Tetsuro would say you are the luckiest sister in the entire world

Let’s just say it has its ups and downs

For instance, you get dragged into helping with practice basically daily

But you also get to go to tournaments 👀

And tournaments mean cute boys right???

And one of those cute boys just happens to be staring at you right now

You sit up with Akane and Alisa while the boys battle it out for the last spot for nationals

You look down to see a certain snake boy looking your way

Staring… he’s staring at you Yn

Full out 👁️👄👁️

Because you are just so freaking pretty, who can blame him!

Actually all the boys are staring at you Yn but the only one that matters is the one snake 🐍 on the opposite your brother

Now your brother isn’t unaware of this

He’s a middle blocker, he sees it all!

But what he doesn’t see is your precious Yn blushing back at the man who is giving her all the attention

After the game and Nekoma’s victory, you rush down to see your brother

Unfortunately/Fortunately you run smack into the wall of Daishou

You know Daishou, you were just flirting with him 😏

But you also know he’s your brothers arch nemesis

“Hey YN, you look nice today,” Daishou smirks as you blush and smile sweetly at the comment

“Good game Daishou, I thought your team played well!” You respond, still blushing

“Hey could I get your number, I’d like to take you out sometime,” he asks as you nod, quickly punching your number in his phone

You wave and quickly take off to find Tetsuro before he discovers your treason

A few weeks go by and you are talking with Daishou daily

He tells you about his ex-girlfriend and lets you know she’s definitely out of the picture

Soon, you evolve to going on secretive dates

Dates away from the prying eyes of your brother and the entire Nekoma team

Because let’s face it, they all think Daishou is a snake

However you know a different side of Daishou

The side he doesn’t often show to others but is actually really sweet

Soon you two are hanging out often and doing all the cute couple things

Like going to the movies, attending the local fair, taking pictures in one of those photo booths

Tetsuro is aware of your absence and asks you about it

You just tell a tiny white lie and tell him you’re hanging with a new friend

Technically it isn’t a lie tho right

You and Daishou and friends right?

Friends to lovers troupe that is 😌

Daishou eventually takes that next step and asks you to be his girlfriend

Of course you are excited and want to scream it to the world

But you can only scream it so far Yn

Because if Tetsuro finds out, oof

You’ll have a Romeo and Juliet situation real quick Yn

After a while of dating Daishou, you become careless about your strategic date planning

You go into more crowded areas and closer to your home turf

That’s when a certain someone snaps a picture of two certain love birds in an embrace

Kenma sends the picture to Kuroo and says “YN’s making out with Daishou”

Then all hell breaks loose

Not 2 seconds after the text is sent, you receive a barrage of texts and phone calls

You think something’s wrong, skipping the texts and answering your brothers call

“Hey Tetsuro what’s wrong?” You say, blissfully unaware of what’s to come

“What the heck Yn?? Didn’t think you’d be a snake too!” Tetsuro screams as you pull the phone away from your ear

Daishou is just standing there like 🧍🙄

“I’m doing great Tetsuro how are you?” You answer sarcastically knowing you’ve been caught red handed

You aren’t even mad about it, more like relieved

Tetsuro is angry but you know he’ll get over it eventually

At school and home, Tetsuro ignores you for max 2 days

You, on the other hand, enjoy the silence 😌

That is until Daishou decides to show up at school to take you out on a surprise date 🤗

He texts you telling you he’s at the gate and sheer panic grazes your face

Yaku calls you out and you are forced to tell Tetsuro

Of course, he puffs up his chest and races to the front entrance of the school 😒

You follow behind and so do the Nosey Nancy’s of Nekoma high

Kenma is ready to film if necessary

Yaku is just amused

Yamamoto is sad you fell for another man instead of him

And Kai is just exhausted

“How dare you Daishou?!” Tetsuro screams at him as you quickly approach a smirking Daishou

“Tetsuro knock it off now!” You yell, pushing your brother back

“Really YN? Him! Of all people, you choose a snake?!?” Tetsuro screams at you

“Suguru is nice to me and I like him! Can’t you be a little supportive of me please?!?”

Your big eyes bat at your brother as you try to persuade

Tetsuro just sighs

“Fine but if he hurts you, it will not end well!” He says, before turning and scoffing away

You know he doesn’t like Daishou but you know he supports and loves you

And that’s all that matters 🥰

Calling you mommy for the first time - hcs

Haikyuu edition

Tendou:

when you´re baking together

you two have an off day and baking is one of your favorite past time activities

it´s just nice to spend time together, talking, cuddling, dancing around the kitchen and singing together and in the end you even get something delicious out of it

Satori is so in love with you, it´s not even funny anymore, he´d do anything for you

you´re the first person he really feels safe with completely, who makes him feel so special and beautiful at all times

