Tony keeps in touch with Harley post IM3.
Tony hacks into Harley's school to see what his grades are and it not clocking that he could literally just ask about it.
Tony keeping up with the Keener’s via twice monthly phone calls that turn into weekly ones that turn into Tony and Mrs. Keener texting back and forth.
Tony invites the kid to visit during a school break where they both just tinker with things. Harley is nervous at first until they meet up again and they start snarking back and forth.
At least one minor fire or explosion happens. If asked, neither know what started it. (Tony was wiring a gauntlet and Harley jokingly called him Dad when Tony told him he had to do his homework.)
The Keener’s visit for a week in the summertime, Tony has bought the lake house earlier to have a place away from people. Mrs. Keener and Pepper get along pretty well and both the kids like Pepper, so Tony counts it as a win.
Tony offers to pay for Harley and his sister's education and Mrs. Keener took him up on it because there was no way she’d be able to afford to send both her kids to college unless one of them got a free ride and Tony shows he cares by spending money and making sure those he cares about are safe and comfortable.
Harley spends the summer before his freshman year of high school with Tony. Tony finds a used classic car and they spend the summer rebuilding it and upgrading the engine to run clean.
Tony finds Spider-Man and finds out he’s a year older than Harley. Tony panics because here’s another kid genius but this one's in way over his head and will stay in over his head regardless of if he has support or proper equipment. Tony decides that no one else is gonna help this kid and give him as much protection as he could if he built him a suit, so he does just that.
Tony finds out about Midtown through Peter and approaches Mrs. Keener with an opportunity for Harley. (It's a genius school and it's practically a feeder to MIT, it'll be great.) Harley moves into the tower that Tony has kept here because he has reason to stay in the city.
Tony is a lot better at dealing with a kid because he's been hanging out with Harley so long, so he invites Peter over to meet Harley and have lab time.
Harley just quips “so you’re my replacement?” to Peter and Peter immediately panicking and stuttering over himself while Harley howls with laughter.
Harley helps Peter learn to be more comfortable around Tony by roasting Tony for twenty straight minutes and after a month of lab days enlists Peter's help in making a program for FRIDAY to blast Barbie Girl when Tony has spent 24 hours or more in the lab.
Peter asks Harley to hang out with Ned outside of lab days. The three of them end up building a LEGO Deathstar and have drawn up the plans to be able to make it hover the next lab day.
Peter and Harley become thick as thieves and get to the point of that weird twin telepathy especially when it comes to being sassy.
One school break the three of them didn't go outside for the first four days, just spending most of the time in the lab so Pepper comes in and orders them to go outside for once my god Tony. Take them to your favorite burger place, I don't care, just be outside.
This leads to the three of them getting Pap'd. ("Yeah, I was out to lunch with my two interns, what's the matter with that?" is the quote above a picture of him laughing as the two boys pretend their straw wrappers are mustaches.)
This leads Tony to realize that he hadn't actually gotten the boys registered as his interns and remedies this immediately. (with backpay into a trust for each of them(Harley already gets an allowance, Tony has no idea how much is the proper amount to give to a 14 year old, and so usually gives him a few of whatever bills are in his wallet.))
Tony decides that now that they're officially employees of SI, that means they get to check out the place and so brings them down to R&D where everybody is immediately charmed by Peter and amused by Harley. The boys end up talking to the interns on the floor while Tony discusses the latest StarkPad.
One lab day both Harley and Peter look exhausted but Peter still showed up for lab time so they make their way there. Tony takes one look at them and asks FRIDAY to scan them, they both have fevers and he herds them into his living room.
Tony orders all the cold remedies he can think of to be brought up to the penthouse. Tony instructs the boys to pick a movie while he gathers blankets and dumps them on the boys.
Tony frantically texting Harley's mom and May asking them what he should do I've never taken care of a sick kid before, there are two of them, what do I do??
May asks Tony if Peter can stay the night because she's working a double that she can't get out of. He says yes if she can tell him what to do for sick kids because Harley's mom hasn't been able to respond.
Tony ends up joining the boys on the couch after forcing each of them to take cold medicine and thrusting a bowl of chicken noodle soup into each of their hands. Tony's in between the boys.
Over the course of WALL-E each boy begins to sag eventually trapping Tony on the couch. He's got one drooling in his shoulder and another drooling on his thigh. He asks FRIDAY to take several pictures before going back to his work on his StarkPad.
This starts Peter staying over whenever May is working night shifts. Then staying over every other weekend. Then Tony invites May and Peter to go on vacation to the lake house for a few days in the summer.
The Keener family is also present and May, Pepper and Mrs. Keener get on like a house on fire. Peter loves playing with Abbie with Harley. Three group chats are made that day. The adults in a co-parenting chat, the ladies in an exasperated with our geniuses chat and the kids in a sass and meme chat.
Just, Tony becomes a dad to two brilliant boys (and maybe one of the boy's baby sisters too depending how you want to write her).

