Could you tell us some more about the Legend of Izuku AU? I just watched Avatar and I’m craving content lol

(I love your AU’s so much, your posts make my day!!)

I don't really know where to start when talking about this au cause there's just SO much I could talk about.

But let me talk a little bit about the sun warriors. In atla it is mentioned that fire is a very spiritual element. Sure it is destructive but it is also warmth, it is very much the soul of fire. Like sunlight.

Being that fire is a spiritual element and the sun warriors are a very spiritual people a good majority are benders.

Which makes it very strange that Izuku can't fire bend. He is one of the MOST spiritual people in the village and is set on the course of becoming their spiritual leader, he can even see the spirits and enter the spirit world without a gate if he chooses. But he can't fire bend.

Most of the village think it's because Izuku was fathered by someone outside of the village. And it is rumored that maybe his father is an air bender but nobody's confirmed it with Inko.

It's also one of the reasons he is sent to an air temple on a spiritual journey.

Also continuing form the last comic(I'll probably continue doing more of the comic)

Izuku is absolutely thinking "mom's definitely going to be talking about me, I just know it..."

Well, about the Avatar ask I sent you, maybe a few things could help.

I think Legoshi would not be a bender or from any of the four bation, but be a spirit.

Izuku would be a nonbender and be from the Fire Nation. He would be part of Zuko's crew.

Levi would be from the Earth Kingdom. I don't know about bending, but I think he should be at the wall of Ba Sing Se. (Get it? Lol)

Nanase and Katsuki should be Water Tribe as they are swimmers and ice skaters, respectively.

I'm still trying to write down the roles for my A:TLA au, but here what I have!

Synopsis: Each one of the 40, except for Korra, live as normal citizens within the Avatar world. But what the Fire Nation doesn’t know was that not all of the air benders were killed, some went into hiding after hearing the whispers of the Fire Nation planning to kill them all. This resulted in a few more air benders being born, leading to a chain of events where more people, and spirits alike, are much more involved with the story of the Avatar

AU Ask Game

1.) Fire Nation Airbender!Izuku. How does Izuku handle the finding out about the sheer depth of the lying propaganda he has been fed? Specifically, seeing warcrimes the Fire Nation commits firsthand (a la Zuko Alone). Especially if his father was a Fire Nation

2.) Aizuku AU. Is Shirakumo a Soul Reaper, and if so, how’s he handling things? Especially if he ends up around Aizawa and Hizashi.

3.) Homeroom Teacher Nighteye. If Izuku isn’t transferred out of Nighteye’s class and thus decides to join Shiggy, how does that ultimately go? Does anyone in 1-A join him? How does Bakugo react? Does All Might blame Nighteye?

4.) Midoriya Tenko. How does the media react to the revelation of who this universe’s Shigaraki is? Does Endeavor remain a hero, or is he forced to resign in scandal? And where’s Dabi during all of this?

Airbender Izuku AU

In this verse he grew up in the capital and even went to one of the Fire Nation schools, so he was deep in it; especially when it came to the history of the Air Nomad Genocide and that it was Sozin who had no choice but to take out the Air Nation's Armies. So when he discovers his bending and is forced to run away, he is devastated when he realizes just how wrong it was.

Because Izuku was revealed to be an airbender and ran away instead of facing justice for his "crimes" his parents were made to face the crimes in his stead. Hisashi was executed while Inko was sent to a work camp. Whether she survives to the end of the war or not depends, it's very likely that she will be rescued.

Out of everyone in his squad, Bakugou was the one taken completely off-guard. Here they thought Izuku was just a non-bender, destined to remain as a foot soldier while Bakugou would go on to become a general or even an admiral. Now he gets pulled into a team dedicated to hunting Izuku, until he eventually gets recruited by Azula herself when Izuku inevitably joins Team Avatar.

Aang is super excited when he meets Izuku. He talks about everything he can teach. Just because Aang is still, in his mind, twelve doesn't mean he won't use his actual age to declare seniority over his new student. This amuses Katara while Sokka is a little wary, because Izuku did grow up in the heart of the Fire Nation.

Things get extra awkward when Zuko joins the team.

Aizuku AU

Yes, Shirakumo is a Soul Reaper here. It's actually funny, he technically became a Soul Reaper far faster than an ordinary Plus as it only took him about a year after his death to become a Soul Reaper. It was his drive to protect those he cares about, the ones he bound his Chain of Fate to, that allowed him to become one when his chain inevitably broke.

