MHA Headcanons #02
Ochako and Momo
Tumblr media
Personally I would have loved if their motives were explored more in depth. Like why Momo, who is super duper rich, wanted to be a hero in first place?
And Ochako who always thought that it was shallow to be a hero just for money and Momo overhears it and berates her for coming to a hero school.
Think about it! An Ochako who is treated like an outclass by Momo and other rich kids because she comes from a rough background.
Momo especially gives her a hard time, saying that "She (Chako) doesn't belong here." and that causes a rift between them on the very first day.
Instead of making Momo all nice and kind I would have made her mean and judgemental. Plus, she thinks she is better than the rest because she was a recommended student and because of her quirk creation.
Tumblr media
She is best friends with Asui instead of Jirou (because just like Momo, Asui is smart, strong, calm and has an amazing all rounder quirk while Jirou is just a rogue musician who goes along better with Ochako instead)
MHA really made a mistake by making them all nice and good girls who get along well with each other.
There could have been a lot of Jealousy involved between Ochako and Momo, because Ochako is your everyday cherry girl, that gets along with everyone.
Tumblr media
She's friends with Deku, Iida, Jirou, Kaminari, Kirishima and the rest of the class minus Momo and the rich group (momo, Asui, Pony from class 1b)
Also, Momo is good friends with Pony Tsunotori. Ya know, the girl that was properly showcased in season 5? Has Horns and stuff?
She's a transfer student from America and has known Momo for a long time. They're childhood buddies.
But unlike Momo, Pony finds Ochako interesting and funny after season 5.
Momo is also friends with Bakugo whose parents are fashion designers and connected to Momo's family business.
Also, Momo's bg was never explored right? Wtf her parents do? How is she so rich? She has a family business? What kind? Give us a reason Hori.
This is all we have...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Momo's backstory HC: because she comes from such an established household, PERFECTION is expected of her!
So she is jealous of Ochako who gets to do, wear, eat and be with anyone she likes.
Momo's upbringing makes her rude, arrogant, judgemental and she's always giving everyone side eyes.
Ochako on the other hand is more easygoing.
OCHAKO: has a lot of friends and after sports fest, she becomes pretty popular in the entire school but Momo on the other hand, gets a reality check that despite being one of the recommended students she could not even make it to the semi - finals.
And just like in canon Todoroki lifts Momo up. It makes more sense this way.
Plus to rescue Bakugo, Ochako goes along with Momo, Deku and bunch during the Kamino arc and this was their first team up.
And as the story goes, they become better friends by understanding each other.

Miscomuniaction Part 2
Izuku Midoriya x Fem Reader
Summary: After being unexpectedly confronted by Izuku for dream walking, you deny doing so out of fear and a bit of embarrassment. That night, the class hung out to bond and get to know one another a bit better. Later, when you get a private moment with Izuku in your dorm, you confess to your feelings and invasion of privacy. The following day, you go out for breakfast and go to the gym with Izuku. You then get a confronting text from Mina about whether you and Deku are a thing.
Word Count: 2k+

Part 3 is now posted!!
(I didn't expect part 1 to do as well as it did! Made me a bit nervous while writing part 2 but I hope everyone likes it!)

You were taken back, your heart felt like it was going to pound out of your chest. Not only were you nervous because you did exactly what he accused you of but also because you looked like a hot mess. Not in the way Izuku looked though, he looked messy but in a very hot way minus the mess. Part of you was worried that he would be genuinely mad at the invasion of privacy but he was well within his right if so. You could not stop eyeing him up and down but did make eye contact.
“No, um I’ve been studying all night. Never even went to sleep,” you said pointing at your desk that was covered in assignments and textbooks.
“Oh uh- sorry I just had a really vivid. I guess I assumed because your quirk was- you know what, never mind sorry to wake you.
“I was already awake, remember?” you laugh nervously.
“Right well I have to go,” he said walking back to his dorm.
You felt bad for gaslighting him like that, but there was no way you were admitting to dreamwalking. When you got comfortable in bed, you passed out until around 6 p.m. You felt like a bear coming out of hibernation, stretching with a dazed look on your face. After a couple more minutes of rotting in bed, you get up and make yourself look presentable before entering the kitchen. All your peers were either in the common room or surrounding the kitchen island.
“Y|N! I was just about to wake you up, everyone decided we were going to have a game night. Sato is gonna bake some sweets while we decide what to play,” Mena said, locking arms with Momo.
“That sounds so fun, are we starting now?” you asked.
“No, I have to go to the store and pick up a couple of ingredients,” Sato replied.
After most of the boys left for the store, the girls ended up in Momo’s room, all sitting on her enormous bed. Most of you had a make-up bag in front of you, occasionally rummaging through the contents to find that one specific brush. The topic of conversation started out with being irritated about how much they limited make-up use during school hours. Then it turned into how much potential was in the air tonight. Feeling a bit of pressure to look good in front of the boys.
“Isn’t that a little sad, even sexist to make tonight about wanting to be eye candy for the boys? Do you really want to put that much work into yourself for a guy like Kaminari?” Jirou asked.
“Well for me, the weekend is the only time I can do my make-up full out. Like contacts and everything, so I do it for myself. Not to mention if I was dolling myself up for a boy it wouldn’t be for Pikachu,” you said, making a couple of other girls laugh and agree.
“Fair enough, just not my scene I guess,” She replied. The conversation then turned to class crushes, you were thankful you had a foundation. If not, you would have been bright red.
Mina ended up confessing that she and Kirishima shared a kiss in his dorm room while they were studying together. You were pretty shocked by this, I guess you assumed everyone was as preoccupied with school and training as you were. Nobody had anything to top that, other than Mineta’s invitations to study. It was like a domino effect, everyone was spilling their guts about their hidden feelings about certain peers. Most girls like either Todoroki or Bakugo which was to be expected, they were only getting better. When asked if you had a crush you explained that you were trying to focus on school which wasn’t entirely a lie. All the girls then dispersed to get changed into comfy pajamas, including yourself. You changed into a matching set of pjs, a simple black cotton tank top, and matching shorts. It had these cute baby blue-toned elephants printed onto them. You were pretty nervous about hanging out with Izuku after everything that happened. You felt like you were playing with his emotions, were you really about to flirt with him after gaslighting him this morning? Now that you were thinking about this morning, you couldn’t stop admiring how he looked. Like he literally rolled out of his bed and walked over to your door. Normally he was quite reserved with his appearance, he wasn’t the type of guy to tailor his style to show off his physic. I don’t know, you just felt like you saw him so raw and it gave you that weird feeling in your stomach. After throwing on some socks you made your way out into the common area. When everyone was starting to gather, Sato was pulling some type of baked goods out of the oven. You thought about sitting directly next to Izuku but you decided sitting directly across from him would be better. That way you would see his facial expressions or body language. God, you felt like such a weirdo.
Instead of playing a boring game, everyone sat around and talked. At first, many boys gave awkward compliments to the girls on their done-up appearances. Todoroki even asked if you were wearing contacts, and when you said yes he complimented how they looked. You and Izuku made direct eye contact right after which made you feel worse. Even if you weren’t crushing on Izuku, you wouldn’t like Todoroki. You just couldn’t with his monotone voice and dead stare. After that Sato starts talking about how if he weren’t in the hero course, he would love to own a bakery.
“I would do off-the-wall stuff, like trying to combine different combinations of pastries,” he said.
“Maybe once you go pro you can get an endorsement for a pastry company,” Sue said.
“If I weren’t doing this I would probably be a therapist. My quirk is dream walking so I could help people process some of their trauma by seeing exactly what they think about,” you said while taking a sip of your water bottle.
“Wow that’s so pure, I would just want to be a musician,” Jirou said.
The conversation then turned to each other's love interests, it was bound to happen sooner or later. The topic came into conversation when the girls were talking about different musicians they liked. Even the fictional ones like 4-Town from Turning Red which made all of you laugh. When the boys started roasting the girls about their types of men, you guys started asking what they liked about girls. They were saying stereotypical things, like natural makeup, long hair, comfy clothing, and things like that. Jirou pointed out that the only things they listed were physical, she then asked what they actually liked about girls.
“I’m a pretty clingy guy so I like a girl that wants to be with me a lot. Like if she goes to the gym and works out with me and stuff,” Kirishima said.
“Girls who have a really good sense of humor but not in a dark humor kinda way. Just girls who know how to be playful,” Sero said.
“I like girls who can communicate their feelings. It can be fun at first when you’re trying to dig through her emotions at first. It’s just nice when a girl knows when to be vulnerable with her thoughts. It sucks when you can’t see an opportunity due to a miscommunication,” as Izuku said, looking directly at you.
“Alright Deku didn’t know you were a women expert,” Kaminari said which made everyone burst into laughter. You were grateful for this because it took the attention off both of you.
Everyone then started to eat the treats that Sato made, which were incredible. He was blushing as your peers were showering him with compliments. You noticed that Izuku was walking back to his dorm, you threw away a cupcake wrapper and followed him. You caught up to him as he was opening his door. You tapped him on the shoulder, When you turned around he looked tired, his eyes were kind of puffy.
“Can we talk? Do you wanna come to my dorm?” you asked, his face turned a deep red as he shook his yes. You used the elevator to get to your dorm, using your key to let yourself in. You walked in before him and picked a couple of loose clothes that were on the bed, clearing a space for you guys to sit.
“I’m sorry that I wasn’t honest with you this morning. I did look into your dreams last night and I know I shouldn’t have and it was wrong. Trust me I’ve been feeling really guilty. I was just scared it would be awkward if I told you that I like you if you didn’t feel the same way. I know that’s not an excuse. I should have been more upfront,” you said, playing with your fingernail while keeping eye contact, to keep your apology sincere.
“It was such a vivid dream, I kinda figured you were probably lying, but I’m glad you’re telling me now. I think it’s pretty obvious that I like you,” he said.
“I don’t know, I kinda thought you had a thing for Uraraka. Everyone I talk to seems to think you guys both like each other,” you said.
“She’s a really smart and pretty girl but she just lacks a certain maturity. I see her more as a friend,” he said.
“Well, I’m thrilled that I came clean about it. I just want you to know that I am really sorry and I totally respect your privacy,” you said, setting your hand on top of his.
“Don’t sweat it, and speaking of dreams I’m glad I finally know what it looks like in here,” he said looking around.
Your walls were covered in posters, you didn’t use the overhead light. Instead, you had two yellow-toned lamps; one on your desk and the other in one corner of the room. You always kept your swamp cooler at 69, you couldn’t sleep if you got too hot. Your bed was covered in plushies, Izuku even complimented you on your All Might plush.
“Can I take you out tomorrow? We can grab breakfast and then go to the gym after if that sounds good to you,” he offered.
“Yeah, what time should I be ready?” you asked.
“Is 8 am okay?” he asked.
“Yeah I can’t wait,” you said, as you walked him out, you gave him a kiss on the cheek before he left.
As you were washing the makeup off your face, you had an overwhelming sense of relief now that you had come clean. Not to mention you now knew for sure that he liked you and you were going on a date tomorrow morning. It was times like this that you were grateful for doing all your homework at the beginning of the weekend. After Izuku left, you got ready for bed and fell asleep. Your alarm clock is what wakes you up in the morning. It was 7:15 a.m., giving you 45 minutes to get ready. You didn’t need much time because it wasn’t like you were gonna wear makeup to the gym. After changing into some workout clothes, you go on your phone to pass the time. Hearing the knock on the door made your heart pound so hard, that your head began to hurt for just a second. When you were walking down the hall, you couldn’t help but admire his appearance. He looked sleepy in his eyes and his hair was wild. His tee shirt was tight and really showcased the muscle mass in his arms and back. You stopped at a little food stand and bought a couple of things, both of you knew working out on an empty stomach can suck. You stop at a little coffee shop and sit at a booth together while you eat. Making small talk back and forth about different moves they are trying to master and what type of workouts they prefer.
“I’ve been working on my legs a lot lately so I wanted to focus on my arms and core today,” Izuku said.
“I’ve been doing a lot of cardio, Aizawa has been having me do nothing but strength training while I’m in class. So I try not to push myself too hard when I go to the gym,” you said taking a bite of your breakfast sandwich.
“Yeah that makes sense, have you noticed your training helping in your combat,” he asked, taking a sip of his (practically all creamer) coffee.
“Oh yeah, my endurance is so much better. I feel a lot stronger with my attacks and can fight for longer periods without getting winded,” you said.
“I noticed that you’ve been getting really good at that one drop kick you do,” he said, laughing a little.
“You’ve been watching me?” you joke playfully.
“Maybe a little,” he said, which made your stomach flip.
The walk to the gym was quiet; In fact, you didn’t really talk most of the time you were together. Izuku wanted to focus on weights whereas you wanted to use the treadmill for cardio. At first, you thought it would be weird to go to the gym together as a date and then be separated the entire time. However, you realized how attractive he looked while lifting weights after a while. He normally had a charming look on his face but when he was working out he looked so concentrated and almost angry. His face was bright red and his chest was rising and falling so rapidly. He was sweating  As you were taking a break for water you noticed you had a message from Mina that read:
did you and Deku hook up last night? Uraraka just asked me idk what to tell her

Midoriya's First Heat
MHA- Dekubowl (Deku x everyone (but really just Deku x Class 1a minus Mineta cause he got expelled or something idk fuck him)) | SFW Omegaverse
Summary: Midoriya begins pre-heat. It's his first heat. How does that work in the dorm system?
Part of my OmegaDekuBowl series

