Thor: Ragnarok could instead have been a sit-com about the Asgardian monarchy where Thor is due to inherit the throne and Loki has to murder him to get the job instead and Hela has to murder both of her brothers (because sexism, boo) and everyone's running about pretending to be Wholesome Siblings but fratricide of some sort is very much on the agenda and Thor's lightning powers are all that's keeping him alive at this point (because his siblings are ambitious and talented and own many sharp objects!) and I don't know how all that Jeff Goldblum stuff fits in, maybe it just doesn't, but anyway some sort of comedy hijinx ensue and it's a lovely heartwarming film/series about how your real family are the people you choose as allies while you murder your way to the throne and who you're gonna have to get rid of ASAP once you finally manage that because they know where you were on the night your older brother(s) were mysteriously stabbed by unknown assailants and how your dad really died.

Every night after tucking my boys, Billy and Tommy in to bed, I have a bit of me time. Sometimes I watch TV, sometimes I'll scroll through social media on my phone, sometimes I'll write because I was told that was supposed to help with grief, it hasn't so far, what helps the most is when I talk to her before bed, "I miss you Wands...our boys miss you too...of course they love their Mama, but you're their Mommy. You carried them for nine months, you were in labor for just over a day." Tommy was born first 12 minutes ahead of his brother Billy. "You gave so much for our boys and our life here and I wish you had never said yes to that mission after all these years..." I break down, quiet sobs wrack me as I curl up on her side of the bed. It still smells like her.
I let sleep take me as I have the same dream I do every night. Wanda, but not Wanda...some twisted version of her with black fingers, and she just seems off, but she's searching, as if she can see me? She's looking for our boys. Every morning just as she finds me, us, I wake up. Dried tears on my cheeks and my eyes red. The bags under my eyes have never been darker, but I cover them up as I get out of bed to start yet another day without my wife.
The alarm blares through the quiet of the room, jolting me awake from my restless slumber. With a heavy sigh, I reach over to silence it, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. Another day begins, much like every other since she left us.
I stumble out of bed, the weight of grief still heavy on my shoulders as I move through the motions of the morning routine. It's a struggle to keep it together, but I have to be strong for Billy and Tommy. They need me, even though every fiber of my being aches for her presence.
As I make my way downstairs, the memories flood back, hitting me like a tidal wave. Wanda was always the light in our lives, her laughter echoing through the halls, her warmth enveloping us like a comforting embrace. But now, there's only emptiness.
I try to push the thoughts aside as I prepare breakfast for the boys, forcing a smile as they bound into the kitchen, their youthful energy a stark contrast to my own weariness. They chatter excitedly about school and friends, oblivious to the pain that lingers beneath the surface.
After they've eaten and headed off to catch the bus, I sink into the solitude of the empty house once more. It's in these quiet moments that the ache is most palpable, the absence of her presence a constant reminder of all that we've lost.
I find myself drawn to her belongings, unable to resist the pull of her memory. Running my fingers over the familiar objects, I'm transported back to happier times, when our love felt invincible, untouchable by the darkness that now threatens to consume me.
But amidst the despair, there's a flicker of something else. A determination, a resolve to keep going, if not for myself then for her. She wouldn't want me to wallow in sorrow, to let the grief consume me. She'd want me to live, to cherish the memories we shared and find solace in the love that still remains.
With a deep breath, I push myself to my feet, wiping away the tears that threaten to fall. Today may be another struggle, another battle against the pain, but I refuse to let it defeat me. For Wanda, for our boys, I'll find the strength to carry on, one day at a time.
The day went by quickly and soon enough the boys were home filling up our home with noise once more,
"Boys homework first or no ice cream!" I call from the kitchen when I hear them start to fight over player one controller.
"Awww but Mama!" They whined.
"So you boys don't want ice cream tomorrow night either I see." I hear them grumble and then the TV go off, the sound of the dining room chairs scraping as I look over my shoulder to see they're working. "There are my good boys." I turn back smiling as I carry on with prepping dinner. Suddenly something feels off. A pit in my stomach starts forming and I feel eyes on me, not the boys though these feel predatory.
I look up and through the window I don't see my own reflection, I see Wanda, the same one I see in my dreams.
My heart leaps into my throat as I freeze, the knife in my hand forgotten as I stare wide-eyed at the impossible sight before me. It's her, but it's not. The twisted version from my nightmares, black fingers reaching out like tendrils of darkness, eyes filled with a hunger I can't comprehend.
I feel a chill run down my spine as her gaze locks onto mine, a shiver of fear coursing through my veins. Instinctively, I reach for the pendant hanging around my neck, fingers brushing against the smooth surface of the purple power stone embedded within. It's a comforting weight, a reminder of the power that pulses through me, but even it feels insignificant in the face of this apparition.
"What do you want?" I manage to choke out, my voice barely above a whisper. But she doesn't answer, only continues to stare, her presence suffocating in its intensity.
Desperation claws at the edges of my mind as I struggle to make sense of the situation. Is this some kind of illusion, a trick of the mind brought on by grief and exhaustion? Or is she truly here, some twisted echo of the woman I loved?
Before I can gather my thoughts, a sudden crash from the dining room snaps me back to reality. The boys, my precious boys, oblivious to the danger that lurks just beyond our walls. With a surge of adrenaline, I lunge forward, grabbing the nearest weapon within reach.
But as I turn back to face the window, she's gone, vanished into thin air like a wisp of smoke. The only evidence of her presence is the lingering sense of unease that hangs heavy in the air.
I rush to the dining room, relief flooding through me as I find the boys unharmed, their laughter filling the room once more. But even as I hold them close, a sense of dread lingers, a silent reminder that darkness still lurks just beyond the edges of our reality.
"Mama is everything okay?" Billy asks as I hold them, kissing the top of their heads.
"I just thought one of you got hurt. I'm happy you boys aren't." I lie to them as to not worry them, but Billy looks at me trying to search my thoughts. "Hey no mind reading little man." I ruffle his hair. "Everything is fine. If you boys are finished you can play one game, dinner will be ready in 15 minutes." The minutes tick by slowly as I finish preparing dinner, the aroma of comfort food filling the air. I glance at the clock, realizing that my boys are engrossed in their game, blissfully unaware of the turmoil swirling within me.
With a heavy sigh, I take a moment to compose myself before calling them to the table. As we gather for the meal, laughter and chatter resuming, I try to push the unsettling encounter out of my mind. But deep down, I know it's not over.
As we eat, the boys share stories from their day, their infectious joy momentarily easing the ache in my heart. I force a smile, savoring these small moments of normalcy in our fractured world.
After dinner, as the boys retreat to their rooms for the night, I find myself once again standing by the window, staring into the darkness beyond. The pit in my stomach returns, the unease settling in as I feel a presence lingering just out of sight.
The room is silent, save for the hum of the refrigerator and the distant sounds of the night. I close my eyes, summoning the courage to speak the words that linger on the tip of my tongue.
"Wanda, if you're out there, if you can hear me, please... don't hide. I don't know what's happening, but I can't face it alone. I need you, now more than ever." My voice trembles with a mix of desperation and longing.
The air remains still, the response elusive. I wait in silence, hoping for some sign, some reassurance that I'm not losing my mind. But the universe remains silent, withholding its secrets.
"Gods I feel like I'm going crazy Wands...how am I supposed to do this without you?" I feel the hot tears in my eyes, streak down my cheeks then suddenly a loud bang from the living room, the sound of a portal. "Stephan? Is that you?" It wasn't uncommon for Stephan Strange to pop in and check on me and the boys. Stephan had lost his love many years ago. Before I reach the living room, I hear the familiar sound of heels clicking on my hard wood flooring. Suddenly I'm standing face to face with the Wanda I've seen in my dreams...."W-Wands?" I questioned,
"A version. I've lost something precious to me and I've come to get it back." I look her over. It's Wanda, but not mine. As I get closer, Her hair is a different shade, her eyes are a little less of an emerald green and more of a sea green, this Wanda has a scar on her forehead, just above her left eyebrow.
"Oh...what has your universe done to you Detka?" I ask softly reaching out and she grabs my wrist with a force.
"It took everything from me." She seethed. "I want my boys back. I'm taking them." She tosses me aside like I'm nothing. Luckily with the power stone embedded in my chest. I push back, barreling back into her. Tackling her to the ground until I'm on top of her and it's then that she notices my stone, "You have the power stone...how? That's impossible. I've seen it kill people that touch it.
"I'm tough that's why my Wanda loved me." I had her pinned and used my own magic to subdue her. "I've been called the Violet Witch here for years. It became my code name."
"That can't be..." I give her a questioning look. "I'm the Scarlet Witch." She tells me, the scarlet witch? Wanda never said anything...? I stumble back off of her, reeling, "The Scarlet Witch." I let out a dry chuckle, "It makes sense, but I can't let you take my boys. If I loose them then That means I've lost my Wanda and them. I might as well die." I tell her,
"Wait so your Wanda is gone?" She asks. I nod,
"She was needed for a mission. I begged her not to go, we had retired from being Avengers 10 years ago when we found out she was pregnant. She told me everything would be fine. She promised me...and then suddenly I have Strange and Parker on my doorstep with Bucky and Sam behind them carry the casket." I feel my eyes blur as I walk over to the scarlet witch, "If you are another her then," I take her hands putting them up to my temples and ease my forehead onto her, letting my memories over the past ten years flood through her mind.
