its less that i think old kids properties shouldnt have darker, adult reboots and that they're inherently bad, and more that i think that most of them lack an understanding of why those original works were special and enjoyable in the first place and attempt to overcompensate for it by falling back onto tropes the cw popularized in order to seem more "mature"

working with Leviathan when he wants to tell you something be like

wonders what 'Little Bird' has to do with anything when he rarely uses names like that

Tries to check if the word for Tengrists is Tengrist because he's referencing the bird shape on the symbol used by them when he talks about directions

weirdly gets recommended by google straight up shit about Tengri and Shiva being the same person - for very questionable reasons but there was barely any results for the search so ive "no idea" why google suddenly made me search it as if it was popular af

Avoids it because although I know the name Tengri is extremely important to him I get uncomfortable using it, because though I've always known Leviathan as the Day Sky and as The Big Sky Bird Made Of Small Birds to my Small Sky Bird since before I even knew his name(s), I don't know enough about Mongolia to feel comfortable using that name

Look above this passage and sees that the lead up to it, relevant to the meditation with Ahi and the fact that yesterday Leviathan was like "yeah just start recognising us as the same entity", is "The Lord has another name. It is only when the love principle underlying this name is rightly understood, the real form of the Cosmos can be recognized. That name is Saambasiva. Saa means divinity. Amba refers to the cosmos. Siva means the Supreme person (Purusha)."

A/N: oof it’s been a while since I posted some Megumi content hope you enjoy! 💗

It didn’t take much convincing to make your sorcerer fiancé to join you for pumpkin carving, but that’s probably because he’s the biggest simp ever.

Megumi’s dark piercing eyes continuously flicker to your hand holding the knife, trying his best not to be overprotective but it’s second nature, so he fails easily. “Be careful with the knife y/n” he mutters.

You giggle when you turn your attention towards him only to find he’s just shamelessly staring at you now, which was something you were already used to though.

“I’m fine Megumi, stop being such a worry wart!”

“I’m not” Megumi states firmly, but it’s hard to believe that.

He turns his attention back to the pumpkin in front of him momentarily but he made no move to carve it, after all, he wasn’t interested in pumpkin carving, he was interested in you.

He silently turns his attention back to you, eyebrows furrowing when he’s realised the mess you’ve made with the pumpkin guts. “Stop making a mess you silly girl” he scolds half heartedly, pinching your cheek before the lovesick sorcerer cleans up your mess.

You open your mouth to retort but instead you decided to tease your lover just a little, makes things more fun right?

You grab some of the pumpkin guts and throw it towards him, the orange pulp landing on his pale hands. His head immediately turns towards you, shooting you an unimpressed glare with an eyebrow raised.

“Oi-“

“Whoopsie! Sorry gumi, just helping you clean the mess” you say with a cheeky smile which seemed a bit too mischievous to be innocent.

He’s frowning but it became a bit too hard to keep his resolve as he notices you bite your pretty plush lips to prevent yourself from laughing. God, you’re so fucking cute even when you’re being a gremlin.

“You think you’re so fucking funny don’t you?” he asks, tilting his head ever so slightly.

You gleam in pride at his words, “thats because I am the funniest gumi”, flipping your hair to add emphasis. His fingers impulsively reach out to play with the ends of your hair.

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah” You say unable to fight off your smile.

Megumi flashes a smile back, before speaking “only thing funny about you is the pumpkin guts stuck to your chin”

Your eyes widen as your hands immediately fumble around your chin, trying to wipe off any excess. And in your hurry, you miss the handsome smirk on Megumi’s face as he watches you.

“Here let me help you” he offers.

But as his veiny hands grabs your chin, you gasp as he pushes it upwards and presses himself against your lips instead. You’re surprised but you kiss back until you both pull away for air.

“Gotcha”

“Perv” you huff.

He chuckles while he leans back and puts his hands back in his pocket. He hides half his face back in his jumper to hide his smile as usual.

“You liar, I never had anything stuck to my chin” you say with a pout, now leaning forward and pressing yourself on his muscular chest.

“You lie all the time” he retorts as his arms snake around your waist to help you into his lap.

“Not true! I only lie about my grades!” You admit, as you wrap your arms around his broad shoulders.

