Katsuki Bakugou x Reader "Warm Hands". Period comfort!
I died today exams are coming up and my body decided that I must suffer, endometriosis is no joke. PERIOD COMFORT.
Tumblr media
Katsuki was never one for comfort, partly because he never really got it himself so giving it was like standing in cold water. The first time you and Katsuki were together during your period you kept to yourself not wanting to bother him with your mood swings.
He quickly caught on blowing it off as you having an off week. The second time around he was a little more observant noticing how you got more upset over simple work and how you seemed to always have a stomach ache in class.
One Ill fated day you ran out of pads quickly running to Momo giving her a knowing look, she handed you her bag as you ran off. That was only the start of your shitty day. The pills you took to kill your cramps had worn off so now you're suffering in class. Things took a turn for the worse after lunch when whatever the cafeteria food seemed to kill your stomach.
Back in class holding your stomach you left for the bathroom holding your stomach as your lunch betrayed you. After a few minutes of suffering on the bathroom floor, apparently Aizawa felt the need to send Momo to check on you. She helped you up and to recovery girl, not that she could do much but let you rest.
After class Katsuki made his way to the nurses office, seeing you curled in a ball with a bottle of pain killers next to you "The hell happened to you?" He spoke in a rather mean tone but you could still feel the sincerity of his words "Cramps" you said sitting up wrapping your hands around his waist. After a few minutes you grab his hand and get up.
He walks you back to your dorm letting you lean most of your body weight on him most the walk there. Not having any food in your system you felt your body weaken using what little energy you had to lay down. Katsuki watches you curl in a ball a soft yet concerning look still ligers. "I'll make you some soup. Don't die while I'm gone" he says gruffly placing a kiss on your head
When he returns he has a tray with soup, some warm tea and chocolate? You look up at him a bit confused "Why the chocolate?" You say still slightly dazed. "Im not a complete moron.. plus I ran into Momo and she told me" he says the second half is almost incoherent.
You look up at him with a smile holding his rather warm hands to your cold ones. The blissful moment is rudely interrupted by the feeling of a cramp in your lower stomach. Clenching your stomach holding back the tears that had been compiled caused by the many cramps and stress of the day.
A slight groan manages to escape your lips as you feel the side if you bed sink in next to you. Not saying anything you feel your boyfriend pull you towards him. "Where does it hurt" he says avoiding your slightly confused gaze you place his hands on your lower stomach leaning into his touch.
One main up side of Katsuki's quirk was his body radiated more heat then the average person, more so in his hands. "Thank you" you say slowly dozing off.
When you awake you feel your boyfriend's hands still wrapped around you. You walk to the bathroom taking care of yourself. When you come back Katsuki is still asleep so you crawl back on the bed laying in his lap.
The day continues with one similar to the one before.
Sorry this one was a little weird and shorter than I wanted. I'm tired, sick and sleepy but wanted to write this.
Requests are open!

Yandere Wally is darling with his Sick Wife S/O. You can decide if it's a fatal illness or a normal illness like the flu or something.
Tumblr media
Wally is rather clueless when it comes to sicknesses of any kind, he'll kneel at your bedside staring over you with a look of concern. Sweat on your forehead, your breathing being more labored than the previous night has him in quite a panic. He's rarely ever caught an illness before but thankfully you two aren't completely helpless.
The older members of the neighborhood have taken care of Wally before and certainly, despite your puppets protectiveness over his darling in this frightening situation, will guide you through any type of sickness as well. The whole community basically surrounds your bed after he reaches out for assistance. Wally managing to throw himself over Barnaby's shoulder to watch and take mental notes of what liquids and items they give to cure his darling before Julie makes a good point to give you space and room to breath
Wally however doesn't particularly listen to that last bit, in fact he's snuggled up to you in bed, telling you half hearted jokes hoping that laughter is indeed the best medicine.
Your puppet of man isn't exactly the best at easing you to health but you surely never felt lonely any step of the way, Wally was nuzzled up to you ready to provide anything requested of him, even Home was squeaking with concern every so often, running the bath water till it turned warm for you to sink into, decongest and relax into. Best believe it'll basically be a celebration once this flu of yours subsides.

Lovesick
TW: Aesthetic photo
Tumblr media
Pairing: Fred Weasley x fem!reader
Summary: Fred comforts you while you’re sick, well at least he tries to.
Me? Writing fluff??? (I had a head cold & was delirious writing half of this)
———————————————————————
The morning birds hovering over diagon alley chirped in a harmonious melody of optimism and grace. Their song unfortunately becoming intwined in the sound of Y/N’s unwarranted retching.
“Good morning, darling,” Fred stretched, briefly regarding his partner’s state.
Her extremely curved spine and bent neck created a naturally alluring sight (to the blind).
Fred cringed at the mess she’d amassed on the floorboards below, patting her back rather discouragingly before prioritising his own comfort.
“Are you not going to work?” Y/n prodded, grabbing her wand and whispering a quick ‘scourgify’.
“No, I’m perfectly content watching you create your own moat around our bed,” he retorted, nestling against the outline of his dense head on his pillow.
“And I suppose, you’re incapable of looking after yourself,” he quickly added, after feeling her burning forehead, faking a ‘sizzle’ sound as he pressed his fingertips onto the mattress below.
“What if you get sick?” She muttered in return, eyes half closed. The tempting comfort of sleep soothing her ill state.
“What if you get sick?” He mocked, holding his nose shut in an impression of her ill voice. Being a lab rat to his own products, he had unintentionally built a form of immunity to illness.
Her weary eyes regarded him with faint amusement.
“Besides, cant get sick with all this muscle,” he bragged, flexing his arms in an embarrassing display of a masculine ego.
“Merlin, you’re worse than my headache,” she groaned, swatting his face away from hers.
“Hypochondriac,” he replied, brushing stray strands of hair away from her face.
“Ginger,” she said simply, burrowing her head into the crook of his neck.
He held her feverish body close to his, tucking her worries into the safety of his embrace. Admirably, he swallowed his horror each time her red, irritated nose scrunched with a sniffle. Usually it was partnered with a leaking fluid, grazing his woollen jumper.
Sometime later Fred awoke with a sneeze, eyes swollen and inflamed.
“Fuck,” he said.
“Indeed.”

Actually Asthmatic
Summary: Reader comes to work despite being sick and pepper makes sure you’re ok.
TW: asthma, fever, overworking, sickness lol
Pairing: pepper x Platonic!Reader
Words: 2.5K
A/n Part two coming soon (part two will have natty and wands >:). Also, so much has happened since I posted last and I’m so sorry it’s taken this long. I’ve been super busy with uni. But… I got a girlfriend :) I also have a ton of uni work I have to keep up with and I have like no time for anything now. But I will do my best to keep writing. So expect my updates to be a bit more spaced but I’m NOT giving up on this account :)
Living in a dorm was an interesting thing. You had a room, kitchen and bathroom to yourself, but it was lonely.
You knew you were in for a rough time when your lab partner came to a lecture sick. Not only that, but they were coughing … a lot. You knew no matter how hard you tried you were bound to get sick and mentally you resigned yourself to your new fate.
Lo and behold the next day your throat hurt, but it was manageable. Another day passes and your head had begun to feel like it was stuffed with cotton. A truely lovely experience. To make matters even better, you had three classes and work today. Your shift at stark industries was something you couldn’t miss even if you wanted to.
Pepper was coming to check on your branch of the company and you needed to be able to show her the numbers at the meeting you were both attending. You needed to prove it hasn’t been a mistake to hire a collage student with crippling debt and insomnia to run a branch of what was probably the most successful company in New York if not the world.
You flipped the page on your textbook and bit back a sigh. There was still an hour left of class and the world seemed to be against you, time was moving slower, and it felt rather personal.
You rested your head on the table and tried to block out the droning of your collage professor, he was a great guy, but your head felt like it was being run over by a bus and your cheeks were warm and your fingers cold.
You must have drifted off at some point because before you knew it someone was nudging you. You groggily sat up and squinted into the light, a frown marring your face.
“Y/n/n, get up. Class is over.” It was one of your friends, you gave a half grunt and looked around.
The lecture hall was quickly emptying out and so you grabbed your bag and textbook and stood, swaying slightly.
“Whoa. You good?” Your friend asked and you nodded mumbling something about standing up too fast before beelining for the door.
You bid goodbye to your friend at the train station and boarded the tube that would take you to work.
It was about a five-minute walk from the train to stark industries, but the cold weather that threatened your lungs working in tandem with your asthma and what you were now beginning to think was the start of a nasty chest infection, made it seem like hours of hiking through the amazon after dark.
You adjusted the backpack on your shoulder and waited for the train to slow, the next stop was yours and despite it being the quiet carriage there was still the loud sound of train tracks passing under making your head feel like a drum being beaten by a tone-deaf monkey on steroids.
The train almost had pity on you as it slowed just as you thought the monkey had found an amp to make his music ‘better.’
You stumbled off the platform and hurried up the steps to the footpath. The crowd jostled you and you felt more than desire to just let the ocean of people sweep you out with the tide.
But you forged on. So did the monkey.
You must have looked like death incarnate by the time you arrived at the lobby. You were flushed at the very least and you could hear the wheezing in your breath as you took in air by the lungful.
You scanned your keycard once you had located it in the mess that was your backpack. Stepping into the clean white walls of stark industries made you feel like a racoon in an upper-class neighbourhood.
You made your way to the elevator that would take you to the board room and finally paused to catch your breath which was now just a string of wheezes. You knew that because the look the lady at the reception shot you was one that was a mix of concern, confusion and pity.
Your throat was raw, and your face was congested as well as your chest. You sounded like you swallowed a frog, and the frog was also now sick and subsequently congested.
When the lift arrived you thanked Stark, who was your own personal god that there was nobody else in it. You stepped in and lent against the railing after thumbing the button for your floor with what was probably more force than necessary.
You sat back against the cool metal bar and watched the numbers climb higher and higher as you approached the master board room which was also the same floor as peppers office. A place you rarely visited except when you had the quarterly board meeting like today.
As the lift pinged and the doors slide open smoothly you stepped off and gathered your bearings.
You caught sight of a door at the end of the hall with peppers name on it and smiled. She was also one of your own personal heroes. She worked like a horse and kicked ass like an avenger all while wearing heels and a smile that said, ‘don’t fuck with me before I’ve had my coffee’.
You navigated your way to the board room and cracked the door a bit. So far there were a few people in there and it was still early. You smiled at the unfamiliar faces and sat down.
You didn’t know any of them yet and so you kept to yourself as you and the others waited for pepper and the rest of the companies branch managers and board members to come in.
After a bit pepper entered looking as swauve and elegant as ever. She took her seat at the head of the table and took note of the empty chairs with a small frown.
“It seems some people are still absent, so we’ll wait for a bit until the numbers are more … concrete.” She said with a smile drawing a few laughs from around the room.
You kept your head down, but your eyes kept straying back to pepper.
After a few minutes of you being sat there doodling in your notepad, the meeting started.
You paid attention to most things but once you had presented your numbers you had more or less zoned out. At one point you caught pepper looking at you closely and decided to try and pay attention again.
But the meeting droned on and soon your chest felt tighter and tighter. Your face flushed with the effort of suppressing a cough. The wheeze that had left you in the elevator had seemingly returned and you were doing your best to keep it quiet.
Your eyes looked around the room for an escape and you caught pepper looking at you again. She looked worried.
‘Are you ok?’ She mouthed and you nodded but she looked unsure.
You decided to leave, just to step out for a moment to get some air and let your lungs do their thing.
You waited until all eyes were back on the man presenting before slipping out the door.
You beelined for the bathroom which were luckily empty with everyone currently on the floor in the meeting.
You braced yourself by placing your hands either side of the sink and let out a string of deep chesty coughs. The wheeze got worse, and you cursed yourself for leaving your asthma inhaler in your backpack in the board room.
The coughing still hadn’t ceased, and it seemed the attack was making it harder to catch your breath than normal.
You barely registered the door to the bathrooms being opened and the sound of high heels click across the floor in hurried steps.
