Pregnant Reader Headcannons Part 1 (Izuku, Bakugo, Denki, Kiri, and Sero)

Midoriya Izuku (202 words):

The sweetest husband.

He would literally do anything for you.

He rubs your feet, shoulders, back, and belly bump every day before work.

He'll make you breakfast and cuddle you as he spoils you with affection.

He's almost always blushing ever so slightly.

He just can't believe that he was able to get you.. you're just so.. perfect..

He's not really protective, but he will stand up if someone takes it too far.

He gets paternity leave around five months into your pregnancy.

He's literally with you every step of the way, doing his very best to support you however he possibly can.

You are absolutely spoiled.. and you totally love it.

He holds your belly bump for about half an hour every morning and night.. just trying to make your day a little bit better.

He'll give your feet a quick peck before putting your socks on.

Then comes the shoes..

And the ties..

And then he helps you up.

He's seriously so freaking selfless.

Oh, and he will not tolerate Bakugo's agressiveness towards you.

They almost got into a fight once...

Anyway I think he deserves to be at the very least in the top five.

Bakugo Katsuki (508 words):

You thought he was protective before?

Well you're in for it.

This man refuses to let you go anywhere without him.

When he's home, he won't even let you go to the bathroom without him..

He's still acts tsundere, but less extreme. If you tease him he'll deny it, unless you're having a bad day.. than he'll let you tease him all you want and he'll admit to his simp behavior.

When the two of you are outside he has an arm around your shoulders, his hand resting on your baby bump.

If anyone looks at you for too long he'll growl.. litteraly..

And if they still don't take the hint? He'll growl louder. Especially if it's a man.

He isn't afraid to get physical. Even if it ruins his reputation, if he sees someone flirting with you, or someone just gives him creepy vibes he'll pull you behind him, his chest puffing out as he glares, snarling.

His arm is around your waist, pulling you against him.

If the person still won't back down he'll get into their face, and he isn't afraid to hit them.. or straight up fight them if they hit back.

He is seriously a simp for you.

He'll rub your feet, back, shoulders, and belly bump.

He'll put on your socks shoes, and tie them. He'll get you snacks at 2 am and he'll cook for you whenever you'd like.

As soon as you started having difficulty with mudane tasks he took paternity leave.

He didn't ask his higher ups, he told them.

He was glued to your side almost 24/7.

Your wish was his demand, and your comfort was his ultimate desire.

He cooked every meal for you, making sure that you got all the nutrients you and baby/babies needed.

His hand was resting on your bump all the time.

He loved every inch of you even more than before, almost reminding you how goregous you are.

He's a whole lot stricter with your health. He makes sure that you eat enough, drink enough, and get enough sleep.

His exercise routine turned into a short walk with you in the mornings or evenings, holding you against him as he glared at whoever dared look at your beauty.

He's with you every step of the way, and doesn't say or do anything when you scream at him.

He handles your mood swings like a pro.

Sad?

Nothing cuddles, a movie, and your comfort food can't fix.

Angry or frustrated?

He'll be your punching bag.. as long as you cuddle him afterwards.. he gets insecure too, so don't wait too long.

Insecure?

He'll spend hours telling you every little thing he loves about you and why.

Energetic, excited, or happy?

He'll match your energy completely, making sure you feel seen and appreciated.

To be honest, he's one of the best husbands out there when you melt his cold heart.. as long as you give him cuddles.

(Don't ask what happens if he doesn't get his cuddles... and kisses. Do not forget his kisses.

Kaminari Denki (266 words):

This man..

He is so head over heels for you.

He spoiled you before.. but now you were surrounded in his love.

He calls you nicknames like:

Beautiful, gorgeous, my queen, my darling love, mother of my child, my everything, and my sexy Goddess.

Your self esteem literally skyrocketed.

He's complimenting you twice in every sentence, buying you endless gifts with notes attached to each one.

I'm not sure about anyone else.. but I believe that when Denki falls.. he falls hard.

Like he's not some flirt anymore.

He flirts with you, and you only.. 25/8.

Makes sure everyone knows that you're his.. that being said he's not overly protective unless he gets jealous/insecure or you're uncomfortable.

