fandom: marvel
ship: blackhill x fem!reader
about: dinner where our two lovely boss ladies cannot take their hands off you. you're all dressed up and so perfect for them.
warnings: smut, exhibitionism, public sex, very brief reference to politics, pet names, praise, degradation, fingering (r receiving, nat giving), dom blackhill, sub r, r has a uterus, r is referred to as she.
"A-and did you see his reaction!" Bucky exclaimed, taking a sip of his drink. "I KNOW!! It was so funny!" Tony chuckled. Their voices drowned out, as you suddenly became aware of Maria's hand sitting on your thigh. It was firm. Your eyes met her hungry gaze. Nat was also eyeing you, you found her staring at your chest.
The team went out to dinner at an expensive restaurant so you had to dress up. You decided to wear a dress that was very revealing, obviously your girlfriends could not take their eyes off of you when you were getting ready.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
They tried to touch you, but you swatted their hands away because you were trying to do your makeup. Also you guys literally had no time to mess around because the reservation was for 8pm and you had to leave in 10 minutes.
Natasha groaned when she realized you were serious. "Please detka, a quickie? I can make it fast." Nat pleated. You shook your head no. As appealing as that sounded, you needed to finish your eyeshadow.
Maria smirked when when entered the room, overhearing Nat's pleads to touch you. "Don't be so desperate dear. Our little slut will practically be begging us to fuck her by the end of the night" Maria spoke calmly.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
And that brought you to this exact moment, you were starting to think that you should've taken Nat up on her offer. You were sandwiched between the two. Nat's fingers started to make it's way onto your thigh as well. Her hand patted your thigh to spread.
You looked at her, turning red. "Cmon detka, no one is paying attention. They're engrossed in the drunken conversation of politics." Nat whispered closely to your ear, her breath tickled you.
You obliged and Maria raised an eyebrow at you, not seeing the actions of the spy. Natasha looked at her with a smirk. Maria rolled her eyes.
Nat' hand snaked between your thighs, trailing up until she met your underwear. Oh, you were soaked. She smirked and traced painfully slow circles over your underwear.
You huffed and looked at Nat with puppy dog eyes. "Y/N! What do you think?" Maria smirked, inviting you to join the conversation. You jumped, obviously not expecting that. Your legs tried to close but Maria held them open. God you looked so flustered.
"Y/N, you're turning red. Are you feeling well?" Carol asked, an ounce of concern sounded in her voice. Valkyrie pinched Carol lightly, she realized what was happening and Valkyrie noticed Carol turning a little pink herself.
"M' fine" you mumbled. They went back to their own conversation, not nothing that you, Natasha and Maria have been fairly quiet. Your head started to feel a little fuzzy.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
You looked at Maria and whined softly. "What is it bunny? Use your words." Maria said firmly. "Please, please, please" you mumbled into her ear. Her demeanor soften, "Please what honey? Can you tell me and daddy what you need?" Maria cooed. "Touch' please" you mumbled, hardly able to form sentences. "Good job at using your words, baby." Maria praised you. She wouldn't be too hard on you, knowing you're in a fuzzy headspace.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
Fuck you looked so perfect, your glassy eyes was her final straw. She caved in and began to fuck you harder. Her fingers curled in you, picking up speed. You had to bite your lip to hide your moans. "You close, bunny?" Natasha whispered into your ear.
You nodded desperately. "Then come for me, be a good girl for me, angel." Natahsa gave you permission. You felt your high approaching. Maria's fingers found your clit and rub fast circles around it. Fuck, this is it. Your legs began to shake as you came down from your high.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
"You okay bunny?" Maria whispered, as both their fingers left you. You whined softly, feeling empty. "Hey guys, Y/N's forehead feels hot so we're gonna go home. You guys enjoy the dinner." Natasha spoke, helping you to feet. You clung onto both of the women. They smiled softly at your clingness. "Hope you feel better y/n" a bunch of mumbles as you guys left.

masterlist part 1 part 2 part 3 extra
summary: you did not expect that your mission to take down the traitor, could end in such a difficult situation for you…
pairing: Natasha x Red Room teen reader
warnings: like, one swear word
genre: fluff, angst
words: 2554
a/n: I apologise if this chapter isn’t the best. I’m in a bit of a depression slum so I’m not really motivated to do anything right now. I might come back later and fix this chapter a bit

 |——————————— ⴵ ———————————|
After leaving the apartment, you immediately noticed the SHIELD agents piled up outside. They must have been listening to your conversation.
Natasha led you towards a SHIELD car, opening the door for you, allowing you to get in. She got in the drivers seat, and followed by about a dozen other SHIELD trucks, she drove towards an airport nearby.
The Quinjet was waiting at the airport, Clint Barton apparently inside of it.
“I know this must be very overwhelming for you,” Natasha spoke, glancing towards you before focusing on the road again.
You stayed quiet, instead staring out the window as you watched all objects blur.
“I promise you we are going to help you,” Natasha affirmed. You turned your head, looking at her.
“You can’t honestly sit there and tell me you are certain they won’t lock me away the moment I set foot in there,” you stated, and Natasha looked at you, giving you a sad smile.
“I promise you, I will do everything in my power to make sure you won’t be locked away,” Natasha started, focusing back on the road and taking a deep breath.
“How can you be so sure?” you asked.
“I’ll think of something. I can put you under my supervision. I can lock you in a room and make sure you can leave it with me. Anything. I will come up with anything,” Natasha assured you. You didn’t want to believe her. You didn’t believe her, yet for some reason, whether it was her tone or the way that she spoke, you couldn’t help but deep down, believe her, even just a little.
You sighed and looked back out the window, wanting nothing but to wake up from this nightmare.
Yet then again, if this were a nightmare, wouldn’t you just wake up in your old one?
Your mind was a mess, and you could hear all the voices in your head scream at you. You saw Madame B every time you closed your eyes, just yelling at you. Telling you what a screw-up you were. Telling you all the ways that you failed them.
You always hated Natasha Romanoff for being a traitor, but now you met her, and you couldn’t help but think that maybe you were wrong.
And even if you weren’t, you were now officially a traitor as well.
You wanted to make Dreykov proud. That’s what you were supposed to do, right? If you made him proud, you’d get rewarded. You were the pride jewel. He loved you, didn’t he? He cared about you. You weren’t some disposable Widow. You knew that. But, then again, he was the one that told you that. And could he really be trusted?
You groaned slightly, rubbing your temple with your right hand and you closed your eyes.
“Everything okay?” Natasha asked, giving you a concerned glance.
“I’m fine,” you bit back quickly, hating to look weak. Natasha didn’t take you response as hurtful. She knew you weren’t actively trying to hurt her. She understood the way you were raised, and she’d be damned if she, or anyone else, would ever misunderstand you.
The drive to the airport didn’t take long, and soon enough you could spot the Quinjet from the car.
“You brought the Avengers superjet…?” you asked, and Natasha gave you a small smile as she nodded. “That’s not exactly subtle…” you told her, yet Natasha just shrugged.
“It’s fast,” she responded, driving the car as close as she could get it to the Quinjet. Once she stopped the car, she got out, walking over to your side and opening the door for you. You didn’t acknowledge it as you got out, immediately noticing the other SHIELD trucks that were parked closely.
Some agents stood outside their cars, their hand on their weapon as they watched you.
You noticed a woman walking towards you, and you took a step back when you decided she was way to close.
The woman didn’t acknowledge your defensive attitude, instead holding up a pair of handcuffs and reaching for your hands.
You pulled your hands back, and before the woman could say anything, Natasha had noticed what was going on, stepping in front of you and stopping the woman.
“What are you doing?” Natasha asked, despite the fact it was obvious.
“It’s protocol,” the woman claimed, yet when she tried to step towards you again, Natasha stopped her.
“She came willingly,” Natasha stated, but the woman just shook her head.
You noticed neither of them were going to give up, and quite honestly you just wanted to get rid of the woman. And so, you took a step forward, holding up your hands to the woman, giving her an expecting look.
Natasha looked a bit shocked, yet didn’t take long to place her hand on your arm.
“You really don’t have to,” she stated, but you interrupted her.
“It’s fine. Let’s just go,” you stated, and the woman nodded as she made quick work of handcuffing you.
After she was finished, Natasha gently took your upper arm, leading you towards the Quinjet. Clint Barton was already waiting on board, having a small smile on his face when he spotted you two.
“Hey kid, nice to see you turn over a new leaf,” he said, yet you just scoffed.
He didn’t seem offended, but rather just smiled and turned the chair around, facing the control panel.
He pressed a few buttons, and the Quinjet closed.
“Take a seat. We’ll be flying for a few hours,” Natasha announced, and you nodded as you held up the pair of handcuffs.
A look of shock and confusion took place on Natasha’s face, before she quickly regained herself and gave you her famous smirk.
“Damn… You’re good good,” she told you, and you gave her a small smile before you sat down on a seat.
Natasha discarded of the handcuffs, placing them in some cupboard before taking a seat next to you. “I know you’re scared, and I know you’re not showing it, and you’ll never admit it, but I promise you, I will make sure everything is gonna be alright,” Natasha said, looking forward, not wanting to pressure you.
You would of course never let her know, but you appreciated what she said. You would indeed never admit it, but you were scared.
You weren’t just scared of the Avengers, though. You were afraid of what Dreykov would do to you. You were afraid what he would think, and what he would say. He would be so disappointed. Natasha Romanoff was right there. The traitor is sitting right next to you. You could so very easily just kill her. Slit her throat. Her guard was down. She would never see it coming. Dreykov would be so proud.
You weren’t sure whether you wanted to kill her, and for the first time in your life, you found yourself debating whether you should kill her or not.
Never once in your life did you think about killing someone or not. Never once did you think about the consequences. I was always just another assignment. Another person you had to wipe from existence, and you never, ever, dared to give it a second thought.
This experience was weird for you.
You didn’t really want to kill Natasha, but yet again, you were supposed to, so why wouldn’t you? It’s not like you really cared whether Natasha lived or died. Did you?
You simply sighed and let your head fall back against the wall behind you, closing your eyes and letting your thought run through your head. What would Dreykov say? You knew what he would say. Deep down, you knew he didn’t care.
-------------------------------------------------------------
After the Quinjet landed, Natasha and Clint guided you through the Avengers tower, claiming they need to take you to an office so you could speak with the director, Nick Fury.
You, of course, knew exactly where that office was, yet you decided to keep your mouth shut and just follow them. You didn’t want to make this situation worse for yourself. You knew the entire lay-out of the Avengers towers, and you were pretty certain Natasha was aware of that.
Once you took the elevator and made it to the office, Nick Fury was sitting behind his desk, Maria Hill standing of to the side with a clip board in her hand.
There were Shield agents standing outside the door, and you were pretty sure they were there to make sure you couldn’t try anything.
“Take a seat,” Nick Fury simply said, and you looked at Natasha unimpressed, before you took a step forward, setting yourself down in the seat at the other side of the desk, across from Nick Fury.
“You understand we cannot trust you, correct?” Fury stated, and you looked him in the eyes, enough for him to accept it as a yes, apparently.
“Director Hill,” Fury then mentioned, getting up from his seat.
Maria Hill walked towards the desk, placing her clip board on it as she sat down herself. She gave you a small smile. You didn’t return it.
You were focused on your surroundings. Clint had left the room. Natasha was leaning against the wall next to the door. She probably didn’t want to disturb the conversation, yet she didn’t want to leave you alone. Maybe she just wanted to keep her eye on you.
Before Fury walked away, he turned to look at you.
“Don’t fuck this up,” he stated, before walking towards the door, leaving the room.
You turned your gaze back to Maria, who had picked up a pen, now waiting for your attention to turn back to her. Once it did, she began speaking.
“I’m just going to ask you a few questions, and you just try and answer them to the best of you abilities,” she explained, and you nodded slightly.
“Could you please state your full name and date of birth?”
“Y/n, the rest I don’t know…” you replied, and Maria nodded. “Do you have any idea of how old you may be?” she asked and you nodded, giving her your assumed age.
She wrote the information down, scratching some things out on the clipboard before turning to the next question.
“Do you know where you were born?” she asked, and you nodded.
“I was born in Russia, but I’m not sure whether my parents were Russian,” you explained, and Maria nodded as she wrote it all down.
“Have you always been in Russia?”
You shook your head, briefly telling her about certain mission you had been on that took longer than a month.
There was that time in Seattle, when you lived with another Red Room Widow pretending to be your mother. You had gone to an actual school, and you had had actual friends.
There was another time in the Netherlands, when you were with a Hydra agent. Something about a debt Dreykov owed to Alexander Pierce. You had been chosen for a mission with a Hydra agent. You were posing as a normal teenager, whose mother passed, which is why your father moved you all the way to the Netherlands. You enjoyed the learning the language, yet you found it one of the harder ones to master due to the many odd rules.
Maria wrote every single detail you told her down, not missing a single thing as she made sure everything was on paper.
After a few more questions, and many ‘I don’t know’s’ from you, Maria finally put her pen down, smiling at you gently.
“That’s all for now,” she explained and you nodded.
“Come on,” you heard Natasha say, and you got up, walking towards her.
“See you later,” she told Maria before guiding you out. Were they a thing? Did Natasha see how Maria blushed? Did Natasha notice how she herself blushed?
Whatever.
Natasha led you towards the elevator, pressing a button, then entering a code. You learned about this. To get to the living quarters of the Avengers tower, you had to enter a code. This was to prevent any unwanted visitors in the living space of the Avengers.
Once the elevator opened, Natasha led you out, guiding you towards a hallway. You followed her the entire way, making sure to walk at least a metre behind her.
You weren’t allowed to walk next to your superiors, and even though you weren’t sure what you place in this tower would be, you didn’t want to take any chances. You didn’t want to stray to far from the manners you were taught.
Natasha probably noticed, but whether she did or not, she decided not to mention it.
Eventually, she stopped in front of a door, pushing a key in the keyhole and unlocking it.
“This will be you room,” she smiled and pushed the door open. “My room is across from this one, and the only other people in this hallway are Wanda and Carol, but she is not often on earth,” Natasha explained, and you nodded as if you didn’t already know it.
You stepped into the bedroom, and it took you a moment to process the fact, that all that space, would be yours now.
“Do you like it?” Natasha asked, waiting by the door.
“It’s so… big…” you stated, slowly walking further into the room. Natasha smiled as she made her way towards another door.
“This is the bathroom. I stocked it with some basic supplies beforehand, so you’ll probably be good for a little while, or just until we get the chance to go shopping,” Natasha stated as she closed the door again.
“This is the closet,” she explained, walking over to the piece of furniture and opening it.
“Right now, there are just some things from me and Wanda that will probably be wearable for you, but we’ll get you some new clothes soon,” Natasha smiled, and you nodded.
Natasha walked over to the desk, sitting down on the desk chair and looking at the ground. It seemed she had something to say, and it would be something you wouldn’t like. You took a seat on the bed, across from her, and simply waited until she spoke.
“Now, because we do not know you, we cannot just let you roam freely around the tower. I managed to convince Fury you shouldn’t be put in a cell, but unfortunately, this door will have to be locked until further notice,” Natasha explained and you nodded.
“He’d be stupid not to,” you replied, and Natasha nodded, giving you a small smile.
“I promise I will come check on you often, okay? And you can leave the room if you are accompanied, so I will make sure to take you on some daily walks or something, alright?” Natasha explained, and you nodded, giving her a smile in return.
“I promise you, everything will only get better now,” Natasha told you, and you nodded as she got up, walking towards the door.
“I’ll get you something to eat, and some entertainment,” she explained, and she left the room.
Suddenly, you were left alone. This was your room. You made the choice. You were officially a traitor. There was no going back. You did this to yourself. You royally screwed up. Or perhaps, just maybe, you made a really good choice?...