Irondad fic ideas #24
Irondad lab days but Peter comes straight from school, and on the days Happy doesn't drive Peter to and from school, he finds weirder and weirder shit to carry with him to the lab. One day he comes in with a cat he's watching for Ned, another day it's an enter sign he found on the floor at school (or any sign, really), it's rusty keys he found it the gutter on someone's roof, a really cool stone he finds when passing the Sanctum (It's probably not gonna kill us, Mr. Stark! Look how it glows! Isn't that cool?) And every time he brings something by Tony's just like "HOW DO YOU KEEP FINDING STUFF LIKE THIS??"
Peter walking into Tony's lab like "Hey Mr. Stark!" And carrying, like, a bench
This idea was submitted by @derpmallow !
Edit to add!!! Bonus:
Peter doesn't start it intentionally: he doesn't have the whole sticky-thing under control yet, so it just kinda happens. But after he finds Tony's reactions amusing he's just like, "I'm gonna go find the weirdest shit to bring over here"

The stairs groaned under Harley’s feet as he bolted up to the ninth floor. His heart was racing faster than it ever had. He had no time to lose. He didn’t want Doc to start testing without him. He finally reached the ninth floor. Out of breath, he pushed the door open and looked around wildly.
Doc was standing over some blueprints with a pencil tucked behind his ear. He already had his green protective goggles on.
“Did you start already?” Harley asked, between deep gulps of air.
Octavius grinned and shook his head. “I would never start without you. I was just running the numbers for the 100th time. C’mon, let’s get started.”
Harley sighed with relief and put on his goggles. “So what was your big breakthrough? What did you figure out?”
“Last night I was at home thinking everything over.” He began. “I was thinking about why the fusion reactor was so unstable. I went over the calculations, the blueprints, everything. But it wasn’t until I looked through my early notes on the project that I realized, the electromagnets we have been using for weeks aren’t powerful enough to sustain their own charge.”
“That can’t be right. We got the strongest electromagnets on the market.”
“That’s what I thought too, until last night. I found this,” He groaned as he lifted a massive coil of metal. Bigger than Harley had ever seen. “Holy shit,” He breathed.
“This is the breakthrough. And, why I need your help installing it.”
Harley nodded his head. He was speechless. “How- how did you even get this?”
He shrugged. “I told you, I’m a great negotiator. Are you gonna help me install these or what?”
The two set off to work. Harley moved quickly and with excitement, taking out the old electromagnets and replacing them with the new, more powerful ones. Doc simultaneously reconfigured the equations and power levels to accommodate the new current levels.
“All done here, Doc,” Harley said, putting the last of his tools away.
“Perfect timing. Let’s give this a full test, huh?”
“What? We don’t even know if the new current level is stable. It might-”
“Do you trust me, Harley?”
Harley sighed. “Yea.”
“Then let’s get this thing running.”
It was hard to ignore his growing anxiety as Doc began the test. But Harley trusted him. He chose to ignore the pit growing in his stomach and watch as the machine powered up. The core burned a bright orange to warm up. Orange turned yellow, turned bright white.
“Yes!” Octavius shouted, both fists in the air. “It works! We did it!”
Harley couldn’t help but smile. They’d really done it. He looked at the laptop displaying the current levels. “Current levels steady. I can’t believe it works.”
“I can!” Octavius grinned. “I knew we could do it.”
“Not ‘we’, Doc. You.”
“Don’t be so modest, I couldn’t have done it without you. You think these old bones could do all that heavy lifting?”
Harley snorted. “You got a point-”
There was a loud beeping from the laptop in front of Harley. “The current’s destabilizing.”
“What! How? I ran the numbers a hundred times.”
“I’m shutting it down,” Harley began typing quickly on the laptop.
“No! You can’t. It was working,” Octavius pushed Harley from the laptop. He was stronger than he looked.
“If we don’t shut this thing down we could blow the power everywhere in Queens. Or worse.”
A vein bulged from Octavius’s forehead. He stood silently staring at Harley for a moment. “You’re right.”

@comfortember Day 24. Family + 20. Blanket fort + 30. Light At The End Of The Tunnel
Better Together
Summary: Tony has a bad day and his family help him feel better.
Read on AO3
It was going to be one of those bad days. The one where anything and everything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
Things went wrong from the second that Tony woke up with an aching shoulder from where he had fallen asleep at his lab workbench. The next wrong thing happened only moments later when Tony saw that it was just after 8am and remembered that he had a meeting at 08:30.
He almost toppled from his chair as he jerked to his feet and ran for the elevator but managed to save himself from falling completely, something the shoulder he fell asleep on was happy with.
He made it to his and Pepper's room in seconds and was in and out the shower moments later, cursing when knocked his head against the cabinet next to the mirror when he ducked to wash the foam from his hastily neatened goatee.
