daichi (karasuno) : he ain't joining any frat lmao, and isn't that well-known, it's not like he doesn't have any friends, he's just a normal college boy who studies and roams around here and there when he's free (or plays volleyball), he knows what he wants from his life but can be a bit unsure about it. sweet and kind, but utterly normal. you won't notice him until you sit right next to him or you have a project together. would get a girlfriend and probably end up marrying her. regular to his classes.

oikawa (aoba josai) : you'd think he joined frat, lol. that's a possibility but as far as I think, he doesn't see the need to join a frat, people are swooning over him for no particular reason, he studies to get decent enough grades and all of his remaining time goes into volleyball, he's too ambitious to actually waste his time into parties and such (not saying he won't go to them, but he ain't a party rat). people might think of him as a fboy/player but he really isn't, yeah he might've dated 2-3 girls in the same year but never together. he never dated anyone for more than a month either, like I said, he's too ambitious and too thirsty for volleyball to actually have time to look at other things, not saying he won't enjoy college but yeah, he's gonna spend his time wisely. semi-regular to his classes.

kita (inarizaki) : the most diligent out of all; studies well (always gets the highest grade), very rare parties, helps out professors and goes to extra lectures, does play a little volleyball but only when he's not doing anything else. his room is so tidy omg— doesn't socialise much but people know him because he has top grades lol and is kinda handsome. he ain't missing a class for shit.

kuroo (nekoma) : he's too nerdy to join a frat but won't reject the invitation if he gets it lol, similar to daichi he's on the normal side of college boys, but he's so clever that people just know him as the scheming boy who can get you a full in your project. does parties but is too embarrassed and shy to actually go and talk to his crush(es). yeah no, he doesn't have that rizz and I'm not gonna sugarcoat him. he's an alright guy, a guy whom you will start liking after few initial months of knowing him. would prolly date a friend entering second year of college and won't break up until the situation calls for it. (also talks to professors, lol) very regular with his classes too.

bokuto (fukurodani) : accidentally joined a frat and is proud about it, lol. tries his best to study but barely gets a passing grade. doesn't matter to him, he knows what he wants to do with his life and as long as volleyball is going well, he ain't gonna care about other things. is a party animal but would never do a one night stand, dating isn't even on his agenda lol. he's someone who looks at college as a way to grow into a better person, as a way to give himself another chance to finally have a better personality. he's fixated on his self growth and no one can stop him. would date if someone asked him out, but he's like oikawa in this case, he's too ambitious to actually care about love. his s/o's are the ones breaking up with him and he will be fine after a few days, because even though it does sound bad, his dates aren't gonna be his priority at all (though he might get very attached to someone who actually understands his passion, he ain't gonna let them go, you're stuck with him). tries to be regular but is somehow always late? got lost or something. as long as he's aware about his schedule he tries to stay diligent.

ushijima (shiratorizawa) : joined a frat because someone tricked him into thinking that everyone there played volleyball, doesn't associate himself with the parties and stuff. studies very diligently and practices even more diligently. no, he's not gonna date anyone here either. he will very coldly reject anyone. professors know him because he has good grades but he doesn't go out of the way to actually interact with them. someone please adopt him because else he won't make any friends. very regular with his classes too.

terushima (johzenji) : certified frat and fuck boy, the splitting image of what a frat boy is, but he's just more genuine. parties hard, gets passing grades, is a social butterfly, girls wanna be with him because of sex and is one of the most loyal effing friend ever. does try to help during group projects but... really... his help isn't all that needed. people know him because he's too wild. has many one night stands. but is a sweetheart to everyone who is nice to him. he ain't regular to his classes lol, his professors barely even see him.

synopsis ; finally, the time has come to introduce your so-called boyfriend to your brother! He's been meaning to have a good talk with the both of you, the question is does he approve?

KUROO TETSUROU

"Have you met your sister's boyfriend, Kuroo?"

"Kenma, what do you mean boyfriend? (Y/N) has a BOYFRIEND?!"

(Uh-oh, (Y/N)...I'm sorry...)

Kuroo now is making his way towards her classroom, people gathered in the hallway didn't stand a chance from him, they were either ignored or have been smashed past by him.

Arriving in front of her classroom, he didn't even make a second thought to it and immediately opened the door. The students inside the room were all looking at Kuroo, but among the students her sister was the one who was shook the most only because right now she is sitting next with her boyfriend, and Kuroo saw it.

"(Y/N) and Boyfriend, come outside let's talk. Now."

(KENMA YOU BETRAYED ME!)

