Hi! I hope you are well. I read one of your posts a few weeks back expressing how deeply you were/are affected by Jared and Jensen. I thought that was a beautiful post. I too have had a similar experience with Jared. Many years ago I worked in entertainment so was used to being around celebrities, and it was no big deal. But the first time I met Jared I feel like I almost had a dissociative experience. There’s just no way to describe it. I felt safe, loved, relieved, and comforted all in one. I met him and 10 seconds later he was hugging me from behind and he took the lead to put me in position for the photo. And I’ve NEVER allowed anyone to do that, ever. But there was just something about him. It was an incredibly powerful experience. He has an ability to meet you and almost instantly can see right into the depths of your soul and know what you’re all about. It was like he metaphorically shook all of the deeply buried emotions I had up and they came to light and I suddenly had to deal with them. Essentially, he sent me on my own “Eat, Pray, Love” journey. Which is not a bad thing, because I have been able to heal from some long-past issues. I am now happier and healthier than I have been in years, thanks in part to that experience. I’ve met him many, many times since, and every time he sees me he always asks about some specific things we’ve talked about in the past. For as powerful as this experience was, I know that it wasn’t about him - though he was the catalyst- but it was about me and my personal journey. He was just able to somehow reach my soul when others couldn’t. And it hurts my heart to see how some are so cruel to/about him. I wish everyone could experience what I did with him. Maybe then they’d get it. He’s a wonderful human being. 💕💕
Oh My God! 💕 The endless beauty of this post. I don't even have words. I can definitely relate and attest that Jared does feel like that in person. I wish words would encompass how grateful I am to you for sharing this post. I am in tears right now because you've given me an incredibly beautiful gift!
Hurts my heart too whenever anyone hates on both of them and please know I love you for reading that post I made because I wrote it with deep reverence and love even if I couldn't go into details and I shared my truth so I am happy someone resonated with that.
I adore you for bravely sharing your poweful journey and I hope you will continue to do so that those who have experienced the same things will have a point of reference.
Jared is an Angel and so are you, I may not know you but I know it takes courage, vulnerability and deep love to write what you wrote. Thank you once more for this incredibly cathartic, beautiful gift! 💕

The Journey of an Independent Daughter: A Story of Survival and Growth
Read my latest piece, 'The Journey of an Independent Daughter: A Story of Survival and Growth,' I peel back the layers of what we often mistake for independence, revealing the hidden survival mechanism.
Mi Hija Es Muy Independiente: My Daughter is so Independent A story goes around my family often when someone talks about my childhood. They would say, “You were so quiet, so self-sufficient that your mom would have to go find you sometimes.” When hearing this story, I would equate that to my aggressive sense of independence and how mature I was from a young age. But then, when I started talking…

How 'Yet' Changes Everything
Ever found yourself face-to-face with a challenge, thinking, "I can't do this"? We've all been there, staring down the barrel of self-doubt. But what if I told you there's a tiny, three-letter word powerful enough to transform these moments of doubt into stepping stones for growth? It's simple, it's magic, it's the word "yet."
Humaira Syed hit the nail on the head when she said, “Every limiting belief becomes the growth mindset tool by adding just this small word 'YET.'" It's a simple trick, but it sure packs a punch!
Tumblr media
The Power of "Yet"
Adding "yet" to any of your limiting beliefs does a little bit of magic. It's like flipping a switch from a fixed mindset ("I can't do this") to a growth mindset ("I can't do this yet"). See the difference? It's all about keeping the door open to possibilities, learning, and growth.
Why "Yet" Works
Encourages Growth: It acknowledges that you're on a journey. Skills can be learned, abilities can be developed, and knowledge can be acquired.
Builds Resilience: It's a verbal reminder that failure isn't the end of the road; it's just a pit stop where you learn what doesn't work.
Promotes Positivity: Instead of hitting a dead end, you're on a path with plenty of future exits. It's a way to stay optimistic, even when things look grim.
Putting "Yet" into Practice
Face a New Challenge: Next time you're up against something tough, add a "yet" to your internal dialogue. "I don't know how to do this... yet." It's a promise to yourself that you're going to figure it out.
Embrace Learning: Remember, mastery takes time and effort. Whether it's a new language, a sport, or a musical instrument, "yet" gives you the mental space to improve.
Celebrate the Small Wins: Every step forward is progress. Didn't nail it today? That's okay because you're not there "yet." Each attempt is bringing you closer to your goal.
"Yet" is more than just a word; it's a mindset. It's the difference between giving up and pushing forward, between stagnation and growth. So, the next time you catch yourself doubting your capabilities, sprinkle a little "yet" on those thoughts and watch how your perspective shifts.
Let's not limit ourselves by what we can do today but inspire ourselves by what we'll achieve tomorrow. After all, the only real limits are the ones we place on ourselves. And with "yet" in our vocabulary, those limits are about to expand
.
Ready to turn your "can'ts" into "cant's... yet"? Let's embark on this journey of growth together!
Stay Weird & Wonderful,
Krystal

The Forest of Reflection
What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another. -Chris Maser
So, let us embark on a pilgrimage of conservation, where each planted sapling becomes a step towards self-discovery. In cherishing the forests, we embrace the reflection of a world in harmony – one where the well-being of nature mirrors the well-being of humanity.