Thank you so much to @cozysafechaotic for being my beta! Really appreciate it.
btw this is chaptered on my ao3 but here on tumblr im not bothering with chapters anymore for finished fics. one big ol fic for yall.
---
Tired. That was the way to describe Midoriya’s current mental state.
He had no idea why he was so tired. Too much training? Too little sleep?
Maybe it was the fact that he’d cleaned the entire common area and cooked dinner all by himself that afternoon.
His friends had tried to pitch in but he was absolutely adamant about doing everything himself. Why couldn’t they see that he just wanted to take care of them?
After class had let out, he pretty much beelined for the dorms with nothing on his mind except helping his friends. Cleaning, cooking, all of it. Come to think about it, he’d been pretty huggy too.
Well, he just wanted his class to feel good! What was wrong with that?
“You good, Midoriya? You’ve been pretty busy.” Kirishima said to him as he walked past. He had a finished plate of curry in his hands, the dinner Midoriya had made for all of them.
“I’m fine, Kiri, really.” He sighed. Why was everyone asking that?
“Alright. Well, you know you can talk to us, right?”
“I’m fine.” He said, sounding admittedly tired, even to himself.
Even if he did clean and cook all afternoon, he shouldn’t be this tired. He trained day in and day out, why was this exhausting him? He inhaled. The smells of his class filled his mind, easing his tension bit by bit.
He spotted a discarded jacket on the floor near the couch. Without thinking, he quickly picked it up. Why did he do that? Oh, probably laundry. Yeah, it needed cleaning.
He held it up to his face and took a deep breath. It was Kirishima’s.
Alpha.
Warmth filled his core and he smiled.
“Oh, you found my jacket.” Kirishima yelled from the kitchen with a slight waver in his voice.
“Oh, uh, yeah. It was on the floor so it’s probably dirty. I’ll clean it for you. No worries!” Midoriya rushed off before he could hear again how he needed to take it easy.
He rubbed the cotton material in his hands as he rode the elevator up. As he stepped off onto his floor, he found himself entering Tokoyami’s room. He searched the darkened area and found a cloak hanging off the side of the bed. It smelled of him, like ash and a dark roast coffee.
He grabbed it and exited the room, now holding a hoodie and a cloak as he approached Aoyama’s room.
Jirou stepped off the elevator on her floor. She was still worried about Midoriya but she couldn’t find him on his floor. Eventually, she figured she’d just retire to her room and Midoriya would reach out for help if he needed it.
What she didn’t expect was to see Midoriya leaving her room with an armful of clothing.
“Uh, Midoriya? Are you okay?”
“Huh?” Midoriya blinked and looked at her as if escaping from a trance. “Yeah?”
“What’s… with the clothes?”
The greenette looked at the clothes in his arms with a puzzled expression. “Um… laundry?”
“You don’t seem too sure about that.”
“I guess that’s what I’m doing.” He shrugged.
Wait a minute.
Cleaning, cooking, extra touchy, and now he was stealing clothes.
Jirou’s eyes widened. “Midoriya, are you… um,” She winced, not knowing how to phrase it politely. “Are you, uh, nesting… like, in a pre-heat?”
Midoriya furrowed his brow at her, as if what she said was insane. After a moment, his eyes widened to the size of dinner plates. “My heat? Oh crap! Am I gonna have my first heat?”
“Wait, your first? I thought Present Mic said omegas got their first heat in middle school?”
“I-I’m a… late bloomer.” Midoriya flushed and grimaced. “Crap, I’m going into heat. I didn’t even think about this when we moved into the dorms. Am I gonna have my heat here? What am I gonna do?!” Midoriya was hyper-ventalating and shaking.
Jirou focused on pumping out as much soothing beta scent as possible, knowing that her number one goal was calming him down.
It worked, though just a bit, as Midoriya’s breathing slowed and deepened and he stopped trembling.
“Let’s head downstairs, we’ll calm down first, yeah? Plus, everyone will be relieved to know what’s been going on. Didn’t we talk about in class how when someone’s in heat they need to feel safe with people they’re close to? I know we’re not family, but we can try and help?” Jirou held out her hand and Midoriya hesitantly took it. She led the omega to the elevator and the two headed to the commons, Midoriya still holding an armful of clothes.
“Do you want to tell everyone when we get down there?” Jirou asked.
“I don’t know.” Midoriya whimpered and gripped the clothes he had tightly.
“Uh, you don’t have to tell them if you don’t want to. I can probably spin some excuse for you.”
“I…” Midoriya paused. Jirou sent out more beta scent to help calm him and he continued. “I need to go ask Mr. Aizawa what I’m gonna do for my… heat. I’d like… someone to come with me.”
“That’s no problem. Who do you want?”
“What do you think’s been up with Midoriya?” Kirishima asked to the group sat in the living area with him.
“I’m not sure, but it’s definitely odd behavior.” Todoroki answered.
“There’s no way the nerd looks that exhausted just from some cleaning and cooking, something else is up.” Bakugou said, looking as unperturbed as ever, though there was still some worry evident, just barely.
“Perhaps something is wrong with Eri. They’ve been particularly close ever since the School Festival.” Iida offered.
“Nah, Amijiki’s been talking about Mirio and Eri and she’s been totally fine.” Kirishima responded.
The elevator dinged and Jirou and Midoriya entered the commons. Most of the class turned to look and raised an eyebrow at Midoriya’s armful of clothes.
“You, like, on a laundry run or something?” Kaminari asked.
Midoriya ducked his head and flushed.
Some of the class picked up that something was wrong. The omega was letting out distress pheromones and you could see it all over his face, too.
“Are you alright, Midoriya?” Momo asked.
“Do you want me to ask?” Jirou spoke softly to Midoriya so only he could hear. He nodded his head.
“Midoriya needs to go talk to Mr. Aizawa.” She looked to two alphas near the tv. “Bakugou, Iida, you wanna go with him?” She shot them a very intense ‘go, don’t ask questions’ look.
“Of course!” Iida shot up in an instant.
“Tch. Fine.” Bakugou got up, looking reluctant, but Midoriya could tell that he wanted to go.
“Hey, is he okay?” Kaminari asked.
“He’s fine, just chill out.” Jirou shrugged, trying to keep people from prying until Midoriya was ready.
“Thank you.” Midoriya said and handed the clothes in his arms to Jirou so he could begin walking to the door, to which the two alphas singled out followed.
As soon as the three were outside the dorms, Bakugou broke the silence. “Okay, spill, what’s going on?” causing the omega to wince.
“I’m… in pre-heat.”
“What?” The two alphas practically yelled.
“Ah, I assume we are going to Mr. Aizawa to ask about your accommodations during your cycle.” Iida said.
“So that’s why you’ve been acting weird.” Bakugou muttered. The omega nodded with a red face.
“Rest assured that we will do anything to help you through your heat, Midoriya.” Iida announced whilst chopping the air.
That brought at least a little comfort to the omega’s nerves as they made their way to Mr. Aizawa’s office.
Aizawa was grading Kaminari’s paper, making a variety of marks as the door opened. He looked up from the homework and raised an eyebrow at Iida and the two problem children.
“What is it?”
“Could you… wait outside?” Midoriya asked quietly to the two other students.
“Of course.”
“Yeah, whatever.”
The door closed and Aizawa was alone with a very nervous Izuku Midoriya. This had his attention.
“Why are you here?”
“So, I know we’re at the dorms because of the league and all, but… what do I do for my… heat? Do I have to have it here?” He asked, voice high and face aflame.
Aizawa blinked. That wasn’t anywhere near what he was expecting.
“You all were actually just about to have a class about this kind of thing tomorrow.” The teacher put the papers inside his desk and gave his full attention to his student. “It isn’t safe to send any of you home, so one of the new buildings constructed is what’s known as a Cycle Home. Do you know what that is?”
Midoriya shook his head.
“A Cycle Home is a building with heat rooms and rut rooms. As you can imagine, these are facilities for taking care of alpha and omegas in heats or ruts. They’re staffed by Cycle Specialists trained to help people through their cycles. UA has specifically hired Cycle Specialists for youths and we have A/B/O support on staff. Think counselors, but specifically for problems relating to secondary gender.”
“So… I stay in a heat room?”
“Pretty much. You’ll be escorted to the heat room and spend the duration of your cycle there under 24 hour supervision. You’ll have a laptop with internet access to attend classes and be provided food, water, medication, nesting materials, and a heat collar.”
“When do I go?”
“How long do your pre-heats usually last?”
Midoriya winced and went silent. After a moment, Aizawa sighed.
“If this is your first heat, then I’d say you should go right away. We’ll contact your family and let them know. If you’d like anything from home we can call and have it brought here. For now, you should go pack what you want with you in the heat room. If you want, a teacher can escort you, or you could have some of your classmates go with you.”
“I’ll have my friends come with me.” Midoriya bowed his head. “Thank you, Mr. Aizawa.”
“If you have any concerns about your heat or secondary gender, there are people in the heat rooms who will help you. Now go pack.”
“Yes, sir.” Midoriya left the room with a very tired Aizawa and explained the basis of what they discussed to the two alphas waiting outside.
“You’re going to be in the heat rooms? Are you sure you wouldn’t rather stay with us in the dorms?” Iida asked as they began their walk back to Heights Alliance.
“I think it’s for the best. I’d be safer there, anyway.”
“Safer? Like anyone could keep you safer than I could. I’d kill anyone who tried to even get close to you.” Bakugou scoffed.
Midoriya felt his inner omega positively sing at that.
Alpha will keep us safe in heat. Alpha will protect us. Alpha wants us safe.
“Really?” He couldn’t keep himself from asking.
“Hah? You doubting my ability to keep you safe?”
“N-No, not at all, Kacchan!”
“So, will you be staying in the dorms with us after all?” Iida’s voice had a lilt of hopefulness to it.
The omega thought it over for a second or two. “No. This is my first. I don’t know what might go wrong. It’s best if there are professionals around in case something happens.”
“I understand. And I applaud you for taking your health so seriously.”
“Tch. Whatever, nerd.”
Midoriya ran through his packing checklist one more time in his head as he rode the elevator down.
Blankets, a pillow, my favorite All Might plush, laptop, clothes, underwear, toiletries, anything else?
His backpack was full to the brim with things for the heat room, causing him to wonder if he overpacked.
Once the elevator doors opened and his entire class seemed to be waiting in the commons for him. He had texted Jirou earlier that it was okay to tell the class since he had to leave for a week or two and that they should probably know why.
Turns out they were all quite concerned for him.
“Aw, Mido, you were being so sweet taking care of us, and now you’re leaving? Not fair!” Mina charged into him with a hug, almost toppling the two of them over.
“We would be happy to take care of you here, if that’s what you want.” Todoroki offered.
They really want me to stay, huh?
“Thanks, guys, but I’ve made up my mind.”
“That’s okay, Midoriya. We hope you feel better.” Tsu said.
“Yeah, for sure.”
“We wish you the best!”
“Au Revoir~”
Midoriya smiled and nodded.
“Forget it. Me and Glasses are taking him and that’s final.” Bakugou growled.
Midoriya looked over to see Bakugou baring his teeth at Todoroki and Tokoyami.
“I think it’d be a good idea for me to join you in escorting Midoriya to the Cycle Home.” The bi-colored alpha said.
“As if. The nerd chose me, got it?”
“Dark Shadow and I wish to join as well.”
“What part of ‘he chose us’ don’t you idiots get, huh?”
Midoriya walked between them. “All four of you can take me if you stop fighting.”
That shut them up. With a few grunts or nods of approval, the five of them set out for the other side of campus. Midoriya, Bakugou, Iida, Tokoyami, and Todoroki. Four alphas and one omega.
When they arrived, Midoriya felt like he was sweating through his jacket. All the anxieties were building up and now he was there, about to spend over a week without any of his friends or family in one of the most vulnerable points in his life.
“Are you feeling alright, Midoriya?” Todoroki asked softly.
“‘Course he’s not, you idiot.” Bakugou barked, ever the calm one.
They entered the building which had a similar look to Heights Alliance, not surprising, as they were built around the same time. There was a front desk with a friendly looking woman wearing pink glasses and a headband.
“Hi there, Izuku Midoriya?”
“Um, yes ma’am.”
“Alright, let me just sign you in. I just need to ask you a few questions about your cycle.”
“Oh, uh, right.” Midoriya nervously approached the desk.
“Have you started yet or are you in pre-heat?”
“Um, pre-heat.”
“This is your first, correct?”
“Yeah.”
“Do you have any medical conditions that we should be aware of?”
“No.”
“What is your pack status?”
“No pack.”
“Alright, that should do it. Allow me to show you to your heat room.” She stood and gestured for Midoriya to follow her. He turned to his friends first and bowed his head.
“Thank you for escorting me here. I’ll see you after this all blows over.”
“Of course we’d help. We are your class after all!” Iida proudly announced.
“Yeah, whatever. Don’t slack off. When you come back we’re going at it, 100%!” Bakugou scoffed and walked out of the building, followed by the other three alphas with various goodbyes.
Midoriya’s expression softened and he turned back to the woman to be led to his room.
The heat room was sort of similar to a hospital room in size. It had a large mattress on the floor with a closet, desk, and window. In the open closet was a large selection of blankets of various colors and sizes, most likely nesting materials.
“This is where you’ll be staying, feel free to make yourself at home. You’ll have three meals delivered to your room and two snacks a day. The bathroom is down the hall with showers as well. As you’re the only omega checked in at the moment, you have it all to yourself. A Cycle Specialist will be assigned to you to keep track of your progress, temperature, and water intake. We’ve received a delivery of a few blankets and pillows from your home which will be moved here momentarily.”
Modiriya nodded and began unpacking his things as the woman left him to his own devices. He plugged in his laptop and set it on the desk. He stored his clothes in the closet. He poured out all the nesting materials he had packed for himself onto the bed and put his bag of toiletries on the edge of his desk closer to the door for when he got ready for bed that night.
He stared at the room with a feeling of emptiness. What now? He had finished his homework and he couldn’t train now that he was in the heat room.
Usually he’d hang out with some of his friends. Talk with Iida and Uraraka, play some videogames with Kaminari and Sero, train with Bakugou, Kirishima, and Todoroki…
He could make a nest. That’s what he was doing earlier, wasn’t it?
Midoriya grabbed some of the blankets from the closet. They were nesting blankets specifically, long, oddly-shaped, and extra soft. He smiled as he carded his fingers through the fibers. He brought them to his face and smelled…
Detergent. A nameless detergent that meant nothing to him.
Earlier, the clothes from his class… his friends, it smelled so nice. Warm, comforting, safe.
But these…
Well, he’d take what he could get.
As he was setting up the base for his nest, there was a knock. He told them to come in and it was the lady from before with a big box.
“Your mother sent you these from home. If you need anything, just let us know, your attendant will be here shortly to do a quick check-up.” She said before closing  the door and leaving.
Finally, nesting materials that smelled safe.
Midoriya practically tore through the box. Most of them were old blankets that were his, but a few were his moms, smelling like chai tea and fresh dough.
And so, he got to work.
It was three AM. Midoriya could barely sleep. He felt anxious. He felt tired. Most of all, he felt alone. He had worked on his nest for hours but it just felt empty. He could smell his mom and his old home, but not his current home. Not any of his friends. Not Iida. Not Uraraka. Not Todoroki. Not Kacchan.
Now that he was aware he was going into heat, he could feel it. This unending tension and clinging exhaustion that wouldn’t let go. If everything he learned in class was right, he should be going into heat within the next day.
He couldn’t help but remember the clothes he had collected earlier. Kirishima’s jacket, Tokoyami’s cloak, Jirou’s hoodie, Aoyama’s shirt, Hagakure’s tank top… they all smelled so secure and reassuring. Throughout everything he and his class had been through together, their scents were a source of calm to him.
He wanted so badly to go collect nesting materials but he was stuck there now until his heat ended.
Midoriya pulled out his phone and opened the class group chat.
‘Midoriya: Hey guys. Do you think some of you would be willing to bring some nesting materials by the heat rooms at some point? Like shirts and blankets and stuff. Don’t feel like you have to though. It’s not super important’
He added the last part, unsure about how the request would make his class feel. An omega taking items for nesting was usually only for people they were close with and/or pack mates. He didn’t want to overstep anyone’s boundaries or sound like he was demanding their things for himself. Though, it couldn’t hurt to ask, right?
He put down his phone and tried to get some sleep before class tomorrow, which he’d be attending virtually.
The omega woke up to his phone alarm and an all-over body ache. He winced and groaned as he sat up and stretched.
Oh, right. Heat pain.
His usual morning routine went off decently well, a shower, teeth-brushing, taming his messy green lockes with a hairbrush, the usual. As he was just making sure his laptop was ready for the class, a Cycle Specialist knocked and entered.
He was a taller dark-skinned man with patches of gray scales on his face holding a clipboard and a satchel hanging off his shoulder. “Greetings, Midoriya. I’m your nurse, Mr. Higashi, I’ll be checking your vitals this morning and Nonaka will be here with your breakfast soon. If you could just sit at your desk, I’ll take your blood pressure and temperature.”
Midoriya sat and furrowed his brow as the nurse entered. He was careful not to stray too close to the nest, as entering an omega’s nest without being invited was generally a bad idea. “Is all this really necessary?”
“Technically, no. But, as you’re a hero student having his first heat under the care of UA, the staff want to make sure there’s no negative reaction by the body or that you may have some condition about your secondary gender that might affect your hero work.” Mr. Higashi said as he wrapped Midoriya’s arm in the cuff and took his blood pressure.
“Besides, between you and me, they’re mostly covering their butts. See, if a student has a bad heat experience under their care, you or your family could sue.” The doctor laughed. “And they can’t send you home because of all the villain attacks. So they gotta give you the best, or else they’re in trouble.”
That got a small chuckle out of him.
“Alright, your heart rate and blood pressure look good. Let’s take your temp.” The nurse scanned a thermometer over his forehead and hummed at the reading. “A little warm there. I’m guessing you’ll be starting your heat within the next 20 hours or so.” He quickly put his medical instruments in a small bag and picked up his clipboard. “I’ll go fetch Nonaka for you, be back in sec.” The nurse offered a cheerful smile and left.
Higashi walked down the hall and to the front of the building, looking for Nonaka when he saw a small crowd of students at the front holding a massive amount of clothing and blankets.
“Excuse me, may I help you?”
“We’re here to see Izuku Midoriya.” The taller one with glasses and dark blue hair spoke loudly with an air of authority.
Higashi looked down at his clipboard with Midoriya’s paperwork and scanned the top information section. Just as he thought. “Izuku Midoriya is not in a pack. Only immediate family and pack members are allowed to visit the omegas.”
“What? That’s ridiculous!” A shorter brown-haired girl said with a pout.
“We were asked to bring him some nesting materials. May we leave them for him?” One of the alphas of the group, the one with red and white hair, asked calmly.
“I’ll take them for now, go ahead and leave them on the front desk. If Midoriya says yes, then I’ll allow it.”
“Why the Hell wouldn’t he say yes when he’s the one who asked us to come here?” One of them, the winner of the Sports Festival, practically snarled in his face, as two others from the group put all the nesting materials on the desk as asked.
“Believe it or not, there are some people who will try and force nesting materials on omega’s in an effort to get them used to their scent so they may take advantage of them.”
A few in the group recoiled in disgust, while a couple others seemed offended at the implication.
“I’m not saying you guys are definitely doing that, it’s just something we have to be aware of. Midoriya’s still mentally in a place where he can accept and reject things, so I’ll talk with him about it.”
“Sorry, what did I miss?” Nonaka walked in at that moment, having probably gone to use the bathroom.
“Just some friends offering nesting materials, Nona, go ahead and grab Midoriya’s breakfast, I’ll take care of this.”
Nonaka nodded her head and left. Higashi looked back at the group.
“Thank you for the offerings for your friend. We’ll take it from here.”
“Of course. We thank you for your time.” Glasses bowed and corralled everyone out the door.
Higashi smiled at all the offerings piled on the front desk now. “Nice kids.”
“Midoriya?”
“Come in.” Midoriya said from his desk.
The lady from earlier with pink glasses, Nonaka, entered with a warm tray of food. “Breakfast. Lunch Rush makes all the food for the Cycle Home, so lucky you. I love his cooking.” She set the tray down on the desk and placed some chopsticks beside them.
“Thank you.” Midoriya quickly grabbed the tray and began eating his grilled fish, suddenly feeling extremely hungry.
“Also, did you ask for some nesting materials from your friends? A group of students came by with clothing and blankets for you.”
“Mm-hmm!” Midoriya hummed and nodded in between bites of food.
“Alright then.” Nonaka stepped out of the room and Midoriya heard a strained sound from outside. He looked to see Higashi bringing in an absolute mountain of nesting materials.
Midoriya inhaled in surprise and a bit of rice flew into his throat, causing him to cough and hack it up. As soon as he caught his breath Higashi stepped out and brought another mass of items.
“They brought all that for me?”
The two attendees laughed. “Yep. You’ve got a good group of friends there.” Higashi said.
“We’ll leave you to it. I’m sure you’re gonna wanna work on that nest now, huh?” Nonaka said, smiling at Midoriya’s vigorous nodding. She chuckled and the two left the room.
Midoriya was on cloud nine as the scents from all his friends filled his nose and head. Forget food, he was on the floor sorting out items in an instant, trying to figure out how each color and each scent would fit together in his perfect first nest.
There was so much material to work with, layers upon layers of cloth and cushion, Midoriya was in heaven.
He spent the next twenty minutes carefully placing each item in its exact spot within the nest. Just as he was making the important decision of where the alpha scents went, the alarm on his phone went off, alerting him that class was starting very soon. He reluctantly got up from his nest and went to his desk to start class.
The heat was really setting in.
It had been 3 days. He had made the perfect nest and for a moment he thought this might not be so bad.
Well, those anxieties he felt earlier about his first heat were not misplaced.
He hurt, and not a little either. One thing you could not say about Izuku Midoriya is that he had no pain tolerance. That was the opposite of the truth. He’d shattered his bones over and over again and kept fighting.
But this wasn’t like that. It was an ache. It was a throbbing burning ache in his core that spread across his body, and he had a headache to match.
And the actual heat part… Midoriya had fought Todoroki before, he’d been burnt by fire, this was worse.
At least in a fight he had adrenaline coursing through him that kept his mind from focusing on any pain or discomfort, but just sitting there in his nest, he could feel every inch of fire on his skin.
Heats weren’t normally like this, at least, not for adults, but as he had heard about in health class, heats and ruts when you’re young are irregular and abnormal and can easily be debilitating.
Lucky him.
On top of it all, all of his senses were cranked up to a hundred. Increased sensitivity, another effect of heats. Things were bright, pain was more intense, tastes were stronger, sounds were louder.
Thankfully, since the staff are trained for this sort of thing, they easily communicate and move around without making too much sound. And the food was already pretty bland, probably for this exact reason, so he could still eat pretty easily.
He laid in the fetal position in his nest, all clothes except boxers discarded, and fan on full blast. Classes were over for the day, so he didn’t have to keep trying to focus with his muted thoughts and fuzzy vision.
There was a knock and the door creaked open.
“Hey, Midoriya. I need to get your vitals real quick and then we’ll get dinner right out for you.”
Midoriya whined out something hoarsely and slowly sat up, holding out his arm for the blood pressure cuff.
Higashi gently took a seat beside him and set up the cuff. “At this rate, your peak heat should happen sometime between tonight and this time tomorrow. After that it’ll start to feel better.” He spoke softly as he took measurements. Midoriya was wincing at the cuff squeezing his arm, feeling everything so much more during this period.
The omega reached for his All Might plushie and held it close, needing something to squeeze. Higashi smiled but didn’t comment. He just scanned his forehead with the thermometer and hummed at the results.
“Did you finish your water from earlier?” He asked.
“Yeah.” Midoriya practically whispered as he handed him the empty bottle.
“Alright, let me get you a refill.” He took the bottle and left, allowing Midoriya to dramatically flop back down with a deep sigh.
The worst part of all of this was that throughout it all… he could only think about how much he wanted to be back at the dorms with his friends. He wanted them there. He wanted to nest there and bring them in, invite them in, and cuddle with them together. He cared about each of them so much. Their scents were great, and just about the only thing keeping him sane, but what he wouldn’t give for them there in person…
For now, all he could do was eat and guzzle water like his life depended on it.
“Alpha…” Midoriya whined and whimpered. His peak heat was here. His eyes were glazed over and he couldn’t move his body much. His thoughts were muddled… but there was still something on his mind. “Alphas… where?”
Higashi scribbled a few things down from his seat at the desk. He was required to keep ten minutes of watch over Midoriya every hour to make sure nothing alarming happened. He seemed physically fine, but Higashi was starting to think he did have a pack. Well, not yet, but he seemed very attached to a group of alphas, most likely those kids from earlier, and he wouldn’t doubt if he’d bonded to the betas too.
“You’re alright, Midoriya. Do you want more water?”
“Alphas… Kacchan. Want Kacchan.”
“Kacchan isn’t here. Do you want an ice pack?”
Midoriya curled up and whined pitifully.
“I’ll get you an ice pack in a minute, okay?”
Midoriya didn’t respond. Honestly, Higashi was surprised he had already responded as much as he did during his first peak heat.
The omega was clearly quite close to his friends. He wouldn’t be surprised if the next time he saw Midoriya he had formed a pack with them. A pack formed at a younger age came with some unique problems, but it wasn’t inherently doomed to fail. He’s seen many young packs who stayed together and made each other stronger, just what heroes in training could use.
Higashi wrote down a note to recommend A/B/O support to Midoriya. A counselor in secondary gender and pack dynamics could help him navigate a possible pack, or at least his relationship with these alphas. This ‘Kacchan’ in particular seemed to mean a lot to him.
He’d bring it up to him once he came out of his heat.
...
Midoriya quickly shoved his laptop and charger into his bag. He was finally getting out of this place!
His heat ended up lasting 8 days, 8 days too long if you ask Midoriya. He was thrilled to get back to his friends and classes and he was already mulling over which muscle groups to work out and which type of combat training would be best to jump back into after his break.
He had to request a box to store all the nesting materials his class had brought him. Extra care was taken to neatly fold them so they wouldn’t be so crumpled or wrinkly when he returned them.
It felt awful to have to take apart his nest that he worked so hard on, but if it meant leaving sooner, then he was all for it.
“Hi, Midoriya, may I come in?” Came Nonaka’s voice.
“Come in.”
“We’re almost ready for your checkout,” Nonaka said as she entered the room. “However, you’ve still got some lingering heat scent so you’ll be required to wear a heat collar on school grounds. Do you have one? If not, we have one you can take with you.”
The greenette blinked in surprise. “Uh, no, I don’t have a heat collar.”
“That’s alright.” She fished around in her pocket for a moment before pulling out a plain black collar wrapped in plastic. “Here you go. Let me just finish your check-out and you’ll be all good to go.” She waved and exited his room.
Midriya took the collar in his hand and fumbled with the plastic before sliding it off.
The collar was a thick fabric with two long strips of foam, meant to go over the scent glands, and a thin plastic buckle at the back. It was black and plain, as one should expect from something given out by medical staff. He rubbed his thumbs over the foam. It was soft yet firm, comfortable but still able to soak up the scent. It slid over his neck and snapped in the back with a small click.
Midoriya adjusted the collar a bit, trying to center it over his glands in just the right way before finally letting go with a satisfied smile.
With his bag zipped shut, and the heat room left just as it was found, the omega eagerly left the room and beelined for the lobby. 8am! There was still enough time to take his stuff back to his dorm and make his first class in person.
As he entered the lobby, he saw some familiar faces.
Was that… his entire class?
“Deku, you’re out!” Uraraka called and waved her hand in the air excitedly.
It’s true. His entire class was there. All 18 of them!
He couldn’t help it. After over a week of being alone in heat he ran up the group, not an ounce of hesitation, and practically tackled Bakugou in a hug.
Alpha. The words resided in his mind as he clutched onto Bakugou like his life depended on it.
“What the fuck? Deku?” Bakugou yelled, but didn’t push him away.
“Alpha.” This time he said it aloud in a satisfied sigh.
Though Midoriya couldn’t see it, as his face was buried in Bakugou’s chest, the alpha’s cheeks flared red and his eyes went wide.
“Midoriya, are you quite alright?” Iida asked, putting a hand on the omega’s shoulder, not paying attention to the death glare now upon him from Bakugou.
Midoriya pulled away with a smile like the sun. “Yeah. I just missed you guys.”
“We missed you too!” Mina, Uraraka, Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari all shouted at once.
There was a laugh from the desk. “Izuku Midoriya, you’re all checked out. You’ve still got class, but afterwards I’m sure your friends will be happy to keep you company. And be sure to come back if you have any other concerns.”
“I will.” Midoriya waved.
“Oh, and don’t forget the nesting materials your friends were so nice to have brought you.” Higashi said and he entered with the box of clothes and blankets.
“I got it!” Kirishima ran to the nurse and grabbed the box before heading back to the group.
“Alright, we have enough time to take Midoriya’s items to his dorm room and then go straight to class.” Iida announced and waved them all out of the building.
Midoriya practically skipped out of the building with Bakugou’s hand in his right and Iida’s in his left.
“So what was it like in there, Mido?” Mina asked.
“Boring.” He answered honestly. “I really miss classes in person, training, and just hanging out in the dorms with all of you.”
“Aww, we were missing you too. It’s just not the same without both the problem kids.” Mina snickered, expecting some retaliation from Bakugou, but instead the alpha in question was oddly quiet, staring at Midoriya like some kind of alien.
“I got an idea! Let’s run back to the dorms. Bet you’re ready to stretch those legs, huh, Midoriya?” Kaminari waved and began running.
Midoriya chuckled. “You’re right, I do need a run.” He let go off the alpha’s hands and began jogging down the pavement, oblivious to the effect it had on the two alphas. Within seconds, the entire class was running across campus which turned to a race. Midoriya had One For All Full Cowling active as he dashed over the cement and grass. With the wind and sun on his face and class beside him, he finally felt truly happy for the first time in over a week.