Now the three of them are standing outside of the classroom and standing among the hallway, Kuroo instantly made the guy feel unwelcome to the conversation that is about to happen.

"So, when was this? Kenma knows, and I don't?"

"We've been dating for a month now, Tetsu."

Despite grinning ear to ear, Kuroo couldn't help but twitch at the words his sister is uttering. Now, placing a palm above the guy's shoulder. Kuroo leans in towards the guy attempting to say something.

"You might be his boyfriend, but I will be the one she will marry!"

"TETSUROU! WHAT NONSENSE ARE YOU TELLING HIM!"

"The truth! You told me before that you'd marry me!"

"I WAS FIVE AT THAT TIME!"

Bickering back and forth, the boyfriend didn't say anything and stood there but as soon as they felt tired of bickering the boyfriend decided to talk on his behalf.

"Kuroo-san, I like her so much that I've been pursuing her for years now and now that we are dating I want to be the best boyfriend for her! I may not look promising but I would do anything for her!"

Uttering those words in an empty hallway, the words echo throughout , the classrooms with students in it heard what he said and this immediately caused him to turn beat root red. And Kuroo's sister felt her heart skip a beat at those words.

"Kuroo, class is about to start. Go back to the third year's building." Said Kenma who clearly looked haggard from running. Seeing her and the boyfriend Kenma instantly mouthed 'sorry'.

Kuroo now is looking at the back of her sister and the boyfriend on their way to go inside the classroom.

"Kenma, search for information about that guy and I'll break him—"

"Kuroo, shut up."

"BUT!—"

"And seriously, you pulled out the 'You promised to marry me' card against your own sister. You and your sister complex."

"SHUT UP, KENMA!"

TERUSHIMA YUUJI

"I'm home!" It was already late and Terushima just got home from a practice match. Upon removing his shoes, he eyed on another pair of shoes and these shoes were unfamiliar.

(A pair of shoes...a guy?)

"(Y/N)! Mom! Do we have a visitor—"

Walking inside the house, he saw three people chatting and eating in the dining area. Immediately he got close and had a good look on the guy beside his sister.

"Yuuji, dear. Welcome home, come eat after you change your clothes."

"I didn't know we had a visitor, and a GUY too. If I were to judge what I am looking at here right now, I'd say my sister over here is introducing her boyfriend."

The room went completely silent and their mother kept on a smile and a small chuckle, now turning his attention to his sister and the guy beside her are now holding hands under the table.

"My sister doesn't know how to do her own laundry. She doesn't know to even cook! And just like me we collect pretty things and that includes you—"

"YUUJI! ARE YOU REALLY DOING IT AGAIN RIGHT NOW?!"

"Okay, the both of you. Calm down, we have a visitor here..."

"She even snores like an old man, did I mention sneezes as well? So if I were you, you'd pick to get away from her."

"YUUJI!"

"One more thing! If you didn't like any of what I just said. Leave at this moment. If you cannot deal with it—"

The boyfriend stood up in an abrupt manner and looked at Terushima, he looked like a baby bird trembling over at the sight he saw. The aura that Terushima gives right now is enough for him to flee at the moment but he did not.

"Terushima-san! Despite knowing all of those things the more that it made me curious! I want to know her better and even accept whatever she throws at me because with this I can say that I truly do know the person that I love!"

Terushima who witnessed the sincerity of the guy in front of him, made him feel small and finally gave up. Grabbing a chair and placing it beside. Their mother, Terhshima decided to eat with them. Eating huge bites he saw that his sister looked genuinely happy.

"They look great together right?" His mother whispered and gave out a small chuckle.

"(Y/N) promised to marry me so don't get too comfortable thinking you'd marry her, kiddo."

"YUUJI!"

"That reminds me! I recorded it!"

"STOP!"

IWAIZUMI HAJIME

"Hajime, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend."

"Boyfriend, this is my older brother, Hajime."

The room is filled with a tense aura caused by her brother, the boyfriend now is seen to be shaking legs nervous at this point.

"I am (Y/N)'s boyfriend! Nice to meet you, Iwaizumi-senpai!"

"(Y/N), your standards on a guy. You said before you like athletic guys, what is this wimpy kid doing in front of me?"

Iwaizumi is literally looking down on the boyfriend and glaring at him big time, sweat then began to accumulate and the boyfriend feels as if he can feel his heart coming out from his mouth.

"Hajime. I did like guys like that but that was in the past, he is different. I like him, just the way he is."

