“There can only be one screw up in the family and I’m already here. Get yourself together.”

Aran was shocked when he heard those words leave your lips, but you seemed unbothered as you laughed, phone still pressed between your shoulder and ear as you looked over the team’s training schedule.

“Of course they expect more from you, to them I blew off work for some big company with bonuses to manage a bunch of sweaty dudes. Do I regret it? Well…”

As the door to your office shut softly behind you, Aran found himself hoping and praying for you to step back out. Could it be possible that you regretting signing on to manage their team? You made sure to clean Sakusa’s things separate, using the soap and laundry sanitizer he preferred. You could pull Bokuto out of emo modes so fast that most of the guys would just call you without trying to help themselves. You handled Miya’s ego, could keep Hinata and Kageyama from letting their school age feud leads to fights now. You regularly had to moderate Suna’s online presence, ensure that there were no PR disasters. You were exhausted all the time, you had to stay until the overworking players finally finished and had to show up at dawn to let the early arrivals into the gym, there were times he was convinced you had snapped awake at your desk when he knocked to come in. But you never complained.

You were an integral part of the team being successful, there were no two ways about it.

But if you regretted taking this job, where would that leave them? They would never find someone as good at it as you were, they’d never find someone as dedicated.

And moreso, what would happen to the two of you? Sure, you weren’t together, but Aran felt like you were getting close. You’ve had coffee together, dinner. He knew Atsumu referred to it as the talking stage, the setter claimed it wasn’t passed that until he finally kissed you. But he was afraid to take that step, worried that he may have misunderstood what he saw as flirting on your part. He didn’t want to make the move and be another reason you regretted taking this job if you were just being friendly.

So instead he did what he could.

He called the team in for a meeting, explained the situation as he saw it, and together the team came up with ways to ease your load.

Sakusa started taking his things home, washing them himself no matter how much you promised he didn’t have to.

Komori and Yaku took over Bokuto’s emo mode, never once asking for your aide even when it was offered. They took longer than you would, but it was a fair trade off to them.

Iwa kept Atsumu in check when he needed to be, his long-standing practice with Oikawa lending a hand in knowing what to say and how to act.

Ushijima stepped in whenever Hinata and Kageyama got too close to a boiling point, never choosing one side or the other as he logically acknowledged what each of them said.

Suna stopped recording as much, knowing that if posted anything that the publicity team didn’t like then you’d be the one hearing about.

Aran, for his part, kept an eye on all of them. He started getting up earlier to unlock the gym, staying later so you wouldn’t have to. He was so worried about taking the burden from you that he didn’t even realize how often he missed a text from you because he wasn’t as accustomed to the multitasking that you excelled in.

But what didn’t occur to any of them was how you’d feel about the changes in your routine. Because while they felt like they were helping, easing your load, you started feeling like they didn’t need you.

You couldn’t figure out why Sakusa would snag his things out of your hands like you were dirtying them.

You didn’t understand why Bokuto no longer wanted your help, you had thought there was a bond between you from all the times he sought you out.

Atsumu behaved fine without your intervention now, even though you felt like Iwa’s tough love was too tough sometimes, but the setter never complained to you, so you stayed away.

Ushijima seemed to be a better mediator than you ever were, keeping the two of them in line and on the right side of their friendly rivalry.

You no longer had to check Suna’s phone, because with everyone taking care of the others it was like there was no longer an excitement for him to pull out his phone to record.

And with your new free time came less communication. Your friends on the team didn’t reach out as much, Aran didn’t respond as much or as quickly as he used to. That’s probably the bit that hurt you the most as the days seemed to dragged on until suddenly it had been weeks. You had really believed he liked you, but now it was like you had just been convenient.

They didn’t need you anymore, maybe they just didn’t want you either.

Kuroo sighed, waiting as the players filled the seats in the conference room in a mess of loud noises lacking coordination. When they finally settled down, he gave them a solemn look, “I wanted you guys to be the first to know, but Y/N has tendered their resignation to me.”

“WHAT!?” He couldn’t be sure which players yelled it, too many voices drowning each other out as they started arguing, but he pushed on.

“I don’t know what’s been going on, all I can say for certain is that something has changed in the last few weeks.” He frowned as he looked at them, “Y/N said they weren’t needed anymore. Said you guys must’ve figured out how you needed to cover the things they helped with.”