You felt a hand press between your shoulder blades as someone drew slow circles on your back. Someone was telling you to breathe and you recognised the voice.
Pepper.
You felt something being pressed into your hands and looked down to find a glass of water.
You gratefully took a sip and found it soothed your throat pretty well.
After a second, the fit ended and you just had the wheeze to worry about.
“Are you alright?” Pepper asked looking worried and trying not to fuss over you.
You shot her a weak smile.
“I’m ok.” You grinned unconvincingly. She gave you a look you assumed tony often received and caved. “I’m sick.” You rasped.
“I’d have never guessed.” Pepper joked rolling her eyes and guided you by the shoulders out the door.
“Where are we going?” You asked still holding the water.
“Well, you need to rest, and the board can handle the rest of the meeting. I want you to get that cough looked at and i have some emails to check. So, we are going to my office, you are going to lie down and I’m going to get some work done.” Pepper said with a smile, and you looked at her like she had hung the stars in the sky.
“Thank you.” You mumbled.
“That’s quite alright honey.” She smiled and then her brow crinkled as if she just noticed your wheezing. Which spoiler alert… she had.
You avoided her eyes as she scrutinised you closely. After a second her pace slowed and yours matched it before she stepped in front of you and placed a hand on your chin. She tilted your head back to look at her and met your gaze with a motherly worried expression.
“You’re wheezing.” She noted.
“And you’re pepper potts.” You said back looking nervous.
“Yes.” She deadpanned in response. “Y/n, are you … asthmatic?” She asked and you looked away.
That was enough of a response for her as she sighed. “Wheres your puffer sweetie?”
“Back in my backpack in the meeting room.” You mumbled.
“Alright here’s what we are going to do. I’m going to get you set up in my office and then go and get your bag for you.” She said and resumed her pace to her office.
When she arrived, she scanned her keycard and opened the door. It was an amazing office. Floor to ceiling windows in a corner room made the whole space perfectly lit with natural light.
You stepped inside in awe, and she guided you over to an expensive looking blue couch with a fond smile.
“You stay here, I’ll be right back.” She said and you grinned and nodded still star struck.
You could see the New York skyline from up here, the city bustling below.
You had barely blinked by the time pepper had returned.
She handed you your bag which you took and thanked her again.
“Now take whatever you need to and try to get some rest, I’ll be at my desk just there if you need anything.” She said with a smile, lingering to make sure you took your inhaler.
After you had uncapped the small blue device and administered the medicine, she gave you a curt nod and headed to her desk.
Almost as soon as your head hit the soft fluffy throw pillows on the couch you were out.
The next few hours were spent toeing the line between sleep and wakefulness. At one point as you dozed you heard pepper talking to someone on the phone before you returned to sleep.
Pepper had sat down to get some work done but had barely typed out one email before her eyes were back on you. You seemed so small in this moment. Just a young adult, you reminded her of peter. She wanted to make sure you were ok and the small wheeze coming from your lips made her worried.
Your face was slightly flushed, and pepper was sure nobody had been messing with the room temperature controls. Feeling maternal, she picked up her phone and punched in the number for Bruce’s lab. Better safe than sorry.
After a short conversation with Bruce in which she relayed your symptoms, he decided he wanted to see you to run further tests and rule out pneumonia. Pepper had looked over at you and agreed, you had been sleeping for nearly four hours now and seemingly weren’t doing much better, and including your asthma she didn’t want to risk anything.
Bruce and pepper agreed to bring you to the avengers' tower to check your lungs and maybe put you on a nebuliser to be safe as the wheeze was still lingering.
When the phone call ended pepper stood from her desk and walked over to the couch, gently she sat down beside you and nudged your shoulder. You groaned and rolled over trying to escape.
Stifling a giggle pepper placed her hand on your arm, frowning when she felt heat radiating off you. She paused and then lifted her hand to your face, laying the backside of her palm to your forehead and feeling for a fever.
Finding what she was looking for, pepper gently rubbed your arm again.
“Y/n? Honey, you have to get up. We’re going to the doctor sweetie.” She said softly and you whined and buried your face in the couch.
“Tired and don’t wanna move.” You mumbled into the cushions.
“You can lean on me the whole way to the car, alright?” Pepper said carding her hands through your hair.
“Okay.” You mumbled and blinked your eyes open to look at her. The haze of fever was settled in and the pink hue of your cheeks made you look both dazed and cute.
With peppers help you stand up and lean into her side. She had already called happy to bring the car around and he was going to meet you both out front.
With your bag slung over one shoulder and you curled into her other side, pepper slowly began the trek back to the lift. The board meeting had ended hours ago so it was just the two of you left on the whole floor.
After a slow and sleepy trip down to the car pepper got settled into the backseat with you so she could keep an eye on how you were fairing.
Your cheeks had darkened slightly, and she felt your forehead again as happy peeled out of the car park. Your fever had definitely risen, and she frowned as the glossy look in your eyes was increased ten-fold.
Part two coming soon :)

You’re Safe Here ˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖
Okay seriously though…. I will not sit here and try to pretend that this fic wasn’t entirely for myself cause wow the whole thing is just self indulgent fluff….
Disgustingly sick Remi with the most sweet and pure caretaking from his mate. About 8k words with a bit more snz…… plus a little more mess than I usually write. Also has Levi help Remi hold back at one point 😏
CW: There’s also one sentence in this about nausea, but nothing past that.
@thekinkyleopard owns Levi as always! 🩶
Tumblr media
Remi's peaceful slumber was abruptly shattered by a heinous nightmare, vivid and horrifying as they ever were. The wolf's cry echoed through the darkness of his dream, but its haunting howl also pierced the veil of reality, shaking the walls of their bedroom as he jolted awake in a cold sweat. His heart pounded in his chest like a jackhammer and every nerve in his body was on high alert, fueled by a surge of adrenaline that made his breath come in ragged gasps.
Frantically scanning the familiar surroundings, Remi's green eyes were wide with terror as he tried to shake off the lingering effects of the nightmare. But there was an unfamiliar tightness in his chest and throat, raw and constricting, making it difficult to catch his breath. Before he could calm himself down, his mate's hand squeezed his thigh in a gesture of comfort, but it only served to startle him even more.
With a yelp, the wolf nearly leapt out of bed, trembling as the remnants of the nightmare lingered in his mind. It was a constant battle, trying to keep the terrifying memories at bay, but they always managed to claw their way back into his consciousness, taunting him with their brutality.
“Remington!— Acushla! Hey! It’s just me!” Levi waved his hands in front of his mate’s face, trying to get the others attention.
Quickly, Remi was pulled back to reality by the leopard’s soothing voice. Before he could express his appreciation to the feline, however, the tightness in his chest demanded the spotlight, and his appreciative sigh was choked off by uncharacteristically breathless coughs that rattled within the wolf’s clearly irritated lungs.
Groaning loudly in annoyance over the way his body ached and his head throbbed, Remi forcefully fell back against the mountain of pillows behind him. After a second, he finally turned his head towards his mate, who cautiously smiled at him from the other side of the bed where he was nested in his soft snow leopard print blanket, with a thick, yellow hardcover book in his lap. A half full cup of coffee sat on his nightstand, and the lamp next to him had been dimmed as much as it could, splashing a calming yellow light across that side of the room.
“What’re you doing?” Remi asked through squinted eyes, his voice laden with a subtle hoarseness to it.
Taken off guard by the question, Levi cocked an eyebrow, looking from the book in his hand, then back to Remi and then back to the book again, confused.
“Whatdya mean, Rem? Clearly I’m stealing the Declaration of Independence; isn’t it obvious?” The feline giggled coyly, but the wolf was unamused, rolling his emerald green eyes with a more serious expression over a playful one.
Truth was, he felt like something someone would scrape from a storm drain or a gutter; just soggy and cold and overall just— icky. He didn’t mean to take it out on Levi, and he knew the leopard didn’t deserve it. But his fuse was so short currently, he couldn’t help it.
“No but really.. it’s this amazing book I picked up at the book store a couple days ago with a bunch of different Erotica short stories! At first, it didn’t even sound like something I would like personally, but I started reading it last night and I couldn’t believe —“
Cutting the leopard off mid sentence, the wolf muffled a grunt into his pillow, the pulse of an intense migraine throbbing through his temples. He reached back towards the now silent leopard seated next to him and gently patted the other’s thin thigh through the comforter that was wrapped up around them both.
“I love you, Levi, but—“ Remi’s voice cracked, and he had to forcefully swallow the sticky saliva that coated the inside of his mouth before continuing, though the hoarseness in his tone was clearly heard now. “—but I just— need 5 minutes without any talking..”
Grimacing outwardly, he brought a hand up to his face and pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index finger, squeezing his eyes shut. It felt like someone had dropped a cinder block on the top of his head then proceeded to beat him with a shovel, and he was suddenly aware of the pressure within his eyes as his heartbeat pulsed painfully behind his eyelids. The congestion that decided to invade his sinuses the night before had definitely decided to set up shop, making breathing through his nose an imaginary concept. His ears were even clogged, which didn’t help the intensity of the pain within his skull.
Why did he always get such little warnings when it came to his immune system? He would be perfectly healthy the beginning of one day, and within 24 hours he was completely incapacitated by illness.
Without turning his head back and seeing Levi, he could just feel the offense taken by his blunt words. He knew he needed to correct himself and clarify with his mate, however, the energy it took to even confirm with his body about how absolutely shitty he felt was enough to lull the wolf back to sleep for a moment, dozing off with his mouth agape and a thin line of drool escaping his clearly chapped lips, falling onto the pillow below.
The smaller male scoffed almost silently, adjusting the book on his lap and tossing the wolf an insulted glare. “Sure, good morning to you, too, dick.”
Levi shook his head with a frustrated sigh, craning his neck upward a little to try and see his mate’s face, trying to gauge what he was even doing to need silence. When he noticed Remi asleep again, the leopard rolled his icy blue eyes with a huff, before returning to his book.
“Damn, Rude,” he whispered to himself with a crinkle of his freckled nose.
If you didn’t count the loud, ragged mouth breathing, the sub conscious sniffles his body preformed to keep the mess within his sinus cavity from escaping as much as it possibly could while he was asleep, or the occasional unintelligible word muttered in a hoarse, almost grotesque voice, 20 minutes of near silence passed as the smaller male continued to read his book, getting fully enveloped in the story he was reading.
Just as he was coming up on an important part in the plot, he felt Remi’s unconscious body shift next to him, and he managed a quick glance up to his mate, who was completely still again, although now positioned on his back. His broad chest rose and fell rhythmically, although more labored and frantic than usual.
Without giving credit to the sheen of sweat that coated his tanned skin, causing the damp sheet to stick to his bare back, Levi paid the wolf no more mind, desperate to read his book. He picked the book up this time, holding it out in front of his face while his eyes scanned the words on the page until he read something familiar, causing the white haired male to squeak happily before burying his nose back into the text again.
Not even a few minutes pass before Remi’s previously motionless body shifted next to him again; his defined nose quivered involuntarily against the moonlight that was pouring through the bedroom window and glinting off of the single watery line of snot that threatened to drip down the raven haired male’s upper lip.
Quickly placing his thumb firmly under the last word he had read as to not lose his place, the leopard reluctantly ripped his attention from his book again to shoot another glance toward his mate. He had been too invested in the book he still tightly clutched in his hand that his mate’s usual tells had gone unheard and unnoticed, and the cat was caught off guard by the familiar pre sneeze face that twisted the other’s features.
Suddenly, one good inhale caused Remi’s large chest swelled so full it looked as if he might burst, followed by a barely audible whimper, before his lanky frame snapped forward aggressively into a fully upright position.
“hh'IETSH’UE! Hihhh—Hihh’EXTSH’ue! HI’DTSCHIEW!” The wolf sneezed harshly down towards his own lap, decorating the surface of the blanket with thick droplets of mess. His nose ran profusely, causing him to try to frantically snort back the thick wall of congestion without much success as the pink hue that dusted his fevered cheeks became even more intense.