Self Care Activities that Actually Help
My list of practical, achievable and useful self care tips that will actually improve your mood instead of enabling you to wallow.
Reply to your correspondence
Often if we feel low or our motivation is down, we find it tricky to respond to messages and calls from others. This allows unopened messages to pile up which creates stress and even panic. Instead of trying to ignore this problem, set a timer for 15 minutes. Then give yourself those 15 minutes to respond to as many of those messages as possible, starting with the most urgent messages first. If you cannot complete all the messages, take a minute to reevaluate. Can you give yourself another 15 minutes to finish the task today? If not, that’s fine. Assign the task for tomorrow, and repeat the process when you feel refreshed. If you are not able to give a thorough response to all of your contacts, I recommend drafting a universal message to send, stating that you are currently occupied and you hope to offer them a more appropriate message over the coming days. You can tailor this message to suit your needs and circumstances, and it reduces the amount of pressure on you to offer explanations for your absences.
Wash your clothes
Take the clothes you are wearing off. All of them. Strip your bed. Gather up any towels or tea cloths you can find. Wash them all. I cannot overstate the benefit of living in a clean environment, and wearing clean clothes. Even if you can’t wash everything, wash the essentials, and make sure you are wearing fresh clothes from head to toe. You can swap pyjamas out for more pyjamas, what you wear doesn’t matter. Just make sure they’re clean.
Water
Drink a pint of water with nothing added, no fruit, no cordial, nothing. Just drink a pint of water in one sitting. You are almost definitely dehydrated, just like everyone else. Hydration provides mental clarity, energy, and even relives stress. It reduces pains and aches in the body. It helps quell nausea and heartburn. Water is the quickest and easiest way to reduce physical pain or discomfort throughout the day. By keeping hydrated, you’re improving your quality of life almost instantly.
Stretch in bed or on the sofa
The last thing most of us want to do when we feel low or unmotivated is going for a run, or working out at the gym. Instead of pushing yourself to get a serious or intense workout in, try some stretches you can do from the comfort of your bed or sofa. Stretches will help relieve tension in the body and can increase your energy throughout the day. You don’t have to do anything crazy, just a couple of simple, effective stretches will do the trick.
Eat a “healthy” carb
People so often try to avoid eating carbs as they think carbohydrates are inherently unhealthy. This is simply not the case. While carbohydrates are often used in the production of unhealthy treats such as cakes, cookies and pies, they are not fundamentally bad for you. Carbs are our main source of energy, and if you’re feeling low energy is exactly what you need. Try eating a healthier alternative to those instant sugar rush carbs, such as rice, wholemeal pastas or breads, potatoes or oats. You can add other ingredients to these meals, such as berries to oats or some veg to pasta, to make a more filling meal. Everyone eats differently, but we all need carbohydrates in our diet to provide energy and nutrition, alongside other food groups. Creating a balanced diet is much more important than eating “healthy” all the time. Respect your body by fuelling it appropriately and regularly.
Clean yourself as best you can
Have a shower. Take your makeup off. Brush your hair. Clip your nails. Put deodorant on. Brush your teeth. Wash your hands. You might not have the energy for a full “everything shower” but you can probably do one of the things listed above to make yourself feel better about yourself and your hygiene. Don’t berate yourself if you’ve gone a while without practicing any of these for a while, life can be pretty difficult. Just accept your current situation and try to better it as best you can with the energy you now have.
Please reach out to a trusted person or a qualified professional if you feel you need extra support for any reason. You are not alone and you do not need to suffer in silence. Support is there.

Maybe the journey isn't so much about becoming anything. Maybe it's about un-becoming everything that isn't really you.

What is that little voice in your head telling you on a day to day? Is it kind, sweet and supportive? Is it judgemental as hell, pushing you like a strict mother, making you feel as though nothing you do is ever good enough? Does it whisper how beautiful you are in the mirror as you wash your hands or point out the acne you're desperately trying to get rid of? Your inner voice is the soundtrack to your daily life and needs to be on your side, like a best friend, not your worst enemy. But how do you shift your inner voice from cruel to kind? I actually had to do this last week. I felt like nothing I was doing was good enough, especially as I'm in a chapter of self-growth. It was exhausting me. Thoughts like, your clothes are terrible, you desperately need botox, your bank balance is in the gutter, you need to do more, be more, become more...you are not good enough. My inner world was literally dragging me down day in day out. Full to the brim of judgmental thoughts. It was fucking exhausting. So what did I do to shift the gears ? 1] I noticed what was going on - this might happen immediately, but you could also be living with negative inner chatter for months if not years. So if you’re feeling icky and in a low vibe state take some time out to become aware, this means sitting in silence, or a guided meditation to take you out of your head. This little mental break will give your inner critic some rest bite so the real you can see what the hell has been going on.
2] I journaled, I wrote and wrote and wrote. I know journalling is not for everyone, but if you can. Just start asking yourself some questions mine was something like ‘why is nothing I do enough, I am trying my best, I really am, why is nothing I do is ever enough’ after some digging, the answers always reveal themselves.
3] Make a new pact with yourself to be kinder and more loving. I wrote myself a little love letter and decided I will be kinder. I will be more loving, I went deep and used examples of how and this worked like magic. It’s been a week already and my inner voice is more gentle and loving.
Sometimes a little check in with yourself to re-align is all that’s needed.