Random Discourse about Sakura and women:
Anime community especially MEN is wack pls I’m begging y’all just say u hate women and MOVE ON it’s getting EMBARRASSING how blatant misogyny is showing or just watch the BARBIE 2023 movie (aka feminism/the patriarchy broken down in the simplest terms possible) 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️‼️‼️
I’m an adult woman and have broken down my internalized misogyny that plagued me as a child in the anime community aka I got over the whole “Sakura is useless” thing which was lowkey funny 10 years ago but is NOW very much giving off hating women vibes.
Like as an adult I can wholeheartedly say that I do not expect men to be able to write female characters properly. Hence as a baseline all female characters r automatically considered “cool” until they prove otherwise bc ik for a fact that their faults r due to the author. Especially in anime where we’ve seen over and over again how female characters lack where their male counterparts prosper. (I’m an anthropology student and I very much want to write a dissertation on sexual repression/misogyny in Japanese culture bc I recently visited and YIKES but that’s irrelevant rn lol).
It’s very much disappointed but not surprised and I will say that in the Shounen category it’s gotten a lot better (such as chainsaw man✨chefs kiss✨ or JJK) where female characters are just like the protagonist aka normal ppl without the whole tsundere archetype that’s automatically assigned to female characters (I cannot help but think that archetype was created by men’s lack of comprehension of women eventually turning into comedic violence. Which in a meta viewpoint means that women have to be physically strong/inhibit violence in order to be a “strong” character/stand beside their male counterpart. Which is just untrue and annoying god I hate that archetype). There’s definitely been an improvement of women just being goofy and unhinged and I love that (once again Power), and I can’t help but think that Naruto was probably a big influence in that.
Say what u will about the series but Naruto was definitely a pioneer/classic archetypes for modern shounen. My babygirl Sasuke is the OG angsty-dark haired boy in a trio ft the MC and main girl, the traumatized aloof teacher, tournament arcs, etc. Part of that influence is also learning from the mistakes of the series, specifically the most prominent female character aka learning to write women from Kishimoto’s mistakes.
Idk I feel like it’s just so hard to be a woman and watch anime only bc the female characters are so lacking most of the time. Once again there have been improvements but it feels like we’re doing a “congrats u’ve done the bare minimum” or there’s themes of feminism/foreshadowing development but that’s basically dropped. For example: BNHA all the girls in 1-A have the exact same personality (minus Jirou). They’re all cheerful, bubbly, nice and it’s not bad it’s just fucking BORING like it would’ve been a lot more entertaining to have a somewhat female Bakugo or even Mirko-like personality in the class. Or ooooh give me a misunderstood MEAN GIRL (Ao No Flag QUEEN MAMI I LOVE HER SO MUCH‼️😩😩). In BNHA in the beginning there was definitely the theme of treatment of female heroes that was gonna be set up but dropped. Ex: Momo being sexualized (another discourse), Bakugo vs Uraraka and how Bakugo was being booed for not holding back on a girl, etc….
“Sakura is useless” = “blank is a better love story than Twilight” in my head….truly just say u hate teenage girls/ANY activity girls enjoy (I will never forgive ppl for making fun of girls for buying hydro flasks) and move on the conversation is tiring and BORING. Aka I love Twilight UNIRONICALLY and ironically like 7th grade me was a die hard STAN and I love that about myself which made living thru the active 2012 twilight era painful. Even my king Robert Pattinson said hating twilight isn’t cool anymore 🫡🫡🫡
Flashfoward I think I’m more than qualified to say that to ME Sakura is just okay. I will argue there’s only 4 well written female characters in Naruto (TSUNADE, KONAN, Karin and Kushina). Like even if I wasn’t a diehard SNS shipper I feel like overall she’s just aight, once again I’m kinda just neutral on her bc she’s just kinda there up until that ridiculous war arc that I semi refuse to believe exists. I have OPINIONS on the whole “new age Sannin/Team 7 dynamic” that everyone loves but feels like lazy writing.
Not saying anything to fanfic writers or Sakura Stans bc y’all do u, but I feel like it says a lot in a sad way how Sakura is shipped with every single male character in the series or how in fanfic she’s given Mokutan or part of a clan (which admittedly is very fun to think about). I can’t help but feel that she’s such a blank slate that u really CAN ship her with every character and it would somehow work. For example: could you do that to someone like Sasuke? I mean if ur a talented enough writer than SLAY but for the most part Sasuke has such a defined personality and VALUES that it’s HARD. Or Sakura is born into a clan and given a cool jutsu (which kinda disregards the point of her character: being one of the only Civilian born kids/normal person in her whole class thrown into the terrible and cruel world of Naruto and having to actually work to even SURVIVE not to mention trying to “catch up” to an Uchiha and the 9 tails). Once again fanfic writers you do you I’ll eat that shit up no cap LOL
This post was originally a crack post but turned into a discourse of women in anime LMAOO anyways here’s the actual post:
I am CONVINCED every fandom has a self insert character like for Naruto it’s SAKURA bc the way she’s shipped with EVERY character is so funny (where do y’all come up with MADARA AND SAKURA LIKE WHAT SHSJSKKSKKSK)
Like omg in Game of Thrones it’s totallyyyy JON or Sansa (which kinda makes me sad bc they’re both super unhinged in the books esp Jon mans is basically the teenage manager of the worst McDonald’s in Alaska like his POVs r sooo funny and melodramatic)
In Tokyo Rev it’s Takemichi bc how is he a cannon folder in his own anime 😭😭😭 or maybe it’s bc everyone is horny that they gotta be Takemichi to get with one of the boys in fanfic LOLL😵‍💫😵‍💫