Tony was internally grateful that he hadn't quite lost the touch of getting ready in a rush. It was one thing he was glad stuck around from his wild college days and the subsequent almost missed classes.
He fled the room in a flurry of limbs and clothes, his tie hanging from his teeth as he yanked on a pair of expensive leather Oxfords over his Spider-Man socks, a smile escaping at the gag gift Peter had gotten him for father's day.
"Fri, baby, turn off Rise and Shine and start the coffee for me." Tony grunted around the tie still in between his teeth as he straightened up before carrying on to the kitchen. He was greeted by the delicious smell of coffee as he came into the room.
Tony let the tie fall and caught it, looping it over his shoulders as he grabbed a mug from the cupboard and filled it with the dark roast he knew had just been brewed. Or tried to, because when he lifted the coffee pot, the handle snapped and the pot fell crashed against the counter, spewing the hot beverage across the counter and straight over the front of his shirt.
"Oh, you fu–" He cut himself off, hissing as the coffee sank through his shirt. He grabbed a kitchen rag and frantically dabbed at it as he looked at the time. 08:22. Shit, he thought, dropping the towel and thanking the fact that he happened to grab a black dress shirt and wouldn't have to worry too much about the coffee staining it.
He abandoned the coffee disaster and quickly did up his tie. He knew the skin where the coffee had splashed wasn't burnt, he'd had enough experience with burns in the lab to know it was just a bit tender so he ignored that too and made his way to the elevator with a sigh.
It was going to be a long day.
---
Tony was right. Damnit, sometimes he hated being right.
One meeting, two headaches, the wrong lunch order, and a bruised hip where he'd walked into his desk and Tony was ready to go home.
He still had an hour left until he was set to go home. Honestly, what bullshit was that? He owned the damn company. Why did he have to follow a time schedule as well?
Rubbing a hand over his face, Tony sighed and leaned back in his chair, wincing when it pressed against his shoulder. Getting old was bullshit as well. He couldn't even handle a single night sleeping somewhere that wasn't a bed.
Checking his watch for what felt like the millionth time, Tony huffed out a breath. "Do I have anything else officially scheduled for today, Fri?" He asked the AI.
"Nothing, Boss."
"Okay. Yeah, no. I'm done, Fri." He stood from his chair and moved swiftly to the door of his office. "Lock it up, Irish Whiskey. It's home time."
---
Tony stepped out of the elevator back on his personal floor and walked straight into Pepper's arms. He ducked his head against her shoulder, wrapping his arms around her and breathing in deeply.
Pepper just smiled and held him close, brushing a hand over his head. "Hi, Tones. Friday said you had a rough day. Peter's up in the shower, and there's Italian on the way as well. I'm going to get Morgan done and we'll join you guys in the lounge, okay?"
Tony pressed a kiss to Pepper's shoulders, arms tightening slightly around her waist. "Have I told you how much I love you?"
He felt his wife and her hand run through his hair again. "Yeah, you have. And I love you too, you know. Now get going, the kids are probably going to want to build a blanket fort."
With a final squeeze, they pulled away, Tony giving a tired yet snarky salute to Pepper as she walked off to make sure Morgan got showered and changed into her pyjamas. "Yes Ma'am."
Tony made short time of his own shower and getting changed into pyjamas, eager to relax with his family  after the day he'd had. By the time he made it back to the lounge, Peter and Morgan were already laying down pillows and blankets over a few spare mattresses that Tony had ordered specifically for their blanket forts.
As soon as he stepped into their line of sight, Peter and Morgan's heads snapped towards him and they darted over, throwing themselves (Peter much more gently) into his arms in what felt like an attempt on his life with how wrapped up he was between them.
"Whoa, hey. Hi sweethearts, I love you both too, but can we maybe save the strangling and octopus impersonations for once we're comfortably on the mattresses and cushions?" Tony chuckled but hugged them back nonetheless.
Peter groaned as if Tony had just told him that it wasn't Han who shot first. "Fiiiine. But I get to use my webs to secure the fort." He and Morgan reluctantly pulled away, the younger going back to organising the blankets.
Tony raised a brow at Peter and the teen huffed. "Yes, the special webs that don't stain or sink into the fabric. I double checked that I had the right cartridges in, don't worry."
Pepper laughed as she walked into the room, freshly showered and in her own pyjamas. "Peter, sweetheart, it's Tony. He's always going to worry. The only one who could beat him in his worries is May."
Peter, much to Tony’s amused yet fond betrayal, nodded along with what Pepper said as if it made the most sense in the world. Which it totally didn't. It was obvious who was the bigger worrier between him and May and it wasn't him. No sir'ee. No way.
"If you gang up on me, Morgan and I are kicking you both out of the fort and taking it for ourselves."
Before the banter could continue, Morgan poked her head out from under a very green Hulk blanket. "No more talking! We have a fort to build!" She ordered and they all smiled at her.