His strategy only resulted in a ticklish coughing fit that rattled deep within his chest cavity, and lasted a little longer than either of the two would have liked, earning a concerned frown from the leopard as he set his book down on the nightstand and reached out one of his pale hands to gently rub circles in his mates damp, muscular back.
“Ghnnhh..” the wolf moaned quietly with his head in his hands, melting into the other’s touch and sniffling unproductively.
Every muscle in his body screamed at him, and the pressure within his skull was almost unbearable after such a rough wake up. Wincing again, Remi brought one of his large hands up to grip his temples between his thumb and index finger, squeezing his eyes shut to try and relieve some of the pressure in some way.
Levi tilted his head as he studied his ailing mate, getting closer to the wolf on the bed and starting to massage up and down the other’s back more intensely, this time with both hands. As the other’s deliberate pressure was increased on his aching muscles, Remi sighed in contentment, turning into jelly within the cat’s expert hands.
“What can I do for you, acushla? Let me help you.” The leopard whispered as quietly as possible to avoid aggravating the other’s headache.
“Hhhnm?” Remi willed his eyes open to glance back at Levi, and the usually bright green glow of his irises was now dim and unsaturated, while dark purple circles painted the flushed flesh under his eyes.
“Oh— Ndo, that’s okay.. Th-Th-hehhh- thandk you, kihhh— ihh- ih’TTSSHH! hih’iiiSSHHH’uu!!” Remi tucked his face into his shoulder to direct the sneezes away from the other, following them up with a thick, waterlogged snuffle and a pained sigh.
“Bless you baby.. do you have a headache? You want me to get you some ibuprofen?” Levi asked gently, already shuffling his body to get up to grab the bottle of medicine.
“Thandks.. and yeah, I guess I could take sobe..” The wolf sighed and admitted defeat, dragging his wrist under his nose and leaving a wet trail up his forearm. With another thick sniffle and a grimace, Remi shuddered, suddenly feeling the air hitting his still damp skin and causing goosebumps to rise all over his body.
“Cad you see if we have ady tissues left, too?” He asked rather pathetically, leaning back against the headboard and pulling the comforter that was lazily draped over his waist up under his chin,  curling up his comically long body so he was in a tight ball around himself.
Levi nodded towards the wolf with an endearing smile, getting up and making his way to the door.
“Of course baby.”
After a second, the leopard returned with a large bottle of ibuprofen paired with a cold bottle of water from the fridge, and gently plopped it into Remi’s lap with a smile.
“Here’s this, and—“ with a sheepish expression, Levi pulled out a fresh roll of paper towels from behind his back and offered it to the wolf. “We ran out of tissues, but I can get more in a little bit.. until then, this is all we had..”
With a single defeated chuckle, Remi took the roll from the other’s outstretched hands, shaking his head as he ripped off a few of the first sheets and folded them twice, then three times before tenting them over his nose. With a loud, productive gurgle, he blew his nose into the paper before exhaling a sigh as he balled it up in his hand, absolutely drenched through. The rough paper towel was harsh against his poor reddened nostrils, only furthering the chapped, irritated skin there. With a ragged inhale, he tried to catch his breath enough to open the bottle of ibuprofen in his lap, but when he was distracted by another onslaught of chesty coughs, Levi’s optimistic expression quickly faded into concern and he sat on the edge of the bed close to his mate, taking the large bottle of medicine from his weakened grasp.
Remi didn’t protest like he usually would; instead he just watched the cat with a pitiful look on his downtrodden features, which made Levi more concerned than anything.
Dumping out 4 ibuprofen into his ivory palm, the cat offered them to Remi with a gentle rumble from low in his throat that sounded like a purr, and a small smile.
He had to remind himself inwardly that his mate always did better when he didn’t lose himself in worry over him, and instead just tried to be optimistic. The wolf always had been bad about absorbing the cats emotions, and he needed to be there for Remi right now, not stress him out more.
Remi reached out to take the ibuprofen almost like a zombie, his expression blank as he took the pills from Levi’s hand, and the leopard could easily feel the heat radiating off of Remi’s hands. Reaching into the wolf’s lap, the cat snatched the unopened bottle of water, cracking the cap off and holding it out to his mate, who took it in an equally uncharacteristic manner as he had taken the pills.
As Remi took a gulp of the cool water, it suddenly occurred to him how dehydrated he was. Without much thought, he lifted the bottle of water so it was almost completely vertical and began to chug the contents as if his life depended on it, only popping his lips from the rim after a moment in order to gasp for air, and sputter a few stray coughs towards his knees breathlessly. Thankfully, at least a couple good gulps still remained in the bottle afterward, and once he caught his breath, he filled his large mouth with the last bit of his water, before tossing back the four pills that he held in his sweaty palm. Once Levi had watched the other take the pills, he tousled the wolf’s hair lovingly as he stood up again.
“I’ll get you another water bottle, and I want to see how high your fever is..” The smile that he plastered on his face was clearly forced, his head reeling with concern for the state of his mate, but Remi was too out of it to call him out for it.
“Okay, thandk you..” Remi croaked out, only his eyes following Levi as he walked out of the door.
He scurried to the kitchen that was only down a short hallway, stopping at the drawer at the very end that was deemed the “miscellaneous drawer” and for some reason was the spot they had decided the thermometer lived. He fished out the instrument from the depths of the drawer and closed it quickly, holding it up with the screen towards him and pressing the button to confirm it still worked. When the numbers lit up across the led screen, he silently cheered to himself before turning towards the rest of the kitchen. As the leopard pulled open the fridge and pulled out another fresh bottle of water, he was startled by another spontaneous fit that was uncharacteristically loud for his mate.
“HEHH’DZSCHh’iEEw! Hihhh- HHHH- hHEH’TZSCHh’UE! Hd’IZTSsHHhhh’ih! HAH—! hiiih’AETTCHHuh!” The wolf sneezed loudly, scrambling to snatch another sheet of paper towel off of the roll and clamp it to his nose and mouth, however the first two escaped before he had a moment to process his impending actions. A river of ick began to pour from his raw nose despite his incessant sniffling ,and tears that welled up in his dull eyes threatened to follow suit. Desperately, Remi stuffed the soiled paper towel under his nose and pressed it there firmly to catch any leakage.
When Levi returned to their room and laid eyes on the pathetic creature that was his mate, curled up under a big comforter, crazy bed head, a soggy crumpled up paper towel pressed to his nose that beamed a crimson hue now, dark circles under his half lidded eyes that were puffy and damp with tears, he swore he felt his heart melt within his chest.
“Here baby, here’s more water, and you know the drill with this..” The leopard smiled with his faux optimism, holding the thermometer up and wiggling it back and forth between his fingers.
Remi snuffled wetly against the makeshift tissue with a nod, removing it from under his nose and lowering his hand until it sat in his lap obediently.
“Sorry if I get sdot odn you, I cadt help it. Mby nose wodnt stop rudding.” He warned with a flat tone, and as if to enunciate his point , a single bead of clear snot suddenly threatened to drip down his upper lip.
“Don’t worry, Acushla. You never have to worry about that kind of stuff, okay?” The cat smiled down at his mate before leaning down slightly and kissing the top of his head. When he pulled back, the wolf managed a slow nod in acknowledgment with a preemptive snort, and opened his mouth for Levi, his tongue slightly raised.
With expert dexterity, the leopard tucked the uncapped thermometer under the other’s tongue just as he closed his mouth. Well, almost closed his mouth. He had to breathe still, right?
Sitting on the edge of the bed again while he waited for the thermometer to beep, Levi began carding his fingers through the damp strands of raven colored hair that even for Remi, looked messy. The wolf leaned his head back slightly, a pleasured groan leaving him as the instrument between his lips continued to get a reading, beeping periodically as it climbed higher and higher.
After a few seconds, Levi could feel his mate suddenly stiffen under him, his ragged breathing now slow and more deliberate.
“L-Levi—“ Remington tried, and the cat’s thin fingers stopped slipping through his hair as he leaned forward to hear him better.
“Yes, baby?”
“I hhh-… I h-have to.. sdehhh- Hihh—! ..sdeeze—!“
The leopard’s icy blue eyes flew to the thermometer perched between the other’s chapped lips, sucking his teeth loudly in response.
“Come on Rem, hold it back for a few more seconds so the thermometer can finish.. I know you can hold it off for just a few seconds..” He coaxed, removing one hand from Remi’s hair and placing a single pale finger under the wolf’s quivering nostrils, pressing it firmly against his septum despite the small pool of wetness that already resided there.
Remi gasped as the sensation that burned within his irritated nose seemed to take offense to Levi’s control, and roared quickly back into an overwhelming force that buzzed so intensely that the wolf began to stumble over his own breath snagging in his throat. The canines ragged breathing sounded almost strangled; breathless. “Hhhh—.. Hhhiihh—“
“Good job baby, only a few more seconds..”
The concentration it took to swallow back the inevitable fit was almost too much for the wolf, however just as he was about to break and succumb to his urges, the thermometer beeped loudly to signify it was finished. Quickly in one fluid motion, Levi removed his finger from under his mate’s nose and snatched the instrument from his lips, before drawing it back towards his face to read it.
Suddenly uninhibited now, Remi couldn’t dream of holding back the forceful, desperate fit that exploded from him, and not a moment too soon.
“Hah'ISSchuu! Hh— hiiih’IITTSSSHUU! tch’ISSH! Heh— hiiiihh—ITSCCCHH’ah! Sdddrff, haah—! hdt’ishhhh! Hihh’ISSHh! Hh— ihH’ktdSHhh!!!” The sheer force of the sneezes that tore through him left his usually strong, able body trembling, a shudder rolling through him as he blew his nose again, soaking yet another makeshift tissue before tossing it to the side. His shaky hands already fumbled with the roll of napkins to tear off another sheet, stuffing the dry paper against his sensitive nostrils that were the equivalent of a broken faucet. Finally turning his head to face Levi again, he snuffled against the paper towel and looked up at the other much like a kicked puppy.
“S’Whats the dabage?” Remi asked, his voice not much more than a whisper and muffled by the mulched paper in front of his mouth.
“104.3…” The leopard sighed with concern, managing a glance towards Remi, who simply nodded when hearing the results.
“If you were human we would be at the ER right now so your brain wouldn’t liquify but—“ With a soft chuckle and a loving smile, Levi reached out to gently pat the top of his mate’s head in reassurance. “It’s nothing some medicine and rest won’t clear up.” He smiled genuinely, a small sparkle of optimism reflecting with his blue eyes.
This small gesture from the other meant more to Remi than his mate knew, and a small smirk slowly appeared across his face.
“Does this mbeand you’ll lay id bed with mbe all day, thend?” The wolf asked hoarsely before managing a chuckle that wasn’t choked out by coughs.
Levi couldn’t help but grin, a wave of relief crashing over him as he was captivated by Remi’s smile; albeit small, it was still more of a smile than he’d expressed since he woke up.
“Of course my love, I would LOVE to spend the day in bed with you.” He answered genuinely before placing another chaste kiss against the top of wolf’s head. “But there’s one thing I want you to do first..”
Quickly, Remi’s smirk disappeared, and he looked down at the bed as he dabbed gently at his leaking nose, the appendage threatening to leak past the rough paper towel that was meant to contain it.
“Bmaybe… depends…” Remi huffed with a more annoyed tone to his already shot voice.
Levi giggled softly at his mate’s theatrics, shaking his head. Leave it to Remington to be a stubborn ass even in the throws of severe illness.
“It’s nothing bad!” The leopard cried, causing Remi to recoil from the volume of the cat’s voice, and Levi clasped a hand to his mouth selfconsciously.
“Sorry— it’s not bad.. I just want you to take a nice, cool bath so you can be clean and comfortable and maybe it’ll bring your fever down a bit..” The leopard finished, avoiding making eye contact with the other for a second, but when he was met only by silence, he turned back to glance at his mate with confusion.
“I dod’t kndow if I cand—“ Remi finally replied sheepishly, one of his hands absentmindedly playing with a loose string that hung off of their comforter on front of him. He already felt as if his head were in a fish bowl, and his limbs felt so weak that he didn’t even trust them to support his weight for more than a few steps, much less wash himself.
