Despite Everything (Loki X Twin!Brother!Reader) *PLATONIC
Characters: Loki X Twin!Brother!Reader
Universe: Marvel, Avengers
Warnings: Spoilers to Thor & beginning of Avengers, mention of death, and mourning.
Request:💚💚Hey! I dont ask for requests very often so Im sorry if this is bad. But I was wondering if you could do a Loki request? Like where the reader is Loki's twin brother and him and Loki are super close (reader and Thor are close too but not like reader and Loki close), but when Loki fell into the void (in the first Thor movie) reader got real depressed and went out to find him only for Thor to find reader to tell him Loki is planning on attacking New York.Reader goes with Thor to stop Loki and meets all the Avengers. And instead of Loki him destroying New York he snaps out of Thanos's mind control and feels super remorseful. Maybe even incoorperate that they're Frost Giants somehow, too?
Tumblr media
Your earliest memory was that of being with your twin brother. You were extremely young at the time, and being mischievous, had snuck away from your mother to explore, and gotten lost. Loki was more confident than you, or at least pretended to be, so he had took up holding your hand and pulling you through the vast hallways for a sign of anyone, while you got yourself worked up and cried quietly, though the entire time, he kept reassuring you. “Don’t worry Y/N! There’s people everywhere, we’ll find someone soon, or they’ll find us!” He was right in the end, hearing Odin’s booming voice calling for you, and you followed it till you were saw him, sprinting and running to him and hugging his legs, even as he scorned you for scaring your mother senseless. Thor teased you both relentlessly about the incident for over 100 years.
That dynamic has really not changed, even hundreds of years later. Loki came up with something mischievous, and with very little convincing you would join him on these shenanigans, things happened, and you would talk about it years later, sometime Thor laughing at it, sometimes you and Loki were the ones laughing.
It had been a while since that. A long while.
Everything fell apart when Thor, Loki, and some of your friends went off to Jotunheim without you, since you had been helping your mother with something, starting a second war with the Frost Giants and your elder brother banished to Earth. Due to all that, it took you a while to notice that Loki’s behaviour was odd, even with all the tension, and he didn’t tell you what was wrong when you asked the first time, and before you could ask again, your father had fell into Odin sleep, and after a short conversation with you and Loki and your adamance since he was the more confident out of your two, he became Acting King, with you and your mother helping him at the side.
It wasn’t long after that, that Loki came to you late one night before bed, and admitted what happened at Jotunheim. About his skin turning blue, about confronting your father before his sleep, where he admitted that you and him weren’t his actual children- you were frost giants, abandoned by your own kind, on the dirty, freezing floor, left to die, seperated by a few feet just so you two couldn’t warm each other or find any comfort in each other. Odin had found you both, finding Loki first, before he heard your cries as well, that being how he decided which of you was older. He took you back to Asguard, and raised you with your mother.
It was an incredibly hard pill to swallow, and while you were still coming to terms with it all, the implications, how it affects the rest of your life, Loki was already feeling betrayal, abandoned and backstabbed by those around him and you, the fact that no one had told you two, and there was no plan to do so, and Loki had enough rage for you both.
Unfortunately for you, by the time you understood how far Loki was planning and willing to go, it was already too late. Thor was able to get back to Asgard, a battle broke out, the Bifrost destroyed, and Loki… Loki fell.
The days afterwards were hectic. You felt the eyes on you, expecting you to follow in your brother’s steps, to lash out, to cause havoc. Expecting you to be a monster. Your felt their looks burning into your back, but you never turned to look them in the eye, or address it. You were too devastated to care.
Thor addressed it though.
The first time he confronted a group glaring and whispering as you simply tried to monuever from your room to see your mother was a shock for everyone, including you. Thor shamed them for it, pointing out you were in mourning, and so was he, over your brother, even if he did make mistakes. Thor’s voice easily carries in the hallways, so everyone in the radius heard, and the word spread quickly that he wasn’t standing for you to be disrespected. After the dressing down he gave, he took your shoulder and led you to where you needed to go.
A few days later, no one dared stare, or whisper, especially with Thor always nearby like a guard dog. After weeks, Thor’s presence wasn’t needed to ensure you were left be, but he still remained close, assuring you that despite everything, you are still his brother. Loki is still his brother, and you both are family to him. He got you to open up to him about what Loki shared with you, what you had felt after he had told you, and how you think Loki was feeling, helping you both grapple with why what happened. Thor had a period of blaming himself- that if he hadn’t had been so reckless and pushed Loki to come with him to Jotunheim, or even go at all, none of this would have happened. You tried to convince him that he couldn’t have known, and that he had grown as a person himself since then, thanks to his previous actions. He told you after a few days he had forgiven himself… but you knew Thor. You knew that was a lie, and that Thor was too stubborn to try and let you convince him otherwise on the subject. It was probably why he was really upping the protective older brother act. Guilt.
After months, you found a new norm. You were still a member of the family, assured by your brother, mother and father. Your brother had shown his love and loyalty to you with his actions since the early days. Your mother showed it through her being there for you, reminding you she loved you and calling you her son, and your father showed it by never saying a word about Thor’s adamance and scoldings of people in the kingdom, and even ignoring and interrupting people who tried to bring it up to him, making it clear in his own way that he agreed in Thor’s actions. Fandall, Volstagg, Sif and Hogun, quickly warmed back up to you, practically forcing you to partake in the group’s antics. You still deeply missed Loki, wishing he was here, that things were different, feeling like a part of you was missing, but your friends and family made sure you barely had a moment to be caught up in those feelings. You were finally starting to heal, and learning to cope.
That was, until Thor came to see you one day. The Bifrost had been rebuilt, and he had been sent by Odin to check on things. You had expected him to be gone for a few days, so seeing him back so early was alarming. His face was solemn as well, and he quickly asked for you two to speak alone, which you agreed. As soon as you were, he didn’t hesitate to tell you what was wrong.
“Loki’s alive.” The words were a slap in the face for you. You remained staring at your older brother in disbelief, waiting for him to tell you this was a sick joke, but then you remembered who you were speaking to. Thor wouldn’t do that.
“That’s… not possible. Loki can’t be alive-how? You saw him die-”
“I saw him fall.” He corrected you. “I presumed that meant death for him- we all did. But I was wrong. He’s found his way to Midgard, and he’s got his hand on the Tesseract and he’s causing havoc there. He’s killed over a hundred people so far, and I’m now working with a group to try and stop him, and hopefully bring him home alive.” He explained to you.
“Then why are you here?” You asked him with urgency. “What do you need from here? I’ll get it for you- even if father will be angry about it.”
“I need you.” Thor told you, making you stop. “I can’t get through to him. He’s still angry about what happened… but he opened up to you. He’ll listen to you. You’re his twin, his brother by blood.” Thor explained to you. “I need you to come with me to Midgard, and try and talk him down.” He begged. For you, there was no question. No other option.
As soon as you arrived on Midgard, there was a group waiting for you, all of them eyeing you in a way that felt eerily familiar. They were looking at you like how your people used to look at you after… “This is my brother, and Loki’s twin, Y/N. He came to help, so I expect you to be nothing but kind to him, understood?” Thor ordered, making it clear he also noted their looks.
“Sorry if we’re all a bit tense around his family, especially his actual biological family.” One of them commented- a man with a goatee.
“Do you know where he is?” You asked, choosing to ignore the comment.
“Yeah, we managed to lock him in a cell for now.” Another man spoke up, that one in a purple shirt, seeming a little more shy.
“Okay. Take me to him.” You requested.
The way to the Helicarrier had been mostly awkward silence, sometimes interupted by some of the group trying to learn more about you- if you and Loki were actual twins are were just born around the same time and passed off as twins, if you were a Frost Giant as well, where you had been when Loki ‘turned evil’, why you hadn’t turned out the same, though by that point, Thor had finished that conversation immediately with a simple “Enough”, repeating it when someone tried to continue it. When you did arrive on board, you were introduced to another small group of people, Fury, Coulson, Hill- seemingly the ones running everything and who brought this team and Thor together. They asked their own questions- though in a more respectful and reserved tone, their glances to your brother over your shoulder telling you they were being careful not to set him off. After explaining what they hoped for from you- calm him down, get him to back down from his plan, and then have him go with you and Thor back to Asgard with no further incidents where he’d serve a small sentence, but after that, free to live his life- under continual supervision by your family to ensure something like this never happened again. If you couldn’t do that, then it was still up for debate on how he’d be handled. As you saw it, Fury was clearly offering you a way to get your brother back with minimal issues, and you weren’t going to risk it.
“One of us at least is going in there with you- as a neutral party.” Stark spoke up.
“I’ll do it.” Thor immediately spoke up.
“Shouldn’t it be a neutral party? Not a family reunion?” Barton commented.
“Neither’s a good idea.” You spoke up.
“You’re not going in there alone with him, we don’t know you well enough.” Steve told you.
“But I know him. I’ll watch over it all.” Thor argued.
“No! Listen to me!” You snapped. “I know Loki, better than anyone. He keeps his walls entirely up around people. He only told me about our true heritage when he knew for sure we were alone. If anyone else is in that room, he won’t say anything. He won’t cooperate. If anything, it’ll work him up. He’ll probably presume you’ve brought me here against my will and are using me as a pawn to get him to cooperate, which will make him angier. If Thor’s in there, he’ll presume I’m taking sides and betraying him. Let me go in alone, and just… talk to him.” You begged.
