There is a reality show where pro heroes' wives are on television and paid to be there. It was juicy gossip and pure drama. There are two groups separated from one another. There is always shit hitting the fan.

This week's episode was Pro Hero Dynamight making headlines and fans tweeting on Twitter as the episode was aired. It was

Rika was knocked out of the pillar shamelessly and didn't even last a minute with you. It was embarrassing compared to everyone else who was doing it minimum lasted 3 minutes. You let her swing at you and fake out of falling off to only get smacked harshly to lose balance. It was the look in your eyes that were too similar grin of your husband across your face. She had no chance of winning because you didn't even give her a chance to do after the first round.

The other challenge was to feature the spiciest sauces across the nation. You were chosen for your team because of your relationship with Dynamight. The pro hero has his own restaurant being the number one spot for having the hottest, spiciest dishes that left the food critic having to buy a gallon of milk. He had also released his own line of the spiciest hottest sauces earlier this year.

Rika was again your opponent who was trying to redeem themselves after embarrassing themselves to only do it again. She challenges you to take on the spiciest sauce of wings to handle with grace. She couldn't handle it. She was dying, turning like a tomato, and coughing.

It had become a meme throughout the internet. Rika's reaction to the wings. You serve her a cup of milk with a smile, "Too spicy for you?"

Heterochromia eyes blinked in confusion at the lonely piece of paper lying on the desk. The words 'Kiss Note' were written in cursive across the blank space. There wasn’t much else written on it, aside from one single sentence that said, ‘If you can guess how many times I’ve tried to kiss you this week, I’ll give you a big surprise<3’ —(Y/n).

Shoto furrowed his eyebrows as he read the words. An invisible question mark seemed to hang above his head. The boy scanned the nearly empty classroom, hoping to find your familiar figure. It was still early in the morning, and only a few members of the Bakusquad and some other students were present.

Your desk appeared empty, leaving him confused as you were usually one of the first to arrive at school. His gaze then returned to the note, the invisible question mark still very much present. He just couldn't seem to comprehend the message you had written. Have you been trying to kiss him? The aspiring hero struggled to recall any such moments.

A sudden gust of wind softly blew against the shell of his ear, accompanied by a quiet “Boo.” The dual-haired boy blinked at the familiar voice as a pair of arms sneaked around his waist. Your chin rested on his broad shoulder, and Shoto could see a small pout on your face.

“(Y/n)-chan,” the boy spoke, tilting his head slightly downward to get a better look at your expression. ”I'm sorry, but I can't remember any attempts you made to kiss me.” You huffed at that, arms unwrapping themselves from his waist as you crossed them over your chest. Cheeks puffed out frustratedly, making you look like an angry chipmunk.

“Does this mean that I won't be getting a surprise?” The expression on your boyfriend's face showcased nothing but utter cluelessness, making him resemble a confused puppy dog. You couldn't even bring yourself to be angry with him because of how adorable he looked in that exact moment. Though he had never been one for surprises, it still made him feel somewhat disappointed that he would not be receiving one from you now.

Shoto will admit, he did notice that you had been acting rather strange these past few days. For example, that brief moment when you had applied lip balm after commenting on how dry your lips were. He didn’t think much of that, but then you asked him if he wanted to try it out himself — which he did — and you ended up pouting for several hours straight, refusing to even look at him. Back then, he simply thought that you did not like to share your things with him and meant that he should go and buy one himself.

Truth be told, he still failed to understand how that could be related to your kissing attempts.

Then there was that time when you had introduced him to a strange game that was called the ‘Pocky Game’, where two people were supposed to eat one Pocky from each end, and the first person whose mouth comes off the Pocky or the player that gets to the middle first loses. He had found it pretty odd at the time as he didn’t understand what the main purpose of it was. Neither did you give any further explanation.

You didn't get to see who would win because Mina suddenly interrupted, dragging you away while claiming that you had something serious to discuss. Now, as he recalled that moment, he could faintly remember your shouts at the pink girl, whining about how she had just "ruined everything" while Ashido sounded like she was laughing at something extremely hilarious.

Lastly, he remembered yesterday evening when you had been watching a romantic movie together. The main leads were sharing a passionate kiss, and Shoto could still remember the way you sighed while saying, “I wish someone would kiss me like that.”

Was that what you were trying to do? Trying to get him to kiss you? Then why didn’t you just ask him? Shoto wouldn’t mind kissing you. That’s what couples do, right? He would be happy to fulfill your wishes.

“(Y/n)-chan, are you trying to say that you want me to kiss you?” His words were so blunt, you couldn’t help but feel your cheeks heating up. You thought you heard some snickers and noticed more of your classmates entering the classroom. Mina sent you a cheeky grin and a thumbs up.

“Sho-chan,” you mumbled, hiding your now red face behind your hands. “You’re too precious, I swear...”

