────
It's currently 4:30 am, and the party has long since died down. Everybody left about two hours ago when the police showed up and kicked out all of the guests because of noise complaints, but the group had decided to stay awake and talk for an hour until Nick complained he was tired, and everybody else mumbled in agreement. They're all asleep now, besides you and Chris, the only two left downstairs.
You're bored out of your mind, sitting and staring mindlessly at the wall while Chris scrolls on his phone. Your eyes unwillingly drift over to him, your gaze comfortably settling on him on the other side of the couch. He's wearing grey sweatpants and a basic white tee, his hair messy and covering his eyes slightly where it's hanging over his forehead. You hate the feeling you get deep in youe stomach as you look at him, illuminated only by a few candles and the light from his phone screen.
Like he can feel your eyes on him, Chris then puts down his phone and turns to look at you. His blue eyes seem muted and sleepy, though there's a glint in them you can't seem to ignore.
"Wanna watch a movie?" he suggests, and you just nod. He picks up the remote and begins scrolling through Netflix. Despite yourself, you study him closely as he looks through the plethora of movies available for the two of you to watch. You suddenly feel the room getting warmer and push the fluffy blanket off of yourself.
Chris settles on a movie, not bothering to ask you if you even want to watch it on before the opening credits begin playing. You leans back against the couch, occasionally finding yourself glancing over at Chris to see his reaction to the movie. Though his face remains the same, barely even showing any signs of amusement. It's almost like his mind is completely elsewhere.
So is yours, clearly, as he's all you can focus on.
You roll your eyes at yourself and decide to start actually watching the movie. It's a stupid Adam Sandler comedy with a bunch of dumb scenes and even worse jokes, though you find yourself amused all the same.
"This movie is so dumb," you chuckle, and Chris turns around to see you, a smile on his face.
"Can't be that bad if you're laughing," he replies quickly, and you kiss your teeth. His eyes remain locked with yours and you suddenly feel nervous, so you decide to look away. You pick up your glass and take a sip of water, before leaning back with the glass still in your hand.
"Well anyway, you must be disappointed about tonight," you say to Chris, who raises an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" he asks quietly.
"Come on, Chris," you says, rolling your eyes. "I think tonight's the first time you've been at a party and not had your tongue down some girl's throat at least once."
He furrows his eyebrows and presses his lips together.
"Maybe I didn't want to," he says quietly, like he's contemplating something. It irks you though, because you realize it's the first time you've struggled to figure him out. Usually you can always tell what he's thinking, but tonight has been impossible.
"Or maybe all of the girls at school have finally realized how ugly you are," you say, your voice laced with sarcasm. Chris scoffs loudly, like it's the most outrageous thing he's ever heard.
But then, all of a sudden, he twists in your direction and places his hands on your waist, pulling you onto his lap. Chris' grip tightens, fingers brushing against your skin as he sits you down onto his crotch. Your smile falls, and Chris grins as he leans closer and whispers into your ear: "Maybe this is what I was waiting for."
You tense, barely able to move or even think as you register what is currently happening.
"That's funny," you reply, your words coming out weaker and quieter than you wanted.
"Almost as funny as you trying to convince yourself you don't want this," Chris replies instantly, as if without a thought.
The movie continues playing in the background, but neither of you are paying it any attention whatsoever. Chris is just looking at you, his hands still firmly planted on her waist. Every single word has left your mind.
"If you hate this, you can always leave," he shrugs, leaning back but keeping his hands exactly where they are. You could slap him for saying something like that when you're literally sitting on his lap and can barely even think because of it.
When you doesn't speak again, Chris just continues: "Last chance, baby," he says softly.
You don't want to leave. Heat rises to your cheeks, and his eyes darken as he looks down at you.
"I'm not going anywhere," you whisper, and Chris immediately grins before leaning forward to kiss you. It's is full of need.
He kisses you slowly, deeply, his lips pressing hard against yours as he reaches around your waist to pull you closer to him. You return the gesture, grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him even closer to you, to which Chris responds by smiling against your lips.
From there, your hands move to his neck, your skin burning hot against his as you moves further upwards, running your fingers through his hair. As you do so, Chris pulls away slightly, his chest moving up and down as he breathes heavily.
"Fuck, baby, you can't-" he pants, but you cuts him off.
"Can't what?" you grin, and he presses his tongue to the inside of his cheek, almost in disbelief at your words. His hands then trail upwards from your waist to rest on your neck, right as he leans forward to kiss you again.
You kisses him back, your lips moving in sync with each other. Your mind swirls with a million thoughts; you're now realizing how badly you want this and the fact that you've wanted it for a long while.
Chris leans back against the couch again, you leaning forward to deepen the kiss, your breath hitching slightly as he puts his hands on your waist once more. Throughout the kiss, he fiddles with the hem of your tank top, his fingers brushing lightly against you skin, making your heart beat even faster.
You decides that enough is enough and if he's going to mess with you like this, then you're allowed to do the same. His hands are still on your hips as you brings her hands back up to run through his hair, feeling the softness of it against your fingers.
Chris uses his hands to pull you closer, and you can feel your body responding to his actions as you kiss him harder. You practically melt into him as your hands now find their place on his neck by his collarbone. Unable to stop yourself, you tug his bottom lip between your teeth before kissing him again. Chris chuckles mid-kiss, and you're struggling to believe that this is actually currently happening.
Your thoughts immediately disappear when you feels his erection pressing against your core, and you can't help the grin that forms on your lips. You press herself against him, rubbing your body against his, feeling his cock throbbing against your skin.
Chris groans in response and bites your lip. You feel his hands slide down to cup your ass, squeezing gently. Then he lifts you slightly so that he can sit up straighter, with you still straddling his lap.
You rub your pussy along his cock through his pants, and he whimpers softly. You slip your hand inside his pants and finds his hard cock, stroking it slowly.
"Fuck," Chris grits out, his bottom lip caught between his teeth.
"Yeah?" you hum in response, reeling in the way he throws his head back against the couch cushion just at the sound of your voice. "You like that?"
He nods and arches his hips upward, grinding against your hand. You laugh softly and kiss him again, still stroking him.
You pull away from the kiss and slide off of him. Chris sits up and reaches for you, but you shake your head. You first pulls his shirt off over his head, tossing it to the side before leaning forward and kissing him again.
Chris moans into your mouth, his hands sliding down your sides to your hips. He lifts you slightly so that he can pull your shirt up and off of your torso.
You shiver as his fingers brush against your bare stomach. You gasp softly as he kisses your neck, his tongue darting out to taste your skin.
Before he can do anything else, you quickly move away and bend down, your eye level the same as his knees. His hard cock is bulging out of his boxers, and Chris looks down at you longingly.
"Touch me, baby, please," he begs. You grab his boxers by the waistband and pull them down, revealing his throbbing cock. You smile at him wickedly and drop to your knees, taking him into your warm mouth.
"Fuck," Chris repeats, looking up at the ceiling. "Oh God, ma."
Chris moans loudly and closes his eyes, enjoying the feel of your plump lips wrapped around him. You begin to move your head back and forth, tongue swirling around his dick. You moan softly as you suck him, your hand moving up and down his length. You glance up at him and see him watching you, his hands gripping the couch cushions tightly.
You use your hand to stroke him gently while you suck his dick. You love the sounds he makes, and you moans softly every time you take him into your mouth. Chris groans and runs his fingers through your hair, pushing you closer to him. You moan and take him deeper into your throat, your nose pressed against his stomach. He lets out a shaky breath and pushes your head further onto him. You let out a surprised sound when you feels him hit the back of your throat.
You gag slightly and pull back a little bit, but Chris holds your head there, his fingers tangling in your hair. He moans loudly and continues to fuck her face, his fingers digging into her scalp. You moan, other hand gripping his thigh as you tries not to gag. Throughout all of this, you feel yourself getting wetter with each thrust of his cock into your mouth.
You whimpers, loving how he makes you feel. Chris moans and leans back, his cock twitching as he cums into your mouth. You swallow it all, before your eyes widen in surprise as he pulls you up off of him. Chris smiles and pulls you close, kissing you hard.
He pulls away before grinning: "Your turn, ma."
Chris pushes you back against the couch, so that you're laying down before him.
He kneels between your legs and pulls your skirt up, revealing your white lace panties. Chris smiles and slides his hand into her panties, feeling her wetness.
"So wet," he muses. "Is this all for me, baby?"
"All for you, asshole," you reply breathlessly, barely able to think straight. He moans softly and slides his fingers along your slit, teasing you. He pulls your panties to the side and finally slides his fingers inside you, finding your clit instantly.
He rubs it slowly, smirking as you moan softly. He slides two fingers into your tight pussy and finger fucks you. You release a short whimper and bite your lip, closing your eyes. Chris smirks and slides a third finger inside you, making you moan louder this time. He continues to finger you and rub your clit, and your body starts to shake.
"Woah, calm down, ma," he murmurs. "I've only just got started with you." His words alone make you even wetter, if that's even possible. Your legs spread wider for him and he moans as he slides a fourth finger inside you, stretching you wide open. You cry out, thighs clenching together
Chris then pulls his fingers out of you and licks them clean, before leaning down and sliding his tongue along your slit. You moans and now spread your legs wider, so desperate for his touch. He sucks on your clit gently, and you writhe, unable to control yourself.
"Chris, stop," you manage. "If you keep going, I'm gonna-"
Chris suddenly stops then, and stands up, pulling your panties back over your wet pussy. Your eyes widen as you're left lying there, longing for his touch.
"Chris," you plead. "Please."
He grins at your desperate state, a cocky smile playing on his lips.
"What was that?" he teases. "Say it again, baby, I couldn't hear you."
"Fuck you, Chris," you say, your voice strained as you press your legs together for any sort of friction.
"I thought you'd never ask," Chris grins, grabbing your arms and pinning them above your head. He kisses you hard, then slides his tongue into your mouth, tasting you. You moan into his mouth and try to pull away from him, but he holds you tight, pressing himself against you.
His tip grazes you soaking pussy softly, and you spread your legs wider for him, looking up at him pleadingly. You moans and push your hips towards him, begging him to enter you. He smiles and eases his cock into you, making you gasp. He groans and slowly slides his cock further into your tight pussy, filling you up completely.
"You're so fucking hot, ma," Chris whispers, grinning. Moans leave his mouth as he begins thrusting in and out of you, fucking you hard. You groan and grind against him, your pussy throbbing. You arch your back, needing even more of him.
Your body trembles as his thrusts get faster, more out of control. You bite your lip to stop yourself from crying out.
"Moan for me, ma," Chris tells you then.
"Chris," you whimper, and he moans as you say his name. With every thrust you get closer to tipping over the edge, your groans growing louder with every movement.
Your body shakes, your pussy pulsing around his cock. Chris doesn't stop though, leaning forward to press a quick kiss to your lips.
"Cum for me, baby."
You do as he says, letting out a moan as his cock hits the back of you one last time. You hold him tightly, your nails dragging sharply down his back, though Chris doesn't mind. He loves seeing you unravel like this in front of him, knowing it's all his doing.
"Good girl," he whispers into your ear.
"Your turn," you whisper back, suddenly grabbing his hips and thrusting yourself onto him one more time. Chris tips his head back, groaning as he finishes.
He pulls out of you, looking down at you, his best friend, with a smile on his face.
"Bet no one else has ever made you moan like that before, huh?" he grins smugly. You bite your lip, shaking you head. "Thought so."
"Shut up," you reply, getting up from the couch and reaching out for his hand. "We should get cleaned up," you tell him.
"If you wanna have shower sex, you can just say so," Chris shrugs, and despite yourself, blush forms on your cheeks.
"I'll take that as a yes," Chris answers, taking your hand and leading you to the bathroom.

