Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley at the Gym headcanons:

Fuuuuuckkkkk Ghost at the gym getting pumped and his muscles bulging out of his fitted black tee, flexing and stretching while he lifts and pushes. He would grunt and groan at the very last few reps of his sets and he’d try to keep his face from contorting, just letting his eyes squint and keeping a little frown or pursing his lips.

Ghost’s tee would be damp with sweat and would cling to every groove and crevice of his muscles like a fucking glove. And fuuuck his scent.. He’d smell sooo good. Just the thought of his musk just emanating from his dirty post-gym clothing makes me feral… putting me back in a primitive state its not even funny bro.

He’d probably spend just over an hour working out. He also probably prefers calisthenics over weights for the convenience, so he’d know all these tricks, AND it would one of the reasons why he’s able to soundlessly slither around and through environments: excellent balance.

And when he does use weights, he’s more likely to use equipment like a benchpress/leg-presssince it would train both limbs at the same time so that it’s more efficient—minmaxing gym routine.

When he’s not able to go to the gym he’d workout at home/at the barracks using whatever furniture is available. If he’s at the barracks, Soap would probably join him if Soap randomly witnesses it.

Also if he’s using the gym at the military he’d put on a black surgical mask, but, if he’s not and is using a normal gym he’d go mask-off.

Ghost wouldn’t be super lean since he doesn’t give that much of a fuck about his diet. Like, he’d care about getting all of his nutrients but he wouldn’t be much of a protein fiend. He’s a big muscular man, not an instagram gym influencer.

Like that popular hc, he wouldn’t listen to music at the gym BUUUT i feel like he would keep a pair of headphones on to muffle the outside noise. He wants total silence while working out, like a weirdo. Ghost would also carry those gallon sized water bottles with him to the gym.

After his workout, he’d take an agonising cold shower—he’d poker-face through it though as if it was a normal temperature-d shower. He’d take around 25 minutes since he’s a big man with big limbs and a big body to clean. Usually, Ghost would exercise in the early hours of the morning so after his workout, he’d eat.

Ghost would probably make something Huge. Maybe a pot of slop: anything he could get his hands on in his pantry and fridge and just plopped them in a pot on some heat. Or something like a girthy breakfast burrito.

Fuuuck it’d also be nice if Ghost happened to have taken an interest in rock-climbing. I think he’d like it since there are probably similar drills to rock-climbing in his military training. So fucking hot to imagine him just scanning this wall and immediately finding the most optimal way to climb to the top. You’ll see his biceps flex and his triceps form dimples fuck

Seeing as the Kurans are second in command of the vampire world, how could they possibly ignore such an extraordinary invitation from their lovely superiors?

Kaname had only met your parents once, hundreds of years ago, long before you were conceived. They were terribly polite and well-conversed, too much so. Speaking with them felt artificial — lifeless even. He'd hardly thought they were capable of raising a child in any way.

He could not be any more wrong.

To his surprise, you were the exact opposite of them. You held a childlike joy brighter than the stars littering the night sky. A fancy dress was tightly tied around your small frame with ruffles and subtle ribbons sewn to its fabric. He admired your personality and the rawness of it. You reminded him of a human with how much emotion you displayed. It was charming!

“Hello there, are you perhaps Lady [Name]?”

A man with almost shoulder-length, well-groomed chocolate strands had approached you. He looked to be no older than sixteen yet he was older than you. But as your mother always told you, ‘With vampires, looks can be deceiving. Thus, do not make assumptions.’

“Oh, yes...hello there.” You bowed rather awkwardly, having little time to fully master your etiquette for such a large event.

He rested a gloved hand over his mouth in a pitiful attempt to stifle his laughter. You're adorable. Bowing to someone below you was such a simple yet, humorous mistake.

You tilted your head, folding your arms tightly over your chest. An angry huff flew past your lips, much faster than you could've stopped it. Remembering your mothers' words, you were quick to adjust your posture and unfold your arms. “S-sorry.”

Kaname chucked outwardly. Another apology? Just how cute can you be! “It's quite alright. There's no need to apologize, honestly.”

Kanme finds himself spending much more time at your manor, in hopes of seeing you. Perhaps. Though if that were the case it surely wouldn't surprise the King and Queen of the vampire world. The boy made it painfully obvious in their eyes, and they were more than willing to allow him such a wish.