Natasha: *getting ready for a run*
Y/N: Mom? Why would you ever want to run 26 miles?
Natasha: The same reason you stay on the couch for the entire month of July.
Y/N: Oh, I get it…

Grew up and fade away
- here's the last request of all time :)) I'll miss writing fics ig but the good news is I'll probably just delete the app so you guys can still enjoy my fics!! It's been a great year and a half with this app :3
"She's never gonna understand, Nat" Wanda spoke in a hushed tone.
A furrowed eyebrow and worried looks have been shared all night. Never in a million years, had they thought this could happen. You are so precious and sweet.
"Mama?"
They immediately put a smile on their faces. Trying to get rid of the frown and act like everything is fine.
"Yes, honey?" Wanda answered.
"Where are we going?" you questioned. "And why do I need to bring Mrs. Widow?" you were referring to the plushie they gave you on your 5th birthday.
Wanda looked at Natasha sending a signal to help her out because she couldn't act normal and tears were starting to build up in her eyes.
"Well, honey." Nat pondered. "Your mama and I thought we could hang out with Mrs. Widow today" she lied.
"But I only bring Mrs. Widow when you and Mama are not around" you pouted. "Are you gonna go on another trip?" you asked. Usually, they'd bring Mrs. Widow with you to Tony's to look out for you when they were on their mission.
"Oh no baby" Wanda butted in. "We're just gonna have a little get-together" she bitterly smiled. "Like a tea party"
"Okay!!" you giggled.
Oh, how innocent you were, Natasha thought. How could they leave someone like you?
On the way to your destination, you recognize the streets. You know where the car was going. And you prayed you guys were just gonna pass there.
As the car stopped your heart dropped. "Mommy? Why are we here?" Natasha looked at you and just smiled. You got out of the car confused about what was going on. You can hear Wanda's silent cry and you can get rid of the pounding in your chest.
"I don't wanna go in there" you murmured seeking comfort from your mommy by holding your arms up to get carried.
Your parents greeted the people there until they got into an office. You guys sat in silence and your grip on your mom grew stronger. You didn't want to let go.
"Mrs. and Mrs. Romanoff?" a lady with formal attire asked. Your parents simply nodded.
"She's ready for her" she ushered.
For her? Does she mean me? you thought.
When Natasha carried you to another room a person was waiting. She had the same hair as you, the same eyes, and the same nose.
"Is that my daughter?" the lady asked.
Your grip tightens more than ever. Natasha was trying to pry off your arms so the lady could have a look at you. But the more she tried the more you clung to her.
"It's okay, honey" Wanda assured.
"No!" you bite.
"It's okay, someone just wants to meet you" Wanda assured again but you weren't dumb you know where this is going.
"No, mama!" you insisted.
Natasha desperately pried you off her until your grip grew weak. She passed you to the lady like a piece of toy. You trashed around not caring who you hit.
"It's okay I'm your real mother," the lady said but you didn't care.
"NO!" you shouted. "Mama help!" you desperately cried.
Wanda cried seeing you like this. They never knew a day could come that you were gonna leave their side. Getting you from foster care when you were only 7 months old brought them joy and now that you're seven the real mother wants to take you back.
"Mama!!!! Mommy!!!!" you sobbed. They never moved and never tried to interfere. It was getting on your nerves. "MAMA!!!!"
They hadn't heard you cry like this in a while. Your cry shattered their hearts into pieces.
"Maybe it's better if you guys head out" the lady with a formal attire said.
"NO!" you insisted. "Mommy don't leave me" you wailed.
Oh, how Wanda wanted to take you and run miles from here. How desperate she was to not bring you back here. But still, they slowly went out the door.
"MAMA!!!" you wailed again trying to pry your hands out of the random lady who claims to be your mother.
"I don't want to be here!" you shouted.
"Mama, Mommy please don't leave me" you sobbed.
But all they did was smile.
P.s i dont really know how foster care works😭 bare with me for the sake of angst

You raced after your target as fast as your feet would carry you. The young girl reminded you of yourself when you’d first been brought to Hydra. She fought hard and was determined to get away from you, but it wasn’t long before you’d cornered her in an alleyway with a dead end.
Her cries for help made your ears ring, and you would have given anything for her to just shut up. You could feel guilt weighing heavily on your chest. It was crushing. You were about to confine this little girl to a life of misery, just like your own.
Your body felt like it was on fire, every instinct you had was telling you to turn around and leave her there, to let her go, but you didn’t. You couldn’t. You pointed your gun at her as you dialed a number on a burner phone, giving the person on the other end your location.
The poor girl cried with all her might, tears streaming down her face. You felt like you were going to be sick. You wished she’d been able to get away from you somehow.
She shrank back until she was against the fence behind her just when you felt a hand on your arm. You kept the gun pointed at her steadily as you took a quick glance over your shoulder.
“You’ve done it again, great work.”
You woke from your nap with a start when you heard a beeping sound. Your chest was heaving. You looked around to check your surroundings and your breath started to even out upon realizing you were safe on the living room couch and your moms were in the kitchen making dinner. The microwave had just gone off.
“Hey, sleepyhead,” Natasha came over when she saw that you’d sat up and were awake, running her fingers through your hair tenderly. “You knocked out at the end of the movie. How was your nap?”
“It was okay,” you nodded, avoiding her gaze. “I’m going to wash up before we eat.”
You needed to clear your head before you sat with them for dinner. There was no way they wouldn’t be able to tell something was up and the last thing you wanted to do was to put your problems on them.
Upon locking the door to the bathroom, your eyes began to tear up. You groaned quietly and pressed the heels of your hands to your shut eyes, willing yourself not to cry. You did your best to steady your breathing and stay quiet, but it wasn’t long before you were choking back sobs while sitting on the cold tile floor.
Your dreams were often plagued by the haunting memories of your past, being controlled by Hydra since your early childhood. You were horrified by what you were capable of. It pained you to think that you had subjected kids to being tormented and ruined their lives. They hadn’t done anything to deserve that. And it was often difficult to convince yourself that you deserved to live in the loving household that you now did, because how could you when many of the kids you’d been assigned to capture probably still worked for Hydra?
Your eyes shot open when you heard a quiet knock on the door. You bit down on one of your knuckles, trying to stifle the sob threatening to leave your throat.
“You alright, kiddo?” Maria’s voice sounded.
You didn’t say anything out of fear of embarrassing yourself, afraid of whatever noise would come out.
“Can I come in?”
She took the sound of the door unlocking as a ‘yes’ and opened it slowly, sitting down beside you.
“What’s wrong, hm?” she murmured, putting her strong arm around your shoulders.
You turned into her embrace, wrapping your arms around her waist as tightly as you could while your body racked with sobs.
Maria held you close and pressed a kiss to the top of your head, “I’m right here, sweetheart.”
Natasha’s footsteps went unheard but she made herself known when she put a gentle hand on your back, doing her best to help soothe you.
Your tears fell freely, but the presence of your mothers was beginning to make you feel better. You were getting ahold of your breathing, matching yours to Maria’s.
Once you were calmer, you moved yourself to sit up with your back to the wall and Natasha was now in front of you, tutting when she saw your tear-stained face and your nose red from crying, “What’s got you so upset, honey?” she asked as she leaned forward to wipe your tears away with her thumbs.
You took a couple of breaths before attempting to respond to her, and while you did so, you realized not many people would be able to understand your feelings the way she might.
“How did… how did you forgive yourself?” Your voice broke as you spoke, fresh tears beginning to fall. “After everything I’ve done,” you shook your head. “I don’t deserve - I can’t - I’m a monster -”
“No, hey,” Natasha took your hand in hers before speaking softly, “You’re working yourself up again. Please don’t talk like that.”
You put your head down and pinched the bridge of your nose as Natasha sat in shock for a couple of seconds, surprised by your question.
It wasn’t often that the Black Widow cried, but as she saw you in your distress, reminding her so much of herself, she couldn’t help it when her eyes started watering.
She looked to her wife for a moment, and when their eyes met, it was clear they were thinking the same thing. Maria could not count the number of times she’d heard Natasha describe herself as a monster.
There were many nights Maria had held Natasha as she cried, feeling like she could never make up for everything she had done. She still felt that way sometimes. Like nothing could be enough for all the lives she’d taken or destroyed.
But you? You might be enough. Natasha felt more sure of that every day. The love she had for you consumed her. It came with an innate need to protect you. Getting to love you felt like healing from her past, something she once never thought she’d feel.
You had a long emotional journey ahead of you in order to come to terms with the reality, which was that you were a victim of circumstance, just like Natasha was. Neither of you asked for the hand of cards you were dealt, but you had to play them.
“Why don’t we go to the couch and talk about this there? Let’s get you off the floor,” the redhead suggested, helping you up.
As you made your way to the couch with Natasha, Maria went to the fridge and brought you water, which you took gratefully.
You sat between your mothers, busying yourself by fidgeting with the edges of the blanket, not feeling too inclined to look at them while you felt so vulnerable, preparing yourself to start speaking. “I have a lot of dreams about my time being controlled by Hydra, some can be really bad.”
Your mind raced as you mulled over how much you were going to tell them. You hadn’t spoken very much about what happened to you while you were being controlled by Hydra. You figured they knew enough from reading your file and Natasha being there when you were taken into custody by SHIELD.
Still, there was a lot you didn’t want them to know. You were ashamed of yourself and terrified that they may not look at you the same way after they knew what you’d decided to tell them.
“I was mostly assigned to kidnappings for Hydra,” A lump grew in your throat as you spoke. “I was having a nightmare about this one girl named Marcy, she was the youngest target I ever had. She was also the last.” You could feel the anxiety you were having in every part of your body. You weren’t sure what you expected them to say but the longer they said nothing the more anxious you became.
“You aren’t going to start forgiving yourself until you’re able to acknowledge that what happened was not all your fault,” Natasha finally said, which made your brow furrow.
When you didn’t say anything, she continued, “You know you didn’t do any of the things you did because of your own volition. Hydra was using a formula very similar to the one the Red Room utilized. You weren’t able to make any decisions yourself. Until you’re able to let up on yourself and come to accept this, you won't be forgiving yourself anytime soon.”
You stayed silent for a couple of seconds before nodding, “I’ve never not blamed myself.”
Natasha offered a soft smile, “I know how that feels. It took me a very long time to get to where I am now. And a lot of help from Maria.”
“And you have both of us every step of the way,” Maria chimed in.
Your eyes watered as the corners of your lips turned up, “Thank you. I love you guys so much.”
Natasha pulled you in for a hug and it seemed like she needed it almost as much as you did, “We love you too. More than you know.”
When you pulled away you turned and hugged Maria, “Thanks for finding me.”
The brunette shrugged with a soft smile, “Of course. But next time why don’t you let us know when something’s bothering you? You scared us there.”
“I’ll try my best. I’m still getting used to the whole asking for help thing. I’m sorry.”
“Ehh, that’s alright. We both know what it’s like to be a little emotionally stunted,” Maria snickered.
Natasha rolled her eyes and playfully kicked Maria’s shin, pretending to be annoyed by her comment as you laughed.
Everything was going to be okay.

