MCU shouldn’t have gone with a ‘you’re stronger than you realized’ type plot for Loki that’s rubbish instead they should have gone for the ‘yeah no sorry I don’t know what I’m capable of you may wonder why but it’s because I’ve been exhausted this whole time yeah just not functioning right between the sleep issues the torture and the making sure Thor stays alive and that last ones been going on for a long time now’

Out of My System Pt 7
Summary: Loki doesn't understand Thor's attraction to Midgardians. Until he meets you.
Pairing: Avenger Loki x F. Reader
Warnings: Angst. Pregnancy.
W/C: 846
A/N: Sorry this is so short! I’ve been crazy busy with the Whore-O-Ween stuff.
Out of My System Masterlist
You were shaking with excitement. Odin had agreed to let you visit Asgard on Loki and Thor’s next trip. You didn’t know what you were most excited about, meeting his mother or seeing the place where he grew up.
There was also another reason you were excited. You were hiding a pretty big secret. You had found out earlier in the week that you’re pregnant. You weren’t exactly keeping the news from Loki, you just wanted to find the right time to tell him. You thought that the opportunity would present itself on your trip.
Frigga was everything you imagined and so much more. She welcomed you with open arms. You loved her already. As soon as she saw you, she gave you a knowing smile. A mother always knows. Loki left the two of you alone to talk, and she asked if he knew the second he walked out.
She was almost more excited than you. The next day, she gifted you with Asgardian baby gowns in Loki’s colors. You hid them in your bag so Loki wouldn’t find them. You walked around the palace after you ate looking for Loki.
You stumble upon Sif and another lady. “Have you seen Loki?” “He was seen in the garden with Rose earlier.” She smirked and you thanked her, making your way to the garden. “Poor dear, Loki brought her all the way from Midgard and he’s already seeing someone behind her back. He and Rose used to be an item centuries ago. You know what they say, old flames die hard.”
You couldn’t believe what she was saying. You were only a few steps away, surely they meant for you to hear it. But you knew Loki, and he wouldn’t cheat on you. You hurried outside, spotting Loki sitting on a bench with Rose. You could hear her obnoxious giggle as she climbed into his lap.
Shocked, you got on your hands and knees crawling to a nearby bush. You hid behind it so you could spy on them. There had to be a logical explanation for why she was in his lap. Maybe she got hurt and he was helping her.
“A Midgardian, Loki? I thought even you had standards. She’s not even that pretty. You could have your choice of any Asgardian woman. Why don’t we go back to my cottage? It will be just like old times. I’ll do that thing you like.” She purred.
You shake with anger. How dare she? You peak through the bush waiting for Loki’s response. This should be good. He wouldn’t let anyone say anything bad about you. Loki takes her loose curl between his fingers placing it behind her ear. “That’s quite a tempting offer-“
Rage consumes you. You stand, giving away your hiding spot. You stomp over to them, not caring how crazy you looked. If looks could kill, they would both be dead. “Darling, what are you -“ You don’t give Loki the chance to finish. “Get your ass up!” You shout at her. She looks from you to Loki. This must be how Bruce feels when he turns into the Hulk. Damn these pregnancy hormones. You grab Rose’s arm and sling her to the ground.
“Oh!” She shouts as her body lands hard with a thud. “Loki, please help me, she’s assaulted me!” She whines. Loki takes one step toward her, but stops when he sees how angry you are. “You’re lucky that’s all I did!” She gets up with a huff, running in the opposite direction.
“Darling, I can explain. It’s not what it looked like.” Your hand meets his cheek before you can think. He brings his hand to it, shocked. “What’s the matter with you?” He questions. “Me? What about you? I heard her trashing me and you didn’t defend me once! She propositioned you, Loki. An offer I heard you accept.” He places his hand on yours, and you jerk away from his touch.
“I was so foolish to think this could work, that I’d ever be enough for you. You didn’t even like Earth women, Loki. I don’t know why I thought I was any different.” You fight back tears, refusing to let him see you cry. “You better go after her.”
You sob the entire way back to Loki’s chamber. Hand on your non-existent baby bump, you think of all that could’ve been, all that he had ruined. “It’s just you and me from now on. I’m sorry your dad’s such an asshole. I’ve always had horrible taste in men. I just thought he was different.” You cried harder remembering that you slapped him. “I’m going to give birth in Asgardian jail because I assaulted Prince Jackass!” You wailed.
Loki gave you some time to calm down. He knew he couldn’t talk to you when you were so angry. He was about to refuse Rose’s advances and defend you when you popped out of the bushes like a mad woman.
“Mother, have you seen her? I’ve been looking everywhere.” Frigga frowned at him. “She went back to Midgard, Loki. Thor accompanied her per my request.” Loki runs a hand through his hair looking frustrated. “Why would you send Thor? Why wouldn’t you send for me?” He shouted. Frigga placed a dainty hand on her son’s shoulder. “You’ve done enough today. What were you thinking? You should have known what it would look like.”
When he reached his chambers, he noticed you left your bag. He missed you and he wasn’t sure if he could fix this. You were so angry with him, and you had every right to be. He decided to go through your bag, hoping to find something that smelled like you.
He picked out a hoodie, bringing it to his nose for comfort. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his colors. He knew you didn’t have anything like that, so his curiosity got the best of him. He lifted the small items out of your bag. Realizing what they were, he was shocked.
He thought back, remembering how you had gotten sick smelling your favorite food. You were sick quite often lately, but you told him it was a stomach flu. Why hadn’t you told him? Perhaps you didn’t want a child with him. You hadn’t been dating for very long. A child would change your relationship. One thing was for certain, he had to get back to you.

I know who you pretend I am
Loki x Female Reader (Thor x reader)
18+ | contains character death, mourning, smut, angst - it’s literally like 3 in the morning but I just had this idea and HAD to get it out so I could sleep peacefully 😂 apologies in advance for my grammar or anything, it’s late.
Tumblr media
“It should have been you.” You wept, tears blurring your vision as you stormed towards Loki, digging your finger into his chest. “It should have been you.” You continued to cry, your fists clenching before you nudged him backwards, Loki unwavering as you took your frustrations out on him. It should have been him, he agreed. Given the chance he would have switched places with Thor, he had so much more to live for, he had you and now you were alone, he was alone. “You promised” you sniffled against Loki’s chest, his hand ghosting your back as he contemplated whether you’d find the gesture comforting or smoldering if he was to place it there “you said he’d come back safe.” You almost whispered, your cries silent now as your shoulders shook. Making his mind up, Loki placed his hand on your back, pulling you into him as he fought down his own emotions allowing you to grieve.
It wasn’t long before you grew tired, body limp in Loki’s grip as he supported you, almost carrying you to your bedroom. Once you both reached, he pulled the duvet back, stepping away from you as you got into the bed. Standing at the door, Loki’s gaze lingered on you for a moment as he imagined how you’d cope from now on. He knew you felt alone now but he was certain you weren’t. He promised he’d look after you, regardless of how much you pushed him away; it was his final promise to his brother and he was intent on keeping this one.
Going into his own room, Loki almost collapsed onto his bed as the emotions he had been keeping down began bubbling to the surface. When it first happened, he felt shocked, angered, an anger that turned into a bloodbath of revenge as he took it from every hopeless soul that stood in his way before coming face to face with the one who took Thor’s life. He brought death to the wicked creature slowly, leisurely, the act almost making him smile as he began to feel relief before it dissipated. He had gotten his revenge but Thor was still dead. At least he’d be able to tell you that Thor’s death had been avenged. He knew you wouldn’t ask straight away but the question would come eventually, now he’d be able to tell you exactly how he got his revenge. For now, he could all but cry and keep his promise to Thor.
“Promise me you will not leave her.”
“Thor I—”
“Brother, promise me you’ll look after her.”
“I promise.”
The next day came however you didn’t move. You remained still, in bed, silent tears running down your cheeks as you begged to be awoken from this nightmare. You didn’t speak, nor did you the next day, or the next. By the end of the week, your voice was hoarse as you told a concerned Loki to leave you alone.
The following week was a little bit kinder to you. The sun shone for what felt like the first time, warming your cheeks and covering them with a new sensation, hope. You stood up and walked towards the window allowing more of the sun to stroke your face. You smiled, it was almost painful, the muscles in your face not remembering the gesture. Just as you were about to close your eyes and bask in the yellow glow, the door knocked.
“Can I come in?” Loki spoke from outside, holding a tray of food like he had been doing the past two weeks however this time, you allowed him in. Loki pushed the door open, gaze focused on your bedside table where he sat the tray down before realising you weren't in bed. Glancing up, he saw you standing at the window, eyes closed as the sun cast an ethereal glow around you. Cautiously he approached you, unable to stop the small smile that formed on his lips as he saw your face. He realised he had almost forgotten what you looked like, it had been so long since he had seen you. The mission he embarked on with Thor was a long one and the only time he saw your face when he came back was when there was fury and desolation painted across it unlike now. Now he was looking at a different you, a healed you, a new you. He could see the sadness lurking beneath your smile, the heartbreak, the woe but he could also see the determination of your tense body trying to keep those emotions at bay.
“It’s a nice day.” You spoke, the first normal sentence you had said in what felt like forever.
“Yes.” Loki agreed, turning his focus to outside as he stood next to you.
“I think I’m going to take a walk.” You said evenly, opening your eyes and glancing at Loki who had his eyes closed.
“I could come with you, if you’d like.” He suggested, unsure of how you’d respond. A thick silence settled between you both as Loki awaited your answer. You wanted to say no, you wanted to hate him, blame him, hit him but you knew he mourned too. You could hear him sometimes, in the silence of the night, sleep plagued with terror before he’d wake up gasping or more painfully, calling out for Thor. It was those times you remembered that you may have lost your beau but Loki had lost his brother. He was hurting too. No doubt feeling alone too. So you said yes and soon, the two of you went on a walk.
The walk was quiet, both of you silent as you wandered through the local park letting the sun coat your skin. It felt nice to be outside. The sound of people around you drew you out of the recluse part of your mind and you let yourself forget about your own life for a moment as you focused instead on the sound of laughter. It was blissful. You were content in this new reality until Loki quickly spun you around causing you to snap back to reality.
“Let’s go this way.” He insisted.
“What are you doing?” You huffed, moving out of his grip and turning around before you were met by a large poster advertising Rogers which was seemingly a new musical. You instantly teared up as you looked at the depiction of Thor, Loki placing his hand on your shoulder. “Stop!” You snapped, moving out of his grip and towards the poster. Reaching it, you ran your fingers across his name as tears began brimming in the corners of your eyes.
“Y/n I’m sorry.” Loki apologised, standing next to you.
“It’s not your fault” you replied, Loki’s eyes rounding as he heard your words. He knew you only meant the poster but it was comforting nonetheless. “None of it is your fault.” You added, Loki’s gaze turning to yours as he heard you. He couldn’t help himself as his lip began to tremble before he cleared his throat, composing himself. “I’m sorry for how I’ve treated you.”
“You don’t need to apologise.” He insisted.
“I’m so sorry” you whispered, turning to face him as a tear rolled down your cheek “I just—I miss him and I feel so alone.”
“Y/n” Loki began, wiping the tear from your cheek “you are not alone.” He insisted, pulling you against him as he hugged you and for once since it happened, you didn’t feel alone.
The next few months were slow as you and Loki began building a friendship, seeking company in one another’s presence. Occasionally he’d cook and the two of you would eat together. The first time was awkward, neither of you knowing what to say but now it was almost routine. You began looking forward to dinner with Loki.
More months passed and the both of you grew more comfortable around eachother in the sense that neither of you hid your emotions anymore. There were times you woke up in a good mood and others you woke up feeling as if Thor had just been taken away from you. Those mornings, the teary ones, Loki was always there to calm you, to reassure you, to hold you. You returned the favour, aiding him at night when he’d awake gasping for air. You’d sometimes tell him a short story about something you had experienced, he liked those, they soothed him. Both of you often shared your memories about Thor, both of you finding solace in them.
As it approached the anniversary of Thor’s death, the two of you grew quiet again, neither of you wanting to face the fact that it had been a whole year without him. You almost felt guilty remembering all the times you had smiled since his passing, the times you had laughed, the short moments where you had forgotten him all together and allowed yourself to simply exist. They made you feel peccant. You knew Loki felt the same; he stopped cooking, he stopped speaking to you. You missed him. Before, it seemed impossible to live in the same place as someone and to almost forget their face yet that’s how you felt about Loki, you had forgotten his face, his smile, his warming company. You had to fix this so you decided you’d cook for a change.
Smelling something burning from his room, Loki quickly rushed to the kitchen, grabbing the fire blanket and tossing it over the small fire you had started on the stove.
“I’m such an idiot” you scolded yourself “I just wanted to make something for us to eat but I’ve ruined it.” You continued. Loki could tell you were growing very upset.
“Calm down.” He tried to soothe you.
“No!” You exclaimed, throwing the utensil you had in your hand at the wall “I just wanted to—to surprise you. I wanted us to eat together and n—now I’ve—” you stuttered, beginning to cry.
“Its okay” Loki smiled, holding your cheeks in his hands as he got your attention “how about I clean up and you can order food?” He suggested.
“Where have you been Loki?” You murmured, looking into his eyes “I’ve missed you, where have you been?”
“I’ve been right here.” He answered.
“No” you sniveled, “you haven’t.”
Loki had to blink back his own tears as he looked down at you, you looked so forlorn, he had abandoned you. He had unknowingly pushed you away so much and he regretted it, deeply.
“Loki” you uttered “I need you.”
Your words reverberated through his body as he tried to process the meaning behind them. Before he could stop himself, he was leaning into you, pressing his lips softly against yours. He hated himself, he knew that you were going to push him backwards and maybe even slap him or at least he thought you would. He was shocked when you pulled away for a moment before standing on your tiptoes and capturing his lips in a passionate kiss. His hands found your back as he pulled you against him, deepening the kiss. Your hands flew up to his hair, running your fingers through the tame, obsidian tendrils causing Loki to almost shiver. You felt perfect underneath his hands. Pushing you backwards, Loki sat you on the dining table, standing between your legs as he continued kissing you. His lips ventured to your neck, your chin tilting up towards the ceiling granting him further access as he pulled at your shirt, wanting to kiss more of your skin.
His lips met yours again with a newfound ferocity as your fingers worked his belt buckle before undoing it. Loki pushed your legs further apart as you lifted your skirt after pulling your panties down your legs. He was quick with pulling his cock out of his boxers and guiding it straight to your moist centre.
Both of you exhaled as he pushed inside, your tight walls clenching around him already; it had been so long. He moved in and out of you at a steady pace, both of you reveling in the feeling of something as habitual as sex. Your eyes were closed tightly, Loki’s were open. He regarded you with laudation in his eyes, it made him feel iniquitous. He had to stop himself from moaning your name as your hands found his back, traveling underneath his shirt where your nails drew harsh lines. Your legs wrapped around his, holding him in place, inviting him further inside. In this moment, for the first time, he felt whole. You completed him.
“Fuckk” you moaned, Loki speeding his thrusts as he heard you. You sounded seraphic in this moment. “Right theree” you mewled, nails digging into his shoulders; it was a thrilling pain “just like that” he was certain your voice alone could drive him to completion “Thorrr” you whimpered, your voice sounding unmelodious to him now.
Your eyes flew open as you realised your blunder. Your gaze met Loki’s as he paused his movements.
“I’m sor—” you began.
“No, I’m sorry” he quickly apologised, pulling out of you “I got carried away.”
“Loki wait.” You called after him, pulling your skirt down as you stood. “Don’t leave me.” You added worriedly causing Loki to stop in his tracks.
“Y/n, you’ve always got me.” He assured, turning around to face you. “Just not like that” he added quietly “it was too soon, I’m sorry.” He apologised again before leaving you standing horrified in the middle of the kitchen.

This marks the beginning of Part Two of This Love.
Warnings: Slight references to male masturbation and dirty dreams. Nothing wild.
Asgard 2013
"Are you sure you want this?"
"Hush, Fandral, she can make her own decisions."
"Yeah,  I can make my own decisions, and I  have decided to change it to blue."
"HA! You're such an idiot!" Volstagg cheered, slamming his final card to the table which erupted into loud groans
Astri and her friends had been playing a Midgardian game Thor had brought back from New York, it was called Uno and Astri was inherently terrible at it.
"He can not keep winning like this," Hogun said tossing his hand into the middle of the table.
"He has to be cheating," Sif whispered
"We could always rig the cards against him," Fandral suggested
"But then, is it a fair victory when one of us wins?" Astri asked
"It is if he hasn't been winning fairly this whole time." Sif pointed out
"Pass the cards out, I plan to win again." Volstagg declared
"Cheater," Fandral whispered as he dealt the cards again.