“Oh, n-no! I meant— You should let me help you take a bath.. I know you don’t like me having to do all of that stuff but it’s my pleasure, Rem! I just want to do what I can to make you feel even a little bit better, and I think you’ll be so much more comfortable if you’re clean, and I put new blankets and sheets on the bed.. Please?” Levi could feel himself word vomiting, but once the flood gates opened, there was no reeling it in.
At first, the wolf opened his mouth to decline the others kind offer, but watching him get so worked up trying to convince him was enough for him in that moment.
“—okay.” Remi finally croaked out, and it took Levi so off guard that he continued to argue his point, not fully processing the word that had come from the others mouth.
“I swear, you’ll get rid of all that crap in your lungs! I have some Vicks bath stuff that I think will help you and you’ll already be in the water so you don’t even need to bring the tiss— err… paper towels!” The leopard continued frantically, waving his arms about as he spoke.
Remi couldn’t hold back the slightly strangled chuckle that rumbled through his throat. “Kittend— Levi, baby.. I said okay..” he reached one of his baseball mitt sized hands out to place it on the cat’s forearm trying to ground him, his flushed skin just radiating heat a few inches from its surface.
“O-oh— okay, well I didn’t expect you to agree!” Levi beamed so wide that he was forced to close his eyes, and if Remi was honest, that was all he ever needed to recover. The cats smile was bright and infectious and the octaves that it caused the wolf’s  heart to sing could be heard no where else in the world. He would spend days lost in the baby blue pools if he could. But he would gladly accept the feline’s kind offer, if it made Levi happy.
“Wait here, I’ll go get everything ready for you, okay?” The smaller male chirped as he pulled the door open, scurrying down the hallway towards their bathroom as the wolf shook his head with a smirk, and a few more ticklish coughs.
It only took a few minutes for Levi to draw the bath, toss a fresh towel and a fresh comfortable outfit for Remi to change to into the drier in the hallway, drop two of the Vicks tablets into the bath water, and light a few small aromatherapy candles that were placed along the side of the bathtub. Lastly, he dimmed the bathroom lights to create an ambiance that wouldn’t be too much for the ailing wolf. Pausing in the doorway for a moment to admire his work, the cat clapped his hands together with pride before dashing back down the hallway into their room.
Even though it had only been a few minutes, Remi was already fast asleep leaned back against the headboard, his mouth hanging open as he breathed loudly.
Levi approached his mate slowly and quietly, and once he was close enough, he reached out to gently muse the wolf’s hair and kiss him on his warm forehead a few times.
“Hey babyyy… your bath is ready~” Levi mewled softly into his ear.
Peeling open his emerald eyes, Remi blinked slowly before looking back at Levi, his determination obviously dwindling. “Are you sure you wadnt to do this? If i’mb this gross ndow, I cad prombise you it’ll be way worse ind a Vicks bath..” the wolf warned, a little embarrassed for his mate to even see him at this level of disgusting.
“Come on, Rem.. we’ve been together too long for me to get grossed out by anything that comes out of you, alright? You’re Safe Here with me. Here, take my hand, I’ll steady you.” The leopard grinned with understanding as one ivory hand was extended towards his mate, which the wolf reluctantly took as he stood up next to the bed, and Levi tossed his mate’s muscular arm over his shoulder to brace him while they shuffled towards the bathroom together.
Once they had crossed the threshold inside the bathroom door, Remi scuttled to the toilet to sit heavily on the closed lid, his head spinning from the short walk to their bathroom. For a moment, he was silenced by overwhelming nausea, having to hold his breath as saliva pooled into his mouth, but once he was able to breathe for a second with his eyes closed, the churning of his stomach finally stopped. He breathed a sigh of relief, which just turned into the same thing all the others had, and he coughed harshly several times into his fist.
“Here, baby, if this is too much for you we can wait until you’re a little better, okay? I don’t want you to pass out..” The leopard asked cautiously as he ran one of his hands up and down the wolf’s back.
“Ndo, ndo, I’mb good..” The larger man sniffed sharply, trying to clear the obstruction from his nasal passages, still to obviously no avail. “Oh, Sorry— you probably deed these off of mbe, huh?” Remi asked in a haze, tugging at the hem of his sweat pant that were still very visibly damp from his sweat.
“Rem— lemme help you, alright?” Levi placed his palm on one of the wolf’s toned biceps to stop his efforts and the canine jumped slightly, startled from the physical contact. It took Remi a second to understand; an expression that resembled that creepy friend of Alistar’s had taken over the raven haired males features, his face completely blank and his eyes almost vacant looking as he stared at the leopard for a second, the wheels in his head turning.
“I’ll help you get undressed, Rem— I don’t want you to hurt yourself..” Levi assured the confused wolf, who finally seemed to understand what was being said to him and released his grip on the fabric of his sweats. He then ever so slowly stood from the top of the toilet, his knees visibly shaking from the effort as he stood there.
Quickly but carefully, Levi peeled the damp sweats off of his mate, and then his underwear as the larger male leaned on the cat’s shoulders for support. All of the wet clothing was tossed onto the bathroom sink one by one until the wolf stood there naked, shivering madly.
“Okay baby, I’ll help you get in, too, okay?” He smiled genuinely as he finally stood to match the wolf’s height and Remi wrapped his arm around his mates neck for stability. Slowly, the smaller male helped the wolf lowered himself into the lukewarm water of the bathtub until the water almost completely enveloped his large body.
At first he didn’t even notice the difference in the Vicks bath water, the thick wall of congestion behind his eyes seemly impenetrable. But after a few moments of relaxing his aching muscles in the warm water all the way up to his chin, the intense scent of eucalyptus and mint that Vicks gave off slowly began to creep into his nose. In an instant, the pressure within his sinuses began to decrease, but the adjustment of the wet cement within his nose reignited the tickle that had laid dormant since his last overwhelming fit.
“Oh— oh god?” Remi asked outwardly, sounding almost panicked as a thick string of snot dripped down his face from one nostril, and the other threatened to do the same. Mortified, the wolf tried to snort back the obstruction while pressing the heel of his palm back against the bridge of his nose, but by this point, the dam had broken and there was nothing that would stop the mess from flowing from his overly sore nose at this point.
And oh god it fucking tickled so badly..
“L-Levi.. cehh— cad I have a tihh— tissue? Toilet p-paper, sombethigg—?” Remi asked frantically, waving one hand at the leopard while he pinched his nostrils closed with the other hand, his dim green eyes squinting through tears.
In a panic, the leopard scanned the bathroom for something he could give to Remi, but the toilet paper dispenser sat in the corner behind the toilet with a sad, empty tube on it. “Sorry babe.. I told you I have to go run some errands when it’s a more appropriate time..” the leopard tried to defend himself, but Remi was preoccupied with keeping his breathing steady, his eyes squeezed shut and thumb and index finger squeezing the raw, pink flesh of his nose.
“you want me to get the paper towels from the room?“
The wolf couldn’t even open his eyes to answer his mate’s question; he was only able to nod frantically, his breath snagging harshly in his throat a few times despite all of his efforts.
Quickly, Levi hopped up from his spot on the side of the bathtub, and dashed down the hallway into their room. His bright blue eyes scanned the messy room trying to locate the roll of paper towels he had given Remi as quickly as he could, but when he finally managed to find them stuffed under one of the wolf’s hundreds of pillows, he was too late.
“Hd’IZTSsHHhh’ih! HEhH’eEZSCHhh’iiEW! HEHH’DZSCHh’iEEw! Hih—hiihhh— hh—“ the last sneeze caught, leaving the raven haired male gasping as the tickle began to back off and climb back into his sinuses, refusing to give him the much needed release. A soft, pitiful whimper could be heard from the bathroom as the wolf scrambled to clean his face of any of the thick ropes of snot that had just embarrassingly exploded from his throbbing face before Levi came back into the room. He swiped his wet forearm against the dripping mess that was his poor nose, and Remi couldn’t help but grimace in disgust at the size of the trail that was left on his skin afterward, quickly using the water around him to rinse it off.
When Levi finally returned to the bathroom again, his expression displayed only empathy as he ripped off a few sheets of the mulched paper and as gently as he could, he cleaned up the wolf’s face before holding the sheets gently over Remi’s bright red nose.
“Blow for me? I promise, I’ll get you those lotion tissues in a few hours to save your poor nose.” The leopard flashed a compassionate smile down at his mate, who although under no normal circumstances would he willingly let the cat help him blow his nose, but his head swam and he was beginning to feel rather lightheaded and delirious from the fever that still burned across his cheeks and forehead brightly, even from underneath his thick black mane of hair. These were not normal circumstances.
Complying without a single snarky comment, Remi forcefully blew his nose into the wad of paper towels in the others hand, completely soaking it in one breath.
“That’s it, Rem—“ Levi mewled his encouragement, gently wiping his mates nose again afterward as to not irritate the red and raw skin with such a rough material.
“Hghnnn..” the wolf shuddered violently as he leaned against the back of the tub.
“Okay, let’s hurry up and get you clean so I can get you back in bed, yeah?” Levi asked with a small giggle, tossing the sodden paper into the trash. Reaching to the side to pull out a blue bottle of shampoo, the cat squirted a small amount of the viscous liquid into his palms and rubbed them together before gently beginning to work the shampoo into his mate’s thick raven colored hair.
The wolf felt as if he was put into a trance. With a soft hum, Remi closed his eyes and let Levi run his long, thin fingers across every inch of his scalp as he lathered up all of the shampoo, nearly willing him to sleep again.
Once the cat was satisfied, he took the shower head off of the wall it usually sat on, and when he reached over his mate to turn the water on, he couldn’t help but steal a glance at the wolf. He breathed a gentle laugh at how content the other looked, admiring the man for a moment before returning to business.
Warm water began to flow gently from the handheld shower head, and Levi made quick work of rinsing all of the soap from the wolf’s hair before hanging it up on the wall again. By this time, Remi was barely conscious, his head resting back against the lip of the bathtub with a half lidded haze clouding over his features. He would help lift his own limbs when he was instructed to so Levi could gently wash his tanned skin, but that was about all of the help he was able to give.
Finally, after what seemed like an entire lifetime, Remi was clean and rinsed off completely. Leaning over his mate again, Levi pulled the cover off of the drain in the bottom of the bathtub and the water began to loudly get sucked away from between the wolf’s feet.
“Okay my love, let’s get you dried off and back in bed, okay? Can you stand up while I go get your towel and change of clothes?” The leopard asked seriously, afraid leaving the wolf alone for 5 seconds would mean certain death for the canine.
Slowly becoming slightly more lucid, Remi managed a slow nod before lifting his arms to the sides of the large tub and using all of his remaining strength to will his body to a standing position while Levi dashed off to pull the warm towel and the comfortable clothes from the drier that he had prepared for the wolf.
When he managed to come back into the bathroom again, he was greeted by a naked Remi who stood shivering aggressively on the tile in front of the tub. “Here baby, this should feel a little better..” Levi tossed one of the towels over Remi’s head as he approached and the canine moaned happily, his shaky hands coming up to grasp the towel and pull it tighter around his torso. Levi had another warm towel that he used to tenderly dry his mates legs, before having him sit on the top of the toilet. The leopard continued to dry the rest of the other’s body very gently until the only thing left wet was his dark, thick hair.
As his mate compassionately took care of him, the wolf continued to become more and more like himself again, and by time Levi was ready to help him get into the clean clothing he was brought, Remi was far more alert and present. Relief washed over the leopard to see the other in seemingly better spirits.
Rising to his feet a little faster than he should have, Remi had to pause for a second and brace himself with one hand against the doorframe. Recovering with a slow shake of his head, the wolf took the pair of socks and clean underwear from his mates hand and proceeded to clumsily pull them onto his lanky body. Once finished, he glanced back at Levi with a bigger smirk than before, almost like he hadn’t just been nearly comatose in the bathtub a few short minutes ago.
“I’ll let you help mbe put these odn though..” the wolf chuckled, stumbling backward a bit and sitting back down on the top of the toilet seat rather roughly.
Levi couldn't help but chuckle softly at Remi's playful remark, his heart swelling with relief and adoration. He understood that the wolf's attempt at humor was a way to mask his vulnerability, to lighten the weight of their situation.