He literally rubs your feet like twice an hour.

Always touching you in some way or another.

This man is sooo freaking clingy.

He's been hours late to work just for cuddles.. he won't let you go.

And he doesn't listen to reason either.

You've literally almost peed the bed numerous times.. but he's quickly learned that cuddling you to that point makes him lose his cuddling privileges.. so he stops.

He literally whines if you leave him for more than a minute.

He'll call your name with a heartbroken tone, begging you to come back to him.

He'll go on and on with his sob story, asking you why you don't love him anymore and why you fell in love with someone else.. yes he is very dramatic.

All in all he's a great husband.. especially when you're pregnant.

(He wants like 20 more lol)

Kirishima Eijiro (451 words):

Kirishima is in the top three best husbands if not the first.

Especially when it comes to pregnancy.

He doesn't care what you say, this man is working, cleaning, cooking, and pampering you.

He's on paternity leave as soon as possible, asking nicely the first few times before getting agitated.

Like Bakugo, he's very protective.

He holds your hand or waist outside, and if it came down to it he would fight to protect you.

He's not really jealous per say, but he is insecure and kind of possessive.

If he sees a man staring at you he'll frown, but won't do anything but hold you a little tighter against his chest.

After a few minutes he'll start to get insecure, a lot of 'what ifs' going through his head.

He starts to think that the man might be more attractive, or stronger. Maybe he would be able to protect you better, or make you happier.

His thoughts continue to spiral until you notice, and pull him into a long, reassuring kiss.

It instantly makes him feel better, and he's really smiley as you pull away.

Whisper 'I love you, and only you' in his ear for extra points.

He is the definition of simp.

He'll do anything and everything you ask, even if it was just after a twelve hour shift, he won't complain and work to make you comfortable and happy.

When he finally gets paternity leave he isn't leaving your side for a second.

He's a lot less demanding than Bakugo.. more like a lost puppy.

If he could, he would definitely cuddle you all day every day.

He'll follow you throughout the house, sticking close behind you. He'd sit right in front of you as you use the bathroom if you'd let him.

He views you as his queen, and himself as your servant, even though you've told him many many times that he was your king.

He denied it until you had a meltdown over it one night when your hormones were through the roof.

He apologized profusely, holding you to his chest as he whispered reassurance .

He stopped calling himself your servant, but he still kept his simp behaviour.. that wasn't negotiable.

His favourite thing to do is cuddle after giving you a long and relaxing foot massage.

He'll spoil you rotten tbh... letting you buy as many baby clothes as you desire.

Don't get me wrong, he loved and spoiled you before your pregnancy, but now you could practically get away with anything.

He viewed you as his beautiful queen before.. but now you were his gorgeous Goddess.

And he would do anything to make sure that you were safe, comfortable, happy, and loved.

Sero Hanta (162 words):

I've never written for Sero before.. I hope it's at least okay lol <3

Sero is a huge romantic, and so of course he's going to give you the princess treatment.

Foot rubs, cuddles, and cravings galore.

He's a lot more laid back than some other characters, but he wouldn't tolerate someone making you uncomfortable.

If a guy came up and started flirting with you, he'd smirk and watch you reject them with a mischievous smile.

But.. if you looked uncomfortable he would immediately jump in, pulling you into a kiss as he grinned sinisterly at the man.

As soon as the guy was uncomfortable he pulled away, leaving a few pecks across your cheeks, nose, and lips.

He whispered an 'I love you' in your ear before wrapping his arm around your waist, pulling you against him as he walked away.

He's not really a 'simp', but he definitely is a good husband who takes care of you as much as he physically can.

Tomura's Shigaraki peculiar interest towards Izuku Midoriya: A compilation of every sus moment from him! PART 2

Then AFO comes and possess Tomura, that's the moment Izuku realized Tomura is a victim, and needs saving as well The last thing Tomura sees before being gone, is Yoichi's speech about Izuku's heroism, and Izuku jumping, his body moving on his own, to try to SAVE him from AFO

After that, Tomura is abasically gone, as his mind is consumed by All for One, as they fuse, it's beocmes hard to tell where Tomura ends and AFO starts, BUT! Thanks to SNS we finally can see a part of Tomura again! his core, his most genuine self, and what that apart says?