Cupids in Converses
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Luke Castellan x Reader
Summary: Valentine's was rolling up. You and Luke played Cupid on Percy and Annabeth. But what if playing matchmakers gave both you guys and your unspoken feelings the nudge that you guys have always needed? (Fluff, friends to lovers, happy ending)
Warning: sort of cliché, but it's Valentines so.
Note: Valentines got me in the mood of writing something rom-com-ish. Let's just assume Luke wears red converses that looks like Maia in the show. Also, I've been incredibly busy so I kinda rushed through this one to post it on time for Valentines.
Word count: 4.1k (whoops)
February has always filled the air with some sort of sugary chemical. Everything seemed sweeter like a pink filter had been put over the world. Some may dislike the upcoming February holiday, but it was perhaps one of your favorite times of the year.
Why? You were somehow blessed with the skills of getting people together and nudging them just enough to cross the line they needed to. So far, you have managed to help six couples get together. With Valentine’s right around the corner, the urge to play cupid grew to the point it was itching your hands.
“Well, compared to the Chimera on Monday, Medusa on Sunday, could have been a lot worse,” Percy was quickly interrupted by Annabeth.
“Medusa was Saturday.”
“I thought Sunday?”
“No monsters on Sunday. Monday, you died in a river.” You squint your eyes at the conversation that Percy and Annabeth were having. The familiar bells rang in your head; you could practically hear them roaring at you.
“Right, so Medusa on Saturday…”
“Woah, guys, what’s this?” Luke interrupted. “When did you turn into an old married couple?” Percy and Annabeth both grew slightly flustered at the Hermes counselor’s words. Muttering a few things here and there, the two kids quickly excused themselves and walked off from you and Luke just to avoid the topic in general. You slowly turned towards Luke and peered up at him.
“Surely…” you spoke cryptically.
“Surely what?”
“Them!” you gestured to the direction that Percy and Annabeth had headed off to. You kicked a small rock with your Converse and watched it tumble away. “Surely we can give a little nudge?” you trailed off, bumping into Luke’s shoulder.
“You’re not seriously gonna play Cupid on them, right?”
“No, I’m not…because we are,” Luke let out a loud breath, hands on his hips as he peered down at you. However, you could see a glimmer of amusement in his eyes.
“Sweet girl, I adore you, but why not let things run their course?” you hope he did not see the physical reaction over that nickname because, internally, your heart skipped a beat.
“Oh? And you’re telling me those six couples from before would have gotten together without me? You know I’m right about this kind of stuff. I can usually sense it. Besides, it’ll be fun, I promise.”
“What’s in it for me?”
“Uhm…you get to spend time with me?” you decided to answer, grinning up at Luke when he gave you a feigned unimpressed look. “Please, besides, you and Percy are close, so it would help a lot. I already have a plan and I need your help for it.”
One look into your eyes, and Luke knew he was doomed. For some reason, you just can make him do anything you ask. Luke could feel the hands on his hips slowly slipping as he looked into your eyes.
“Fine.”
Stage 1: Get Percy to realize his feelings cause he’s blind as hell
It was midnight and everybody else was asleep except for you and Luke. The two of you were in the kitchen, trying to be as quiet as possible.
The two of you were making some fortune cookies for your plan. However, there was a tiny twist to the treat you two were making. You had personally printed out a couple of prompts that you wrote yourself in hopes they would nudge Percy into realizing his feelings.
“Really?’“Romance is in the air. What you’re looking for is right in front of you’?” Luke read out the small piece of paper that you printed. You pulled the cookies out of the oven when they were ready.
“It’s cliche and sort of obvious, but hey! It’ll work because it’s Percy I’m working with,” you quickly pulled the paper out of his hand to put it in the fortune cookie before folding it into shape and letting it cool down.
“Mhm. He’s gonna realize you’re trying to play cupid.”
“Are we talking about the same person? I doubt Percy would realize. Annabeth would, hence why I’m not trying this on her.”
Luke helped you out with a couple of other spare fortune cookies that you two intended to keep for yourselves.
“Alright, finally done,” you muttered, washing your hands. However, you were caught off guard when Luke dipped his hand in the bag of flour on the counter and smeared some on your cheek. Your mouth hung slightly at this, and you looked up at him challengingly. You wiped your hands with a hand towel, “Oh? Is that how we’re playing it?”
“...No…” Luke sheepishly replied, a grin growing on his face when he saw the look of mischief creeping on your face.
“Game on, Castellan,” with that, you dipped both of your hands in flour and chased after the tall boy, who was sprinting around the counter. You caught up with Luke and compromised by smearing flour onto the back of his shirt first. At your attack, he turned around and smeared some more across your face from your other cheek to the top of your nose. You immediately did it back to him.
“Ok, ok, I surrender,” he coughed in between quiet waves of laughter after you smeared some from his cheek down his neck, marking your last attack.
For a moment, Luke and you stood in silence, but when you two let the state of one another sink in, laughs echoed throughout the room again. Luke was able to stop his laughter first, though he was still wearing a wide grin. He washed the flour off his face and dried it with kitchen tissues as you muttered: “Oh, I wish I had a camera. I could practically blackmail you with that photo.”
“I have no doubt you would have never let me live that down,” while replying, Luke also approached you and started wiping the flour off your nose before moving to your cheeks. Your laughter slowly faded as your cheeks heated at the feeling of his hand on your skin. He was looking at you so tentatively. Callous hands - a reflection of his remarkable title as best swordsman - delicately holding your face as if you were the rarest diamond to exist.
Something about this moment felt so domestic. Luke allowed himself to indulge in the fantasy that this is how it would feel like to be with you and share cute moments like these together. Luke unbeknownstly let out a breath he didn’t know he was keeping in as he made eye contact with you.
However, the moment was interrupted by another camper who yelped upon seeing you two in the kitchen. The presence of another person caused you two to spring apart. “I’m so sorry, I’ll leave,” the camper muttered, clearly abandoning their plan of stealing food and sweets in the middle of the night. Luke coughed to break the silence.
“So what’s the plan after giving it to Percy?” Luke asked, looking down at the fortune cookies before picking one up and munching on it.
“Hopefully, he’ll finally realize his feelings, and when he does…Percy will come to you, for sure.”
Stage 2: Romantic gesture
You were right, Percy came to Luke for dating advice. As you planned, Luke suggested that Percy make a flower crown for Annabeth. Hence, here the Hermes counselor was - with Percy as he picked out flowers for Annabeth.
"I'm gonna need you to guide me on this 'cause I've never made flower crowns before," Percy muttered as he picked out California Poppins, Annabeth's favorite. Luke grinned at this. He found it interesting how the young boy already knew. "Maybe you could make one for someone special too?" Percy said, his voice somewhat unsure.
At the young boy's words, Luke froze. The first person that seemed to pop into his mind when Percy said that was you.
"I mean, might as well, right? It's for Valentine's. Maybe you could give it to someone who means a lot to you and makes you happy?" Percy spoke, though there was something instigative about his tone.
Happy. The word bounced in between the walls of Luke's mind. Once again, the first thing that flashed in his head was you. Then, a surge of images came running from memories of you two. He almost could not remember happiness before you. A warm feeling embedded in his chest as he pictured your smile. Just seeing you happy seemed to do it for him, like you could spread happiness to him by just looking at him. You were like the first glimmer of daylight after a cold night. He subconsciously smiled at that thought.
You have always made him feel loved, even though he knew you were probably doing it platonically. However, he would gladly take any form of love that he could receive from you. Every day, waking up and knowing he had you in his life was good enough for him. Maybe he should try giving you more hints. Maybe you'll finally see it. Perhaps Percy was right with the flower crown idea.
“Uhm, sure,” with that, Luke decided to take some of your favorite flowers into his hand and went to a nearby table, where he started guiding Percy on how to make a flower crown. However, ever so often, his mind would trail to its own thoughts whenever he focused on making this flower crown for you.
Percy watched Luke as the older boy started intensely working on his own flower crown, crafting it with so much care as if it was an artwork intended for a national museum. If Percy didn’t know better, he would think Luke was a perfectionist.
Meanwhile, you were sitting with Annabeth near the ocean where she had previously pushed Percy into the waters, leading to Poseidon claiming him. You asked, “Any plans for Valentine’s Day?”
“No, you?”
“Nope.”
“Oh?” she replied, though you tilted your head at the tone of her voice. “I’m just surprised,” Annabeth explained as she looked out at the ocean instead of at you. “I mean…I thought you and Luke…”
“Huh?—”
“Well, I mean, you two are together all the time, and there seems to be something going on —”
“What do you mea—”
“It always seems like you two would gravitate to one another. I just assumed you two were together already—”
“We’re…just friends,” you settled on saying, though you could hear your heart beating loudly, seemingly echoing near your chest and neck. Of course, you knew you had feelings for Luke. However, you have always ruled it as a silly little crush.
“...You sure? You sound really unsure,” Annabeth challenged, making you sigh.
“I mean, he’s really sweet, and nice…”
“Uh-huh”
“And he makes me laugh all the time…”
“That’s good,” Annabeth’s words echoed as you sunk into silence and started reflecting on who Luke was to you. He has always made you feel cared for. Out of everybody at camp, perhaps he was the one you were most comfortable with, never having to be afraid of being yourself. Almost all of your favorite memories at camp included him in them.
You remember the night you told him about your minor fear of the darkness and how he promised to always protect you in it. In a way, since then, he has become your light. You always felt lit up when he made his way to you. Your eyes are always drawn to him like a moth to its flame. Then, it finally dawned on you how serious your feelings were. You realized how most of the time you seemed to be mindless about the existence of your heart until Luke was around because it was only then that your heart would tug or race to run you breathless. You gulped as your eyes darted around slightly.
“I mean…maybe…” you started but snapped out of your thoughts when you heard Luke’s voice. And there it was again, the silly familiar tug your heart was doing just from his voice. “Hey…” you greeted Luke and Percy before noticing Percy with a flower crown in his hand.
“Annabeth, can I speak to you privately?” Annabeth stood up and gestured for Percy to lead the way, presumably somewhere, so the young boy could give her the flower crown and ask her out on Valentine’s Day. You remained seated, still pondering at your feelings and wondering when they had exponentially grown that much.
“I actually have something for you as well,” you finally looked up at Luke when he said this. You noticed he had his hands behind his back. Something about the way he looked now seemed so shy and timid, which was unlike the outgoing and confident boy you always knew.
Your mouth fell agape when he pulled out a flower crown made of your favorite flower. “Luke…” you said his name and stood up when you saw the item.
However, because your eyes were on his gift, you didn’t notice the way Luke’s breath hitched at the sound of your voice calling out his name. He never thought it was anything special until November two years ago when you said his name while laughing at one of his jokes by the campfire. It was probably a moment you did not remember, but ever since then, he felt so sure that he was named so because the name sounded like it was born just for the sole purpose of being sounded from your lips.
“I made this for you,” he muttered, though it sounded almost like a whisper. His eyes shifted to both of your Converses instead of at you. Something about this made him so nervous as if he was handing you his heart instead of a simple gift. He almost scowled at himself for acting like a boy in kindergarten, confessing to his crush.
If only Luke was looking at you because you were looking at him and the item in awe. Your cheeks flushed from his gesture. Though, you were somewhat glad he was not looking at you because you were sure one look at you right now would tell Luke exactly everything about your feelings. You were a blushing mess. “Luke, thank you so much. This is beautiful. I can’t believe you made one for me.”
You touched Luke’s hand that was holding the crown, and he almost grew an even deeper shade of red. “Put it on my head,” you instructed, and he obliged just like everything else you would ask. He was sure he must have caught a sickness or something for wanting to follow you this blindly. But you were perhaps the only one with the power to get him to do absolutely anything. Just as the crown touched your hair, you peered up at him, and the sight alone made Luke swallow nervously.
You looked breathtaking.
And he meant this literally because Luke felt like he stopped breathing for a second. He could not look away. That was until you wrapped your arms around his waist and hugged him. His arms wrapped around your neck almost immediately to return the hug as if they existed to only hold you.
However, unlike the hundreds of hugs before, this one felt different. It was as if something had shifted and was bound to unfold.
Final Stage: Valentine’s Day
Annabeth had said yes.
You were ecstatic to learn that the young girl had agreed to go on a Valentine’s date with Percy. Even though you didn’t want to intrude, you and Luke decided to just have a peep to see what Percy had planned. You were not planning to stay long. It was just a sort of reward or a way to see your plan grow into fruition. You smiled when you spot the cute picnic date near the shore.
“See, I told you the plan was going to work,” you muttered as you tiptoed up in your converses to peer at the kids through the tall bushes nearby. You almost lost balance and step onto Luke's shoes that were similar to yours, except his was red.
The boy quickly steadied you with his hand on your waist. You muttered a quick thank you before turning back to the kids, trying to ignore the blush that was slowly decorating your cheeks. But you were quickly caught off guard at the sight of Percy and Annabeth pushing a small boat off the shore and hopping on it.
“Uhm…that is not what I expected. Where are they going?” Luke looked over your shoulder when you said that. Your eyes fluttered at his warm breath hitting your neck.
However, you noticed the two kids looking like they were in trouble and panicking as they quickly started rowing away. You turned your head towards Luke, forgetting he was very close to you. Your voice faltered as you were about to utter your next sentence. Noticing this, Luke turned to you, only causing the two of you to come face to face with little distance in between. You gulped and forced yourself not to glance down at his lips, “Do you think they’re okay? Should we follow them? I mean…what if they’re in trouble?”
Seeing the worried look on your face, Luke frowned. He deeply disliked anything that caused that kind of expression on your face. Hence, he decided to go over to the second boat there and started pushing it towards the water. “Come on,” you hopped onto the small boat with him and started rowing after Percy and Annabeth, hoping to help them from whatever trouble they were seeming to have.
After a few minutes of rowing behind them, you saw Percy and Annabeth rowing into a small tunnel. Luke and you quickly followed in, rowing your boat, only to be engulfed by darkness upon entering the tunnel.
The wind blew much harder in there, causing goosebumps on your arm as your hand gripped your oar tightly. To make matters worse, it was your most hated type of darkness - utter pitch black. Even with your eyes adjusted to the darkness, you could see nothing, not even Luke.
You were fine with darkness in familiar places like your cabin, where you knew at least there were other campers around and you were safe. You were also mostly fine with darkness where you could see as your eyes adjusted to it. But here, you were in a tunnel you’ve never been in, where there were possibly monsters that could attack you at any moment.
You were slightly startled by the hand that softly touched yours that, unbeknownst to you, was crushing the wooden oar. You immediately recognize it was Luke’s hand from the warmth and familiar touch. He soothingly ran his thumb across your hand. His actions were proven effective at calming you down when you could feel your grip loosen around the tool.
“Breathe, sweet girl,” his words somehow made you release the breath you were subconsciously holding.
A few seconds later, the lights were turned on. You were met with one of the most beautiful sights you’ve ever seen. Lights were decorating the path throughout the tunnel. There were also plants and trees with extended branches and leaves that softly brushed past the boat Luke and you were on.
Suddenly, you both heard a tune start playing quietly in the background, almost quiet enough to make you two think you were imagining it:
“There you see her, sitting there across the way.
She don’t got a lot to say, but there’s something about her”
His thumb hasn’t stopped rubbing over your knuckles even though the darkness was no longer casting over the both of you. His eyes were absorbing how you looked at that moment, embracing it. You were absolutely stunning and he was hopelessly infatuated with you.
“And you don’t know why, but you’re dying to try
You wanna kiss the girl.”
The lyrics made Luke subconsciously lick his lips as he pictured himself kissing you. Gods, he wondered if his heart would even survive doing so and whether anything would ever surpass getting to kiss you. Your eyes flickered to Luke's lips, and he noticed it. He also noticed how your cheeks flushed as you gulped at his actions.
“Luke.”
“Y/N,” you almost melted at the way Luke was saying your name as if it was an honor or privilege to do so. The tone he used was sweeter than any dessert you have ever had. Gods, it was as if your name was a sacred passage he lived by.
“Yes, you want her
Look at her, you know you do”
Indeed he was looking at you, and it felt almost like he was spellbound because he could not take his eyes off you. Right then, you could see it all - he was utterly smitten. He was giving you a soft smile. The lights decorating the tunnel shimmered in his eyes, illuminating just enough to display his pupils and how they almost completely overtook the usual dark brown color that you love. Before you knew it, he was leaning closer to you on the small boat and you mirrored his action.
“Possible she wants you too, there is one way to ask her…”
Just when Luke was inches from your face, he stopped. His eyes longingly stare at your lips like a long-awaited dream that was within his grasp but not quite within his grip yet. You noticed how he took a deep breath as if mustering all the drops of courage he had. His eyes fluttered shut for a second before he opened them again.
“Can I?” he uttered only two words, but somehow, his voice conveyed enough the yearning coursing through every inch of his body. Luke gulped as he restrained himself from closing the distance and waited for your consent.
You nodded wordlessly.
“It don’t take a word, not a single word
Go on and kiss the girl.”
Almost instantly, he caressed both sides of your face and sealed the deal.
All the glory Luke has gained throughout the years seemed trivial compared to kissing you. It almost convinced him that everything he had gone through to get here today was worth it. He hummed against your lips as you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him even closer. Kissing you felt like the best gift he had ever gotten in his entire life. Luke knew he was forever screwed from the way it felt. He could not fathom the idea of his lips ever touching anyone else’s. Maybe they were made for you, but his heart and mind do not seem to oppose that idea.
You slowly slid your arms down, allowing your hands to caress his jawline and the sides of his face. However, your hands slightly jolted at the pace of his heartbeat along the side of his neck. It was as if his heart was trying to break out of his body. Your own heart started replicating the same rhythm. It had you flustered that you had such an effect on him.
Luke broke away from the kiss breathlessly. For a second, he hated the idea of needing air to live because if he could, he would not have stopped showing you how much his lips belonged to you. His forehead leaned against yours while his hands rested on your hips. He looked at you endearingly as if he could not fathom that he just got to kiss you. You smiled at the sight of him.
“I know I’m a tad bit late, but will you be my Valentine?” he sweetly asked.
“Of course, Luke.” Luke grinned at your answer. He drew you in for another kiss as giggles escaped your lips and echoed through the tunnel that now marked an important memory for the two of you.
You truly must be Cupid because your plan not only worked for Percy and Annabeth, but somehow also indirectly gave Luke and you the nudge you both needed.
14th February marked the day when two Cupids wearing Converses got their happy ending.
Bonus:
“I told you that would work,” Annabeth whispered to Percy as the two hopped back onto their boat with a speaker in hand, rowing away hastily to be out of sight from the older couple.
Little did you know, Annabeth had orchestrated the whole thing, including the conversation between her and Percy about their mission in front of Luke and you. Annabeth’s plan of getting Luke and you together through playing cupid together had seemingly worked just like she had planned.
Who said you were the only cupid at Camp Half-Blood?

————————
BY THE TIME that the movie night rolled around I wasn't in the mood for it anymore. In the span of the past 4 or so hours, I had received at least 25 messages from Hermione and Harry. The contents varied from "can we talk" to more condescending ones like "you're ignoring us for them now?".
I sighed as I plopped onto the couch, everybody filing in as Theo set up the projector to face the dark, stone wall across from us. Pansy sat to my right as she chatted with Enzo and Blaise - something about their upcoming exam.
"Okay!" yells Theo as he claps his hands, "what are we in the mood for?"
"Pretty Woman!" came Mattheo's voice from behind me. Everybody groaned at this suggestion. He, completely unbothered by the reactions in the room, walked in with his bag on one shoulder, throwing it down next to the couch before taking a seat beside me.
"Hey, that's my seat," said Theo as he stopped fiddling with the projector to complain.
Mattheo threw his arm on the back of the couch before shrugging. "Find another one."
Theo only rolled his eyes as he finally set up the movie.
Draco sighed from the other side of the room, his arms filled with snacks that he probably stole from the kitchen with Blaise. "We've seen this about 3 million times."
"Well, do you have any other ideas?" asked Mattheo cockily.
Draco only crossed his arms and sat down onto an empty armchair after throwing the snacks onto the coffee table for everybody else.
My phone buzzed in my pocket for what felt like the millionth time today. I pulled it out to reply, maybe if I gave them a response just this once they'd leave me alone for the rest of the night. The intro to the movie began so I turned my brightness down to not disturb the others.

I felt a pair of eyes on me, watching my every move. I didn't need to look to know who it was - Mattheo, his eyebrows quirked up at me, his eyes scrutinizing the look on my face. I didn't like how he constantly seemed to be examining me. Sometimes it almost felt like he was trying to read my mind.
"What's up?" he whispered, his head dipping down to meet my eye level. Everybody's attention was still on the movie, and if they heard the intrusion of his voice, they paid no mind to it.
I shrugged, my body leaning to grab some popcorn before crashing back against the cushions. The boy beside me sighed, stretching his arms above his head before letting them fall onto the back of the couch, right behind my shoulders.
Trying my best to not tense up from the feeling of his skin brushing against my neck, I decided to chime into the previous attempt at a conversation.
"Ginny texted me. I told her I'd talk to her tomorrow."
The fabric on the sofa made an obnoxious sound as Mattheo shifted around, his legs readjusting as he thought about his next words.
"Is that such a good idea? That didn't go so well last time," he said hesitantly.
I pursed my lips, deep in thought. Shrugging once more, I chewed on the salty popcorn in my hand. "Maybe not. She said she'd be down to join us for lunch, though."
His eyes shot up in surprise. "Oh? I didn't think-"
"Mattheo, if you're gonna choose the same boring movie over and over, can you at least pay attention?" came Draco's annoyed tone. I only chuckled at Draco's agitation, continuing to watch the movie in silence.
The rest of the night passed by swiftly. I didn't receive any more texts, and Mattheo stopped trying to pry. Everything was well, and I was actually starting to feel better - the few hours we had to bond during the movie made my mood rise immensely.
But when the time came to go to our dorms, I began to sense a nagging feeling in the back of my mind. Truthfully, sleeping had been rough these past few months.
The war was still fresh in my mind, as I'm sure was the case for everyone else. It was hard for me to open up about it. The only person I ever talked to being Harry, since he was the only one who understood how traumatic events still follow you no matter how hard you tried to lose them. He even knew what it was like to be plagued by recurring nightmares - ones that would make you wake up in a cold sweat, unsure of where you were, feeling like you were transported back in time to the root of the trauma.
However I haven't spoken to him about anything since summer ended, especially now that we were sort of on bad terms.
So, begrudgingly I made my way up to bed, praying that I wouldn't be cursed with another nightmare tonight. It was soon clear to me that my praying was in vain as I woke up with a start, my heart hammering as I tried to gasp for air. I was desperate to regain the oxygen in my lungs, my mouth hung wide as I drank in every breath.
Normally I would text Harry and he would occasionally call me to talk about it. Hearing somebody's voice always grounded me in reality, and when that wasn't possible, he would merely give me advice on how to fall back asleep, offering his playlist of meditations and calming music.
I didn't have that right now.
The next thing in my mind was to slip out of bed quietly and pad downstairs to the common room. It was deathly late by now, but a part of me still hoped somebody would be up reading or studying. Yet I knew that was only wishful thinking.
As expected the common room was blanketed in an eerie silence, the darkness engulfing me as I walked in deeper. The uneasiness of the dream was still lingering, and I hugged myself in a weak attempt to comfort myself.
Maybe lighting the fire would help.
I didn't stop to think that I actually had no idea how to start a fire or the fact that I could've just used a spell to do it. My mind was too flustered to think straight, and instead of pulling out my wand like a normal person, I start shoving wood blocks into the fire place, my heart still racing against my ribcage.
What the fuck was I doing?
"What the fuck are you doing?" said a voice behind me. The wood from my hands slipped as I jolted upwards, my hands shaking from the sudden intrusion, my nightmare, and my confusion at how to start a fire all at once.
"Enzo, what are you doing up?" I asked, my knees bending to pick up the dropped cargo.
He let out a breathy laugh, trying to be quiet so as to not wake others.
"I could ask you the same thing."
Rolling my eyes, I dropped my knees to the floor once more, grunting in frustration. "How do you start this stupid thing?" I said, my voice wavering as I tried not to cry out of both frustration and discomfort at my current situation.
Enzo walked towards me and sat next to me, his hands stopping my motions before pulling out his wand and casting incendio.
I resisted the urge to slap my forehead. "Of course... I could've done that," I almost laughed.
Crossing my legs, I moved backwards from the fire slightly, my eyes never leaving the flaming embers. The low light in the room was incredibly relaxing. I only hoped it would make me sleepy enough to go back to bed.
Moving to sit next to me, Enzo's gaze studied me, his eyebrows scrunched in concern.
"You never answered my question."
I ripped my eyes away from the fireplace, looking at him now. "Ah. You never answered mine," I said smartly.
He only rolled his eyes, a smile playing on his lips as he responded, "Mattheo heard someone walking around but he was too tired to get up so he texted me to check it out."
Scrunching my nose, I tried to hold in a laugh. He was too lazy to get up and look down the hallway, but he could text a coherent sentence to make someone else do it? Mattheo really was something else. Of course I was never one to judge - but he really wasn't what I expected him to be at all. He was kind when the time called for it, he knew when to be serious and when to joke, he was actually pleasant to be around.
Theo was growing on me, albeit slowly.
But Enzo? I still wasn't sure how to mend the broken friendship. Maybe it was already en route to fixing itself, but if I didn't say anything now to properly break the ice, when will I?
"I'm up because - well... a lot of reasons, actually," I said, my fingers plucking at the rug underneath me. Enzo said nothing as he waited for me to keep talking. He was always so good at listening, which is why I knew this wouldn't be too challenging to get out.
I didn't really know where to start to be honest.
"Enzo, listen. I don't know how to tell you how sorry I am-"
"Y/N-" he started but I interrupted him almost immediately. I was fully turned to him now, my eyes hesitatingly meeting his.
"Just let me finish. Please. I know I never gave you the chance to explain yourself, and I don't deserve the same right now, but I really need you to know how much I regret what I said to you that day."
My voice was weaker than I had hoped it would sound, but he mentioned nothing of it as he nodded and let me continue.
"You've always been good to me, you were the best friend I could've asked for. I never should've pushed you away, you deserved a chance and I never gave it to you... So much time has passed but I never forgave myself for how I treated you. Everything was happening so fast and I was so scared and I..." my voice cracked. I lowered my head as I took a deep breath.
"I was scared of losing you to the war, to the other side - and the only way I thought would make it hurt less only hurt us more in the end. I'll spend every singlet day making it up to you. Just tell me what I can do and-"
The air was knocked out of me as Enzo threw himself onto me, his arms enveloping me in a familiar warmth. He was too forgiving.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. We both did things we aren't proud of during those times," he said, his voice muffled by my hair. Pulling back, he kept a hand on my shoulder as he gave me a small smile.
"It means a lot to me that you're back, y'know. That's all I care about."
"And all I care about it getting some sleep. The fuck are you guys chatting about so late?"
Both you and Enzo whipped your heads behind you, the sight of Mattheo's sluggish body casting a shadow across the floor. He looked grumpy, like he was mad that he was so rudely awoken from his beauty sleep. Muttering a half-hearted apology, Enzo stood up to make his way bad to bed.
"Thank you," he said to you, but for what he was thankful for, you weren't too sure.
Mattheo watched as you bid him goodnight and made your way back to your own dorm as well. An unfamiliar feeling settled in his stomach knowing that Enzo was the one to comfort you during the deep hours of the night and not him - but why that was he didn't know. Perhaps it was his ego talking. Yeah. That was it - he was just upset that Enzo would get the credit of being a better friend than him.
At least that's what he told himself to help him fall asleep.

