the moment they saw you walk in with your dog they were hooked

dog is a belgian malonois, lets call her Dolly

look at her, what a bby

Soap knows how crazy difficult that breed can be, so knowing that you are her handler just makes him internally swoon

secretly finds it hot that Dolly follows your every command and how in synch the both of you are navigating obstacles in training or in battle

(a little part of his brain swears he could be just as good following commands for you *wink wink*)

Dolly falls in love with Ghost, hands down

no one knows how or why

everyone's confused, you're the most confused

(he was saving her meat scraps from his meals and sneaking them to her)

when you found out you scolded him up and down and told him not to do that

he was 1: shocked that you were scolding him given the fact he outranked you and 2: kinda sad he wasn't allowed to give Dolly more treats

Anyway

Both Ghost and Soap want to get closer to you but weren't exactly sure how to do that??

they share a braincell, your honor

they came up with the idea to offer themselves for takedown practice

was that smart? yes and no

yes: they spent a lot of time with you and Dolly, everyone else could see that there was a bond of some sort blossoming between the three (four) of you

no: Dolly is a menace, and she bites fucking hard

Soap was very confident squaring up to Dolly while wearing the protective glove

up until the moment Dolly chomped down on the glove and he swore he felt the tips of her canines stretch the inner layer

Ghost didn't believe him until it was his turn, and he felt it too

as they watched Dolly wind down from attack mode into semi-normal dog mode the moment you gave her a toy, they respected you even more

they both realize that the closest way to your heart was to gain Dolly's heart

suddenly, Dolly found so many toys whenever you weren't looking

you know it was their doing, because Dolly seemed to like them even more than before

they were more or less subtle, she was not lol

aside from takedown training, you teach them to give her basic commands

Ghost loves to have her climb onto his shoulders

Soap somehow manages to make her bark "I love you"

you only cry a little bit

Soap has to get used to Dolly giving him kisses

he hasn't had a lot of good experiences with dogs, so you and Ghost have to coach him into it

he does offer to go on morning runs with Dolly so you get another hour of sleep

that's how they bond

Ghost is the ultimate Dog Dad™

at home and during down time, he gives Dolly uppies like a toddler, holding her with one arm under her hind legs while her front legs hold onto his shoulders

she looks like a toddler and she's elated to be so tall

he sometimes also holds her like a baby, with her paws up

you used to do that when she was a puppy so she gets flashbacks and whines

cue all the doggy kisses

big cuddle piles between all of you

Dolly always sleeps at your feet, on the field she sleeps helf on top of your torso

one night Soap tried to sneak a cuddle while sleeping on the floor of a safehouse and ended up cuddling Dolly

she was confused but let him anyway

Ghost took photos for blackmail

when you're all at home - usually yours - she sleeps stretched over all three pairs of feet

unless y'all want more privacy then to the kennel she goes

she's offended every time and will bite holes into Soap and Ghost's socks in revenge

Alastor finds em both nude in the garden of Eden, both winking at him and invitin him to join. He throws an entire bush to cover them bc "Why in creation would you do it in the open, do you want to get caught I swear-"

Lucifer cutting down their ideas bc "No you're not putting Nightshade in Adam's food." "But he won't dieee, the Angels wouldn't let that happen." "That should include us!" Lilith and Alastor are still hunched over each other, giggling. Luci still doesn't know how serious they were.

Lilith rubbing a hand down her face bc the two have been arguing for hours all "I just don't see how it could even compare to the majesty of that of a deer-" "It can fly, swim, walk and its ADORABLE-" She was fishing for compliments when she asked them what they thought the most amazing creation in Eden was(she spent an eternity placing those flowers in her hair damnit)

Basically the throuple shares one(1) brain cell, and all of them think they're the ones to have it at all times. (The braincell randomly transfers between them like a game of invisible hot potato)

I can’t get over Chilchuck seeing Marcille like she has anime sparkles around her hair. How long have you stared at it. It’s like with the handsome Senshi where everyone is like "no this looks legit and absolutely like the real one" but her hair is shinier/prettier in the changeling than in the actual her

It drives me crazy that Marcille styles her hair every day for herself but little does she know she’s giving Chilchuck the show of his life, daily arranging his favorite thing aka blonde hair into different unique ornate hairstyles. Not that he cares about the details but ohh my god.

It makes sense that Chil would be the first one to notice her hair being all loose and messy then. He’s bothered by seeing her like this and wants her to tie it up again, and is even more unsetled and shocked when she says she doesn’t want to anymore. Though he also recovers from the shock quicker than Laios and takes charge of the situation. HE NOTICED. HE CARESSSS. IT BUGS HIM

^ That is what you call a character arc, of becoming attached to her hair lmfaoo(more like to Marcille and her habits). Or lying. "Man I sure wish she'd shave her hair I'd be less distracted on the job. Her golden majestic hair is so blinding with how shiny and sparkly it is ugh" /j

They're so funny together in the golden kingdom chapters. First of all, sitting in front of each other at the table? Nice. Second, them being on the same wavelength all throughout lmao.

Them. Sharing the same numerous braincells, nodding together and making good use of it to make good decisions for the party. Valuing their noses

Also can we apreciate that they like, can talk together. Communicate and debate. Even under tougher situations or more sensitive topics. Shit this would have been a good place to put the pages when Marcille was dungeon lord... But they're lined up for part 4 and part 3 is already full with pics... Looking out for each other comp Yes thank you Chil captain obvious (he's trying his best and doesn't want to die let's not be mean c'mon). But like you know with that whole scene of the mad sorcerer attacking, for Chil it must have been the most terrifying thing ever. Ancient magic?? By an elf, targeting them with murderous intent?? With only an elf with also ancient magic to keep them safe attack by attack in the nick of time?? His biggest nightmare. I'm also reminded of when Chil talks with Leed about how "our magician held under the mad sorcerer's attack" all fond and 'I am so relieved I can trust her with my life' and Leed is like "That silly looking elf?!" and Chil was like "Yeah she's silly. At least she's strong tho." I'm getting carried away but yes this scene was relationship-defining in some ways

But they keep each other in check too

She was trying to make conversation and sharing her interests aw Chil come on

They're sooo domestic. "Chil are we there yet" "Marcille I swear to god if you ask me that one more time-". Also second time through the manga that Marcille squishes Chil against the ground/wall.

The whole idea of co-op game is to play together in order to finish the game

But he didn’t hear that : he wants to do everything by himself

And when he can’t do it he would ask some help.

