Killing Me by Luke Sital-Singh

This one is Zhongli singing about Guizhong and how much he misses and loves her. It's extra painful if you add the headcanon that he's with Childe now, but still misses her.

The Curse of the Sad Mummy by League of Legends

Couldn't find an actual artist on Spotify??? Either way, this song reminds me of Scaramouche, the way it speaks of wandering, searching for a friend and being disappointed over and over until he loses control. Just *chefs kiss*

I Want You Here by Plumb

This one is a bit more of a stretch, it reminds me of Childe and Teucer, but inspired me to start on a fanfic where they are forcibly separated and Childe has to fight to get Teucer back. I especially like the verse "your hand, so small, held a strand of my hair so strong"

Something Wild - Lindsey Stirling, ft. Andrew McMahon

This song reminds me of Tighnari! I actually have a Tighnari fictive, so when I first heard this song after getting him, I fell even more in love with it. As a special mention, it also reminds me of Legolas from Lord of the Rings!

My bones are weary from searching for answers to my infinite questions I wish to ask you.

My energy is spent from hoping you feel as I do, afraid that you don’t.

"A story doesn't need a theme in order to be good" I'm only saying this once but a theme isn't some secret coded message an author weaves into a piece so that your English teacher can talk about Death or Family. A theme is a summary of an idea in the work. If the story is "Susan went grocery shopping and saw a weird bird" then it might have themes like 'birds don't belong in grocery stores' or 'nature is interesting and worth paying attention to' or 'small things can be worth hearing about.' Those could be the themes of the work. It doesn't matter if the author intended them or not, because reading is collaborative and the text gets its meaning from the reader (this is what "death of the author" means).

Every work has themes in it, and not just the ones your teachers made you read in high school. Stories that are bad or clearly not intended to have deep messages still have themes. It is inherent in being a story. All stories have themes, even if those themes are shallow, because stories are sentences connected together for the purpose of expressing ideas, and ideas are all that themes are.