Natasha x daughter
"Mom, I'm home from school!", introduced Y/n as she entered the empty apartment. She walked into the kitchen and noticed a note on the fridge.
The note read, "Y/n, I was called on a mission. I'll be back late again. Don't burn the kitchen down making pasta. (JK, I know you are better than that ;) ). See you soon, love. -Mom."
Y/n smiled at the note and sat down to start her homework.
*Time skip*
Y/n was just getting ready to start dinner when her phone rang. The contact read, "UNKNOWN."
Rolling her eyes, knowing what's about to happen, Y/n answered the phone. "Y/n here, no I will not give you the homework answers. Look it up."
"Miss Y/n", a gravely voice rang, "I have kidnapped your mother."
"Who?", Y/n taunted the man.
"Your mother. Natasha Romanoff. Black Widow", the man answered, raising his eyebrow.
"Oh, that mom! Yeah, can you put her on the phone please?", Y/n asked.
The man was confused and looked at his friend for backup, to which he shrugged.
"Ok", the man said, giving the phone to Natasha, who was tied up in a chair.
She positioned the phone under her neck. "Hi, hon", she greeted her daughter.
"Hi, Mom. Quick question. If you got stabbed in between your 4th and 5th ribs, would you cough up blood?"
"...Probably. Why, were you stabbed?", asked Natasha.
"No, I was just curious because we need to write a short story for English class that is due in 2 weeks and I want to write about this woman who has continued to kill her soulmate to stay alive because if you meet your soulmate, you grow old. But she doesn't want to grow old and kills her soulmate, but he just keeps coming back to live over and over", Y/n explained.
"That is a really good idea, and I would be like to read it when you are done", Natasha answered, interested.
"Cool beans. Anyway, I'm just about to make dinner and re-watch 'Moana'. I'll let you get back to kicking butt", Y/n said.
"Alright. Love you", Natasha said.
"Love you more Mom. Stay safe! Don't get stabbed", Y/n warned, before hanging up.
The kidnapper took the phone, and processed to get head-butted by the infamous Black Widow.
*Time skip*
Natasha walked inside the apartment to darkness. She saw a note on the table along with a plate of pasta.
The note read, "Hey Mom. Made dinner and saved you a plate. Went to bed at 9 and maybe stole one of your shirts again. Tony called and said something about an update for your widow bite things. Chat tomorrow. Love you. -Y/n"
Natasha smiled walked to Y/n's room to see a sleeping Y/n, with a shirt on that Natasha stole from Clint in her early S.H.I.E.L.D. days. She walked over and kissed Y/n on the head.
"Sweet dreams, detka", Natasha whispered before she walked back to the kitchen for food.

Y/N mumbles a paragraph from the assigned book again. It’s the third time they are reading it through, struggling to fully comprehend what’s being said. Frustration is starting to rise, as the book has to be read by the end of the week, and they have to write a short essay on it to prove they read it.
“This one had a mast thin as a sapling. Its sail hung skewed and fraying, its sides were patched. I remember the jump in my throat when the sailor lifted his face. Burnt it was, an shiny with sun. A mortal.” They read out loud slowly, taking time with each individual word. Sighing, they rub the space between the brows, starting to feel a tension headache coming.
They don’t have a lot of motivation to do this, because they work so hard on every single assignment, but the grades aren’t showing it. It seems like everyone else in her English class is getting effortless As and Bs, while they are crawling along with Cs and Ds.
Slamming the book shut, they throw it to the ground. Y/N leans their head against the table, shutting their eyes tightly. The amount of work they have to put in their school work is starting to get overwhelming.
Taking a deep breath in and letting it out, Y/N lifts their head and gets back to reading. They know they have to use more time to finish the work, even if it’s starting to feel like too much.
Y/N stares at their paper as they and Peter walk into the compound. D. All that work for a D. Their eyes are burning as the two come up to the living room, where some of the Avengers are hanging out. Although, Peter doesn’t live at the compound, he spends a lot of his time there, being good friends with Y/N.
“Hey, kids!” Tony is the first one to greet them. “Got your English assignments back today?”
Peter nods, taking out his paper. “I got a B+.” He smiles.
“Great job, kid!” He claps his hands together once.
“I know the Avengers work takes a lot out of the both of you, so we want you guys to know we’re proud of you.” Steve smiles before turning to Y/N. “What did you get?”
“A D.” They mumble, eyes and cheeks burning. Their gaze is cast downwards, away from their team’s eyes. They don’t want to see any disappointed looks. “I’m sorry, I really tried. I worked so hard on it. I did my best, but it wasn’t enough.” Their voice starts to crack and their whole body shake.
“Hey, hey,” Natasha gets out of her seat, walking to Y/N, “it’s okay. Grades aren’t everything, you don’t need to apologize.” She wraps her arms around them.
“But it’s not just this assignment, it’s every single one.” They lean against Natasha.
“Why didn’t you tell us? Or ask help from anyone?” Steve asks.
Y/N hiccups, lifting their head. “I wanted to prove I could do it by myself, that I could be just as good as everyone else. But I couldn’t.”
“We all need help with something.” Peter sets his hand on Y/N’s arm. “I always need Steve’s help with history. I just can’t remember all the names and years on my own.” Steve nods in confirmation. “I’ll help you out with English, okay? We can work on the assignments together.”
Wiping away their tears, Y/N nods lightly. They didn’t necessarily feel good about crying in front of everyone, wanting to keep a capable picture of themselves in front of the others, but they still feel relieved to get it all out in the open.
“Thank you.” They whisper.
“We’re all here to help you, kid.” Tony speaks up. “Well, they are. I’m no help in book essay thingies.”
With a small laugh, Y/N nods again. “Do you want to go over our essays together now?” Peter asks.
“Yeah.”
Peter and Y/N start walking out of the room. “You two always make us proud!” Tony shouts after them, showing a thumbs up. Peter smiles giddily as they walk towards his room, craving Mr Stark’s acceptance.

chapter 4.
Pairings: Natasha X Wanda, Natasha X umbrakinetic teen fem!reader, Wanda X umbrakinetic teen fem!reader, Avengers X umbrakinetic teen fem!reader.
Warnings: swearing,
3rd person.
"hey has detka have you seen y/n it's been four hours. She's not in her room."
Natasha says to her girlfriend concerned. It's way past the time y/n should be in bed but Natasha can't find the girl to tell her that.
"I took her to the library."
Wanda responds. She seems less concerned but she hadn't seen y/n exit the library so she assumed she was still there.
"I'll go check. Thanks mylashk."
Natasha says heading for the library.
Natasha enters the library and starts to look around. Someone is definitely here as there are books missing from shelves everywhere. Whoever y/n is no where to be seen. After about thirty more minutes Natasha is about to give up. That is till she sees a mountain of books surrounding a beanbag. A bean bag that held y/n.
Y/n pov.
I don't know how long I've been in here but in all honesty I don't care either. I've been able to read so much! And no one has tried to stop me or yell at me like other bookstore customers. Then a voice breaks me from thought.
"there you are y/n I was getting worried."
It's natasha. She standing Infront of me but she doesn't look angry.
"oh.. sorry."
I am still way to quiet. I was better with Wanda. Not that I should say that. I'd offend Natasha and that would lead to.. I don't think about it.
•red head seems worried.•
•why worried? Nobody worries for us.•
•red head relieved now though.•
•did we relieve her?•
•yes.•
I drown out the shadows again. Natasha just looks at me concerned. I really need to get used to that look being aimed at me. It's.. unsettling.
"you need to go to bed now. It's late. You need sleep y'know."
Natasha says. She seems calm.
"ah.. ok. Sorry."
I say quieter. I really need to get better. Speaking to solely shadows is getting to me. Natasha nods at me.
"if it's ok but have you read all these books?"
Natasha asks. That surprised me.
"only half. The right side is ones I've read and the left I haven't."
I'm louder this time. Still quiet but louder. Good. Natasha looks at the piles. Granted the right side has more books than the left but y'know it's not that bad. Natasha then nods again.
"ah ok. Goodnight y/n."
Natasha then leaves. I get up and walk down to my room. It's quiet. Thank god. I enter my room and sit on the floor again. I'm not ready for a bed yet. Not after the years of sleeping on concrete.
It's morning. And it's bright out. I really need to darken this room.
•bright!•
•too bright.•
•tone it down!•
I try and block the shadows again but their too loud and I cant.
•make it dark again!•
•white bright too!•
Right. I need black paint. I'll find a way to get that. But I should visit the book store and see Sandra.
I walk into the main area and see Wanda and Natasha talking to a blonde woman who I assume is carol. All three turn to me.
"morning y/n."
Wanda says smiling. I'll need to get used to that. Sandra is usually the only one who smiles at me.
"morning.."
I say quietly. Damn I thought I made progress at being louder.
Wanda starts to introduce me to the blonde woman. I half don't listen. Anything I miss the shadows can tell me. Eventually Wanda stops rambling and America smiles at me. Still unsettled by the smiles.
"hey uhm.. can I go back to the bookstore. I help out there and stuff.."
I murmur nearly silent. I really really need to be louder.
•ohh visit Sandra?•
•who's Sandra?•
•friend!•
Natasha's voice breaks through the shadows muttering.
"course you can kiddo. We can walk down now if you want."
I simply nod.
The walk was quick and quiet. Thank the gods. I enter the bookstore and greet Sandra while Natasha walks away.
"hey kiddo how is living with literal superheroes?"
Sandra asks grinning while she pulls out boxes of books that need shelving.
"it's ok. Better than I expected. But I need to darken my room.. it's too bright."
I say. Here at least I speak normally.
•room is definitely too bright.•
•see Sandra again!•
•ooh yes Sandra!•
•hello Sandra!•
I let the shadows rumble their greetings as Sandra explains where the books need to go. I already know where they need to go. I've done this so many times now.
3rd person pov (with Nat and Wanda)
Natasha returned to the compound and sighed as she walk through the door to her and Wanda's level.
"well? How was the walk?"
Wanda asks from the kitchen. Natasha comes up behind her hugging her.
"quiet. She really doesn't like to talk."
Natasha responded.
"what are you cooking? It smells heavenly detka?"
"it my paprikash Nat you should know this by now."
Wanda responds giggling. Natasha smiles.
"ahh silly me."
°three hours later°
Natasha and Wanda have been watching sitcoms for the past hour now but Natasha is starting to worry about y/n.
"detka is y/n coming back alone or am I going to pick her up?"
Natasha asks the red head snuggled beside her.
"I dunno. If your worried we can walk down to find her."
Wanda sits up and turns off the tv.
"and now that you mention it I am starting to worry."
Y/n pov.
I finished shelving ages ago and now I'm reading. After about a million questions from Sandra and the shadows screaming in my ear holes I finally have some peace. And a bonus is the Sandra supplied me with black paint. So there's the brightness issue half fixed. Next is to get light blocking blinds. If I can gather the courage to ask for them that is. But that's an issue for future me to deal with.
"hey kiddo. You will still visit me despite the fact you live with heroes now right?"
Sandra's question confuses me. Why would I stop coming here?
"of course I'll keep coming. Why would I stop?"
Sandra seems a little guilty looking now.
"well you live with heroes. You hardly need a bookstore owner backing you up now. I'm half surprised you came in today."
The older woman explains. I frown.
"I live with heroes but honestly they scare the hell out of me. Besides. Your my friend. I trust you."
I easily explain. At least with Sandra I can speak normally. Then two red heads walk in. Two easily recognisable red heads. Why in Satan's name is Wanda and Natasha here?
•why they here?•
•shhh that's rude!•
•rude but good question.•
"shut up...."
I mumble to the shadows who finally listen to me and quiet. Wanda sees me and smiles. God I need to get used to that. Or she could stop doing it. Though I doubt she will.
"hey y/n. We were just wondering when you were going to be back?"
Wanda asks me. Natasha is talking to Sandra. Wanda then consequently notices the black paint.
"what's with the paint?"
The Slovakian asks.
"oh uhh.. my room is a bit bright and um.. I decided to darken it by painting it black... if that's not ok I won't and I'll just give this back to sandra..."
I murmur. God I'm still too quiet. I'll work on it.
"oh sorry. I never stopped to think if the rooms as bright. I can help paint if you want. It'll be fun!"
Wanda responds.
"and if it's still too bright we can get light cancelling blinds so then you won't need to deal with sunlight too much. You didn't seem the type for bright spaces anyway."
I sit there surprised by Wanda's response. I was expecting a scolding but this is better.. I think. Then Natasha comes over.
"alright you two let's go. Before it's dark out."
The Russian grabs Wanda's hand gently and waits for me to get my stuff before we leave.
"bye Sandra! I'll come back and I won't forget you! Promise!"
I call out to sandra.
"I'll hold you to that kiddo!"
She responds. I then follow Natasha and Wanda out and back to the compound.
Me and Wanda have just finished painting my room black while Natasha put up the sun block blinds.
"there we go. Now your room isn't so bright."
Wanda says proudly looking over our paint job.
•ooh finally not bright.•
•better much much better•
•no sun! Black everywhere!•
•we in heaven?•
I struggle to drown the shadows out. The joy I feel combined with them is too much. Oh well their rambles can go on I suppose. Natasha moves next to us and kisses wanda. I cringe internally. Is this how couples are meant to act?
"brilliant job detka. The paint looks brilliant."
Nat says and Wanda smiles.
"I'm glad the curtains didn't fall on you."
Wanda responds. Is that how your supposed to respond to that? Natasha doesn't seem unhappy...
"yes well how about we go shopping tomato fill the room up."
Natasha proposes. I perk up. Does that mean book shopping? Or drawing shopping? Will I get a new sketchpad?
"that's sounds like a brilliant idea. Y/n how do you feel?"
Wanda turns to me.
"oh.. uh yeah sounds good."
Still to goddamn quiet.
A/n: I honestly thought I posted this ages ago. Then I go to Wright chapter five and what's in my drafts? This. Oops. Sorry for those who actually like this series for the late post.