Don’t expect him to be good with synchro-enigma he can’t he is either too quick or too late.

I’m sorry to say that but he might complain about your game (while he was the one who is losing all the heart because he can’t read an enigma properly)

And you see me coming but if can’t resolve an enigma and if you can’t help him he would just stop and won’t play at this game until he feels like he can do it

Oh and he sucks at game like Overcooked you know those kind of things were you’re supposed to work at the same Time as his partners he is either too slow either too quick (but always pretend he isn’t his fault)

Don’t think I mentioned that but he cursed a lot, he complained a lot (to my fellow frenchie he is like Sardoche in real life I don’t make the rule here)

7/10 because it’s funny to see him being angry at a game

Mikasa - skilful

i wanted to say that if you’re not eren she won’t play with you LMAO

But if she is dating you, she would do it because she wants to please you and spend some good quality time with you (she is not a fan of video game but she can tolerate some RPG)

She tends to be quiet while playing and only speaks when she got an idea about how to solve enigma or difficult game who implies being coordinate.

You didn’t have to anything in such mission she will synchronise her game with you don’t question her. I don’t know how she is doing it but she can no matter if you tend to push way to quickly every button or if you’re a slow one. One look from her and she does it

She is really god any games it piss me off

When you struggle at an enigma that you decided to resolve on your own she will either give you tiny tips or just ask you to just stop right now get some tea and try again later when you’ll be more relax

The only problem with her is she wants to help so much that she might do everything on her own especially if one of your mission imply fighting (like kill a boss together to unlock another level) she would quickly get over it without questioning you and you end up getting so many xp and items while you didn’t ever touch anything

She wants to help you so much poor thing ♡

Also if you’re hurt during a game or if you life are pretty low she would stop everything in order to heal you. Even if it’s very cute from her, it piss you off cause now you have to start again because both of you died together.

9/10 she is the best she cooks cookie prepare some tea for you.

Armin - strategic

i love him I really do

But you can’t play with him

He needs to make a plan on every mission, Like sweetie just relax you need to chill a little bit.

Although he tends to overthink everytime He is very good when your goal is to kill a boss, cause he will do two jobs : healing and helping you to kill him. Give him 5 min and he will give you a whole tactics so you can fight the boss easily and earn even more xp. He won’t be afraid to go and heal you too if you’re in need and would never judge you if you’re struggling (even if he guides you during the game) he understand that the game is pretty difficult.

He is good to with enigma like it’s just sound quite easy for him. All he has to do is read the thing and BANG he got the solution how can you do that ?

He will even explain the whole thing so you could also resolve enigma with him

The problem is he is way too slow, if your level implies being coordinate it would take you forever until being able to finish the game. Especially because he is not comfortable with a joystick like they got way too many button and he is not good with coordination so he ends up being confused with the button

When it came to videotgameswhere all of you have to work in coordination, he is always slow. He really tries but he is always way too slow, but he counterbalances his lack of skills with his minds so after you’ll lose because he couldn’t manage to do something within 30s he’ll find a solution to win

It’s really funny to play a cop-game with him on Fortnite cause he’s like « y/n why would you play at such a game ? What’s the point of killing people ? » and he is the one who is throwing a grenade and shoot at the same time so a lot of people can dies with one shot or planing a trap so a lot of people might die at the same time. He is very dangerous when he wants to just saying.

8/10 because sometimes mind isn’t enough and you need skill to win

Jean - Skill and minds

Do not let him play with Eren

I swear don’t do it otherwise they would spend the whole game yelling at each other « you should come quicker Horse face ! » « Oh yeah ? Who’s the one who though that would be wise to attack the boss without getting heal first uh ? Such an idiot bastard »

It’s not comfortable if you’re playing while being on the phone but it’s so funny to see him getting angry because Eren (as usual) run without thinking about a plan

Like Armin he tends to be very good when it came to resolve enigma or find an enemy’s weakness : all he has to do is to let Eren, Connie and Sasha run at first so he could analyze the boss’ behavior (yeah he totally uses them as guinea pig and he doesn’t regret that especially when he hears Eren getting Angry or Connie complaining it’s so funny)

Unlike Armin he is pretty food with a controller so he can actually being very efficient as long as Mikasa isn’t around

He tends to be close to you EVERYTIME and he would even protect you, heal you everytime you got hurt because you protects Connie, Eren or Armin, it’s cute at first but very annoying then because he only focus on you and isn’t into the game anymore. When he turns like that, someone need to tease him about not being good like Eren and he will scream a little bit (how dare you as if he could even be worst than that suicidal bastard) but then he is on it.

Watch him beating the shit out of the boss

BUT when it came to games like overcooked when you have to share task he is bad. Not because he isn’t skillful but because he wants to be the chief so badly and of course Eren thought he could be the leader while everyone knows he isn’t coordinate enough to do that. So most of the time Armin is the leader in such a game

Just give him a task where he has to be quick and he’ll be fine but don’t let him in the same group as Eren, they would argue about who should to this and you’ll end up losing because they argue.

Also if you’re playing something like a RPG with him he gave you SO MANY things like everytime he drop something this is for you, at this point he doesn’t care about his character (he does but he can’t just not give you something)

You didn’t ask it but I’m just say it, if you play animal crossing with him he would spoil the shit out of you, can’t blame him he just wants to help so badly. He’ll text you about his plan, the stuff he got he would even help you with flowers.

8/10 because he tends to flirt with you or argue with Eren so you’ll lose precious time for the mission

Connie & Sasha - Funny

I put them together because 1) they tends to play everytime together 2) because they play the same way 3) they share one braincell (meaning either you’re dating connie or Sasha you’ll have to play together)

One word : a mess

Always questionnaire why we’re doing this or why we shouldn’t do this, this way

BUT they’re like very synchronized, it’s like seeing someone and his reflection (sometimes you’re even jealous cause you can’t do that)

They tends to be very effective when you need to coordinate something

They’re pretty skilled too

But they can’t make a plan even to save their life

The number of life you’ll lose because them and Eren decided to run into the boss’ lair without asking permission

It should be illegal to run that easily anyway

If Connie is really dumb when It came to enigma

Sasha is very good to notice tiny elements that actually was the key to resolve the problem

She tends to be super good to drop every tiny things that was hide behind a tree too a really hunt (but won’t share her things with you if you’re not giving her puppy eyes I’m sorry)

But Connie is your best allies to fight couple of ennemie at the same time, like you were walking and boom you’re surrounded by NPC and he will come to save you.