"Where do you want the webs, Mongoose?" Peter asked his sister, and she pointed out all the areas she thought would work best, Peter diligently following her instructions.
Soon enough the fort was made and they all crawled inside, eagerly digging into their takeout that had been delivered moments before.
Tony couldn't help but smile. What had started as a bad day, had been turned completely around just by being with his family.
They really were the light at the end of the tunnel.

One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Where’s Morgan?  An Irondad Oneshot
To say that everyone was excited to go to Disneyland was an understatement. It was a very big understatement.
Tony had planned every detail of the trip, making sure that they had bought the right amount of the correct passes to get everyone in and the hotels reservation, and rental car.
When he had finalized the plans, he gathered everyone in the living room.
"Ok, what is this about?" Harley asked suspiciously. "Is this a set up to a prank?"
Tony gasped in indignation.
"Why would you ever say that? Would I really do that to you?"
"You've been acting weird." Peter pointed out. "You keep on minimizing the internet tabs every time we would enter your lab."
"That doesn't mean anything. I could be trying to find you all your Christmas presents early." Tony replied immediately.
"But since when do you shop for us on the Disneyland website?" Morgan asked slyly.
Then there was a moment of silence.
"WAIT, WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND?!" The boys asked in disbelief.
Tony let out a laugh that only showed itself with his family.
"That's right. Oh, and I also invited Shuri because last time she was here in the states, she didn't get to go."
All of the kids smiled at each other in excitement.
"The fact that Shuri is coming too is amazing dad!" Harley said.
"This is going to be so fun. Oh I've been wanting to go to Batuu so bad!" Peter gushed.
"Make sure to buy me some shoes with inserts so I'm tall enough for all the rides, dad." Morgan said.
"Wait, when are we going?" Harley asked suddenly.
"Tomorrow. Mom already made a packing list of all the essential items we need to pack." Tony said with a thankful smile to Pepper. "You should be receiving the lists any second now."
Everyone's phones vibrated with the notification of a list. As soon as the kids felt it, they ran to their respective rooms to start packing.
*The next morning*
"All right, do we have everybody on the jet?" Tony asked.
Pepper looked around and thought for a moment.
"Okay, I'll give each of you a number and whenever we do a head count, when I say your number, wave or something. That way we know we're all here. Ok, Tony, you'll be 1, Rhodey, you'll be 2, Harley, 3, Shuri, 4, Peter, 5, and Morgan, you will be 6. Everybody got that?"
Everyone nodded.
"We'll try it a few times on the way so we can get the hang of it."
After a long flight, and a few practices of number counting, they arrived in Anaheim and made their way to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. They checked in, unpacked ate dinner and went to bed early to get enough rest for the next day.
*7:00 the next morning*
"All right, everybody up!" Morgan sang as she jumped from bed to bed, effectively waking everyone in the room.
"My love language is quality time together, but not like this, Morguna." Tony groaned as he finally sat up.
Peter was the next to get up.
"Ok, we have to get dressed and get our phones ready to reserve our boarding groups for Rise of The Resistance! I already have the app ready to go!"
"Hold on kiddo, we need breakfast before we go. What do you all want?" Tony asked.
Everyone listed off what they wanted from the room service booklet and soon everyone had eaten and were ready to start the day at Disneyland.
"Ok, let's do our headcount before getting in line. to enter" Pepper called out.
"One."
Tony flashed a peace sign.
"Two."
Rhodey waved.
"Three."
Harley casually dabbed as he sneezed.
"Four."
"FRE SHA VACA DO!" Shuri said gleefully, making Peter and Harley laugh.
"Five."
"It is Wednesday my dudes." Peter began.
Then all the kids joined in, "uuuuuuuUUUUUUAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
"Kids, you can't do that kind of shit here." Tony interrupted. "Ok, six?"
"Watch yo profanity." Morgan said with a grin.
"We have taught her so well." Peter said, wiping away a fake tear.
"Well, we're all here, so lets go." Pepper said, beckoning everyone towards the gate.
As soon as the gates opened and everyone was inside, Peter reserved their boarding group for Rise of the Resistance.
"Sweet, we're boarding group 15, we can go on a couple of rides while we wait for our turn!" He exclaimed excitedly.
"All right, where do we find a map?" Pepper asked.
"We don't need one. I recruited someone to help us around the park." Tony said.
"Wait, who?" Harley asked.
"Well I did some research on who would be the best tour guide for our trip." Tony explained. "I had Fri do a background check before hiring her to help us. She's known for being a encyclopedia of knowledge on the parks and their history. She knows her stuff and was more than willing to help us. Also, she's the granddaughter of one of the original Imagineers, X Atencio, who did the script for the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as the music that plays through both rides."
"So, a legacy of the Imagineers is going to show us around? How cool is that?" Peter asked.
"So when is she coming?" Shuri asked.
"I'm here already." A new voice said.