Iwaizumi's face looks like he is about to vomit at what his sister said, he always thought that he would go for Oikawa all this time but he was wrong.

"Look kid, I don't care if this is for the name of love. But as far as I can recall you just met this guy for a couple of weeks! And you say it's love and what not."

Crossing his arms, he stared at them both making them uncomfortable and not letting them talk for a second. Iwaizumi thought that confronting both of them in the spot would make them break up easily but that isn't the case right now.

(THEY ARE GETTING CLOSER! EVEN HOLDING HANDS IN FRONT OF ME! THIS KID!)

"Always thought you'd keep your promise, made me wait for you since you said you'd marry your big brother when the time comes."

"HAJIME! I WAS A KID BACK THEN! I EVEN TOLD DAD THAT AS WELL! JEEZ!"

"You don't stand a chance, boyfriend. Be thankful for being a pass time by my sister at this point."

Turning his back against them, he felt as if this was the last punch to bring them both down but this only sparked a fire inside of the boyfriend and stood up for himself and fought for what they have.

"Iwaizumi-senpai, we might have met for like a few weeks now but I still like her! I would be her ideal type if I have too! But please do recognize my feelings towards her!"

"You can't marry a girl you just spent days or weeks with!"

"But it's true love!"

(This scene reminds me of that one movie...) She held that thought and kept a close watch at the two men having a familiar conversation.

But in the end everything turned great and they both worked things out and talked this out.

"I'm still against it though, it should be me."

"Hajime, shut up."

“Urgh, Terushima…” Your friend gagged and shook her head as she glared at him. “Always trying to slip into the girls’ panties. Unbelievable. Look at him trying to get her number. Ugh, what a fuckboy.”

You just faked a small little laugh.

Terushima was quite well known in your school. The playboy who had slept with almost every girl in his grade - or at least he had tried. That’s what the rumors said. Did you believe them? Yes and no. It was for certain that he was very flirty with all the girls and definitely had managed to go past that, but the whole grade? You doubted that.

However, did it really matter? Yuji had (apparently) tried to sleep with everyone….except for you. Of course, you knew why that was. You were not like most girls in your school. You weren’t pretty, thin or athletic. Quite the opposite (that’s how you felt about yourself at least).

Yet, when you passed him in the hallway as he had kabe-donned the girl, he still greeted you with a little grin and a nod. That was simply because you were the team’s manager. Yuji was not mean to you, or ignored you or anything like that. He was fun to be around and you got along pretty well in the past two years. The harsh truth simply was: he was not interested in you, neither romantically nor sexually. And for you, who had been heavily crushing on him since your first year together, that was painful, but understandable.

Terushima would never make a move on you.

“He’s such a jerk, right, (Y/n)?!” She started huffing and puffing again.

“Ah, mh…” You quietly approved because you didn't want to explain yourself.

However, you wondered what would happen if anyone would find out about your feelings and the oh so many fantasies. Very explicit fantasies at that. Like the fantasy of you and Yuji being alone and he would needily drag you into the storage room of the gym to have his way with you. Or the fantasy of giving him head in the club room when you two would stay behind to discuss something. Or making out in the gym before morning pract-

“(Y/n)? Hellooohoo?” Sara snapped her fingers in front of your eyes. “You’re not listening to me at all! Stop daydreaming already, we’re late for our science lecture.”

“Ah, shit you’re right. Sorry, Sara.” And thus, you hastily followed her - very, very happy that your arousal couldn’t be seen by others. Seriously, you should stop daydreaming and get over this stupid ass crush. It was hopeless anyways!

Sadly though, those feelings and fantasies were very hard to get rid of. You had tried all throughout your second and also last year of high school. But the more Terushima flirted with anyone and got confessed to constantly, the more your heart ached. You desperately wanted to be one of his many “girlfriends” (hookups) just once.

But what could you do despite longingly sigh and look at him from afar?

Hence why, by the time you were all ready to graduate, you still didn't manage to tell him your feelings. Too scared to ruin your friendship or make things awkward between you, the manager, and him, the captain of your team. You didn't want to pull the team down, so you restricted yourself to just daydreaming and fantasizing. Even though all you wanted was to finally let this crush die already!

After the ceremony was done, you looked back to the old school building. All the memories, good and bad, you would leave them all behind right there. You would never, ever see Terushima again. Your relationship was that of captain and manager; you didn't even exchange phone numbers. He never asked and you were too afraid to come off as “the fatty thought because I was talking to her normally she would have a chance”. So, that was it. At last, you needed to tell him how you felt. Just so Terushima would reject you properly and then you could finally move on after three years of pining after him.