Connie is a protector

I mean Sasha is too but she more into prevention, safety than protection but if during a game you might be in danger of course she’ll run after you (ask you extra cookies for that)

Dont expect any of them to be good at enigma or games like overcooked, I mean Sasha might spend her whole call luring about foods while Connie might try to do everything on his own since he is incredible (he says it)

If you’re calling one of them during a game, it’s actually more entertaining than the game, I can’t explain they’re just super funny

If you’re playing in a RPG that might have a huge map you’ll definitely lose them at some point during your game, they don’t have any sense of direction and since they can’t read a map (that’s me don’t bully me I’m trying) well they get lost and will send you a picture of their screen so you could help them

6/10 because they’re trying to their best but since they share one brain cell well it’s always more complicated than it should be

Bonus : Marco Bott - Motivating

My cute sweetheart

He is doing is best everytime you call him for a game

He is so good at overcooked than I’m jealous of him

Kinda good with Enigma but he is really good when game imply strategic (he also loves how focused you are and how he could motivate you with his plan)

He doesn’t play at any games that involve war or anything so don’t ask him about a fortnite game he won’t do it

He really love role-play (not put intended lmao), he is actually a good narrator and is so good at at owning xp : his character might not be the greatest when it came to strength but he is very balanced character

Playing with him it’s actually relaxing, he never raise his voice and seemed to always find a way to relax anyone that might be too into it.

Especially good when It came to help Eren and Jean to just shut up and play the game without yelling : don’t ask me how he does that the man is a genius

If he teams up with Armin during game like Among us you loose any chance to win (I mean if you’re the traitor he would never say it but he noticed so does Armin but won’t say anything about it) the man knows everything, and is able to make you confess it’s really fun to watch but bother you when you’re loosing yourself in your explanation

When it’s just you two playing a game together and somehow you struggle to resolve an enigma or a level, don’t worry your boyfriend Marco he is

The best cheerleader in the whole univers fight me on this

Reading Siege and Storm because I hate myself

To begin, I’d like to state that this is my first read-through and I only have vague idea of the plot I’ve gathered from fanfics and tumblr posts.

Long post ahead

Chapter 1

So... at first I was like - huh, this isn’t as bad as I thought, but the moment Alina gets introspective, it all goes to hell.

Like, she’s being physically made sick by not using her powers, which is making her feel useless - like, she says, pretty much verbatim: “The only thing I was ever good at was being a Sun Summoner and I’m not that anymore.”

I’m gonna beat those paragraphs over the head of anyone, who says Alina got a good ending.

I’ve also noticed just how often the like “I pushed that thought away” is used and more often than not, it’s used on thoughts that should probably not be pushed away.

Ah, yes, here he comes, my boy Darkles, being the dramatic bitch he always is. We get it, you’re the hot villain, tempting the good and pure heroine away from being good and pure.

And I’m just now realizing how many times in this chapter has Alina lamented their lack of privacy. We have to ensure the reader doesn’t hink she’s *gasp* sleeping with Mal.

Chapter 2

What?

Alina is tripping balls while being put under by a Heartrender, got it.

Darkling is being the voice of reason, but I’m getting the distinct feeling it won’t last.

Ivan gets one point, because Alina is in fact a traitor, but he’s also being a cunt, so it doesn’t really count.

Alina at Sturmhond: Do you even care about Ravka?

Me at Alina: Do you?

Chapter 3

“Mermaids are not real”. I’m pretty sure they are in the Grishaverse.

My boy Darkles is still making sense, but Alina is dedicated to being against him just for the hell of it, it seems.

Did this bitch just throw a tantrum, because he told her, what we can assume is the truth? Okay. Like, I get that she’s at best 18, but still. Not exactly the type of protagonist whose head I like being in.

And in that moment, dozens of smut fics were born.

Chapter 4

Wow, that was quick.

Aaand. What had just happened?

Chapter 5

Sturmhond is a funny bitch, I’ll give him that.

And this entire conversation, it seems like Mal’s entire purpose is to stand behind Alina threateningly and repeat what she said, lol.

I’d like to remind Alina (and LB) that a king in an absolutist monarchy (which is what Ravka appears to be) is very much a tyrant. Don’t make it sound like Ravka didn’t have a tyrant before. And at the very least, my boy Darkles seems pretty competent.

A man calling himself a Storm Dog likes dogs. No shit.

Chapter 6

I hate Mal. Dude, this is your girlfriend, maybe like... listen to her? Don’t bludgeon her with the one other guy she was kinda-sorta with, when you are a well known manwhore?

I don’t know man, I don’t like him.

Everyone: You can’t have more than one amplifier, it’s dangerous.

Alina: Haha, sparkles go brrrr

Chapter 7

In other news, pirates are funny.

Holy shit, they have a plane.

That was... a lot. And we’re crossing the Fold again, yay.

Chapter 8

You feel bad for the Volcra but not for the people you’ve left for dead in the Fold last time? Okay.

Baby Volcra. Am I supposed to say “ew” or “aww”? If I tried doing both at the same time, it would probably sound like one.

Jesus fucking Christ this book is a ride.

Did Alina really just have an “oh no, he’s hot?” moment? *sighs*

Puppy boy has a title longer than Daenerys, jesus.

Alina, my dear, you could have waited for a bit before doing that. There’s like thirty soldier with guns around you and you’ve just punched a prince.

Chapter 9

For once, I completely agree with him. I know you two have lost your one shared braincell on that first crossing of the Fold but still, that was very dumb of you, Alina.

I’m starting to get why people were calling Nikolai “Darkling light”. Definitelly seems appropriate.

Mal, calm the fuck down, that was the least romantic proposal I’ve ever heard and you know it.

You two didn’t even let Alina get a word in for the last page. What right do you have to her, Mal, huh? Nikolai is making sense and you’re being an idiot.

What’s your deal Mal? What the fuck do you want?

And why in the hell are you the endgame love interest?

That’s an awful lot of guilt-tripping you’re doing there, Mal. No need to be pissy about it.

Chapter 10

The bones thing is definitelly yikes.

Saints, Mal, are you on your period or something? Alina doesn’t belong to you. Alina can make her own choices. Get a grip.

“You think I’m like the Darkling?” Yes. The Darkling isn’t all bad. You’re at war. No need to get your panties in a twist over a few fingers.

Oh, look, Alina has a cult now, nice.