The dual-haired boy took a hold of your hands gently before removing them from your face. A faint pink hue dusting his cheekbones as he began to lean in. His lips were soft against yours. Warm, sweet and tender. It was relatively short, but for you, it felt like an eternity.

Hearts beating erratically within your rib cages, a stark contrast to the slow and sensual movements you were displaying. A part of you would like to continue, to never stop, and Shoto seemed to share your sentiment. He was such a good kisser, a part of you wondered if this really was his first time. He was just being so careful, like he was afraid to hurt you — were he to make any sudden movements. Treating you as if you were as fragile as glass.

However, the sweet and tender moment was short lived as a loud growl could be heard coming from behind, urging the both of you to finally break apart — albeit hesitantly. Then your eyes fell on a certain angry pomeranian who was thrashing around, while Sero, and Kirishima were struggling to hold back. A giggle escaped your lips as your (e/c) eyes made contact with his crimson. Right eye twitching he spoke in a low, irritated tone, “Get a room you damn extras.”

I was thinking about how much the LoV lost during the Paranormal Liberation War. Besides Twice dying, Compress sacrificing himself, losing their base and their army; they also lost their home. Possibly the only sense of domesticity any of them ever had.

The League had been on the run, squatting in abandoned apartments or warehouses for months before merging with the Meta Liberation Army. Touya has been homeless since he was sixteen. Him, Tenko, and Toga all grew up in abusive homes. Jin had been lonely and struggling to get by financially for most of his life. Spinner was a recluse who didn't leave his house much due to all the discrimination he faced in his hometown. None of them (besides maybe Compress?) had a decent home life.

But, after they win against the MLA, for the first time, they have a consistent place to stay, their own rooms, with access to decent food, and a level of control over their environment they didn't have growing up. They were even leaders over different units in the PLF. This was probably when they were all at their happiest, or at least most content. Even if they didn't have Shigaraki around, they still had each other. And sure, Touya still had a death wish, but he wasn't planning on going after Shoto or his father for a while. They felt safe, for possibly the first time in their lives. And they only get about 3-4 months of that before it all falls apart again.

I wish we got to see more of that time, what their daily life was like, the shenanigans Twice and Toga might have dragged the rest of them into, if Spinner got any of them to play games with him since Shigaraki was out of commission, etc. I imagine they all had rooms on the same floor, and would all kind of hang out during their down time like they were already doing when they were on the run. Maybe someday we'll get lucky and they'll do a LoV focused light novel or Team-Up Missions volume.

- Shota Aizawa is one thing if nothing else in your relationship, and that thing is perpetually sleepy

- He’s pretty much never fully energized, but when he’s really tired (as in when he’s just woken up or when he's finally settling in for bed) he gets surprisingly affectionate in comparison to his usual demeanor

- And because of this, super sleepy kisses are some of your favorite kisses to share with Shota ^^

- He ends up pressing little pecks all over your skin as he curls into your warmth, leaving gentle, feather-light kisses on every inch of you that he can and leaving you a giggly, lovesick mess at his unusual bursts of affection and the feeling of his stubble ghosting across your skin

- And he always starts off each morning and ends off each evening with a sweet kiss to your lips, long enough to show you how much he loves you without turning it into something more deep or heavy

- Shota’s also just generally a pretty big fan of pressing kisses to your head. Whether heś kissing the top of your head, your temple or your forehead, he’s not really picky/he doesn’t have a preference. - More passionate, heavy kisses honestly aren’t super common in your relationship, but when they do happen they’re typically reserved for after he comes home from a long day at work or a serious, potentially dangerous fight that he gets involved in

- When Shota has bad days he resolves them by kissing you, and he kisses you with an intensity and passion that you rarely ever see from him because he just misses you so much on his bad days, and coming home to you just takes that frustration and stress and fear and evaporates it away from his mind as he kisses you absolutely senseless

- He also has a habit of sneaking up behind you and pecking you in various places as he wraps his arms around your waist and leans into you. If he’s taller than you then he’ll once again go for the forehead kisses, or if he’s not, he’ll go for kissing your back or shoulder as he nuzzles his head into you from behind and melts into you

- His kisses often taste like coffee or instant ramen, those two things are essentially his fuel that gets him through the day and you can frequently taste one or the other on his lips when you lean in for a kiss after you’re both home from work for the day

- And kisses with Shota are pretty much always either accompanied or followed by cuddles. The moment Shota kisses you it’s like his body melts into yours completely, and you pulling away from the kiss will almost always result in him immediately wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into his chest <3

Now that AFO is (hopefully) done, I really hope that Deku vs Shigaraki will manage to integrate Toya vs Shoto and Toga vs Ochako fights into the main plot in a meaningful way, so they don't feel like personal side-quests, but essential contributions to the final win, connecting all the Saviour Squad narratives, the way Bakugou connected all the vs AFO efforts.