As funny as it may seem, Kaname treats you like a princess, which you technically are. From birth, he was taught to show the utmost respect to your family. Rightfully so, as they held an immense amount of influence in the supernatural world and you would do the same.

Despite how dearly he held you, there was a line he was not willing to cross. Reprehending you or going against your wishes left a bitter taste on his tongue; unpleasant and hard to swallow. In his eyes, you could do no wrong

Kaname cares for you ineffably, and by the age of ten, you were well aware of it. You knew he had a sister as he very seldomly spoke of her, and frankly, you were curious about her — who she was.

Lying to you didn't make him feel the slightest bit at ease. Twisting the truth to such a sweet girl was a sin like no other, yet he felt as though it was necessary. The possibility of you growing close to Yuki was far too strong. The thought alone made him ill.

“Kaname~! When can I meet Yuki?” You whined, giving the end of his coat a soft tug. “You make her sound like an angel the way you talk about her.”

“You are the angel, Lady [Name],” He smiled, gently taking your hands in his own. You giggled, seeing as his hand nearly engulfed your much smaller ones. “I'm afraid I don't know when you'll have the opportunity to see Yuki.”

It seems that Kaname is the perfect person to stand by your side. Your parents thought so too, seeing as the Kurans were second in command in the vampire world, and his pureblood abilities would deem useful.

On that note, upon your exposure to the world, meetings were something you were required to attend; with or without your parents. Kaname is more than happy to stick by your side, as he fears for your safety when left alone with such atrocious men.

You'd always found it strange how distant some aristocrats appeared. It'd soured your mood on more than one occasion. Truth be told, Kaname took it upon himself to remove their horrid influence on you; well, the possibility of it. Not just anyone was allowed to speak with you.

Times like these make Kaname quite thankful for his authoritative power in the world. He'd hate to dirty his hands with the foul blood of those old cretins, in front of you nonetheless. But my dear they were a few unlucky ones. (Hanabusa watch your back).

Without knowing it you would grow fairly attached to the Kuran. Unfortunately, that was his plan. Once you've fully grown dependent on him, he will finally be able to ensure your safety. It's only a matter of time before you mature and rule in your parents' place. Sure, loyalty wouldn't be difficult to come by, for it comes naturally to your family. Yet the thought pains him so terribly.

No matter how long your ruling may be. The struggles you come across. Kaname will be there to coddle you and fix them as he always does. You wouldn't have to lift so much as a finger!

Kaname will forever serve you. No matter the choices you make or the emotions you feel. You will always be his little vampire princess.

There was something exciting about going on this trip - even as Vargas proclaimed it as a 'survival of the fittest' test to see how witted his students are 24/7.

The forest can be quite beautiful on Twisted Wonderland - the lakes, the meadows, the caves.

You'd be here with friends and classmates even if that familiar trio of bullies were also coming and kept giving you a queasy feeling.

You'd brush it off for once and enjoy yourself.

You were so stupid to do so.

The three students are ruthless - kept on jabbing and pushing your buttons as a 'magicless' student, a 'failure'. Like a glitch in the system; because what was a magicless student doing here in NRC?

And it didn't help you were the only girl here in this all-boys-academy.

Pulling on your hair, making stupid remarks, pervertedly flicking up your skirt.

You aren't meant to be here.

There you are, crying in a ball as blood pours out from somewhere on your foot. It's hard to see where exactly in this dark cave.

You tried to be optimistic - you've been through worse but no matter where you twisted and turned you couldn't find the exit. And soon you gave in to this pain in your chest, the tightness in your throat and the pain in your foot as you sobbed alone in the dark.

If only you had magic and could easily find a way to get out of here. This could only happen to you.

Your sob halted in your throat as you heard a rumbling. Small rocks would fall before dim light entered your vision. Wiping your tears you hear fast footsteps until familiar silver entered your blurry vision.

"There you are! What happened?!" You swallowed as he approached. Silver's lavender eyes were wide and his entire demeanor more tense than usual - the complete opposite when he openly yawned next to you in the camp, feeling unusually safe in the forest.

He was quickly close beside you, his eyes scanning you up and down. You just tried to quickly wipe your tears as he asked question upon question.