As our minds intertwine, I feel a rush of memories flooding into her consciousness. The love, the loss, the moments of joy and heartache that have shaped my existence since Wanda's departure. It's a whirlwind of emotions, a bittersweet symphony of love and grief that binds us together in ways I never thought possible.
For a moment, there's a flicker of recognition in her eyes, a glimmer of understanding amidst the chaos of her own turmoil. She sees the depth of my pain, the desperation to hold onto the fragments of a life that's slipping through my fingers.
But as quickly as it came, the moment passes, and she pulls away, her expression hardening once more. "I'm sorry for your loss," she says, her voice tinged with a hint of sympathy. "But my pain is just as real. I've lost everything too, and I'll do whatever it takes to reclaim what's mine."
I feel a pang of empathy for her, a shared sense of anguish that transcends the boundaries of our separate worlds. But beneath it all, there's a primal instinct, a fierce determination to protect my boys at all costs.
"I understand your pain," I reply, my voice steady despite the turmoil raging within. "But my boys are not yours to take. They belong here, with me, with their family."
She narrows her eyes, her resolve unwavering. "Then we're at an impasse," she says, her tone final. "I won't leave without them."
I take a step forward, meeting her gaze with steely determination. "Then I guess we'll just have to see who's stronger," I say, my voice echoing with a newfound resolve.
With that, the battle lines are drawn, two versions of Wanda Maximoff facing off against each other in a clash of wills and power. But amidst the chaos and uncertainty, one thing remains clear: no matter the outcome, I'll do whatever it takes to protect my boys and honor the memory of the woman I loved.
Her eyes meet mine, a mixture of pain and longing mirrored in their depths. The tear I wiped away lingers on her cheek, a testament to the shared sorrow we both carry. The silence stretches between us, heavy with unspoken emotions, and for a moment, time seems to hang suspended.
"I... I don't know if I can stay," she whispers, her voice choked with emotion. "But the offer, it means more than you can imagine. In my world, everything has crumbled, and I'm left with nothing but ashes and echoes of what once was."
I can feel the weight of her words, the burden of her grief, and I tighten my grip on her cheek, desperate to convey the sincerity of my plea. "Wanda, you don't have to face this alone. You're not just a version of her; you're your own person, with your own pain. But here, in this universe, you have a chance to rebuild, to find a new kind of family."
She opens her eyes, the sea-green gaze locking onto mine. There's a vulnerability in her expression, a crack in the stoic facade she wears. "I'm so tired," she admits, a raw honesty in her voice. "Tired of loss, tired of fighting. Maybe... maybe it's time for a different path."
A tentative smile plays on her lips, and my heart skips a beat. I wipe away another tear, this time a tear of relief. "You don't have to decide now," I say softly. "Take the time you need. But know that here, you have people who care, people who understand loss and are willing to help you carry the burden."
The room seems to brighten, as if the weight of the universe has lifted, if only for a moment. And in that moment, I see a glimmer of hope, a possibility for healing and connection that transcends the boundaries of our fractured worlds.
"I need to know one thing." She speaks, "Is Vision alive?" my brows furrow together.
"Vision? Who is that?" I ask genuinely confused.
"Wait...how did we meet here?" She asks.
"Oh well we met in Sokovia. We were protesting Stark together at a rally. Your brother flirted with me first and I never let him live that down especially when I married you and he was my best man." I smile at the memory. "Anyways, we were approached by Hydra and experimented on. They had the mind stone and the power stone. You and Pietro were exposed to the mind stone and I was too, but nothing happened unlike you two so they put me in a room with the power stone. It decided my chest was it's forever home. I ended up breaking us out from the Hydra base with the help of the Avengers who had caught word of the base. The three of us joined the Avengers and the rest is history." I tell her.
"So no Ultron? Sokovia didn't fly in the air? What about the Sokovia accords?" She throws question after question.
"No idea what you're talking about love. We carried on doing small missions, taking down hydra and radicals, but the three of us spent a long time training before they let us out doing field work." I tell her.
"Three? Is...is Pietro..?" Her voice breaks.
"Alive? Yeah of course." She falls to her knees and starts sobbing.
"Mommy?" Billy is at the middle of the stairs and the look in Wanda's eyes.
"Yeah baby it's Mommy." Wanda opened her arms and the little speedster found his way into her arms." Her eyes spilling over tears.
"Mama said you weren't coming back." Billy whispered.
"Mama didn't think I was, but Mommy always finds a way back to her boys." Wanda pulls back and looks up at me. "I'm staying...how could I say no when this is just about the most perfect version I could ask for?" I smile and start crying again as Tommy joins us before I can even blink. "Our little quick silver." Wanda smiles hugging the boys, her boys.
Tears of relief blur my vision as I watch Wanda embrace our boys, her boys, with a tenderness that speaks volumes. Billy and Tommy cling to her, their small arms wrapping around her tightly as if afraid she'll disappear again if they let go. And in that moment, I realize that this is where she belongs, with us, her family.
I join them on the floor, wrapping my arms around them all, unable to contain the overwhelming flood of emotions that threatens to consume me. "Welcome home, Wanda," I whisper, my voice choked with tears.
She looks up at me, her eyes shining with gratitude and love. "Thank you," she says softly, her voice trembling with emotion. "For everything."
Together, we sit in the warmth of our embrace, a makeshift family forged from the ashes of our shared past. And as the night stretches on, I can't help but feel a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness, a belief that no matter what trials may come, as long as we have each other, we can weather any storm.
========================
The days blurred together in a haze of longing and uncertainty, each moment tinged with the ache of what could have been. Wanda's presence in our home was both a blessing and a curse, a constant reminder of the love I had lost and the impossibility of reclaiming what was once mine.
I watched her interact with the boys, her smile forced but genuine, her laughter a melody that echoed through the halls. And yet, beneath the surface, I could sense the weight of her own grief, the burden of a past that refused to let her go.
I tried to be strong, to be there for her and the boys, but every smile felt like a lie, every laugh a hollow echo of the joy we once shared. And in the darkness of the night, when sleep eluded me and the silence pressed in like a vice, I found myself haunted by memories of another Wanda, a version of her that existed only in my dreams.
She was so close, yet so far away, a phantom presence that taunted me with what could have been. I longed to reach out to her, to hold her close and whisper words of love and comfort. But she was gone, lost to me in a reality that no longer existed.
And so I forced myself out of bed each morning, steeling myself against the pain that threatened to consume me. I buried myself in the routines of daily life, seeking solace in the mundane tasks that kept me tethered to reality.
But no matter how hard I tried to push her memory away, she lingered in the shadows of my mind, a ghostly specter that refused to be forgotten. And as the days turned into weeks, I began to wonder if I would ever find peace, if I would ever be able to let go of the love that still bound me to her, even across the vast expanse of the multiverse.
My Wanda and I had always had a policy of no mind reading since we could both do it, but this Wanda pokes at my thoughts constantly. Reminds me to smile through telepathy. One morning after a really good dream with another Wanda I can't get myself out of bed. Everything is too much. I know I had told her I'd be fine, but I'm not.
"Come on Y/N. Time to get up." I turn away from her, curling up into a ball further. "Y/N? What's wrong?" She asks.
"Nothing just tired. Just tell the boys I don't feel good. I need a Mama's day. So they can have a Mommy day. Take them out, get them ice cream. Do whatever you want." I grumble.
"Okay..." I close my eyes, letting myself drift back off just needed to see her again.
I don't know how much time has past when I'm being woken up, "Detka...come on wake up." My eyes blink into focus as I look at Wanda sitting above me and smile, forgetting my reality for a moment before my smile drops.
"What?" I ask.
"I dropped the boys off with their uncle for the weekend." I sit up straight,
"You did what!?" I screech.
"I left them with Pietro for the weekend. He was more than happy to have a boys weekend. Something about taking them to the lake?" Wanda mentions.
"He takes them every summer, usually it's a family thing and we all go." I tell Wanda.
"Well I figured you needed a Mommy and me weekend. I want to take you out. I want to get to know you. I already know my boys, but you. You're different, new, you aren't like Vision. You're human." She cups my cheek, smiling and I know it's a genuine smile. "I'm sure you've been feeling neglected and I wanted to try and do this sooner, but the boys were too excited to have me back." She says as I lean into her touch, Gods how I missed her touch. Though her fingers were no longer black her nails seemed to permanently stay black which made me laugh as I compared it to her emo phase which apparently this Wanda had one too.
"Thank you," I whisper, my voice catching in my throat. "For understanding."
She smiles, a warmth in her eyes that belies the weight of her own pain. "We're in this together. You don't have to carry the burden alone."
With her words echoing in my mind, I find the strength to push myself out of bed, to face the day with renewed determination. Wanda's offer of a Mommy and me weekend is a lifeline, a chance to rediscover myself amidst the chaos of grief and longing.
As we spend the day together, exploring the city and sharing stories of our pasts, I feel a sense of peace settle over me, a reassurance that maybe, just maybe, there's still hope for a future filled with love and laughter.
And as the sun sets on our day together, I realize that while Wanda may not be my Wanda, she's still a beacon of light in the darkness, a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there's always someone willing to stand by our side, to offer a hand to hold and a shoulder to lean on.
With her by my side, I know that no matter what the future may hold, I'll never have to face it alone. And as we head home, the weight of grief feels a little lighter, the shadows a little less daunting, as we embrace the possibility of a new beginning, together.
When we got back home, I pulled her to the couch, "Time to watch sitcoms." I tell her and her face lights up.
"Dick Van Dyke?" She asks.
