What Petnames they call you

I’ve seen quite a few blogs do this and I just want to throw my personal hc’s in the ring while I work through this writer’s block.

not exactly proof read, so sorry for any grammatical/spelling mistakes! It’s midnight lol.

Lucifer

my immortal Darling. It feels dark, mysterious, and romantic. The way his says it feels vaguely threatening but in a hot way. You feel like you’re dating a vampire.

Dove. Now this one can have a double meaning, depending on how you look at it. On one hand it seems sweet, like he finds you adorable like a little bird. On the other hand he sees you as something to possess, to cage away and own, like a little bird.

Besides those two, there’s not much else. He refers to you as his significant other or other half in conversations with other people, but he likes to keep it fairly straightforward. He much prefers the sound of your name rolling off his tongue.

Mammon

His favorite, of course albeit cheesy, is Treasure. He’s the Avatar of Greed and you’re the most important thing he’s acquired throughout his many, many years. It’s only natural to call ya what ya are!

Next in line would be Doll or Dollface. Not only does it flow with his cadence of speech, but he thinks it fits you perfectly! He’d never admit it out loud, but he loves to dress ya up in whatever cute little outfit he bought you from majolish this week, and he just finds you so adorable. But he’ll also use this one when he wants to be a bit more sultry.

He loves to call you Human when he’s teasing you, or specifically his human. He used the one generally at first around others when he was first assigned as your guardian. Now it’s my human whenever someone decides to get a little bit too friendly with you

He also uses Puppy when he’s teasing you for wanting attention or being needy in bed. You can fight me on this, and you will lose.

Levi

Henry. Yes yes we already know this one but it means a lot to him! It means you’re his best friend and his whole world! It means he can show his endearment through something he is familiar and comfortable with. And! It’s dorky!

He refers to you as his Player Two in the context of being his teammate, or the one person he can count on or wants to partner up with for any specific task. Wherever one goes, the other follows

He has the most trouble calling you Baby. It makes him so flustered! But it’s worth it to see the smile on your face.

Satan

He’s a big fan of Dear. It’s not too sappy and it’s not too flashy. It’s a classic, and he believes it conveys perfectly how he feels out you. There’s nothing in any realm more dear to his heart than you.

He’s read one two many fairytales and now he can’t stop calling you Prince/Princess. He wants to treat you like royalty, and trust that he will. Now if you want to call him your prince, he’ll absolutely melt.

Kitty or Kitten. OKAY LISTEN-

Asmo

Love! It’s short, sweet, and to the point. It embodies everything that he is and everything he sees in you.

He’s the Avatar of Lust, of course he’s gonna call you Sexy, and he does it in the most casual of ways? He’ll call across the hall to you with this nickname, not caring who’s around to hear. He’ll giggle at Belphie call of “gross”, and Levi’s rasp of “normies”

Asmo may call a lot of people Sweetie, but don’t get it twisted, you’re the only person that he calls that and MEANS it. No one can replace you! There’s no one better, other than hiself of course. But you’re okay with that, right Sweetie?

Beel

(oh gosh oh golly here come the food nicknames)

One of Beel’s favorites to cure his sweet tooth is Honey - and there’s on one sweeter than you! It’s like he can combine his two favorite things, food and you!

Babe. A lot of people give this one to Mammon, but I really feel it for Beel. He uses this one a lot in from of his Fangol teammates. As he gets ready to hit the field, he’ll give you a quick kiss before asking, “Will you cheer for me, Babe?”. It’s rhetorical of course, you’re his biggest fan.

Sugar. Okay, can you blame him? The only thing that can rival his gigantic cravings is his massive love for you. Plus, if your nickname is good related, it reminds him how hungry he is, then he can invite you to come snack with him. It’s a win-win!

Belphie

Belphie physically cannot stop himself from calling you Cutiepie. Gosh, he gets of have one of those cherished humans he was so fascinated by all to himself? and you’re just so adorable? He can’t help it when he fawns all over you.

Sunshine. You were the shimmering, beautiful light that pulled him out of the dark place he has hidden himself away in all those years ago. You helped him move on from Lilith, you helped him see the good in humans again, and you helped him see that his brothers really do truly care for him. Now, you are the light that guides him.

He uses Beautiful the most generally. He doesn’t feel embarrassed saying it in front of his brothers, and he gets to compliment you at the same time.

(some) Loser club HCs

(this was something I started when I was really into IT, but never finished. But I had worked hard on these at the time and I figured why not post them? I only got to 5/7 losers (the last two theres really barely anything- I was writting them down over time, thought dumping basically.

Do keep in mind though, these are pretty old- and I'm not really in the fandom anymore)

Trigger warnings: All of the Losers have trauma, mentions of canon and non canon abuse, mentions of selfharm and suicide (nothing graphic), brief mention of an ED

Note: First of all, please keep in mind I only read half the book. So most of what I know is from the (new) movies and the fandom. Most if not all of these are kid/teen losers. Also a lot of this is based around my personal views of the characters, which is why I'm so anxious to post. I may read into the characters totally different than everyone else, but hopefully you'll like some of these. Any of the interactions between Losers can be seen as platonic or romantic as I ship Poly Losers. Whatever you prefer.

Bill-

-Like I said all the Losers have trauma, from pennywise and bullying/abuse, so they all have some form of PTSD. I won't repeat that for every Loser

-Bill also has mild anxiety, even before the whole Georgie situation, and depression

-His stutter makes it hard for him to make any connection with most people in Derry, even adults. They are either impatient or write him off as stupid.

-He is often non verbal when not around the losers

-After the whole Georgie situation his parents neglect him.

-He ends up very skinny because while there is food in the house, it's barely anything. A couple cans of soup, oatmeal, a box of crackers. Maybe some other things but not much.

-He steals his dad’s old clothes. They are too big on him but it's one of the only ways he gets new clothes.

-The other is getting clothes from the Losers or eventually when he gets a job, buying them from cheap places.

-That's also why he wears jorts, he has to cut his own jeans for shorts

-Ok so you know that old lady in the first movie that has the cat and is the last person to see Georgie alive? Yeah Bill goes to visit her

-At first it was to try and get more answers

-But when she has none he gets upset and she invites him in for tea or something

-And then he starts to visit her more- as he is always welcome.

-Eventually he ends up watering her plants or taking care of her cat for a little money. These are things the woman could definitely do on her own, but she know how Bill’s parents are and knows he won't take money without “earning” it

-After a while Bill meets Mike, He ends up helping on his farm.

-He doesn't come around nearly as often, but every so often he’ll surprise her with a visit. Sometimes he’ll even bring Mike.

-Yes I created this whole ass story for a character who doesn't have a name and has like a minute of screen time.. Anyway-

-Bill’s favorite thing to do on the farm is feed the animals. More specifically the chickens.

-He had an incident where he was going to feed the pigs, holding their giant thing of food, when he tripped into the pen. (you know he clumsy)

-He opened his eyes to a bunch of pig snouts that were way too close. He doesn't feed the pigs anymore. Boy is traumatized

-There is one cow that is way sweeter than the others, and so gentle. This cow is Bill’s favorite. He calls him Mike when Mike isn't around. Bill doesn't know that Mike knows

-Bill hates rain

-Drizzles aren't so bad but the harder it rains the worse it is

-Sometimes the Losers come over to comfort him, sometimes he’ll push them away feeling he doesn't deserve it

-He goes bird watching with Stan but ends up falling asleep. Every. Single. Time.

-Stan can't really get mad, everyone knows Bill needs any sleep he can get

-And yeah he has terrible eye bags

-Oh and yes. Every Loser simps for Bill

-When Bill finishes a story he goes to Ben first for spelling or grammar errors or anything that improves the writing that he didnt think of

-Then he goes to mike to read the story and give feedback

-And lastly he’ll go to the other losers to see if the story is actually interesting (because as much as he loves Ben and Mike, they are book nerds and he wants the opinions of people who don't read everyday)

Richie-

-Depressed. Hides behind jokes.

-Often doesn't think about what he says, which is why he made the mistake of making a joke about Eddie's mom. He only did it once and still regrets it.

-Like for real sometimes he’ll close his eyes and just see Eddie’s face after he made the joke and,, yeah

-His parents are also neglectful. (yes yes I know I'm sorry but I'm projecting here) His dad never wanted kids and his mom wanted a girl. Neither got what they wanted

-He learned to pick the machines at the arcade so he always has change on him.

-Tries to get Stan to wear more than simple button ups. He got Stan in one of his shirts ONE time. Stan still hates him for it

-Steals pieces of everyone's food. The losers kind of just let him because one, he won't stop even if they tell him to and two, they know that the boy needs to eat

-He and Bev sneak out often at night. Sometimes they'll do something crazy and illegal and sometimes they’ll just lay on the grass and talk

-Sometimes he and Bev will look for bones in the woods. They have two bird skeletons, one single bird skull, and half a squirrel skeleton so far

-I'd say in modern day he definitely does theatre. He acts

-The rest of the losers do crew

-Until richie can get eddie to try out for a role (that he gets and totally nails)

-I could write a whole separate thing for them doing theatre honestly... Anyways

-Richie is always trying to do impressions of the losers. Eventually he gets it and the Losers have to refrain from murdering him

-Ok this boy is kinda suicidal

-He had self harmed once but Eddie and Stan put a stop to that real quick

-He has abandonment issues and sometimes he can't convince himself that the losers are NOT gonna leave him

-Sometimes when he is alone he dessociates

-I love the hc that when the losers outgrow the clubhouse they move into the attic of Mike’s barn, so a lot of the times the losers are on the farm

-Richie loves the pigs and cows

-One morning Mike went out after a sleepover and found Richie talking and telling jokes to the cows. He didn't say anything.

-Believe it or not, Richie can't be and isn't high energy all the time. Sometimes when he just needs to chill or everything is too much he’ll walk in the woods or, more often than not, go bird watching with Stan

-Although those bird watching sessions never last more than an hour unless Richie falls asleep.

-Sometimes Richie doesn't realize when he is being an asshole, but a lot of the time he does it on purpose because he thinks it's funny.