The numerous attempts to joke at this situation fell flat - you cannot brush off the blood pooling out of your skin. In fact, Silver cursed and quickly tended to your foot. Asking you how this could have happened and why you are alone here anyways as he also instructs you to lift your leg.

"Oh," You choke out but try to sell it out as laughter, "Funny that you ask. I wasn't looking where I was going and..." You keep on faking giggles as your story became more and more unstable and Silver's piercing glare made your made-up alibi crumble.

"(Name). I am serious. What happened, why are you injured and all alone here? You can tell me." Though his lips did not even rose upwards, his eyes softened and your guard fell. The laughter came out in chokes as you let the tears fall. "Silver-senpai...I think I should just go home."

He startles as he watches you cry. He may not be the most observing, even as he tries to stay awake all the time, but he believes he has never seen you so dejected before. He listens with wide eyes as you belittle yourself, believe that you shouldn't be here and that is best if you go back to NRC early.

"I mean look at me...I couldn't do anything to get out of here...if it weren't for you, I'd cry till dawn and no one would notice a thing. The guys were right...you even helping me isn't something I deserve...!"

You hide your tear-stained face, mumbling incoherrently but Silver was able to catch one thing. He leans closer.

"Someone did this to you, right? Someone threw you in here and you got hurt..."

He cursed inwardly. He just recently noticed you were missing and made a mad-dash towards where you were last seen...but even before that he didn't even catch you being tormented in the group. Silver just easily let himself doze off, feeling safe in the forest.

But you didn't. And he didn't notice the fact that you needed help and he could've done something to protect you.

"I don't know how long I can still take this...I'm not made for this trip, not for NRC. I'll just go home." You managed to silence your whimpers and wiped your tears. Your claim made something inside Silver stir.

You startled as Silver suddenly but elegantly knelt in front of you, bowed his head and pressed his hand on his chest. "Forgive this pathetic knight," He let out sternly with closed eyes, "I don't know how long I'll be able to protect you for, but I guarantee you, I'll only stop with my final breath."

Letting out puzzled noises at his sudden and stiff behavior as he adjusted your foot one last time before bringing one arm each under your back and knees. "S-Silv - Wha...???" You yelp as he hoists you up and carries you like a princess.

He walks out from where he came from. "I've trained for this my whole life but I still failed. I'll protect you until this trip is over, I promise you, (Name). You deserve it, milady."

Okay, now he is going too far with his knightly-duty talk.

Just as you were approaching the outside light, another silhouette came rushing from the side and almost colliding with the wall next to them. With a swift swing, it seemed to be Sebek, panting, glaring and dirty all over.

"SILVEEEERRRR!" He almost stumbled forwars but stopped himself right before bumping ino the two of you. "THE HUMAN IS NOT IN THE-!!!"

He gasped OUTLOUD when he saw you. Finally!

"(NAME)! THERE YOU ARE-"

Again, he stops himself. The big grin on his face disappeared as his face slowly shifted into one of calm rage.

"Who did this to you? And where are they?"

Sebek was eerily calm as he helped you wipe a few tears away. While you tried to explain yourself, his eyes scanned your torn clothes, the filth all over you and your bandaged foot.

"...It's...it's not much, I was careless and..."

"Stop spouting nonsense. I saw those humans, the trio of evil. Just as I was about to go to Vargas, you vanished..."

"YOU SHOULD'VE SAID SOMETHING, HUMAN GIRL! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HELP WHEN YOU CANNOT EVEN TELL ME THE EASIEST AND SMALLEST THING?!"

"Sebek. That's not what she needs to hear right now."

OH YEAH?! WHY ARE YOU HOLDING HER UP LIKE A PRINCESS ANYWAY, WE MUST HURRY BACK AND PERFORM J U S T I C E."

You try to stop them but Sebek is adamant on tattleing telling everything to Vargas - and then speaking to the bullies himself.

How dare they do that to you?! Magicless being just trying to do her best! You're bleeding and they are the cause for it.

Silver on the other hand is focused on bringing you to a safe place and guarding you like the knight he promised to be for you - without daring to fall asleep once.

Silver kept on tending to your wound and accompanying you wherever you went, carrying when he deemed it necessary which was all the time.