Ironically, Shirakumo was actually brought into the Fifth Division of the Gotei 13, under Captain Hirako Shinji. He hopes to one day master Hollowification and become a Visored like his Captain.

For a few years he was actually handling things pretty well. Even got the chance to go down in secret to see how his old friends were doing, though he sometimes regrets dying the way he did with how Aizawa handled it. Sometimes he curses at his old (boy)friend for being unnecessarily harsh on his students.

Unfortunately whenever he's in the Living World, he feels a tug on his soul. This is how he found out what happened to his body, and he is not happy with this at all. Unfortunately, he is not allowed to attack those of the Living World, only Hollows.

However, he soon finds a loophole on what to do with All for One~

Homeroom Teacher Nighteye AU; Bad Ending Edition

It goes absolutely horribly, for all except Tomura and Izuku.

All Might definitely blames Nighteye, but he also blames himself. In this verse, he would have regretted not fighting to get Nighteye out of UA sooner. He regrets not communicating with his successor better, regrets not seeing the signs. In a twist of fate, All Might himself decides to leave UA completely to find his student and either bring him to a better school...or join him.

Bakugou physically attacked Nighteye. For most of his time he held himself back because he figured Izuku would have found a way to brush off Nighteye's words, or that someone would step in. He knew it wouldn't be appropriate if he himself stepped in, because of his complicated history with Izuku. He doesn't care if he gets expelled for punching out a teacher, the bastard had it coming.

Kirishima, Mina, Kaminari, Momo, and Tokoyami all follow Izuku. At that point, after seeing first-hand how horrible Nighteye could be, they lost all faith in UA and vowed to help Izuku in whatever way they can.

Just like in the planned ending for the actual fic, Nighteye gets fired and Tomura gets his hands on him. On the bright side- Tomura does not get the AfO Quirk because Izuku flat out says "Hey, this seems like a bad idea."

Midoriya Tenko

The media are appalled, to the point where they demand Endeavor resign. They don't care what everyone else says, this man drove his own child into villainy!

Dabi is in complete shock at that dramatic reveal. He did not know who Shigaraki really was, and now that he knows who it is...he actually does a fucking heel-face-turn and joins the Heroes because "Surely this means Dad will know his mistake and want me back!"

Endeavor stays a Hero, though he is on thin ice with the public. It's to the point where he only appears to take down villains and doesn't bother with interacting with anyone else. He even buys a small apartment for himself so people will quit going to his house to harass his family.

Tenko and Izuku both come to Endeavor's defense, hoping to remind the people of his actions as a Hero and how his personal life should not impact his work. Especially with all the lives he has saved, and all the ways he helped them both.

All for One is very pleased with how this reveal went down, even while stuck in Tartarus.

They're not supposed to be friends. Katsuki is the next ruler of his people -- the prince of the Fire Nation. He's lauded as one of the strongest fire benders ever born, and hailed as the future of the Nation.

They're not supposed to be friends.

Izuku is a monastery brat -- an air bender apprentice that can whip air like bullets and crack it like lightning. He's intelligent and friendly, with the biggest green eyes Katsuki has ever seen and a head of wild green curls to match. When Katsuki sneers, he smiles back -- calls him Kacchan and lets insults roll off him like water off a turtleduck's back.

They're not supposed to be friends.

Hell, Izuku isn't even staying. He's passing through with his Master, a skeletal blonde man who knows Katsuki's father and considers him a close friend. While they tuck themselves away, drinking tea and catching up, Katsuki is left to be Izuku's entertainment. He has so many better things to do with his time, and yet he's escorting the young monk-in-training around the local bazaar, showing him wonders he's never seen before.

They're not supposed to be friends.

They aren't, but Katsuki still sneaks into Izuku's room at night, smuggling scrolls with him from the library. They huddle together, ancient pages illuminated by Katsuki's fire so they can read side by side with their shoulders touching. Izuku is voracious when it comes to knowledge. He absorbs it like a sponge and desperately seeks out more with a hunger Katsuki has never seen before.

They're not supposed to be friends, but Izuku is the only one who seems to be able to go toe-to-toe with Katsuki when they spar. He's fast, and strong, and Katsuki barely wins. It's the most thrilling fight he's ever experienced, and he's as hungry for more as Izuku is for reading.

They're not supposed to be friends, but they become friends anyway. And when Izuku finally leaves, giving him a sad smile and a quiet, subdued bye, Kacchan before he's gone, Katsuki feels like he's lost something a lot more potent than simply friendship.