Loki didn't realize how mind-numbing his time in the dungeons would end up being. The first few weeks had been a blur, Frigga had sent furniture and books to him and he spent time rearranging and figuring out the best angle for his bed. Now, he was out of furniture to rearrange and the endless books were becoming boring. He had begun to stew over his loss on Midgard but felt his mind slipping away from his humiliation. As he lay there, he realized he missed the feel of the sun on his face and the way the wind would slightly blow through his chambers when he left the balcony doors open. Loki missed horseback riding through the dense forests of Asgard and the way the stars looked down at him at night when he couldn't sleep. Most of all though, he missed Astri and everything that came with her. He missed the way her laughter would carry through the castle when he made a bad joke. He could imagine the way her long hair would shine whenever the sun streamed into the huge library windows. Loki swore he could smell the soft scent of Astri's fruit-smelling perfume as he lay in his cell.
He couldn't believe she hadn't visited him yet. At first, he had presumed Odin had banned visitors but after asking Frigga who said Astri was free to visit him as much as she wished, he was saddened by her absence. Every day when his meals arrived he swore he heard the soft clicking of her shoes, instead he was met with the same guard over and over again. Loki tried to imagine what she could possibly be doing without him. They had spent nearly every waking moment together as they grew up. Was she with Thor or Sif? Was she rotting away in the library, learning a million different spells? Or perhaps she was with the Aesir fellow she had met in the damn markets? Loki had felt jealousy swirl in his stomach at the idea of the last one. Aesir wasn't necessarily terrible but he just seemed so droll. The way he just mindlessly complimented Astri whenever he saw her, it was like he was grovelling for her when they barely even knew each other. Loki doubted he even remembered what Astri wore each time they saw each other. Did Aesir know Astri's favorite foods and that she hated red flowers? Clearly not since he brought her bunches of them all the time and brought almond cakes when Atri clearly liked lemon better.
By the time his supper had arrived, he had decided that Aesir was possibly the most boring Asgardian who ever lived. Beyond his flat personality, he has terrible style. Loki had peered into Astri's mind the other night and found the most recent memories of Aesir. He had been dressed in the worst possible outfit. The way the silver in his armor contrasted against his skin made him look rather yellow. He felt Astri's embarrassment as they had strolled through the gardens when multiple handmaids had passed and giggled at Aesir.
"What's on your mind?" A soft voice asked
Loki swore he had never sat up quicker than in this moment.
"What's wrong, you look like you've seen a ghost." Astri asked, "Is there something on my face?"
"I didn't think you'd ever visit," Loki admitted crossing the cell to where the golden barrier separated them
"I wasn't planning on visiting today. I was going to make you sweat it out for a few more weeks but Volstagg was driving me insane and I needed a break." She explained
"What did he do that's annoying you so much?" Loki asked
"He keeps beating me at this Midgardian game Thor showed all of us." Astri sighed
Loki felt his mouth twitch slightly into a smile. Even though he wanted to be mad at her for not seeing him sooner, he was, as usual, finding it to be impossible to be angry with her.
"I also brought this..." Astri said pushing a tray of food through a designated spot in the barrier.
   "Aren't you hungry?" Loki asked
"No, Thor and I have been eating our suppers together for the past year and I swear spending time around him has fattened me up. It's like his huge stomach is affecting me too." Astri admitted
"I think you look great." Loki complimented, he felt jealousy roar in his chest at the idea of Astri sitting across from Thor in her chambers, laughing at jokes and eating her favorite cakes.
"Aesir said that a few days ago. I'm sure you already knew that though. You know you're not entirely undetected going through my mind like that at night. You show up in my dreams and that's how I know you're searching my memories, seeing what I've been doing with my days." Astri said
"Anyone has a right to know what their best friend is up to. And how else would I know when I thought you had resolved to never see me again." Loki countered, surprised that she was able to sense him.
"Oh please, you never thought that. You knew I'd show eventually." Astri knowingly said
Damn, she knew him well.
"Has it occurred to you that maybe I missed you?" Loki asked honestly
"It's crossed my mind. Although I'd like to think that you don't since then I'd feel guilty about not spending my every moment with you." Astri said
"Like we used to?" He asked
"Like we used to." Astri parroted with a soft smile that made Loki's heart beat just a little quicker.
Silence fell as he stared at the girl across from him. While she claimed to be fattening up with his "brother", he swore she had lost weight. Perhaps it was the lighting or maybe her dress was ill-fitting? No. Astri was definitely smaller than usual, her arms were normally more defined with muscle than they were now, exposed by a soft yellow gown she wore.
   "You're staring again," Astri said
"I haven't seen you since the cage on Midgard." He reminded "Forgive me if I'm trying to commit your face to memory. I don't know when you'll visit again."
"Maybe I will, maybe I won't," Astri said wistfully
She seemed sadder. As if someone had snuffed out her firey spirit Loki had come to love over the years.
"Would you be able to come tomorrow?" He asked
"What's in it for me?" She coyly asked
"I'll read to you for as long as you'd like." Loki promised.
"You're just tired of being bored in there," Astri said
"Oh, quite the opposite I'm having a wonderful time here." Loki lied
"You're not the only one going through their best friend's minds when they sleep" Astri smirked
When in the Nine Realms had she been doing that? Loki felt his smile falter as Astri laughed
"By the way, beyond your obvious boredom, your dreams of me undressing and then bathing are quite erotic. I feel bad for your hand, and the other prisoners." Astri laughed
That explains the dream he'd been having for the past week.
"You should not be going through my mind like that." He scolded, feeling his face redden
"Oh, and that gives you permission to go through mine?" She questioned
"What you saw is personal." He hissed, embarrassed at her knowledge of him
"Whatever you say, Loki." She laughed
God he missed that sound, it warmed the air around him and sent a smile to his face.
"I'll see you tomorrow. I hope whatever book you have is worth my time." Astri said standing
"You're leaving already?" Loki asked following her as she walked.
"It's getting late, I had a long day of losing to Volstagg. Plus I'm sure you need some alone time with your dreams of me." She teased
Loki felt his face go red, he was so embarrassed he bet even his ears were red.
"What a nice color on you, Loki!" Astri complimented before walking away
Loki sighed and watched Astri walk off, she was going to kill him one day. The funny thing was he'd be perfectly fine with it, dying for her no matter how ridiculous the reason.
Astri had barely closed the door to her chambers before Thor had her jumping out of her skin.
   "How is he?" Thor asked
"Don't scare me like that ever again."  Astri glared looking at Thor who was reclined on her bed
"Why? It's so fun." Thor smiled
"He's fine. He's bored and just as Loki as he has ever been." Astri said
Thor nodded as Astri walked to her vanity and began removing her jewelry and pulling pins from her hair.
"Aesir came calling when you were with Loki." He said
"Really? What did he want? I just saw him two days ago." She said
"Well, he left these." Thor gestured to a large red vase of flowers "I put them in water, no need to thank me."
Astri rolled her eyes, she definitely wasn't going to thank him.
"He say anything to go along with them?" She asked
"Well, he said his mother was going to make the almond cakes you liked last time and he said he wanted to take a horse ride through the forest in a few days time." Thor said
"How nice, I'll have to tell him I accept," Astri said picking her brush up
"Don't you hate red flowers, and you don't even like almond cakes, everyone knows you prefer lemon." Thor pointed out
   "Maybe I've changed," Astri said
She looked at Thor through the mirror who gave her a 'Are you serious?' stare.
"Okay, you got me, maybe I didn't tell him those things." She groaned
"They seem like important things," Thor said
"Pfft.... no." Astri laughed nervously, when did Thor become so observant?
Silence fell over the pair as Astri brushed through her hair and every few seconds glanced at Thor who seemed to be admiring her patterned bedspread.
"Did Loki ask about me?" Thor asked
Astri thought about lying to him to make him feel better. But what good were feelings if they came from lies that would just hurt later down the road?
"He didn't. Our conversation was rather trivial today." Astri admitted
   "Ah. Okay." Thor said
"I'm going back tomorrow night. Maybe he'll ask about you. If he does I'll tell him all good things." She said truthfully
   "You better." Thor smiled
"I should really get ready to sleep so if you could you know...leave," Astri said, a bit rudely
"I came to you to talk about something more important than Loki and Aesir," Thor said ignoring her request.
"And that is?" Astri asked turning to him
"My father has said that I am too taken with Jane. He's pointed out that I'm better served with what is in front me me here." Thor started
"He better not be suggesting we court," Astri interjected, worriedly
Thor's silence was her answer.
"We are not getting married. I would rather die." Astri groaned
"That was rather rude." Thor pointed out "You don't have to worry I'm not telling you this because I want to court you. I'm telling you because I don't think he's right, I want to be with Jane but I also want to do my duty to Asgard."
"You know you're not king yet," Astri said, relieved that Thor wasn't interested in her.
"What does that have to do with Jane?" He asked
"It means that you should go out and live. Who cares what Odin thinks is best?" Astri smiled
   "It's irresponsible." Thor pointed out
"When has Thor Odinson ever cared about responsibility?" Astri laughed
"Well there was that time I brought my brother back because he tried to take over Midgard." Thor pointed out
Okay he had her there.
"I am sure whatever is meant to happen will happen. If you end up with Jane, great! If not...well we aren't getting married but there's lots of other eligible maidens!" Astri said
"I suppose you are right..." Thor said
"I'm always right." She smiled "Now, get off my bed and leave so I can sleep, Volstaggs victories and Loki's silver tongue have worn me out."
Thor's eyebrow raised at the last statement from Astri.
"Astri! You don't want to court me yet you sneak around with my brother while he is locked away under the castle?! I ought to tell the whole kingdom!" He gasped, feigning a scandalized face.
"I didn't mean it like that, you idiot! I meant his wordy conversation is exhausting! Just go to your own room!" She blushed trying to pull him out of the bed.
Thor laughed and continued to laugh at her reddened face as Astri shoved him out the door and proceeded to slam it in his face. The Odinson brothers were surely going to drive Astri insane one of these days and hopefully, it wouldn't be for another thousand years.
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes movie has changed my entire life. Suzanne Collins cooked again.

Worthy (2015) | Chapter 31, "What Remains"
Disappearing sporadically in public spaces quickly becomes Cora Dempsey's least concerning problem when suddenly she captures the attention of the forming Avengers Initiative, the World Security Council, and Asgard's fallen prince all in one week. And the universe is only just getting started with her.
Worthy is a slow-burn SFW Marvelverse (films) romance between Loki and a female OC. For additional details on what canon is used, see the Prologue post.
Tumblr media
Summary: Cora helps clean up New York before returning to Asgard to find Loki and Thor.
Pairing: Loki x Fem!OC
Warnings: None
Word Count: 2.3k

"Ow, my god," Cora grumbled as her vision flashed again and she had to replant her claymore into the ground just to keep herself steady. The world rocked around her and even though it swerved visually and she got the sensation of a tilted axis, she knew it wasn't real. She scrunched her eyes closed until the feeling of being bent in different directions faded, only peeking when she thought she was on solid ground again.
New York was a wreck. She had a feeling it was even worse than just a few months ago, when Loki had been the one to lead the charge. She looked down at herself and watched her form waver faintly, shaking her head as she disregarded it and moved forward, her eyes hurting when they had to focus on what remained of Thanos. Based on the scorch marks the pavement had to offer, she could only imagine he'd gotten away, but what mattered was his absence and the Gauntlet that he'd left behind, now useless to him with the Soul Gem acting the way it was.
As she approached, a dull glow shone from the jewels within the Gauntlet and Cora glanced toward the green stone embedded in her sword. It radiated a gentle emerald light toward its brothers and the gems seemed to respond in almost perfect time to each other, in perfect synchronicity. She was so engrossed in the connection between the condensed powers, she startled when a loud thud sounded behind her, but she turned to find that it was Thor, landing from a flight with his weapon. "Has he gone?"
Cora's brow furrowed as she watched him walk closer. "I think so. He wouldn't have left this behind if he were still thinking of fighting…would he?"
"I doubt that highly," Thor agreed gravely, glancing toward the sky as the swirling storm clouds slowly began to dissipate. "However, it would be wise to keep watch for a day or two more. There is the potential for reinforcements."
"Did you see him?" she asked, glancing at the scorch marks once more. "He was in tatters… I don't think he'll be coming back any time soon, but you're right. Better safe than sorry."
"Where are the others?" Thor asked as Bruce ambled forward, back in human form and looking more than a little roughed up. "Banner. Are you alright?"
Bruce glanced up toward the sky and then back at Thor and Cora before giving a light shrug of his shoulders. "I've been worse. You two?"
"Fine," Cora answered after glancing at Thor, everyone's eyes going upward as the whirr of machinery could be heard overhead. She could've sighed with relief when she saw Tony beginning to charter down the rest of their team from their higher perches, the first group being Natasha, Clint, and Fury. He gave a small salute before going back for the others and Cora couldn't really remember a time when he hadn't had some snarky comment to offer. Then again, they'd just stopped an apocalypse. What was there really to be said?
"Well… I guess we won. Right?" Natasha supposed matter-of-factly, a pinch between her brows that smoothed when Thor gave her a mostly certain nod. "Except now the city's torn to bits. Again."
"Can the Tesseract fix it?" Cora asked.
"It is more than likely what we must use on the ground… The rest remains to be seen," Thor replied, glancing at Fury uncertainly.
Fury looked around at the damage and sighed heavily. "I'm fairly certain the Council will want as little to do with the Tesseract as possible, simply given what it was used to do last time. Go ahead and fix the street and I'm sure us lowly Midgardians can figure out the rest."
Thor smiled a little and shook his head. "We will be happy to help. Manually, if allowed."
"We could definitely use that kind of help," Fury said with a nod and a faint smirk.
"Incoming!" Tony shouted as he let everyone else down, excluding only Pepper. "I'm keeping this one," he commented before once again rocketing upward, Pepper's laughter faintly discernible over the sound of his suit's blasters.
Cora smiled and looked over, barely dodging as Jane sprinted toward Thor, jumping into his arms and holding on as he spoke to her, having to repeatedly reassure her that he was okay. That they were all okay. She noticed Sif nearby, looking all the more worse for wear, but alive and standing with the help of Fandral under one arm. When their eyes met, Cora gave her an inquiring look, to which Sif just shook her head, silently communicating that, at some point, she'd apparently had worse. Cora both believed and doubted that implication at once.
She didn't quite realize who she was looking for until she found him at the back of the group, already watching her. Cora hesitated before walking over, pausing to hug Steve and Phil, who both came forward to make sure she was fine. "Look at you. I can see it now, modern SHIELD agent with an ancient Asgardian heritage. They could make a movie about that!" Phil mused, once again trying to talk her into a field agent's life.
"Just call me Agent Braveheart," Cora joked with a roll of her eyes.
"Okay, William Wallace definitely didn't have a sword remotely close to this," Phil laughed at her.
"Dammit, man, I'm a warrior, not a historian!" Cora laughed, Phil grinning as he caught the reference. When they glanced at Steve, who clearly and understandably was not following, Cora reminded him of his list and kept going, hearing Phil start to try to explain the series behind her. She walked over and stopped in front of Loki, having to tilt her head back to look him in the eyes. "You alright?"
Loki nodded once, though his face—much like everyone else's and her own, included—was cut to hell. "Are you?"
Cora nodded as well. "I think so. After all, we did it."
"No," Loki said quietly, which alarmed Cora until he corrected her, "You did it."
She smiled and shook her head. "No, without—"
"Without you," he interjected, "nothing would be left. We had all given up. The prophesied Ragnarök would have come to be. You were the exception."
"That's a heavy implication," Cora said, her throat feeling a little dry at the weight of his words. Had her random act of nerve really come down to that much? Even as she wondered, she knew it had.
He smiled faintly, but his eyes were soft as he raised a hand to touch her cheek. "You have proven strong enough to carry it."
Cora smiled and gently placed her hand over his. "So, what now?"
Loki's smiled faltered a little and he contemplated that before answering, "We stay here to do what we may as far as damages go… And then I must go back to Asgard and awaken the King."
Cora's jaw clenched faintly and she murmured, "Can't Thor do that?"
"Only the one who seals away the ruler within the Odinsleep may awaken him," Loki answered simply, allowing his hand to drop slowly to his side. "And I must face what comes of this."
"Loki, what if he puts you back in that cell? Even after everything that you did today?"
Loki grimaced and shook his head. "Then at least I had this taste of redemption," he said, though the rationalization sounded weak.
Cora struggled for words, for some kind of answer, but nothing came. It seemed it was only in the hands of the Allfather now, because there truly was no sound choice but to wake him. Loki frowned down at the woman in front of him and all the turmoil on her features simply for his sake, sighing before he reached out and tugged her close, resting his chin atop her head. "Do not worry over me, Cora. The worst is over."
Cora exhaled somberly and leaned her head against his chest, but still, somehow deep down, she had doubts about that.
Loki took a deep breath to steady his own concerns about what was to come, but those thoughts were cut short when he glanced up at their allies, who were all staring at them apart from Fury, who'd had enough of the nonsense the day had to offer. He squinted at the looks he was being given, his eyes moving to Jane when she spoke. "Okay, Cora, forget everything I said before. You two are perfect."
Cora looked over her shoulder and groaned at the attention. "Oh, come on, guys…"
Loki glanced down at Cora with a quirked brow. "And what did she say before?"
"This is seriously worse than impending doom, can you all just stop?"
And despite it being at her expense, she was glad to hear her new friends laughing again.
Tumblr media
Over the next few days, the reconstruction of New York City began in full form, the ground mended by means of the Tesseract's reality-bending abilities, and SHIELD headquarters—which had likely gotten the worst of blows—slowly transitioning from disrepair. After being told that they had done all that was seriously needed, Thor and Loki went back to Asgard, taking the Gauntlet and all six stones with them. The Warriors Three had gone back days ago to get Sif and Fandral on the mend and Cora could only assume that, by now, at least, Odin was back on the throne. It wasn't him she was wondering about though.
"When are you heading back?" Jane asked conversationally as Cora helped her fix and contain some of the toppled equipment and spilled chemicals in the labs, having to be consistently instructed on which ones were okay to clean by hand and which ones would have to wait for the Hazmat suits later in the day.
"When I'm done here, I think," Cora said and the stress she was feeling translated into her tone, much to her distaste.
"I would've already been up there if I were you," Jane admitted, glancing at the other woman thoughtfully. "Then again, maybe it's a good thing. To give them some space for a while."
"I don't know what the better option is, to be honest," Cora sighed as she mopped up a small water spill from a quenching basin. "It's killing me to wait around though."
"You know, I'm kind of jealous of you," Jane admitted after a moment of silence.
Cora arched a brow. "Why is that?"
"Because you're like them. Not completely, but enough that you're an acceptable presence in their world. I got compared to a goat within my first few minutes of meeting Odin, but I'm sure you were at least tolerated. Treated like one of theirs, I mean. That's never going to happen for me."
Cora frowned and shook her head. "Jane, you're more than good enough for Thor. Lightyears past 'good enough,' in fact," she said, making Jane smirk a little in a knowing way. "He knows and values who you are. Nothing else matters, understand?"
Jane gave that some thought and nodded a little. "Yeah. I do."
"Good. Because you're a freaking genius and without you, we wouldn't have gotten the upper hand. Don't you dare start doubting yourself, because I'll be having none of it. None. Got it?"
Jane laughed and raised her latex-gloved hands in defeat. "Okay, okay!"
Cora laughed as well and glanced around to find something else to clean; however, before she could find a thing, Jane shook her head. "Nope. Go. Get out of here so we can both find out what the hell is going on."
"Thank you," Cora said quickly, ditching the lab coat, gloves and goggles she'd had on for the past hour or so for chemical spill cleanup. She hurried from the labs and walked through the halls to the exit, passing a few of her colleagues on the way, all of them knowing where she was going and wishing the best outcome. No one, including herself, however, seemed very confident.
Hurrying out into the mended street, which still had a few scars from the enormous fissures which had been carved into the surface, she took a moment to take in the cityscape, which honestly looked much better already than it had a few days ago. Troops had been sent in to help with repairs wherever necessary and even the World Security Council had shown its face in the meantime. Though they hadn't spoken to her, themselves, they had informed Fury that, given her usefulness in the peak of the Ragnarök, there would be no need to reinstate her sentence. One less thing to worry about.
Cora left behind her claymore in her room at headquarters and hadn't really touched it since the battle with Thanos, still sore from the multiple cuts and bruises that still throbbed on her skin. There was a sense of peace in the air though, she noticed as she went outside, and that was enough for her for now.
She frowned as the zipper of her jacket glittered faintly, but realization soon dawned as she looked up, seeing the first break in the overcast sky in four days' time. She heard a few whoops and cheers from nearby construction sites and cafés that still opened to run, the New Yorkers celebrating having the sun back. It almost felt like another little battle won, entirely.
With a careful inhalation that she breathed out slowly as well, Cora looked up at the sky and gave a small nod. "Ready when you are, Heimdall," she said in a sure voice.
The blue sky warped for just a moment before a familiar pillar of rainbow essence rushed her, enveloping her before giving a strong pull forward, bringing her back en route to Asgard.