He'd ask his animal friends to just...prickle him awake whenever he is close to dozing off. Not on duty!

He cannot let go of the 'milady' talk. It was like your words were a spell and the moment they left your lips, he has been in knight mode ever since. It's like a sixth sense. Other students look at you weird but he doesn't care.

Sebek is MARCHING over to Vargas, pointing to the bullies and the contemptuous things they've done. He will gladly take them on via court system style, justice will prevail!

After that he will sure yell their ears off on how disgusting they are and alllll the other thoughts and opinions he has of them. Will surely bring in you into the conversation a lot and how you felt, kind of indirectly letting everyone know of his feelings for you.

"THIS HUMAN GIRL MAY BE MAGICLESS, CARELESS, AND HANGS WAY TOO MUCH OUT WITH WAKA-SAMA BUT SHE TRIES HER BEST AND IS MUCH MORE WONDERFUL THAN ANY OF YOU; THAN ANYONE WHO IS ATTENDING THIS TRIP! - E-EXCEPT W-WAKA-SAMA, OF COURSE...!"

Will hover over you like a protective mother hen. Makes sure you rest well, eat and drink enough. Will often fight with Silver during the trip on what is considered 'good enough' for you.

Sebek will start screaming and Silver tries to calm him down, his yelling is stressing you and you've been through enough.

The rest of the trip is just having these two protectively glued to you.

EDIT: I JUST HAD AN IDEA AT WORK

When you explain yourself why you are belittling yourself, Silver will softly but sternly tell you that it's not true. Will give objective truths and past actions of yours to prove that you are worthy of being here. And...that you are liked very much.

When you say these things while he carries you, he will press your head to his chest as he proves you wrong. His voice is soft and his breath fawns on the crown of your head.

When you say these things while just sitting there and him listening he might take your hand, 'milady' and absent-mindedly is about to kiss it - before Sebek slaps it away and reminds him that he may be awake but is sure daydreaming to go that far!

Slightly jealous but also just doesn't want Silver to go beyond boundaries.

Sebek on the other hand has a hard time not yelling at you while telling you you're wrong. His face gets sweaty and progressively more red as he tries to keep his feelings subtle and not tell you too much of what he thinks of you. It's almost impossible though.

Unlike Silver, Sebek proves you wrong by telling you how he sees you. What are you talking about?! For a magicless girl you are hardworking! Studious👏! Helpful👏! WONDERUL👏! NICE TO YOUR PEERS👏! VERY PRETTY- augh, he said too much.

A fellow enjoyer of mairuma who likes reading others headcanons/interpretations here! just thought I'd share my own headcanons

1.) I think the misfits lack parental validation from one or more parental figures so they seek that validation from someone else, like Kalego. He, as their homeroom teacher, knows full well what they're capable of and actively gives them harder challenges to further bring out their potential. So I think the misfits would seek near impossible tasks not just for the fun of it, but to receive validation from someone they look up to.

2.) I believe that Kalego shows his love in pride. And when I say love, I mean all love; familial, romantic, platonic, and the kind that you know is there but don't have a name for. I guess a good example would be Balam, his closest friend and well-respected researcher. Balam would have achieved great things in his field of research and Kalego would be very proud of him for it, though I doubt he would explicitly show it. The same would go for his students. A mix-match group of kids who have, more than once, taken the impossible and made it reality while proving him wrong every chance they get.

(also a small group of demon plus one human children have better cooperation skills than most adult demons. yes demons are self-centered but i do think its really funny.)

I have been fully focused into my classes and college recently since I’m in my third year (we’re so close to the finishing line yall) but YES I love this!! One, I appreciate you sending me this since I haven’t done a post for a while! I promise im still here and I’m keeping up with the recent chapters 🫡. But yeah, I just love Kalego as a character. Like, he really is my favorite because I love a rude and snide character who you can tell cares a lot. Even if he won’t tell you that.

Kalego cares deeply for his students. Like sure, they annoy him and are goofballs. But at the end of the day, he is also protective of them. He knows they can accomplish great things and that’s why he’s hard on them, it’s not due to a lack of love. His pride is his way of showing affection. He will do his damnest to make sure you succeed and through his little actions, the characters can tell that he’s proud of them too. It’s the little moments with Kalego that make them know he does deeply care for them.