Hey 👋 Of you are in the mood for some headcanons, how about the sdv villagers reacting to a farmer that's constantly with at least 3 Junimos? The idea came to me after seeing the Easter egg in the menu. Maybe the Farmer telling them that the Junimos were the ones who fixed the community center and everything else? Thank you! Have a nice day! :D
Heya 👋 sorry for a long reply. Hope you like it and thanka fo asking ❤️
This post is long, be aware:
The trip to visit Mullner was unusual at the very least in that Junimos stealthily got into Farmer's backpack himself. All Farmer wanted to do was wish Alex a happy birthday, but the confused athlete doesn't understand why apples are rolling from his room into the living room. No loud surprised voice in the living room either, as George didn't even pay attention to Junimos, engrossed in watching his TV program. And only Grandma Evelyn almost dropped the bag of flour in the kitchen, whispering to herself, "So Farmer's Grandpa was telling her the truth..." She'd thought her childhood friend was joking about these tales, but now... Oh, dear.
Elliott saw some apples fall from the Farmer's basket, which they were holding in their hands, and he kindly wanted to offer to help the Farmer pick them up. But no sooner had the red-haired writer opened his mouth than he saw those very apples Rolling toward the forest. And if there was a slope, he would understand, but this? "Oh, that's Junimos." Pardon, who?
"Heh, funny creatures" If the Farmer thinks that after meeting with merpeople, mermaids, and giant sea monsters that almost destroyed Willy's boat and himself, he will be surprised by the harmless and cheerful forest creatures, then think again. For old sailor it's another story that you can tell the youth!
Pierre was unable to utter anything when he was buying whole cases of apples from the Farmer to resell, and from one case 5 apples with blinking eyes rolled out and disappeared from the store. Well, at least he didn't need to pay for those apples. What?
Caroline show a more emotional reaction than her husband, when she saw Junimo. What are these magical creatures? Magic? Was she supposed to go to him again to find out if these creatures were dangerous or not? To whom? Ah nothing, it doesn't matter.
Wow! What smooth movements these robots have! They look like normal cute toys. M? Not toys? Don't say that, Maru recognizes a well-made robot everywhere. What interesting models, she already wants to ask who designed them, and- ?????? Did she get it right, they disappeared? "Told ya they weren't robots." Maru was speechless.
In the carpentry shop, coughing and smoke is everywhere. Of course there is! Robin is once again berating Demetrius for almost burning down the lab again because of her beloved husband's experiments. It's all smoke and smells like burning! What if Sabby and Maru were in danger of suffocating? She told them to be careful! Oh, hey Farmer, now's not a good tim- are those apples with eyes on their shoulders?... Yep, looks like they've both had smoke inhalation, so the first hallucinations are showing up. Ok, everybody outside, now!
Like a noble dog, which courageously endures loud and pulling the tail capricious children, Marlon stands and also endures "children" in the form of forest spirits, who jump on his head, pull his cloak or play around him. And he will look at the Farmer judgmentally with that look of "go and quiet your children". Marlon has seen a lot of monsters and wonders in his life, so he's not too surprised by Junimos.
Gil is not bothered by apple-like spirits, because like his one-eyed friend, he has seen a lot. So he will go on sleeping, ignoring the noise and clamor. Seriously, even if a storm formed within the Guild, Gil wouldn't be woken up by it.
Well, Rasmodius is glad that the Farmer was able to forge such a strong connection with the forest spirits (even better than himself, unbelievable). He is still studying Junimo, so the wizard can ask the Farmer to bring the spirits here so he can ask Junimos some questions (better than forcibly teleport them to his tower).
Yeah yeah, of course... The tiny magic people did it all. And the next day, they'll clean up Pam's trailer and leave her a full can of cold beer. Kiddo, the hell are you telling her this crap? What, you think she was born yesterday to believe in these stupid fairy tales?
Nothing unusual, just Kent coming home with Jodi after grocery shopping at Pierre's. Nothing unusual, just a Farmer walking towards them who greeted them in a friendly manner. Nothing unusual, just 5 strange apples with eyes, arms and legs following the Farmer in formation. Nothing unusual... Even the fact that Jodi fainted and now Kent is bringing his dearest wife to her senses, he is no longer surprised by anything. Just 🗿 face.
Oh, what's that? The Farmer has something to show her? Okay, Penny will take her mind off the book for a minute. Is that an apple? For her? Thank you so much Farmer ❤️ They're so kind to the young teacher, she just got hungry and... Wait, why are there eyes glued on the apple?... They're blinked!? *Gasp!* Well done Farmer, the poor teacher is now lying passed out on the grass.
Harvey.exe stopped working. When Farmer told him about Junimo, the doctor first thought that Farmer had a sunstroke and was about to give them first aid. But when the apple-like creatures came out of Farmer's backpack and began to study Harvey with curiosity, the stroke had already hit him. Where are his sedatives?
It seems that Shane had gotten so used to Farmer's oddities all along that he wasn't confused at all about them squatting outside Marnie's Ranch and talking to.... apples. It's just another Tuesday for him now.
No one believed Jas and Vincent when they told the adults that they had seen the Farmer in company with moving magic apples. They, like little detectives, will now follow the unusual Farmer until they learn their secret (or until kid's parents call them home because it's dinner time!).
But the one who gets to investigate late into the night is Abigail, who believed the kids' stories and took Sam and Sebastian along as partners on a scouting mission. What will be their surprise when they follow the Farmer to the woods and see small creatures emerge from the thick foliage of a bush. Gnomes, dwarfs? What are they? Abigail will scare the Junimos away with her excitement and they will hide in the same bush. The Farmer, too, almost dies of fright and will want to climb into the bush themselves, but Abby, Sam and Sebby won't let them. Now begins the interrogation and initiation of the famous A.S.S. trio into the secrets of the no less famous Farmer.
Lewis was sincerely grateful that the Farmer, the hero of Stardew Valley, was able to restore the Community Center and return Pelican Town to its former glory. But he still doesn't understand why the Farmer doesn't want to say how they were able to restore the center, always hiding behind the fact that "some keepers of the forest helped them." Making up some fairy tales, just like their Grandpa ...
One summer morning, Leah met Farmer when she return from the lake to her home. They were carrying a woven basket of nature's gifts: mushrooms, berries, and... Oh, apples! Leah thought that the fruit of the wild forest apple trees would not ripen until early fall. Can the Farmer tell where they picked the apples? Oh, not apples? Then what are-? Huh, little eyes and little hands... Strange, she thought she was processing mushrooms when she ate them at breakfast, why would she start hallucinating... She'll be shocked when Farmer tells her she's not imagining it. Indeed, the Valley is truly full of secrets.....
Marnie warned the Farmer not to go to that strange tower. She warned, but what do we have now? Farmer with small creatures. She hope they are at least kind???? Maybe Because if they're not kind, and if they hurt Jas, then oh boy, Farmer is screwed.
Clint nearly nailed the poor Junimos with a hammer, mistaking them for rats in his blacksmith's shop. Couldn't you tell they were strange woodland creatures and not rats?! What? No, he's not surprised by the apple-like keepers of the forest, but he won't tolerate rats in his house. Clint isn't afraid of them, he just can't stand rodents.
Ah, dear friend, and in the company of Junimo! That's perfect. Linus was just telling Leo about the various spirits of the worlds, and the conversation turned to the keepers of the forest, Junimos. And now he can even introduce them to Leo. Although, Leo forgot about his mentor's lecture and started playing with Junimo together with the parrots. Linus sighed and decided that his student really needed some break from studying.
"Ewww! Rats!" Haley screamed at the whole house and cowardly climbed onto the sofa, mistaking the frightened Junimos for a horde of rodents. Haley dear, rodents can't be green, red, and apple-shaped. Her sister Emily, to be honest, would rather have rats than...what is this exactly? She, not realizing that what was near the feet of the Farmer, took her sign of Yoba, and said something (drive away evil spirits). Emily, not you too... They are harmless creatures!
Gus's heart almost jumped out of his chest when he took a knife and wanted to cut an apple for dessert in the Saloon, and the apple.... squeaked and rolled across the bar towards the Farmer. So... what do toy expect from Gus? Serve customers, even apple-like customers? What do they eat?

I have another request ♥
Could you write Ming protecting the members? Like where one of the boys has a sasaeng or she goes off in vlive because hate comments towards a member or a member keeps getting calls non stop and she forgers her idol image and ends up going off.
Scoups obv has to think of the group image as a whole and he scolds her but she gives zero fucks because someone is messing with her member.
You could use Shua since they are so close and because it's Shua she can't contain her reaction.
I love your requests, you always give me great ideas! I hope it is how you kind of imagined! Feedback and thoughts are always welcome! Hope you have a great day <3
MING PROTECTING JOSHUA | MING
Tumblr media
July, 2018
After a schedule for their recent comeback, Ming and Joshua decided to do a small vlive for fans. It had been a while since either of them had done one.
The two members were having fun, they were talking about the new comeback, eating some nice food, listening to songs and interacting with fans.
Ming was on her phone searching for a new song to play, when Joshua read a comment someone left. ''Joshua, you're fat.'' He read out loud.
Her attention went from her phone to Joshua, surprised by the sudden comment. ''What?'' She said to him, visibly confused. ''Someone said that.'' He clarified for her, his indifferent expression not showing any emotion.
Ming's focus shifted from Joshua back to her phone. ''Everybody, before saying this kind of stuff, please look at yourself.'' She said, not even looking at the camera. Joshua laughed at the girl's clapback, not expecting her to defend him like that.
Not soon after, similar comments started appearing in their comment section. People calling Ming rude for her response and others saying Joshua isn't a responsible older member for not scolding her. The staff behind the camera gestured for the pair to end the live broadcast, seeing it started to bother the two members.
''We have to go guys, it was nice talking to you.'' Joshua closes off the vlive, looking at Ming who gave the camera an obviously fake smile. Ming simply waves at the screen, not in the mood to properly finish the live.
The live ends and Ming immediately gets up from her chair. "Why are people like that, I don't get." She exclaimed, frustrated by the situation.
"I know, thanks for defending me, Ming-ah." Joshua gets up as well and gives her a hug. She pats his back. "Of course, why would they even comment that?"
One of the staff members approaches Ming. "Yerim-ssi, your phone is ringing." The staff member tells her, handing her phone over. "Oh, thank you.
She looks at the contact name and sees that it's their beloved leader, Cheol. She picks up and holds the phone up to her ear. "Hello?"
"Yerim-ah, you can't talk like that on a live broadcast!" He scolds her, not even greeting her.
She rolls her eyes. "So I'm just supposed to let people talk about him that way? Oppa, I was just defending him!" She defends herself, knowing she didn't do anything wrong.
"I get that and I'm happy you defended your older brother, but you also have to think about your image. We don't want people to see you as rude." He tells her, wanting her to understand his point.
"I understand that, I'm sorry." She apologises, she gets where the leader is coming from. In a way, he's responsible for their team, so if people mess up, he has to take care of it.
She could hear him sigh through the phone. "I know you don't mean that, but I'll take it. I'll see you at home." Cheol said.
"Bye, Cheol!" She bid him goodbye and hung up the phone.
She turned around and saw Joshua smirking at her. "You got a good scolding?" He asked her.
"Why else would he call me?"
"Cause you're the favorite kid."
"Fair point."

Chamber x Reader
WC : 600
Summary : Chamber is always there for you, and you would always be there for him. Tonight was the night he needed you the most.
CW : PTSD MENTIONS, anxiety, insomnia, comforting Chamber during an attack
A/N : Please read the content warning beforehand. I wrote this to comfort myself and not feel alone - this is a touchy subject for some people! (I am in the same boat, I wrote it based on what I would want - this is a self-indulgent fic.) PTSD is different from everybody's perspective and this is mine! I know there is different types and reactions.
Chamber was a wonderful boyfriend - the best you had ever had. He would play you music whenever you felt anxious, massage your pains, even stay up when the insomnia hit. You and him were quite the pair, he had always joked. You always loved how he could say something so strong and make it sound like a simple comment. He had always known what to say or do when you were down, and tonight it seemed roles were reversed.
Chamber had struggled with PTSD from his military days for as long as you could remember. A year into the relationship he had opened up and your heart swelled knowing that he trusted you. You loved the man and wished for all this pain to float away, he did not deserve it. Too bad life was cruel and everyone must face the trials of mortality.
You had woken up to feel something shaking the bed. Groggily, you turned to notice Vincent silently rocking himself. “Baby? Are you alright?” You rubbed your hand against his back triggering the man to start sobbing. Your heart broke at the sight, he didn’t deserve to be plagued like this. “Vin, shh.. It’s okay. Come here.” Shuffling his body into your arms, you started running your fingers through his hair. “You’re fine. Copy my breathing.” You could tell he had started to focus more, his sobs quieting down. “That’s it. It’s all gone now. You know I would play you music but we saw how that worked out last time..” You could hear a little snort, his tears slowly drying. “Please don’t. I don’t need to feel worse.” You couldn’t help but laugh at the sarcastic comment. “Well that’s rude! I think I compare to Beethoven.” His breathy guffaw made you smile, hand getting rid of any excess tears.
“I don’t think I can go back to sleep again.” His voice wavered, hands tightening around your waist. “That’s fine. We can watch a movie and I’ll make some drinks. We’ve slept long enough anyways. Stay still and I’ll be right back.”
Your hands opened the bedroom door, his bed head peeking out of the covers. “There’s my little bird. Here, I made us cider.” His hands shook slightly as he took the cup, taking a sip. He made a little satisfactory ‘mm’ as you turned on the TV. Scrolling around Netflix, you found a cheesy Christmas film. You knew your option had to be smart, you didn’t want to trigger anything more in his state. This would be a safe call and put him in a good mood even if he did claim it was ‘cheesy and not entertaining.’
Vincent rested his head against your chest, his breath fanning your skin as the movie continued. “To be fair, the movie is cheesy but the man is smart.” Vincent’s voice made you jump a bit, not expecting him to talk. “Yeah, he’s rich and a businessman. Of course you’re going to like him.” Chamber’s hand lightly smacked you as he made a fake gasp. “I am hurt! You think so little of me to fall into such a stereotype?” You could only roll your eyes. “Yes.” His grin and pretty brown hues met yours. He deserved only the best and you would work like hell to give it to him.
“I love you, Vincent.”
“I love you too, Y/N.”

Beware of Devaniux
Hey, guys!
Never heard of me? Doesn't matter. You probably will in the future. Why? ;) Because your beloved bitch queen Devaniux aka Chiine aka TIne is DEFINITELY going to hoot about me :D Sorry, darling, you are not the only one who loves to fuck Yami-Marik ;D Deal with it.
So, why this catchy headline, hm? I want to warn everybody not to get caught of her precious art and "vulnerable" posts and tweets. Tine (Devaniux) is a narcissist at the finest!
A person that wields the ban hammer if someone DARES to contradict her or worse: CRITIZE her! Goddamn!
A person who throws tantrums like a child if she doesn't get her will. A person who threatens to KILL herself, ONLY to get attention and "oh, please don't! you and your art are amazing, beautiful... blah... blah... blah..." On top, this person is a known scammer! The least you could demand for those unspeakable commission prices is a result that you, as the buyer, like! But no, missy walks her way and even calls you out, bans you and denies any changes, even though it was agreed beforehand. She then complains about you and sends her flying monkeys after you.
What are flying monkeys? Well, they are better known as the narcissist's little helpers. They will slander about you and attack you. They spread lies and death threats towards you and others. BUT: The narcissists leans back in their chair and can play the innocent ones. They didn't ask the monkeys to bash you, right? ;)
Oh, Tine... I have seen so many of your victims... I felt so sorry for some of the last ones... they really tried to help you. And you still pull the same shit only to say, it is never your fault... your behavior or your way to treat people:
Tumblr media
Hm... why is that? Is it really only because of you not posting art regularly? Well, let me tell you a secret: If people love your art (and maybe you as the person you present on the social media), they will stay. But I assume, it is because of those tweets:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Talking about yourself, eh? You still haven't understood the game of action-reaction. People gave you a kind, constructive feedback. You insulted them. People asked you harmless questions or commented on your artworks (in a positive way!). You took it as criticism and set your white knights (flying monkeys) at those people.
Tine destroyed MANY LIVES by her entitled behavior! Be careful when interacting with her. As nice as her art may be, the worse the person behind it acts.
Guys, this was a first rant about a sheer ENDLESS topic... I know, I know, I didn't even scratch the surface... however, I don't want to have your time wasted entirely. So, here are some ways to deal with Tine/Devaniux:
She is the boss, you are nothing (you have to pay her... but you are still worthless :D)
She MUST be the center of attention! No exceptions!
You must kiss her ass 24/7. She says, life is pointless and she wants to kill herself? Well, promise to commission her and see how her mood changes.
Depression is a bitch. I have it myself and I can confirm how horrible it is. But you can learn how to deal with it. Talking about it is fine. But it is all to an extent. Be prepared, Tine uses her mental state to pressure you and abuse you emotionally.
If she ever opens a new discord, have your phone ready, take a screenshot of your timezone, post all your socials, your credit card number, your ID-card, and of course, your CV since your mother pushed you out. (I don't joke... okay, maybe a little.)
NEVER EVER talk about Yami Marik! That girl seriously gets hilariously mad if anyone dares to say "I like YM, too!" Don't! You will be blacklisted for all eternity.
Please don't mention that she once drew r*pe art, then felt uncomfortable with it and now does it again... she glorifies this act. I heard of victims who draw it as a way of therapy. But Chiine, oh Tine (those fucking self-inserts *rolls eyes*) actually wants to be taken by force - but only by Yami Marik ;)
Tine, my darling, I am sure you will read this. When you're not drawing, or threatening to kill yourself in front of real fans (that are too empathic and compassionate to sense the trap) you are out and scan the internet for posts like that about you, am I right? :)
You know how horrible you are. You know it deep inside your heart. And we know, you know. I am not alone... remember "S" and "T"? No? Nevermind. ;**
Oh, before I forget about it: Call me "K". ;)