"No Detka. I want to show you my favorite this time. It's a more modern one. It's an animated sitcom though is that okay?" I ask, realizing this Wanda maybe never experienced animated and only enjoyed live action ones.
"Of course dorogoya." Her accent popping out sent a wave through me that landed between my legs.
"O-okay good." I say and get 'Bob's Burgers' playing. As the show starts I settle in with a slight distance between us, but she pulls me in against her side.
"Is this okay dorogoya?" She asks looking down at me.
"Y-yeah...of course." I move slight, readjusting to get comfortable as we fit together like two missing puzzle pieces and I let out a sigh of relief, that feels like so much weight is taken off my shoulders.
As the episodes of "Bob's Burgers" played on, I found myself relaxing into Wanda's embrace, the tension that had been coiled tight within me slowly unraveling with each passing moment. Her warmth seeped into my bones, a comforting presence that chased away the lingering shadows of doubt and fear.
With her by my side, the laughter that bubbled up from the screen felt genuine, a reflection of the newfound camaraderie we shared. And as I stole glances at her profile, illuminated by the soft glow of the television, I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the moment, the simplicity of just being together.
Her laughter mingled with mine, the sound music to my ears, a symphony of joy that filled the room with warmth and light. And as the credits rolled on the final episode, I turned to her, a smile playing at the corners of my lips.
"Thank you," I said softly, my voice barely above a whisper. "For today. For everything."
She returned my smile, her eyes shimmering with affection. "Anytime. I'm here for you, always."
I sat there staring at her, getting lost in her eyes so much that I don't even realize that she's leaning in until she's inches from my lips, she stops and I can feel her breath on me, my own hitching,
"Is this okay dorogoya?" She whispers in a husk against my lips.
"Y-yes." I manage out as she kisses me softly at first, testing the waters, but soon enough she's kissing hungrily, like she's starving for my taste now that's she's had a nibble. My fingers find their way into her hair, getting tangled in her auburn locks. One of her hands is on the back of my neck and the other is on my hip, gripping tightly, I can feel her nails digging in.
The world falls away as our lips meet in a fiery embrace, a collision of passion and longing that ignites every nerve ending in my body. Her kiss is intoxicating, a whirlwind of desire and need that sweeps me away in a tide of sensation.
I lose myself in the taste of her, the feel of her lips moving against mine with a hunger that mirrors my own. Our breath mingles in the space between us, hot and heavy with unspoken desire, as the intensity of our embrace grows with each passing moment.
Her hands are everywhere at once, trailing fire along my skin as she pulls me closer, her touch igniting a wildfire of sensation within me. I cling to her desperately, losing myself in the dizzying whirl of pleasure that consumes us both.
Time loses all meaning as we surrender to the passion that binds us together, lost in a world of our own making where nothing else matters but the fiery connection that burns between us.
And as we finally break apart, breathless and trembling, I find myself drowning in the depths of her gaze, a silent promise of more to come lingering in the air between us.
In that moment, I know that this is just the beginning of our journey together, a journey filled with love, passion, and endless possibility. And as we cling to each other in the aftermath of our shared passion, I can't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the unexpected twist of fate that brought us together.

"Bed. Now." Her eyes lit up red for a moment. My Wanda had never been dominate, but this Wanda before me exuded dominance. I didn't waste any time getting up the stairs with her hot on my tail as we crashed into the bedroom, stumbling to the bed in a heat of kisses as she took the leading role.
The air crackled with electricity as we stumbled into the bedroom, our lips locked in a frenzy of passion and desire. Wanda's presence was intoxicating, her aura radiating power and dominance in a way I had never experienced before. And as she took the lead, pushing me onto the bed with a hunger that sent shivers down my spine, I felt myself surrendering to the raw intensity of the moment.
Her kisses were demanding, igniting a fire within me that burned hotter with each passing second. I moaned against her lips, my fingers tangling in her hair as I lost myself in the heat of the moment. Her touch was electric, sending shockwaves of pleasure coursing through my body as she explored every inch of my skin with a hunger that left me breathless.
With each caress, each whispered word of desire, I felt myself falling deeper under her spell, my body responding eagerly to her every touch. And as she claimed me as her own, I surrendered to the overwhelming tide of sensation, losing myself in the ecstasy of our shared passion.
In that moment, there was only her, only us, lost in a world of pleasure and desire where nothing else mattered but the intoxicating connection that bound us together. And as we moved as one, bodies entwined in a symphony of passion, I knew that this was just the beginning of our journey together, a journey filled with love, lust, and endless possibility.
The sensation of relinquishing control, of surrendering completely to someone else's will, was both exhilarating and liberating. As I basked in the warmth of Wanda's dominance, I found myself embracing a side of myself that I had long suppressed, a side that craved the thrill of submission and surrender.
With each touch, each whispered command, I felt myself sinking deeper into the abyss of pleasure, my mind consumed by a haze of ecstasy that left me breathless and yearning for more. And as Wanda took the lead, guiding me with a firm yet gentle hand, I found myself surrendering to the overwhelming tide of sensation, losing myself in the intoxicating dance of pleasure and desire.
In her arms, I felt safe, cherished, and utterly alive, my body responding eagerly to her every touch and caress. And as we moved together in a symphony of passion and desire, I embraced the freedom that came with letting go, allowing myself to be swept away by the currents of our shared passion.
For in that moment, there was only her, only us, lost in a world of blissful surrender where nothing else mattered but the exquisite pleasure of our connection. And as we surrendered to the ecstasy of our shared desire, I knew that this was just the beginning of our journey together, a journey filled with exploration, discovery, and boundless pleasure.
"Ah...Wands..." A smack hit my thigh making me jolt and yelp.
"That's not my name Detka." I feel my stomach flip. I call her this all the time. I have for years now, but never in this setting. Another smack and then her teeth find my skin, biting and sucking harshly, marking me.
"Mommy!" I can feel the smirk against my thigh.
"Good girl. Go on. Show me how needy you are baby girl." Her fingers find themselves between my folds as I move my hips against them.
The sensation of her touch sent shivers of pleasure coursing through me, igniting a fire that burned hotter with each passing moment. I arched my back, pressing against her fingers as they explored the depths of my desire, teasing and tantalizing with a skill that left me trembling with need.
"Please," I whimpered, the word spilling from my lips in a desperate plea for more. Her touch was electric, sending shockwaves of pleasure coursing through my body as she pushed me to the brink of ecstasy.
With each caress, each stroke, I felt myself teetering on the edge of oblivion, my senses overwhelmed by the intensity of our shared passion. And as she whispered words of encouragement, urging me to let go and surrender to the pleasure that awaited, I felt myself surrendering completely to the overwhelming tide of sensation.
In that moment, there was only her, only us, lost in a world of blissful abandon where nothing else mattered but the exquisite pleasure of our connection. And as I succumbed to the ecstasy of our shared desire, I knew that this was just the beginning of our journey together, a journey filled with passion, intensity, and boundless pleasure.
The sensation of Wanda's magic enveloping my wrists sent a thrill of anticipation coursing through me, a tangible reminder of her power and dominance. I tested the restraints, feeling the firm hold of her magic as it kept me securely in place, my heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and arousal.
"Safe word. Green, yellow, red. Green is keep going, yellow slow down, red is stop." Wanda husked.
"Green, yellow, red," I echoed, committing the safe words to memory as a reassurance of our mutual trust and consent. With each breath, each whispered command, I felt myself sinking deeper into the heady haze of pleasure, surrendering completely to the overwhelming tide of sensation.
As Wanda continued to explore my body with a skillful touch that left me trembling with need, I surrendered myself to the ecstasy of our shared desire, knowing that in her arms, I was safe, cherished, and utterly alive.
And as the intensity of our passion grew with each passing moment, I found myself teetering on the edge of oblivion, my senses overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of our connection. In that moment, there was only her, only us, lost in a world of blissful abandon where nothing else mattered but the exquisite pleasure of our shared desire.
I don't think there is a place she hasn't marked on me in some way and after hours of edging until I couldn't form sentences she finally let me release. A string of moans ripping through me as the most intense waves roll over me as I drown in them, covered in sweat and her marks.
As the waves of pleasure washed over me, leaving me trembling and spent, I basked in the afterglow of our shared passion, my body still tingling with the echoes of our ecstasy. But just when I thought the intensity had peaked, I felt something pressing against my entrance, a sensation that sent a jolt of anticipation coursing through me.
I gasped, my body instinctively tensing as Wanda's touch ignited a new wave of desire within me. Her fingers teased and tantalized, exploring the depths of my desire with a skill that left me breathless and eager for more.
With each gentle thrust, I felt myself opening up to her, surrendering completely to the overwhelming tide of sensation. The pleasure was exquisite, a symphony of ecstasy that echoed through every fiber of my being as I lost myself in the blissful abandon of our shared desire.
And as Wanda continued to guide me with a firm yet gentle hand, I surrendered myself to the pleasure of our connection, knowing that in her arms, I was safe, cherished, and utterly alive. In that moment, there was only her, only us, lost in a world of blissful abandon where nothing else mattered but the exquisite pleasure of our shared desire.
Wanda soon enough needed more and so did I, "Faster...ha-ah...harder..." My breath hot against her, panting like a dog and that gave her the perfect opportunity to place her fingers in my mouth, gaging me with them, but I loved every second as I sucked on them, moaning against them as I tasted myself on them from earlier.
