Sooo I decided to change this into drabbles instead of headcannons and a drabble bc I'm a lot more comfortable writing in this format, sorry if this bothers anyone <33
Oh and this is a lot more fluffy bc I'm so soft for Sho <3
I'll make Bakugou's a lot more angsty tomorrow >:))
Angst to fluff/comfort | 1,057 words
Warnings!: Mention of arguing, flinching, fear of hurting/scaring your s/o, mention of abuse (Shoto's childhood), and spending money in copious amounts (is that a warning??). Pls let me know if I miss any <33

The argument was getting nowhere, you were exhausted, angry, and hurt. You also bet that Sho felt the same.
Sighing, you stand up and walk towards where Shoto was pacing around.
"Listen Sho, let's just go to bed, we can talk about this in the morning."
"Fine then, you go to be-" Shoto froze as he saw you flinch away from him, he wasn't going to.. hurt you. He would never hurt you.
"Did.. did you think I was going to hurt you?" Shoto asked, inwardly panicking as he rushed to your side, hands hovering over your arms, shoulders, and hands, too scared of hurting or scaring you to touch you.
"No baby no. It was some kinda reaction from my body, probably because the tension was high and we're heroes." You coo, grabbing Shoto's hands comfortingly.
"A-are you sure?" Shoto asked, body shaking as he moved his hands up and down your arms, trying to comfort you as best as he could.
"Positive my dear, lets just get to bed, yeah? We can talk about our.. disagreement in the morning." You smile, causing Shoto to nod as he followed you to your shared bedroom, hovering behind you as you go through your night time routine.
"Baby.. I promise I'm not scared of you." You whisper, turning around to hug Shoto as he hovered over your shoulder, heart broken.
"I- I know.. it just reminded me of mom.. and him.."
"Oh baby, no. That is completely different."
Hugging Shoto tighter, your heart partially broke as Shoto clung to you, burying his face in your neck, seeking any kind of comfort he could.
"T-this was a one time freak accident.. right?" Shoto asked, a few tears staining your shoulder as he let you comfort him, needing some kind of stability for him to be sane.
"Yes, yes this will only happen this one time. I was not scared of you, my body moved on its own, I hold zero fear towards you, my love."
"Promise?"
"I promise. Now, let's get to bed and cuddle, yeah?"
Shoto simply nodded, shuffling his feet in a way where he could move yet stay attached to you, and he completely climbed on top of you, burying his face into your chest as you played with his hair, kissing his forehead sweetly.
~~~
The next morning he was attached to you until you had to go to work, and even then he was very reluctant to let you go, asking for kiss after kiss as you attempted to leave.
You came home to a completely cleaned house, your favorite meal, and your favorite at home activity set up.
And the next day, after he came home from work he brought you flowers, your favorite treat, take out, a movie, and a book that's been rotting in your 'tbr' list on Amazon.
It stayed that way for at least a week and a half, Shoto doing everything he could to show you how much he truly loved you.
~~~
"Baby I'm home." Shoto calls, shutting the door with his foot as he moved to set todays findings on your kitchen island.
"Hey, you're home early!" You smile, quickly making your way to kiss Sho's lips before hugging him, smiling at the comforting warmth and smell.
"Yeah, I missed you too much and there wasn't much going on. If there's any thing they need my help with they'll simply call me in."
Pecking his chest as acknowledgment, you turn to the island, blushing in embarrassment at the multiple bags on the smooth surface.
"Sho, how many times do I need to tell you that you don't need to keep buying me things?" You sigh, smiling as the hero pecked the back of your ear to help you cool off.
"And how many times do I need to tell you that I know I don't 'need' to, but I can, and want to spoil my queen."
"Sho you're too good for this world." You huff, blushing at Shoto's bold honesty.
"I belive that is you, my love."
"Okay okay- what did you get this time?" You sigh, peering at the bags curiously.
"You have to wait for this one," Sho mused, picking out a small black bag from the bunch, maneuvering it so you wouldn't see the brand name.
"Ah c'mon Sh-"
"and this one is for dinner-" Sho continued, shushing you with a quick peck to the lips, setting the grocery bag aside.
" and the rest is for you to enjoy at your leisure." Shoto smiled, causing you to blush.
Smiling, you look through the remaining four bags, smile widening at the sentimental gifts Shoto had gotten you.
One bag was full of books and movies you were dying to read/watch, and another one was full of bags of sweets you enjoyed from the gas station near your house -which means he most likely grabbed them on a whim, barely putting a thought into spoiling you as he remembered all of your favorites and which one you liked the most.
The other two were full of some of your favorite hobbies, and things you were meaning to get. Needed a new pair of earphones for long hours of patrol? Sho got the new model, making sure to get your favorite color. Oh- did you want a pair of fuzzy socks for the upcoming winter? Shoto got you just that, spending extra money to make them just right for you. The list went on and on, causing you to both feel giddy and annoyed.
"Shoto, you can't just spoil me. You need to be spoiled too, and all of your money is going into this isn't it?" Giving Sho a look to stop him from interrupting, you continued, "but, I really do appreciate this. You're too sweet for this world, Sho."
Shoto just smiled at you, eyes holding a certain spark that made you giddy.
And that alone stopped you from telling him to stop.
Because he truly enjoyed spoiling you, and you won't be that one to dampen that light, you'll be the one to continue to let it grow.
Plus you started spoiling him too- and now it's basically part of your routine

*Authors note* As requested, Shoto Angst!
Now with a happy ending!
Married life with shoto was a dream. Until it was only a dream.
Your hot hubby was so cute when he shyly accepted your feelings. Adorable when he blushed and handed you your favorite flowers with a ring wrapped around the stem of the largest one in the middle... dreamy and steamy in the bedroom for the first week of married life... but then you came back to the real world. One of the top heroes, he barely had time to eat a meal once or twice a day, he almost never came home, his sleep was always in a vehicle while on the way to another crime scene. He never answered your calls and replied to your texts only once every few days. You thought he was just busy, until one day when you were out shopping you saw him fly by in an emergency hover craft overhead.
At first it made you happy to see the love of your life. And he was smiling, that smile that was only yours. Then the smile died on your face. He wasnt smiling at you, but at a female hero that was riding with him in the hover craft. It was designed to get heroes to and fro quickly, She must have been working with him this whole time! What else was she doing with him while he ignored your calls and only gave you perfunctory replies to your texts!?
Immediately calling him up, he didn't answer. Your heart broke, realizing you were replaced.
With a heart full of anxiety and pain, you finished your shopping early. Mascara streaming down your tear streaked face. You couldn't think. Numbly walking out into the road from a crosswalk with a mind full of the image of your super shy and reserved husband smiling at a woman you never saw before. A truck screeches to a halt, narrowly missing you. Dead inside, you numbly curse inside that it didn't hit you. Then it strikes you. Why should YOU be the one in pain!? HE'S the cheater. HE SHOULD HURT.
When you get home, you take all the special things you've made for him, the first picture you took together, he had framed and put on his nightstand. The nightstand that he's not used in over a month.
You smashed it to pieces and tossed it into the pile of broken sentiment. A mug he bought you on your first date, the shirt you wore on your third night out with him he said he loved seeing you wear. Everything smashed, ripped or shredded.
It was cathartic. After nearly an hour of fury, you finally started to recover. Slowly converting the immense love you had for him into hate.
You were brought out of your little vengeful world by the sound of the door opening followed quickly by the sound of shattering glass.
Shoto stood in the doorway with a frozen look on his face. His quirk clearly starting to go out of control as he cried.
Steam on one side from evaporating tears and frozen teardrops falling to the floor on the other.
His gaze fixed on the horrorific sight of the destroyed heap of his most precious things destroyed and the woman he loved most in this world looking at him with hate filled eyes.
At shotos feet lay a shattered crystal vase with your favorite flowers tumbled out in disarray. His hands still clutching a movie case in one hand and a box of your favorite chocolates in the other.
"Placating me with flowers, chocolates, and a movie!? YOU CHEATING SCUM BAG!" You roar. Grabbing up the shattered picture frame and hurling it at him.
You're normal really bad at throwing so you didn't think much about it as you spun away to run to your room, slamming the door behind you and locking it.
You didn't notice that the frame spun like a throwing star straight for his face. Nor did you see him stunned too much to even dodge it.
The frame cutting deep into the scar next to his eye. He didn't even react for several more minutes. Too dazed and hurt to even move. A steady stream of blood leaking down his face as he stood in shock in the doorway.
The next morning, when you woke, you looked down at your pillow, noticing the tears and makeup staining it. You had buried your face in as you cried yourself to sleep the previous night.
You thought back on how shoto was the one who bought this pillow for you. It was a very expensive pillow but it was perfect for you. You had hurt your neck sleeping on the previous one you had.
The thought instantly made you angry again. You lifted it to throw it against the wall but hesitated. The pillow didn't do anything wrong.
Clutching it to your chest, you start to cry again. Pretending the scent of shoto's cologne that you had spritzed onto it a few days prior didn't give you comfort.
When you finally left the bedroom, you noticed shoto asleep on the living room floor. He didn't even have a pillow or blanket.
*serves him right* you thought.
He had something clutched in his arms, but you just didn't care about the cheating scum bag.
Too depressed to do anything, but the minimum, you quickly used the bathroom and realized you hadn't eaten since the previous morning, you were just too miserable to eat since you caught him cheating.
You quietly made your way to the kitchen to make some toast and noticed shotos home phone had a missed call. He had placed this so he could keep track of things when he came home since he never had the time to keep track of phone calls and voice mails while working. Plus he said he kept breaking the phones in his fights.
Suspicion rose in your chest. Hoping by some chance you'd be able to catch some proof of his cheating you listen to the recorded message.
Your heart froze. The recording was from a womans voice you'd never heard before. The hussy actually had the gall to call him at his home the day after their last adulterous encounter!
*Hey hero! It's me! Black Adder! I hope I didn't interrupt anything. I waited until morning to call since I know how much you were looking forward to 'spending time' with your wife. I know you said something about wanting to watch a movie with her she was wanting to see but I'm not dumb. I know what you REALLY wanted to do with her. Did you get ANY sleep? I hope you don't miss the cruise because of your late night activities! Anyways, I just wanted to call really quick before you take your month long vacation and tell you one last time that you can leave everything to me! I'll keep the area safe! Promise! Thanks again for showing me the ropes yesterday! It really helped! Considering you couldn't wipe that stupid grin off your face and couldn't stop talking about your wife, I know that it was hard to work that last day, thanks again for your sacrifice.
Enjoy your wife for the next month and don't even think about work. I have things covered.
Cya round you wife obsessed hero!*
With that, the click of the recording ended and your heart stopped. It was all a misunderstanding!
A pain even deeper than what you felt earlier gripped your heart as you looked over your shoulder at the man you loved sleeping on the floor all night after every terrible thing you did to him yesterday.
Your eyes widened as you noticed a dark bloodstain on the carpet beneath his head. You rushed over to him, fearing the worst.
Both relief and further agony tear into you as you realize he's still breathing. You noticed the deep cut on his forehead and can see from its shape its obvious how he got it.
In his arms he clutched the picture frame, blood still on the corner of it. His face streaked with old tears as he slept miserably on the floor.
You cursed yourself for jumping to conclusions. You hated yourself for your own jealousy. With a fanatical determination, you went about making it right.
First, you rushed to get the first aide kit, quickly bringing it to his side. Using your quirk you put him in a deep sleep and gently start to clean the injury. Your heart aching every second you look at the wound you inflicted on your deepest love.
After a few minutes, his wound was cleaned, disinfected and bandaged. You had previous medical experience before retiring to be a house wife to one of the top heroes.
Feeling miserable, you find your hubby's phone and call Black Adder. Heart aching from guilt. You never even met this woman. But she could tell from the tone of your voice something was wrong, and you ended up crying your eyes out to her as if she was your big sister.
Just like a sister, Black Adder listened with understanding and patience. "Oh, sweetie, I am so sorry I put you through that." Black Adder gently apologized. "Look here, honey, gimme your address and I'll come over and help you. I have an idea that will make things right. Your man is totally in love with you. There's no way he won't understand."
With that, you quickly gave her your address and within a few minutes you hear a familiar sound outside. Black Adder was outside of your balcony window, once again inside of that emergency hover craft from the other day!
She got out along with two sidekicks and ran up to you. Giving you a huge hug and telling you she was the cause of the misunderstanding and that she would make it right!
You had already told her that you used your quirk to help him sleep while you cleaned up the cut on his head, and she told you with a mischievous tone to keep him sleeping.
The side kicks put him on a gurney and strapped him in like they would any unconscious patient. Black Adder grabbed your hand and pulled you up to the vehicle, hovering right outside of your balcony. The side kicks brought your hubby on board. With that, they closed the sliding door to the craft and Adder sat you down next to her and revealed her plan. Inside your chest a glimmer of hope started to burn.
The next few hours were chaotic. Black Adder was very resourceful. She was also very stubborn and determined. But you could tell towards the people she liked, she was the sweetest and most loving person in the whole world.
It was nighttime. Yet she managed to make a stylist, a tailor and a spa open up their doors for you. They doted on you, giving you the treatment of a Goddess, all while Black Adder was sitting by your side, telling you of all the stories of her working with your husband, the people he had saved,  and all the things he said about you, which you found out was almost all the time. It made you blush.
You realized he was still madly in love, just over worked.  And she said more than once that she felt she already knew you because of how much she had heard about you. She loved you like a sister and didn't want to mess anything up.
Several hours later you were back on the craft. Adder had her sidekicks pack your bags along with Shoto's. She had a hero with a healing quirk come over and see to Shoto's head, a repairman with a repairing quirk repaired the vase, and she also had one sidekick replace the frame for the picture.
Everything was prepared. Adder flew you to a cruise ship Shoto had planned on surprising you with. You were already going to be in one of the best rooms on their. But Adder managed to get you guys upgraded to the presidential suite.
After getting you both settled in, Shoto still sleeping from your quirk, Adder gave you a giant hug and told you she'd be just a phone call away if there was anything else you needed. She and her sidekicks left.
Taking a deep breath, you arranged the vase, the frame, new chocolates and the movie at the foot of the bed. And deactivated your quirk. He woke almost instantly. Sitting up suddenly due to the unfamiliar bed under him. He saw you standing there, at the foot of the bed, as soon as your eyes meet, you started crying. And he started crying too.
"I'm so sorry, Sho..." You start. But you can't continue as you break down, huge wracking sobs of grief overwhelm you. He takes in the repaired vase and picture frame and realizes you were trying to apologize. He quickly rushes over to you and takes you into his arms.
He drags you to the bed and holds you silently until you're ready to talk. You fall asleep in his arms. Shoto notices a text he got from Adder while you sleep. She explains everything. What you thought, how she figured out the truth and how desperate you were to make it right.
After he tells her you're in his arms asleep, Adder grins on the other end of the phone, and begins to suggest to Shoto her next part of her plan to fix things, so you wouldn't hurt anymore either.