T&B2 Thoughts: Episode 9 – Have not thy cloak to make when it begins to rain.
TIME FOR ANGST, BAY-BEE.
Tumblr media
- Love how they just show us Barnaby hitting the ground and rolling like a rag doll. Honestly it's a testament to how well-built Saito's suits are that he didn't fucking die without his powers activated. Holy shit.
- Related: How much do you think Kotetsu is beating himself up for not going with Barnaby when they split up in the museum? Because I bet it’s a lot.
Tumblr media
- The way it focuses on Kotetsu's reaction here—specifically the way he clenches his teeth—I just. I can't. Like not even he's the focus and we see the other heroes around him; they zoom entirely in so that we only see Kotetsu's reaction to this line. His reaction isn’t just the most important: it’s literally the only one that matters. I am completely normal about this.
- Also I will be real with you, the first time I watched this episode, I shouted, "NOW YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS ON THIS END, YOU SELF-SACRIFICING ASSHOLE." I was having a lot of emotions. I'm not proud.
- Okay look we saw Barnaby’s breakdown with Kotetsu nearly dying in his arms because his powers deactivated right before he got shot with a fuckoff giant laser gun (that Barnaby was firing), and now we’re seeing Kotetsu after Barnaby has been badly, badly injured because his powers deactivated right before a bomb went off that he was holding. Maybe this will help him take better care of himself in the future.
Tumblr media
- Yuri “I set murderers on fire in my spare time” Petrov, calmly advising the rest of the First League not to get carried away. The irony is so thick you could cut it with a machete.
Tumblr media
- This nurse looks like Melissa McCall and you will never take that away from me.
Tumblr media
- "We're not sure when he'll wake up" I KNOW WHEN HE WILL, IT'S BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE.
- Remember way back in episode 1 when I said "This kind of flashforward is one of my least favorite narrative tropes"? This!! This is why! We, the audience, know Barnaby wakes up and is back in action by December 24, because they showed us that at the very beginning of the season. So even though the characters don't (and can't) know that, we do and it takes away from some of the tension of having one half of your title duo in a fucking coma. For us, it's not if Barnaby is going to wake up; it's when.
Tumblr media
- And now in a reversal of the previous scene, they are very notably showing us everybody else's reaction to the news that Barnaby is in a coma and may not wake up, but having Kotetsu's face hidden, as he apparently just waits for someone to notice that he's wearing Barnaby's glasses.
Tumblr media
- I really love how all the older heroes react the way that Kotetsu expects them to with what they say, but you can see in their faces they know why he's being a dork about this: he’s trying to make them laugh and lighten the mood. And the younger heroes, of course, don't get it because they haven't known Kotetsu as long.
- And he says he's leaving to get some rest, which all the older heroes also know is absolute bullshit.
Tumblr media
- Sure enough, the next scene is him on the street, looking for Vincent Carl. Because Kotetsu is so action-oriented, he can't just sit by Barnaby's bedside while the man who put him there is still on the loose. He has to do something, and finding Vincent Carl is that something.
Tumblr media
- I AM HAVING SOME EMOTIONS.
- This is such a short scene but it's so packed with feelings. This is where Kotetsu shows how he's actually feeling: not in front of everybody else, where they'll worry about him, but when it's just him and Barnaby. Where he admits that it’s hard working alone, because after three years he’s used to having a partner, used to having Barnaby by his side. Where he quietly, heartbreakingly tells Barnaby that he needs to wake up, because they’re supposed to go out for drinks. And he's still hanging on to Barnaby's glasses, like it’s the only piece of him Kotetsu can touch right now.
Tumblr media
- FUCKING NOPE.
- Y'all know what my first thought was you know what it was.
Tumblr media
- Oh my God Kotetsu no
- I do kind of love that Yuri and Agnes figure out that he’s investigating Vincent Carl on his own in part because he lets fans take pictures with him while he’s out doing it. I love all the little reminders that Kotetsu is popular now (maybe not the most popular, but he definitely has some dedicated fans), and he hasn’t really changed anything about himself.
Tumblr media
- THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY'RE MARRIED, YURI.
Tumblr media
- Aw Cat honey. She's so scared during all of this, and can you blame her? She’s getting a very harsh look at what it is to be a hero, and she’s already been nervous all season, so this is just really amping it up.
- And the hell of it is, you know that Kid’s got to be worried, too, but she’s learned how to compartmentalize and stay focused on what she can do. I really, really love them and I love seeing Kid as a senpai this season, with a younger teammate that she’s having to look out for.
- Also the charm Kid has for her is the cutest thing.
- I know there’s a lot of focus on Kotetsu for obvious reasons, but seriously, none of the heroes are handling Barnaby’s hospitalization very well. It’s really shaken them, especially the younger ones.
Tumblr media
- You're going to forcibly inject a dude with a drug you know nothing about yes I think this counts as harassment.
- OUROBOROS IS FUNDING MATTIA'S RESEARCH!! I feel like this should've been less of a surprise for me. XD
Tumblr media
- Ugh Kotetsu answering Kaede's call so brightly, and Kaede sitting there with the news in front of her about Barnaby's surgery because she knows, she knows her dad isn't handling this well, no matter how he's acting. And she calls because she wants to check on him. Yes, she wants to know how Barnaby is doing, but more important, she wants to know how her dad is doing. And the latter is what surprises Kotetsu.
- Honestly I love every scene between Kotetsu and Kaede in this season (in the whole series, tbh), but this one in particular again shows how much more...equal they are now, if that makes sense. Obviously he’s still the dad and she’s still the daughter, but Kotetsu is a lot more honest and isn’t hiding as much in a misguided bid to protect her. And Kaede really sits with how hard this job is, the one that she says she wants to do.
Tumblr media
- My gosh, how fast Kotetsu comes in and takes this guy down, and also, notably, without losing his cool. It's in stark contrast to Thomas in the last episode. Yes, Kotetsu's older, but even when he's furious (and he is absolutely furious here), he's got lines he won't cross.
Like. It would be astonishingly easy to hit Carl hard enough to kill him with a Hundred Power punch, but Kotetsu strikes him with exactly enough power to only knock him out (and, in fact, without actually hurting him enough to keep him down for more than a few seconds, since Carl escapes less than a minute after this). It is amazing how much control he has over himself and his powers even when he is facing down the person who put his partner in a coma.
Kotetsu doesn't usually wait for the cameras or anything, but he doesn't even tell Agnes he's not waiting; he only lets her know that it’s over once he's got Carl down.
Tumblr media
- And we end with the TWINS BEING FUCKING CREEPY AGAIN. GAH.

MY TYPE | JJK
Tumblr media
One Shot
▽ summary: you’ve never liked fuckboys, especially one Jeon Jungkook. But when you find yourself late at night playing a game of seven minutes in heaven with your college friends, things take a different turn.
▽ genre: porn with very little plot, college au
▽ pairings: fuckboy|jk x fem!reader
▽ words: 2192
▽ warnings: implied alcohol use, jk jerked off to your insta pics (y/n living the dream), oral sex (m receiving, deep throating), unprotected sex, lots of cum, dirty talk, nipple play, jk has a big dick
A chorus of ooohs filled the messy living room in which you and your friends were sitting in circle. It was late and most of the party guests had already gone back home, leaving just a small bunch of you and a pile of garbage all over the house. You would have gladly leave the place way earlier if it wasn’t for your best friend Se-mi, who you promised to drive back home. She insisted in staying longer to hit on Min Yoongi, one of your fellow classmates from the same major, but the guy seemed to barely notice. He might even been interested in her for all you knew: there was no way of telling, since he was always so introverted. The only person he spoke to was his disaster of a friend, Jeon Jungkook, the campus playboy.
How do they even get along? They have literally nothing in common.
And you knew this, since you had been often paired with Yoongi for some group projects during the years. The guy was cool. He was really smart and funny when you actually got to know him. He just didn’t open up easily. That’s why, even though you’ve had the opportunity to chat with him several times, you couldn’t really say you two were friends.
But back to the ooohs. The reason behind that childish reaction was to trace in the empty bottle of beer who had just stop spinning, pointing at you and the infamous Jeon Jungkook, who was having the time of his life – judging from the mischievous grin on his face.
You weren’t blind, you knew he was hot as fuck, but he was way too aware of his good looks and terribly overconfident. He was known to have slept with most girls on campus, and you were pretty sure he was more dedicated to keep his record than to actually graduate. Which, for a good student like you, was infuriating.
You had always found him annoying and obnoxious. And on top of that, you couldn’t figure out how girls seemed to fall for his cheesy lines every single time, throwing themselves at him like he was the only guy with a dick.
Sure, you didn’t really knew the guy, but in your opinion there wasn’t much to know about him. He was a cliché. And you couldn’t help but roll your eyes every time he tried to hit on you. Because he did. Of course he did. You were just his favorite type of prey: one that was not easy to catch.
“Well, you know the rules, guys. The closet is right at the end of the corridor. You have to stay in there for seven minutes. If you get out earlier, you have to kiss in front of everybody for the remaining time. And if you don’t get out.. well.. good for you.”
“Don’t worry, Jimin. Seven minutes are more than enough.” You said with a sarcastic tone, giving him a fake smile while you got up and adjusted your skirt.
Jungkook scoffed, getting up and leaning closer to your ear to talk in a low voice, but loud enough for the others to hear.
“You must have had some pretty lame sex if you think so. Hope I’ll change your mind.”
“You’re disgusting.”
And that’s how you found yourself sharing the tightest possible space with a known fuckboy like Jeon Jungkook.
As soon as you entered the closet, you pushed your back against one of the walls, folding your arms to your chest to make him understand in every possible way that you weren’t going to give into any of his shenanigans. Stupid move, since your shirt was a bit low-cut and that only made your tits pop up even more, looking like a four course meal to the blatant gaze of Jungkook.
“No class to run to this time, mh?” he immediately uttered, giving you a malicious smile while leaning with his shoulder against the door frame.
“Unfortunately.”
He rolled his eyes, darkened even more by the dim light of the small space you were both trapped in.
“Oh come on, do you really want to turn this game into seven minutes in hell? You don’t necessarily have to be a mood killer.”
“I just don’t like you, Jungkook. I know you are not used to hear it, but that’s just how it is.”
Your comeback didn’t seem to affect him at all. If anything, he just made him chuckle and slightly shake his head.
Seriously? You are that full of yourself?
“Ok, so it’s another Y/L/N Y/N who liked my photo at the gym from three years ago and then changed her whole profile in a ridiculous attempt to hide it.”
Your eyes widened and your cheeks turned suddenly red. You got caught.
“It was a mistake.” You tried to explain yourself, knowing too well that there was nothing you could say to go back from that.
He raised his eyebrow, looking straight at you from underneath his eyelashes.
“You scrolled through all my Instagram profile by mistake?”
No you didn’t. You just got curious. That’s the kind of shit you did at three in the morning when you couldn’t sleep. You just find yourself looking for weird stuff on the internet and scrolling through profiles of people you barely knew for no apparent reason. It was just a bonus point the fact that Jungkook’s profile was full of pictures of his body sculped by the gods. Sure, you were annoyed by his attitude, but you were still a woman.
“And you did it so very late at night, if I might add.” He said, taking a step forward towards you. “What were you doing, Y/N? Looking for something interesting?”
You blushed so hard that you were pretty sure he could see the redness in your cheeks even despite the poor lighting in the closet. But you couldn’t help but stare at him in the eyes like a deer caught in headlights, unable to look away from his hypnotic gaze.
“I wasn’t.” You murmured, defensively.
“You don’t have to feel ashamed, you know? I was awake too – thank God, if I might add. I would have missed it otherwise. I would have found myself locked out of that mysterious profile, unable to look at your cute pictures.” He paused, leaning way too close to your face. “Don’t tell anyone, but I had some fun with those.”
Normally, you would have told him that he was sickening, but for some reason you felt a pleasant warmth irradiating in your belly. You couldn’t help but picture him jerking off to your photos, and it wasn’t sickening at all. If anything, it was weirdly enticing.
He rested his palm on the wall, right next to your face, and looked down at your body like he was ready to devour it in one bite.
“I recognized the skirt, you know?”
You didn’t remember wearing it in one of your pictures, but it was plausible: that skirt was one of your favorites. Cute and short, but not too revealing.
“Well, I hope you saved the picture, because that’s all you’re gonna get.”
This was your response, when you actually found the courage to talk. But your voice was so low and shaky that you found it hard yourself to believe your own words. Of course he didn’t fall for it.
“Are you sure?”
You bit your lip, nodding in a last ridiculous attempt to give yourself a standoffish look, which again he didn’t buy at all.
He got even closer, slightly pressing his body against yours until your heavy breaths were melting into one another and you could feel his hardness on your stomach.
You did not respond. You were brain dead. All you could feel was your core painfully clenching around nothing and your blood flowing down to your lower belly, emptying your head of any thought beside those filled with the desire to feel his body.
“Mh.. okay..” he said, gently resting his hand on your thigh and starting to go further up with an excruciating slow pace. “So you don’t like this.”
It wasn’t a question, but it was clear he was looking for a reply you were unable to give. A soft moan escaped your lips at his gentle touch, which you didn’t move away from. A silent green light for him to go even further up, taking his caress under the hem of your skirt until his digits were brushing the damp fabric of your underwear.
“You want me to stop, Y/N?”
His words were a mere whisper against your lips to which you couldn't help but faintly gasp.
“No.” You found yourself saying, right before being cut off by the kiss he gave you, pressing his lips against yours and spreading them open for his tongue to enter your mouth.
You moaned, melting like pudding against his body while his fingers started drawing slow circles on your sensitive clit.
“For someone who finds me disgusting you got yourself soaking wet pretty fast, princess.”
His provocative words only got you wetter and needier, pushing you to the edge of your psychological barricade. Your hands rushed to his belt, unbuckling it with fast and sloppy movements until you could zip down his jeans, letting his hard cock spring free in front of you.
Fuck he’s big.
He seemed to have somehow read your thoughts in your eyes, since he chuckled, guiding your hand to wrap around his width and slightly moving it up and down while letting out a raspy moan.
“Are you gonna be a good girl and take me in your mouth, princess?”
You licked your lips, looking up at him with your eyes filled with lust while you slowly got to your knees. You never broke eye contact, pumping him slowly but steadily before swirling your tongue around the tip of his cock, covered with precum.
“Tastes good?”
“Mhmh.” You nodded with a mischievous smile on your face.
Your mouth soon wrapped around his cock, taking it all in until you started gaggin a bit for the length. A reaction which made him moan loudly and grab your hair, steadying his grip in order to guide your head in the increasing pace.
“Fuck your mouth feels so good.”
“You like it? Is this what you pictured while jerking off to my photos?” You said during a small pause, not even giving him the time to respond with anything but a loud moan, since you immediately got back to deep throating his cock like it was your last meal.
“Fuck I’m close.”
Those words only made you move faster, keeping your eyes locked with his to take in every ounce of pleasure you could get from him. And at that point there wasn’t much he could do to hold back. You suddenly felt his hot semen spilling down your throat.
However, you only had the time to swallow before he leaned down, wrapping his arm around your waist and lifting you up with ridiculous ease.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and your legs around his waist, letting him push you against the wall and move your wet panties to the side to sink deep inside your throbbing core.
You let out a sharp moan, welcoming his size between your tight walls with pleasurable pain. One of his hands got under your shirt and bra, squeezing your breast and tracing circles with his thumb on your hard nipple.
“Look at you. You got so wet just by sucking my cock, baby?”
His words were again a lustful whisper against your parted lips, but you were unable to respond – your voice cut by the deep thrusts he was torturing you with. You were sure, however, that the lewd sounds of your wetness were enough of an answer to him.
“Such a pretty little slut. What are you gonna tell the others when they’ll see my cum dripping down your thighs?”
You moaned loudly, helping his pace with the movements of your own hips to take him even deeper.
“I’m gonna tell them that this lame sex little slut made you come twice in a row.”
He groaned, thrusting harder in you.
“You are so fucking hot.”
The pace got quicker and quicker until you found yourself out of breath, calling his name in between moans while your legs started shivering, signaling your forthcoming orgasm. And when it came, it hit you like a train, making you grab his hair and moan loudly while your walls clenched around his cock. You felt him twitch inside you until he sank deep with sloppy thrusts, releasing his orgasm inside you with a raspy moan.
You two took some moments to relax your racing heartbeats, leaning against each other's forehead with eyes closed and heavy breaths.
When you felt again capable of speaking, you let out a pretty laugh, pressing your palm against his cheek.
“Hope this memory will serve you well for your future lonely nights.”
He laughed, caressing your nose with the tip of his.
“Trust me, this won’t stay in the past.”
“Jerkass.”
“Nerd.”