“Terushima-kun.” You walked over to him and a few of his friends.

“Oh, hey, (Y/n)-chan. Can’t believe we’re done, huh?” His usual grin played around his lips. You had to smile as well.

“Yeah. One last time, can I talk to you for a moment? Alone?”

“Oooohhhh~” His friends whistled.

“Aw shut up!” Yuji immediately said and jokingly kicked one of them. “Let’s go, (Y/n)-chan.”

“Yes.”

Your heart started throbbing uncontrollably. So that was it. You would tell him. And then move on. Everyone would go their own ways and you could get over this stupid first love. Your hands shook and you thought your knees would give in. Every step you took was a gamble if you would make it or not. Then you reached the place. The so-called “confession corner” as your high school had dubbed it (very original, right?). How many times had you watched from the windows as someone confessed to Terushima (and other dudes but that wasn't important)? Today was your day to do that.

“Oh…” Yuji knew exactly what was going to happen and somehow, his grin faded a little.

Oh no. Oh no, he was disappointed. At last, the fatty confessed. That’s what he probably thought right now, right? He didn't want to hear it, you knew it, but you had to hear it from his own mouth. That he didn't like you. Otherwise, you couldn't forget him.

“So… Well, I think you know what’s coming, haha.” You nervously looked through your bag and then pulled out a neatly wrapped little box.

Terushima knew indeed what was coming, but he didn't walk away. He faced your confession.

“Every Valentine’s Day I made you homemade chocolate and cookies, but every time, I was too scared and ended up crying in my bed eating it myself. Kinda pathetic, huh?”, you laughed, because you were nervous, “So uhm…I don’t want to end up in my bed eating my own chocolates again. That’s why, please take them as a graduation present. And also…”, you suddenly bowed and reached out your arms to hand him the box of chocolates, “I like you, a lot. Will you go out with me?”

Your hands visibly shivered, your heart wildly thumped and you started sweating- how pathetic. However, Yuji not saying anything just made it harder.

But then, he took the box of chocolates.

“Thank you for these. I’ll make sure to really enjoy them, but… I’m sorry. Right now I just wanna have fun and not commit..”

When you looked up, he didn't look disgusted or annoyed. It was a new expression. A shy smile. Oh no. How were you supposed to forget him when he would show you such a new, cute expression. So, you forced yourself to smile as well.

“Mn. Thank you for being honest and also for listening to me. I am glad we could work together during the past three years.”

“Me too. It was fun.” He took a step forward, but then stopped and instead asked, “Is it okay if I give you a hug?”

“Yeah.”

Thus he wrapped his arms around you. The reality was 10 times more amazing than just your imagination, dreams and fantasies. At least you had felt his arms around you just once. Terushima rubbed your back a little, as you still trembled, before you separated, smiled at each other and then he walked away.

Why did it still hurt so much even though you had known his answer from the beginning? You thought you had braced yourself for rejection enough. But, once Yuji was out of sight, tears still blurred your vision before they rolled down your chubby cheeks. Hearing it out loud was much more painful than just playing this scenario out in your mind.

Your first love, before it could even start, had already ended that day.

# 8 years later #

When the bell above your door rang, you came to the front; as you wiped your hands on your apron, you hastily approached the counter .

“Welco-” But you stopped mid-word.

Oh no. Oh no, no, no. Everyone but-

“(Y/n)-cha- (L/n)-san? Shit, it’s been a hot minute. You remember me, right?”

FUCK! He was HOT. Or rather, Yuji, who you hadn’t seen since your graduation, had matured but still looked as handsome as he was back then. Maybe even a little more handsome. Crap. How could you not remember him? The guy you thought you had finally forgotten.

Well shit, you didn't.

“S-Sure, Terushima-kun. How are you?” You stuttered for a moment, though tried to compose yourself again quickly.

“Great! I’ve been doing amazing. What about you? I heard about the new bakery that had opened and was super popular. Didn’t think I would see you here.”

“Ah, yeah, a lot happened…” New customers then came in as the doorbell rang again. “Ah, Ryo?”

“Sure, (Y/n)-chan.” You didn't have to say more than his name and your co-worker, a very handsome young man, rushed to the front desk as well to serve the customers.

“(L/n)-san, I see you’re very busy. Here.” Terushima suddenly pulled out his phone, unlocked it and handed it to you. “Give me your number and we can catch up.”