i still do,and i always will
Tumblr media Tumblr media
scenario:- shoto comforts reader after their breakup with dabi
pairing:- shoto x reader (platonic) past dabi x reader
Angst??? On shotos birthday????
Yup~
Tumblr media
It was the third day after y/ns break up. And shoto was going over to his best friends dorm with their favourite snacks and drinks.
They’d been holed up in their room for three whole days and even mr aizawa and the teachers were getting worried.y/n wasn’t a studious student, but they were always at class.
Shoto knocked on their door.
No answer.(no surprise there)
He put down the snack-fest in his hands and used his key to get in.
He cracked the door open just a little to allow them time to ask him to leave.if they didn’t want him there,he would come back later.
And when there was no protest,he pushed the door open to reveal a very dark, very dirty and very sad room.
Snack packets and tissues lay strewn across the floor and the room looked like it hadn’t been ventilated in a few days.
When he looked at the sheets he noticed they were shaking.
He placed the snacks on the messy table and slowly sat down on the edge of the bed.
He then heard the sobbing and the sniffling and without hesitation wrapped the bundle of sheets(and theREBY person under them) in his arms and hugged them.
This seemed to alert y/n to his presence,to which they responded with a little yelp.
They sniffed and looked up to see his concerned face.
“shoto…”they said “what are you d-doing here?” “checking up on you….you haven’t stepped out of your room in three days.even mr aizawa is worried…” shoto replied.
“oh…im um im fine…”they said with a very forced half smile
Shoto tilted his head to one side. “no you arent” y/n sighed “yeah, who am I kidding. Im a wreck”they said with a laugh.
They looked around the room to see the mess and sighed again. “dammit look at the mess….” They then proceeded to try to get out of bed to clean(emphasis on the *try*)
Shoto immediately stopped them and said. “ill clean it don’t worry”
“sho I cant ask you to-”
“you’re not asking,im offering.”
“thank you…” y/n said tears pricking at their eyes again.
“do you want to talk about it?”he asked
“i- yes? Maybe? I don’t know….” They said as they proceeded to wipe away their tears with the back of their hand.
“go ahead.”shoto said calmly.and waited for them to go on
“i- um I really don’t know sho…”
“if it’ll make you feel better you should.who was he?why did he do it?”
“he- well…I cant really say his name… and um well he spewed some bullshit of how he was doing it for my own good, something about it was dangerous being with him.but sho I didn’t Care! I didn’t care if it was dangerous if it was life threatening Goddamit it didn’t care at all!!!”
Shoto wrapped his arms around them as fresh tears streamed down their face and sobs began to rack their body once more.
He knew there was nothing he could say.but he also knew him just being there would help even a little.
“and I was actually happy with him you know? I- every moment I spent with him felt like a dream and I was just so happy. I could be myself I could talk and rant and I could be vulnerable.i mean you’re the only other person who ive ever felt this safe with and i- it felt so nice to have someone else like that.someone who seemed to love and care and want to protect me.sho I felt so.so safe with him you know? And now he’s gone.he left me.just like I thought he would and im just sitting in my room not doing anything.GODDAMI WHY AM I SO FUCKING PATHETIC.”they finished.
At this shoto looked down at them and held their face im his hands before saying “you aren’t pathetic for feeling this way.youre just human.”
“well then being human sucks” y/n said with a half laugh
“I agree”he said in reply.
y/n  inhaled deeply.
“and you know the saddest thing? I love him.i still do and I always will…”
To this, shoto’s only answer was “hmm”
Unbeknownst to the two of them, they had an intruder eavesdropping on their little exchange.
The perpetrator himself.the cause of y/n’s despair.
The man himself,dabi.
He’s snuck into the UA dorms, to apologise ,to check on y/n or something along those lines….even he wasn’t sure what he was there for…
The last few days had been equally as painful for him;but by now he was used to pain.both physical and emotional.
But hearing y/n’s words.
Hearing that they Loved him, made the regret wash over him all over again.
But what hurt almost as much was knowing that it was shoto comforting them.
Knowing HE was the only other person that had made them feel as safe and happy as he did.
The bane of his existence;the one responsible for all his suffering besides his father, was also the closest person to the only person he’s ever truly been himself with.
How tragic.
But he knew he couldn’t go back to them.he couldn’t.
If fate willed them to be together, perhaps they’d find their way back to eachother again.
But as for dabi.he wasnt strong enough to make the first move.

Blue Peonies and Yellow roses. (Part 1)
Blue peonies and yellow roses. Your favorite.
You’d gotten them every single anniversary you celebrated with Shoto.
It was 1 am now. You were done waiting.
 It was your anniversary today.
Not any old anniversary, your marriage anniversary. He should’ve been here. Postponed his meetings, just as you had, put his phone on silent, and gotten his ass here.
He should have been there.
But you had to face it.
He hadn’t really been there for the past few months now. You hadn’t minded, you yourself were busy, your corporate job requiring you to produce a significant number of presentations from scratch in a matter of weeks.
But you did notice things.
You noticed how, gradually, Shoto had stopped texting you whether he was going to be late or not, and how you had started seeing his assistant, Vivienne, more than you saw him.
You noticed how he was more like a ghost around the house, knowing he had been there when you spotted more than a few dirty dishes, his formals in the laundry, and faint steam from the hot showers he would’ve taken.
You’d always felt guilty. If only you’d stayed up a little later, woken a bit earlier, you could’ve caught a glimpse of him.
But today was your anniversary. You knew he should’ve been there.
You hadn’t gotten a text, much less a call, or flowers, gifts, cards, anything, from him.
Meanwhile, you were sitting here, having sent all of the above to his office.
You got up from the bed, deciding to busy yourself with some work, a few chores, anything to take your mind off of him.
A knock echoed throughout the house as you made your way to the sink.
A small smile made its way onto your face, and hope blossomed that it was Shoto who was knocking on the door.
You pulled on the latch, pivoting the door open.
You were not met with Shoto.
It was Vivienne, holding a bouquet of blue peonies and yellow roses wrapped in shiny blue paper, a small note pinned to the paper that said, ‘Happy Anniversary, Y.n!’
A sigh escaped your lips, the small smile long disappeared, as you looked to the side to try to hide your disappointment.
“Come in, Vivienne.” You said, pointing her to the couch.
“Mr. Todoroki asked to give this to you. I’m sorry he couldn’t make it. There’s a meeting tomorrow-”
“There always is, isn’t there?” You interjected coldly, regretting your decision a moment later.
“Sorry. I’m just a little…on edge.” You apologized, and Vivienne gave you a polite smile.
“Did he receive my gifts?” You asked, and a look of guilt flashed on Vivienne’s face.
“No, not really. He was in the conference room all day.”
You looked at the bouquet. It was beautiful, perfectly anniversary-like.
But Shoto knew you liked lilacs, not yellow roses or blue peonies.
“He doesn’t remember, does he? That it’s our anniversary?” You asked, “You picked up the flowers, right?”
Vivienne looked to the floor, fidgeting with her phone.
“Where is he, right now?” You asked, a new resolve in your mind.
“As in, right now?” Vivienne countered, surprised.
“Yes, right now. Where is he?”
“At, at the office! But what are you going to do?”
“Meet him.” You said, as you picked up your car keys and put on your coat.
—-----------------------------------------------------------------------
You pulled up in front of Shoto’s office. You got off, your coat swishing behind you, as Vivienne tried to stop you, giving reasons of meetings, conference, that he wouldn’t be able to come outside, and other things that didn’t hold meaning to you right now.
You walked in front of the receptionist.
“I’m Mr. Todoroki’s wife, Y.n L.n. Where is he right now?” You asked her, your fingers tapping impatiently on the glass of the table.
The receptionist looked panicked, picking up her phone and calling someone.
“Excuse me for a minute, I will be right back.” The receptionist backed away into a little room and showed no signs of coming back by her expression.
You turned to Vivienne, and asked her,“Which conference room is it?”
“Uh- I, um, do you really need to do-”
“Which one, Vivienne?”  You prodded, giving her a pointed glare.
“Conference room 7, 3rd floor.” Vivienne blurted out, and you headed for the lift.
“Please wait Ms. Y.n, is this necessary-”
“Yes, Vivienne, it very much is. Shoto isn’t here on our anniversary, I haven’t seen him for weeks, and I really don’t care if he is at a conference. I’m sure you’ll work something out.”
The lift had arrived at that point, and your foot was already in the lift when Vivienne pulled you back.
“He isn’t there.”
Stunned, you looked back at her.
“Where is he, then?” You asked.
“I wasn’t supposed to tell you…But I don't want to cheat you like this.” She said. She looked incredibly guilty.
You turned yourself towards her, a questioning look on your face.
“Come with me, I’ll show you where Mr. Todoroki is.”
—----------------------------------------------------------------------
You got out of your car after a measly 30 mins, and in front of you was Shoto’s beach house.
The lights were on, creating a dim glow around the window.
Vivienne took out a master key, fumbling with it until she found the right one.
She put it into the lock, and the door opened very silently.
You put your coat on the couch, seeing Shoto’s blazer on the far side of the room, looking like it was thrown there.
There was a fur coat lying next to it as well.
There were faint noises coming from the bedroom, and god even if all the signs pointed to Shoto cheating on you, even then, it had to be explainable-
Vivienne opened the door. She took a step behind going into the living room, leaving you, Shoto, and the other girl to your devices.
You were tear-stricken. You tried your best to hold your sobs and be quiet, but Shoto heard it.
He turned around surprised out of his mind, at the fact that he had been caught cheating.
He abandoned the girl, running across the spacious room to get to you, and he almost crashed into your arms when you stopped him.
He felt pain blossom around his chest, as your force quirk got out of control the moment you held out your hands to stop him.
You weren’t sad anymore.
You weren’t angry.
You were cold.
“Y.n, please, I’m sorry! I just wasn’t able to stop, I promise that it’ll never happen again! I’m so sorry-” He started crying out.
You pushed him away. He felt the force lighten on his chest, but the weight gained on his shoulders.
You adjusted yourself, pulling up your collar and slicking back your hair.
“This, Mr. Todoroki, will be the very last time you lie to me.”
“No, please Y.n, don’t do this, I’ll change, I’ll leave that whore behind!”
“A whore?” You made eye contact with him, your eyes colder than he had ever seen them.
“You there. Did you know Mr. Todoroki was married?” You asked the girl.
“I-I did. But he told me he was in the process of a divorce-” She replied, stuttering over her words.
“Thus proven, Mr. Todoroki, that you are the whore, and a liar. And the both of us here are just idiots for falling for your trap. I wish your new girl the best of luck. I don’t have anything against her. If anything, I feel sorry that it is her turn to suffer now.”
Your words cut like sharp knives into Shoto, as he stood there, hyperaware of your cold gaze, and composure.
How you maintained your composure and calmness in such a situation scared him.
Had you given up on him?
He stood there, silent. It was his fault, utterly and completely.
He willed himself to move after a few minutes. He made his way to the living room, seeing the swish of your coat.
All you had left behind were blue peonies and yellow roses.
Your favorite.