Draw your swords, pt. 5
Tumblr media
Summary: A very special dinner brings a very special moment for the Darkling and his wife.
Warnings: angst, sexual innuendoes, swearing, bit of fluff
Part one // Part two // Part three // Part four
=================================
She felt caught in the riptide, finding it hard to stay upright. As the daughter of a general, Y/N had seen so many evils, so much hurt, yet she never buckled under pressure.
Staring at the empty spot beside her, she laid there while battling shadows in her head. So filled with rage, she wondered who she’s becoming as a part of her longed to feel his touch. Perhaps he was right, she’s a foolish girl who is trying to win a game where the rules are nonexistent.
Having stayed awake most of the previous night, she didn’t expect trouble sleeping. With a heavy sigh, she abandoned the bed they shared – it felt too intimate to remain there now. They’ve only ever kissed and it was never planned nor did it happen in the very bed she felt is so incredibly vast, so lonely and cold when he didn’t stay there with her.
Pacing the room as she saw his shadow do the night before, Y/N couldn’t help but wonder if he had trouble sleeping alone too. It was less than a full week since they married and she already cursed the smallest part of her that seemed to care for him.
Men are easy to love. A woman’s heart was made to care and love those near her. Mistaking love and trust is what a woman should never do. Love and trust are separate entities, one is given, the other must be earned.
Remembering her mother’s words eased her self-loathing. If she dared to love the Darkling, it wasn’t entirely under her control. Trusting him was different. She wasn’t as naïve as to allow the echoes of her heart dictate what her mind long acknowledged – he isn’t trustworthy.
And as the stars rise in the sky, she paced the room tirelessly. Arguing with herself, she paid no mind to the night sky she loved so much. If she had, Y/N might have realized a man with dark skies for eyes had trouble looking away from her shadow.
Exhausted, Y/N rose with the dawn. She had barely scraped up a few hours of decent sleep, tormented by his words even in dreams.
“Enter”, she yawned as Genya readily walked inside. The maids rushed to the bed, willing to change the bed sheets they couldn’t last time as Y/N had sent them away.
“Stop!” She exclaims as they reach Kirigan’s side of the bed, a slightly panicked look on her face relaying uncontrollable desires she had no chance of understanding.
Frowning, Genya licked her lips. While Y/N wasn’t sure what caused her outburst, she believed to know the root. “Leave us. You will be asked to change the sheets when Y/N desires it.”
Swallowing thickly, Y/N turned away. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be”, Genya mussed. “We have a dinner to prepare you for.”
“Yes, of course.” Y/N managed a smile, briefly looking to Genya. “I’ll be alone which gives me a perfect chance to find new allies.”
Blinking fast, Genya’s frown deepened. “I’m not sure who could ally with us in the Palace. Everyone’s charmed by our General. If you’d just work with him, they would all be with you too.”
“He works for the emperor.” Y/N reminded her.
Running her hands through her hair, Y/N didn’t know if she could ever trust him enough to tell him the truth. Her plans, her fight, it’s her life’s work. She came into that palace with intention of burning it down. The emperor must die and anyone else who’d fuel the flames of war must perish along with him. The war had claimed her mother’s life, of thousands of humans and Grisha alike, Y/N aimed to end it. And to end it, she had to destroy those who started it, those who refused to implement equality between species, as Kirigan called them. Humans and Grisha must be seen equally worthy, they must ally or they will be exterminated like vermin by surrounding enemies.
She grieved for her mother every day, even now as a decade had passed. Grief is really just love one cannot give to the other. It’s all the unspent love, gathering in the corners of her eyes, the lump in her throat and inside the hollowed heart that’s trying to beat in her chest. If her sorrow was but snow that could melt with coming spring, she’d shake it off her shoulder and be done with it. It doesn’t just disappear or heal with time, she could not just let it go and forgive. Y/N survived the loss of her mother by making a vow, one she was closer to fulfilling.
“Should I prepare your usual kefta?” Genya asked, holding the blue one over her forearm.
Shaking her head, Y/N turned to her with a smile. If she wants to succeeded, she must use all weapons at hand. Being the General’s wife is one of the weapons at her disposal.
“I was thinking about a different color for tonight.”
“How different are we talking?”
Smirking, Y/N’s eyes flickered to Kirigan’s kefta. “Black.”
“No one wears black but Kirigan”, Genya reminds her.
“Until he married. I believe I’m allowed to wear his color.”
Pinching the bridge of her nose, Genya sighed heavily. “Alright. As long as you allow me to make a few modifications.”
Anticipating the dinner, Y/N felt like a goddess in the kefta Genya had crafted for her. It fit her perfectly, adjusted just above the waist as it properly accentuated her curves. The closed collar wrapped around her neck, fallen stars creating a golden woven blaze as a necklace, while moondust adorned the long, skin tight lacey sleeves. The bottom acted as a floor length dress with a long slit revealing skin up to middle of her thigh.
Entering the room with her head held high and Genya on her hand, Y/N felt even more confident about the eclipsed sun stitched across her heart. It was bound to attract attention if the rest of her makeshift kefta inspired dress didn’t.
The moment she took a step inside, everybody’s head turned. The chatter died down, replaced by astonished gasps of pure awestruck admiration.
“I believe you’ve created a masterpiece”, Y/N whispers to Genya whose smile widens.
“You are what makes it so spectacular”, Genya winks.
“Don’t be modest. We both know it’s not in your nature.”
Giggling, Genya nods, “You’re right. I’m brilliant and this”, she steps aside to give her a once over again, “You are proof.”
Pursing her lips, Y/N felt her cheeks darken. Her plan was to draw attention so any potential ally she speaks to would be more inclined to accept her request, but she didn’t expect for everyone to stop and stare.
Tugging her by the arm, Genya pulled her closer. “You’ll never guess who is here”, she spoke in a hushed tone, looking to the left as the rest of the guests began speaking again and the music played softly in the background.
Following her line of view, Y/N’s heart came to a near stop as her eyes locked on his.
“Wasn’t he supposed to leave last night?” Genya whispers, but Y/N could hardly speak.
Breath caught in her throat, Y/N stared back at Kirigan who seemed to be just as breathless. She looked like a dream, a golden bird that carried all the happiness of the world on its wings.
“He didn’t”, Y/N looked away, knitting her eyebrows. “Why didn’t he”, she tried to finish her initial thought, but she couldn’t. If she spoke of the sudden ache that settled after the initial shock of his presence dispersed, she’d hate herself more. She’s weak if her feelings are hurt by a single night spent alone in a bed. She was certain now. She is foolish.
“You won’t be able to network tonight”, Genya’s frown made Y/N chuckle.
“You’ve been frowning so often since we met.”
Shrugging, Genya leaned in discreetly. “I can afford a few worry lines. I’ll just erase them later.”
Playfully rolling her eyes, Y/N smiled brightly. She would not allow Kirigan to dampen her mood. He can stay on his side of the room and she won’t spare him a single glance.
“I’ll test the waters”, Genya promised, “If I find anyone that we can work with, we can test their loyalty later.”
Glancing over Y/N’s shoulder, Genya’s eyes widened ever so slightly.
Frowning lightly, Y/N glanced at what has her so perplexed only to huff in frustration.
“Black suits you”, the Darkling compliments her. Holding out a hand for her to take, he glances at his open palm before raising his brow. He’s challenging her.
Looking around, she realizes everyone’s waiting for her reaction. As he told her once before, they may not be a love match, but their arrangement must seem successful to the unsuspecting eye.
“Dance with me and pretend they don’t exist”, his voice softened and she couldn’t believe this is the same man who so cruelly baited her, branding her as foolish earlier. How can he act as if nothing happened when she was still reeling from it? Not that he’d know, she always put care in every move she made around him.
She placed her hand on the palm of his, holding her breath as she chained her gaze to the abyss in his. There’s no going back, she thinks, nearly shuddering as he places his free hand on her hip.
“I thought you were gone by now”, she mussed. Choosing to take control of the conversation, she kept her neck straight as it secured a proper distance between their faces.
“We had a slight delay”, he said, “I’ll be gone tonight.”
Humming, she swallowed thickly. Avoiding looking at others, she remained in a staring match with her husband.
“How did you sleep?” The Darkling smirked, watching her eyes narrow at him.
“Quite well. Did you enjoy sharing your bed with someone else?” While her voice seemed cold and unattached, her words were anything but.
“Do I detect a hint of jealousy there?” Pursing his lips, he nearly laughed as she stepped on his foot. “I’ll take that as yes.”
“I’m merely concerned how it would look if word of you sleeping elsewhere got out. I prefer my pride and honor untouched and if you choose to find a lover, I should assume you’ll be discreet.”
Licking his lips, the great general didn’t laugh at her or sneer. There was no angry squinting or vile words. For once, he had a serious expression on his face that had nothing to do with the army or their arguments.
“I’m not the kind who would seek a lover while married. Even if the marriage is a mere arrangement.”
Scoffing, she clenched her jaw as he pulled her waist closer to him.
“How many lovers have you taken?”
He raised a brow, “That’s a horrible question.”
“Because you lost count?” She narrows her eyes, the lips he found himself so fascinated with formed a thin, red line.
He doesn’t respond, so she tried again, “Why have you not married before?”
Now he looked amused, “That’s even worse!”
Shrugging, she smirks, “Well, ask me a question then! If all mine are so awful, let me hear yours.”
“Do you think I’m a very good liar or a very unlovable being?” Slowly pulling her body flush against his, Darkling looked deep into her eyes. “I’ve never loved anyone and I’ve manipulated everyone who has fallen in love with me. So?” Inhaling sharply, he watched a disarray of emotions cross her face as he asked again, “Liar or unlovable?”
“A liar. Because you are lying, not just to me but yourself.” Her breathing is shallow, strained even. “You have a heart, General, but you’re cowering like a scared little boy instead of just facing the facts.”
“And what are those?” His voice is darker as are his intentions.
If they were alone, she was certain he’d be kissing her lips now. For some reason, it seemed he enjoyed their arguments. He liked it when she fought him almost like he didn’t know any other form of affection.
“That you care. You care and you hate yourself for it.” Stopping their dance, she managed a faint smile. “But don’t worry, I’m not spending my time waiting for you to accept it.”
Brushing his fingers across the left side of her face, he cocked his head ever so slightly, “Is it possible you’ve got this all wrong? From where I stand, you’re the one who cares – perhaps a bit too much? Let me remind you, this marriage is a sham. You are my wife, but I do not love you, I do not care for you and if you were killed right in this very spot, I would avenge you but solely for the arrangement to remain unsullied.”
Nodding, more to herself than him, she took a step back from him. For the first time ever, she drew back. “For once, we’re on the same page of the same book.”
The music stops. Looking to the man clinking his glass, Y/N’s lips part. She didn’t even realize it, but too often she entirely forgoes breathing in Kirigan’s presence.
Taking a deep breath, she nearly laughs. Kirigan…General…The Darkling. She even called him husband, yet she never even heard his first name. How odd is it to marry a man whose first name is a mystery to you, she thought.
“If you’ll excuse me”, she nods curtly without sparing him a glance.
Her seat at the dinner table was beside Genya, while Kirigan was placed all the way on the other side of the room. She smirked, satisfied she’ll have some peace during her meal. She never quite liked the table formation in a wide U form before, but she blessed the ones who created it on this evening.
Studying him from afar, she couldn’t deny the attraction she felt for him. It wasn’t some cosmic connection that she hoped she’d share with her husband, rather wishful thinking. Longing for him is out of the question. He may be the most handsome man she had ever seen, but it’s not at all something she’d thank the saints for. If he were less appealing, she’d at least be free of torment his looks bring. The devil is real and he’s not a goat like man as humans believed. There are no horns, no tails – he’s beautiful, a fallen angel, but an angel nonetheless.
“You’re staring at him again”, Genya speaks in a hushed tone, her smile audible.
“I’m not”, Y/N replies, “I simply looked over in a direction and he happened to be seated there.”
“Then why was that look on your face?” Genya raises an eyebrow.
“What?” Y/N asks, incredulous. “What look?”
“You have a certain way of looking at him”, she informs. Letting out an tired huff, Genya explains, “You look at him and it’s like you’re staring at the night sky littered with stars.”
“So?”
Genya looks down before whispering, “You love night skies littered with stars.”
Rolling her eyes, Y/N stared at her food for the rest of the evening. One bite after another and her plate was quickly emptied. Her stomach felt like it would burst, but she didn’t care. Most people claim they can’t eat under stress, but she was the opposite – her appetite only grew.
“He’s standing up”, Genya informed her and despite wishing she remained impassive, Y/N’s eyes shot up to where he was sitting.
With a lump at the back of her throat, she watched him as he headed to the door. A part of her hoped he’d be decent enough to bid his farewell, to acknowledge her at least. That part of her needed to be destroyed, she decided. It’s the part of her that would ruin her mission and for what? If she truly wanted to, she could have him on his back and under her. If she wanted him, he’d be hers – at least his body would. The principle she held onto was more important and so, she swallowed thickly and looked to her empty plate in order to stop her weakness from showing.
As she looked away, the Darkling looked back at her from across the room. He felt a strange tightness in his heart and once he saw she didn’t follow him with her gaze, his heart dropped. Furrowing his eyebrows, he kept his gaze on her for a while longer – her beauty was unmatched by anything he had ever seen. White looked good on her, every color did – but black fabric hugging her curves could bring a dead man back to life.
With a heavy heart and frown etched on his face, the Darkling turned his back and left the room, the Palace, the strangest, most beautiful creature he ever laid eyes on.
He carried her in his thoughts ever since. It aggravates him how quickly she’s gotten under his skin. Most of the month before their marriage was finalized was spent in petty comments about their armies or their distaste for one another. She was insufferable, maddening and entirely different from what he expected.
And yet, even then, the Darkling hoped she’d lose her patience and either leave or tell him she loves him. If she left, he’d be free of her and the shackles of an undesirable marriage, but if she told him she loves him, perhaps he’d believe her. If he knew there was ever a possibility of her loving him, he’d dare assume he might be deserving of love – because she may have dubbed him a liar, but he believes himself to be unlovable too. He never saw the point in allowing himself to feel a thing for her when it would be futile, wasted emotions on a woman sworn to hate him.
Once he was done chasing a rumor of a stag up north, the Darkling had to accept it too was a futile. Going after a legendary animal wasted so much of his time that he couldn’t even believe how foolish he’s become too. The stag must not be real after all.
Approaching Little Palace, he felt almost eager to run up to their shared chambers and see her. Even if she’d likely have a few choice words for him, he hoped he could make her blood boil just to hear her speak. He’d never admit it, but he missed someone he could converse with without dying of boredom.
“General”, Genya rushed to Kirigan who nearly growled at the distraction. However, Genya seemed distraught, panicked enough to draw his attention.
“Yes?”
Swallowing thickly, she wiped a stray tear slipping down her cheek. “It’s Y/N.”
His heart stops at the sound of her shaky voice, his jaw clenching before speaking. “What happened? Is she alright?”
“She went for a ride this morning and she hasn’t been seen since.”
Darkling’s gaze hardens as he grips Genya’s arms and shakes her lightly. “What do you mean?!”
“We sent riders after lunch, because I was worried she missed two meals already”, gasping for air, Genya’s tears made tracks, “The snow covered her tracks.”
She left me, he thought. She deemed me unlovable, unworthy. She left.
“They managed to find her mare”, Genya continues through tears, “It was decapitated and left in the woods.”
“Woods?” He frowns, wondering why she’d stray from the meadow and then he realized. He’s the one she rode into the woods with. She must have thought the woods were safe. They were at the time, only because he was with her and he’d never let any harm come to her.
“There were signs of struggle, but the snow is making it hard for us to track them.”
Releasing a visibly shaken Genya, he grunts. Biting his lower lip, he paced before her as his hand ran through his hair. She never saw him so worried, so mad before. He looked like a man walking a fine line – a line between madness and sanity.
“Call everyone”, he orders, “We must find her.”
Exhaling in relief, Genya smiled as Ivan emerged, having heard everything.
“Why would we do that?”
A pause ensues as the Darkling takes a step toward Ivan. “I haven’t made a promise in so long”, he spoke but in truth, it’s been hundreds of years since he made anyone a promise. “I promised her I’d protect her.” His voice was ragged, but controlled. “So I’m making a new promise right here, if they harm a single hair on her head, I will end them all. I will do it with a smile on face and I will bathe in their blood!”
They took her from him and he had every intention of ripping the world apart with his bare hands and for once, the thought of how far he’d go for that insolent woman didn’t frighten him. He barely knows her, he certainly doesn’t love her, but Saints help those who touched his wife.