This is proof, that this whole time, Tomura's unconsciousness DID realize Izuku is a real hero, ever since he saw him save All Might, help Todoroki, fight Stain, save Eri and Koda, and so on and on, he always KNEW Izuku was different from the other heroes

Moving on, from Tomura's point of view, he was kept suffering the collateral damage in that cave, yet when AFO talks about Izuku, Tomura's eyes suddenly focus, looking straight towards UA

At UA we have Izuku worried about Tomura btw

After that, we finally move to THE FINAL WAR ARC! Where right at the start we have a funny event ShigaAFO, or mostly AFO, tried to spread decay through the floor, to quickly kill all heroes, but- for some reason- the guy that wants heroes dead- stopped him?

Tomura, why did you stop him? Was it because Izuku is there? Is it because you still want to be saved? (we'll cover this exact feeling later)

Moving on! Some of Tomura and his Izuku obcession traits comes mixed with All for One’s personality too, in the form of wanting to upset Midoriya by hurting his friends and… Praising him? He literally killed Bakugou just to get a reaction out of Izuku! yes AFO might be acting like this because Izuku is All Might's apprentice, but- we know Tomura is a huge influence.

Little context, we know who's personality is most in control through the eyes, AFO has no pupils, but Tomura does, so when ShigAFO has pupils, it means Tomura

THEN! IZUKU FINALLY ARIVES!

And Tomura's personality immediately fronts and start fighting for control

He literally BREAKS the mind fusion ONLY to talk to Izuku, to taunt him, to ask him if he’ll leave his responsibilities as a hero and not save everyone, to in his cat, tsundere, childish way of speaking ask: are you truly daring to try to save me?

The moment Izuku asks if Tomura is still there, Tomura immediately starts fighting against AFO, who tried to lie and stay he was gone

Then Izuku takes Tomura from what was his flying tomb, decided that he won’t let Tomura die, and announces once again, that he won’t ignore him

Anyways touching foreheads again

It won't be easy, specially since we're dealing with a tsundere "spicy kitten", Tomura is literally smiling the whole time, while taunting and bickering

Tomura almost seems to not be even tyring to fight, in canon they spent 20 minute spinning around, Izuku trying to keep him still, while Tomura only laughed

Tomura then shows his vestige world, it looks exactly like the city he was ignored by, as a kid, once again, showing how much this trauma still bothers him, we then have a very interesting scene with stars and stripes

SnS points to a crack, a fissure, that apparently she caused when destroying ShigaAFO's vestige, the crack represents the torn open hole in AFO's chest where Tenko was in, meaning, if the city is a barrier of lead formed by his hate and trauma, the crack in it then represents Tomura's little flicker of hope of being saved by izuku, that is bovious given soon we have another flashback to when Tenko though of a worthy hero…

it's important to note, another clue that Tomura does want to be saved (as if this all wasn't enough)

we know he relates to Bakugou, and YES, bkg IS improtant for Tomura's arc, during UA cage math, he had a stress attack when he saw people tyring to help Bakugou, which trigered him, since he wasn't saved when he wasn't broken

(proving he didn't consider himself broken before being found by AFO, and he does believe AFO broke him), so why would people save bakugou?

Later when Tomura sees Bakugou get up, he makes this very soft and surprised expression, his eyes shine, it almost look like hope

Now Izuku is focusing on trying to break Tomura's hatred barrier, by aiming at the crack...

Tomura also for some reason doesn't attack when Izuku stops, every time tomura had the chance, he just doesn't kill, he always waits him to get up again before attacking, it's almost like he doesn't want to actually severally hurt him!

This is all for now! Well, this is long XD and believe me, it can get longer, I had many other things and small moments i wanted to point out, but god, THEY HAVE A LOT of stuff Reading weekly and watching the anime might give the illusion that they have no developed relationship

, due to physically meeting only 4 times, but it’s on their perceptions and thoughts of each other that they are developed, pretty much subtext, but it’s there and shouldn’t be ignored the way it is!

