Platonic!Yandere!Damian x reader (GN)
Summary: Damian and you have to work on a project together and he realizes how you seem to be invisible to everyone else - how you want to be invisible - and something in him makes him want, no need, to figure out why...
! Minors Do Not Interact !
TW: Domestic abuse (not shown directly), planned kidnapping, Dark content, yandere, This is all fiction, I do not condone this
Day 4 of my Yandere Writetober, Tomorrow word is 'Golden' so if you have any ideas lemme know
Tumblr media
People did not think Damian was sentimental, most of all his family. If a person had an idea of who Damian was, but wasn’t close to him or hasn’t personally met him then they could probably still assume that in private he might be a bit more emotional than in public. This person would be wrong though. Sure, in private Damian might be a little more open and showed a few more emotions, but most of those were rage, pettiness and sarcasm. Damian was a lot of things, but definitely not sentimental. At least not usual. And then you came into his life.
From the moment he was born, Damian had a map of how exactly his life would be played out. Then he was brought to his family and the map changed. From wanting to become the next head of the League of Assassins, he now wanted to become the next Batman. He wanted to step up once his father needed to step down and take his rightful place as the head of the family. Alone.
Everyone and everything else that was a hindrance in that way - be it his age, school, villains, friends or even his own family - was just an obstacle on the map of his life. He thought you'd be just the same, a Problem to be taken care of and to leave behind. Just another annoying child in his class - which Bruce insisted he attend - that weren't fit for the reality of life he faced every single day. It was just typical that he had to be stuck with you working on a project for a class in which he had a grade to make up, because of too many absences. He didn't bother to question why you had to do the project, he just wanted to get it over with.
"I'll be doing the project - I doubt you could help anyways - and you can just put your name on it as well, then I don't have to bother with you," Damian sneered to you once class was disbanded, already more than done with you and with the situation. You seemed to turn into yourself and he recognized how shy and intimidated you were and if he had been just a tad more empathetic he'd feel bad. Damian rolled his eyes and turned to leave when your hand tugged on his uniform's blazer.
"Uhm... I-I'm sorry, but-but I'd really like to-to work on the project together, I-I really need this grade," you stuttered, your head lowered in shame, even though you had no real reason to be ashamed. Damian wanted to make a snide comment about how the project was definitely better off if he was doing it on his own, but something about how small and fragile you looked kept him from doing so.
That was the first detour from the life on his map. That moment of emotion that no one witnessed, not even you because of how your head was held down. And it was only the beginning. He scoffed at your request, but it wasn't truly malicious like before.
"Fine, but we'll do it at your place today after school, no discussion," Damian stated and left no room for arguments, turning around and leaving the room, not hearing your small sound of protest.
During the rest of the school day, Damian couldn't help but watch you from the corner of his eyes, he saw how you were hidden in your uniform, seemingly wanting to merge with the backdrop of the classroom, how you kept completely to yourself and seemingly managed to become completely invisible to anyone but him and some of your teachers.
So after school, he had to keep his eyes peeled open to see you come out since you really seemed to disappear between all the other students. He went over to you and told you to lead the way home, not bothering to offer to have Alfred drive the two of you since, for reasons he didn't understand himself, he wanted to spend the time with you alone. Detour number two.
The way to your home was spent in silence, Damian looking around sceptically and you turned into yourself like you always seemed to be. The route to your home took you out of the more or less safe and high-income neighbourhood of Gotham Academy to the less secure area not that different from the region around Crime Alley. He wondered how your parents were able to afford your tuition for Gotham Academy, but he knew that you were rather good in school so he figured you were on a scholarship.
When you finally arrived at a rundown apartment complex you brought him to a flat on the fifth story, carefully opening the door as if you were afraid of making any sound.
"I'm sorry if it's a bit messy," you mumbled vaguely in his direction as you carefully opened the door and Damian realized it was the first thing he had seen you say since you had asked him to let you work on the project as well. Then you lead him into the apartment and everything somewhat fell into place.
To say it was a bit messy was an understatement. There were empty bottles of beer, vodka, wine and all other kinds of alcoholic beverages, Damian even caught sight of some less legal substances, but he decided not to mention them aloud, already seeing based on the darkening colour of your face and the way you tried to avoid looking anywhere near him that you were highly ashamed and emberassed. Detour number three.
He saw how you looked through the open doors into the other - not cleaner - rooms and he could hear your relieved sigh when there was no one else in there with the two of you. Then you lead him into your room if one could call it a room, which had a size just barely big enough for a measly small bed, a box usually meant for laundry filled with your clothes and a small desk that looked like you had taken it from the side of the road. There was no chair or even a stool.
Damian noticed Jason's influence - much to his anger - when his first thought was that 'Harry Potter would feel bad for you'. His next thought was that you didn't deserve to live like that, that you deserved better. Detour number four brought him right off of the road like never before.
"Uhm... You-You can sit on the bed if that's okay, I'll-I'll sit on the floor, then we can work on the project," you spoke hesitantly and shuffled to sit on what little space was left on the floor, but was stopped when Damian pulled you to sit beside him on the bed.
"There's enough space here for both of us," he argued and turned to you. "But- uhm- we don't have any space for the project then."
You were right, he supposed, as he saw that both of you sitting on the bed were basically taking up all the mattress had to offer. He sighed and decided that he was already neck deep into whatever was happening so he might as well see where it was going.
"Then we won't do the project today," he stated in the same tone that left nothing up for discussion and you seemed almost relieved, "We can work on it tomorrow after school in the library."
"O-Okay, I'm sorry it's so-" You stopped in your tracks, seemingly on the verge of tears, and then gave it another go, "-I'm sorry you came here for nothing, I can lead you to the door."
"I'm not leaving yet," Damian said much to your surprise as he saw the shock displayed on your face, "first I want you to tell me what is going on here." He tried to tell himself that it was just his vigilante persona shining through, but deep inside he knew it was you that made him so curious about this situation.
"What do you mean?" you squeaked, obviously - but badly - trying to hide something. Damian let his instincts lead him as he quickly took your hand and pulled up your sleeve, he had been noticing how you were playing with it every time you were scared or ashamed. He wasn't all too surprised to see blue, purple, green and yellow splotches littered over the area, some bruises new, some old. You tried to pull your hand away, but Damian's grip stayed strong.
He pulled your hand even closer to him as he inspected the arm and asked: "Did your parents do that to you?" He looked up at your face and saw tears welling up in your eyes. It made you look even more fragile and delicate than he already thought you looked like throughout the day, but it also made this rage well up inside of Damian. How dare these people make you cry, how dare they hurt you. He wanted to rip them apart, wanted to make sure nothing and no one ever hurt you again.
"Tell me the truth, I will help you, I promise," Damian encouraged you and received a weak nod from you as your tears started to flow down your face in streaks. "Okay, give me a second, I'll be right back, don't worry." Damian used his blazer's sleeve to gently wipe away some of the tears - something that his family would believe to be a lie if you had told him about it - and got up to leave the room to call Alfred to come pick him and you up.
He told Alfred that he'd be inviting a friend for a sleepover, hanging up on a too-stunned-to-speak Alfred who was surely already on his way to inform Bruce of this new development, he didn't bother to tell him that he planned for it to be a more... permanent... sleepover.
You needed him, you needed him to protect you, to care for you, to make sure you never again had a reason to cry. You were such a pure, fragile soul, one that didn't deserve to be left alone in this cruel world, he was sure that once his father had met you he'd understand. He'd feel the same way. You'd be safe with them, they'd become your family, the family you deserved and needed.
And if Bruce didn't agree if Bruce told him that he was crazy, that he couldn't just take you away from your life, no matter how bad it was, and take over your entire existence... well, he had already become ready to derail his entire plan, had become ready to redraw the entire map of his life just for him to have you along, so he might as well return to his roots because he was sure his mother would be more than happy to take you in as long as it made Damian return...

dilf!bakugou fluff (/ω\) :.*+
Tumblr media
slightly pudgy cheeks flushed red with anger and tight vermilion peer up meeting your face of a sour mixture between regret and irritation. A heavy sigh fell from your lips, pinching the bridge of your nose.
"Now why on earth would you attack your classmate?"
A call from Kazu's third grade teacher surprised you, hearing that your eight year old assaulted another child at her school. To learn later that the boy stole another student's bag of chips, your child bravely stepped in, pouncing and punching him until separated.
"It's what dad told me to do mom! He said you're supposed to defend ci-vili-ans!" stomping a little while testing the last word on her tongue. You started to regret your decision to allow her to train a little with her father, thinking that it would help her be a little more responsible with her quirk.
You couldn't find the words to even begin to scold her, especially when her pout was so damn cute, ash blonde pigtails loosened from all your hard work this morning, tight lips replicating Katsuki's infamous scowl, plump little fist wave back and forth as she desperately tries to explain herself. No, you weren't strong enough to scold her.
But maybe someone else is.
୨୧
Crayola crayons fall onto the wooden table as soon as heavy boots come barreling through the door. Soft little paddles ring against the tile, Kazu jumping up and down to shortly being swooped up into Katsuki thick arms.
"I heard someone was a little shit today"
Two thick fingers pinch plump rosy cheeks, his tone indicating he was proud rather than upset, you scoffed at the scene, arms folded against your chest turning off to the television—promptly starting to make your way upstairs.
"Taking up after me, huh brat-" cutting a piercing look shot in his direction killed the words on his tongue, he cleared his throat—setting Kazu down, Katsuki kneeled becoming eye level with her.
Kazu's cheeks flushed, that same scowl creeping back onto her face. Her small hands pressed flush against her chest.
"You know better than to fight your classmates, What's gotten-" Katsuki knew that look. He knew what's next before it even played out, and he loathed it.
Katsuki's attempt at a "I'm so disappointed" face morphed into worry, worry to a sour mix of misery and rage. It's not foreign for a father to have trouble scolding his baby girl and Katsuki was no different. A strong part of him screamed 'fuck this, kid probably deserved it anyway', words clawing up his throat viscously only to be forced back by the reminder of expulsion if she does it again.
"I just wanted—wanted to be jus' like you."
Tears threatened her lash line, lips formed into a pout, puffed up cheeks. A chubby fist swiped fat tears quickly, a thumb wiping off the next.
"Kazu—baby. Listen, I know you meant well but, bein’ a hero doesn't always mean beatin' people up.” glassy scarlet peer up at him, bottom lip still trembling. “It doesn’t..?”
“‘course not, it’s about, uhh, problem solving and protecting people using methods that doesn’t always include your hands.” A thick hand ruffles the top of her hair, Kazu’s tears no longer flowing.
“One day, when you are a hero—best hero ever—you’ll understand.”
"But for now brat, just let me handle all the real villains!" Kazu cheerfully nodded, cheeks burning bright as before, a short silence fell over as Katsuki anticipated his next question—gazing up at the stairs, searching for your figure before turning his attention back.
"Did you get 'em good? Right in the eyes like I showed you?"

Dhar Mann might've been secretly a "villain" the whole time....
Tumblr media
Pt.1 (?)
No, you're not hallucinating. You saw that title correctly. Believe it or not, I have had ridiculous beef for years with the man who many love, and even adore, Dhar Mann. And therefore, I'll be elaborating today on why such a "good person" like him is considered one of my sworn enemies, and why I think you should consider him one too.
Many people, and especially parents, assume that Dhar Mann is a great influence on kids, and a friendly individual. And although for the most part; that can be true, but you need to look at the bigger picture.
"The Dhar Mann Effect" is what I like to call it. A serious, and contagious virus that even the most experienced and hard-working doctors can't find the cure to. "What does the Dhar Mann effect do?" ...You may be asking. Well, great question! The Dhar Mann effect is when you form an addiction and obsession to watching the supposedly "short films" made by no other than Dhar Mann himself. And I'm not talking about a little, silly obsession. I'm talking about serious addictions that can lead into binge watching video after video non-stop. Such things should be taken far way solemnly.
Tumblr media
And the prime example is my younger sister. Among many of my Dhar Mann-obsessed friends, I'd say she's the worst case. It started out around 2 years ago, when their substitute teacher played a Dhar Mann video at class (since many students have requested it), and ever since, she got hooked. I knew then that there was no coming back, she reached the "no-return" point.
I'd go as far as saying that it's like drugs to her. She can't survive a day without watching at least 3 videos in one sitting. And yes, that includes re-watching or re-visiting older videos. Trust me, it's deeper than just a "So you see...". My sister can qualify as an iPad kid, now, if I had to say so. And even currently, as I'm writing this, I can hear Jay's voice, One of Dhar Mann's most popular actors— playing from her room. I feel like it's not the same, and those damages may be irreversible. My poor sister can't live her life to the fullest anymore. All she does is wait for the new Dhar Mann video. And while she waits for the next one, she just rewatches his old videos, making sure she knows all the lore.
This is not a "haha" joke, people. This is dead serious. No joke. I'm not crossing my fingers. I'm not what nowadays kids call "capping 🧢". I'm being genuine and I'm typing this with the straightest face ever.
Another issue I have with Dhar Mann is how threatening he appears to me. I can promise you that if you look long enough into his smile, you'll realise it's slightly unsettling. Did you notice his face almost always looks the same in every picture? Well, you're probably not trippin'. That's because he has that same smile in literally every picture I could find of him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What are the chances he might be a robot? Ready for the day we all fall for his spell and none of us are safe anymore, so he can finally strike? There is something so terrifying about him. Every time I look at that smile, I can't help but shiver a bit of fear. But mostly, I'm quite intimidated by his disturbing behaviour. The way he never fails to stare dead into our souls. That's what I find strange.
But hold up, the theories don't stop... at least not yet! Did you notice the way Dhar Mann ends every single one of his videos with "Hey Dhar Mann fam!" ??? What are the chances that he refers to us as his fam (family) to hide the fact we're probably stuck in his basement? If we're talking lore-wise, I'd say the reason Dhar Mann calls us his fam is the following: We're all chilling at our homes, until one day... A Dhar Mann video comes to our recommendations. By watching the media, you're secretly agreeing to sign an invisible contract that gives ol' Dhar the ability to adopt you. Child or not. And just because you're now part of his fam, doesn't mean he can't trap you into the basement and lock you up with multiple of many victims. The only time he'll ever check on you is when he comes in the basement and greets you with "Hey Dhar Mann Fam!" While feeding you those meaningless videos.
I'll show you a couple of examples, and YOU tell me what these videos could possibly teach kids who barely know what photosynthesis is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, be real, just for a moment, WHY IS THE SECOND VIDEO A GODDAMN SERIES????? ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT ITS A CASUAL THING THAT THE PROTAGONIST EXPERIENCES ON SIMPLE OCCASIONS TO GET JUMPED???
I think another weird part is that Dhar Mann featured another EXTREMELY popular YouTuber named "Mr. Beast" many, many times, but even then— he feels this need to pull out knock off Mr. Beast...ahem ahem....Mr. "feast"...??????