title: Trust Takes…A Near-Death Experience?
blurb: the one in which the newest combat avenger that has limited healing abilities proves themselves. (fem!reader)
warnings: Clint should look around before leaving cover, Reader just wants acceptance (at the cost of hurting themselves), injury, medbay vibe?, passing out, the team are kinda mean to start with, swearing
Tumblr media
“Now, everybody follow instructions. Nobody go off and do their own thing, this is a quick in and out mission.”
The voice of the Captain boomed through the tech-clad jet, and the brightness from the overhead lights found love in my eyes, causing me to squint in attempt to see my surroundings.
“Stark, Nat and I will clear the pathway to the entrance. Wanda, Sam and Buck, cover and protect the perimeter. Clint and Y/N enter the building quietly, get the flash drive and leave. Don’t make contact with anyone inside.”
A chorus of “got its” and a cheeky “Sir yes sir” from Sam replaced the single voice. Clint made his way over to me, blindly handing me a small handgun.
“Just in case. You should stay behind me, stay in the shadows unless I tell you otherwise. This should be easy.”
His voice was sharp and I could tell he was annoyed I was partnered up with him. I felt the whole group’s eyes set on me and shuffled back in my seat awkwardly.
Stark stood up, lowering his helmet over his head. “Yeah and uh, when you see HYDRA agents try to stay loyal to us. I know they used to be a such a dear part of your life.”
Hostility was woven in his words, and snickers surrounded me. If the ground felt like eating me whole now would be the perfect time. Or eating them. That would be better, and it would be nice to see them grovelling for my help.
Ever since Fury took me in as a HYDRA escapee, the team have been less than pleased by my mere existence. I’m not stupid, I’ve heard them talking. Things about how they couldn’t trust me, that I was a double agent. It hurt sure, but I couldn’t blame them. Who would genuinely believe that an ex-convict would want to play hero to the world? That doesn’t make their words sting any less though. Wanda wasn’t always the good girl, and neither was Nat. Bucky was one of me for gods sake. The constant bitter phrases and venomous speeches filled my life. If I got hurt on a mission, I am convinced they’d just leave me.
“Great, they’ve already zoned out.” Bucky’s voice pulled me back into reality.
Truth is, this mission was kind of scaring me. They keep calling it a simple deal, but there’s too much history there for me. What if one of the agents walking around recognise me? Would they kill me? Or would they drag me back into that lifestyle? I don’t want any part of that, and I sure as hell am working everyday to repay the world for what I did against it.
“We’re here. Get ready.”
Wanda arose from the seat beside me, giving me one glance over before stationing herself behind the doors. Same with Natasha. And Cap, Tony, Bucky, Sam and Clint.
I sighed and stood, slowly pacing my way over to them. I shut my eyes and inhaled lightly, exhaled lightly. Just like Ma taught me.
The shudder of the doors opening reminded me to extra care of myself on this mission, stay in cover and do as I’m told. I’ve resigned myself to doing that every mission though. A part of me hopes that if I just let them control everything and make the rules, well then, maybe they’d start to warm up to the idea of me.
I felt Clint grab on to my arm as he tugged me towards some boulders sat just by the entrance. I allowed myself to be pulled along and crouched low to avoid being detected. We sat in silence together, I kept my eyes trained on the scene playing out before me. I watched as the others killed people quickly and quietly, and as Nat made her way to the door of the building and opened it, ready to kill any onlookers they may have missed. I felt Clint’s eyes place on to me a few times, either from concern or disgust, I’m not too sure, and I’d rather not know.
It was time. I stood from our cover and let Clint lead the way to the door. Nat offered him a small smile as he went inside, and instantly dropped it when she saw me.
Ouch.
‘Don’t let it get to you.’ I could hear my mother’s voice in my head. It chanted like it was some mantra until I found myself following what it was saying.
The inside of the building wasn’t that much different to the outside. It was bleak, grey and was a hub of sadness if anything. Clint was four steps ahead of me, and didn’t so much as turn around to see if I was even there. Part of me thinks he wouldn’t even question my disappearance, that he just expected me to turn double agent real quick and not look back.
We found the room quickly. It wasn’t hard to locate, nor was it well secured. Typical of HYDRA. They focused their resources in the wrong places. The metal door was heavy and rusted, turning into more of a bronze colouring. It was unlocked and made a loud ‘clank’ as we opened it.
I internally cringed as the sound rang through the empty hallways. The noise was starkly contrasted when a deafening silence fell upon us. Then the footsteps came running. One pair, two pairs, several pairs of people could be heard nearing us. And as if to mock us even further, a blaring alarm played out suddenly. If this wasn’t a serious situation, it possibly would of been funny.
The archer grabbed me by the wrist and quickly tugged us into the dark room, and we found solace behind a cabinet. It wasn’t long before the door to the enclosed space opened again, and from the corner of my eyes I could see the shine of flashlights reflecting against the silver panels of the area.
“раскрыть себя (reveal yourselves).”
I shuddered at the sound of Russian. It reminded me all too well of my past, a past I’m far from proud of. The footsteps paced around the room some more, before the flashlights turned off.
“все чисто (all clear).”
Slowly, the resonating footsteps got further and further away. I knew better than that though. There is at least two men still in this room, I know HYDRA like the back of my hand. ‘Sad that they haven’t changed their ways after all these years’, and god I need to stop thinking serious situations are funny.
Before I could garner my attention back to Clint, his grasp on me lessened and though I tried stop him, he moved into plain sight.
Silence.
I held my breath and prepared for what came next, it was inevitable.
I heard Clint sigh, “Shit.”
“Ah Mr Barton, рад встрече (nice to meet you).”
A gruff Russian accent coated the man’s words, the tension in the air was thick and surrounded the room. I watched as Hawkeye slowly reached back for an arrow, setting it into his bow. I felt helpless, I couldn’t blow my cover just yet, and Clint is way too egotistical to ask for help. But still, I know this is not going to end well for him, no matter how skilled he is, he is way too outnumbered. He just doesn’t know it yet.
Ping.
The sound of a sleek, metal point hitting its bullseye in the shape of a man’s head. And lord, Clint has just brought war upon himself.
Before he could reload, or I could pull out my weapon, I heard as the door slammed open and more agents rushed in. Curse the archer for thinking he always knows best.
Gunshots resonated throughout the building, and one could only pray the others could hear it. A hand reached up to my ear piece quickly, and I pressed on it.
“Guys! Backup plea-Clint!”
I watched in horror as he dropped to the floor with a vast array of gunshot wounds taken nest on his shoulders, stomach, torso and just below his heart.
Grabbing my gun from my holster, I left cover and finished off the final three men in the room. I looked around the floor, and fair dues to Barton, he had managed to take out a fair few of them. A groan articulated from beside me and I dropped to my knees in concern. I knew I didn’t have long before more HYDRA officials found their way here and could just hope that the rest of the team would come bursting through the door.
“Clint! Clint, look at me ok? You need to stay still, I’m going to heal you, don’t move.”
My words were shaky and unstable, I don’t know if he could even understand me. But even if I was speaking properly, this man is at deaths door and words wouldn’t be comprehensible anyway. My hands rested comfortably above Clint, a small gap allowing for the particles to flow out of my hands and over his body. I worked silently, even when the door slammed open. One, two, three, four…there was at least fifteen gunshots covering him. I don’t know how far my healing ability can cope with this. I had only ever used it on myself, it was simple trick that was injected into me by HYDRA to ensure they could keep sending me out on mission after mission.
I didn’t dare move even when I heard shouts of Russian around me, or shots being fired into me, all that mattered was making sure his family had their husband and dad in one piece. I watched as his wounds slowly covered over, and as the bleeding came to a stop. My hands didn’t leave him until I knew for sure that every little mark on him was healed.
Pain pricked into me, it was didn’t hurt that much yet it made me scream. I looked up in horror and was met by the rest of the team. It felt like everything was in slow motion now. My head felt woozy and light.
‘Huh, so at least I know I can heal a pretty much dead man’. Not now brain…not now.
My eyes fluttered open and shut like a butterfly, the voices of the team were drained and quiet and my vision was blurry.
The sound of me dropping to the floor.
•/\•
Beep.
“She’s waking up, get Bruce.” “She’s awake?” “Shut up, you’re being too loud.” “You shut up!”
Open door.
“Bucky, Sam. She does not need to hear loud noises right now of all times.”
“…sorry Bruce.”
Footsteps, shut door.
My senses slowly came back to me. I can hear my heart monitor. I can feel a blanket clad around my body. I can smell disinfectant, a aroma of cleanliness. I can taste the metallic tang of blood. I let my eyes open and instantly winced at the light compared to darkness of shut eyes.
“Oh! Sorry about that.” Bruce walked over to my bed and pushed the bright lamp that shone over me to face the wall.
“How are you feeling?”
“Like the devil tried finishing the job.”
He laughed in a geeky sort of way. I don’t mind Bruce. I’ve never met met somebody who contrasted their hero alias as much as him, but I guess that’s what made him more likeable. I saw him slightly tamper with the many wires attached to my hand. He must of felt my eyes on him,
“I’m just upping the morphine.”
“No need.” I allowed my hands to perch on top of my chest and focused my energy towards myself. Gradually, it felt like the ton of bricks was being lifted from my shoulders.
“That works too, I guess. Super cool by the way, the healing thing, wish I had that.”
The door crashed open again, this time the team came stumbling into the room.
“I said one at a time!” Natasha spoke up.
“Yeah, you just always got to be right dont you?”
“Stark, I will widow bite you.”
Wanda made her way over to me with a steaming bowl. It smelt amazing, and my stomach was absolutely begging for food. Not to mention the need to recharge my energy.
“It’s gulyas. My mama’s recipe. I’ve seen you eat it before so I just thought…”
“Thank you Wanda. It smells like home.” I leant forward to take the bowl from her.
“Should you be feeding yourself?” She asked as she moved the bowl away from me quickly.
“In case you hadn’t noticed, I can heal myself. I feel good as new. Just a little rough round the edges is all.” I joked light-heartedly.
The Sokovian looked doubtful as she passed it over to me, setting it gently on my side table and produced a spoon. By now, Bruce had managed to calm the others down, reminding them they were in a medical facility.
Clint awkwardly cleared his throat and captured the attention of everyone.
“I uh…just wanted to thank you for healing me. I thought that mission might of been my last so just..yeah..thanks.”
I smiled at him.
“Hey, it’s part of the job right? Protecting people. Nobody said it had to be just civilians.”
Steve lightly nudged Tony.
“My turn already?”
The others looked at him with annoyed glances.
“Ugh fine. Listen Nightingale, we just wanted to…apologise for how we treated you. You clearly have the teams best…interests at heart.”
Groans encompassed the space.
“Really Tony?” “You could of been slightly heartfelt!”
“What Tony is trying to say Y/N, is that we were unfair. Especially considering the fact that three of us were the same as you…technically four but Tony made weapons of destruction so I’d argue that’s worse.” Natasha cut in, looking towards me hopefully.
“Forgive us? Start afresh?”
I looked down in my lap. It felt weird hearing them say sorry. Or even having their attention full stop.
“I’m not going to lie and say I can just move on from this…it kinda hurt the way I was treated. It felt like when I was trying to finally put stuff right, I was just being shunned even more…”
“That was our fault. Completely.”
“But, I am willing to try. You guys seem cool when you’re nice.” I laughed quietly.
“Seem? Seem? I AM cool.”
“Tony, for fucks sake.”