Chapter 11

Your “dad” is a rapist, Nikolai. Quite possibly a pedo. He got exactly what he deserved.

I’d go for the second option. Especially after that stunt. Jesus, you could have asked her beforehand.

At least Darkles had the decency to make out with her in private.

Also like... why is every single person in this series so far an asshole?

Chapter 12

We meet the King again, unfortunately.

Alina gets Darkles’s old job.

This should be a total disaster, but let’s see where it goes anyway.

Chapter 13

Alina’s nuts, yay.

(I know they have a Force-bond-thingy. I also know they did it before Reylo did.)

Chapter 14

Oh boy, Alina’s not doing as bad as I thought.

For the 100th time in this book, I wish I had Nikolai’s confidence. Though it is getting a bit too much.

Puppy boy is dropping some truth bombs. Nice.

But he doesn’t realize that my boy Darkles has very good reasons to not align with Fjerdans - a) they think he’s a demon and b) they want Grisha dead.

I’m not gonna say she was, but like... the monarchy is very much corrupt.

Oh, boy, Baghra. This one’s gonna go well.

Yep, Baghra’s as pleasant as ever.

So... Baghra’s plan in book 1 really had been to just have Alina run away and hope for the best? Jesus Christ, lady. I’m not saying she deserved to have her eyes taken away, but she is definitelly a trash person and I’m not surprised her son turned out the way he did.

Also, I’m fairly certain that Baghra is literally slowly killing herself - that the reason she looks so old and frail is because she’s started to supress her power and it’s literally killing her, because, you know, she’s bonkers old.

Chapter 15

Nerd Alina > Self-pitying Alina

Also, I’m just saying, Alina comments on Zoya being attractive a whole lot - I get that she’s meant to be insecure, but I’m interpreting it as her being gay, because I need some happiness in my life, okay?

Just kill the sleazy old Rasputin-wanna-be. There’s plenty of them to go around in this series.

Chapter 16

Vasily takes after his father in creep factor.

Why not the Darkling being courted by a horny prince? Be a bit creative.

Chapter 17

Nikolai has big ADHD energy and I love him for it. Fits right in with the heavily autism-coded Fabricators.

*sighs at heteronormativity again*

Date night with Mal. This is gonna be a disaster, isn’t it?

Chapter 18

Banter between Alina and Nikolai? I’m all for it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a Darklina trash, but like... Nikolai is fun. I could see him and Alina having an arranged political marriage and ending up falling in love years into it, that’s all I’m saying.

Chapter 20

Just let this one go, Alina, please. You two are not working out. Please, end it with him. You’ll both probably be happier. (I’m saying this with the full knowledge that Malina is endgame).

Jesus Alina, get your shit together. You have every right to be mad, because you two didn’t actually break up, you didn’t kiss Nikolai and also, I don’t like Mal.

Sooo... when is Alina going to realize her manchild of a boyfriend is an amplifier?

Kun

Kun, similarly to Taeil, would most likely fall for someone very mature and responsible. My dude is already the father of 7 children (I'm counting Chenle); the last thing he needs is one more.

Very closely related to that is what I think would be another of his priorities: whoever they are and however they are, they've got to get along with the rest of WayV—but it's even better if NCT as a whole likes them. As much as he'd love his s/o, I can't say that if it ever came down to choosing them or his members, he'd pick his partner. The guys are his family and a BIG part of his work, which takes over most of his life, so there's really no escaping it. Befriend the boys or bye-bye.

Once the boys approve of his crush, I think his interest would grow if they've got many pastimes or hobbies. I mean, c'mon, Kun can fly a plane on the same day as he sings his lungs out on Inkigayo and then goes home to cook some fancy-ass dinner. He doesn't need them to be on his level, though. Small, silly passions are the ones the loves the most. He'd listen to them talk about ANYTHING for like 3 hours straight, even if it's why their favourite type of constrictors are pythons. No, that is totally not about me. Shut up.

Ten

Y'all remember that one WayV live where a fan asks for dating advice? Yes, I'm taking a lot from it. If you've seen it, it's not hard to come to the conclusion that Ten likes honest and straightforward people. He values himself way too much to lose his time with someone who's playing games, making him chase them and things of the sort. It's simple, really. If you like him, great, he'll give you the stars if you ask, but if not, great too, he'll live.

I can see that either he'd get with a person as extra as him or someone on Jaehyun's level of unbothered. Not many options here. You either become his partner in crime and bring hell on Earth with him, or you accept it well. Just don't be judgy or ask him to tone it down. That's the way he is, so why should he, you know?

Speaking of that, AUTHENTICITY, FOLKS. Being authentic is a big deal here. Ten is very true to himself and is always encouraging us to be, as well. Anyone he even considers dating will be nothing short of unique and unapologetically so. Being confident is just so attractive for him, I can't even—and yes, even if they're a bit strange. His partner might be a weirdo, but they're HIS weirdo, and he'll fight anyone that disagrees.

Winwin

I think while other members might fall for someone as bright as the Sun, he'd love a person as calming as the Moon. You know that aesthetic? The gentleness, introspectiveness, wisdom, the tranquillity... yeah, fam. That's it for my boy Winwin.

Allow me to elaborate: all of those traits would make him very comfortable with the thought of being in a relationship. I can see Sicheng as having some trust issues, aside from not being very touchy or loud when it comes to affection. Having that peaceful aura would really help him grow closer to his partner because he knows they'll be patient with him and respect his boundaries.

He wouldn't mind if they're more on the talkative side, but he needs a person that can appreciate silence too. Something I see a lot for him is having loud thoughts that are hard to get rid of. Dating him would mean having nights when he's tired out of his mind and just doesn't have the strength to talk. His partner will have to understand that and stay by his side until his inner world is a bit less chaotic, just holding his hand and letting him take his time. I think allowing him to have his space and peace in the relationship is how he feels loved the most.

Lucas

Yukhei would not mind one bit having a more childish, carefree partner. He's a big baby, c'mon, being around another baby would probably make him the happiest. I also think he meant it when he said he doesn't care about age (that one V-Live from years ago). Younger than him, older than him, my boy doesn't give a fuck. He really just wants someone to be silly with and smile a lot.

Having said that, I really can't see anything pushing him away from getting to know someone. Lucas is very lighthearted and loves people, so I think he'd have his fun getting to know anyone—and tbh, he would be hooked if they're a bit mysterious too. His interest would probably get the best of him, and he wouldn't stop whining about it to the other boys until he learns something about them. Very random, yes, but I can 100% see him complaining to WayV during dinner, LMAO.