Kuroo:

when you get him snacks while studying

Kuroo is someone who is very inexperienced in relationships which isn´t something bad at all

in fact you think it´s really cute

that being said he is very busy because studying and his grades are always the most important to him

Yuji Terushima:

Yuji noticed he fell in love when he accidentally blurted it out during an arguement. You guys were arguing about him being a flirty asshole and he accidentally blurted out something from the soul that he hadn't even realized himself. "I keep doing it to get your fucking attention y/n! I fucking love you! I want your attention!" It was a random thing he definitely didnt mean to say and he stormed off when he did, crying for a while and trying to figure out his emotions. After a few days he finally figured himself put and confronted you with his newfound love, expecting rejection but being overjoyed when you sighed and smiled, making him promise not to flirt with other girls. He promised. Now that he understood who he truly loved, he didnt need anything else.

Suguru Daishou:

Suguru noticed he was in love with you on a quiet night with his head in your lap. You were talking about something and running your hands through his silky hair, laughing as he yawned and shifted only slightly to get more comfortable. The domesticity of it made his heart do flips in his chest and his mind finally settle on the inevitable conclusion of his feelings. He loved you. Before he drifted to sleep he confessed, a hand gently on your face to keep it tilted to his height in your lap. You shared a kiss before he layed back down in your lap and allowed himself to nap happy knowing he had you.

Shinsuke Kita:

Shinsuke noticed he was in love when you cried to him because you had a rough day. You had been sobbing and he was quietly comforting you when you muttered "you always make everything so much better Shin.." under your breath as you hugged yourself closer to him. He felt his mind stop. When you fell asleep in that position he stayed up, rehearsing what to say to you, how to confess he loved you.. when you woke up the next morning he had only hugged you closer in his late night slumber, head placed gently in the crook of your neck as he slept. When he woke up he confessed to you, and despite how awful your day was that lead to it, you swore up and down it was probably the best of your life.

Tsukasa Iizuna:

Tsukasa noticed he was in love at a game where you had cheered for him. Not the team, him. Your bright eyes and grin as you cheered him and his team on and waved your hands to get his attention made him almost miss the ball as the wave of realization crashed over him. After the game was over he kind of tugged you off to the side while he team was regrouping and kissed you. He didnt have any words, didnt have any idea what he was doing, so he followed his instinct. When you both pulled away breathless he muttered a small "fuck I love you.." and nothing more as your eyes met.

Kenji Futakuchi:

You were at his place with the team for a movie night and clung to him during the last movie because you were sleepy. Kenji's eyes scanned your figure, sleepy and comfortable pressed to his side and let out a small sigh as his mind raced. "Sorry Kenji- I'll move-" you muttered with a yawn realizing you had turned him into your personal teddy bear but he only rolled his eyes, moving an arm to press you even further into his side. "Dont bother. " was all he said at that time, but the next morning after the team left he admitted what he felt, and he gave you a lopsided smile of adoration as you admitted you loved him too. Kenji mentally promised he would make sure to have another movie night soon just so you could cuddle up into him again, it was nice, especially now that you were his lover.

Nohebi Headcanons:

Kuguri is the most popular with the girls but hates it so much

He is dating Shibayama and only Mika knows about it

He keeps getting the ‘as your upperclassman’ lectures but hasn’t used any of their advice and would like them to stop

Takachiho isn’t against the Nekoma rivalry, he finds is funny mostly

He encourages Daishou’s and Kuroo’s fights

Akama is good friends with Shibayama since they went to the same junior high but he can’t approach him with Yaku around

He is very afraid

Shibayama only told him about Kuguri and his relationship, very supportive

He helped start the Libero GC and has since gained a respect for Shibayama and his ability to put up with everything

Sakishima has also approached Shibayama with Akama once but tried to look intimidating the whole time as a joke

It worked to well and now Shibayama is very afraid, until Takachiho tripped him

He loves the rivalry

Hiroo is a more devious and bit louder version of Kuguri

He adores the rivalry, it entertains him to no end

Seguro has anger issues and needs counseling

There was an intervention

Numai cannot give two shits about the rivalry and finds it dumb

But he will encourage Diashou

He suspects Kuguri’s seeing someone but couldn’t care who

Oomizu is an old man trapped in a young dudes body

He is very concerned for the mental stability of his team and the team will invite him to game nights

He will host them as well

The entire team adores his daughter and have been called big brother by her

Kuguri smiled at her once and everyone died

Mika has a black book full of black mail on the team

Even Coach Omizu isn’t safe

Everyone tried to get Kuguri riled up but ended up getting utterly destroyed in the process

It ended on a game night when Akama admitting he knew how to get Kuguri to punch someone

No one believed him

Akama sat next to Kuguri on the floor. He pulled out his wallet and some bills.

“How often are you annoyed?” Akama asked

Kuguri didnt respond until Akama out a bill in front of him.

“Often.”

“Has this bottled up emotion become anger?” He placed another bill.