Right now, from a utilitarian point of view, killing Toga and Toya on sight instead of saving them would have made more sense for the overall fight. Toga with the clones disrupted many battlefields and Toya escaping to Gunga took Endeavor out of the AFO fight.

So we saw the negative consequences, and I hope in order to change the mind of the civilians, the decision to save them will deliver a positive pay-off in the end.

If we look at Tomura's criticisms against hero society, these fights are direct examples of hero society changing:

Criticism 1: Heroes hurting their family

Answer: We have Shoto who saves BOTH his family and strangers:

In fact, choosing to save his family gives him the upgrade he needs to save strangers.

Criticism 2: Pretending not to see those heroes couldn't protect

Answer: Ochako refusing to ignore Toga's pain

Criticism 3: Passive civilians, dependent on being coddled

Answer: we see journalists, business students telling the story, we had Rei, Fuyumi, Natsuo actively run into the fire, we had "wishing energy", the doctors protecting patients, etc.

Criticism 4: This whole system has always rejected me

Answer: of course, Deku himself is actively trying to save Tomura

Now to pull it all together into a coherent whole - Shigaraki is the biggest threat created by the old hero society. So the changing hero society should all contribute to him being saved.

Option 1:

One way these fights can play into Tomura's narrative is simply learning about the fate of his allies (whether from Deku or better, seeing the Gunga aftermath play on the screens somewhere) and realize that hero society is changing. (For me, this is the weaker option)

Option 2

It would be maybe more tangible for Toga and Touya to physically come and help along with Deku's allies. I'm thinking of a scenario where Tomura is able to unleash a wave of Decay (maybe after Deku says on camera that he wants to save him). Cue in civilians faith wavering in Deku. Decay was something the heroes had no answer for in the PLF war.

However, Ochako's "remote Float" and Shoto's Phosphor (or maybe a new, fire-sided version of it that can melt rocks) could be effective counters. It would be cool and symbolic if Ochako and Toga using Ochako's quirk together and Shoto and Toya (and maybe Endeavor) together would stop the wave of destruction, offering a convincing, livestreamed pay-off for saving villains, without interfering in Deku's fight too directly or threatening to outshine him.

It would also show society that there is more than just OFA between them and total destruction. (I think it would be a good use of Warp Gate, and getting pay-offs for power-ups like Mina's or Aoyama's too).

Toga showing up in person would be also a good way also for Tomura to remember his promise, give him another reason to stop:

Not sure how Spinner and Mr Compress could play into this scenario, but I think they could also fit in some way.

I hope I'm not going to jinx it, I'd just like to see it come together all in an organic, satisfying way.

(Obviously, other things should also play a part - Deku's personal efforts to save Tomura is going to be the main driver, and Nana may get a part to play to the answer to "destruction of everything stemming from that house).

“I am not skilled at blowing up balloons.” Another fart-like sound of a flying balloon zips past your head and you duck. Part of you was wondering if he was doing this on purpose.

“It’s okay, babe, really. I’ll get to them in a second. Just leave them there, please?”

“Can I start on the streamers, then?”

“You bought streamers?”

“Midoriya told me to.” A gust of freezing air and particles of ice blow past the back of your neck, indicating that your boyfriend had made yet another spike of ice instead of grabbing a ladder.

“Sure, love. Please remember to melt those before everyone gets here.” Your words are choppy and borderline indecipherable from the roll of tape you hold between your teeth. You’d been trying to hang the banner for ten minutes now, but the adhesive wasn’t cooperating with you. You puff an exhale through pursed lips, resting your hands on your hips and scowling at the multi-colored pennants of cardstock. “I will defeat this piece of shit, so help me All Might,” you mutter spitefully to yourself, but he hears it anyway.

“Do you want me to actually call All Might? I can do that.”

“I know you can, and please do not.” You can’t help chuckling at his earnestness, and smile as he sticks his tongue out in concentration taping a blue streamer to the top of a window. “You look cute like that.”

His head tilts in your direction, two-toned hair falling messily on his forehead while he still holds one end of the streamer. His voice is even, but his eyes twinkle with boyish mischief. “Don’t I look cute all the time?”

“You do, but even more so when you’re doing this.” You mimic his expression, sticking your tongue out to the side, and he huffs out a laugh. “Thank you for helping me with all of this. You really didn’t need to.”

“I know I didn’t need to–”

“But you wanted to. I know, love.” A sharp eyebrow raises teasingly at your easy completion of his sentence. “You’ve been saying that for over a year now, you know.”

“Have I?”

“Mhmm, even though it seems like yesterday you were destroying my work for an excuse to look at me.”

“I think destroying is much too harsh of a word.”