What characters do you headcanon as lesbians? Not just for Encanto, but all your fandoms!
I'm glad you asked me, friend!
Hmm...let's see...there's Isabela and Luisa in this fandom, we all know that already.
But besides them, my favorite lesbian headcanon would have to be Ty Lee from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Each of her interactions with boys just screams comphet, especially the nameless bums on the beach! And she has much better chemistry with Azula and Mai, and--look, regardless of what you think of either the Tyzula or Mailee ship(I am okay with both), you gotta admit that Ty Lee having feelings for either of the two ladies is infinitely more believable than her having feelings for a boy. Especially since she reminds me very strongly of myself: we are both bubbly, girly, pink-loving, and friendly with people we are close to, and often dismissed and not taken seriously, yet tougher and cleverer than we look. Her interactions with both genders reminds me of my own struggle with comphet and grapple to come to terms with my lesbian identity, it all reads as incredibly lesbian to me, to the point where I feel uncomfortable(if not personally attacked) when I see her in m/f ships. And with how widespread femme erasure is, Ty Lee being a proud femme lesbian would be awesome rep to have! but the show's over so 😥 but oh well, I can still have it as a hc, it gives me comfort all the same!
From the same fandom is Azula. For much of the same reasons as Ty Lee, except her comphet would be even stronger. but once she gets over it and undergoes a redemption arc I can see her and Ty Lee being an incredibly loving power couple together lol.
Anyway, I also hc Misa Amane as a lesbian, a hc which is only strengthened by this post.
I also hc Sonia Nevermind and Chiaki Nanami from Danganronpa as lesbians bc I ship them and they're way too pretty and femme to get with boys hahahahhahahha~!
Also, Queen Elsa, obvi!
Also from Disney, Charlotte la Bouff definitely had a thing for Tiana and only thought she wanted the prince because it's a "required" part of the fairytale dream and I will not be convinced otherwise. In the sequel it will turn out that Naveen has a pretty sister or female cousin whom Charlotte will marry so that she and Tiana can be sisters/cousins-in-law and both have their princess dreams!!!
And for live-action movies there's Regina George from Mean Girls(this one doesn't even need explaining, it's literally the same as miss pyromaniac princess above but without the abusive dad lol), Jennifer Check from Jennifer's Body.
All the Vocaloid girls minus a select few are lesbians because I say so.
Also from the mha fandom: Mina/Jirou/Tsuyu are a poly lesbian couple, perhaps a qpr since Mina is canonically cupioromantic and I'd hate to take that away from her.
And finally, Annabeth Chase.
I think that's it for now, I def have more that I can't remember bc it's too much to add here lol. Maybe I'll put them in another post for my lesbian/sapphic ships in general.
Anyway thanks for asking because I love to ramble about my lesbian ships/hcs/stories and ideas! Take care!

Hiya! Your bird AU has had me thinking a bit. I feel like Oboro might be a Blue Jay or a common Blue bird. Nemuri reminds me of a Purple Honeycreeper while Aizawa reminds me of a Black Pheobe. anyways thats just my kinda take/interpretation of what birds they could be. I love you're art and AU dude, keep up the great work!
i don't remember what her reasoning for it was but my friend said Oboro is a Crane i'll have to ask her why that was the case cause my memory is that of a fish, she made Aizawa a Raven, that's basic i know but we love the sheen that have, i've seen ravens up close before in parking lots ALSO RAVENS ARE ANOTHER ONE OF THE SMARTEST BIRDS so theres that too
Midnight i decided was a bug because i tried to hold the rule i wanted class A to be bird (minus Jirou) but that didn't apply to teachers so Midnight originally was a white witch moth but i wanted her to be a Luna moth cause their wings are pretty, when i think of Midnight and her quirk i think of bug wings flapping and dust coming off of it putting people to sleep

I've seen a lot of people say the Donbros section of the new movie "spits on episode 50" or "has everyone out of character". How do you feel about these takes? because I fundamentally disagree with it.
If ppl don't like the movie that's fine, that's all a personal choice. Just don't engage with them and respect that that's their opinion. Focus on saying good things about stuff you like instead of dunking on those people for simply feeling how they feel about it.
I have some things I think could have been better (like the fact they didn't really cross over much at all?), but other than that I cried like 8 times last night because of this movie so I think I can safely say I liked it.
I view a lot of the donbros portion as an interesting commentary on balance within the team and how others plus and minus one another. Tarou completes the team and needs to be there to remind the core 4 members what's important, but when Tarou is back then Jirou has no purpose. He becomes unbalanced and starts showing those same old jealous streaks that he had with Tiger!Jirou. He's got nothing if he isn't the leader! That's why Tarou had to leave! But when Jirou is the leader....he simply isn't what the others need. He's a great leader in theory! But he isn't the man that changed everyone. Sonoi has left to find his happiness outside of that, and the others also soon follow in wanting to leave. There's none of the joy or freedom that they originally felt when working alongside Tarou.
Linking this post because it's an excellent dissection of the donbros portion of the movie and I agree with a lot of it!