And yes, I also have a head cannon that for many of the misfits, they are lacking in some sort of parental or familiar love. Obviously we can’t say this for certain for all the characters, but it just feels like that’s why, no matter how much they complain about him, he also means a lot to them too.

As for my other head cannons… One head cannon I have (with the little info we have so far) is that Elizabetta grew up similarly to that little girl from Ouran Host Club, ya know the sister of the black magic club president? That is to say, I think she’s loaded but was primarily raised by her maids who gave her a lot of the romance books to keep her entertained. I think her parents were never really around. A lot of them you saw the parents, a back shot or their torso. Something. We even saw Kalego call some of the parents. But her parents just wasn’t in the frame and she just kept showing him the things in her room which gives me the feeling she had a lot of material goods they bought her, but maybe not their affection. We also don’t see any adult when we learn about her ambition. Which is why I think she’s so attached to love, she is reaching for a connection she may not feel she has with her parents. And maybe in a way, she’s wants to build a family that will actually appreciate her the way she wants. Which to me makes the relationship to the misfits even more special because she finally has the love and pride of her found family. Idk, just a silly head cannon I have based on current knowledge!

Kage knows this and constantly corrects him and makes fun of him for it and it pisses ben off so much

What pissed him off even more was when he found out kage can speak and understand english perfectly fine (it was quiet literally like that one sound)

so this month had to be something a little less dangerous

kinda funny when u think about it like it’s literally the avengers they’re in dangerous situations all the time

and while you wanted to do something different, certain ~forces~ kept preventing that

like y’all were watching a movie a couple weeks ago

and fury came on the screen

how he could hack into it idk hes nick fury dude he can do anything

but he just looked at the camera and said “no more dumbass trampoline parks”

HAH

so yeah it had to be something tame

anyway so this month was you and scott!!!!

best duo ever!!!!!!

so you had to plan what to do

& scott refused to go skydiving bc that was your first choice

smh scott it would be so fun!!!!

his arm was still broken & he said that was why he wouldn’t go but like…. scott we know ur a scaredy-cat

anyway you were trying to decide when suddenly he was like

“y/n!!!! i totally forgot! the great british baking show just premiered and i promised clint we could watch it together!”

and that gave you an idea

first of all, u needed baking supplies

when i say baking supplies i mean BAKING SUPPLIES

scott almost got one of those instacart orders for it but u hated the thought of an instacart person getting ur crazy order

so it was store time :D

let’s just say tony’s credit card was used very well that day 😛

then it was time to pick teams

not everyone had to participate

so pietro joined too which was slightly concerning

the man literally burnt a bowl of cereal once

you, natasha, and vision were the taste & presentation judges

you surveyed scott’s & your work, pretty proud of how it turned out

“ALRIGHTY THEN, READY, SET, OFF THE BLIMEY!!”

vision shot you a quizzical look, but you just shook your head.

scott & clint rly were a…. hosting duo

the hostiest hosters to ever host

omg the funniest thing was that they kept eating the cookie dough from harley peter & miles’ station

they literally had to push them away

peter & miles webbed their hands shut HAHA

everyone else seemed to be doing pretty well though

aside from their usual arguing, bucky & sam seemed to actually be making something good

wanda was perfect as per usual

and pietro was zipping around the kitchen, causing tony’s flour to rise up in his face

steve came over, blowing a whistle and pointed at pietro

you and scott had enlisted him to be the referee

yes, cooking shows don’t normally have referees, but think abt the ppl we’re dealing with here 😀

anyways finally time was up!!!

but you and scott still had a trick up your sleeves.

“and now presenting our special guest judge… GIVE IT UP FOR NICK FURY!!”

yes that’s right, he had said yes to this

after you promised to finish a mission report for him

and bought him some new eyepatches

which was why he was wearing a navy blue one complete with rhinestones

pietro was up first, and he placed four slices of chocolate cake in front of all the judges.

“i gotta say p, this actually looks really good!” you spoke, and he beamed.

natasha didn’t look so sure

“as y/n says, it does look alright on the outside. however, it does seem like there’s some sort of… strange ingredient in the chemical makeup… i am going to analyze for a moment.” said vision

“aw, let’s just eat the damn thing already!” fury spoke, and so you all did.