Exactly two people asked, but two people did ask! So here are my Villain Coded Kids.
These six characters are a small fraction of the marvel fan fiction that I dreamed up when I was 12 years old. I daydreamed about them constantly, and they carved a little hole into my brain so I could never stop thinking about them. It’s been over five years. These guys are often stereotypical, several names come from fantasynamegenerator.com, and they were invented alongside a self-insert mary sue who I cannot leave behind. That being said, I love them dearly. Who wants to meet them? If you don’t want to, simply do not read this post. This is entirely voluntary.
THE VILLAIN CODED KIDS!
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is a shield base in the middle of Manhattan. It’s where Captain America wakes up from his 70 years in the ice. But I don’t think it’s ever seen again. In my mind, it holds offices and training rooms, but in 2018, it is also home to six villain coded teenagers.
You are going to meet these kids as they were on some afternoon in the fall of 2018. They’ve been a team for about a month. It has been six months since Iron Man and Black Widow died in the events of Avengers Endgame. Six months since half of the population was killed and then revived, six months that the other half of the population has spent slowly forgetting five years of memories from the lost time known in canon as The Blip. The Sokovia Accords are exactly as unmerciful as they are in canon. Any unauthorized superpowered activity can be punished by arrest without trial or parole, and the only difference between a friendly neighbor hero and a prisoner is whether or not the local police like them. The police did not like these six kids!
……………
Imagine a common room like what you’d find in any college dorm. There’s a couch, some chairs, and a television. Six kids are gathered doing whatever. The oldest are 16 and in 11th grade and the youngest is 13 and in 8th grade.
The too tall boy drawing Voltron fanart on his IPad is Zachary Jesper. He is a vessel for the reality stone, which grants him near infinite power at the cost of chronic pain. He also shares a body with the villain from Thor 2. The stone (also called the aether) is eating him alive. He has a little sister that he hadn’t seen since May, and religious trauma that he hasn’t unpacked. He’s been doing pretty well in class lately, but is working on a YouTube video at the moment. Zach has long dark hair and sickly pale skin, which makes him look a bit like Loki, the supervillain that he has a crush on.
And the blond girl reading Lord of the Flies for homework? Her name is Cyrene, although that’s not the first name she’s tried out since running away from her transphobic home two years ago. She has two powers. Telepathy, and the ability to summon blades and whips of cyan energy. Back during the blip, she ran a criminal syndicate and hunted any billionaire or politician who dared to exploit others. For the record, she did quite a bit of bad stuff herself. Cyrene has also read Lord of the Flies before. It’s not a particularly accurate depiction of how people behave (it was written as satire!). She remembers the blip well enough to know that.
The oldest person in the room is Sarah “Sol” Torres, but she won’t turn 17 for another few weeks. She’s afro-latina with loose curly hair and eyes that look more golden in the sun. That happens a lot, because her ability is to summon and control sunlight. Sol is used to being the responsible oldest sibling. She’s fed up that her only two options are heroic perfection, or rotting in jail. Why can’t she just be a teenager? Who is she supposed to avenge?
The US government in this world has a lot of crazy tech. There’s an east asian boy tinkering with some of it while sitting on the couch. His name is Daniel Asato, and you’ll never see him without a pair of gloves. It’s convenient that he likes engineering, because his power is the ability to manipulate metal. He’s mostly used it for crime though. He’s wearing gloves and long sleeves because they cover long, jagged scars on his limbs. They also let him avoid physical touch. Six years ago, when he was just shy of 8 years old, Daniel was trapped under a collapsed building during the Battle of New York. His parents died instantly, but his brother bled out in his arms. Daniel hasn’t wanted to hold anyone else since.
Given any group of teens, someone is always taking a nap. That person is probably Noah Griffin, an african-american girl with powers too strong and uncontrollable to really be used in combat. She can control the weather, specifically wind and cold. Noah is a tomboy at this point, with a short, masculine hairstyle. She’s also hoping to be a woman in STEM and does environmental work when she can. Noah has a bit of survivors guilt because she knows how difficult it must have been for Hawkeye to convince the shady government organizations to set her free. She’s worried about the upcoming winter. What if she freezes New York City?
Last, youngest, but certainly not least is Vicky Khol (whether that’s short for Victor or Victoria depends on the day, she’s gender-fluid in the same way as Alex Fierro in Magnus Chase. Blame my 12 year old self). She’s a suntanned country kid with dirty blond hair dyed red at the tips. Her ability is mind control and illusions, but they don’t work through cameras. She’s not even in high school yet, and SO EXCITED to be a famous hero. She’s a mischievous theater kid with a traumatic backstory that she tries not to mention.
By all rights, these six kids should be dead by now. Instead, they got a second chance and are making the most of it. They are under unbelievable pressure from outside and inside forces. The worst of it is from a second team of teenagers, who are hero coded and were never in any danger to begin with. They fight frequently. It’s a game to the heroes, but the villains are fighting for their lives. It all turns out okay though.
…………
If you actually read that, I am in your debt forever. Literally. I will grant you any reasonable favor. Please reach out so I can know who I should thank! This is a small fraction of the lore. I also have two other completely separate stories. My brain would drive Cyrene mad.

Here it is!!!!
So, guys, I'm so excited to share my fic with Loki. I waited about two weeks to post it, rewriting and editing it, because I wanted to be just perfect! I hope you like it!!
+18
First time for her. Loki being seductive and gentle.
Around 2660 words
Tumblr media
A night of passion
I am Faye, one of the many servants in Odin's majestic palace in Asgard. I was born in Asgard, my mother is also a servant who works for the Queen. I grew up among the gods and goddesses, wishing things could be different. My mother used to tell me that my father was a great man, but he died when I was a baby, so she had to start working.
Most of my work is done in the kitchen, but I also serve the gods in the ballroom when Odin decides to hold a feast for the other gods.
****
I needed some time to rest after work and sought out a secluded part of the palace gardens to be alone with my thoughts. However, I spotted Loki leaning against a tree, gazing off into the distance. A mischievous grin played on his lips as he turned his head to look at me.
— I'm sorry, sir. I didn't mean to interrupt.
— There is no need to apologise. You seek solace in the gardens, I see. We seem more alike than I thought.
— I wanted a moment of peace. The night has a way of offering solace and anonymity.
— Or perhaps you seek adventure when no one can see you — he said, his eyes sparkling with desire.
— I don't know what you're implying.
— My dear Faye. I'm aware of all the signs you give without realising it —he walked towards me, staring straight into my eyes —the way you look at me when you think I can't see you. The way your body heats up when we're near. I know what you want, and I'm more than willing to give it to you. Though, I cannot help but wonder: Are you ready?
As I was about to answer, we heard footsteps approaching and I ran away. My heart was pounding in my chest, Loki's words still ringing in my ears. I was so close to getting what I wanted and someone had stopped me. I was frustrated, my body aching with desire, Loki always managed to get me wet with just a look.
I'm not giving up now.
I heard Loki and Thor talking and cursed Thor for interrupting. Everything was exactly as I had imagined, and I was confident that I was about to experience something beyond my wildest dreams.
I would have to wait for another chance.
****
A few days passed, and it seemed as if Loki was avoiding me, though it could have been my imagination. All I could think about was being alone with him again and having a moment of passion. My body reacts on its own when he's near me. I don't know what to say, I just want to give in and let him do whatever he wants to me.
After one more day of hard work, I locked myself in my room, sat down on my bed, and felt as if something was hidden under the covers. I removed the sheets and found a folded piece of paper. I opened it and there was a message, written in elegant handwriting.
"Come to the North Tower at midnight."
Who could have written this?
The possibility of meeting Loki and having my wishes fulfilled made my heart skip a beat. I was excited but apprehensive. What if this was a joke or someone who wished me harm? Then again, if it was Loki, I couldn't miss the opportunity.
Sleep had completely eluded me, my body was now filled with anticipation and lust. The man I wanted was waiting for me for an adventurous evening.
Except this was no man. There are no men like him.
As midnight approached, I wrapped myself in a cloak and left my room, taking great care not to make any noise. The other servants are light sleepers. I left the rooms behind me and went straight to the North Tower, avoiding the eyes of the night guards.
Fortunately, I managed to arrive unnoticed and found the door half open. I began to climb the stairs, my heart pounding in my chest, but there was no turning back now.
I arrived at the top of the tower and the door was ajar, soft light coming from inside. Loki was standing with his back to me. I looked around, and the room was filled with candles and a bed was made.
— Close the door, my dear. We don't want anyone to disturb us this time, do we? — he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
I obeyed, entering the room and closing the door behind me.
— Come closer.
I walked over to him at the window, and he put his hands on my shoulders.
— I knew you'd come. You can't refuse an invitation to adventure, can you? Your willingness to plunge into the unknown is truly enchanting - he stared into my eyes - I wonder what went through your mind when you saw that note.
— I must admit, I didn't know what to expect. Doubt, curiosity... hope. But something inside me urged me to follow, to see where this path might lead.
— Your trust in me, even amid uncertainty, speaks volumes, Faye. Tonight, let us cast away doubt and embrace the magic of the moment. We can explore the hidden depths of desire and unlock the secrets that bind us. Together.
— I see you thought of everything – I looked around, signaling what he had done for me.
— I want nothing more than for you to be comfortable and relaxed with me.
— I am.
Loki cupped my face in his hands, his touch electric against my skin. His fingers traced the contours of my cheek, a gentle caress that conveyed a mixture of longing and awe. My breath was taken away as I surrendered to the vulnerability of the moment, my heart racing with the anticipation of it.
And in a moment of undeniable surrender, our lips finally met. It was a collision of fire and ice, passion and seduction, as our mouths merged in a fervent embrace. The kiss ignited a spark deep within our souls, an inferno of emotions blazing between us.
In that intimate moment, time seemed to stretch and warp, allowing us to exist only in the realm of our embrace. Our bodies pressed together, as if seeking solace in each other's warmth and presence. Every soft stroke and breath we shared deepened the connection, weaving a tapestry of unspoken promises and desires.
— Please — I begged.
Loki tangled his fingers in my hair and pulled my head back, exposing my neck and running his tongue over my skin, making me moan. I wanted to squirm, but he held me still in his arms. He began to nibble on my neck, teasing me, as I could feel his erection against my stomach.
As the kiss continued, I felt my inhibitions dissolve, and I surrendered to the raw intensity of my feelings. Our mouths moved in perfect synchrony, exploring and tasting, as if trying to learn the contours and nuances of each other's lips.
Loki's hands were incredibly skilled at removing my clothes. I tried to cover myself in embarrassment, but he stopped me.
— Don't you dare cover yourself from me. You are perfect, every curve of your body is magnificent. Have I made myself clear?
— Yes, my lord.
— Let me look at you, darling.
I stood naked before the god of mischief, the lord of Asgard, and his eyes roamed over the curves of my body. I felt shivers run down my spine as he lifted his hands to touch me from my neck down my breasts to my stomach.
— You have a spark in you, Faye. A spark that ignites my own. And together we will set this place on fire.
— I want this more than anything, my lord. Your presence stirs something in me, a fire that burns bright. I'm drawn to you more than I can say,
— I will grant your every wish tonight. But right now… — he said, his blue eyes staring straight into mine — I have other plans. Undress me.
I reached for his waistcoat and unbuttoned it, revealing his muscular chest. He has broad shoulders and strong arms. My heart raced and I was soaking wet. I lowered my hands to his trousers, but he stopped me with a whisper:
— Kneel.
I hesitated for a moment, not sure how to react. Slowly, I lowered myself to my knees, my movements guided by a combination of curiosity and a willingness to indulge Loki's whims.
— Such obedience. You have a power within you, waiting to be unleashed — Loki's voice seductive, a hint of satisfaction in his voice as he traced the contours of my cheek with his fingers — Kneel, not to surrender, but to prove your strength and the potential that lies within.
I had never experienced anything like it, the intoxicating mix of vulnerability and desire intertwined within me.
I unzipped his trousers, my hands trembling and my heart about to burst from my chest. He pulled them off and threw them somewhere, leaving me face-to-face with the bulge in his underwear. It was huge and pulsating as I stroked it.
As I pulled down his underwear, I saw his hard, thick cock standing in front of me, throbbing. I gasped in surprise and felt my mouth water. The mere sight of Loki naked in front of me should have been enough to make me come. He was perfect in every way.
Loki ran his fingers through my hair, pulling my head closer to his cock.
— Take my cock in your mouth like a good little slut.
— Yes, my lord.
I began to stroke its length as I sucked it, slowly at first, tasting it and getting used to its size. He tightened his grip on my hair and forced me to swallow it all, the tip of his big cock down the back of my throat. I took a deep breath as he pushed me down to gag me.
— Oh, fuck… that’s just how I like it, darling. Keep going…
He forced me to stay in place as he began to thrust hard into my mouth.
— It feels so good to have you choking on my cock.
Loki continued his delicious torture until he was pleased.
— Stand up.
He helped me to my feet and pulled me for yet another kiss. He drove me crazy as his tongue explored my mouth. I gave myself to him, completely, with my body and soul. He grabbed me in his arms, taking me to bed. I was trembling with anticipation as he spread my legs and lay down between them, and I could feel his hard cock touching the inside of my thighs.
— Do not worry, darling. It is your trust in me that matters. I know this might hurt at first, but I'll be gentle — he spoke quietly, leaving soft kisses on my lips — For now, just relax.
He gave me a long kiss that took my breath away. He moved lower, kissing my neck, then sucking on my nipples, one at a time, biting gently. I let out a loud moan and threw my head back as I writhed.
— This feels so good, Loki.
— You haven't seen anything yet - he said, smiling mischievously.
As he played with my breasts, he touched me between my legs where I begged for attention. He stroked my labia, moving his fingers back and forth as he masturbated me. I cried out his name as a wave of pleasure build up inside me.
— Oh fuck, Loki...
— Oh, my naughty girl. You better watch your pretty mouth or I'll have to teach you a lesson.
— You can do whatever you want to me.
— Oh, I intend to.
He stood between my legs, facing my pussy, and began to caress my clit. He put his finger inside me and tasted it.
— Your pussy tastes so sweet, my darling girl.
Loki had his tongue on my pussy, sucking my clit, and I was on the verge of an explosion. When he put his finger inside me, moving it back and forth, I couldn't even speak; all I could do was moan his name and let his hair get tangled in my hands as I pulled him closer. Loki put another finger inside, increasing the speed of the movements and bringing me to a climax. I felt my whole body shake with pleasure.
— You look gorgeous in the throes of orgasm, my love. Perhaps I should make it happen more often.
Loki lay on top of me. He spread my legs wider and rubbed his cock against my clit as he kissed me hungrily. He began to penetrate me, slowly inserting the tip of his hard cock into me.
— Oh… — I gasped as I began to feel a stab of pain.
— Relax, my darling. The pain won't last much longer.
I nodded and took a deep breath. He kissed my breasts and sucked on them as he continued to thrust into my pussy.
— You're so fucking tight, baby. Oh, you feel amazing.
— I want more, Loki. Give me more!
— Tell me how good it feels to be here, our naked bodies entwined in pleasure.
— This feels perfect, Loki. There's no place I'd rather be.
— Neither do I.
We shared a passionate kiss, tongues brushing together until I was breathless. Without warning, I felt a sharp pain as Loki thrust fully.
— Fuck!
— It's over. There's nothing between us now — his voice was deep and seductive — it feels fantastic to have your pussy so tight around my cock.
I could feel the throbbing of his hard cock. Feeling braver, I tried to move my hips towards him, catching Loki off guard.
— Someone is eager — he laughed, biting my lip.
— I want you so badly.
I ran my hands through his hair, moaning louder as the pain gave way to pleasure. Loki kissed me, breathlessly, the expression on his face making it clear just how satisfied he was. I still couldn't believe that I was with him, satisfying our most carnal desires.
— Fuck… Loki, I'm coming…
As I said this, Loki thrust harder and harder, bringing me to the edge of the abyss. I closed my eyes, but he scolded me.
— Open your eyes. Look at your Master as I make you come.
I cried out his name, staring into his lustful eyes, writhing beneath him as orgasm crashed over me.
— How do you feel?
— Incredible!
— Was it everything you had hoped for?
— It was so much more.
I realised Loki hadn't come yet, his cock still pulsating. I touched him, running my hand up and down his shaft and he moaned.
— Do you want to make me come?
— Yes Master.
— Oh, my dear girl. You don't know what you're doing to me. Now come and sit on my lap.
Straddling him, I took the tip of his cock in my pussy and let him slowly fill me.
— That's right, little girl. Ride me like a stud.
He gripped my hips and gave me the freedom to find my rhythm and ride him as he pulsed with pleasure.
— Oh, I'm so close, darling. Don't stop. Don't fucking stop. Yeah, fuck me, baby.
He pulled me in a hug and started to ram his balls in my ass as hard as he could. Sweat trickled down his forehead and his heart was beating like crazy as I stared deep into his eyes.
— Kneel before me and take my come in your mouth.
I obeyed and got down on my knees and opened my mouth. It was warm and swollen as I took it in my hands. I stroked him hard, felt him pulsate harder, and got a spurt of come in my mouth. I swallowed every last drop to his delight.
— You have done so well, my love. I'm very pleased.
We fell asleep in each other's arms. In the morning, we promised to do it over and over again.

