♧ his lips taste like cherries because his lips get chapped easily so he applies cherry lip balm every thirty minutes, more or less.

♧ there are multiple reasons why he decided to go to italy and there are two that are more important than the rest. the first one is the most obvious, the contract that ali roma offered him. he thought he'd be a fool not to take it as it is not only a massive career opportunity, but a massive life opportunity as well, for both him and his partner. and the second one is so he has an excuse to learn italian and impress his partner (not that he actually has do that. his precise sets are jaw dropping enough).

♧ the sight of his partner in his t-shirt is his favorite thing to see. more than seeing them dressed up, seeing that a volleyball game was in his team's favor, anything.

♧ cannot have a partner that's insecure. he's famous, good looking, and doesn't have good social skills. sometimes his fans who are women will try to flirt with him, but he doesn't quite know how to respond to make them stop. he's not flirting back with them and he's trying to make it clear that he's not interested, but sometimes they just don't stop.

♧ gonna be honest, he probably doesn't even notice they're flirting 99% of the time which was tough on his partner at the start. he has no idea they're into them in a not-just-a-friend way. one would have to be up front with him.

♧ kinda bad at swallowing his pride and apologizing when he's at fault for a fight, but his conscience manages to get him to do it after a few minutes.

Tobio Kageyama Headcannons

- he can be really sweet sometimes

- when he gets tired he starts mumbling incoherent gibberish

- kageyama and tsukishima have so much blackmail on eachother its crazy

- he likes cats but cats are scared of him

- his sense of direction is TERRIBLE

- he definitely regulates his diet somewhat to maximise his volleyball performance

- his mum is a milf and is reminded daily by at least someone

Snow Day!!

We got some snow where I live (and I'm finally out of my slump) so here are some Haikyuu characters enjoying a Snow Day!!

Kageyama and Hinata try to play volleyball but the cold makes it hard for Kags to use his hands (he refuses to touch the ball through gloves) so they go insane and start a snowball fight that turns into an all out war.

Tsukki is making snow-men. Yamaguchi helps him. They make snow-man versions of the entire team and send pictures to the rest of the team.

Noya and Tanaka find Kageyama and Hinata and join the war efforts. They text the other 2nd years for re-enforcments (Who show up with sleds to use as shields).

The third years show up to watch some of the war, but leave for Suga's house to drink hot chocolate and watch a movie.

Asahi falls asleep at Suga's house and Daichi wakes him up by dumping a bucket of snow on his head while Suga records it.

Asahi catches a cold from his wet hair, so the team shows up at his house to caroll him back to health (Nishinoya's idea). Asahi's parents have to shoo the team from their property.

I was planning to post more over break but kind of did the complete opposite. Consider this an apology. :)

On Monday, you arrive at practice and set up

As the boys enter and begin to warm up, you patiently await your brother's arrival

"Hey whose that guy?"- Hinata asks as he dozens of eyes follow him to the door

Headcannons on how kisses are with these characters <3 (btw I'm not actually going by team order I'm just doing the ones I think of first)

Haikyuu x gn! Reader

Karasuno:

Sawamura Daichi:

Kisses with Daichi are gentle. No matter how rough he may be being, or how angry he could be he takes his time to make sure you understand he loves you with every single kiss. His chapped lips press gently to your forehead or your lips in a way that makes you understand his angry, rough nature isn't reason to be intimidated by him. He is gentle with your lips and your heart, and he shows it in every single kiss he gives you.

Koushi Sugawara:

Kisses with Suga are sudden. He presses his lips to yours before he just walks off onto court not caring about the blushing mess he has left behind. He caresses your neck in sloppy kisses, no sexual intent behind them as he enjoys a lazy day by your side: the sudden action making you jump beneath his touch. He finds a way to catch you at least slightly off guard with every one of them and his spontaneous nature gives a fun, chaotic energy that no one can match.

Asahi Azumane:

Kisses with Asahi are meaningful. His lips tell the love stories and sing you the love songs in every kiss that hes too nervous to speak aloud. Ryuunosuke Tanaka:

Kisses with Tanaka are firm. They are reminders that hes here for you through good and bad and that no matter what's going on hes willing to drop it and stay by your side. He isnt good with words and never will be, so his kisses stay firm on your lips, neck and cheeks to remind you he loves you when he cant find the right words.

Yuu Nishinoya:

Kisses with Nishinoya are constant. He finds the time all the time to plant a few kisses before he has to part from you. Anywhere you go he steals a kiss before you head off that way. When you sit together somewhere he finds time to place a few to your neck or knuckles with zero worries for who's around or why they would care. His constant kisses are a constant reminder of how amazing he finds you and how much he adores you.