“mm, it’s good!!” you said, and natasha nodded in agreement.

but did not have the same reaction.

he had stopped chewing, and his eye had narrowed. he was giving pietro a death stare.

“uhm… fury? what is … jolly wrong with you?” scott asked, his british accent wavering.

“yeah… guv’nr?” said clint.

“who the hell puts hot sauce in a damn chocolate cake. you better start runnin’ maximoff, because i’m comin’ for you!!” fury spoke, getting progressively louder.

“that one was supposed to be for y/n- i mean vision! yeah! oops. um…” pietro spoke, before disappearing from the room in a quick streak.

after that, fury left.

and that's why now cooking/baking competitions are banned on the premises of SHIELD!!

I thought you'd never say in your life that you like someone more than 2D characters.~ ♡ — As usual, you were going to walk past Asmodeus room to go downstairs for dinner. But when a snippet of dialogue reached your ears from behind the slightly open door, you couldn't contain your curiosity and stopped.

— ROFLMAO, dude, it's not that serious. I mean, like, lol, I think about them more often than about Ruri-chan and my heart beats DISGUUUUUUSTINGLY fast, but, lol, bro.

— Yes, yes, I understand! Shut up, please, you fucking otaku. — You heard irritated notes in Asmo head and could have sworn that right now he rolled his eyes. — I realized that you're just a fucking tsundere and I'm very happy for you and your feelings, but what do you need FROM ME?

The room suddenly becomes quiet, after which the surprised cry of the Avatar of Lust is heard.

— Is it possible that you want to... SEDUCE THEM? I can literally feel the waves of lust coming from you!!!~

— WHAT??? D-DUDE, YOU'RE TALKING NONSENSE! I don't understand why I came to you at all, damn it...

The next moment Levi ran out of Asmodeus' room, coming face to face with you. His cheeks turned a deep red and he cried out.

— MC? W-what are you doing here?! Did you hear everything?

— What? What are you talking? — You innocently blinked, for some reason deciding to lie. — I was just passing by and was going to invite Asmo to dinner.

— Really? — He exhaled. — It's relief. THAT IS, NOT THAT I HAVE ANYTHING TO HIDE AT ALL, BUT.

— I understand. So are we doing?

— Yes. Sorry.

After dinner, you were sitting together in Levi's room when he turned on a series of new anime.

Recently overheard conversation did not come out of your thoughts. «Is it possible that he was talking about me? Then Levi is in love with me? It's so presumptuous, but...». You stole a glance at the demon, who was completely focused on the screen. Cheeks slightly reddened at the thought that he could share your feelings and you mentally thanked the Avatar of Envy for not looking at you now.

On the other hand heart tingled unpleasantly from the realization that he could well be talking about someone from the Internet or about some kind of idol.

— It's just incredible, MC! The plot captures from the first minutes, you like it, right?

— Mm? What? Oh, yeah. I... like it, — there's no need to specify what you're talking about.

Suddenly, your head falls gently on Levi's shoulder. You feel him flinch at the unexpected touch, and you are sure that now the demon's cheeks are absolutely red, but he no longer screams and pulls away as before.

Out of the corner of your eye, you notice how he awkwardly licks his lips and clenches his palms into a fist. It's so cute that you almost want to tease him and do something more awkward, but you're afraid that your date (Levi, of course, denies that this is a date) will end in something like a faint.

— Oh, it seems that the best part of this series is about to begin, isn't it? — This is an absolute lie. You're not a bit interested in what's happening on the screen right now and all your attention is focused on the demon in front of you.

— Did you watch without me?! In any case, it's still early for epic moments, but yes, it's not bad.

— Yes, it seems interesting.

The Avatar of Envy smells like a sea breeze and you bite your lips. Does Levi think about you the same way you think about him? Is it possible to check at least a little bit?

You suddenly nuzzle into his neck and exhale gently. You feel the demon straining next to you, but you are glad that he has not distanced himself.

— W-what are you doing, MC?! — The tone of his voice rises noticeably and it seems a little funny to you. You giggle and your breath tickles his skin.

— Sorry-sorry. Can you pause it? I just want sit this way for a little bit more.

He doesn't answer, but pauses the anime and you close your eyes. Something timidly touches your hand and you realize that it is Levi's hand. His fingers intertwine with yours and you squeeze his palm slightly so that he does not let go.