The sensation of Wanda's fingers in my mouth sent a thrill of arousal coursing through me, a heady mixture of pleasure and desire that left me panting and eager for more. With each thrust, each gasp of pleasure, I eagerly sucked on her fingers, tasting myself on them from earlier.
The taste was intoxicating, a symphony of desire that heightened the intensity of our connection as we moved together in perfect harmony. And as Wanda responded to my pleas with a fervor that mirrored my own, I surrendered myself to the pleasure of our shared desire, knowing that in her arms, I was safe, cherished, and utterly alive.
With each thrust, I felt myself teetering on the edge of oblivion, my senses overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of our passion. And as we reached the peak of ecstasy together, I knew that this was just the beginning of our journey, a journey filled with passion, intensity, and boundless pleasure.
In that moment, there was only her, only us, lost in a world of blissful abandon where nothing else mattered but the exquisite pleasure of our shared desire. And as we surrendered ourselves to the ecstasy of our connection, I knew that this was just the beginning of our journey together, a journey filled with love, lust, and endless possibility.
As I slowly regained my senses, the cool towel on the back of my neck and Wanda's comforting presence helped anchor me in reality. Her magic gently caressed my mind, offering reassurance and care as I took in the aftermath of our intense encounter.
"Easy, Detka. You're okay," she murmured, and I found solace in the warmth of her embrace. I took the offered water bottle, sipping slowly as she continued to tend to my well-being. The realization that I had passed out from pleasure left me both surprised and amused.
"Never happened before," I admitted with a chuckle. "The other Wanda was more of a sub, so I was usually the one in control. Not that I didn't enjoy it, but being on the receiving end is a whole different experience."
Wanda's magic fetched a baggy shirt, and as I recognized it, a wave of nostalgia washed over me. It was a shirt from a concert we attended when we were sixteen, a tangible link to our shared past.
"It's good to know not everything is different," I remarked, smiling as she kissed my temple.
In the warmth of our makeshift cocoon, surrounded by blankets and pillows, Wanda's magic weaving a protective barrier around us, we continued to watch 'Bob's Burgers.' However, my focus was no longer on the show; instead, I found myself captivated by the woman holding me close.
A sudden wave of fear and doubt crashed over me as I wondered if this intimate encounter was just a one-time gesture to alleviate my grief. The fear of being tossed aside after a momentary respite haunted my thoughts, threatening to overshadow the joy we had just shared.
Wanda, sensing my internal struggle, gently addressed my concerns. "Hey, woah, Detka. Those thoughts of yours are the farthest thing from the truth. Do not listen to them. I would never do that to my soulmate," she reassured me, her forehead finding mine in a tender gesture of connection.
"I love you, Y/N," she confessed, her words washing away my fears and opening the floodgates to a cascade of happy tears. "I love you, Wands! I didn't think I'd ever get to hear you say those words to me again," I admitted, clinging to her shirt as I sobbed into her.
Wanda's promises echoed in my heart, a vow to cherish and reaffirm our love every day. She kissed away my tears, each tender touch a testament to the depth of her commitment. "I promise I'm going to say it every chance I get. I'm never going to stop. I'm going to remind you every day how beautiful you are and how much I love you, and I promise I'm never going to leave. No missions. Nothing like that. I'll always be by your side," she declared, her own tears mingling with mine.
In that moment, as we drowned in each other's love, I knew that this second chance at happiness was a gift we would both cherish. And as Wanda whispered, "I love you," over and over, I felt the weight of my grief lifting, replaced by the warmth of a love that transcended time and space.
========
In the midst of my peaceful dream, I found myself enveloped in a sense of tranquility unlike any I had experienced in well over a year. Waking up with a smile on my face I turn my head, looking over I gazed upon the sleeping form of Wanda, her features softened by the gentle embrace of slumber, I felt a rush of overwhelming love and affection welling up within me.
With a playful smile tugging at the corners of my lips, I leaned in closer, pressing gentle kisses along the curve of her neck. Each tender touch elicited a soft moan from her lips, a melody of pleasure that echoed through the stillness of the night.
Lost in the intoxicating embrace of our shared intimacy, I continued to shower her with affection, reveling in the warmth of her presence and the depth of our connection. And as I whispered her name, a soft murmur of adoration, I knew that this moment, this fleeting glimpse of happiness, was a treasure to be cherished for all eternity.
As Wanda began to stir awake, her voice still heavy with sleep, I couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for her. Her words, though tinged with a hint of warning, only served to deepen the bond between us.
"You're playing a dangerous game, kotenok," she murmured, her voice laced with sleepiness.
"Shchenok," I corrected gently, a small smile playing on my lips.
Her eyes snapped open at the correction, surprise evident in her expression. "When did you learn that?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.
I shrugged, the memories of our shared past flooding back to me. "I was with her for like 20 years of our lives. I learned most Russian. Also Natasha, she..." My voice trailed off as Wanda's expression shifted, a wave of sadness washing over her.
"Oh my god, I forgot about Natasha. Is... is she alive here?" she asked, tears welling up in her eyes.
I nodded solemnly, feeling a pang of empathy for the pain she must be feeling. Crawling into her lap, I wrapped my arms around her, offering what comfort I could. "You really lost a lot there, dorogoya," I whispered, my voice soft with compassion. "But don't worry, everyone here is safe. We've apparently had it relatively easy here, it seems."
I pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, my heart overflowing with love and gratitude for this woman who had endured so much. "Now you have your loved ones back. You aren't alone anymore, and you won't ever be again. I promise."
==============
As the weekend unfolded, Wanda and I remained entwined in each other's arms, our connection deepening with each passing moment. When the boys returned home with their uncle Pietro, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and affection, a tangible sense of family that enveloped us all.
Pietro's hug was tight, filled with an unspoken understanding that transcended words. In his whispered question, "Did you guys finally connect?" I detected a mixture of curiosity and genuine concern.
With a small nod and a soft "Mmhmm," I confirmed what he already knew. This Wanda wasn't his real sister, just as she wasn't the Wanda I had known and loved for decades. But she was here, she was special, and in her embrace, I found a sense of solace and belonging that I had thought lost forever.
==============
As the following Friday arrived, Wanda and I made the decision to gather our friends and family together to share the details of our new lives. It was a momentous occasion, filled with a mix of anticipation and apprehension as we prepared to unveil the truth about our extraordinary circumstances.
Gathering our loved ones in a familiar setting, we began to recount the events that had led us to this moment, explaining the complexities of our intertwined destinies and the newfound connections we had forged. With each word, we sought to convey the depth of our emotions, the challenges we had overcome, and the hope that now burned bright within our hearts.
As our gathering unfolded, the emotions in the room were palpable, each hug and embrace a testament to the depth of our shared experiences and the bonds that bound us together.
Wanda's first instinct was to embrace Natasha tightly, their bodies trembling with sobs as they clung to each other. For both of them, it was a moment of overwhelming relief and joy, the realization that they had been given a second chance to be reunited with someone they had feared lost forever.
Next was Clint, the stalwart friend and ally who had saved Wanda countless times in her timeline, offering comfort and support when she needed it most. As they embraced, the weight of their shared history hung heavy in the air, a reminder of the trials they had faced and the strength they had found in each other's presence.
In that moment, surrounded by friends and family who had become like kin, Wanda and I felt a profound sense of gratitude for the bonds that had been forged through adversity. And as we shared stories and memories, laughter mingling with tears, we knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, drawing strength from the love and support that surrounded us.
As our friends and family listened intently, their expressions shifting from surprise to understanding, we felt a sense of relief wash over us. To have our loved ones by our side, supporting us through this journey, was a gift beyond measure.
And as we concluded our explanation, surrounded by the warmth and love of those closest to us, we knew that no matter what the future held, we would face it together, united in our shared bond and unwavering commitment to one another.
As the night wore on and the festivities continued, Stephen pulled me aside, his expression grave with concern. "You know what she's done in her universe, right?" he asked, his voice tinged with urgency.
I bristled at his question, feeling a surge of defensiveness rise within me. "Do not start this, Strange," I warned, jabbing a finger in his direction. "If I had gone through what she had, this universe wouldn't even exist. What she did, in my eyes, is child's play compared to the horrors she endured."
My words carried a weight of conviction, a steadfast belief in Wanda's resilience and the sacrifices she had made to protect those she loved. And as I met Stephen's gaze, I saw a flicker of understanding in his eyes, a silent acknowledgment of the depth of Wanda's strength and the magnitude of her courage.
"She threw a tantrum essentially. Took over a town for a bit and then went on a killing spree to get here. I saw it through her eyes. I know if it had been me, you'd be lucky if America had still been standing," I asserted, a hint of steel in my voice as I tapped the power stone embedded in my chest.
The reminder of the immense power at my disposal served as both a warning and a declaration. Wanda's actions in her universe were a testament to the depths of her grief and the consequences of unchecked power. In contrast, I recognized the responsibility that came with wielding such force, a responsibility I vowed to use wisely to protect those I loved.
As the weight of our conversation lingered, Stephen nodded in acknowledgment, a silent understanding passing between us. The night continued, but the specter of the past and the potential for the future hung in the air, a reminder that even in moments of celebration, the shadows of our pasts were never truly far behind.
"I don't think you understand, my strength isn't superhuman, it's otherworldly. The precision it requires to ensure I don't break everything around me at any given moment is a delicate balance. With one punch, I wouldn't just put a crater in the earth, I'd break it in half," I emphasized, underscoring the magnitude of the power I possessed.
