He enters the tent where he knows Regulus is practicing for opening night. The green and black invite him in where Regulus hangs off just a long simple strip of black silk.

James watches as he swings back and forth, his curls swaying in the air as Regulus climbs up the silk and falls with the fabric tightly wrapped around his legs.

His attention is enraptured by the acts.

"You're staring," came a hum.

"Should I not be?"

"This is practice."

"Even better."

Regulus' grey eyes meet his as he slowly lowers himself to face James, their lips barely touching, and his feet dangling from the ground. A mischievous fire ignited. His hand reaches out, intent on pulling his lover's face closer so their lips finally meet. Only for Regulus to pull himself away. Swing back up to the air, a sly laugh bursting from his throat.

James thinks he looks beautiful.

I have this Marauders Au idea:

THE CIRCUS AU

It's a magical AU, but without wizarding schools. The Black family owns their circus for centuries. They have centaurs, merpeople, giants, some muggles too.

One day, they receive a new 'attraction', a werewolf boy who happens to be 17 years old Remus John Lupin.

At the beginning, the Blacks are scared of him, despite that it's still 2 weeks untill the next full moon. Only one is not. The one happens to be Sirius Orion Black III., also 17 years old and an heir to this Circus and the whole fortune of the Black family.

Young Black volunteers to take care of Lupin and they quickly start a friendship.

I don't know if people want me to write their ideas for them but I'd be more than happy to do that so if you have any idea or a prompt you would like me to write with a character you like, you just have to send it to me!

I write fluff, agnst but only with happy ending (I'm soft okay ;w; ) and smut (although not a lot). There is not much i wouldn't write but if I don't feel comfortable with it or don't feel I have enough skills to do it, I won't write it.

i just started the atlas six. like i’ve only gotten to tristan’s first chapter so No Spoilers Please. however. i want to read all the young dudes again. or maybe find another good solid marauders fic (recs are welcome) but i also just bought iron heart (the sequel to crier’s war) and i gotta read that too because wlw fantasy. but i’ve also been putting off reading the night circus and i wanna do it while it’s darker during the day because i feel like those are the best vibes for it. but i need to reread i fell in love with hope soon because that book tore me apart and put me back together in ways i can’t even begin to comprehend and it is easily my favourite. i also wanna try the secret history again and analyze it really good this time, give myself clear opinions. oh the horrors of all these good stories.

Slytherin!Reader becoming Qudditch Captain

A/N : Hi! I loved the idea and hope I did it justice. I don't write for the Marauders unless it's Sirius because I feel I don't have their characters down. I hope you enjoy nonetheless.

Fred :

He just smirks and nods when you tell him.

“Well you are the only worthy Slytherin on the whole damn team”

He is excited about playing against you and teasing you whenever you train.

“Look at you! Captain Y/N can I have your autograph!?”

“Fred!” You yell as you see him and George down the hall. You had just come back from practice and you were practically zooming through the castle to find your boyfriend. You had been so excited to share the thrilling news with him.

“Y/N!” Fred smiled and opened his arms as you jumped him. George just laughed and said his hellos before beginning to walk off.

“What has got you in such a good mood?” Fred guffawed as you swung your body side to side.

“You wouldn’t believe what just happened!” You persisted and Fred raised an eyebrow.

“Well.. Today was the day Slytherin was choosing the new quidditch captain! And that’s.. Me!” You sung out and your grin only grew larger. Fred smirked and pulled you back in for a quick hug.

“Well you are the only Slytherin who is worth a damn anyways.”

“Fred!”

George :

He smiles and kisses your forehead.

“That’s fantastic. You’re still gonna get your ass handed to you in the match though.”

He will always bring it up as if you were the ringleader of a circus as well.

“Well you see my partner and their little pets..” “George!”

You had paced around the halls in disbelief, thinking about how you would tell your friends and most importantly your boyfriend about the news.

“Y/N?” You jumped at the intrusion. Speak of the devil and he will come. You rolled your eyes as your boyfriend, George, walked up to you.

“What are you doing pacing around? Did you just finish quidditch practice?”

You nodded at the question and gave him a small smile.

“Yeah I did. Actually they just named me as Slytherin’s new quidditch captain.” You stated bluntly and George’s eyes went wide.

“Really? That’s amazing.” George pulled you into a hug and pecked at the crown of your head. “You’re still going to get your ass beat on the quidditch field though. Got it?” You could only chuckle and roll your eyes at the comment.

“I don't recall it being opposites day George.” You smacked him and he grinned. “Cheeky. We will see.”