Everybody turned to look at the new person who had entered the group. It was a young woman who looked to be in her early twenties. She was dressed in the color scheme of Snow White's outfit but in the style of 1950's clothing. Her makeup was also reminiscent of the era of clothing she dressed in.
"Nice to meet you all in person!" She said with a smile. "The name's Sarah Atencio."
She shook everyone's hand and when she got to Morgan, she crouched down to her height so she was at eye level with the young girl.
"I like your outfit miss." Morgan said politely. "Is it supposed to look like Snow White?"
Sarah smiled at her question.
"It is indeed. The outfit I'm wearing is called a Disneybound. Do you know what that is?"
Morgan shook her head no, but still seemed to be interested in what it was.
"No, but it sounds cool." She replied.
"I can teach you all about it later while we wait in line. How does that sound?" She asked.
Morgan smiled shyly and nodded.
Sarah stood up straight and smoothed out her skirt.
"All right, let's get this trip started! Did anyone have a preference in where we go first?"
"Well, I know that Peter would be very interested to go to Batuu. I myself am curious to see what it looks like in person." Shuri piped up. "I also wanted to see the lightsabers they sell here and compare them to the ones I have at home."
"Are we all in agreement?" Sarah asked.
Everyone voiced their agreement or nodded their heads.
"All right, on to Batuu!" Sarah proclaimed.
*Time skip*
"Peter, since you wanted to go to Batuu, do you have your story planned out? Or are you going to improvise?" Sarah asked.
"I already have planned some aspects of my character but I'm still not sure about a couple of things. So I guess both?" He answered.
"Whoa, what do you mean, character? What story?" Harley asked.
Peter turned to look at Harley in disbelief.
"Do you not remember when we had this conversation?" He asked.
"No, why else would I ask?" Harley retorted.
"Ok, basically, Batuu is a trading post and a secret base for the Rebellion and the First Order is looking for them. Everybody who goes there has the possible chance of being stopped by Stormtroopers who are looking for Rebel spies. It's also possible to be stopped and interrogated by Kylo Ren. So if you wanted to be more immersed in the experience, you could come up with a backstory for why you are in Batuu and what side of the war you're on. As for my backstory, I'm a con artist born on Yavin-4 posing as a merchant looking for a place to trade my fake rare materials on the planet. I sell to the First Order and report to the Rebellion with what the First Order is interested in buying and how much of the item. But the thing is, my so called rare materials are so realistic looking, that they fool the First Order. What they are buying is useless and they won't know it until they try actually using it."
"That's more thought out than what I would come up with." Harley said. "I probably would have come up with some idiotic backstory like, 'Oh, I'm the secret child of Luke Skywalker and I have come to take down my cousin and his stupid army of bucket heads.' Something that wouldn't make sense."
"Well, I'll give you points for using SW slang." Peter remarked playfully.
"We're about to arrive at Rise of the Resistance since it is around the time your group should be called. Are we all here?"
"I'll check, we have a system." Pepper said. "One... Two... Three... Four... Five.... WHERE'S MORGAN?!"
Everyone in the group instantly looked around to see where she could have wandered off to.
"Oh no, Fri, please activate the 'Little Feetsies' protocol." Tony said tapping the side of his sun glasses.
"Activating 'Little Feetsies' protocol."She responded.
"Activating what now?" Harley asked.
Instantly, Tony could see the footprints of everyone in their group on the ground. The smallest pair of feet had diverted from the group way back towards the bazaar.
"Everyone follow me." Tony said.
"Is nobody else going to ask why there is a protocol with that name?" Harley asked as everyone else followed Tony.
Everyone in the group followed Tony as he walked the path of Morgan's shoe prints, making sure he didn't accidentally crash into a person in the process.
Eventually, Tony stopped and everyone saw why.
Morgan was standing with Kylo Ren and his Stormtroopers. And she was smiling as she talked with him.
"Well, I guess Morgan has connections to the First Order now." Shuri said, grinning at Peter, who looked slightly jealous. "How does your character feel after seeing a tiny 5 year old with the Supreme Leader wrapped around her little finger?"
Everyone laughed as they watched the duo, who seemed to be devising a way to end the Resistance once and for all.
"Ok, so that's a good way to help your troopers train and be better at ambushing the Resistance. And also try feeding them yummy food so they will be more hardworking. Give them something like, like.... Spaghetti! Or cheeseburgers!" Morgan told the tall and scary looking man.
"The First Order thanks you for your information and loyalty. You will be rewarded." One of the Stormtroopers told her.
"If only my military strategists had ideas as well thought out as yours." Kylo Ren said with interest. "How would you like to become my apprentice? Learn how to fight properly?"
Peter chose that moment to run to Morgan and scoop her up, making her squeal in surprise.
"AIIIIE, Peter, don't do that!" She giggled.
"I'm so sorry if she was bothering you Supreme Leader, she tends to run off and show off her intellect whenever she gets the chance to." Peter said with more confidence than he felt.