“Alright. Fair enough. But we’ll be monitoring from another room nearby, just in case anything happens.” Fury decided, seeming to take almost everyone by surprise, some opening their mouths to protest, before he shot them a look. “Hill, escort him down to the cell.”
Stepping into the room alone was anxiety inducing. As soon as you stepped in, it felt like the room was colder, the hairs on your arms standing up, and your heart began tor race. You glanced back as the door shut behind you, before you turned to look at the large spherical room you stood in, the cell made of glass on all sides in the middle, and inside, your twin brother, staring back at you in shock. “Loki!” You couldn’t help the sigh of relief as you rushed closer to the glass, while he remained still in the centre, staring at you.
“Y/N? How are you- what are you doing here?” He questioned in alarm.
“I came here for you.” You told him. “Thor told me you were alive, and I came immediately. Loki I’ve missed you so much- Thor and Mother as well.” He scoffed at that.
“He missed me? Thor is currently siding with the ones who locked me in here!” He responded, pointing to the door aggressively.
“He’s also advocating for you. He’s also advocated for me.” You told him with urgence.
“Advocating? How has he stood for us?” He questioned.
“He stood up for me after you left!” You snapped, making his expression soften. “Everyone looked at me different after you left. They spoke about me with me right in front of them. The looks they gave me made me want to curl up and die… But Thor didn’t turn his back on me. He confronted those who did, he was right by my side, and he let me grieve in peace… Loki, he stepped up for me, because he’s our brother, and he’s advocating for you now, because he’s our brother. For him, nothing has changed. We’re family, no matter who’s blood we come from.” You explained.
“Is that the whole truth?” He questioned you, his voice a lot calmer, though also sadder, and you nodded.
“Despite everything, you will always have me and Thor, and mother and father. Despite everything, we still have a family, and we still have a home. Please, Loki… come home with me.”
Loki frowned, looking down in shame. “It’s not that easy… The tesseract… It was given to me on an exception, an exception to follow his plan, and if I don’t follow it… he’ll reign hell on me, you, Thor… and everyone else. He has an army, we don’t stand a chance.” He expressed to you.
“Okay… okay. Well, tell me everything you can about this being, and we’ll figure it out, okay? We’ll tell father, and he’ll help, and I’m sure if we give them time to heal and show you’re a changed man and regretful about what happened, so will the Avengers, especially if this being intends to harm their home.” You pointed out, speaking loudly to ensure they heard you, remembering what Fury had stated.
“Y/N… Why are you willing to take on my burden? I put myself in this situation.” Loki questioned.
“If I recall currently, it’s always been your mischievous ideas getting both you in trouble, with me directly by your side. Why would this be any different? And If I remember correctly, Thor was always the one to see the fun in it all, make father be softer on us, and even take the fall for it. When this is all done, we’ll look back and laugh, but for now, let us help you with this nonsense.” You begged. Loki stared at you, pure surprise in his eyes. He wasn’t expecting to see his twin brother here today, he wasn’t expecting to hear that Thor had remained loyal to you back home and caring for you despite his actions, and he wasn’t expecting you to literally beg him to come home- a home you claimed was waiting for him. But the most shocking, was his own change. He never expected himself to change his mind, and switch sides so suddenly.
“Alright… I’ll tell you everything. He’s called Thanos…”
Hope you like it! If you have any questions, please send them in!

Flirty bully coming your way
Summary: Midtown organizes a school trip at Stark Industries' where the one and only Y/N Stark decides to teach a lesson to Peter's bully.
Warnings: none really, just a tiny bit of language

Tumblr media
————————————————————
"May, I'm going! See you later!" Peter yelled from the kitchen, quickly grabbing a toast and running towards the door.
"Pete, school isn't for another hour!" May answered, poking her head out of her bedroom door.
"I know, but we have the school trip today and I don't want to be late." He explained, impatiently biting on his toast as he held the door open, ready to run.
May walked into the kitchen, still in her pajamas, looking at her nephew in amusement.
"Alright honey. Be careful, have fun and tell Y/N I say hi!" She smiled at how excited his nephew was in spite of his regular presence in the tower.
"Will do!" The boy smiled to himself at the only mention of your name.
Another reason, and also the main one, to be excited for this trip was the fact that he'd get to spend a whole day with you. Let's just say that between school, patrolling and choosing to keep your relationship a secret from your father, it was getting harder and rarer for the two of you to have some proper time to yourself.
He knew that the whole school was going to take part in this trip, but that wouldn't stop him from finding you the moment he'd get to his destination.
The moment Peter set foot in the school bus, he recognized the friendly faces of his two best friends.
"Hey!" He smiled walking towards them.
"You excited?" Ned asked, already aware of the answer. Peter nodded energetically as he sat beside his best friend, not able to play it cool the way he had planned.
"Hey Peter," A voice called from behind them. It was of a girl that Peter had seen once or twice around the school and who had taken a seat right next to MJ. "is it true that you have an internship at Stark's?"
"Yeah" Peter smiled shyly, not wanting to drag the attention to himself. "No big deal".
"Have you ever met Iron Man?" The girl asked, her eyes filled with curiosity and amazement.
"Well-" The boy begun to answer but was rudely interrupted by the well-known school bully.
"Obviously not. Do y'all seriously believe all the crap that Penis Parker makes up?" Flash laughed loudly, causing his group to giggle along.
"Just ignore him." MJ whispered as Peter's fists clenched. He decided that it was best if he just turned around.
"For your information, Peter has met Mr. Stark countless times!" Ned stood up to defend his friend, completely blowing off Peter's attempt to keep a low profile.
"Oh really? And do tell us, Parker," Flash continued, not willing to let go the matter. "Did you also have the honor to bring coffee to all the Avengers? Or are you exclusively the dog of Mr. Jerk?"
A whole lot of giggles erupted from the back of the bus, Flash' being the loudest. As the boy teased, he started getting closer and closer to Peter's seat, not risking to miss the expression on his face.
The spider-boy's fist started to clench and his whole body stiffened. "Mr. Stark is a perfectly respectable man." He mumbled.
He remembered quite well the time he found himself saving his bully's life, and he hated that he couldn't bring himself to regret it. He was a hero, after all. The only thing that helped him to keep his calm, together with Ned and MJ's words, was the memory of all the words of adulation Flash used to wash Peter's alter-ego with every day.
"Perhaps you even got to shag that hottie of y/n Stark?" He laughed even harder. "I know I would get her in no time." As the last word left his mouth, Peter couldn't take it anymore. He was used to getting insulted over and over again, but when it came to you he couldn't let it happen.
The chestnut haired boy got up quickly, turning to face his bully who was rather close to his seat.
"How dare you-" As words found their way out of his lips trough gritted teeth, MJ pulled his sleeve signaling that he should let it go.
"Oh, what happened? Penis Parker's crush is out of his league? Well, I'm not surprised. If she's breathing, she's already out of your league." And with that said, almost everyone was laughing.
Luckily enough the driver's voice interrupted their conversation.
"Take your seats in silence, this isn't an amusement park." He scolded grumpily.
"Heard that, Eugene?" MJ mockingly raised her eyebrows as the boy huffed, walking back to his seat.
Peter's eyes were still seeking revenge for all the years of bullying that had piled up, not being able to forget a single insult Flash had ever said to him. But this. Insulting Mr. Stark, insulting you- it was too much.
Ned slowly pulled him down to sit again. MJ's voice got close to Peter's ear, so that she wouldn't be heard by the girl sitting next to her. "You know how much I'd enjoy watching you completely disintegrate that guy but even so, it'd be useless. You'd just get in trouble. You won't prove your point because no matter what, you still can't tell him about..." She paused. "You know."
Peter nodded, breathing slowly to calm himself down and decided to patiently wait until they'd get to their destination. He knew his friend was right, so he put in his earphones to help himself ignore his bully.
—————————————————————
The moment the class walked into the tower, following the far too enthusiastic teacher, the head of Mr. Stark's personal security team was ready to examine their backpacks and bags.
When Peter's turn came, he handed the man his backpack that only contained a sandwich for the day and a few other harmless items. Although, the man didn't take ahold of his bag, instead he looked at the boy and gestured him to pass.
"Don't worry Peter, I know you're clean." The man almost smiled.
"Thanks, Happy." Peter smiled, slightly embarrassed at the thought of the whole school watching. Some of the students who were closer and had witnessed the scene gave Peter a confused look to why Mr Stark's head of security would know someone like Peter Parker.
"Internship." Was all the boy said shrugging slightly, although it came out more as a question than as an explanation.
"Alright, let's move towards the elevator everyone! Mrs Potts herself will say a few words in the theatre in a few minutes!" The teacher announced excitedly, freeing Peter from all the stares.
Everyone made their way to the elevator, getting into the room-sized platform.
"Now, the theatre is floor 25. Or -19. Or maybe it's 44. Oh God, so many buttons!" The man quietly freaked out to himself while the rest of the class chatted about how unreal the experience felt.
"It's on floor 3, Mr Wilson." Peter spoke up. Mr Wilson looked at the boy with a puzzled expression, as if to say 'and how would you know that?'
"Mr. Stark always gathers his interns in the auditorium when he needs to announce something." Peter explained shyly. It was a lie, but no one needed to know that. The teacher sent him a grateful nod, then pressed the button that would lead them to the huge room.
As everyone took a seat, a woman appeared in the middle of the large stage. Starstruck eyes were all Pepper could see from her position, explaining the rules of what can and cannot be touched during the upcoming tour.