WOULD THEY BURN THE WORLD FOR YOU ?
simply to put it, he wouldn’t. it doesn’t mean he loves you any less. no, he’s reminded of how much he loves you when your making love to each other, or when he gives you a light peck on your cheek in passing and he sees the blush rise on your cheeks. he loves you so much, his heart couldn’t handle it. but he’s a good man. he wouldn’t burn the world down for you. he has a right moral compass and though he may be mm madly in love with you, he’d let you go for the greater good, tears streaming down his face as he holds the knife that would end your life, and admittedly, save everyone and still, he cries because he knows it’s the right thing yet he so desperately does not want to do it. he knows any other option would result in the death of innocents and he knows his hero heart couldn’t take it. and so, he lets you go…
IZUKU MIDORIYA, aizawa shota, KATSUKI BAKUGOU, zhongli, xiao, AYATO KAMISATO, wriothisoley, NEUVILLETTE, thoma, ITADORI YUJI, NANAMI KENTO, ino takuma, HIROMI HIGURUMA + your faves . . . ?
there the opposite. he would burn the down for you. regardless of the consequences, he can’t live without you and he knows that. he loves you too much to let you go. and he knows that when he sees you beneath him, tears streaming down your cheeks from the pleasure of it all and your telling him you love him too. he wants you near him forever, he needs you near him. so he’d watch the world burn, hand in hand with you and he wouldn’t care because he has you by his side. his entire world and so what if everyone burned? you were okay. and that’s all that mattered. and he’d kiss you again and you remind of that again with your face in his hands and he swears he wouldn’t ever let a single thing harm you. it’s his own twisted love, and he knows it’s beyond wrong, but he can’t find it in himself to care.
TOMURA SHIGARAKI, DABI, al haitham, DILUC, kaeya alberich, toji fushiguro, SATORU GOJO, choso kamo, RYOMEN SUKUNA + your faves . . . ?

hcs of bakugou / todoroki being a hardcore simp for reader maybe?
Tumblr media
“I WANNA BE YOURS.”
KATSUKI BAKUGOU/SHOTO TODOROKI x reader.
summary: what the request said!
warnings: swearing (bakugou…), mentions of todoroki’s childhood (very brief), that’s it i believe!
a/n: i love this request. i hope i wrote this to your liking!
BAKUGOU KATSUKI —
he is a very subtle simp. you probably wouldn’t even think he liked you if you guys weren’t already dating. the way he shows his love for you is… questionable.
he does the simple things like following you around like a lost puppy (even though he swears he does NOT) .
he’ll definitely demand you never leave his side so he can always be there to protect you.
“you’re so weak, you need me to be there to protect you at all times.”
you’ll just nod, enjoying your boyfriends presence. (he’s actually geeking over you aswell and the fact you grace him with your presence).
he takes you everywhere with him and doesn’t care about what anyone says. oh, aizawa paired him up with kirishima? you’re coming with. you can’t stay a second away from him before he’s rushing around like a headless chicken looking for you.
your biggest fan by far, anything you do he’s practically on the floor worshipping you. then the next second he’ll be calling your outfit disgusting in the sweetest way possible.
he’ll also deny the fact he’s a simp for you. one time, kirishima caught the poor boy gazing at you, dare i say LOVINGLY, across the room as you did a mundane task.
kirishima has never grinned wider than he did when he noticed this. your boyfriend noticed the quiet chuckles leaving his friend and turned towards him.
“what the fuck are you laughing at?”
“you stalking y/n!”
“I WAS NOT STARING AT HER.” sure… liar. you literally just outed yourself…
bakugou loved you, even though he shows it in his weird, weird ways.
SHOTO TODOROKI —
the sweetest, sweetest boyfriend ever. literally the ideal boyfriend anyone could have SIMPLY because of how doting he is towards his partner.
he’s absolutely enamoured with you. he isn’t shameful about it either! (referencing one of my other head-canons) .
this boy will downright show his love for you.
we all know shoto has a hard time with social cues, he blames it on his childhood and the lack of social times he had – always being isolated.
that’s also the reason why he doesn’t understand why he can’t stare you down like a hawk and not expect people to be slightly worried… why is he staring at you like he wants to eat you?
cuteness aggression is a thing. you both get it when you’re with each other.
you can’t believe you managed to secure this boy. he never opened up to just anyone, yet for you he made an exception. you flew that all the time.
meanwhile your boyfriend is still in denial you two are dating. every time you bring up your realtionship he’s blushing like a maniac and shying away from you.
your classmates notice the little things. such as you placing your phone face up only for it to be face down a couple seconds later because todoroki fixed it for you knowing you don’t want people staring at every notification on your phone (this is so me guys i’m sorry).
he is very attentive, he’s such a simp. he’ll pick up on the little things. sometimes, you feel like he knows you better than you know yourself.
there was definitely one time you had been making yourself a snack in the kitchen, forgetting to get one of your favourite piece of food for the snack .
once your snack was made, you frowned at the missing piece of your food you wanted.
starting to get upset, you looked around for something to make up for this.
“here.” a soft voice spoke causing you to relax at the sound of todorokis gentle tone.
“i can’t find my-”
“y/n. here.”
you looked at your boyfriends hand, noticing he was holding multiple variations of the missing food item you craved.
your lips trembled at his thoughtfulness and you pulled your boyfriend in for a hug as he returned it with a smile on his face.
he’s too sweet for you and such a simp!
a/n: guys, bare with me if there is spelling errors. this was not proof-read! i hope this was good enough, it was kind of short.
SEND REQUESTS! 🤍🤍

BNHA Men when You Have A Near Death Experience During a Mission
Pairing: Izuku Midoriya, Bakugo Katsuki, Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima x Reader
Tags: angst, hurt/comfort, nightmares, cuddles, sneaking around, literal sleeping together, life affirming kisses, crying
A/N: Time for some angst! Hope you're ready to get punched in the feels.
Tumblr media
Izuku never wanted to see you like that, on the ground and bleeding, broken. You can feel his tears falling onto your face, you can hear his cries, telling you to hold on that you'll be okay, you'll get fixed up in no time just hold on. In the following days he can't let go of the sight, his mind won't let him forget seeing you like in that state. When you get out of the hospital you notice that he's more quiet then usual, still sticking close to you but unsure what to say to you. If he was stronger then maybe you he could have watched your back better. So... will you train with him? Like a date. It's odd to count that as a date but he was always a weird boyfriend, in an adorable way.
"It might be sudden, you just got out of the hospital but I really want to get stronger. I haven't been sleeping well since then, every time I close my eyes the nightmares come rushing in. I want to get stronger, be able to stand by your side. Then, do we have a date?"
Tumblr media
Bakugo is the guy who will blame himself for you getting hurt but he will do it in the angriest way possible and actually make it seem like he's blaming everyone else. Needs to carry you to the hospital on his own, even if he himself is badly injured. If anyone so much as tries to touch you he will get aggressively protective, holding you closer to his chest in retaliation. The moment you open your eyes his mouth is on yours, his hands cupping your injured cheeks with the gentleness most doubt he could possess. He can't stay for long but for the time he can he doesn't want his hands to not be on you, he needs to know that you're okay.
"Fucking messed up back there. Don't give me that, you know I did! You could have died you idiot! Look... I'm not the best guy but you... you bring out a better side of me, I don't want to lose you. I can be sappy when I wanna. Keep your mouth shut about it or I'll shut it with mine."
Tumblr media
Shoto never wants to know what it feels like to lose a person he loves. There have already been so many close calls in his life, and now it's happening again. You keep telling him you'll be fine but how can you say that when you're loosing so much blood. The hall outside of your room in the hospital is in a constant flux of too hot and too cold because his emotions are all over the damn place right now. Seeing you awake calmed him down a little but it's not until he feels your hand in his pulling him next to you and letting him listen to your heartbeat that he truly calms down. It's a little cramped in the hospital bed but if you don't mind it then he'll stay like this.
"How could it have been worse? You almost died there. I never want to think about a worst outcome. I want to stay by your side forever, I want to go to sleep and wake up while listening to your heartbeat just like I am now. In a bigger bed of course."
Tumblr media
Eijiro had never been so angry in his life. At those who almost killed you yes but also at himself. He's your boyfriend, he should have payed more attention to what was going on around the two of you. Now you're bedridden in a hospital, unable to move without it causing pain. You'll heal but what happened will always haunt his mind. Because visiting hours have their limits he thinks it wouldn't be a problem to sneak in through the window, bring you flowers and snacks to make you feel better. You spend many hours talking, kissing, even long periods of silence. He eventually falls asleep in his chair and in the morning has to run right as he hears the door handle turn.
"Brought you flowers and your favorite snacks. I don't want you eating yucky hospital food. Are you doing better? Did you... see me when you... sorry, I don't like being that way, but when I saw you like that I lost it. I will smash through anything and anyone to keep you safe."

━━ 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 ;; 𝐕𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒
⤷ feat. bakugou, kirishima and todoroki <3
Tumblr media
✧ cw :: reader is dead ✨, gn!reader, angst :))
✧ a/n :: angst angst angst angst YAY I love writing angst, not sure how to feel about shoto's though :/
Tumblr media
katsuki simply disappears. there's not much to stick around for— he can't bear the look of pity his friends cast him when they believe he can't see them. so, he's curt when he talks, and he locks himself within the four corners of his room whenever he can— but the heart-tearing feeling of what he thinks is being weak doesn't drop at his door. he finds weakness in how he tries to envision every word you would say to him, holding onto every single detail of your face, and how you'd cushion your words of comfort. he's ashamed to admit it— as if he's not allowed to grieve— but he sits in the stabbing silence of his room and buries his face into the crook of his bent arm, holding onto how warm it was to be held by you, remembering every note of your laugh and the glint in your eyes when you teased him.
katsuki seems to be dead himself, with how ghostlike he is. he's never felt weaker, and the only person who could arm him with strength from so much as a smile has left him.
Tumblr media
eijirou shatters at every little thing that reminds him of you. a mere mention of your name, the smell of you, a voice that happens to remind him of yours: it all has his heart throw itself against his chest— as if it could find a way to run to you— and the way it collides and shatters over and over again never fails to bring him a wave of sickness. seeing your face among his collection of you in his phone has tears pricking at his eyes— eijirou's cried oceans in your name and if it would bring you back, he'd cry a million more.
his deterioration is alarming— dark roots growing in as if his hair mourns you too— and all he has the energy to do is feel time drag on so slowly it aches. he knows you'd hate seeing him like this, placing a hold on his own life to clutch onto the memory of yours, but he can't find the bravery to try and cope with the hollowness he can't harden against.
Tumblr media
shoto appears as cool as ever. it's off-putting to see him seem so okay— so unaffected by your absence. but, nobody sees the twisting and tearing of his heart and how deeply it overwhelms him. grief isn't something he knows how to grow accustomed to, and the devastation feels like poison he doesn't know how to let out. shoto can't cry over your absence— he doesn't know how. loving you was a feeling you'd guided him through, holding his hand with steady patience, and he wishes you could've helped him learn how to mourn you properly too.
he finds guilt in it— in the inability to sob over you like your friends and family do, but the dull ache eats him up just the same. he whispers his apologies whenever he's alone, and he hopes you know just how much he loves you— and how nothing can fit within the you-shaped home you've built within him.