-Sometimes it is, but Richie doesn't always know how to read the mood

-He hates when someone calls him by his full name. Even if they sound playful

-Oh you know my boy feeds the rats, mice and racoons. He feels connected to them

-Should probably cut his hair. Eddie keeps telling him to cut his damn hair

-Gets ben and Bev into graphic novels

-Eddie and Stan read them too, but only with Richie

-Oh please let this loser play ukulele

-Let him write songs for the other Losers that they never get to hear

-Except maybe when he writes songs with bev, who plays keyboard, late at night

-They're not very good but don't tell them that

-I know a lot of people love punk Richie and I do too but,,, I also love pastel and/or soft Rich

-Maybe he alternates, or he's like me and can't settle on just one

Stan-

Oh boy

Ok if you know me at all you know I project heavily onto this boy, so a lot of these are based around my life :,)

-Ok first of all anxiety. He’s full of it

-And he also has depression and is suicidal even as a kid

-And has OCD

-His dad wants him to be this perfect little jewish boy, no flaws.

-His mom doesn't fight his dad but she isn't like him

-He feels like he doesnt fit in anywhere, not even with the losers sometimes.

-Sometimes he’ll go days without eating. The reason for this depends but is usually because of the sense of control it brings

-Let him and Bev have a friendship you COWARDS

-If things go wrong, or everything is too much he has panic attacks which usually leads to him self harming

Ok on to something more light

-The losers (minus Eddie)bring Stan bird feathers they find randomly so he can tell them what kind of bird it came from

-Eddie doesn't like this because, “do you rEALIZE HOW MANY DISEASES-”

-He and Mike and sometimes Bev go on walks through the barrens. Stan to watch birds, Mike to enjoy nature and Bev to explore

-Yes he has assigned types of birds to the different Losers. He doesn't tell them though

-He likes to sit with Ben because he can be quiet for a long time and he just genuinely likes his company

-He and Eddie play baseball. Sometimes Bill joins

-He also helps Mike on the farm and, of course, loves the chickens

-Its really cute because the chickens get excited when they see him and Bill is lowkey jealous

-His favorite song is The king of rock ‘N’ roll and you can pry that from my cold dead hands

-Richie is so pleasantly surprised when he finds out

-One year for his birthday Richie gives Stan a button up shirt with a pattern of birds on it and he both loves and hates it.

-Will stay locked up in the house for far too long. The Losers make sure to visit if they haven't seen him.

-Although sometimes he shuts them and everyone else out. He won't answer the door. He keeps his blinds shut. Sometimes it's because he just needs that time or sometimes it's because of his depression. Either way the Losers worry.

-Ok but you know this boy has a pet bird. Maybe not when he lives with his parents but most certainly sometime in his life. I like to think he has a small bird, not one of those big boys like a macaw, but maybe a lovebird.

-Does Not like a lot of noise. He has sensory overloads

-Stims but is embarrassed by it

-Has that head bob stim

-Can't stand when his different food touches on his plate

-Richie bought him one of those plates that have dividers as a joke but stan actually uses it all the time

-Every once and a while he loves to just listen to one of the Losers ramble about things they love.

-He most definitely helps any bird he sees that is in even the tiniest bit of trouble

-He, Richie and eventually Eddie paint their nails together. I mean the whole group will at sleepovers and stuff but those three do it most often

-He plays piano. Not by choice but he does kinda enjoy it

-He sits as still as he can in the park where he bird watches, and ends up earning the trust of a few of the birds. They eat from his hand

-Photographs birds!! Has a polaroid (sometimes he photographs the losers too)

-Scrapbooks ! often ends up doing it with another loser

-Makes a scrapbook of the losers, each of them added their own things and comments in different color pens

-Collects stamps with birds and nature on them

-When the Losers go to the quarry Richie always throws his clothes off and onto the ground randomly and Stan always picks them up after him and folds them neatly. He has given up on yelling at Richie for this. Instead he just sighs and does his thing.

-The other losers respect his wish not to just throw their clothes everywhere

-Organizes the others’ stuff when he comes over

-Has had a couple suicide attempts, The losers take turns visiting him in the hospital, He hates them seeing him like that (do i want to write a comfort fic about this?,,perhaps)

-Has Misphobis (when certain sounds trigger someone in ways other may not understand, like chewing)

-Starts a tradition where the losers will write letters to each other (even though they all live close together)

Eddie-

-Does Not actually have asthma, just really bad anxiety, panic attacks and ADHD

-Was the one who helped Bill fix and paint silver when he first got it. They were both around ten

-The first time bill rides down the street without silver breaking or anything going wrong Eddie cries

-Both because he's so happy it finally worked and because “oh god Bill is gonna kill himself on that thing and i helped him fix it oh god-”

-But that aside Eddie likes fixing the other losers bikes too. They come to him first when something is wrong.

-Eddie really loves to go on carnival rides, it's getting him on the ride thats the hard part

-One time the losers went on a trip and Richie would not stop talking about this rollercoaster. He was so excited

-Then they got there and everyone got on, but Eddie was stopped. Turns out he was too short. So Richie stays with him while the others go. They get food <3

-Eddie would honestly do anything for any of the losers let's be honest

-He steals their clothes. All.The. Time.

-Richie sees Eddie taking Stan’s clothes one day and asks if he could do the same to which Stan says,“fuck no”

-He's always leaning on one of the losers or touching them in some way. Like they be chilling at the quarry after a swim and he full on curls up in Mikes lap

-,,praise kink. Just saying

-When he was younger he wasn't allowed in Stan’s house (and Stan wasnt allowed in his) because Stan is jewish

-Leans on Bev and watches as she sews

Bev-

-Hates when anyone touches her outside of the losers

-Even sometimes the losers touching her is too much, they always ask before they do

-No one is allowed to touch her hair

-She keeps it short and panics when it grows long again, only after she gets over her trauma does she let it grow out

-Don't call her Bevvie for the love of god

-Has a hard time actually being in love. Crushes are a bit different

Smells like strawberries and smoke

-Steals all the losers clothes all the time (wears them better too)

-After meeting Mike she becomes vegetarian :)

and there you have it- I didnt edit this, so some of these could be completely stupid I have no idea. I just said I long while ago I’d post them and why not? otherwise theyre just sitting in my google drive abandoned

Echo enjoys teasing here or there on his end, but you can normally work your way around it. One simple please and he's normally doing what you want. You have him wrapped around your finger for the most part.

He normally despises when you tease him. Mostly because he just hates begging for anything.

V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)

Echo is a talker and a groaner. He loves muttering sweet nothings in your ear, and will also praise you to the moon. Especially if you praise in return. He grunts and groans to the point the rest of tbb tease him about it til he's flushed red and trying to.make up excuses.

W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)

He would like to try sharing you. He knows his brothers like you and has thought about sharing you with one or two of them at a time. He would take charge through it, since you are technically with him and not them, but he just thinks it would be exciting and fun. He doesn't know how to ask and is too anxious you would hate the idea to ask, though.

X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)

Echo lost a lot of his muscles while in stasis. He is slowly gaining that and his color back though. Along with getting upgrades for his prosthetics. Like an actual hand that Tech built for him. As for his dick, it's average clone size. Longer and thicker than the average person's.

Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)

His isn't really too high. Even once he gets used to the fact that you love him and his body, he doesn't really have that high of a sex drive. He controls himself pretty good and doesn't really even need to jack off much unless he's really stressed. That doesn’t mean he won't initiate sex with you the moment he sees you after a long mission though.

Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)

He for the most part tries to stay up, playing with your hair until your asleep above/below/beside him. Wherever the two of you decide to cuddle against one another. It's sort of his way of making sure it's all real though. Some nights he is the first to pass out though.

La Squadra x Reader, Platonic/Romantic, SFW

Formaggio- At least at first, Formaggio misunderstands you. With the sweet and girly way you act around him, Formaggio can’t help but treat you like any other pretty girl (though crucially one he likes) he might hang out with. The first time he sees you kill his reaction is shock. He isn’t sure what he expected to happen but it wasn’t that. After he’s calmed down and the danger is clear, Formaggio can’t do anything but laugh. He absolutely adores this feisty new side to you, but it’s just so unexpected he can’t help himself. If you end up as his girlfriend he loves to parade you around to both friends and enemies alike. Having such a sweet doll who gets so dangerous for him fills him with pride.

Illuso- Early on, your perceived weakness makes you a target for Illuso’s bullying. It’s nothing too severe as Illuso is never really mean to his teammates on purpose, but it’s clear he doesn’t take you very seriously as an assassin. When he learns the truth, his pride causes him to (badly) try and shake it off like he never doubted you in the first place, but it’s clear he’s astounded by the way you leaped in to save him. After that, Illuso seems distant for a while, but the truth is he’s deep in thought. Illuso isn’t the type to confess his attractions easily, but that doesn’t mean there’s no hope for you to be together. As your boyfriend, Illuso loves to give you opportunities to show off your more dangerous side, whether that be from planned missions or just taking you into a shady bar to see what trouble comes your way. You’re very precious to him, and even if he sometimes forgets to show it, he makes up for it the rest of the time.

Pesci- It’s a perfect match! What more could Pesci ask for than someone to complement his docile nature on a normal day, whilst also standing up for him during a dangerous one. In a sense, Pesci is a lot like you, but it takes the peril of someone close to him to bring out his more assertive side whereas your switch flicks much easier. It’s doubtless that Pesci will be a good friend to you, and any romantic prospects have a high chance of succeeding as well. The love between you will make for a sweet and gentle romance, while also turning you into even more of a formidable force if your timid boyfriend is ever threatened. That said however, perhaps Pesci could end up learning from you about when it’s a good idea to stand up for himself. You’ll certainly have Prosciutto’s thanks if you can manage it.

Prosciutto- You have a personality he can certainly appreciate- graceful and chic by default but capable of knuckling down to business when a mission requires it. His only qualm is that he’d rather you didn’t get so overtly defensive of him. He can handle himself, and the way you act so viscerally provoked when he’s threatened could make an enemy think otherwise. Prosciutto would much rather you focused on yourself and your own problems mid-gunfight. Even still, you’re among the most bearable of his teammates to work with, by a long shot. Prospects for a romance are very good, as you have a personality that attracts him while also being someone he can rely on in regards to his work.

Melone- You certainly make a change from the rest of the squad, and Melone likes that. He is instantly drawn to your girly colours and innocent habits. When he finds out how you really are when push comes to shove, he is even more intrigued. That sort of strength would be perfect for raising a junior… or even, perhaps, a real child. La Squadra might have to reign him in a bit on occasions, but rest assured Melone would never actually do you any harm. A romantic relationship would most likely arise out of Melone’s frequent attempts to charm and entertain you. The gentle domesticity of the ensuing relationship would blow the rest of the team away, none of them having ever pictured Melone as being capable of such a thing.