The distinction between superhuman strength and the cosmic force I wielded was crucial to grasp. While others might possess extraordinary abilities, mine was on a different scale altogether, capable of reshaping the very fabric of reality itself. It was a responsibility that weighed heavily on me, requiring a level of control and restraint beyond what most could comprehend.
As I spoke, I could sense the gravity of my words sinking in, the realization dawning on Stephen of the immense power at my command. It was a sobering reminder of the delicate balance between strength and responsibility, a balance that I vowed to uphold no matter the cost.
"I'm sorry, Y/N, I just wanted to remind you-" Stephen began, but I swiftly cut him off, my tone firm yet understanding. "Don't, Stephen. I know you're just trying to help. I don't need the reminder though," I assured him, acknowledging his concern while asserting my own understanding of the situation.
With a nod of acceptance, Stephen backed off, respecting my boundaries and allowing me to return to the comforting embrace of Wanda, who had been engaged in conversation with Natasha and Clint. As I settled back into her arms, the warmth of her presence enveloped me, a reassuring reminder of the love and support that surrounded me.
In that moment, surrounded by friends and family, I felt a sense of peace wash over me, a quiet reassurance that no matter the challenges we faced, we would face them together, united in our shared bonds and unwavering commitment to one another.
As Wanda continued her conversation with Natasha and Clint, her fingers traced delicate patterns on my hip, their touch a gentle caress that spoke volumes of the journey she had undertaken. Once stained with blood, those same hands now exuded a tenderness and compassion that belied the darkness of the past.
Feeling the soothing rhythm of her touch, I couldn't help but marvel at the transformation Wanda had undergone, the evolution from a place of pain and turmoil to one of healing and redemption. It was a testament to her resilience and strength, a reminder that even in the face of adversity, it was possible to find light amidst the shadows.
In that moment, as her touch danced across my skin, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for the woman before me, for the love and forgiveness she had extended, and for the hope that now blossomed within our hearts. And as our conversation continued, I knew that no matter what trials lay ahead, we would face them together, bound by the unbreakable bond of love and understanding that had brought us to this moment.
As the room suddenly filled with the energetic presence of our children, along with Clint's youngest and Kate close behind, my boys bounded into mine and Wanda's arms with cries for help. "Moms! Save us from the monster!" they pleaded, their laughter filling the air.
I chuckled as I gathered them close, feeling their warmth and energy envelop me in a comforting embrace. Glancing over, I caught sight of Kate playfully tickling Nathaniel, the mischievous grin on her face confirming my suspicions.
With a smile, I joined Wanda in rescuing our boys from the clutches of the imaginary monster, enveloping them in hugs and laughter as we reveled in the joy of family and friendship. In that moment, surrounded by the ones we loved most, I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the blessings that filled our lives, each smile and laugh a reminder of the happiness that awaited us in the days to come.
As the boys began to drift off to sleep in my arms, I couldn't help but smile at the sight. "I think it's time to go, my love," I murmured to Wanda, gesturing towards our sleeping sons. Despite their ten years, I scooped them up effortlessly, their weight feeling light in my arms.
A momentary look of surprise flickered across Wanda's face, her gaze lingering on me as she seemed to momentarily forget about my strength. At just 4'11, I was indeed petite for someone with such power, a fact that often caught others off guard.
With a soft chuckle, I gently adjusted the boys in my arms, their peaceful expressions a testament to the love and security they felt in our embrace. As we prepared to leave, I felt a surge of gratitude for the family we had become, bound together by love and the unbreakable bond of kinship. With Wanda by my side, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, united in our shared love and determination to protect those we held dear.
As I glanced over at Wanda, watching the tender expression on her face as she looked upon our sleeping sons, my heart swelled with love and gratitude. The depth of emotion reflected in her eyes filled me with a sense of warmth and contentment, knowing that our family was complete and our bond unbreakable.
In that moment, as we stood together, surrounded by the quiet stillness of the night, I felt a profound sense of peace wash over me. The love that radiated between us and enveloped our children was a testament to the strength of our connection, a bond forged in the fires of adversity and tempered by the trials we had faced together.
As we prepared to depart, I reached out to take Wanda's hand, intertwining our fingers in a silent gesture of unity and love. With a shared smile, we turned and made our way home, our hearts full and our spirits lifted by the knowledge that no matter what challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, as a family.
===========
Wanda and I are on the couch when she asks, "Do you have photo albums of the boys?" I look at her, peeling my eyes from the TV as I pause it.
"Of course." I get up grabbing several albums of almost everything of their lives. "After we left the Avengers I took solace in capturing moments so we have a lot." I tell her as she starts through her pregnancy photos one of every month. Then the hospital photos of her giving birth. The look of pure happiness and bliss on both our faces as we held the boys. Both of us having skin to skin contact with them. As Wanda goes through the albums she starts crying.
"I missed out on so much because of my magic..." she whispered solemnly. "They went from babies, to 5, to 10 all because of words I said...Y/N...I missed everything." Knowing that Wanda had used her magic to create our boys in her universe and not anything like how we had here made her incredibly sad. I hate seeing her like this.
"How about I show you. Their first words, their first steps, everything." With a gentle touch, I leaned in closer to her, resting my forehead against hers as I offered her a silent gesture of comfort and solidarity. Feeling her fingers against my temples, I closed my eyes and allowed the memories to flow, every precious moment from the joyous announcement of her pregnancy to the bittersweet final days we shared together playing out before her.
As the memories unfolded like a vivid tapestry, I watched as Wanda's tears began to subside, replaced by a sense of wonder and awe. Through the magic of our shared recollections, she was able to witness the milestones she had missed, the laughter and love that had filled our home in her absence.
In that moment, as we shared in the memories of our past, I felt a renewed sense of hope blossom within me. Though Wanda may have missed out on so much, I was determined to make every moment from this point forward count, to cherish the time we had together and to create new memories that would fill the void left by the past.
With a gentle smile, I wrapped my arms around her, holding her close as we basked in the warmth of our shared love. And as the echoes of our memories faded into the night, I knew that no matter what trials lay ahead, we would face them together, united in our unwavering commitment to one another and to our family.
As I looked into Wanda's eyes, feeling the weight of her sadness and longing, I knew that I had to do everything in my power to ease her pain and make up for the lost time. With a gentle touch, I cupped her cheek in my hand, my thumb brushing away the tears that lingered there.
"Everything with them feels too quick and also a lifetime," I whispered softly, my heart swelling with love and determination. "But now that you're here with us, you'll get to experience it all with me. Together."
In that moment, as we shared in our shared resolve to embrace the present and forge ahead as a family, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. No matter what challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, united in our love and commitment to one another.
With a tender smile, I leaned in to press a gentle kiss against Wanda's forehead, silently promising to cherish every moment we shared and to make up for the lost time in any way I could. Together, we would build a future filled with love, laughter, and endless memories, united in our bond as a family.
Once we put the albums away, shut the TV off for the night we headed upstairs. Stopping to look in at the boys sleeping peacefully before heading to our own room, getting ourselves ready for bed. As I climb in, stretching out, Wanda climbs on top of me. I bite my bottom lip, looking up at her. I can see the look she has. I wrap my arms around her neck, gently trying to pull her down. She doesn't budge.
"Did you want something, shchenok?" Between the look in her eyes, the sound of her voice, and her in just a tank top of sleep shorts I'm weak to her completely under her not just physically.
"Want you. Need you." I tell her trying again to pull and when she still doesn't budge. I pout and whine. "Wands...please.."
As Wanda's hands worked their magic, binding mine above my head with a delicate yet firm touch, I felt a rush of excitement and anticipation coursing through me. With each tug of her magic, I was rendered powerless, completely at her mercy as she explored my body with a hunger that ignited a fire within me.
"Behave and we'll see where it goes," she husked, her words sending shivers down my spine as she pushed up my shirt, her lips finding purchase on my chest with an intensity that left me breathless. The sensation of her teeth grazing my skin, her tongue tracing patterns across my flesh, sent waves of pleasure radiating through me, making me squirm and writhe beneath her touch.
As I felt myself slipping deeper into subspace, surrendering to the heady mix of pleasure and vulnerability, I couldn't help but lose myself in the moment, giving in completely to the sensations that engulfed me. With each kiss, each caress, I felt myself unraveling, consumed by the overwhelming desire that burned between us.
In that moment, as I surrendered myself to Wanda's tender ministrations, I felt a profound sense of connection and intimacy that transcended the physical realm. With her by my side, I knew that I was safe, cherished, and loved beyond measure, and as I surrendered to the ecstasy of the moment, I knew that our bond would only grow stronger with each passing day.
Wanda plays with me and teases me for hours and I can't even remember how many times she's pushed me over the edge of ecstasy. As she brought me to another one as she slammed into me with a magic strap-on she'd conjured up, my mind already drowning in subspace, barely able to form words, but one slips out and then a few more,
"Mommy...gonna...ah-ha...ah..." After my words she sped up leaning down to whisper in my ear,
"That's right cum for Mommy like a good girl. Mommy's gonna cum with you. Gonna fill you up and breed you baby girl." As she whispered those final words in my ear, her voice a husky growl of lust and desire, I felt myself shattering into a million pieces, my entire being consumed by the ecstasy of release. With a cry of pure ecstasy, I let myself fall over the edge, my body trembling with the force of my climax as I surrendered myself entirely to the pleasure that engulfed me. Feeling her fill me up completely made my eyes roll back and the only word I could comprehend was, “Mommy.”
In that moment, as I basked in the afterglow of our shared ecstasy, I knew that I was exactly where I belonged, wrapped in the arms of the woman I loved more than anything in the world.