Comics this week?
Action Comics #1057 - If this is the last arc for both the way I suspect I'm going to miss Sandoval just as much as PKJ. Like Sampere and Federeci he's an artist who could be a generational Superman creator but may be getting snatched away too soon. This issue is mainly just an interview between Clark and Norah, and in the hands of a lesser artist it would just be boring talking heads. Sandoval's portrayal of Clark using his powers to detect whether Norah is lying during the interview keeps the tension high, loved how he depicted Clark's x-ray vision and superhearing. Pretty obvious that Norah is an infiltrator sent by the Empire of Shadows (the evil Dark Multiverse Batfamily from the Batman/Superman & the Authority one shot that PKJ did). If this is the ending arc for PKJ, the Superfamily vs. the Evil Batfamily is a great idea for an ending.
Flash #1 - Good first issue, sets up an interesting Speed Force plot even though I've felt worn out on the Speed Force. Been out of the loop with Flash for a while and this did a good job of getting me up to speed (heh). Dedato art isn't a great fit with a speedster - conveying motion is something he's bad at - but it does suit the grim tone. Spurrier is a writer who loves to pack his issues with as much words as he can, which has the upside of making the issue take longer to read. Seems the comic industry is switching back to compression after two decades plus with everyone trying to ape the Bendis decompressed style. It's a welcome change because if you're going to charge me $5 an issue, it damn well better take me longer than 5 minutes to read.
Detective Comics #1074 - Probably my favorite issue of the run thus far, Nguyen is a treasure. Watters needs his own Ten-Eyed Man mini.
The Penguin #2 - The lesser King work with WW on the stands but still good!
Unstoppable Doom Patrol #6 - Burnham draws the hell out of the fight scenes and it was great to see old Morrison characters like Quiz. Kinda the perfect counter to Jane having every superpower ever just doled out to different identities.
Blade #3 - Slows down a bit but the Adana is such a cool bad guy and I'm loving the buildup to Blade's fight. Plus Blade keeps being the coolest motherfucker in the MU.
Immortal Thor #2 - Not feeling the new Loki design and Ewing is struggling with writing fight scenes as always, but man is that art gorgeous otherwise. Thought bubbles are such a perfect choice here because they are the equivalent of Shakespearean English for comics in terms of conveying "this is old school storytelling". Compliments Ewing trying to write a Thor run in the vein of the actual myths.
Avengers #5 - At this point it's a solid run, but not as great as his Strange book. Need to cut back so I'm dropping this.
Ultimate Invasion #4 - Oh boy do I have thoughts! So many I need to bullet point them!
Hickman has flipped the plot from Ultimates 2. Here the 6160 Ultimates are positioned like the 1610 Liberators in that they are going to be fighting to destroy the status quo, with Capitan America presumably leading the charge. Or maybe it will be Black Panther as the leader since he presumably will be housing the Ultimates in the one place not under the Illuminati's control: Wakanda.
Nothing gets erased via time travel which surprised me. For better or worse, this is what the new Ultimate Universe will be. No traditional take on Ultimate Fantastic Four ever since Ben, Sue, and Johnny are all dead and Reed is a good version of Doom. Reed will be on the Ultimates because Hickman can't leave his boy on the sidelines for long. Clearly Hickman will be writing Ultimates since I can't imagine anyone else wanting to write that kind of lineup with this weird a status quo. What the hell an Ultimate X-Men book is going to look like is anyone's guess.
Hickman has three big plotlines seeded here: The Illuminati carving up America and the Ultimates fighting back. The Maker, Kang, and Howard all trapped in the City which is sealed now but will open again one day. Tony Stark is "Iron Lad" which is meant to make us believe he is also Ultimate Kang, whether that's a red herring or a destiny Tony must face one day remains to be seen.
Other big plot thread is that one day the 616 Illuminati are going to make their way to 6160, likely with the help of Miles and that card Maker gave him.
No tease for Spider-Man, maybe that will come with the Ultimate Universe one shot. Either it's going to be Peter Parker because Marvel demands at least one relatively "normal" book to serve as anchor for all this weirdness, or it will be someone entirely new. Saw someone suggest Harry Osborn and fuck that actually could work! I don't think that's ever been done either. My guess is that USM will be a book about either Peter or Harry having been groomed to join the technocrats in ruling the world, but they end up rebelling against that. Most of Spidey's traditional foes are either mad scientists (Norman and Otto would easily fit into this as sub-bosses under Howard who are pissed because the Illuminati stripped them of their old privileges) or science experiments lashing out (Lizard for example).
I see what Hickman is going for here. In our world the techbros wield power equivalent to heads of state, Hickman just flat out made them the actual heads.
It's an interesting setup, but it's weird. I dunno if Marvel fans will get on board with this, it's so utterly at odds with well, everything. It's not 616, it's not the MCU, and it's not 1610. Everything here is taking full advantage of being an alternate universe, and I don't know how Marvel fans will react to that. Another problem is this Ultimate Universe already carries a lot of baggage. Don't know who the Maker is? You're going to be utterly lost with what the hell is going on. Original Ultimate Universe lasted as long as it did because it was easy to get into for newcomers and featured streamlined reimagining of the classic characters for oldheads. Hickman said his new UU would be an inversion of that and he didn't lie.
I'm concerned that approach is going to make this new Ultimate Universe short lived. Say you're one of the countless people who will presumably jump in on Hickman writing Spidey without having read all this beforehand. If Spider-Man is as changed as Iron Man or Reed are, that's going to be a turn off for people because they'll reject how different he is from what they expect.

Manipulation You quickly pulled yourself from Loki's loosened grip and stood up. Your mind was racing, not only was this Loki's mother, and he was quite a mommy's-boy, but she was also a queen. Panic took over and the first thing you did when you stood up, was bow to her. When you were upright again, and saw Thor's amused face, you realized you weren't making a good impression.
The first time you met Loki, didn't go well either. He acted completely offended, like you had done something wrong. When you asked what was bothering him, he told you of his royal status and that you should have bowed towards him. A little thrown off from this statement, and the fact that he was much more attractive than you could have imagined, you bowed. And you kept bowing towards him, wanting to get to know him better, you didn't want to do anything to drive him away.
After 1,5 weeks you ran into Thor and figured you should bow for him as well. When Thor looked strangely at you, you repeated the conversation you had with Loki. When Thor, laughingly, explained to you that you didn't need to do something like that, you were pissed off. When you saw Loki, you had pushed him against the wall. He was shocked, but you could see the amusement on his face.
‘Thor told me that I don't have to bow to you guys, and here I was trying to be friendly’ you hissed at him. ‘Why are you such an ass?!’
In one swift motion he had turned the tables. You were pinned down between the wall and his body. His lips were almost touching your earlobe, and you tried hard not to let out a soft whine.
‘Because you look ravishing when you bow to me’ he whispered to you.
He was gone before you could register what he actually said to you. After that the two of you played these kinds of games for a very long time, until the night you were bold enough to wait in lingerie on his bed when he got back from a mission. The two of you stayed in his room the entire day after that, because he refused to let you leave.
And now, you have made a complete fool out of yourself, towards his mother. Great, when you are unconscious you still have ways to get under my skin. You both hated and loved him for that.
‘No need for such formalities, dear’ she smiled at you. A smile in which you recognized Loki's smile. ‘How is he doing?’
‘He ehm.. isn't conscious anymore’ you awkwardly replied.
She sat down and moved Loki's head to get a better look. She spoke some sentences in a language you couldn't understand, and her hand that touched the bruise light up.
‘Mother, why would you..?’ Thor started to say but he was cut off.
‘This time it is different’ she said to him.
You slowly sat down back on the bed again, carefully watching Loki. He stirred a little when his mother executed the spell, but he drifted off again.
‘How bad is it?’ you asked concerned.
'It's a little worse than I thought, but with the right care he would be back to normal in a few days’ she went through his hair and smiled at him.
‘But you didn’t even..’ Thor started but was cut off again.
'Thor, can you get a glass of water for your brother?’ she said. Thor nodded and went to get the water. Leaving you alone with their mother. She kept playing with her son's hair.
‘This is the most peaceful I have seen him in quite a while. He was acting like he was a teenager again, with the drinking and the moods’ she said. You had no idea how to answer that. She must hate me you thought.
‘I don't’ she looked at you. ‘When the two of you were together, it was the happiest I have seen him. He told me what happened but wouldn't listen to my advice to come talk with you. I had to send his brother in for that’ she chuckled.
‘Are you in my head?’ you narrowed your eyes a little towards her.
‘I was, only because I was worried about you, when I saw you’ she said. You could tell why Loki loved his mother that much. She was acting like you were her own daughter, and the two of you had just met.
‘Your son does the same when he is worried about people’ you smiled.
She smiled at you. Before she could speak Thor entered the room again. ‘Good’ she said. She accepted the glass of water and out of nowhere she produced a vile that she sat on Loki’s nightstand, next to the water.
‘I only have one question for you, are you still willing to take care of him?’ she asked to you.
‘Of course!’ you were almost offended that she asked but could understand why she asked.
‘Great, you have to stay with him during the night. Wake him up every hour, and I won't lie, he will be grumpy about it. When he is awake let him drink some water. Put the content of the vial in beforehand and don't tell him about it. He hates taking medicine, so it's better if he doesn’t know. For the next two days he should be on bedrest. Hmm, maybe make it three. You are the only person that may be with him those days. If there are too many people, he might exhaust himself and things could get worse’ she said. ‘Are you up for that?’
‘We can take turns if it would help you’ Thor offered.
‘No, you know your brother loves you, but you just hit him in the head. He won't take your presence well at the moment. It has to be her. He trusts her and feels comfortable with her. IF things do get worse for some reason, just come get me’ she said to Thor.
‘I have to get going’ she said. Thor extended a hand to his mother. His eyes fell on the vial, and he looked a little confused.
‘Why would you..’ he started but was cut off again.
'Thor hush, I know what I'm doing’ she said. She turned around to you. You got up, resisting the urge to bow again. ‘When he is better again, I hope you the two of you will come for tea’ she said.
If he wants to get back together, that is.. you thought.
‘Don't worry, I have a good feeling about you and I'm sure we will meet again’ she winked at you and followed Thor out of the room. You rolled your eyes, knowing she was in your mind again. The first thing you did was to empty the content of the vial in the water. Hid the vial away and you set a timer for an hour.
Thor's point of view
‘I don't get it. You said it was worse than you thought, but you didn't do anything!’ Thor said.
‘Didn't you see me work?’ Frigga answered.
‘You just read his mind and gave him a sleeping potion’ he argued. ‘What was the problem exactly? Is it serious?’
‘No, your brother is just exhausted and the hit to the head just knocked him down. And left a bruise that will heal in a few days. He is fine’ she smiled.
‘Then why..’ he asked and was annoyed to be cut off again.
‘Because, he is still dreaming of her. The sleeping potion in that dose will keep him a little dazed. He will think he needs to rest. Meaning for the next three days those two will have all the time to talk it out, acknowledge their feelings to each other again, and get back together. Without someone distracting them’ she smirked.
‘I don't know if drugging Loki is something..’ he didn't know how to finish that sentence.
His mother just kissed his cheek. ‘Like Loki wouldn't have done the same thing if it were you in his position’ she said.
And even if he didn't agree with the method, he did know Loki would do the same to him or his mother, with the best intentions in mind

An Anniversary - One Shot
Thought I'd write a short little Logyn thing for today. Hope y'all like it! ^_^
---
When Sigyn woke up, before she even opened her eyes, she knew that she was not in her own bed. She was in a bed, however, and a wonderfully comfortable one, at that. When she moved her arm, she could feel a distinctly Loki-shaped impression in the mattress beside her, still as cool to the touch as he was, so he was not far from her. She finally opened her eyes and sat up.
She was in a pseudo-rustic room with knotted wood furniture and cream-colored walls. A fireplace on a wall shared with the next room roared, filling the room with heat. She could almost see through to the other side, but there was nothing really to see. Light streamed into the room from a sliding glass door, filtered by sheer curtains but incredibly bright. The blankets over the sheets were a dark green, thick, and soft. Sigyn leaned back into the mountain of pillows and breathed deeply.
The door opened and Loki stepped in. He placed a bouquet of roses dotted with edelweiss on the bedside table next to her. He leaned over and kissed her.
“Good morning, darling,” he said.
She smiled.
“What did you do?” she asked.
He shook his head.
“I can’t get anything past you, can I?” he asked.
He handed her a robe and lead her out to a sitting room. Breakfast was laid out on the table in front of a wall of window that looked out over a mountainous vista, covered in fir trees and snow. Sigyn gasped.
“Oh, Loki…”
“I know you’ve been a little upset at the lack of snow this year in New Asgard,” Loki said. “I had Sif clear your schedule for the day, your mother is watching Nari, I have all our favorite foods, and there is no one that will come and bother us.”
“Did I miss something?” Sigyn said. “Neither of our anniversaries are today, I don’t think…”
Loki shook his head.
“It’s not that anniversary,” he said.
He went over to the breakfast table and picked up a small tin.
“See, when I was very young, I didn’t feel like going with Thor to whatever it was he was planning on doing that day,” Loki said. “Instead, I went to a place I had found a few weeks earlier, an abandoned servant’s closet, where I’d hidden a few things, to make it sort of a secret lair.”
“Of course,” Sigyn said. “How could you not?”
“And about 14 hundred years ago, today, someone else found that closet,” Loki said.
He opened the tin, which was filled with butter biscuits. Sigyn smiled.
“And you met me,” she said.
“Our wedding anniversaries have baggage,” he said. “Not that I won’t do whatever it is you feel appropriate to celebrate, but I thought that this day, where the most important thing that happened was that two children hid themselves away and shared biscuits with each other—that might be something we have that’s worth celebrating.”
Sigyn could feel her eyes welling up. She took the tin and sit it aside, kissing her husband.
“I am so glad to have met you,” she said. “I can’t imagine what my life would have been without you. I can’t imagine who I would have become. And I am thankful every day that I get to wake up by your side, and in your arms. I would absolutely love to celebrate that with you.”
He took her hands in his.
“We should eat before the food gets cold,” he said. “But there are no obligations for the day.”
Sigyn smirked. “Then perhaps you can perform a few of your other queenly duties.”
Loki chuckled. “I think I can be amenable to that, my king.”
Sigyn inhaled sharply.
“I do like it when you call me ‘king’…”