"I had hoped that she would become my apprentice. I could train her well, she would live a successful life as my right hand."
Peter laughed a bit nervously before replying.
"She's a bit too young right now. Maybe when she's at least 16 I would let her decide if she still wants to or not."
"How unfortunate. I insist you reconsider." The deep voice of Kylo Ren replied.
"I apologize Supreme Leader, but I must decline. Well, we have somewhere to be very soon, so I believe this is farewell for now."
Peter carried Morgan back to the rest of the group and Morgan waved goodbye to Kylo Ren.
“Morguna, why did you run off without telling us?” Tony asked the young girl.
“We were worried you might have gotten lost, honey.” Pepper added.
“I’m sorry mommy, Kylo Ren asked me to be his right hand!" Morgan said, right off the bat.
Pepper's facial expression was a mix of horrified amusement and Tony was trying very hard not to laugh. Shuri and Harley looked very proud of Morgan for charming Kylo Ren himself. Sarah was just laughing at the whole situation.
"And I told her no, because she is too young." Peter interjected "Besides, you are supposed to be with the Resistance Morgs, what happened to that?"
"She double crossed you is what happened."Harley replied "Betrayed her own brother, who is supposed to be a con artist."
Everyone burst out laughing at that comment and after it died down, they all went to Rise of the Resistance.
NOTE: This is my first fic on Tumblr, and I think I might do more? It depends on if I have time to write, hahaha! Also if you have seen this on Wattpad, don’t panic, this is the same person who has it on there, I am not stealing someone else’s work. I am taking my own writing and putting it on Tumblr. Also, I know that Disneyland is literally on the opposite side of the country for them, but for the sake of me never having gone to Disney World, I used Disneyland instead. Because I know nothing about the parks layout in Florida.

{fancy suits from dad}
Ships: Peter Stark & Tony Stark, Pepper Pots/Tony Stark
Warnings: swearing, just fluff otherwise :)
Wc: 2,319
Here’s the thing, Peter Parker grew up in Stark Tower, which eventually became Avengers Tower of course. So whilst his whole class was buzzing about their field trip, all he could think was, “shit, shit shit.” His dad was going to embarrass the hell out of him. His Aunts and Uncles were going to endlessly tease him.
So, no Peter was not looking forward to the field trip. Not in the slightest. He still wanted to go, though. He knew that the rumors of his internship being fake were started by Flash, the annoying teen. He also knew that Flash had not once said his real name, preferring the name Penis Parker. It didn’t bother him as much as it used to. Also since highschool began, Flash had calmed down with his bullying. Well, maybe Flash hadn’t calmed down and high school was just bigger and he had thicker skin. And a new support system with plenty of people to go to.
Peter had been adopted by the Starks when he was a mere ten years old. At first, he was terrible at receiving any gifts or even too much attention. Slowly but surely, he got more and more used to it. Now, he wouldn’t not know what to do if any of that was taken away. Plus, he really did find a liking for expensive suits, however shallow. He looked good in them, and his father always insisted on buying him more and more. Tony would always find an excuse to spoil the kid a little more, however much Pepper tried to stop him.
“Peter, please see me after class regarding an urgent matter.”
Brough out of his thoughts, Peter swiftly nodded his head.
He looked at the board to see the words from before still written on them, “Field Trip to Stark Industries!” It might as well have said, “Dig Peter Stark’s Grave!”
“So, let’s get started with today’s lesson, graphing imaginary numbers on the complex plane!” He’d done this one a while back with his father. Something about not only learning applicable science and engineering. Peter tapped his glass, and the episode of Arrow he’d been watching on the car ride over began playing. He’d be ever grateful for his father’s gift of EDITH to him. Pepper had tried to ban him from wearing them to school, but hastily gave up when Peter pulled the spiderman danger card.
“Alright, class dismissed. Please remember to do this homework pages 11-18 on this unit’s homework handout.”
Peter, forgetting his teacher's previous request, was very glad to be on his way home. He was one foot out of the door when the teacher called his name. Now, his day had gone pretty well up to that point. Bucky made pancakes for breakfast, which were delicious. There was wayyy less traffic on the way to school. He’d aced an essay and a couple of quizzes, and then he even participated in PE effectively. But alas, all good things had to come to an end.
“Mr. Parker? The discussion.”
“Right,” Peter thought, joining the teacher at his desk.
“Peter, you are truly a great kid. I know you’ve been through a lot recently and in your life, but it is no excuse to make up an internship. We both know that it is not real. Now, acknowledging that you have a bright future, the administration and I have come forward with an offer. If you agree to write an apology, expressing that you understand what you did was wrong and immoral, you will both be allowed to come on the trip and no punishment will be given to you. If you choose to not take this opportunity, you will be banned from the trip and will be chastised.
Peter just stood there, not really comprehending. Apparently Flash’s little rumors were a lot bigger than he anticipated.