Ghiaccio- He likes you a lot as you’re way nicer to him than some of his other teammates, while also holding a sense of professionalism he appreciates on the field. It’s particularly assuring to him as he can trust you not to get yourself hurt around his stand, which makes you one of the better people for him to work with, One thing he wants to learn from you is how you switch so controllably between your usual more amicable demeanour and your dangerous one. He genuinely wants to learn to control his temper, and thinks emulating you could help with that. In terms of romance, Ghiaccio is most likely to confess feelings for you in the heat of the moment mid-mission, while you’re in one of your deadlier moods. Looking into your face and saying those things while you’re acting all sweet for him would just destroy the poor man’s nerves.

Risotto Nero- It’s quite a well-hidden secret, but Risotto adores the sweeter things in life. He likes the idea of having somebody to look after and to greet him with smiles and laughter. The greatest barrier to this dream has always been the dread of endangering the person he loves because of the life he lives. To know that you can handle yourself reassures him greatly, and the second he realises the duality of your personality, he gets an instant crush. Risotto enjoys going on missions with you just to be quietly amazed by your strength and confidence. The way you jump to defend him makes his heart flutter every time. If you do choose to take him as your lover, you might find yourself becoming almost like La Squadra’s mum, a warm, feminine figure at the side of your formidable capo.

Sorbet and Gelato- With the domesticated, near paternal demeanour with which they treat those close to them against the absolute unfettered chaos that breaks loose once they’re alone with a victim, they can understand you perfectly fine. When they first met you, they were nonetheless friendly to you but feared you might break under the pressure of this occupation. You can imagine their joy when they learned how wrong they were. All in all, Sorbet appreciate someone who can stomach them in their sadistic moods, while still being a joy to be around the rest of the time. In the event you find yourself as their third, you’ll be a power thrupple feared by all of Passione. And the best part is that once you’ve finished carving up bodies, you can curl up on Gelato’s lap while Sorbet gets a bath ready.

in the aftermath of the Winter Cup, your relationship with Akashi has certainly gotten much better, and dare you say, more intimate and romantic; though you were still healing a bit from the emotional scars from Teiko, they seemed to be going away faster than you realized, especially when everyone gathers for Kuroko’s birthday party

you were with Seirin, helping with the decorations and setting up the plates before Kuroko comes in the evening, but what no one expected was for him to bring in the GoMs

YOU’RE SHOOK AND YOU’RE BASHFUL SEEING AKASHI IN HIS WINTER ATTIRE, you’re getting MAD butterflies, but no one seems to notice because everyone’s attention is on the GoMs and Kuroko

of course Akashi was scanning the room for you first, and you immediately look away from his affectionate stare because you were still not used to the old Akashi, let alone his sweeter side for only you

Izuki notices how quiet you got and nudged your ribs with his elbow before telling a stupid pun… the thing is, you were one of the few people who genuinely found his jokes funny LOL

Akashi widens his eyes, staring at you laughing so unabashedly, and he feels really, really bad that he never got that level of a reaction from you whenever you were with him even despite knowing you for longer

now as the party goes on, Akashi is seeing your dynamics with Seirin for the first time and he’s just really grateful that you found an amazing support group during your low times; he’s not particularly someone to get jealous, but he’s getting a BAD case of FOMO because he’s thinking of all the “what-if’s” and all the times he could’ve made you happy and stress-free

“Akashi-kun?”

“Ah… yes?” Akashi snaps out of his daze to see a mild smirk coming from Kuroko on his right side, and Kuroko was about to ask a question about who he was looking at before a shout of “Watch out!” and a ceramic plate came FLYING across the table to hit the Rakuzan captain square on his face

CUE SCREAMS OF PANIC AS MOMOI PUNCHES AOMINE ON THE HEAD AND RIKO JUMPS TO STRANGLE KAGAMI, AND YOU LITERALLY ZOOMED TO HIS SIDE TO CHECK ON ANY INJURIES

see, he could’ve easily dodged it, and he supposed that it’s his fault for not paying attention and dodging on time

thankfully, the plate didn’t break because Kuroko caught the plate before it reached the floor and placed it back on the table

Akashi still has a bruise or two on his face though… and ngl, everyone gulped when they saw him checking out the injuries with a handheld mirror, ready to get their ankles broken

you were so worried over his safety, he finds it really endearing… but he wants to elicit an expression other than looks of worry or tears or anger (flashback to when you cussed him out)

“Wait, but (y/n)...” Koganei said. “Since when were you so close to Akashi that you didn’t hesitate to touch his face?”

a few moments of silence for everyone to register his words

“EHHHH?????!!!!”

everyone is throwing QUESTION after QUESTION at the two of you, and Akashi just has a neutral face with his mouth parted while you were so embarrassed LMAO

Kise being a real best friend, tells them:

“Alright, alright, everyone! Let’s not forget about the birthday boy! Kurokocchi should be the center of our attention today!”

“Kise, that’s…”

“Anywho! Let’s light up the cake and find those party poppers…”

after the party though, when you all return to school, Seirin was READY to jump on you for interrogation, and you do reluctantly tell them that you and Akashi are a tentative couple

Riko: “SERIOUSLY? I mean… that’s kinda cute though…”

Hyuuga: “I mean… yeah, as long as you’re happy, it’s none of my business.”

Teppei: “I hope he treats you well, (y/n)-san.” and of course he gives you his signature head pats

Furihata, Tsuchida, Kawahara: “??????????????????? But why?”

Koganei: “Huh, guess that explains a lot.”

Kagami: “???????????? pt. 2 LMAO” and also “What do you even see in him?” in genuine curiosity

Izuki: “ I guess you two dove into this relationship without hesitation, eh? Get it, get it? Because doves are a symbol of lo—”

“Izuki, shut the fuck up.”

“It means that you love (Ai)kashi—” [Ai means love]

“IZUKI.”

Kuroko simply pretends that this is the first time he’s heard of you dating Akashi, and he gives you his heartfelt congratulations, and as long as Kuroko approves of it, you feel like you’re on the right track (he’s such a good judge of character!)

you and Akashi actually live VERY far apart, considering that your schools are equally just as far in distance, but that being said, for our rich boy Akashi, distance isn’t much of a problem when he can easily find ways to come visit any time

he can also pay for your transportation to visit Rakuzan if you ever felt like visiting him too (although, you insist to pay for your own things, but he’s not having it because he says it’s a treat for him to see you too)

whenever Akashi stops by the Seirin campus to visit, he’s just kind of awkward standing there like the prince that he is, waiting for the perfect opportunity to walk in, but every time, he’d ALWAYS notice how you’re so happy being with everyone here, especially with Izuki, and his guilt just comes back full force again

he wonders if this was right of him to date you when there’s so much people who can easily do a better job in getting you to smile and be completely yourself, especially since he’s been the source of your anguish for all these months (maybe even a year or two if he was counting the duration of your entire crush on him that you assumed to be unrequited)

“Seijurō!” your voice rang out, beckoning him to walk towards you and the group

all of the Seirin teammates are so wary of him, and are all hyper aware of his movements LOL, and Kuroko is just like “hi, you’re back” very casually

Kagami uses this as a chance to challenge a one-on-one on Akashi

Kagami gets destroyed in a few minutes flat

the whole time you’re just watching Akashi with heart eyes, unbeknownst to him while he was focused on Kagami

after the interrogation and Akashi passing the “first stage” of acceptance, you and him find time to have a cute date at a local shopping district to walk around and sightsee

Akashi finds it fun, he really did, but there’s a part of him that thinks you’d have more fun with people who know you better… a.k.a. Izuki, or legit any other Seirin member

he’s visibly distracted by his own thoughts, and you wave a hand to his face, asking if this was too boring for him

“No, no, of course I’m enjoying this with you,” he muses, putting a gentle kiss to your temple. “Shall we get moving?”

“Something’s bothering you isn’t it.”

“No,” he chuckles, giving a gentle smile, but you only frown at him… once again he sees that you weren’t smiling at him

“I’m serious Sei, I want to get to know the real you,” you softly chastise, pinching his cheek. “So I also want you to speak your mind around me.”

“Oh ho… I see that your boldness is still very present here,” he says in referring to your touch.

“Oh my god, can you drop it already? That’s so embarrassing—I cussed you out one time… hey don’t change the subject!”

“Hmm…” he hums for a bit before he comes clean. “I’m afraid that I might not be the right person to be worthy by your side after hurting you for so long.”

“... What makes you think that?” He hesitates, for the first time, not being so sure of himself and his emotions; he immediately thinks of Izuki and your good chemistry with him but dismisses the thought

“... I just do not think I’m capable enough to make you happy.”

“But you are. I’m very giddy to be with you right now.”

“Even happier than when you are with… your teammates?”

“Huh?”

“I apologize,” he hurriedly says. “They are your friends. I was out of line to question them.”

“No, no, it’s okay. Talk it out to me.” He’s uncharacteristically quiet as you both continue to walk and browse through the shops, and you carefully watch Akashi while he’s examining a few souvenirs on the display, patient for him to continue talking

“... the point guard.”

“I’m sorry?”

“Seirin’s point guard.”

“Izuki-kun? What about him?”

“While I’m aware that you only spend your time with him as a good friend… I want to spend just as much of a koala-ty time with you whenever we have the chance.”

he... says this with the straightest face, and you’re utterly confused before you saw some animal plushies on the store window, and the the koala plush, and then the cogs started turning in your head

“... Did you just say a pun?”

“Was it not sufficient?”

a few moments of silence pass and Akashi thinks he did something wrong because he wanted to make you smile (HELP poor captain), before you break into hysterics

between your fits of broken laughs and wheezes, you managed to ask if he was jealous of Izuki, to which he wholeheartedly kept denying until you wouldn’t stop being persistent

you reassure him over and over that he doesn’t need to act like Izuki to make you happy, but it was a pleasant surprise to see Akashi crack a “joke” nonetheless

he’s a bit new to the concept of dating and is still quite unsure of how to navigate this PLEASE GIVE HIM TIME

the date that day was a success (some of the Seirin teammates TOTALLY weren’t spying on you mid-date or anything…)

while Seirin is okay with you dating, visiting Rakuzan ALONE with the scary-ass captain and his “CROONIES” (hint: the rest of the team LMAOO) IS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT STORY

RIKO AND HYUUGA are just like:

“What’s wrong with him coming here to visit you? Why do you gotta do the effort to visit him?”