Nothing in the Parenting Books Prepared me for This
Chapter 66: Children's Museum trip
Synopsis: Daycare is having a field trip to the nearby children’s museum! Thor and Mobius come along as chaperones. At first, everything seems chipper, but Loki is so fixated and impatient about visiting the "storybook cottage" and Mobius' hands are so full, that it's only a matter of time before things start going wrong.
Word count: 6,575
Stand Alone?: yes
Warnings: 1 swear, Bucky's abandonment issues,
Notes: I think I need to stop using my plotting structure the way I have been because last time, I ended up needing to break the story up into 4 chapters, but this one is just really really L O N G
Read it on AO3!
Tumblr media
“So, how was daycare?” Mobius asked over dinner.
Loki had been nearly vibrating waiting to talk to his whole family about it ever since he got picked up a couple hours ago, but every time he spoke it was only met with “you’ll have to tell us about it over dinner.” Now was his chance.
“Um!” he started to make sure that he had everyone’s attention. “Daycare’s having a field trip,” he hummed happily.
Sylvie looked astonished and slightly offended that she had not been given this news sooner, slipping slightly as she asked “Where?!”
“The museum.”
“Oh… ew.”
“Mm! No, not the boring one-- The fun one.”
“Fun one?”
“The children’s museum?” Mobius offered.
“That one,” Loki agreed with his mouth full of mushy yam, licking his fingers.
“What’s that?” Thor asked.
Mobius and Loki both paused as they tried to think of how to explain it to Thor and Sylvie.
“It’s a big play area,” Mobius began. “But it’s more than just a playground. They have crafts and activities, some have science experiments and demonstrations kids can do… Once I had a case at one that was filled with dramatic play rooms. Like your corner at daycare with the salon game setup?”
“Um, it's grocery store now,” Loki corrected.
“Grocery store is pretty common, too. So imagine that, but it's big.”
“...A real grocery store?” Sylvie asked.
“No, no, littles and kids run it still, y’know? And the food is fake.”
“Oh,” Sylvie seemed intrigued.
“So, anyway,” Loki started up again. “They need chaperones and I think daddy an’ Thor should come.”
Sylvie agreed with this.
Thor shrugged and nodded.
“I dunno kiddo. I’m kind of swamped after last week’s attack…we’ve got a meeting with the Indonesian government next Tuesday… What day is it?”
“Um… I dunno,” Loki admitted, pretending he was very distracted by his dinner.
“Alright, well I’ll talk to Ms.Vaughn and see if we can work something out.”
And they did.
Thursday, at 8:30 am sharp, Mobius, Thor, Sam Wilson, Ms.Vaughn, and twenty excited littles waited outside the daycare in the freezing cold for the bus.
A few of the tots shivered and sat still, others warmed up by hopping in place or chasing each other around the parking lot until they were caught and given stern a talking to about safety.
Loki had chosen to climb up his brother’s back, overseeing the lot from about nine feet up, with his legs around Thor’s neck.
A bright yellow bus pulled into the driveway.
The chaperones worked together to shepard the little ones, ranging between 3 and 8 in headspace, onto the bus. But they didn’t sit down quite yet like the little ones did. Mobius and Thor left Loki and Sylvie to make sure there were only two littles per seat, breaking up groups of three or four, who thought they could get away with having a friend in their lap or scrunched by the window.
Loki sat with his daddy at the front of the bus, in a spot where he could be supervised closely by several adults.
Regardless of the supervision, Loki still stood up on his knees and turned around to talk with Scott behind him. “Have you ever been to a children’s museum?” Loki asked.
“Loki, sit down!” Mobius chided him, tapping on the back of his thighs.
Loki ignored him.
“Ah, yeah. But not this one. Momma looked it up for me though and it looks fun,” Scott answered.
“Does it?”
“Yeah, there’s a big playground, lots of playrooms, science stuff, a big garden with mud, arts, and -- oh-- you and Sylvie are gonna like the storybooks cottage a lot.”
“Storybook cottage?!” Loki repeated.
“Loki! Sit down, now,” Mobius hissed at him again.
Loki sat down, but still peeked around the side of the seat to look back at Sylvie and Thor a few rows back. “Sylvie! Did you hear that?”
Sylvie crawled over Thor’s lap to look at him. “I can’t hear you!” she yelled.
“Sylvie, let’s use our inside voices,” Mobius reminded her as he pushed Loki off his lap and back up into his seat. “Jeez, I know you kids are excited, but can you just try and behave on the bus?” he chuckled.
The facade to the building, in its old, colonial, red brick was horribly misleading. Its quiet, historic, nature gave way to absolute chaos once Loki stepped inside.
The inside wasn’t loud, but it was echoey. Most of the building was filled with many experiments, exhibits, and toys that wound and weaved around one another throughout a maze of short walls and boundaries, not quite attached enough to make individual rooms in a traditional sense.
Things moved throughout on their own: screens with games flashed or moved with idle waiting animations, water cycled through one exhibit, and a tiny model train circled the perimeter of the building, and those were only things Loki could pick out of the chaos of 19 other littles and four adults all trying to herd them.
Sylvie raised herself onto her tippy-toes, then back down over and over and over again, rocking back and forth and nearly bouncing in place, flicking her attention between exit doors, and the busy, moving toys, as if looking for sneaking figures.
Thor put a hand on her back to steady her, providing a little comfort.
This level of excitement seemed to be relatively common, Loki observed as he held on tightly to his daddy. The only one who wasn’t experiencing the same sort of pent up energy seemed to be Bucky.
Well, maybe that was incorrect. Bucky had pent up energy, but it wasn’t the chatty, hyperactive, and curious sort of energy. It was fearful and cautious. He looked like he was about to cry, as Sam set a head on his shoulder and rocked him back and forth in a backwards hug while keeping a straight face.
Eventually, Loki and the rest of the group were instructed to put up their “quiet coyote” hands for another roll call, an introduction to the museum, a rundown of safety information, rules, and an itinerary.
Even as they outlined the summary, this all sounded very very boring to Loki.
He looked to his daddy, but Mobius seemed to be paying attention. So, then the little did the next best thing.
“Psst Thor!” he tugged on the sleeve of his brother’s shirt.
Once he knew he got Thor’s attention, Loki waved a hand, beckoning him closer.
Thor leaned in to let his brother whisper something in his ear.
“This is boring!” Loki whispered.
“I know, brother, but it is important. Try to listen.”
Sylvie came around Thor’s backside to listen in. “It is boring,” she agreed. “Can we go play over there instead?”
“Psst!” Mobius got all of their attention.
The three looked up to realize that the presentation had stopped and most, if not all, heads were looking at them.
Thor gave the both of them a small elbowing.
As soon as the presenter continued, Loki stuck his tongue out at his brother.
Apparently, he chose the wrong time to do that, as Mobius quickly picked him up. Now he was really in for a stern talking to once the groups broke.
Halfway through the safety presentation, while they were being told when shoes need to be off and what age groups are allowed where, a phone began to ring. Loudly.
Loki searched for the source of it, only for Sam to apologetically reach in his pocket and say “Sorry I gotta take this.”
He stepped away, taking a quick second to reassure Bucky that this would all be fine and Mobius and Thor were here-- He was safe and with his friends-- before kissing him on the cheek. It would just be a moment.
Bucky almost looked angry. His entire body stiffened the second that Sam left, with his only perceptible movement being a trembling lower lip.
Loki stared at him probably longer than he should have.
Mobius maneuvered his little into one arm, with some slight discomfort and struggle, even though Loki was happy to cooperate.
Then with his free hand, Mobius reached out behind him, ready to take another trauma-ridden and finicky little under his wing. At least, that was how Loki interpreted it. Maybe Mobius just felt bad and knew if Bucky could trust anyone who wasn’t his daddy, it would be someone from their household.
Metal fingers clamped onto Mobius’ jacket sleeve. Not his offered hand, nor his arm itself, but the loose fabric around his bicep.
Mobius tried to quietly soothe the other child, but since he couldn’t speak, physical touch wasn’t something Bucky particularly liked, and he had Loki sitting in his other arm, there wasn’t much he could offer besides a sympathetic look.
There was a moment after instructions were explained and the littles were set free into the first exhibit, where Mobius was held in place by the pinch, while Bucky kept staring out the window.
“You wanna run along with Sylvie?” Mobius asked. “I’ll catch up to you.”
Before Loki could wiggle down onto the floor and go play, Sam turned off his phone and came inside. He had missed his opportunity to get out and curiosity now held him in place, especially since Sam did not look happy.
Bucky and Mobius simultaneously tensed.
“I… gotta go,” Sam said apologetically. “Fury said it’s an emergency.”
“...Yeah… take all the time you need.” Mobius said. He didn’t really mean it, and Sam didn't really want to hear it.
“You’re going to be good for me, Bucky-bear. Mobius and Ms.Vaughn are right here. All your friends are here. It’s just like being at daycare.”
Bucky looked down away from him, but didn’t respond at all, keeping his hands held firmly at his side.
“You’re gonna run around and have fun, and I’ll be back before lunch.”
Bucky still barely moved. “...You promise?” he mumbled.
“Yeah bud, I promise. This is just a quick errand. I pinky promise it.”
Bucky hesitantly hooked pinkies with his caregiver as if it were an embarrassment. Then, he got a big hug and a rub on the back before Sam went to find the busy teacher and tell her about the situation.
Mobius looked back at Bucky. “You ready to go try and have some fun? Sylvie, Scott, Thor, and Clint are all waiting for us. We shouldn’t leave them hanging, don’t you think?”
Bucky followed behind them from a few feet away with crossed arms, dragging his feet. Neither Loki nor Mobius were unaccustomed to this behavior, and chose to let him mope, although staying close, just in case he needed it.
“Daddy?” Loki asked. “Can we go to the Storybook Cottage?” He was slower with his words, leaving room for a childish cadence that snuck in between syllables.
“Let’s put a pin in that one, pumpkin, and stick with the group for now. Just until Sam comes back. Then I’ll take you.”
Loki frowned. “Can you play?” he asked.
Mobius looked back at Bucky again. “I think I gotta look after this big guy. I know Sylvie and your friends wanna play though.”
Loki bit his cheek and broke away from his caregiver slowly, walking towards a climbing net and starting to put his feet in the first holds. Maybe once he reached the tubes where Sylvie and his other friends were crawling, they’d have a game for him to join.
Unfortunately, a climbing net of this size and scope was a little tough for Loki. It was easily ten feet up, and when you’ve only got socks on a thin, rope, surface, grip can be difficult to maintain. He slinked up it, making quite the effort.
He could see Sylvie behind a clear plastic barrier a few feet above, snickering.
He frowned at her and tried to climb up further, slipping and nearly falling down to the cushy, padded ground.
“Loki, you wanna come over here? There’s a tot playground that may be more your speed,” Mobius suggested. It was apparent he really was trying to be helpful.
But Loki was big today. He wasn’t a baby. Not totally at least.
Sylvie slid down a slide a few feet away and stood behind him.
“Here to mock me?” he asked, way more bitterly than he really meant to sound.
“Only if you keep speaking like a grown-up… and trying to go up the net.”
“What’s wrong with the net?”
“That’s not how you climb up. Look! Here are the stairs.” She showed him to a tower with a small doorway in it. Surely enough, it was a spiral staircase.
Loki began to walk up them.
“Move!” Sylvie commanded, giving him a slight shove.
“I’m going! I’m going!” he shouted back, beginning to jog.
Although the jungle gym was expansive, and Loki enjoyed seeing his friends, he was decidedly relieved when a “Ding!” noise played over the intercom system and the chaperones helped the little ones into the next room.
Thor slid down one of the slides with Loki in his lap and Sylvie right behind the both of them.
He picked the boy up and seemed to understand that Loki wasn’t feeling very small yet. All the little energy had seeped out of him through hours in transport and a long lecture. Not even that 20 minutes on the playground had helped him regain the childish spark he usually had.
Thor raspberried the boy’s hands.
Loki paused, a bit taken aback as something clicked. A grin crept onto his face.
“He’s been revived!” he cheered.
Loki reached out and tried to wipe his spit covered hands on Sylvie. He made a gibberish yelp of “yuck!”
Thankfully for Loki, the next exhibit the littles were encouraged to explore was called the “messy room” and he was given the opportunity to wash his hands and put on a smock with all the other littles… and Thor… and Mobius? Oh! Everyone got a plastic yellow smock.
The area was really two exhibits, not one. It was closer to a “smock zone” than anything: most of the room was filled with paints, bath crayons, paper, some sort of wheat-paste (to attach the paper to a wall), and even shaving cream, all sorts of messy substances to paint all over the room with, and on the other side was… Well, Loki didn’t care… Something else, he assumed. All he knew was he had to clean up before heading over there. His hands were too covered in child-safe liquidy-glue to think about that. He pressed ripped tissue paper against a small corner of the clear wall to create a stained glass effect, sitting on the paper-covered floor.
A drop of paint fell on his nose.
Loki looked up to see Thor above him, finger painting diligently and with an amount of focus almost unheard of for him.
Then, Loki looked for the rest of his friends, still sticking scraps of paper to the wall.
Sylvie was still at the materials table, squishing her hands in colorful slime that stuck to her. She didn’t actually seem interested in getting the mess- oh, no, nevermind. She flicked it everywhere, all over the paper floor and probably into the back of Loki’s hair. Definitely into Thor’s.
Mobius was on the other side of the glass with Bucky, not many littles were. It was further from the materials section and the floor paper didn’t stretch so far, so most tots just stuck to the closer side. They were drawing with bath crayons and quietly talking. Mobius was trying so hard to be peaceful, really channeling his inner Mister Rogers. Just looking at them almost made Loki want to yawn and put his thumb in his mouth, an urge he needed to resist.
Loki stood up to grab more paper, almost bumping Thor and a few other littles as he did so.
“Loki! Look!” Thor called. “Come see what I made, brother!”
Loki stood close to him while wiping his hand on his smock. He could not figure out what he was looking at.
Thor must’ve noticed. “That ones me, and there’s Sylvie, and you, and then there’s da-- your daddy. When we got that big monster!”
Loki sucked in his cheeks and nodded understandingly.
“You don’t like it?” Thor asked, heartbroken by Loki’s reserved reaction.
“Is good,” Loki hurriedly added, but maybe Thor didn’t hear him.
“Sylvie! Look what I painted!” he called.
Mobius looked up from what he was doing at the same time Sylvie did.
She brought her green goop with her, sliding it around in her hands, staining them as she joined the brothers in admiring the work. “Is that us?” she asked with a certain performative enthusiasm: Her caregiving voice.
Thor nodded, rather pleased with himself.
“We should get daddy to take a picture, don’t you think?”
“Yeah!” Loki agreed, slapping the glass.
Mobius paused and told Bucky something before walking around. His eyebrows were just slightly knitted with concern, but he smiled anyway.
“Woah, hey Thor, did you paint that?” Mobius asked, looking at the stick figures. “We look great!”
“Take a photo of it! For the fridge!” Sylvie  suggested.
Mobius fumbled in his pocket for his phone and took a snapshot, before showing it to the littles, and Thor just to make sure they liked it.
Thor grinned and tapped his feet, making a girlish squeal.
“Saved!” he smiled, before patting Thor on the shoulder and returning to his own drawing. Later on, Loki would catch him taking a photo of his own handiwork, and several other of the littles’ creations. He showed Bucky his phone. “Should I send that one to your daddy?” he asked.
Bucky had silently nodded.
Meanwhile, Loki had decided he was done with this activity, even if the alarm hadn’t rung yet. He needed to see where the other littles were doing on the far side of the room.
He washed his hands, and encouraged Sylvie and Thor to do the same.
“You took me away from slime for this?” Sylvie asked incredulously. “For water?”
Apparently, the other, not-so-messy activity was a large water table.
Although Sylvie immediately went back to her green ooblek, Thor definitely took interest, maybe even more than Loki. He picked up a plastic frog and set it into the water, running it under a waterfall and then setting it into the bucket of a water wheel.
Loki stood next to him, but really didn’t get involved as much as he simply watched his big brother who… probably should’ve been watching other littles. Maybe that defense would still work. Loki looked up. There were two other tots at the water table. Three out of 20… not great, but still, that area needed a little supervision.
Loki set some marbles into a run, sending them down a slide of rushing, babbling fluid. He clapped and giggled when they plunked into the water.
Then, he grabbed one, and shoved it into one of the rushing water pipes with his finger. He pushed against the current with his hands, and then when he couldn’t use those anymore, he switched to magic trying to see how far down the clear pipe he could get it. Then, when the pumping fan began to sputter, he let it out, watching the ball float back up and out into the water.
Thor raced a boat from one end to another as Loki messed with all the dials, buttons, and levers on enticingly lit and bubbling tubes of water, but even then, he had something else on his mind.
“Um, Thor?”
“Yes, brother?” Thor asked, slightly distractedly.
“Can we go? I wanna see the Storybook Cottage…”
Thor grinned and almost agreed, but his face then fell. “I need to watch over the little ones…”
“I’ma little one!”
“Yeah but…” Thor drew a deep breath considering his words carefully. “I’m having fun.” … Okay maybe not too carefully.
Loki whined and stomped his feet. “Please?”
“Can’t you just enjoy all this? It’s magical!”
Loki scrunched up his nose at that. None of this was magic. It was kind of interesting, but it was NOT magic. He knew magic.
The plastic frog spit at Thor and waves upon waves began to rock the table, sending Thor’s wooden boat capsizing as the tides crashed against him. His whole front was being drenched.
“Loki! Don’t lose your temper at me!” the god giggled as he was hit with a beam of spraying water from a “malfunctioning” tube. He really meant for it to sound intimidating, but how could it?
“Loki!” Mobius was not so lenient. He ran over and pulled Loki up against his clean smock, breaking the little’s concentration and the streams of water. “What do you think you’re doing?”
Loki hesitated, trying to think of an excuse. Then he put a hand in his mouth and teared up.
“That’s not gonna work this time. bud. You gotta talk to me. What’s got you spraying Thor with water? C’mon, I know you’ve got a nice big headspace today.”
“He said no!”
“No to…”
“Going to the storybook cottage!”
“Oh, Loki, we’ll get there eventually. Be patient. You wanna maybe regress down a bit? Play with some of the extra stuff that the big kids don’t get to? That’ll keep ya busy.” He reached into his pocket, having trouble with the yellow smock around him to find Loki’s pacifier.
Loki furrowed his brows as he took it.
“You wanna hold my hand until we get to the next room?”
“No?” Loki mumbled.
Mobius didn’t answer that, and Loki knew he didn’t really have a choice unless he wanted to be sitting in the quiet sensory room the whole trip.
The loudspeaker finally rang like the daycare bell, signaling the little ones to head to the next activity room (after they cleaned up, of course, which was a more daunting task for some than others.)
The next room, Loki didn’t really care about. He didn’t like that there was ANOTHER room. He wanted to go to the cottage, an outbuilding in the backyard he could see from the windows of the main museum.
But he had already tried to make that known and look where it had gotten him, being pulled by the wrist into the next room alongside his daddy and fussy, sad, Bucky Barnes, who still refused to lighten up, even after a whole hour.
Although, to be fair, Loki hadn’t done much lightening up, himself.
Oh more science. How special. Loki wasn’t so big of a fan of the STEM push. No Migardian trick of science could impress him. Especially not something like wind.
Clear, bendable tubes covered one wall, where littles were instructed to connect them together in interesting paths to float a ball of yarn through.
Similarly, a tube of wind stood in the center of the room with written instructions about how to make and test the flying capabilities of different objects.
Loki looked at it and slid his hand into the vortex before Mobius caught him by the collar and pulled him away, pointing to a red icon on the sign.
The little frowned at him and then crossed his arms.
“You can play with it, just maybe don’t stick your hand up there,” Mobius tried to explain.
Any notion of fun had already been ruined though. Loki furrowed his brows, starting to stomp again and throw a fit.
But Mobius didn’t listen. He was running over to talk to two kids who looked like they were getting into a fight and then stop three curious littles looking out the door towards the next exhibit.
Thor was busy helping Sylvie connect wind tubes together. They appeared to be enjoying themselves, Loki noted.
He sat in a corner with his back pressed up against the large windows of the room like a dramatic princess, people watching a little more than he cared to admit.
There was a moment where Thor seemed to remember why he was here and briefly left Sylvie’s side to attend to Clint and Scott who were asking him when lunch was and if he could do tricks with the wind too, if he was so good with thunder.
Loki rolled his eyes at their praises of him. As if he was a celebrity and not their coworker and friend’s big brother. Why didn’t they ever talk to him like that? Loki pushed something invisible with his foot, administering a small kick towards the empty space in front of him.
But, there was something he could use in this situation…
“Sylvie?” he asked, as casually as he could. “Are you bored? As bored as I am?”
She shrugged. “A little bit.”
“Wind’s not very fun… Would you like to do something else?”
She shrugged again, not really paying attention to him as she adjusted two plastic tubes to fit together. “Maybe…” She prompted.
“Can we go to the story cottage?”
Sylvie weighed her options, looked at the other littles, the adults, and then back at Loki. “Fine. But only for a moment so you can get a look at it. Daddy said we’re having lunch soon.”
Loki grinned. “Thank you thank you thank you!” he repeated.
He didn’t bother casting doubles today. He was already so tired, and Mobius’ hands were too full to really realize if they were gone. Bucky at some angles sort of looked like him. That would fill any gap he left in the classroom ecosystem.
Mobius looked around the room rather frantically. It felt like every time he solved one issue, another three cropped up. He wasn’t the only chaperone, but Ms. Vaughn was running around just as busily as he was and… Thor had seemingly joined the other team. As much as the god had said “regression wasn’t for him”, it sure did feel like it was.
20 and a half littles to watch between two caregivers… that was a lot, especially with 6 superpowered ones. He wished Sam was back, probably just as much as Bucky did. He looked back at the little guy, just to make sure he was doing alright.
It also seemed like things had gotten suddenly quieter. None of the super littles were the ones being loud or aggressive with one another. It was mostly the normal ones Mobius found himself watching out for, as Thor kept the other fi-- wait.. Hang on. There were only three littles working with Thor… Then Mobius stopped, counted and… shit.
The door to the cottage was unlocked and opened immediately, even though Sylvie had obviously planned on kicking it down.
The inside was a bit cramped, but more in a cozy sense than anything. Loki crept inside, before realizing that the floor was heavily cushioned and his head clipped the top of the ceiling. So, he instead, after glancing at Sylvie, crouched down, and then crawled.
“It’s just another baby exhibit, Loki,” Sylvie told him.
She could still comfortably stand, even though she needed to avoid pillows, stuffed animals, and child-sized scene setting furniture.
Loki stopped and took a book off a shelf, opening it to peer at the pictures while cushioned by pillows.
“It’s no different from the reading corner at school.”
He ignored her, shuffling on his knees into the other rooms of the cottage, exploring the kitchen and bedrooms curiously.
“Loki!” she whined as she followed him around. “Don’t make me mummy for you right now… please? Now you’ve seen it, let’s just go back to Daddy and Thor. They’ll bring you over later! I’m too small to be a good big sister!”
Loki paused when she finally caught him, pulling him back, away from the 3 bears beds and into her arms. He mumbled while pulling away from her grasp around his wrists until she finally restrained him into her lap.
“We’ll come back after lunch! That’s what daddy said! There’s other baby things for you to play with in the normal room!”
Loki thrashed against her, kicking into some of the pillows and started to cry.
“Loki! You’re being loud!” She shushed him.
But it wasn’t the thought of having to leave that got Loki so upset.
“I’m going and you’re going to come with me or not. Your choice.”
When she let him go, Loki resigned himself to a corner, just like he had in the wind room. She was right. It was just like the reading corner at school or their living room at home. There was nothing special about it. Even the stories inside were the same ones he had been read over and over again. “The Classics” as the adults liked to call them. Hey Diddle Diddle and all those rhymes and songs that masqueraded as stories.
The decor was… fine, but it was probably just as interesting as anything else in the museum. Maybe even less interesting. It did remind him of home, a bit, with its muted Victorian browns and bronzes but it wasn’t satisfying in any special way.
Reluctantly, he took Sylvie’s hand and followed her outside, dropping the fringed pillow he was clutching.
She shut the door behind him and seemed almost satisfied with herself. They went back through the same glass door they had come through, but it looked like the group had already moved on to the next activity.
The little ones searched the big, open, echoey areas for their daddy and Thor. Being alone in such a place almost seemed like a dream come true but neither of them really felt any mischievous inclination.
Loki sat down, once they had circled the first floor and returned to moping.
“Stop that!” Sylvie commanded him, administering a small kick to his midsection, more in a nudging way than one meant to cause pain.
“There you two are!” Sam said.
Somehow, in the time they were gone, there was a chance for the entire group to disappear, and for Sam to come back. He was carrying Bucky on his back, but the little’s face wasn’t visible.
“You know where the lunch room is, right?” he asked.
Loki shook his head and Sylvie stared at him blankly.
“Here, follow me.”
Loki took his hand and tried not to look like he had been crying too hard.
Sylvie didn’t bother with either of those, simply walking within the caregiver’s line of sight to prove how much of a big girl she was.
The lunch room was behind a regular door that looked like it should have been labeled “Employees only”. It was small, too. Mostly used for birthday parties and the like.
Mobius wasn’t there though, something Loki immediately noticed as he broke away from Sylvie, Sam, and the lunch line.
The door to the yard was propped open, opening into a tall and thick garden of flowers and edible plants, filled with bees and butterflies.
And, as Loki got closer, on the stoop, he saw who else, but his daddy, looking much more distraught than normal.
Loki sat down next to him, blocking the doorway.
Mobius wiped a wet eye with his sleeve. “Hey, there you are! You had me scared for a minute there,” he laughed.
Loki wasn’t used to seeing him cry. He almost put his guards up, but instead decided to let his shoulders droop and share in a little momentary misery as his daddy wrapped an arm around him.
“I didn’t realize how stressful it was looking after so many kids,” Mobius smiled. “I thought with two Lokis I’d be able to handle anything.”
Loki nodded to show he was listening.
“But jeez… ten littles! Handling ten littles alone, and the only ones I couldn’t keep track of were my own. You two made me feel like a pretty crappy caregiver.”
Loki frowned a little more.
“Well… You did! It’s not the same when you sneak off at the grocery store. This is different, bud. I’ve got a lot more things at stake here!”
Loki tried not to take it too personally, patting Mobius’ arm. If they hadn’t been at a children’s museum, the poor man probably would’ve been having a smoke. He wasn’t even much of a smoker but when he got stressed the rules tended to bend.
“Where’d you even sneak off to, anyway?”
Now it was Loki’s turn to stop comforting and start letting his emotions loose. “Story Cottage…” he answered lamely.
“Not so fun?”
The little shook his head and shuttered as he tried not to cry, trying to harness his big kid voice. “I-- I wasted all of it!” he spilled. “The whole day!”
Mobius pulled him into his lap. “You know what I think we both need, little drama queen?”
“You too!” Loki interjected.
“Yeah, I guess I’m a drama queen, too… but I think we could both get something to eat.” He picked Loki up and brought him over to wash his hands and grabbed him the lunches they had packed that morning.
There were still many things left to play with and explore after lunch as Loki stayed tethered to his daddy, probably more than he really should have, insisting on being held after a filling, and quite frankly, tiring lunch. A task that really wasn’t so bad until Mobius realized he was about to try to climb two flights of stairs and was still supervising a good number of littles. At least Sam was there to ease some of the tension off, now.
“Woah…” Thor said.
“Oh,” Sylvie agreed.
Loki furrowed his eyebrows, and turned around in his daddy’s arms. What was so great that they--
This wasn’t a room. It was a hall of rooms, probably a dozen. It was a little city, kitted with everything littles could ever want. Tricycles and riding toys were available on the “streets”, and in each of the buildings was a usable pretend play area pertaining to a profession.
Sylvie however, was more drawn to an artificial treehouse on the far side. A massive climbable playground for the big kids that appeared to come out of the wall, with a tinier, baby area underneath it for aspiring climbers.
“Why don’t we do that for you?” Mobius suggested trying to lead Loki over to the toddler area.
But Loki was pulled in a different direction. “Loki! Come look at this!” Thor yelled excitedly.
Mobius closed his mouth tightly, and looked up at the large climbing tree, unsure if he should leave Sylvie and a couple other littles there without a supervisor as Loki pulled him away.
“Daddy! C’mon!” Loki shouted excitedly.
“You go ahead… I think I need to stay here.”
Sylvie threw a foam apple at Mobius’ head. “Go! I’m a big girl! I’m safe!” She shooed him.
Mobius rubbed his head as if that had hurt before giving her an “I’m watching you” gesture and backing away.
Loki stepped behind the counter at a “pizza restaurant” with Thor.
It was probably the busiest room in the whole little town, but with so many rooms to choose from, that still only meant it maybe had three or four other littles.
Mobius tried to follow them into the kitchen, but Thor put his hand up.
Loki understood what this meant. “Daddy,” he began as politely as he could manage, “you’re not allowed over here… We’re the chefs. You’re the customer.”
Mobius got up on a stool at the front counter as he watched Thor try to give Loki a child-sized apron and Loki attempt to put it on, just to find it couldn’t tie in back and only covered his chest.
Then, it seemed they went over the directions carefully together, with Thor reading the instructions slowly and out loud, as if he were just learning to read for the first time. He was always a slow reader, and Loki wasn’t going to wait around. Instead, he began rolling out the pizza dough with a roller as he carefully looked at the pictures. The dough itself was felt, or some sort of beige fabric like it.
When Thor finished reading, he didn’t immediately begin following the instructions, instead opening up the fake refrigerator and pantries to inspect what materials were at their disposal first.
Mobius fake coughed, just to see if he could break either of them from what they were doing.
Loki ran up first. He looked slightly annoyed to be distracted from his busy, busy task.
“Aren’t you gonna take my order?” Mobius asked.
Loki crossed his arms. “Okay… what do you want?” he asked.
“I just can’t get any good customer service in a place like this, can I?” he sarcastically asked. “Hawaiian sounds good. Think you can make me a large Hawaiian pizza?”
Loki nodded slowly, the gears turning in his head just a little harder to remember what that meant. It was unfortunate that the instructions didn’t include a recipe book.
Mobius watched patiently as Loki put seemingly random velcro toppings from a myriad of labeled pots onto the pizza before putting it in the “oven” to bake.
The “food” was taking ages, especially as the brothers got caught up “cutting” wooden fruit and giggling at the floppy, uncanny, rubber meats in the fridge.
“Ding!” Loki suddenly said out loud. He ran over to grab his oven mitts and take out the pizza from the oven instead.
Then, after “cutting” it, he brought the tray with the pizza to Mobius.
It was Thor’s turn to take over and explain. Loki had gone up and tugged on his sleeve.
“We wanted to make you feel less stressed out!” Thor tried. “So we wanted to make you a pizza!”
Mobius grinned and took an imaginary slice of pizza, “Send my compliments to the chef.”
Loki nearly cried, whining and whimpering when the timer rang, and begging to stay. There was still so much to explore! Even with double the time of a normal exhibit, he still hadn’t played much with the train station or the post office.
Mobius kept him in a cozy hug of a carry, while Thor lifted a giggling, screaming Sylvie over his shoulder and teased her about using her inside voice.
She was crying with laughter and nearly couldn’t breathe through it. Whatever joke had been told might have been the funniest thing she had ever heard, and Thor’s rough, awkward way of carrying her had only exacerbated the condition.
The last event of the day seemed to be more like a checklist item than a real activity. Next to the story cottage that Loki finally got the opportunity to show his daddy, was a puppet show theater.
One of the museum’s employees was put behind the curtain as the littles were corralled and instructed to sit down to watch a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood.
Loki positioned himself in Mobius’ lap, holding his daddy’s hands in place around his chest and playing with his arms.
He felt Mobius come up to rest his chin on his shoulder, but it was hardly registered as anything more than a familiar reminder of his presence and a little bit of extra warmth around him. That was, until Mobius made a little grunt, which turned to a slightly louder, longer one.
Sylvie looked over at them.
Loki stared at her back without any explanation.
“He’s… asleep!” she whisper-giggled.
“Shh… let him. He’s worked hard,” Sam told them.
Loki held his daddy’s hand a little tighter.