“Doesn’t matter what you think. I’m right.” You can’t help grinning amusedly when he gives you a blank stare. You both know that you’re the best at twisting his words around back at him, much to his displeasure. You peer at him over the expanding latex of the stray balloon you’re inflating.

“Fine. You’re right, and I own this building,” he declares in triumph, choking out another laugh when your face falls in disbelief and you accidentally spit out the balloon.

“You can’t pull the building card every single time I’m winning an argument!”

“I definitely can.” He was right, even if you didn’t admit it.

Following you quitting your job, Shoto helped both you and your roommate move out and lease your own spaces. He accompanied you through numerous apartment showings and reassured you of your decision for the place you called yours now. Ever the respectful boyfriend, he didn’t ask you to move in with him right away; instead, he asked if he could move in with you in your new apartment, even though he financed half of it. You knew he had extensive real estate holdings across the globe, but discovered one morning when you were lying in bed together that he considered your apartment home. Home, you’d echoed, looking up at him and running your thumb over his scar. I like the sound of that.

He’d also helped you find a new space for you to kickstart your company and took it upon himself to buy not just the floor your office was on, but the entire building.

“You what?!”

“I bought the building.” He said it so casually, slurping a bundle of soba noodles as if buying a whole plot of land was as natural as breathing. It was another late night where you waited for him to get off patrol, sharing dinner in the living room of your home. His eyes flicked to your jaw, slack in disbelief, and he shrugs. “It’s really not that important, babe.”

“‘Not that important,’ my ass. You bought me a building?”

“No, I bought us a building. I could buy the whole block, too, if you’d like.” You cough, noodles sliding down the wrong pipe of your throat. He was playing, now, but you knew he’d buy you the entire city if you asked for it. After merging the costume division of his agency with your company, he released a public statement announcing the partnership between the Todoroki Agency and your business. Shortly after hiring new staff, including your other designer from M’s collapsing company, other agencies began requesting partnerships after Izuku and Bakugo’s agencies pledged to work with you too. Momo and Jiro hopped ship to your business as well after investigations revealed M embezzling funds and committing tax evasion.

“Does that look okay, babe?” You stand back to inspect your work hanging above the gigantic posters of your hero partners in your sitting area. Each pennant of the banner is coordinated to match one of your clients, spelling out “CELEBRATING ONE YEAR OF COLLABORATION” in vibrant colors.

“It looks great, love. And right on schedule, too. They should be arriving any minute–”

As if on cue, the entrance blows open with a swift kick and you bite down a smirk at the stomping of heavy boots. “Alright, nerds. I brought your fucking food. You better have plates because I didn’t bring that shit.” Bakugo’s rough voice echoes through the office and the smell of whatever is in the aluminum container he carries wafts into your nose. “What’s so funny, Salonpas?”

The corner of your boyfriend’s mouth quirks and you snort at his new nickname. “Did you forget utensils? I wasn’t aware you were capable of forgetting things.” You pinch the bridge of your nose with two fingers. You loved Shoto, but he could be a royal asshole sometimes.

“I’m gonna make you forget things if you don’t shut the fuck up–” Bakugo’s face contorts into a growl, but morphs into indignancy as a corded bicep wraps around his shoulders, effectively restraining him. “He forgot. He’s just too stubborn to admit it.” Kirishima’s toothy grin appears from behind Bakugo’s hair, followed closely by Kaminari and Mina. “We did snag some cool looking drinks on the way, though!” Kaminari holds up a six-pack of questionably colored fizzy soda, and you hand it to Shoto to put on ice. Mina pulls you into a tight hug, spinning you around to look at your outfit and running her fingers appreciatively over the decadent fabric.

From the corner of your eye, you spot a black tendril attached to a neighboring building and then immediately detach. Something thuds against your east-facing window, despite being on the thirteenth floor, and you casually yell that it’s open without looking at who it is. It glides open, and Deku scrambles down from the ledge. “I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry. Am I late?” He pulls off his mask and starts furiously pulling items from his belt, including a lighter, candles, confetti poppers, and party hats.

“Oi, Deku! Close the damn window, dumbass! You’re letting all the AC out!”

A gloved hand raises to slide it shut, but stops as another voice calls from outside.

“Yo, leave that open!” Sero shouts as he swings into your office, excitedly holding up an identical six-pack of neon drinks to mirror Kaminari. “Damn, everyone’s here already. Am I that late?”

“No, I think we take that title from you, Sero.” Momo and Jiro enter hand-in-hand, waving apologetically. “We got a little caught up in what to wear to a designer’s party, sorry.”

“Oh, shit, were we supposed to dress up?” He glances down at his usual hero costume, grimacing. “Oops.”