“Uh… because I want to…”

“Yes, but who would you call to help over if something wrong happens? You’d be too far!”

“Uh, Akashi can help me if something happens.”

“With what, his scissors?” Kagami gives a deadpan look, and everyone turns to look at him in utter confusion LMAOOO like what does this redhead mean by SCISSORS???

Kuroko immediately jabs Kagami’s sides to silence him and smoothly changes the conversation before anyone asks any more questions about the “scissors” and potentially make them more reluctant to let you go

oh Kuroko, being the mediator and negotiator as always, trying to set some safety protocols for you to follow before everyone finally agrees to let you go see the infamous team alone

you know, Teppei is honestly just like, “Just go! Don’t worry about our (y/n) too much!”

Furihata is so concerned for your safety for valid reasons, but you reassure him that you won’t “die from the trip,” and no, this wouldn’t “be the last time” they’d see you before you leave

so when you stopped by Rakuzan’s gym after school after looking at the online maps, Hayama lets out a screech of terror before he starts pointing at you and calling you the “crazy ass chick” who tried to have a first-row seat ticket to death LOL

Hayama’s commotion brought everyone else’s attention to you, and Akashi was very surprised to see you all the way here

but he’s just standing at the back to watch how his teammates are reacting to you

Reo is the guy who would welcome you very warmly and would introduce you to the other team members who aren’t the starters, and he would actually ask if you were okay from last time

Nebuya is very laid back and throws a few muscle jokes much to Reo’s dismay, and he makes a comment about not you possibly not eating enough because at the time, he saw you almost tripping up your feet after you cussed out Akashi… he offers you his extra bowls if you ever feel hungry VERY SWEET GUY

Mayuzumi thinks you have balls, like who the fuck would come out alive after cussing out his captain but then COME BACK to said school of the captain… like why would you willingly walk back into the lion’s den??? so he thinks you’re dumb, but he has a shred of respect for you

Akashi is so amused at the spectacle and finally walks over to you after you noticed him

and he gives you an embrace and a chaste forehead kiss, and the entire gym goes silent

“Sei! I wanted to drop by as a surprise! Did you expect me?”

“Hm, I may have expected you to come sooner or later, but definitely not this quickly. Were transportation fees too much of a hassle?”

“Nope! I got everything covered! Do you want me to give you any chiropractic massages if you and your teammates need it?”

“You don’t need to do that, (y/n). You came here as a guest, not as a manager.”

“But…”

“Shhh, as soon as practice is done, I’ll take you anywhere you want in Kyotō. How does that sound?”

“Er… captain?” Reo holds up a hesitant finger to interrupt the two of you, while everyone else looks horrified at the sight of their captain looking serene

“Get a room, will you?” Mayuzumi only tuts in irritation while turning away to grab a nearby water bottle to down in one go

Nebuya merely stares in astonishment at the two of you, and his mind is thinking how the hell did you reel in this guy?

nah man, Hayama is GONE at this point: his brain has stopped functioning a while ago, and he’s standing there as stiff as a statue, scratching his head like a lost monkey // like he’s thinking how the fuck did this shit add up?? in his mind, he’s taking 2 plus 2 but it somehow ends up 94… that’s how he’s processing what he’s witnessing

the rest of the benchers and lower-string players are confused? who ARE you anyways?? Akashi?? dating??? that’s Rakuzan gossip of the century

TLDR; your first trip to Rakuzan may be awkward because the two of you stick out like a sore thumb, but eventually after multiple trips, the team slowly begins to consider you as one of their own

as per Akashi’s “suggestion” (hint: not a suggestion, but a strong recommendation), you were to be retreated with respect and kindness

why? Because Akashi never wants a repeat of the situation at Teiko ever again :(

as long as he is captain, and as long as he has the power and authority, he will do everything he can to make you happy and comfortable

don’t worry though, the Rakuzan starters are more than willing to punt any kid who talks shit about you

surprisingly, once Hayama comes around and accepts the fact that you were dating the captain, he’d be the most adamant and vocal protector, and he’s the one who shares the “inside tips and tricks” about the captain EEEE it’s so wholesome !!

the Rakuzan team is your certified bodyguard group, no debate

Reo might be the nosy mom who asks about who confessed first and the like…

Hey y’all, I will say please only request one person at a time because I’m doing these in response to asks and I’m indecisive!!

Also, sorry about the delay on this! These are pretty time consuming. If anyone wants to send easier or shorter asks I’d love to do those!!

Affection: Their love language & how affectionate they are.

Annoying little kisses. Tries to piss you off sometimes but it’s out of love.

Behavior: How their behavior is when it’s just the two of you vs with their other members around.

I feel like he’s very authentic. Doesn’t act super different around others. Probably a lot sweeter around you. Annoys you but always regrets it.

Cuddles: HC about cuddling with them.

Probably plays with your hair. Says he doesn’t like when you play with his but he actually loves it.

Dates: First date & their favorite thing to do on dates as well.

Probably takes you out & you get all dressed up, except instead of him taking you to a nice restaurant he’d take you to a fast food place or maybe even a bodega. Finds a way to make it romantic though. It turns into his favorite date activity.

Effort: The ways they put effort into their relationships. How they to the extra mile.

Buys you stuff!!! We already know he’s a big spender and spending his money on you would be his favorite. Also of course affection.

I mean he’s made that comment about “anything can happen” before, however I don’t think he thinks about the future that much. Probably only does it when he has a deep conversation with someone. Also when he’s drunk. Probably not direct about it with you.

Designer clothes, jewelry, shoes you want, plushies and blankets, probably once buys you a pillow cover with his face on it.

Habits: Any habits, good or bad, that they may have.

He’s always annoying the other members, as we know. However, he knows when to stop and be serious. Sometimes it gets out of hand.

Insecurity: Their main insecurity and how to comfort them about it.

Probably insecure about his talent. Rapping, singing, dancing, etc. He first came to SM barely knowing how to do any of it and has come such a long way since then. Still not sure if all the effort he’s put in has made him talented though.

Junior: What they were probably like as a kid.

Troublemaker. Not as much of one as he could have been, but probably the clumsy kid who became a troublemaker. Was probably good in school though.

Kisses: Your first kiss story and their favorite type of kiss

Honestly I feel like Yangyang would kiss someone even before the first date. Maybe you’re hanging out and there’s an awkward moment of silence before he just slowly leans in and kisses you softly. A very soft first kiss. He’s too shy to touch you. His favorite types of kisses hmmm. Probably loves when you kiss his neck and loves kissing your hand.

Liquor: How well they handle it/how much they can handle.

Probably one of the members in wayv that drinks the most, but I don’t see him drinking much. He enjoys his life the way it is and doesn’t feel the need to alter it with alcohol. Drinks casually. Handles it pretty well. Probably starts saying random stuff in German when he’s drunk.

Mature: How mature or immature they are and the ways they show it.

Quite immature, but that’s nothing new. Annoys everyone, but as I said before he usually knows when to stop.

No: A dealbreaker for them. Something they couldn’t deal with in a relationship.

If you’re not patient in general or patient with him, he’d feel like he’s wasting your time. Would also feel bad about being his true self around you.

Online: How public your relationship would be. Whether or not they’d post about you online.

Wouldn’t be able to resist posting about you. Posts shots of you sleeping or you guys holding hands.

Protective: How protective and jealous they get.

Gets more jealous than protective. I feel like he especially feels jealous if you’re talking to Lucas. I get the vibe that as close as they are, he’s very intimidated by Lucas and would feel like he’s losing you to him.

Wedding: whether or not they want to get married, if/how they would want to do it, etc.

Probably in the distant future. As I said before, he doesn’t think too hard about the future. Wants to do it but doesn’t care how it happens.

Ok ok I see you 👀👀 This was a bit of a challenge since it’s hard to think of Lucci in a romantic setting...but I tried my best to stay true to his character while incorporating some romantic elements? I hope I managed to pull it off! Please enjoy and I hope you’re taking good care of yourself, honey. 💕

Romantic HCs: Rob Lucci Edition

So forming a romantic relationship with Lucci is quite the task. You need to build a stable friendship first and prove yourself worthy of his trust. One of his primary requirements in any of his relationships is trustworthiness. In his line of work and more than likely due to his past, truly trustworthy people are hard to come by. This man’s got major trust issues, and you just gotta work through that.

Once you prove yourself, check off all his boxes, and Hattori approves of you (he’s really picky when choosing significant others ok) he’ll reward you with his loyalty and love. But don’t expect a formal confession. After all the time you spend together and the things he does for you, he just kinda expects you (and others) to understand that you’re his.

So obviously, the transition from friendship to romantic relationship isn’t very drastic. But overtime, you’ll start to see sides of Lucci that he didn’t show so easily before. It becomes evident to you that he has learned to let his walls down a little when around you. You get to see his more vulnerable and even sweeter sides because you are his lover after all and he wouldn’t have you around if he didn’t want to be at least a little romantic with you.

He is quite hilariously like a cat. He loves when you give him attention, but only on his own terms. Don’t come at him with affection if he doesn’t want it. Will probably actually hiss at you and walk away lol but when he wants affection, he can actually be pretty sweet! Loves to be pet and receive kisses and cuddles from you, whether in cat form or not.

Cat form Lucci is hella adorable and he’ll transform at random. Though he usually transforms whenever you express a desire to cuddle him in cat form, like when you’ve had a bad day or aren’t feeling well. He actually adores the feeling of curling up to you, allowing you to pet him, and letting you fall asleep into his fur because lets be real, this kitty hasn’t received a whole lot of loving pets in his life. 🥺 Will pur in and out of cat form, and more often than not it’s quite accidental which makes him a bit flustered lol

His most evident displays of affection come from spoiling you. He’s got all the riches and connections to give you the finer things in life. Take you to fancy restaurants, buy you the nicest clothes, gift you with some of your favorite things, etc. He’s not excessive or overly romantic with it, but it is his own personal way of expressing “I love you”. So if your love language has to do with gifts, then he’s your man. Surprisingly, he won’t expect much in return except your gratitude. And maybe some mild affection in the form of a grateful kiss or appreciative hug.