“Mhm sure” he says dryly as he feeds you some of the pumpkin pulp. Smiling at you as you munch on it like a chipmunk.

“Cutie” he mutters as he presses a kiss to the corner of your lips.

stop cause his cheeks would start burning, hot spreading all over the back of his neck and bakugou would squeeze you so tight in that way you know he’s silently apologising in. “baby,” he almsot whines, tucking his face atop your head as if to hide how embarrassed he is. “i…wasn’t laughin’ at your body. you’re fuckin’ gorgeous and i’ll say it as many times as you want me to and mean it. i just…i like the way your ass bounces when you let me fuck you from behind. it’s like watchin’ puddin’ jiggle.”

bakugou would be so embarrassed to admit it, you’d be sitting in his arms completely silent a bit in shock before a soft smile crosses your lips. “katsuki?”

↳ authors note : theres someone named 'milestokilometers' (?) thats always in my notifs whenever i post miles and i find it really funny HAHAHA an old draft (like, i wrote this the day i watched atsv), wanted to get it out of the way

The first time you encounter the spider-boy was on a particularly stressful day. You just finished texting Miles that you needed a breather and wanted to hang ontop of your apartment rooftop for a few hours, just to clear your mind.

To your surprise, it seemed like the Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman coincidentally swung by your rooftop and needed a break too.

That sparked a rather.. interesting dynamic between the both of you. You were sort of taken aback on how fond Spiderman seemed of you, since he'd visit almost every other day.

For starters, hugs seemed to last far longer than they needed to when it came to you. You've seen his public appearances, how the exchange seemed to last a mere second with his fans. However with you, it lingers. It stays for almost two seconds longer and almost as if he's starved of such affection.

Secondly was the way he'd swing by at the most random and ungodly hours of the night to knock at your window and go; "I made you a playlist :)" while you just have to let him in and listen to the whole thing with him. You have no idea how he knows that you barely sleep either.

Thirdly is the way he'll always try to put a smile on your face. It'll always be your favorite thing whenever there's a silly thing going on and he looks at you to see if you saw it too, just so he'll see you laugh and laugh along with you.

And one of the more embarassing things to mention were the public appearances. You and Spiderman often went on hangouts, (he called them dates and you unintentionally friendzoned him) and even if you do your absolute best to avoid it, you'll always find paparazzi spotting the both of you. But even amidst the crowd, you can see how his attention is fixed on you. As if nothing could break his gaze if attempted.

You won't ever forget the time that Miles, your best friend and long term crush asked where you got the keychain on your bag from (which was a gift from Spiderman after he pointed at matching keychains and practically declared to everyone in the store he was buying it for you) and you answered: "Someone special to me." You noticed a bit of a glint or glow in his eyes, almost as if he was happy for you.. for some reason.

Though you did admit you found it a little strange.. your best friends sudden Q&A sessions about Spiderman, you mean.

"What do you think about Spiderman?"

"Pretty cool superhero, amiright?"

"His costume does NOT look like hes bleeding from his armpits, surely you'll agree?"

You find it odd but brush it off, at least you're done with class for the day and get to meet with the center topic of every question Miles has asked you today.

"Spiderman." Smiling as he swung onto your rooftop, he arrives on time with the same flashy landing. "(name)!" There he goes to practically tackle you into a hug, squeezing you tightly as you can see the joy in his eyes. "I know that it's only been a few minu- ahem. hours.. since we last saw each other, it's been so lonely!"

You raise a brow in amusement, chuckling a little at his antics. "Aren't you the Spiderman? I'm sure you have a lot of friends or fans who'd love to see you." You inquired but he shakes his head a little and sighs.

"Well yeah.. of course I do, but you're the one I wanna spend time with."

"..That's so unbelievably cheesy-"

"Shut up!" He demands, causing you to laugh at his almost instant embarassment. "You know, my best friend was asking so much about you.. I think he's your biggest fan." You add to the conversation, leaning against a safety fence as he chuckled. "Really? What gives you that idea?"

You huff and cross your arms. "Just.. weird questions. What I think of you, if you're cool and if your costume looked like you were bleeding out if your armpits."

"What did you answer?"