Opening Up (Peter Parker x Male!Rogers!Reader) *PLATONIC (For now) *WARNING*
Characters: Peter Parker x Male!Rogers!Reader, Steve Rogers x Teen!Brother!Reader
Universe: Marvel, Avengers
WARNINGS: This is a dark one, Male!Reader kind of unwillingly breaks the Geneva Convention, mentions of torture (HYDRA), burns, scars, being shot, blood, injection, unwilling sedation.
Notes: I didn't intend for this to be as dark as it came out, but hey ho it happened. Also it was already super long when I was writing and trying to finish this and come to an ending so kind of didn't get around to making Peter and reader's relationship more than a friendship, so when requests open I'm hoping to do a much happier and nicer part 2.
Can you do a male reader fic where the reader is from the 40’s and is steve’s baby brother who has always looked up to him and Bucky(3-4 years old)? He got caught by hydra after Steve went into the ice, was given Pyrokinesis and has a bunch of scars on him because of what hydra has done to him and maybe some burns, the avengers go into a hydra base just to clear it out and then they see reader going to attack them (he’s around peter’s age by now), reader fails, they take him back to compound, he’s no longer brainwashed, he has a little reunion with Steve and Bucky, he meets Peter because he needs a friend who’s around his age and then they start to date after a while and comes out to the avengers? Sorry if it’s too long! You don’t need to do this one if you don’t want to
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HYDRA has been your life for your whole life. They were your education, your home, your social life. You had grown up not knowing anything other than HYDRA, their agenda and plans, and so it made sense that for a long time, you never questioned them. You never questioned if they were good people, or if they had your best intentions at heart, or how it even came to be that you wound up in their care, or even how strange it was how they’d make you sleep in a strange contraption and how sometimes you’d wake up and people had aged, changed, died and replaced as you had been asleep, or the experiments ranging from simple tests, to excruciating injections that made your blood feel like fire, or the training, and how no one explained it to you. You’d grown up with it, why would you question it?
You didn’t question them until your first supervised mission, where they took you to a secluded tiny abandoned village, leading you to a large barn on the edge of town, and instructed you to set fire to it. You turned to your supervisor, and asked your first question. “Why?”
“We want to see how strong you have become without restriction. Go ahead, make us proud. Do not stop until it is nothing but ash.” He told you. His voice was calm, confident, and almost friendly. Like there was a silent promise behind is words that if you did good and made him proud, you’d be rewarded. And so, you turned to face the barn, held your arms out, them igniting up to your shoulders, facing your palms to the building as fire shot out of them, and hit the building. The wooden structure set alight quickly, and it wasn’t until the flames had trickled up the panels to the roof did you hear the screaming start. The banging on the walls on the inside of the barn. Of the people of the village you thought was abandoned. An absolute terror washed over you at what you were doing, but you felt your supervisors eyes on you, your eyes darting to the other agents, also staring at you, their hands on their guns, prepared to shoot you if you disobeyed or turned on them. You were scared, too scared to stop the flames, to scared to protest. You burned the barn down, no one emerging. Your supervisor praised you, giving you a pat on the back. The other agents made jokes with you on the way back about the atrocities that they now felt comfortable sharing with you, as you were now ‘one of them’, and you just tried to smile, nod, act happy to be there and accepted by them, and try to keep your eyes not too wide, to not drift off into your thoughts, to not cry. You tried not to think of the barn, even years later. Tried was the key word there.
Since then, you’d begun to silently question what was happening around you. Every mission when they had to burn buildings to the ground, destroy documents, heat metal rods and chains to use in negotiations. More evidently, all of this wasn’t harm-free to you. If you didn’t concentrate enough when using your pyrokinesis, you could and have accidentally turned your flames on yourself, leaving you with burns on your arms, chest and even on your face. All of it left you questioning why. Why? Why were they making you do this? Why did you have powers and not them? Why did they forbid you from talking when out on missions, especially with outsiders? Why? What was the point? But after you asked them that, you quickly learned to stop asking questions after the torture they put you through for a week, though that alone answered it all for you. They were making you do this because they were bad people. You had powers because they did something to do, because they’re bad people. They didn’t want you talking because you could spill secrets, because they’re bad people. And you had helped them, whether aware or not, you had helped them do awful things, and that made you a bad person. You were just as bad as them, and so even if you hated them, you believed you were where you belonged.
At least, that was the only thing you could consider, up until your current situation. That situation was the base you were currently at, being under attack. Your first orders were to go with the lead scientists and your handler to escape, but as things became more dire, escape plans going out the window one by one, you were given new orders- stay behind, hold them off long enough to let the others escape. You knew if you asked questions they’d probably just shoot you, so you just nodded, and headed back down the hallway you came from to fight off whoever was attacking, knowing whoever it is was either going to be your victim, or your executioner. You hoped the latter.
As you turned the corner, you saw unfamiliar faces, one making arrests, another coming out from searching a room and turn to face you. His eyes met yours through his blue mask, and for a second you swore he was familiar, and neither of your moved. However, the second he took a step towards you, you set your arms on fire, pointing one at him. However, before you could project the fire, a red headed woman appeared from behind him and took a shot at you, hitting you in your shoulder, before another shot hit you in the side, breaking your concentration, and the flames began to burn you instead as you yelled in pain, clutching your arms to your chest as they finally extinguished, and you tried to ignore the pain in your arms to focus on your wound in your stomach. You looked up, seeing the man approaching you quickly. “Stay away from me!” You yelled at him.
“I’m not going to hurt you.” He told you firmly as he stopped in front of you, pressing his hand on your shoulder wound making you cry out before you tried to gather yourself. “Cooperate with us, okay? What’s your name?” He asked. You glared up at him, heaving with pain. “I know for a fact that you’re not here on your own accord, so drop the act and we’ll help you, okay? What’s your name?” He said. You clenched your jaw.
“I don’t know.” You answered, trying to sound strong and bold still despite your situation, but your voice wavered and shook like a scared child. You saw his expression soften a little. “Now will you stop touching me? When I’m in a lot of pain, I can lose control of the fire.” You warned, seeing him frown, his eyes looking at your scarred and now badly burned arms.
“Not until we have your wounds tended to. We’ll get you some pain control, come on.” He pulled you along, passed the woman who shot you, and several others till you were outside, and you were moved onto a jet with the man. “I’m Steve Rogers.” He finally introduced himself as he got you seated, and you just nodded, trying to focus on not setting this machine, run by flammable fuel, on fire by accident. A medic came over, injecting you with something that eventually made the pain a little more bearable, injecting around your bullet wounds as well before they worked on them. Able to actually think, you looked around and assessed your situation, and you seemed to process that this whole thing was… odd. Why were you not in cuffs? Why did they shoot you twice then get you immediate medical care and pain control? Why was this man, who had now took his helmet off to show a blonde man underneath, being so caring and remaining by your side? You turned to the man, who sent you a reassuring smile, patting your good shoulder gently, before you felt yourself become drowsy, realising that whatever the medic had given you, was a lot more than a painkiller- it was also a sedative.
“You bitch.” You slurred at Steve, slumping in your seat a little, before your eyes grew heavy. You faintly heard him apologising but promising it’ll be okay. You didn’t believe him.
When you regained consciousness, you didn’t move for a minute. You didn’t open your eyes, try to shift or move in the slightest. It was a force of habit to try and eavesdrop on anyone nearby, and you got lucky. “Why didn’t you ever bring it up?” You heard a woman’s voice ask. She was a few feet away you deemed from her voice.
“It’s not exactly an easy conversation, and not something I’ve wanted to talk about.” You recognised the new voice, which was in front of you and pretty close, as Steve. “I did my own research, and I found nothing after a certain point, so I just presumed the worst and didn’t want to think about it or speculate what happened, it was too painful.” He explained to the woman.
“The time it happened as well didn’t help either.” Another male voice spoke up, this one behind you, and you felt yourself go tense for a moment from the surprise, and also from not liking the idea of someone behind you, and realising you were now surrounded and outmanned. “Documents were destroyed, even now there’s so many people, including civilians, who are deemed missing from that time, and we’ll never know how many were totally fine and we just lost documentation of them, and who had tragic ends… he’s slipped through the cracks.” The voice continued. There was silence in the room, and you remained still. “Steve… if I had known he was in there-”
“There was nothing you could have done, Buck. You were brainwashed and it was totally out of your control. Even if at any point you saw him and recognised him, you would have had your memories wiped the second they realised something was wrong.” Steve interrupted him. Now you weren’t an idiot, you realised that you were the centre of their conversation, and the man behind you, was at some point in your group you were with. You thought about it long and hard, especially about their comments on ‘slipping through the cracks’ and Steve seemingly looking for you at some point… Steve knew you, though you didn’t know him.
“Speaking of brainwashing, are we sure that he’s not going to wake up swinging? We have restraints…” The woman spoke up.
“No restraints, that’s final Nat. He’s had his memory wiped at best, since he doesn’t even know his name, but if he was brainwashed, he would have fought back a lot harder, and he sure as hell wouldn’t have warned me not to touch him because he can lose control when he’s in pain.” Steve responded sternly. It was at this point that you decided that it was time to ‘wake up’. You shuffled a little in your sleep, the room going dead silent as you opened your eyes. In front of you, as you predicted, you saw Steve sat in a seat beside your bedside, and across the room, you saw the red haired woman who had shot you, her arms crossed. You stared at her, not saying anything. Steve leaned down, interrupting your line of sight, and smiled at you to distract you. “Welcome back, kiddo. You feeling a little better?” He asked you. You remembered your wounds- the gunshots, the burns… you sat up in bed, feeling where you were shot in the side, and while it hurt quite a bit, you felt the bandaging and the pain was mostly dull now. You checked your shoulder, finding the same, and then you looked at your arms, fully bandaged. “We’re flying in the best doctor we have who can make fresh injuries and even scars practically invisible.” He explained, and as you did so, you glanced to your other side, seeing the other man leaning forward in his own chair, who had brown hair, and a metal arm. He nervously smiled at you, clearly anxious to be there. You didn’t recognise him, and he seemed to recognise that, and either calmed down or deflated. You couldn’t tell.
“Where am I?” You asked, turning back to Steve.
“You’re in New York on our base.” He explained to you. “You’re safe.”
“You sedated me.” You pointed out. “And stuck me in a room with the woman who shot me.” Steve winced to himself, and you focussed back on ‘Nat’, who raised an eyebrow at you. “Here to make sure I behave?” You asked her. She smirked at you, walking over, offering her hand to you.
“I’m Natasha Romanoff, as long as you don’t try and set me on fire, I’m sure we’ll get over that little bump and become good friends.” She said, You hesitantly shook her hand, before she stepped back. “I’ll leave you two to explain everything, I’m sure he wants answers to the conversation we were having a moment ago.” She said, before turning and leaving. Steve looked at her confused, before turning to you.
“You were awake? How much did you hear?”
“I know you somehow know me, and I know he was at some point with… them.” You commented, turning to the man opposite, who tensed a little, before standing up, grabbing his chair, and carrying it around to sit next to Steve. “I want answers. Now. Who are you?”
Steve and the man who you now knew as James, had done as told, answering your questions fully and to the best of their ability, and it very quickly became overwhelming and daunting for you. They sat and told you that your name was Y/N Rogers, Steve was your older brother, and you were actually born in 1943. In 1945, James, who was Uncle Bucky to you back then, fell off a train and was found and kidnapped by HYDRA, and Steve crashed a plane before the end of the war, freezing in ice for several decades. HYDRA were the group, who at some point after your brother’s ‘death’, kidnapped you under the radar and did their experiments on you to give you your powers, and while that was happening to you, James was being tortured, brainwashed and had his memory wiped, and you were both frozen repeatedly over time. Eventually Steve was found and unfrozen, James was able to escape several years ago, they reunited and joined a group called the Avengers, and the Avengers were enemy number 1 to HYDRA, which is why they were attacking the base. Steve didn’t realise you were his little brother until they ran a DNA test to try and locate any family and find out your identity while you were sedated.
Being told things about yourself that you didn’t know was understandably daunting, and after dropping everything in your lap, answering any other questions you had- like other family and what happened to them, and asking if they’d forgive you if you did bad things for HYDRA. Steve tried to get you to elaborate, but it was at that point you shut down. Bucky convinced him to leave. Soon the doctor he told you about arrived, and she silently fixed you up though you refused to go into the strange machine that she promised you would get rid of your scars, so when she was done, you were escorted to a small bedroom, where you locked yourself away and just tried to process everything.
You hadn’t realised until now, that part of what made what you did in HYDRA just bearable, was that the people around you didn’t judge you for what you did, because they encouraged and participated. Now you had a big brother, his best friend who had been in HYDRA and had an idea of what kind of thing you could have done, surrounded by ‘the good guys’, and now the idea of them knowing what you’ve done, being disappointed, being disgusted, fully capable and justified in killing you for what you’ve done was terrifying to you. You couldn’t bare to look your older brother in the eyes and tell him what you did.
A knock on the door made you tense. Steve, Bucky, some other people including Natasha had tried to talk to you, but you had totally blanked them. You just presumed it was one of them, before the door opened, and you turned and saw… a boy? He was about your age, and he awkwardly smiled and waved, stepping in, and closing the door behind him. “Hi, I’m Peter.” He greeted. You didn’t say anything, and he awkwardly walked over, referencing a part of the bed that was empty, and when you didn’t respond, he hesitantly sat down. “Mr Stark said that you’re Mr Roger’s brother and told me to talk to you… I didn’t know Mr Rogers had a brother.” He explained. You sat up cautiously and turned to look at him, and he saw some of the scars on your neck and side of you face, and he frowned. “What happened?” He asked. You looked down at your hands, bandages now removed, showing your new burns that were finally starting to heal.
“When I break focus… the flames burn me.” You muttered. You don’t know why you were talking to him- maybe because he wasn’t exactly a friend of your brother, maybe because he was your age. You looked back at him, and he frowned for a moment, before he shuffled a little closer.
“You have powers? Pyrokinesis?” He asked, and you nodded. “I have powers too… I was bit by a radioactive spider, and now I can stick to stuff and I can like… sense things. Mr Stark calls it my Spidey sense.” He explained. The whole idea sounded strange, but then again you guessed having fire powers was strange. “I make my own webbing, and I shoot it out of this thing on my wrist, see?” He asked, showing the contraption around his wrist.
“When you say you make your own webbing…?” You inquired, and you saw him get flustered, before elaborating he meant in a lab. It made you smile. An actual genuine smile.
Peter sat and just talked with you- he did most of the talking, going off into rambles due to nervousness, but eventually he calmed down enough to just talk. He got you to open up a little, explaining what Steve had told you, what happened to you in HYDRA, how you came to be here now.
“So they just dumped all that on you? That’s a lot.” He sympathised.
“That’s not why I’m not talking to him.” You told him. He looked at you confused, and you sighed. “Peter… when I was 12, they took me on my first mission, and they… they made me do something really bad. And after that, whenever they told me to do anything- destroy evidence of what they or I had done, I did it, because one time I asked questions and they made me suffer for it… and I don’t want Steve to hate me for being a bad person.” You told him.
“... You were in HYDRA for as long as you can remember, right?” He asked. You nodded. “You knew nothing about anything outside of HYDRA, that they were the bad guys until after that… mission, right?” He asked, and once again, you nodded. “And when you realised, you asked questions, and they hurt you badly, right?”
“Yeah… they tortured me for a week.” You confirmed, and he froze at that, before swallowing and nodding.
“And that scared you into just doing what they said because you were scared of what they’d do next time?” He asked, and you nodded. “Then it’s not your fault. You were pressured and forced to do it. It was to keep yourself as safe as possible in that situation, Steve will understand.” He assured. You shook your head.
“Peter… they made me burn down a barn full of people. An entire village of people. I heard them screaming, and I killed them. To this day, I don’t know why they made me do that, what the purpose was. Afterwards they treated me like one of them, like I was part of their team… I’m one of them, even if I don’t want to be.”
“That’s not true, Y/N! Listen- Bucky was a part of HYDRA, he did a ton of bad stuff, he was brainwashed and had his memory wiped and was tortured all the time. He's guilty about what happened, but he’s not responsible, that was all HYDRA! HYDRA made him do it, they made you do it. If you hadn't done it, they would have done to you what they did to Bucky. I know that for certain. Steve will know that. Bucky will know that. We all know that.” He reassured you. “Listen… just talk to him, okay? Steve found Bucky a great therapist, I’m sure he could find you help too. He’s not going to be angry at you- maybe at HYDRA for what they’ve done, but not you.”
You sniffed, fumbling with the bedsheets between your fingers. “You promise?” You asked, glancing up at him, and he smiled confidently and nodded. “Can you go find him for me?” You asked. He grinned, nodding, getting off the bed, promising to be right back.
Peter stepped out your room, closing the door behind him, before turning to walk down the hallway, immediately stopping when he saw Steve sat slumped on floor just outside your room. “Mr Rogers? How long have you been out here?” Peter asked in a startled whisper. Steve looked up at him with red eyes.
“Long enough to know my little brother needs me a lot more than I realised.” He answered, keeping his voice low. Peter frowned.
“He… wants to tell you himself.”
“I know… give me a few minutes to pull myself together, okay?” He asked, Peter nodding as Steve wiped his eyes, pulling himself up, and pulling himself together. “Thank you for being there for them, Peter. I really appreciate it. They’re going to need some help getting used to everything in the modern world, mind helping them out with that?”
“Not at all, sir.” Peter smiled and nodded, before making his leave. Steve took one last big sigh, before walking over, knocking, and letting himself in.
“Hey kiddo, Peter said you wanted to talk to me?
Hope you like it! If you have any questions, please send them in!