Chikara Ennoshita:

Kisses with Ennoshita are stolen. He gently turns your head his way and steals a small kiss while the team is looking away before a game, or presses a loving kiss to your shoulder while you lay together for a moment before you have to go somewhere. His hands will be intertwined with yours before he suddenly raises yours just enough to kiss your knuckles. Gentle, sudden and sweet his stolen kisses linger.

Hisashi Kinoshita:

Kisses with Kinoshita are light. He kisses as if hes worried his lips will hurt you and in some way he is. Hes worried you wont understand how much he loves you if he acts needy or too clingy, so he gives light kisses that linger for only a second or two before he pulls away with a smile. Even after his insecurities fade to the wayside his kisses are still lighter than feather, and instead are more frequent as he finds he just prefers the feeling.

Kazuhito Narita:

Kisses with Narita are domestic. He finds his time to kiss you when he leaves your side, a simple kiss on the cheek as he gives you a small smile and an "I love you" before you part ways. When you stay with him he kisses you good morning and good night and makes sure his kisses count as he snakes his arms around your waist as the two of you cuddle. Hes got an air of a soon to come domestic life that includes you.

Kageyama Tobio:

Kisses with Kageyama are intense. His lips lock perfectly onto yours as it seems he steals the breath from your lungs. You pull away and a small bit of saliva connects the two of you as you both pant a little. He acts as if this isnt something to leave you both breathless and will walk out onto court afterwards as if no one saw. His eyes sparkle with love and passion before and after the kisses, and it has a way of making your heart twirl.

Shoyo Hinata:

Kisses with Hinata are quick. They are loving and full of passion but what stands out the most is how quick they are. Kisses with Yamaguchi are loving. His lips linger on yours for a second and his little "I love you" that follows every kiss just makes the point even more obvious. He mutters out the phrase with every small, chaste kiss he gives you and for some its clingy but for you it melts your heart. The soothing way his hand runs circles on your waistline as he pulls you in a little closer in some of the tender moments you have shared makes your heart thump a little more as his words burn into the back of your mind. Kei Tsukishima:

Kisses with Tsukishima are lazy. His hands lazily run your hip lines as he either leans down slightly to your level or his head twists to interlock your lips with a lazy movement. His kisses are so much more layed back then you would have originally thought when you got together: but as soon as you two became comfortable with your kisses they became a leisurely thing you didnt think much about as anything other than a casual showing of your love for eachother. His lips and yours dance without too much thought and he couldn't ask for more.

Hinata - A Mix of Pop music and Indi Rock

Kageyama - Classical. I feel like he'd like classical music and listen to it frequently but I bet you he listen's to Mitsiki and Marina secretly while crying.

Sugawara - I feel like he'd like hip hop and Techno I feel like he would unexpectedly listen to the songs with a couple (ALOT) of curse words in them. If someone points it out, he'd just smile and nod.

Asahi - Pop just like Hinata but he would also vibe to lofi music. Seems like a guy that would listen rio romeo with Kiyoko and talk about her songs

Daichi - Seem's like someone who's into jazz (Extra headcannon he was a band kid in middle school)

Tanaka - I have no clue why I think of this but I think he'd listen to Intros and endings from romance dramas while daydreaming about dating Kiyoko and crying with scenarios he created in his head. Kiyoko - There’s not one type of genre she would listen to it all and would be open to her choices would Listen to Rio Romeo and Ado Yachi - Defiantly listens to Indi Pop and Indi Rock, if someone would ask her who are here top artists on her playlist Rio Romeo, Marina, Melanie Martinez and Mitsiki will be the top.

Nishinoya - I think he'd like EDM. Or just party music he would vibe to it and sing along. A side headcannon he remembers Eminems Song word for word escpeially rap god so he will flex on it and Tanaka would cheer him on.

Tsukki - Rap He seems like the guy who would enjoy twenty one Pilots and Artic Monkeys

Yamaguchi - Lofi Hip hop but I also get a vibe that secretly he wouldn't mind listening to Metal Just My opinion though.

Oikawa - Indie Pop/R&B he 100% listens to Marina and The diamonds. K-Pop and J-POP lover with tendou they both secretly bond over it and talk about it in there own GC.

Iwaizumi - Hip hop/Electropop Mattsun - Hip-Hop And Rap. Mattsun and Makki both vibe to the same genre of course. Hanamakki - Hip-Hop and ALSO Rap Mattsun and Makki both vibe to the same genre chaos. Yahaba - Synth-Pop Watari - He listens to Pop Rock and Funk Kiyotani - Heavy Metal and Punk is what I would say if he would listen too though he actually listens to Indie Music and Soft Lofi but if somebody catches him he would give them a glare and they would walk away so fast. Kindaichi - Techno and Pop Rock he seems like he would be into that Kunimi - Listens to Rock and Metal secretly along with sometimes Pop. I head cannon he might secretly be a metal head but he doesn't mind to listening to other genres at all.