“No, no, you’re all good. This isn’t a fancy party by any means.” You gravitate to Shoto’s side, and his arm slides around your waist like clockwork. “If this was a fancy party by any means, that toxic waste would be nowhere near our building.” You point at the 11 bottles of unnaturally colored alcohol in the cooler on the counter, and raise an eyebrow at Kaminari as he cracks one open.

He takes a sip sheepishly, eyes widening in shock. “Holy fuck, this is so good.” He raises the bottle triumphantly like a sword. “To one year of making sure we don’t look ugly when we’re kicking ass, and to many, many more!”

Your boyfriend gives your hip a squeeze, pressing a kiss to your cheek as your friends cheer in agreement.

Okay ngl I didn’t know what pepa’s gift was (haven’t watched Encanto and I think that’s what it’s from) but I looked it up and I incorporated it in to the best of my ability!

Pairings: Hawks x Reader; Shoto x Reader; Bakugou x Reader

WARNINGS: Yandere themes, bullying, imagine if reader accidentally killed them when angry lmao win-win

Summary: Your quirk is affected by your emotions. How will your yanderes deal with that?

Notes: These are separate headcanons for each of the 3 characters.

TAKAMI KEIGO (HAWKS)

Hawks first notices you when he’s out patrolling the streets. The sky is as sunny as your smile and he simply returns a grin, checking you out a little while doing so.

It’s not until the next day that he really notices you, though.

It’s storming so hard that he’s having trouble flying- but only in an isolated part of the city. Everywhere else is calm, so it must be someone’s quirk, he thinks.

When he flies into the heart of the storm, he expects to see a villain. Instead, he finds you, sobbing into your hands and curled up on the dirty cement.

You cheer up immediately when you see him, a famous pro hero, and the storm clears almost immediately. Sun peaks through the dark clouds until they cease to exist, all because of him.

He’s honestly flattered. More than flattered, really. It’s almost addictive, the knowledge that he’s the one that calmed your storm.

You tell him about the villains that held you at gunpoint and stole your purse and he’s so seething mad that he’s surprised a storm hasn’t appeared over his head.

He’s rougher than he needs to be when he catches the villains. They’re in rougher shape than usual when he hands them off to his sidekicks.

He goes back to check on you, see the look on your face when he hands you back your purse and tells you that those villains won’t be bothering you again. You’re smiling so brightly that it makes his knees weak.

You don’t leave your house often, but when you do, he’s your eye in the sky. He even blows off some of his scheduled patrols to watch over you.

Every time that something is off with you- be it a lightning storm or just a slight sprinkle of rain, he feels a need to know just what it is that upset you, and to somehow fix it and bring the sun back into your life.

He wants to be your sunshine, the constant factor to keep that beautiful smile on your face and the clouds far away.

He begins to feel jealous that others make you happy. Angry that you have friends. Furious when someone flirts with you.

He’ll keep trying to make you happy and do his best to drive others off without upsetting you.

After all, he’ll always know how you’re feeling just by looking at you.

TODOROKI SHOTO

When Shoto first met you, he thought you had a fire quirk. After all, you were quite literally burning with righteous fury.

It took a long time of observation for Shoto to realize that you weren’t some secret long-lost Todoroki child and that your quirk was something else entirely.

He watched as you cried literal rivers when you were sad, turned fire engine red across your entire body when you were embarrassed (even your clothes turned red!), and, yes, created tall flames whenever you were angry.

Somehow, he felt like he could relate with you a little, when you had a quirk related to fire, but there was one thing he couldn’t match.

You were so expressive.

Not just quirk-wise, no. Your facial expressions and body language always matched whatever your quirk was doing, and Shoto almost wished he could do the same.

But he was awkward, had trouble expressing his emotions. The only emotion he expressed well was anger, and that’s the emotion that gave you fire.

A connection, perhaps?

Fate?

Shoto longs to grow closer to you, but he settles for watching you every time he’s home. After all, you are his neighbor.

He likes to see your fury fire a little too much. Maybe that’s why he’s always instigating issues with you.

Sneaking into your house and stealing things he knows you’ll need just to see frustrated flames spread up your back while you tear your home apart looking for it.

Throwing things into your yard to watch your hair light up as you angrily snatched the trash off the grass, muttering about “stupid litterers”.

It’s not right for him to enjoy seeing you with a negative emotion so much, but he can’t help it. A sick part of him feels like he can relate most this way.

And Shoto just can’t stop himself.

BAKUGOU KATSUKI

You were always a sight to behold when you were feeling any way other than neutral.

Bakugou liked all of your emotions, if he were to be honest to himself for once. He would never admit that aloud, of course.

You glow brighter than the sun when happy, nearly blinding him with your otherworldly beauty.

You burst into flames when you’re angry, the flames always lighting up your features in the most flattering of ways.

And when you were sad? You cried fountains of water while you drooped like a wilting flower, shrinking a little and looking frailer than ever before.

