Isn’t there something about people in yee olden days thinking autistic children were fairies or sumn? Cuz yeah it’s stupid but also… am I the only who who gets imposter syndrome with humanity? Idk maybe it’s the Asperger’s/“lvl 1 tism” I’ve been late diagnosed w but my whole life I’ve dreaded being stuck in this plane of existence. No wonder child me dove into shit like Barbie and power rangers or PJO cuz anything’s gotta be better than this meat suit. Like when I die if the universe tells me I actually was a fairy in human skin I wouldn’t really be surprised

Currently reading “A Study in Drowning” by Ava Reid - I actually read until 40 pages in a few months ago but somehow never picked it up again until a day ago.
The first 100 pages was kinda hard for me to get through, I didn’t really like the pacing and the events that went through. I was kinda bored, but when I did move past 100 pages to 200 and got more into the mystery - that’s when I enjoyed it.
ALSO…those 200 pages were 10 chapters and this is like a 400 or nearly 400 page books. So that’s like 20 pages per chapter, yes, it has long chapters, and I do not like that at all.
But anyway, I still find the story intriguing, I listen to siren music playlists while I read it.

“ “Baelkin, firstborn, no matter whose blood you spill, you will never rule Elfhame,” Eldred says. “You are unworthy of the crown.”
I close my eyes and think of Oriana’s words to me: It is no easy thing to be the lover of the High King. It is to always be a pawn.
Taniot goes to her death with grace. ”