Ushiwaka - I feel like he'd be the educational podcast and Classical music kind of guy

Tendou - Anime OSTs but also would listen to Punk Music. Sometimes he likes to look out the window and listen to cavetown and Lana Del Rey. K-Pop and J-pop lover fan boys with Oikawa HE DEF tried to get Ushijima and Goshiki to like K-pop and J-pop Semi - HE'S A MUSICIAN WE ALL KNOW SINCE IT'S CANNON! He listens to all genre's of music so he can be inspired out of boredom. Reon - Vibes to Classical music and Pop Shirabu - Secretly listens too Techno and Indie-Rock Kawanishi - Vibes to Funk and sometimes listens to Indie-Rock Akakura - Not Very popular opinion but think he would listen to Indie music Yamagata - Studies and listens to Rock Sagae - Quietly listens to Soft lofi while practicing and studying but when he feels hyper he listens to Pop Goshiki - Not a genre, but I think he'd listen to a playlist full of inspiring songs that make him feel like he's the best and get hyped but now I'm thinking he might be into Disco.

Kageyama Tobio with a crush:

• Has no idea what the heck is going on for ages, just steals glances at his crush and doesn’t realize he’s blushing;

• He either figures it out because he googled it, or someone told him (Tsukishima or Sugawara said something to tease him and found it hilarious when he genuinely had no idea what they were talking about);

• He finds it kind of annoying once he knows what’s going on because it takes up so much space in his head. Thinking about how cute and attractive they are means he isn’t thinking about volleyball or trying not to fail his academics, and no, he cannot multitask unless it involves volleyball;

• He got this crush because they spent hours studying together, so now he doesn’t know what to do because studying with them no is damn near impossible when all he can think about is how nice their hair smells, his grades are dropping, his team and his teachers are on his ass and the one person who could help him is the entire reason he’s in trouble in the first place;

• Please, help the boy, he’s short-circuiting every time he looks at you, for the love of everything corner him somewhere and get him to spit it out;

• Tobio had never been a huge thinker, especially with things he knew nothing about, like crushes, so when everyone tells him that the solution is to come out and tell you, he just goes ahead and does it;

• Did he expect to get a romantic partner out of it? No. Is he incredibly happy about calling you his? Absolutely. He now has something to brag about other than volleyball, and as for studying, he sits closer so he can smell your hair, even run his fingers through it if he’s feeling bold, and now it actually helps him focus;

• Kageyama Tobio is hopeless at relationships, but his feelings are always sincere, he’ll learn your every tell and quirk, especially the ones that mean you’re sad. When he knows you’re having a bad day, he knows the solution is simple, all he does is open his arms and speak softly “do you need a hug?”

• It’s his go-to move, and he loves doing it, because it makes him feel needed.

Tsukishima Kei with a crush:

• A crush for Kei only comes after knowing someone for a good long time, and I mean years here;

• He’s not one to trust easily, and for anyone to be on the “romantic radar” for him, he has to know them like the back of his hand, and yes, he’s aware that this means they know him just as well;

• He likes that they know him, he likes that he can’t lie to them, he likes that they’ve grown thick-skinned to his insults and give as good as they get (because come on, being his friend for years means you’re a sass master);

• He’s seen sides of you that no one else has, and knows the very second he started looking at you as more than a friend;

• The moment had probably been nothing special, just walking somewhere or eating lunch together or something you did together literally every day, but for some reason, that moment had made his chest ache, and from then on, he knew he was doomed;

• He immediately begins playing with the idea in his head, of having a romantic partner at this point in both of your lives, because he knows your every struggle and ambition, he will not act on the crush unless he feels like it won’t hinder either of you;

• Let’s be honest, he’s a pessimist, so of course, he’ll fill his head with all of the worst possible outcomes, and ultimately the fear of losing you will put an end to any courage he might have built up to talk to you;

• He’s a good actor, comes out the next day like he hadn’t spent the entire night overthinking a relationship with you, and he doesn’t mention it to a soul, not even Tadashi;

• As far as he was concerned, he’s made up his mind, accounted for every variable…except you;

• No matter how long he’d thought about it, no scenario he had dreamt up had actually involved you, confessing to him with a handmade gift in your trembling hands;

• Calculations and worst-case scenarios are damned, he couldn’t say no to you, couldn’t subject you to the very rejection that had stayed his hand in confessing himself;

• He’d never forget the feeling of kissing you for the first time, he’d stolen your lips the very second after your confession had left your lips, and that little handmade gift you gave him hadn’t left his person for a single second since;

• He went on, admiring you for having the balls to do what he couldn’t. You’d never know about his hesitation, you’d never know that if you hadn’t confessed that day, you wouldn’t be wearing that ring on your left-hand years later.