Summary: “𝘐'𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐'𝘮,”
“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘶𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘦'𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.”
The door opens, and he’s surprised to see that he wasn’t the only one who looked tired. Kaminari looks surprised to see Hitoshi, but doesn’t comment, he puts on a smile and leans on the doorframe. “To what do I owe the honor of this visit, neighbor?”
“You look like shit.” The words came out before he could process them.
Kaminari looks surprised at first, and Hitoshi slaps a hand over his mouth before the other begins to laugh. “Thanks. I took inspiration from you.”
“Your bags look bigger than mine.”
“𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦,”
“𝘈𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦.”
Hitoshi was having a hard time keeping his eyes open throughout class, the heel of his hand dug into his cheek in an attempt to keep his head up, though that was only doing so much to keep him up and focused on what Cementoss was teaching them on the whiteboard.
He was no stranger to exhaustion, he is an insomniac through and through, ‘has been for a long time and may very well remain that way for the rest of his life.
Hitoshi expected the lack of sleep during the first few nights, with it being a new environment and knowing that it wasn’t just his family living with him (minus Eri and Hizashi, who were staying at their on-campus apartment), it came as no surprise that he was kept awake with a familiar pit of anxiety in his stomach during the first week of staying at the dorms full time.
However, anxiety and insomnia alone were no longer the reason for his worsened sleep schedule. No.
“Psst,” He hears a whisper to his right, but he chooses to ignore it at first. He almost jumps up when he feels something hit him, and it forces him to open his eyes again. Annoyed, he looks to his right to see Kaminari looking at him, brows furrowed. “You good?” He whispers, and Hitoshi bites back a scoff.
Because the reason why he has been lying awake in his dorm these past few nights has the audacity to ask him if he was alright while he was clearly falling asleep in class.
Sarcastically, Hitoshi gives him a thumbs up, looking down at his desk to see that Kaminari had thrown a balled up piece of paper at him. The purple-haired boy looks up, noting that Cementoss wasn’t paying attention to the class and was facing the whiteboard as he spoke about their lesson.
It has been almost two weeks since Hitoshi joined Class 1-A, almost two weeks since he started staying in the dorms with the rest of his classmates. And Hitoshi was quick to understand that Kaminari was nothing if not stubborn. The blond has been attempting to hold a conversation with him every chance he got, from jokes that made no sense to him, to various topics such as homework or what he was having for dinner. He was set on befriending Hitoshi if it’s the last thing he does.
And normally, Hitoshi could block out that nonsense easily, after all, he’s done it with every school, classroom and classmate since his Quirk came into play. Quite frankly, he would say that he’s done a good job at doing so thus far.
But, as stated before, Kaminari was nothing if not stubborn.
A sense of movement catches his attention and he tries not to sigh loudly as he looks toward Kaminari again, who was nodding his head at the balled up piece of paper he had thrown at him previously. “Open it,” he mouthed.
Hitoshi rolls his eyes, but does so anyway. His eyes flickered from the paper and the teacher to make sure he wasn’t unraveling it too loudly. He looks at the scribbled words, then at the blond (who, if he was being honest, looked like an excited golden retriever).
Do you want to study together tonight? Hitoshi shook his head, making Kaminari frown.
           “Why?”
Was he trying to get us detention? He quickly writes down his response before passing the note hastily toward him. I can’t, I’m babysitting Eri for my parents while they’re on patrol. He replied, and it wasn’t a lie. It just wasn’t the entire truth.
The paper was quickly placed in front of him again. Fine. There was a frown-face drawing next to the word. You look like shit, by the way. Was followed by a smiley-face.
And he would deny that he almost laughed or even smiled at that if anyone confronted him about it. He looked over toward Kaminari, who was biting back his own laugh, and flipped him off.
Again, he technically wasn’t lying. He did promise to babysit Eri while their Dad was out patrolling, and Pops has his radio show to manage. So he didn’t feel too bad for staying the night at the apartment to look after her, and as a hopeful bonus, he thought he could get some sleep while he was there.
            Key words: he thought.
Turns out, even after staying up until eleven (which he wasn’t supposed to allow Eri to do) to play Mario Kart followed by a movie, Hitoshi remained wide awake even after his head had hit the pillows. He knows that he has to get at least a couple of hours of sleep tonight, or else he may as well stay in bed tomorrow in case he finally passes out.
Plus, he really didn’t want to worry his Dad and Pops, which they tended to do whenever he went through these sleepless-spells of his. His Dad understood, mostly because he too suffers from insomnia, though it’s not as bad as it used to be according to him.
He thought about working on his homework, but his body was too exhausted to move across the room to get his bag. He was bored, tired, and had nothing to do. Well, technically, he could reach across and grab his Switch, but then he knows that any chance of him actually falling asleep would vanish in an instant.
He rolls onto his side with a sigh, his eyes locking onto the clock, watching as another minute passes. 1:43am it taunts. Next to the clock was his phone, and as much as he knew better than to be on it on nights like this, he knew that the chances of him falling asleep were already slim.
And like a sign sent from above, his phone lit up with a notification.
Purple eyes squint at the brightness, and he reaches over to grab the device, looking a bit surprised by who the message was from.
            Hey! It's Kaminari. You up?
He opens his messages and clicks on the new conversation. Hitoshi doesn’t know whether to be curious about why Kaminari was texting him, or to be curious about how he got his number. He chooses the latter. How did you get my number?
Three dots pop up at the bottom of the chat, Irrelevant. Hitoshi rolls his eyes. But now that I know you’re awake, what kind of music do you like?
It was a bizarre question to ask in the middle of the night, but he shrugs it off. Depends on my mood. Pop rock and Indie are my normal go-to’s though. He waits for a second, not seeing another row of dots, so he adds, Why?
Another second, and Kaminari sends him a link. Found this last week.
Hitoshi stares at the link for a moment, “Babylon?” Curiosity gets the better of him, so he reaches across his bedside table and grabs his Airpods before clicking the link.
About thirty seconds into the song, he replies, Not bad. Much to his surprise. Didn’t know you listened to American culture.
“We said we both loved higher than we knew we could go.”
First of all, 5 Seconds of Summer is an Australian band. Hitoshi huffs out a sound, the corner of his lips tugging up when he moves to lie on his back. And second of all, most English-speaking bands are amazing. It just depends on your taste.
And what exactly is your taste? Hitoshi asks.
Purple hair, pretty eyes, loves to say they hate me when we both know that’s a lie. A winking-emoji is sent afterwards, which makes Hitoshi roll his eyes again.
            Like your girlfriend? He types.
“But still the hardest part is knowing when to let go.”
Three dots dance at the bottom of the screen, and for a minute, Hitoshi thinks that Kaminari was writing him a paragraph.
Yeah, like my girlfriend. Another row of dots dance on the screen before another message comes through, But I like pop music mostly, Indie music is a hit or miss for me.
“You wanted to go higher, higher, higher.”
So, Kaminari texts, Why are you still up? Surely Eri is asleep by now.
Why are you still up? He responds.
“We burned too bright, now the fire's gone, watch it all fall down,”
Another row of dots, then nothing. Hitoshi looks at the time, a minute goes by and Kaminari still doesn’t respond. Weird. So Hitoshi clicks the power button once to turn off the screen, his phone falling from his hands and onto his chest as he closes his eyes. .
            “Babylon.”
For the first time in over a week, Hitoshi slept for more than a few hours last night.
Kaminari never responded to Hitoshi’s previous text, but not too long after he got up, the blond was texting him again as if their previous conversation didn’t happen.
What’s your favorite color? Kaminari asked him.
            Purple. Yours?
            Yellow. Specifically sunflower yellow.
But the texting didn’t stop there.
During breakfast with his family, Hitoshi’s phone buzzed rapidly on the table, which provoked some looks from both of his parents, and even Eri looked curious. Hitoshi shrugged it off until he was getting ready for school.
Question one. Do you have any pets? Question two. When’s your birthday? Question three. Favorite season?
Three cats. July 1rst. And winter. He typed before adding, But only one of the cats is actually mine, the other two are technically my Dad’s and Eri.
So would you say you’re more of a cat person than a dog person?
Yeah, but I don’t mind dogs much. As long as they don’t slobber on me.
The next round of questions happened in school.
They were in Art History with Midnight when Hitoshi’s phone buzzed again. Hitoshi immediately looked to his right to see Kaminari looking up from his phone, which was in his lap, and looked right at him.
Curiosity gets the better of him, and Hitoshi opens his phone, being mindful of their teacher as he reads the text.
What is the craziest conspiracy you’ve ever come up with?
That one took him by surprise. He gives a quick glance between Kaminari and Midnight before replying. What brought this on?
Kaminari’s phone lights up in his lap, and he’s quick to respond. Indulge me.
Midoriya is somehow related to All Might.
Hitoshi watches the blond’s reaction, watching him bite his lip as his body visibly vibrates with a stifled laugh. You would definitely get along with Todoroki. Hitoshi raises a brow in his direction, but is met with a head shake. Cereal before milk or milk before cereal?
            Cereal before milk. Obviously.
            Bullshit!
It’s the only correct way of eating cereal dumbass.
            Coffee or tea?
            Coffee.
            How do you take it?
            As black as my soul.
            Okay, edgelord.
That tug on his lips was back, but he doesn’t leave it there for long, especially when he can feel the blond’s eyes on him. So he turns off his screen and looks ahead toward the whiteboard, ignoring the smile on Kaminari’s face, and the eyes drilling into the back of his head from Jirou.
Maybe Hitoshi was just imagining things, but during training, he swore Jirou looked angry at him. Which seems impossible, since he hasn’t really spoken to anyone outside of Midoriya and Kaminari (though Kaminari mostly did the talking, and he only talked to Midoriya to see if he could borrow his notes). So he doesn’t understand what he could have done to upset her.
At the same time, she looked mad at Kaminari too.
Speaking of, he was his partner for today’s training session, a game of Villains and Heroes. The objective: save the hostages. Today, they were the Heroes, their opponents were Jirou and Asui, and the hostages were Bakugou (who argued this set up for a solid minute) and Uraraka.
And though they were doing well, Kaminari continued their conversation from earlier.
            “Do you think aliens exist?”
He wasn’t even surprised by the question, he was more surprised that Kaminari was asking right now though. Hitoshi peaks around the corner, his eyes locking on Asui but couldn't get a clear view of Jirou from this angle. “Now’s not the time for this.”
Kaminari frowns. “Come on, yes or no.”
Hitoshi rolled his eyes, “Uh, I guess? There’s no solid proof that they exist but at the same time, there’s no evidence pitting against the possibility.”
“Are you a morning person?”             “Do I look like a morning person?” “Considering you drink your coffee black like a psychopath?” Hitoshi was glad that his voice changer covers his mouth, cause he couldn’t help but to smirk. “I guess not.”
“Are you forgetting that we’re in the middle of class?” Or that your girlfriend is probably listening to this conversation right now?
            Kaminari shrugs. “Sunset or sunrise?”
            “Sunset.”
            “Favorite game?”
            “Right now? Genshin Impact.”
            “What’s your type?”
Hitoshi stills for a second, processing the question before he whipped his head around to look at the blond, “What?”
Again, Kaminari shrugs. “Like, romantically. What’s your type?”
            “That shit is so stupid.”
“Come on,” He drags out, stepping closer. “Who's your dream girl?”
“Bold of you to assume I’m into girls.” They both fall silent.
Hitoshi looks at him like a deer in headlights. It wasn’t like his sexuality was a secret, but there were better ways of announcing that to people who weren’t aware.
But Kaminari only smiles, “My question still stands,” He steps closer, peaking around Hitoshi to look at the situation before looking up at him, “Who’s your dream guy?”
Hitoshi doesn’t say anything. And more so, doesn’t get a chance to as a sonic blast invades the alley they were hiding in.
To sum up the rest of practice, the Villains had won that round, Kaminari had short circuited, and Jirou had to take Kaminari to see Recovery Girl. The rest of training went on like usual, and Hitoshi expected a quiet night ahead of him as he noticed how exhausted everyone looked when walking back to the dorms.
            Which leads to now.
From across the hall, Kaminari’s music was turned up and Sex, Drugs, Ect. is playing now. At least he has good taste. Hitoshi argued with himself.
The purple-haired boy stared up at the ceiling, humming along with the music mindlessly. His previous attempt to fall asleep failed as expected, so in the meantime, he listened to the music Kaminari was playing, noting that at least ninety-eight percent of his choices were English.
“Everywhere I go, I know that I don’t wanna be part of something I won’t ever need.”
But while the music was good (and he wasn’t going to pretend like it wasn’t), he was still a bit peeved about why the boy across the hall had to play it so loud. People were trying to sleep.
“Your socialized, romanticized life-ife-ife,”             “Floating on my lowkey vibe,”
“Floating on my lowkey vibe, vibe, vibe.”
As he was about to roll over and attempt to block it out, his phone chimes. And he already knew who it was going to be.
What’s it like living with two Pros as your parents?
He just wasn’t expecting that to be his question.
Hitoshi’s fingers tapped the screen. What do you mean?
Like. Three dots show up at the bottom of the screen, then none. Another three dots, then none. “I don't need that late night high,”
We see them everyday as our teachers, and outside of that they’re the Pro Heroes we’ve all looked up to as kids. I guess I’m just curious to know if they’re any different at home.
“I'm floating on my vibe, vibe, vibe, vibe,”
           “Vibe, vibe.”
Of course they’re different when they’re at home. Hitoshi texted, noting the appearance and disappearance of dots again. It’s not a bad difference, if that’s what you’re wondering.
            “Out of touch in harmony,”
“Designer drugs from dead end streets.”
Why do you ask? Hitoshi typed.
Three dots. No dots. No reason. Smiley-face. Why do you want to be a hero?
Because people said I couldn’t. He found himself typing and sending before he realized what he wrote. Hitoshi holds his breath, waiting for a response. What would Kaminari respond with? Would he say that they were right? That they had a point? It’s not the first time someone’s said it.
His phone chimes with a new message, Well, they’re wrong. You’re gonna go far.
Can I ask you something? Hitoshi asks, Kaminari responds with a thumbs up. Why are you still up?
            Why are you?
“Break the air to feel the fall,”
“Or just feel anything at all.”
Hitoshi doesn’t respond, he finds himself falling asleep before he could.
That was Thursday, it was Sunday now.
The past few days happened as so; Jirou had continued sending him quick glares but other than that, hasn’t spoken to him (he still doesn’t understand how he could have upset her, given he hasn’t spoken to anyone in their class really). Midoriya had invited him to join his study group with Iida, Uraraka and Todoroki but he had declined (mostly because that meant socializing).
Kaminari hasn’t texted him since Thursday. It was kind of annoying how he went from sending text after text to nothing at all. But Hitoshi didn’t press to bother him, and whenever he saw Kaminari looking in his direction from out of the corner of his eye, he shrugged it off thinking it was nothing.
Yet, he couldn’t stop thinking about the lack of messages. It’s funny because they had only texted like that for twenty-four-hours, and yet the lack of it seems to be fucking with him. This is why he doesn’t socialize. Why does it have to be so complicated?
Hitoshi had spent the weekend at the apartment with his family, and though he wasn’t actively waiting for a text, he found himself checking his messages more often, expecting the blond to have asked him a random question with no context. But it was radio silent.
Saturday night, Eri wanted to watch a movie (he doesn’t remember the name, or even what it was about) while their Dad was out on patrol. The three of them had a random assortment of snacks scattered around, Eri and Hitoshi were on the floor surrounded by pillows, and Hizashi was on the couch.
But even though he was meant to be watching, he had kept his phone close, checking it now and then only to frown.
Hitoshi had felt a tap on his shoulder, “Hey, little listener?” His Pops spoke up. The purple-haired boy looked up from his screen (after checking it for the fifth time), and looked behind him, humming in response. “Everything okay? You seem distracted.”
Hitoshi only nods before pocketing his phone, forcing his eyes to look at the TV and attempting to ignore the device until the movie is over.
The next night, he was back in the dorms for school on Monday.
Hitoshi knew that he wasn’t going to sleep anytime soon, so he was on his Switch playing Stardew Valley. He had been working on the mines for an hour when he noticed the music playing across the hall. He paused his game and listened closely to tonight’s song.
“Smiling when I ask if she's bored yet,”
“Wonder if we took it too far,”
Compared to the usual volume that Kaminari had his music set at, tonight the music was only loud enough for him to notice that there was sound coming from his room. Hitoshi sets down his Switch with a sigh, moving to get up from his bed.
           “Both taste confused.”
“Darling, what am I to do?”
At one in the morning, Hitoshi found himself knocking on the blond’s door, even though he was exhausted and didn’t really have the energy to talk to anyone.
“I'd like to think that I'm,”
“The only guy she'll see tonight.”
The door opens, and he’s surprised to see that he wasn’t the only one who looked tired. Kaminari looks surprised to see Hitoshi in general, but doesn’t comment or go to complain, he puts on a smile and leans on the doorframe.
“You can call me what you like,”
“As long as you call me.”
“Are you okay?” Hitoshi asked. Kaminari looked at him confused before he continued, “Normally, your music is way louder, and you look like you haven’t slept. Why are you still up anyway?”
“My music- Oh.” Kaminari realizes and sighs. “Ah, so that’s why she’s mad…” He pushes off the door, walking back into his room with the door left open for Hitoshi to walk in.
Hitoshi immediately notices the mess of papers scattered around his desk, noting how some of the pages look like a coloring book from how many highlighters he had used to make notations. “Why who’s mad?”
“Kyouka.” Kaminari reaches over for his phone and turns down the volume to the music, sitting down on the end of his end with his head low. “We kind of got into a fight, but she wouldn’t tell me what exactly she was mad about? So yeah.”
Jirou’s Quirk… Okay, that would make sense. If you had a Quirk that enhances your hearing and had a partner that played their music loudly at all hours of the night, you would be angry too. But why was she glaring at me then? “So that’s why you aren’t blasting it tonight?” Kaminari doesn’t respond, so Hitoshi skips over that and moves onto something else. He stops at his desk and notices the papers there were from mathematics and modern art, “Is all this just homework?” Kaminari nods, “Is this why you’ve been staying up late?”
“Yeah. It’s not that I don’t understand the material, I do. I could literally recite everything Midnight taught us in class last Thursday if I wanted to.” Kaminari tells him, his hands reaching for what looked like a fidget toy. “But showing that I understand it is a different story.”
“Does my dad know that you’re having trouble?”
“Which one are you talking about?” Kaminari raises a brow. Hitoshi shrugs, “Uh, Aizawa Sensei knows- sorry, isn’t it weird for someone to call your dad by the same last name as you?”
Hitoshi shakes his head. “No, cause I know who people are referring to half the time.”
“Well, he knows. I’m pretty sure all of the teachers do, but he’s been tutoring me on the weekends.”
“Is that you haven’t texted me?”
Kaminari looks up from the fidget. “Aww, did you miss me?” He grins, amusement in his eyes.
            Hitoshi scoffs, “Shut up.”
“You’re not denying it,” He sang.
            “Answer the question.”
Kaminari shakes his head, going back to his fidget. “Partially, yeah.” He admits. His grin turns into a small smile, “I laid off cause I thought I was annoying you.”
“You were.” Hitoshi said, and Kaminari looked down at his lap. “But if I was really bothered by it, I would have told you to fuck off.”
“... So you did miss me, is what I’m hearing.”
“I will leave.” Kaminari laughs. Hitoshi rolls his eyes again before walking over and sitting down next to him. “Who the hell are we listening to anyway?”
The blond gives him a quick glance before reaching for his phone, “A band called Lovejoy. ‘Learned about them today.” He turned his phone over so Hitoshi could see his screen. The first thing he notices is that his background is of him and Jirou. “Call Me What You Like? Isn't that the name of that one Montero song?”
“No, that’s Call Me By Your Name. And the two songs are very different.” Hitoshi hums, leaning back until he is lying on Kaminari’s bed. The blond looks over his shoulder, “Hey, can I ask you something?” Hitoshi hums again. “During training last Thursday, when I asked you who your dream girl was and you... said what you said,” He pauses, waiting for the other to jump in and stop him. “I- I didn’t make you accidentally come out or anything, right?”
“What? No.” Hitoshi says quickly, noticing the way Kaminari deflates at that, like he was relieved. “I’ve been out. I just don’t go around telling people 'cause it's no one's business. Why?”
He shook his head again, “I just… I know what that’s like, so I just wanted to make sure I didn’t put you through that.”
            That peaks Hitoshi’s interest.
            “So… You’re-?”             “Not straight? No, I’m pans.”
He nods, watching as Kaminari lays down next to him. “What happened?”
The other sighs. “Middle school. We were playing truth or dare and they asked me which of the girls we were playing with I would kiss, I told them neither but I would kiss one of the guys.”
            “And they didn’t react well?”
Kaminari shrugs, “Mixed reaction. A lot of them weren’t bothered by it, some of them thought I was joking, the others after class followed me home, ‘told me I was going to go to hell. You know, the usual middle school bullshit.” He turns his head to look at him, sighing when he sees Hitoshi’s expression. “It’s not as bad as it sounds. It could have been worse,” He told him, “They could have told my parents.”
            “They don’t know?”
Kaminari shrugs, “Like you said, it’s no one’s business. Besides, I’m not dating a guy right now anyway.”
            “Does Jirou know?”
“Everyone in our class knows. Hell, ‘pretty sure both of your dads’ know.” He laughs a little. “But do you have an answer to my question?”
Hitoshi looks at him with furrowed brows. “And that question is…?”
            “Your dream guy.”
He scoffs, shaking his head before he looks up at the ceiling. “Oh please- You’re still on about that?” He could see Kaminari smiling out of the corner of his eyes. Hitoshi sighs, “I… don’t know.” He tells him. “Never thought about it.”
“What? You don’t have an ex to compare to?” Hitoshi doesn’t reply. “Wait- So you’ve-?”             “Never had a boyfriend?” Hitoshi turns his head back to him, watching Kaminari nod. So he shakes his head. “No… I mean, come on. Name one person who would want to date me while knowing what my Quirk is.”
“Midoriya.” Hitoshi raises a brow at him, not expecting a response. “He wouldn’t care what kind of Quirk you have. Neither would I.”
Cue the silence, with the exception of the music in the background.
            “This just in,”
“I am a total fucking dumbass.”
He almost laughs at the words. “What exactly is this song about?” Kaminari shrugs. “Can I ask you something?”
“And I've come to the uncomfortable conclusion that I'll be spending the rest of my life in a state of constant paranoia.”
“Just let me follow you, and I'll proceed to bang my head on every doorway and door frame you see suitable for us to go through.”
“Technically you already did, twice.” Hitoshi smiles, “Go for it.”
            “Are you a plant person?”
“Pfft-” He laughs, not expecting the question. “Am I a plant person?” Hitoshi nods, “Do I look like someone who could take care of a plant?”
“And I've found that the road to happiness is paved,”
With rows and rows of very tempting parking spaces.”
“Eh, you’re right.” Hitoshi shrugs, looking up again with a grin, “You’d kill it in a day.”
           “I'm not paranoid, I'm a realist.”
Cue Kaminari shoving him off the bed, the purple-haired boy laughing lightly.
The blond peaks over the side of his bed, looking down at him with a smile. “So you really don’t mind me texting you?” Hitoshi shakes his head. “Great, cause I found some hilarious Tik Toks that I’ve been wanting to send to you. Some of them remind me of your dad to-”
Hitoshi could only stare up at him, smiling like an idiot.
“I know you're gonna kill me!”