You sit like this for several minutes and no one dares to interrupt the silence that has come.

— Uhm... Levi? — You whisper his name softly and try not to pay attention to how he shrinks. — Can I say something?

— Of course... — You can hardly hear him.

A few more minutes of silence. You slowly lower Levi's arm and gently hug him.

— I love you. I love you. I love you. — You say it quickly and quietly before he understands the meaning of your words and actions.

— Ooh? WOW, MC?! Why are you saying this so suddenly?!?! — He tries to pull away, but you hug him a little tighter and he gives up.

— I'm sorry. I heard a little of what you were talking about with Asmo. To be honest, I'd like you to talk to him about me. I want to believe that you like me too. I don't want to give you to someone else.

Your voice is shaking. You imagined that you would say it more calmly, but now you clearly feel how scared you are. Your heart seems to freeze and you already regret what you said. It takes about a minute, but you don't get an answer. You're scared, so scared. You stop hugging and purse your lips. You look into Levi's face and see the shock frozen in his eyes. «Why did I say that? Why did I say that? Why am I... stupid stupid stupid».

— I'm sorry, I was probably too presumptuous when I thought you were talking about me. I'm sorry, should I leave?

You get up and turn your back to him, but before you take another step, Levi jumps up and suddenly puts his arm around your waist.

— Arghh, you!! You damn it normie!! — You can't see the face, but for some reason you are absolutely sure that he blushed. — It's me... I lo... Me too.. I feel the same way! If this isn't a joke, then I don't understand how you can love someone as pathetic and as vile as me. I've been talking to Asmodeus about you and I still don't understand. I don't think I deserve to hear such words from you if you're not joking. I just... Me too.... Damn!

You turn to face Levi and give him a quick kiss on the cheek to shut him up. It seems to work, because his already red face looks like a tomato, and you smile.

— AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, WHAT THE HELL?

He screams, takes a couple of steps back, stumbles and falls. There is no trace of your old fear and you giggle. The devil himself is tempting you to tease Leviathan a little more.

— Oh, I think I just remembered what Asmo said about "waves of lust"? What was he talking about?~

N/A: It turned out so-so, WELL, OKAY. But I find Levi incredibly cute, ahaha. I've been writing this for a fucking long time.

You had finally convinced your lover, Cyno, to take a day off doing anything that involved working, and so here you two were, at a corner upstairs in Lambad's Tavern. You, charmed by his god-awful jokes, and him, charmed by your rather contagious laugh thats somehow always funnier than his jokes (i think anything would be honestly).

"y/n?" he called your name. You looked up, humming in reply. He flipped through a notepad you gave him solely to jot down jokes that would only ever make you laugh (only due to how terrible it was that it became funny). "Let me read you this joke. I really think this is the one."

It was quite cute, to see him try to make an actual funny joke. You were quite skeptical, since he'd always say that every single time. And of course, they were absolutely terrible. You must've made an expression because he scoffed and replied with "I promise this one's actually funny. one last chance please." he begged.

You sighed. "Alright alright.." you gave him the green light. Immediant regret.

"Why are colds bad criminals?" he asked. He was sure that this one would be a hit. "I'm not sure, why?" you asked, already preparing for the worst.

"Because they're easy to catch!" he gave a slight grin, but then it faded away. You, once sitting on the chair across from Cyno, was now d y i n g on the floor. Of laughter of course. You had a rather loud laugh, and it was quite contagious. That or everyone else was too scared of the general and decided to laugh along with you.

Tears were falling out of your eyes as you were laughing so hard. "Oh my god!" you laughed. He could already tell this joke was a fail as well. "Stop laughing y/n.." he was extremely flustered. And he was so so sure that this joke was the one!

"I-I'm sorry" you apologized, yet continuing to cackle. You had to take in deep breaths and pinch yourself to try and stop laughing. And of course, you couldn't stop laughing no matter what.

Cyno let out a rather loud chuckle, perhaps from his defeat or the spreading warmth in his cheeks making him laugh because well, your laugh was just so full of joy (coming from his god awful joke). He sunk down in his chair, crossing out that joke. Perhaps he should try a knock-knock joke next time?...