"Now, to make sure your experience here gets as pleasant as possible you'll be divided in groups for the tour, each one of which will be guided by a different referee. We'll alternate three groups at the time in each room. As I call your name please step on stage." Pepper started reading from her binder some names, causing several people to climb the stage.
Once everyone was settled into their group, - Peter ending up with both his friends and Flash - Pepper casually added "Alright, now your tutors for the day. For group number one, two and three we have Mr Clinton Barton, Dr Bruce Banner and myself. The following three groups will be following Miss Wanda Maximoff, Mr Stark and Mr Sam Willson. And last but not least, the remaining groups will be guided by Mr Steve Rogers, Miss Natasha Romanoff and Miss y/n Stark."
The moment these words left her mouth, cheers and screams erupted from each group. Not long after, Steve entered the stage followed by the others. The moment girls saw him in his suit, they were all about to rip their hair off, screaming and jumping.
You were sipping your coffee, ready to head on stage once you'd have finished.
After properly introducing himself - not that it was needed - Cap spoke up. "Alright, shall we get star-" But a loud noise cut him off, causing everyone's heads to shoot up toward the now open ceiling.
Iron Man's suit descended slowly from above them, causing Pepper to pinch the bridge of her nose and shake her head in frustration. After placing itself on the ground, the red and golden armor shot open revealing a formally dressed Tony Stark. "Starting without me, are you Cap?"
"You're late." Steve replied in a straight face.
"Forgive me for wanting to make an impression. Grand entrance, ever heard of it?" Tony's voice dripped with sarcasm as he adjusted his tie.
"What a showoff." You exclaimed as you too walked on stage, earning glances and causing loud whispers to rise.
"Alright everybody!" Pepper tried to reinstate order before the situation could worsen. "Let's get started. Stick with your group and your Avenger and...have fun!" She smiled in frustration, sending the groups off to the tour.
—————————————————————
"Hey Cap!" You smiled batting your eyelashes at him the way you always used to do when you needed something. "Looking good today!"
"What do you want y/n?" He playfully rolled his eyes as he waited for the group to tag along.
"You see...I couldn't help but notice that...well, Peter's in your group. I was wandering if maybe we could-"
"Switch?" He completed your question. "Not in a hundred years of life."
"I only have eight more to go then, so you'll be 101." You chuckled, causing him to join in.
"You know what? Alright. But my eyes will be on you two the whole time. And if I see something I don't like, I'm telling Tony."
"Roger that." You smiled excitedly right before hugging him. "Thank you!"
"Now let's go." He giggled as our groups finally came along. You immediately spotted Peter and you sent a quick wink his way after eyeing up and down. You then started leading everyone out.
"Did y/n Stark just wink at you?" Ned asked in disbelief.
"Why are you surprised? I've been talking about her for the past six months, dude." Peter remarked in disbelief.
"I know, I know! It's just- it's real!"
"Wow. Thanks for the trust, man." Peter playfully shook his head in disbelief.
"Don't take this the wrong way but...it's just- she looks so out of you league when you're not in your suit."
"I know." Peter smiled goofily. "She's perfect isn't she?"
"Yeah." Ned nodded, still not able to take his eyes off you. Somehow, you were even more beautiful in real life.
"Man! That's my girl you're drooling over!" Peter whispered then chuckled lightly.
—————————————————————
"And this is where the weapons used to be assembled." You said as you set foot into another room of what used to be a death factory. "Feel free to look around for as much as you'd like. Just- don't touch anything, we really would rather if you didn't blow up." You commented sarcastically, causing Cap to speak up.
He chuckled nervously before sending you a death glare that only made you laugh harder. "She's joking, no one is going to explode…hopefully."
"Anyways, if you have any questions we'll be here." You smile as you watched everyone explore a different part of the room.
"Hey, why don't you let me show you how to actually get a girl?" Flash cockily asked as a smirk played on his face the moment his eyes fell on you.
"Flash, don't." Peter threatened.
"Or what? You'll hurt me?" He challenged in a mocking tone.
"No. But she will."
"Oh please, she's a chick. Watch and learn."
Buzz! Buzz!
Your phone had just gotten a text. You took it out of your pocket and saw it was from Peter.
Pete💘
Flirty bully coming your way...
You
I got this ;)
"I have a question!" An approaching voice caused your head to snap up.
"Yes?" You ask politely as you put your phone away.
That boy must've been Flash, the guy Peter told you about a couple of times. He's a real jerk and Peter's too clever to screw with his strength and powers for someone like that. He knew that if he wanted he could take him out with a touch but Peter grew kind, selfless - and hotter - everyday more, which made you constantly fall more for him, even though you didn't think it was possible.
"Did it hurt when you fell from the sky, angel?" He overconfidently approached you, ready to kiss your hand.
"I can ask my daddy to take you for a fly with his suit and drop you so you feel for it yourself." You snapped with a misleading kind smile before starting to walk by him, leaving an unsatisfied Flash frozen in his tracks.
Before moving onto the next phase of your plan, you leaned to his ear and teasingly whispered "Besides, I've met cuter guys."
You knew that that was a straight up insult to his honor and his ego, and you knew exactly what your next step would be.
"Like who?" He asked, crossing his arms to his chest and raising an eyebrow.
"I dont know, Steve?" You answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world - which it was.
"Thanks, kid!" Cap shouted from across the room, making you giggle lightly. Your move and his response to it confirmed that he, in fact, had his eyes - and ears - on you.
"Don't you need someone more...your age?" He asked flirty, obviously meaning himself.
"Maybe you're right." You smiled mischievously. "There'd be Spiderman..." The moment his alter ego was mentioned, you couldn't help but see Peter's head shoot up in your direction.
"Oh please!" He scoffs. "He's just an arrogant jerk."
At that comment you had to hold yourself back from punching him right in the face - which would have made Nat and Tony proud, for sure.
"You, on the other hand..." You mumbled as your eyebrows shot up. He obviously didn't even get close to get the sarcasm dripping from your words and just winked.
"Well," I continued "when he saved you from that mugging attempt and you kept rambling on about how much of a fan your are, it seemed quite the opposite." You cockily comment while sarcastically inspecting your nails.
"And he's a liar, too." He snapped after a couple of seconds, not being able to think of a comeback fast enough to avoid seeming pathetic.
You sighed, trying to hide the amusement given by the situation. "You're right, he can be a bit or a git sometimes. Plus, he's too cocky and definitely too stubborn." You falsely described the superhero, trying to send any suspect away from Peter. "He's just not my type."
Especially since you knew exactly what your next move would be.
"And what is your type, then?" He asked after gulping loudly, trying to keep his confident attitude up.
"My boyfriend." You spoke, although your words didn't seem to intimidate Flash at all. "He has been working here for just a few months but my father loves him! He is sweet, kind, fun, cute, but I still think he's way out of my league." You chuckled lightly.
"C'mon, I doubt there's someone in this universe who's out of your league." He flirted again. "If you show me a closet or something, I can make you forget about him in no time." He was the one now whispering in your ear. As opposed to the effect that you had on him, though, his flirtatious words did nothing to you.
"I'd never want to forget about him. But thanks...Eugene." You simply replied before turning around, ready to walk away.
"How do you-"
"I'm y/n Stark. I see everything. I know everything." You cockily cut him off, then you swung your hips as you walked towards an amused Cap, who was attentively watching the scene, and a smirking Nat, who held out her fist for you to bump yours against.
"And now?" She asked.
"Now it's time for phase two." You grinned, proud of how everything had gone according to plan and confident in the way you were avenging your boyfriend.
"I'm not sure I like the sound of that." Cap admitted. "Closer than three feet and I'm telling your father."
"You better start heading your way, then." You smiled mischievously, causing Cap to sigh and Net to giggle.
————————————————————
"Didn't go so well, did it?" Flash' friends teased him as his ears had gone red out of embarrassment and anger.
"Told you." Peter muttered as he couldn't help but laugh along.
"Excuse me?" Flash turned around to face the boy, ready - as always - to let his anger out on Peter.
"I told you that you couldn't get her." Peter spoke up as a proud grin found its way on your face.
"And you could, nerd?" He asked as everyone started to laugh along again.
The loud laughs and Peter's clenched fists were your cue: time for phase two. You walked straight up to the group, not having to pretend as a lovestruck smile found its way on your lips.
"Flash!" You called sweetly causing him to turn around, a little taken aback from the sudden change in your mood.
"Realized your mistake, doll?" He teased.
"You never told me you knew Peter!" You exclaimed, completely ignoring his question.
"P-parker?" Flash' tone was filled with anger, embarrassment, jealousy and shock.
"Hey, y-y/n. H-how are you?" Peter stuttered, a little embarrassed by all the attention being on the two of you. His smile caused a blush to take over your cheeks.
"Hey, babe. Is that the Star Wars shirt I gifted you? It looks so good on you!" You cheered confidently as your arms found their way behind the boy's neck.
"Thank-" Before he could get out another syllable he was cut off by your lips on his and, although he was taken aback by the action, it didn't take long for him to melt into the kiss. You brushed your fingers through his chestnut curls, signaling to him that it was alright to pull you closer by the waist.
You could have sworn you heard Flash's jaw hit the floor, or everyone's jaw for that matter.
The kiss quickly came to an end when your father's shouting voice echoed through the room nearby.
"They WHAT?"
Damn you, Cap! You thought.
You chuckled and rested your forehead on Peter's for a second as you sarcastically whispered to him "Glad he caught up after only six months."