With a soft smile, the smaller man nodded and approached his mate with the sweatpants in one hand, and the tshirt thrown over his shoulder. He kneeled down in front of the wolf, and gently guided Remi's feet into the openings, carefully pulling the fabric up his toned, trembling legs. Each movement was slow and deliberate, ensuring that he didn't cause any discomfort to the weak wolf.
As Levi slid the shirt over Remi’s head, his fingers brushed against Remi's hot, flushed skin, causing a shiver to run up the wolf's spine. Once the shirt was pulled down over the wolf’s head and adjusted around his torso, Levi stepped back to admire his handy work with a grin.
“Perfect!” Levi squealed, to which Remi couldn’t help but blush.
Finally reaching for the hairdryer and turning it on, its familiar whir filling the room as he positioned himself behind Remi. The wolf's damp hair cascaded down his neck in disarray, strands clinging stubbornly to his flushed skin. Levi combed through the small tangles with his fingers before using the hairdryer to blow warm air through the thick raven colored strands, drying each section of Remi's hair with delicate patience as the wolf sat more still than the leopard had ever seen him.
Finally, after what felt like hours, Levi finished drying Remi's hair and set the hairdryer aside. With a gentle hand, he turned Remi's face to the side and pressed a tender kiss to his fevered cheek. The wolf let out a soft sigh, feeling the warmth of his mate's lips against his skin. It was moments like these that made him feel truly loved and cared for, reminding him how lucky he was to have the leopard in his life; let alone being actually LOVED by such a compassionate, outstanding man, when Remi was so… well, Remi.
“Alright, let’s get you to bed,” Levi said softly, helping Remi off the toilet seat and leading him over to their bed. As they walked slowly through the hall, Remi stumbled slightly, his weakened body still struggling to find its balance. But with Levi's supportive arm around him, he managed to make it over to their bed without falling.
As they approached the bed, Levi noticed that the sheets were still damp from where Remi had been lying earlier. He knew he had to change them before they could snuggle up together.
“Shit, hold on babe. Lemme change these first, okay?” the leopard asked, to which the wolf nodded slowly as he rubbed at his nose with a soft clicking noise and sniffled . With a sense of urgency, he quickly pulls off the old linens in a flurry, balling up the fabric and tossing it in the laundry hamper in the corner. The leopard then rifles through the closet, selecting a fresh set of sheets in a cool grey hue that he knows Remi loves. As he makes the bed, Levi smooths out every wrinkle and tucks the edges in neatly, wanting to create a comfortable haven for his recovering mate.
With the bed ready, Levi helps Remi over and eases him down onto the mattress.
With a contented sigh, the wolf sunk into the pillows and closed his eyes in pure bliss. He couldn't help a small smile to tug at the corners of his mouth at how considerate Levi was being, taking care of him even in this small way. He honestly didn’t deserve the leopard by his side.
Climbing into bed next to his mate, Levi and pulled the covers up over their bodies. He wrapped a freckled arm around Remi's waist and pulled him close until their bodies were pressed together tightly.
For the first time, Remi buried his face into the crook of the smaller man’s armpit, his lanky frame awkwardly tangling into his mates.
“Thanks.. for everything.,” Remi murmured against Levi's chest, avoiding eye contact with the other as he fidgeted with a button on the leopard’s shirt.
Levi sighed softly with a small smile and shook his head. “It’s my pleasure, Acushla. I’d move mountains for you… So making you feel a little better when you’re sick is the least I can do, alright? I fucking love you, Remington Connors— in ways I don’t think you’ll ever understand.” The leopard stated matter of factly, like it was already something well known to everyone except Remington, before kissing his mate’s warm forehead passionately. His lips lingered against the wolf’s flesh for a few moments before finally pulling back to flash a genuine smile.
Nuzzling into the warmth and comfort of the leopard's embrace, Remi returned his mate’s smile before snuffling softly against his wrist. “I fucking love you too, Levi Anderson.” Remi attempted to reply with determination, although he was very clearly fighting his heavy eyelids from closing.
“Get some rest baby.. don’t worry, you’re safe here with me.” The leopard whispered quietly against the other’s temple. Content in each other’s arms, they both fell asleep, their breathing synchronized as they lay intertwined with one another.

Shouta Aizawa x reader Sick/hurt comfort!
Requests are open!
Tumblr media
You were a teacher at UA high and we're introverted, most of the time but once you got to know someone you were actually pretty talkative! It was a student holiday and a teacher work day so, when you didn't show up for work one day naturally your boyfriend was worried. He checked to make sure you hadn't requested leave for the day before leaving for your apartment.
You groan at the sudden knocking at your door sliding off your bed, onto the floor trying to find the strength to get up.
After a few minutes of knocking Aizawa decides to use his spare "emergency" key and walks in only to see you laying on the floor curled in a ball.
"What has my little love bug in a bunch?" He says his voice is slightly softer than usual. As he goes to pick you up from off the floor he feels the rather unhealthy amount of heat coming from your body. You groan once more at the light coming from the still open door. "Door. Light, too bright" you murmer curling into yourself more. He gets up and closes the door making his way back to you kneeling down on the floor. "You know, I told you you'd get sick if you kept overworking yourself." He places a hand on your head, he feels you lean into his touch "sorry, I just - " you were cut off by the feeling of Shouta lifting you bridal style and the movement "No need to apologize, I just wish you'd.. take care of yourself more." He says softly placing you on the bed "What's done is done now let me take care of you" He places you down placing a kiss on your forehead ”Thank you Shouta" You say almost a whisper but when you turn around to find where he had gone, he's behind you holding a glass of water and a small cup with a clear ish liquid "Noooo I don't wanna" You whine refusing the cup and turning away. "Maybe if you just cuddle me I'll feel better" you say pausing to sniffle every other word "I highly doubt that and as UA's certified med trainer I'd assume you would know that love" You whine once again this time clinging onto his waist "Just hold me and I'll be okay Sho-" you are cut off by a whole 4 sneezes in a row before looking up to see Shouta's amused grin and reluctantly taking the medicine "fine you win" you say a pout on your face "good, as long as you take it all I'll cuddle and care for you all day" The day continues with Shouta making you food, and making you take medicine every 4 hours and you laying on his lap watching movies as he runs his hands through your hair.
The next day you wake up feeling a lot better than the day before, as the memories of yesterday come flooding back. You look up to see a peaceful sleeping Shouta. As you get up to you feel Shouta's hands hold onto yours gently pulling you back down "You are not going anywhere today my dear." Still too weak to fight it you lay back down snuggling into his body you feel his hands running through your hair once again relaxing you, "Thanks for taking care of me.." you mumble your head tucked into his chest slowly drifting to sleep to the rhythm of Shouta's heartbeat

Sick Ken headcanons | Ken x reader
Tumblr media
Had this cute thought of Ken coming to the real world with you and choosing to be a human and how he would react to getting sick for the first time
✮ Soon after coming to the real world to live with you, Ken gets sick.
✮ You told him that if he kept swearing on not wearing a shirt when going out in the rain (he absolutely loves feeling real rain) that he’d soon get sick.
✮ He really regrets not listening.
✮ “Ken you don’t look so hot” you’d said that morning.
✮ Sometime after you got to work, Ken called you, his voice raspy and off, and you instantly knew what was up.
✮ You apologized to your boss before taking leave. You wouldn't leave every time he got sick, but this being his first time, you knew he was probably miserable and confused.
✮ His eyes were puffy and red, his cheeks flushed and his forehead radiated heat.
✮ "Ken, sweetie you're burning up," You say softly, your hand laid against his forehead.
✮ He just looked up at you with those damn puppy eyes, confusion sparking in them as you spoke.
✮ "Why do I feel like I got run over by a hundred horses?" He grumbles.
✮ "Don't worry" You say when you notice the concern in his eyes.
✮ He has the sniffles and you have to dig through your closet for a box of tissues.
✮ You make him soup and when you come back into your room, you find Ken snuggling with one of your plushies, eyes all sad and his lip pouty.
✮ For being sick, he looked absolutely adorable, and cold, he looks cold too.
✮ "Here" You hand him the soup and grab a blanket from the closet.
✮ If he's not feeling well enough to hold it himself, you spoon-feed him little bites after blowing lightly. You didn't want his mouth to get burnt.
✮ When you try leaving the room, Ken groans and tugs at your shirt.
✮ "Don't go" He whines, dramatically reaching a shaky hand out toward you. "What if I get cold again?"
✮ "That's what your blanket is for Ken, dear" You chuckle.
✮ He is 100% a big baby. He wants you by his side, and if you think Ken is clingy already, prepare for that to be amped up ten times more.
✮ If he is getting sick, and unable to keep his food down, you rub his back and sit with him in the bathroom, assuring him that you aren't bothered by this at all.
✮ He feels bad that you have to waste your time on him all day. He knows that you should be at work.
✮ "Any time spent with you, even if you're sick, is time well spent," You tell him.
✮ He does not handle stomach aches well, curling up in a fetal position and sobbing is his idea of 'handling' them.
✮ He hugs himself, self-soothing at its finest.
✮ If the pain is too much, you give him medicine and melatonin. This works fast as he's never had to take medication or sleep aid before. He is OUT.
✮ He sleeps through the whole night, and when you wake up, he's snuggled into your side, sleepy, puffy eyes shut softly.
Okay stop this was the cutest thing ever.... I want to write more sick Ken fics...

When You’re Sick - Kirishima Eijirou
Tumblr media
A/N: The wheel chose Kirishima with the prompt theme illness! To be honest, I wasn’t really feeling it so I just decided to make this one super short. Also because I worked on Statistics for 9 straight hours (cause procrastination) and I’m just tired.
Warning/s: mention of vomit
Prompt/s Used: I made you some soup / Were you able to keep that down?
Kirishima would notice you’re sick before you even know you’re ill
He can see it in the way your eyes droop and by how quickly you get tired
But that’s only if you’re catching a cold or your allergies are acting up
It’s when you catch the stomach bug that Kirishima feels totally and utterly helpless
You don’t show up to class without saying anything to anyone, causing Kirishima being the first one to be back at the dorms once classes have ended
He barges into your room just in time to watch you heave up last night’s dinner into your trash bin
He’ll hold your hair for you if it’s long enough, and runs his other hand down your back
When you’re finished he’ll clean out your bin, setting it beside your bed when he’s done
He’ll also bring you back a glass of water, medicine, and soup
“I made you some soup… ok that’s a bit of a lie. Bakugou made it for me.”
He’ll sit behind you with you between his legs, supporting your back while you slowly sip away at the soup
He’ll take this time to pull your hair into a ponytail if it’s long enough, and to rub your shoulders as a way to relax you.
He’d leave you alone if you fall back asleep, but come back to check up on you a few hours later
“Were you able to keep that down?” he’d ask, pointing to your empty soup bowl
This man will even sleep on your floor during the night while you’re sick, just in case you needed him or you got worse during the night
Idk i just feel like Kirishima would be really gentle and caring towards you when you’re sick

。ₓ Sick as a… Bunny? ₓ。

"Binnie?" You call out as your hand turns the door knob and you enter the dark room.
Only about a half an hour ago you received a text, but it wasn't from Soobin, you hadn't heard from him all day. It was from Beomgyu, who proceeded to inform you about Soobin's current condition.
Hyung has been hung up in his room all day
Apparently he woke with a bad fever, but also every other condition of a cold
He's been begging for us to not tell you, he said he doesn't want you to worry, but he hasn't eaten
Sorry for bothering you, I just can't help but worry about him
It felt like your heart dropped into your stomach when you skimmed over the text. You thought Soobin was just busy all day either learning new choreography or recording new lines for another song.
However you couldn't have been more wrong and you couldn't help but feel a bit guilty.
You quickly threw on your shoes and jacket in less than a minute then rushed out the door. Your job as his significant other was to take care of him, not to let him suffer on his own.
I'm on my way now
Now here you are, in his dorm room doorway. The room felt cold, a fan pointed in the direction of the bed, curtains were closed, and lights were on the lowest setting possible but not entirely turned off.
