looked up to the night sky, dotted with bright stars.

An old story her mother used to tell her—before things went to hell—rang in Marinette's head.

In the second star to the right, her mother would say, they say there is a land where time does not exist.

Neverland. That was it. That was the name.

Marinette's eyes automatically searched for the star before she shook herself, laughing slightly at her stupidity. It was a fairytale which meant it wasn't real. Why was she looking for it then?

But what if it did exist? After all, in every fairytale there was a grain of truth—otherwise, it wouldn't exist at all.

Scoffing at her thoughts, Marinette turned around, back the way she came, resignedly making her way back to the bakery. Her fists clenched at the thought of its inhabitants and returning to their toxic influence, but she had no choice.

Without them, Marinette was utterly lost, with nowhere to live and no support system.

Although, if her parents had actually done their job properly, Marinette wouldn't find herself in need of one. She laughed bitterly at the thought, wandering in the depths of her mind whether it was her fault they no longer loved her.

Objectively, she knew Lila was the source of her misery, estranging her from everyone she had ever loved. But parts of Marinette couldn't help but torment her mind, whispering possibilities that the reason Marinette's parents no longer loved her was because of her.

Marinette was so lost in thought, that she didn't notice the shadow until it had her wrapped in its arms, covering her mouth tightly to avoid any noise of her scream.

As soon as she felt arms wrapping themselves around her waist, Marinette's heartbeat spiked, her self-defence training kicking into action at once.

Her first instinct was to scream, to call out help as loud as she could, but her assailant quickly took care of that, covering her mouth. Marinette elbowed them in the guts, but they just kept on moving as if it didn't even hurt them.

That didn't deter Marinette. She continued to struggle, kicking and punching whatever she could, hoping that it would slow her assailant down.

She was fighting so hard, that it took Marinette more than a few seconds to realise they weren't running anymore. Her breath caught in her throat as she saw the sight below her.

The twinkling lights from the city of Paris seemed so insignificant from the height she was currently at. If she squinted hard enough, Marinette could see lone individuals roaming the streets and couples kissing near the Seine.

The blowing of the chilly wind on Marinette's shoulders was a sharp reminder that she was being abducted, and once again, Marinette resumed her struggle.

This time, she caught her captor by surprise which was a good and bad thing. The good news was that she was released from their grip, but the bad news was that she was free-falling through the sky, probably falling to her death.

As the cold wind pinched her skin, Marinette steeled herself for the crushing impact of the Seine, but it never came.

Arms wrapped themselves around her waist—once again—and Marinette was being lifted into the sky again.

Finally deeming her attacker worthy of seeing her face, Marinette screamed loudly and ear-piercingly when she saw his—no, its—face. Pearly, luminescent eyes from a pitch-black face stared into her soul.

A hand rested itself on her head, and Marinette suddenly felt drowsy. The energy escaped from her limbs and she fell limp into the Shadow's arms, sleep and drowsiness taking over her senses.

The last thing Marinette saw was a star advancing closer and closer.

What the hell was going on, Jason thought irritably as the Lost Boys parted obediently for their leader. As soon as they had begun to wake up one by one, they had begun to crowd around a certain location in camp, whispers erupting from all of them.

The only reason Jason was taking an interest in it was because Tim had come to him running, saying something about someone new before taking off again.

Reaching the middle of the circle, Jasons schooled his expression into his best poker face before turning to what had caught the Boys' attention.

As soon as he laid eyes on her, Jason's eyes widened marginally. It was a girl. For the first time since Neverland was created, the Shadow had brought back a bloody girl.

Walking up to her, Jason nudged her hand with his toe, wondering if she was conscious.

Two seconds later, he found himself pinned to the grassy floor, his own trustworthy dagger pinned against his throat.

Blue eyes with a raging fire glared at him, and Jason felt the tip of his dagger on his throat, the smallest droplet of blood dripping out.

"Where am I?" The girl hissed, and Jason berated himself for being so foolish. But, if he was being honest, he couldn't help but enjoy the situation a little.

The dagger poked harder into his throat, and the girl looked like she was going to murder everyone on the island. "I said, where. Am. I."

Jason smirked at her, manipulating his magic to steal the dagger from her. Switching the positions, this time it was Jason pinning her to the ground.

"Welcome to Neverland," he said, looking at his newest game.

Making this post moreso for mutuals so they don't tag me in Batfam x Atsv posts that have Jason with Hobie as eachother's counterparts and then feel bad when i say i hate that concept but i really need to get it off my chest that i find it REALLY annoying and basic when superhero fans assume they'd be the duo.Yeah,obviously they'd be close friends,but sorry not sorry,if y'all bothered to read Jason's comics or pay any mind to Hobie as a whole instead of just the 'he's a punk dude' bits,you'd know that A)Hobie would think Jason's an absolute cringelord,not look up to him or immediately respect him and Jason'd have to proof himself to him and that B)Jason's Spiderfam bestie wouldn't be anyone other than Miles and same goes for Miles' Batfam bestie not being anyone other than Jason LMFAO.He's literally him when he was Robin so that'd be enough of a reason to instantly like him but on Miles' end Jason's basically Itsv!Peter B Parker with Aaron Davis' alignment so same logic but there's also how Jason's canonically a classical literature nerd and gamer,Miles' an artist and anime fan,they have the same taste in fast/junk food and flirting tactics and their lives both went to shit because the universe said so when they were 15.Also,Talia Al-Ghul and Rio Morales have the same vibe and you can quote me on that and i think if the comics had given Jason a 56 Gwen-adjacent love interest who was afrolatina then a lot of the problems in his writing would be fixed

Speaking of which-Have you guys not noticed how Miles is so good at making people better without even really trying and thus not at the cost of his own arcs or real personality and is instead just an aspect of him?Or how he's been shown as enjoying hanging out with older people,with even Gwen having a year on him?Or how Miles G literally has the Red Hood Era storyline(Sunshine softboy as a kid but turned into a goth asshole to cope with trauma and additional an anti-villain/vigilante/morally gray)?To throw some shade i know for a fact he makes a more fitting best friend and younger sibling for Jason than Roy Harper,Marinette Dupain-Cheng AND Danny Fenton do,the first for reasons i've said already,the last two because he'd never fuck with Bruce Wayne in his life and just knows him as that fakeout furry rich guy his older brother figure roasts sometimes and cons money out of to buy him gifts

And Jason would have someone he can geek out with and relate to for once and have legit reasons to want to turn good again because Miles made him see the good in the world again and at the same time Miles got taught to stop feeling for failing at things he tried his best at and that he can always just try again in different ways but always his own thing and Miles makes Jason feel like a kid again and Jason treats Miles like he's still a kid since HE IS and-Man,you see what i mean?They'd have the most interesting dynamic ever and frankly i think we all deserve to see it instead of 'He was a punk,he was also a punk,can i make it anymore obvious?'BLEHGH!!!!