… I had a funny thought about Kaminari technically being a fire bender in the atla world and it spiralled out of control

(I’m sure you could make arguments for certain characters to be on this list, like Gentle Criminal being an air bender or Shindo being an Earth bender, but I tried to stick to characters with abilities tied to a specific element, rather than a quirk that could be used on any element if they chose to do so)

Izuku is the Avatar after Nana Shimura, an air nomad who is killed in battle by Fire Lord AfO (Shigaraki here)

The Problem he faces is he’s the second prince of the Fire kingdom. He doesn’t discover he has bending powers until he is 14 years old. He was previously believed to be a nonbender and therefore not the kingdom’s heir.

Izuku is captured by Air Nomad and Renegade Toshinori, who, after he discovers his teacher’s successor is the young man, takes him on a journey to learn all four elements and bring peace back to the kingdoms. Also dadmight, just lots of dadmight.

Izuku is looked down on by many of the Fire kingdom elite because he has green eyes, a trait he inherited from his earth kingdom mother. It is the second element he masters after air.

Izuku makes friends with those he meets on his travels, though the people who go with him on his adventure through the kingdoms are Bakugou (childhood friend/bully/friend again who got kidnapped with him), Todoroki todoroki (rare fire/water bender with renegade leader Enji as his father), Iida (air nomad who resolves to follow the avatar to prove his worth), and Ururaka (an earthbender who wants to bring money home for her poor family). Toshinori wonders if this is mission isn’t more like a school field trip, with him at the helm and most responsible one.

Air - Izuku's air bending teacher starts out as Ochako after Izuku heads out on his journey of self discovery. Izuku wants to keep it a secret since he's not fully convinced (he's in denial) and Ochako just thinks Izuku is a stray air bender born in an all fire bending village and is too ashamed to admit he's not a fire bender. but then Torino catches them and decides to train him for the remainder of his stay since Ochako is yet to be a master herself.

but they get into a dangerous situation and Izuku goes into the avatar state to save Ochako and Torino realizes the gravity of the situation. and sends Ochako to travel with Izuku to continue his training knowing better than anyone that it may not be safe for the identity of the avatar to be made public.

Water - after leaving the air temple, Izuku, Ochako and Shoto(who joined along the way) make it to the northern water tribe. where they meet Rei, Shoto's mother. Rei had run away from a forced marriage unfortunately having to leave her children behind due to her not being able to fight for them as she was only a healer at the time. but in the years since she has become a master bender and when Izuku reunites her with her youngest son she happily takes him on as her student. she suggests Tenya to join them when they leave not only to continue training Izuku but to broaden his horizons. Aizawa tags along.

Earth - the gang meet Kirishima who is a young earth bender who joins them in hopes of finding a master himself. Kirishima is a great bender himself but lacks belief in himself so he teaches Izuku a little here and there but kinda undermines his lessons due to his insecurities. however when they meet master Taishiro, he helps Kirishima push through his boundaries, and teaches both him and Izuku before letting Kirishima take the reins.

Whenever people talk about Izuku's hypothetical quirk marriage (Fire Breathing x Attraction), they always seem to zero in on the "FIRE + TELEKINESIS" part and never the "Breathing + Attract" aspect, which seems way more accurate to the parent quirks. If we think of it this way, its not going to be Pyrokinesis. It's going to be something like a Vacuum quirk that sucks in air to the user's mouth... or a quirk that attracts heat - with mild fire resistance, given fire breathing would have that too

(Part 2) Both vacuum and heat attraction make great quirks for rescue. I bet there's even a fireman in Tokyo or Musutafu Fire Department in that universe that actually does have a heat resistance quirk. That could've been Izuku in another universe. I'm always dumbfounded when people think "Pyrokinesis" hurr durr. Like oh my god stop with your Fire Bender headcanons, fandom

It's funny you mention that because that's pretty much my exact thought process when coming up with a Quirk Marriage about his parents.

While I wouldn't phrase it like that, people are more then welcome to have different interpretations, I get where you're coming from. The idea of Izuku getting a full on fire controlling Quirk is pretty farfetched, even with how varied Quirk combinations can be. I get that Quirks can become more powerful with each generation, but it doesn't seem like a logical progression from his parents. At least Katsuki's parents' Quirks had a lot of crossover with how their powers worked. My only guess is that it's an attempt at giving Izuku a more interesting power. If that's the case, just give him a more powerful version of those ideas, like "Heat Sink" or "Burning Hands".

Summary: Keigo was injured and you couldn’t help but stay by his side during the War, helping to protect the camp he and other injured heroes were in. Tokoyami stood by your side, making sure that both you and Keigo were okay. Reminiscing over things he did in the past, will you be able to take him home?