Would you believe that sadness was Bakugou’s favorite of your emotions?

Sure, you were beautiful when happy and got him pumped up when angry, but when you were sad?

He just wants to scoop you up in his muscular arms and feel your now-tiny form in his own.

He wants to wipe your tears away until they trickled off and no longer spouted wildly from the corners of your eyes.

He wanted to cheer you up a little, to watch you turn from a wilted little flower into a lightly-glowing, sheepishly-giggling mess.

He likes your sadness so much that he finds himself saying terrible things to you, just to watch that transformation.

He feels guilty after saying and doing awful things, to be the cause for your sadness.

But to see you shivering and sobbing below him?

Worth it every time.

Can you make a top for the MHA fights? From your favorites to your least favorites.

You can take the coreography, narrative weight (the stakes behind and or clashing ideals) and logic behind them (by this i mean if the winner makes sense or not)

There’s a lot of fights in MHA so I’m just going to focus on my top 5 faves/least faves.

Favorites:

1. Shoto vs Izuku: if any fight could summarize the central theme of MHA it’s this one. I loved seeing Izuku break down Shoto’s walls, I loved seeing Shoto let loose and actually smile for the first time, and I loved how Izuku sacrificed a pretty easy win because he saw someone who was hurting and wanted to help them.

2. All Might vs Nomu: This is a fight that’s just pure fun. Sure, it was a slugfest between All Might and Nomu, but it was a hype one. I liked seeing All Might find a way to defeat an opponent who seems unbeatable.

3. Hawks vs Twice: as I’ve mentioned before, this is a wonderful and heart wrenching fight. Something people don’t notice is that Hawks was actually trying to save Twice. He gave Twice numerous outs and even mentioned that he sees good in him. However, Twice’s loyalty to his friends made him refuse to go to the good side. Hawks, having been trained by the HPSC to be nothing more than a weapon, proved that he was more than that. Twice himself, someone who was constantly seen as an unstable freak, showed us that not everyone who’s bad was born bad. In the end, Hawks put down Twice because he legitimately saw no other way to end the fight.

4. Stain vs Tenya, Izuku, and Shoto: A fantastic fight that shows off Izuku’s true heroic nature and Shoto’s growth while also serving as a great teaching lesson for Tenya.

5. All Might vs AFO: A great fight to end the first set of arcs of MHA. I don’t really have much to say outside of that.

Honorable mentions go to Overhaul vs Izuku, Ejiro going into unbreakable mode for the first time, and Tamaki vs Three of the Eight Bullets.

Least favorite fights (not really going to explain them in detail cause if you’ve read my blog you’d know why I hate these fights):

1. Katsuki vs AFO: Katsuki’s plot armor breaks new grounds as he wakes up from having his arm broken and his heart blown out with no injures, gets a BS quirk awakening, and manages to defeat AFO because the villain was too stupid and didn’t get rid of rewind after he was fully healed.

2. Kacchan vs Deku 2: Katsuki gets his dick sucked for the billionth time while he beats on his victim, ignoring that Izuku was grieving All Might’s retirement too.

3. Kacchan vs Deku 1: Katsuki’s first dick sucking session begins as he’s somehow able to change fighting styles midway through combat despite having no formal training. He was also aiming to essentially torture Izuku and fired off an explosion that would’ve seriously injured, if outright not killed him. Of course, since Hori loves Katsuki, he only gets told to grow up.

4. Katsuki’s fight in the Joint Training Arc: Oh look, a failed attempt at showing that Katsuki’s developed in any meaningful way. Also, let’s watch Hori wank off his favorite again.

5. Katsuki vs Ochako: a failed attempt at displaying a pro-feminism message by Hori because it amounts to another dick sucking session for Katsuki.

Dishonorable mentions go to any fight Katsuki’s in because they’re always Katsuki dick sucking sessions, Hitoshi vs Izuku because Hitoshi’s hypocritical bitch ass was annoying to watch even when Izuku was kicking his ass, and Ochako vs Yui (this one’s cause I’m petty af and as even though I like Ochako, we Stan Yui in this house and she had a higher skill stat so I would’ve liked for her to at least put up a fight)

it’s a thought you barely entertain, settling for it as the reason for such pale light cast through your curtains. even the lighting up of the room feels half-hearted— barely an attempt to move from early morning into afternoon.

yet, as you lay across from shoto— away from all that actively exists beyond your borders, you can’t find yourself minding.

no. you much rather would have this. so content with the way the two of you love in your own world, sinking in the soft mattress of your bed. the little world you’ve made.

at this moment, shoto’s world isn’t much bigger than the sight in front of him.

and oh, how his world grounds him.

in no rush whatsoever, your thumb blesses his cheek with your touch, gifting it with gentle warmth. he feels your tenderness sink into his skin and he begs his heavy eyelids to stay open— to let him trace over the features of the one who’s blessed him so much already.