Tumblr media
No joke. Just search up "Dhar Mann Mr. Feast" and count how many videos come up. But if you're so lazy to check, it's 4. yea. 4 DAMN VIDEOS ABOUT A MR BEAST RIP OFF. YOU GUYS NEED TO WAKE UP AND REALISE THIS IS A MAN WITH A WIFE AND 2 KIDS.
And back to square one, What's the moral meaning behind this media he displays for the youth?
Tumblr media
Not Dhar Mann (a multi millionaire) copying the "NO CHICK-FIL-A SAUCE?" girl???? Smh...
So... Do you think Dhar Mann is really the innocent "moral philosopher" he claims himself as? Or is it deeper than a "Hey Dhar Mann Fam"?. But either way, that's it for today. Thank you all for listening to my Ted Talk.
SORRY GUYS IM HIGH ON VITAMIN GUMMIES (AGAIN) AND LIKE I DO THINK DHAR MANN IS MY SWORN ENEMY BUT LIKE YALL BETTER NOT TAKE THIS /SRS LMAOOOO🙏🙏🙏

Some more stuff with that impskizz and impixl teacher AU this time with Some Kind Of Dungeoncrawl Fantasy Heist Game Akin To DnD! (but probably not with the same name)
some time after impulse and pixlriffs sort out the Misunderstanding, another teacher - Tango, who teaches Mob Spawning Manipulation and Usage - starts up a tabletop campaign and impulse, skizz, and pixlriffs are some of the people invited!
it's set largely in the Frozen Citadel and the cursed and plagued mines underneath
naturally, there are shenanigans.
impulse and skizz play their characters as obnoxiously in love. jimmy the PE teacher has ridiculous strings of bad luck but also has caught the eye of the DM. pixlriffs' rogue character is decided to have a minor psychic power of knowing when something is older or more valuable than it seems because he SOMEHOW keeps getting really high rolls on SPECIFICALLY APPRAISAL they have CHECKED this even happens when someone else is rolling different dice for him??
ren's fighter, who took a level in ice-based magic as well and flavoured it as getting lightly possessed by the Red King of the Citadel, flirts with EVERYBODY. cleo the geology teacher accidentally started a whole plotline involving lost knowledge of how to pull stuff from the resource-rich elemental plane of earth and an incredibly valuable hidden book on magically enhancing stone because she had a few questions about things like "what kind of stone is the place made of" and "what's being mined?" because she wanted to steal bits of dungeon.
tango has guest players every so often, like Doc the medical engineering professor who shows up shirtless to play a villain and flirts with Ren (and possibly actually scored) and has his character walk onto an obvious trapdoor despite Tango's warnings and then is genuinely surprised when it opens and drops his character into a wet pit, and Grian and Scar the architecture and magic students who somehow manage to scam the players into purchasing 'game performance enhancing soup'. not the characters, the PLAYERS (its just regular creamy mushroom soup with vegetables, though at least everyone agrees it does taste nice).
theyre all having a GREAT time (and subtly trying to help tango and jimmy get together)
If Tango weren't DM, they're pretty convinced Jimmy and Tango's characters would be dating. Not Tango and Jimmy, no. Their characters. Because the two are hilariously oblivious.
Cleo likes enabling the chaos. Not in a productive way, no. Just whatever chaos she can create, she does. Spawning an entirely new plotline was fun, though! (It has led to a lot of late nights of Tango asking Pix various questions which definitely are not about the campaign, no way, but please tell him about what purpose this room would have in a keep-)
It's also obligatory to bring soup now. That's Grian and Scar's punishment for their performance enhancing drugs. If they all have it then it makes the playing field even, right?

( I have an idea and need to note this concept / AU and for some reason OTHER PEOPLE need to know it with me! )↷
✰ King candy / Turbo if he got adapt into the popular Disney Villains media ✰🍭🏎️
Tumblr media
In this case I have two ideas and probably the only two popular Disney Villains media I know. Twisted wonderland, Descendants <-
( Also sorry for my English.. and some swear words )
☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
Tumblr media
;; I have completely retired from this fandom since 2022 and promise myself I'll never go back to it. It's all because I lost my game account in my present phone and all my progress in the game ( more than 5 SSR cards specially Idia dorm uniform and I already in Chapter 6 ) even though I still have the game and the same account in my old phone but I'm too afraid to open it.... Well, it has been a year now since I lost it and my feelings for this game are better now. But I still retired from this fandom
Ok, back to the concept. Twisted Wonderland mostly focuses on classic types of Villains but I wanna know what it would be like if one day Disney feels a little bit funny and put the modern villains in and adapt his story into this game
Just like in WIR He starts at being Turbo does something very bad and gets kicked out but comes back as King candy. So here's the idea
☆ The character lore ;
Terlos " Kingan " Candás ( Definitely quick makeup name ) or Terlos Candás was a student of Night Raven College and belonged in the Ignihyde dorm. He's a low percent of Ignihyde students who are kinda active people but Terlos not much of a good guy doing to his power-hungry personality.
Just like most Ignihyde dorm students. He has intelligence on Technology specific hacking and gaming but the thing that makes him different from other is he's a Magical Shift player too that's literally only him and his Twins friends who's playing it in this dorm
But during one of the Magical Shift Tournaments something happens. Night Raven Battle with another school and Terlos being the spotlight. Sadly the longer the game goes player from another school start to make a score more than Night Raven and steal Terlos's thunder
He's so jealous, jealous enough to attack that player with fury. The damage is more than enough to make the Tournaments stop immediately. That poor player gets sent to the hospital, sadly the damage from the magic put him in coma
from what happened Terlos got banned for playing Magical Shift forever but not only that Terlos got fired from Night Raven...
.... but he's not giving up yet. A year later Terlos disguised himself making a new identity name Kingan Candás or KC for short and this time he's getting into another school instead of Night Raven he goes to Royal Sword Academy being the fake royal among them. KC knows that RSA is a competitor with NRC so it's a chance for him to get revenge on his old school
☆ In game story ;
The storyline runs pretty similar to Chapter 5 about NRC vs RSA kinda thing but this time the difference is it's Magical Shift Tournaments between these two schools and the one who cheats and Overblot.. is Kingan himself
While the tournaments are running Yuu and other characters found some suspicions on KC during the event. And at the end they found out about his true identity of him being a wolf in sheep's clothing. After that KC snapped so hard he got Overblot and it's Yuu and other characters to deal with it before the tournaments start
.... After that the headmage of both schools know they think about how to deal with KC this time. Luckily he doesn't get fired from Royal Sword but gets banned from playing Magical Shift ( again ) Being kept a special eye on by all teachers and staff in RSA to make sure he won't do anything wrong again
☆ Unique magic concept ;
" Cheat code! " This Unique magic has the ability to make Terlos see through every movement of what's going on like reading his own hands. Know what other people are going to do next, know their weakness or see them even if they're hiding behind stuff. It's like using a cheat code in video games to win
Tumblr media
;; After listening to What's my name, Rotten to the core and It's goin' down so many times I start to have an idea. I know it sounds so crazy and literally almost impossible for King candy / Turbo because he's a game characters. But hey, if we high enough anything can be possible
Similar to Twisted Wonderland that focuses on classic types of Villains but Descendants Mosley focuses on their children instead. At this point I’ll throw a lot of " logic " things out of the window and trying my best to use my imagination to make things make sense as possible
☆ How KC got to Isle of the Lost ;
Just like other villains that they get brought back to life to be imprisoned in the Isle of the Lost. In this case is quite special than the other
After King candy-bug survive from the beacon he’s hiding for a while in Sugar Rush until he change the hiding spot to other arcade. Somehow can avoid Surge Protector and other game characters by going in time that Litwak's Arcade still open and no characters out of their game
KCB has hiding in another game for a while but that game get unplugging because of the unpopular. He thought he’s died already until… his eyes open again and found out the arcade gets transported into new places. It’s not normal an Arcade Central but it’s some places that’s dark but full of colorful lights. Dr. Facilier’s Voodoo Arcade
The arcade plug straight to the wall, limited him from leaving the game but in the same time KCB doesn’t hiding himself anymore that makes the characters in the game scared and hiding from him instead because there’s no one who can help them now. Well, that’s mean he’s kinda succeed on take over the game this time
Even the game probably doesn't work like what Dr. Facilier think but this little weird thing makes him interested and designed to still keep the arcade like this
☆ Royal child...? ;
Descendants of course focus on the villain's child so like.. what if KC has a kid? It might sound crazy and impossible but hear me out. Your question might be " who's the mom " but what if.. KCB doesn't need her?
" They don't know they're in a game. All they know is eat, kill, multiply "
This dialog from the movie gave me an idea about " multiply ". KCB of course still has a cybug code and I'm pretty sure the cybug doesn't give a F about gender so... Yah, you know what I mean gonna skip that egg laying part
Maybe there's a lucky one that hatches and being a Cybug Hybrid with flexible code makes them can transform between humans and The hybrid
Oh boi, it's getting more unreal and fictional every minute
☆ Get out of the Arcade ;
Now here's the " it's magic britch. I ain't gonna explain shit " parth
KC's child ( that I don't think about the name or gender yet ) because they also have a cybug code making them grow up fast and becoming a teenager in just a few weeks. So many days pass one of Dr. Facilier's daughter Celia finally found out about the truth why their arcade game acts weirdly. It's because the characters have their own subconscious and awareness
She tells her dad about this and bolt of them gets really excited about this information. Dr. Facilier and Celia designed to communicate with KC and his child tell them that they know about the character's awareness and don't need to hide anymore with promise they won't unplugged the game
After that both sides of them have become a friend specialty Celia and KC's child. One day Ceila designed to bring her digital friend to the real world. There's nothing magic can't do so she's looking for the magic that might take her friend out of the game
And guess what? She found the spell that can take something unreal to exist ( it's hard to explain and I have no idea what I am talking about ). As soon she cast the spell to KC's child the magic pulls their body out of the arcade. The effects of the magic giving KC's child and new body to fit in the real world while they still can transform to hybrid-cybug form ( similar to Mal turn into dragon and Uma turn into octopus mermaid )
☆ Auradon Prep ;
Celia recommended KC's child to come to Auradon Prep with her so they could study together in the same school. KC's child who already wants to go explore the outside world answering it and moving to Auradon Prep
Even that KC's child hiding their identity of the original being video games character and telling other people that they're just another person from Isle of the Lost
But sometimes they go back to the isle to meet their dad and update about the outside world

♛ Bonus part ! ;;
In this part I'll explain about some of the references I put in and something that you guys might have a question with ;
【 Twisted Wonderland section 】↷
> Why did I put Turbo in Ignihyde?
: Turbo or King candy might sound more fit in other dorms like Heartslabyul doing to the red color ( and the fact KC have a reference design from Mad Hatter ) or even Pomefiore doing the purple color and royalty feeling. But the reason why I'm putting him in this dorm instead is because of his skill that is related to technology like video games and hacking and both of these seem like a skill that is especially on Ignihyde dorm. ( Also it's my favorite dorm too )
> The Turbo twins in this concept
: Turbo twins have a similar role like Jade and Floyd in the main game. They're both sticking around T. being a good partner but deep down they both kinda dislike T. a bit just like other people. And of course they're also in Ignihyde. This time it's kinda fit because the dorm main color is blue
> Unique magic reference
: " Cheat code! " It's a reference to konami code King candy used to entering The code space
【 Descendants section 】↷
> Why I don’t bring King candy to the real world too?
: Simple. It’s feel curse and I feel like it’s more good for KC if he still stays inside game ( Live action KCB it’s feel.. wrong to thinking )
> The timeline
: Timeline of this concept it’s between Descendants 3 to Descendants: The Rise of Red for making it kinda present as possible
¸ .  ★ ° :.  . • °   .  * :. ☆
For who to reading it to this part I want to thank you for watching me writing about all this Concept, What if, AU kinda thing sm. It’s taking me a few days it finished it and don’t think it’ll be this long, LOL
Anyway I might drawing about both of this concept in future… If I won’t forget it first

As you sat isolated in the library with only a hangnail to accompany you, you reflected on the life choices that led you here.
You considered yourself a perfectly normal high school student. You got straight As, were loved by all your teachers, and turned every assignment in on time. Even outside of academics, you had a good amount of friends and plenty of interesting hobbies to pass your free time — so, once again, how did this happen? What malicious forces aligned that led you to pretending to be captivated by the nutrition facts of your drink so that people didn’t realize how awkward you felt?
The answer was actually rather simple: a negative six.
Just the thought of that godforsaken negative six made your blood boil. You clenched your fist tightly as if you were a super villain reflecting on the tragic backstory that led them to a life of crime.
Last Monday, there was a huge test in calculus — “huge” as in “30% of your grade” huge. Suffice to say, you were nervous. You spent the entire week leading up to it studying your textbook, meeting your teacher after class, and making your friends quiz you during lunch. Hell, you even color coded flash cards! *Color coded!*
When the day of the test finally came, you felt confident. All of your hard work would surely pay off. The final question of the exam consisted of four parts and was worth the majority of the points on the test. Confident in the material, you jumped right in. It wasn’t until you went back to check your work that you realized that in the first part, you had misread a negative six in the equation as positive by accident, consequently throwing off your calculations for the entire question.
Before you could fix it, the dismissal bell rang like the trumpets of judgment day. There was no turning back.
You had begged your teacher to let you retake the test — honestly, *groveled* was probably a more accurate way to describe the level of ass-kissing you deployed.
“Please, ma’am,” you had pleaded. “It was one simple mistake. Can’t I have another chance?”
Your teacher had not been impressed in the slightest. “I’m sorry, y/n, but you know I have a strict no retake policy in this class. However, there is one thing you can do for extra credit, if you’re interested.”
“Yes, I’m interested!”
She’d sighed. “One of the boys on the soccer team currently has a C in my class. As you know, athletes at this school must maintain at least a B-minus average in all subjects in order to play, so he’s looking for a tutor.”
So, yeah. Negative six. Library. Hangnail.
The mysterious boy you were patiently waiting for was Park Sunghoon. You had certainly heard about him — just about every girl in your school had a crush on him — but you’d never really interacted with him personally. You had seen him run out with the rest of the soccer team during the pep rally, but that was about it. You supposed he seemed like an alright guy.
However, Park Sunghoon was currently fifteen minutes late for the tutoring session. You thrummed your pencil against the table. Where the hell was he? You almost considered leaving when you heard the library doors swing open.
“I am so sorry,” you heard a breathless voice say behind you. “I know I’m super late.”
Rolling your eyes, you whipped around to face him. “Sunghoon, where were…”
Woah. He’s definitely a lot more attractive when you’re not looking at him from a set of bleachers. Silky, chestnut brown hair framed his face, slightly windswept from the hurry he had just been in. His forehead was obscured by wispy bangs that settled over his brows and his dark eyes were wide and pleading, like he was afraid that you were annoyed with him.
