because of the nature of his music and the imagery he uses (myth, death, nature being used to explore love and devotion explored in various forms, how his music sometimes moves between the twin poles of the celebratory and the dark) people talk about him as though he's some mythical elvin fairy king and its increasingly uncomfortable. not just because he's simply an artist drawn to particular themes (like literally any other artist) but also because a lot of his music is addressing and exploring v real historical and social issues. people fixating on him as "the bog man" is very reductive and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth because he's not silent on the politics in his music either.

#people infantilising him is doubly bizarre because its like....his debut single is literally about the oppressive nature and destructive #hypocrisy of religious institutions in their stance towards lgbt people. and even the most recent ep isn't subtle at ALL #“come and get some skinning the children for a war drum” ?? hello??#his imagery is beautiful and his explorations of love as a force of opposition against the physical world in various forms is *chefs kiss*#but people need to calm down #ask #anonymous

When a transgirl calls you by your deadname it just feels so safe. Somehow it feels right. Because they went through it too, they know the power behind their words. When someone else deadnames you they might as well be written in the death note, but not the trans women. They could call me anything they’d want and I’d never feel safer.

Bi pride hummingbird! This design mostly came about from my urge to paint more birds with fancy tail feathers. The real-life birds I used for inspiration were the violet-tailed sylph and the swallow-tailed hummingbird, both native to South America. :)

I painted some badges!

Subtle bigender and subtle genderfluid ones to hide it from my transphobic family but are still hopefully recogmisable. And then a gremlet one because i love my gremlet and he is my avatar

I put a coat of clear nail polish once it dried to make it shiny and protect it from scratches. Figured that since it stops u biting and scratching ur nails that it would work for paint too, and it does! Be careful when its drying to not get your finger prints on the clear one, and it can and will peel off all your paint just like that