"y/n?" Soobin mumbled as he maneuvered around in his bed to face you.
You made you way over his side, kneeling next to the edge of the bed.
"Why didn't you tell me you were sick baby?" You asked while you put your hand on his forehead.
He felt like he was burning up a lot.
"I- I'm sorry." He apologized, stumbling on his words.
"No it's okay, I just want to know. You had me worried when Beomgyu texted." Your heart melted, and his apologetic nature, but he did nothing bad.
Your hand now rested on his cheek, to which he leaned into, needing nothing more than your touch right now to feel better.
"That's exactly why I didn't want to tell you, I didn't want to bother you with a little cold." He whined a bit before he turned away from you to cough.
His words pulled on your heart strings and your hands instinctively reached out for one of his own. Lacing your fingers together, you brought his big hand hand to your lips to leave a soft kiss on his knuckles.
"Binnie, please don't ever think you could be a bother to me. I care about you too much to ever leave you feeling terrible on your own." You paused and brushed the loose strands of hair, that were slightly sticking to his sweaty forehead, out of his face. "I love you so much bunny, I want you to tell me everything that you can."
His eyes became glossy, he wanted to blame the slight tears on the fact his body was in pain, but he knew deep down it was all because of you. You made him feel like he never had before. Nobody has ever loved him as much as you do, besides, his members, but that's different, and he is forever grateful.
"I love you so much too... I don't know what I was thinking." He replied with a small frown of regret.
He brought the hand you were holding close to his chest and placed it close to his heart. His heartbeat didn't feel too fast, but it didn't feel normal either, you knew you needed to calm him down to rest.
"Do you need me to get you anything, love?" You asked quietly before you placed a kiss to his hot forehead. "Did the boys already give you some medicine?"
He nodded to your second question before answering the first, "Can you please just hold me? Everything hurts."
You swear your heart almost skipped a beat as you stared into his adorable brown eyes. They looked almost sad, but relieved now that you were finally here.
"Of course baby boy." You cooed before climbing into the bed behind him.
It was warm under the covers which felt nice with the cold air surrounding you, a perfect temperature for Soobin and for cuddles.
Settling under the covers, you reached your arms around his neck to hug him close to your chest. Your head plated atop his head while he snuggled into you more, finally getting comfortable.
Soobin let out an audible sigh before closing his eyes and wrapping his own arms around your waist. Legs eventually tangling together. He's tried to rest all day but he couldn't seem to be at ease without you right next to him.
"Thank you... you always know how to make me feel better." He mumbled into your chest.
"I'm always here for you my love. Please get some rest so you can feel better. I'll take you out wherever you want tomorrow if your up to it." You offered quietly before shutting your own eyes.
That night Soobin dreamt of you and your warm smile making his heart whole, finally feeling his body at ease with you here again.

Medicine time
TW: nothing, I think? I mean just some talk about being sick but nothing actually happens (like throwing up)
Also I know Trelawney (probably) wasn't a teacher back in their days, but it was just easier for me to write that way.
Word count: 5 000
The little signs of the upcoming full moon had started slowly that day. When he first woke up, the morning sun coming through the window was just a tad bit too much, and his back had ached a bit more than normally in the mornings. The different smells didn't start to annoy him until lunch, and the potions lesson after that was horrible. He tried to ignore it the best he could, but when the barely noticeable headache he had had since transfigurations had turned into a pounding one by the fifth, he couldn't ignore it anymore.
He was glad that it was Friday, meaning he could just stay in bed in the dark until Monday once he was done with lessons. But the fact that it was this bad on a Friday when the moon wasn't full until Monday, told him something he didn't really want to know.
The last lesson was divination, climbing the many steps made him feel dizzy, so much so that he had to steady himself against the stone wall before climbing the ladder up to the classroom after James. Sirius followed behind him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder when the smells of different herbs and perfumes off the classroom hit him.
“Alright?” He asked, looking worriedly at Remus, who nodded slightly, giving him a small smile after a minute. Sirius nodded, grabbing Remus' hand and pulling him further into the classroom, looking for the table James and Peter had picked; it was in the back of the class, in the darkest corner. They were pretty much sure that Trelawney didn't even see that far. Well, at least they hadn't been told off for sleeping in class in that corner, or not participating in whatever nonsense she was teaching.
Remus took a seat in one of the armchairs, throwing off the burgundy see—through scarf that had probably been forgotten there. The scarf smelled so much like perfume that it made James cough when it was thrown his way.
Sirius rested their hands on the armrest of the chair as he dug out his divination book, just for good measure if Trelawney happened to walk by their table. Remus dug out his books too, along with his notes and quill, but just set them down on his lap, not bothering to even look like he was doing something.
For once, he was glad of the dim lighting of the classroom, usually it bothered him as he couldn't see what he was writing or reading, but today it didn't. It would be perfect, but the scent of the herbs made him want to throw up and her high misty voice sounded more annoying than normally.
Remus could feel Sirius' thumb slowly rubbing small circles on his wrist, he appreciated it, it gave him something else to think about. Even though all the scents annoyed his heightened senses and irritated his nose, it still made him quite tired and after a while he couldn't help but close his eyes, resting his head on his arms on the armrest. Before he actually fell asleep, he could feel Sirius start to play with his hair, it felt nice, and comforting.
Remus never slept in class, never. No matter how tired or sick he was, he'd never fall asleep in class. But there he was now, dead asleep, a few minutes after resting his head down. Sirius looked at his boyfriend, feeling so bad for what he had to go through and just for him. Even though he was sleeping, Sirius continued to play with his hair, barely listening to what the professor was teaching them about palmistry.
When the class had finally dragged to the end, Sirius gently shook Remus awake, who groaned, even though sleeping had helped just slightly. “C'mon moons get up, let's go to our dorm.” Sirius whispered, and Remus opened his eyes, looking around confused before he realized where he was. He blinked a few times before getting up, letting Sirius grab his hand again and lead him out of the class.
They walked slowly towards the Gryffindor tower, seeing Lily coming down the corridor after a while going in the direction of the library, but she stopped in front of the pair. “Where are you going?” She asked.
Sirius looked at Remus, who was looking at Lily, trying to think for a minute of what to say “To our dorm.” He said simply, adjusting the bag better over his shoulder.
“You promised to come study with me after lessons.” Lily reminded. “Is everything alright?” She asked, sounding slightly concerned as she looked at Remus.
The thing was, she didn't know of his \little problem. Remus coughed to get rid of the sudden dryness in his throat. “Mm yeah, I'm alright. Just forgot.” He smiled, trying to look as alive as he possibly could. “You go. I'll come in a bit.” Lily nodded, walking past them and continuing towards the library. Remus turned to look at Sirius, who looked worried.
“You could've just told her you're sick. Because moony, you need to be in bed.  Not studying.” He said, and Remus nodded, knowing Sirius was right. But he had already promised, so he couldn't tell her now that he couldn't.
“I'll be fine. It's only for a few hours.” Remus said quietly, and Sirius nodded, even though he didn't quite believe what he said. “See you at dinner?” He asked.
“Of course.” Sirius smiled, reaching up onto his tiptoes to give Sirius a kiss before walking off. Remus smiled slightly before turning around to walk to the library after lily. He found her at their usual table in the far back corner, it was quiet and other students rarely came there, and Remus really appreciated that right now.
He pulled out his transfiguration book and a quill, he had to write an essay, it wasn't due until next Friday, but he didn't remember any of the other homework they had been given. So he started to scribble something on the paper, something he knew he'd throw away later.
“Remus?” Lily whispered after a while, he looked up, humming slightly. “Are you sure you're alright? You look a bit, eh, peaky.”
“Just didn't sleep well, I'm alright.” He attempted to give her a smile, but he wasn't sure if he succeeded at that or not, probably not.
“You're shaking and haven't written anything down in five minutes, just been staring off to space.” Lily said, sounding actually concerned of him, and Remus felt bad for doing that. “Are you getting sick?”
“I feel okay, Lils.” He lied. “Don't worry.”
“You'd tell me if something was really wrong, right?”
“Of course.” Remus smiled, continuing to write his essay. He felt bad for lying to her, he always did when he had to lie to someone. But he couldn't possibly tell her. He wasn't sure if she'd understand, she probably would, but he didn't want to take that risk or make her think differently of him. So, he was sticking with the lie, even though he didn't like it.
Lily didn't ask more questions about his well-being after that, which was good, she just continued doing her homework. He sighed of relief when the two hours had finally passed, and they could stop and go to the great hall. He didn't want to go there though, it was so loud there, and he definitely didn't want to eat. But he had promised Sirius, so he made his way there, and sat down next to him.
He dropped his bag onto the floor, and rested his head on his arms on the table. He just wanted to sleep, and be somewhere quiet. “Rem?” Remus turned his head to the side to look at Sirius, he looked even more worried than before. “Wanna eat something?” He shook his head, burying it back into his arms.
Sirius quickly ate his dinner, before shaking Remus' shoulder to get him up. “Let's go.” He said, and Remus just nodded, taking Sirius' hand, who took his bag before starting to lead him up to their dorm. He just trailed behind Sirius as they made their way up to their dorm.
He didn't even really notice where they were until Sirius whispered the password to the portrait, and it swung open. He sat down on his bed once they were in their dorm, he just wanted to fall into it, and pull the covers over him and never get up.
Sirius set their bags down and went to dig out some more comfortable clothes for Remus because their school uniforms definitely weren't. He found Remus favorite jumper, it was a warm dark blue one with some kind of pattern going along it, then just found a pair of joggers. He gave them to Remus who had been watching him. "I'll be right back." Sirius whispered, kissing his forehead, before disappearing to the bathroom.
He came back after a while he had a towel and a bucket with him, then he went to switch the lights off before he came back over to the bed Remus was in. He set the bucket down on the floor, and the towel on the bedside table before sitting down on the bed, with his back against the headboard.
"C'mere, moons." He said, moving so he was on the other side of the bed. "Head on my lap, I'll give you a little massage." Remus nodded, laying down on the bed with his head on sirius' lap, it felt good to lay down after today. "Wanna tell me what's bothering you?"
"Everything." He mumbled. "head the most." Sirius nodded to himself, starting to thread his fingers through remus' hair, scratching his scalp at the same time.
"I have something I think might help you. With the headache." Sirius said, after a while, Remus hummed to show that he was listening. Sirius nodded, reaching for the towel from the bedside table. He had run it under cold water and then put a spell on it to keep it cold. "It's a bit cold." He warned before pressing it against Remus' neck.
Remus jumped at the coldness, before relaxing, it felt nice. "Close your eyes, love." Sirius whispered, going back to playing with his hair, Remus nodded, making himself more comfortable there. "Do you want to sleep?"
" 's too early." He mumbled.
"Mm, maybe a bit. How did studying with Lily go?"
"Didn't get anything done." He yawned, cracking his eyes open to find sirius' other hand and take it into his, he closed them once his fingers were intertwined with his. "She kept askin' if I'm alright."
"Well you don't exactly look alright, my lovely moons." If Remus would've had any strength left in him to smack sirius' arm, he would've had, so he just weakly tapped his forearm before taking his hand back into his own.
"Hey. Not true."
Sirius chuckled. "No of course it's not true because it is everyday that you look like you've just woken from the dead."
"Stop bullying me." Remus mumbled, hiding his face, but Sirius could see a small smile on his lips. He turned to look at Sirius after a while. "You're not allowed to make fun of me when I'm not feeling well."
"Am I not?" Remus shook his head, resting his head back down. "What if I still do?"
"You won't get my chocolate."
Sirius gasped. "Oh no, I better stop then." He chuckled and Remus hummed.
"You better."
"Do you have any chocolate?" Sirius asked, and Remus nodded. "where?"
"I'm not telling you."
"Why not?"
"You're gonna eat them all."
"I'd never do such a thing." Remus laughed quietly. "I'm being serious moony, I know better than to steal your chocolate. You'd murder me."
He shook his head. "I love you too much to murder, only torture a bit."
"Oh, how nice of you." He chuckled, going back to brushing his hand through remus' hair. "Well I can only hope that my non murderous boyfriend will learn to share at some point."