One thing he wouldn't enjoy too much? A partner that can't take compliments or doesn't like being spoiled. Yukhei's affection is LOUD, and he really thrives off praise, cute pet names and giving gifts. He'd most likely be heartbroken if he finds out they don't like any of it, almost like they're shutting down his love itself.

Xiaojun

Ah, my dear Dejun. The middle child of WayV. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, just look up "Xiaojun's middle child problems" on YouTube and go from there. If you don't feel like it, lemme break it down to you: he's an angel, but the boys mostly accuse him of everything and anything and will throw him under the bus for fun. It's very entertaining. At this point, my boy doesn't have a fight or flight response; more like fight or fight (shhhh, I'll get into the headcanon now).

I think since he's used to being so defensive around his members, he'd appreciate a person that makes him feel both understood and safe. They'd share similar tastes (mint-choco ice cream, cough cough) and interests, but they'd most likely have a fiercer presence than him. Kind of intimidating, tbh. Very nice. I can definitely see that his partner wouldn't let WayV's chaos get to them and would, undoubtedly, be as much of a savage as the boys are.

He'd probably like it if they (playfully) fight his members and defend him from whatever-the-fuck they're blaming him for atm, so, yes, a bit protective. I think Dejun would simply find it cute and admirable, you know, their braveness. Would 10/10 brag about it when they're alone.

Hendery

Kunhang is the ultimate crackhead, but a sweet one at that. Being a Libra (yes, I'm going there), I think he can actually be very sentimental around the people he trusts the most and needs to feel like he belongs. That leads me to point 1: his partner would also be a crackhead. That's REALLY not up for debate. Kunhang wouldn't even think about dating someone that's not as much of a weirdo as he is.

Point 2: he probably wouldn't like to be with a person that's too vain or superficial, whether that goes towards others or themselves. He's said before he hopes the fans can see him as more than a pretty face, and I can imagine that goes for his s/o too. He'd simply not feel connected to someone who's always dolled up or dressed to impress. Would definitely prefer a more casual style and personality.

I guess point 3 is kinda random, but it makes sense to me, so here we go. Kunhang would really like someone who's just in love with human nature. For him, it's the tiniest things: the way they laugh, how they drink their tea, which side of the bed they'd prefer... it all adds up to a person, and I think he'd feel over the Moon to be with someone who sees the same things as him. Comment on a small habit of his he thinks no one else would notice, and I swear he's yours.

Yangyang

He is a spoiled brat, and I say that with all the love in the world. We've all heard WayV say how he basically tries to exploit them (mainly Hyung-line) at every opportunity he gets, which makes me think Yangyang might be a bit lazy, yes, but also that he'd do great with someone whose love language is acts of service.

Now, I'm not saying he'd tyrannize them or anything of the sort, but things would work very well if that is how his partner expresses their love. They wouldn't mind fetching him a drink, cooking something—or ordering out, if they can't... you know, stuff like that. It would make him feel very validated and cared for. I see that, for him, that's the ultimate type of devotion.

The last thing I can imagine he'd consider is whether they can take his teasing and antics or not. Yangyang's affection is really not shown through super heartfelt, sugar-coated moments; quite the opposite, actually. If he feels happy around someone, his way of showing it is that playful banter, insults and teasing, you know? He really wouldn't know what to do if the person takes everything he says to heart, like—Yangyang.exe has stopped working. So, yeah. A thick skin and elastic heart are a great combo for my boy.

Bonus: he'd lowkey cry if they get super hyped with his work as an artist. PLEASE praise his dancing, rapping, visuals and all. I don't think many people do, and even if he denies it, the compliments make him all fuzzy inside. #appreciateyangyang2021, he's underrated af.

(Just to be clear, the story takes place on 2nd April 2019 assuming they got back to the umbrella academy and not the sparrow academy because fuck the cliffhanger)

“Have you got the money?”

“Sorry?”

“The rent.”

“I—I ... I don’t—I don’t have it yet.”

“Sorry but you’ve been here for three free weeks.”

“Miss, please, please just give me another week I swear my book’s just—”

“Miss just—”

“I’m going broke too and I need the money! But since you’re broke too one of us has to have money right? Now go back up and pack your shit.”

“I’ll be homeless.”

“I’m giving you till five.”

Five. It hit you like a swing of a sledgehammer to the back of your head.

No, you thought. That would be so pathetic.

But what other choice did you have?

You rushed up the stairs, grabbing your phone and finding the word ‘Five’ in your contacts. You pressed on it, calling it immediately.

At the fifth ring, he finally picked up.

“What?” He hissed.

“Wow, you sound overjoyed to hear from me,” You rolled your eyes, soon realizing now was not the time for the petty insults.

“Mhmm,” He hummed, seeming busy with something else. “What do you want?”

This wasn’t the first time you called Five since you met him, probably about the third, the other two times were just because you were bored.

It had just come to you that he always seems so uninterested in your company whenever you began conversations, but he would come around soon enough. You both wouldn’t stop at the scornful insults though.

“Can I ... crash at your place?” You struggled to say, biting your lip and closing your eyes right after.

“You were already crazy enough to even want to keep in touch but this just breaks the mental asylum records by a landslide,” Five comments. “What next, you’re gonna come up and tell me you have powers or something?”

You couldn’t help but smile at his remarks. You always told yourself, ‘damn I hate it when he does that,’ but you always knew that was a lie.

“Well? This is a joke to just keep me listening, right?” Five asked. “What do you really want, Y/N?”

“Sorry to disappoint you today mister masochist, but it turns out that I do infact need a place to crash,” You repeated, hoping you wouldn’t have to explain.

But of course, that’s if you lived in world where everyone was a naive nobody.

“What’s wrong with your place?”

“I’m fucking broke, alright?” You blurted in frustration. “I’m not from here. I’ve got no one else. I had to pay the landlady from the money I could scrape out of my pants pockets and I thought my book would sell by now, but I guess I was getting ahead of myself.”

You could feel Five huffing in a slight chuckle.

“Not from here, so no family or friends to turn to for shelter ... oh helpless, helpless Y/N ... ” He narrated, clearly amused at your desperate situation.

“Well?”

“It would really be amusing to see you on the streets, wouldn’t it?”

“For you, definitely.”

There was silence for a while.

“You know what, fine. I’m not as cruel as you think I am.”

“The fact that you had to point that out means you probably are,” At this point, talking to Five always just triggered the instinct of throwing any insult you could at him.