shoto’s never wanted much.

he was never a greedy person; his childhood had taught him fairly quickly that there was no room— no space for anything he wanted. every time he wanted— every single time he asked for something his heart desired so strongly— he was shown exactly why he shouldn’t want.

he was shown time and time again why he couldn’t— why he wasn’t allowed to ask. to desire. to yearn. nothing could’ve changed his mind and nothing could possibly give him any hope he’d lost.

nothing should’ve. nothing should’ve had that much power. nobody should’ve had that power.

yet, as you lay on your side within arm’s reach, slight smile etched onto your face, shoto realises that maybe he isn’t so sure.

yet, as you caress him, as you give him such warmth in your gaze, he realises just how faulted his thinking is.

for, if nothing was meant to make him want— make him need and beg and fold at its touch— then how had the universe placed you in his world?

how had the universe let him place you in his heart, then be so kind as to let you place him in yours?

you find your smile grow in the silence, watching how slowly the pretty boy in front of you blinked, fighting off sleep. so adorable, you’re amazed a little chuckle doesn’t bubble up and out of you. every blink of his is a battle, each one harder to win.

and as much as he loves it, your touch seals the end of the battle for him, sending him off to the land of dreams.

still awake, you find your heart swell at him— because of him. face calm and at rest, his soft and steady breaths barely noticeable— such vulnerability presents itself before you and your heart beats harder as a result, opening its doors for contentment to live in.

your movements stop and your hand pulls away to rest with you, satisfied with the sleeping figure finally, finally at rest.

long eyelashes flutter out of the premature sleep and shoto’s hand reaches for yours, slender fingers barely moving it back onto his face. you smile at the movement, heart swelling so big it could very much combust in your chest.

“don’t stop, please.”

it’s a hushed plea that holds the potential to melt you into a gooey puddle right on the spot, and you’re sure he doesn’t understand how soft he’s making you when he nuzzles into your touch.

you can’t help but provide, your hand finding its place on the side of his face again and your thumb getting back into its rhythm. skin meets skin in your caress and you don’t stray from his scar, grazing right below it if not on it at times.

such softness for something created when all softness was absent.

“i’m right here.”

no, shoto never wanted much.

in fact, for once he felt he had all he could ever want, beaming at him and providing the light the sun wasn’t able to. his eyelids begin to flutter to a close again, but not before he turns slightly to give your palm the softest kiss in gratitude.

his eyes find light right in front of him before they close, oh so grateful for the world he’s found solace in.

“thank you.”

If the ask game is still open, AU where Bakugo gets dismissed as not being all that powerful by Todoroki and Yaoyorozu (because they're really far more OP than he is), causing him to stop bullying Izuku and challenge the recommendation students instead.

1- so Momo and Shoto place at the top of the quirk assessment ranking but Shoto only considers Momo a threat and Momo doesn't seem to consider anyone a threat, she isn't particularly scared by any of her classmates and she even thought Aizawa was bluffing, so she's not worried. Bakugo hears her tell Mina this when the girl asks Momo if Todoroki was serious about challenging her for the top spot at the end of class, or if he was flirting. (Momo figures its neither. It was indeed the former.) Bakugo inserts himself into the conversation and asks if she's worried about facing him. Momo is like ".... um, not really? We're all hero classmates." Todoroki adds: "And we all saw the ranking" so Bakugo has firmly forgotten Izuku.

2- Uraraka: That guy just totally blew you off? Should we say something?

Izuku: Absolutely not, this is better. Though, i hope Yaoyorozu and Todoroki are ok...

Uraraka: yeah i think they'll be fine. and if they're not, Aizawa will stop him again

3- With Bakugo so distracted by his two new oblivious rivals, he doesn't even question izuku having a quirk anymore, and never learns about ofa

4- Momo, on realizing at the SF that Bakugo is still serious about challenging her, begins to wonder what's up with that. But she does decide she's got to face bakugo head on, not just on a team with Todoroki, and is determined to make it to the match with him, beating out Tokoyami beforehand (she made a light grenade, and she was more confident because she was seen as a legitimate threat and also maybe thought about bombs because bakugo was yelling at her the whole time to win so he could beat her. she spends the time between their rounds trying to find and memorize a formula for a good extinguishing chemical.)

5- in contrast to Momo taking Bakugo seriously finally at the SF.... Todoroki does not. this infuriates Bakugo more, and he does actually reveal himself once hearing Todoroki ask Izuku if he was All Might's secret lovechild. Demands to know if thats the one reason Todoroki is taking Deku more seriously than him, because Bakugo sure as hell knows he's not All Might's bastard, having grown up with the kid. Todoroki is curious but when Bakugo makes it clear he will not be providing 'helpful' information to his 'enemy', Todoroki says he doesn't take Bakugo seriously because he reminds him of his father, and then grabs Izuku and leaves. Bakugo never quite hears the reason why that's such a bad thing, but he kinda figures there's baggage there, and also that if Todoroki is so dumb as to think Deku is somehow related to All Might, Bakugo really should focus on the real threat that is Momo, both for high ranking power but also intelligence and being class representative.