Golden retriever and Black cat relationships are great but what about relationships where both people are a mix of both
Super optimistic about some stuff but super pessimistic about other things so the balance each other out, except when they agree so they can be excited or dead together
Case in point

The Runaway Distance Life Of A Little Stark chapter 28: Easy's Never been this hard
Characters & Pairings: Tony Stark & daughter!Reader, Pepper potts & reader. Pepper potts x Tony stark, Bruce Banner, Thor & Tony stark, Thor & tony, bruce banner & tony, Happy hogan, tony stark, Pepper potts, Steve rogers & tony stark, Roberta Rhodey (real marvel character from the mcu comics) & tony stark, Maria hill, Ben parker, may parker & peter parker, lots of characters mentions.
Summary: Tony accepted his daughter's death then goes to the place that she wants to be buried. Warning: Flashback and reunion Co author with: callikc Tag:  @venomsvl  @geeksareunique
From its beginnings as New Amsterdam, all through the years and to its modern day, it was filled with people on the streets desperate to complete their errands of the day. It was certainly called 'the city that never sleeps' for a reason. It had a heart and it had a rhythm, and it was only for just that one day that Tony wished more than anything the city would somehow shut down.
For once it was clear in the skies, not a single gray cloud or speck in sight. At least that made it seem less foreboding.
Tony and Pepper stood in their room, both in black attire. The latter was fixing the former's tie, her eyes focused on the pendant and key that rested on Tony's chest. Once she was finished with the tie, she paused to take in Tony's expression.
It was distant and cold. Sad.
He was still mourning but, much to everybody's relief, he was starting to finally come to terms with your death in the week that had passed since the destruction of his lab. Pepper made sure to prioritize his injury above all else and kept him on a strict rest and wellbeing regime with the help of Bruce and Dr. Cho.
-
It was a few nights before the funeral and Pepper couldn't sleep.
She lay awake in the bed she shared with Tony and busied herself with sorting through digital files and paperwork on the laptop. It was tedious to do at that hour of the night but it was a welcome distraction from the harsh reality of things.
It had been an hour before Tony began to stir next to her. His eyes were shut tight but his other features showed clear panic and fear.
"I'm sorry." He mumbled to himself.
Another nightmare.
"Tony." Pepper whispered, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Tony, wake up."
He responded, but not to her. He continued to mumble things about you, how he wanted to do more and how he should have been faster or quicker and how you lost your entire future because of him.
Pepper placed her laptop on the bedside table and tried to wake him again by using gentle but firm shakes and a slightly raised voice to try and get through.
After some time, it finally worked, and Tony startled awake with labored and shaken breaths.
"Hey." Pepper said softly, making sure he could see her face before he started to panic about his surroundings. "It's okay. You're home."
Tony didn't reply initially and only managed a breathless nod. By the time he finally found his voice again he had processed the surroundings properly.
"I'm sorry." He told Pepper. "Bad dream."
"I know."
"I don't get why I can't stop it."
"It's subconscious. No one can."
"Does it bother you?"
"Never." She smiled lovingly. "We'll get through it just like last time. Together."
-
Back in the present, Tony had his head hung low and a pained expression clouding his face as his thoughts focused on you.
Even if he was learning to accept the truth now, it didn't hurt any less. There was still the pain and the agony and the grief, and there was still the guilt. It didn't seem to matter how many people told him he wasn't to blame for what happened, it just didn't seem to make a difference.
Pepper gently held his cheek in her hand, her own look grief-stricken. Tony leaned into her touch, closing his eyes for a moment.
No words could be said because no words would suffice to ease the pain both were suffering from.
Pepper lifted her other hand and held his other cheek, wiping away a stray tear with her thumb. Tony swayed a little on his feet but kept steady in the end, placing his hands over hers.

They simply stood in each other's company until a knock on the door filled the silence of the room.
Bruce walked in, also donned in black, with a somber look of empathy.
"Hi." He said in a timid tone, worried about having interrupted a moment.
"Hi, Bruce." Pepper said, doing her best to smile.
"Sorry. Are you, uh... Are you ready? Happy's waiting by the car."
She nodded. "We'll be down in a moment."
"Okay. I'll see you down there."
He promptly left, leaving the room in silence again. At least until Pepper spoke again.
"Ready?" She asked quietly.
Tony let out a shaky sigh. "Do I get the choice?"
It remained unanswered as she began leading him to the door with a sorrowful look. Once they reached the tower parking lot, they found Happy and Bruce by the car.
Happy's expression hadn't changed since the day you died. He was consistently shadowed by a disconsolate feeling.
"You okay, buddy?" Tony asked in a voice so quiet he might not have said anything at all.
Happy managed a nod. "Yeah."
"Sure?"
He nodded a second time. "I'm ready."
-
Just the day before Happy had intended to resign.
He couldn't seem to get over the idea that he was accountable for all that had gone wrong and he had decided that it would be best for everyone if he took a very long and very permanent vacation from the security detail.
"She asked me for secrecy and I said yes because I thought I was helping her." He tried to explain to Tony and Pepper. "What I thought was protection was anything but that. I'm taking responsibility for my actions and hoping for some form of forgiveness before I leave."
There was a dreadful silence.
"What is this?" Tony asked, still staring at the papers.
"My contrition." Happy told him.
Another silence.
Tony looked up from the papers with an expression that surprised Happy. It wasn't relief or agreement like he expected, it was confusion and incredulous.
"I don't get it." Tony said.
Happy glanced at Pepper who shared the confused look. "I'm resigning and accepting accountability."
"Yeah, that's what I don't get."
This time it was Happy who looked bewildered. In his view, he had as good as killed you by not revealing that he had seen and talked to you. He knew who you lived as and he didn't tell anyone, endangering you because no one else could protect you when that horrific day came.
He was startled out of his thoughts when Tony ripped the resignation in half and brought him into a tight embrace.
Happy faltered and took a moment to process before cautiously returning the hug.
"You're my brother." Tony said. "You cared about her and that's all I need to know. That's all I care about. I don't blame you."
Happy closed his eyes. "Why?"
"Because I just can't. She wouldn't."
"Tony..."
"No resigning. I know she loved you, Happy, and I don't want you to go." -
"Steve, Clint, Natasha, and Thor will meet us at the location." Pepper explained as they drove to the mentioned location. "There's going to be journalists and paparazzi but they have restricted access so we don't have to worry about them."
"Where is it?" Tony asked.
He hadn't been as involved in the planning due to his grieving. Pepper had organized pretty much everything.
"Calvary Cemetery." She said.
He looked out the window as he watched the streets fly by. "Why there?"
"Agent Hill suggested it. She said (Y/n) had people in two different places in the same city and that she always wanted the best of both worlds. And that she had special connections in the area and wouldn't want to be separated from them."
Bruce spoke next, his tone curious due to the wording. "What does that mean?"
Tony shared this confusion and Pepper shrugged. "I guess we'll find out soon enough."
Happy didn't say anything but listened to the conversation as he drove to the cemetery. He was surprised by the lack of stormy weather, especially with how miserable the city had looked recently.
-
The reason for the nice weather was Thor himself.
He had returned from Asgard the day before the funeral after taking care of some business in his home realm. It was hard keeping the peace and very exhausting and yet he still had the brightest smile on his face as he greeted his friends on Midgard.
Unfortunately he came back to the news that Tony had lost a daughter. He quickly went to the Tower to find him and was directed by Bruce. The two might not get along but Thor understood how it felt to lose family and he knew that no one deserved the pain if wrought.
"Point Break." Tony greeted, his tone jolted. "Didn't expect you back so soon."
Tumblr media
"Matters between Asgard and Alfheim were settled with fair ease." Thor explained. "Although light elves have quite the temper. You wouldn't expect it."
He nodded. "Right. Well, uh, welcome back."
Even if he tried to look the same, Thor noticed the hurt in his teammate's eyes. He had the same look when he had lost his mother not too long before all of this.
"I heard of your daughter." He said empathetically. "I understand the loss of a loved one, and I am truly sorry, Stark. I would be honored to attend the farewells."
"Sure." Tony hesitated. "And thanks."
He paused again.
"How did you know?" He questioned.
Thor had a sad look still. "My Lady Jane informed me about the news. I believe she, Lady Darcy, and Erik Selvig will be paying their respects also."
"Did they know her?"
"Only in passing, as I did." He thought back to that day, curious. "Her familiarity in the picture we found puzzled me for quite some time until now."
Tony was simply amazed by how many people you seemed to know or at least spoke to. Just how many others were out there? How many people would show up tomorrow?
"When did you meet her?" He questioned.
"Some years ago." Thor replied. "I was banished from Asgard for my own arrogance and found myself stranded in your land of New Mexico. I became acquainted with Jane and her friends whilst there and shortly after that the Son of Coul and Lady (Y/n) arrived. She told me Mjölnir destroyed one of her devices."
"I forgot I wasn't the only one." Bruce chimed in, reminding them that he was also in the room. "I met her a few years ago too, and she said she enjoyed my papers on gamma radiation. She was smart."
Tony looked between them both, his stunned look growing more and more ridiculous by the second.
"And you didn't say anything?" He asked.
"I didn't know she was (Y/n)." Bruce admitted. "It never came up before."
Tony looked away, thinking on the words. He was finally getting to know you and yet at the same time he found it worse because he couldn't actually talk to you about any of it.
You invented something that had a run-in with Thor's hammer. You liked to read papers on scientific exploits.
