Over the weekend I purchased this book ‘Edgar Alan Poe The Complete Tales and Poems’. So far I have read a couple of poems. My current favorite poem is Tamberlane. I interpreted this poem as cold, melancholy, yet heartwarming. Poe has become one of my favorite authors since I was in High School. I remember reading The Black Cat during class. After reading it, I instantly fell in love with this literacy work. Since that day I have followed Poe’s work. Thankfully, I found a book with the full collection of Poe’s work. I am happy and prepared to be consumed by Poe’s tales and poems 📚

End of the year asks: 1, 5, 22 ✨
1 Song of the year? - probably Bad Things by I Prevail because I think I listened to that the most and I really love it :)
5 TV show of the year? - I was gonna say I didn't watch TV shows but I *did* watch like... 70ish episodes of Time Team? I just really got into it again, especially in the past few weeks, and I especially love their medieval digs
22 Favorite place you visited this year? - uhhh... home/my parents' place? my actual travels plans (aka Sweden and Leipzig) got fucked over so I didn't really go anywhere besides home. I did visit a wonderful museum with @daughterofhecata though c:

“True! — nervous — very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say that I am mad? The disease had sharpened my senses — not destroyed — not dulled them. Above all was the sense of hearing acute. I heard all things in the heaven and in the earth. I heard many things in hell. How, then, am I mad? Hearken! and observe how healthily — how calmly I can tell you the whole story.”