"I didn't answer any of them," You say with a huff, already feeling a headache coming in right after recalling that memory. "But I do think you're bleeding out of your armpits."

"RUDE."

It doesn't take a genius to tell he's unamused even under the mask, how his eyes looked spoke enough volumes. The iconic 'are you serious.' look was evident enough and it makes you giggle, giving him a light nudge. "I'm kiddinggg... kind of."

Spiderman chuckles and crosses his arms, looking at your fit of giggles and smiling softly under his mask. "Cute."

"I'm curious.. you talk about this friend of yours alot.. Miles, isn't it? What's he like?" He asks curiously, knowing damn well he just wants to hear what you say about him to other people. Was this the best way to do it? Not exactly, but curiosity kills the cat.. or whatever the saying is.

"Did I not tell you about him? Well.. he's a bit of a clutz.. rather clumsy at times, usually bumping into me or something.."

Miles was going to pretend he doesn't know the reason he does that is to just be able to be super close to you.

"Sometimes he's a little bit reckless, usually a very messy guy and leaves a mess whenever he goes over to my house.. However, despite all of that.. I really really like him."

What.

"You like m- Miles ???"

He watches you smile fondly at the sky. "Yeah. A lot."

If only you could see the face he's making under that mask, a mix of fluster and absolute joy at those words. You actually liked him. "Well.. what stops you from telling him?" Miles inquired, watching you sigh and bury your head into your hands. "And what? Get badly rejected and lose my best friend? Nah man.. I can't lose him, not like that."

"Hey, look at me."

He places his hands on your shoulders, making you look right at him as he gives you a reassuring squeeze. "You don't have to be so afraid, I don't think there's much to lose.. who knows? Maybe he feels the same."

You chuckle a little at the idea, completely clueless to how excited Miles was gonna be once he gets that text from you. "Thanks, Spiderman."

"You're welcome."

I've been seeing some people express concern for Bloodmoon on this post SO i'm going to throw in some extra context and Bloodmoon lore to clear some things up

Honestly i probably should have done this a long time ago BUT ANYWAYS-

The sudden change for them was very.. shocking to put it kindly. A very drastic change but after the initial shock Bloodmoon is very euphoric - Just happy and whimsical and freed because they're in a new form that just feels right even if they havn't fully come to terms as to why yet.

But existential crisis still boils under the surface and it's not til sometime later that it breaks out.

This is Bloodmoon shortly after the transformation -

- cheery, silly, happy. Sun and Moon arnt worried for too long because they seem happy (and in a way they're kind of flattered that their fae friend decided to take a form similar to their own - they've met many kids who dressed up like/wanted to be like the glamrocks afterall so this isnt too odd for them)

This is when the existential crisis/questioning moment really hits home

(happens while they are out too which only quickened it what with anxiety being around people and all)

Now the reason they changed in the first was because they realised they had fallen in love (platonically) with Sun and Moon. Their shapeshifting specifically is very emotional based and will trigger usually when high emotion is felt. This is the biggest physical change they have ever had however, and the most impactful.

And why did they turn red like the Bloodmoon you might wonder? Well 1. Lunar Eclipse, or Eclipse vibes specifically and 2. Have you ever heard of the red string? ~

But yeah right after the change they would be too caught up in the euphoria of feeling whole and comfortable in a new body and identity to really acknowledge the panic beneath the surface. And the crisis kicks in over time because they had been very much the non-partnering type before and never saw theirself ever truly falling for anyone (again even in a platonic sense)

They would talk to Sun and Moon after this, and while feelings would not be outright admitted there would absolutely be understanding there and acceptance which is all they really need. They become qpp's over time after that.

Also i mentioned in the tags of my last post that this is basically irreversable and thats because the only way it could be reversed is if they stopped loving Sun and Moon (which ofc they could never)

They loved them enough to make them part of theirself - and in a way Sun and Moon do the same when they get tails installed to match (I'm a sentimental sap and tails are fun)

They're robots too so one thing that they have in common with a fae is they can also alter their forms to an extent ;D tho in this case they just wanted to have tails so they could be more like Bloodmoon.

Both parties adopting pieces of each other into their respective selves/identities out of love shared for each other.