"Can I ask a favor?" He said towards Thor.
The god stood straight and nodded. "Of course."
"Tomorrow is the funeral." It hurt just to say it. "Just... Can we have weather that isn't trying to drown the city? I'm not asking for sunshine and rainbows, just a clear day."
Thor nodded again. "It would be my pleasure."
-
Back in the car, Tony hadn't said a word for a good ten minutes.
He prefered the silence. He was content with just staring at the sky and holding Pepper's hand as the world rolled past.
But the car soon stopped at a red light.
He looked at the blazing red for a long moment before focusing elsewhere. He caught sight of a parent and child. A dad and his daughter.
The little girl clutched her father's hand as she jumped into old puddles. She had the most brilliant gleaming smile and the dad watched her fondly, laughing whenever she made a big splash on the sidewalk.
Tony wanted it.
He wanted all those moments he skipped out on. He wanted the birthday parties and the first day of school, he wanted to be there when you had your first heartbreak so he could hurt whoever made you sad. He just wanted to be your dad again.
He tightened his hold on Pepper's hand as his other one reached up to hold the key and the pendant. They were all he had left of you now.
When the car finally pulled up to Calvary Church Cemetery, he wasn't at all prepared for what he saw.
The building was magnificent, a testament to the higher power so many people seemed to dedicate themselves to. It had a golden inscription above the double doors talking about resurrection and life with images of Jesus and his followers carved into the old stone. Beyond the grand architecture was the cemetery itself, lines upon lines of graves and memorials dotting the grass.
As Happy complained about parking, Tony found his eyes drawn to the many strangers that littered the front of the cathedral. He didn't recognize them. Not all of them anyway.
He could spot the rest of the Avengers, Dr. Cho, Thor's girlfriend and her own friends, Rhodey and his mother, and Maria Hill. The ones he didn't know were a vast majority of former SHIELD agents, Coulson and Fury in disguise, Skye, Fitz-Simmons, Agent May, the Parkers, Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson, Mr. Delmar and his family, residents of your apartment complex, Ned and his moms, MJ and her mom, some officers who knew you through Ben, the press, and quite a few civilians who must have just been there to pay respects.
Tony, unaware of everyone else's identity, had to gather his courage before daring to step out of the car. Immediately the paparazzi cameras were on him like flies, flashes blinding everyone.
There was a time that he would have relished in all the attention, but those days were now long gone. He couldn't stand it anymore.
"I'll meet you inside." Happy told them. "I've got to do security checks."
Pepper nodded in understanding and thanked him. She then took a pin badge from her bag.
It was pretty, sky-blue with the most beautiful flower imprinted on it. It was a gladiolus flower, representing honor, remembrance, and heroism. It was your favorite.
"This will get you inside." She explained, pinning it to his suit.
"Thanks." He replied, giving them each a farewell before he left to speak to some of the officers on duty.
The first people to greet Tony, Pepper, and Bruce were the other Avengers. Steve had an arm brace since his injuries from the Triskelion were still quite fresh even with all the super soldier healing. The others looked very somber.
"Hey, Tony." Steve greeted first. "I'm sorry about (Y/n)."
Tony managed a small nod. "You and the rest of the world. How's the arm?"
"Healing. I'll manage."
"Good. Can't have Mr. Dorito out of commission for too long."
Although the jokes normally annoyed Steve, he kept up a smile for Tony's sake. The six of them - and Pepper - talked for a bit about how the proceedings would go until Tony spotted Roberta Rhodes. Rhodey's mother. He excused himself to talk to her.
Tumblr media
He hadn't seen her in many years. Since Afghanistan. He did send gifts and cards for Christmas, birthdays, and mother's day since she did the same and never forgot a single holiday. She always tried her best to advise him on your upbringing but he was so arrogant that he never listened.
The second she spotted him she engulfed him in a tight hug and kissed the top of his head lovingly.
"Oh, Tony..." She mumbled, giving him a gentle squeeze. "I'm so sorry, my dear."
He just nodded, forgetting how comforting a mother's embrace could be. He didn't want to let go and probably would have had another breakdown of grief if he wasn't already cried out.
"I'm sorry." He then mumbled, still holding onto her.
"Hey..." Her voice was so gentle and calming. "Whatever for?"
"I didn't listen. You told me what to do and I didn't listen. I wasn't good enough."
"Oh, darling-" She pulled back slightly so she could look him in the eyes. "I won't tolerate that, Tony. You did the best you could even if you didn't know it."
"She hated me, just like... Just like I hated my old man."
"You are not Howard."
"I didn't want to be, but I was. I didn't talk to her, I wasn't there, I never listened. I tried to change but it was too late. She was already gone."
"You still tried." She assured him.
Tony looked away. "You're not disappointed?"
"Never. I didn't like it when my son told me how you raised (Y/n) but I was never disappointed in you. Even when I looked after her and she complained, I always told her to wait and give you time. She understood in the end, just as I did."
He went quiet again, just listening as she went on.
"You're a different man, Tony. A good man. You're a hero to millions, you have a relationship with a beautiful and kind woman, you have friends who are there for you in the darkest time. You are enough. There's no point in trying to change something that doesn't need to be fixed. You did everything you could to find her. You're not Howard. You've always been more like Maria whether you knew it or not."
The Avengers, who had been joined by Rhodey and Agent Hill, questioned who she was as they watched her comfort their friend.
"This is Roberta Rhodes." Rhodey explained. "My mom. She looked after us, and she checked in on (Y/n) for years. Makes a mean cookie, too."
They each smiled at that.
"So who are all these people?" Pepper then asked Hill.
Hill looked around at the crowd, recognizing far more than Tony did before.
"People she knew." She said. "Some are friends, family, some just an acquaintance in the hall, some of them she helped or saved, but they all knew her."
Tony finally let go of Rhodey's mom to look at the crowd again. He had mixed feelings on it all and wasn't sure what he was supposed to express.
"You should be proud." She told him, answering the unspoken question. "I would be. (Y/n) met a lot of people and saved so many more."
He nodded. "I am. She was the real hero.”

Waiting for Spiderman - (Part 3) Peter Parker x (Y/N)
Peter Parker x fem!stark!avenger!reader
Summary: Peter Parker is new to the Avengers, but that doesn't stop him from falling for Tony Stark's daughter.
Warnings: Flash being an absolute jerk
A/N: Hey guys! This fanfic is inspired by the song 'Waiting for Superman' by Daughtry (I changed it to Spiderman for obvious reasons). Also, Pietro never died. Let me know if you want to be tagged. Enjoy ;)
(Y/N)'s eyes shot past Peter, surprised as she heard his name being called. A boy ans girl their age were hurrying towards him. Peter was smiling and waving at them.
"Hey," the boy said as he caught up with them. "You forgot to text me last night, I thought we were going to build my new Lego death star?"
(Y/N) raised her eyebrows and a smile crossed her face. The girl laughed and patted Peter on the shoulder. "You're busted, Parker," she said. "Looks like she just found out how much of a nerd you are."
Before Peter could stammer out an answer, the girl spoke again. "I'm MJ by the way," she introduced herself. "And that's Ned. For the record, I'm not even sure why I'm friends with these dorks.
Peter looked scandalized, but (Y/N) was grinning. She was beginning to like his friends more and more. "Nice to meet you guys," she smiled at them. "I'm (Y/N), (Y/N) Stark."
Ned's eyes widened slowly. "Whoah," he gasped. "You're actually Tony Stark's daughter?"
"That's me," she said, giving a confident shrug. She always played it cool when people mentioned her dad. Provided they didn't overdo it, of course.
"And you're hanging out with us?" Ned asked. The other three laughed at this. "Well, Peter's Spiderman and he hangs out with you," she countered reasonably. In a trice, Peter had his hand over her mouth. "Ssh!!" he hissed, looking around. "Someone might hear you! We're only like a block away from Midtown!"
"Wow," MJ remarked in an unimpressed voice. "You are really into her." Immediately, Peter pulled away and (Y/N) felt her face growing bright red.
Thankfully, Ned changed the subject. "So, (Y/N), did you transfer to Midtown or do you go to another school?"
"No, my dad transferred me two weeks ago," she replied. Ned frowned. "Weird, I'm surprised Flash hasn't asked you out by now," he said. "I try to keep a low profile," the girl replied. "And who is Flash?"
"The scum of Midtown, the ant in our sock, the mosquito bite under our toe, you get the idea," MJ explained. "He's really rich, but he's also a total bully," Ned informed her. "Yeah, he's been bullying especially me for years," Peter said. "There's a lot of kids that hang out with him, though," he added, worry creeping into his voice as if being scared (Y/N) would hang out with him too.
(Y/N) put a comforting arm around him. "For what it's worth, he sounds like an idiotic jerk," she told him. Peter smiled. "Thanks, (Y/N)," he said, and then looked ahead. They had reached Midtown High, the large building towering over the swarm of students entering the school or hanging out and talking.
The four walked up to the steps of the school. Right as they were about to enter, something wet hit the small of (Y/N)'s back.
"What the-" she turned around in outrage, just in time to see a smug smile on the face of a boy who had just ridden a car into a huge puddle right behind her.
"Good morning, Pen!s Parker!" the boy called out gleefully. "Hope you don't mind, you looked a little tired so I decided to wake you up."
"That is Flash," MJ muttered under her breath to you. "Pen!s Parker?" (Y/N) muttered back. "It is taking everything in me not to blast him into a wall right now."