“This isn’t what was supposed to happen…” Aran muttered to himself, weren’t they supposed to be helping you? “Have you turned it over to the Olympic Committee yet? Give me a chance to get them to withdraw the resignation.”

Kuroo shook his head, “I’ve known Y/N a lot of years. Seen them manage all different types of players. I know they can handle all kinds of issue. It makes me wonder what happened, so I thought I’d let you guys explain. Maybe we can figure it out and get Y/N to reconsider.”

So Aran explained what he heard, the assumptions he’d made, just like he did for the team. In hindsight, he should’ve just asked you what was too much.

“Please reconsider.” You looked up from where you were emptying your desk, the box momentarily forgotten as you looked at the outside hitter standing in the doorway. “We don’t want to you to leave.”

“You guys don’t need me.” You smiled softly, sadly, “You’ve made it clear.”

“You’re wrong.” Aran said quickly, taking a step toward you. He needed to fix the damage he caused. He couldn’t lose you like this, not because he tried to fix a problem that didn’t exist when he should’ve talked to you instead. “We would be a mess without you. I just- I talked the guys into picking up their own slack. I heard you on the phone one day, when someone asked if you regretted taking the job here. I realized how much pressure we put on you.”

“I like the pressure.” You offered, shaking your head with a smile, “Yeah, it’s a lot. Yeah, I get exhausted and overwhelmed sometimes. But it’s still me doing my part. I like meeting Sakusa’s particular needs, I like helping Bokuto get back to himself so he can annoy you guys, I like being someone you guys feel like you can depend on. If you had heard all of it, you’d have heard me say that I’ve never regretted the decision to come here. But more than all of that…” you took a deep breath, taking his hand in yours as you stared into his eyes, “More than all of that, I like you. I like how close we’ve gotten because of the job I do, I like knowing that I make a difference in your day.”

Pressing a kiss to your forehead, Aran leaned back to take your face in his free hand, “So stay here. Do the job the way it’s done best- by you. Don’t make it a regret by leaving.”

I walked into the dorms, seeing everyone talking and laughing. just having fun. Nobody saw me walk in, and if they did, they just didn't acknowledge me. So I just walked around then and headed toward the hallway leading toward the dorms.

I walked to my dorm room and opened the door. I went to lay my dorm key down on the table beside the door when I saw a tiny note. I grabbed the tiny note and opened it to see Y/N's handwriting.

Dear Ojiro,

I know this is random, but! I just wanted to tell you that I love you and that you're very special to me and I couldn't imagine my life without you in it.

Two months ago: The day the outbreak started

Class 3-A shook as the news on the tv displayed had gotten to them. Some silently cried while others boarded up the windows and doors, and others repeatedly told themselves that this isn't real, this is all a dream. Cass 3-A was days away from graduating, they only had a week left.

Some were going to college out of state, and some planned on working, but it seemed the world had different plans for them.

"Barricade the doors with couches, chairs, tables, anything!" Shota Aizawa, their teacher, demanded his students as he was busy piling up chairs near the window. Over a little while ago, Denki Kaminari had came into the dorms with bloody clothes and a panicked, frightened look.

The students had asked him what was wrong and what's going on but Denki had only replied with a shaky voice, "I don't know, people are just ea–eating each other."

Ochaco Uraraka, Mina Ashido and Momo Yaoyorozu tried to comfort him, but he was shaking badly and kept repeating Minoru Mineta names. It was a hunch, but the blood on Denki’s clothes belonged to Minoru.

While Denki was in the corner freaking out, Shota grabbed his phone from the pocket as it kept ringing. Seeing it, he received a notification from Toshinori Yagi and his friend Hizashi Yamada. The message had said to report to the highschool and to not let any students follow him.

Although he was a bit reluctant to leave his students, he imagined that there were other students trapped at the school and needed help. So he turned to the student and tried to remain calm, "I need you all to listen. I need you all to stay here till this is over. I imagine a rescue team will come, so until then stay here and be safe."

Ochaco stood from her spot and looked to Shota with a worried look, "Where will you be going?"

"There's other students that need help, staff as well." Shota pointed to Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya, "You two will be in charge. Do not let anyone out or anyone in, got that?"

Izuku shook his head, "You can't leave, it's dangerous. We don't know what's out there!"

Katsuki walked over to his teacher, "I'll go with you. You'll need help!"

"No!" Shota shouted, he then rubbed his face and whispered to them as to not let the others hear, "The worst case that happens is I don't come back. So I need you two to keep everything calm."