Yamaguchi Tadashi with a crush:

• Credit where credit is due, Tadashi has a gift with people, he’s empathetic and self-aware, but he’s also rather self-conscious;

• His crush is someone he admires, professionally, academically, innocently, at first;

• They’re someone who never underestimates him or compares him to the other first-years, and before he knows what day it is, he’d in deep;

His face always feels warm when they’re around, he’s ashamed of how quickly he fell for them and tells himself that someone that perfect would never even look at him that way;

• As time goes on though, his team helps him become more confident in himself and his abilities, but outside of serving in volleyball, he’s just…Tadashi, nothing special about him;

• The big game-changer came when his crush comes to one of Karasuno’s games (he doesn’t notice them until after the game, thankfully or he would have given himself a nervous breakdown);

• He aced his serves for that match, he scored more points for the team than he ever had before and he was walking on clouds long after the match was over;

• For his actions when he saw his crush, he blamed adrenaline, and them, for pulling him into a hug, even when he was all sweaty and in uniform;

• They told him he was amazing, they told him how proud he made them, singing his praises in his ear while their arms were wrapped around him, he couldn’t have stopped his next words if he’d tried;

• “I have a massive crush on you!”

• He’d said this a little too loudly, in a public hallway, surrounded by his entire team who were very much staring at them now, and…oh god was he hyperventilating again?

• He thinks it’s been ages, but in reality, their answer was swift and doubtless, spoken with a smile to light up the world and followed with a kiss to his cheek;

• “Good, ‘cause I’ve got one on you too! Ice cream?”

• “Huh?!” he croaked, staring at them with wide eyes, hands awkwardly placed on this hips, rigid as wood;

• “Say yes, Yamaguchi.”

• Reflexively, he nodded at Tsuki’s words, his crush giggled at pulled away, telling him they’d be waiting at the gate, leaving Tadashi to be mobbed by his rabid senpais that were so incredibly happy (and highkey jealous because you’re hot af);

• He became such a picture-perfect partner, and though he needs to be reminded that you want him, not someone else, the same way he grew confident in his serves, he grows confident in the relationship and makes you proud to call him yours.

Hinata Shoyo with a crush:

• Ball of sunshine, he’s a social magnet, drawing people in everywhere he goes, it’s no wonder half the setters in Japan want to set for him;

• He meets his crush through volleyball (because of course, he does), they’re on a team themselves, a libero;

• He sees them practicing with some of their team, ends up joining in, and learns that you can set as well as dig up just about any ball;

• He doesn’t realize what’s happening until he starts looking out for you at training camps, texting you every day (because of course he got your number the first time he met you);

• You offered to practice with him once or twice a week because according to everyone, his receives sucked, who better to help him than a libero?

• Once again, he doesn’t realize that those times, alone with you in his back garden, just passing a ball back and forth, had become his happy place, whether you were quietly guiding him or joking around, he felt secure;

• The crush itself didn’t come in until later when he started seeing you as more than just a safe place and a way to learn;

• On a bus ride back to your place, you offered to share your music, and he learned what you liked to listen to, a glance at your room told him what you liked to read, what posters you had up, your favorite shows, the food you hated;

It was all these little things that piled up, he didn’t realize what was happening until he was reciting your favorite order at a restaurant he’d only been to once before you’d even opened your mouth;

• That moment felt so right to him, he didn’t want to seem domineering and instantly apologized for ordering for you, but the second you told him that this was in fact, what you’d been planning to order, he smiled;

• He asked you out the literal day he realized he had a crush on you, come on, this is Hinata, overthinking is not his thing;

• The next time he was at practise, he made sure his entire team was aware that “his partner was just as awesome a libero as Noya-senpai!”

• If you want to fluster him, ask him “only just as awesome?” Bonus points if Noya is nearby because he can’t wait to watch his underclassman trip over his words;

• After that, he switches to saying “my partners definitely the cutest libero though, no offense senpai!”

But he just stared at you blushing and you threw at him the carton of milk he drank without your permission

Since then he never drink your milk

But he also sometimes makes you mad a little bit so you start scolding him in your mother tongue

Too much of a tsun-tsun to actually confess that he likes it and ask for you to say something in your mother tongue

Kita Shinsuke

He already knew your language

Unlike the other two, he can hold his conversation with you in your mother tongue

There’s this one time where you try to prank him by saying that you love him and he’s very handsome in your language

And this son of a sun replied to you in your language

Oh how shocked you are

Like this guy is too fluent!

You even asked him if he’s really Japanese because of how fluent he is and you just got his rare laugh, and you just fell harder to the man

And he’s proud of it

So whenever you forget some Japanese words?

He knows what it is like he came read your mind

Maybe he can?

Just imagine the look that the volleyball team have whenever you are in the gym and you are talking to Kita in you language

Boy the gym is silent and they just look at you two like you belong to some other planet or something