Other than this, he enjoys quality time with you. You two don’t really have to do much together for him to be content. Just having your presence around when he desires it is enough to keep him satisfied. Though, as mentioned, he does enjoy taking you out. He likes visiting exhibits and museums with you or going for a stroll. But he also enjoys quality time at home, enjoying a glass of wine or cooking together.

PDA isn’t really his forte, unless he’s got to make sure others stay away from you. The most you’ll get from him in public is his arm wrapped around your waist and maybe some sneaky kisses or hand holding if he’s feeling up to it. But try not to be affectionate with him in front of others, especially coworkers...he’s got a reputation to maintain. Is it also because you being cute with him makes him a bit flustered? Maybe...but he’ll never admit it, even if his deep blush tends to give himself away.

Very very protective over you, no matter how strong and capable you might be. Don’t worry about him getting jealous though, he doesn’t waste his energy on such a petty emotion. If someone tries to take you away from him, he’s got uhhh ways to take out the trash. 👀

Overall has lots of potential to be a good significant other? He just needs someone who can put up with his stubbornness and earn his trust. Is actually very loyal, and though he might not verbally express his love for you, he’s got his own special ways of showing it. Adores spoiling you and being spoiled with affection from you when he’s in the mood for it!

Happy Halloween, You’re The Only Sugar I Need

[i didn’t have a lot of time to come up with halloween ideas, so have these cute lil hc’s about what it would be like to trick or treat with the bnha babies!💓]

did someone say couple costumes?

plans his costume out in july, and has it perfect by august

he knows all the best routes and houses like the back of his hand - nothing but full size candy bars for his baby (you💓) duh!

no haunted houses for him, he just wants to hold your hand as you walk through the neighborhood

he’s the most fair when it comes to candy negotiations, offering up two skittles bags for one set of jelly chew jolly ranchers and making sure the butterfingers were evenly divided

since he’s an expert on trick or treating (your words not his, he blushes for a full thirty minutes after you tell him) you’re both home fairly early, only out a little under an hour

which means: halloween jammies, takeout, and all your halloween candy piled up on the table while you watch spooky godmother together <3

and perhaps there’s a heated makeout session that ends with your hands down the front of his onesie ;)

Katsuki Bakugo

he always wants to go as something horrifically extra - he pretends it’s all your idea, but you know he’s been pinterest scrolling it for a solid month

his goal is quantity over quality here; the more candy he has the better, so you’re both hitting every neighborhood till the streetlights flicker on

he also wants to do every “haunted house” he spots along the way, dragging you in to suffer with him

he likes the spook

you’re out the latest, but it’s still fun - mainly because you’d convinced him to piggy back carry you home after

he’s fair but strict in his candy negotiations - he won’t let you cheat him out of a full sized kitkat bar just because you’re adorable his s/o. he requires at least three kisses and two mini crunch bars in exchange

you watch endless slasher films and bad horror classics, and cuddle under the biggest fluffiest blanket you own

somewhere during the “scary movie” series he’s got you pinned, kissing a hot trail up your neck and there goes the movie session ;)

Hanta Sero

hanta 1000% wants to do meme couple costumes, and you’re whipped for his smile, so-

plans his costume out a while back, but procrastinates getting it together until two days before (and yet, it still looks amazing?)

doesn’t really have a route or plan in mind, he just wants to wander around holding hands and kissing every time you see a pumpkin (like punch buggy but sweeter <3)

he’s honestly probably the most confusing with his candy negotiations - “how does a mini snickers and a bag of pretzels equal a york patty, hanta?”

the boy has weird candy tastes but you love him anyways

you’re out a decent amount of time, a little over an hour & change

he wants to watch every cult classic horror film ever, so prepare not to sleep

halfway through he’s too busy smiling with his tongue in your mouth though, so its a win in your book ;)

Hitoshi Shinso

hitoshi always wants to go as some super obscure film or literary pair

he’s not too early in his planning, or too late. he finishes his costume with time to spare but he doesn’t rush, either

he’s not keen on being out too late but he indulges you for a bit, sneaking kisses here and there

he’s not big on candy either, so he ends up giving you most of his basket anyway - although there’s certain things he won’t part with.

“you’re serious? i cant even have one?”

“no. all the reese’s cups are mine, & that’s final.”

you’ll get smooches because he feels bad

you’ll spend the rest of the evening with your head on his chest, listening to him read you Poe snuggled under a blanket with tea.

and halfway through lady ligeria his hands will creep up the back of your sweater, and suddenly you’re doing much more kissing than reading ;)

Yaoyorozu Momo

momo definitely wants to do something elegant and fancy with you for costumes

she gets everything tailored and ready weeks in advance, duh

momo’s house is the one giving out full sized candy bars, so is trick or treating even necessary? yes it is

you spend about an hour giggling and sharing a candy basket, everyone awwing over the pair of you

there’s no candy negotiations because you share <3

you play board games with the charlie brown halloween special in the background

she wins every time that girl’s a menace

“since i’ve won twenty four of our twenty six games, i’ll be claiming my prize now.”

her prize is kissing you senseless on the floor, smiling into each other’s mouths with wandering hands ;)

dorky costumes? dorky costumes. think dorothy and the tin man, but cute

she plans both your costumes in advance cause she’s just that amazing

you’re out almost as late as possible only because tsu gets excited everytime she sees a decorated house and you’re soft for her

candy negotiations with her are tough; she plays hard to please and you both like too many of the same candies

you end up sharing anyways

halloween movies with tsu are a big mess of funny to scary to animated to wholesome - she loves all of them and you love her, so you’re watching everything

you’re cuddled up in a blanket fort, snuggled into a heap of blankets and it’s so comfortable that you almost fall asleep halfway through poltergeist

until tsuyu starts kissing her way up the sensitive skin of your back, and suddenly kissing is the only thing on your mind ;)

Ojiro Mashirao

he always wants to do a cutesy/romantic couples costume, he’s your prince charming without fail

the two of you work on your costumes together well before halloween - he calls it couple bonding like the cutie he is

you’re not out too late, mostly because you have too many activities planned for when you’re back home

there is no candy negotiation with ojiro; he gives you your favorites and steals your pretzels and m&m’s without a word

you carve pumpkins even though you already have six, make candy apples, and finally snuggle together on the couch to watch some cheesy halloween hallmark specials

he makes you both hot chocolate with plenty of mini marshmallows <3

by the end of the second sappy film you’re licking the chocolate out of his mouth, and he’s only complaining a little

“but (y/n), she’s about to leave it all behind for the lovestruck farmer!”

Eijiro Kirishima

kiri loves halloween, so he’ll gladly be the counterpart to any costume you choose

he’s definitely a procrastinator though, only finishing it the day of

he’s so excited and hyper that you spend nearly two hours trick or treating, being dragged by holding hands with kiri as he marvels at the tiniest of things

he’s the worst at candy negotiations - he’s so soft for you that he’d give you anything you asked, and he’s a sucker for all types of candy so he’s way too easy to please

“sure baby, you can have my crunch bar and my twix for the nerds.”

“eiji those are both full size candy bars-“

“so?”

he wants to watch the scariest of movies because he’s manly, of course, and he promises to protect you from anything too frightening

he ends up curled into your arms, peering at the screen through his fingers and you’re trying really hard not to laugh

distractions come in the form of kisses, though, and soon he’s too busy nipping at the son of your neck to pay attention to the terrifying film ;)

Tamaki Amajiki

tamaki definitely wants to do cheesy pop culture costumes with you - he spends most of his time reading or watching it

his nerves about the whole thing make him finish his costume way too early, but it’s cute

once he’s in costume though, he gains a sort of confidence - he’s somebody who’s not him for a little while, and he boldly holds your hands and kisses your cheek as you wander

tamaki loves candy, so negotiations are difficult - but he loves you a lot more, so he parts with some of his precious stash

you decide on reading scary stories to each other, sitting with your back against his chest in the big armchair, by the fireplace

it’s warm and cozy and you could almost fall asleep like this, until tamaki’s voice wavers as you shift in his lap

the book is quickly forgotten about as you make out softly, and maybe the costume gets a little shredded. oops ;)

Mirio Togata

mirio will literally dress up as anything as long as you match with him

he insists you plan together, takes all of your thoughts into consideration; this is a team effort!

he doesn’t want to be out too late but he can’t help himself, he wants to show you everything

plus he keeps running into people he knows and he wants to show you off

he splits all his candy evenly with you; you’re his baby, he’d give you his kidney if you asked

he’s one for paranormal movies, he gets so wrapped up in the plotlines it’s almost funny

“okay but if i were a ghost, i’d haunt people in the fun way. like, we’d play games or something.”

“you’d make a very nice ghost, babe.”

he gets so caught up in the movies though that he doesn’t even realize when you pounce, tickling him to draw his attention again

it quickly turns from tickles to kisses and kisses to nibbles and suddenly he’s not thinking about ghosts at all ;)

Nejire Hado

the poor baby’s so excited she can’t even choose a costume, so you end up deciding

she’s very involved in the process though, helping out any way she can

trick or treating with nejire is like going with a hyperactive six year old, but it’s adorable. she drags you around for hours

“look! that pumpkins as big as my head! let’s take a picture!”

she’s a candy addict, good luck trying to negotiate any sort of trade. she steals yours when you aren’t looking

you totally notice but you indulge her

you’re watching a movie, making cookies, and playing a board game all at once when you get home

she’s so excited she can’t even sit still, bouncing from activity to activity until you give up and pull her in for a kiss

you get so distracted you forget all about the cookies ;)

“NO! MY PRECIOUS SUGAR PUMPKIN BABIES!”

Uraraka Ochaco

she’s had your costumes planned since last halloween

another meme costumer, but he also wants to look cool. it’s a tricky balance

he keeps putting off getting his costume together, and then he forgets, and then he’s calling you frantic the night before for assistance

he’s a little more relaxed as you walk through the neighborhood, but that’s only because he’s waiting for everyone to discover the pranks he’d set up beforehand

needless to say, trick or treating ends early before he can be murdered

denki’s a candy whore, but he’s willing to make negotiations with you as long as he gets kisses out of it - which you take advantage of to get all his good stuff

you’re curled up together watching nightmare before christmas, a tradition between you because you’d argued for a week straight about whether it was a halloween or christmas movie

the compromise is that you watch it on both holidays

he gets bored after twenty minutes though, restless like always and before you know it he’s kissing wherever he can reach

the movie’s ignored for the rest of the night as the pair of you kiss and giggle and get a little carried away ;)

Mina Ashido

she’s all over the place with her planning but she definitely wants to do something complicated - she loves going all out!

she needs your help to stay on task but your costumes are finished in a decent enough amount of time

first you’re trick or treating, then you’re pulling pranks with denki, then you’re chasing the neighborhood kids around in a silly game of tag - you’re doing so much that you don’t even realize how late it’s gotten

at home she’s still got all that wild excited energy so you make pumpkin pie together despite the hour, making stupid jokes and flicking flour at one another

“if this sticks in my hair you’re dead, (y/n)!”