Salt, Sugar and Viruses
Pairing: Office!Bucky Barnes x Reader
Summary: You’ve been secretly making coffee for Bucky at the office.
Word Count: 1,962
Warnings: Two idiots just doing idiot things
A/N: This was done in a haste so I kinda hate it lol but I can’t get this story out of my head and thanks to @bitchassbucky for pushing me to write a full fic of this 🥰 luv u 🥺
MAIN MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
"You have a crush on Barnes' grumpy ass?!" Sam choked out.
You angrily hushed him and frantically looked around the pantry to make sure that your secret was still safe. Fortunately, only you, Sam and Nat were inside having your respective afternoon breaks.
"What? He's nice. And cute." you told Sam as you stirred your coffee, smiling to yourself at the thought of your office crush, Bucky.
"How'd you even meet him, he works all the way at the IT department." Sam asked.
Nat snorted recalling the encounters she witnessed for the past few months. Some of which were unintentional but most of them? You had carefully planned out just so you could come up with an excuse to request for Bucky's assistance.
"She might have gotten viruses in her computer once...or twice. Or thrice." Nat teased.
The first time you met Bucky was when most of your files suddenly got corrupted. It was hella embarrassing because you didn't know shit about how computers worked and well, you've been illegally downloading torrents since the office's internet connection was a gift from the internet gods. Without a doubt, your computer was a nest for viruses.
Bucky showed up in your floor that morning and you almost sunk into your seat from shame. You'd heard the IT Department complain about everybody else in the office messing up their computer systems. When you turned around, Bucky greeted you with a charming smile and soft hello. You could still remember how he felt when he stayed behind you as you sat on your chair, bending over to take your mouse in his hand.
God, he smelled so good you almost turned your head to nuzzle your face into his neck.
He was very soft-spoken you realized; Bucky was kind enough to walk you through the process and to be honest, you couldn't recall a damn thing he said. Something about firewalls? And shields? Whatever, you didn't really listen. You just stared at Bucky as he explained everything, solving your problem in less than fifteen minutes.
Since then, your crush for Bucky grew bigger. You'd entered the elevator together a couple of times, shared small conversations that made your heart flutter. When those little moments didn't seem enough, you started your devious plan to fuck up your computer a bit. By the third time Bucky fixed your computer, he was already comfortable enough to tease you for being a "virus magnet".
"Hello? Young lady, come back to earth." Sam snapped his finger right in front of your face, interrupting your thoughts.
You clicked your tongue at him and swatted his hand away. "If you ever tell this to anyone, Wilson. You are dead." you warned, poinitng a finger at him.
Sam rolled his eyes, "It's so unfair how he's kind to you. Last time I requested for his assistance he got all smug and grumpy at me." he complained.
Nat shook her head in amusment, "That's because you've been downloading porn. You know the IT department can access our browser histories, right?"
You choked on your coffe, "WHAT?!"
Nat narrowed her eyes at you, "You been up to no good for you to react like that?"
You faceplamed, "I've been stalking his Facebook account."
Sam chortled, "What are you, in high school? Jesus, calm down. You're gonna be fine. Why don't you just tell him you like him?"
You made a face, "I'm not Nat to have the guts to do that."
Nat hummed, bringing her mug to the sink to wash it. "Why don't you start by making him coffee?"
"I don't know how he likes his coffee."
You received a pointed look from both your friends. You groaned in defeat, "Okay, fine. I know how Bucky likes his coffee."
Nat smirked, "Stalker."
-
Bucky always arrived in the office half an hour before nine in the morning. This gives him time to settle into his cubicle, buy a sandwich at the stall downstairs and to make himself a cup of coffee. It was his daily routine and upon going back to his desk after buying his breakfast sandwich, Bucky was surprised to see a cup of newly brewed coffee on his desk.
He looked around but there were no signs of anyone. There wasn't even a note of some sort. Carefully, he brought the cup to his face and inhaled its scent. Shrugging, he took a tiny sip.
-
"How's the little secret admirer doing?" Nat asked, grabbing a chair and sitting down beside you.
You deadpanned, "I've been leaving him his coffee for an entire week now and nothing's happened yet."
Nat frowned, "Are you kidding me? Why would you expect for something to happen when you haven't been leaving any clues?" she said.
"I'm shy, okay?! Maybe I should hide somewhere, check for his reaction. See whether I have a chance." you shrugged.
It was stupid of you to leave the coffee on Bucky's desk. You never stayed to wait for him. You just left it there without a note or anything that would even give him a clue about you and your little crush on him. You knew the reason why, of course. You were afraid of rejection. Sometimes, you'd feel like you have a chance with him since he was always so kind and warm to you. Not to mention, everyone in the office knows him to be grumpy but around you, he was totally the opposite of that.
But then again, maybe he was just nice to you because you were nice to him too.
-
One morning after leaving Bucky his coffee, you finally decided to leave him a note. You ran back to your cubicle to get a post-it and a pen. Before you could even walk around your desk, you spotted Bucky headed over to the pantry, the cup of coffee in his hand.
"Fuck, okay. Maybe I should just directly ask him out?" you thought to yourself.
You quickly followed Bucky into the pantry and almost whined when you saw that Sam was inside as well. You widened your eyes at him, signalling for him to leave but Sam was preoccupied on observing Bucky who seemed to be in a bad mood.
"Rough morning?" Sam just had to ask as you awkwardly stood by the doorway, finding the right timing to butt in.
Bucky's forehead creased as he let out a huff, "Rough weeks, actually." he answered.
You opened your mouth to say something comforting, wanting to lift Bucky's spirits up but he turned around and glanced at you and then back to Sam.
"Does anyone hate me in this office?" Bucky asked.
You and Sam exchanged looks, both of utter confusion before shaking your heads in unison. "Why'd you ask?" Sam asked.
Bucky lifted the cup of coffee that you made, "Someone's been making me coffee." he stated.
You cleared your throat, "...is it bad?" you asked.
Bucky made a face, "Terrible actually."
Ouch.
"I mean, the first time I saw it I was actually flattered. And then I took a sip and it's just...salty." Bucky said, pouring the coffee into the sink before throwing it into the bin.
Sam's head snapped towards your direction, his face almost red from biting back a laugh. Your face heated up at the realization that you've been putting salt into Bucky's coffee instead of sugar. All this time. You wanted to disappear right then and there. And Sam had to be the one to witness your huge failure.
"I thought it was a mistake since the next day, there was another coffee on my desk. I tried it out and it's still salty. It lasted a week, you guys. And I was dumb enough to keep on tasting it in hopes that it might have been a genuine mistake. But now I'm starting to think that someone hates me that much to fuck my coffee up." Bucky explained, face scrunched up into a mixture of irritation and curiosity.
Sam failed to stifle his laughter and exploded, "Funniest shit I've ever heard." he told Bucky before standing up and making his way to the door where you stood.
Your face was red and if the salt and sugar mishap was already humiliating enough, Sam decided to make things even worse for you.
"You really need to check the labels before pouring shit into his coffee." and with that, Sam gave your shoulder a squeeze before leaving the pantry.
Closing your eyes, you took a deep breath and tried to calm yourself. When you opened them, Bucky was staring at you with an expression you couldn't paint.
"Did you...were you the one leaving me coffee?" he asked.
You secretly pinched yourself in the arm to check whether you were just dreaming. Fuck, you hoped you were having a nightmare but the pain that you felt made it clear that you totally fucked up.
You nodded in embarrassment.
"You hate me that much?" Bucky asked in disbelief, as if he was offended that out of all people, it had to be you.
You quickly shook your head, "No, God no! I just...it's because I..." you stammered, trying to find the courage to spit out the words you've been dying to tell Bucky.
Bucky tilted his head, "Because you...?" he urged.
Your hands balled into fists as you let out another deep breath. Bucky probably hates you right now, but whatever. This was your only chance and to hell, you were going to confess.
"Because I like you?"
You didn't think that Bucky's confused look could even turn more...well, confused. But he was looking at you incredulously as though you've grown a second head, or a third head.
"You like me so you decided to put salt in my coffee?" he asked again.
You honestly didn't know who sounded even more stupid now, you or Bucky. Because if he still didn't understand what was going on, he was dense as fuck.
"No!" you explained. "I wanted to make you a decent cup of coffee but I guess I was too careless and didn't realize that I've been putting in salt instead of sugar." you said.
Bucky didn't say anything after that. He just stared at you, but he didn't seem confused anymore. If any, he looked like he was processing the entire situation.
"You like me." he stated again.
Will your embarrassment ever end?!
"Yes, Bucky. And I messed up my chance and you know what? I'm just going to show myself out and leave you alone." you told him and forced a fake grin before attempting to walk out.
A hand gripped your wrist, pulling you back into the pantry. This time, Bucky was the one who looked embarrassed.
"I might have...done something pretty stupid too." he said, avoiding your gaze as he rubbed the back of his neck.
You eyed him suspiciously, "What do you mean?"
"I uhh...I did something to your computer...the day before you requested for my assistance for the first time." Bucky admitted shyly.
It was your turn to get muddled at Bucky's confession. "But why?" you asked.
Bucky offered a shy smile, "Because I've been seeing you around the building and thought you were cute."
And then everything clicked. It was a light bulb moment for the both of you.
"Oh. Ohhh okay. I see." you said before suddenly breaking into laughter.
Bucky joined you and scratched his head, "I guess we're both idiots." he said, placing his hands inside his pockets as he stared at you.
"This went...way more interesting than I thought." you said with a nod.
There was a pause before you decided to speak up, "So, do you want coffee?"
Bucky beamed at you as he nodded, "As long as you'll use sugar this time."

On jealous daddy! Sam, how would he act when someone was getting too hands on with the girl he loves? How would he react in the moment and later when he’s alone with her?
Tumblr media
Sam is definitely the kind of guy to try and have a rational and calm approach to things as much as possible
He’s got a good handle on his emotions and reactions so seeing someone get a little too handsy with you and in your space would definitely have him staring daggers at them
In the moment he knows he has to be subtle, he’s not trying to cause a big scene or ruin the experience for you and himself at whatever event you’re at with him
But he steps all the same, maybe with a “I’m sorry, sweetheart, is this guy getting too close to you?”
He’ll say it out loud directly in front of him too, he’s not shy, he’s sure of himself, he has a command about him that nobody can dismiss
And especially if you’re at all uncomfortable and have told the guy to leave you alone already….yikes for him
I feel like Sam can be very silently scary and firm in a way that leaves people squirming and running in the opposite direction when they’ve crossed him or someone he loves
In the moment he’s definitely got an arm tightly around you, he’s a protective man and after that he’s not letting you out of his sight, not that you want to be anyways!
Like he would love to kick his ass but he knows there’s a time and place and knows how to apply just the right touch when he can’t throw the punches he wants
Now when you’re both alone…he’s still fuming, not angry with you of course, he’d never be but angry that someone had the sheer audacity
He’s all over you, hands careful but rushed to get you out of your dress, his lips against your ear
“You looked beautiful tonight, you know that? Think I need to show you exactly how beautiful especially after that asshole had his hand on you.”
“You sound jealous, daddy.”
You were teasing, he knew this but still have your ass a swat in response, you knew damn well you liked it when he got a little jealous
“As I should be, cause you’re all mine. Everybody else can look but you got me fucked if you think they can touch.”
It’s all a blissful blur after that, your eyes keep fluttering closed with each deep thrust Sam gives you, your gown long since discarded across the room
“That’s it, only daddy can fuck you how you need.”
You’re clinging to his toned body, eyes rolling back as he pounded into you exactly how you had been begging
Sex with Sam was always hot and amazing but especially so when he was in a possessive mood
You loved how he would grip your body close to him, how he’d handle you and position you and tell you such filthy things
It hammered home that you were indeed his, and there was nobody else in the world quite like Sam Wilson
Your dream man, your protector in the sky, your lover
There was never a moment you wanted to be anything but his
Whew I just love him sm oh my god! This is a Sam Wilson stan account!