Oh hell no! That was not good at all. It all just came back to you. The pain, the heartache, the rejection. But goddammit. It took just one smile from him and you were smitten once again. And you saw he had kept his tongue piercing, too… Shit, where did your mind go again?!

Thus, you took his phone and gave him your number. Your brain screamed at you for your stupidity.

“Thanks. I’ll call you. Now… I’ll have these.” He pointed to the boxes of chocolates displayed in your showcase. God, he knew exactly what he did when he flashed you that teasing grin. So he hadn’t forgotten how to be a tease and a flirt. Yuji was still just like he was back then.

“I always thought they were spectacular.”

“T-Thank you.” AHH, you wanted to slap yourself.

How was it possible that you would meet the guy you’ve had dirty dreams about again eight years later!? You thought that, in a small city in Hokkaido would be the perfect place to never meet anyone from your school ever again. You thought wrong. So wrong.

Once Yuji was gone, you sighed heavily and turned to Ryo.

“I’ll take a quick break, can you manage the counter for a moment?”

“Sure, (Y/n)-chan.”

Once you reached the little break room in the back of your bakery, you slumped into one of the chairs. Of course the one person you’d meet would be Terushima. God, if only you would have had an amazing transformation and glow up, became thin and pretty. But no, instead you were at your heaviest at the moment and you still found yourself the complete opposite of pretty.

But then again… Terushima had your phone number now. Even though you should have been over him by a long shot - just one word was enough and he turned your whole world upside-down again.

“I hope he comes by again…” Damnit!

Terushima, on the other hand, looked down to the phone in his hand and had to really suppress a stupid grin. He got your number. After eight years, he finally managed to get your number.

The truth was, he had always found you cute. And working with you was also fun. He had tried to flirt with you on multiple occasions but you never responded and just ignored it (how could he have possibly known you didn’t realize it because you were too insecure to take it as anything more than just being friendly?). So, he didn't bother you any longer after that and thus, he hadn’t asked for your number or anything. Safe to say, when you confessed after your graduation, he was confused and surprised, but he genuinely didn’t want to commit to one person. Back then, he was an ass who might have even cheated if he had forced himself to stay with just one girl. So, in the end, even though his younger self would have probably said yes to anyone else and ignored their feelings along the way, he couldn't do that with you. Because even back then, you were still special, even if he had realized it way too late after he had already rejected you.

But now, he saw you again after so many years! Terushima couldn’t stop his heart from thumping louder and harder than ever before. You definitely got cuter in the last few years. Plus, he was also rather chill now. He was seldomly going to parties anymore. The last time he brought home a girl was also ages ago. Basically, he wanted a relationship, something that would last and was serious. But… Yuji couldn't help but wonder about that Ryo guy…

Was he your boyfriend? Or were you just colleagues? Ryo hadn't used keigo… and he even called you “-chan” and you called his first name too. Damn. What was your relationship?

And while he asked himself all of that, another question crept into his mind: Would you give him another chance if he tried? You probably hated him and had gotten over him already. Though, there was nothing wrong with asking or trying first, right?

That same night, you rushed out of your bathroom when your phone suddenly rang. You, however, didn't expect to see an unknown number. As your heart thundered against your ribcage, you couldn't help but wonder if it would be… No. He wouldn't, right? Terushima probably just wanted to be nice and not actually catch up with you, right?

Curiosity got the best of you at last and you picked up, “Hello?”

“Ah, hi! (L/n)-san? It’s me, Terushima Yuji.”

For a second, that one sentence took your breath away. All those years of yearning and secretly crushing on him just hit you in the gut once more as your heart almost combusted. It was really Terushima.

“T-Terushima-kun! Hi. Uhm… I didn't expect you to call.”, you truthfully said and immediately regretted it. Stupid!

“Haha, told you I’d call, right? Honestly I am also surprised you didn't give me a fake number.” Yuji might have chuckled but he sounded a little nervous.

“No, I mean, why would I?” You sat down on the bed, still wrapped in your towel. Even though you just took a nice refreshing shower, your body was hot. Listening to his voice like that was heaven and hell.

“Well…I was an ass to you, remember? Our last day.” Yuji nervously scratched his neck which made the many rings on his fingers clink. He didn't like remembering the past that much.

“Aahhh, nhn not at all.”,

It was embarrassing to think back to your confession, hence why you hastily tried to end the topic, “You weren't interested in me and you let me down really gently so it was totally okay, Terushima-kun! Really, no problem.”

He just sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

“Thanks.”, Yuji chuckled a little, but he still sounded a bit strained, “But I mean… I already had a crush on you in our second year so when you didn't even react to any of my flirting, I gave up; so your confession surprised me and then I rejected you for a really stupid reason too.”