“You wanna sleep on the streets?”

“No.”

“Then shut up and start packing.”

“Not even your address?”

“I’ll text you.”

“Okay, bye.”

And with that, he hung up, and you threw your phone on the bed and began packing.

When you turned up at the place, you thought you read the address wrong, you read it over at least seven times now. You looked up at the tall building. It was a mansion.

It made you wonder if Five really was just some regularly school boy.

You got to the front door, knocking at the wood. You found yourself admiring the patterns on it for a short while before the door finally opened.

“Can I help you?” A taller black woman with frizzy hair asked as you found youself puzzled.

“I—well, I’m ... ” You couldn’t find the words to say. You couldn’t say you were here to see Five because if anything you just needed a place to stay. “I just ... I wanted to see Five.”

“Five!” The woman calls. “Some girl is here for you!”

You heard the faint sound of some footsteps walking rather hastily down the stairs, finally seeing Five in the distance coming closer now.

“I was expecting someone, come in,” he said monotonously, barely making any eye contact with you.

You tugged your small luggage inside the building after you and got a good look at the foyer. There was a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling and the entire place just seemed so grand, giving off the 1990’s vibe but if they were dirty rich.

“F-Five how old are you?”

“Well ... ” his head slowly leaned to the side as he squinted in thought. “It’s complicated.”

“How is that complicated?”

“Okay if I said I was like twenty two would that satisfy you?”

“Well if that’s a lie then obviously not,” You follow him as he began walking up the stairs, dragging along your burden of a luggage.

“Then I guess you’ll just have to be unsatisfied for a while,” He turns to a corridor and you finally meet his plain room.

The walls reminded you of his eyes, the ones you fell for the time you met him. You had to admit, those were a true beauty.

Too bad its owner’s a real pain in the ass, you thought, smirking to yourself.

“What are you waiting for?”

“Do you guys just not have a spare room in this big-ass mansion?”

Five’s eyebrows furrowed as he looked at the ground. “Well, not one I’d want you to use.”

“Why not?”

“My dad’s. He’s dead.”

“Oh ... I—”

“Nope, don’t apologize,” Five shook his head. “Just put down your stuff. Crashing here is the best option you’ve got anyway, I’ll get an air mattress.”

You watch as Five exits the room, another stranger standing by the door, looking surprised and confused at the same time.

“Why?”

“Nothing I just ... I’ve never seen him so ... kind,” he finishes, soon entering the room. “Sorry, I don’t believe we’ve met. Klaus.”

“Y/N,” You shake the hand he held up, soon letting go as Five reappears again, seemingly glaring at Klaus before he left.

“Who are the other people in your house?” You ask before Five could start inflating the mattress.

“Does it matter?” He asks back, seeming to have no intention of letting you know about what was going on.

“Well, you’ll have to make some sense out of this,” You huffed, still slightly confused as to how peculiar Five has been. “If you’re not going to tell me then at least give me your age.”

Five grabs an air-pump and starts inflating the mattress, clearly ignoring your plea. You offer your help, and he let you but after discovering how incredibly slow you were going, he took back the pump and resumed doing it himself.

“Do you like reading books? I wrote one.”

“I really wished I had said ‘I don’t remember asking’, but unfortunately for me, I wanna know how the hell you ended up alone penniless where you don’t belong,” Five finished pumping air into the mattress, which you immediately say on after he left to put the pump back.

“Well?” His eyebrow raised, then returned.

“I was an orphan my whole life, it was abusive and I’ve had enough,” You huffed, frowning up at him. “That’s all I feel like saying.”

“An orphan ... when’s your birthday?”

“Tell me your age and I’ll tell you my birthday.”

Five looked to the side, biting his lip. He nodded, looking at the ground.

“How old do I look to you?” He cocked his head up as your eyes met yet again.

“Like ... eighteen?”

“There you have it.”

“I got it right?”

“Yes now it’s getting late and we’re going out to get dinner soon. You coming?”

“I don’t have any money left.”

“Five, let’s go,” A man appears at Five’s door, soon noticing your presence. “Who’s the girl?”

“Homeless person I decided to help,” Five replied coldly. “Poor Y/N doesn’t have the money for dinner too.”

“I’m not—”

“Y/N?” One of his eyebrows were raised, now facing you. “Don’t take the bitch too seriously he’s always like this.”

“I suggest you do the same for him, sadly Diego doesn’t have any spare braincells left, he shares one with our gorilla brother,” Five reviled, Diego turning back to glare at Five.

“I think I’ll skip dinner; I don’t want to bother the four of you about it.”

“The fou—Five! Does she not know about ...?”

“Do you really think I’d willingly embarrass myself by introducing the rest of our braindead siblings to her?” Five rolled his eyes.

“Up your ass, Five,” Diego digressed, soon smiling at you as he turned to face you again. “There’s actually seven—no six of us here. One of us died.”

“Your dad, right?”

“I—well n-no, he’s not really part of the picture ... ”

“My dad had seven of us. One of us died. That’s the end of it,” Five concluded, or at least tried to.

“My name’s Diego, that’s Five, and the tall black woman’s Allison, the short one’s Vanya, the bigger looking guy is Luther and the high one is Klaus.”

“Didn’t Klaus quit drugs?”

“Well, I don’t know. Drugs or no drugs he always kinda seemed high to me,” Diego shrugged.

...

After Five treated you to dinner, you washed up and Vanya let you use her pajamas for the night. Five got you an extra blanket and pillow too.

In the middle of the night, you had a nightmare. Your neck and face was sweaty and you were panting heavily. Five woke up to his room shaking, a few small things falling off the side of his table. He glanced down at you, trying to shake you awake.

“Y/N! Y/N!”

“No ... please ... I can e-explain ... ”

“Y/N you’re dreaming! Wake up!” Five fell off his bed as the shaking got worse, and ended up on top of you.

“Ow!” You jolted awake and the room’s rumbling had finally stopped.

He scrambled to the edge of the mattress, clutching the sides of your shoulders as concern had smeared his face.

“Y/N are you okay?”

Your face was already stained with tears when you woke up, but you couldn’t help damping your face again as you bury it in your hands, sobbing.

“Y/N ... talk to me.”

“No!” You cried, lowering your head to the mattress. It was a horrible nightmare. “I ... I don’t want to.”

“Y/N ... Y/N ... listen to me. Please, look at me.”

When you heard this, you stopped, as he asked. But it was only because you couldn’t believe what he was saying, or at least, the tone he was saying it in.