7 MONTHS LATER
Lying in bed, the white sheets felt crisp against your skin, almost blinding when you first opened your eyes. A gentle smile adorned your lips as a powerful, calloused hand reached out, delicately brushing a strand of your Y/H/C hair off your cheek. Turquoise eyes, wise and filled with affection, met yours. Touya smiled, his long fingers tracing the contours of your face.
"Do you know you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life?" he rasped, his voice carrying the remnants of a fading dream.
You nodded, recalling the numerous times he had expressed the same sentiment before.
"I mean it," Touya insisted. "I always thought Christian women were average, but you, my love, you're beyond beauty. You're a goddess. I can't take my eyes off you."
A soft smile played on your lips as you took his hand in yours, bringing it to your lips to kiss the place where scarred skin met healthy flesh.
Touya hummed, his gaze fixed on you. "I still can't comprehend why you love me. I held you captive. I ripped you out of your land. And I look like a monster."
Frowning, you moved, sitting up with a quilt pressed to your naked chest. "Stop it. You're not a monster in any way. Yes, our beginning was rough, but looking back, I am grateful you did it. There was nothing waiting for me there but an arranged marriage to some older man and a life of ordinary domesticity, taking care of kids and a homestead."
Touya grinned softly, his turquoise eyes holding a warmth that spoke of relief. "I'm happy you're not holding any grudges."
Shaking your head, you moved closer to him, laying your head against his scarred chest adorned with staples. "You're not only my lover. You're my best friend," you whispered, pressing a tender kiss to his chest.
His arm wrapped around your shoulders, fingers slowly rubbing the naked flesh, his quiet hum resonating within his chest with every breath he took. "So are you. You're the only one I trust."
Feeling his fingers lift your chin, you met his gaze before he pulled you even closer, brushing his slightly chapped lips against yours.
"Always," he whispered after breaking the kiss.
Tilting your head, you looked at him quizzically. "Hmmm?"
"I'll always love you, no matter what," he declared, his words filled with a sincerity that lingered in the air.
Leaning in to kiss him again, you felt his arm, still wrapped around you, suddenly go limp. Frowning, you looked down at him, only to find a pool of blood where Touya, your beloved man, once lay. He vanished like a fleeting mist.
Your heart pounded within your chest, a sudden fear gripped you as you called his name with all your might. "Touya! Touya!!!"
The room darkened, as if happiness had fled through the window, replaced by an ominous void. A sudden, searing pain gripped your abdomen. Clutching your stomach, you clenched your teeth, hissing as the unbearable pain washed over you. Trembling with waves of agony, you began screaming, choking on your own tears. "Touya! Save me, please!"
And then, abruptly, you woke up, gasping for air, the vivid nightmare fading into the recesses of your mind.
You looked aside, your gaze settling on Shoto sleeping peacefully by your side, one hand slipped under his head.
A scornful glare crossed your features as you pondered the man who had used you so many times, who hadn't hesitated to raise both hand and voice at you, the man who forced you to become his concubine. It baffled you that he could sleep so soundly.
How could he find peace in slumber when his hands were stained with the blood of his own father and older brother? The memories of his mistreatment of Natsuo, treating him like a discarded piece of trash on a daily basis, flashed before your eyes. You couldn't comprehend how he managed to find solace in sleep, bearing the weight of so many innocent souls on his shoulders. He had killed his own warriors, loyal to his father, without a second thought. The toll on Skjaldvargr was evident, with the population dwindling by half in the past month alone.
Shoto's apparent solution, letting cutthroats and offscourings from other settlements live among his subjects, only fueled your frustration. The ease with which he dismissed the lives lost and the suffering inflicted upon his own people left you in disbelief. As you watched him sleep, a bitter taste filled your mouth, knowing that the man beside you was responsible for a cascade of pain and death that stained the land.
With a heavy sigh, you touched your round belly, feeling the slight kick from your unborn child. "Hush, hush, my sweet child," you whispered, a tinge of sadness adorning your voice. "It's okay, we're good."
The revelation of your pregnancy had shaken your world. Torn between love for the life growing beneath your heart and a deep loathing, your emotions were a tumultuous storm. Shoto, forcing you to lay with him shortly after you lost your innocence to Touya, clouded the paternity of the child. The uncertainty haunted you, and you couldn't be sure whose blood flowed through the veins of the little one.
Praying dearly to Freya, you wished the child belonged to Dabi, not Shoto. The complexities of your emotions were woven into the fabric of each whispered prayer, as you cradled the tiny life within you, caught in the tangled web of past choices and an uncertain future.
Shoto stirred by your side, slowly opening his mismatched eyes, casting you a cold glance. "Why are you not sleeping?" he asked with an air of indifference.
Rubbing your belly, you spared him a brief glance. "The baby was kicking," you lied.
With a growl, Shoto sat up and pushed your hand off your belly, replacing it with his own. He rubbed soothing circles around the bump. "It's okay, little one, daddy's here."
A gag reflex surged within you upon hearing those words. Excusing yourself, you pushed his hand off your tummy and swung your legs off the bed, slowly getting up. "I need fresh air," you said simply, wrapping a thick bear fur around your shoulders.
Shoto scoffed. "You should be resting, Y/N. If you don't want to care about yourself, that's fine. I couldn't care less. But my baby needs some peace. Don't be fucking long," he growled, laying his head back on the pillow.
Without another word, you left the room as you sought solace in the cool night air, the thick bear fur offering little comfort against the chill that now surrounded you.
The guards in the throne chamber greeted you with acknowledging nods as you passed by.
The night air was cold, and tiny snowflakes swirled on a chilly northern breeze as you made your way through the Great Hall.
With a heavy sigh, you rested your back against the wall of the longhouse, your breath visible in the cold air with each exhale. The silence of the night surrounded you until a familiar voice broke through.
"My lady? Are you okay?" The figure emerged from the shadows, and before you could see his face, you nodded.
"Yes, Keigo. It's okay."
"Shall I wake the earl up?" the blonde-haired man asked, finally stopping beside you.
You shook your head. "No. We just talked."
As much as you harbored resentment towards Hawks for blindly following all of Shoto's orders, you knew the young man didn't have much of a choice. Natsuo had shared stories with you. Hawks, being older than Shoto and one of Endeavor's most loyal warriors, spent a significant amount of time around the young prince. He taught Shoto how to wield an axe and sword, how to fight, and how to survive in the cruel world. Endeavor's lack of time for his own children made Shoto grow fond of his older "colleague," and vice versa.
"You can't sleep again?" he asked, noting the weariness in your eyes.
You nodded quietly, your expression revealing the traces of a restless night. "Yeah, another nightmare with Touya," you confessed softly.
At the mention of Touya's name, a wave of emotions washed over you, and a few tears rolled down your pale cheeks. In an effort to regain composure, you bit your own knuckle, a physical anchor against the overwhelming memories.
Hawks watched you with a heavy heart, his concern deepening. “My lady, maybe…”
You shook your head in response. "Keigo, can I ask you for a favor?" you asked him.
The blonde-haired man furrowed his brows upon hearing your words but nodded slowly.
"Keigo, can you take me to the place where Touya died?" you asked, your voice steady but carrying the weight of the emotions you had long suppressed.
Hawks looked at you, concern etched across his features and a slight frown crossing his forehead. "Why would you want to go there, my lady?"
Taking a deep breath, you met his gaze. "I need closure, Keigo. For months, I've been haunted by the memories. I can't move on until I confront the reality of where it happened. I just... I just need to see this place. I want to pray there. I just... I just need it."
He sighed, realizing the depth of your pain. "Are you sure about this? It won't be easy, my lady, as the earl surely won't let you go."
You nodded, your eyes reflecting a mix of sorrow and resolution. "I have to do this. It's the only way I'll find the closure I've been seeking for months."
Keigo stood before you, torn between his loyalty to his earl and the plea you bestowed upon him. The weight of your words seemed to reopen old wounds that he had long tried to bury. "I'll see what I can do, my lady," he finally said, nodding his head with a conflicted expression.
He left just like that, leaving you alone in the quiet night.
Alone, you rubbed your tummy softly, seeking solace in the warmth beneath your hand. "Save us, Freya," you whispered as you hoped for protection and guidance in the tumultuous journey that lay ahead. “Save us from Shoto.”