So, I'm not a prisoner?

a/n: I wanted to do a fic like this for so long!!!! anyway, I just kept scouting tumblr trying to find fics like this, so I figured I’d finally write one myself :)
You do not have my permission to repost, copy or translate my work
 |——————————— ⴵ ———————————|
A quick in and out. That was your mission. How on earth did you manage to screw it up so bad. In and out. Assassinate the traitor and come right back.
Dreykov would’ve been so proud.
But that didn’t happen. No. Every single aspect about that night failed to go according to plan. You snuck into the event Stark had hosted, was able to blend in with the other party goers, and you were able to hide when most of the people started to leave.
Once it was just the Avengers left, you stayed in your hiding spot, observing them. You were here to kill Natasha Romanoff, and Natasha Romanoff only.
You could not afford any casualties, so you had it all planned out.
You’d wait until the Avengers would leave, and you’d take Natasha out before she could make it to her living quarters. You knew that once she made it to the living space of the Avengers tower, getting to her would be a lot harder.
However, against all odds, Natasha excused herself from the group quite early, saying she wanted to get a good nights sleep.
You internally cursed yourself, hating that this wasn’t something that you had planned for.
Around the couches were still some Avengers sat. You recognised all of them. Clint Barton shouldn’t be too much trouble. He was only a guy who’s good with a bow. For Maria Hill could be said the same thing, except she’s very skilled with a gun.
No, you were worried about the other Avengers still seated. Tony Stark could call upon his armour in mere seconds. Thor had the power of thunder for god’s sake. Wanda Maximoff has exceptional powers, and therefor, if you were to attack with her still in the room, you’d be immobilised in an instant.
You were fairly certain you didn’t need to worry much about Bruce Banner. Sure, he could turn into the Hulk, but he didn’t turn often, and lately, the Hulk hasn’t been spotted in the battlefield, meaning he probably had many trouble turning into him.
Pietro Maximoff shouldn’t bring you a lot of trouble either.
Your main concern were Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers. One Super Soldier you could handle, but two? While fighting the rest of the Avengers? That wasn’t going to work.
Lucky for you, Wanda Maximoff had excused herself from the gathering a while ago. If you didn’t make to much noise, she wouldn’t be much of a problem. You could be outside before she’d even make it to the party deck.
Your original plan was to just wait. Natasha Romanoff would have usually sat through a party until far into the evening. You’d know, you’ve been watching her for weeks.
However, now that Romanoff has announced she was returning to her bedroom, a slight panic ran through your body.
Dreykov gave your 5 weeks to finish this assignment. That’s longer than any assignment you’d ever been on. You could not disappoint him with this. You had to kill the traitor.
You figured now was your only chance, and so, as Natasha Romanoff made her way towards the elevator, you followed her.
However, not even to your surprise, she stopped in the middle of the hallway.
“You know I’m an assassin, too? You’re good, but you’re not un noticeable,” she states, calmly turning around, being met with a gun to your face. The moment she stopped, you were wise enough to draw your gun, holding her at gunpoint for any sudden movements.
You could see a slight surprise appear on her face, before her face returned to her poker face once again.
“You’re just a child…” Natasha spoke slowly, seeming almost disappointed.
“You’re a traitor,” you spoke, loading the gun, taking a step closer. Natasha simply shook her head. “I’m sorry,” she spoke, before leaping towards you. You shot your gun, but Natasha was too fast, avoiding your gunfire as she ran past you, back to the other Avengers.
How on earth could you have missed that shot? She was right there.
Pathetic.
You don’t hesitate to run after her, determined to finish this tonight.
Very much not to your surprise, the moment you run back into the party hall, the Avengers are already standing up and ready. Ready to fight you.
You don’t hesitate to move forwards, and after fighting Clint Barton for mere seconds, you quickly realise they have no intention of hurting you. You could use that to your advantage, and you do.
You kick Barton hard, leaving him on the floor, heaving for air as you move forward, taking on Maria.
However, the moment you get close to Maria, two strong arms wrap around your body, pulling you back. They’re holding you tightly, and it doesn’t feel like they’re planning to let go.
You struggle in the hold, fighting against who ever is holding you as you try to break free. A small panic runs through your body. The fear of being captured by the Avengers taking place in your mind. You do not fear the Avengers, but the thought of being seen as a traitor by Dreykov hurts your heart more than words could describe.
“Stop struggling. We can help you,” you hear a voice behind you speak, and you soon come to realise the person you’re fighting is Captain America himself.
No wonder you couldn’t get loose.
Knowing it’s a Super Soldier, you’re quick to outsmart him, making him think you’re getting tired, relaxing your body is his hold. Because of this, the Captain lightens his grip a bit, giving you enough room to wiggle your arm free, moving it backwards to hit him in the face with your elbow.
Because of the surprise, he lets you go, allowing you to stand again.
The moment your feet hit the ground, you dash forward, holding up your knife as you use everyone’s shock to your advantage.
Everyone is surprised by your capability of escaping Steve’s grasp, not realising your already moving towards Natasha again. You reach her quickly, stabbing your knife into her stomach as far as it can go.
Natasha gasps, and you pull the knife out, watching as all the blood starts to seep from her stomach.
Slowly, Natasha sinks to the ground, Maria catching her, helping her down.
You move towards Natasha again, determined to get the job finished, but are quickly stopped by another pair of arms wrapping around your waist. You immediately recognise the metal arm, knowing that the Winter Soldier holds you in his grasp. You can’t escape him. You never have.
He pulls you backwards, pushing you to the ground as he tries to punch you. However, you regain yourself quickly, rolling away from under him and kicking him in the face.
Suddenly, you’re moved across the room. You forgot the damn speedster…
You raise your knife quickly, stabbing him before he has a chance to make another move.
“PIETRO!” you hear a voice yell, and you turn your head to the right. Shit. Wanda Maximoff must have heard the commotion and went down to take a look. You have to get out of there. You will never win a fight with her.
You move quickly, running towards the stairs. However, before you could reach them, you felt a stabbing pain in your left shoulder, the sound of a gun shot following soon after. You had been shot. Bucky Barnes had shot you in an attempt to slow you down.
But you didn’t let it.
Instead, you went towards the stairs a little quicker, dashing down the hundreds of flights of stairs to get to the main floor.
Of course, all SHIELD agents on the main floor were already expecting you, and you were followed by Steve Rogers, but you were quicker than him. You knew that.
You dashed past all the SHIELD agents, avoiding their gun fire as you made it towards an emergency exit.
The moment you stepped outside, you started your escape route. You already planned it, knowing exactly which way to go, no matter which way you would exit.
Steve followed you outside, but the moment he set foot outside the door, you were gone. You had disappeared into the night, leaving no trace.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Back in the Avengers tower, the team was recovering from your attack. Natasha was in bad shape. Your strike had been an attempt to murder her, and you didn’t miss any organs as you pierced your blade through her abdomen.
Pietro was much better. He was back on his feet quickly, seeing as though you stabbing him hadn’t been a murder attempt. You merely wanted to distract him.
It didn’t take long for Natasha to get back on her feet either, even though she was advised to stay on bed rest after the surgery.
Natasha was determined to find you, and she quickly got to work.
Even though you had made it out of the Avengers tower quickly, you were still hurt, and some of you blood had fallen on the floor as you made your escape towards the stairs. Clint and Maria had collected that blood, running multiple tests, only to find out you were not registered anywhere.
There was no record of your existence. Were you just another ghost story?
What they did find were traces of the Super Soldier serum. However, they were modified, almost as if they were genetically a part of your system.
Did that mean you were just another Hydra experiment? Natasha did hear you calling her a traitor. That had to mean you knew Dreykov, right? Who else viewed her as a traitor. I would make sense. Sending a modified teenage assassin after her, knowing Natasha was above killing children.
Even in the Red Room, she always hesitated when sparring against the younger students.
Dreykov must have had a lot of faith in you to send you after her. Natasha can only hope you’re not a graduate yet…
-------------------------------------------------------------
After the incident in the Avengers tower, you had fled to Germany. You figured it was best to leave the United States completely. And why would they ever search for you in Germany?
You had rented an apartment, loving the small town you had chosen. Dreykov had given you 5 weeks to finish the assignment, and now, you had only 1 week left. There is now way that you’re going to succeed in killing Natasha within the week.
They know you are after her now, and they will be prepared for you to make a return. You screwed it up.
Sloppy.
Right now, you were just heading back to your apartment. You had taken a walk, deciding to make the most out of the freedom you had in the moment. The week would be over soon, and the moment Dreykov would send for your return you are certain you will not be seeing daylight any time soon.
After you arrived in the apartment building, you instantly felt watched.
Had the Avengers found you?
You made your way up to your apartment, pushing the key into the lock and walking through the small hallway. Someone was in here, you could feel it.
You walked into the kitchen, grabbing a glass and filling it with water, keeping your back towards the living room.
“There are not a lot of places to hide in this apartment,” you spoke aloud into the emptiness of the apartment. Soon you heard a set of footsteps, and you felt another presence enter the room.
“You’re very skilled for your age,” you heard a voice behind you say, and you immediately recognised it as Natasha’s.
“And you are stronger than you look. I mean, even for you, I didn’t expect you to be on your feet so quickly,” you stated, turning around slowly. Natasha wasn’t holding a weapon in your face, something you were definitely expecting.
You scanned her quickly, seeing the weapons she held on her belt.
She didn’t come unarmed. Good. She’d be stupid to.
“I don’t mean you any harm,” Natasha said, taking a small step forward as she held her hands in the air, showing you her every movement.
You didn’t look impressed, instead just staring at her as she moved.
“Then you are a fool,” you told her, and you spotted a small smirk flashing over Natasha’s face. “And you are very full of yourself,” she said, moving towards the kitchen island, leaning on it.
“I can’t say I blame you. You took on a lot of the Avengers on your own. Even two Super Soldiers. That’s impressive,” she stated, giving you a small smile. You didn’t return it.
“What? Jealous someone better took your place when you betrayed us,” you asked Natasha, determined to get on her nerves.
Natasha’s smile dropped quickly.
“Quite the opposite, actually. I hoped no one would ever have to go through it again,” she told you, a hint of regret almost identifiable in her expression. Now it was your time to give her a small smile.
“You think you’re so important that everything should’ve ended with you?” you asked her, moving towards the kitchen island as well, setting your glass down, still holding onto it.
Natasha shook her head.
“What I am curious about, however, is the genetic Super Soldier serum that runs through your DNA,” Natasha paused, adjusting her stance before speaking again. “Tell me, was your dad a Super Soldier?”
You let out a huff of amusement, surprising Natasha.
“You think I believe you’re just here for a conversation? There are SHIELD agents placed on every corner of every street. Don’t think I didn’t notice it. The lovely young couple, drinking coffee at the restaurant downstairs? Amazing disguise, if you were trying to trick nine year olds,” you stated, finishing your glass of water.
Natasha smiles, clearly impressed with your observations.
“You’re right. I’m not here for just a conversation, although I do hope we can prevent violence,” Natasha started, but before she could continue you interrupted her.
“You’re here to bring me in.”
Natasha nodded, and the look on her face was almost apologetic.
“No one needs to get hurt. If you just come with me, there’s a big chance you could avoid confinement,” Natasha explained, yet you just scoffed and shook your head.
“Avoid confinement? Yeah right. There is no way, that after what I have done, your people won’t lock me away.”
“I can be very persuasive,” Natasha simply replied.
There was a small silence. Natasha knew you were debating your options. You didn’t seem like a brainwashed sheep. She knew that you knew better than trusting Dreykov’s lies. Sure, you still believed she was a traitor, but there is no way that you didn’t see that what Dreykov is doing is wrong.
“You know going back after a failed mission will result in punishment,” Natasha started, trying to get through to you. Trying to give you that little push you needed to go with her. “If you go with me, you’ll never be punished like that ever again,” she finished.
You looked up, deep in thought.
“How could you be so sure?” you asked her, and Natasha didn’t hesitate to respond.
“We can keep you safe-”
“I found you. I nearly killed you. Who’s to say some other Widow won’t come after me as well?” you replied, and Natasha gave you another small smile.
“I escaped the Red Room when I was 20,” Natasha started. “It took him 12 years to send someone after me. We will make sure we’ll take him down before he even has the chance to come after you.”
“How many times, did you try to kill him, exactly? Because I believe you attempted his murder twice already, both of which you failed. You blew him up in Budapest, and then another time when you took the air facility down. Do you honestly think you’ll succeed now?”
Natasha shook her head, seemingly recollecting her thoughts.
“I failed twice, and that was sloppy, but both times I didn’t have the Avengers on my side. You ran the moment you saw Wanda. You know what she is capable of. Taking down the Red Room for good shouldn’t be too difficult with the Avengers on our side,” Natasha explained, yet you just shook your head.
“I’m not like you,” you told her, yet Natasha just looked at you in confusion.
“I’m not some disposable widow like you were. I’m more important,” you explained, and Natasha gave you a sad smile.
“Everyone is just a disposable widow to him,” she started, but you interrupted her.
“I’m not. You tested my blood. You know I carry the Super Soldier serum. I’m not just some girl he picked up from the streets,” you explained, and Natasha gave you a small nod, encouraging to keep going.
“I can’t explain it, but he won’t just let me walk. He put too much time in my creation. He would never just let it go to waste,” you finished, looking down, avoiding Natasha’s gaze as you turned around, putting your glass by the sink.
“We’ll help you. I know that we can,” Natasha tried.
“Is it worth the risk? My life is not great, but it’s not terrible either. Dreykov values me, and I am not treated like a piece of meat, unlike you might suspect.”
“So the punishment is worth it, then? Knowing that in three days time, Dreykov will have you be recollected, and once you return to the Red Room, you’ll be punished severely for a failed mission,” Natasha paused, allowing you to let her words sink in.
“Or, in three days time, you could know you can go to bed without worrying about someone joining. You could know you can be safe, and sleep through the night without anyone disrupting you. Knowing that, is the choice really that hard?” Natasha finished, and you were almost at your breaking point.
Was it worth it? Was going back the best decision? Dreykov would hurt you, you knew that, but you deserved it. Didn’t you?
“Please, just come with me. We can help,” Natasha spoke, nearly begged.
You sighed deeply.
“Fine, but if you put me in a cell, I will go on a murder streak,” you told her, and Natasha let out a chuckle, before seeing your facial expression, and realising you were dead serious.
“Duly noted,” Natasha said, before motioning you towards the door.
What had you done…