Creepypasta Scenarios - First Meeting Part 2
Hoodie
The area where you lived had a ton of back alleyways that acted as shortcuts in a pinch. They were generally safe but you often got an uncomfortable feeling when using them so you preferred to take the busier roads if you could.
Unfortunately, when you had gone to leave work that day, you had spotted the customer who had been harassing you the entire day. It wasn’t anything creepy but it was over-the-top persistent and you weren’t in the mood to deal with it. You slipped out the backdoor as a result. At least you’d get home sooner.
For the most part, you didn’t encounter anything too suspicious and the light from the streets illuminated where you were going.
The large bins outside the grocer’s home indicated that you were getting close. You sped up and rubbed your eyes blearily.
Ahead of you, a dog was barking from inside one of the buildings. It was a pretty noisy animal and you began peering around to see what the source of its agitation was. Ironically, you ended up bumping directly into him.
“I’m sorry,” you apologised, rubbing your shoulder.
The guy was tall, wearing dark clothing and standing right in the shadows. You could have probably noticed him if you were a little more awake.
He turned and your breath caught.
His face was obscured by a dark mask with red features stitched onto it. His hoodie which originally seemed dark was now illuminated into a soft yellow or orange, stained with a dark substance.
“What are you doing here?” he asked. His voice crackled out, clearly coming through a voice changer of some kind.
“I – I was just taking a shortcut home. I live near here so I thought… I really didn’t mean to bump into you. I’m super tired.”
“Tired or not, you shouldn’t have seen me,” the guy said. “Do you have a phone or a camera?”
Slowly, you reached into your bag and pulled out your phone. “I don’t have any cash in my wallet –“
“I don’t want your money!” he snapped. “I’m not some petty thief, believe me, I have better things to do with me time. Unlock this.”
You did so and he went through it with a gloved hand. He didn’t have a weapon but something in your gut warned you to just go along with it. Nobody covered up everything, including their voice, when they were up to something good. This guy may not be a thief… but the alternative didn’t feel too much better.
He shoved your phone back at you. “Get out of here and don’t breathe a word of this to anybody. Consider yourself lucky that I’m in a good mood today.”
You swallowed nervously. “Thank you?”
“I’m serious,” he warned. “I can let you go just because you seem pathetic enough to not take this to the police but unless you want to catch a bullet in your back, you’ll keep quiet. My boss doesn’t like people getting involved with this nonsense.”
“A bullet?”
He didn’t answer and your heart thundered in your chest. Part of you wondered if he was going to kill you while you ran away but his attention seemed to have moved away from you. You hurried away, holding your breath the entire time. Every time you glanced over your shoulder, the guy remained unmoving.
When you reached your home, you locked the door tightly and slumped against it in exhaustion.
Homicidal Liu
The sunset was beautiful over the graveyard – the only beauty to an otherwise morbid place.
You stared at the purples and oranges dancing across the sky. The wreath pricked at your hands after a while and you stared down at it. Why did you still bother with bringing flowers? Hadn’t it been long enough? Still, you made your way down to the grave and placed them there, not even bothering to read the name on there.
Lately, your graveyard visits had becoming fewer and fewer. Time hadn’t been on your side recently and thus, your precious solitude had to suffer. You relished in the way that nobody really bothered you here.
An orange glow warned you when the streetlights came on. Perhaps you had been there for longer than you thought but this was to be your last visit.
Better to make it count.
Something caught in the wind made you raise your head. A piece of fabric was stuck in the nearby fence, identifiable as a scarf when you ventured closer.
You took it from the fence and looked around for its owner. Nobody was in view… maybe it had been blown off one of the graves? It did seem homemade.
Guessing, you began to place it on a grave when a voice startled you.
“I’m sorry to bother but I think you have my scarf?”
The man was standing far too close for you to have not seen him when you were glancing around but you blamed that on your night vision. He wore dark clothing and seemed awkward just to be speaking to you.
“Thank goodness,” you said. “I was just going to leave it on one of the graves because I didn’t know who it belonged to.”
He thanked you for it, wrapping it around the lower half of his face almost immediately. “That would be a waste,” he said. “Especially to leave it on this one. Thank you for grabbing it.”
A harsh wind blew through the graveyard, carrying with it the smell of an incoming storm. He grabbed his scarf just in time to prevent it from going flying away again.
“Seems like the weather is determined to steal it from you.”
“Far more powerful things have tried.”
You buried yourself further into your jacket and smiled. “I haven’t seen you around before, are you new in town or just coming to visit a new grave?”
“I’m not visiting a grave,” he admitted. “I just thought that this would be the way back to my house… I grew up in this town but only recently moved back and I’m already lost. It’s a little embarrassing if I’m honest.”
“Well, I like to know everybody,” you said. “What’s your name?”
“Su – I mean, Liu,” he said. “Liu. Sorry, I nearly gave you my surname.”
You laughed. “Oh that’s no problem. It’s nice to meet you but I really like your name. Is it Chinese?”
“I don’t know,” he said. He looked around and began walking away. “I really have to go. Thank you for getting my scarf and all that.”
“I’ll see you around,” you said with a wave.
It was only later when you realised how suspicious that entire interaction was. You had never seen Liu before in your life and he was just hanging around in the graveyard? He hadn’t seemed too creepy at least. Maybe you would see more of him in the coming days.
Jane the Killer
It wasn’t that you were unobservant or inattentive toward girls but nobody had really caught your eye until Jane.
She was stunning in a way that few people could ever match with dark hair that tumbled past her hips and soulful eyes. Her walk was always confident, her smile always perfect, and her attention always desirable. Your main regret about life was that you didn’t speak to her sooner – especially when you thought back on what happened not too long after your first meeting.
You organised with your friends to somehow bump into her but instead, you wound up getting treated for a pretty painful bruised hip. Your second plan didn’t work out either and your third never even left the drawing board.
“Just go up to her and say hi. Tell her that she’s beautiful,” your friend encouraged. “She’ll say thanks and then you’ll be able to talk to her.”
“That’s so boring though,” you said. “It’s not like something out of a romance novel.”
Your friend groaned and stood up. “Well, I’m going home. We have like three months left of high school and I’m not going to spend that time obsessing over how to speak to a girl. She’s literally a regular person.”
They were right and you knew that. No matter how you tried to set up a sweeping romance, it probably wouldn’t work out.
So you tried.
And you tried.
Two weeks later, you were about to give up on mimicking a romance novel and it appeared that your friend was thinking the same thing. She grabbed your arm and began to drag you somewhere, muttering about changing the topic. You had a vague idea of where you were going but you didn’t fight too much.
“What if she’s still dating that Woods boy?” you asked. “The older one.”
“They broke up after literally a month of dating. I don’t blame her – those Woods boys are pretty enough but the older one has something seriously wrong with him. And the younger one is always talking to himself…”
“I really don’t care about the Woods’,” you commented.
“No, you care about Jane who is honestly quite weird as well,” they said. “But that is going to be your problem and not mine.”
They dragged you directly up to her group. It wasn’t large – despite Jane’s beauty, she wasn’t incredibly popular due to her associations. Your friend wasn’t the only one who was a little scared of the Woods boys and Jane had hung out with them for quite a while.
“Hey,” your friend said before even letting you go. “You have no idea who we are but my friend here has a massive crush on you. Could you please just say hi so they can get it out of their system?”
You were sure that it was unhealthy to be as red as you were. It felt like your heart was about to leap from your chest.
Jane laughed, a soft and gentle sound. “I’m not really interested in a relationship,” she hummed. “But thank you. That’s very flattering.”
Somehow, your heart sped up still and you awkwardly rubbed your arm. “No problem?”
“Why don’t you join us for a little bit?” Jane offered. “Just because I don’t want to date anybody doesn’t mean that we can’t become friends. You look like my kind of person.”
You stumbled over your words but somehow, your conversation managed to go extremely well. Jane was brilliant in every possible way and you quickly grew attached to seeing her every day. That was why you mourned so greatly when she died.
Jason the Toymaker
The sun was so warm against your skin. You could stay there forever, stretched out on the grass and basking in the sunlight.
“It’s done,” your friend’s voice broke through your daydreaming
You opened your eyes and rolled over to see exactly what they had been working on for the entire trip. After realising the first few times that you weren’t going to get a reaction, you had decided to wait for them to finish working before you tried to have a conversation.
“I didn’t know you could draw,” you said. “That’s amazing.”
The hyper-realistic man was sketched to perfection with a top hat, a fur coat, and a small mouse sitting on his left shoulder. It felt like his eyes could piece into your soul.
“Who is that?” you asked them.
They stared blankly at the image and shook their head. “I don’t know,” they said. “He’s been in my dreams for so long. I think it has something to do with my amnesia. Maybe I knew him once before.”
“He’s a little intimidating,” you said. “I could imagine him to be a ringleader in a circus that’s like a secret cult. Maybe he’s why you lost your memory.”
“Maybe…” they said, tapping the picture. They suddenly shoved it into your chest and stood up. “You keep that. I don’t want it anywhere near me. I need to go talk to my parents.”
You watched them race out of the park in confusion. The man in the picture stared up at you with haunting eyes.
Folding it in half so it didn’t freak you out, you stood and dusted off your clothing. Maybe it would be best if you headed home. It was getting late either way.
Later on, you’d call your friend and check up on them.
About 10 minutes away from your house, the feeling of being watched snuck up on you. It hung heavily around your shoulders like a cloak. You glanced around but saw nobody.
Still, you didn’t feel comfortable leading whoever was following you back to your house. You made a point of walking amongst large crowds and headed for the police station.
They were watching you the whole way.
You sped up. A few people bumped into you and you apologised as best as you could. Your grip on the picture was getting tighter enough for you to tear it. The later it got, the fewer people were on the streets and so you were pretty much alone when you bumped into him.
It took you a few seconds to recognise the man from the drawing.
If you thought his drawn eyes were captivating, they had nothing on his real ones which glowed with an almost ethereal light.
“You’re him,” you breathed.
He stared at you, smile falling from his face in confusion. “Who?”
You shakily held out the drawing and he yanked it from your hands. “My friend drew that,” you explained. “They said that its of somebody from their past. They have amnesia you see.”
He was unmoving as he studied the picture. You began feeling a little uncomfortable and then his gaze snapped to you. “Is that so?” he asked.
You nodded and took a small step away from him. “Maybe you should go and talk to them? See –“ you swallowed nervously. “See if you can help them remember?”
“No need,” he said, dropping the paper on the ground. “Who are you?”
Your name came out as little more than a soft whisper. Something about the entire scenario made you uneasy. His appearance was too unnatural.
A gust of wind came by, picking up the drawing and whipping it away. You watched it go and when you looked back down, his eyes were locked on you.
“Such a pity,” he said. “You would have been the perfect doll.”
Wearily, you took a step backwards. His words made your stomach churn uneasily. “What are you talking about?”
He smiled. It was kind and warm but it only made you more nervous. His eyes looked like they had almost changed colour; shifted a shade darker than previously. “Thinking aloud my dear,” he said.
“About dolls?” you asked.
He tilted his head a little towards you. “I’m going to have to bid you goodbye. It seems I have other matters to attend to.” He brushed past you, stopping briefly when directly next to you. “Consider yourself lucky.”
He was gone before you could even spin around to face him.
Jeff the Killer
Pausing the song, you removed your earphones as quietly as possible and placed them down on your desk. According to the blinking numbers on your phone screen, it was nearing 2 AM. Far too late for anybody to make an excess of noise.
You listened closely. The music had been too loud for you to hear anything and you almost brushed the strange noise off as your sleep-deprived imagination. Until something squeaked like shoe soles on tiles.
In retrospect, you should have immediately called 911 but you didn’t want to sound a false alarm.
The light switch was thankfully directly outside your room. The hall illuminated most of the house when they were on and it steeled your nerves. Your roommate’s door was open, allowing you to confirm their sleeping state, curled up in their bed amongst the piles of mess. They had had to move to the spare room due to a faulty window earlier in the day and had clearly given up sorting items.
You glanced into the apartment’s other rooms before heading to the kitchen. There was nothing odd. The scuttling when you entered the kitchen just suggested that your neighbour’s rat infestation may be migrating.
Making a mental note to call the exterminator, you turned to switch off the kitchen light.
Something slammed into you, forcing your back to collide with a wall. A hand covered your mouth and the overwhelming scent of blood and decay invaded your nose. Something cold and sharp pressed against your neck.
“Shut up and stay still,” the man snarled at you. “I don’t think anybody will appreciate you getting blood in the kitchen.”
Your heart leapt into your throat and your body stilled. The man in front of you was terrifying. His skin pale and mutilated. Eyes far too wide for a normal person and dancing with an insanity that sent chills down your spine.
And his mouth… a bloody smile carved across his face, stretching halfway to his ears.
He studied your face carefully and his expression twisted. “You’re not the right one,” he snapped. The knife moved away from your neck, so he could point with it. “I had this all planned and yet when I came into that room, I found it empty. Why?”
Even if he hadn’t been holding your mouth shut, you doubted you would have been able to formulate an answer. The pounding heartbeat in your ears was nearly blocking out his voice.
He lightly tapped your cheek with his knife. “Not that it matters,” he said. “I’ll just have to adapt my original plan. You’re not the right target but I’m a huge fan of collateral damage.”
A small whimper escaped you and tears welled at your eyes. You didn’t want to die.
“Don’t blubber!” he ordered. “View it as a good thing. You’ll be all over the news. Another victim of Jeff the Killer. Hell, you might even be added to a Wikipedia page or something.”
You could recall that name from the news. Often followed by a lengthy list of deaths and the police chief begging for any information about the murderer.
Jeff stared at you for a long minute before he pressed the knife’s blade to your throat and moved his hand away from your mouth. “Scream and I will remove your vocal cords,” he threatened. “Who are you?”
It took several deep breaths and a flicker of impatience in his expression to give you the ability to talk again. You stammered out your full name as quickly as you possibly could.
He rolled his eyes and tilted the knife so it scratched your skin. A sticky and warm substance ran down your throat in small droplets. “Pathetic.”
“Sorry,” you whispered on instinct. “Please don’t kill me.”
“Why not?” he asked. “You ruined my earlier plans to take out my original target by interrupting me before I could find them. Why shouldn’t I settle for you instead?”
You didn’t have an answer.
He took the blade away from your throat. “If you call the police and report what happened here tonight, I will slice you into little pieces.”
It was almost twenty minutes after he left before you regained any movement in your body. You slumped into a heap on the kitchen floor and started sobbing.
Kagekao
Things had been going missing around your house.
Initially, you had thought it was just due to you forgetting where you’d plopped things because it was simple things. Drinks that vanished, keys turning up on the opposite side of the house, and random spills that you didn’t remember making.
But then it started getting weirder still.
You would make food and pack it away, knowing that you would eat it later, and find it gone. Picture frames disappeared, never to be seen again. Your rug half-unraveled during the night and you found it in a pile the next morning. A candle in your bathroom fell over and, somehow, the curtains on the other side of the house had caught alight.
It was suspicious, to say the very least. You began to think that you had some kind of intruder – once, the news reported that a woman found a homeless man living in her attic and eating her food when she wasn’t looking.
So you went out and bought cameras, setting them up throughout your house.
For two weeks, they caught nothing until one of them ended up breaking. You went to get it repaired and the company managed to recover what it had last seen. Which was nothing on your first glance.
But you were soon to realise, that was only because you had been looking at the floor.
While you were rewatching when you got home, you noticed something. The window was sitting wide open and the camera’s angle only allowed you to see half of it. Right toward the end of the feed, a gloved hand appeared on the side of the window and a slight shadow indicated something climbing through.
So you got reinforced windows and made sure that none were open unless you were in the room.
Things still continued happening.
You were beginning to get really annoyed by this. It was tempting to go to the police and let them just handle it but that was going to be a lot of effort that you really didn’t care for. You didn’t feel like you were in much danger. Nothing had happened in your bedroom.
Your next plan was to set up a trap of some kind. With a hidden camera set up, you made extra food and left it on the counter to see if something happened.
The next day, you watched as a plastic toy of some kind was thrown directly into the plate from somewhere off-camera, breaking it and leaving an absolute mess everywhere.
Still not considering it to be anything dangerous, you just cleaned up the mess and loudly cursed out anybody who was listening. You stalked the house after that, searching every nook and cranny with a bat in hand. The final place was the closet in your bedroom and you peered in, expecting nothing.
When you turned around though, you spotted something sitting in the corner of the room.
It was humanoid with arms twisted into awkward positions and a mask on its face. Half the mask was black and the other white, both sides bearing an unnaturally smiling expression. The creature cackled when you saw it and scuttled out of the door, stuck to the roof the entire time.
A second passed.
Then another.
You pinched your arm hard and waited to wake up. Surely there was no way… I mean, why would… humans didn’t generally crawl along the ceiling? Well, you were quite sure they never did that. You must have been imagining it.
A second laugh corrected you on that.
You swallowed thickly, walked over to your door as calmly as possible and locked it. Then you took out your phone and finally called the police.
Kate the Chaser
The day when Kate was sent away remained very clear in your mind. It was a moment that brought extremely change to your life, mixing up your friend group and sending you in a different direction.
The years has passed and you had never gotten over your best friend. They said that she had lost her mind and you knew it was true. All those games investigating the woods and ghost hunting must have put a toll on her mind. Sometimes, you blamed yourself for all the pranks and you knew that Lauren had similar doubts.
And now she was back.
Lauren and you hadn’t remained close, the entire situation feeling too real with one another. Your greeting was stilted but neither of you wanted to be the first to approach the house.
“Do you think that she remembers us?” Lauren asked.
“If she didn’t then her mom wouldn’t have invited us over,” you said.
You stood in complete silence, staring up at the house. Would you even recognise Kate? The last time that you had seen her was when you were both young children and her face remained at that age in your memories.
Eventually, you gained your confidence before Lauren and you walked over, knocking on the door before anxiety could find you.
Kate answered the door and you forgot why you had ever been nervous.
Time had slimmed her face and shortened her hair. Her eyes were still a gentle brown and the cockiness had faded from her smile, but it was recognisable from your nostalgia. It made you feel warm and known – an aura that you had missed without even realising it.
“Hi,” you greeted.
Kate pulled you into a tight hug and you returned it, clutching at her tightly as though she could slip through your fingers. It really had been too long and when you moved away, she held onto Lauren with the same enthusiasm.
“How have you been?” she asked. “You have to tell me everything.”
The three of you spent the rest of the afternoon having tea and just talking about the world at large. Kate didn’t have many stories from the hospital – she claimed it was because the place had been extremely boring and neither of you pushed to find out more about it. Honestly, it was more comfortable to act as though she had simply moved away.
Lauren had to leave first and you were going to go with her but Kate had looked so down that you remained just a little longer. That was when things got weird.
“I’ve missed music a lot,” Kate sighed.
“Did they not allow you to listen to music?”
She grimaced. “No, they did but often I couldn’t hear it over the static. Its mostly gone away now but it came back last night… it fills my brain and all that I can think of is a way to make the pain stop.”
The colour drained from your face as you stared at her. You didn’t know much about what happened to her but you had thought she would be okay now.
Realising it, Kate hurried to reassure you, “I really have recovered,” she said. “My hallucinations have faded and my medication keeps my emotions in check. You really don’t have to be scared of me.”
You stared down at your cup awkwardly. “I’m not scared of you,” you reassured her. “You’ve never done anything to me.”
She nodded. “It will be alright, you’ll see. I’m ready to get back to a normal life with my friends and not have to worry about that ghost stuff ever again.”
Laughing Jack
It was on your leg…
The glare you fixed the small child with could wilt plants. It didn’t care though and merely clutched at your clothing with a happy smile. “Come play with me?” it asked. “I can introduce you to all my friends!”
“How old is she again?” you grumbled at your friend.
Your friend laughed and ruffled their cousin’s hair. “I had an imaginary friend when I was 10. She’s only 6, she’s still at the stage where they’re a big deal.”
The child was oblivious to your conversation and reached out her arms. “Come on. The parents are being boring. I have candy that my friend gave me. We can share it.”
“I agreed to come along to your family get together to keep you company,” you said to your friend. “You know I don’t like children. Babysitting really isn’t my forte.”
All you received for your complaining was laughter.
By the time you had the 4th teddy bear had been introduced, you were done. Why did one kid have so many toys?
“Now which one of your friends gives you candy?” your friend asked. “Because if it’s from Princess, I don’t think it’s edible. What if she secretly puts glitter in it?”
Expected to play along, you sighed. “Unless it’s glitter from rainbows because then it’s got magic powers and allows you to fly.”
The child liked your thumb-sucked statement because she jumped up in excitement. “I don’t get it from Princess. Jack gives it to me! But if Princess can make me fly, I want to have that kind of candy instead!”
“Which one’s Jack again?” you asked, eyeing the line of toys.
“He’s not here right now,” the child said, biting her inner cheek. She turned in a circle. “Sometimes he hides in the cupboard though!” She ran over to her cupboard and pulled the doors open. “I don’t think – OW!”
She reeled backwards, clutching her cheek. Both you and your friend immediately jumped up and ran over to her. A tiny slice mark ran across the side of her face. It wasn’t anything serious, but she was sobbing as though it would kill her. You presumed a small edge on one of the boxes in the cupboard had been the cause.
“Do you want me to take you to mom, so she can kiss it better?” your friend asked. “Your new best friend can wait here and make sure all your toys are safe.”
The child nodded, and she got led out of the room. You rolled your eyes at the sensitivity and reached into the cupboard to push the box out of the way. A clawed hand reached out of nowhere and grabbed your wrist tightly.
Before you could even shout, it lifted you off the ground by your arm and a second hand had wrapped around your mouth.
The monster’s body appeared out of the closet.
It was a clown. Easily 7ft tall and comprised of monochrome colours with a sharp, pointed nose and long, greasy hair. Its black lips spread into a smile, revealing pointed teeth and a sickeningly sweet breath.
You writhed against its grip, trying to scream or do anything but it was insanely strong, and it just laughed at your efforts.
“How mean,” it purred, leaning in close to your face. “You ask who I am and then, when I appear to you, you insult my appearance. Awful etiquette. Your parents should be concerned about how rude you are to strangers.”
You strained your memory to think about what you had been doing before it grabbed you but the adrenaline was clouding your mind. What had you asked? You struggled more with the lack of memories.
The clown shook its head. “I haven’t revealed myself to somebody so old in a long time. You should be flattered but instead you choose to try and kick me. This is why I don’t do this. Children are far more polite.”
He released you suddenly and you landed hard on the ground. It winked and disappeared, right as your friend and her cousin returned.
“You met Jack!” the child shouted excitedly, pointing to the candy lying next to you.
You shoved it away from you as quickly as possible.

Hi there, congrats for the 1500 subs. How about the bros reaction to an MC who's an empath?
Brothers with an MC Who is an Empath
This should not have been as hard as it was but maaan, my brain just wasn’t working. Finally got it done though!
Intro:
An Empath is essentially someone who is highly sensitive to outside stimuli like sounds, personalities, energies, emotions, or just hectic/chaotic environments. They tend to absorb the emotions of others into themselves because of this. Though their sensitivity can grant deeper understanding for others, it comes at the price of the Empath’s own emotional and physical health if not given enough time to decompress which can lead to feeling drained, irritable, depressed, or overwhelmed.
Lucifer
Oh boy, if there was ever any demon not in tune to his own emotions…
He started out legitimately not knowing what an "empath" was and frankly he didn't care to know. His main concern was just keeping the MC alive.
Though that didn't seem to be too hard because they apparently get tired quickly… or at least they had to take extended periods away from most of his brothers.
He wasn't sure why, he first assumed it was because they found his brothers annoying but that didn't seem to be the case either...
He'd see them grinning with Mammon after a jackpot, relaxing with Satan in silence, and even crying with Levi over things so niche and pointless he couldn’t imagine that they actually cared...
It wasn’t too long until they set their sights on him.
They always seemed to know when he was stressed or when he needed to talk to someone. He'd even be embarrassed to admit there were days when he’d just hover somewhat close to them, face more or less slathered with "I really need to talk right now" but too proud to make the first move.
After some time, he decided to look up what an empath was again and it all clicked into place. They probably knew when he was tired because they could just sense it off of him.
And who knows how exhausting that must be for them...
After that little revelation he actually started paying more attention to his own health to keep it from spilling over to them, but he would still go to them to talk from time to time. He honestly never expected a human to become his closest confidant.
Mammon
Mammon has BIG energy. He’s one of those personalities that just brightens a room he walks in but damn… if he’s not a little exhausting to be around sometimes…
Truthfully, he was kind of into their whole “I know how you feel so you don’t have to say it” vibe though it was really confusing to start with...
On the one hand, they never made fun of him for his sensitive side. Not once. And they seemed pick up on the days where he wasn't feeling his best as well, which only made him happy and want spend more time with them.
But on the other hand, he'd be lying if he said that their need to recharge away from him didn't catch him off guard a lot... Hell, for the first few weeks of getting to know the MC he thought they didn't like him at all!
It took the MC sitting him down and explaining to him that they're more sensitive to things like lights, sounds, and emotions for him to kind of get the picture. It wasn’t that they didn’t like him, they just needed to be somewhere calm.
Cue a lot of “Okay human, I’ll be calm. Promise! Ya won’t even now I’m here!” in a well meaning, but pretty loud voice and not getting much better from there, bless his heart...
Even after he eventually gets the picture and stops hanging off of their leg, it does bum him out to be separated for however long it takes for them to get better (at worst, it can be days).
But he really gets excited like a puppy whenever they finally come back again! Big grins and lots of hugs (good luck peeling him off now).
Levi
Levi is... best taken in short bursts.
Though his personality isn’t big like Mammon’s, he does have a lot of lingering negativity around him. Not exactly his fault, being Envy and all, but not great for someone who’s sensitive to emotions.
In truth, Levi genuinely loves being around the MC because they “get” him even if they don’t get what’s happening.
While his brothers may roll their eyes or struggle to understand how he can put so much emotional investment into an anime or a character, the MC would always seem to feel and respect that his emotions were genuine and let him experience them without question.
… But at the same time, that sensitivity meant that they got carried in with him through his every emotion, good, bad, or somewhat erratic depending on the situation…
Add to that his higher than usual need for validation, investment, and feedback due to his insecurity and unfortunately he’s easily the most emotionally draining person in the House...
It took some time to explain to Levi what an empath was and that their desired space wasn’t because there was something wrong with him or anything, they just needed breaks. Thankfully, being an introvert himself meant that Levi understood this a lot quicker than Mammon.
In truth, being with Levi could be fun and rewarding for both parties. During his high points, his happiness truly does shine like no other, just… don’t overdo it.
Satan
In the beginning, Satan was honestly pretty impressed how quickly the exchange student saw through his fake smiles. They’d know that there was no actual joy behind them and thus avoided him for the most part.
This was before they formed their pact so he was perfectly fine with that. Let them hide, that’s the smart idea.
But after getting to know them and going through the body-switch, he started to see that it was deeper than just some good intuition on their part. Something about them… reflected the people around them...
They appeared to be acutely aware of the emotion in a given person or a given room and reacted like they were soaking in the atmosphere they found themselves in. Taking it into themselves…
It truly confused him.
Satan is the picture of emotional control, it’s been taught to him again and again to always keep a good handle on himself because things go flying when he doesn’t. The idea of being so open to others just didn’t make much sense to him…
Why would anyone want to live so dependent on the emotions of others? It sounded chaotic just to hear about it...
But after he opened up to them about his own inner doubts he started to think it wasn’t such a bad thing. They appeared to be equipped to help him navigate his own emotions, especially the new ones he didn’t have the best grasp on yet.
He later did his own research into human emotions, discovered empaths, and that put it all into perspective. Like Lucifer, he did his best not to overwhelm them after that but there was little worry about that anyway. Satan is, again, emotional control at its finest.
Asmodeus
Oh, Asmo picked up on their human’s little quirk relatively quickly compared to his brothers. Being emotionally observant is just part of what makes him so good at what he does.
Honestly, he enjoyed just watching them from afar… Watching the way their eyes lit up when talking to a cheerful Simeon or how huffy and frustrated they’d get along with Mammon when things weren’t going his way. It was cute to him, like a child playing “Pretend.”
Eventually, though, he started to notice that it went a lot deeper than mere imitation...
One day, Levi came home distraught about the tragic death of some voice actor he fancied and the MC was right along with him, crying as if that loss was theirs...
On another, Satan had spent the whole day silently fuming and the MC was a complete wreck, tense and on-edge for no other reason than the feeling of aggression in the air…
And crowds… crowded rooms seemed to be the death of them. So much noise and constant input, they’d have to leave so quickly…
Asmo saw all these things himself, without having to be told, and he became a refuge for them when things became too much. He has a big personality himself, but he could tone it down for a time and offer them a place away for a while.
If school, parties, or the brothers themselves just became too much, the MC could always go to Asmo’s room to vent like they let everybody else to with them. He’d keep the place quiet and calm and just help them sort things out...
Thank their father for Asmo’s observance.
Beelzebub
Legit the calmest, sweetest, nicest person to be around. Truly the best companion for an empathic MC to have.
Beel’s personality is positive, sweet, and (most importantly) stable. He’s not too bombastic nor too withdrawn, he’s not riddled with hidden stress or self-loathing, and he’s not even manipulative in any way, he’s just… Beel.
Am I saying that Beel is the MC’s emotional support demon? Yes. Yes I am.
Being around Beel is like hooking them up to a walking battery recharging station. Something about him just exudes warmth and comfort… They could be wrapped up in his arms for days and never say a word yet still be perfectly content...
Beel doesn't really mind them coming to him when distressed either because he likes being able to help them when they’re feeling drained. It makes him feel kind of special, they don’t seem to go to anyone else in quite the same way.
Usually, one of his brothers will be in a bad mood and the human will flock to Beel like a protective barrier. They'll hug him or trail along behind him like a lost puppy, which he thinks is very cute.
If they’re feeling really out of it, he’d carry them around on his back while they rest like he does for Belphie sometimes. Any time his brothers try to get too close to them or look like they’re going to bother them, he’ll just carry them away to some place quieter.
Though, the MC did pick up the deep sadness he felt for Lilith and Belphie (while he was gone) from time to time.... Which, considering how kind and comforting he usually is, just makes that dip in mood all the more painful and distressing for them. Poor baby…
Belphegor
Belphie is another calm personality to have around, kind of similar to Beel, but since he's more prone to sadness and irritability he doesn't make the best companion…
If Beel is comfort, then Belphie is repose. Relaxed and peaceful, but also languid and sluggish… When Beel isn't around, then he makes a decent second, but only on good days.
Belphie has a mixed opinion on their uncanny ability to pick up on his feelings… He tries his best to be “mysterious” so having someone who can read him like a book gets under his skin just a little…
But he also really likes how much it helps them get to know him and understand where he’s coming from (being the youngest, he isn’t as used to being heard by anybody other than Beel). So, he’s very conflicted…
It didn’t help at all when it came to light that the MC could legitimately tell that he felt very hostile and angry towards them while he was still in the attic. When he asked why they helped him anyway, they told him so that they could make Beel happy again, regardless of how he felt about them which... ouch...
As if he could feel any worse about that particular incident… They could feel how guilty he was about that… right?
Even if they can’t he makes sure that they know that he’s sorry and he won’t do it again. Probably the lil’shit.