His expression morphed into one of confusion, probably because you trailed off mid sentence literally just to stare at him like an idiot. “Uh,” he began, visibly perturbed by the fact that you were burning holes through him with your eyeballs. “You’re y/n, right?”
You stared some more. “You know my name?”
“Well, Mrs. Jang told me you would be my tutor, so…”
Right. Tutoring. This was a tutoring session. “Oh, yeah. Duh.” You cleared your throat and straightened your posture in an attempt to gather yourself. “Here, sit down.”
He smiled shyly and settled down next to you, slinging his backpack over the back of his chair. He pulled out a notebook and a pencil case and set them down on the table before turning to face you. “So, where do we start?”
Now that you could observe him up close, you noticed a lot more small details about him — specifically, the small freckle that was on the side of his nose. Truly, Sunghoon was a beautiful person.
“What do you struggle with?” you asked, trying to sound as professional as possible.
He cringed. “I don’t know. I guess kind of… everything…?”
That wasn’t helpful at all, but Sunghoon was one of the cutest guys you’d ever seen so you were going to let it slide. “Let’s just start with the chapter we’re learning in class right now. Is that okay?”
He agreed, and you flipped open the textbook to the content you had been assigned last week. As you explained you could tell that Sunghoon wasn’t fully processing the information you were telling him, but he was still making an effort to understand. He nodded at everything you said and even asked clarifying questions when he missed something. You knew this was an educational context, yet you couldn’t help but get butterflies at the undivided attention he was giving you.
You pointed at a problem on the page. “This question is asking for you to find the integer part of this expression. How would you go about doing that?”
Sunghoon stared at the question for a few moments, chewing his lip as he thought of a solution. You couldn’t help your gaze from traveling down to his mouth as he worried his soft, rosy lips between his teeth. You noticed that his canines were considerably sharp, like a vampire’s. For some reason you found it extremely attractive.
“You should use the density of the rationals?” he answered hesitantly, eyes flitting up to yours in search of approval.
You grinned. “That’s right, Sunghoon! See, I knew you’d get the hang of this!”
He smiled back at you bashfully, running his hand through his hair. “Ah, it was just an easy question. I’m kind of hopeless when it comes to this stuff.”
“Aw, come on, that isn’t true,” you insisted with a frown. “Clearly you’re not completely hopeless. You just answered a question correctly!”
He shrugged, casting his gaze downwards. “The only reason I’m here is because I’m totally flunking calculus. Mrs. Jang is so pissed at me because she thinks I’m not trying, but I swear I am! I just genuinely don’t understand most of this stuff.”
He looked so defeated, it kind of broke your heart. Wanting to comfort him, you reached over and gently placed your hand on the side of his arm. “But you’re still trying, Sunghoon. That’s what really matters. Some people just aren’t built for a traditional classroom, that’s all.”
Sunghoon gave you a small smile. “Thanks, y/n. We should definitely have another session together sometime soon. You’re an amazing teacher.”
“Aw, thanks,” you replied sheepishly, cheeks turning a warm pink hue at the compliment. “Just don’t be late next time!”
He giggled and rubbed the back of his neck in an embarrassed manner. “Yeah, sorry about that, by the way. It was a family thing.”
“Is everything okay?”
“Everything’s fine, don’t worry,” he assured you. “My mom was stuck in awful traffic so I had to go pick up my little sister from her school and take her home. I was really worried about her — I didn’t want her waiting there all alone and confused, you know?”
You nodded in understanding. “Don’t worry, I get it. You really care about your sister, huh?”
“Yeah,” he replied in a soft voice. “She’s such a goofball. I love her.”
He smiled to himself, as if he were musing on the many fond memories he shared with his sibling. You could feel your heart melt. It was sweet to see Sunghoon be such a doting older brother.
Suddenly, you heard your phone buzz and turned to look at it from its place on the table. When you saw the time on your home screen, you tensed.
“Crap, my bus is going to leave soon,” you said, panicked. You gathered your materials and turned to him. “This was great, Sunghoon! I’ll see you—”
“Wait, y/n,” he interrupted. “I should probably give you my number, right?”
You blinked. “Oh. Yeah, that would probably be a good idea.”
He smiled, amused by your disorderly manner. “Give me your phone.”
You complied and he quickly entered his information. When you took your phone back, you could see he saved his contact as “hoonie <3”. The heart made your face heat up.
“It’s my nickname,” he explained. “But only people I like can call me that.”
This boy seriously made your brain malfunction in every way possible. Was he flirting with you? “Th-thanks,” you stuttered. You started for the door but he grabbed your hand, causing you to stop in your tracks. When you turned to look at him, he had leaned in closer. So close that you could count his eyelashes if you wanted to. You hoped he couldn’t hear the pounding of your heart.
“Listen, y/n,” he started, voice low. “We should hang out sometime, outside of school. Just the two of us.”
He looked straight into your eyes, searching for a response. The feeling of his hand in yours nearly made your knees buckle. Your faces were mere inches apart; you felt so tiny under his gaze.
“I’d love to, Hoonie,” you answered, voice so breathless it was almost a whisper.
“Great,” he said, smiling. “It’s a date then.”

A prompt on how mirabel was treated differently from her family by both them and the the townsfolk, please? Not trying to villainize them but it's obvious she wasn't always treated with respect.
The majority of the town are just indifferent about her, however, there are a few cases where they just don’t like her. She’s not worth any particular attention because she really isn’t any better than the rest of the them. In comparison to the hardworking efforts of her mother and sisters, she’s just useless. The false Madrigal.
To note this is written from Mirabel’s point of view, she has a lot of self-hatred here and that effects her judgement. Also, there is a second part to this, where the issues are resolved, but it’s not so much about Mirabel, so I’ll save it for another time.
Apologies for this taking so long :)
~~~~~~
The False Madrigal
It was no mystery to which Madrigal was the least appreciated in Encanto. The younger children don’t know who she is; the adults remember the disappointment and depression when Julieta didn’t have a boy, and the disastrous gift ceremony that followed. The family, though they meant well, also couldn't be pardoned for neglecting her on occasion - even if she was so mature and responsible and intelligent.
Mirabel finds the dislike amongst her classmates the worst. They complain at her impressive grades and attendance: “That girl’s mouth must be good to get the scores she gets” and “Of course her attendance is great, it’s not like she’s got anywhere else to be” and “She thinks she’s so much better than us with her fancy clothes and Madrigal blood”. They mostly ignore her. Nobody sits or talks to her. Pupils beg the teachers for different partners.
“They say she’s going to be exiled from Encanto. She’s going to leave Colombia.”
“She’s just some stupid jinx.”
“I hear she’s being sent all the way to some convent in France.”
Words fly up and down the path to school, like butterflies circling flower beds. Dolores has probably heard more than Mirabel ever has and she left school years ago. They go all quiet when Mirabel passes, some giggle or whisper. All day, Mirabel carries herself with a straight back, pays attention and does her work, ignoring any malicious comment that comes her way.
But, she’s very aware of her social status in Encanto.
She’s not lonely, that’s just a rumour. She doesn’t mind the lack of companionship, she’s always preferred the time to herself. But it’s when the line between being alone and nonexistent start blurring that it hurts.
Señor Cortez, an old man, once a painter and still a friend of Abuela’s, has been commissioned to paint a mural of the Madrigals in the town square. A thick curtain covers the wall and everyone wonders what is hiding underneath. He works underneath the thing during the day, so Tía Pepa is tasked to bring down the temperature a little.
The children pass it everyday on her way to school. Camilo, impatient as ever, once snuck a peek - only the triplets had been painted at the time, and Tía Pepa punished him with no football for the rest of the day.
This particular day, the mathematics teacher, Señor Molina takes attendance after lunch. The school doesn’t usually, but some students have been caught not coming back from lunch recently. There hadn’t been any issues, beyond one or two pupils not being present, until he turned red.
“Which one of you have added a fake name to the register?” Señor Molina asked. “Speak up. I will not ask again.”
The class fell into a hushed silence, looking around at each other in genuine confusion.
“Well? Someone must have done it! There is no Mirabel Madrigal.”
Señor Molina has taught them for ten years now. To be fair, he’s never taken attendance until now - music has always been after lunch. But surely, he knows the class’ names? He’s taught all the Madrigal grandkids, he comes by and teaches Dolores every new instrument she can get her hands on, he taught Agustín to play piano when he moved in to town. He’s been to all the gift ceremonies, he played at the couples’ wedding.
The class remain dead silent.
Mirabel swallowed. “I am Mirabel?” The girl questioned, raising a hand from her chair in the back corner.
The man went to yell at her, but didn’t. Just gave a comment he’d speak to her after class.
When they time came, he accused her of lying. She explained in a desperately panicked way that it was no prank and that was genuinely her name. It was an odd thing to argue with a teacher about, especially one that knew her family. She had tried to tell him, but—
“I’m sorry, niña. I had no memory of a Mirabel in the Madrigal family. Your family must be very new to town. When did you arrive?”
She’d been so upset. He’d believed that it as her name, but not that she had any relation to the Madrigals. He’d jokingly played along with her briefly.
“Oh yeah, what’s your gift?”
No answer.
And then, “All the Madrigals have gifts. If you were one of them, you’d have a gift.”
Silence.
“It’s very charming that you think yourself one, they are very welcoming like that, but I’m sure your real family are just as special. You should get back to them. Maybe change your surname to avoid further confusion, sí?”
On Mirabel’s way home, she’s picking at loose threads, hands trembling and eyes misty. She didn’t do anything.
She passes by the mural, the curtain long gone. It must’ve been completed today and everyone has already seen the finished mural. Well, everyone except Camilo, who was at school too, and Isabela, who was doing who knows what, because both of them are admiring the piece when she approaches.
Isabela rolls her eyes, “If you didn’t always have your nose in a book, you wouldn’t be late out of school.”
“You look like you’re about to cry, prima!” Camilo comments. “You can go finish your book or schoolwork or whatever when we get back home.”
Mirabel looks away.
The mural is a beautiful, brightly coloured piece. With birds and flowers and butterflies and— Tío Bruno? He’s barely in the family tree in Casita. He looks scary in this picture. In sheer contrast to the elegance of Abuela; the vibrancy of Tía Pepa; the happiness and care of Mama; Dolores is smiling for once, it’s nice to see her happy; Camilo and Antonio look as charming as always - the latter will be pleased by the amount of animals; Isabela without a single flaw, like usual with her photos; Luisa hardly ever has time to pose like their sister, she’ll love it though; the little houses in the corner are…
“I’m not in it?” She asks.
Camilo raises an eyebrow. “Yeah, you are, four-eyes. You’re right there…” he points beside Luisa. He frowns. Then laughs again. “Cortez left you out? That’s hilarious!”
“Abuela was probably worried you’d ruin it.” Isabela suggests, unhelpfully.
“Maybe it was only for gifted Madrigals.”
“Can’t be,” Isabela corrects. “Antonio is on it.”
“Well, that’s not fair! Antonio will get his in two months.” He retorted. He scratched his head. “Señor Cortez just probably doesn’t know you are. Lots of people in the town don’t. I frequently have to tell the children I babysit that I have three cousins.”
“We speak every morning on the way to school,” Mirabel says.
Camilo shrugs, now bored of the conversation.
He then pounces on Isabela, who is framing the wall with fresh flowers. “There’s a gap between you and Dolores, what do you think that’s about?” He smirks as Isabela glares. “Do you think Mariano will be added in? Do you think he’ll start wearing pink? Will there be enough room for all your babies? Will he be kissing you? What if—” He’s cut off, choking on rose petals.
“If Abuela wishes it, yes.” Isabela answers. “Shouldn't you be babysitting at La Casa Ramos by now?”
“I should, but Señora Ramos and baby Adelita have the same questions as me.”
“Señora Ramos is too tired to remember her name, never mind my relationship. And Adelita is literally three months old.”
“And she’s very curious for her age. Honestly, Isabela, how are you gonna raise Mariano’s kids if you don’t know anything about them?”
“I know stuff about kids!”
“Okay, go on then!”
“I know they can be annoying with nonstop questions!”
“Sorry, that doesn’t make sense!”
“You don’t make sense!”
“Your face doesn’t make sense!”
Mirabel pressed her palm against the wall, trying to ground herself.
She was invisible. She was a freak with no name or purpose or family. With no history and no future.
“Sis?”
Mirabel jumped.
“Stop staring creepily at the mural,” Isabela says. “Abuela’s going to be mad at you for being late.” She almost smiles at the thought. “Or maybe she won’t remember you and you’ll be let off.”
The teenager sighed, following Isabela away.
She can’t decide which would be better, honestly. To be known or to be loved?
At dinner, Abuela taps her spoon against her glass, catching the family’s attention. Mirabel can barely see her, Luisa’s large frame blocking her view.
“Before we start, I have an announcement,” Abuela says, smiling. Proper smiling. The same smile she only gives Isabela. “As you all know, our dear friend, Señor Cortez finished his exceptional mural of us in town. To thank him, I have invited him and his wife for dinner tomorrow. I except all of you to make him feel welcomed. He has also asked if he may paint portraits of each of the children over the next week, to go alongside the others. I want each of you looking your best.”
Mirabel wonders if the offer extends to her.
She spent the entire meal pushing food around on her plate to distract from how little she was eating, but nobody noticed. Or if they did, they didn’t care.
“Did you see the moral?” Antonio whispers, with his mouth full at her side.
“Mural,” she corrects, quietly. Nobody hears.
“Did you see it? The moral? Mama says I looked very grown up. I think I look like Papa. I think Tío Bruno looked silly. And Camilo, he is silly.” He stops. “What do you think, Dolores?”
Mirabel trembles. Why is it getting so blurry? She’s wearing her glasses. Tears. She’s crying. Why is it so hard to breathe?
“Can you believe I was only holding one dumbbell?” Luisa asked, to no one in particular. “I get a church would’ve been too big. Not even a donkey? Or two dumbbells? That one was so small. I’m stronger than that.”
“Yeah, and your father should’ve been painted with bee stings.” Pepa added, smirking.
Agustín gasped, dramatically. “I have never been so insulted! You should’ve been painted with lightning.”
“Only if you had a broken arm.”
“Only if you had a hurricane.”
“Only if you had—”
“Stop arguing, you’re worse than the children,” Julieta interrupted. “Agustín, you aren’t even in it. Félix, help me. I thought the mural was very accurate.”
Félix nodded. “Pepi, the mural is to show the best of us, no? We never would have seen Lolita smile if it had been done the way each of us wanted.”
“He should’ve not painted me at all,” Dolores grumbled.
“I think it would be funnier if I was painted as someone else.” Camilo said, shifting into Señora Pezmuerto. “It would really confuse people.”
“Thank you, Isabela. The flowers were an excellent touch.” Abuela complimented, kissing the young woman’s cheek.
She beamed. “I know they were Abuelo’s favourite.”
Mirabel rested her elbows on the table, her head hanging between hunched shoulders. She tried to make herself breathe properly, slow and careful intakes of air, but it was futile.