A/N: This isn’t edited much, I just wanted to give you guys another small Drabble before I publish one of my long AU one shots that I’m still planning. I’m actually planning two, A Royalty AU with you and Izuku (but you and Izuku aren’t really royalty) and a Greek Mythology AU with Katsuki. (I told you guys about this one before 😅) Enjoy my small Drabble of Hawks!

Your eyes burned from all the crying. Tokoyami pulled a blanket over your shoulders as you continued to stay by his side. You held Keigo’s hand and squeezed, hoping for a response from the unconscious man.

“H/n, he’s going to be okay… he’ll bounce back from this,” Tokoyami told you but even he didn’t sound like he believed his own words.

Your body started trembling once again and you folded in yourself and held your head as your body started shaking with sobs once again. It was the third time you were crying. And you don’t know why.

There were multiple times you were in the hospital together, whether it was you on the bed or it was him there. It usually was a normal thing considering the two of you were proheros in a relationship. Although the world didn’t know if your relationship except for Tokoyami, walking in on you guys kissing one time. He promised not to tell your secret and he made good on it too.

He’s honestly like the little brother you and Hawks never had.

You sniffed before rising up from your bender position and glazed over Hawks unconscious, burnt body. His back wrapped up in bandages and his hair was still slightly singed from the attack. He had bandages not just on his back and his all over his upper body but had some wrapped around his head. It was covering his left eye as well.

“Hey,” your voice was hoarse, and it even cracked but you immediately got Tokoyami’s attention. This being the first time you’ve coherently said a word.

“You remember when,” you sniffed, “when Keigo tried to impress me while you were there, singin Blue Hour lyrics to us while flying really fast in the air,” you couldn’t help but let out a laugh when you thought of what happened next.

“And he landed back first into the glass skyscraper?” Tokoyami’s voice was filled with laughter and he even let out a small chuckle.

You smiled and nodded before reaching out stroking his crispy hair.

“He’s such a goofball sometimes, I love it.” You smiled, pushing his hair out of his face.

“I love him,” you said.

You blinked away the tears you felt coming through again. You started breathing slowly but heavily to try and control your tears again. You felt Tokoyami’s hand at your back, stroking up and down to comfort you. You smiled at the gesture, moving your hand from his hair to caressing his face.

“I can’t lose him Tokoyami. Not after everything we’ve been through, after everything we’ve built together. I can’t, I don’t know if I could survive this life without him.”

You were crying but you weren’t sobbing, the tears just falling down your face.

That’s when the announcement came in…

WARNING, THE CAMP HAS BEEN BREACHED! WARNING, THERE ARE VILLAINS INFILTRATING THE CAMP!

You looked over at Tokoyami. You nodded before throwing off your blanket and cracking your knuckles and all your joints.

“Go to the front lines, I’ll stay here and help protect those who can’t protect themselves right now!”

Tokoyami nodded and told you to be careful, before summoning Dark Shadow and quickly going to the front lines to help. You took a deep breath before hearing the doors behind you earth to be broken down. They surrounded the building huh? You looked down at your boyfriend and smiled.

“Don’t worry baby,” you turned back to look at the villains who had just broken down the doors.

“I’ll get you back home safe and sound.”

Summoning lighting from your hands, you made sure to start stunning anyone who wasn't another hero helping or a nurse trying to move hurt people out the way. Someone had gotten close to a patient that hasn’t been moved yet and you quickly zapped over here and K.O’D him. His body falling caused him to knock into another villain and put him out of commission.

You continued fighting with all your might, taking quick glances over to Keigo making sure no one was getting close to him. Soon enough, another nurse came and carried his body out of the room into a safer place. With that, you were able to finally let loose. You had the other heroes escort the nurses and said you’ll finish up here.

Once they were gone, you bent down and touched the ground before smirking at the remaining Villains, who were looking at you apprehensively.

“Voltage! Storm of 1.2 million!” And with your ultimate move and taking up the last of your strength. You defeated the rest of the villains that infiltrated the room. The room was filled with smoke from your attack and most of the things were burnt to a crisp from all the lightning you let out. You smiled as you sighed in relief, you did it. You protected Keigo.

You saw black spots appear in your eyes that were slowly getting bigger as you fell to your knees. You caught yourself on your hands before falling flat in your face. Your vision was fading and your body shaking, you smiled as your arms let out and your body fell flat in the ground.

“Told you, I’d get you back home.”