Can you please write a story where Natasha and Yelena decide to play the quiet game and they both try to make each other make noise and break first? Thanks!
A/N: I hope you guys enjoy this one! I had a bit of writer’s block come onto me with this one, but it was mostly just because of the week I was having when I started writing it, lol 😂
I’m struggling a little with writing inspiration still, but hopefully it’s coming back to me slowly 💗 I’ve still got a ton of requests, and I’m working on them slowly 💕
Word Count: 3370
“Yelena, if you keep playing that Bruno song, I’m going to give you something not to talk about!” Natasha threatened, actually half serious with her declaration as she tried her best to focus on the phone conversation she was having with Clint from where he was back at his farm.
Clint just laughed on the other end, and Natasha rolled her eyes affectionately, noting very happily that Yelena actually did turn off the Encanto music after Natasha yelled.
“She giving you a hard time?”
“When is she not?” Natasha asked him with a slight chuckle and a sigh of fond exasperation. She quickly quieted as she watched Yelena come to the doorway, gazing in. Natasha narrowed her eyes at her playfully, trying to conjure at least the smallest bits of disappointment in her gaze for Yelena’s relentless noise-making.
“Sounds like the poser is in a grumpy mood,” Yelena commented with a far-too-large smirk, and Natasha just huffed in reply to her. Clint was on speaker, so he managed to pick up on both sides of their conversation.
“She giving you a hard time, Yelena?” he asked, his voice still having that same sympathetic, slightly amused tone that he had when he asked Natasha the same question, and Natasha glared at the phone with irritation.
“Traitor. Pick a side,” Natasha muttered to him, and he chuckled, still awaiting Yelena’s response. Natasha could practically feel his cheese-eating grin despite the fact that she could not even see his face right now. She just knew him well enough to know his precise reactions.
“When is she not?” Yelena dramatically replied to him as she came into the room and approached the bed, and Clint cackled joyfully.
“Oh, wow… You two are exactly alike,” he commented, greatly enjoying the fact that Yelena had accidentally echoed the precise words that Natasha had used just a moment ago. Yelena scoffed in mock offense as she flopped down on the bed next to Natasha and the phone that was resting on the redhead’s lap.
“Clinton, you offend me. I am nothing like the giant poser here. She’s so little and delicate, and I’m so tall and strong—” Yelena was immediately cut off as she screeched with laughter, Natasha skittering her fingers across her baby sister’s side and ribcage. Yelena moved away from her, desperately trying to escape Natasha’s attack.
Before long, Natasha just let her be, returning her attentions to her conversation. Yelena let out a deep breath before moving back into the same position she had been in. However, this time, her arms were crossed as she protectively held her torso, trying to defend herself from any potential future attacks.
“Alright, guys… I’ve got to get off. Lila just got home, and I told her I’d help her figure out some stuff with her math homework,” Clint explained, and Yelena harrumphed with a wide smirk that undoubtedly meant trouble.
“You sure you’re qualified to handle that?” Yelena asked, her tone completely deadpan as she sounded like for all practical purposes that she seriously questioned his ability. Natasha almost laughed, but held herself together, waiting for Clint’s reply.
“Ha, ha. Everybody’s a comedian… I guess I’ll see you guys next week when I come back,” Clint told them. They then shared their goodbyes and got off of the phone.
Once Natasha hung up the phone, Yelena was looking at Natasha with an accusation in her gaze, her chin resting on Natasha’s thigh where she had rolled over and wrapped an arm around Natasha’s leg. Natasha raised an eyebrow as she gazed down at her.
“What?” Natasha asked, a chuckle bubbling in her throat in spite of herself. Yelena just huffed unhappily, scratching at a small stain on the top of Natasha’s jean-covered thigh.
“You made me turn off Bruno,” Yelena grumpily declared, and Natasha groaned, rolling her eyes with a slight grin.
“Because you were being loud and I couldn’t talk to Clint,” Natasha explained, and Yelena just pouted unhappily at her, furrowing her brow adorably as she glared at the older woman.
“It was in the other room!” Yelena argued, whining a little at this point because of Natasha’s insistence upon her music being too noisy. Natasha reached her hand down to Yelena’s face and smoothed out her brow with her thumb before sweeping a hand gently over her face.
“You know how loud your speakers play. It was blasting through the whole house,” Natasha told her, laughing a little at the girl. Yelena grumbled under her breath.
“I never make you be quiet…”
“That’s because I’m never loud.” Yelena gasped in offense in reply to her words, raising up from where she was resting her chin on Natasha’s leg to better meet Natasha’s eyes. Natasha bit her bottom lip slightly to try to avoid laughing at the girl’s ridiculous dramatics that Natasha happened to find positively adorable.
“Are you implying I’m loud all the time?!” Yelena defensively cried, and her voice was apparently at a larger volume than she intended for it to come out as her eyes widened just a little in surprise. Natasha grinned smugly in reply to her.
“You said it,” Natasha told her in defense of herself, holding up a hand in a placating gesture. Yelena narrowed her eyes, very displeased with the fact that Natasha was winning in this battle of the wills.
“Okay, well, guess what?” Yelena questioned huffily, her voice definitively softer as she quite obviously forced a lower tone. Natasha laughed a little, grinning at her adorable baby sister as she sat up on the bed next to her, a fire in her eyes as she glared at the redhead.
  “What?”
“Let’s make it a competition! Let’s play the quiet game where we both just stay silent until one of us breaks,” Yelena determinedly challenged, and Natasha raised an eyebrow skeptically.
“I don’t think this is a competition that you want to start with me, little one,” Natasha replied calmly, and Yelena’s eyes hardened as she gazed at the redhead. Natasha could already see the stubbornness setting upon her, and she knew that there would be no peace until Yelena had this competition.
“You’re just scared I’m going to win and prove you wrong,” Yelena challenged, and Natasha let out a slight breath, staring at Yelena for a long moment. Yelena just glared back at her, waiting on Natasha’s response.
  Natasha finally sighed.
“Okay. You’re going to really regret this, but okay,” Natasha finally consented, and Yelena smirked widely, offering her hand as she started to seal the deal. Natasha smiled a little in spite of herself.
“Whenever we shake hands, we start,” Yelena explained, and Natasha nodded easily, starting to reach out and shake her hand. However, Yelena pulled her hand away for just a moment, a smirk on her face.
“Any last words before your vow of silence?” Yelena questioned smugly, and Natasha’s eyes softened a bit as she looked at her adorable baby sister. Her adorable baby sister that had absolutely no idea what she was doing with this competition.
Natasha leaned forward, kissing Yelena’s nose, and Yelena blinked a little with surprise but nevertheless leaned into the hand that moved up to cradle the side of her face gently.
“Nothing, just… I love you,” Natasha expressed gently, and Yelena’s eyes were suddenly gentle as she moved forward to push her forehead into Natasha’s gently, her eyes fluttering closed as she enjoyed the affection she was receiving.
“And you’re going to be so sorry you started this,” Natasha whispered with a wide smirk, and Yelena’s eyes shot open to meet Natasha’s with shock. Natasha looked back at her, mirth bubbling in her chest, and Yelena pulled away with a grumpy expression, jabbing out her hand for Natasha to shake.
Natasha shrugged in reply, reaching out and shaking Yelena’s hand to seal the beginning of the competition.
Natasha then proceeded to get up from her bed, heading out of the bedroom to continue in her usual morning routine that she attended to that had been interrupted by Clint’s call.
She immediately heard Yelena stepping along after her, and Natasha could not help her smile.
It always warmed her heart when Yelena followed her wherever she went throughout the house. It reminded her of when the two of them were small, and Yelena would hurry after her no matter where she was going. Oftentimes, when they were little, Natasha would have to literally lock the bathroom door while she relieved herself because Yelena would want to follow her inside just as she did everywhere else.
Natasha headed to the kitchen to go and wash the dishes that they had left in the kitchen sink from the previous night. Natasha had been too tired to clean them up the night before, so she knew that after their breakfast they had earlier that morning, she was definitely going to need to clean it up now because Yelena had a tendency to use a lot of dishes in the midst of fetching snacks throughout the day.
Natasha was aiming on going about this competition in the manner that she did everything— with precision and patience. She was aiming on winning this battle. After all, Natasha could be just as competitive as Yelena. It was just yet another thing that tied them together as sisters despite the lack of a blood bond.
To her surprise, Yelena suddenly stumbled into her, and Natasha glanced back at her quickly, a question in her gaze. Yelena just smirked widely, waggling her eyebrows as she gazed at the redhead mischievously. Natasha rolled her eyes, knowing what Yelena was trying to do. The blonde was trying to garner any verbal response that she could possibly receive.
Natasha approached the sink, starting to wash the dishes, and she noted how Yelena remained in the room with her, not going anywhere. Natasha could feel Yelena’s eyes on her, and she could almost hear her thoughts and how the younger woman was plotting to try to get Natasha to crack.
She heard Yelena approaching her from behind and Natasha playfully darted a hand back, scribbling at her sides. Yelena jumped back with a slight huff passing between her lips. However, no actual sound besides her breath left her, so Natasha just waited patiently for the blonde to make her next move.
As she suspected she would, Yelena approached her yet again, her chin resting on Natasha’s shoulder as she watched her do the dishes. Natasha tensed her sides a little, mentally turning off her ticklishness to the best of her abilities as she called upon her conditioning as was trained in the Red Room. She never really imagined she would use such horrible things for such an innocent, silly purpose, but she was happy that she could associate it with something happier than the old memories that generally connected with it.
To her surprise, Yelena suddenly reached down into the soapy dishwater and quickly dove her hand upward, putting soap bubbles on Natasha’s face. Natasha froze in place, knowing she had a giant soap bubble beard at that moment. Yelena was biting her lip hard in desperate attempts not to laugh, and Natasha quirked a brow in questioning and smirked a little, silently pointing out that Yelena was going to make herself lose.
Yelena seemed to somehow catch onto her meaning, and she quickly sobered, narrowing her eyes a little as she eyed Natasha carefully. Natasha wiped off her bubble beard and worked at finishing up the dishes, her mind scanning any possible ways of making Yelena break her silence.
Natasha knew that making her laugh was a surefire way of getting her to break. Of course, if she could just hold out through Yelena’s antics, Yelena could end up making herself laugh by accident. After all, she almost just did.
Natasha finally finished the few dishes they had collected in the sink, and she headed toward the couch to watch some television, planning to put on one of Yelena’s favorite movies that always made her laugh.
Yelena was right at her heels, and as soon as Natasha sat down on the couch, Yelena was squished directly against her firmly. Natasha could not resist a slight smile, keeping her gaze on the television as she went to the DVR and selected Shrek from the movies in Yelena’s folder of shows and movies. Yelena’s eyes widened a little, and Natasha looked at her with a raised eyebrow, silently asking if Yelena had a problem with Natasha’s choice in movies.
Yelena immediately hardened her gaze, clenching her teeth a little as she stubbornly turned her attentions to the movie.
Within about thirty minutes of the movie playing, Yelena had almost burst into laughter multiple times in response to Donkey’s humor. She had come extremely close to losing it when Natasha started goofily mouthing the words to Donkey’s lines with overly dramatic, animated movements.
However, she never did crack, and Natasha had to admire her for holding out as well as she had. She was proud of her baby sister for making it as far as she had even if it was not conductive to the redhead’s victory.
And so their game continued, Natasha very goofily lip-syncing along to the humorous lines that she could remember from the movie, and Yelena trying valiantly not to laugh, clamping her hand over her mouth tightly to stop any sound from escaping her. When she was not trying to laugh, she was shooting evil glares at Natasha.
Natasha herself was just grinning widely, having to keep her own laughter under control at her close approach to winning the entire thing.
When Shrek finally finished playing, Natasha started to reach toward the remote, going to put on another movie that Yelena always laughed at.
But to her surprise, Yelena got up from the couch, heading toward the hall with their bedrooms. Natasha let out a slight breath of air, but thought nothing of it, figuring that Yelena was going to likely use the bathroom before coming back to try to get revenge of some sort.
After a few moments, however, Natasha suddenly heard a loud thud in the bathroom. Natasha’s eyes widened, immediately on high alert as she jumped off the couch, running through the house as she made a mad dash for the bathroom in her room. All of her thoughts were centered entirely on if Yelena had fallen and if she was alright.
Natasha stopped just short of the bathroom door, knocking on it quickly and having to hold herself back from just walking in.
“Yelena?! Sweet girl, are you okay?” Natasha questioned loudly, fear gripping her when she did not hear a response from the other girl.
“I’m coming in,” Natasha told her quickly, and she charged in through the door, opening it swiftly yet carefully in case Yelena was not too far behind it. She did not want to knock the blonde out in the midst of trying to make sure she was okay.
As soon as she came in, her eyes widened as she took in the sight before her.
There was Yelena standing there, perfectly fine as she smirked from ear to ear.
“You lost,” Yelena wickedly declared. Natasha was frozen for a long moment, just taking in the sight of her baby sister. She finally let out a deep breath of aggravation, and Yelena laughed, positively gleeful about the fact that she had managed to make Natasha break.
“You should’ve heard yourself,” Yelena cackled, and Natasha narrowed her eyes at her, crossing her arms over her chest as she glared at her unhappily.
“Yelena, that was low. I thought you were hurt,” Natasha finally told her, and Yelena’s laughs quickly slowed as her face shifted into something a bit more apologetic. Yelena stepped closer to Natasha, and the redhead eyed her, displeased with her baby sister for her trickery.
“I’m sorry, Natashka. I probably shouldn’t have used me getting hurt as a way to break your silence,” Yelena apologized softly, her head tilted a little as those pretty honey-greens bored into Natasha’s. Natasha looked at her quietly, and Yelena stepped nearer, her chin resting on Natasha’s chest near her collarbone as she looked up at her.
“Can you forgive me?” Yelena asked, moving her face up just a little as she poked the tip of her nose against Natasha’s throat playfully. Natasha finally just rolled her eyes, moving her arms so that she could take Yelena’s face in her hands softly. She kissed Yelena’s nose gently before letting her go, her hands lingering gently against Yelena’s face as she pulled away.
“Of course. I love you, you little moron,” Natasha affectionately expressed, and Yelena huffed with a smirk.
“I love you, too, you big bozo,” Yelena replied, and Natasha could not help her grin. Yelena let out a deep breath, looking over at the bathtub as she shrugged.
“Since our little game is over, I guess I’ll go ahead and get a bath. I wanted to do that before you challenged me,” Yelena declared, and Natasha raised her eyebrows in mild surprise.
“I challenged you? If I remember correctly, it was the other way around,” Natasha teased, and Yelena smirked widely as she stepped forward and leaned into Natasha’s space with a conspiratorial look on her face as she whispered.
“Well, maybe you need some of that Ginkgo Biloba. They’re always advertising it on TV. It really helps with old people like you,” Yelena shot back with a grin, and Natasha rolled her eyes, reaching out and playfully shoving at Yelena’s head. Yelena dodged her hand last minute, only letting Natasha’s hand barely touch her forehead as she looked at the redhead.
“I’m going to let you get a bath, I guess,” Natasha told her, and Yelena just nodded in reply as Natasha headed out the door.
“Okay. Look up the Ginkgo. It’ll change your life,” Yelena declared, pointing to her, and Natasha rolled her eyes at her, shutting the door behind her.
  “Whatever.”
Natasha then headed over to her bed not too far from the bathroom door, relaxing on it as she started to read a book. She wanted to stay sort of near Yelena after the false scare from earlier. Something in her just subconsciously needed to be closer to her to make herself feel better.
Once a few minutes had passed, however, there was a loud thud in the bathroom and a loud splashing resounded. Natasha’s eyes widened, and she hurried to the door, her hand already on the doorknob.
“You okay?! Can I come in?”
“Yeah! I mean, no, no, there’s no need to come—”
But Natasha had already turned the doorknob out of pure instinct, her need to know if Yelena was okay overriding anything else and Yelena’s original agreeance presiding over the rest of her statement.
As soon as she entered, she was met with the view of Yelena clutching the sides of the bathtub, submerged in bubbles with only her bubble-coated head and one of her legs hooked over the side of the bathtub in clear view as she rested in the water. None of the rest of her body was showing under the ridiculously massive amount of bubbles she had put in the bath. Natasha’s eyes widened a little as she took in the sight of the water spread across the floor.
Between Yelena’s awkward position and the water in the floor, Natasha immediately knew what had happened.
Natasha smirked widely, her eyes sparkling as she looked at her baby sister covered in bubbles, her hand already reaching in her pocket for her phone.
“Huh. You know what they say about karma,” Natasha declared as she aimed the camera, and Yelena’s eyes widened as her knuckles grew white with how tightly she was clinging to the bathtub.
“The same thing I’ll say about you if you take a picture of—”
Natasha quickly snapped the picture, and Yelena’s eyes narrowed, setting her jaw as she glared at her. Natasha just offered her baby sister a playful wink.
“Hopefully you can forgive me,” Natasha echoed Yelena’s tone from earlier but with less sincerity before leaving out the door.
  “NATASHKA!!!!”