Everything felt so heavy and light all at once, her heart beating a panicky rhythm. Part of her told her to get a grip, she shouldn’t do this here, she’s embarrassing herself in front of the family. The other part told her she didn’t exist and so nobody would notice. That just made her cry more.
She was suppose to be Mirabel Madrigal!
That’s who she has been since birth, for better or worse.
She had to be Mirabel Madrigal!
Who else could she be?
She is Mirabel Madrigal!
Is or was?
new in town
for @strangerthingsocweek prompt '80s, 90s, today'
rated t | 1,122 words | cw: mention of alcohol abuse/dui | tags: hellfire club, 80s era, high school
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Transferring to the middle of nowhere Indiana the week after her 16th birthday might be Meg’s villain origin story.
She was coming from the outskirts of Boston, where her family had lived her entire life until her dad got a DUI and then got arrested for not showing up in court for said DUI. Meg’s mom was insistent they needed a fresh start while he got his shit together back home.
Why that fresh start was here escaped Meg.
Even worse, Hawkins High School was her worst nightmare. Her school back home wasn’t the best either, but at least she had her small group of friends who she could be herself with. Just looking around here made her realize she would probably spend the next two years alone.
She’d been a pretty good student for the most part, passed every class with As and Bs, only got detention once for a fight where she was defending her best friend from bullies, had almost perfect attendance except for that stupid flu in freshman year that nearly put her in the hospital.
But her teachers here looked like they were just going through the motions, and the students were clearly segregated into their cliques, and it was too late in the year to join clubs, not that they had any that interested her. She’d been in music appreciation club at home that met once a week at the record shop by the school where they got to preview a lot of new records as they came into the shop thanks to the owner who had basically adopted them as his children.
She didn’t even think Hawkins had a record shop. Or any radio stations that played anything other than country or worship music.
She spent lunch on her first day hiding behind the cafeteria, eating a bag of chips she got from a vending machine and hoping that her mom would change her mind and move them back home.
******
By day four, she’d decided to brave the cafeteria.
She couldn’t hide forever, and she definitely couldn’t keep living off of chips.
Most kids left her alone in class, only one guy bothered her to ask for a pencil and she was too shocked by the attention she handed him her own. She had to go the rest of the class without one since the rest of hers were in her locker. Luckily, English Literature was one of her best subjects and she probably didn’t need to take notes.
The cafeteria was loud, students sitting and standing in corners, talking and yelling and being obnoxious. It wasn’t much different from home in that respect, but still overwhelming. Not a single person here seemed to pay any attention to her.
She managed to find a seat alone at a corner table, clearly there for outcasts like her. Lunch today was meatloaf and mashed potatoes, which she normally didn’t like, but she’d skipped breakfast this morning and needed something to get through the rest of the day.
She was startled mid-bite by a loud voice coming from a long table on the opposite side of the cafeteria. She’d already clocked that table as a nerd table, which she wasn’t necessarily opposed to, but she wasn’t interested in making her life any harder by joining them.
A guy with long hair was standing on the table, all of his minions looking up at him from their seats surrounding him, as he gave a speech about the perils of high school hierarchies and sports being the downfall of the education system.
He made a lot of valid points.
A teacher came by and tugged him off the table, invited him to after school detention for disrupting lunch, as if that was even a thing, and the people in the cafeteria continued on as if nothing happened. His table seemed to move on quickly, laughing and talking amongst themselves while the guy in a battle vest shoved meatloaf into his mouth.
Maybe she had one potential friend here.
****
It took her another week to build up the courage to try to sit at their table. But one awkward pep talk in the bathroom before school and she was confidently walking up to the guy with the long hair and a shirt that read Hellfire Club.
Actually, all of them had matching shirts today.
Was this a cult? God, her mom would be pissed if she got involved with a cult.
There was one empty seat next to the only other girl at the table, so Meg sat down.
All eyes were on her immediately.
“You a lost sheep?” The guy at the end of the table asked.
“Is that what I need to be to sit here?” Meg asked in return.
The silence around the table was deafening. The guy at the end of the table smirked.
“It’s what all of us were at one point. You’re new here, right?”
Meg nodded.
“I’m Eddie. This is Hellfire Club. We play D&D and allegedly worship Satan. If you wanna sit here you definitely have to do at least one of those things,” the guy, Eddie, said.
“I’m Meg. I’m not into either of those things, but the shirt’s cool, so I guess I could be persuaded.”
Eddie took her in silently, gauging if she was serious or fucking with them.
Less than a minute later, he clapped his hands together and stood on his chair.
“Everyone welcome Meg! Introduce yourselves or whatever. You only get a shirt if you join a campaign. We meet on Thursdays. You in?”
Meg shrugged. “Might as well.”
“Great!” Eddie sat back down and watched as everyone took turns introducing themselves. He started eating a sandwich he pulled from his backpack. A lunchbox sat on the table unopened.
****
After a few weeks of joining them at the table and joining their dragons game on Thursdays, Meg got a shirt.
And while the shirt was basically a target for any popular kid to throw insults and punches, Meg felt protected.
Being a part of the group was nice, even if it wasn’t quite what she left behind in Boston.
She was seen now, by people who seemed to have a lot more in common with her than just being outcasts, and she didn’t feel the pressure to get out the moment she graduated. At least not as much as Eddie seemed to.
But Eddie sometimes mentioned traveling the world with his band, who Meg could admit had a decent sound for a high school band in the middle of nowhere, maybe heading east to Boston and New York to try their hand at big city life.
And they couldn’t do it without a guide, could they?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
Tumblr media
At too many points, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix forgets that, as a movie, it NEEDS to deviate from the source material. This makes it - more than any of the prior films - a sequel that will appeal to fans of the books first and foremost. That’s not to say it doesn’t work. This is a darker, more mature film for an audience that is growing up. Like its predecessors, this fifth chapter satisfyingly expands its world and characters.
Although Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) personally witnessed the return of the villainous Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), no one at the Ministry of Magic believes him. Instead, they send Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton) to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to restore order among the students and teachers. As she and the Ministry annex more and more authority from Professor Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) and restrict the use of magic inside the school, Harry, Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and their friends begin clandestinely training to face the dark forces outside.
What makes this film more grown-up than the others is the villain. Voldemort isn’t in the film much. The true antagonist is Dolores Umbridge, wonderfully played by Imelda Staunton. Finding words to describe your hatred for her is a challenge. She’s the lady at the DMV who holds all the power over you and feels the need to prove it. Maybe you accidentally spoke out of turn but odds are, she just didn’t like the way you looked walking in. The scenes where her influence at the school steadily grows are the movie’s best, a darkly comedic montage of the school’s cruel and demented caretaker, Filch (David Bradley) hammering one stifling decree after another into Hogwarts' stone walls. Voldemort’s a great bad guy but his villainy ain’t subtle. Umbridge and the ministry that backs her are truly sinister, the kind of evil you see in real life.
The scenes with Umbridge don’t so much retell what we saw in the novel by J. K. Rowling as embody the emotions her words generate. The scene in which Imelda Staunton and Maggie Smith (playing Professor McGonagall once again) assert their strength by going up a staircase one step at a time to show who is truly on top has the power of a thousand words. The film also wisely gives increased screen time to Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood, a favorite among many readers. During the conclusion, however, it sticks much closer to the original material, to its detriment. Everything that happens is exciting. There are ticking clocks and chases, opponents on every side, betrayal, action and heartbreaks but it feel rushed. If as little as one location was cut, it’d be cleaner and would land The Order of the Phoenix on the same height the previous movie - maybe even The Prisoner of Azkaban. A lot about the conclusion works but it could've been even better.
By now, all the returning actors are more than comfortable in their roles. The newcomers (which includes Helena Bonham Carter) are perfectly cast and even those with only a sliver of screen time make the most of their dialogue. Of all the books in the series, this was probably the most difficult to translate to the silver screen. The results - though imperfect - speak to the talent of director David Yates. You'd never guess he had only directed one film before this one. Though Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is a slight step down from the two previous movies, by the end you'll be too eager to see what comes next to mind. (On Blu-ray, July 12, 2019)
Realmente lo siento por este largo rollo, pude profundizar más, pero escribi esto tarde y realmente el tema puede ser más complicado siendo muy realistas y comparandolo con la vida real, al fin y al cabo es entretenimiento, espero muchisimo no ser molesta!! Gracias por escuchar!!
So this user sent in several messages about Shota and some things about the series that I think deserve to be read. I wanna break this down more in the future cause I think all the points there are fantastic ones 😊. But here it is for your reading pleasure. I used Google Translate to translate these messages so sorry for any grammatical errors.
First, I think it is a bad idea that the age to enter UA is 14 or 15 years old, it is true that they are no longer children but they are still adolescents, and adolescents can be very impulsive, and not think in detail about the consequences of choosing the hero's career, probably most will not even think about the risk or responsibility that one is! They only see the great hero who defeats the villain, he is rich, famous and popular, besides being invincible, (as happened with all might). Everyone in class a and b seems to have noble, emotional motives and to be good heroes (except bakugo and mineta) but I think this would not be very true in real life, and although we are talking about shonen and mha it is not that deep and realistic but I feel that 19 or 18 years would be a more logical or good age for young people to enter UA, as in real life, when you enter UA they are still UNDERAGE, maybe you will still depend on your parents at 19 but I think you will be more mature than at 14 or 15. Now in the current mha war the 1-a class is 16 and the big three like 18-17 THEY ARE VERY YOUNG it doesn't matter if they are more mature than the vast majority not even come of age!! They could die in such horrible ways as bakugo or return crippled and without body parts like Jirou, maybe there is a great need for people to fight this great war and there is no better option, but it is still horrible, no matter if they went by will . I think that mha's society must be very screwed for teenagers to be the last hope of humanity, their adolescence went to hell, and I wonder what they told the parents of the 1-a?? That his children go to a war where there are villains who could kill all might in his prime? Perhaps several families have already accepted the risk of their son being a hero, but even so, I believe that several would not even die and let their children go to war if they knew AFO. Aizawa...there is aizawa...it seems that in the play he is portrayed as a good teacher huh?? HE LET bakugo kill izuku in his first training, I BEAN EXPELLED AN ENTIRE CLASS for not having hero potential, BUT HE DID NOTHING with a kid who could kill another for a tantrum, who is a bully, bully and rude, if his class must have had a bad peculiarity or horrible personality and if they had the latter AIZAWA is a HYPOCRITE. Uff... I really don't think Aizawa is a bad hero or that he doesn't teach his students anything either but he really isn't competent, what kind of teacher falls asleep in a class, UA is supposed to be ONE OF THE BEST HERO ACADEMIES , a teacher should not fall asleep in class, and he flaps bakugo, wow! It seems that Katsuki contaminates those around him with his flaws and makes them fall with him. In short, I think it's a terrible idea that UA starts at age 15, that teenagers sacrifice their lives, while adults resign, that aizawa is a bad teacher (no one should put someone traumatized who has not dealt with it, to teach teenagers who remind him of that trauma) bakugo is horrible, and I don't understand why Nedzu hasn't done anything these years, perhaps the parents of the entire expelled class didn't complain? I think Aizawa could have caused a scandal and big problems for UA. I'm really sorry for this long thread, I could go deeper, but I wrote this late and really the topic can be more complicated being very realistic and comparing it with real life, after all it's entertainment, I hope very much not to be annoying!! Thanks for listening!!
Who're the rest of these Voices? If you don't mind me asking. 😅
:D You're going to regret asking. I have so much random content about them.
Some warnings:
Had this crew since 2003-2004. They've changed a lot. I've changed a lot too.
They all have sad stories, to some extent, because Tragic Backstories.
The time they exist in is super flexible, with fantasy elements and contemporary elements.
Very long explanation under the cut.
Tumblr media
This is a "family" picture I did in college, so 2010ish.
Left to right, top to bottom, human name / Voice name:
Howie / Houshi
"Lust" Voice obvi.
Voice name was a reference to Miroku from Inuyasha, because he was a pervy priest.
Accidentally shot by a lust arrow by his sister and is now "forever" plagued by perversion. (He gets over it.)
As he gets older, he got pretty spiritual for some reason
...and I just realized he was originally based off a priest so that's probably why he got spiritual. *dead*
Lydia / Love
Howie's sister and a Cupid Helper. Hence the lust arrow incident.
"Love" Voice.
Hopeless romantic and idealist.
Arro / Arrogant
Dark elf prince that gave up his throne
Was my "Evil" voice, but since I wasn't particularly evil/bad, he was just kind of over-the-top and goofy.
Has an affinity for chickens.
Joker is his boyfriend/partner/lover.
Oh, and he's a choreographer now!
Joey / Joker
Vampire, orphan, thief.
Started off as my Humor voice, but has developed a really dark side.
Arrogant is his boyfriend/partner/lover.
Also, is kind of Arro's manager. Like handles the finances and contracts.
Eruden / Al / Me
Self-explanatory. It's me.
I did have this side-thing where I was a Goddess of Darkness in training, buuut I ended up relinquishing the powers to Axel.
It's a long story.
Mimi / Mocha
Pixie party-girl, represented my hyper side. (I never partied tho.)
A romantic entanglement with another person's OC - that went super south - sobered her up a bit.
Runs a bakery
Lou / Life
Called him my "Sarcastic Voice" but really it was Protection.
Classic Marty Stu.
Used to be a hothead jerk "with a heart of gold" sort *snort*
Werewolf, wolf demon, demigod... I know it's a lot. Grandpa is an AU version of Fenris that fell in love with one of AU!Poseidon's daughters.
Grew up an orphan, got mixed up in gangs.
Sings and plays guitar, because I'm a basic bitch that swoons over that stuff, okay???
Definite leader-type, though everyone often gives him shit.
Derrick / Death
"Friendly" Voice? "Socially Acceptable" Voice?
Long lost twin of Life's.
Adopted out to human family and was basically a "token" werewolf in his community.
Made friends easily, partied moderately, kind of has this sense of loneliness, though.
Winnie / Wisdom
NERD VOICE. (Okay, voice of Wisdom, obvi.)
Dryad, runs a bookstore now. So kind of a morbid job for her. lol
Generally the voice of reason and responsibility.
In a relationship with Outcast.
Olivia / Outcast
Gothy "Outcast" Voice. Rage at the world, angry with society, kind of depression.
Siren.
Sings and dances, nowadays!
In a relationship with Wisdom.
Axel / Anti-Mean (yes, really, anti-mean)
Represented "anti-mean" feelings. lol Compassion, righteousness, sense of justice.
He is now the God of Darkness... It's complicated.
Originally backstory was he used to be a teacher, but a student blamed a bomb threat on him and he got fired. ¯\_(o_o)_/¯ *shrug*
Older than the other Voices.
idk what the relationship is between them, but he takes care of Flora. (Not like a sugar daddy way, though.)
Flora / Flaunt
"Girly" Voice that was originally created to be a villain.
