a little life update: i recently just started my second year of college in leapmed and aaaah it’s so tiring (saturday classes suck), but i love what we’re learning so it’s all worth it. also, the med school admission test is just a few months away and i don’t know if i have enough time to study for it. oh and lastly, i redecorated my room! what do you think? :)

I don’t usually reblog study tips post because I think we all have our own different study style. Although I’ve read somewhere before about the unconventional study tips (or was it about procrastination?) like where you could set up a camera or video while you’re studying so you’d feel like someone is watching you and you’ll kinda feel to be proper when studying alone rather than slouching on your desk... etc. I just can’t find it right now but that was so spot on for me...

i think i’ll post on a weekly basis hmm.. anyways i’ve been reading about ethnography and fleshing out my swedish vocab and i think i’m making some progress :] i still have two more books to finish before september: one about interviewing and one anthology of essays

i also figured out my courses for the autumn semester and i won’t take sociology or gender studies yet because they would crowd my schedule but i should have space for one of them next year

I would say that" The minimalist podcast" by Joshua Fields Milburn & Ryan Nicodemus which is about minimalism. On the other hand I would reccoment "Mujeres que no fueron tapa" by Wetoker which talks about argentinian women who are continuously forgotten by the society but are still there doing honorable things and that can inspire you either.

just a few more days until christmas! i hope everyone’s feeling the holiday spirit despite being stuck indoors. ❣︎

this was my desk setup in studying for my first term finals and i’m so relieved it’s finally over, i think i did pretty good and that makes me happy! i especially love having photos of my friends and family hung up for motivation. ☺︎︎♡︎

these are rather old english notes but i remember very clearly what the article i took notes on (left side of journal) was about,,, it talked about how facebook content moderators are often faced with mental health issues due to the amount of violent content they have to manually sift through, as well as how some actually started to believe in the conspiracies they read...i think about this article a lot