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Iwai

Honestly, he hasn't really given much thought to settling down. Probably wouldn't mind it if he met the right person, but he's pretty content with his life right now. Not to mention, Kaoru is his priority, even if the kid is growing up pretty fast.

He isn't really one to cook a lot, most of what he gets is takeout or something from a konbini. Cleaning is something he's a lot better at. He's not a huge fan of doing laundry though just because he remembers how tedious that was back in his Yakuza days, but he still doesn't mind.

Sojiro

Sojiro has thought about settling down in the past, but that was with Wakaba. Those days have passed and he tries not to dwell on it too much. Right now, he's just enjoying life and taking care of Futaba. Like with Iwai, if the right person comes along then he wouldn't mind settling down, but he's also content where he is.

Ha, is Sojiro good at cooking? If Le Blanc has anything to say about it and his customers, yeah he's pretty good at cooking. Even if curry is his specialty, he can also make other dishes that he'd love you to try. Sojiro is also good at cleaning. Doing the dishes are his specialty as well. He's been a single dad for a while so he's had to do a quite a bit of other forms of cleaning as well.

Yoshida

I mean, he's an old man. His days of being in his prime are ending. Retiring from his political life and settling down is something that he'd like. If he can find someone that would take him despite the fact he's an old man and his rather busy political career, then he wouldn't mind settling down.

Yoshida can make some dishes, but with how busy he is, it's easier to just go out to eat or get takeout. He does enjoy cleaning though. It's a nice relaxing thing that helps him wind down a bit. His knees and back aren't what they used to be though so having to bend down or other things while cleaning is a bit of a chore for him.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Iwai probably doesn't say it until he's 100% certain about his feelings. Only when he's sure that he wants to commit completely to you and this relationship is when he'd drop that word.

I can see Sojiro using that word when it comes to things you do ("I love how much of a dork you are" etc), but saying the big three words will take a bit from him. Just because he also wants to be sure about his feelings, but he does confess faster than Iwai would.

Yoshida says those words after a few serious dates with you when he knows his feelings are very strong. He's getting old, he doesn't want to hold back how he feels.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Iwai isn't the best around children, or at least he thinks he isn't. But for some reason, kids like him. Maybe it's because older kids think it's cool that he owns a model gun shop (even though he's chased many of them away) and younger kids see him as a protector. Iwai doesn't mind kids (he does have Kaoru), but having more children isn't really something on his mind.

Sojiro likes to be a cool grandpa uncle when it comes to kids. I feel like he prefers younger kids because they're adorable and he can tell all the cheesy jokes and stories and they'll look at him in awe. He's also dealt with enough mouthy teenagers (Joker, Futaba). He feels like he's getting too old for more kids, but he does find them cute.

Yoshida does enjoy kids. He tells them stories and likes to hear them talk. He chose his career so he can help give the younger generations hope and a good future so he does enjoy seeing kids happy. Probably wouldn't have kids of his own just because he's so old. Isn't opposed to adoption, however. Wouldn't mind adopting an older kid either, there's a lot of teens that should have a happy family too.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Iwai

He doesn't mind commitment if that's what you want. He wouldn't really think about marriage unless you mentioned it though. You two are close and he loves you, but he doesn't really think about needing to put a ring on your finger since you both are pretty much married without anything official.

So legally getting married is something that he doesn't really think about doing unless you want to. Kaoru might pressure him about at least getting a ring for you, but Iwai doesn't need the big ceremony.

Sojiro

He jokes about being a ladies man and wanting to be single to be in his gray fox era (which has definitely passed). But he does very much commit himself to you. He already acts like a doting husband with making sure to cook for you constantly, giving you kisses before you leave and when you come back, things like that. Marriage is definitely on his mind once you've been together for a while and Futaba has already given her blessing.

Would definitely ask you about your own opinion towards marriage though. While he would love to go pick out a ring with you, he wants to make sure that it's something you want too.

Yoshida

He would love to get married, but it really depends on his partner. He's getting older and while he wants to find the one to live the rest of his life with, he also doesn't want to propose too fast or have them stuck with someone that's not going to be able to give them everything they want in a relationship.

That said, if you agree, then he'll propose to you on one of your anniversaries. Probably waits at least a year for you two to be together before he does ask the question.