7 MONTHS EARLIER
When Touya woke up, all he could think of was pain. Unbearable, burning pain that seemed to spread all over his body, with a particular intensity in his legs, even though they mostly felt numb.
The first moment he opened his eyes, he found himself in an unfamiliar place. Strange faces surrounded him, leaning down, their hands touching his face and shoulders. A potent herbal scent enveloped him, making him want to cough and vomit.
The women treating his wounds seemed a little scared, their eyes betraying a mix of apprehension and discomfort at his appearance. This made Touya not only feel uneasy but also fueled his desire to leave this unfamiliar place as soon as possible.
One day, when Touya awoke to find Earl Yagi Toshinorison by his bedside, he immediately understood his surroundings. He was in Toshinorison's settlement, known as Hvinverjadalr.
"It's good to see you awake," Earl Toshinorison greeted with a warm smile as he approached the young man lying in bed. "Are you feeling well today?"
Dabi, still recovering, looked up at the earl and responded with a hint of sorrow in his voice, "I feel pain, my lord. The wounds are healing, but it will take time."
Earl Toshinorison gazed sternly at Dabi, his eyes betraying a mix of curiosity and authority. He raised his hand, gesturing to the maids who were tidying the chamber. "Leave us," he ordered with a commanding tone.
The maids exchanged uneasy glances before hurriedly exiting the room, leaving the Earl and Dabi alone in the dimly lit chamber.
Silence lingered for a moment before Dabi broke it. "What happened?" he asked, his memory clouded with fragments of being sent north by his father, along with his younger brother and a contingent of warriors.
Earl Toshinorison, known for his calculating mind, cocked an eyebrow, considering Dabi's question. The earl regarded the injured man with a measured expression, his voice calm. "You were found by two of my warriors under a cliff, accompanied by the lifeless body of a massive wolf," he disclosed, his eyes studying the scarred features of the man before him.
The revelation hung in the air, a puzzle waiting to be solved. The details surrounding the scene raised Dabi's questions. "I... I don't remember..." he whispered.
"I need you to tell me everything you remember," the older man commanded, his voice firm yet tinged with curiosity.
Dabi, looking perplexed, met the earl's gaze. "The only thing I remember is being sent by my father north, along with my younger brother and our warriors, my lord."
The earl cocked an eyebrow, a calculated look in his eyes. "And who's your father?"
"Endeavor is my father."
Toshinorison jolted up from his chair, a frown crossing his forehead as he processed the unexpected revelation. "Endeavor? You're Endeavor's son?"
Dabi nodded solemnly. "I am. My name's Touya. I'm Endeavor's eldest son."
The revelation lingered in the air, casting a shadow over the room. The gravity of the truth seemed to echo through the walls.
Toshinorison sat back down, his gaze focused on Dabi's face as he spoke, "I'd never thought in my wildest dreams I'd have one of the most skilled warriors of Denmark under my roof." A soft smile played on the earl's lips, a genuine appreciation for the warrior's capabilities evident in his eyes.
Dabi nodded, acknowledging the earl's words. Gratitude shone in his eyes as he thanked Yagi. However, he wasted no time in getting to the pressing matter on his mind. "When will I be able to return back to my settlement?" he inquired, his tone a blend of eagerness and caution, uncertain of what the future held.
Earl Toshinorison looked down at Dabi, a solemn expression clouding his features. "Touya, your injuries are serious," he began, his voice carrying a weight of concern. "I won't allow you to leave until your body is fully healed."
Dabi met the earl's gaze, a mix of defiance and frustration in his eyes. "I appreciate the hospitality, my lord, but I've got responsibilities back at my settlement. I need to return."
The earl nodded understandingly. "I comprehend your predicament, but I cannot permit you to depart in such a state. Your health is of utmost importance. Once you're well, I'll personally ensure you're escorted safely back to your settlement."
Dabi's scowl deepened, but he couldn't deny the genuine concern in the earl's eyes. "And how long is that going to take?"
Toshinorison sighed, his gaze unwavering. "As long as it takes, Touya. I won't risk your life by sending you out prematurely. Your well-being is my priority now. With broken legs that would take several months to heal."
Dabi's frustration erupted. "A few months?!" he exclaimed, sitting up with a grunt, his face contorted with pain. "I don't have that much time, my lord. They must've thought I died."
Earl Toshinorison gently pushed the scarred man's shoulder, compelling him to lay back down. "Easy. I promise I'll send an envoy to let your people and father know you're alive," the older man reassured. "But, as I said, you need to stay with us a little longer. Once you'll be able to walk, I'll admit my best warriors to help you regain your fighting prowess."
Dabi nodded gratefully as earl Yagi got up. "Thank you, my lord."
Earl Toshinorison smiled faintly, nodding his head before he exited the chamber, leaving Dabi alone with his thoughts.
Tumblr media
It took Hawks a few days to set everything in motion for the trip with you. The blonde-haired Viking hesitated to bring it up with his earl, struggling to find the courage.
Fortunately, the situation became more manageable when Shoto departed to meet earl Gizzor, who resided in the northern part of Sweden.
This afforded Hawks the opportunity to make the necessary arrangements without drawing undue attention to your impending journey.
Natsuo attempted to dissuade you from the idea, expressing concern about the risk involved in such a trip given your advanced stage of pregnancy. However, you were adamant and chose not to heed his advice.
One afternoon, the thralls assisted you in donning warm clothes, while Natsuo helped Keigo prepare a horse – a stallion that had once belonged to Touya.
"Don't try anything," Endeavorson snarled quietly, ensuring the proper placement of a snaffle on the stallion.
Keigo frowned at the younger man. "What was that supposed to mean?"
"I don't trust you," Natsuo replied, his expression tense. "I expect you to take good care of Y/N during this trip."
"Of course I will," Keigo retorted, his brow furrowed. "I serve the earl as best as I can."
"Of course, you do," Natsuo growled, his gaze intense. "If a single hair falls off her head..."
"Then what, my lord?" Keigo asked, his tone challenging. "What will you do?"
"I'll kill you." The words hung in the air, a stark reminder of the seriousness of the responsibility Keigo now carried for your safety.
Keigo scoffed and casually walked closer to Natsuo. "Don't forget, my lord, that earl Shoto ordered me to take care of his concubine," he reminded with a wry tone. "So, do not fret, she's under good care."
As Keigo delivered his reassurance, you left the longhouse and headed towards the stable, where you found the men. "I'm ready," you announced, a sense of determination in your voice as you prepared for whatever lay ahead.
Keigo assisted you onto the horse, ensuring you were comfortable in the saddle. Soon, he mounted his own mare, a skilled rider at ease with his steed.
Natsuo walked over to you, his touch soft as he stroked your knee. "Be careful, Y/N. Stay close to him," he urged, casting a glance towards Keigo.
The hawk-eyed warrior, however, shook his head disapprovingly, silently expressing his disagreement with Natsuo's wry comment.
You nodded at Natsuo, promising to stay out of trouble.
Endeavorson acknowledged with a subtle nod and moved aside.
Hawks took the reins, urging his horse forward, and you followed closely behind.

The ride stretched across nearly two days, each passing hour marked by your repeated requests to halt. The biting cold gnawed at your bones, and bouts of dizziness swept over you, making it challenging to endure the relentless journey. The unforgiving weather seemed determined to test your resilience, forcing frequent pauses as you battled against the elements.
The landscape unfolded before you in a blur, a monotonous panorama of snow-covered terrain and desolate wilderness. The horses pressed on, their breath forming misty clouds in the frigid air. The repetitive rhythm of hooves against the frozen ground echoed the weariness that settled in your bones.
Each break served as a temporary respite from the relentless cold, a chance to regain your bearings before the journey resumed.
The trip passed mostly in silence, a thick tension hanging in the air. You found yourself at a loss for words, unsure of what to tell Hawks. There were things you assumed he knew, things you suspected he did, and the unspoken assumptions lingered between you like a heavy fog.
The rhythmic sound of the horses' hooves filled the air as Hawks finally mustered the courage to breach the unspoken divide. "How is it between you and earl Shoto?" he asked, his voice cutting through the chilly silence.
You glanced at him, the weight of the unspoken hanging in the air. "Complicated," you replied, choosing a word that barely scratched the surface of the intricate web of emotions.
Hawks raised an eyebrow, a mix of curiosity and concern in his gaze. "Complicated how?"
You scoffed at his question, a bitter laugh escaping your lips. "Are you seriously asking me how it is with him? You well know how. He's ruthless, and it doesn't change when we're alone. No, instead, he's even worse than when we're around people. I know he doesn't care about me. All he cares about is power and the fact I might be pregnant with his child. If it turns out it's Touya's, I'm sure he'll order his men to kill me and the child. So, nothing good is awaiting me," your voice carried a heavy burden of sorrow. "Even if the child is his, I'm sure he'll take the kid away from me and exile me," you added, resignation coating your words. "Either way, I'm fucked up, Takami."
He nodded thoughtfully, the lines on his face deepening. "I see."
The quiet lingered again, the horses' hooves maintaining a steady rhythm. The unspoken truths hovered in the air.
Hawks finally stopped his horse and dismounted.
Your horse halted as well, and Keigo, with a silent understanding, moved to assist you off its back.
Hawks pointed his chin north, indicating a small prominence in the distance. "It's there," he said, gesturing with a subtle nod. Without further words, he began walking in that direction, and you followed, the crunching of snow beneath your boots filling your ears.
Hawks stopped at the top of a small hill, near a cliff. "That's where he fell," he explained, his gaze fixed on the spot below.
You hesitated, feeling the strength drain from your knees as you slowly approached the edge. As you looked down, the world seemed to blur, and a wave of emotions crashed over you, a mix of fear and sorrow.
Hawks reacted swiftly, rushing to you with concern etched on his face. He wrapped his hands around your frame, providing support and shielding you from the potential of falling.
The warmth of his touch and the protective embrace offered a fleeting sense of security amid the storm of uncertainties that surrounded you.
“Y/N,” Hawks whispered quietly. “Do you want to sit down?”
You shook your head, hot tears streaming down your cheeks. "I can't, Keigo... How... how could that have happened?" you asked him, your voice choked with disbelief as you clutched his forearm. "He is... he was a great warrior..." Strong sobs shook your body, the weight of the loss pressing down on you like an unbearable burden.
As you shook your head, tears streaming down your cheeks, he felt the weight of your grief and the burden of his past deeds pressing on him. The realization of the consequences of his actions began to dawn on him, and he started to rethink the choices that led to this moment. A somber silence settled between you, echoing the heaviness of the loss and the reevaluation of past decisions in the cold air.
You slowly sank down to your knees, not minding the cold snow beneath you. Pressing your hands to your heart, you gasped for air, the freezing wind ruffling your Y/H/C hair. "I know I shouldn't be crying over a man who ripped me off my land, but I forgave him long ago, and I love him so dearly... I forever will," you whined, the weight of conflicting emotions pulling at your chest as grief and love intertwined in a tangled dance. "I just wish I could tell him how much he means to me... to us," you added, gently rubbing your baby bump. With an empty gaze, you looked into the white void surrounding you. "I don't exist without him. I don't want to live without him." The words carried a profound ache, echoing the depths of your love and the fear of a future without the one who had become an integral part of your existence.
"Y/N..." Hawks whispered, placing his reassuring hand to your shoulder. "We should go back."
You looked at Hawks, your eyes demanding answers. "What happened here, Keigo?" you asked directly, the urgency and concern evident in your tone. "I know... I just feel in my bones you're not honest with me."
Hawks hesitated, reluctance painted across his features. "It was nothing," he replied vaguely, avoiding direct eye contact.
"Nothing?" you scoffed, frustration lacing your words. "You can't just stand by and watch Shoto destroy your settlement. Are you blind, Hawks? Blind to the destruction he causes, the lives he ruins?" The disappointment in your voice was palpable. "I may not be one of you, I'm a foreigner, that's true, but even to me, Skjaldvargr became home, and it truly hurts to witness it sinking under the spearheading of Shoto. Keigo, we need to stop him," you dared to say through sobs, raising your head to look into the man's golden eyes.
You saw Keigo hesitating, and deep inside, you sensed that a part of him agreed with your words. However, he remained silent.
Lowering your head, hot tears gouged trails in your pale cheeks, falling to the frozen ground beneath you. "He's going to get rid of us all once he doesn't find a purpose for us anymore. Mark my words," you whispered, the weight of your foreboding sinking into the cold, silent air.
Keigo suddenly opened up, his usual guarded demeanor faltering for a moment. "Look, Y/N, it's not that I can't see the destruction. It's just... I'm bound by loyalty. Loyalty to Shoto, even to his father Endeavor, may Allfather let his soul rest. As a warrior, it's not easy to defy the orders of those you've sworn allegiance to. I've known Shoto for a long time, since he was a little child, and I watched him grow. He's a fierce leader, a warrior of unmatched skill. And I swear to my life that I'll protect him." He sighed, conflicted emotions evident in his eyes. "But I do see your point. I can't ignore the destruction, the pain he's causing. It's tearing me apart too."
You slowly got up, looking up at the warrior. "Keigo," you whispered, your voice filled with a newfound understanding. "At first, I thought you were just a dumb marionette in the hands of Shoto, and I hated you with every fiber of my being. But now, I understand. There's only one way you can be freed, and that's by defeating Shoto. Do you think that's what Endeavor would want for his people, for his home?"
Keigo lowered his head, a heavy sigh escaping him. "Y/N, I've questioned my loyalty before, but it's not that simple. Defeating Shoto would mean betraying everything I've known, the code I've lived by. It's not just about me; it's about the years of service, the bonds forged in battles. But," he hesitated, glancing at you, "I can't ignore the destruction he's causing."
You looked up at him with sparks of hope in your eyes. "We need to do something. I don't ask you to stab him in the back. All I ask of you is not to stand in my way when I finally get a plan."
Keigo shook his head, and after a heavy sigh, and a moment of silence, he nodded, a subtle agreement to support your efforts.
You rubbed his shoulder gently. "Thank you for showing your true self, Takami," you expressed, a subtle gratitude in your touch. Glancing back above your shoulder, you shivered, not only from the overwhelming cold but also from the uneasy feeling building within your gut. "Let's get back home, shall we?"
Keigo nodded, and you both slowly descended the little hill.
However, you suddenly stopped. "Can you wait by the horses? I want to make a prayer," you asked, looking at him earnestly.
He agreed with a solemn nod, giving you the space you needed for your moment of reflection.
You found yourself in a white void, tiny snowflakes swirling in the cold breeze all around you. As you began to pray, your words were carried away by the frigid wind. "Oh, Allfather, hear my plea," you whispered, your voice merging with the stillness of the snowy expanse. "Grant my beloved Touya the rest among his ancestors in Valhalla. May he find solace and honor in the halls of the fallen warriors. Allfather," you continued, the words escaping your lips in the icy stillness, "grant Touya and Endeavor a reunion among the hallowed halls of your kingdom. Let them feast among the brave warriors, reunited in the afterlife. May their spirits know peace and camaraderie beyond the troubles of this world. I beseech you, Allfather, heed this prayer and let their souls find solace, together."
Your gaze shifted to the heavens. "Freya, goddess of love and guidance, lend me your strength. Guide me through the tumultuous path ahead. Even though I used to be a Christian, I am willing to pay with my life if needed. I believe in the power of your wisdom and protection. Help me, guide me, as I navigate the challenges that lay ahead. In your names, I find strength and solace."
With that, you let the silent void envelop you once more, the cold winds carrying your earnest plea into the vast expanse of the unknown.
Keigo waited for you and walked you back to the horses. With a gentle assist, he helped you mount Dabi's stallion, and soon, the rhythmic beat of hooves echoed as you headed back home.

