This thread is incredibly important to read.
It is also extremely difficult to read. I don't know if I need to point this out, but the document itself is obviously full of bigotry so please take care of yourself if you choose to read it. Antisemitic phrases like "cultural marxism" and "global elites" appear before the document even really gets rolling, and are mixed in with transphobia, racism, and more.
If you want a taste of how this document starts in the first main section about "The Family", here is a taste:
"This starts with deleting the terms sexual orientation and gender identity (“SOGI”), diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”), gender, gender equality, gender equity, gender awareness, gender-sensitive, abortion, reproductive health, reproductive rights, and any other term used to deprive Americans of their First Amendment rights out of every federal rule, agency regulation, contract, grant, regulation, and piece of legislation that exists."
It is all bad. ALL of this document is bad, and dangerous, and threatens the lives and the safety of everyone living in this country.

This might be a hot take, but I genuinely don't care what people do.
You're a therian? Cool, teach me about it.
Your a furry? Awesome. I love your fur suit.
You have a weird kink? Cool. Me too.
You have a "cringe" interest? Me too!
Your into monsters? Same!
You can literally do anything as long as your not hurting anyone else or doing anything morally wrong (like assault, pedophilia, beastiality, white washing, things like that)

Familiarize yourselves with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The US hasn't signed it yet, but if they had the stunts the alt-right are trying to pull would definitely go against it.
We have to be on the forefront of the children's rights movement and protect it intersectionality along with other civil rights movements like trans rights, gay rights, women's rights, poc rights, indigenous rights, Jewish rights, disabled rights and all basic human rights.
If they go after one of us, they go after us all. Right now children aren't protect so they're being targeted first.
We can't let them use "what about the children" as an excuse to create laws that harm children and adults. But as far as I can see, we are not making as much noise about children's rights. People who care about children might be drawn to the alt-right if they falsely believe that this is the only children's rights movement, we can't allow that to happen.
So spread the word.
Children's rights are human rights.
Trans children's rights are human rights.

Revisited a story that was very important to me as a child, and learned about the author being very vocal about the harm gender roles & stereotypes cause. I thought "oh that's great!" but was afraid. What if she only applied that logic to cis ppl?
I did some searching, and found out that not only does she support trans ppl, but has also spoken multiple times about how important it is to be able to see protagonists outside of the perceived norm. A.K.A., she doesn't see my very existence as wrong.
I let out a deep sigh of relief. I could continue to enjoy this thing that had been so important to me growing up.
But this isn't the first time something like this has happened. Too often I discover a new artist, or even be unsure of one I've enjoyed the work of for a long time up to the present; and I have to desperately search to know if I can enjoy their work. Either I am extremely relieved, or absolutely crushed.
This shouldn't be necessary. I shouldn't be feeling this deep fear that something so important to me, was created by someone who despises my very existence. That I, as a disabled queer femme ex-mormon Pagan witch who was raised like a girl, will be shoved off the emotional cliff of "this person you looked up to hates you for the same reason all bigots do".
I was so terrified that something that meant so much to me as a kid could've shattered me emotionally. Simply because I didn't know if the person who made it hates people like me.
We shouldn't have to live like this.

Please never stop ignoring that white supremacy is a huge core element of radfem/terf ideology.
Like yes they hyperenforce gender roles and stereotypes on all cis women, but it is primarily women of color that they target and accuse of being predatory and "not real women" when they're targeting cis women.
The metrics of "real woman vs trans woman" that terfs love to share are almost all just white eurocentric beauty standards. Small nose, thin fine hair, little/no body hair, petite but somehow curvy, hell I've even seen a post saying skin lightness is a determiner.
Terf/radfem circles are racist at their core. You cannot separate radical feminism from it's violently white supremacist roots. You can't have "anti-racist radical feminism", that's a fucking oxymoron. There is a very clean path from terfs to tradfems/tradwifes, to just straight up conservative republican women.
Yes yes always, terfs are super misogynistic. They hurt all women by forcing them back into the little impossible painful boxes that they claim they're fighting. But one of their biggest targets other than trans women is black women. Not to mention ignoring, discrediting, or just straight up trying to erase all the hard work that black trans women did for queer rights.
Radical feminism is very much transphobic, homophobic, and misogynistic. I'm not saying stop addressing it as such. Don't ever do addressing it as such!
But racial feminism is white supremacy in a coat of pink paint. Please never forget that when talking about how it hurts us all.