“I-i-I’m not lying,” was all he could manage. He had filed all the right paperwork and proved his internship.
“I’m sorry to hear that you will not come forward with the truth. You have up until the day before the trip to hand in the letter if you change your mind. Goodbye Peter.”
Peter just let his legs take him out of the classroom, then out of the school, and then to the road, a couple blocks away, where his dad picks him up from.
“Hello mini-me.”
“Hey,” Peter said, jumping into the passenger seat.
“‘Hi Dad, thanks so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to pick me up each and every day. Sick new car by the way! I’d love to drive it sometime!”
Peter just rolled his eyes with a smile, “Car looks great dad. McLarren’s are superior yet.”
“Ungrateful, so so ungrateful. What’s got you in a mood then?”
“Nothin,” Peter said, pulling out his phone.
“Oh come on, tell me. Tell me or I’ll call Ted.”
“Ned, Dad. We’ve been friends for like three years.”
“Not the point.”
“Just something at school.”
“Wow how very descriptive. You know I’m trying to do the whole feelings thing here, and you should appreciate that coming from my emotionally stunted self.”
“You’re so dramatic. Basically we’re having a field trip to your tower, and I’m not allowed to go because the teacher doesn’t think I really have an “internship.” Which, to be fair I don’t but that’s on you and not me.”
“Nah na na. I offered you an internship, and you said I’d be bored.”
“It would be. Doing a project for your company under strict supervision of some person would be sucky. I mean I can do anything I want from the lab you built me.”
“I know, but remember technically you are my intern. Remember we did that whole personal intern bullshit for the school.”
“Oh right. Is that why you keep harassing me about submitting all my completed projects.”
“No, that’s all your mother. Something about not wanting a lawsuit over a fake internship.”
“Make sense. She tends to be a lot smarter than you.”
“Ah, I feel so attacked. The abuse I suffer.”
“You’re terrible.”
“I am internally crying, kid. Sobbing.”
“Shut up,” we laughed.
“Who’s home?”
“You saw Buck and Sam this morning. Nat and Steve came back from their mission this afternoon. Thor and Loki are back for dinner tonight.. Strange might be coming round, not sure though. Cliff and the family aren’t back for at least a couple weeks. Oh and Bruce is wholed up in his lab as usual.”
“Shit. Everyone staying till the end of the week.”
“Yeah, oh the field trip. You’re screwed. You should have not told me.”
“Ughhhhh!!!”
“I love your life Petey.”
Peter walked into the kitchen and saw Steve reading a newspaper.
“Uncle Steve! Your back!” he smiled, dropping his bag off near the sofa. Steve got up to give the smaller boy a hug.
“Yep. Mission completed.”
“Nice. Can you tell me about it?”
“Yeah, it was nothing too interesting. We just needed some more intel into a terrorist organization stationed in the US. Most of the mission was recon. The next steps are being taken in a couple weeks.”
“Good to know there’s an active terrorist organization out there,” Peter said lightly.
Steve just smiled, not quite understanding the modern humor.
“Where is everyone else?” he said, realizing the living room was not in it’s normal chaotic state that he’d come to love. The chaos was his favorite reminder that he had so many people. He liked having lots of people, even after all this time.
“Nat and Buck are training, they invited you to join if you want. Bruce is in his lab, and dont worry he slept and ate last night. Not sure about the rest.”
“Right, thanks. I think I’m going to go train.”
Before he knew it, it was Friday morning, and his school was coming to his home. He was going to try very hard to ignore them. To do so, he asked his mum to let him sit in on some meetings. He had an easy in to the R&D and mechanical side of the company via the other interns. He was actually planning on hanging out with some of the “other” interns later that day. They were always happy to let Pete in on their projects and let him give them a hand. But he was always interested in getting more detail about the business side of the company, and he liked to get a window into it. Pepper was always happy to show her son the ropes. I mean he was heir to the company after all, even if he didn’t know yet.
He asked his mum to only schedule meetings after 12 as he requested a sleep in. Pepper was always happy when Peter slept as he was a little too much like his father. So, he woke bright and early at 11:00 o’clock.
After a scroll through his phone and a quick shower, he was ready to pull on his far too expensive Brunellio’s custom suit. It was one of his favorites. His father had got it custom made when he was in Italy, and told him he simply could not resist getting one for the kid. Pepper just smiled.
He had a large breakfast (enhanced metabolism) and headed towards the 34th floor where his first meeting was located. He’d been shadowing his mum for almost a year now whenever it was convenient, so he had the rointine down. He was almost sure he could take over a few of her meetings.
“Hi honey,” Pepper said, giving the boy a quick kiss on the cheek on the way to her own chair beside him. Peter blushed before resuming his professional posture and facial expression.
“Good morning everyone, as you can see Peter will be joining us today. I want to talk about some of the services we provide for our employees and their feedback. I’m aware we have a large portion to talk about so Kendra please take it away on that front.”