The wind howled through the icy landscape, biting into the skin of Bakugo and Kirishima as they sat outside their hut.
Suddenly Bakugo scoffed loudly, his eyes fixed on a figure limping through the dirt path towards the longhouse of earl Toshinorison.
The man, using wooden crutches, struggled with each step, pain etched across his scarred face.
Bakugo's disdain was evident in his voice. "Tsk! Look at that cripple! He's not even able to walk without wincing like a pathetic bitch."
Kirishima shot his friend a sharp look and retaliated by throwing a tiny rock in his direction. "Quit it, Bakugo. He's not a cripple, and stop calling him names. He's Endeavorson, one of the best warriors of our times. That's not manly, calling someone names just because they're facing a tough time. It's only been three months since we found him, and he's already escaped death, man. Give him time," Kirishima huffed, turning his attention back to polishing his battle axe.
Bakugo rolled his eyes, a smirk playing on his lips. "Did you fall in love with him, huh, shitty hair?"
Kirishima shot him another glare. "Quit it, I said."
"Or what, idiot?!" Bakugo raised his voice, challenging his friend.
Kirishima rose from his spot, attaching his axe to his thick, leather belt. "Or I won't let you sleep near the fireplace tonight, man."
"Oi! Don't get offended at me just because of some stranger, Kirishima!" Bakugo retorted, but the red-haired man paid him no mind. Determination gleamed in Kirishima's eyes as he made his way towards the man walking with crutches.
"Hey," Kirishima called out, his voice cutting through the icy air. "How are you feeling, Endeavorson?" There was a genuine concern in his eyes, a stark contrast to the disdain Bakugo had shown earlier. Kirishima's approach was both unexpected and kind, catching Touya off guard.
Touya, unused to such warmth, stopped in his tracks, wooden crutches supporting his weakened frame. He looked at the red haired, tall man, surprise mingled with a hint of suspicion in his eyes. "I... I'm fine," he mumbled, unsure of how to respond to someone who wasn't avoiding him or hurling insults.
Kirishima didn't seem deterred by Touya's guarded response. Instead, he persisted, "No need to act tough. We," he pointed his head to the blonde haired man sitting near a little hut, "found you under those snowy cliffs, barely hanging on. Must've been a tough journey, huh? How's the healing going? You're not pushing yourself too hard, are you?"
Touya blinked, the concern in Kirishima's words sinking in. A small, appreciative smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he replied, "It's been... challenging. But I appreciate your concern. Not many here bother to ask how I'm doing, but I understand. They're afraid of me."
Kirishima nodded, a determined glint in his eyes. "Well, we're not all heartless. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask," he smiled. "So were you able to remind yourself what happened on that cliff, man?"
Touya's gaze flickered with a mix of gratitude and hesitation as he continued to walk, Kirishima keeping pace beside him. The snowy landscape seemed to stretch endlessly, mirroring the uncertainties that clouded Touya's memory. "I... I've been trying," Touya confessed, his voice carrying the weight of the struggle. "But it's all foggy, like trying to grasp onto a dream slipping through your fingers, you know? I remember the biting cold, the shadows, and then... nothing. It's frustrating."
Kirishima nodded understandingly, his rugged features softened with empathy. "Must've been a hell of an ordeal. But you made it out alive, and that counts for something, right?"
Touya offered a faint smile, appreciating Kirishima's attempt to find a silver lining. "Yeah, it does. I'm grateful for the second chance, even if the details are elusive. Maybe with time, the memories will piece themselves together."
Touya's gaze lingered on the vast, snowy expanse, contemplating the unknown that lay ahead.
Kirishima, sensing Touya's internal struggle, placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "We're here for you, Endeavorson. Whatever you're going through, you don't have to face it alone," Kirishima spoke with sincerity. "I most likely won't understand fully what you're going through, but you have a friend in me."
Touya nodded appreciatively, grateful for the unexpected ally by his side.
The path to the longhouse was accompanied by a comfortable silence, broken only by the crunch of their footsteps on the dirt path.
Kirishima decided to broach a topic he had heard from Earl Yagi. "Hey, Touya," Kirishima began, a curious glint in his eyes. "I heard from earl Yagi that you were eager to depart as soon as you woke up. What's the rush?"
Touya's gaze shifted, his expression momentarily distant as he recalled the urgency that had fueled his desire to leave. "Yeah," he admitted, a hint of vulnerability in his tone. "My family... they must've thought I died. I just wanted to see them again, let them know I'm alive."
Kirishima's grin widened, sensing there might be more to the story. "Is it just about family, or is there a special someone waiting for you, too?"
Touya's cheeks tinged with a subtle blush, and he averted his gaze. "Well, there is someone. I want to see her again."
Kirishima chuckled heartily, clapping Touya on the back. "Ah, love! Now it makes sense. A man's got priorities, that's so manly! You're not alone in wanting to reunite with your loved one. We all have something or someone worth fighting for."
Touya's embarrassment transformed into a bashful smile, appreciating Kirishima's understanding.
The imposing structure of the Great Hall loomed ahead, its massive doors beckoning them forward. Kirishima came to a stop, turning to face Touya with a determined expression. "Just so you know," Kirishima began, his voice carrying a tone of sincerity, "I and my best friend Bakugo, that forever-offended blonde you saw earlier, were assigned to help you regain your prowess in fighting once your legs work well again. And just don't mind Bakugo, he has an awful personality, but he's a great and skilled warrior."
Touya nodded appreciatively, grateful for the information and the support he was receiving in this unfamiliar place. "Thank you, Kirishima. I appreciate the help."
As they approached the heavy doors of the Great Hall, Kirishima stepped forward, taking the initiative to open them for Touya. The creaking hinges echoed through the hall as the doors swung open, revealing the grandeur within.
"Go ahead," Kirishima gestured, a courteous smile on his face. "Take your time. And you can call me Eijiro or Red Riot, whatever suits you better."
Touya nodded again, his gratitude evident in his turquoise eyes. He slowly made his way inside, the warmth of the hall a stark contrast to the cold exterior.
Kirishima remained at the entrance, waiting patiently until Touya had safely entered the hall. "Good luck in there," Kirishima offered a parting wish, his voice filled with genuine encouragement. "And if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. We're here for you."
With that, Kirishima bid farewell to Touya and turned to go about his duties, leaving the Great Hall behind him.
The heavy doors closed with a resounding thud, enveloping Touya in the welcoming embrace of the earl's domain.
Earl Toshinorison, immersed in the weight of his responsibilities, looked up from the documents as he noticed Touya entering the room. A warm smile played on his lips, and he beckoned for Touya to join him. "Oh, Touya, come here, come here," earl Yagi greeted, his voice carrying a sense of camaraderie.
Touya, despite the lingering pain in his legs, slowly made his way to a long table and took a seat on a wooden chair with a heavy sigh. "Any news from the envoy, my lord?" Touya inquired, his tone laced with concern. "Forgive me for asking about this repeatedly, but it's already been several days, and we haven't heard from them yet."
Earl Yagi placed a paper on the table and set the metal stylus aside, giving Endeavorson a knowing glance. "You're impatient, son. I'm sure we'll hear from them soon. Don't forget your settlement is nearly four days away from here," he reminded, attempting to assuage Touya's worries.
Despite the reassurance, an unfamiliar, unpleasant feeling lingered within Touya whenever he thought about his home. He hoped for the well-being of everyone there, especially Shoto, praying that he had managed to escape the looming threat they apparently faced together. And then there was you, his beloved woman, whose name rolled off Touya's lips every relentless night.
Touya nodded in acknowledgment of earl Yagi's words, yet the unease persisted. The distant wait for news from his homeland weighed heavily on him, and the yearning for assurance about the safety and happiness of those he left behind lingered like a shadow in the depths of his thoughts.