One down another to go! Kacchan last thoughts before passing out really gotta be Izuku. And of course we can never get away from the damn bakucorpse image!

They really can not get out of each other. Always thinking of each other. One half of the duo has completed his battle. Win to save. Now all we need js save to win so how is Izuku doing...

Not okay! Omg he really just yoinked danger sense that's a top 3 quirk that has saved him from so much is he going to be okay. I actually do got some theories though for this.

So one I think we might get not just Izuku saving Tomura but everyone else. Like getting all these quirks is going to bite him in the ass and he will loose because all the vestige will basically do improptue therapy session on him trying to get to him. We could even have the angsty reunion with him and Nana. Maybe that what breaks him down and gives way for Izuku to get through to him. Then since we set a president of quirks coming back to there user he gets to still have a piece of OFA with him. Something as little as what Katsuki has.

But what if this is the beginning of him going back to being quirkless. I never knew how to feel about that hc but I also see the thematic appeal. OFA was made to defeat AFO so when that's done their mission is complete and they can and should finally rest; Izuku wanted to be a hero since the beginning and seeing him be one without a quirk will be thematic.

Can a quiekless person be a hero? Ir was posed at the beginning and the answer was given that yes as long as you get lucky in life. As long as the right person finds you. Shaggy grabs everyone, if he has OFA and at the end its Izuku the quirkless child now more confident and strong then ever then yeah he would be the biggest hero quirk or not. It works even better as time and time again BHNA has made it a theme to say that it doesn't matter where a quirk or what a quirk was given its part of you you give it meanin you make it your own. Quirk or no quirk, villan or not, dangerous, mutant what ever label society gives you it doesn't matter because it's your own. My biggest gripe with that ending will always be that this is Izuku's quirk as much as it was All Mights and the rest. I just think that it would be so heartbreaking to take part of him away. But... it does work. It shows that at the end of the day like with Toga, like with Shoto at the end of the day your not defined by the quirk.

It helped him, saved him but in the end maybe it really wasn't his to ever keep. Maybe all he needed was the confidence the will to be a hero so in the end maybe all that it takes to defeat Shirgaki is himself.

MHA 2.10 - Shoto Todoroki: Origin - part 3

I have chills. Goosebumps all up and down my arms. This is what makes Deku a hero that is worthy of following All Might’s footsteps. He truly puts helping others before himself.

So Todoroki looked up to All Might when he was little too. That is adorable. It must have annoyed Endeavor, lol.

Awwww. Mom really was trying to support her son. I hope Todoroki can grow into the hero he has always wanted to be, and not let his terrible home life hold him back going forward.

It is like Deku’s words unlocked this core memory for Todo. This is the most emotion I have seen on his face (aside from anger). He looks maybe hopeful, but still conflicted. I am rooting for him!

Yep, Midoriya is just that kind of guy. That is what I love about him. I do worry about him going too far with being self-sacrificial. It could become a problem if not kept in check. I don’t know if All Might is the right teacher for that though, since he is the self-sacrifice King. It would be hypocritical coming from him.

HELL YEAH! The animation for the end of this fight took it up a notch. It looked so good. There is something satisfying about seeing Todo go all in with both fire and ice.

Why are you grinning like a goober, you absolute kooky kid?

Midoriya is too good for this world. He is genuinely happy that he helped someone even at his own expense. I know he does not want to lose, but he puts saving someone above his desire to win. That takes real strength. I would say, he won at being a hero.

Speaking of kooky kids. It is lovely to see such sincere happiness on Todoroki’s face here too. For the first time, he is having fun. Letting go of his complicated feelings towards his own quirk and twisted relationship with his Dad. He is just being himself for once. Fire away! Be freeeeeee!

Sir, I am going to have to ask you to sit down. This is not about you. Stop trying to steal your son’s moment.

HYPE! HYPE! HYPE! I was not expecting a Michael Bay level explosion. This episode had everything going for it. It had tension, action, tragedy, conflict, inspiration, positive messages, good characterization, triumph, loss, a muthafokin EXPLOSION! This has to be the best episode of MHA thus far.

aaaaand Midoriya lost, boo. From a storytelling point of view, I think it was a good writing choice to have the protagonist lose the tournie (even if I am a sour grape about it). It feels like an unpredictable turn and that keeps the show exciting. I honestly have no idea who will win now? I guess it must come down to Todoroki or Bakugo. It would be great to see Todoroki win the whole thing.