brief list of toku guys i genuinely think are straight:
tachibana from blade (i mean yes all three of those evil guys he had drama with were his boyfriends. but. listen it’s just been a weird year for him)
mutsuki also
really everyone in blade except our resident world-shattering romance and that one guy with the guitar who had a crush on hajime
touma from lupat
also sakuya from lupat but touma’s allowed to be straight whereas sakuya needs to go to hetero jail
haruki from z but he’s very much not immune to juggler
riku from geed (who is in fact immune to juggler)
kusaka from faiz minus his weird sexual hateboner for takumi
nitou from wizard except when i want to ship him with shunpei
transhet icon hiden aruto
transhet icon tenkuuji takeru
i go back and forth on whether shinnosuke from drive is straight with a LOT of wiggle room or just a deeply repressed bisexual who will never un-repress it. but i guess it comes out to the same thing in practice
otoya and jirou are both straight despite the fact that they had sex with each other multiple times. it was the 80s shit happens.
i think hongo takeshi never thought about guys before getting cyborg-ified turned his life upside down and left him with the only other person who could understand his situation being also a guy who is flirty and well what else are you going to do. and i think hongo conceptualizes this as having previously been straight but going down the path of homosexuality due to his life getting so weird. and who’s to tell him he’s wrong
not a guy but every woman inoue has ever written comes pre-packaged with a strong hetero aura that you have to actively fight against if you want to headcanon them otherwise
kazumi from build is straight because he and his bros trio said no homo every time they touched tips

Alpha Eijiro Kirishima X Omega Hitoshi Shinso
He had Bakugo to thank for him being able to interact with the redhead. Kirishima stuck to the beta like white on rice and Shinsou would not admit he was jealous. He had no reason to really, he recently joined the class a few months ago and he was fresh in the pack. Very fresh. Only like a month and being scented and having so many different pheromones attack his senses was overwhelming since it was something he wasn't used to. His quirk was a deterrent in his general studies classes and the class Alpha threatened the other Omegas to not bond or interact with him so there was that. Everything changed once he was in the hero's course and he loved it. He loved every single moment here, especially any time he got with Kirishima. Not that he will admit that out loud.
"Oi, eye bags come with us." Shinsou had once again spaced out giving Bakugo a look but following him nevertheless. He didn't feel like being snarky at the moment and besides his Omegan side was always pleased when with the Bakusquad because Kirishima was always around. He followed them to the common room and low and behold everyone was there. There was a puppy pile in the center while everyone else was doing their own thing. He hesitated for a second before slowly making his way to the pile where he caught Ochako's eyes.
"Toshi is here!" In three seconds he was pulled into the mess of limbs and was purring up a storm because the calming pheromones and scenting relaxes him and put him in a daze where he was purring up a storm and cuddling into the closest person to him. He, Ochako, Jirou, Iida, Tsu, and Koda were Omegas and always cuddles daily or sometimes multiple times. This was the third time today so that means someone is either in pre-heat or has been stressed.
"Who's going into pre-heat or stressed?" He always voiced his concerns to see if maybe he needed to give one of them a little extra attention.
"It's me, kero." Ah, so it was Tsu. He maneuvered around a bit to drape himself around her with Koda on his back and Iida in his leg area somewhere. Everyone got comfy again and he was ready to fade out again. Not quite sleeping but, he would just be in a state of bliss. They stood like that until Tsu fell asleep and they all quietly moved to beckon Shoji to grab her. He did as instructed and placed her on one of the couches wrapped in blankets. It was adorable.
"Anyone wants to play games." The bakusquad and dekusquad -minus Tsu and him- jumped on the game playing. Everyone just about watched from various spots as they exchanged controllers going rounds. Kirishima lost for the third round in a row to Mina and threw his controller leaving the circle. To sit right next to Shinsou. Oh no.
"I suck so bad at that game." Shinsou nodded his head in agreement. "Damn you couldn't even pretend just a little?" He shook his head with a smirk.
"That's not very manly to lie like that." Kirishima snorted before throwing an arm around him startling him.
"I think this is why I like you, you don't lie that's so manly!" Anyone else said manly as much as Kirishima did he would avoid them at all costs. Kirishima is an exception to that though and no it has nothing to do with the crush he has on the redhead. Not at all. No influence whatsoever.
"You're a cool person too." If he even says he likes him too his scent will not be able to hide his feelings. It'll be a dead giveaway. He had to look away at the way he just beamed at his teeth and all. Oh God, his heart.
"Wow! That means a lot coming from you because you don't say things you don't mean! Alright, I'm doing something right." Hitoshi didn't know how to respond to this form of enthusiasm so he just nodded along. He expected the redhead to move but was surprised when he stayed instead and started watching them play. It was getting a lot harder to ignore his instincts and not snuggle right up to him. He wanted to bury himself in his side but, he didn't want to embarrass himself.  Maybe he's thinking too much and too hard because Kirishima is a touchy person and loves to hug and cuddle. Fuck it.
"Of course." With that said he threw caution to the wind and snuggled into his side like how he wanted. He was warranted with Kiri making a surprised noise but, pulling him in to get more comfortable. He felt Kiri slide his hand down to around his waist and rest his hand on his hip.
"Are you comfy?" Shinsou was fighting not to make any kind of noise but, nodded his head nevertheless. Kiri satisfied squeezed his hip a bit and turned his attention back to the games being played. Shinsou noticed he wasn't playing anymore and was just watching the squads battle it out. Of course, Bakugo was yelling profanities and getting excited. When Izuku got first place and he got second the only reason the whole common room has not blown up into smithereens was that Tsu and Ochako fell asleep on the couch using Tokoyami and Shoji as pillows. Thank Kami for the small blessings.
"For someone with all these muscles, you sure are comfortable and warm." Shinsou was in a half-awake and half-asleep state unaware of the effect he had on Kirishima. Meanwhile, Kiri was trying in vain not to smother the teen in a hug and squeal. That would not be too Alpha like but, fuck it. What did it even mean to be a true Alpha? The ideals he read about didn't match what he believed. He grew up with traditional parents and he absolutely hated it. Housework, taking care of the family and making money should be equal not specific roles designated for specific secondary genders. The whole thing was ludicrous. "Shhhhh." His face exploded in red as Shinsou turned and threw an arm and leg over him to get more comfortable. The only reason Kirishima didn't combust was that he didn't want to embarrass himself. "Thinking too much, hold me." Kirishima wasn't sure if this was sleepy talk or if he really wanted this. He thought about it for a few seconds before slowly wrapping his arms around. He was blessed with a light purr.
"It's about time." Kiri turned his head sharply but didn't move his body to keep from jostling the sleepy boy on him. He frowned at Katsuki who simply grinned at him. Kirishima decided Kats was not worth his energy right now. Shinsou deserved his energy. Kiri watched everyone around him start getting sleepy and maybe it was his nerves or the warm body of his crush on him but, he found himself slowly closing his eyes succumbing to the darkness.
------------------------------------------------
When Shinsou woke up, it was silent. He was also very warm and comfy. He blinked his eyes slowly adjusting looking for a clock. He found it farther than he thought and it read 5:35 AM. That's when a couple of things hit him at once. He was not in his room, he was leaning against someone and they were very warm and cuddly. He chanced a look up and his eyes widen at the sleepy face of Eji. Holy shit, he fell asleep on him last night. Wait, he actually got sleep? Shinsou shifted to get comfier looking up when the arm around his waist tightened. He looked into the sleepy eyes of Kirishima.
"Where, goin'?" Shinsou smirked at the sleepy talk. He glanced over at the clock and since it was Saturday morning, not even Deku was going to be up until at the earliest 9. He can afford to get some more shut-eye.
"Just getting comfy." Eji watched as Shinsou got back into a comfy position pressing a soft kiss to Kiri's chin. "Go back to sleep." Eji re-adjusted and within moments he was snoring again making Hitoshi giggle. When they're both more awake they'll have a talk but, for now, he will just enjoy the cuddles with his favorite person.

Alphas and Betas Keeping Omegas Safe CH. 4
MHA- Dekubowl (Deku x everyone (but really just Deku x Class 1a minus Mineta cause he got expelled or something idk fuck him)) | SFW Omegaverse
Summary: Izuku Midoriya, one of the few omegas to ever make it into the hero course, has seen his fair share of sexism. He did grow up quirkless AND omega, after all. One day while out and about, he has a run in with some organization... ABKOS. They talk big about wanting to keep omegas safe, but what does that really mean? | LINK TO THIS ON AO3 (incaseideletethisoffmytumblroneday)