Mob Bucky walking into the kitchen and picking you up to carry you out to the bedroom when you spent whole day cooking. You argue that you still need to bake two pies and make a salad, or something, but Bucky doesn't care.
"You spent the past two days on your feet. Now you're gonna spend the next twenty four hours on your back. Maybe on hands and knees, if I feel like it."
Hahahaha! Because we WOULD. But it's our chef heart!

James was calling your name, but you didn’t hear him until he was in the kitchen with you.
“What the hell are you doing?”
You didn’t register the dangerous chill in his tone either, too busy skimming your fingers back over the recipe you were studying, frowning back at the mixture in the metal bowl whipping up in front of you.
“Mmm,” you hummed, completely focused on your work, “will you taste this?” You reached for one of the small spoons in a jar on the counter, dipped it into the bowl, and held it out for your mob boss.
He crossed the kitchen and was at your side in an instant. You only looked his way briefly enough to thrust the spoon into his mouth just as he opened it to speak again. You reached for another spoon to taste the custard’s current status for yourself.
“It definitely needs the nutmeg,” you murmured, wondering why the recipe you were referencing didn’t have any listed.
“You definitely need to be out of this kitchen!” James ordered.
You whipped your head back to glare at him. “I promised I would bring pie to the brunch, James.”
“And you’ve already made one.”
“But I didn’t make that pie for the brunch! It’s the backup pecan pie, and everyone deserves to have pie that was intended for the brunch. Pecan pie is not a proper brunch pie,” you argued. “I really should make a fruit pie to go along with this buttermilk pie, too,” you added for yourself, tone dropping back to your concentrated cooking tone.
“No! I forbid it!”
“You forbid it?”
“Yes, I forbid it! Against my better judgement, I tolerated you cooking the holiday meal with our families, but you spent the past two days on your feet when you’re supposed to be off, chef.”
He pulled the spoon out of your right hand and the spatula out of your left, flung them onto the counter, and flung you over his shoulder.
“James Buchanan Barnes!”
He didn’t speak as he walked you out of the kitchen and down the hallway. You squirmed a bit – knowing with all his strength there was no way he would let you fall, but also wanting to protest over being dragged away from your task.
He tossed you unceremoniously onto the bed and was on you immediately.
His large frame trapped you beneath him, though you tried to squirm away. He took each of your hands and pinned them in one of his above your head, while his other hand grabbed your jaw and angled your face for him to perfectly capture your lips in a kiss. He forced his tongue against yours, and immediately you could taste the sweetness of the custard still lingering in his mouth. He kissed you until you stopped struggling, softening beneath him. He released your hands, and you wound one around his neck and the other through his hair. His free hand didn’t stay free for even a second before it was palming your breast through your shirt, and you moaned.
Finally, he broke of the kiss, but only moving his head back a fraction of an inch.
“Damn you,” you breathed against his lips, but you knew from the look in his eyes that he knew he’d demanded and earned your utter and complete surrender.
“You’re going to spend the next twenty-four hours on your back,” he said. He pressed a kiss to the corner of your mouth, then drew the heat along your jaw and down your neck. The desire in your core was fully ablaze, and you could feel how wet you were already growing between your thighs.
He nipped at your collarbone, and you gasped.
“Maybe on hands and knees if I feel like it,” he added as he ripped the front of your shirt open.
The audacity of this man! you thought while you could still think.
An audacity that you gladly put up with until well after midnight as he had you cumming more than once on his cock, then woke up to first thing with his head between your thighs.

Can I ask for Natasha x reader where one of them calls the other one by their real name and the other one freaks out because they usually call them by petnames? Thanks!
Of course! I always love fics based off this idea 💞 this is kind of angsty because I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff alright 😭 also Малыш is supposed to mean baby in Russian, but I honestly have no idea how accurate that is
Terms of Endearment (Natasha Romanoff x reader)
Warnings: mentions of insecurity/self depreciating thoughts, not really hurt/comfort but also kind of?? Idk
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You and your girlfriend Natasha had always been fond of using petnames for each other, often more so than your actual names themselves. Whether it be honey, sweetheart, darling, or simply just babe, you never ran out of cutesy names to call each other. But as much as you loved hearing the never ending abundance of pet names roll off Natasha's tongue, what you didn't love was how often you got teased for it.
You knew the other members of the team didn't mean anything by it and would stop if they knew how much it upset you, but the problem was you didn't really have a good reason for feeling that way. It seemed silly just thinking about it, childish even. So you kept your mouth shut, laughing along at their meaningless jokes as you made yourself a promise to cut down on the cheesy nicknames.
You hoped Natasha wouldn't notice the lack endearing terms on your part, but she did, of course. She always noticed the small things nobody else picked up on. It came with the job description of being an assassin.
Although she'd noticed it, she couldn't understand why there was a sudden change in your behavior, especially when she knew how much you loved the petnames you had for each other.
Because of this, she cut down on the petnames, too, and only used them when you were alone, hoping maybe she could solve the problem that way, even if she didn't know what it was.
It all came it a head one day when you were cooking together. It was just the two of you, everyone else either busy or in another part of the Avengers base.
Natasha was standing by the stove, making some sort of soup. "Малыш, could you hand me the salt?" She asked after tasting it and realizing it needed something.
The way you tensed up at the name she used for you did not fly past her, and it caused her to let out a small sigh. "Are you okay? You haven't been using nearly as many petnames for me as you used to, and I've noticed whenever I use them you seem... upset. Even when we're alone."
You let out a sigh yourself, knowing it wouldn't do you any good to lie about it. "I... I was hoping you wouldn't notice." You began meekly, looking down.
Natasha had a slight frown on her face as she turned towards you fully. "And why is that?" Her tone was gentle, but firm. It was clear she wasn't going to let you leave without some sort of explanation.
"It- its not you. Or me. Its the others," you confess quietly. "I didn't really like the way they teased me whenever I called you honey or babe, so I stopped all together."
She nodded her head, the pieces suddenly falling into place. "Ah, so that's why. At first, I thought I'd done something to tick you off." She joked, it making her heart warm to hear the laugh that came from you after.
"No, it wasn't that, and even if it was, you know I could never stay mad at you." You said playfully, finally handing her the salt.
She took it from you and added some to the pot on the stove before speaking again. "I'll talk to everybody, and tell them to lay off on the teasing, that way you won't have to worry about it anymore."
You gave her a loving smile, your tone filled with gratitude. "Thanks, hon."
She smiled back at the petname before giving you a soft kiss. "Of course, darling. Anything for you."

Peter slid the window up quietly, climbing onto the ceiling with grace. Dropping onto the floor, he looked around, seeing the room was void of people- one person in particular. His girlfriend, Y/N L/N, should've been in his room.
"Y/N?" He whispered. No response.
He invited you for dinner with him and May, yet, you weren't there. He dropped his suit and changed into a crewneck and jeans.
"May?"
"Oh! Pete, you're back?" May called out from the other room. Her footsteps approached Peter's door.
"Yup," he pursed his lips into a smile and nodded.
"I didn't hear you come in. I must've been deep into the movie I was watching. It's a really good action movie I think you'd like, Pete."
"Yeah, I'll see it with you another time. Uh, did Y/N happen to come here already?"
May furrowed her brows as if she was thinking. "Mmm, no. She was supposed to for dinner, right?"
"Yeah. Maybe something got in the way. I-I'll call her."
"OK, I'll go start on dinner, though."
Peter shut his door, dialing your number. It rang until it hit your voicemail. That worried the high schooler. You usually answered, especially on a night when you two had plans. Except, that was usually- before the past two weeks. You were becoming late to answering texts and calls, but this was the first time you ditched on plans.
He sat on the edge of his bed, his phone and hands on his lap. The more he thought about it, the more he realized how off you'd been acting.
Did he do something? Did you do something?
Maybe he was overthinking. He probably was.
Peter dialed your number once again, listening to it go to voicemail. He shot you a quick text and decided to let the matter rest until you answered.
He lay on his bed, phone at his side, waiting for a buzz. He'd occasionally hear one, yet it was usually for some dumb app.
After ten minutes of lying and thinking, a few knocks were heard at his room door. Peter shot up, hoping it was you. You had just been late, and your phone was dead on the way to his apartment, right?
He groaned and deflated when he saw it was just Aunt May.
"Wow. You're happy to see me," May said facetiously with a chuckle.
"Sorry," Peter shot a guilty smile. "I was hoping it was Y/N."
"Yeah, that's why I'm knocking. She called me and said she wasn't feeling good. Sorry, hun. Update me on how she feels throughout the week."
"Right," Peter nodded. "I will, thanks, May."
"Dinner's ready if you want it."
"I'm actually not very hungry," Peter looked down to the ground. "I'm gonna sleep... long day at school."
"Yeah, get some sleep, sweetie," May nodded with a knowing look, understanding he was upset about you.
***
Spider-Man peered through the window, sticking to the side of your building. He supposed he was being quite creepy, but he desperately wanted to talk to you.
Your blinds were close except for the kink that had always been there. It was mostly dark in your room except for the faint glow of a phone in your bed. He could see your barely illuminated face.
Peter took a deep breath in and knocked lightly at your window. He could see you look up, slightly startled, until you spotted him at the window.
You looked upset at the sight, reluctantly sliding out of your bed to your window. You unlocked the window, bringing it up.
"Peter!" You hissed in a quieter voice. "What are you doing here?" Your face was red up close, and it looked like you'd been crying.