“love you too, princess.”

somewhere between baking and eating the pie you start making out against the counter, and there’s definitely flour handprints all over the both of you ;)

Mezo Shoji

shoji likes halloween, but he lets you pick out the costumes - he wants you to have a good time!

he’s very helpful throughout the entire process of getting the costumes ready, and you’re done in no time

he lets you drag him all around, using the majority of his arms to carry extra candy baskets - it’s not cheating the system because everyone thinks it’s part of his costume, and there’s six times as much candy now!

he gives the majority of it to you once you’re home again to see you smile - it has been his plan all along to drown you in excess candy, and you’re not complaining

he gets an equal amount of kisses in return

you spend the evening helping the local kids collect as much candy as they can, and shouji makes it his job to escort all the children that are scared up to every house so they don’t miss out

he gets a whole lot more than kisses for that, but who can blame you? your boyfriend was just too sweet for his own good

Tokoyami Fumikage

whenever halloween comes around, he goes big. all out. ridiculously detailed, amazing costumes

you help as much as you can, but he’s in his element; he handles most of it himself

his excitement isn’t obvious, but you can see it in the way he slightly pulls you along as you wander. it’s downright adorable

dark shadow is also having the time of his life, popping up to make snarky comments at passrersby and steal candy whenever possible

“god, did she pull that costume off of last years clearance rack?”

“dark shadow, enough.”

he’s not wrong though

candy negotiations are done through dark shadow - your boyfriend would’ve given you all the good stuff without questioning it, and his counterpart can’t have that

you end up sitting outside to watch the stars, tokoyami cuddled into your chest and all it takes is a few well placed kisses to his plumage to have dark shadow sweep you up and take you right inside for some evening fun ;)

(not necessarily romantic or even with them interacting, just headcanons about either of them) My day was fine but my evening has been Decidedly Not so far (except for like,, 5 minutes where my brain was like 'you look pretty! Okay, now it's time to feel like crying for no reason and have a song you don't like stuck in your head')

I acknowledge now that this is less hcs more an AU. Because apparently I’ m real bad with hcs. Sorry in advance.

Remy is Bad Boy. Nothing gets to him. He’s got shades inside and a leather jacket in any weather. He’s Aloof.

So, no, he isn’t blushing just because Patton waved at him. No, he’s not stumbling over his words because Patton giggled in a way that was too cute to be human. He is decidedly not completely swept off his feet just by Patton smiling softly, sweetly, happily at him.

Nope. Not at all.

Patton is just a happy-go-lucky boi who wants the world to smile with him!

He likes to bake, and he’ll often carry around whatever pastries he baked the night before to hand out to anyone who’ll take one!

He’s known throughout the school. He’s just so damn fluffy and sweet. He got lost on his way to class one time, stumbled into a back room where some of the school’s toughest kids (bullies) were smoking and doing other generally not school friendly things

He offered them his donuts while he smiled and apologized and asked for direction to room 304

He knew all their names, didn’t look annoyed or frightened, just embarrassed for getting lost

Since then he’s been more or less off-limits to be picked on; messing with him gets you ganged up on by EVERYONE

It’s a very good thing that Patton’s sugary sweet because he honestly has too much power in the school

They first ran into each other (literally) in a hallway during passing

Remy wasn’t paying attention to where he was going until suddenly there’s a warm body slamming into his and multiple things falling

He bends down because his sunglasses got knocked off, reaching around blindly, grabs them just as someone else does (so cliched, I know, shh), looks up with a huff of annoyance because he doesn’t have time for this bs-

Turns out? It isn’t bs

He knows Patton by sight, of course, everyone in the school does, but he’s never seen him properly, it seems

Patton is... Patton’s literally glowing, Remy has to think, how his cheeks are a bright, rosy, beautiful red and his skin is sun-kissed golden like he’s a treasure built by gods and his hair is curly and bouncy and light brown with streaks of light bright bouncing blue

Everything about Patton screams- no, it doesn’t scream, it energetically but lovingly tells you- living, loving, bouncy and free and amazing

Remy is star-struck- after all, the sun (who is currently kneeling, personified, in front of him) is a star

Patton laughs, and somehow his laugh glows to, is warm like fresh-baked cookies and easy smile, and apologizes, jokingly saying he needs to look where he’s going, pushing the shades back into Remy’s grasp as he collects his papers

Remy manages to come to his senses enough to help with the pick-up, which he normally would never do, shuffling the papers together as he tried not to look directly at Patton as he handed them back

Patton thanked him with a smile that could have melted the Artic and pressed a cupcake into his hand, the bright yellow frosting on top dashed with black streaks to form a simply perfect smiley face, before hurrying off to his class

Remy remained standing in the hallway, looking at the cupcake held in one hand, glasses clutched in his other hand, a stupid stupid smile quickly spreading across his face and stretching cheeks that were burning

He missed his class and he didn’t care

He had a problem to deal with

Cue: Remy suddenly realizing he sees Patton a lot more often than he thought, and now that he realizes he shares a school building with the sun, with the embodiment of sunshine, with an angel who came to walk among humans as the ultimate sacrifice and brought his halo with him- brought it in his grin and laugh and personality, brought it in his treats and the way he touched people even with just a moment shared- realizing that makes it a LOT HARDER to just ignore him

He’s the definition of a mess. His carefully crafted attitude of never-caring is falling to pieces in front of him. He needs to ignore Patton but... he doesn’t want to. Gods help him, Remy wants to chase that pile of fluff and chat with him as he walked to class and eat lunch with him and if he gets burned up in the other’s inhuman heat than it would be a beautiful way to go

It takes longer than it should for him to get over himself, weeks and nearly months of stumbling over everything he did while in Patton’s presence, to the point that pat probably thinks he’s a weirdo at this point, but finally Remy does it: he askes Patton if he can eat lunch with him. One time. One day. It’s small but it’s something and Remy needs something if he’s going to survive what he has quickly identified as a crush

The lunch is FANTASTIC- Patton is giggly and happy and fun to talk to, and Remy’s able to hold himself together just a little, if only to make this count; bantering with Patton with his snark, though it’s softer around Patton; sweeter, less condemning

When it’s over, he’s a little sad- but that’s okay. Remy ate lunch with Patton and it had been everything he could have hoped so, yep, he was good now, out of his system, this was definitely how crushes worked

Except... Patton found him out the next day, asking if they could eat lunch together again. And again. And again and again and again until they just ate lunch together, no questions, and sometimes on Wednesdays they ‘break’ into the school’s chem lab and Patton pulls ingredients out of his bag and they make mini treats while the chem teacher ‘doesn’t’ supervise and ‘doesn’t’ chuckle and roll his eyes when something inevitably sets on fire (Remy’s doing, always, not that anyone really minds)

(Yes the chem teacher is Logan)

And one day Remy’s chuckling as he helps Patton pat down the table he has, for the seventh time, managed to set on fire, and Patton runs out to get some paper towels from the bathroom (some batter spilled in the mess) and Mr. Logan says something like ‘this takes me back’

Remy: ‘oh, yeah? you burn a lot of tables in your youth, Mister?’

Logan: ‘not exactly, but... well, me and Virgil (aka Mr. Emo Weirdo, who has walked in on every single one of Logan’s classes at some point, mostly to offer wrong answers to questions that are at least half of the time poorly veiled flirts) used to break into the science classrooms and make rather dangerous concoctions when we were in high school. off dates, I suppose, but when young and in love...’

Remy: ‘...what’

The conversation falls into confused Logan saying that Remy and Patton are dating, yes, it’s exactly what it looks like...

Remy’s mortified. He’s not dating! That would be- well that would be great actually- but he’s not dating him! That’s... that’s impossible!! He’s not... Patton would never want him, sweet sweet Patton who shines bright enough to light the world, they can’t be dating, it would never happen

Before anything more can be said Patton’s back and everything’s back to normal... or is it?

Remy starts hanging out with Patton less, worried he’s sending bad signals, or taking advantage of the sunshine, or something

Tbh... Logan thinking they were dating, and him considering that as a reality... it was amazing. He had never been happier.

But Patton wouldn’t want him, it wouldn’t be right, so he had to move on before his heart got broken and it was all his damn fault

Patton’s upset, and worried. what changed? Why is Remy avoiding him? Did he say something?

hcs of what the van der lindes smell like

this is random as hell, but why the hell not? so here’s hcs that nobody asked for. i had to do some research for a couple of these because i had no idea what some popular smell were back then. an interesting read tho.

arthur smells of grizzly wintergreen chewing tobacco, gun oil, and leather with the slightest hint of horse. if you ever been around someone who dips, you know what i mean. he’s always taking care of his things; cleaning his guns, making sure the leather of his saddle is cracked, and caring for his horse. mixing mint leaves with his chewing tobacco was a trick arthur had picked up from uncle, but he’d never let the old man know he’d taught him something.

john smells like sweat, cigarettes, and dirt, but in a good way. like he’s been working hard and decide roll himself some cigs while taking a break. then lounged under a tree to smoke one. abigail always seemed to sneak up on him when he took a breather.

dutch smells like books and leather, but mostly of a cologne he managed to snatch up. some are strong, others not so much, but they still manage to smell nice on him. there’s almost always the lingering smell of a woman on him, like his escapades are embedded forever into his clothing.

hosea also smells like books and leather, but with a hint of rosemary and thyme. i like to believe he keeps a bag of with his clothes chest, like a bag of potpourri. bessie always did love the smell of dried herbs.

abigail smells heavily of coffee and bit of soap. she does hers and jack laundry herself and she gets them clean. pearson’s coffee has been and always will be her favorite. she’s tried making it herself but it never turns out right. jack was the only one figured it out. from then on, he made the coffee for the house.