This has been written only with Manga panels and canon content so it is explicit that it IS text. But boy if i add all the promo content, hori’s interviews and plans, songs, art, anime filler, of well, THEY HAVE A LOT OF CONTENT

YANDERE TODODEKU HEADCANONS

I know, some of you might be surprised as HELL (like me lol) because candy cane Todoroki doesn't seem like the type to share his darling with ANYONE, let alone Midoriya, but... somehow, he tolerates it and there we go! You are now the darling of 2 famous Pro heroes :)

When it comes to showing affection, Izuku will SMOTHER you ALL OVER and yes, you'll have to ask him to back up a bit since you won't be able to breathe. He likes hugs and cuddles and all that other shit whereas Shoto... well, we all know that he's a silent boi... and a shy one too. He's a tsundere no doubt about that, but he'll hug you from back and stroke your hair and catch your tiny soft adorable hands in his and spend ALOT of time admiring them (He'll love it when you cook soba for him)

At first when they kidnap you, yeah, you'll be sobbing all over the place and all that. but, they aren't THAT bad to you. They take good care of you and they NEVER force you to do something you DON'T want to do. They won't keep you in a basement with chains, oh nooo. They'll keep you chained on a comfy soft bed because they don't want their darling angel to be uncomfortable, now do they?

''Oh doll, you look so RAVISIHING when you look at me with those pleading eyes of yours.... I won't be able to control myself any longer''

''Oh our sweet little angel, our baby, you'll certainly enjoy living with us. You don't need any other insignificant people in your life. You have us''

When you act up, they won't punish you THAT hard since they don't like seeing you hurt. However, if it gets drastic, expect waterworks from Deku and a few slappings from Todoroki (P.S: Don't EVER say he's like his dad or you won't be seeing daylight again). If it gets too regular, Deku will let Todoroki handle the punishments since he doesn't like punishing you. He prefers making you feel guilty and most of the time, that actually works. If you try to escape, Todoroki will be amused and Deku will be devastated. Deku thinks that he needs to shower you with MORE and MORE affection and you can kiss your personal space goodbye. Expect a few slappings on the wrist, the usual shoutings and the waterworks and you'll be left all alone in a room feeling isolated as your punishment. They just SIMPLY can't lay a finger on you, you're their PRECIOUSSSS!!!!! (lol, get the reference?)

Recovery period will be like heaven. Todoroki will make your favorite food, Deku will shower you with his love and all that and you'll be watching movies as they cuddle you to sleep and gently rock you back and forth, stroking your hair and making you feel calm and safe. They'll tend to your injuries and get you to laugh more and pamper the HELL out of you

Now for the million dollar question. Would they kidnap you? ONE THOUSAND percent YESSS!!! As soon as they confess their feelings to you, whether you accept them or reject them, you can kiss your freedom and your old life back sayonanra. They'll pretend to be like your heroes by swooping in, saving you from every bad thing in this world. They just want what's best for you since they care about you ALOT (No to mention OBSESSED ASF) They want to protect their darling angel and the only way they can do that is if you are in their arms

On a scale from one to ten, Izuku loves you 1000000000000%. He keeps telling you that you're the reason for him being alive and not following Kaachan's advice by jumping off a roof in middle school and all that. He loves you so much he might actually cry if you aren't with him. Todoroki, on the other hand, loves you 90% because the other 10% of him doesn't feel like sharing you with Izuku

If you were planning to become (insert your favorite job here), well say goodbye to that too because the only ''work'' you'll be doing after living with them is just relaxing all day long and doing whatever you want (under their supervision of course). They don't want you to work since you're already living with the 2 most famous pro heroes of Japan and you'll get everything in the blink of an eye, so why work for it? And they don't want you getting tired and stressed out and all that anyway. If you take up something like writing or drawing, they'll praise you for it. However if you ask them if you could publish your works online, don't be surprised if you get a big fat NO in response. They don't want anyone to take you away from them and they'll remind you of all the horrors and dangers of the online world

Will they kill for you? Absolutely YES!