Grocery Store Shenanigans
Summary: You go with Natasha and Yelena to the grocery store after a little convincing. What you thought would be a boring day turned into a day full of laughter and surprises. Natasha x Yelena x teenReader!
Note: This was just an idea that came into my head last night, so I decided to write it out!
Warnings: There is a small part where foods are referenced to in a dirty way
Word Count: 2200
-------------------------------------------------------
As the newest member of the Avenger family, you were like the little sister that everyone always wanted. You had grown especially close with Natasha and Yelena. They were the perfect big sisters. Always there to protect, and always there to tickle you. It was the perfect combo.
You were sitting on the couch reading, when Yelena came up and approached you.
“Come on Y/N, Natasha and I are going grocery shopping and you’re coming with us!” Yelena said, smirking at your reaction.
You groaned while facepalming and closing your book.
“Why do I have to go shopping with you guys? It’s not even fun shopping. Why can’t I stay home?” You asked, glaring slightly.
“Because we want to spend time with you, and it’s a great way to annoy you,” Natasha said, entering the room and throwing your coat on you.
You yanked it off in annoyance, messing your hair up, much to their amusement.
“Stop laughing at me,” you pouted.
“Then get up and fix your hair and put on your coat,” Yelena said, still giggling at your state.
“Make me,” you said, throwing your coat on the ground and standing up to face the blonde.
“Make you?” Make you go grocery shopping with us? Sure, Y/N!” Yelena said, tackling you back on the couch and calling Natasha over to tickle you to pieces.
Yelena held your arms over your head while Natasha came over to sit on your waist.
“No no no, please! Don’t do it!” You cried, already squirming and giggling in anticipation.
Oh it’s too late for that now,” Natasha said, smirking down at you. With that, she spidered her fingers all over your sides and stomach, causing you to burst into giggles.
“Nohohohohoho stahahahahap ihihihi dihihihidn’t dohohohohoho ahahahanythihihing,” you giggled out.
“Except be a brat and practically beg for us to tickle you to pieces,” Yelena said, reaching down with one hand to tickle your underarms.
“HAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHOHOT THEHEHEHERE,” you laughed, unable to squirm or get away.
Natasha was now placing quick pokes over the front of your ribs, a spot she knew you couldn’t stand. Much to her expectation, the words that came out of your mouth were no surprise to her.
“OHOHOKAHAY STAHAHAHAP PLEHEHEHEASE IHIHIHIHI CAHAHANT STAHAHAHAND IHIHIT,” you squealed, shutting your eyes tight and waiting for the torture to be over.
“Are you gonna come grocery shopping with us?” Yelena asked, tickling lightly under your chin.
“YEHEHEHES STAHAHAHAP,” you shouted, as the two older girls ceased their tickling, allowing you to curl up and catch your breath.
“Wow all that over going grocery shopping?” Yelena asked, grinning down at your flushed cheeks.
You merely rolled your eyes, now too exhausted to even get up, never mind go out and walk around.
“Get up Y/N, or do we have to go for round two?” Natasha threatened, coming over and wiggling her fingers above you.
“AAAAAAHHH NO,” you screamed out, quickly sitting upright while the two girls laughed at your reaction.
“I didn’t even touch you,” Natasha said while giggling.
“Whatever,” you said, putting your coat on and finally getting into the car.
“Kids in the back,” Natasha ordered, looking at both you and Yelena.
“Hey I’m not a child!” Yelena exclaimed, quickly trying to pull at the front door handle, a split second too late after Natasha locked it with her keys.
Natasha smirked triumphantly, holding the keys just out of Yelena’s reach.
The blonde began to reach out and grab for the keys to unlock the door, as Natasha laughed and continued holding it out of her reach.
You watched from the side, knowing better than to get involved. Being a teen, you were technically still a child so you weren’t about to start a fight you couldn’t win.
Faster than light, Natasha reached out to quickly squeeze Yelena’s side, causing the blonde to yelp and pull her arm down.
“You jerk! I’m not letting go of this car handle until you unlock it!” Yelena said, turning her chin up to her sister.
“Oh really?” Natasha questioned, shoving both her hands into Yelena’s armpits, causing the blonde to shriek and pull away.
“OK OK IHIHIHI GIHIHIHIVE,” the blonde yelled, crumpling to the ground.
“Now get up and sit in the back like a good child,” Natasha said, smiling as the blonde griped to herself.
You were already sitting in the back, behind the passenger seat. The blonde entered through the other side, glaring at you as you giggled.
“Wow you gave in faster than I did,” you smirked at her.
“Shut up,” the blonde responded, while pouting and crossing her arms.
Natasha now got in and drove you guys to the grocery store. For the most part, you guys chatted about whatever came up. Eventually, it was silent and you started feeling mischievous.
The blonde was looking out the window, so she wasn’t paying attention. You reached over and began to jellyfish her knees. The blonde jerked her leg away, while pushing at your hands.
“Y/N stop it right now!” Yelena said, trying to contain her giggles.
“GAH!” You cried out, as the blonde retaliated by jabbing you in the ribs.
The blonde then went for the kill, sneaking her hand up your shirt to tickle your bare back.
You jerked and squirmed wildly, knowing that she had you beat.
“YELEHEHEHENAHAHA STAHAHAHAHAP,” you whined, not expecting this to be the way it went.
“Never,” the blonde replied, amused at your crazy laughter and violent squirming.
“Can you two go five minutes without causing chaos?” Natasha asked, as you guys finally arrived at the store.
“I’m free!” You cried, quickly undoing your seatbelt and running away from Yelena.
“That will teach you,” the blonde said, as you huffed.
The three of you walked around various aisles, looking for many items, as the fridge was pretty much empty at this point.
“Let’s go to the mac and cheese aisle,” Yelena suggested.
“There’s no such thing as a mac and cheese aisle,” you argued.
“Why not? It’s the best food on the planet? How could they not dedicate an entire aisle, or even store to it?” Natasha said, sarcastically.
“See?!?! Natasha agrees—,” the blonde stopped quickly, realizing that Natasha was just messing with her.
“YOU!” Yelena shouted, charging at the redhead.
Natasha defended herself easily, knowing all of Yelena’s go-to fight moves.
“No creating a ruckus at the grocery store, little one,” Natasha reminded the blonde.
You guys continued walking around, as Yelena quickly pulled you aside while in the produce section.
“Let’s get revenge on Natasha. She’s been winning all day and we can’t have that,” Yelena explained.
“But won’t we get in trouble?” You questioned, wondering if maybe Yelena liked being tickled as much as you did.
“It’s fine, it’s two against one. We can beat her,” the blonde assured you.
“Well, okay. But if this thing goes south it’s on you,” you warned the blonde, as she messed up your hair before whispering the plan to you.
…….
“Natasha we need eggplant, lots and lots of eggplant,” Yelena shouted, dumping ten eggplants into the cart.
“Yelena, since when do you eat eggplant?” Natasha said with a quizzical look.
“I love the shape,” Yelena merely said, before running off to find other stuff to put in the cart.
You came over a few moments later, dropping some watermelons in the cart.
“Mama needs some good melons,” you said, plopping them down.
You avoided eye contact with the redhead, knowing that you would start laughing at any minute.
The redhead shook her head, knowing what you two were up to.
The blonde came back with pickles now, as the redhead snatched the jar from her.
“And since when did you eat pickles?” Natasha asked, raising an eyebrow at the younger girl.
“I like the juice that comes from it,” Yelena said, as if it was obvious.
The blonde tried to take off after that, knowing that Natasha knew what you two were up to. Before she could, the redhead grabbed the back of her sister’s neck, causing the blonde to snort and giggle, while desperately trying to get away.
“Nope, you’re not going anywhere. Not until your little partner comes back,” Natasha said, as Yelena continued to suffer.
You came back with a handful of peaches, seeing the torture that Yelena was going through.
“Y/N sahahahahave mehehehehehe,” Yelena giggled, scrunching her shoulders up while giggling hysterically.
“Y/N, return the peaches back to where they came from. We both know you two don’t eat peaches,” Natasha warned, giving you ‘the look.’
You knew you were already in trouble with Natasha, so putting the peaches back wouldn’t do anything. You decided to have a little more fun before you would be absolutely wrecked.
You put the peaches in the cart, looking straight into Natasha’s eyes.
“These peaches look really juicy, if you know what I mean,” you said, shooting a wink at the redhead.
“That’s it,” Natasha said, grabbing both of you and pinning you two to the ground.
“NO NATASHA NOT IN PUBLIC,” you yelled, not realizing that you were already making a scene.
“Eh, you’ll be fine,” Natasha replied, using one hand for each of your bellies. She shook her hands into your stomachs, causing you two to belly laugh.
“NATAHAHAHAHASHA PLEHEHEHEASE,” you begged, as Yelena was busy trying to kick her sister away.
Natasha just used her hand to squeeze Yelena’s knee, causing the blonde to cackle with laughter.
Natasha felt bad, as she had already wrecked you earlier, and knew that Yelena was definitely the ringleader of these shenanigans. So she let you up, much to your relief.
“Now Y/N, you come here and help me tickle Yelena to pieces, okay? Unless you want to be tickled again,” Natasha warned, after you had a moment of hesitation.
“Okay fine I’ll help,” you quickly agreed.
“Y/N, don’t you dare!” Yelena cried, as Natasha began to tickle her ribs and you went down to get her feet. At this point, you guys didn’t care who was staring. This was more important than a few weird looks.