Shortly after returning from your journey with Hawks, you began feeling unwell.
A day later, Shoto returned from his own trip, only to find you in considerable pain, experiencing contractions.
The burden of sorrow and sadness weighed heavily on you, prompting an untimely and challenging childbirth.
You lay on the bed in earl Shoto's room, the sheets already stained with your blood and tears. The midwives bustled around you, their faces etched with concern. The pain was unbearable, like a thousand knives stabbing you with each contraction. You screamed, the sound echoing through the room.
Shoto paced back and forth near the bed, his face contorted with worry. "Help her!" he screamed at the thralls, his voice filled with pure rage. "Help her or I'll hang you by the dawn!"
They scurried to your side, wiping your forehead with a damp cloth. The pain was indescribable, a searing, burning sensation that threatened to consume you.
Shoto's face was pale as he watched the scene unfold. He glanced between your legs, his eyes widening at the sight of blood and gore.
Shoto's eyes darted away, an involuntary reaction to a scene that was unbearable even for someone who had witnessed his fair share of hardships. The weight of the sights he had seen in the past seemed to pale in comparison to what lay before him now. "Do something! She's in pain!" he roared.
"Push, my lady," one of the midwives urged, her voice gentle but firm. "You need to push!"
You bore down, your body shaking with the effort. You could feel the baby's head crowning, the sensation both terrifying and exhilarating. You gritted your teeth and pushed. You had never felt pain like this before, but you knew it would all be worth it in the end. "I... Can't..." you whimpered, your head rolling back to the pillows.
"Again, push now," the midwife said, her voice soothing. "You're doing great, my lady. Just a little bit more, and the baby will be here, my lady."
You pushed once more, using all of your strength, feeling the baby slip from your body, and you screamed in pain again.
The midwives rushed to clean the baby, their faces alight with joy. "It's a boy," one of them said, and you felt a surge of love and happiness as the first tears rolled down your flushed cheeks.
But your pain was far from over. The afterbirth needed to be delivered, and the contractions continued to rack your body. You screamed, the sound primal and raw.
Shoto's face was a mask of worry, but he remained silent, knowing that there was nothing he could do to ease your pain.
The midwives worked quickly, delivering the afterbirth and cleaning you up. The pain slowly began to subside, leaving you exhausted but relieved.
Shoto approached the midwife who was holding the newborn. After the baby was cleaned, it was passed to the young earl. He scoffed loudly, growing angry upon seeing a white down on the little boy's head and the pair of perfectly turquoise eyes slowly opening from time to time. "Fuck," Shoto growled with anger.
You begged the midwife to pass you the baby, and she took the baby from Shoto after he passed it with anger.
The baby was placed to your chest, and you slowly stroked the little head. It was Touya's child. Shoto's anger was now painfully clear.
You hesitated to meet Shoto's gaze, apprehensive of the storm brewing within him. His face was etched with pure rage, and for a moment, you feared his reaction.
Shoto, after a moment of tense silence, finally spoke, his voice cold and measured. "I should expect you to bear my deceased brother's child," he stated, his eyes locked onto yours. “Pathetic whore.”
As you glanced at him with a mix of fear and uncertainty, Shoto's expression softened slightly, yet you noticed a twisted grimace curling his lips. "However," he continued, "I'll raise this boy as my own son. Once you recover from childbirth, we'll lay together again. And again. And again. I'll ensure you give me my own heir."
You trembled at Shoto's words, the mere thought of having to lay with him again sending a cold shiver down your spine. The weight of his expectations, the complex emotions surrounding the situation, and the uncertainty of your future left you paralyzed.
Before you could manage a reply, Shoto simply left the room, leaving behind a lingering coldness in his wake. His parting words, a sharp and indifferent command to his thralls, hung in the air. "Clean that fucking mess."
You looked down at the crying baby nestled in your arms, his tiny features a poignant reminder of the complex emotions swirling within you. Gently, you pressed a tender kiss on the tiny forehead, feeling the warmth of your affection seep into the fragile being. "My little boy. My beautiful boy," you whispered, your voice a mixture of love, gratitude, and a tinge of sorrow. The tear that rolled down your cheek bore witness to the intricate tapestry of emotions woven into this moment.
With a heartfelt sincerity, you turned your gaze skyward and silently thanked Freya, the goddess who had guided you through this tumultuous journey. Gratitude filled your heart for the gift of Touya's son, a precious life that now depended on your love and care.
In the quiet moments that followed, the room seemed to echo with the soft cries of the newborn, a testament to the fragility and resilience of life. As you cradled the baby close, you vowed to navigate the challenges ahead with the same strength and determination that had brought you to this moment. And in the stillness of the room, you found solace in the love that already bloomed between you and the tiny soul entrusted to your care.
Meanwhile, Shoto sat heavily on the throne in the grand throne chamber, the weight of recent events evident in the furrowed lines on his forehead. The air in the room seemed thick with tension as he grappled with the tumultuous emotions swirling within.
Hawks, having learned from the guards that the child had been born, stepped into the chamber cautiously. "My lord?" he inquired, bowing respectfully to Shoto.
The red-and-white-haired earl glanced at his most trusted warrior, his expression a mix of frustration and agitation. "It's his," Shoto snarled, the words escaping his lips with a venomous edge. "He won't stop hounding me, even from the afterlife."
Hawks, recognizing the gravity of Shoto's words, remained silent for a moment, his keen eyes studying the earl's troubled demeanor.
"Is that Odin trying to punish me for my deeds? Apparently, the past never dies," Shoto's voice cut through the somber air, a question directed more to the invisible forces than to anyone present in the room. His mismatched eyes remained fixed on some distant point, as if seeking answers in the unseen. "All I ever wanted was to make Skjaldvargr strong like never before, so everyone would fear us," Shoto continued, his voice carrying a mix of determination and introspection.
As the room absorbed his words, Shoto's thoughts seemed to wander into the realm of self-doubt. "Maybe I made a mistake letting Touya die? Killing my father?" he whispered, the words almost lost in the echoes of his inner turmoil. A moment later, he shook his head, as if attempting to dispel the doubts that threatened to take root. "No. All these decisions were good."
Before the heavy silence could stretch further, a guard interrupted, stepping into the room with news. "My lord, an envoy from Hvinverjadalr pleads to see you."
Shoto's frown deepened, exchanging glances with Hawks, who maintained his silent vigil. With a reluctant nod, the earl acknowledged the envoy's request, setting aside the internal struggle for the time being to face the external challenges that awaited him in the form of the visiting envoy.
The guards led the older man into the throne chamber, where he was forced to kneel before Shoto, the earl of Skjaldvargr. Shoto, in a gesture of casual indifference, rested his chin on his hand, which was propped against an armrest of his bespangled throne, his mismatched eyes keenly observing the envoy.
The older man bowed respectfully and identified himself as an envoy from Hvinverjadalr, bearing a message from Earl Toshinorison.
Shoto's expression tightened slightly at the mention of the earl's name. All Might, known by that call sign, was a formidable adversary of Shoto's deceased father, Endeavor.
"What message are you bringing to us?" Shoto inquired, his tone measured and unwavering.
The envoy bowed once more before revealing the content of the message. "Our earl wants to let you know your brother, Touya Endeavorson, is well and alive in our settlement."
Shoto's eyes widened slowly, the weight of the revelation sinking in. The news was like a sudden gust of wind, sweeping away the hopes of his carefully crafted plans to turn true. A mix of disbelief and hope flickered in Shoto's mismatched eyes, and for a moment, the throne chamber seemed suspended in a profound silence as the implications of this unexpected revelation unfolded. “Is that so?” he ground his question out.
The envoy nodded his head, offering an explanation for the delayed revelation. "We didn't let you know earlier, my lord, as Touya was in a very serious health condition. Thankfully, Allfather helped him to survive and slowly regain his health."
Shoto's gaze shifted to Hawks, the unspoken understanding between them echoing in the charged silence.
Hawks felt his heart quicken within his chest, a mix of surprise and worry coursing through his veins. The news, while unexpected, carried a glimmer of hope, a flicker of a possibility Hawks hadn't dared to entertain until now. Perhaps Y/N words were prophetic?
Shoto's features remained composed, but the intensity in his mismatched eyes betrayed the emotions churning beneath the surface.
Shoto, with practiced ease, managed to summon a smile that did not reach his mismatched eyes. "Thank you for the news," he said, his tone wryly polite. The revelation about Touya's survival had stirred a tempest of conflicting emotions within him, and Shoto struggled to conceal the storm behind a veneer of civility. He leaned back into his throne, feigning casual interest. "Did my brother share any details about what happened?" Shoto inquired, a facade of genuine concern in his voice.
The envoy shook his head, "No, my lord. Touya doesn't remember much."
Shoto's grin, though slight, carried a complexity of emotions. It was a bittersweet acknowledgment, for while Touya's survival brought threat to all of Shoto's plans, the memory loss shielded him from the painful truth of Shoto's involvement in the events that had transpired.
"And for that wonderful news, you deserve a reward," Shoto declared, a saccharine smile playing on his lips. His gaze shifted to a guard, and with a small nod, the envoy's fate was sealed.
In a swift, merciless motion, the guard slit the envoy's throat, and the dying man was unceremoniously pushed onto the stone floor. The chamber echoed with the grotesque sounds of a life seeping away.
Shoto nodded at his guards, his demeanor betraying little emotion. "Clean the mess and dispose of the body," he ordered, rising from the throne.
Hawks approached the earl, his eyes reflecting a mixture of curiosity and concern. "What are you planning to do now, my lord?" he inquired, his tone laced with a sense of anticipation.
Shoto regarded him with a pointed look, his expression unyielding. "We are preparing for war," he declared, his voice carrying a resolute edge. "I won't allow our people to rally behind Touya. The truth of his survival will inevitably surface, that much is certain. So, we'll take the initiative. We'll inform them that my eldest brother, dear as he may be, has chosen to form an alliance with our notorious adversary, Toshinorison. It will serve as a perfect pretext to launch an attack on Hvinverjadalr, and sever the head of my beloved brother for his betrayal."

The Last Straw -Shoto x Reader Angst to Fluff
Sorry I haven't posted in a while.. I started working on a request, and then some ideas for a few others and that took all my time, and now I'm in a block and it's really really annoying >.<
This was written a while ago, but I wasn't that confident in it so I decided not to post, but I guess I'll just post it now, so sorry if it sucks </3 | also I had 0 idea what to put for the title :')
Angst to fluff | Fluff(??) ending | 1,497 words
Warnings!: arguing, yelling, cruel words, Shoto being a jerk, self hate, guilt, a teeny bit of self harm (Shoto scratching his face), self doubt, Shoto hating himself :(, kinda open ending but not necessarily
Tumblr media
You and Shoto have known each other since middle school. You dated for four years, and have been married for three. You both love one another dearly, and have memorized each other's patterns, habits, preferences, pet peeves, and everything in-between. And besides the rare arguments your life was a dream. Filled with laughter and happiness. Your husband did his very best to provide the best life for you, and he sure did deliver. You were happy, very happy. Key word 'were'.
As crime rates grew higher (ik ik I'm sorry this is probably old >.< <3) the pro heroes gained more hours. And Shoto being the top 3 in Japan led him to take a large portion of the work load. Leaving him with only a few hours to care for his basic needs, let alone a relationship. It was draining really, but you persevered, knowing that it wasn't personal, and that it might would go back to normal soon.
Except, it didn't. It went on for months, and you were crumbling. You would wake up at six to get ready for work to see Shoto dead asleep, arm splayed across your form, face buried into your shoulder. You would smile sadly, kissing his hand softly. After a few minutes of admiring your charming prince, you'd move him to his body pillow that totally did NOT have a cute pic of you giving him an in-love smile on one side and a seductive look on the other, which he grasped onto, burying his face into the pillow which smelt like you.
After work you'd get home to make dinner for two, putting Shoto's portion into a bento for tomorrow. After that you do the chores, relax, and then go to bed, alone. It was tiring, really. Even on his one day off he just slept and you had work so you couldn't even cuddle with him. It was really starting to wear you down. And after the total crap day, you lost it. Instead of going to bed on time like you usually do, you decided to rage clean the house, knocking down all of your 'to do's.
Clean out the fridge?
Check.
Reorganize the pantry?
Check.
Sort through all the piled up mail and emails?
Check.
Deep clean all the furniture and carpets?
Check.
After all of this, you finally admired your work before glancing at the clock; 3:53. Cursing, you quickly move to get to bed, only stopping as you hear the front door creak open. Freezing, your eyes grew wide -and hopeful- as Shoto walked in, a few bruises scattering his body.
His hair was a disheveled mess, and his suit was soaked with grime from the day. His eyes were exhausted as he took in your frozen form, not quite recognizing how late you stayed up. As you studied your husband, you noticed how dark his eye bags were, and how his exhausted eyes raked across you, sinking in the sight. You blushed as you realized you were only wearing your undergarments and one of Shoto's shirts.
"Sho-"
"What are you doing awake?" Shoto asked, moving inside and closing the door.
"I had a crap day and-" you paused as you heard Shoto scoff as he moved to disregard his hero costume, setting the gear onto the newly cleaned floor.
"Why.. why did you scoff at me?" You ask, confusion and hurt consuming your thoughts.
"It's nothing y/n."
"It's not nothing Sho."
"Just drop it y/n."
"Fine! I will."
"Finally." Shoto murmured, causing you to swerve your head toward him.
"Finally?! What is that supposed to mean?"
"Gosh y/n! Just leave me alone!"
"Leave you alone?! Shoto- we've hardly talked to one another in months!"
"Are you implying that that's my fault?! I have to work y/n! We can't survive on your wage now can we?" Shoto spat, heterochromatic eyes filled with anger.
"I'm just saying that it's unreasonable for you to get mad at me talking to you, when the last time we talked in person was when I dropped off your forgotten bento two weeks ago. Which made me late, and caused my crappy boss to scream at me. But I didn't complain, because I got to talk to you."
"I'm exhausted y/n. I just want to sleep. I'm sorry you got yelled at, but it's your fault for annoying me at work. Punctuality is important. Maybe your lack of it is the reason why you didn't get accepted as a hero."
At Shoto's words you just stood there, mouth agape. Your failure at becoming a hero was a huge insecurity of yours, and you trusted Shoto to comfort you, to be supportive of your heart crushing failure and help you get over it. But, instead he's just rubbing it in your face.
"T-that's not fair and you know it."
"Oh yeah? I think it's more than fair. In fact, I have a lot more to say to you if you're going to be like that."
"Excuse me?! What the heck is wrong with you!?"
"You're what's wrong with me. Moron!"
Your voice caught in your throat as tears threatened to spill. Unaware of your distressed state, Shoto went on, spitting insults with such venom that he didn't sound like himself.
"You're completely useless y/n. All you ever do is spend money and nag me."
"Your 'job' isn't worth anything compared to mine. If you were useful enough to become a hero you'd at least make something. But no~ instead you played around, got bad grades, and snuck into a boy's dorm. Distracting him from success."
"You do nothing in this house that I payed for."
While Shoto went on and on the tears fell down your face. As Shoto's words grew harsher and more venomous he took a step forward, backing you into a wall, step by step. As your back hit the wall you called out to Shoto who didn't even seem to hear you.
"I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I MARRIED SOMEONE LIKE YOU!"
"SHOTO STOP IT! YOU'RE SCARING ME!" As you screamed at him you broke down in sobs, body sinking to the floor. Shoto froze as he heard your sobs, finally being pulled to the moment he looked down in horror to see your shaking, sobbing form. As he stood there stunned, all of his words knocked him to his knees, leaving him hyperventilating as he clutched at his aching heart.
Did he.. really say all.. of those horrid things.. to you? As he remembered every word that he said and your face as he said them he completely broke.
His screams echoed through the night, drowning out your retched sobs.
Your sobs slowed as you looked up, concerned for your love. Yes, he hurt you. A lot. But you still cared for him, and you knew that if he was left to his own thoughts he'd imagine something bigger. Something terribly horrifying.
So, moving to your knees, you moved your body to his, his face buried to the floor as he screamed. "Sho baby.." you whisper, tears falling down your face at his broken state. When he didn't respond, you gently placed a hand onto his shoulder.
As soon as he recognized your touch he jerked away, rolling away from you pitifully.
"NO! GO AWAY! I-I-I'LL HURT YOU AGAIN-" At his own words he broke down in sobs, nails clawing at his face savagely.
"Shoto stop that!" You exclaim, lunging to grab his hands. Shoto just weakly resisted, attempting to pull his hands out of yours and toward his face, whispering the words "no" and "leave" repeatedly.
After a while his sobs ceased, and he just let you hold his hands, which you did so gently, caressing them lovingly as you gazed into the broken eyes of your beloved. His eyes were blank, as if the burden of hurting you caused him to pass away silently.
But you could tell by his small breaths and the warmth of his hands that he's only attempting to cope. After a while you were drifting to sleep when your attention was grasped by Shoto's hoarse voice.
"Y/n.. I'm really sorry. I don't know what came over me.. I'll understand if you want to leave."
"Sho Baby.. I'm not going to leave you. And thank you for your apology. But.. you hurt me, a lot. And no, no you are not like your father and no you are not a terrible person nor husband. You just made a mistake. Everyone does. And I know that I've messed up in the past. And did you leave me? No. You stayed, and we worked things through together. Shoto, we will go back to normal. And you will learn from your mistakes, okay? So please, please don't hate yourself. If you beat up on my baby then you'll hurt me further."
Shoto just nodded, eyes tearing up again as he wrapped his larger form around you, nuzzling his face into your neck desperately.
Yeah I don't know, I felt like I rushed the ending?? Hope you enjoyed!

