Recognize when things no longer serve a purpose and begin to harm you. You let it go not because of arrogance or pride but because it doesn't fit into your life anymore. So close the chapter, learn the lessons and shake off the dust. Don’t waste your life. Move on.

One of the lessons I keep hearing from spirit is that…
Everyday is a blessed day. Romanticize every chore and every challenge for it forges you into something stronger. Now that we are out of darkness I choose to see the light, even when I’m blinded on days that are pitch black; this to shall pass. If I thought about how many challenges were ahead of me and how many more things I had to do to get to my success I would overwhelm myself; so focus on the now and get what you want done.
The present is the only sure thing in our existence. Make the most of every present moment that you smell fresh air, hear the songs of birds, witnessing the bloom of flowers. It is magical we just miss it because we are so on the go. I am blessed to be able to speak to all of you even indirectly, I know that the world may feel like it’s swallowing us whole but if we can focus on one thing; focus on our heartbeat, focus on our breathing then we realize that in this very moment
Everything is ok 😌❤️

Reason, Season and a Lifetime
People always come into your life for a reason, a season and a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are. They are there for a reason, you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die, Sometimes they just walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilleed; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.
When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season. And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall, the season eventually ends.
LIFETIME, relationships teach you a lifetime of lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway), and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being part of my life.
— Brian A. “Drew” Chalker

Graveyard Talk
"Never have I ever
met a guy as cunning as this one."
Said the old man i met - while visiting a friend.
"Son of a preacher.
Could have been one too.
Horse whisperer, who knows?
But he wanted more.
Became a radio host.
Snake oil. Packs of lies.
But man, he put on a show.
And the money came in.
Met a nice woman too.
Loved him dearly.
Worked and slaved her life away for him.
Cheated on her, too.
Guess where his money went.
That's when sponsors get upset.
Always wriggled out.
But at some point, well... .
Wanna see his place?
Right here. Impressive Tomb, huh?
Like a bunker.
Escape proof - allow an old man a lame joke.
End of the story. No - no snare drum.
Just - curtains."
"Wait!" i said.
"Do you hear that voice from in there?"
And yes, there it was.
"Hey, ain't telling no lie. I'm alive. Get me out. Please."
The old man laughed and said.
"See? Told you before.
Never have i ever met a guy like him.
But i learned my lesson well
and don't fall for his lies no more."

My 11-year-old couldn't decide what flavor of ramen to make, so I told her to flip a coin. Heads for spicy chicken, tails for beef.
Taking my advice, she flipped a penny, and when it landed on tails she said "Wait! Wait! I did it wrong!"
I told her that she did it right, because the real reason for flipping a coin isn't to let fate decide for you, but because when the coin is in the air, you will suddenly realize what you wanted in the first place.
I'm sure there's a life lesson there somewhere…
But honestly, I have never known her to pass up spicy chicken.