After addressing my own internalized misogyny, I suppose she became more of a "Confidence" Voice or a "Realist" Voice?
Had a rough time after being kicked out of the Voices for years.
Again, idk what the relationship is between them, but she is a companion to Axel.
Mel / Melancholy
"Lonely" Voice, bittersweet feelings.
Arro's little sister. Originally was around to get him to go back and reclaim throne.
She's actually not pictured much, since she returned to the kingdom to save it from her evil uncle.
Yes, yes, I know, it's giving Lion King vibes.
(disclaimer that I don't know bnha canon at all and also reject roughly half of the fanon stuff I've found so)
I have a fic idea for bnha and idek if I want to read it or write it more but either way the idea keeps coming back to me
so shigaraki using video game terms
let's say that's partly bc he just enjoys video games and partly bc it's frequently a convenient metaphor/way of communicating stuff fast (like, u could say that guy over there has a Quirk that affects 10 metres in a radius around him, or u could say his attacks Aoe is 10m (don't be mad at me if I get terminology wrong lmao I'm just tryna get the gist of the idea across))
anyway
let's say this is a fic where
- dabi is touya todoroki
- several (but not all) of class 1-A have in the past or in the present strayed into vigilantism
- we have shinsou hitoshi in class 1-A bc I say so
- dabi/hawks
- hero commission bashing
- maybe some all might bashing?
I feel like I keep going off on tangents lmao anyway my main idea is that like basically Izuku forcibly adds all of Class 1-A (but no teachers) and all of the League of Villains to a discord or made up gc app, or gets someone else to do it, via hacking or smth like he doesn't approach them everyone just gets a notification of some form saying they've been added to a gc
and basically what happens is that several things are mentioned eg 1-A hating Endeavor, hints at vigilantism, and hero commission bashing, that makes the League slightly more inclined to listen, and then Izuku just fucking.
he makes it a video game basically lmao
everyone is aware that this is somewhere between an extremely extended metaphor and a weird agreement of challenges/engagement that only works if everyone keeps to the internally agreed rules, but everyone DOES keep to the internal rules of the game bc it's entertaining and bc it leads to more compromises that help both sides get shit done, it benefits communication and honestly why not. why not just see where this goes
izuku (and possibly another character or OC who is more believably villainish inclined?) plays like. narrator almost, assigning missions and conditions for failure/success etc. you can accept or refuse missions but there may be consequences
it's probably not actually discord they're doing this on it'd be some made up app for the purpose of the fic but it functions similarly in that it has channels/subgroups that only certain people can access. there's one for everyone, there's one for the League, there's one for all students, there's one for the vigilantes (some of 1-A plus Dabi), an anti-Endeavor one, etc etc etc. there's a lot of groups. the vigilante one may or may not be a separate channel to the one for those who r on the line between hero and villain (this includes Hawks, who is not a villain but loves Dabi, hates the hero commission, was sent to spy on the League by the Commission, and is constantly internally screaming at all times)
at first it seems there are only two overarching arcs/missions available: Hero or Villain, and everyone at first has to publicly pick one and it's v much 1-A vs League, tho the missions etc are subtly made so that they harm each other and bystanders slightly less than before the discord started
over time it becomes clear that 1) literally nobody there even the 100% heroes likes the commission the best case scenario is "I think it needs some reform to be effective and more ethical yikes" 2) its not just heroes and villains there's ppl in between. at some point there's how many is revealed but not who, after the first choice of Hero vs Villain (reform/imprison all villains and vigilantes and save as many as possible vs kill all might and in some way destroy the hero society structure type deal) nobody is necessarily obligated to tell anyone what they currently feel or their alliances or what they're aiming for
(Hawks causes complete fucking chaos at one point by posting on the main channel smth along the lines of "I'm going to cry someone else just approached me and I am now on five separate sides someone help me I am not this good at acting or time management I'm gonna get Caught I'm gonna Die I can't be a quadruple agent" to which naturally everyone went WHAT THE FUCK WHAT FIVE SIDES ARE YOU ON and THERE'S F I V E SIDES NOW and WHAT SIDE ARE YOU ACTUALLY FUCKING WORKING FOR THEN etc)
(the five sides are in no particular order 1) the hero commission 2) the league 3) UA/Nezu 4) vigilantes 5) heroes who do not agree with the commission OR vigilantism)
(someone help Hawks he is so very very stuck)
(he refuses to clarify what side he's on but does clarify that "I'm not even sure I know rn I have some allies everywhere and some enemies...not everywhere but lots of places" and "but I can assure u I too hate the hero commission fuck the hero commission")
everyone involved keeps this shit QUIET okay nobody except those on the discord knows the discord exists
but it does still influence their actions
which means yeah there's UA teachers having a crisis bc "why are the League suddenly so quiet and not committing more violent crimes" "why did that hero student just let that villain run away..." "what is happening"
eventually the League of Villains becomes the League of Vigilantes, yay reformation sort of
all for one fucking dies
fuck the hero commission
there's reluctant "live and let live" attitude to the L of V but all of 1-A loves them
it's great
this isn't v coherent but idk how to explain it better I promise in my head it's amazing lmao
Bringer of Chaos
Tumblr media
With the reveal of you as the UA traitor, 1-A and the Pro Heroes now have to face the war coming to them. By the Bringer of Chaos.
Words- 6.6K
UA!Traitor x MHA, Tomura Shigaraki x Reader (Sibling Relationship)
Warnings: MAJOR Character death, violence, death, Stockholm syndrome, angst, and lots of sadness
A/N: For the readers quirk it’s chaos magic just like Scarlet Witch as well as hero costume. This isn’t a crossover making the reader Scarlet Witch, just that that quirk works for the story and I couldn’t think of any other villain costume. Anyways hope you all enjoy.
Was it fear that she felt.
All their eyes on her.
Heroes think they were in the right but how many people died by their hands. Why say you're a hero if you can’t save them all right?
You had always had a dangerous quirk when you were younger, both your parents were quirkless but when they had you, you had one. Chaos Magic is what they called it the ability to tap into and utilizes the chaotic forces of the universe, capable of warping, manipulating and/or reconstructing reality and probability as well as the very fabric of existence. They had no clue where it came from and from which side of the family passed it down. Two quirkless parents raising a child with a strong quirk, they had no clue what to do.
You were pulled out of school after your quirk had manifested and you made a stuffed animal bear come to life, scaring the class and teacher and forcing you to transform it back to a regular toy. With such a strong quirk your parents were afraid that you could hurt someone when your quirk grew stronger and you were homeschooled for the safety of you but mostly the safety of others.
Society deemed people without quirks useless and not successful, if you had one you better hope it was powerful and flashy or you wouldn’t be going anywhere with your life. When you were younger you looked up to heroes, they saved the day and kept everyone safe from the bad guys. You remembered sitting on the couch with your parents watching the news and seeing the heroes save the day and you would stand up and turn to your parents saying you would become a hero and save everyone. They would smile and tell you if you worked hard enough you would be the next number one hero. With your childhood you were happy everyone was safe, until they weren’t.
The police and heroes said there was nothing they could have done to save them, it was a break-in. They had shown up and slaughtered your parents leaving you there sitting in between their bleeding bodies alone. That was when you knew heroes couldn’t save everyone, the society they live among is corrupt. Heroes looking after popularity votes and looks instead of actually saving lives. Ironically there were others they had similar ideals as you did. You were passed around from foster home to foster home but, no one wanted to deal with a child whose quirk was too dangerous; they didn’t want a villain-like kid.
You were six when you ran away after another foster family sent you back after you had made the dog they had got as a welcoming gift disappear never to return. You kept running until your legs wouldn’t let you move anymore and that’s when he found you.
A portal had opened in the alleyway you had collapsed in and out came a man followed by a boy. The man wore a some sort of ventilator mask that covered the entire of his face and neck, next to him was a boy who had a disembodied hand covering his face. The man never told you his name just holding his hand telling you that you would be able to get revenge on the heroes. You grew to see him as your new father and the boy who told you his name was Tomura as a brother. He was a few years older than you but the time you spent together was when you were meeting father or him watching you train your quirk. Another person in your life when you joined what was now the League of Villains was Kurogiri, father was rarely around so he watched after you and Tomura, he taught you everything you would need to know.
When you joined UA you main goal was to bring down the hero society following after Tomura’s lead, him always reminding you that you would get your revenge. You played your part well not holding back when in fights against villains during the USJ, Kamino Ward, everything fell into place. With talk about the UA traitor within the teachers no one suspected the girl who seemed to have little hold on her quirk, but how wrong they were. All this led to now your former friends looking at you in fear and horror, when it was revealed you were the traitor.
You were completely surrounded by her former teachers standing around you ready to take you down and you kept your gaze on your class.
“Y/n don’t make this harder than it is, please just surrender.” Mr. Aizawa held his scarf in both hands ready to attack if you made any sudden moves.
“And if I don’t? Can you really stop me?” You glance at your teacher and he faltered slightly in his stance.
“You’re completely surrounded by pro heroes, so we can take you down.” Present Mic said making you smirk they have only seen what you showed at progression with your quirk. UA only knows the most you could do is change the integrity of a few objects, nothing on a large scale. They barely gave you time to react with Mr. Aizawa sends his capture weapon towards you to wrap it around you, activating his quirk making his hair rise up and float. The weapon goes straight to you half of it landing on the ground behind you.
You look at him with a bored expression, finding humor in him and the others' shocked expression. “Did you think it would be that easy?” You knelt grabbing the end of his capture weapon and he tries to use it but it doesn’t affect you. “What would a simple cloth feel like if it weighed more than that.” A red haze covers the cloth leading up to his neck and slams into the ground, the weight of the scarf alone slowly starts to suffocate him. Present Mic and Midnight rush to him trying to pry the scarf off him.
“Mr. Aizawa!” Class 1-A yells seeing their teacher struggle. Dropping the scarf from your end you look around at your teachers who know they can’t stop you and your classmates.
“Don’t think this is over,” You hear an explosion and someone running towards you, “You bastard get back here!” Bakugo yells, holding his hand out sending a huge explosion. The smoke clears and there is Bakugo panting out of breath looking around for you, but you’re nowhere to be found. The red haze surrounding Aizawa’s scarf disappears, sending him shooting upwards, throwing it off him as he coughs and wheezes. The 1-A and the Pros look to where you once stood, if that was just some of your power, they had no clue what was in store for them if you came back.
In an abandoned warehouse the league hears footsteps heading towards the room they were in. Each of them ready to fight and kill the intruder, the footsteps getting louder until it was right in front of the room.
“That’s funny thinking your quirks could stop me.” A familiar voice calls out through the door as they open it. You stand in front of them and they relax welcoming you in. Standing away from them was Tomura Shigaraki, he was scratching his neck frantically but stopped when he heard your voice. You walked closer to the man you saw as a mentor, as a brother. You stood next to him as he looked out the warehouse window showing the vast city that was part of Japan.
“Tomura...it’s time.”
With your reveal as the UA traitor the school was put on lockdown immediately once you left in fear you would return but not alone. Your face was plaster across the news worldwide ranking you as national alert. News articles found everything about you with your parent’s death, your disappearance from the orphanage to your life at UA. They speculated that you could be in correlation to the league which made you more of a threat, if you had connections to All for One or Tomura Shigaraki.
“Funny how one moment you were just a UA student, now you’re public enemy number one.” Spinner smirks, tossing you the latest newspaper that talked about you. You smirked as you made the newspaper disappear before it could hit you and reappear behind Spinner hitting him in the back of the head.
“They say the same crap as always, not my fault heroes don’t know how to do their jobs.” You go back to laying on the couch closing your eyes, blocking out the noise of the villains around you. You hear the door open and footsteps bounding towards you jumping on the couch crushing you under their weight.
“Y/nnnnnn I missed you so much when you were gone. It’s boring being the only girl here with Mange gone and you always at UA.” Toga wraps her arms around you squeezing the living life out of you.
“Toga if you don’t let me go, I swear I will turn you into a bug.” You open one eye glaring at her and she sighs getting off you mumbling under her breath.
“How much longer do we have to keep waiting we’ve been in this stupid warehouse for the past week.” Dabi said, kicking a can away from where he was standing.
“Yeah I wanna fight, no let’s relax.” Twice responses, god they were annoying as hell.
You huff sitting up look at them, “When Tomura says he’s ready we’ll go until then shut up and let me rest.”
“And why should we listen to what you have to say, you’re younger than any of us.” Dabi gets up in your face and you clench your jaw waiting for him to do something.
“You should watch what you say next, we know who could win in this fight.” You stand both of you up in each other's face.
“Yeah what are you gonna do about it, huh” He smirks and he goes to speak again but his breath hitches as he grabs his throat.
“What’s the problem Dabi? Have something to say?” He falls to his knees as he tries to breath but is unable to. “You feel that right your lungs are failing on you, do you know how easy it is to kill you right now.” You squat in front of him grabbing his face, your hand covered in a red haze when you use your quirk.
“You made your point Y/n stop it.” Toga grabs your shoulder.
“No, he seems like he has something to say right, Dabi.” Tears fill his eyes as he is practically blue in the face.
“That’s enough Y/n.” Tomura calls out and you stop using your quirk as him and Mr. Compress enter the room. Dabi sucks in air coughing profusely Twice, Toga, and Spinner goes to his aid as he regulates his breath lightheaded from the rush of new oxygen. “You all act like children.” Tomura says walking past you all going to the window looking out to the city.
“Whatever.” You roll your eyes sitting back on the couch. “The Nomus are ready, my army is ready.” He turns to look at you all. “You all know what you have to do, so get to it.” He says and they all leave, Dabi walking past you glaring at you with you glaring back. Leaving only the two of you left in the room, you stand next to him as you both look at the calm city that will be thrown into chaos.
“Father would be proud of you Tomura.” You place your hand on his shoulder and he nods.
“You know what to do, you are the biggest piece in the puzzle. You know UA in and out, give them hell.” You nod looking at the man you see as family, the calm before the storm.
“I’ll see you on the other side Tomura.”
The van you were in stopped a few blocks away and you climbed out of it looking back at the villains sitting in it. “Don’t fuck it up Y/n.” Dabi says and you smirk. “You just do your job.” The clothes you were wearing transform into your old school uniform. The league drives away leaving you to walk the rest to UA, they would have no clue what hit them.
With your disappearance UA had been hesitant but continued school as normal, with the dorms they had up campus security and included a strict curfew for the safety of the students. Many students were surprised when they heard  that you were the traitor while others found it ironic that someone from 1-A the hero course was actually a villain. 1-A atmosphere had definitely change since the reveal, some were easier at coming to peace that who they thought was their friend was actually a traitor while others still couldn’t believe it. The class seemed dull with you gone. You had put on a convincing performance, actually forming friendships with your classmates some seeing you as family which broke them even more. Midoriya lost some sort of sparkle since you had left, he saw you as one of his closest friends and felt like this seemed like his fault why didn’t he see the signs. Your curiosity for everyones quirk specifically his, you seemed to have a love for heroes and he had shown you his notebook with list upon list of everyone with their quirks and their strength and weakness. He let her get exactly what she needed that would affect heroes and the students because he saw her as a friend.