You’d been with Loki for quite a while
The two of you had become quite unlikely partners, but neither of you would change it
The God was so smitten with everything about you
The pet names you used, how you seemed to cast away their “doom and gloom” demeanor, even the way you’d surprise them with flowers some days
Loki had no idea how to go about courting a Midgardian; and Thor proved to be of no help
It took a while before they accepted that they could trust you, and they could let go of the self sabotaging habits, but you two persisted
Which brought you to where you currently were; sharing a place in Manhattan
Your partner spared no expense and insisted that everything be decorated to your liking
Dark green and (f/c) adorned your personal palace, accented by gold fixtures and weaponry
The Avengers agreed to let Loki move out of the tower, so long as they were still close and could be overseen easily
It wasn’t ideal, but they were gaining the team’s trust
Most days while you were at work, Loki spent their time reading in your apartment
The book shop just a few streets down had grown quite fond of you two, always welcoming you with friendly smiles
If they weren’t reading, they spent their time walking about the apartment in one of their other forms
You knew Loki was never completely cis, and you knew about their female form, but you’d yet to see it
In the summer you had only gotten glimpses of their Frost Giant form, usually just hands or the arm that was closest to you; always keeping you from overheating
The night you saw their other form was one you’d remember forever
You were a bit later than usual getting home from work, the sun having long disappeared by the time you reached the apartment
The opening of your front door was masked by the sound of music coming from the living room
When you entered, you had paused in slight shock with what you found
A gorgeous woman dancing barefoot, in a long robe, a glass of wine in hand
Anybody else would’ve been scared out of their mind, but you’d recognize the long black hair anywhere
“Darling?”
A green halo appeared quickly, seamlessly moving up her body as she turned to face you, the more familiar form greeting your arrival
“I-I… didn’t hear you come in. How was work?” They asked, placing the glass on the nearest surface
You gave a speed run of the events, all mundane, and began to hand over the flowers
“I was thinking maybe we could go out for dinner later this week?”
Their face lit up as they sniffed the flowers; you always knew how to treat them
“That sounds rather nice, actually,”
“I have tomorrow off. What do you say we go shopping? Maybe we’ll find a nice dress — only if you want to.”
A meek smile crossed your features as you took their hand, giving a reassuring squeeze to let them know it was alright
“You… it doesn’t weird you out? That I’m… well…”
“Of course not, love, why would it? I’ll admit, I’ve known about this form for a bit — I just didn’t want you to feel pressured to be open with me. And if you’re still not ready, that’s okay — I fell in love with you. Whatever that may look like, it’s still you.”
The shy flush had turned into a bright smile as the green ring appeared again. This time, you got to see everything happen.
Their jet black waves began to get longer, facial features rounding, and their height decreasing just slightly. The broad shoulders you’d become familiar with changing shape and tone; still muscular, but a bit smaller.
Before you stood your love like you’d never seen her before
It felt like your heart was attempting to escape through your mouth, a new heaviness stalling your words
Suddenly you felt like a lovesick teenager all over again
“Is it too much? I can change—” you noted the higher pitch in her voice, like music to your ears
“No, you’re just so gorgeous… I’m really at a loss for words.”
She smiled, giving you a quick kiss on the cheek and pulling you to the couch to share a drink