Naruto Uzumaki

I think Naruto is pretty flexible with someone he likes/dates. He's got the kind of warm complimentary personality to bring out the best in you no matter what. He can sort of be with with anyone as long as they weren't 100% a carbon copy of him (similarities are okay just not exactly the same)

If you're someone who is more shy he holds the kind of warmth to naturally bring you out of your shell. Does so much talking without feeling embarassed or anxious so it takes the pressure off you. Is super encouraging when it comes to getting you to open up about yourself too.

He can be a little insensitive about certain things sometimes but it's never malicious or intentional. As long as you can call him out on his shit or understand, the two of you will flow well. He does learn, albiet it takes time. Makes the effort!

Naruto becomes a bit more sensitive and considerate around you the more he learns about your likes and dislikes. At first it was all about taking you to things he liked. If you enjoy them then great! More things you have in common but if you don't he wants to find out what you do like. Bugs you about it until you tell/show him. Makes it a fun time no matter what.

If you're more bubbly like him then the two of you are chatterboxes bouncing off each other, all laughs and energy. He's a competitive guy so if you are too then you can make a game out of who pays for the bill at dinner.

Didn't have money growing up so isn't into fancy food places. Is a local ramen man still. Ichiraku has his heart after all. So he's not going to be a fan of being dragged around to fancy venues all the time. If thats your thing then count him out. He's a street corner, local business kinda guy. Fancy places for anniversaries maybe.

In general he's just going to want to be with someone who supports him and who he can support in return. Naruto isn't super fussy. Compassion is a big thing for him in a partner. Also someone who strives to understand people.

Everything else is simply an added bonus that comes with being you.

Sasuke Uchiha

I think for Sasuke it's less about what he looks for in a partner and more about who will stick it out and be with him for him. He's a very complicated guy and not a lot of people can handle that. You have to be patient and understanding, that's for sure.

Like all Uchiha he feels things very deeply and with that depth comes a lot of pain and trauma he's held onto for years. Someone who is willing to stick around and just be there for him goes a long way.

Just be a shoulder to lean on, cry on and listen to him when he is ready.

If you are someone who is kind but not a push over (doesn't take shit from anyone) then that's perfect for him. There are days he needs kindess but there are also days he needs a kick in the ass. Someone to remind him of his priorities, that there are people who care about him and that you care about him.

He gets inside his own head a lot. If you're a bubbly person who can pull him out of that—he really needs it.

Even just someone who can make silly jokes and tell fun stories that make him laugh. Take him on mini adventures through the village. Little things to bring him back to life and get him out of his natural mopey state.

Sasuke will say he doesn't want to them but it's up to you to know better—to know he really just means he's afraid of leaving the comfort of his brooding.

He actually ends up enjoying himself. One day he does admit that to you (in the form of a gentle whisper in your ear).

If you're the kind of person who has a natural inclination to take care of him, he will appreciate you so much. Whether it's cooking him food or taking him out to eat, making sure he's sleeping or holding him while he sleeps to make sure he feels safe. All the little things to give him comfort.

Someone who can talk to him easily! He's not very good at opening up about certain things. If you start off the conversations and lean into certain topics, even by offering up certain vulnerabilities about yourself then he will feel safe to eventually do the same with you.

He needs someone he can talk to and trust but he's not good at establishing those boundaries and opening himself. He needs your help and comfort to do it.

Sasuke just needs someone who is willing to be open and vulnerable so he knows it's okay to be the same. He needs love.

Im only doing Brozone rn because thats all I feel like but send an ask or smth to request other characters if you’d like

golly gee here we go (im going in age order ((oldest to youngest)) because organization🔥🔥)

⭐️⭐️⭐️ John Dory:

90% ler, 10% lee

definitely used to wreck his brothers before the band broke up when they were younger

Used to embarrass his brothers in public by poking their sides or something and found it hilarious

the rest of Brozone definitely all ganged up on him for revenge

he isnt really a lee but doesn’t hate being tickled

still ticklish af though 💀

worst spot is his ribs

whenever one of his siblings starts a tickle fight, he usually wins

Always tells Poppy all of Branch’s worst tickle spots

He would sometimes tickle his brothers before a show to get them energized/in a good mood. Especially Clay, since he was supposed to have a silly attitude

(the following hcs are yanked from isitwp)❤️

- will purposely always pin his lees down, no matter who or what, he will always pin them down, even if it’s at the beginning, middle or end, somewhat he will pin them. (But sometimes he likes watching their limbs flail in desperate attempts to escape)

- when branch was younger, he would 100% hold him upside down and tickle his stomach as branch went crazy, desperately trying to get away.