jack smells like chocolate and probably will til the day he dies. as he gets older it molds and shifts; books, coffee, leather and gun oil, but chocolate is a constant. it’s hosea’s fault really, he shouldn’t have spoiled him so much with sweets.

karen smells like river rocks and lavender, because her favorite scent is lavender and she actually enjoys bathing in rivers. makes her feel like a goddess out of storybook. as she starts drinking, the smell is slowly overwhelmed by booze. it’s still there but the whiskey makes it hard to find. but she’d much rather be engulfed in the scent that reminds her of sean.

tilly smells like lemongrass and soap. she’s stuck doing laundry a lot but lemongrass reminds her of her mother and sweeter times.she asks charles to get it for her whenever he goes out hunting and without fail he always gets her some. no questions asked.

mary-beth smells like roses and pen ink. it’s all very romantic to her and she loves feeling like a french poet with her rose perfume. the fountain pen arthur got her makes her feel like she’s really living the fantasy.

sadie smells like honey and black tea. personally she prefers coffee with some cream, but jake loved a cup of sweetened earl grey. it’s okay to her, doesn’t have the same bite like a cup of joe, but she drinks it in memory of him.

susan smells like bergamot and lemon. it’s a typical scent for a woman to have in the 19th century. she remembers having to almost drown john in the smell because he never washed properly. he learned quick to scrub for a long time, she made sure of that.

molly smells like jasmine. it’s an expensive and distinguished smell. it makes her miss home and her old life sometimes, but dutch picks her up a bottle when she’s running low. it’s little things like that make her fall in love with him more.

sean smells like oak wood and whiskey. of course he’d smell like his favorite drink and what it sits in. he practically sweats the stuff. karen complains but that’s never stopped her from burying her face in chest after a tumble. sometimes when molly sees him, she swears she can smell the countryside air of home.

javier smells like a campfire and violets. pretty much everyone in camp smells like a campfire to some degree, but javier probably smells the most like it given that he spends much of his free time around one. violets is a comforting smell, something his mother would where back in mexico. it’s the most expensive thing she ever purchased, but she loved it. he snatches up snow violets on outings to make his own.

charles smells like pine, blackberries, and crisp fall air. he spends most of his time hunting, sometimes he gets tree sap on him; damned woodpeckers. charles doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth, but he loves berries. black berries are his favorite, they seem to have the right amount of sweet and tart that hits the spot. for the most part these scent are faint but the pine mixed with scent of dead leaves and soil remind mary-beth of fall mornings.

lenny smells a lot like his father did; books, ink, and cedar. he’s a big reader, sometimes a writer. he remembers when he used to write for fun. his father always did like his stories. remembers the fountain pen his father saved up for his 13th birthday. he keeps a small block of cedar with his clothes, something about keep the bugs away. he wishes he could find that cologne his father liked though.

kieran obviously smells like horse, but also of hay, leather, and burdock root. he’s mostly in charge of the horses, caring for them while the others are busy. he feeds them and makes medicine for them. so he has a strange combo of the sweet hay smell and the slight bitter scent of burdock. leather comes with taking care of the camp’s tack as well. horses are a comfort for him, they’re nicer than people. more accepting too.

pearson smells like morning coffee by the sea. always the first up to a brew, just like back in the navy. the smell of the ocean seems to have seeped into his pores, maybe it had. it reminds of when he was younger. had less cares in the world. he wonders if his aunt could’ve be proud of the man he is today.

swanson smells either of fresh, pressed linens or medicine and booze. he’s in a terrible head space and can’t quit; the drinking, his affliction. oh, what sad man he is. things blur together, it’s hard to really be there, in the moment. but eventually, he picks himself back up. becomes the man he wants to be, a man of god again. he hopes margaret is proud of him.

strauss smells like fresh linens, hair pomade, and orange blossoms. fresh pressed suit and slicked back hair, always the image of professionalism. have to if he wants his business to seem legitimate. orange blossom reminds him of his childhood, when things weren’t quite as tough. of his dear, sweet sister. oh how he wished he could’ve done more for his family.

trelawny smells like patchouli and vanilla. overwhelming and subtle. it makes him appear more mysterious than he already is. it also reminds him of home and his family. one would think with how he’s away so much, he probably doesn’t think of home, but he does. he thinks of his childhood, of his wife, and of his children. patchouli is a memory of his father and he wears now that he’s grown. vanilla reminds him of his family in saint denis. sweet and good.

bill smells like moonshine, pomade, and gunpowder. it’s a lot like his father, but he won’t be him. won’t forget as long as he doesn’t mix. at least that’s what he tells himself, but his memory is already starting to get fuzzy. the thick gel makes him fell confident, like he has his life together. it makes him feel good in ways he wouldn’t have thought. war changes you. those changes never go away either. it’s supposed to build character. that’s what they said. it did, but not the way he thought it would.

micah smells like blood, sweat, and a heavy cologne. he’s always moving, always working, always killing. doesn’t matter how often or when he bathes, the smell of cooper lingers. so much blood on his hands, even at a young age. sweat clings at his brow whenever he sleeps, so he doesn’t do it much. only when he has to. too many memories, not enough tears. ain’t no time fro crying boy, be a man (hates that he was named after his father, hates that he became him, but what choice did he have). cologne covers it up. the heavy musk hides the pain and fear, but not the killer.

uncle has two modes, smelling surprisingly good or unsurprisingly, but still shockingly bad. there is no in-between. he can smell like a dumpster fire or tobacco, mint, and whiskey. remember how i said arthur learned to mix mint leaves with his chewing tobacco? yeah uncle still does that, has for years. whiskey is a constant smell, much like sean, he practically sweats the stuff.

Nihil: Small, yet beautiful wedding! He wouldn’t invite many people. Just his family and small friend group, and anyone who you thought deserved to show up. He’d take you somewhere tropical for your honeymoon. It would just be really nice and relaxing! He’d be one to wear one of those Hawaiian shirts.

Papa I: It will definitely be more of a ritualistic wedding. One in the name of the unholy lord. It would be shorter and sweeter, but it wraps up nicely. The honeymoon would probably be somewhere as macabre as him. Maybe Transylvania? That always sounds like a good idea!

Papa II: His wedding day would be one of the only days he’d be soft towards the public! It would be an extravagant event, and there would be tons of people there. Of course, no strangers, but he just know a lot of people. The honeymoon would be somewhere as extra as him. Maybe somewhere in Italy? (He’s definitely taking you to pound town on the way OOF)

Papa III: His wedding is either going to be super extra, or have a theme to it! No one can tell him otherwise once he’s set on an idea. Being the charmer he is, his honeymoon would be somewhere romantic like Paris. It would be full of love and passion. Your room has a wonderful view! (It’s also good to know he could settle down.)

Copia: Like Nihil, he would have something smaller. It wouldn’t be as small as Nihil’s, but would be smaller than II’s. He’d definitely tear up seeing how wonderful you looked in your tux/dress. Fumbles up with his vows because of how nervous he is. He’d convince Nihil to give him a few days off, and would take you somewhere beautiful. Maybe somewhere you were talking about for a while with him?

Ethan’s read books that colored his idea of romance - it’s not like he could learn from Joseph - and he’s picked up a few things from watching some couples in New Eden. Rowan’s idea of romance died when she was with the Highwaymen, so when Ethan (eventually) starts to treat her like a true romantic interest instead of an acquaintance, she’s just ??? I have no idea why you brought me wildflowers and told me you like spending time with me I don’t know what this is help

From the last answer, it’s definitely Ethan, but neither of them actually know what valentine’s day is.

Absolutely neither. Rowan isn’t big on hand-holding. As I mentioned, though, they will occasionally lock their little fingers.

Rowan was like “mark me down as scared and horny” when she first met Ethan (since he successfully snuck up on her, one of the best watchmen the Highwaymen had, and proceeded to keep his bow drawn for a full 3 minutes or so with the arrow pressed to the back of her neck while he interrogated her) so I suppose you could call that a crush? Point is, she was impressed.

After Ethan gives Rowan a gift for the first time she thinks it’s some weird delayed barter system and he’ll eventually want something in return. She spends a lot of time thinking about what that should be.

Probably Rowan, though neither of them are very handsy people.

Ethan writes her notes and slips them into her bag when she’s not looking.

Ethan. God help him if he finds a book or something about zodiac signs. He reads anything and everything he gets his hands on and he’d probably be fascinated with astrology.

Neither of them are very protective because they each know that the other can take care of themself. But they’re both very defensive of each other, especially when it comes to their respective worlds. Rowan would fistfight the Twins for Ethan if she had to and he would face the entirety of New Eden for her. She doesn’t want her people anywhere near him, and he doesn’t want his people to hate her.

💚: who tends to get sick more often? who is better at taking care of the other?

I have the hc that Ethan’s immune system is weaker than normal because of exposure to radiation during his early formative years. He gets sick easily, and stays sick longer. While Rowan isn’t usually around when he’s sick (she isn’t allowed in New Eden) she would take pretty good care of him if she could. She knows a lot about how to get a sick person back on their feet - the Highwaymen didn’t like it when their people weren’t in the fight. She has a lot of tricks up her sleeve when it comes to using plants and food to get someone feeling better.

💜: who said “i love you” first? or, if neither has said it yet, who is more likely to say it first?

Rowan will probably say it first by accidentally letting it slip in conversation. Then she’ll try to cover it up and fail miserably and get all embarrassed and it’ll just go poorly all around.

💛: who believes in soulmates?

I don’t know if either of them do. They’re both too skeptical about the world - almost to the point of cynicism for Rowan - and their lives haven’t exactly been filled with blessings and miracles. In their experiences, the universe is indifferent at best.

(referring to this post) Ayy, glad to know you’re into this just as much as I am, anon ;D Those tropes are honestly!! My #1 favorite!! I want them in every fic!!

Niles is actually much softer and sweeter in a romance than some people might think given his tendency to be rude to others before he realizes how uncalled for it is (see: in S-Supports he tends to say “wherever you go, I’ll follow” to his spouse quite easily/seriously and if he marries the Avatar, he tends to comment that he worries if they stay out late, coyly mentions that he brought them flowers, etc. Some of this is teasing but I think it’s also genuine too.) Which is to say I agree! Niles had a hard life and he’s used to roughness, so while he’s a realest, I think he’s also rather soft w/ his spouse too. Which means he really wants to comfort them/comfort himself if anything bad were to almost happen to them!