In the fading background, you could hear a voice calling out to something. You think he said your name, you weren’t really listening. All you could hear was buzzing in your ears and that familiar voice calling your name. Like he wanted you to go.

Keigo…

You were falling asleep when you felt your body shake, and it was being shaken roughly. You blinks your eyes open, glaring at the light above you. Soon enough, a shadow towered above you and you blinked as the person’s image blurred before focusing on the person above you.

Tokoyami?

He looked down at you and smiled, and said something but you couldn’t hear him. Your ears were still ringing way too loud. Tokoyami noticed that you weren’t responding and staring heavily at his lips. He realized that you can’t hear him as a result of your quirk and just lifted your aching body up. Your head lobbed to the side and you got to see the potential being set up in new rooms, you smiled inwardly before feeling your body being placed on a mat. You smiled as you could finally relax and get some rest.

Your eyes started feeling heavy and your blinks became slower as sleep tried to pull you in once more. You turned your head to the side once again and looked at the person laying beside you.

Only to find a golden familiar eye looking back at you.

You tried to sit up but your body didn’t respond and your fighting spirit to finally see him awake was no match for the toll you put your body as your quirk through. Keigo could tell that you were struggling and gave you a half smile before mouthing something at you. You narrowed your eyes and focused on them.

“Sleep,” he said, “don’t worry, you’re gonna be able to take me home.”

And with that, your blinks became too heavy but you smile was unwavering. You welcomed the sleep that was calling your name.

He’s awake and alive and that’s all I need.

You didn’t say anything about a crush or anything so imma use this prompt for a fic later 😭 and I’m gonna start this with a blurb since you referred to the earth bender arena, and then their reactions cause that makes the most sense to my 3 brain cells.

A large dust cloud was seen as you entered the attack, when it settled you were finally visible. In the middle of the decimation, you stood in a squat position with your bare heals in the ground. When he looked over, he recognized your costume. He’d never seen you in person or worked with you in his recent career but (H/N) was a well known name among the new hero’s. He knew a bit about your quirk sure, but seeing you standing in the middle of the carnage threw him of a loop.

With the slightest movement of your feet, buildings and rubble started moving as if it were alive. You stomped and thick discs of earth popped up from the ground in front of you before flicking your wrists and sending them flying, knocking out villains one after another. Civilians, he had no idea were still on the battlefield, started appearing on earthly platforms that whisked them to the temporary med station.

When they were all out of harms way there was a soft chuckle that echoed from where you stood. After taking down the villain he was in the middle of fighting he watched in awe as you movements became quicker and more decisive. Thick stone wall grew from the earth protecting the undamaged buildings, your back was to him when a stone took out a villain behind him. Like a wave: earth, cement, and stone of the city rushed the enemy and knocked them all out in one fell swoop.

Cheering was heard from all around when other hero’s, including you, started to collect the unconscious bodies of the attackers. Surprise was written all over his face at the raw power you possessed:

Todoroki Shoto:

He’s surprised someone like you was unheard of until becoming a pro

Thoroughly impressed

He can’t get the image of the shockwave you sent through the already destroyed area out of his head

Even more impressed when he sees you pull the earthly walls back into the ground like it was nothing

When he goes to thank you for your hard work you notes how you don’t look directly at him when you respond

When you feel his confusion you look up in his general direction

Shock sets in as he realizes you’re actually blind

A smirk grows on your face

He’s even more impressed at your skills

Astounded that you managed to identify the difference between hero’s, villains and civilians with your quirk alone

Would love to train with you as someone also with an elemental quirk

Fascinated about your fighting style

Would ask for tips on enhancing his own fighting style

Would definitely try and get your agency to work with his

Would be a little pissed

Feels like you got all the credit even though you showed up late in the fight

Would stomp up to you and ask

“And what the hell took you so long??”

You’d just glance up at him

The thick fog in your eyes would make him feel like an asshole

His frustration would start to fizzle

“Well, it’s not like I can read text messages” You’d snort

After his frustration subsided he’d find himself impressed

He’d be awe struck as such raw power came from someone who was blind

He’d rescan the area and realize that the only damage to the city was caused before you even arrived

Would click his tongue a bit in frustration as you lowered thick stone walls to reveal totally undamaged buildings/property

Kind of feels like a hero excited kid again watching you use your quirk to help clear rubble

Wants to spar with you so bad

Would never admit that

Would feel a little violated when he finds out you can literally feel his emotions

Would never admit that he didn’t stop his agency from trying to team up with yours

Thinks your quirk would be great to work with cause you could play damage control while he went wild

Lives for the fact that you’re just as rough around the edges as him