His eyebrows arched upwards as your eyes met once more. Those calm, sea blue eyes told wonders to you without saying anything at all. It made you calmer.

“You were dreaming. It was just a nightmare, it’s okay. You’re okay. Do you hear me?”

You felt his hand on yours. It wasn’t so obvious, though, because it was just the tip of his fingers touching yours.

But somehow, you still felt the tears rolling down your cheek.

“I’m ... I’m so sorry, Five,” you started tearing up again.

“Here.”

He held out his arms slightly, and you gladly wrapped your arms around his neck, your back now warm from his touch too. You buried your face in between his neck and your arm, while he places his chin on your shoulder.

You felt him inhale and exhale, and somehow the feeling of his chest, his shoulders rising, it made you feel okay. It made you feel at home.

“Are you okay now ‘cause I’d really like to go back to sleep,” five broke the silence after several seconds of feeling each others’ warmth.

You nod, pulling away from the hug. “It’s okay if you say no, but I ... I really don’t want to sleep alone. I mean, on this mattress. It’s so big, it feels so lonely.”

Five blinked for a few seconds before nodding, standing up to grab his pillow and blanket.

“I’ll face the other way,” He said, pullling his blanket over him as he laid beside you. “But I’m here. Just remember that.”

You nod, resting your head on your own pillow, feeling yourself ease back into the drowsy feeling of sleep.

“Actually, Y/N ... how did you make the room vibrate?”

Childe was confused.

He was simply confused.

How in the world did it happen? They were going so strong. It was so good and fun and... amazing.

He wanted to blame the alcohol but no one made him drink as much as he did on that dreadful night of Lumine’s birthday. And yeah, he probably wouldn’t confess if not for the alcohol making him forget anything that wasn’t Kaeya and how beautiful he looked. He was just too weak and even though, in hindsight, it was a horrible decision, a small part of him was actually happy he got it out of his chest.

What was definitely the biggest mistake, was running away next morning and now after all this time he knew that for sure. Because if he stayed they’d have to talk and he’d know if Kaeya even remembered the confession. He figured that was the case and that Kaeya wasn’t feeling good about it because they did not talk since then and Childe didn’t even want to think of another reason if he was wrong.

But still if Kaeya did know, there were a few details that just didn’t add up for Childe because... was Kaeya truly that disgusted by his feelings that he had to basically cut him out of his life? Yeah, they were still in the same chat with everyone and they did talk but it seemed like it was never to each other and that fact made Childe really sad.

The only reason why Childe would even think Kaeya was disgusted by the confession was because of what was told to him. Childe wasn’t really proud of himself for doing so but he wasn’t in Mondstadt and because of that he couldn't possibly know what was going on with Kaeya so he did the only thing he could think of in the moment and asked for help. Not Zhongli, not Lumine, not even seemingly the closest one to Kaeya - Diluc. Some of the Fatui members were heading out to Mondstadt and as soon as Childe heard about it he knew it was the perfect opportunity. So he innocently asked them to pay some special attention to Kaeya and how he looks and behaves if they were to see him.

And they did.

But now Childe wished they maybe didn’t because it certainly did not help to ease his mind. It was said to him that one night Kaeya was seen leaving Diluc’s tavern with a smile on his face. His eyes were a little red but they just assumed it was probably from drinking. Hs stopped and leaned his back against the wall for a second before chuckling, hiding something in his pocket and then walking away.

It made no sense to Childe. He was out here agonizing about what he has done and Kaeya was completely fine? But then why didn’t he reach out to him? It’s not like Childe was the one to always initiate the contact. From what impression Kaeya always gave him he felt like they were both equally eager to meet or text throughout the day. Also there were definitely days when Childe felt like Kaeya was almost desperate to have some sort of contact with him and if Childe was being honest, he loved that. It made him feel so good inside.

So yeah, the only conclusion Childe was able to form after hearing what they told him was that Kaeya indeed remembered Childe’s confession and was so uncomfortable and disgusted by it that the only option for him was to never speak to Childe ever again.

Some small part of him knew it was unlikely. How could Kaeya be disgusted when they were having sex for months now? But Childe was quick to silence that part of himself with thinking that having sex with someone and actually loving them are two different things. And they don’t always go hand in hand. Sex is just sex and Kaeya could’ve picked anyone in his place with how beautiful he was both in looks and personality-wise. Childe probably wasn’t special and it was as simple as that.

He knew every single one of his friends would say it was just plain dumb and foolish but he clearly wasn’t thinking straight in that moment. How could he when he managed to break his own heart by thinking all of this?

Eventually, he did talk to Zhongli - mainly because he was his closest friend in Liyue and probably the closest friend in general, but also because he knew Zhongli was always in some way in contact with Diluc since they were practically married without the actual marriage part, and maybe he’d be able to get some more information about Kaeya.

Anything that could help mend his braking heart just a little.

Zhongli didn’t say anything and Childe did see that coming. He didn’t want to put himself or Diluc between them and Childe understood it. It wasn’t something someone else could solve. He knew if he wanted answers he had to talk to Kaeya and ask the questions. But it was too hard and the answers he was sure he’d get were too hurtful to even think about so he just smiled, fighting back the tears and thanked Zhongli for his time, assuring him he’s gonna be fine.

He probably won’t but it’s not something he should burden others with. It was his mess. He was the one to ruin everything before it even began and he was the only one who could do something about it. He didn’t even want to use the word “fix” because he already convinced himself there was no way to fix it. Yeah, maybe he did gave up but what else was he supposed to do when the only person he loved was disgusted by his love? He felt like even apologizing wouldn’t be good enough because he wasn’t good enough in the end. But Kaeya deserved at least that.

So now he just needed some time to think and then apologize and ultimately leave Kaeya alone.

I’ll probably ask for each dorm. But what do you think is some defining moments or traits that each boy needs to really feel like they trust someone? Are they just a naturally trusting person? Maybe they’re really hard to get trust from?

HEARTSLABYUL

. Riddle is more trusting with people who follow the rules and if they are hardworking, its obvious but he really needs to be sure he can count of them. He has a lot of presure being a dorm leader so this little reasurance helps him a lot. That being say he does give chances at people in general. Riddle doesn’t question them if someone says anything to him, he will believe it unless their action are contradictory. Yes, even if some are « magnet trouble » or « chaotic » he will give them a chance but will most likely keep an eye on them so he knows when he can help to make things right.