Remus hummed again, and a silence fell over them after that. Sirius was honestly surprised that Remus was this chatty because usually when the full moon was approaching he was really quiet, rarely saying anything. Maybe he was just overly tired, that tended to make him chatty. But he didn't mind. It was quiet for a while and Sirius was pretty sure Remus had fallen asleep.
"I feel bad for lying to her." He whispered quietly.
"To Lily?" He nodded. "have you- have you thought of telling her about our furry little friend?"
"Mhm." He mumbled. "I don't want her to think differently about me because of it."
"She wouldn't." Sirius said, trying to think of a proper answer, something that would comfort him at least a little. "You know, she'd probably understand. Because well, it's lily." Remus shook his head. "She'd find every book in the library that even has the slight mention of the word werewolf. Then she'd read them all so she could understand it all better, and then you'd get sick of her asking if you're okay."
"Do you really think that?" Remus asked, lifting his head to look at Sirius. He nodded, tucking a dirty blond curl behind his ear, it only barely stayed there, but it did.
"I don't only think that, I know that." Sirius said, in the most matter of fact tone he could find, and Remus smiled tiredly, about to say something when the lights suddenly flicked on. He ducked his head down, shielding his eyes from the bright light, Sirius ran a hand through his hair, sending a death stare to James who had just came into their dorm, followed by Peter. "Turn the lights off, idiot." He said, and James looked back at him with wide eyes, glancing at Remus before switching the lights off.
Sirius reached to draw the curtains close around the bed, to try to make it even more dark. "Come up here, I want proper cuddles." Remus slowly crawled over to Sirius, resting his aching head on his chest, throwing one of his legs over Sirius', half laying on top of him, but Sirius just smiled. He pulled the blanket over both of them, before wrapping his arms around Remus.
He let out a happy sounding noise, rubbing his nose against Sirius' collarbone for a minute, if it was any other evening Sirius would have laughed at his antics, but tonight he didn't, he just smiled to himself, thinking the boy looked really cute like that.
Remus' breathing started to even out after a minute of being there, Sirius closed his eyes, adjusting his head on the pillow. He decided to wait until Remus would fall asleep before letting himself drift off. "I love you, moons, sleep well."
"Mm, love you too." He mumbled already more asleep than awake. Sirius could feel the head resting on his chest grow heavier as he was pulled more into sleep. "We never sleep like this." He slurred after a while, clearly trying to fight off sleep.
That was true, it was usually the other way around, Remus liked sleeping on his back more, that way it didn't hurt that much in the morning, and Sirius liked to sleep curled up around his boyfriend, his head resting on his chest.
"We don't, but you need it now. I don't mind, rem." He whispered, running his hand through remus' hair. "Shush now, let's sleep." Remus nodded, it didn't take long for him to fall asleep after the day he had had, and Sirius wasn't that far behind him.
– –
Saturday was even worse. He felt weak and nauseous and just overall bad. He hadn't slept well, he kept waking up to sudden shooting pains in his head, and to the smallest noises.
He pulled the covers more over him and turned to his side once he heard the door open. It was already afternoon, but he had been sleeping most of the day off. Then he heard something being set down onto the nightstand and someone sit down next to him on the bed.
When the covers were pulled back, he slowly opened his eyes, only to see Sirius smiling at him. “Morning, sleeping beauty.” He hid his head on the pillow at that, trying to swat away the hand that came to brush his hair away. “Hey, no hiding, Re. You need to eat something.”
“Absolutely not.” He mumbled, looking back at Sirius.
“C'mon you need to eat, even if you don't want to. You haven't eaten since lunch. Yesterday.”
“It's gonna come right back up.” He argued, but Sirius shook his head. “Sirius, please no.”
“You start feeling more sick because you haven't eaten. Besides, I only got you some toast with butter and water.” Remus nodded, slowly sitting up and accepting the plate and water bottle Sirius gave him.
He ate slowly, not wanting to be sick or feel even worse. He ate the two lightly buttered slices of toast, and took a few sips of the water before setting the things back down onto the nightstand.
“How are you feeling?” He asked, once Remus stopped eating, and leaned against the headboard.
“Fucking horrible.” Remus said, glancing at Sirius, who frowned slightly.
“I could go ask Poppy if she'd have something to help you?” He suggested, but Remus shook his head. “Okay moony, but if you get any worse, I'm going.”
“Okay.”
“Something you want, need?” He asked then, but Remus didn't answer. “I can give you some cuddles, or I can read to you, or I can go away if you'd like.”
“Stay?” He asked, looking back at Sirius, who nodded, moving to sit down next to him. Remus leaned his head on Sirius' shoulder, closing his eyes.
“Want me to do something?” Remus shook his head, getting closer to him when Sirius shifted, so he was sitting against the headboard better. “Lay down, love. You'd be much more comfortable.” Remus did what he was told, shifting, so he was laying down, cuddling close to Sirius.
He hid his face partly into Sirius' stomach, who started to play with his hair, and took one of Remus' hands into his. “You've been smoking.” Remus mumbled after a minute, rubbing his nose against Sirius' jumper to get rid of an itch.
“Is it irritating? I can take the jumper off, if that helps.” Remus shook his head, for some reason that smell wasn't too much, it was something so familiar and just safe that he didn't mind it.
He closed his eyes again, feeling like he could fall asleep once more, even though he had already slept for most of the day. He listened to the slow and quiet humming, making him fall asleep almost immediately, the hand in his hair only helping.
Sirius was really worried about him, Remus hadn't been this bad before a full moon in almost a year. Usually, it was only the day before, not a few days like this. It was horrible and heartbreaking to watch his boyfriend be in so much pain, but at the same time, he was glad that he could make it at least a bit better.
He didn't mind that he had to be there to take care of him and just sit there to be used as a pillow. He didn't mind because he knew Remus would do the same thing for him, and he couldn't just possibly be away when Remus was feeling so horrible.
Even though he had fallen asleep, Sirius kept playing with his hair, just watching over him to make sure he was alright. He seemed peaceful while he slept, although the pained look on his face didn't go away even when he was sleeping.
He pulled the blanket over them when he noticed Remus shiver a few times, cuddling closer to him. He woke up after about an hour of sleeping, hiding his face in Sirius' stomach as he was pulled out of sleep.
“ 'm cold.” He whispered, and Sirius pulled the blanket better over them, tucking it tighter around him, before moving his hand up to Remus' forehead.
“You feel a bit warm, love.” He said, worried. Remus didn't get fevers often when he was like this, but he sometimes did and when he got them it was usually terrible. “Are you really feeling cold?”
“So fucking cold.”
“Okay, how about I get you another jumper? And maybe a blanket?” Remus nodded against him, and with that, Sirius got up from underneath him. He grabbed another jumper for Remus and his own blanket from his bed, before walking back over. “Sit up?” Remus slowly sat up, looking up at him, blinking a few times before pulling the jumper he was given over his head.
“Can I go get Poppy?” Sirius asked, biting his lip as he looked at the state Remus was in, but he shook his head, closing his eyes as the movement caused him pain. “Please Rem, I'm starting to get scared.”
Remus looked up at him, seeming to understand that panicked tone in Sirius' voice, even though his head was working really slowly. Sirius felt relieved when Remus nodded.
“Wanna lay back down?” He asked, and Remus nodded again. He helped him lie down, tucking both of the blankets around him. “I'll be right back, yeah?”
“Okay.” He mumbled, already falling back to sleep, as he got more comfortable under the blankets. Sirius nodded to himself before leaving their dorm. He pulled the covers better over him when Sirius left, mostly hidden under the covers now, but he still felt so cold.
His slumber was disturbed once again when the door of their dorm opened and two sets of footsteps walked over to the bed. Then he felt a hand come up to his forehead, he opened his eyes, seeing poppy standing next to the bed. She gave him a sympathetic little smile, as she pulled her hand back.
“You feel a bit warm, Remus.” She said, and he nodded a little. “Could you sit up, so I can check you over?” He nodded again, slowly sitting up on the bed, leaning his back against the headboard. “Can you tell me how you're feeling?”
“Everything hurts, but mostly my head.” He explained slowly, glancing between madam pomfrey and Sirius, who was sitting down at the foot of the bed, looking distressed. “It's really cold.”
“Okay, Mr. Black told me that this started yesterday? And I assume it's only been getting worse since that, no?” He nodded. “I'm quickly going to take your temperature and then give you some medicine that'll hopefully help.”
“Okay.”
She took his temperature, it was a bit high but not too bad. “This one,” she said, showing a small bottle to both Sirius and Remus. “Helps with your fever, and take this before you go to bed for the night.” She explained more to Sirius, though kept looking at Remus. “Then this other one should help with your headache and other symptoms, more or less.”
She gave a dose of both of the medicines to Remus, before handing the two bottles to Sirius, who nodded. “Is there something else I can do?” Sirius asked, biting his lip as he looked at his boyfriend. He looked absolutely miserable there.
“A lot of sleep and rest, there's really nothing else we can do, but if it does get worse during the night, please come to me in the morning.” Sirius nodded again before she left.
“Alright, moons, time to have some more rest.” He smiled, getting up and setting the two bottles on the nightstand before getting in next to Remus, slowly shifting, so they were laying down, and he could cuddle up to him.
He pulled the blankets over them, kissing Remus' head once he got settled down on his chest. “I love you, moony.” He whispered after a moment, hearing Remus mumble something similar in response.
Sirius fell asleep too with Remus, it wasn't that late yet, but he was tired too. When he woke up about an hour later, Remus was already awake, watching James and Peter playing chess in the dark.
“Feeling any better?” Sirius asked, yawning quietly as he looked around.
“A bit.”
"That's good, love. Still cold?" Remus nodded, hiding his face more into the jumper that was pulled up to his nose. "What time is it?" He asked, still feeling a bit out from just waking up
"Little over ten." James said, looking away from their chess game for a second, he was losing. He only had a few pieces left in the game while Peter was about two moves away from winning.
Sirius nodded, brushing his hand through Remus' hair again as he watched the two play. "Let me win for once." James groaned, flopping down onto the floor as he lost. Remus winced slightly at the somewhat loud noise. Sirius held his hand over his ear, trying to block the noise out as Peter and James started to put away their chess pieces.
After they got up from the floor, going to get ready for bed, Sirius closed the curtains around their bed. "Thank you." Remus whispered, looking at Sirius who smiled, leaning to kiss his forehead.
"Don't need to thank me, love." He said, but Remus shook his head. "I'm just glad you're feeling even a bit better now."
"My head is not that- foggy anymore." He said, trying to think for a better word.
"That's good. I was really worried about you earlier." Remus just nodded, not sure what he should say. "Hasn't been this bad in a long time has it?"
Remus shook his head. "Sorry for worrying you." He whispered, resting his head back down onto sirius' chest. "And for making you scared."
"It's okay, don't be sorry, rem." He whispered softly, rubbing his back. "It's going to be over soon, yeah?" Remus nodded, sitting up so he could pull off the other jumper he was wearing, bit quickly getting back under the blankets, and close to Sirius. This time, laying his head on the same pillow so he could look at Sirius.
"I'm really scared, Siri." Remus whispered after a while when he heard the quiet noises around the stop as both James and Peter climbed into their beds.
"What are you scared of?" He asked, brushing a stray strand of hair behind his ear, watching as tears slowly started to well up in his eyes. He saw Remus glance towards the window, even though he couldn't see out of it right now due to the curtains. "Of the moon?"
He nodded, trying his best to blink the tears away. "It's bad." He whispered, slightly leaning into the touch as Sirius cupped his cheek, gently brushing his thumb over his cheekbone. That only made him want to cry more, unable to hold all the emotions in anymore. "I don't want to, Sirius. I don't -"
"I know, love." He said simply, wiping away the tear that fell down from the corner of his eye. "C'mere, love." Sirius whispered, pulling Remus close to him, and the boy hid his face into sirius' chest, tears slowly started to fall down.
"It's going to be alright, rem." He said, holding him close. He wasn't sure what he could actually say or do to make it better somehow, because there wasn't really anything to make it better. If he could he'd take all of it away from Remus, but unfortunately he couldn't do that.