Should you resist them or welcome them? Just welcome them. It'll be better for everyone, including you

If someone has a grudge against them or they have a rival, doesn't matter. They'll be off the face of this planet before you can even call it a day

Midoriya prefers using knives, guns, and anything sharp and pointy. Todoroki prefers using his quirk and guns

Do they torture their rivals and their victims? HELL YEAH! NO ONE deserves to even LOOK at you and BREATHE the same air as you. So, they'll just get rid of the annoying little pest that's in their way

A/N~ Hi it's ghost this one is just the heros in training I am planning to make four more, the LOV, pro heros, The big three and the girls, ANYWAYS I hope you enjoy. ^^

💥🧨Bakugou

♡This man is a full on tsundere and we all know it, but he would most definitely spoil you although he would bevery subtle about it like leaving a small present on your desk or a little note.

♡Now Bakugou is not for PDA he would probably say something like "Those people need to get a damn room " though he would hold your hand, just no kisses.

♡ The pet names he would call you would be "Dumbass ", "Idiot ", "Babe ", and "dork " and of course he means it in a loving way just he likes to tease you, if you tell him that you don't like him calling you that he'll stop and come up with some cute ones.

♡Though Bakugou isn't big on PDA that doesn't mean he doesn't love cuddling with you, as long as the both of you are alone he'll give you all the cuddles in the world, and if you don't give him cuddles for a while he will pout, but if you ask him if he likes cuddles he will deny it immediately.

♡Bakugou gets jealous very damn easily though he may deny it sometimes, but other times he'll just confront the person talking to you and tell them to back the hell up and that you are his.

♡ This baby bean is very shy when it comes to romantic stuff but he would try his best to spoil you, he would probably ask one of the girls in the class what he should get you, but on his own he would probably give you flowers or some sweet treats Inko baked.

♡ As we all know Izuku is very shy so he would most likely just hold your hand or give you a quick hug, but if it was a special occasion he would give give you a quick kiss but right after he'd probably just be apologizing.

♡ the pet names he would give you would probably be stuff like "Honey ", "Angel ", or "Sweetheart " just some cute a simple nicknames.

♡ Izuku is definitely a fan of cuddles just the thought of having you in his arms makes him smile like a three year old on Christmas morning, he'll discreetly ask for cuddles like he'll call you in the middle of the night saying "Honey, can you come over I can't sleep ".

♡ Izuku tends to get kinda overprotective when he gets jealous, but he's really nice about it he'll just pull you away from who ever your talking to.

♡ This man would absolutely spoil you no doubt about it, he would take all of endeavors credit cards and probably spend all the money on you he would be buying fresh flowers for you every week, and leaving you sweet little notes on your desk.

♡ Shoto love showing everybody that he has a stunning human being for a partner so he'll hold your hand hug you and kiss you in public but if you tell him not to he'll fully understand and and stop.

♡ The pet names Shoto would give you would be something like these "Darling ", or "Baby " he keeps the names short, sweet and simple straight to the point though he might throw some random ones out there.

♡ Shoto Todoroki is the biggest cuddle bug after finding out what cuddling is he'll be asking you daily if you could cuddle with him, If you tell him you can't he'll pout and a turn into a huge brat about and say stuff like "Baby please, you can do that later " or "Pay attention to me y/n, come on ".

♡ Now Shoto get jealous easily but hides it decently well say for example, you get carried away talking to Fuyumi talking about whatever it is but Shoto would pop up out of nowhere and hug you from behind resting his head on your shoulder, he would be trying to pry you away just so he could have you to himself.

♡ This human rock most definitely spoils you, Eijiro would stop by a breakfast shop on his morning runs just so he can see your face in the morning and to make sure you eat , he would leave little notes on your desk just to tell you how much you mean to him

♡ Eijiro is kinda big on PDA loves hugging kissing and holding your hand in public to prove he has the "Manliest" partner .

♡ The pet name kiri would give you would most likely be stuff like "Pebble ", "Boulder ", or "Jewel " and of course it's rock related.