Harry :

Be prepared for the biggest hug of your life when you tell him.

“Guess I have some competition?” He elbows you and smiles.

He will always be there to listen to your rants/questions about how to direct the team. He doesn’t care if it’s ‘mingling with the enemies’.

Gryffindor’s team walked out on the field and you turned. Although you were happy to see your boyfriend you were also confused. You had made sure today was Slytherin’s day to practice.

“Why are you lot out here?” You yelled to Harry and he smiled.

“Well we need to train! Mcgonagall said we could share the pitch today.” You heard collective groans from your fellow house members behind you.

“Tell him the pitch is ours Captain!” One of the boys yelled from the back and you rolled your eyes.

“Captain?” Harry’s eye raised at the comment. You looked away flustered, having forgot to tell him earlier.

“Yeah. I’m the new Slytherin captain. Anyways we will have to share the pitch, he has a note.” You tell the team and mount your broom. Harry gives you a grin.

“Reckon a fake match couldn’t hurt, Captain?”

“You’re on, Captain.”

Draco :

Draco is SO proud.

He gets to brag about his partner to everyone now - not that he didn't before…

Definitely the type of guy to just stare and smirk while you’re trying to direct the team as well.

“Aye aye captain.” (insert a smirk and wink)

The team had huddled around after practice, a long sigh escaping your lips. Today was the day that the new Slytherin captain would be crowned. You couldn’t care less, much expecting Draco to get the spot. It’s not that you weren’t proud of him but a nice warm bath was really calling your name.

“Well team I’d like to announce the new Slytherin captain..” One of your friends said and everyone went silent. Said friend put her arms in the air and did a little wave towards you.

“It's Y/N!”

Your face dropped and everyone patted your back. That is until your boyfriend picked you up and cheered.

“You’re captain darling!” Draco grinned as he left a few small kisses to your cheek. You didn’t mind being captain but you had to say that his reaction was more exciting.

“This is crazy.” You let out a laugh and Draco smirks.

“Can I call you captain from now on?” He teased and you rolled your eyes.

“Absolutely not.”

Ron :

You're the CAPTAIN?

Ron is conflicted. On one hand he’s so proud of you and the other he’s a bit jealous.

He also is scared to go against you but he would never say that out loud.

“That’s.. Great. Wow.” (He tries his best)

Eventually he gets used to it and even uses it against Draco

“Well my partner is your captain so I’d watch your mouth, Malfoy”

You had walked into the Great Hall and looked for your boyfriend. Unsurprisingly enough he was stuffing his face with food and nodding along with whatever Harry was saying. You made your way over and planted your hands around the boys front.

“Hey.” You smiled as Ron looked up front his feast.

“Oh hey Y/N. Sit down.” Ron patted the seat next to him and you waved at Harry. The two talked for a while before Ron turned.

“How was quidditch practice?”

You chewed at your lip debating if you wanted to tell him the news now. Better late than never you supposed.

“It was good. I was actually made team captain.” You mumbled out and awaited his words. Ron’s mouth almost dropped to the floor along with his chicken.

“Captain?!” Ron almost screamed and you shushed him.

“Shhh! Yes!”

Ron seemed to be as still as a stone statue, Harry looking at him then back at you with a silent sorry. He gave you a thumbs up and then continued to mind his business.

“Ron?”

“Bloody hell. My partner is the Slytherin captain. I have to rub this in Malfoy’s face.” He blurted out and you groaned. Typical.

“I swear to god-“

“Have I ever told you how talented you are Y/N?”

Leave it to Ron to be a complete mess with words but still somehow leave you flustered.

“Oh shut it Weasley.”

hey so genuine question here, I saw that post abt sirius. do you actually dislike jude and zar or is it just for funny internets? also if you don't like them, why? I'm new to the Tumblr marauders community so I'm just curious

dislike is such a simple word. jude + zar are like that one couple in high school who are always kissing with tongue in the hallway and i'm the beleaguered student whose locker is right behind them going guys.....hey um....hey guys can i--can i just--

they are two tiny bugs who i found dancing under a teacup in my kitchen one night and i've been putting out traps to try and kill them but they won't die so i bought a microscope + i'm trapping them in a little glass jar 2 study

they are like if i ordered an uber to get 2 my Very Important Meeting and two circus clowns pulled up in the world's tiniest car and before i could speak they yanked me inside and now i'm crushed in the backseat and one is driving in endless circles while the other pulls multicolored scarves out of their mouth and im crying begging them to stop but their jaw is unhinged and scarves just keep coming out