---
The 5 arrived on campus and quickly made their way to Heights Alliance where the rest of the pack was waiting.
As they approached the door, Aizawa stood in front and held out an arm. "I'll go in first to make sure they don't crowd. I'm expecting you all to behave and put Midoriya's needs first."
"Of course we will!" Uraraka exclaimed.
Aizawa nodded and entered the doors.
There was a wait, maybe 5 minutes, before he opened the door open and motioned them all inside.
Bakugou entered, cradling Deku close to his chest, ready to protect him from anyone who might try to take him. He knew they were packmates, but nothing would separate him from his dropped omega if they knew what was good for them.
Gasps and murmurs erupted through the pack at the sight of him.
"Oh, Izuku."
"Aw, poor Deku."
"Jeez, little guy looks rough."
"I've explained what happened and what he needs. Pass around the discharge instructions so everyone can read it." Aizawa explained and then began to leave. "If anything happens, call security immediately." And with that, he was gone.
In front of the tv was a massive nest of clothing, blankets, pillows, you name it. That, combined with the couch, gave everyone a place to be so they could surround Izuku with pack scent and comfort.
"We've provided an assortment of fluids and non-perishable foods for him. I've also taken the liberty of acquiring some pajamas for Izuku to change into." Momo smiled and held out a set of yellow and green pajamas she most likely made herself. Uraraka handed her packet of discharge instructions to Momo who took it and nodded in appreciation.
"Katsuki. Would you rather change him or cook for him?" Iida asked.
Bakugou rolled his eyes. To be honest, he'd like to be the one to do both, but the sooner he gets dinner started, then the sooner his omega can eat.
"Kirishima. You change him. I'll get into sleepwear and then get some katsudon started."
Kirishima smiled and approached. He held out his arms for Midoriya. Bakugou's face soured, knowing he'd have to give up hold of his omega for a while. He relented, though, and placed Midoriya into Kirishima's arms.
"That's so manly of you to let us help, Bakubro." Kirishima grinned fully and left with Midoriya for the bathroom with the pajamas tossed over his shoulder.
Bakugou grunted and headed to his room for a quick change, followed by the other two packmates from the mission, Uraraka and Kaminari. Sweaty wasn’t exactly optimal for cooking or comforting their omega.
They returned rather shortly, eager to be there when Izuku was ready. Bakugou beelined for the kitchen while Kaminari and Uraraka joined the others.
"So... Mr. Aizawa said that he was kidnapped and was forced to wear shock cuffs and a collar, but... why?" Mina was looking over the counter at Bakugou.
"Doesn't matter now." Bakugou snapped as he began preparing food. To be honest, that was a lie. He just didn't want to talk about it.
Kaminari, though, did.
"It was some group called ABKOS. I think they're a terrorist group or something?"
"Abkos... that name sounds familiar." Iida commented.
"I'll look it up." Jirou said. She pulled out her phone and typed it in. She was quiet for a moment, her eyes scanning whatever she had found. Her expression slowly turns from disgust, to anger, to horror.
"What? Kyouka, you okay?" Kaminari asked.
"Holy shit."
A few people look alarmed at this.
"What? They're terrorists?"
"They're like... some real organization with sponsors and stuff, but... god, this is all super sexist stuff. Stuff like omegas should just stay at home and raise pups and they're naturally frail."
"Gross! How does anyone support that?" Mina exclaimed.
"Also says... they designed shock collars and bracelets to 'guide your omega into a better headspace'. And they give a 'small harmless shock'."
"Harmless shock!?" Mina practically screamed.
"How is this organization not illegal?" Hagakure shouts.
"They're advertising these collars like helpful tools? They're practically weapons!" Sero said, his volume rising to match his fellow packmates'.
"These articles... 'All Omegas Deserve A Collar', 'Keep Omegas Out Of Stressful Professions', 'Omega Advocacy'..." Jirou listed. She felt like she was going to throw up.
"Let's cease our investigation of ABKOS for now." Iida interrupted. "Izuku is in a drop and our scents should not be tainted with anger or fear. We need to stay calm and collected so we may help him. We will report what we have found to Mr. Aizawa tomorrow while Izuku is being healed."
The pack, previously building on fury and terror, reluctantly agreed and began to calm.
"We should put a show or movie on we know Izuku enjoys." Iida walked to the TV to grab the remote and scroll through their various streaming service subscriptions.
"He loves Hero documentaries. We should put on one of those." Asui said.
"Indeed. A good idea, Tsu."
"Isn't there an old All Might documentary he likes? Something about his time in America?" Satou questioned.
"Yeah, I think it's something like 'All Might Conquers The American Dream?'" Ojiro suggested.
While some of the pack tried to pick out the right thing to watch, Kirishima came in with Izuku cuddled into his chest. "Sorry it took a while. He needed a quick shower so I helped him out with that, but I think Midobro's getting more aware." He spoke softly yet half the pack whipped their heads up and were there in an instant, though they kept a bit of distance so as not to crowd.
"Izuku, you there, buddy?" Kirishima asked softly.
Izuku whined and buried his face into Kirishima's neck to sniff his scent glands. "Kiri..."
Kirishima's inner alpha swelled with pride. "Yeah, buddy, it's me."
"Oh, I wish we could scent him so bad!" Mina whined.
"See how he responds to touching his hands. Be gentle, though." Kirishima said.
Mina, and Koda carefully took his hands to pet, squeeze, and rub them.
And Izuku purred. He purred!
The pack all gasped in delight that their omega was feeling well and safe enough to purr.
"Let's get him in our makeshift nest." Mina whisper-shouted, aware of how close she was to the dropped omega.
The redhead nodded and carried the omega to the nest. Most of the pack followed and started sitting and laying in different areas of the banket mound, letting Kirishima and Izuku take the center. The tv was now running an All Might documentary as everyone got settled. The alphas were closest to Izuku. Kirishima, Iida, Momo, Tokoyami, and Todoroki, with a spot saved for Bakugou.
"You can come out if you promise to be careful." Tokoyami murmured. After a moment Dark shadow slowly appeared and floated above Izuku.
"Is he okay, Fumi?" Dark Shadow asked.
"You heard Aizawa, he will be fine." Tokoyami answered. Dark Shadow hovered for a moment, occasionally moving to get a different angle of their omega, before retreating back into Tokoyami, seemingly satisfied at having looked Midoriya over.
"We should try and get him to drink something." Momo grabbed a water bottle and approached Izuku. She was slow, knowing Kiri might see her as a threat, though he comparatively less likely to snap than Bakugou.
Kirishima's grip on him did tighten but he let Momo get on her knees and reach for him. He let her take Izuku's chin and guide his lips to the opening of the bottle. She unscrewed the cap and let him drink, though they were both watching for signs it wasn't being swallowed properly.
Thankfully he had no problem. Midoriya drank the water and when he pulled away he seemed a bit more aware.
"More?" He asked.
Momo smiled. "Of course, sweetheart." She let Izuku drink as much as he wanted, which ended up being the whole bottle.
When he finished he blinked a few times and looked around.
"What is it, 'Zu?" The redhead asked.
"Kacchan?"
"Aw, he wants Bakugou." Mina cooed.
"Bakubro's making you dinner, Mido. Be patient." Kirishima buried his face in Izuku's still slightly damp fluffy green lockes and nuzzled his head, making him let out a few illegally adorable giggles.
The group continued to coo over their omega slowly regaining clarity until Bakugou came in with a bowl of katsudon. He sat next to Kirishima. "Give him here. I cook, I feed him."
Kirishima chuckled. "Guess that makes sense." He looked down to Izuku who was looking at Bakugou with hopeful eyes. "You ready to be with Bakubro now?" He kissed his forehead and Midoriya whined and reached a hand out to Bakugou.
"Kacchan."
"Yeah, nerd, I'm here."
Kirishima took the plate from Bakugou and let Izuku clumsily crawl into his lap. Bakugou put his arms around Deku to better position him in his lap so his back was up against Bakugou's stomach and he was facing out. Bakugou took the plate back from Kirishima and took the chopsticks in his hands. He carefully grabbed a piece and moved it to the omega's mouth. "Eat." He commanded.
Izuku obeyed and opened his mouth for the food. Once it was placed inside he chewed and smiled. "Thank you... Alpha." He murmured through bites.
Bakugou's inner alpha exploded in pride while the other alphas had to swallow their jealousy. This is what's best for our omega. They told themselves.
The feeding continued for a while, they didn't want to overwhelm him with too much food at once so they took breaks and gave him plenty of water.
Bakugou was giving him the last few pieces of rice when Izuku buried his head in Bakugou's neck. As much as he wanted it to continue, he wanted him to finish the food.
"Deku, eat." He nudged him only to hear the slightest snore in response.
"So cute! He fell asleep on Bakugou's shoulder!" Mina squealed.
Bakugou growled to himself. Why did this nerd insist on embarrassing him whatever chance he got?
"Perhaps we should all get some sleep. Those who do not wish to stay may return to their rooms. The rest of us shall stay here with Izuku for the night." Iida explained quietly.
Nobody left. They all just laid down to sleep. Bakugou grabbed the plate and leaned to the side to place it out of the way before slowly laying back, cradling Izuku the whole way. When they were fully laid down, Bakugou grabbed the nearest blanket, threw it over the two of them, and closed his eyes...
"Love you... alpha."
…If his pounding heart would let him.
...
Midoriya woke up with light peeking in through the window. Where was he? This wasn't his room. This was... the common area?
Warmth... he was... he was laying on top of Kacchan. Midoriya looked around the room. The entire pack was down here... in a massive nest of blankets and clothing. The omega made a move to get up but his wrist brushed across his shirt causing him to wince. Shit that hurt. His wrists and neck were raw and burnt. What-?
Oh. Right. Memories came flooding back to him. The kidnapping, the van, the crash, the awful awful shocks...
Last thing he remembered he was in full-body agony from those shocks... and then it went black.
He must've been rescued and let back into the dorms. Why didn't he remember anything? What happened to Hotaru and her group? Were his wounds gonna heal? What was gonna happen to his scent glands?
"Mm... Deku?" Kacchan's gravelly voice broke Izuku's worrying. "You feelin' alright?"
"Kacchan? What happened to me? What happened to the ABKOS group?"
Kacchan blinked himself awake. "Looks like you're finally out of that fuckin' drop."
"I dropped?!" Izuku practically screeched.
A few pack members jolted awake at the volume. They looked around, eyes landing on Midoriya and smiled.
"Izuku, you're out of your drop." Todoroki smiled. "I'm happy you're feeling better."
"Oh gosh, I was in a drop. I haven't dropped in years." Midoriya whispered to himself.
"I'm glad you're back to normal, Izuku." Shoji said.
"You've got healing in half an hour." Bakugou said, reading off his phone. "With Recovery Girl."
Midoriya experimentally ran a finger over his neck and whimpered at the feeling.
"Don't poke your wounds, idiot." Bakugou huffed.
The omega was silent for a moment.
ABKOS…
"I'm gonna go get changed." Midoriya got up and left for the elevator.
Alphas and Betas…
He rode up the elevator silently, his mind replaying everything.
Keeping Omegas safe…
When the elevator dinged on his floor and quickly made his way into his room to change.
"Being a hero isn't an omega's job, leave that to the alphas."
He changed into his uniform, yelping and whining as the tight cuffs and collar brushed across his wounds.
"We're here to help you return to your omegan nature."
Izuku leaned onto his bed and gripped the blankets.
Omega.
His breathing shuttered.
Omega.
He felt like he was suffocating.
Omega.
Why did it hurt? Why did this feel so bad?
ABKOS
A loud knocking startled him from his spiral. "Deku! You've got healing soon, let's go." Bakugou barked from the other side of the door.
Izuku gasped. He was breathing heavily. He was starting to panic. Healing soon? Had he really been in his room that long?
"Deku!" He knocked louder.
"Coming, Kacchan!" He called back. The omega exited the room to an impatient looking Bakugou.
"Come on." Bakugou took his hand and led him to the elevator.
Izuku looked down at the hand leading him.
Why did it make him feel so hollow?
The whole walk to Recovery Girl's office was like that. Neither of them spoke. The greenette was too busy lost in thought. Occasionally he'd look down at their intertwined hands with a forlorn expression.
Why? He'd been attacked before. Hell, he's been bullied and harassed for being an omega before. So... why?
They were in Recovery Girl's office before Izuku could come up with an answer.
"Poor dear. Take a seat." She motioned to a chair.
Izuku forced a smile and nodded before sitting in the aforementioned chair. Bakugou sat beside him with their hands still clasped together.
As usual, she stretched out her lips to place an uncomfortably long kiss on his cheek, allowing his body's healing process to speed up.
The red and brown charred marks across his skin slowly started to regain their natural pink color.
Bakugou wanted nothing more than to scent him right then and there, to claim what had been taken and held from him, but he waited. He goddamn waited as long as he needed.
Eventually the marks were healed. Recovery girl stepped back and smiled. "There you go. Do they still hurt?"
Midoriya ran his fingers over his neck and wrist, expression finally turning into a smile. "Nope! They feel much better, thank you!" He turned to Bakugou. "Let's get to class."
"Not happenin', nerd."
Midoriya’s smile fell. "What? Why?"
"Doctor's orders, you're resting the rest of the day. Me and a few of the others are staying with you."
Midoriya pulled his hands from Bakugou's grip and tightened his fists.
Bakugou blinked in surprise. That was new.
"I'm fine, Kacchan. My wounds are healed."
"I'm sorry, Midoriya, but the doctor's discharge instructions were clear." Recovery Girl interrupted. "I may have healed you but your body's internal thermodynamics may still be changed and unstable. You need rest and plenty of fluids."
The omega looked at the floor and nodded. "I understand."
"We're heading back to the dorms, Deku." Bakugou reached for his hand but Izuku recoiled and brought his hands to his chest.
"Yeah, I know." He murmured and left.
Bakugou's eyes were wide. What the Hell was with that nerd?
Whatever. Like he cared.
Well, his inner alpha cared very very much.
You've upset Omega! You must protect and care for Omega! Be a better alpha!
Bakugou growled to himself, loud enough for Recovery Girl to hear.
"Now, mister, you better not do anything to harm Midoriya in this state, you hear?" She lightly scolded.
"I'm not gonna do anything to hurt him, you hag!" He yelled and stormed out.
He exited the building and saw Deku walking back to Heights Alliance.
"Deku, what the fuck's wrong with you?" He demanded and he ran to catch up with him so they were walking side by side.
"It's nothing, Kacchan." He spoke so quietly, as if volume itself was his enemy.
Bakugou got in front of Izuku, blocking his path, and put his hands on the greenette's shoulders. "Bull. Shit. Tell me what the fuck's wrong."
Tears cascaded down the omega’s cheeks. His shoulders shook with repressed sobs.
"Deku?"
"I'm the Omega." He whimpered. "Everyone thinks I'm worthless or should just be at home breeding. I should be used to it. Quirkless and omega in middle school... I should be used to it, but... there's so many people out there, grown adults, who think I shouldn't have any say in my future.
"Kacchan they... they didn't just kidnap me to serve their own purposes. They truly thought they were helping some animal find a home. I wasn't human to them, and they're not just some random group of people. There's a massive organization filled with these people." He was crying fully now and his body was shaking.
The sight filled Bakugou with rage, as did anything that seemed to distress his omega. "Why are you letting villains get to you? You know they're insane, they tried to fucking kidnap you for God's sake!" His hands unconsciously gripped into Midoriya’s shoulders and he bared his fangs which didn't seem to faze the distraught omega.
"I know that, Kacchan!” He shouted, momentarily flaring in anger to match his alpha’s. “I just... I have to work harder. Not just to be a hero, but to prove that an Omega can be strong and... and I shouldn't need a pack."
Bakugou's heart froze. Shouldn't need a pack. Did... did he want to leave the pack? Would he lose his precious omega?
"I can't be a hero if I drop. I can't be a hero if I need a pack to take care of me all the time." He whimpered.
"You've kicked the asses of all kinds of villains, you're practically already a pro." Bakugou shouted before pausing and lowering his voice. "You promised... We were gonna become heroes together."
"We are gonna be heroes together.” Midoriya places his hands on Bakugou’s wrists. “But I need to be strong on my own."
The alphas' anger came back in a roaring inferno. "So what, because I'm in a pack you don't think I'm strong?"
"What? No! Of course not!” The greenette stepped back, letting Bakugou’s hands fall from his shoulders. “You're amazing, Kacchan!"
"Packs don't make you weak, you dumbass nerd. You're only weak if you let yourself be. Your pack's got nothing to do with strength!"
"But I'm... I'm... I'm the omega."
"All Might picked you right? If he didn't think an omega could be number one he never would've picked you in the first place! And he fucking loved the idea of us all being a pack. If you look up to All Might so much then maybe take that into consideration!"
Midoriya's tears were still flowing, but less.
He threw himself into a hug with his alpha and cried into his shirt.
Bakugou couldn't even care about his shirt with Deku like that.
"I'm sorry, Kacchan."
"Don't be sorry, ya damn nerd. Let's just get you resting so we can get back to class tomorrow and I can get back to kicking your ass and beating you to the number one spot!"
The omegas sobs slowly tapered off and he looked up at the alpha. "Yeah. Let's do it."
"Finally." He huffed. He started walking back to the dorms and couldn't help but smile when a hand slipped into his.