The first meeting went smoothly as planned. It was a discussion on the progress of the internal services, aka the IT department. Peter hadn’t learned much about their IT department, so it was good to listen in to. Pre these meetings, he, of course, does research into the background stuff, so he’s not completely lost. Pepper’s assistant usually provides him with a packet of info about the Stark Industries side of things. He is also given a list of key words and concepts he might want to make sure he understands. The research is fun for him, it makes him feel all professional.
Usually he spoke during the meetings, asking a couple questions and suggesting some ideas, but for this one he just learned and took in. The next meeting, however, was very much so his field. He’d spoken a lot with advertising, becoming very interested in the data analysis behind it. He even took a stats class so he could keep up. In that one he asked questions Pepper was on the verge of asking twice. He also contributed to the analysis of data once. Pepper usually liked him to participate as it was good for him, but he always felt bad suggesting stuff to the senior adults. He usually spoke to his mum or dad about projects for the company, preferring that.
They hung back in the room of the second meeting.
“Good job in this one Pete. Took two questions right off my tongue.”
“Thanks ma,” he said, always appreciating some approval.
“That’s all I’ve got for you today, kid. Rest of the stuff is, ya know.”
“Course. Thanks for these two. It was good to learn about internal affairs a bit more. Have a gap of knowledge there.”
“Yeah. Was that the first time meeting our CIT?”
“I believe so.”
“Well, next time we have a broader IA meeting, I’ll pull you outta school,” Pepper suggested.
“Really? That’d be epic.”
“Course, hun. Jarvis, sort that out please.”
“Of course Mrs. Potts.”
“Thanks J,” Peter yelled.
“Anytime mini-boss. No need to disturb the entire floor.”
“Are AI supposed to be so snarky?”
“Dad programmed it, what else would it be?”
“Valid point.”
“Right, got to run. See you later.”
“Bye, love you mum!”
“Love you too, Pete.”
“Jarvis, could you send me the tour plan for the visiting tour today?”
“Absolutely, sir. They’re on your phone now.”
“Thanks J.”
Looking at the plans Peter smiled. He had successfully avoided them the entire day. It said they were supposed to head back to school at 2:30, and it was about to be three. Smile on his face, he trotted down to the lobby to grab a coffee before going to meet Loki at the arcade. Don’t judge them, it was their thing. Taking the private lift down, and then walking straight to the coffee stand and ordering.
“Mr. Parker!” he heard the angry voice of his teacher, “How dare you show up here aft-”
Shit. shit. Shit.
“Edith, call dad, and tell him it’s urgent in the lobby.”
“Of course Peter.”
“Peter, are you listening to me! You are going to face extreme consequences for this.”
“Your coffee,” the man said, not realizing it was Peter, level ten personal of the tower, that was being yelled at.
“Thanks.”
“How dare you get coffee! In this building! Security!”
Tony arrived spotting his son instantly.
“Kid this best be impor- I see.”
“Hey Mr. Stark,” Peter said weakly.
“Mr. Harrington is it? Please stop harassing my intern.”
“H-he, he is y-your intern?”
“Yes. My favorite. Please exit the building and never question him again. You will be hearing from me.”
Let’s just say, Monday was an interesting day. At least Flash backed off, he was definitely an intern at SI, and no one embarrassed him on the trip.

Irondad fic ideas #20
Peter gets hurt. Bad. Once he's finally released from medical, he still has to be observed, so it's decided that he'll stay with Tony at the tower under the constant watch of FRIDAY. He ends up following Tony around, though, because his dad mentor is a paranoid bastard man with capital-a Anxiety. No one remembers to tell either of them that today is bring your kid to work day.
Bonus:
Peter is great with kids and ends up entertaining a few of them during something boring. When an adult approaches and asks who he's with, he gestures to Tony.
All of SI is surprised but immediately assumes they're supposed to just keep this on the downlow. Tony's actions and words all day with Peter do absolutely nothing to discourage the idea that this is his son.
When the two finally realize what's been going on, we get that beautiful moment where Tony doesn't seem to mind.
(Even better if Peter then has to convince Tony that he also doesn't mind.)

Christmas lights (Tony x Pepper)
Imagine, Pepper has gone into town to do the last of the Christmas shopping while Tony takes care of Morgan and decorates the house with her. While she's gone, Tony has finished putting up all the outdoor lights and placing candles along the path. When Pepper comes homes, she walks through the exterior door in the snow with all her packages in her arms, and everything suddenly lights up before her eyes. Everything sparkles and Tony appears in the doorway smiling at her. Pepper looks at him with a surprised and amazed expression. Tony opens his arms wide as if to say "tada!" Pepper laughs and continues to look around in amazement. She tells him how beautiful and amazing it all is. Tony runs to her, helps her with the packages, and they both return to the comfort and warmth of the fireplace of the house and their family.