When Terushima suddenly confessed he had a crush on you, it sent your heart into overdrive. Heat surged through your body like an erupting volcano; you were certain you could dissolve the drops of water on your skin into thin air with how hot you felt.

“Ah, shit, wait. Why am I even telling you this now?”, Terushima nervously laughed again.

“I think seeing you again kind of made me realize how stupid I was and it made my tongue loose so, uhm, all I wanna ask is if you wanna maybe go out and grab a coffee or something? Like, I don't expect any-”

“I’ll go!”, you yelled into the phone.

Then it was silent. Your face was so hot, you were ready to melt into the towel that was still wrapped around your plump body. And it definitely wasn't any better once Yuji started to laugh. His genuine, cute laughter was something your heart wasn't ready for.

“I-I’m sorry, I-”

“Cute.”, he interrupted you, “You’re really cute, (Y/n)-chan. Ah, sorry, old habits die hard, is it okay to call you that?”

“Mn.”, was all you managed.

That was the first time someone had called you cute. For some reason, your vision blurred as tears sprung to your eyes. Maybe, you could really believe in his words?

“Heh heh, thanks, you can also just call me by my first name though.”, Yuji still chuckled, before it was quiet once more. Though only for a few moments.

“So… uhm (Y/n)-chan…is it okay to get my hopes up?” Terushima didn't even hesitate. Like back then, he was still as straight-forward when he wanted something or someone.

You just hid your face in your free hand and suppressed a squeal. Was that really happening? Not just a dream?

“Yeah… Yuji-kun.”

As you heard a small thud, you thought he fell down somewhere, but all you could hear on the other end was then, “… You’re unfair, (Y/n)-chan.”

Even though he had just confidently told you to casually call him by his first name as well, he didn't think you would immediately say it (and truth be told, he didn't think it would affect him that much).

HQ!! Types of friends || misc headcanons

Based on actual things I've done with my friends cause it's the little things in life <3

Ft. Atsumu, Kenma, Tsukishima, Akaashi, Bokuto, Daichi, Terushima, Oikawa, and Nishinoya

Atsumu is the one who has a water balloon fight with you, in your front yard, at 10pm. You were supposed to have it earlier, but the day had other plans. But when he saw you feeling bummed about it, he took the initiative to fill the balloons and put them outside for you two. Sure it was cold, but the way you two were laughing your asses off as you tried to hit each other, and failed half the time because of how dark it was? A memory you won't ever forget.

Kenma who calls you at 9:30pm, asking if you'd want to come over and play games with him. Sometimes the night consists of the two of you playing some multiplayer game together, while other nights are spent sitting quietly as you both try to complete your own games. When you stay over a little too late, he'll say that it's okay if you just crash there. And if you're the type who doesn't sleep until it's technically morning, just like him, the two of you will scrounge around the kitchen finding odd snacks for 4am, like left over pizza for kenma, and two uncrustables for yourself.

Tsukishima isn't one to be overly affectionate to his friends, everyone already knows this. But you easily notice that it's the little things that show he cares. Something he does often, is recommending movies or tv shows that he enjoyed, hoping that you'd like them too. He will usually wait a few days before asking if you watched them yet, and to ask what you thought about them. He likes to make sure that you enjoyed what he recommended, and of course it makes him feel better knowing that he's still up to date with the things you like.

Akaashi is the type of friend who will let you randomly come over, sprawl across his bed and just talk about your day. He likes to watch you recount your adventures, finding it funny how animated you can be while storytelling. Occasionally he'll add his own anecdotes, granted they're a lot less flashy, but it always brings your mood up just hearing about his day. At a point, he makes sure to have 'your spot' on his bed clear of anything that could get in your way, and even bought extra blankets for you to use while you're there.

Bokuto always gives you the biggest bear hugs when he sees you, as long as you let him do so that is. It doesn't matter if it's been a few weeks or a few days since he saw you last. He wraps strong arms around you, nearly squeezing the life out of you as he lifts you from the ground, a boisterous and infectious laugh that will rumble through his chest each and every time he does this. One time, when he went on a particularly long trip, he left you with a sweater of his, saying something about how hopefully it would take the place of his hugs until he came back.

Daichi is the friend who tries new recipes with you. If you're craving something, he'll find the recipe online, and go buy the ingredients. You take turns on whose kitchen you use, but you always cook them together. There's always a good mix of your favorite music artists, resulting in small dance parties while you wait for your food to cook. For the most part, you two wind up with a delicious meal or snack, but there have been times when something doesn't come out right, and you have to brainstorm on who to give the leftovers to.