Mr. Aizawa went on about the lesson but Izuku drowned out most of his talking his gaze to the window showing the walkway to the front of the school. Every few minutes he could see cars driving past the entrance, but what caught his eye was someone walking down the path that led to the building. From this distance he couldn’t make out a face but they were a student from the uniform, but why were they there? It was already the middle of the school day and they should be in class. As if his questions were answered an alarm went off shocking the students
“Intruder alert! Please evacuate the building. Intruder alert!” The intercoms repeat as the alarm continues.
Everyone is grabbing their bags, “It’s probably just the press like last time.” Kirishima says as they get ready to leave, but Midoriya is still locked onto the figure walking to the building, they had no school bag and didn’t seem like they were in a hurry as they got closer. Whoever was walking looked up towards the building and Midoriya felt ice enter his veins seeing their face.
“Hey Deku come on we have to go.” Uraraka grabs his arm to pull him away from the window but he is frozen in shock and fear. His classmates look at him confused at his unnaturally pale face.
“Deku you idiot we have to leave.” Bakugo yells at him standing at the door where Mr. Aizawa was waiting impatiently as they needed to evacuate as a group.
“She’s here.” Midoriya said, and the class had a pretty good idea who “she” was.
“None of you leave this classroom, you got it.” Mr. Aizawa pushed them back in, closing the door, locking it and rushing to go to the other teachers leaving 1-A locked in the class unable to do anything but watch out the window.
“This is crazy, why is she back?” Kaminari said as they all tried to look out the window to see you.
“Whatever reason the Pros will stop her.” Ida said having faith in the heroes.
“You saw what she did last time she was here she almost killed Mr. Aizawa!” Mineta cried out.
“If it’s a fight that’s coming I’m not gonna sit around and wait for her to get here. Where’s the button to open our lockers” Bakugo yelled, going to Mr. Aizawa's desk looking for the button so they could get their hero costumes.
“That isn’t smart Kacchan we thought she wasn’t that advanced with her quirk but if she is that strong and involved with the league of villains we are ants compared to her.” Midoriya tried to reason with him.
“I think Bakugo is right,” Momo said which shocked most of the class, “We need to be logical with this, she’s back here for a reason, she wouldn't be coming back if she didn’t have a plan or someone specific she’s after. She is not our friend anymore right now she’s the enemy and if we want any chance of surviving this we can’t be on a lower level than her.” With Momo’s speech their thoughts were decided, they would have to prepare to fight if they wanted to come out of this alive.
You knew the Pros would be here any minute after you heard the alarm go off. You stood in front of the fountain waiting for them to arrive, you knew that this fight some people wouldn’t make it out but the heroes need to get the punishment they deserve. The loud screech from Present Mic when using his quirk could bring anyone down caused you to press your hands against your ears. You could endure this if it meant saving up energy for your quirk. You felt the capture weapon surround your body and the screaming stop and you collapsed to the ground.
“Ms. Y/n we weren’t expecting you to show up but it seems that we were still able to take you down.” You knew you couldn’t use your quirk unlike last time when that had been an illusion you just needed to wait.
“Funny Nezu you always think you're one step ahead.” You smirk looking up at the principal, “I know I’m always one step ahead.” You could smell the fire and there it was the blue flames growing from the forest.
“It’s the League of Villains!” Midnight gasped coming out of the forest were hordes of Nomus each with different quirks.
“You're sure you’re one step ahead?” You smirk and they knew you were just a decoy. The teachers outside had no choice but to deal with the Nomus heading towards the school and to where you were.
Leaving just Aizawa and Nezu to deal with you, “You are much smarter than I expected.” You shrugged and Aizawa tightened his weapon making you laugh
“I was told to give them hell.” With that you swept your foot out from under Nezu and Aizawa causing them both to jump back, with the split second it that Aizawa eyes closed you vanished from his binds. “Truly wonderful time seeing you again, but the fight has barely begun.” Aizawa doesn’t have time to fight you as he is attacked by a Nomu.
Nezu studies you and you stare back at him, “I don’t understand why you’ve done this but we will stop you.”
You grin “You heroes say that but we both know how this ends.” You disappeared from the battle leaving the teachers fighting the Nomus and the students inside defenseless against you.
“Where did she go?!” Sero said seeing you disappear from their view. With the doors locked they couldn’t leave so they stood in the classroom in their hero costumes waiting for the fight to come to them.
“We know that she’s with the league for all we know they could be in the building already and with the teachers outside we would open for an attack.” Midoriya said seeing you easily get captured only for you to be a decoy for the league to appear, it was genius.
“Midoriya, always thinking about the correct things, that was something I liked about you.” You said making the class turn from the window to where you were sitting on top of your desk in the back. “Great to see you all again.” You smiled and your classmates grimaced at you.
“You're a bitch you know that.” Bakugo hissed, making you frown.
“That hurts my feeling, Kacchan.” You hopped off your desk walking towards them, none of them moving  when you stood in front of your classmates.
“You guys are smart putting on your costumes, cause out there seems like the final battle, but this is the beginning of the war.” You said and conveniently when you finished rumbling when through the building and loud explosions went off.
Out the window the view showed buildings away from UA erupting into flames explosions happening every few blocks. 1-A watched in horror that this is what she meant by war not just UA and the league, the entirety of villains and heroes battling it out; utter chaos. “With that we sadly won’t be needing you all. I say this as your former classmate and friend, stay the hell out of my way I don’t wanna hurt you.” The class doesn’t have time to fight back or anything when it feels like the ground is taking out from under them and they are warped away.
The teachers outside are struggling with Nomus keep showing up, suddenly they all freeze and walk away from the heroes heading to the building stopping in front of it as if they were guarding it. Aizawa wipes away the blood from his face “What the hell is this.” He sighs.
“Mr. Aizawa!” He hears his students yell out to him and sees them running towards him.
“What are you all doing here I told you to stay inside.” He scolds them
Ida steps up from the group, “It was Y/n she appeared in the class and then warped us all away, there were other students as well. I believe everyone in the building is now outside.” Aizawa looked back to the building that was guarded by Nomus.
“We don’t know why they would take the building but remove the students but we need to take headcount to see if everyone is actually outside. With what is happening in the city and here heroes are spread thin. This is exactly what they had planned but why go after UA and how is Y/n involved in all this.” The teachers didn’t deal with any problems with the league or Nomu they all just seemed to stop after the students were outside. Part of the forest that was destroyed by the flames was used as a base for heroes and students, everyone was outside not a single student was missing. Which put out the question of what they were after.
“Not a single student is missing, heroes from outside of Musutafu are coming in, but even then we don’t know how many villains or Nomus they might have.” Midnight told Nezu. Some of the teachers were together discussing their next plan while others were watching the students.
“We can assume that the League is in the building, we need to figure out a plan to fight them but also keep the students safe.” Aizawa said, looking over to where his class was.
“The only two people that have a decent amount of info on the league would be Aizawa and All Might.” Nezu said, “You had Y/n as a student though she never showed us the full potential of her quirk, you know her as a student. Whether her personality she showed to everyone was a lie, lies are built on truth. We need to remember she is still a child she could be manipulated to believe what she’s doing is right.” The teachers nodded, you were just a child that could be forced in the middle of this war, “Does anyone know where All Might we need some more information on the League.” The teachers looked at each other, no one had seen All Might at all. With him becoming quirkless because of Kamino he wasn’t outside when the heroes fought the Nomus. Then it hit the heroes, that’s what they were after.
“You think they figured out you are gone yet? All Might.” You asked, turning away from the window to where All Might sat tied up. “Think the new Symbol of Peace is going to be able to stop this.” You walked over to where he was and sat down in front of him.
“Y/n I don’t know why you’ve done this, but being with the League of Villains will not help you get what you want.” He tries to reason with you.
“What I want you can’t give, the next best thing is getting revenge on those who failed to save them.” You looked at the frail man sitting in front of you. “Do you know what it’s like losing everyone in your life? My parents died because you heroes failed to protect them. You call yourself a hero but you still fail to help those in need. I wanted to become a hero but my quirk was too dangerous for the public. I had no one when they died, no one wanted the girl whose quirk was literally chaos. They found me, took me in and raised me, they were the only ones who actually cared for me.” You said, tears forming in your eyes recalling your horrible childhood.
“They took you in because they saw your quirk. All for One only saw you as a pawn in his game, Shigaraki “raised” you so you would fight alongside him instead of against him.” All Might explained and you stood up, the chair behind you slamming against the floor.
“You’re wrong..they care for me.” You point your finger at him proving to him but he could see that you were doubting yourself.
“They’re using you Y/n what you are doing is leading you down a path that you can’t turn back from.” You turned away from him looking out the window seeing the Pros standing on the pathway, waiting for the fight to begin.
You could see heroes all around Japan here ready to fight, you could also see UA students ready to fight including 1-A. “Those idiots.” You mumbled. “This is the end for heroes All Might, I will get my revenge.” You exit the room walking down the hallway to the main conference room where the League was waiting as well as villains from all over Japan.
Tomura looks at you and you nod telling him you're ready, “Our time for hiding in the shadows is over, the reign of heroes will end today.” The villains cheer rushing out going to fight the heroes. You don’t move as villains pass by you including members of the League leaving as well. You feel a hand on your shoulder making you look up, “Are you alright?” Tomura asks and you nod, the sick feeling still in your stomach from what All Might said to you.
“Tomura...I’m not a pawn in all this.” You knew that you were needed in getting your revenge that’s what father told you, but were you expendable if need be.
“You are the one that is going to change the future, a bringer of chaos, Master will be proud of us both.” Tomura said and you felt the tension in you loosen a bit, “You be safe okay Tomura.” He doesn’t say anything just nodded and left you alone. What you were doing was right, the path you were following was dark but was the right one.
The showdown between villains and heroes as they stood on opposite sides neither moving yet. “We have visuals on Shigaraki and other members of the League, no visual of Y/l/n.” Aizawa heard through the comm links everyone was given, there were four squads made, squad 1 deals with underground villains, squad 2 deals with the Nomus surrounding the building, squad 3 will deal with the League and Y/n if she shows up on the field, and squad 4 will being helping in the rescue of All Might. Most of the top Pros were involved in squad 2 and 3 while lesser heroes dealt with the lesser villains and the All Might rescue.
“How long are they going to keep standing here, either fight or surrender.” Endeavor said looking at the villains standing there waiting.
“Everyone behind us!” The heroes turned and there was Y/n with villains behind her as well as a few Nomus.
“It’s an ambush!” Aizawa yells and the villains on both sides rush to attack the heroes in the middle. The thundering footsteps rush past you as they attack heroes in front of you, with your entrance on the field you disappear appearing back in the room where All Might was in.
From the window you could see Villains and heroes fought for their lives, many getting injured, some fatally wounded. “You see this All Might, heroes and villains together fighting for their lives, where’s the peace now. There is only chaos.” You glanced behind you looking at the former Pro before turning back to watch the fight.
“I’m sorry.” You hear All Might say, “I’m sorry we couldn’t save your parents, you don’t deserve to have all this hate and sadness in your life.”
You froze staring down watching your comrades and allies being hurt and your former friends and mentors dying due to your goals. “I wanted to help people. I wanted to be the kind of hero that saves everyone so no one is alone in their life. You can’t save me All Might you said so yourself I’m too far down this path to be saved.” You turn to him and he sees glimpses of the person you were in school, a curious girl with a strong quirk ready to help anyone in her class. You were just a child but you have had more problems than anyone has dealt with in a lifetime.
“We can help you, just help us stop this, we can get you the life you always wanted.” All Might pulled against the restraints pleading to you.
“We both know how this fight ends, I’m never going to get that happy ending.” You turned around to look back at the fight when you saw the door entering the room was slightly open. “Smart All Might, distract me with some sappy excuse so the heroes could get in and save you. Who’s here, someone who could be invisible, Hagakure or Asui I know you were working on camouflage with your quirk.” You call out a red haze surrounding your hands ready to fight the intruder. You have no time to react when the window you were standing in front of shatters due to an explosion, another being sent to you sending you flying across the room. You hit the wall, denting it slightly, looking up to see Bakugo, Midoriya, Todoroki, as well some heroes and other students from other classes. “You’re all so good, coming to save him it’s pathetic.” You spit out blood that pooled in your mouth.
“Fight then, though a school uniform wouldn’t be the best suited for this.” Bakugo smirks looking at the uniform you were still in. You smirk getting up groaning slightly from how hard you hit the wall.
“Let’s change into something more suitable.” You slowly walk to them your outfit changing as a red haze starts from your feet changing your clothes. You now wore a red chestplate with angular faulds extending into an ankle-length skirt, elbow-length red fingerless gloves, black trousers and thigh-high boots, and an intricate red crown.
“You had to ask.” Todoroki looks over to Bakugo. Bakugo rushes towards you sending an explosion at your face but it fazes right through you.
“Gonna have to try harder then that.” You laugh now on the other side of the room holding All Might in your grasp blasting the people by him away. A blast of ice is sent to you but you dodge out of the way, with the ice distracting you. Midoriya punches you in the gut sending you flying out of the building down to where the fight was. Bakugo jumps out of the building grabbing onto you using his other hand to send an explosion sending you both shooting straight into the ground making a small crater.
Bakugo hears a groan and smirks, “Not that quick are you..” The dust clears out and Bakugo is shocked to see Midoriya underneath him instead of you. “How the hell did she.” He gets up pulling up Midoriya who holds his ribs in pain. “Where the hell did she go.” He looks around at the fighting around him not given much time to think as villains attack him.
You smirk running through the fight trying to find Tomura even if they were able to rescue All Might the heroes had just as many casualties then you did. You see Tomura disintegrate someone's arm pushing them away, but you could see he was getting overwhelmed with many Pros after him. You rush towards him but a wall of orange flames blocks you from reaching him. You turn to see who sent the flames and there was the number one hero Endeavor.
“You killed innocent people.” He says making his way towards you.
“I’m reshaping the future” You get ready to fight and Endeavor sends a blast of fire towards you and you could feel the heat from the blast. Before it could hit you blue flames appear blocking the attack.
“Go we both have our jobs.” You see Dabi standing in front of you, the flames growing in both men’s hands, both him and Endeavor ready to fight. You nodded running off to Tomura, Dabi can handle himself, like he said we each had our own jobs. You see Snipe aiming his gun towards Tomura and you stand in front of him. The bullets float in midair and you send them flying back in different directions. Some hitting heroes, others hitting villains you couldn’t care as long as Tomura was safe.
“They got All Might, what now.” You stand back to back with him using your quirk to break heroes bones, sending people flying across the field.
“Get the league here we leave now.” He answers, pressing his hand on a hero's face instantly disintegrating them. You spread your hands out closing your eyes, getting a picture of each member on the field and warping them to your location.
