THEY are the leaders

If you want Kamala to lead her own team, just make the Champions

okey, so now that the news about joe locke being casted in agatha: coven of chaos are out, i need him to play billy maximoff/wiccan. he would do an amazing job, and i can totally see him as elizabeth olsen's son.

however, i have to admit that the casting that i've been manifesting for months is kit connor as teddy altman/hulkling. he was born to play that role (and nick nelson).

some may not be in favor because they already play a couple in heartstopper, but there have been other actors that play couples in more than one project (like adam sandler and drew barrymore). also, these drawings by alice oseman exist...

also, if marvel casts them, they make sure that the actors have chemistry, and that they have a huge fan base that will endorse the show (because let's be honest, we know how the public reacted to she-hulk, so imagine a show with lgtb+ main characters).

my other petition is to cast edvin ryding as tommy maximoff/speed.

Speed Powers are Actually Horrifying

The thing about speed powers is that they both relate to time and temperature. You going through the air EXTREMELY fast would cause friction (air resistance is what causes rain & snow to not drop all at once) so you'd get VERY hot. Like, a path of fire in your wake, hot.

BUT! It also has to do with time since time is just a measurement of how fast things are happening and where you are on the timeline of today. Time on a clock and days on calendars is like a timeline marker. You are Here: Feb, 22nd at 2:43 PM.

This means that if you were to go REALLY fast, you'd experience time differently than everyone else. To you, you might be going on a light jog, but to people that see you, you could be a flash of light.

It reminds me of the Hate monologue from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. The AI (Named "AM") can sense every individual nanosecond. There are 1,000,000,000 nanoseconds in a single second. However, we must also consider time dilation. Time dilation (in simple terms) is when time goes MUCH faster or MUCH slower than is is actually going. Basically it's "time flies fast..." but ALL THE TIME.

So someone with speed powers would probably be VERY fast, to the point of leaving behind a trail of fire and would be extremely impatient. They would probably experience time differently which could lead to self soothing mannerisms such as fiddling with their hands, picking at their hair, running around rooms (parkour?), and bouncing their legs.

My point is:

Speed powers + ADHD symptoms = Horror Concept

This is easier to understand if you've read/watched/listened to I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, but I think the main difference between someone with speed powers and AM is that AM is a machine. AM is an AI. AM (as he says in his monologue), he has no hand to play the piano with, he has no muscles to ache while gardening, he has no body to hold someone with.

But because someone with speed powers DOES have a body, they would have to contend with the responsibility (ha ha reference) of being able to do pretty much anything. They could rob businesses and banks, they could get away with murder, they could start wars.

BUT! To distract themselves and to "pass the time" so to say, they'd probably take up A LOT of hobbies. But this would lead to imposter syndrome since they don't have the same kind of time regular people do. They could learn instruments, but they'd have to play tutorial videos at 3x speed. And what if sound isn't fast enough? Is the speed of sound too slow for someone equal to a god?

Again, you could learn every instrument, but what do you do then? Do you tell people? They either wouldn't believe you, think you can but you're not very good at them, or be insecure because they're the same age and can't even play ONE. Would you tell them that you have speed powers, so there's no reason to feel bad about yourself?

Or do you turn to self expression to satiate the urge to pass the time faster and to get out how you feel? How do you even express yourself when you have a completely different experience than everyone else?

Do you lean into the darkness of your situation and use bone flutes and war drums? Do you use instrument cases covered in human skin like suede? Don't worry, you got the human skin when you where younger, less aware of your responsibilities, not as mature. Your a different person now. (You got it two days ago, but it's not like you realized how long it's actually been).

When you are on more equal footing with gods than you are with humans, how do you cope? How to you keep your humanity?

I know it's just fiction and it's not that serious but I can't take it anymore I am tired of negative conversations about Wanda's kids and people comparing her to other characters sorry if the English is bad...just woke up from a short nap

they always bring this "Super-Strong-super-smart famous-character" blah blah and they’re like “well this Character is so smart and good at fighting and complex he can solo Wanda" or sometimes the repetitive "Wanda have fake kids they just have to say that to defeat her wah wah" it's so annoying...like Wanda's children is not just "fake" if you actually watch WV you would get what I mean, SHE GAVE BIRTH TO THEM, she feels them growing in her belly, they are Alive and...she raised them and celebrate birthdays with them, cook for them...they are real to her she loves her sons and they loved her.... that's why she's so sad and affected when they disappear....like what would you feel if the person you love just disappear and people tells you that they are "fake they don't matter" and also stop saying that you could defeat Wanda by just telling her that her "children are fake" your literally just gonna make her angry. Also the reason her children disappear is bcuz their physical body can only exist inside the hex, they have a soul and they probably got reincarnated like in the comics.

And also why are y'all so normal and calm about making abusive jokes on children? They are kids played by real kids... like why do you want to hit children so badly? I agree that the "song" that they sings is awkward and cringe but is it really needed for you to make disgusting abusive jokes??

Wanda Knows hand to hand combat, she's not that physically weak...sure yeah Natasha or Clint could beat her in hand to hand. it’s wanda. She’s not a Martial Artist. but i hate that people like to say that she's weak and "cant fight" she's not like daredevil or Cap but she CAN fight (watch infinity war or the deleted scenes) and also she's not DUMB she's not Just a regular human with powers she's part of the avengers and she study the book of the damned in her cabin for months or years(not sure about the gap between WV and dsmom)SHE'S IS NOT CLUELESS about magic she literally know how to dreamwalk and did it too without the book, she managed to outsmart Agatha, she summons gargantos and that ribboned demon and managed to kill defender!strange and if it weren't for her kids snapping her out of her murderous rampage she would have won she literally defeats herself... I watched The Marvels. Came back. And immediately wrote the first chapter to an MCU Young Avengers fanfic that everyone else has written. Except with the cast most people are guessing, it has Sam Alexander too. And Viv Vision. And Gwen Poole.

It's called A Mismatched Bunch, and I spent a lot more time trying to think of a good name before calling it quits.

I think I'm officially dipping out of the MCU at this point. It's just... annoying how now that characters that I consider to be my heroes are getting introduced, the MCU execs are just choosing to disrespect all the things that make these characters them as well as what makes them important to their fans.

First it was Spider-Man going from a hero for the beaten down working class to a poster boy for billionaire superhero tech (that's now been fixed with NWH, but still).

Then it was Kate being changed from a badass teenage survivor of assault who raided Avengers Mansion for weapons to help her friends fight a time traveling warlord, to a Hawkeye fangirl.

And now, America is being changed from the reckless and hot headed young adult who rushes into danger to protect her loved ones, to a tween damsel in distress. Not to mention the rumours of her lesbianism being significantly diminished for the movies.

And then there's the very real possibility that we're never going to see Billy and Tommy as Wiccan and Speed, or as gay and bi characters. At least, not in the foreseeable future.

Not to mention the fact that while popular Marvel TV characters such as Daredevil and Kingpin are being brought into the movies, equally as beloved Marvel TV characters such as Quake and Mockingbird are being disrespected. Whether it's not asking the actor for Quake to reprise her role in Secret Invasion (in which Quake was a massive player in the comics), or changing Mockingbird's MCU status to being Barton's retired wife.