The sounds of sparring filled the training room as Thor tried to kick your ass. He was very strong, but you were very fast, Loki thought.
He saw from afar, observing how you dodged every one of Thor’s movements. Still, he knew you wouldn’t win. Very few had actually won over him, and Loki wasn’t in the list —and if he couldn’t do it, much less you, who has had your good dosage of getting completely beaten by him, in any kind of training.
But watching you train was fun. You were not even trying to dodge the hits at some point, earning some fists to your nose and stomach. Thor hit too hard and you flew a few meters away before landing on your back on the ground, and Loki jumped from his place. He was getting ready to summon all of his curses at once and defend you from his brute and idiotic brother, who did not seem to understand how fragile mortals are. Thor walked to you worriedly, and kneeled by your side, asking you something —probably if you were fine, Loki wouldn’t know; he was too far away and through two-foot thick compact glasses. As you reached for Thor’s hand, Loki saw everything develop too quickly to catch with his bare eye. In one second you were on the ground, defeated, and the next one you had pinned Thor down to the ground, under you.
He was too big in comparison with you, but he still seemed like he couldn’t move. Loki furrowed his brows, thinking he was letting you win —guilt, or something. But no. Because Loki could see, Thor was truly struggling.
You held him with one hand on his chest, barely putting any pressure, and your two legs around his stomach with your ass not even touching him, and yet not a single inch of him seemed to be able to move. Loki could see your mocking face, and smirked. How did you do that? Thor’s face grew more and more distressed, and finally blurted out a surrender.
Triumphantly, you got up and helped him up with a hand. He looked at you untrustingly, and Loki couldn’t hear what you started talking about, but he was sure it was about what you just did.
Loki did not ask his brother about it. He knew he’d say something like “I let them win, of course”. But he saw it. That wasn’t the truth.
Along the week, he kept on observing you. Every action you did, every word you said, every glance you gave to anything. He paid extreme attention —it wasn’t such a difficult task anyway, he was interested in you to begin with and this only gave him another excuse—, and you gave him no answer whatsoever. Whatever you did to Thor, was a well kept asset that you didn’t use at all.
Why the Hel did you win against Thor?
One good night you were talking with him after dinner, still on the table, sharing a piece of chocolate cake and listening to some music. You looked gorgeous, that was all he could think of. He observed that little spark of your eyes when you look at him, he admired the way your outfit looked in contrast with your skin, he marveled at the sound of your voice, smoothing and healing, so eager to say everything you thought out loud and share it with him.
He surely was lost.
You yawned and rested your head on the heel of your hands, and asked him something about the book you were reading at the same time —you had convinced him to join a bookclub with you, and he couldn’t deny you anything —not even if that implied socializing once a week with people he didn’t know and didn’t intend to know any further.
“Are you getting sleepy, sunshine?”, he chuckled, and you got flustered and laughed awkwardly.
“It’s been a long day, but I don’t want to go to sleep. I want to be with you here”, you said in a pout, and his chest ached, burning with the need of holding you all night long and watching your chest rise and fall with your light breathing.
“Perhaps you would like to move the conversation to the couch?”, he suggested, and you yawned again.
“I don’t want to fall asleep there. The rest of the team will see me drooling over the pillowcases next morning”, you said, and as if realization hit you like a lightning, you added, “let’s go to my room. We can keep talking there and If I fall asleep I’ll be in bed”.
“What?”, muttered Loki. No, he could not go to your room to chat until you fell asleep. He knew how painful it would be to know you fell asleep and having to reluctantly walk away and leave you to sleep alone and cozily in your room, while he had to return to the cold and lonely bed that awaited for him every night. He wanted to hold you, so, so badly, it was pathetic. “No need, I’m actually quite tired myself, so, I’ll go back to my room”, he said, getting up. You stopped him, grabbing his hand.
“Wait”, you said, and he stopped in place and didn’t let go of your hand. You didn’t either. He almost let out a sigh, at how your warm palm felt against his —how your fingers would have felt intertwined with his. “Let’s have a sleep-over”, you proposed, and his breath hitched.
“Are you sure?”, he asked, as if you asked for anything other than just a friendly slumber party. “I’ve never been in a sleep-over with you before”.
“It’s gonna be fun, we can watch some movies, and play some games”, you said, still with your hand on his. You had started walking towards the corridor, and he followed you mindlessly.
“I’m sure it’ll be”, he nodded, “then, let me grab something to sleep in. Do you have extra space for another mattress?”, you seemed to laugh at his question.
“Loki, I have a king sized bed. I’m sure it’ll do just fine for the two of us”.
He swallowed thickly. Now, he had gotten in trouble. He walked right into it. He should’ve said no at the first sign of the possibility of sharing a room with you for any amount of time —oh, he was an idiot, and he was lost. There was no way he could actually sleep at all having you so close to him. His heart would beat too strongly and you’d notice because you would be sleeping on the same mattress as him —under the same blankets. Did you wear pajamas, or did you sleep naked? He shivered at the thought and pushed it far, far away.
So, about fifteen minutes after you two were already in your room, you went to the bathroom to change —he sighed in relief; you did wear pajamas. He wiggled his shoulders around and with a green halo of lights around him, he was already changed too.
Maybe this was the moment to ask you about how you won against Thor, he thought.
You sorted through some movies, and commented briefly over what each one was about. He was sitting still, not relaxed at all, over the not-king-sized-at-all bed you owned. It was enough for the two of you, yes, but it implied you’d actually get close. Close and still all night, if none of you wanted to accidentally touch the other in their sleep.
“I saw you training last week”, he started, “with Thor”.
“Oh”, you raised your eyebrows. “What did you think?”.
“It’s been haunting me ever since”.
“Is that a good thing?”, you laughed sincerely. He smiled too, almost a reflex of mirroring your happiness with his own —as if you fed smiles to him and he would starve otherwise.
“Yes. But it’s… confusing to say the least”, he stated. You sighed. “Surely you couldn’t have won by strength. If that’s so, you should win against me too, and you’ve never achieved it”.
“Well… not exactly strength. Let’s say he let me win”, you said, leaving the movies to the side and facing him completely. He admired your features under the warm light of your bed stand and some of the scented candles you had lit. He chuckled.
“He didn’t let you win. He never lets anyone win, not even a mortal”.
“Oh, but he did, though”, you grinned mischievously, and his smile dropped in amusement. Could you do that? What were you hiding? Your energy had completely changed from one moment to the other, and he was a little too into it.
“How so?”.
“Want me to show you? I propose a fight right here”.
“I’m always up for a fight, darling. But wouldn’t you rather we move to the training…?”, but as he began proposing, a pillow hit his head strongly and pushed him down the bed. He got up from the floor with a huge grin and another pillow on his hand. “Let the fight begin, then”.
You did some mindlessly fun pillow fight, where none of you minded at all to be gentle with the other. He contained his strength to not hurt you, but you put up a good fight and he wasn’t about letting you win that easily either.
Finally, you’ve gotten to the position you won against Thor with. You pinned Loki to the bed, your legs this time a little lower, right over his hips. Your hand was taking all of your body weight, resting on his abdomen. Your eyes rested on his and his expressions instantly relaxed, although he couldn’t deny the burning heat he was feeling at the sight of you on top of him.
His hair was a mess and his chest raised up and down strongly, still agitated from the game, and you were breathless too —yet he felt all of the air on his lungs dissipate for different reasons—everything was feeling too hot at the same time, a thick line of sweat over his forehead hinting him maybe he needed to take a breather.
Your legs were still laying over his hips with a feather-light weight, barely even touching his trousers with your own, and he had to gather all of his strength and self-control not to think of how it would feel to have your skin grazing over and over and over—no. He could not think of that, you’d notice immediately.
You reached his face, closer and closer. He thought for a moment you might even kiss him, yet he didn’t dare closing his eyes and waiting for it, not yet. He had to be sure—and how lucky he was that he didn’t, because you didn’t kiss him. You stayed like that, and he began to lose his patience. He wasn’t sure how long he could pretend he wasn’t craving every inch of you, to pin you down back and eat your flesh with the carnal desire that boiled his cold blood.
“Well? You’re not fighting”, he said in a whisper. He smirked, and he moved his legs ever so subtly to quickly shift positions and pin you down, getting the control back in the fight and talking your ass off his hips —and lower, if you were careless enough. But suddenly, your eyes showed a little trace of a grey and bright light around the iris, and he felt almost hypnotized by it in the half second it happened.
“Stay still”, you commanded in a whisper. He suddenly felt all of his muscles rigid in place, avoiding him to move a single inch. It felt like a painless cramp in his whole body. He was trying to move and, not only his body wouldn’t answer, it would also fight back itself. “Good boy”, you smirked, and he not only blushed from head to toes, but he found himself unable to avoid the thing he wanted to avoid the most —something hardening under where you were sitting so comfortably.
“What… what are you doing?”, he growled, fighting with all the intensity he could muster, all of his body pressuring itself and not answering to his own commands. Only yours.
“What? Can’t move?”, you smirked harder, and lowered your ass a little more, letting him know you have noticed, and you were more than alright with it. “Are you enjoying this, dear?”.
“How are you… doing this?”, he said in between gasps, breath hitching and catching itself on the pit of his throat. It didn’t matter if he wanted to rock his hips, he couldn’t anyway. The tension had begun to make his neck hurt, and all of his muscles were contracted and flexing in agony for freedom. But seeing you so dominantly on top of him, a whole new facet of you he’s only seen in his dreams… if he weren’t so sure he’d go to Hel, he’d be sure this was Valhalla itself. A little tortuous, but he knew better than anyone that pain was part of the appeal.
He started babbling, and talking nonsense about how you were doing that, and if you were using any kind of enchantments, but you shushed him, getting closer and closer to his face. Chest to chest, you leaned over him with both hands to the sides of his head and whispered to his ear,
“Stop talking”.
As he predicted, he couldn’t make a sound after that. He groaned and his own mouth muffled his voice. He tried to escape your enchantment by concentrating his seiðr on the tip of his fingers—but it didn’t work anyways. You planted a kiss to his cheek, and sat up again, dropping more weight to where he needed the pressure the most, and he inadvertently muffled a moan. He wanted you to sit right there and move your hips back and forth, he wanted you to grind against him and feel you in all the ways he always desired; the mere thought of that, making his boner even harder and more painful. You didn’t move too much, and he muffled another groan of desperation. His heartbeat raised even more, if that was possible, and he was sweating buckets, unable to hide how highly turned on he was by now.
“Enough now”, you ended your enchantments, and all of the contained force he had packed up jumped in place, coming back to his abilities by mindlessly pinning you against the mattress and grabbing you by the arms —surely you’d have bruises on your skin after that.
You squealed, but didn’t seem too scared by it. He was the one on top of you now, but he was grabbing you gently, the violent outburst not being from his actual control but a packed gathering of strength he used to try to escape your magic. You wiggled in place, but he didn’t let you move. Significantly bigger than you, he didn’t need to use magic to pin you down and bond you.
“You can enchant people”, he said with a grin.
“This seems to amuse you”, you observed. “Aren’t you mad?”.
“Why would I be mad?”.
“I made you lose all control in your body. People don’t like to take orders. I never actually use my powers, unless necessary”.
Loki hummed, a smirk plastered on his face. You glanced down at him—he was still painfully hard, and you swallowed, a nervousness you didn’t show while commanding him, like you knew your place wasn’t to be on top of the situation anymore.
“I don’t know if you agree…”, he said in a low voice, dropping it to a harsh whisper, “but this seems extremely necessary”.
“Oh, do you want this?”, you whispered too, your voice higher than before. He could feel you pulsating between his legs, trying to move your hips and containing yourself the best you could. He watched your face again —red, flustered, sweaty, needy.
“Taking orders? Only from you. If you’ll take me”, he said, raising his eyebrows, searching for approval. You reached his face and kissed him deeply, and he felt his knees weaken and a warmth and tingling on his entire body. You muttered from his lips,
“Then strip and keel”.

can you do a Loki x reader smut, where Loki is jealous of Thor because Y/n has been spending more time with him.
OMG YES
I love this suggestion and I’ve been meaning to write it forever sorry it took so long but here it is.
Undivided Attention
Summary: lately you’d been spending all your time with Thor as his royal advisor so you decided to make it up to Loki. Letting him remind you who you belong to
Warnings: Smut, sub/dom dynamics, exhibitionistm, Loki’s a switch, +18, if you don’t like it don’t read
Tumblr media
You were a royal advisor to both princes, which meant that despite being Loki’s girlfriend you still had to divide your time between him and Thor equally. Something Loki absolutely despised, he had often complained wondering why some other advisor couldn’t help Thor but Odin had hand picked you for them both. So your attention remained divided.
And Loki had come to terms with it the best way he could, which meant he’d often sneak you away to have lunch with him or stab Thor mildly that way you guys could get away for an hour of two. But those moments had become distant memories to a very jealous Loki.
These past few weeks it seemed that Loki was seeing you less and less while Thor spent nearly all day with you. You were helping him to prepare for an event with the other realms where he’d represent Asgard as leader. It took almost all your time, the only moments you and Loki had alone were the early mornings. And even then Thor found a way to ruin those.
Loki woke up nestling his face into the crook of your neck, inhaling your soft scent. A smile playing at his lips at the mix of your scent and his forming a lovely contrast. It was a rare scent these days. When you came to bed you often smelled vaguely of Thor’s musk, something that made him twist inside and out.
“Morning Darling.” He hummed, peppering soft kisses across your collar bone, shifting so that he was laying on your chest. Your eyes fluttered open, giving him a sleepy smile.
“Morning.” You leaned up, brushing your lips against his. He tried to deepen it but you made a small noise of protest, lightly pulling him off. “I have to get ready.” You said in a regretful voice.
Loki frowned, deep creases forming across his brow. You reached up to smooth them out, making him lean into your touch. “You should just spend all day with me.” He kissed your palm, trailing his lips up your arm, to your cheek and settling on your lips. “Gods know I deserve it.” He added, a smirk on his lips.
You were about to answer when the door to his room was shoved roughly open. Both you and Loki jumped at the sudden noise, whipping around to see what the source of the noise was. Thor had barged in a panicked look on his face. “Lady y/n I acquire your assistance!”
Loki looked at his brother with an irritated expression. “We’re kind of in the middle of things.”
“It will have to wait dear brother.” Thor said, striding over to your side of the bed. He pulled you out from under Loki, picking you up bridal style in his arms. You squeaked at the action, hands flying to grip his shoulders for support. “I need her now!”
“Wait I’m not dressed!” Your protested, covering yourself the best you could with your arms. You were wearing one of your flimsy nightgowns that Loki had had made for you, while it was pretty it left little to the imagination.
Thor gave you a wide smile. “I think you look ravishing like this.” You flushed at his comment. “But if you insist you can borrow something of mine to wear.” You opened your mouth to protest but Thor had already swept you out of the room. Leaving a very infuriated Loki to drown in jealousy and malice.
You spent the rest of the day at Thor’s side dressed in one of his old tunics. It was the smallest he had and yet it still slipped off your shoulder, you had cinched it as your waist trying to accommodate it the best you could. But the day was so busy you never found time to change into something of your own.
You had helped Thor with his speech, decorations for the hall and the dinner menu. Now you were helping him practice for the first dance of the event. All the Odin’s were present, including your very irritated boyfriend. Loki stood behind his mother’s throne, hands clasped tightly in front of him as he watched you and Thor with narrowed eyes.
He didn’t miss the way that Thor smiled brightly at you, or how at times his hand would slip a little lower than your waist. You would just give Thor a smile when that happened, laughing as you moved his hand back up to its place on your hip. Reminding him if he tried that again you’d cut his hand off, Thor laughed at your threat. But Loki didn’t hear the threat, all he saw were two people dancing and laughing, looking like the perfect asgardian couple in matching colors.
Even Odin seemed to think so. He smiled and Frigga, whispering in a low tone he didn’t think that Loki could hear. “They look perfect together. They would make an excellent king and queen.” Frigga frowned at this, glancing over her shoulder to see if Loki had overheard. He had, but he gave no inclination of it, other than the nail indentation in his palms from how hard he was restraining himself.
The dance ended, you and Thor bowed to one another as it was customary to do so. The band began to exit and Frigga and Odin walked down the steps to where you both were standing. Loki remained behind his mother’s throne, not wanting to be anywhere near his golden brother. Odin gave you a soft smile. “Thank you y/n that was wonderful. Frigga and I deeply appreciate how hard you’ve been working these past few days.” She nodded in agreement. “So you have the rest of the day off, we’ll help Thor from here.”
You fought back an excited smile and gave a gracious nod of your head. Waiting for the three of them to exit before hiking up your skirt and running over to Loki. You expected to see him excited by the news but he was solemnly starring to the side, not even acknowledging your presence.
You reached for him, but he turned his head away. “What’s wrong my beloved?” You asked in a soft voice.
“You look like you belong to Thor.” He responded in a cold tone. You knew that his words were meant to hurt you but you noticed the sadness and jealousy that lingered in his tone.
“I only belong to the one true ruler of Asgard.” You responded. Loki let his lip curl slightly at your remark, loving that you had completely dismissed Thor. He still kept his gaze to the side, only glancing at you for a few moments.
“And who may that be.” He asked in a low voice.
“You.”
You moved closer to him, lopping your arms around his neck, Loki’s hands remained at his side, doing his best to remain uninterested in you. Trying to ignore you like you had done to him all week. You picked up on the game he was playing, smiling to yourself at his jealous actions. You began to leave soft open mouth kisses across his jaw, making his hands slide up to grip the curve of your hips.
“You know I would have much rather spent all my time with you.” You mumbled in between your kisses. Your hand came up to grip the ends of his hair pulling them slightly. “I spent all day thinking about you.” He preened at your attention, gladly craning his neck upward to give you better access. “Did you miss me my darling?” He let out a small whine at your pet name. “Were you upset that I wasnt giving you the attention you deserve?” You asked, hand lazily making its way down his chest, skimming the growing bulge in his pants. “The attention you are worthy of.” You squeezed, making his eyes close at the subtle pleasure.
As much as Loki wanted to give into your teasing and praise, he still had a seed of jealousy in his chest. And smelling Thor’s musk on you did nothing to ease that feeling. Loki opened his eyes to look down on you. “You smell like Thor.”
You leaned up and nipped at his ear, making him shiver as he felt your warm breath fan his neck. “Why don’t you do something about it then?”
The minute those words left your mouth Loki pulled you close to him, using his magic to transport you both back his bedroom. He shoved you back onto the bed, you giggled as you lightly bounced, settling among the pillows. Loki crawled on top of you, taking your bottom lip between his teeth. He pulled it back with a slight nip before releasing it. “First things first.” He reached down and with unprecedented strength ripped Thor’s borrowed tunic in two.
You gasped and felt yourself clench at the animalistic display of power. And since you had nothing under Loki could see how much you reacted. He felt his pants grow tighter, as he watched you squirm underneath him waiting for his next move. His hands attached themselves to your breasts, kneading the soft mounds and rolling your buds in between his nipple fingers. You whined at the action, letting your hands fan our across his chest, thumbing his nipples over his clothes.
You moved to take off his shirt but he stopped you, looking at you with a devious smirk. “Not tonight love.” He cooed as his hand slid from the valley of your breast to hover over where you needed him the most.
“Please.” You begged, head already clouded with pleasure.
“Please what?” He teased, fingers tracing your hip bone.
“Please your highness.” You whined, looking up at him through your lashes. His mouth came crashing down on yours at the same that he plunged three fingers into your wet cunt. He swallowed your moans, pumping his fingers at an unforgiving pace. Your back arched off the bed, trying to pull his fingers even deeper. You could feel the coldness of his rings inside your warmth. He was still wearing them from earlier when he had to dress up for the mock dance. His fingers curled inside of you roughly. Usually Loki was a very tender and submissive lover but it seemed his jealously had brought out a dominance in him. And it had you incredible wet, you were begging him to let you come but Loki just smirked.
He removed his fingers suddenly, letting his rings brush your clit as the exited, making you buck up at whine. He brought his fingers up to his mouth and swirled his tongue around them, making a show as tasted your arousal. “More heavenly than any nectar.” His eyes closed at the taste, he teased you with sinful moans. You were frustrated from his teasing, you sat up pulling his head back by his hair. His cock throbbed at your dominance, fully ready to submit to you.
“Why don’t you give us what we both need?” You asked, making Loki stand up with you. You walked over to the large window in his room, you let your back press against the cool glass. Loki moved with you, your hands pulling him flush against you, his still clothed cock pressing into your lower stomach. You craned your neck back to look out the window and Loki followed your gaze. From his window you could see the streets of Asgard, of people walking through their days. Even Thor was out, laughing with his friends at an outdoor pub. “Anyone that happens to look up can see us.” You explained, reaching down to slip his cock out of his pants.
His head flew back at your touch, your hand pumping him at an intentionally slow pace. “So why don’t you show all of Asgard who I belong to?” He practically growled at your statement, cock twitching in your hand, leaking precum all over. You mirrored his actions from earlier, licking his cum off your fingers as you maintained eye contact. “What are you waiting for your highness?”
Loki smirked, pushing into you in one motion, bottom out. Your mouth opened in a silent scream, one leg coming up to lock behind his back. “Absolutely nothing.” Loki began to roughly thrust into you, the tip of his cock hitting your cervix with every movement.
“Oh gods.” You moaned, hands clawing at his back, he groaned as he felt you mark him. Your breasts were bouncing with every movement, his chest rubbing against your nipples stimulated you both. You matched his movements trying to increase both of your pleasures. You came hard, squeezing him in the most delicious way, Loki looked down to see your pussy fluttering as it shot out a clear liquid across his lower abdomen.
“Fuck.” He mumbled, watching as the last of your release dropped out onto the floor below you both. You were panting hard, but still bouncing yourself on his cock. Loki was close but he wanted to go for a little longer, it had been so long since he been with you like this. He pulled out and roughly flipped you so you your front was facing the window.
“Thor could see.” You moaned, feeling the coldness of the glass against your breasts. Loki pushed you up even closer to the glass, his hand coming to wrap around your neck.
“That’s the whole point.” He shoved himself back into you. His hips snapping back and for and an unforgiving pace. Your breath fogged up the glass but you could still see Loki’s reflection, moaning as you watched him abuse your pussy. “Who’s making you feel this good.” Loki asked, pushing himself as deep as he could with each word.
“You!” You screamed out.
“And who do you belong to?”
“You! Only you Loki!”
He bit down on your neck, licking the pain away as he sucked a deep mark in a place that couldn’t he hidden. “That’s right princess. Let all of Asgard know who you belong to.” You let out a sting of moans, Loki’s name being the only clear word. You could feel Loki’s hips slow their assault, knowing he was close to coming, he pushed as deep as he could before releasing. You could feel his cum stain your insides, mixing with your second release.
Loki slowly pulled out watching as your hole clenched around nothing, pushing his cum out. It dripped down your thighs, marking you all over as his. He turned you around gently, his roughness now replaced with his usual demeanor. He kissed you deeply, his hand cupping the side of your face. He asked you the same question that he’d been asking all night, needed you to say it with a clear head. “Who do you belong to?”
“Only you.” He hummed at your answer, playing with your hair as he turned your head to face the window. He kept your body covered by his as he did so.
“And now all of Asgard knows.” You looked out the window to see almost all of the people on the streets looking up at the window. But at Loki’s pointed glare they turned away and went back to what they were doing. Loki turned you back to face him, you pulled him down to your level and pushed him against the glass. He looked at you with wide eyes.
“Why don’t we show all of Asgard who you belong to?” You asked pulling his hips to meet yours roughly. Loki smirked, hands gripping your waist tightly.
“Gladly.”