the hero’s gambit (october, 2021)
The funeral day was... for lack of better words, fucked.
If Shouta hadn't been in mourning for a student (a flame of hope extinguished from someone so young's eyes, just like--) he would have described it more concretely and appropriately.
But honestly, Shouta allowed himself to have a little less self-control, just today.
And, probably because of that, the rest of the day, after the ceremony, went downhill and became a shitty show.
The funeral was simple. Everyone was dressed in black and, funnily enough, Shouta could easily camouflage himself among those present, since, in Zashi's words, Shouta was always dressed as if he was going to a funeral.
Ha! Poetic cinema right there.
And, as if the world had lost its sun when the boy had succumbed, it had still been raining since that night.
The universe could be a painful motherfucker sometimes, Shouta thinks bitterly.
He had to hug all the girls in the class, who sought comfort from their teacher and he didn't judge them for that, he really didn't, but honestly, he was the worst person to do that. At least Kirishima, surprisingly Todoroki, Shoji, and Tokoyami provided comfort to the girls too, well not just them, as Sero and Kaminari burst into tears after a few minutes after things started. Kouda and Jirou supported each other, as did Iida, Asui, and Uraraka, who honestly looked the most desolate.
Bakugou hadn't even attended, and Shouta had a faint idea why. Todoroki was comforting Yaoyorozu, while said 'Bakusquad' was in a pile of hugs even without their 'leader'. Sato and Ojiro were trying to calm a hysterical Hagakure while Tokoyami and Shoji did the same with Aoyama.
The teachers were there too, minus Nedzu, Hizashi was next to Shouta, with his blond hair in a bun and no glasses, looking like he'd aged another ten years.
Shouta was probably the same helpless look, if not worse.
Gran Torino and Mirio were there too, but closer to Yagi, who was further away from the booth, and apparently (if his vision wasn’t failing him already because of his goddamn eye) Tsukauchi as well.
Eri was beside him, holding Shouta and Hizashi's hands, looking lost and oh-- so similar to the eyes before when they found her during the Overhaul raid.
There was no biological family from Midoriya anymore, just a found family, linked by traumas and bonds created in a classroom and dorms.
"Did he…did he really?"
Shouta opens his eye (even though he didn't realize he had closed it) and glances at Shinsou, beside him, with the same posture as always.
But Shouta would be a fool if he didn't notice the tension in his shoulders and the fists, most likely clenched, in his pants pockets, and the wetness in his tired eyes.
And isn't it strange how, all of a sudden, Aizawa Shouta hesitates to respond, either because of a lack of words or because of fatigue or because of the lump in his throat? Whatever it was, he takes a deep breath through his nose and nods his head slowly.
Once, Shouta was considered a person who was never at a loss for words, whether in brutally honest criticism or sarcastic comments and now look at him, once, finally, speechless.
Just the problem child to do that to him.
---
But of course, even after a funeral, he would have no rest.
Because obviously, the universe hated Shouta for some stupid reason and made a point of taking out the worst on him. From ripping Oboro out of his life and reintroducing him, years later, as a human experiment for a pet project, oblivious to everything about his past, to the attacks that have taken place since the beginning of the year, all of which have endangered his class so many sometimes, putting kids, who didn't even have licenses, to face S-rank villains. And then he lost another friend, and this time forever, and part of his own vision and a leg, and other co-workers in a war to the point of collapsing the society of heroes.
And then he lost a student.
Shouta has always been known for his high expulsion rate because he preferred to create ideal heroes for the future and not spend time with children without potential.
But there was always another reason.
There was a reason why no former Shouta students, already graduated heroes scattered across Japan, became death notices, because Shouta taught them not to die.
Shouta was always more rigid, cold, and demanding because Shouta wouldn't know if he could stand to see a student die, knowing it was his fault that he hadn't taught enough and, as a precautionary measure, he always kept emotionally detached.
Only, who knew trauma could connect people?
He let himself slip, and (his) children approached with smiles, achievements, problems, personalities, jokes, and admiration.
Perhaps that was his fatal mistake.
Because deep down, from day one, on the quirk assignment test, Shouta knew that Midoriya would die if he continued the same way he was, reckless and so kind for his own good.
But he saw determination, raw and sharp, refusing to drop even when more than half of his body broke as he felt the breath of death on the back of his neck.
Midoriya, the problem child, convinced him that he would not fall easily, not as long as he had people to fight for.
(he never fought for himself, only for others, and that was one of the great mysteries Shouta wanted to discover while he could, while Midoriya was breathing, in front of him)
Even with the police report, with the news, Shouta couldn’t understand how Midoriya was … gone
Hizashi says it was one of the stages of mourning, but Shouta is sure Tsukauchi didn't tell anyone when he broke the news.
And that's exactly what the Universe threw at him after the funeral.
He tried to ignore the feeling that something was wrong, that he just needed (again) to face the stages of grief and that all those annoyances would go away.
Until he passed the staff room and heard Yagi's voice echo out of the room.
"What do you mean there's no body?!"
Shouta's feet stopped automatically, and he stopped breathing.
"Toshinori--"
"You can't be serious. I saw him, Nao. I saw him on the ground..." Yagi's breath hitched, "I saw him dead. I saw the body, Nao."
"Toshinori, you have to understand, there is no body. The coffin is empty, and the drawer in the morgue too."
...
What the fuck?
"What do we do now that One for All is gone?" an older voice asks, and Shouta can't even get his thoughts straight because it feels like the ground has been ripped out from under his feet.
"Are you really asking this now?!" Yagi's vibrant voice was cold, sending shivers down Shouta's spine "Young Midoriya died! And is that what you're worried about?!"
The sound of a cane hitting something echoed in the empty hallway.
"Toshinori, control yourself! Yes, Midoriya died, and I am as devastated as you are, but you need to remember that Midoriya carried the power and duty that Nana gave to you!" the older voice continued "We need One for All to defeat All for One and...now that Midoriya is gone..."
"We need someone else to take over, whether we like it or not."
A pause.
"No."
"Toshi--"
"Midoriya was destined to be the ninth and last. Anyone else who takes over won't take it, it's a stockpiling quirk, and you know it. No matter how you train them, One for All will destroy their body the moment they use it."
"Izuku broke three limbs the first time," a younger voice said softly "Maybe if--"
"Whoever is next will die," Yagi said, resigned and resolute.
Before Shouta could stop himself, he was already opening the door and bumping into Yagi, Tsukauchi, Gran Torino, and Mirio. Toshinori got up startled, spitting blood.
"Young Aizawa--"
"No" Shouta may not use erasure anymore, but he still knows how to face people and make them shut up, "Don't come with 'young Aizawa' at me--”
“--From the fucking beginning I knew there was something weird between you and Midoriya, and I never pushed as much as I wanted because I cared about my student's privacy and because I know the importance of secrets. But now, I hear you and three others talking about something Midoriya owned that affects not only him but also Japan's biggest super villain and, consequently, the hero society.”
“So I give you two options, either you explain this mess willingly or I'm going to rip it off from you, and you aren’t going to like it."
"Did you just threaten me?" Yagi coughed painfully.
"This secret is not yours!" Gran Torino protested.
"This fucking secret cost a student of mine his life!" he raised his voice, "And that's probably why my students have been suffering since the start of the year. So, yeah, this secret is partly related to all my students and I."
And they were silent.
Yagi sat down on the couch, frowning, and sloppily pointed to the couch in front of him, where Tsukauchi was sitting. Shouta followed the suggestion and sat down, facing the blonde in front of him.
"My power... is called One for All," he sighs, "It's a stockpiling quirk that has been passed down from generation to generation. I'm the eighth holder, Nana, my mentor, was the seventh, and... young Midoriya was the ninth. The power was created by All for One, as a gift for his younger brother, the first holder, who at the time, was declared quirkless."
"Is being quirkless a requirement?" he asked, crossing his arms to hide his fingers digging into his own forearms.
"Not exactly, me and Izu-- I mean, young Midoriya were quirkless."
"Midoriya was quirkless?" he nods "Shit…we're going to get back to this. How was the power passed then?"
"Well, the first one wasn't really quirkless. He had a passive quirk. A quirk that allowed the transfer, and with that, he moved to the second holder and so on."
"And, with each generation, has One for All stocked the power of other holders?"
"Precisely."
"So that's exactly why Midoriya manifested four completely different quirks than One for All was the first time? Those four quirks weren't different powers but parts of the same quirk?"
"Yes," Yagi nodded, and Shouta sighed.
"Why the fuck did you keep this from me?"
"Young--" a glare made him self-interrupt, "Aizawa-san, All for One wants the One for All since his brother passed the quirk, and all past holders fought him. Imagine how many people he told this secret, to destroy the holders. Even though I thought All for One was dead, I didn't want to risk the safety of young Midoriya and his close people."
"That's exactly why Midoriya didn't get the help he needed!" he growls. "I was his homeroom teacher, I needed to know about this subject to protect him if that was the concern. You clearly didn't know what you were doing if the fact that Midoriya just learned to use One for All without breaking all of the bones of his body after the sports festival under someone else's tutelage didn't say enough. You said yourself that Midoriya was quirkless. He was in my class, with kids who had 10 years of control over their quirks. How long Midoriya had, a year?"
Yagi was silent, and the other two older occupants of the room tensed.
"Yagi, when did you give the One for All to Midoriya?" Shouta asked, in a low voice, veiled in anger.
"... on the day of the entrance exam."
Shouta pinched the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath. He then stared at Yagi deep in the eyes, and Yagi swore he saw a red light in the deep dark of Aizawa's eye. The room temperature dropped dramatically, and Shouta said--
"Tell me exactly how you met Midoriya and pray to god, Yagi Toshinori, that I don't choke you here and now."
the draft i mentioned in the end notes of ch66
basically it’s an au where izuku dies after the first battle (season 6) and aizawa finally finds out about some secrets, to only find nedzu is also hiding something

Siren, Pt.4.
Tumblr media
<previous l masterlist l next>
Jirou and Todoroki decided to walk back to the dorms, since it was just a 20 minute walk and the bags weren’t too heavy. The guitarist was happily sipping on her strawberry milkshake while Todoroki explained in minute detail why Shinso is Aizawa-sensei's secret child, Jirou was persuaded, had she not seen the picture frames on the insomniac's dresser with his father, who Shinso is his duplicate minus the beard and the general dilfyness, she would have believed that theory. An uncle would make a lot of sense, though, it was worth keeping in mind.
And speak of the devil, pro hero Erasrehead was in their dorm's common room, drinking coffee out of Oijiro's favorite, sacred, off limits mug. At the instant of acknowledgment, their teacher motioned to them to come, having a serious, alarming expression on his face.
T: "I hope everything's okay, sir?"
J: "yeah, is everything alright?"
A: "Well, I was going to ask Jirou but you can tag along if you’d like. I was thinking some of Amagai's friends should be around them, at least for this night. I asked Shoji and Bakugo insisted to come as well, so.. I guess the more the merrier? also I think you should find some comfortable clothes for Amagai, maybe ask Momo to make something simple?"
T: "On the topic of clothes, we got some stuff for the little girl you mentioned, we weren’t too sure if she’s staying at the same hospital but it Couldn’t hurt?"
J: "Yeah, I bet whatever happened to the poor thing is awful already, and hospital gowns don’t sound very therapeutic and joyful "
A: " That's... actually very thoughtful of you. Please pack up something for the night and be down here at 10 PM, if you're late I'm leaving. no excuses. and I know I'm not one to say this, but try to stay awake, maybe have a coffee? or sleep on the road, its an hour and a half ride. Now, if you'll excuse me."
He washed the mug before leaving, that made them less worried for some reason.
Todoroki and jirou agreed to split the responsibility, Jirou packs her bag and packs the little girls shopping bags, and Todoroki figures out finding Amagai's necessities.
Todoroki knew where to go to first, he needed a guide to help him know what to look for.
Shoji wasn’t in his room? but his room's door was wide open, that was weird. he went to Bakugo's room to ask if maybe he knew, only to notice another door wide open in the hall.
"How the fuck did you get into Amagai's room. and why is Bakugo here."
"Oh we obviously traded a key copy the instant we moved into the dorms. and as for Bakugo...um Bakugo why are you here again?"
"what the fuck is this room?!"
Now that he actually gave himself a chance to look around, he was, in awe.
Everything in the room was white, or shades of blue or grey. Almost 70% of the furniture was glass, or looked like glass. The closet, the table, the chair, the desk. it seemed like a different world how the little lights scattered around the room refracted, the blue lava lamp next to the simple, small bed with a singular plushie, a whale plushie laying neatly on a perfectly made bed.
Deciding to close the door, the scenery changed a little, since the light from the hallway was longer, he noticed the various strange pieces of equipment mounted on the wall. On the back of the door, a a white bag with a red cross was hung - a first aid bag, alongside a particularly large, sleeveless sweatshirt. "Oh so it was here all the time, I should’ve known."
Todoroki steals a glance towards Bakugo, steam practically leaving his ears.
His gaze continued around the walls, his eyes landing on large number of photographs, plastered to the wall with some invisible adhesive. A picture of their's and shoji's acceptance letters, a selfie of Amagai half in water while shoji took the picture with one of his many arms, while doing the peace sign with the other, another photo of shoji with 7?8? cats, scattered on his head, lap and shoulders with Amagai petting one. There was one of Kaminari using Todoroki fire side to make a grilled cheese sandwich, a selfie of Shinso and Amagai in sleeping bags , with a little handwritten note : (shooting stars - rooftop), a few cans of Redbull visible in the background. A picture of Mina hugging Ojiro's tail when she was on her period, and many other pictures.
Todoroki noticed Bakugo's eyes fixated on a specific picture with an uncharacteristically soft gaze and a tiny smile. A picture of him on Amagai's shoulders holding the ten million headband in a raised fist and a wide grin, dripping with pride, the picture being taken after their team had won the cavalry race. Amagai had s subtle smile, forehead covered in sweat and arms and legs littered with minor cuts and grime, but instead of looking at the camera, they were looking up, all their attention on the happinesses of the boy on their shoulders.
He ignored the rapid, silent shot the blond took with his phone, redirecting his attention to Shoji, who was in the bathroom packing the toiletries into a pouch. After placing the pouch into a now almost-full mini suitcase, he sighed and turned to the two boys: "Call Jirou over."
T :"is everything ok?"
S :"Yeah I just need her"
B :" What the fuck is going on??"
S :" I'm not touching anyone’s else's underwear drawer dipshit, but I think Amagai wouldn’t mind too much if Jirou did it for them, even if we literally buy the same shorts but in different sizes”.
After the shock of hearing Shoji cussing, Bakugo silently got his phone and called Jirou over, then the three boys left, all heading to their own rooms to pack an overnight bag, Shoji reminding Jirou to lock the room and give him the key before they leave because it's the same keychain as his own room's key.
~Time-skip to 9:50pm~
The four were in the kitchen with Shinso, bags already at the doorstep in a small pile. Shinso was pouring some coffee for each of them in travel cups to keep it hot. Bakugo pulled out a container of pears that he washed and cut into slices; Shoji telling him earlier that this is practically the only preference you had in food for as long as he has know you. Bakugo called bullshit, they probably just haven’t tasted cooking as good as his, and therefore couldn’t care less. He was dedicated to finding his friend's rival's favorite food when they return back from the hospital.
In a few minutes, an old van pulled up in front of the dorms building, with Aizawa in the passenger seat and, Tamaki?? in the driver’s seat???
B: "is fucking octopus driving us.."
After loading up the car, and mustering up the courage to ask, Jirou, the chosen spokesperson, asked Tamaki.
Ta : "It's actually a gift from Fatgum, when he heard that I got my driver’s license a while ago but didn’t have a car, he gave me his old van. Did you know that this is his first ever car? I was surprised that he was willing to give me it, and I obviously didn’t accept it at first, but then he insisted for weeks, saying that he already has his two dream cars and the ability to easily buy more if he wants too, saying that this van was just "collecting dust", I agreed, with the promise that he would call me if he ever needs a ride or if he just wants to go on a trip or something, he called me a few hours ago and I just happened to be filling the car's tank! I really appreciate Fatgum"
S: "how did you get your license so soon? It sounds like you’ve had it for a while"
Ta: " I have my provisional hero license, if I've proved that I am responsible enough to pass that exam, i've definitely proved that i qualified to take my driving test. The hero license has some other perks too, like access to heroes insurance and what not. Whenever you guys get your licenses, I would suggest at least three or four of your classmates get a driving license. I'm sure some are rich enough to afford a car without worry. It has always came in handy, like now, for example :). ".
The rest of the ride was very quiet, Bakugo and Jirou were sharing headphones, Todoroki was playing Sudoku on his phone, and Shoji was staring out the window, trying not to show any signs of his internal panic.
Soon enough, they were at the harbor. They kept their bags in a police car after detective Tsukauchi offered, Tamaki went to his parents house, which wasn’t too far from the harbor to spend the night.
Bold letters spelling OKI MARINER came into view, the ship, once close enough, looked trashed; the main mast snapped in half, the ship's flag oddly burnt, most likely from the explosives, and once the ship fully arrived and the anchor was dropped, blood streaks and smudges could be seen on it's white body .