- was known by his brothers as the “big tickle monster” considering he was the oldest, he was more stronger and he would chase them around the house and would not stop until he eventually got atleast one of them or until he just got tired.

- JD will in fact blow raspberries and to just make it worse, he would shake his head while blowing one to make it EVEN worse.

- definitely goes “nom nom nom!” When blowing raspberries and tickling his brothers, however he only does the nom nom nom thing on his brothers, he gets embarrassed if someone else knew that.

- definitely uses his hair to give a small sneak tickle attack to the side of his lee’s then acts like he didn’t he didn’t do anything.

- this bro used to actually tickle his brothers if they weren’t in the mood to practice, feel like it would go something like this: clay- dude, I’m not in the mood! JD- yeah yeah sure okay. *tickles clay’s armpits* clay- DUHUDEHE NOHOHO!

-if in a ler mood, JD will and I repeat will aim for these spots first, stomach, sides or ribs when he first attacks.

- acts like such a dad when tickling, he will go something like: JD- just checking on you! Respect your elders you rascal!

he doesn’t exactly hate being tickled either, but when he was younger and JD would poke him to get him to laugh (he always did it when they were interacting with fans too) he would get pretty mad so now he just gets embarrassed when he’s tickled

buuuuut since he’s a dad now he probably tickles his kids a lot so he does the same to his brothers. Especially Branch, since he’s kinda still considered the baby of the family

as adults he and JD sometimes team up during tickle fights, but when they were younger they went after each other the most

death spot is his stomach/sides

sometimes when he’s tickling his brothers, he’ll tell a dad joke, and when they laugh (bc they’re being tickled, not bc of the joke) he says something like “I knew you liked dad jokes!” Or “you really thought that was funny?” And they always get pissed

doesnt wreck people often, usually he prefers to briefly tickle people to cheer them up/ surprise them or something

his laugh gets really high pitched when he’s being tickled and he hates it

His underarms are his worst spot but his ears are pretty sensitive too

He would always team up with Branch when they were younger during tickle fights so that Bitty B wouldn’t be all alone/overwhelmed

LOVES soft/cuddly tickles

feathers make him WEAK (he’s hella feather ticklish)

has literally the sweetest sounding laugh

his back/shoulders/neck are his worst spots but he’s super ticklish everywhere else

when he’s the ler, he always gives raspberries

whenever he’s in a ler mood, he usually goes after Poppy because he’s used to it (started tickling her more often when they started dating bc he knew that she was comfortable with it and also bc he knows that she’ll most likely get him back and he loves it). Doesn’t even know why he’s so nervous to tickle people, especially his brothers because they tickle each other all the time

Branch is easily the most ticklish out of all his brothers 😭

honestly in the most blunt way possible i think he might actually be into it. he always liked him someone who has a little bite in them (and by always he means like, when he first met you because its highly likely youre his first partner)

if you get all riled up trying to defend him he might comically tug on the collar of his shirt, of which steam will stream out of... doesnt have much of a preference for height, but with you being on the shorter side it makes carrying you around a little less awkward!

POMNI:

absolutely taken aback when you just let it rip one day and you go off on someone (most likely jax lets all be real here for a minute), just stands there appalled before you eventually calm yourself down and turn your attention to her

honestly he thinks its a little funny that you get so worked up over things! probably calls you an ankle biter as a joke, which might make you a little mad. definitely picks you up by the scruff or the back of your shirt or whatever! really any equivalent of that works! jax has an entire arsenal of nicknames for you, all based on your height and energy. he loves seeing the way your face scrunches up a little in disdain when he calls you one of those names. all in good fun, for the most part, but he might let up if its something that makes you genuinely upset...