♡ Yes, Kiri adores cuddling with you physical touch is his love language just cuddling you after a long day, he would definitely make a pillow fort for the both of you just a bunch of pillows and blankets.

♡Kiri doesn't get that jealous that often but when he does he tends to be really possessive just pulling you away from any person somewhat flirting with you.

♡ Denki is kinda big on PDA just loves kissing hugging and holding your hands in public he loves you too much to care what people think you mean the world to him and he'll prove it but of course if you don't like PDA he understands.

♡ The pet names kami would give you would be "Jolteon ", "Babe ",or "Cutie-patootie " he would mainly give you a bunch of dorky nicknames.

♡ The pet names he would give you would be "Kitten ", "Kitty ", "Honey ", or "Baby " just some cute and simple nicknames for you.

♡ Now Shinso may not be big on PDA but man does he love cuddling any chance he'll get he will cuddle you, cuddling with you at the end of the day us the only thing that helps this sleepy boy fall asleep after a long day of school and hero training.

♡ Sleepy boi over here doesn't get jealous easily, but when he does it's the one time he'll use his quirk on a normal person and pretty much just tell them to go away.

Kacchan ha Midoriya Izuku to motto mo naka ga ii and Ochaco

Alternatively: Izuku & Kacchan love each other and Ochaco put the pieces together and KNOWS

It all started when Deku told her this

What Izuku really says (at least in the anime) is: “He’s amazing. He may be a disagreeable guy, but his ambition, confidence, physical strength and quirk are all vastly superior to mine.”

which must have been so confusing to her? The whole class, who barely even know each other, quickly figured out that Kacchan has it in for Deku... and Deku-kun says THIS ?!!?!!?!! ?!WTF

Yes. That’s quite the interesting paradox you’ve stumbled upon.

And Ochaco clearly thought about it some, because this doozie came out of her mouth to Kacchan when Kacchan wanted to yell at Izuku for daring to save him during their practical exam against All Might.

She gets an immediate enraged reaction out of Kacchan, but that’s because she STRUCK a sensitive nerve. He yells the most when he’s put in uncomfortable positions and doesn’t want to think about how he really feels, on top of those knee-jerk explosive reactions to anything Deku related. Classic tsundere.

She just wanted all the inexplicable raging to stop... and to an extent, these words helped him re-assess a little.

Because after Ochaco called him out on pushing Deku away ‘cause he’s afraid (afraid of what? getting close to him perhaps, for reasons explained in this post but the gist is that Kacchan has always been scared of loving and losing Izuku), this was the turning point where he really began to look at Izuku and piece together the secret of OFA.

One other person pointed out this same thing, All Might... “and you young Bakugou, you fear his heart.” and because All Might is someone Kacchan respects so much, when AM mentioned it, he thought... well shit, if All Might is also saying it, maybe there is some truth to this, after all?

Ochaco was also there to see this heart wrenching breakdown of Izuku’s:

I think anyone who saw this was really hit by something they didn’t fully comprehend: Izuku has some incredibly deep feelings for Kacchan. Because this? This is Izuku being hysterically inconsolable that he couldn’t protect him. Couldn’t save him. You wouldn’t act like this over somebody that isn’t important to you, whose presence isn’t critical to your livelihood. There may have been some realisation by the class that Kacchan is just that for Deku.

After this point, by association of Class 1-A and watching Deku, she’s probably started to notice after DvK2 that Kacchan and Izuku are getting along much better than before, not from positive interactions, as their growing friendship is mostly done in secret, but by a distinct lack of the usual negative ones. The whole class likely shares the feeling that Kacchan’s personality has been tamed a bit. This sentiment is expressed in one of the school briefs by Kirishima to Fat Gum and Sun Eater.

If they started getting along it would be THE TALK OF CLASS A for days. No one had truly noticed it yet and they’d make a big deal if they did.

Later on there were fragments of their renewing friendship that did get picked up on, though. A gold star goes to Kaminari, who noticed Kacchan had stayed up waiting for everyone, but most importantly, waited for Deku to return home safely. This was why he called him Kacchan, the nuance was Kaminari encouraging Kacchan to, rather than sitting alone, go seek Deku and the others out after they came back from their big mission, since he had been waiting and worrying about them all with the rest of the class. Sero also gets one with his “The house arrest boys are late again.” Given that this is still their nickname, it must have been a recurring thing for them since the house arrest. The class knows the most unusual suspects have been doing something together. Sussy.