hot take, but i think we should make things less about
“[insert minority here] are bad criminals and always steal because they’re bad!”
and more about
“maybe they have a reason to steal, so we should help that by decreasing discrimination, and not decreasing the minority”
(plain text under the cut)

These two pieces of art were found "too offensive" for Florida State University. This is clearly an attempt by the DeSantis administration to further along a dark, toxic message. Please spread these around with friends, mutuals, and loved ones so he doesn't succeed!

OK so...
If someone were to do a sort of travel blog that did reviews of different cities/hotels/attractions/etc on the basis of accessibility, diversity, minority safety, and whatnot, would that be something people want? If so, what categories would you want this person to review based on (eg wheelchair access, safety for trans people, number of confederate statues)?

Hey, I've been coming across a lot of discriminatory stuff lately (i.e. sexism, aphobia) and while it is probably just me, I'll put this out into the world for anyone else who needs to hear it, because I do.
What we're doing is not hopeless. There are other people out there still fighting the good fight. We're not alone in anything we do, and for as long as there are people protesting against our existence, there will be others standing besides us. Stay hopeful, it's never impossible.

every marginalized group is unequivocally intertwined btw. every attack at one community takes us all down
if you are big in the BLM and Stop Asian Hate movements but spread conspiracy theories about Judaism and Islam you are actively hurting the racial justice movement.
if you are a be gay do crimes LGBT freedoms girly but think disabled people need to be coddled and cured and can’t survive on their own you are actively hurting the queer movement
if you are a feminist but think transgenderism is a myth you are actively hurting the gender equality movement
any combination of marginalized on marginalized hatred is hurtful to all of us. the rich christian cishet able-bodied white guy in power doesn’t see us as separated groups. they see us as subgenres in the monolith of ‘different.’
it’s easy to snipe us off one by one by one. it’s a lot harder to hit us down together.

I swear some of yall only say "ACAB" because you think its trendy to be anti authority. You need to understand that that acronym was born out of actual pain that people have experienced by the police. And im not just talking about getting speeding or parking tickets (though im not saying that tickets can not be a source of great pain for people), im talking about things that have brought about personal risk of life. Things like police brutality, being arrested, getting a "mental health check" via police. People say ACAB because they have been hurt by police, and see the problems with the police, and how they are all bastards via how they systematically protect the bad ones and encourage violence. They don't say it just to be rebellious or something. So like, if you say ACAB, you better believe it, because I see a lot of the (usually white) liberal crowd shout it at the top of their lungs, and then turn around and call the cops on their marginalized peers the moment they act weird

What was once a blog for dumping my interests in, will now be dedicated to spreading awareness. Id like to say I'm crushed that there's so much discrimination in the world today. From this point on my blog will be used regularly and I'll be posting about the world.
My goal is the truth. As A Transgender individual I'm pretty well versed in what goes on politically for the LGBT community, but I've also seen an abundance of issues regarding the continuous genocide against the Palestinians and people in the Congo. Women are still looked down upon, murdered, 🍇ed, and seen as "over emotional" as well as young women being put through parentified roles.
One of my main goals is learning more about people who have disabilities and the discrimination they face, as well as the rights that they lack. I know of some issues regarding young people, but I know I don't have enough knowledge as of right now to fully speak on it.
Mental health is very important during these times, but most individuals aren't able to get the care they need due to the price of health care being unaffordable and many plans don't include therapy or psychological treatments. The misinformation of mental illness is spread everyday, but so is almost everything now.
I may not be the most professional person but I am able to educate myself, and the best way I know how is to study and write. So if I'm going to write to learn, I may as well push the information here so that others will be able to learn as well.
Welcome to a series of essays: Understanding The World