. Ace would like to be aware of some people but he will end up trusting them without knowing it. Because of that he end up in many trouble, but its not his fault. I mean he meets this people, like, an hour ago, and they liked the same card game has he does so... They can be trusted right ?

. Deuce is ready to fully trust people who doesn’t mind his shortcoming or those with a sense of justice. Beacause of that he trust a little easly. This boy wants to make friend ! And nothing touches him more than one who can fight by his side against a gang inside of a warehouse during sunset or does share his hobbies like magical wheel. All of that is enought for him.

. Cater is one of the most trusting of Heartslabyul but that doesn’t mean he is naive like the first year one braincell duo. He likes to talk and mingle with people, and that makes him sharp enough to see through people and knows if they think bad of him or if they are lying. Not that he shows them if that even happened.

. Trey is a little more complicated on his end. He is used to be rely on ,like the big borther of the dorm. So if people trust him to help them then he trust them. Trey expect people not to turn on him, so unless he feels threaten by others, he will trust anyone. Be aware if you crush his trust you can't get it back.

SAVANACLAW

. Leona is one of the hardest to earn trust from. He puts on wall around himself and his pride won’t let him open up easily. Thanks to his instinct, he knows who are hostile toward him. He is most likely to trust those who are honest and strait-forward, follow him but aren’t afraid to speak their mind either. Those who fight for their belief too. It’ll take a long time and when he does give his trust you won’t be able to tell since he won’t bother to change his attitude.

. Ruggie because of the harsh ambiance he grew up doesn’t gives his trust to anyone either. He can’t help but to be on his guard no matter what. But when he does give his trust, you can be sure he will be the most loyal. I feel like he will trust more selfless and helpful people even if it might takes more time (less than Leona tho).

. Jack acts like a tsundere, and in the end he is still a tsundere, so he is the easiest to earn trust from in Savanaclaw. Like Deuce he gives his trust to honest people with a strong sense of justice (even more). If you managed to earn his respect it helps too.

OCTAVINELLE

. Because of his childhood and because he is a business man, Azul knows not to give his trust blindly. He will most likely trust someone if they are earnest with him and efficient. Also if they help or defend him, without expecting anything from him might help. He’ll be surprised in a good way. Of course mockery and bad mouthing is a big no, and once he learns of it (rather quickly might I add), it’ll be even harder to get his trust back.

. Jade isn’t an easy ont to earn trust from either. The absolute condition is not to harm Azul and Floyd in any way. If they don’t like you for whatever reason then it’s an “out”. If they amused him by making his sadistic sense tingle or if the are somehow useful (to Azul) then it might help earn his trust.

. Floyd is a real wild card but will trust other easier than hos dorm-mates the other two. Of course the more interesting people are to him, the easier it’ll be able to earn his trust but thanks (?) to his attitude he doesn’t expect people to harm him, or those he loves in the first way. If they did, well he’ll get angry, wipe them out and that’s it.

POMEFIORE

. Vil will trust hard working and proud people, those who take care of themselves and pay attention to details (bonus if they follow his standard). He is picky about who he trust but never give up on your beliefs, it should help make him impressed.

. For Epel, you need to “not judge a book by it’s cover” , no “cliches”. Take the time to learn about him, let him take his time to learn about you and the rest will naturally follow. Accept him for who he is not what he looks.

. Rook would more likely trust anyone as long as he has time to stalk gather data about people. If they are curious and doesn’t mind helping him learn about anything -even the most silly thing- then it would make happy our local animal lover and Disney princess.

IGNIHYDE

. Idia would trust those who are not forceful. Also you need to be trust by Ortho otherwise it’ll be really difficult (he loves his brother so much). Pretty sure that if you are a cat lover or an actual cat or if you encourage/reassure him it’ll help ! Social interaction is hard so please give him some time to feel comfortable enough with you (its a big mood).

. Ortho is naturally trusting ! Because sunshine boi loves his brother if you tell him you want to befriend him, not only he will help, moreover he’ll be moved. Help him with his thirst of knowledge should be enough too.

DIASOMNIA

. Lilia is old, and thanks to that (?) knows when to trust people or not. He has a pretty good radar for knowing if a person has good intend or not. Earn his respect and he will be at your side for has long as you live . Otherwise as a parent he would be proud if someone wants to be genuine friend with Malleus or Silver so I guess it helps (of course maybe not right away but give him some time)?

. He is old as well but he is a baby in fae years (?) so it would be easier for Malleus to trust someone if they want to befriend him. Not as Malleus Draconia the next King of the Valley of Thorns, Top 5 mage in the world, but just him. The one called Malleus. See past all those titles and rumours, take the time to learn about each other and the rest is history. He is a little more trusting that Lillia, again be aware he is not naive by any means, he know humans are weird foe. Bonus point if they like gargole, then that make them people of culture.

. It will take Sebek the longest time to trust anyone out of the four in Diasomnia but he would trust people who likes/love/worship Malleus. However if they are human it will take much longer. He might not look like it but because his fanboy spirit is stronger than anything, he can’t help but to befriend them at the end. Start talking (good of course) of Malleus and it should do the trick.

. Silver is a little more naive than the rest. In his mind it goes like this : "Since both of my dads are here it should be fine". The keyword here is "should be". But more seriously it'll be easier for him to trust someone with a calm and relaxing aura. Don't be loud (like Sebek), and help him sleep more comfortably if you pass by him, napping on the ground. He is a ball of fluff, treat him like the cinnamon he is.

SCARABIA

. Jamil is not a trusting person. He will do a background check if he has to. He needs to look after Kalim, so putting his trust in someone would be extremely complicated. It'll be easier for him to trust helpful and productive people, or someone who can help him relax. Jamil doesn’t need another person to make his blood presure rise (he has Kalim for that). When he sees that he can count on them, how efficient they are, he knows he can rely on them.

1 ) I wish, I really wish Kalim would be more aware of people. He is the most trustful sunshine ever existed and distrust someone has never crossed his mind. Does he even know what distrust is ? He is so pure, he just wants to see the good in everyone not that it’s a bad thing but I swear to god Kalim please you are making me worry.

2) Seeing Kalim like that you could say : " This boy will trust you when he sees you ! Look at him being friendly with everyone !". Sorry to tell you that but no. He doesn’t trust easily. Being trusting and being friendly are two different things. The only person he trust is Jamil and adding another person to his personal circle takes a lot of time. Him being wary of people come from somwhere right ? ( and him being a expert for judging poison too)