"I- I mean, you weren't replying to your phone, and you didn't come over, so I-"
"So you came to my apartment while my parents are home, and you're in your suit!" You whisper-yelled.
"Well- I- yes," Peter answered in disappointment and shame.
"Peter, you can't be here. Please go."
Peter's heart broke at that. "W-why? I don't get it... I do my best to be a good boyfriend. I thought I did enough?"
You broke down into silent tears. Peter climbed into the room and pulled you into a hug- you embraced it.
"Please, Y/N/N, tell me what's wrong."
"I just-" You say through tears. "My parents say that you barely spend time with me, and they just talk bad about you, and that hurts. A-and the more I thought about it, the more I realized how busy you always are, and the times you aren't out being Spider-Man, you're thinking about Spider-Man work."
"Oh," Peter breathed out. He pulled his mask off, letting it fall to the floor.
"I'd never agree with any of the bad things they said about you- it's just so hard to have your family bash your boyfriend. Sometimes I wonder if they know best."
"I don't know what they said... but I promise I can do better because you're right, and they're right. I haven't given you my all."
"Don't get me wrong- being Spider-Man is so important, and what you do is incredible. I just can't continue a relationship with two different people- it's taking a toll on me. And as much as it pains me... if we need to break up so you can continue being Spider-Man full time, then it's for the best," you choked up more tears. "But I don't wanna break up, Peter."
Peter felt his throat close up. "I don't wanna break up either. I can't ever quit being Spider-Man, but I can be a better Peter. You deserve more, and I'm so sorry. Give me one more chance, and I promise I'll make more time for you."
You hug him tighter. "I trust you. I don't ever want to guilt you, Peter. I'm sorry for pulling away over the past few weeks. I guess it's just been a lot on my mind."
"It's ok. I should be sorry. And, Y/N/N, if you ever need to tell me something important, I promise you can."
You nod. "I know. I guess I thought you'd be upset if you thought I was trying to make you quit your work or break up."
"I would never think that. We're strong- we can make things work."
You chuckle, breaking away from his embrace to sit on your bed. "I'm exhausted now, but at least I feel better."
"I'm glad I came here. I should go, though."
You yawned. "No, don't go. Will you sleep next to me?"
Peter grinned. "What about your parents?"
"Just sneak out before seven."
"Can do," Peter grinned, slipping under the sheets of your bed- wrapping his arms around you as you both drifted off to sleep, knowing things would be okay.

Afterglow
someone requested angst, i wrote angst.
Pairing: Peter Parker (mcu) X Reader
Genre: Angst, fluff
Word Count:7K
Warnings: hint of degradation kink, ifykyk.
Summary: peter shouldn't have said what he did, but you shouldn't have pushed him to do it.
“I think it’s best if you leave now, kid.”
Kid, usually used with endearment left a bitter taste in Tony’s mouth. He adored the kid, loved that his own kid loved this kid, you both were quite the match in Tony’s opinion. He couldn’t think of another person who could even come half close to who Peter was for you, in fact when you finally confided in your dad about your crush on Peter he encouraged you to go after him, and you did.
Tony was proud when you made it official, he knows how much you both deserve each other.
Tony absolutely loved Peter, he took him under his wing and only saw himself in him. But his good self, none of the selfish or hotheadedness or rash thinking. Peter thought things through, he thought of the consequences, and he considered each option tediously.
Correction, Peter usually thought things through carefully and fully. Tony doesn’t see that sign of him tonight.
You and Peter got in a fight, and Tony doesn’t think you ever have. Maybe you’ve just never told him, and he knows you have disagreements and petty arguments but you don’t fight.
If he’s being honest he doesn’t know what about either, he just knows Peter entered through the ground floor and the second the elevators opened he bolted to your door, brushing by without a hi. Peter was on a mission, had one objective in his mind and had no idea that Tony was even watching him enter into his daughter’s bedroom and slam the door shut.
And he left it alone, you can protect yourself, you can defend yourself. So he lets you, and he hears muffled words at first for a while, then it gets quiet, then it gets louder again. Finally he heard shouting, he was hearing bits of conversations.
“-Fucking listen to me! You never-”
“Stop yelling at me! You came in-”
“...And you swore that she..”
“Oh come off it! You’re such a fucking-”
“Peter, stop!”
Tony thinks it’s time to intervene, he was being patient and waiting it out. But he doesn’t like the way this sounds, not because it was becoming toxic, but because he doesn’t want it to ruin anything between you two.
“And if we are being totally honest here, Y/N, I really fucking hate that you act like a fucking-”
A tight hand is clasped on his shoulder, “I think it’s best if you leave now, kid.”
Peter jumps slightly, he didn’t even know Tony was home. Oh, he was, and listening to him berate his daughter.
“Mr. Stark, I’m sorry, I just-”
Peter lowered his gaze from Tony’s dark eyes, he was screaming with rage.
“You don’t apologize to me. You apologize to her, then you leave.”
“Baby, I,” You sniffle and stare at the carpet, you weren’t innocent either but you felt like a little kid on display.
Peter sighs, “Can I talk to her alone? Please, Mr. Stark.”
Tony shakes his head and tightens his hold.
“There’s no need, Parker. Say sorry and leave.”
Peter looks and feels frustrated, he loves Tony but this is an issue between him and his daughter, he wishes Tony would just walk away. Peter continues to stare at you hoping you feel his eyes and look towards him, then he could tell you with no words to tell your dad to get lost.
This was a you and him problem.
“Y/N?” Peter called your name impatiently, you refused to look or speak to him. Tony’s hand was feeling tighter, he wanted to throw it off him.
“Fucking really?” He slapped his hands on his pants, Tony shook his arm slightly.
“Peter, I-”
Peter cut Tony off, Tony didn’t know how to react. This was a battle between boyfriend and dad now, who would win the loyalty?
“You’re gonna let daddy run the relationship now? It’s funny how you can always start a fucking fight but never finish them.”
Finally you glare at him, “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It means you pick! You pick at something until it becomes a big thing then suddenly you want to back out. You started this fight so you should finish it, not cry and play damsel in distress when daddy comes around.”
“Parker!” Tony barks at Peter, he’s never heard him this fired up before. And he literally fights alongside him with some of the worst people.
Peter grunts and shoves Tony’s hand off him, “Fuck off, Tony.”
Tony feels like he’s swallowed his tongue, he doesn’t know where to begin with that one. The fact Peter always refers him to Mr. Stark, or the fact he just told him to fuck off.
“I don’t know where this attitude is coming from, Mr. Parker, but I assure you that calling it a rest for tonight would be best for everyone involved.”
Peter sneered, “Or what? You’ll take my suit and my ‘girlfriend’ will follow daddy’s path and dump me?” He used air quotes around girlfriend, it made you stutter on your breath.
“Sounds like you want me to take the suit.”
“If thats the only thing you can hold over my head, fucking take it. I don’t want it, I don’t want anything in this room right now.” He made sure to burn right through you when he uttered the last part, he made it clear he wanted absolutely nothing to do with you.
“You don’t mean that, right?” You spoke softly, you wanted this to end right now. It was getting too heated, you’ve never seen Peter this livid before. It felt like he was about to dump you.
Peter guffawed and looked amazed, “It’s honestly so impressive to me how great you are at bullshitting, Y/N. I mean you get to pick at this all day long, then you start the fight by saying the worst shit you could, now you're cowering in a corner. Big girl problems come with big girl consequences.”
You blinked at the ground and held back tears, you mumbled out an apology. Tony watches silently, he knows Peter needs to leave but he’s not sure how to do it without hurting you too.
Peter scoffed at your sorry, “You weren’t sorry when you were acting like a bitch-”
Peter is cut off by Tony violently ripping him backwards, “Out. Get the fuck out, right now.”
His eyes widened, he didn’t mean to say that. Well, actually, maybe he did.
“Mr.”
Tony kept a hand on his chest and started pushing, “No. You’re done, you’re leaving and you’ll talk in the morning.”
Peter grunted and pushed his feet to the floor, without the iron suit Tony didn’t have a match for his strength.
“Kid, don’t make me get the suit out. Just leave, you’ve got your point across. Say you’re sorry and we’ll see you in the morning.”
Peter looks confused, “Sorry for what?”
Tony sighs, he wants this to be over. He wants Peter gone.
“For calling my daughter a bitch.”
You look over your dad at Peter and raise the corner of your lip up, the smallest of olive branches. Peter clocks your eyes and you see no reprieve, he looks back at Tony.
He fixes his jacket and nods at Tony, “I’m sorry.”
Tony acknowledges the apology, “Th-”
“That your daughters a bitch.”
Peter feels a bit more satisfied to see the small smile drop from your face, your bottom lip trembles. He’s glad he’s missing out on the theatrics, daddy can clean up the mess.
“Does this mean we’re not dating anymore?” Your voice wobbles, you call out to him before your dad can even think of punching him.
Peter doesn’t clap back as quickly as you thought he would, he’s taking a step back and looking at the situation. It was bad, he thinks he went a little too far but he can’t backtrack now. Especially because he’s still upset over what happened today, he shouldn’t have called you a bitch but he also wanted to hurt you like you did him.
Peter thinks of his rule, arguments between you two were rare and harsh. Way too much emotion got involved and it got heated quickly, he made a rule. No matter how bad the argument never, ever break up in the moment. If he wanted to he could do it the next day, when he was fighting all he could think about was being right, not about preserving the relationship.
