If someone didn't know why this scene made Kenta pause,it's because the Neck is a very important body part in the Alpha-Omega verse and showing someone your neck is a form of respect;generally done by the less powerful one(omega, beta) to the more powerful one(Alpha). In this case it should have been Kenta, who is less powerful, showing his neck to Pete who is an Enigma, much more powerful but Pete showing his neck to Kenta is basically him acknowledging that Kenta is more in power here, which Kenta never feels cause Tony never allow him to feel that he has any power in any kind of situation(hence all those 'useless' taunts) and Pete knows it and hence him showing his Neck is a very significant factor here(and later part of the story,I believe).

Absolutely LOVE this casting, in Guillermo del Toro we always trust but I love how Andrew Garfield could really play both Frankenstein and the monster with his physique and acting skills