Kuguri put away his phone. “Yes.”

“Would you like to hit someone?”

Kurugi nodded. Akama set the final bill in front of him.

“Hit them.”

Everyone froze and watched Kuguri.

Kuguri sprang up and punched Numai in the face. He quickly sat down and sighed. Akama rubbed his back, “better?”

Kuguri nodded as he put away the money.

Numai wasnt amused.

Turns out, trying to excite Kuguri didn the opposite and totally pushed him off

It also turns out, Kuguri is incredible strong and left a bruise on Numai’s face

Kuguri never apologized

Mika is the only other one because she figured out what gets him visible annoyed

It’s movie/show adaptations of books

Bring up Rings of Power on Amazon and he will give a four hour lecture on how shit it is (this is mg sister about this show)

For some reason, waking them up is incredibly difficult

They wake up o their own just fine but weekends are for sleeping in and any attempts to ruin that will end in voilence

Their attitude is “wake me up and I’ll cut off your fingers then hand then arm at the elbow and so on til you die.”

They will do it and act like they already have

This includes Mika and they have definite gotten this attitude from Oomizu, who lets them sleep when they have the time or are just doing regular practice

Omizu used to do this, will sometimes do it (not to his family) and his children do it, it doesn’t scare him though

Kuguri’s parents own a reptile shop. Nohebi all go over and help all the time, they all enjoy helping them out

There is one snake that hates everyone except Omizu, its amazing

Kenma is actually really good at dancing and the only person who knows this is Akashi who has been sworn to take this secret to his grave

Daishou and Kuroo have a long text thread that’s just them asking each other for hair care advice

Oikawa and kageyama meet up once a year and have curry together while updating each other about life but they will absolutely deny doing this if anyone actually asks them about it

haikyuu!! neurodivergent headcanons 💕

tw: several listed mental illnesses, some of these are solely off of vibes but most of them I have reasons lol note! I do not believe autism is a mental illness or something that is "wrong" with an individual, hence why the title is "neurodivergent" rather than "mental illness". just had to put that out there! to all my neurodivergent babies I love you! a/n: hello! as a neurodivergent like myself (depression, anxiety, ptsd, bulimia, etc etc) i thought it would be really cool to do an analysis on one of my biggest hobbies (psychological illnesses) and relate them to haikyuu characters! some of them have a deeper explanation because I feel so strongly about it.

it's pretty obvious that bokuto struggles the most to self-regulate, even to others, but I personally believe that oikawa struggles the most with his mental health.

like almost everyone in haikyuu, oikawa is obsessed with volleyball, but he takes it to a point of overexertion and taking his anger and frustration at his own inadequacies out on others.

I really think oikawa's relationship between he and kageyama and he and ushijima are the ones that show how bad his anxiety is

ushijima and kageyama both don't understand the emotions oikawa is feeling which could be written off as them not understanding their talents, but I think it's something more

to me, I feel it is blatantly obvious that ushijima is autistic. he just so frequently seems to be unable to read the emotions of others or takes things literally when it's something else intended. I'm not autistic, though, so autistic community, let me know your thoughts!

bokuto and hinata both have an insane amount of energy, but struggle to be successful in school. sports works for both of them because their focus is constantly needed to be diverted or "all over the place" that it helps them be great players

kuroo is one of those other characters that I feel like I'm reaching to say he has mental health struggles but to me it just comes off in vibes. first of all, any kid with divorced parents should be in therapy so I feel there's definitely some struggles there.

I think kuroo is the type that hides his struggles and pretends they aren't happening. he puts a lot of pressure on himself to be the best at everything he does, and so he feels he doesn't have time to deal with the emotions that leave him feeling empty

kenma was someone I immediately felt was autistic. he has so many key factors like an obsession/hyperfocus on his hobbies and trouble socializing (social anxiety).

kenma has some of the strongest evidence toward my beliefs, specifically in this quote: "I'm not good with people, and I don't want to interact with them. and yet, I'm very concerned about what others think of me." like, tell me that doesn't radiate autistic/SAD vibes!!!!

idk what it is, like inadequacies or what but I genuinely believe oikawa has some kind of trauma. like he's definitely carrying something that so heavily effected him that it controls the choices he makes in life

I don't have much evidence that suna has depression, it's just a vibe because of his mannerisms and what he says. I think it's the kind where it's well-managed, but it shows up in physical symptoms like apathy more than anything.

atsumu gives ADHD vibes solely because of like how all over the place he is and how he can't always seem to properly get out what he's trying to say lol

sakusa is one that to me could be seen as "done with your bullshit" but I think he also hates crowds (like me, I mean who doesn't) and struggles socially probably because of anxiety or autism. not sure!

basing daishou off of vibes, too, because if I'm being honest all I've seen in the show is him having hostile relationships or being on-off with them, though its certain I could be reading too much into it, but that's the fun of headcanons.