Terushima goes on late night drives with you. If it's nice enough, the windows are rolled down, and the music is just slightly too loud to have any sort of conversation with him. Sometimes he's a little scary of a driver, in his words "the curbs just jump out at me sometimes" but regardless, you'll always think fondly of how terrible of singers you both are, though neither of you care that much. Sometimes, when you're feeling extra dubious, he comes up with the scheme of stealing a lone traffic cone, which has resulted in his room having two or three of the things.

Oikawa hates house sitting alone. He honestly just hates being alone in the first place, which is why you're the first of his friends that he reaches out to. He makes sure to tell whoever it is that he's watching the house for that you'll be there, and by now they've come to remember your name. Sometimes you two don't even do anything while you're there, but the comfort in knowing that neither of you are alone in an unfamiliar place is always welcome. On top of that, he likes to joke about how similar house sitting together is to if you'd be roommates. Slightly messy living room, sleepovers in your not so far rooms, and plenty of movie nights.

Nishinoya goes ghost hunting with you. He's practically the only one of your friends who even agrees to go. He'll help research any supposedly haunted areas in your town, and do his best to exaggerate the details in an attempt to scare you. While you're out on an adventure, he'll be sure to make sure he's prepared with all of the necessary items, flashlights, snacks, bandaids, some sort of protective ward, random coins to leave as gifts for the spirits. You love seeing how invested in the activity he gets, and how eventually he's the one inviting you to go out and explore.

First dates with the boys (Haikyuu)

Well, I got carried away at the last post of the confession because Bokuto is just so cute. haha But I have this in my drafts so take it as a continuation hehe. But I'll add in more of the boys too. <3

He picked you up waaaaay earlier than your agreed time, luckily you guys were going to the amusement park so you didn't need long to dress up.

He drove because "we can reach there faster and spend more time playing rides!!"

And indeed he does. He plays ALL of the fast and cool rides except the kids ones. But if you want to, he'll definitely go with you on the spinning teacups. And he'll definitely go on the merry go round and ferris wheel with you because "That's what all couples in shows do!!"

He's also pretty good in all the games so he wins you some stuffed toys as well, he tries he very best to as well. When he doesn't win, you can see he'll start to get a little emo and pouty and you have to tell him that's it's okay, else he might really find somewhere to hide under and pout.

You have to show him that you're REALLY appreciative and happy with what you have, and convince him you REALLY don't need that huge duck anymore.

He goes to the hunted house and he tries to act all macho but he's a little spooked too. In the end you both held hands and ran for the exit.

He then brings you to a nice cafe with milkshakes and ice cream because "that's the way to end an amusement park date!" Gets you everything you want to eat, "don't worry y/n, I'll finish what you can't!"

Sends you home all the way to your doorstep before 12 midnight, and juts his cheeks out, asking you for a peck on the cheeks. Of course you give it to him, he's been nothing but a gentleman the entire day. And he floats all the way back to his car with a goofy grin on his face.

Kuroo Tetsuro

He reached 1 hour early but was worried you might think he's overly eager so he waited somewhere until it was 15 mins to your agreed time and knocked on your door.

He dressed casually but neat at the same time, making it look like he didn't really put much effort but in fact he thought of what to wear for 2 DAYS. He also tried to tame his hair for a good hour prior to meeting you.

He brought you on a mini road trip, had a little mini picnic at the back of his rover on the way to the destination, then you explored the other city a little. To surprise you, he brought you to a little mini event of (something you loved). Like a little pop-up store, or a museum or some small carnival that was being held.

He watches your face light up and he smirks his shit eating smirk, "thought you might like it,"

He holds your hand and let you walk him through the entire thing, telling him about what was your favourite and letting you talk non stop about it. He's a real good listener too and will ask serious questions to learn about whatever you liked.

He then asks you to join him in a volleyball event in the near future and bam, this smooth man gets his second date all ready.

Buys a little souvenir so the both of you can have a "couple" thing.

Brings you to a nice restaurant that he's researched about in that city and pays the bills. Kuroo has sparred no expense on this date with you.

Drives you home and sends you to your doorstep, and gives you a kiss to your forehead. "I had a really good time today, and I already miss you."

Yuuji Terushima

Texts you "I just woke up, are you awake?" before heading over to pick you. This boy looks like he doesn't really sweat it when it comes to first date but in fact he was nervous. He checked himself in the mirror TONS of times even though he was just wearing jeans and t shirt.