I’ve definitely written them fussing over Odin before (and am writing it again now because I’m weak, RIP), but you’re right that I don’t think I’ve done Leo/Niles being the ones who were in trouble before! I recently wanted to write Niles being the one to have a near death experience, but I got side tracked and started writing a different fic instead, lol. But I do want to see it! And write it! So here are some shorthand HCs for those kind of experiences for all three of them!

Odin:

I think he remembers his near experiences quite well and they do haunt him a bit. Specifically that one by the bridge haunts him the most, and that’s why he’s afraid of heights.

He’s in a difference place now than he was at like age 16 though, so while he was really ready to sacrifice himself back then (canonically bc it seemed like a hero move to do and also in my heart bc he was probably Very Tired of the bad future and was thinking about giving up if it meant he could rest while everyone else could make it out okay), he’s not so ready to do that self-sacrificial stuff anymore.

Not that he wouldn’t sacrifice himself now, because he would, but he does very much want to live more now than in the Bad Timeline, I think. I think that’s part of the reason he retreats like Selena in Birthright if beaten in battle

Anyway, he’s used to being the one who does crazy stuff, Niles is very capable and isn’t normally hurt all that badly, and Leo is obscenely powerful, a prince, and has the two of them keeping him safe. So if either Niles or Leo were to be hurt seriously (especially doing something to keep Odin safe), he’d be pretty shocked.

Would absolutely tell Niles/Leo how cool they looked doing whatever it was they did. Or at the very least recounting it all in dramatic fashion to anyone willing to listen.

When he’s not recounting these events like a TV show, he does drop character to be serious

While he can appreciate the storytelling elements of whatever happened at a later date, this “wow, that was kind of cool” comes much later/acts as a front initially. Because after Bad Timeline, he seriously (of course) Does Not want to lose anybody ever again and the fear of it happening right there where he can see but can’t act is real.

So he probably makes them promise not to do that stuff again/to leave the stunts to him, a true hero

Also fusses obnoxiously. Definitely suggesting something new every two minutes to make Leo/Niles feel better. Only calms down when he’s specifically called out about being too antsy and told to lay down with them. He just has a lot of energy and nowhere to direct it. Probably still freaked out and trying not to show it.

Very Fidgety and going to be thinking about what could have happened for a long time. But ironically, for having the biggest mouth, he’s the most likely to lock that shit up inside and not bring it up again unless called out (so Niles and Leo have to call him out. Otherwise he’ll cool down in his own time)

Niles:

Again, I think Niles is much softer in his romantic life than out of it/with other people.

Even if he says coy/teasing things, if it’s to his spouse, he genuinely means it. 11/10 likes cuddles the most.

But because of his past he definitely knows just how rough and cruel the world can be (similar to Odin but still different) and so the prospect of anything happening to Leo or Odin is very real in his mind. And he’s right. The reality of this is just sharper to him even off the battlefield.

So if something really were to happen to either of them, his fears would become the sharpest.

In exchange, he becomes even softer with the injured person. He wants to lay there and just hold them and listen to them breathe. He’s awake even when they fall asleep.

If they’re in his arms, he can tell himself they’re safe and sound

If they got hurt some stupid way, he’s going to be annoyed. But he also trusts Leo and Odin 110% as his lord and his partner (respectively) on top of the fact they’re in love, so if they made a case for why they did XYZ, he’d probably relent and believe/trust in them to have made the right call

As soft as he is with them, though, Niles will also become more withdrawn into his own head after an event like this, even if only for a few days.

Similar to his Support with Leo: Catch Niles staring into space and just thinking to himself with nobody around.

He’ll talk about what he’s imagining much more readily than Odin if asked. He surprisingly doesn’t really have any qualms sharing his memories or fears before, especially with someone he trusts. Probably secretly wants to share them?

So expect his response to be “I’m thinking about how close I came to losing you” or something similar if asked, even if how candid he is catches his SO off guard the first few times. He’s 100% candid.

This just means he’s even more grateful Leo/Odin lived.

It’s stressful for sure. Niles requires a lot of winding down after something like that.

He also might chide himself for not doing more, but being a realist also means realizing when there was nothing he could have done to prevent something worse from happening too.

This doesn’t necessarily make it easier. It just is.

Leo:

Also a realest like Niles, but he’s also fussy like Odin, though usually fussier more about the events than the aftermath.

By which I mean, he’s the one who says “Why did you do X… You could have YZ… In the future, don’t take risks, etc.” That kind of thing.

It’s coming from a place of love and worry, even if it can seem kind of moot a whole day later when Niles/Odin is laying in bed recovering.

Niles accepts these comments with relative ease bc he knows it makes Leo feel better, but Odin might be the type to say “Milord!! I wanted to but! That wasn’t an option!” Not a fight bc he loves and respects Leo a lot too but Odin doesn’t bend very much either if he did what he thought was right. Leo is usually the one to win for a variety of reasons though

Canonically quite the smooth-talker in his romance Supports and I don’t act on that enough. So he probably is very thoughtful and ensures Niles/Odin have as convenient a time as possible while they are recovering even when Leo can’t be there himself. He doesn’t want them to strain any more than they already are.

Niles and Odin’s duties to him as retainers come first even when they’re all together, and Leo understands that very well. So he understands that sometimes they have to do things he’d rather not do in the name of Nohr/Leo.

That said, he specifically never wants them to risk themselves more than strictly necessary (see: his Odin Support where he says this explicitly, his Support with Niles where Niles is a little more difficult to dissuade and so Leo sidesteps moreso than outright saying no but is obviously a little uncomfortable), and he will be Upset if they did something that wasn’t worth it, even if they did it for him.

Not the type to hide what he feels when it’s not necessary, so he’s going to be Obviously Scared/Relieved when he sees Niles/Odin hurt and then realizes they’ll be alright. He composes himself pretty soon after, but he has a lot more emotions than other diplomats/royals might pick up on considering the image a prince of Nohr must keep up. Niles and Odin get to see them all.

Unlike Niles (who usually relents) or Odin (who stays firm in his own convictions but realizes a lot of things can happen very quickly in a battle), if Leo puts his foot down, it stays down.

This could lead to a fight later if Odin/Niles hurt themselves after Leo told them not to, but at the end of the day they’re all doing it for each other, tbh

This list might be a little more aftermath focused than actual “stumbling upon nearly dead SO,” but that reaction depends on the exact situation. And also I’ll try to save dramatic reactions for actual written scenes. Hopefully I’ll do one for Niles soon like I originally wanted to!

ok this is the last one…. but i obviously had to save the best for last ya know…..also i’ll probably get really sad answering this one lol

How I feel about this character:

I….love to hate Tetsuo and I hate to love him. like i call him trash man, my trash son, stinky garbage man, and a wide variety of trash related things but deep down?? i really do love his trashy ass.

I don’t empathize with him so much as sympathize, but even then it’s more like pity just because he has such a sad background, which by no means excuses the horribly fucked up things he did. i think he’s just inherently a sensitive person, as opposed to kaneda who has a thick skull and tough skin, and feels more intensely and intimately about certain things that to other ppl would be trivial. somewhere along the way, his fears and worries and anxieties were probably shut down and brushed off as over exaggerations and Tetsuo just being weak (honestly? probably largely done by Kaneda, which is partly where tetsuo’s resentment of him stems from) and that subsequently made him internalize a lot of feelings and fears and convert them into defensiveness and easy annoyance and misplaced aggression…..poor forehead boi. i really loved him in the beginning of the manga before he went all psycho agro God complex….he wasn’t quite sweet but he was so much sweeter than any point throughout the manga and like he was just a young dumb kid trying to carve a place for himself in all the wrong ways :((

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

lmao it’s a short list Kanetets is my g u i l t y pleasure lemme tell you. i also think like kanekei it’s p toxic (honestly probably more so than kanekei if i’m being honest!!) but the whole idea of Kaneda being one of the only people Tetsuo is truly comfortable with and wholly himself with as his oldest friend and the same going for Kaneda….my heart. their relationship imo also fits into the category of ‘unhealthy familiarity’ like just cause something is easy and familiar doesn’t mean it’s gooood and i see this being especially true with kanetets largely because of my own hc’s of kaneda maybe being a lil abusive in the past?? or more so just negligent and blind to some of Tetsuo’s needs being different than his own, tetsuo being the sensitive little baby that he is (and let’s be honest, kaneda doesn’t do feelings. he just does and kinda hopes for the best)

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

so i kind of do ship Kaoritets romantically occasionally sometimes actually when i’m in a mood to be real hetero (and either really sad or really sappy like there’s no inbetween lol. sweet kaoritets makes my teeth rot with how saccharine it is like @cmrnfry once upon a time drew a thing where kaori and tetsuo were being happy and roller skating together and I’M LITERALLY LIKE SMILING TO MYSELF IN THE DARK THINKIN BOUT HOW PRECIOUS IT IS BLESS U CAM AND BLESS UR KAORITETS bless all ur art in general tbh) but i do like to think of them more as being good friends! mainly just because Kaori is a lesbian (and i secretly want her to hold hands and kiss with Kei lmao) but also because Kaori 10000000% deserved better soooo movin on!

My unpopular opinion about this character:

um… i love him. i think that’s a p unpopular opinion lol

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

i secretly wish he didn’t have to die……it’s really improbable that there would be any way to avoid that tbh because it’s not even like he’s one of those ambiguously bad characters, he’s a straight up menace and the cause behind not one, but two city wide catastrophes (and like @fridge-04 got me saying cause the comparison is just too gd accurate, he was like a rabid dog that needed to be put down….ouch) but ig it’s ok since i don’t really think he’s dead anyway just existing in a different dimension stuck eternally getting his ass handed to him by babysitting some esper kids. talk about divine retribution lol.

★ let alone the infamous SediLusiVici, one of the most famous gamers and the one he’d been following religiously for years now

★ he finds out in the – for him – most shocking and surprising way possible

★ SediLusiVici was having a collab with PewDiePie and the two of you decided to play LOLOL

★ PewDiePie suggested to attack the top three players of which two were none other than Seven and of course Yoosung

★ when he’d suggested that you’d laughed, telling PewDiePie that number one was one of your best friends and number two was your husband

★ Yoosung’s face had completely frozen as he stared at the screen, PewDiePie gasping in the background as you laughed your ass off

★ “You’re kidding, right?”