KINGER:

okokokokok so we dont know anything about queenie (i think, i must admit i dont keep up with gooseworx at all and am only relying off of the pilot) but i hc her to also be more on the feisty side

is this relevant? really it depends, because i think kinger would be comforted by the familiarity of your attitude, but also this could be a gateway for angst because it makes him think and dwell on the loss of queenie.... up to you!

subconsciously kneels down to your height to talk to you; he doesnt mean to be rude! it just sort of happens! thinks your fierceness is endearing in its own silly way!

ZOOBLE:

probably thinks that you can get a little overwhelming sometimes. i mean yeah sure its nice to have someone in your corner whos ready to help you out but zooble seems to be the type to not seek that help out; and in fact i can easily see them getting annoyed by someone constantly speaking for them. so you guys are going to need to communicate and work on this together lest there be a build of resentment

remember guys resentment is a real thing and it can ruin so much !! communicate!!!

that aside, i dont think they would comment much on your height, they really could not give less of a flying fuck

GANGLE:

torn between having her be intimidated by you or having her also find it endearing (and perhaps even attractive? shy person liking the one who always speaks their mind, you know?) while im not writing these to be explicitly romantic, i dont quite totally comfy with the idea of intimidation in a relationship.. though this can be applied to platonic relationships too... hmm... mayhaps a mix of it all? not quite sure! probably goes to you for tips to be more bold, love the idea of someone teaching gangle to grow a backbone

Piggy Back Rides

You've had a particularly long hard day at RAD. Exhausted and dreading the walk home, you ask your favourite demon brother for a little favour.

Was going to do these in groups, but they just kept getting longer and longer. Apologies my fellow simps, please enjoy them one at a time starting with the eldest and finishing with the youngest.

TW: none it's pure fluff. GN! MC (Maybe a little suggestive if you like close your eyes and pretend?)

Mammon

"Come on Mammon, please!" Your voice coming out whinier with every plea that leaves your lips. You'd been begging him to give you a piggy back ride home since you'd both started walking towards the entrance of RAD.

"And why should The Great Mammon carry ya home? Silly human, what's in it for me huh?" The second eldest says with a clearly fake annoyed look on his face.

Fine, if that's how he wants to play, you know just what to do to get him to admit defeat and carry you home. You're sure he secretly wants to do it anyway. Turning your back on him, you pull out your phone.

"Ugh fine! Levi was here today, I'm sure if I promise him a game he'll be m-" You almost finish before Mammon is cutting you off and reaching for your arm.

"N-No, no MC. I'll do it! If anyone should give ya a piggy back it's me! I'm ya first man, aren't I?" The last bit comes out a little more questioning then demanding. Quickly spinning around to face him again you reach out your hand and cup his cheek making him blush furiously. You should have known he would react this way, he's a real softy under that pretend tough exterior.

"Of course you are Mammon, Why do you think I asked you first?" Smiling, you step closer to him, cocking your head to the side and beaming up at him as you say it.

"T-thats r-right." He stammers. His eyes are focused solely on your lips, face slowly leaning closer towards yours.

On tip-toes you lift up and ghost your lips over his. "If you give me a piggy back ride home, I'll let you... Kiss me?"

His eyes flit back up to stare into yours as he swallows loudly. Weighing up whether you're serious or not and deciding not to risk missing out on that particular goldmine.

The words "get on" barely leave his mouth before he's man handling you onto his back making you squeal his name in surprise.

He practically sprints the whole way back to HOL. Only stopping when he gets to your room, dropping both your legs without a word making you clutch his chest tighter so you don't fall on your ass.

"Mammon! A little warning next time maybe?" Annoyance lacing your tone. You let go of him once you steady yourself.

"Yeah, yeah, sure MC." He says hurriedly as he opens your door and drags you inside, the door slamming behind you.

"What's gotten into you Mammon? I thought you only got this riled up about money, it can't be because I said you could kiss me, surely?" You're questions bring another blush to his cheeks. Smiling cheekily up at him as he stands in front of you.

"I-" He beings to stammer but is cut off by your lips connecting with his. Caught of guard by your sudden action he freezes for a second, his lips unmoving against yours. Self doubt creeps into your mind making you start to break off the kiss, maybe he didn't want it after all?

Feeling your hesitation snaps him out of his initial shock, his hands come up to cup your face and he leans in as you go to pull away. You might have had to steal the first kiss from him, but he's never letting you go now that he has had a taste.