"Come on, Peter, he's not worth it," Ned said, pulling Peter into the building. Peter looked positively mortified at (Y/N) having to see him get bullied by Flash like that, but when he looked at her, she was busy peeling off her wet coat.
"I'm sorry about that," he told her, eyeing it. "Oh, it's all good" she smiled, waving it aside. "Watch this." She stepped into an empty doorway and held out her coat. The others watched her curiously. (Y/N) waved her hand over the coat, smiling as she saw the wet spot grow smaller and smaller until the fabric was dry.
"I could do it with my hands glowing but that could be a little conspicuous in a crowded corridor," the girl said nonchalantly as the three others looked at her, transfixed.
Peter's eyes were wide as he hurriedly looked around to see if anyone else had witnessed that. "How did you do that? That was so cool!" he exclaimed, the excitement in his face making (Y/N) laugh. "I'm serious!" the boy insisted. "You have the coolest power out of like all of the Avengers!"
"Better not let my dad hear you say that," (Y/N) laughed and turned him around so he was standing with his back to her.
He became suddenly aware of the fact that Flash's little stunt had made the back of his jacket wet as well, and smiled as he felt it dry slowly. He looked at (Y/N) with admiration as she dried off MJ and Ned as well.
"Miss Stark?"
A voice behind them made all four whip around as they realized the new guidance counselor, Mrs. Dankworth, standing behind them. (Y/N) immediately brushed the hair out of her face and gave a winning smile. It reminded Peter very much of Mr. Stark's expression when he was winning someone over.
"Mrs. Dankworth, good morning!" (Y/N) smiled. "Is everything ok?" The lady smoothed her cardigan and eyed the girl over her horn-rimmed glasses. "Well, I just wanted to let you know you've been transferred to second period P.E. on Wednesdays and Fridays, there's been a slight mix-up in the schedules so we've been changing them for some of the students."
Peter and Ned exchanged excited glances. This would mean (Y/N) would be taking P.E. with them, meaning they would have one class with her.
"That's fine," (Y/N) was saying. "Thank you so much for letting me know, Mrs. Dankworth." The woman gave a small smile. When (Y/N) turned, MJ was looking at her with an impressed look in her eye.
"Oh, you're good," she said. (Y/N) laughed. "I get the flattery from my father."
"Yeah, Mr. Stark does know how to please a crowd," Peter agreed. "Are you calling me a crowd pleaser, Parker?" (Y/N) asked, quirking her brow at him. Peter immediately went red. "N-no, no, what I meant was..."
"Relax, I was just messing with you," (Y/N) said, holding her hand up. "I have to go or I'll be late for first period science."
"I have first period science too," MJ said. "I'll walk with you." (Y/N) smiled and nodded, waving goodbye to the other two.
"Dude," Ned said when the girls were well out of earshot. "You like her." Peter looked at his best friend, hoping he looked convincing. "What? No, no, she's just a friend."
"Are you listening to yourself? You're literally living with (Y/N) Stark, who is cute, hot and totally into you, and you're telling me she's just a friend?"
Peter rolled his eyes. "I like her as a friend," he insisted. Ned scoffed. "And Flash is my new best friend."
"Shut up."
---
(Y/N) made her way to the gym with mixed feelings. She and MJ had spent the whole lesson either pretending to pay attention or being resigned to pay attention when they were caught talking. Somehow, MJ seemed convinced that (Y/N) was crazy about Peter, despite the fact that the two had only met yesterday.
She pushed the door to the girl's changing rooms open, flinching when she heard a high-pitched laugh echo in her ears. "I cannot believe you would pass out on an opportunity to marry Thor!"
(Y/N)'s eyes widened as she realized they were talking about her uncle. "Nah," another girl's voice replied. 'I'd prefer a one night stand with him. I mean, have you seen the muscles on that guy?" (Y/N) clapped a hand over her mouth as she tried to stifle her laughter, making a mental note to ask Thor what he thought of girls wanting to hook up with him.
"Ok, and what about... Iron Man?"
Oh, this should be good.
"Iron Man? I'd probably want to marry him."
"Yeah, same. I feel like he's the kind of guy who would protect you no matter what."
Well, they got that right.
"And he's hot enough, isn't he?"
The giggle was out of (Y/N)'s mouth before she could stop it. She could practically hear the girls look up. "Hello?" one of them called. "Is anyone there?"
(Y/N) squeezed her eyes shut and stepped out from behind the lockers. A blonde and a brunette were sitting together on the benches and were looking at her with identical puzzled looks.
"Were you listening to us?" the blonde asked. "Not intentionally," (Y/N) replied, hoping she didn't sound too awkward. "So what do you think?" the brunette. "Kiss marry kill - Thor, Iron Man, and Spiderman."
(Y/N) gave a small smile. "I don't think I'd do any of those things with Iron Man. But... I might kiss Spiderman if circumstances allowed." The blonde shook her head. "Fine, but I stand by my choice. Thor is the hottest Avenger. I'm Betty, by the way," she added. "This is my friend Liz."
"Hi," (Y/N) said with a classic Stark smile. "Ok, I'm going to change."
"Meet us out front, ok?" Liz smiled. With that, the two left, leaving (Y/N) to finally let go of her suppressed laughter.
When the girl finally exited the changing rooms, she was pleased to see both Peter and Ned sitting on the bleachers. She hurried to meet them, an inviting smile gracing her face.
"Oh-h, boy," Peter whispered as he saw her arrive. "This is your chance!" Ned hissed. "Tell her you have a crush on her!"
"I'm not going to tell her I have a crush on her-"
"So it's true?" Ned gasped, his eyes widening. "You do have a crush on her!"
"Ned, seriously, shut u- hey, (Y/N)!" he broke off suddenly as he saw the girl approaching them. "Hey, guys. So, I just met these girls who were playing kiss marry kill with Thor, my dad, of all people, and you, Peter. Well, Spiderman, really, but you know."
Ned smirked. "Oh, really? That's - that's an interesting question, (Y/N). So, who would you kiss? Spiderman or Thor?" (Y/N) went red, but before she had a chance to answer, someone behind her wolf-whistled.
She turned, her eyes narrowed, not surprised at all by who she saw. Flash Thompson with the stupidest smirk on his smug face. "So, you're the new girl?"
"If you can call someone who's been here for two weeks new," (Y/N) replied, a calculating look on her face as she stood to face the boy. She caught the slight confused frown on Flash's face. She smirked. He wasn't used to girls saying things like that to him. He was making himself way too obvious.
"What's your name, beautiful?" Flash asked, the smug look returning to his face. Okay. "Number one, do not call me beautiful, even though I'd like to think I am, thank you very much. Number two, you'll know my name soon enough. And number three, I would like you to apologize to me and my friends for that stunt you pulled this morning."
Nobody had been expecting that. Those nearby who had heard what the girl had said were listening, open-mouthed. Flash's jaw had dropped.
"Um..." he said, seemingly unable to form a single thought. Not that he seemed capable of doing so on a regular basis.
At that point, there came a shout. "Stark! You got the schedule change?" She looked past Flash's paling face to Coach Wilson, who was just entering the gym. "Yes, thank you, Coach Wilson!" she called, making sure everyone could hear her. She looked at Flash again and said, "Yeah, I'm (Y/N) Stark. Tony Stark's daughter and heir of Stark Industries. Glad to make your acquaintance."
She was about to turn away, when Flash grabbed her arm. "So what happened to your mom, (Y/N) Stark?" he asked.
The girl felt her face pale.
(Ahh Part 4 is finally out now!

Stony, StevexTony
Prompt: Tony wants Steve to draw him naked (like the Titanic scene)
“Draw me like one of your French girls, Cap.”
Tony, Steve thought with cheeks burning a brilliant shade of red that was bright and deep enough to match the shimmering paint of Ironman’s armor, was a little shit.
Such a little shit.
Only Tony could turn a lost bet into a punishment for the winning party.
Steve had won, he thought furiously as his hand moved across the parchment paper, the blunt pads of his fingers dusted with charcoal. His fingers sketched out a form that he knew from memory. That devious curl of a smile pulling at the corners of his lips, the way a lock of hair fell across his brow despite his best efforts to keep it tamed. The sharp line of his jaw, strong and willful, the arch of his brow as it lifted in mocking censure. Steve knew every curve and divot of that face from memory. Making this bet a really unnecessary one.
It was his idea to do this, he reminded himself firmly, eyes narrowed in concentration as all sense of control was once again ripped from his grasping fingertips.
Tony had a terrible habit of doing that to a guy.
A few bottles of beer, a couple of whiskeys, and some of Thor’s Asguardian mead, and some words were exchanged. Bets were placed. But an outsider looking in wouldn’t know that Steve was the victor here. Not with his cheeks stained red and the smug smile that Tony was shooting his way.
Tony just had a way about him. An arrogance that when he walked into the room he owned it and everything around him.
It was infuriating.
It drove Steve crazy.
Tony had lost their bet, and now Steve got a free model for his art class down at the community center. They were studying form and movement.
Steve had looked forward to an afternoon of bossing the intractable Tony Stark around. He had even brought a couple of costumes and props for his teammate and sometimes nemesis to wear.
He had set up his easel and sketch pad in the living room where natural light tended to flood the space through the wide floor to curling windows. He had his charcoals neatly lined up in a row, and ideas and poses to put the infamous Tony Stark through or in written down on a scrap piece of paper.