Love is a Curse
Trope: Angst
Warnings: none
Word Count: 818
Tumblr media
He is perfect.
Fingers threads through your hair, abruptly stopping when you question: would you be sad if I die?
His eyebrows knit together, he stares at you with confusion - you aren't dying.
You want to smile, if I do?
I won't let you.
He is a man of few words, it's often not he expresses himself but when he does, your chest rumbles with an emotion you certainly know about.
I am never letting you go. You're stuck with me forever.
You know he's right. You truly are stuck with him forever.
.
He is like dopamine.
Touches aren't what you expected them to be. You know the touch even with his presence or absence.
They belong to you after all.
It's his name you chant, his name you say. Whether they be alone or in middle of a crowd. Your mind screams his name, always. The fantasies you stage revolves around him, always.
Everything he does leaves you wanting more.
You tell him this one very night, lying in your bed. He listens, he knows. He is there every night, every time, every second. He knows.
But he doesn't answer.
You close your eyes, then you hear him say.
So do I, for you.
.
Distraction doesn't work.
You try to. You really do.
You try using apps, moving to your people, your friends, your teachers, your family. They don't help at all. And you are down the rabid hole again.
Then you are running to him.
He scolds you, still taking you back with open arms. Chiding you for even trying to believe what they said.
Arms wrapped tight against your body, you cry silent tears hearing words so endearing. You don't deserve this.
He knows what you are thinking. You deserve everything, my love. The stars, the moon, the sun, the world... I will give you what you want. I am yours.
Why does he do this? Doesn't he know it has you falling for more?
He is cruel.
.
It's on days you want to comfort him.
You see him again. You read him again. As always.
There is a smile on your face and your chest is rumbling with that emotion again. You almost can't stop your squeal.
But then you see him in despair, in pain.
And it hurts you seeing him hurt. Emotional or physical, it doesn't matter. It hurts seeing him hurt.
You want to reach out and comfort him. But you can't.
.
Everyone tells you, you shouldn't be this devoted.
You can only answer that you can't.
Your devotion can never measure up to his. His affection, his tenderness, his devotion... his love. They are immeasurable for you.
But he is consumed with darkness. They say.
They fail to understand that you love his darkness as much as his light. For in your darkness, only he sits with you. Only he knows about it.
The parts they see as ugly and unlovable, are the very parts he said he loves the most about you when you said it to him.
Plugging the earphones on, you hear his voice again on the other end.
Did you forget me, pretty? You aren't calling lately, or did you find someone else? Nah, can't be. You have to get rid of me before that.
And getting rid of me isn't that easy.
You hate how he knows so much about you.
.
The men around you are... nice.
And it's just that. They are nice.
Some of them better than the other, some worse. And you know, you can live with one of them, one day.
But it feels wrong.
Thinking about other guys feels wrong.
Its foolish of you to even think you can ever replace him with one of them. Even when the touch of another on your skin repulses you.
And at the end of the day, its just that - they are nice.
Then you question:
Can they ever understand you like him? Can they ever know you like him? Can they ever accept all the darkness about you like him? Can you ever love you like him? Can they ever be him?
The answer is clear.
Hence, you are running back to him. He accepts you with open arms.
He is your home, regardless of what he does.
He tells you that, It is fine. I will never let you go, pretty. You are mine.
And that's what you want to be. His.
.
You open your eyes.
You see the ceiling, you are in your room.
Love is a curse. It has you falling for him in every way possible. And it's him, that you want. You wonder if you'll get over him.
You want to laugh. Who are you kidding? It's been years.
You smile, a single tear rolls down your eyes. The realization hits you again, like every other day.
You love him. You want him. But you can't.
You exist. He doesn't.

Could you make a part two to the daddy issues with bakugou story? Like maybe deku or todoroki, or even kirishima take his place as a father figure and he has to deal with that? Like heavy angst on his part but hecka amount of fluff for the reader and daughter?
You asked and shall receive! :)
–> Part 1 to this imagine.
NOTE: I chose Todoroki for this request, hope that's alright.
Bakugou first sees you with him while he's on patrol. Kirishima is talking his ear off about something but his focus is on you and how you tuck a strand of your hair shyly behind your ear.
At first, he thinks it's a coincidence. You with... him. So, he doesn't think much of your meeting with Todoroki and soon enough, he forgets about it.
What makes him change his mind later, is the photos, taken by those nosy bastards and then, the multiple articles that flood his feed. They are everywhere. The articles, the photos of you and Todoroki eating dinner at some fancy restaurant, him giving you a bouquet of flowers and walking together in the park, him picking up your daughter from UA–
Wait... what?
Picking up your— his daughter, from UA?
What the fuck?!
Bakugou's wife tries to assure him that it's probably nothing and reminds him that he shouldn't care. And so what if his ex is dating again? He has a wife and a son who love him very much. He shouldn't care. He knows that. It's not like he doesn't love his wife or anything, but..
He does cares. He cares and he cares a lot because he regrets what he did to you sixteen years ago. He regrets leaving you. He was young, afraid and stupid and it's his fault that things are the way they are now. He acknowledges that. He'd hoped to talk things out with you and apologize but now with Todoroki...
It's not that he doesn't want you to be happy but now, how will he manage to apologize with Todoroki in the middle? How will he manage to make things right with you?
God knows how much he wants to make things right with your daughter but it's not like she allows him to. He tries and tries but to her, he's nothing but a stranger, a pest and everytime he calls to see how she's doing and she calls him "Bakugou-san", the pain doubles, especially when he first sees the photos of her and Todoroki spending time together.
Now that Todoroki's in the picture, will she start calling him dad instead?
He doesn't want to find out.

Ex husband shoto hcs
————————————————————
• Ex husband shoto who after the divorce went to your house every day with a new bouquet of flowers, half red, half white, and a few pink ones sprinkled in there to symbolise you. you told him to stop but he never did, until you moved away.
• Ex husband shoto who became obsessed with finding a prostitute that looked like you to use for his pleasure. it became an addiction. and yet when he found her, had his fun with her, he was left empty. she wasn't you, and that upset him greatly.
• Ex husband shoto who found your new house and cringes at the sight of you and another man in the window after following you home. he does everything in his power to break you both up. going as far as hiring a woman to sleep with the man. it works and you're left alone. your second partner to cheat on you.
• Ex husband shoto who buys a mannequin and dresses her up as you, hes deeply distressed almost all the time after losing you so he pretends you're there when you're not. kissing the mannequin and crying after it doesn't hold him like you did.
• Ex husband shoto who keeps your contact saved as "my precious wife" even after the divorce. he refuses to change it, because to him, you're still there, with him. he begins seeing things that aren't there. you beckoning to him when all that lies in front of him is the balcony edge. he falls for it almost every time.
• Ex husband shoto who finally approaches you and knocks at your front door, sobbing and reaching for you and pleading with you to take him back. he never meant to sleep with your best friend, he was drunk. it was an accident. he pleads and pleads but when he looks up and meets your eyes. a look of disgust is shot at him before the door is slammed in his face.

How would Deku, Bakugo, Shoto, Mirio, Hawks and Dabi react to their girlfriend getting kidnapped?
Thanks for the angst Anon.
Pairing: Izuku, Bakugo, Shoto, Mirio, Keigo, Touya x Fem!Reader
Tags: fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, kidnapping, injury, soothing kisses
A/N: More angst for today, more!
Tumblr media
Izuku freaks out outwardly
Will lose sleep over finding you and even after finding you too
Carries you to the medical wing himself cause he doesn't want to be apart from you for a second
Breaks into tears once the fight with your kidnappers is over
He's hard to understand cause his voice keeps cracking from worry
Visibly tired but stays up the whole night anyway to make sure you don't have nightmares
Talks loudly when he should be whispering, all from worry
One of the rare times when you see him absolutely furious
Keeps an eye on you for days after
Blushes when you constantly call him your hero
Tumblr media
Bakugo absolutely loses his mind when you go missing
Yells at everyone who was on the mission with you
Blames himself most of all but he can save that self-loathing for after he saves you
Very brutal and angry while he fights, so much so that he's the one who looks like the bad guy
Scares the living shit out of everyone but you
Holds onto you like his life depends on it
No one else can touch you, he barely even lets doctors do it
Snaps his fingers and makes angry sparks while he waits
Gets even more protective, real guard dog energy
Does not allow himself to cry in front of you
Tumblr media
Shoto keeps a cool head while looking for you
Even when he's talking to your kidnappers he's calm
The only time his composure cracks is when they threateen to hurt you in front of him
A noticable drop in temperature happens right then
He's a little less careful when fighting if your life is on the line
Won't hesitate to use his fire quirk as a a scare tactic
Gets almost as scary as his dad
Cools any injuries you have so it's easier for you to handle them while you get actual medical attention
Doesn't realize half of him is burning while the other half of the waiting room wall is frozen solid
The first thing he does when he sees you is kiss you
Tumblr media
Mirio tries to keep his composure but it's cracking fast
Those who know him best can already see how worried he is
Always pushed himself far but esoecially now, he's all over the place
Snaps at his friends when they tell him he's pushing himself too much
Makes really quick work of your kidnappers, he can't stand the sight of them
Talks very little while fighting so you know he is rightfully pissed
Nothing can keep him out of your room that night
Makes sure to smile around you a lot
Cries as soo as you tell him you can see how much pain he's in
Has nightmares for a few days after
Tumblr media
Keigo flies all over the city in a wild frenzy
Almost crashed a few times because he kept pushing his wings to their limit
Close to pasing out when he finally finds you
He is not in a mood to hear what the kidnappers want
Just wants them gone and you safe in his arms
Only has a few feathers left so he needs to make this quick
Doesn't stick around for any press talk or picrures
To be honest he doesn't see this as something people should know to many details off
You need to get home where he can keep an eye on you and look you over for injurues but it looks it's just a few scratches
As soon as his wings grow back he wraps them protectively around you
Tumblr media
Touya is surprised anyone has the nerve to kidnap his girlfriend
Your kidnapers must have a death wish
Makes a very big and loud enerance, they should all know how much trouble they're in
Almost kills all of them in his anger, the only thing that makes him pause is your crying face
You've already been through enough today, he won't add you seeing him like a killer
But these guys won't ever think of kidnaping everyone ever again
If he could he would put you in a box and never let anyone so much as see you
Does give you as much freedom as you need however he insists that he's always with you from now on
Seems like his fearsome reputation is no longer enough to keep you safe
He'll glady make examples of anyone who tries to hurt you