“That was a weird feeling.” Toga giggles, throwing a knife into someone’s leg.
“Time to go now.” Tomura says.
You hold your hands out and a portal opens up in front of you. Villains that are close to the portal rush to it as they don’t want to be left behind, and the heroes see this and rush to stop you all.
“You guys go, I can handle them.” You sent a wave of energy towards the heroes nearby, sending them back. “See I got thi-”
You heard it before you felt it. In all the noise and chaos happening around you it’s funny how this small noise from far away you heard. Maybe your quirk knew what was going to happen and in some sick way warned you knowing you wouldn’t be fast enough to stop it. Two sharp pains went through your body and you jolted a bit when they hit you. Why did it suddenly feel like everything was in slow motion, why was it hard to breath, god why is everything so quiet.
You look over at the League and you see Toga screaming but being held back by Mr. Compress, Spinner was standing there shocked looking at you, and Twice and Dabi were holding Tomura back as he struggled in their grasp screaming your name. All this was happening but it was quiet. You look down at your costume and you see two bullet holes blood staining it, one in your chest where your heart is the other in your stomach. Time sped up and the noise returned as you fell to your knees coughing out blood.
“Y/N! NO LET ME GO!” You hear Tomura scream, you hold out your hand.
“Go!” You wheeze, grabbing your chest as you cough up more blood. You look at each of them taking in an image of them as Mr. Compress pulls Toga through the portal, Spinner following after him, you see Tomura still struggling trying to get to you. You make eye contact with Dabi and just nod and he gives you a solemn one back using all his and Twice’s strength to pull Tomura through. You look at Tomura and smile, you would see each other some day.
“Tomura you look after me just like a big brother does! That’s what Kurogiri told me when I asked him.” A younger version of you smiles up to Tomura and he looks at you kneeling down to your height.
“I’ll always be with you and protect you.” He placed his hand on your head making sure to keep one finger up. You smile and giggle hugging him tightly burying your face in your chest.
“Thanks Tomura.”
With the last amount of strength left in you, you wave your hand closing the portal once Tomura has completely disappeared. You feel your weight shift unable to keep yourself up on your knees and fall to the ground. You saw green lightning and they caught you before you hit the ground. You see Midoriya’s face above you yelling out to someone but you're focused on the sky and how you could see the colors change as it almost reaches sunset.
“Hey come on stay awake help is on the way just stay awake.” You see his tear filled eyes stare down at you.
“Why..I’m a bad guy.” You wheeze and he laughs, tears filling his eyes.
“No one is ever truly bad.” You smile looking back towards the sky, “Hey come on don’t give up on me.”
You hear footsteps run up and it’s Aizawa and All Might. “Come on Midoriya.” Aizawa goes to pull him away but you grab Izuku’s arm.
“Please don’t leave me.” You whimper, tears filling your eyes. Izuku nods with tears in his eyes falling. “You heroes...always see the good.. in others...it’s nice.” You smile looking up at the sky and a tear slides down your face, and you wince feeling the sharpness in your chest. “I don’t wanna die.” You cry and that breaks the heroes standing in front of you.
“Your not going to help is going to be here any minute.” Aizawa reassures you and nods.
“The sky it’s pretty…tell them I’m sorry.” You cough your breathing getting more shallow and faint and you could swear you saw two figures standing above you. “momma... papa.”
She felt fear at first but it was inner peace as you saw a bright light.
Midoriya looks down ready to comfort you to tell you that help is coming, but stops when he sees you. Your gaze is on the sky, your eyes blank, a small smile on your face finally at peace.
Izuku lets out an anguish cry when he sees your chest not rising anymore. He cries for many reasons, the pain you went through to make you a villain, the hate you must have felt fighting your former friends, and him and all the heroes failing you.
The battlefield was silent as they looked at the young boy holding her body, many heroes felt guilt ebb at them for letting a misguided child die due to this life. Students from UA are lost at words from the loss of a former friend and student, they never expected this to come this far. Students from 1-A cry, seeing their classmate hold the body of their former classmate. Teachers and heroes that knew her look away not wanting to see her body in fear they would fall apart or cry in front of others.
This day would be remembered for years to come as the day the heroes failed at saving one girl that needed the most saving.
IOTA Reviews: Queen Banana
Tumblr media
LINK TO “SOLE CRUSHER” REVIEW
After months of delays and waiting, the episode I've been dreading the most has finally aired. I feel like I was a little too harsh on “Truth”, “Lies”, and “Gang of Secrets”, because you know what? At least they tried. They tried to portray the Lukanette breakup in a serious matter. They tried to portray the Adrigami breakup in a serious manner. They TRIED to show the toll being Guardian was taking on Marinette mentally. Sure, they all failed miserably, but at least I can give them an A+ for effort.
This episode... does not get that. We all know that Astruc didn't even think of trying to portray the debut of Chloe's replacement with respect or dignity. This episode is absolutely, wholeheartedly, 100% Astruc's way to SPITE all of the people in the Miraculous fandom who liked Chloe or saw something good in her. He's already compared her to a controversial political figure, a slave owner, an abuser, and a rapist, so it's not like he's even worried about getting hate for the way he portrayed Chloe in this episode. After all, Chloe has always been an irredeemable monster, and anyone who says otherwise is just another one of Astruc's “haterz”.
So, after putting it off for so long, it's time for me to finally get into the eighth (chronologically the eighth and eighth episode in the season after “Mr Pigeon 72”) episode of Miraculous Ladybug's fourth season: Queen Banana.
We start out with something we rarely see in this show anymore, Marinette actually designing something. Yeah, remember she's a fashion designer? I think this is the first episode since “Cat Blanc” to highlight Marinette's creative side like this. She's designing costumes for a student film while supervised by the art teacher and one of his former students, the “famous director” Thomas Astruc.
Wasn't the whole reason Astruc's self-insert got akumatized in “Animaestro” because nobody actually gave a damn about him? Now he's a big name in the industry? Did the Ladybug and Cat Noir movie do that well with critics and audiences that it suddenly propelled him to stardom in less than a year? It's almost like Astruc threw in that line just to boost his own ego.
Of course, Chloe sees the news report on the movie and doesn't take the news where Zoe is the star well.
Tumblr media
Well of course she has the lead role, she's supposed to replace y—oh, right. You meant the movie. Yeah, that's also a reasonable complaint.
Also, for some reason, she's eating some bananas, which Sabrina actually brought with them to the school. Why? Probably the same reason Chloe made a big deal about her family crushing losers underneath their shoes or some crap like that.
Even though she wanted no part in the movie before, now Chloe starts demanding to be the lead, threatening to sic her father on the production team.
We then get a montage of Chloe demanding the movie make changes, like a new heroine as the star called Queen Banana (TITLE DROP!), giving her a banana themed vehicle, making Adrien play a hostage for the villain, a dynamite throwing gorilla, and the extras to all praise the glory of Satan. Okay, that last one didn't really happen, but given all the stuff he's compared her to, would you really put it past Chloe to compare her to a Satinist?
This montage is yet another example of Astruc attacking the critics of the show, as well as executives who meddle in the show sometimes. There have been a handful of instances of Astruc claiming that because the show was written so far in advance, nothing can be changed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ignoring the fact that there are several examples of viewer response influencing production of a show, like how Legends of Tomorrow's fifth season premiere addressed and undid a lot of the things fans hated about the previous season, this is an incredibly ridiculous argument to make. For the love of God, the animators just had to change the design of a character last-minute THIS YEAR because they were accused of whitewashing!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is that the only way something can be changed last-minute? To avoid getting bad press?
And of course, the episode tries to portray Astruc as the well-meaning creator who has to learn how frustrating the executives, I mean Chloe's meddling is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In some regards, I get what he's going for, but it's a little hard to take his argument seriously when his planned script is intentionally upsetting people who DARE to have a different view on one of his characters.
After everyone gets fed up with Chloe's demands, they decide to film the whole thing behind her back, naturally pissing her off. She tries to get her father to come down on them, but it turns out Gabriel loved the whole thing, especially the part where Adrien obediently stayed in the cage while filming, causing Chloe to storm out. Adrien tries to confront her and get her to apologize.
SO. MANY. PROBLEMS.
First off, of course ADRIEN is the one to call out Chloe here. Sure, he was her biggest defender for the stuff she did, even scolding Marinette for being happy when it looked like she was going to leave Paris (and unintentionally set the events of “Miracle Queen” in place because he convinced Marinette to give her the Bee Miraculous again, but we're never going to acknowledge that), but he chooses NOW to demand she apologize? Not for attempting to Spider-Man 2 a train and risking a lot of lives, not for all the acts of sabotage she performed the entire show, not teaming up with Hawkmoth and exposing the identities of the other heroes, but it's THIS? Screwing up the production of a movie? It's not even the first time she's done this! Of all the things you could make the breaking point in Chloe and Adrien's relationship, it's this? Again, the events of “Miracle Queen” are never mentioned at all in this episode.
Second, you're having Adrien cite that bit from “Despair Bear”? First of all, that was so minor, it'll be hard for viewers to get the context or else they'll assume it happened off-screen. Second, Adrien went back the second he saw Chloe be mean to Marinette again at the end of that episode, playfully saying that “she'll never change”. Of course now, since it's Adrien, he always has to take the moral high ground, even if it doesn't line up with his previous interactions with Chloe.
Third, this is what makes Chloe give up on her friendship with Adrien? Not all the times he sided with Marinette? Not any of the times he foiled her schemes? It's the damn movie again? I thought he was your rich best friend to pamper? You're just giving up your arm candy like that? The writers are burning so many bridges, I think they're delirious from all the smoke they inhaled.
As Chloe storms off, Gabriel transforms into Shadowmoth and sends out an Akuma and an Amok to Chloe, transforming her into an Akuma called Queen Banana with a gorilla Sentimonster called Banana Boom Boom. Of course they gave it a stupid name like that. It's implied that with her specifically requesting certain powers and abilities as Queen Banana, as well as remembering what happened after she was de-evilized, Chloe intentionally accepted the akumatization. Do you hate Chloe yet? Come on, do you? Every minute you still like Chloe, the writers kill a colony of bees.
Tumblr media
Queen Banana is... ugh... what can I even say about this? The animators intentionally gave her a stupid as all hell design that makes me wish she was Miracle Queen again. Again, the banana motif makes no sense, and it doesn't go with the Queen Bee motif. What inspired the animators to think this...
Tumblr media
Looked anything remotely like THIS???
Tumblr media
The car looks okay. It's been a while since we got an Akuma that had their own vehicle, but it feels redundant with the Sentimonster. Queen Banana's powers are stupid. All she can do on her own is turn people into bananas. That's it.
Tumblr media
Her Sentimonster, Banana Boom B—okay, screw it, I'm calling this thing Knockoff Gorizilla. Deal with it. Knockoff Gorizilla has the power to throw exploding bananas that turn people into bananas. That's it.
So Queen Banana attacks the theater the movie was playing at (shooting Sabrina because she’s just that awful), and Marinette gets away with Zoe while Adrien transforms into Cat Noir. Zoe proposes reasoning with her, but Marinette says...
Tumblr media
Yeah, screw reasoning with people! It's not like she just did that with Alya a few episodes ago to break her out of her akumatization, right? Chloe's bad to the core, and you should all hate her now.
Ladybug meets up with Cat Noir, and after some fighting with Queen Banana, summons her Lucky Charm. She really hit the jackpot today, as she got a Vespa, helmets, and everything needed to change a tire.
Ladybug isn't sure what to do, but then she sees Zoe come out like the hero she is. She actually plans to sacrifice herself to save Paris because she's just that awesome.
Cat Noir uses his cataclysm to buy some time while Ladybug and Zoe get away, but accidentally hits Knockoff Gorizilla, driving it out of control. Ladybug retreats with Zoe into a subway tunnel, where she hands her the Bee Miraculous. Of course, in an attempt to show she has character flaws, we see Zoe is unsure of herself, but that's only an excuse for Ladybug to praise her even more.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wow, look at how humble Zoe is. Sure, she's brave, kind, and an amazing actress who is beloved by everyone, but this moment of vulnerability coupled with her vague past make her just as compelling of a character as Chloe. So Zoe takes the Bee Miraculous and transforms into the new Bee hero, Vesperia.
Tumblr media
Okay... look. I'm sorry if I'm being overly negative here, and I feel like I was a little too easy on Pigella's design last time (looking back, I see a lot more flaws like the lack of a pig motif), but come on! In what world is this a bee? The Queen Bee design worked because there was a pattern that resembled the mixture of yellow and black stripes on a real life bee. The Vesperia design is just... what the hell is this? Why are there so many little V's on the suit? Why does she have two long bangs in her hair? Why does she have a mask that makes her look like she has a unibrow? With there being more black in the design than yellow, honestly looks more like Queen Wasp, which was meant to be the evil version of Queen Bee.
Tumblr media
Actually, you know what? It's more like the suit the Black Canary wore during the final season of Arrow, a black jacket with hints of yellow.
Tumblr media
In fact, Arrow did something very similar to what Miraculous Ladybug is doing right now.
During Arrow's fourth season, Laurel Lance, the first (technically second) Black Canary was killed by Damien Darhk, easily one of the most controversial writing decisions in the entire nine-year run of the Arrowverse (A: It was only for shock value. B: It was confirmed to be a last-minute decision by the writers, who set up one of the main characters to die in the season premiere, but didn't know who it would be until a few weeks before Laurel's final episode. C: The writers seriously thought the Black Canary wasn't an important character to the Green Arrow series, and they really should have learned from the backlash they got for killing off Sara Lance last season. D: Laurel's actress, Katie Cassidy, was informed her character was getting killed off two weeks before her death scene was filmed. E: Laurel was only stabbed by an arrow and had access to proper medical care but she still died. F: Laurel had only been the Black Canary for less than a year. G: Laurel's last words to Oliver were propping up the controversial romantic plotline with Felicity. H: This only fed into the theory that executive producer Marc Guggenheim hated Katie Cassidy with all the plotlines he gave her character to deliberately make her unlikable, and then killed her off just when fans were starting to warm up to her. I: Nothing was ever done to bring her back, not even the reality-altering Spear of Destiny or Oliver recreating the multiverse himself. J: We got two separate instances of the writers teasing the audience with the possibility of her return, one where someone stole Laurel's gear, and another with Laurel's evil Earth-2 counterpart, Black Siren).