death of me.
| loki x reader | angst | fluff |
anon requested. Imagine s/o has the same powers like Wanda and after the death of Loki she made her own reality where he was alive.
a/n: this one took me a long time to get to, and I altered the request a bit, but here it is! ❤️✨
cw: mentions of death/murder (for the sake of humanity and otherwise), mentions of blood
Tumblr media
Loki’s death had changed you.
After losing the love of your life, you were never the same. You would’ve burned down the world for one more second with him. The grief ripped a hole in you, and you ripped a hole in reality.
That’s how you ended up in a fake Asgard, in a fake life, with a fake Loki. But it felt so real.
You were in love again, running through the halls of the palace in gowns, chasing your lover, the god of mischief. You squealed as he wrapped his arms around you, kissing you passionately.
“I love you!” Loki kissed your cheeks, making you shriek with giggles. Thor smiled at the two of you, the young lovers and leaders of the Aesir realm.
Your wedding was the biggest celebration the realm had ever had. White flowers filled the golden halls of the palace, stars glittering over everything. You were surrounded by everyone who cared about you, celebrating your starstruck love. Music, dancing, and feasting filled the city, the festival of your marriage bringing everyone together.
You and Loki were beloved leaders. Your subjects were always welcomed in the palace, and the gardens, surrounding you with love.
You and Loki sat on the throne, and he smiled as he placed his golden helm on your head. You giggled, magically changing your outfit to match his, green and black leather. Laughter echoed in the halls, and the royal guards watched you both in amusement.
Those were the happy memories.
Loki was stuck in the past, and you were stuck in your fake reality. The instruction of the Time Variance Authority weighed heavy on him. You have to kill Y/N. She’s a threat to space and time, and you must kill her now before she rips a hole in my reality. Loki was sick at the thought of killing you, the love of his life, before you even had the opportunity to commit your war crimes.
“What will she do?” Loki asked, and the leader sighed.
“After your death, she rips a hole in reality. She enslaves an entire realm to live in her memory fantasy of having you alive again.”
“It’s in the past? What memories does she hold?” Loki asked. The two of you were together, and you were in love, but it was still the early stages of your relationship, and he had no idea what was to come.
“Your wedding, and your rule over Asgard.”
Loki’s felt his heart crack, breaking for you. For your grief, for your pain, and for everything he was about to rob the two of you of.
“You must do it, Loki. I know you love her, but it is your duty. The longer you wait, the harder it will be for you. If it is not done by tomorrow, you will have failed.”
Loki went home to you, and you ran to him as soon as you heard the door open. Your arms went around his neck, and he caught you as you jumped into him. The pain that spread through his chest was suffocating, and he held you tightly.
“Loki, I made cookies! Come here, you’re going to love them. I used chocolate, your favorite!” You announced, taking his hand and pulling him into your shared kitchen, unsuspecting of Loki’s mission.
You beamed as you held out a plate to him, and he took one off the top. He bit into it, savoring the efforts of your love. He kissed you sweetly, and when he pulled away, you saw the sadness in his eyes.
“Loki, what is it?” you asked, setting down the tray and reaching out to touch him. A shaky breath left the young god, tears welling at his waterline.
“It’s you.”
“It’s me? Are you breaking up with me? What have I done, Loki?” You asked in disbelief, your mind somersaulting over every action of the last few weeks.
“You’ve done nothing wrong. It’s what you will do.”
The TVA. Loki’s conditional release from being a permanent resident of a Valhallan grave was using his magic for good. You supported him, but now he was frightening you.
“What have I done in the future?” You asked softly, and Loki looked at you in misery.
“You enslave the entire Asgardian realm. You hold them hostage, torturing them. You rip a hole in reality, and make everything collapse. You destroy everything,” Loki explained with a sob.
You stared at him in shock, processing. You knew what he told you was true, because they could see the future far before you could ever anticipate. You just couldn’t imagine why you would do that. You were good, and you loved Loki, and loved his people. You never imagined yourself becoming evil, or a villain.
“Why? What turns me evil?”
Loki looked down at the floor, a deep sigh leaving him. You held his face and made him look at you. You had to know.
“I die in battle, protecting my brother. The grief changes you. We get married, we become rulers of Asgard, and you can’t handle the loss. You tear a hole in reality to live in your memories of us. You love me too much.”
You were crying with Loki now, understanding why he was so upset.
“I love you, and I don’t blame you,” he whispered, kissing your lips. You kissed him back, emotion and heartbreak washing over the two of you.
“You have to stop me, Loki.”
“I know,” he whispered, and you nodded, swallowing your grief.
“I love you so much, Loki, it’s okay,” you promised, and he sobbed as an Asgardian blade appeared in his hand.
“I don’t want to do this, you’re the love of my life,” Loki breathed, and you squeezed his hand, kissing him for the last time.
“You have to. I love you, Loki. The sun will shine on us again,” you nodded, giving him permission to fulfill his mission.
Loki wept as he pushed the blade through your heart, and you slowly sank into his arms, crimson staining the white dress you wore.
“I’m so sorry.”
Loki took you to Asgard. You were buried in Valhalla, led to rest by the Valkyrie. Loki honored you, and carried on the legacy of your love. Every subject of Asgard told their children about the princess who loved their king so much, she was willing to tear apart reality for him. You became the subject of legend, and a hero for Aesir women.
For Loki, there was never another like you.

Precautionary Surveillance (Loki x Reader)
Or, That Time You and Loki Became Friends
Word Count: 2.8k
Warnings: none :)
A/N: this is platonic (and gender neutral! :D )
As this is my first imagine, I kind of just wanted to establish how the reader first meets Loki, but I’ve got plenty more fluff in the works! ;)
also this takes place post-Ragnarok, but Infinity War doesn’t exist here, shHHHH
Tumblr media
Despite the long list of risks and expectations that came with living with the Avengers in their compound, you never thought that babysitting Loki would be included. And yet, a mere two weeks after having moved into the compound, Tony sheepishly approached you with the news.
He didn’t word-for-word call it ‘babysitting’ of course, but you knew it was definitely implied.
“Think of it as... precautionary surveillance.” Tony had explained to you that morning as he packed a small backpack, supposedly containing enough supplies to last for a week-long mission. “Or if that’s too much, just be normal roommates. But check in on him every few hours. Make sure he’s not destroying anything. And don’t let him go out. Or to my lab. Or Bruce’s. Or the roof-”
“Okay, I get it Tony,” you rolled your eyes as you heaved out a sigh. “You want me to babysit Loki.”
Tony shrugged, and patted your shoulder empathetically before zipping up his backpack. “Your words, kid. Not mine. Like I said, it’s just precautionary surveillance, we’ll be back before you know it.”
“I don’t understand why you can’t just bring him along with you!” You protested, throwing your hands up in the air. “His fighting skills and abilities would be really useful for your mission, you know that right?”
You were fine with the fact that Tony and Steve weren’t confident enough in your fighting abilities to bring you along on missions just yet -- frankly, you were completely happy staying behind and burying your nose in a book. But now Tony wanted you to babysit Loki, going so far as asking you to log any ‘suspicious activity’ from the god. You thought the entire thing was ridiculous.
“You know why, Y/N.” Tony began sternly, slinging his backpack over his shoulder and starting towards the quinjet hangar. He was walking briskly, and you scowled as you had to practically run after him. “The New York Incident? The two-hundred or so times he’s betrayed Thor? That time he stuck his dad in an old folks home here and just paraded around Asgard in disguise for two years?”
“New York was nearly ten years ago!” You protested. “Look at him now, all he does is putter around the compound in sweatpants because you won’t let him out-”
Tony sighed loudly, cutting you off mid-sentence. “Look, I know you’re new here and you mean well, but we don’t trust him Y/N. Thor dragged him here because Asgard’s gone and there’s nowhere else for them to go, but Loki is not one of us. It’s going to be a damn long time before any of us think anything different of him.”
You glowered at Tony, fighting the tiny glow of anger that sparked in your heart when you heard him talk about Loki like that.
You had stolen glances at Loki last week when he thought no one else was looking, and you knew he was far from the dysfunctional maniac who tried to take over New York all those years ago. Sure, the dysfunctional part may still remain, but he was far from a maniac -- you could see that in his features when he sat on the couch alone that day, flipping through a small worn book.
He looked... lost. Empty almost, as if any possibility of a joyful life had been stripped from him. It hurt your heart to see someone sit with their own melancholy the way Loki did. The fact that no one else in the Compound trusted him -- evident from the fact that you were being put on babysitting duty this instant -- didn’t make things any better.
“Take care of yourself, kid.” Tony said, pulling you in for a fairly awkward one-armed hug. “Keep an eye on Loki, but don’t do anything stupid.”
You frowned. “What does that mean?”
“Just... keep your distance from him.”
Tony’s words brought the image of Loki sitting alone in sadness back to the front of your mind, and you decided right then and there that you were going to do exactly the opposite of what Tony was suggesting.
The first day felt like an eternity. Loki remained in his room with the door shut, and with no one else to chat with and pass the time, time seemed to crawl at an eerily slow pace.
You made pasta for dinner. You figured the sound of pots, pans, and kitchen utensils clanging every now and then as you cooked would summon the lonely Asgardian out of his room to eat at the very least, and you couldn’t help the little sting of disappointment that appeared when you finished your meal as alone as you had been earlier.
After placing your own bowl in the sink, you grabbed Loki’s portion you had set aside and padded down the hall to his room. You tried to ignore the slight tremble in your hand as you knocked on his door.
“Loki?” You asked gently. “You there?”
You were greeted with a faint shuffling noise, but otherwise there was nothing but silence.
“I made you dinner. I haven’t seen you all day, you must be hungry... um... I mean, you don’t have to eat of course if you don’t want to, but I’ll just... I’ll leave this here at your door if you want it. No pressure.”
You felt fire rush to your cheeks as you cursed yourself silently for rambling, and carefully set the bowl of pasta on the floor.
“If you want anything,” you added quickly in a voice that was barely louder than a whisper. “More food, tea, some company... I’m in the other room.”
You stood frozen at Loki’s door for a moment, waiting for any sort of response. Earning nothing but more silence, you nodded to yourself before turning on your heel and heading back for the kitchen.
You looked back over your shoulder before you rounded the corner at the end of the hall, and the pasta bowl was gone. You couldn’t help but smile to yourself.
The second and third day passed much like the first. If it weren’t for the fact that Loki was constantly on your mind, it would’ve felt like you had the entire place to yourself. You would have enjoyed the quiet, but there was a part of you that couldn’t stop worrying about Loki.
After the god failed to leave his room once again, you brought dinner to his door which was hastily accompanied by another short little babble of an invitation to join you in the living room if he wished. Just like day one, you were greeted with silence and a meal that vanished out of the hall just before you turned the corner.
On the fourth day, you couldn’t get Loki out of your head no matter how hard you tried. Was he lonely? Bored? Did he sleep the entire day? Did he even sleep at all? The rooms in the Compound were just about the same: spacious, yet minimal in decoration. Everyone got a TV and a small bookshelf in the corner, but that was about it. Judging by the fact that Tony and the rest of the Avengers weren’t allowing Loki to leave the Compound, you figured he probably didn’t have much for entertainment.
Before you could convince yourself otherwise, you dashed off to your beloved little bookstore in the city. You ransacked the shelves for anything you felt Loki would’ve liked, as well as books you adored and would’ve wholeheartedly recommended to anyone else. If Loki was going to spend all day in his room, he deserved to have new books to keep him company, at the very least.
Two hours later you returned home, your shoulder aching from the countless books that were weighing you down in the best way, and to your surprise you found Loki with his back to you in the kitchen.
Was he... doing the dishes for you?
You dropped your tote bag of books to the ground in surprise, and Loki flinched almost imperceptibly at the dull thud that echoed throughout the open space of the Compound.
“Hi,” You managed breathlessly as the god turned and looked at you with wide eyes for the briefest second. You blinked, and just like that Loki had regained his cool composure. “You’ve finally come out of your room.”
Loki opened his mouth to reply, his eyes scanning the room as he searched for an excuse. After a moment of silence, he sighed.
“Thank you for the meals. I appreciate it.”
You took off your coat and hung it on the chair as you approached him. Your heart sank ever so slightly as you caught Loki take the smallest step back.
“Of course, I mean... we all gotta eat right?” You laughed quietly and looked away as you ran a hand through your hair. “You don’t have to clean up, I can do that.”
“It was the least I could do in return.”
The silence that grew between the two of you seemed to amplify with every passing second. Loki nodded, almost out of resignation, and began to walk back to his room without a word.
Now was your chance, if you wanted to make him feel welcome like you had hoped to.
“Wait!” Your voice came out more as a squeak and you tried your best to ignore the fire that rose to your cheeks. “I, uh, I got these for you.”
As you bent down to retrieve your fallen bag of books, you heard quiet careful steps as Loki approached you cautiously. He kept his distance, but leaned a little closer to you as you began laying all the books out on the table for him to see.
“I picked out a few books I’ve read and love dearly. I figured you could give them a try. And... I, uh, saw you reading Shakespeare last week, so I thought you might like these two.” You gestured to the novels closest to him. “They’re  Ancient Greek tragedies.”
You glanced at Loki, and noticed how he picked up Oedipus Rex and began flipping through the pages carefully, as if the book were to vanish from his hands at any moment.
“I’ve never read this one before,” Loki mused quietly. Your heart skipped a beat as his steady gaze moved to meet your eyes. “When would you like me to return these to you?”
You blinked in surprise. “They’re for you to keep.” You smiled. “I bought them for you.”
You watched as gratitude, then confusion, then what almost looked shame flash across Loki’s features. He almost seem to clutch the book tighter in his grip.
“...Why?”
You pulled out the chair that you were leaning against and sat down with a sigh as you looked up at Loki.
“I don’t like how everyone’s been treating you.” You admitted quietly.
“So this is out of pity?” Loki asked cooly, nodding at the books on the table with narrowed eyes.
“No!” You exclaimed, shaking your head rapidly. “No, Loki, that wasn’t my intention at all. I mean, I’ve only been here two weeks and I could see immediately that everyone keeps their distance from you. You’re not allowed on missions-”
“Neither are you.” Loki cut in. You dismissed him with a wave of your hand.
“Yeah, but I’m the weakest link at the moment. I don’t count.” You replied quickly, trying your best to ignore the intrigue on Loki’s face as he gazed at you. “I saw you last week, reading your book. You looked so lonely. I thought maybe you just wanted some space, but I’ve noticed how the others treat you. Tony and everyone else, they leave you out of everything! They don’t try to include you in conversations at dinner, you wear the same two pairs of clothes everyday because no one’s bothered to get you any decent clothes besides sweatpants. Hell, Tony kept me off this mission to babysit you and it makes me so mad! You’re an adult! You deserve your own freedom, Loki!”
You slammed your hand down on the table in frustration, and winced as your words replayed in your head. You definitely went overboard this time. You should’ve just given Loki the books and left.
You were certain Loki was going to retreat back to his room as he moved away from you and around the table, but to your surprise, he sat down in the chair across from you, his hands clasped carefully together.
“Perhaps Stark is right, this is what I deserve.” He said quietly, breaking the silence that resided between the two of you. “I haven’t exactly been... welcoming to anyone.”
You shook your head. “You lost Asgard, your family... Thor brought you here with the intention of this being your new home. The least everyone could is treat you like a person, not a hostage. This isn’t a prison. You deserve so much more than that.”
“They don’t want me around.” Loki said simply.
“I do.” You held his gaze unwaveringly, and reached out to place your hand gently over his. To your surprise, he didn’t pull away. “I want you around. You matter to me.”
Loki sighed, his eyes fluttering closed for a brief second as he took in your words.
“Thank you.” He spoke slowly. “Your words -- and your actions -- mean more than anything Stark or anyone else has done in the time I’ve been here.”
You smiled in response, giving his hand a gentle squeeze before pushing his books towards him.
“You’ve got plenty of things to do while you’re in your room now.” You grinned nodding towards the books on the table. Anyone else would’ve missed it, but you caught Loki return your smirk for a split second.
“I think I would prefer to read my books out here... with company.”
The following day was nothing like the others. To your surprise, Loki greeted you with a small smile from his spot on the couch as you trudged bleary-eyed into the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
“You look tired.” He remarked quietly as you began searching the cupboards for something to eat. You managed a shrug.
“I don’t sleep that great most nights.” You admitted. You heard Loki get up from the couch, setting his book down on the coffee table gently before approaching you. He still kept some distance -- the kitchen counter did a good job of separating the two of you -- but he leaned in, almost grateful to be in the presence of someone who truly saw him.
“Me neither.” Loki chuckled. “Thor sleeps like the dead, but I rarely sleep well. That’s how my love for books began, actually.”
“Me too!” You exclaimed excitedly. “I’d stay up reading till 1 or 2 AM some nights as a kid. I’d have to use a flashlight and hide under the covers so I wouldn’t wake anyone up.”
That earned a genuine laugh from Loki, whose smile suddenly began to look like sunshine in your eyes.
“I used magic to see in the dark, but hiding under the covers was the only way I could read at night without waking Thor up.”
“You shared a room with Thor?”
Loki nodded, scoffing a little. “My mother thought it would help reinforce our bond as brothers. A lot of good that did.”
You leaned in towards him, your posture mirroring his as you rested your arms against the kitchen counter.
“Thor still loves you.” You said quietly, a small smile touching your lips for a brief moment. Loki rolled his eyes.
“Sure he does.”
“No, really. He wouldn’t have brought you here to live with him if he didn’t. You guys got here before me of course, but I’m sure he had to pull a lot of strings to get Tony to agree to have you live in the Compound.”
There was that silence again, like the day before, settling down gently between the two of you. You lowered your gaze to your hands.
“Sorry. I meddle too much. I should stop.”
This time, it was Loki who placed his hands over yours gently.
“No,” he replied softly. “You speak your mind, I admire that. It shows you have strength.”
“I don’t always feel strong.” You admitted quietly.
“Only the foolish admit their own strength.” Loki whispered.
“...Does that mean Tony’s a fool?”
“Your words, not mine.”
A laugh bubbled up out of you at Loki’s words, and as your eyes met his, you noticed the loneliness you had seen before was gone.
In their place was the warmth of a thousand suns.
The two of you stood there, hands intertwined almost as if to keep the other afloat. Loki’s hands made yours seem small, but his were warm and soft and surprisingly gentle.
You closed you eyes, taking as much of this moment in as you could.
“I wish they’d let you outside.” You sighed quietly. “There’s so many shops and restaurants I think you’d like. You’d love Central Park, too.”
Loki frowned. “When is everyone due back?”
“In two days. Why?”
You got a smirk in response. “Let’s go now.”
You let out a surprised laugh at Loki’s suggestion. It thrilled you to see this side of him.
“We can’t! Tony’s got cameras around the building, he’ll see us if we leave.”
Butterflies filled your insides for a brief moment as Loki suddenly winked at you. He raised his hand, which had begun to glow with a green hue, before snapping his fingers. Green sparks flashed briefly from the windows as he did so.
“I believe Stark will be needing to replace his cameras once everyone returns. Where do you suggest we go first?”