With a solemn look he continued, "I know it's gonna be hard, but I can see that you guys are leaders, you can handle this. This class will fall apart without you. So please, keep everyone and you two safe."

The two males nodded and watched as Shota left the building. Katsuki quickly ordered Eijiro Kirishima, Tenya Iida, and Mashirao Ojiro to barricade the door. Izuku ordered Tsuyu Asui, Yuga Aoyama, Mezo Shoji, and Kyoka Jiro to gather supplies from the dorm and bring it to the living room as tonight they all planned to sleep here to watch over each other.

But as he did so he saw his other classmates with terrified faces and couldn't bear to see them look so sad. To ignore his thoughts he ordered the rest of the class that weren't doing anything; Fumikage Tokoyami, Toru Hagakure, Koji Koda, and Rikido Sato to try and contact the police or a rescue team.

"Oh, my." Izuku heard Ochaco say, "You guys, look."

He looked to where Ochaco was looking, it was the news. Izuku heard gasps as the news had said that everything was being closed down meaning there was no way to leave and every other channel said the same thing. It also showed burned down buildings, explosions coming from Musutafu, and people being eaten alive.

The last message it had said before the power was cut off was to stay indoors and to not be seen. At the mention of the last message, Class 3-A turned into chaos, “What are we going to do!?”

"I need to call my parents!"

"My family's worried for me!"

"Please pick up, pick up!"

"I need to leave!"

Izuku's heartbeat was racing, What about my mother?

Ochaco and a few others raced to the doors, "I got to leave, my parents are out there!"

Katsuki responded back, "No! We have to stay in here were it's fucking safe!"

The class had begun to shout, demanding Katsuki to move and to let them out. Izuku couldn’t stand their terrified yells and walked towards Katsuki, “Kacchan, let them go.”

Katsuki scoffed, "Are you fucking crazy!? Did you not hear what Aizawa just said? It’s not safe out there!”

Izuku then pointed at everyone, "Look at them! They're scared. They just want to go to their families! I want to go see my mom! See if she's alright."

"No fucking way, Deku!" Katsuki shouted at him, "You'll die out there. They'll all die out there."

Ochaco stepped up, "We'll take our chances!"

Katsuki scoffed once again as he stared at everybody, he then shook his head and told Eijiro and Tenya to open the doors, "Fine, but the second shit falls you all come back here."

The class nodded and one by one everyone left, the only few who remained were Katsuki, Tenya, Eijiro, Denki and Izuku.

"What now?" Denki asked as he stared at his friends.

"I'm going to look for my mom." Izuku said as he began to leave the dorms. Katsuki stopped him for a second, he nodded to Izuku, "We'll be here."

Izuku nodded and stared at his friends for what was about to be the last time. He then left the dorms and raced his way home.

The first time Izuku ran into a rotter he fell on his back. He watched as it ate another person. Of course he was mortified but he couldn't do much as it was already dead. He shook his head and ran to his home as fast as he could and when he arrived it was empty.

His mother's shoes, Inko, weren't at the doorsteps, her purse, phone, and wallet was gone.

“Did she try to go after me?” Izuku asked himself. He walked further to his house and tried ringing her but noticed that he had no service. He tried using the home phone yet only the deadline was heard. He turned on the tv only to be met with static, "Weird."

He headed straight into his mothers room to see if she left anything, like a note as to where she might have been but there was nothing. Izuku sat down on her bed, his eyes catched a photo frame that was placed on the nightstand. It was a picture of himself, Inko and his father, Hisashi.

Little by little, he felt his eyes begin to tear. What is he gonna do now? Where's his mother? What about his father? Is he safe where he's at or is it just as bad as it is here?

Not knowing what else to do but worry, Izuku cried as he hugged the photo frame. He hugged it tightly as if it were to run away if he lets go. He sniffed and shut his eyes as he repeatedly told himself that this was all a dream.

He repeated it for two months until that day when Izuku sat on the roof of a police station. He had found a R93 rifle in the police station. He cleared the place out and stayed there when he found out that the police had its own sewer system.

He took a shower there, ate can food, had enough ammo to last him for a couple weeks, and found a radio repeating the same thing, "Seek sanctuary."

Unfortunately, he had to leave his apartment as bandits came through. He grabbed the same photo that sat on Inko's nightstand and his notebook. Over the days, he wrote down every classmate's name, his friends name, and his family's name as a way to not forget them. He also wrote down how his days went to keep time moving.

