Life’s Beauty Marks
learning to love and embrace your ACNE beauty marks. nature is gorgeous.
i love my blemishes,
a new scar everyday.
my flesh is alive
and that’s okay.
they’re only beauty marks,
graced on the space
on my back, up my shoulders
and on my face.
i love to be alive,
with skin that breathes.
the strength in my guts
puts me at ease.
they’re only natural,
you’re human just like me.
don’t let the vigor on my vessel
be all you see.

Sometimes.
Sometimes there is no next time, or second chance.
Sometimes it's not see you later, its goodbye.
Sometimes forever, has an end date.
And sometimes we must break, to heal.

Concept:
The years of anger have left my body. The sadness has seeped out of me. The resentment no longer leaves a fire burning in my stomach. The guilt no longer lingers like a bullet in my side. I do not live my life afraid anymore. I haven’t flinched in years. I have finally unclenched my jaw and relaxed my body, I feel safe. I am safe. Everything is quiet now, including my mind. I have made space for what all of it truly was: grief. I pour her a cup of tea each morning and evening alongside my own. She was never the enemy. Neither was I. I look back on all of the past versions of myself that have died with empathy, gratitude, and respect. I thank them for everything they did to keep me alive, I tell them that I am beginning to understand. I bring flowers to their graves often, and hug each of them in my dreams. I ask them to forgive themselves, as I’ve finally forgiven myself. I found a peace I never thought was possible. And I love how it feels to be alive.

Quote
but forget the successes where I truly spread my wings, ascend and fly free, excited and celebrating… to be forgotten with the waves of new dreams, new narratives crashing upon this memory shore, washing away all trace of success engraved in sand.

I wrote this Poem about showing unconditional love and compassion to people who have been Emotionally wounded and how I desire to come along side of them and do whatever it takes and to be their friend to help them to heal their heart. This includes people with hardened hearts, Narcissists, and any one who has been emotionally damaged in anyway. Here is my poem, Enjoy!
Title: Healing Hearts with Love
In a world where wounds run deep, Where tears fall and souls silently weep, There lies a path, gentle and kind, To heal the hurt and ease the mind. When emotional storms begin to brew, I'll be there, a friend so true, To listen, support, and understand, Extending my heart and lending a hand. For those whose hearts bear a heavy load, I'll offer advice, a wisdom bestowed, With patience and care, I'll help them cope, Guiding them toward a renewed hope. And to the narcissistic, self-absorbed, Whose hearts, in selfishness, have soared, I'll strive to teach compassion's way, To soften their hearts, for love to stay. For they, too, deserve a chance to learn, To break the cycle, to love and discern, Unconditional love, I'll freely give, So their own hearts may begin to live. For often, they've never known love's embrace, Their hearts hardened, their spirits misplaced, So I'll offer acceptance, love unfeigned, A refuge where healing can be attained. To the wounded souls, I extend my care, A shoulder to lean on, a friend always there, With tenderness, I'll wipe their tears away, And walk beside them, come what may. So let us embark on this journey of grace, Together we'll find solace, in love's embrace, Healing hearts, one by one, we'll mend, With empathy, compassion, a true friend. For love has the power to resurrect, To heal the wounded, to reconnect, Let's stand united, hand in hand, And bring healing to this broken land.

the traumatized never lies.
it is okay to reach out for help if you need it. it will haunt you no matter how much you deny it. // poems for the denial
I never thought the horrors would find me.
Yet all they seem to do is define me.
No matter where I run.
What I’ve done.
Locked up tight or free.
I can not hide from me.

A Running Leap
Photo by Polina Chistyakova on Pexels.com I took a chance on myself today I finally hit the big red button. The one my finger has been hovering over, teasing a gentle press. And the moment I did, I stopped waiting, waiting for someone else to take that chance on me, for someone else to see my worth, and started putting those efforts, into loving myself And that meant letting go of the…

Healing.
I am learning to piece together the parts of me that have been broken for so long.
I need peace and tranquility, understanding and reassurances.
I’m not quiet and broken,  rude or conceited.
I’m healing from trauma, from heartbreak and loss.
There is a beauty in my silence, a strength and a power.
I’m going to make it through this, no matter your cause.

I am no more damaged than the ravaged sea.
No more unfathomable than the trees who lay to rest in the forest.
No angrier than this storm against my skin.
No darker than this starless sky.
I am not alone in the vastness of it all.