His plans had all gone up in smoke, however, when Tony sauntered into the living room without a single stitch of clothing on.
Steve had stared, slack jawed with his tongue in a tangle, as Tony had sashayed over to the settee in the middle of the well lit room and draped himself over it. He currently had a pillow under his hips, face down, chinned propped insolently on his palm and a foot kicked back up into the air. His hair fell in wild curls, a touch too long for a standard cut, around his face and eyes.
Tony had put his ass on display and dared Steve to draw it.
All poses and costumes and fripperies went out the window the moment Steve laid eyes on that ass. As his hand sketched out its perfect curves, Steve felt something inside of him break. Snap.
Steve had, in his less guarded moments, wondered what type of form was under all those starchy suits and bright and distracting neck ties. He had often thought, late at night alone in his room in the tower, of stripping the clothes from that insolent body and turning the mouthy little punk over his knee to paint his bubble butt a cherry red.
He had fantasized about that ass.
Spanking it, squeezing it, fucking it, biting it.
And here Tony had come, like a red flag waving in front of an enraged bull, saucily draping himself over the furniture and demanding that Steve draw him naked.
Because this is what Steve meant by model right?
Steve wasn’t about to say no. He kicked the bag of costumes and props discreetly behind his chair. Out of sight of those sharp whiskey eyes.
He wasn’t about to tell the punk to put clothes on, not when he looked so very delicious while naked. He was sure this was just another attempt by the little shit to make Steve uncomfortable.
Stark was somehow of the opinion that Steve was some sort of boy scout. That he walked the straight and narrow path and had never had a dalliance before. That he was an innocent virgin.
The thought made him chuckle.
Steve had been to war. There wasn’t much else to do on the front line. No better way to feel alive in those fleeting moments of quiet and safety.
As Steve’s hand moved across the paper with long sure strokes, Tony’s smirk began to falter. He had obviously been planning on a mortified reaction. Maybe this was his way of trying to duck out of their agreement.
That wasn’t going to happen.
“Cap? You, uh, okay over there?”
“Quiet, Tony, models aren’t supposed to move. They're supposed to stay silent, sit still, and stay wherever I put them.”
Steve’s eyes flicked up to watch Tony’s Adam’s apple bob in his throat as he swallowed. A smirk curled on his lips. Tony wanted to play? Did he like being bossed around? In the field, that was a resounding no, but here on the couch naked and vulnerable Tony couldnt hide the reaction Steve’s words had on him. The way his muscles tensed, the subtle shifting of his hips.
Then let the games begin.
“Matter of fact, great job here on the couch, Tony. I’ve got the preliminary sketches down. It’s going to be great. I can do the rest from memory.”
Tony moved as if to sit up, an insouciant grin on his face, “Well it’s been real, spangles, but I’ve-”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa. Easy there Tony. You agreed to be my model for the afternoon. By my calculations, which correct me if I’m wrong cuz you know you’re the one with the head for numbers and I’m just a simple guy from the lower east side, but that gives me about three more hours of your time. At least. Amirite?”
Tony’s lips pressed together in a displeased line, his brow creasing, as he nodded once in affirmation.
“That’s swell.” Steve clapped his hands on his thighs before standing up. Tony moved, reluctantly, into a seated position, dragging the pillow across his lap as he gazed up at Steve with a narrowed eyed stare, as if Steve were a puzzle and he was trying to figure him out.
Tony was smart. He’d understand very soon exactly what Steve had in mind.
“There’s some great light over here by the window.” Steve grabbed his sketchpad and charcoals as he motioned to the far side of the room. The living room was great for painting because on each of the three sides it was entirely comprised of floor to ceiling windows. Steve chose the set of windows where the sun was in the backdrop, painting newyork with brilliant shades of amber, the sky a perfect blue.
“Why don’t you go put your hands against the glass over there, Tony.” Steve brought over his chair, and sat down facing the window. He busied himself with setting up his sketchpad while Tony’s muffled footsteps crossed cautiously across the room.
“Should I put some-”
“Nope. Just as you are is fine. It was your idea, afterall, and a good one. I’m looking forward to practicing capturing the way the shadows drape across your skin.”
Tony sighed. “If you had any idea how much my time is worth-”
“A bets a bet. And you lost. Time to pay up, chump.”
“You guys set me up and you know it.” Tony groused, hands slapping against glass. Steve raised his eyes to take up the long, lean, line of Tony’s body. There wasn't an ounce of fat or softness on the man, but his musculature wasn't bulky like Steve or Thor’s. He was fit, strong, with the body of a swimmer. Right now both of his hands were placed against the glass, his feet together, and he looked as if he were about to get frisked.
Steve’s smile turned devious.
He wasn't too far off.
“Tut tut,” Steve intoned dryly, climbing to his feet. “No, that’s not quite right, is it?”
Tony’s head jerked to the side, indignation in every line of his lean body. “Did you really just say Tut Tut? Is that a - hey!”
Steve’s hands wrapped around Tony’s hips, fingers digging in as he pulled those hips backwards into more of a bent position…that just so happened to press that cute little ass right up against the rough denim of Steve’s jeans. He felt Tony freeze in shock, watch the play of muscles in his shoulders and the way his fingers clenched and pressed against the window.
“S-Steve?”
Tony let out a startled huff as Steve’s foot worked its way between his legs, nudging them apart to widen his stance. Steve smirked at the red flush that was creeping up the side of Tony’s neck, at the way those warm whiskey eyes widened with shock and then took on a sheen of lust. He saw the moment Tony’s walls fell down, the cocky and brash tycoon giving way to something more vulnerable. More intimate.
“Perfect.” Steve whispered, thumbs stroking over the smooth skin of Tony’s lower back. He took a step backward, gaze falling to that bubble butt that had been haunting him since he’d first seen Tony step out of the Ironman suit in spandex. That first time…it had literally punched the air out of his lungs.
“There’s just one more thing for this piece. It’s really… well, the piece really hinges on it, you know?” Steve’s hand slid from Tony’s hip around to the flat plane of his stomach, fingertips ghosting over his skin.
“Can I touch you, Tony?”
The muffled grunt and the slightly jerky nod was consent enough for Steve. His hand slipped lower, fingering the treasure trail that led to -
“Ah, you’re already hard for me.” His fingers curled around Tony’s cock, giving the rigid length a gentle squeeze that had Tony inhaling sharply.
Steve played with him, then.
Like a cat with a mouse, his hand stroking slow and sure up and down the length of him. Tony was a good handful, his cock warm in Steve’s palm. Tauntingly, Steve stroked his thumb over the sensitive head, smearing the precum around until Tony’s breath was stuttering, his hips jerking helplessly into Steve’s fist.
Steve chuckled against Tony’s ear, watching as his breath stirred the small hairs on the nape of his neck. He let Tony fuck his fist, watching the play of emotions across the slighter man’s face as his hand squeezed tight around him. The way his cheeks flushed, lips parted and brows drawn down as he chased after his pleasure. The punched out breaths, the soft gasps and stuttered moans as Steve worked him into a frenzy, taking him right to the edge.
He was gorgeous like this, Steve thought.
“F-F- Steve” Tony groaned, his panting breaths the only sound that filled the room. “Please - I -”
Steve let go, chuckling as Tony let out a pained moan.
“Now, now,” Steve recaptured one of Tony’s hands as it tried to make its way down to what Steve could only assume was an aching cock. “You don’t want to ruin all my hard work, do you? It’s important that I capture the need in this piece. The invitation. Stay very, very still for me. If you’re a good boy, I’ll reward you after.”
Steve chuckled at the high pitched whine that left Tony’s throat when he walked back to his chair and picked up his charcoal.
Tony stood, hands against the glass, ass pressed backward in clear invitation with a hard, weeping cock between his legs. His head hung down between his shoulders, fingers pressing hard against the wall of glass, eyes squeezed shut and lower lip captured between pearly white teeth.
“How..how long…” Tony managed to croak out, his toes curling against the carpet.
“I could do this all day.” And he had every plan to. Steve couldn't wait to see that ass painted a cherry red from his hand, he wanted to capture the perfect imprint of his teeth in the globe of that ass.
Afterall, a bet was a bet.

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The last few days had been a bit of a blur for you, partially because of Bruce ensuring (and the rest of the team’s insistence at any sign of discomfort) that you were on some good painkillers while recovering from your stunt that you pulled, and partially because you hadn’t been allowed to leave your temporary accommodation at Stark tower, which other than the one wall of pure windows that let you look over New York, kept you locked away from the rest of the world. You had tried to leave and walk around, but the entire team had been watching you like a hawk since you got back, and they always pushed you back into bed to rest.
So when you had managed to make it one floor down to the living area, the place where the team had been hanging out when Ultron attacked, you considered that a new record, and awarded yourself by limping hunched over to one of the couches and collapsing onto it with a deep sigh. You ran your hands over the fabric, remember that it had been over a year since you felt it, over a year since you had last been in the tower. Over a year since you had said yes to going back home without realising it. Despite the aching and soreness that still resonated with you, you were happy to be back.
“What do you think you’re doing? You’re supposed to be in bed.” The voice of Rogers made you groan, shutting your eyes and pouting. You heard his footsteps and others stop in front of you, but you didn’t open your eyes to see who else was there. “You need to rest, Y/N. You’re still recovering.”
“Can I not recover in another room?” You commented in response. “I walked all the way down here by myself, and I’m fine. A change of scenery is nice. I’m going stir crazy.” You grumbled, finally peeking your eyes open, seeing Natasha, arms crossed, and Wanda.