As Izuku sat on the police station's roof, he peered down as he heard shuffling footsteps. His heart stopped breathing once he saw who, or what it was. Her green hair wasn’t in a bun like always, instead it was messy and matted and contained dried up blood.

She walked awkwardly. Her left foot didn't move; it just scratched itself against the floor and her other foot was bent, a bone sticking out. Her neck had visible flesh shown with dried blood. Her clothes were dirty yet it seemed to have fresh blood.

It was clear from her mouth that was filled with fresh blood, she had just eaten someone.

Izuku moved away from the edge and crumbled to the floor, he could feel his eyes beginning to water as he noticed his mother in such bad conditions. He gasped and rushingly wiped his tears, "That's not my mom, not anymore."

With a heavy sigh, he sniffed and looked at what was once his mother. He perched his rifle on the edge and looked through the scope. Once he had a clear shot of it, he took a deep breath in and let it out, with a finale 'I love you', he let his finger press the trigger.

Successfully, the bullet went through its head and Izuku watched as it fell.

He stared at its corpse for a few moments before getting up and going back down inside the station. He filled his yellow backpack with supplies and walked the opposite direction. With his mission finished, it was time to leave Musutafu.

He walked the silent roads until he saw a figure laying down in the middle of the road.

You were the quiet kid. Always sitting at the back of the class. Never getting noticed by your classmates. But you still managed to get into a small group of 3 others. Tsuyu, Ojiro and Koda. You guys were comfortable enough with each other to tell secrets that no one, just you guys know.

But there's one secret you didn't even told them..

And that is, that you have a massive crush on the biggest jerk in the class; Katsuki Bakugou.

You just knew you hadn't had a chance with, but there's something you didn't expect even after analysing him while staring at his features when he's isn't paying attention...

He also stares at you when you aren't paying attention to him.

Every time he would try insult you, he couldn't find anything to say. He can't even find a good enough nickname, he just calls you shithead. If he wouldn't have his pride and that big ego, he would've long admit to himself that he likes you. But no. He just can't admit to it, Katsuki doesn't want to admit it.

And it's because he's scared of a rejection and making a fool out of himself in front of you. And he can't do that. So his only solution is to push it deep down and try to not remember it, but how couldn't he if you're the one who sat beside him in class?

The bakusquad recently noticed his change of behavior near you. Whenever he was shouting, he never shouted loudly near you, he was even softer and that was really out of character for him. Until they realized that their ash blonde friend had a crush on the (h/c) colored (y/g).

"C'mon bro, you gotta tell them!!"

Kirishima nudged Katsuki's shoulder as they walk towards their lunch table. The groups other members were already sitting there, chatting.

"Shut it, shitty hair."

The ruby eyes male shushed the red haired male, his tone was a bit softer as they walk past by the table you are sitting at. You couldn't help but stare at Katsuki as they walked away and sat down at their table.

"You have a crush on bakugou, don't you?"

Tsuyu said as she put one finger to her mouth.

"Wha- what makes you think that..?"

You asked, acting dumb as you flashed a nervous smile towards the shorter female.

"Y'know, you always stare at him, even in class. At some point it was kinda obvious, kero."

Tsuyu said to you as she glanced at you then at Bakugou.

"Oh gosh, am i really that obvious..?"

You asked your frog friend as you sat your head down on the lunch table and looking up at her.

"Not really, kero. But i could notice it. You know, if you ever have something on your mind, you can always talk to me."

The short female said as she gave you a closed eyed smile.

"Thank you, Tsu. The same goes for me."

You smiled at her then gave Katsuki a quick glance, catching him staring at you, causing him to huff them look away. You could notice a small red tint on his ears.

"Now, if you really like him that much, why don't You just confess to him, kero?"

The female asked you, curious about your answer.

"It's not that easy... I'm pretty sure he finds me annoying, and he would definitely reject me.."

You said as you buried you face into your hands, causing your words to come out muffled.

"Y'know. You could just write a letter to him and confess to him like that. Maybe if even write your name on it. You know that Bakugou doesn't usually remembers names of the so called 'extras' who he thinks we are."

You shot your eyes up at the frog girl. The idea she said was actually good.

"You're right! Maybe i could do that and if he rejects me then at least it won't hurt that much, and he won't even humiliate me!"