“NOHOHOHOHO HAHAHAHAHAHA LEHEHEHET MEHEHEHEE GOHOHOHO,” Yelena cried out, as Natasha just shook her head.
“I know you roped Y/N into going along with your jokes,” Natasha said, as the blonde just scrunched her nose up and continued laughing.
You continued tickling her feet, making sure to get her toes, which earned you a loud scream of laughter.
Natasha lightly tickled her sides, asking if she had given up yet.
“Yehehehehes plehehehehease nohohohoho mohohohore,” Yelena breathlessly giggled.
“What do you think, Y/N? Should we let her go?” The redhead asked you.
“Y/N ahahaha ihihif you dohohont stahahahap I’ll gehehet you a thousahahahand tihihimes worse!” the blonde barely managed to get out.
“Okay fine, I’ll be nice,” you said, letting the blonde up.
After the blonde caught her breath, you three finally resumed shopping, now getting all the things you needed and nothing extra. Well, maybe a pack of Oreos or two that you and Yelena had snuck in.
The three of you got back into the car, as you were exhausted and now wanted to go straight home.
“Alright, Y/N, we have one more stop to make,” Natasha said, looking in the rearview mirror.
“What? I thought you said we were just going grocery shopping,” you groaned.
“Don’t worry Y/N, I think you’ll like this,” Natasha said smiling.
You rode in the car with high suspicions, until you guys finally arrived.
“Here we are, Y/N!” Natasha announced.
“The shoe store? For what?” You asked.
“To get the pair of shoes you wanted!” Yelena said, as a big smile spread across your face.
“Really?!?” You exclaimed, quickly getting out of the car.
You three went inside and found the pair of shoes you had been wanting.
“Wow, these are amazing! Thank you guys so much!” You said excitedly.
“Anything for you, little one,” the two sisters said.
You tried on some different pairs, trying to find the right size and color you wanted. Meanwhile, Yelena was up to no good again.
“Natasha, you seem tired, let me massage you,” the blonde said, kneading Natasha’s shoulders. The redhead immediately scrunched up, trying to get away. Yelena knew she hated this, so it was the perfect revenge.
“YELENA! Sthahahahp ihihihit,” Natasha cried out, squirming out of her sister’s grasp.
“Take your time, Y/N! I still have a lot to do,” Yelena called out. You smiled to yourself and continued looking for the right pair.
Yelena was now full on wrecking her sister, and her laughter could be heard throughout the store. The second hand embarrassment got to you, so you quickly found the right pair and got it.
You quickly got them to leave the store, as watching someone being tickled was way more embarrassing for you. You thanked them again for the shoes and you three went home to rest. What you thought was going to be a boring day turned out to be a day full of laughs and a nice little surprise at the end. You couldn’t have asked for better big sisters.

Birthday Wish
A/n: This is an idea I got from a post on Facebook I think and well here it is.

Warning: uhm really angsty and sad and sad and really sad. Mentions of neglect of child, suicide, and death. Let me know if it should add more.
Tumblr media
It's your mom's birthday.
What would a 7-year-old give her?
You have been taking down notes of what would your mom want. The reason why the page was full of scribble is that you don't know what she wants.
Why you don't know what she wants?
Because you guys don't even hang out. Your mother somehow loves you in a different way it seems.
She often tells you to go do something else when you ask for her time. Or leave her alone so she could focus on her work. Or just don't talk to you.
It could go months or years like she forgot she have a daughter. She somehow just remembers you there when you ask for her to give you attention which by the way just seems to irritate her.
Today though you wanted her to not be pissed at you for the gift you're gonna give her. Every birthday you give her cards or cupcakes which she either throws away or burns.
But somehow no matter how you rack your small brain no ideas would come up. So for a solution, you decide to survey the team cause somehow they know your mom more than you.
Most of them said 'give her a card'. Or just 'give her a hug and wished her happy birthday' which is all you did and still pissed her off.
Until you came across Steve. Who by the way always know what to say.
"Uncle Steve?" you whispered, peeking by his office door.
"Yes," he replied in the same manner.
"How do I know what to give mama for her birthday?" you tilted your head, still outside his office to give him some privacy like you always do with your mom.
"Come here" he ushered. You timidly made your way to him your head bowing cause you were not used to people letting you in their office.
He lifted your chin for you to look him eye to eye. "Give your mama something special" he mused. "Something she always wanted and make sure the gift comes from the heart." he mused, pointing at your chest.
You pondered, furrowing your eyebrows in deep thought. And then it clicked.
"Thank you, Uncle Steve" you exclaimed, running out of his office. The man couldn't help but chuckle.
""
Something your mom always wanted was what she tells you every day. How could you be so stupid?
What she always wished for was something you never thought could make her happy. No matter how she says it, even if she changes the word and its sentence. It holds the same meaning.
You hesitated for a minute but you knew this is what she wants. It's not about you, it's about making her happy and she will never be mad at you. Anything so she wouldn't be mad right?
""
Natasha came home after her mission. Tired and drained out. She was surprised you didn't greet her at the door. She exhaled satisfyingly. You probably learned not to bother her when she's home from a mission.
Tired and worn out she slowly made her way to her room, rubbing her eyes to hopefully pry her eyes open so she could do her nightly routine before sleeping.
Opening the door she flicked the switch on to properly see where she's going.
Her eyes which were once loopy and tired were now widened at what she saw. Her mouth was agape and an audible gasp left her lips.
You were in her room.
Hanging
Natasha didn't know what to do. It seems like her world became frozen and it was your hanging body and her that was only moving.
You were pale and lifeless. Your eyes closed and somehow you look in peace.
She never moved. Never moved a single muscle. She was only moved when she was nudged by Tony also the sleep-deprived person who's always up no matter what time of the day.
Noticing the redhead and curious at what the redhead could be so scared about that she froze. He also looked up seeing your limp body.
Tony franticly called the team and instruct Friday for medical assistance. Everyone was running around in a panic. Shouting and panic rambling can be heard all around the compound. But all of it was muffled in Natasha's ear.
The team can even get a hold of her so she guided her to the bed and leaves her alone for a while.
When everyone was out a lone tear escaped her eyes and followed by a series of tears she can't control. She sobbed and wailed. And she somehow couldn't stop it no matter how she tried.
She cried until no tears were left. She stared nowhere until she saw a colorful letter on her side table. Written on it was "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"
She knew it was yours. She shakily opened it and cried once more.
Dear Mama,
Happy Birthday, mama! I know I shouldn't make a letter cause you hate it and you'll probably burn this off. But I just wanted this to be a tradition to give you a letter every birthday and since this is my last one I had to do it. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry I always make you mad mama. I didn't mean to. I'm sorry you had to take care of me like you always say. I didn't really wanna go but you have to have what you want for your birthday right? I hope this finally makes you happy mama. And I hope this also doesn't make you mad like the last gifts I gave you.
I just don't know how to make you happy mama. And this is what you always wished for and that needs to come true. Thank you for taking care of me mama. I'm sorry you had to.
I love you mama even if you don't love me back.
Your daughter,
Y/n
""
She doesn't know how to feel. Everything she said to you all replayed in her brain. Every nasty thing and every neglect. All was there.
Wishing you were never born, never alive, and wishing she killed you herself. That we're just a few of them.
All of it was the other way around.
Now she wished
It was her hanging

if you do end up writing some blurbs can you write one about an autistic reader who has to deal with exhaustion after masking all day and is comforted by natasha? it’s up to you if you want to make them mother/daughter or whatever you thinks best
also love your writing, i’m glad to see you back on here more now but please don’t feel pressured to write if you can’t :)
i haven't written in a while so i'm a little rusty haha but i tried my best <3
.oOo.
"Hon?" Your mom asks when she hears the front door open and shut, but without hearing your normal greeting. You're honestly just too exhausted and tired to speak.
You slump over to the couch, taking a seat next to Natasha. "Oh, honey" she sighs sympathetically at seeing your exhausted state. She pulls you into her side, letting you just lean against her and hold you.
"Long day, hm?" You nod. She squeezes you tight, giving you the perfect amount of pressure she knows you crave. She removes the bag from your shoulder, and you kick your shoes off as well. "Well I think tonight is a great night for a movie night, nice and relaxing, with your weighted blanket and no pressure at all to mask. I'll make us some hot cocoa, and we'll just cuddle all night. How does that sound?"
You give her a teary smile, nodding. You watch your mom with adoring and thankful eyes as she moves around the living room to get everything we need, humming under her breath happily, a small content smile on her lips. When she catches you staring at her, your eyes full of love and gratitude, she smiles even wider. She doesn't need me to say anything to understand my feelings, and just how thankful you are for her.