“Doesn’t change the fact that you still absorbed the power of almost every infinity stone, as well as took the power of Wanda, Vision, Stark, Danvers and Thor, and like it or not, all that and the explosion itself damanged your body. How many broken ribs was that again?” Natasha asked, turning to Wanda.
“3.” She responded shortly.
“The powers Stan-Lee gave me means I just absorbed that stuff like a sponge. The broken ribs, cuts and bruises was technically from the rocks that fell on me after killing Thanos.” You pointed out.
“Doesn’t make it better, Y/N.” The voice of Bruce spoke up, and you sighed as he, Stark and Barton came into view now, and not long after, Thor, Pietro and Vision.
“This feels like Deja Vu” You commented with a grin, looking up at them as they stood over you, seeing some of them look confused at your commented. “Remember how we met? You guys surrounding me after I fell out my portal?” You reminded, and you saw recognition in the face of the original members.
“Stop trying to distract us- you’re due another dose.” Bruce reminded.
“Noooo. I’m fine. I don’t want anything else. Not yet.” You begged, crossing your arms.
“Y/N.” Stark said your name, sounding like a disappointed parent.
“No drugs. Not for a while. Please.” You insisted. “They knock me on my ass and make it hard for me to focus on anything. They make me sleep.”
“Which is what you need.” Clint pointed out.
“No.” You insisted, this time a lot sterner. “I just got back. I’ve barely been able to process it since I’m constantly drowsy or just asleep… From the day I said yes to Lee to send me back, I was told by everyone around me that this-” You insisted, waving your hand at them, and then poking the couch “Wasn’t real. I told them all about you guys, what I experience, felt both physically and emotionally, and they told me I just had an extremely long manic episode. Friends, family, medical professionals, everyone told me none of this is real, and after a year of that, I was genuinely starting to believe them. Now I’m back, and… I just… let me feel this. I want to be able to feel the fabric on the couch, to be able to hear you guys say my name when I’m resting… I need to feel this-” You said, now placing your fingers roughly against your bandaged side, making yourself wince at the pain “To know this is real, okay? That they were wrong- that I’m not having another so-called episode, that I’m actually here with you.” You insisted. The group remained silent, but their faces were solemn, processing your words, and your experience away from them. “No drugs.” You said, looking at Bruce.
“Alright… but we don’t want you in pain… so how about something a lot weaker and in smaller doses? It’ll make it bearable but… you’ll still be aware, conscious and in some pain, but able to walk around as long as you rest frequently.” Bruce bargained.
“I’ll take that.” You agreed. “Now can I please do something that doesn’t involve me being locked away in my room?” You asked.
“You mentioned a movie.” Wanda said, coming and sitting on the couch beside you. “You didn’t go into the details- just that you wanted the new movie about us, about what happened in Wakanda. You didn’t have much time to go over what happened. Will you tell us?” She asked. The team found their own seating, some pulling pieces closer, Steve and Tony sitting on the coffee table in front of you, Pietro sitting on the floor at your feet, Natasha seeing on the arm of the couch beside you, the others littered around, other than Vision and Thor who stood.
“...Actually there was more than one… there was one on Thor… though it seems with Bruce not going to space after Ultron, things happened different for him as well, but he was still able to reconnect with Loki, and another plus was Loki living… not sure how that happened, though.” You admitted, seeing Thor frown.
“You didn’t mention that part.” He commented quietly to himself.
“Then there’s the Guardians of the Galaxy movies- those were the aliens that helped us and the one human guy. For them, The green girl- Gamora, is Thanos’ adopted daughter and he was supposed to kill her to get the Soul Stone, but that didn’t happen either, so they’re happy.”
“What about the girl that you somehow knew Fury knew how to contact? Danvers?” Clint asked.
“She didn’t show up in this movie- but at the very end of it in the after credits, when everyone was turning to dust- including fury, he called her right before, and it showed her emblem, hinting at a movie with her soon.” You explained. “Thought it couldn’t hurt to have him all her before- throw everything at Thanos for the best possible outcome, y’know?” You shrugged.
“I have a question.” Tony spoke up. “When you came back- you told Peter he got ‘dusted’ as you put it, and that his senses realised something happened… who else? Out of the team?” Tony asked. You tensed a little at the question. You looked at everyone in front of you, your mind flashing to the images you saw on the big screen, how each one made your heart ache…
“Well… excluding those who were supposed to be dead already- looking at you, speedy… Peter, most of the Guardians other than Rocket and Gamora’s sister- her and Tony are the only ones who come back from the space travel adventure I stopped you going on- Dr Strange, T’Challa, Fury, Hill, Sam, Bucky, Wanda, the entirety of Clint’s family… and those who are supposed to die in the actual movie… Loki, Gamora, and Vision, all at the hands of Thanos.” You listed, your voice monotone, sounding tired. The room was awfully silent.
“Was that why you insisted on me not being involved at all in the fight?” Vision spoke up, and you nodded.
“You watched that? On a giant screen, you saw me, and the other turned to dust?” Wanda asked. Another nod. “And you came back to help us? Knowing if things went wrong, you’d have to see it all again?”
“Of course I did.” You smiled sadly at her. “Despite the year of everyone telling me this was all fake, that you didn’t exist… when I saw what happened to you all, I… I mourned. I mourned all the way home, and when I got there, Stan was right there waiting for me. Everything was raw in my mind, so when he gave me the chance to stop this happening to you, even at the expense of never seeing my family or old friends again or living a relatively safe life… It was worth it. A billion times over. And hey, by doing that, I also saved my world, even if they’ll never know it.” You smiled sadly.
“Well.” Tony sniffed,  running his hand over his face to hide any sign of being teary eyed. “In that case, we owe you a massive thank you… and how better than a giant party? Give it another week of course so you can actually dance a little.” Tony decided, making you chuckle.
“We’re not at risk of another Ultron thing though, right?” Clint jokes.
“Sorry guys, I’m no longer a prophet- this timeline is officially deviating from the original plot, and we just went through the latest movie for me- I have no idea what the future holds for us- but at least I’m not completely useless and have these cool new powers.” You joked.
“How’s ‘Rechargeable battery’ as a nickname?” Pietro asked as he stood up, heaving you up to your feet, wrapping your arm around his shoulder for support, making you laugh, even if you winced a little at the movement.
“We’ll discuss our new Avenger member’s superhero name while we organise a new medication plan in the lab.” Bruce said, pointing the way, the entire group going along with you, discussing the new party, who will be going, you and Thor vouching for Loki, Wanda and Pietro making song suggestions, the noise of bickering, laughing, and playful teasing within the group something you missed dearly, and so happy to have back.
You made the right decision, and you didn’t regret it. Not one bit.
Hope you like it! If you have any questions, please send them in!

Welcome Home: Nick Fury x gn! Reader (platonic)
S.S.: just a quick little blurb... Might add to the story. We'll see!
Warnings: None.
Word Count: 537
MASTERLIST
=============================
A soft melody floated down the hallway of my apartment complex. It was calming until I realized it was coming from my apartment. I racked my brain to try and remember if I had left it on before leaving for work this morning, but I recall removing the record that I had been playing.
My heart beat skipped, my anxiety peaked as I flipped open the knife on my keychain.  I quietly turned the doorknob, pushing it open after realizing it wasn't locked anymore. My instincts kicked in as I snuck into my own apartment, checking around corners, using the few reflective surfaces that lined my walls to hopefully spot the intruder.
Suddenly the music stopped, the needle scratching against the record.
“I don't mean to intrude, but I need your help.” the unmistakable voice of the one and only Nick Fury.
“God damn it Fury. You can't just call like a normal person?” I ask turning the corner to see him face to face. He looked almost the same, maybe a few more wrinkles and a new eyepatch.
“You’re a hard person to contact.” he stated.
“Well, I didn't go off grid to be found, did I?” I replied rhetorically. “But here you are. What do you need?”
“Assistance.” his face showed regret, knowing that he was asking too much.
“I told you when I left that I was done with the hero act. No more missions. Not after last time.” I insisted.
“Just one more.” he said again, “I know I'm asking for a lot-”
“Too much.” I interrupted.
“I understand that but this is a life or death situation.” he pleaded. Knowing Nick Fury, he doesn't plead very often.
“Isn't every mission a life or death situation?” I asked.
“Just one more time.” He bargained, “One last mission and if you decide that you don't want to be in this line of work I will respect that. But I am desperate here.”
His face showed regret and despite his promise I knew that there would be another desperate plea, another mission that held the world in the balance.
“I’m sorry Nick.” My eyes found the floor as they filled with tears. “I just can’t.” My heart was beating out of my chest. I knew I was letting him down but I couldn't bring myself to say yes.
“I understand. I'm sorry that I bothered you.” His voice was full of sorrow and disappointment. He walked towards the door to let himself out. “I hope you know that we are still here for you if you need anything.”
I only hummed in response, knowing that I wouldn't be able to form any words. The sound of the door shutting softly sent relief through my body. The guilt still hanging tightly to my shoulders, a tear slipped from the corner of my eye.
I swiped it away and took a deep breath to try and shake off the guilt. I turned and  followed his footsteps to my door, locking it and slipping my shoes off. I returned to my kitchen and noticed something on my counter.
A burner flip phone sat there with a piece of paper underneath.
‘If you reconsider.’ he knew me too well.
===================================
Hope you liked this quick little story. Let me know if I should continue the plot!