You said in sudden excitement looking at the female with a wide smile.

"Thanks a lot, Tsu!"

"No need to thank me, kero."

The two of you smiled at each other then started to eat once again in comfortable silence.

The last class soon came to an end. You were the first to exit the classroom, because you wanted to place the letter you wrote for Katsuki into his locker when no one's looking.

As soon as you placed the note inside the male's locker you soon giggled like a school girl in love and went out the school.

Soon Katsuki and Kirishima went to their locker To get into their Outdoor shoes. Kirishima kept nagging the taller male about how manly it would be if Katsuki would confess to (y/n) aka you. Just as he opened his locker, he sees the small letter, already knowing it was a love letter. The ash blonde male was well known in the school, and many girls had already confessed to him trough letters.

But he had a feeling he needed to read this one. he took the letter out of his locker, and the red haired male behind him noticed the letter he was holding.

"Whoa bro, is that another love letter?"

Kirishima asked, knowing well the answer.

"Tch, of course it is."

Katsuki rolled his eyes, acting annoyed by there red haired male. The ash blonde haired male opened the letter and started to read it.

I've had feelings towards you for a long time now. I always admired you, how much you work to be the number one, not letting others opinion get into your mind and just overall you.

There's a high chance you don't even know me, but just in case I'll leave it here for you.

I like you Katsuki Bakugou!

And if you don't like me back, then let's forget all of this. Thank you.

As soon as he read the letter, a red tint appeared on his cheeks and ears. He quickly stuffed the letter into his pocket, well knowing who the person was. And he wanted to find them soon as possible. ignoring the red haired male, he put on his outside shoes and went out of the school to find you.

The male with Vermillion eyes soon found the familiar (h/c) colored person and soon came running towards them to catch up.

"Oi, Shithead!"

Katsuki yelled out, catching your attention as you looked towards the male. The sight of him made you froze. Katsuki Bakugou was coming towards you. Your crush. You just confessed. Does that means he actually read the letter? You questioned in your head.

"Yeah..?"

You stood still until he caught up to you.

"I read your shitty letter. and..uh.."

You froze once again, slight fear grows inside you. Is he here to reject me? You didn't notices the red tint on his ears as he was seeking for words on what to say next.

"Ugh! Go out with me!"

Katsuki yelled as a red tint covered his face and hid it in his own hands. his questions was sounding more like a demand. Your mouth was agape in suprisement, in a good way. You were happy that your crush likes you back.

"Okay! Is-is Saturday 1 pm is good for you..?"

You asked, a happy smile spread across your face and also a red tint on your cheeks.

"Tch.. it's fine by me.."

Katsuki mumbled and soon asked you if he could walk you home... More like said he was going to walk you home, even though you said he didn't need to. He still did it.

DISORDERS ✦ i have both ADHD & BPD (recently diagnosed with BPD) and i'm still trying to adjust to it, and the medicine. furthermore, i have moments where i "split" which means i won't want to interact, talk, or even do anything. i become a state of wanting nothing to do with anyone; friends, family, no one. so when that does happen, i will put my account on lockdown and won't be active until it's over, which usually lasts a few days.

➷ TO ADD ONTO THAT . . . whenever i take my ADHD medicine, it usually makes my splitting worse due to the symptoms of the medication, and also makes my anger issues insufferable. the only reason i'm making these publicly known is because i've learned from my mistakes in the past about not alerting people of them and it causing problems in the future.

i am open to writing smut, fluff, angst, combinations of them. long fics, short fics. i try to focus on one character/person per post, but i am willing to make the same idea work for multiple characters/people. i specialize in daddy kink though, so i will write all the daddy kink you’d ever want. all i ask is nothing with minors, for example all the haikyuu characters are aged up to their present selves, roughly in their mid twenties.

i write male, female, gender neutral readers, along with readers of colour and plus size readers! i also do polyam relationships. i’m flexible with what you, the reader, want to see.

Thankfully Together MHA Ships/Writing Sparks for Nov.

I usually write character x reader plots, but I wanted to do some short posts for character x character pairings (that I ship). I'm going to attempt to do a different ship every day for the entire month of November (30 ships at the least though I may do more if I finish early). I'm currently short 3 ships.

I'd also be really interested in hearing what MxF character ships you guys would like to see, especially since I'm short 3 ships. If I get the time, or maybe for December, I'll focus on other people's ships.