The next season, we were introduced to the second Black Canary, Dinah Drake. While nobody explicate said she was meant to be better than Laurel, it's clear the writers thought so (A: She's a metahuman with a sonic scream, while Laurel could only recreate the Black Canary's iconic power through a sonic device. B: She's a police officer with a connection to the law, just like how Laurel was the district attorney. C: Her name is the same as the original Golden Age Black Canary, just like how Laurel was named after the second Black Canary). Her debut episode is spent with everyone going on about how awesome she is. Oliver claims that she has better control over her sonic scream than the villainous Black Siren, who once destroyed a skyscraper with her power. One character even described these contrived coincidences as “fate”. She also dashed any fan's hopes that Black Siren would get a redemption arc (she would later get one, but it didn't start until halfway through next season), and replaced Ragman's (while overpowered for this show, was still a more interesting character because of his connection to Felicity) spot on the team. It doesn't help that the editors gave Dinah easily the dumbest-sounding canary cry ever, which sounds more like a turkey being strangled instead of a sonic scream.
youtube
Okay, I know what you're thinking: What does this have to do with Zoe? Well, much like how Dinah's debut episode was spent telling the audience how amazing she is as a replacement for Laurel, the last few minutes of this episode are spent hyping up how much better Vesperia is than Queen Bee.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
youtube
WE GET IT, OKAY? Vesperia is super awesome and incredible and anyone who likes Queen Bee is a brain-dead moron. If you have to tell the audience to like a new character instead of showing any reasons the audience should like them, chances are you need to refresh your writing skills. It was writing like this that made Dinah Drake easily one of the more polarizing characters in Arrow's eight year run, and I have a feeling that Zoe will be viewed the same way in the future given how her hero debut has gone.
So Vesperia taunting Queen Banana (I'm not sure if it's an act or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't an act) manages to distract her, while Ladybug uses some glue from her Lucky Charm to jam Queen Banana's banana gun in its holster while Vesperia takes the bullet for Ladybug instead of Cat Noir, only further showing how selfless she is.
So Ladybug de-evilizes Queen Banana, but Chloe still yells at both her and the super amazing Vesperia for being better than Queen Bee in every way. Ladybug tries to give her a charm to prevent her from getting akumatized again, but Chloe refuses because she's just so evil. This is enough for Shadowmoth to send another Akuma after Chloe, even though he literally just sent out one. Does this mean Shadowmoth can recharge quicker, or did he recharge offscreen?
Apparently, in order for the charm to work, Chloe has to want it, even though in the very next episode that airs, Ladybug just sneaks a charm onto Audrey without her knowing. Thankfully, Zoe, as always, has a great idea. She tricks Chloe into thinking that the charm is from their mother, which does make some sense as Chloe didn't even see the charm before knocking it away. But yeah, this episode once again teaches kids that lying is okay as long as the heroes do it. Yes, it's for a good purpose, but the narrative doesn't really frame it that way or point out what makes Zoe different in any way from Lila.
So for once in his life, Andre actually decides to scold his daughter by refusing to send Zoe back to New York, and even though she accepts the charm (alerting Shadowmoth to their effect on potential Akuma victims), Chloe still says she will get her revenge on Zoe before angrily storming out, and the episode ends with this exchange between Marinette and Tikki.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
NO.
Don't even THINK about doing this. Astruc has insulted anyone who likes Chloe or had the slightest problem with her “damnation arc” for a solid YEAR AND A HALF. I know where this is going. They're going to continue building Chloe up as a menace to society bigger than Shadowmoth while Zoe is this completely pure angel. I mean after all, Chloe has already been replaced. She's served her purpose, and now Zoe will take the spot as the far superior Vesperia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Every Girl is a Super Hero”. Well, every girl except Chloe Bourgeois, judging from the ending image of the episode, which has even more blatant symbolism.
Tumblr media
See, look at this! While Zoe is covered in bright yellow colors while holding the Bee Miraculous with Pollen next to her, Chloe is covered in purple because she's PURE EVIL! Anyone who likes her is a complete psychopath, right?
Some people have asked me why I care so much about Chloe as a character and her failed arc. The answer to that is a little personal. On my main blog, I call myself “One of the Five People Who Actually Liked Ghost”. I say that because of how despite the negative reputation it has among Kamen Rider fans, I like Kamen Rider Ghost. It's by no means a perfect series. There are several plot developments that go nowhere during the second half, and the final villain is very uninteresting while the finale had a shoehorned cameo from the next Kamen Rider. But despite all of that, I never hesitate to call Kamen Rider Ghost my favorite superhero of all time because of the impact he had on the way I view heroism as a whole.
The titular character, Takeru, was killed on his 18th birthday, and had to find fifteen Eyecons (MacGuffins with the souls of historical figures) in order to get a wish he could use on himself before he fades away. Early on, he has a rival in the form of another Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Specter, who was also after the Eyecons, but it was only to save his sister's life. Even the main villains, the Ganma, weren't complete monsters. Some of them had noble qualities, and some even absolved their evil ways. Takeru in general is my favorite superhero because he reached out to a lot of the villains in the show and helped them change for the better. Even people who don't like Kamen Rider Ghost love the character arc Kamen Rider Necrom went through, learning to appreciate humanity with some help from Takeru.
Before I watched Kamen Rider Ghost, I had a very black and white view of the world. I thought that evil needed to be punished, and if the heroes didn't make the villains suffer in any way, they were cowards who weren't willing to do whatever it took to stop them. After I saw all of the ways Takeru reached out to others, and the complex motivations of the “antagonists”, I really saw being a hero in a new light. Because of Kamen Rider Ghost, I had learned that a true hero isn't measured by their strength, but by their compassion and ability to reach out to others, no matter who they are, and see the good in them.
Astruc is the exact opposite of this mentality. He believes that if you do anything bad in your life, change is impossible. It's best to be antagonistic to others and embrace hostility if you get into a disagreement with someone. After all, you're standing up to bullies, so you're not wrong to escalate the conflict.
Tumblr media
This is an incredibly dangerous lesson to teach anyone, especially children. Yes, there are times where diplomacy won't work, but violence should only be a last resort. Outside of de-evilizing Akumas, when has this show ever shown a character using diplomacy to peacefully end a conflict? The few attempts I've seen (Adrien confronting Lila, Ladybug peacefully asking Hawkmoth to hand over his Miraculous) have failed miserably.
We live in an age where it's very easy for a conflict to escalate online, where people can have their lives ruined thanks to the efforts to angry mobs on the internet who disagree with them. I have seen people harassed online all because they shared a differing opinion. What if someone, no matter how old they are, takes away the wrong lesson here and decides to escalate a conflict? Things could end poorly.
Even putting aside the implications of the message, this is still a terrible way to deal with a bully. If you want to teach kids how to deal with bullies, retaliation is not what you should do. That can only make them want to bully you even more, to get on your buttons. Bullies want a reaction. They want to see their victims get all emotional. If you try yelling or attacking your bully, you're not standing up to them, you're only making yourself more vulnerable in an effort to fire back. Nobody should learn this lesson. This lesson is so many shades of wrong.
And now that these episodes are finally over and any hope Chloe might become a better person has been completely decimated, what did I think of them? Well, aside from a few hiccups here and there, they actually weren't that—okay, what do you think?
Yeah, these two episodes have officially dethroned “Felix” as the worst episodes of Miraculous Ladybug in my opinion.
The writing is ridiculous, and the attempts to make the audience like Zoe while giving us no reason to like her other than ramping up Chloe's negative traits to an absurd level, the action was mostly forgettable (though that's been par for the course this season), and of course, the metatextual stuff was frustrating as always. I'm glad Astruc seemingly learned his lesson by having his self-insert take a backseat this episode compared to what he was like in “Animaestro”, but I still don't get why he thought this was a good idea. The first act of this episode was basically insulting fans and executives who liked Chloe and offer suggestions on how to improve this show. Don't like the ideas? Don't think the show can be changed last-minute? Great! You're entitled to your opinion, so don't be surprised when you get a little backlash from fans and critics when they don't like your work, and you especially don't make an entire episode calling them out for it.
And of course, here is the main question I have with the treatment of this character: What exactly was the point of Chloe's “damnation arc”? I don't want to hear anyone like Astruc say what he wanted the audience to feel like they were “betrayed”. What exactly was the purpose of dedicating eleven episodes to setting up a character to be a hero, doing a piss-poor job at giving them character development, having them betray the heroes by working with the villains when you already had another character to do that, replacing them with a brand-new character with the personality of an underbaked sugar cookie instead of making them the hero in the first place, and then claiming that all this was entirely planned from the start and insulting anyone who has a problem with it? Why dedicate so much time to a character arc that went absolutely nowhere and then mock fans for getting invested in it? Why even bother doing ANY OF THIS???
I don't care if you like or hate Chloe, there is just no excuse to waste this much time on what basically amounted to a filler arc. At the end of the day, you could have just made Zoe Vesperia in Season 2 and nothing would have changed. You could have just made Lila Miracle Queen at the end of Season 3 and nothing would have changed. I know I'm not a professional writer, but I just don't get the point of this storyline in any way outside of a personal reason. This is why I believe Chloe was based off a real person. There has to be a story behind Chloe as a character. No creator should hate their own creation this much. You could give me an all-access tour of ZAG Studios and I wouldn't believe Chloe isn't based off someone in real life unless I heard if from Thomas Astruc himself, and even then, I'm not sure if I'd even believe him.
Call it whatever you want; blind optimism, naivete, or just plain stupidity, but I am the kind of person who tries to see the good in others, no matter what they do. There are only a select number of people that I see as complete monsters, and most of them are famous historical dictators. Chloe is nowhere near that level of evil, and I can't believe that a grown man in his mid-fourties believes this. I'm not even sure if I should feel frustration, pity, or a combination of both when it comes to Astruc.
Why he feels this way, we may never know for sure outside of theories, but you should know this: showing compassion is not a weakness. It's important to at least try to see the good in others and reach out to them. Make an effort to help someone out, as hard as it may be. Trying to help others or even trying to change yourself is proof that you aren't as close-minded as Thomas Astruc is.
Class 1-a x New Student Reader
I wrote this to go along with a quirk I made for myself. I'd already made a quirk for a character who's gonna be paired with Kirishima so this is basically just if I was in MHA. It's still an x reader so enjoy. This story is mainly for fun and practice so I can get to know the class 1-a characters for my newest book. It may or may not turn into an actual book.
I just wanna say if I could draw this would probably be in a comic book. But I cannot draw so here we are. Also I haven't read the manga
Warnings? Mineta being a perv
Pairings? Possibly Sero or Todoroki or Shinso... or literally any of the guys I'm in love and i have a problem
Part 1/?
Quirk? It's complicated but based on the chronic illness called Lupus
Tumblr media
You'd heard rumors about how easily Class 1-a attracted trouble. This made you feel better about yourself, but it also made you feel bad. You too had your fair share of trouble run ins. Being sister to the leader of the league villains left you with many watchful eyes in the underground world.
Few heroes knew of your relation and even fewer knew of your quirk. Your mentor, Hawks thought the safest place for you to be was UA. Yes, they'd had a run-in or two with villains, but because of it, they were the most capable to defend and fight with you. And Eraserhead it seemed was a great teacher, maybe he could help you learn to control it.
It was false hope, you knew that. Still, you were excited to meet your new classmates.
"Alright, class we've got a new student. Today's morning lesson will be replaced with you helping her settle in and getting to know her," you could hear Mr. Aizawa's voice from the hallway. He sounded bored and tired almost, but you assumed that was just his nature.
You heard excited chatter and that caused the nerves to worsen.
The principal Mr. Nezu smiled, "Don't worry they’ll like you."
You nodded your head, your fingers pulling at and adjusting your tie. You liked the school uniform, the skirt was shorter than you thought it would be that was an easy fix. Knee-waisted white socks with two red stripes on the top made you feel better.
The door opened and you entered. Aizawa barely glanced at you before nodding to Principle Nezu, "I'm leaving her in your trusted hands." You could hear the door attempting to close behind you which forced you forward. You felt every eye on you.
"This is Y/N L/N," he gestured to you. You'd forgotten your last name was changed, the Tomura sure to drag attention.
You bowed deeply.
"Hello, sorry to barge in your class. Nice to meet you."
You could hear whispers and you unconsciously touched your white horn, one on another side of your head. They were filed down to about two inches, still noticeable in your curly hair. You knew the grey streaks in your hair and in your eyes would cause many questions.
A boy with green hair raised his hand quickly, "What's your quirk?" He asked his eyes sparkling it seemed like.
You bit your lip but before you could answer Mr. Aizawa cleared his throat, "You're all dismissed. I expect her moved in by lunch, you have combat training this afternoon."
A girl with pink hair and yellow horns shook her fist excitedly, "YES! Feels like forever since we've had a lesson like that." Everyone stood up, while Mr. Aizawa slumped into his seat his eyes closing as he rested his head on his desk. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion.
"Don't worry, he does that a lot. I'm Uraraka," one of the girls said and you immediately put her name to her face.
"Nice to meet you," you beamed.
"She's so cute! I'm Mina," the girl with pink skin and yellow horns yelled excitedly.
"Hi! Thank you," you bowed slightly, causing her to shake her head wildly, "Don't bother we're all the same here! I'll introduce you to everyone."
On the way to the dorms, you found easy ways to remember everyone. Somehow each name fit a person. Plus you'd recognized a few people from the sports festival. You were thankful none of them asked personal questions, instead they choose to get to know you on the surface.
"Is your hair naturally that color?" "Yes, it changed its color when I was 6." "Do you play any instruments?" "Kind of, but I can paint better!" "Are you a good fighter?" "I'd like to think so but I guess we'll see this afternoon."
You also began to piece together the groups of close friends, the rivals, and even those who shared certain hobbies or hardships.
"You look nice in a skirt," Mineta complimented a smirk on his face, his mouth-watering. You knew his intentions, still glaring at him seemed to do nothing until Bakugo stepped in front of him his hand filling with small puffs of smoke.
"Thanks," you mumbled as you adjusted your skirt attempting to pull it down.
Bakugo let out a gruff, "Whatever," and joined his group of friends' hands tucked in his pocket.
"Sorry about him," Tsu stepped up next to you, "Mineta is our resident pervert. Be careful around him."
You nodded in thanks.
Your room had most of your bigger things moved in, you figured that was Hawks doing. On your bed were a few pictures clipped together with some picture frames, and journals.
The only thing you had to do was hang your clothes up, fix your desk and put your pictures up. The girls all volunteered, the boys cleaning around the dorm to make you feel more at home.
You hid the pictures figuring you'd go through them later tonight. Besides, being pictured next to a number 2 hero would definitely turn some heads.
"Your Japanese is good but it doesn't sound like your first language," Momo began as the girls made their way down to the common room, "What is your first language?"
You chuckled, "You're very observant, my first language was English, then Japanese, and then Russian," you explained.
Cue excited boys and curious girls.
Denki grinned, "Wow how did you learn?!"
Before you could answer, the bell rang the dorm common room almost seemed to shake. You decided it was only because it was your first time hearing it.
"Come on Dunce face, you'll get your answer at lunch," Bakugo grunted the first to make his way towards the doors leading out of the dorms.
No one argued with him food also on their minds and stomachs.
I hope I can fit in well, you thought to yourself grateful for Mina and Uraraka both of them explaining different things to you. Whether or not you knew what they were you were happy all the same.