Remus shook his head, letting out a few quiet sobs. "Shh, don't cry, it's okay, I promise, love. I know it doesn't feel like it now, but it's gonna be alright." He whispered into remus' hair, rubbing his back at the same time. "But remember you don't have to be alone, I'll be there yeah? And so is Jamey and Peter, right? We're all gonna be there, right with you."
He nodded slightly. "Y-you gonna stay? When it's o-over?"
"Of course I'll stay with you." He said, kissing his head. "You don't have to be alone with this, never ever." He nodded again.
They were quiet for a while, Remus slowly calming down, the tears slowly drying out and the quiet sobs turning to small sniffles. He only hid his face more into sirius' chest as the headache got worse from his tears.
"Aw, that's no good." He whispered, reaching up to gently massage his temples, to try to ease the headache at least a bit. "Want another cold towel? Did that help yesterday?" Remus nodded, frowning a bit as Sirius got up from the bed. But he came back soon, sitting down onto the bed and grabbing the two bottles from the nightstand. "Medicine time."
Remus sat up, taking the bottles and taking both of them before, laying back down. Watching as Sirius pulled of his jumper before getting back under the covers, pulling Remus close to him again.
He rested his head on Sirius' chest, jumping slightly as the cold towel was pressed against his neck, but closed his eyes after a minute. He listened to sirius' calm breathing and calm heartbeat.
"Sirius?" Remus whispered after a while, lifting his head slightly so he could look at him, he hummed, opening his eyes to look at Remus. "Thank you." Sirius was about to open his mouth to protest, but Remus interrupted him before he could say anything. "No really, thank you. F-for just being there."
"Of course I'll be here."
"But why?"
Sirius smiled a little sadly, brushing a strand of hair behind his ear. "Because, I care about you and love you, no matter what. I hate seeing you like this, so if there's anything I can possibly do to make it even a little better, I'll do it."
Remus only nodded, when he laid his head back down. "I love you too." He whispered.
"I love you more, now go to sleep. You need to rest, moony."
"I can't sleep."
"Hmm, well what if I read to you and you try to sleep?" He suggested trying to think of something that would help him sleep, or relax at least.
"I'm not six, I don't need a bedtime story."
"Sixteen and six are quite close, no?" He asked, earning a small smile from Remus. "But no seriously, I can read to you if you want, it's no problem." Remus only nodded slightly, watching as Sirius reached for the bedside table and pulled out a book. He recognized it as the one he had found from the library a few days ago.
Sirius started to read quietly from the first chapter, and Remus listened, first following the text at the same time Sirius read, but closed his eyes after a while, slowly starting to drift off to sleep. Sirius finished the chapter, before putting the book down, almost sure Remus had fallen asleep.
"Goodnight love, sleep well. I love you." He heard a mumbled response from Remus, Sirius kissed his head, leaning more into the pillows, and slowly falling asleep.
A/N:
Alright, hello :)
Okay, that was long, I hope you liked it and that it doesn't repeat itself too much (I felt like that when writing but when I read it I don't think it is) anyway, I might be wrong.
Schools hit harder than I thought, literally someone help me please, anyway I've had this in my wip pile for a while and few days ago wrote the ending.
But like I said, school hit hard so I'm not sure how much time/energy I'll have to write but we'll see, right
Anyway, I hope you liked this

Rich White Men Parties
Summary: Reader feels sick and Tony makes her go to the gala anyway. Pepper comes to your rescue.
TW: vomiting, swearing (once), fever, illness, not being believed, semi-nudity (consented)
Pairing: Pepper x Reader (platonic)
Words: 2k
A/n back at it with the marvel fics again!!!
You needed to show face. It was a fact, one tony had been reminding you of, all week. He knew you hated the gala, thats what you had skipped the last three of them. And now Tony had put his foot down.
On Tuesday he enlisted steve. The two of them had stated that if you skipped this gala, you would be benched from missions for a month
On Wednesday you had been feeling a little off. Chalking it up to a restless nights sleep you drank some more water and took a nap.
Thursday was when things started to go down hill. The water you drank had done nothing. Well … it made you need to pee more but that was it. You had a headache that would have probably taken down Thor.
By Thursday evening you felt like shit on a stick. Your head hurt, your eyes hurt, and your body ached all over. You had decided it was too much. Which was what led you to this point.
You were stood on the threshold of Tony’s lab, debating if this was worth it. You flipped the idea over in your mind like an omelette and decided to just bite the bullet.
You cleared your throat and stepped into the lab. However, that just made your throat hurt.
Tony’s eyes snapped up from his work bench. Peter was sat down on a stool nearby doing homework and his head lifted slowly to watch.
“Mr Stark?” You said timidly.
“Yes?” Tony responded seemingly already annoyed.
“I… I don’t think i can make it to the gala.” You began but he cut you off.
“I don’t wanna hear it L/n. You know the consequence, benched or gala.” He said and turned his eyes back to his work.
“But sir-“ you pressed, and he cut you off again which made you huff quietly.
“Parker? You don’t hear excuses, do you?” Tony asked peter childishly.
“Well sir-“ peter started.
“Never mind kid. Y/n the answers still no.” Tony said.
“Sir she doesn’t look so good.” Peter said taking in your sickly appearance.
“She can shape-shift Pete. If anyone can fake sickness, it’s her. Now finish your homework.” Tony said before turning back to face you.
The flush on your cheeks may have been from anger, embarrassment or the start of a fever, you didn’t know, but it was there.
“L/n, get yourself together. We all hate the media. Press conferences suck. Galas are a step up from that. You, as an avenger, have shown face the least of everyone. It’s impacting your funding, the teams funding. If you want to keep getting missions, you need to give SHEILD a reason to have you in the field more. And on top of training, you need people to like and respect you. Get yourself cleaned up and put your big girl pants on. You're coming to the gala tomorrow night or … like steve said your benched for a month.” Tony said before turning back to his project.
You knew it was over, with a pitying look from peter you nodded to the kid and slunk off down the hall.
You had spent the rest of your day wasting away in your bed. Nausea began to grow in your stomach and despite your body’s protest you forced down a meagre dinner of white rice and chicken.
You called in for an early night and hoped it would all be over tomorrow.
When you woke you felt like shit. Your eyes were tired and sore as you opened them. You dragged your gaze over to the bedside table and almost jumped out of your skin. It was three in the afternoon. You had maybe two and a half hours before the gala started.
Your bones ached, your skin ached, your eyes and your head ached. And more than anything you wanted nothing to do with the gala. But you couldn’t be benched for a whole month. But even now as you felt like hell had frozen over, did it begin seeming like a little less of an awful fate. It was better than throwing up on yourself in front of a room of rich white men in stuffy suits with models hanging off their arms and every word. God, you hated galas.
You pressed a palm to your eye in an attempt to dull the pounding ache in your skull. It did nothing to stave off the persistent form of torture.
You willed yourself to get up, taking at least three spoons to get out of bed.
You stumbled once you were on your feet, steadying yourself on the wall as the room spun and your stomach lurched violently into your chest.
You took carefully calculated wobbly steps to the bathroom before crashing to your knees and heaving. It was unpleasant to say the least. You spat out the foul taste and stood to flush the toilet. You brushed your teeth and inspected your reflection in the mirror. Lifting a finger to make sure that sick and tired looking person in the bathroom mirror really was you.
It was.
You checked the clock and decided to just start getting ready no matter how much you just at wanted to sleep despite having done nothing but sleep all day.
You grabbed the first dress you could find. A tight black number with a slit in the side that almost was something to write home about … almost.
It dipped low on your chest to show off your debt to god otherwise known as perfect boobs. It hugged in the middle to accentuate that snatched waistline and thighs.
You put it on and shivered. It was cold in the thin fabric, or maybe it was too warm. Who knew.
You sat down harshly at the vanity and put on a thick layer of makeup to cover the exhaustion and pale sweaty skin complete with deep purple eye-bags.
You slathered it on thick and fast before checking the time again. You swallowed back the growing pit of sickness in your stomach and began to tame your wild hair.
By the time you had slowly managed to look alive again it was past time for the gala to start.
You summoned your remaining strength to drag yourself up out of the chair. You looked in the mirror once more and fixed your long curly hair.
Sighing you tried to smile like you weren’t dying of a headache what was most likely the initial stages of the flu.
Deeming it good enough you stated out of gala.
When you entered the well-lit room of stuffy rich people your head wanted to split open. And you were ready to let it if it helped.
The music hurt your head, the lights hurt your eyes and the stuffy rich men hurt your soul which was fighting valiantly to leave your body.
You trudged over to a seat in the corner and sat down trying to hide from it all.
The avengers plus pepper were spread across the floor mingling. You watched them from your perch and brooded. Stupid tony and his stupid ego. He could fund the avengers single handedly and still run stark industries.
You fought to keep your head up as exhaustion rolled over you in waves of crushing fatigue.
You groaned quietly and turned to look out the window.
After a few minutes you felt the nausea returning. After a few more you knew there was no stopping the next onslaught of vomiting.
You stood and shivered, heading for the women’s bathrooms, knowing there was no time to find some real privacy.
You hurried across the floor and into the bathroom. You beelined for the largest stall, not bothering to lock it and sunk to your knees.
Your head hovered above the bowl as you gagged and tired to fight it off.
In your haste you had missed that one of the stalls was occupied. Now as you fought heart and soul to not empty your stomach into the toilet, someone was quickly washing their hands.
Then a small knock sounded on the bathroom stall.
“Are you ok in there?” A voice asked and in your fevered haze you failed to recognise its owner. You wanted to respond but you knew if you opened your mouth, it was all over.
As there was no response the door began to open as you turned around again in time to throw up.
Peppers gentle hands scooped your hair off your collar and up out of the way. She used her other hand to gently rub circles on your back.
“It’s ok Y/n/n. You’re alright. Get it out.” She hushed and when you were done you turned to face her with a weak smile.
“Thanks pep.” You rasped.
“Too much to drink?” She chuckled and you didn’t respond, instead spacing out looking at her high heeled shoes. “Y/n/n?” She prompted a frown marring her lips and a wrinkle in her brow. “Earth to Y/n.” She said and still without a response she brushed a curl from your eyes before quickly retracting her hand.
After a second, she replaced it, laid flat against your forehead.
“Oh honey.” She said looking sad. “You’re sick. You have a fever darling.” She cooed and you looked at her with tears on your waterline.
“I know.” You pouted trying not to cry. “Tony wouldn’t listen.” You sobbed.
“Oh sweetie. He’ll listen to me. You and I are going to head to bed, and I’ll look after you. You’re not well and need rest. Whatever Tony thinks, he has another thing coming. Now can you stand up?” She asked softly.
You nodded and slowly stood, swaying on your feet slightly as you did. Pepper put an arm around you and leaned over to flush the toilet.
Then she gently guided you out of the bathroom and over to the lift.
It was a slight blur but before you knew it you were sat on your bed as pepper gently used a cloth to wipe off your makeup.
“For someone who’s hands haven’t stopped shaking, you did a great job on the makeup.” She smiled and you nodded, too fevered to really register the compliment from the queen of galas herself. She looked at you sadly and headed to the bathroom.
She disposed of the washcloth and picked up a thermometer. Coming back to the bed she put the thermometer into your mouth and gently guided you out of your dress. Leaving you in a bra and panties. She slipped on a large T-shirt you slept in and braided your hair.
Then she took out the thermometer and frowned.
“Tonys a deadman.” She said and popped out two fever reducers for you.
She laid her hand on your forehead again to gauge if it was higher than before or not and clicked her tongue. “Defiantly getting these meds.” She said to herself and deposited them in your hands.
She helped you have some water and the medicine and tucked you into bed.
“I’m going to go change but I’ll be back later to check on you. Don’t worry honey, we’ll make sure you get well in no time. I’ll look after you.” She said and Jarvis turned down the lights as she sat down, promising to stay until you fell asleep and to be there when you woke up.
Pepper was like the mum you never had, and it was everything and all your little heart could handle or ever need.