It’s also very importantly noted by Kirishima that “Even those with seemingly rocky relationships might get on better than the rest of the world knew” ... This line was purposefully placed here because the reader will know this fits BkDk to a T.

Bakudeku’s Kizuna*: exists and the clueless world = Ochaco

(*Kizuna is a deep connection between two people unable to be severed)

Ochaco thought that Kacchan and Deku were never going to get along. Her words influenced Deku to doubt himself about Kacchan taking his hand, because she believed Kacchan would never give help to or receive help from Deku. She thought she understood them and she had their relationship pinned down to the aggressor and his victim who takes it willingly because he’s so kind. She thought wrong.

And this mistake became more clear to her during Izuku’s special quirk training when she was asked for advice in how to float and saw Kacchan was also there blowing Deku up (at his behest) and she reprimanded Kacchan, believing him to be bullying Deku again, all because she follows the assumption that they aren’t close and that they don’t hang out. Wrong and wrong once again, Ochaco...

Anyone observing Kacchan’s quieter, more reserved behaviour along with seeing him and Deku spend more and more time alone together surely feels:

Hmm. There seems to be a correlation here.

Increase in relationship with Izuku => Decrease in Kacchan’s anger

Whatever could it mean?

Later on Ochaco has a very specific moment of noticing Deku and Kacchan’s closeness when she saw them splitting off from the group together.

Horikoshi drew a panel only of her staring after them in bewilderment.

By now, she’s probably thinking... what is going on with these two that they are going off together by themselves (again)? And I think this is where she begins to notice that she’s not as close to Izuku as she thought, that she is not in the loop with whatever is going on with him, while most unexpectedly, Kacchan is.

And what the entire class witnessed on the next one, was completely shocking to them because from their POV: Kacchan, someone who very vocally doesn’t like people touching him, often complains about people being too close, can’t stand people even walking ahead of him and most of all, usually yells about or at DEKU...

jumps in first to save Izuku from falling, embracing him in his arms after a beautifully heartfelt apology and plea for him to return back to UA... back home to him. With all the humility and all the comfort he could muster, Kacchan treats Izuku so very gently and compassionately. “I know.” Kacchan was the one who saw Izuku and had his back. He had him back.

And Class 1-A had all witnessed it. Katsuki “I know Deku best” Bakugou.

But Ochaco saw a glimpse of something beyond the dark and angsty relationship everyone thought they had. A glimpse of Kacchan’s hidden feelings that must have been there this whole time, lying underneath his skin, deep inside his bones and swimming around with the marrow.

Kacchan sacrificed himself for Deku and had gotten hurt and Deku had run away, taking the danger with him. Kacchan had been struggling with Deku’s absence the most and Kacchan spearheaded the retrieve Deku operation. Deku had strayed too far from them and Kacchan was the one to find him and convince him to come back. Deku had fallen, and without anymore hesitation, Kacchan had jumped in to pick him up. Kacchan’s barriers were down, making his dedication to Izuku all the more transparent. They have this constant push and pull of each other. An inescapable gravity. And she pieced it all together. Kacchan, the one who has always been with Deku, is the one who saves him.

Ochaco realised she was seeing the kizuna, clear as day. She saw

Katsuki “Midoriya Izuku to motto mo naka ga ii*” Bakugou Katsuki “Izuku needs me the most and I him” Bakugou Katsuki “I’m hopelessly in love with this nerd” Bakugou

And while this was all going on, you can see everyone else is running over to Deku, but strangely, not Ochaco. She is standing in the distance, watching Deku being held in Kacchan’s arms, unmoving. Class 1-A didn’t know what any of it meant, but I think Ochaco knew. She realised that she wasn’t the person who Deku needed most. That if she were the folds of the origami, then Katsuki Bakugou was Izuku Midoriya’s paper.

Uraraka Ochaco finally understood.