Brought you to mall with nice food that wasn't too over the top. And pays the bill because "how can I let a pretty angel pay on her first date with me"

He then brings you to the arcade where he's absolutely thrashing all the high scores there. Basketball, whack a mole, shooting, he even wins in mario kart. He doesn't give in to you even if you're his date.

He wins lots of tickets and he lets you exchange them for anything you'd like.

He's also cool on letting you drag him into those instant photo booths and he draws and decorates your faces in funny stickers. He places it in his wallet's photo holder or the back of his transparent phone cover immediately.

Brings you to watch a live game. Baseball, basketball, volleyball anything that was on that day. This boy knows a lot of sport and he would teach you the rules and could tell who was good and not.

He's all up for impromptu things because after the game, there was a good movie screening when you walked past and he just bought the tickets and off you went for a movie.

It was already late when the movie ended and he just laughed it off saying, "time flies when I'm with a pretty lady."

You were both a little hungry so he made you call home to tell them that you'll be late and he brought you for supper at a place he frequents. It was a nice chill bar and you both had some drinks but he made sure not to let you drink too much.

Gave you his jacket and flagged a cab for the both of you and sent you back home. "I hope you had lotsa fun today, I hope I deserve another date after today," he smirks and kisses your temples.

He then flags another cab home himself.

Well there he was, in class, not looking at you in the eyes while you got scolded. After the morning classes you couldn't find him at lunch or with his teammates, which was really odd. You checked everywhere, even asked his teammates but they said they didn't know.

It went on like that, he wouldn't walk with you nor talk with you.

Then someday, you went to rooftop, just to see the two of them, the girl he was talking about days ago, sitting together, snuggling each other while one feeding the another.

But..

He never really shared his food with you.

It got you shocked that you couldn't even move or blink.

You run to the bathroom, tears forming your eyes. Washing your face quickly, not wanting to let some tears run down from your cheeks. After going to class and settling down, you put your head down to the desk covering your face with your arms. ' It's been a month and a half, how come they didn't break up yet?? He didn't even lasts his relationships over a month.. I thought he was.. It's all fun and games for him, h-how.. ' you continued to think, not caring about last classes or the teachers anymore.

He wouldn't notice your behavior at first. He'd think you were just getting yourself busy with the tests. He noticed it when he broke up with the girl and trying to talk with you. You were pushing him away or not talking with him. He'd try again and again till you let your feelings out.

You guys stood like this for some time.

" Let me go, will you? It's really awkward and stuff. " he took his hands down.

It happened all too quickly. Firstly you felt some hands on one of your shoulders and one of on neck, secondly your hands were on his chest and lastly his lips were on yours.

His eyes were closed but you were just staring at him with your wide eyes.

You pushed him away and closed your mouth with your hand.

" What are you doing Terushima?! How could you do that- "

" What? You just confessed and i turned your feelings back. Why are you so shocked then? "

You punched back of his head.

" You dumbass! You.. You should've just told me you were feeling the same! That's not how things work! "

" But- "

" No buts! Why would i believe you though huh? You broke so many girl's heart till now. Don't play with me, i won't let you so. "

You started walking away, blush forming on your cheeks. He run up to you and just pouted.

" The last one was the fakest one though y/n-chan! I did it for your attention. "

You just continued walking.

" Why would i believe you? Everyone, even me, knows you as a playboy. "

" Because! Uh.. i did it for your attention because some of my my teammates said that you were liking someone from class 2-4. So i thought i could get your attention with the other girl. I actually did it for us but you know it only made us apart for some time. "

You sighed. " You're really stupid sometimes, you know that right Teru? "

He pouted again and you chuckled at him.

" How come you didn't broke up with her after a month? "

" It was part of the plan heh.. You knew I broke up with the girls after a month so i asked her to pretend a little longer, that's why. "

You nodded while both of you continued to walk.

" So we're dating right? " he said, looking at you, smiling.

" Hm not really, you didn't ask me out yet Teru "

" Then.. Uh it's weird to ask this question for real but uh, would you like to be my girlfriend? "

" Yeah i'd like to but i don't really trust this relationship, we'll see after a month so. "

He nodded and tried to hold you by your shoulder but you were already in front of your house.

" See you tomorrow, Yuuji " you said while walking towards the door.

" See you too, babee " he said while waving at you, smiling brightly.

You can feel the heat coming from your cheeks while closing the door after you quickly.

' stupid yuuji! ' you thought, smiling to yourself.