He sighs and watches as Tony’s hand pushes him further and further out the door, he looks at you defeated and tired. He tried to open his mouth, to say sorry, to take it back, to let you know he wouldn’t dare break up with you, to let you know he’s pissed but apologetic.
Tony won’t let him.
“Absolutely no words from you, Parker. You lost that privilege. I want you out of my fucking tower in two minutes.” He turns Peter and pushes him towards the elevator, he stays silent and watches as the numbers click down slowly. Each floor he’s lowered he can still hear your bubbled cries as you asked your dad over and over if he dumped you, and Tony sighed and repeated he didn’t know.
You waited almost all morning for Peter, whether it be a text, a phone call, or just showing up. Did Peter go too far last night? Absolutely. Did you aid and abet his behavior, pushing him until he had to bite back? Yeah, you did.
Your dad missed that part, the part where you attacked him first. Called him out in the worst way and nearly publicly shamed him for something he didn’t do, you belittled him so of course Peter felt attacked, then when he was looking to you for help, when he was willing to resolve peacefully you ignored him and pretended he was the bad guy.
You’re not mad he doubled down on calling you a bitch, you were one. And not a cool ass bitch kind of bitch, the pussy, cowardly kind of bitch.
You were just curious if he ended it last night, it didn’t seem like he did, but he was also really, really mad. You genuinely felt like this was more than half your fault, you should tell this to Peter, but you were too much of a bitch.
“Dad?”
Tony looked up from his desk and felt his heart plummet, you stood in his doorway with a blanket that Peter got you thrown over your shoulders, it was printed with your favorite animal. Your hair was frizzy and you had heavy eyes, your clothes looked too big for you, it was almost like you were shrunken into yourself.
“Hey, honey. What’s up?”
You slid your sock covered toe across the hardwood, you bit your lip to try and stop the tremble of your bottom lip, it did nothing. Fat tears gushed from your eyes, you wailed at your dad. You wanted nothing more than for him to take the pain away, you messed up, not Peter.
“I messed up last night and he’s gonna end it!”
Your shoulders shake with each sob and exhale, you’re spiraling. You didn’t mean to push him that far, you got too far into your head and insecurities took over, and now you were going to lose him all because you couldn’t buck up and say sorry first. Tony rushed over to hold you in his grasp, he held so tight you could lean all your weight on him.
“Dad, he can’t dump me, please, Dad. Please tell him I didn’t mean it, please, daddy.” You gulped the words into his chest, he tried shushing you but it was no use.
Peter freezes when he enters the ground level.
He hears your wails, your begging. He can’t breathe, he didn’t know he could make you feel this way. He came to apologize, he should’ve never, ever called you that word.
“Dad, please! Please, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. Tell him I'm sorry, I don’t want him to break-up with me, please don’t let him break up with me!”
Tony tries his best to calm you, it's making things worse.
“Peter’s not going to break up with you, it’s okay.”
You screech, “He is! He is, he is, he is! He hates me, I messed up and I didn’t tell him sorry!”
Peter wants to know why you would think he’s going to dump you. Was he pissed last night? Oh, you betcha he was steaming. Was he pissed you didn’t apologize after you started the entire thing and spin it on him when your dad came barging in? Yeah, he was nearly seeing red.
But he wouldn’t dump you, not at all. And he would’ve told you that last night but your dad made him shut his mouth and it was for the better that he did. He wanted to leave it up to you to call or text, he figured you needed space from him since he’s the one that was verbally abusing you, so when you didn’t reach out he figured he needed a lashing from you in person.
This definitely isn’t what he thought he would walk into.
“Y/N, Y/N! You have to calm down, do you want me to call Peter?”
‘Yes, call Peter. Call me.’ He thinks to himself, he wonders how bad it would be if he walked in. The last thing he wants to do is make it worse.
“No! No, no, no, no! You can’t, he’ll dump me if he sees me, I know it.”
Your breathing is ragged, you feel like you're going to pass out. You hiccup words through your sobs, “You can’t let him do it, dad. Don’t let him end it, please.”
Peter thinks he needs to intervene, the only thing that will calm you is him saying he wasn’t planning, or ever planning to break up with you. It was a real bad fight, the worst you’ve had so far, but he wasn’t going to throw years down the drain over it. If you were his forever he needed to be able to handle a few fights.
He immediately starts to jog down the hall until he hits your dads office. He felt like crying himself when he saw how wrapped up in your dad you were while crying so hard you were gasping.
“Baby?”
It was cautious, gentle even. He didn’t want to upset or alarm you, just wanted to let you know he’s here and not leaving anytime soon.
Tony looks up at him and lets out a breath of relief, he can only do so much here. Peter was the one who could truly fix it.
“Y/N, Peter’s here.” You shook your head in your dads chest.
“Don’t let him do it, dad.”
Tony sighs and presses a kiss to your head, “I don’t think he’s here to end it, squirt. I think he just wants to chat, nicely,” He eyes Peter in the doorway, his eyes only steady on his girlfriend. “Right, Peter?”
He jumps awake, “Huh? Yeah, right. Uh huh.”
Peter takes a small step forward, “Hey, trouble. Wanna come give me a hug?”
You open one eye to peek at him, he didn’t look so bad. You were still terrified he would pull you away and break the news in private, you closed your eye and shuffled in closer to your dad and squeezed, begging him not to let you go. Your sobs stopped, just lingering tears and huffed air.
“No? I missed you so much last night, I think it was the first time in months I didn’t have a goodnight kiss.”
You stayed silent but loosened your hold on Tony some, you sniffled.
“And I was such a dunce I didn’t get a goodbye kiss, your dad had to get me out of here before I missed out on every kiss.” Peter kept talking, he knew it would steady you.
“What do you mean?” Your words were muffled.
Peter’s heart soared, you were talking to him.
“I mean I was so out of line that I wouldn’t blame you if you dumped me.”
You open your eyes and push your dad away some, “I don’t want to dump you, do you want to dump me?”
Peter looked at Tony and tilted his head, and this time Tony knew he needed to disappear.
“Can we talk? I’ll go anywhere you want.” Tony nodded his head in approval, he pointed his chin in Peter’s direction to get you to walk over to him. You held on tight one last time, he’s your protector, he’s not allowed to let boys break your heart. You begged him not to let Peter do this and he’s feeding you to the wolves.
“Dad?” He pushes you away and moves you towards Peter. Your voice broke, he said he wouldn’t do this.
“Peter.” Peter’s eyes moved from your face to Tony’s, his tone warning.
“You’re not allowed to break up with her, understand?”
Your heart warmed, he did have your back.
Peter nodded quickly, “Understood.”
You waddled behind Peter sniffling randomly until you found yourself back in the scene of the crime, your room. You followed in behind him and stood in the middle of the floor unsure of where to go, it was your bedroom but you were acting like you’ve never been in it before.
Your heart raced when Peter shut the door behind him, you held your breath when he let out a sigh, you clenched your fists and squeezed your eyes when he said, “Alright, look.”
You spoke the words stern but slowly, “Dad said you aren’t allowed to dump me.”
He shook his head, you weren’t understanding.
“Baby, I’m not here to break up with you. I’m here to say sorry.”
You opened your eyes and blinked at him, you pulled a face of confusion.
“You’re sorry?”
Peter laughed lightly, “Yes, trouble. I’m sorry.”
You looked around the room, “Okay, but, like, why?”
He drew his eyebrows in, “Darling, I called you a bitch last night. Twice. Pretty sure that’s abusive and vile, nothing to shrug off.”
You looked him up and down, “But I was one.”
He shakes his head immediately, “No, not at all. You-”
“Were being a bitch. You can say it, it’s okay.” You cut him off.
“Baby, no. I was in the wrong-”
You cut him off again, “No, but you’re wrong now. I started it, I instigated it and picked and prodded at you until I backed you into a corner and then when it was time for me to take accountability, I threw you under the bus and pretended I was innocent. I was being a coward. I was an absolute fucking bitch last night and you called me out on my shit and I’m sorry I didn’t have your back. I should’ve defended you against my dad, I was just over it and I didn’t want to admit I was wrong.”
Peter let out a breath, “I shouldn’t have said that, Y/N. It was wrong of me, I don’t want you to excuse it.”
You furrowed your brows and stepped up to him, “I put you in jail for something you didn’t do, I pinned your hands behind your back, and I thought I had reason to attack, but no. We’re gonna have other fights and some of them may be your fault, save your apology for those. Let me say sorry this time.”
“Well then, I accept your apology. And in return I vow to never call you a bitch again,”
You held up a finger, “Unless I deserve it, like last night.” You added.
He grumbled, “Unless you deserve it.”
You shrugged and walked up to him and wrapped your arms around his neck, “It’s okay, really. You know, I even liked it. I think I have a degradation kink.”
“Oh you’re sick.” Peter snorted.
You threw your head back and moaned, “Just like that, give me more.”
Peter squeezed at your arms, “You’re pathetic for crying over me.”
You moved your head back and looked at him and gulped. Peter was scared he took the joke too far.
“Peter, I’m afraid.”
“Why?”
“I’m actually so into this right now, I’m not even kidding.”
Peter looked at you funny, “What verbally abusing you?”
You winked, “Consensually.”
“You really are a sick, twisted bitch.”
Your jaw dropped at his comment, you saw his slick grin crawl across his face.
“Lock the door, Peter. Lock the door!”

Black Widow
Tumblr media
Summary: How a Black Widow made it out of the Red Room, and onto the 141.
Warnings: there’s a lot of talk of trauma in this, explicit smut, threesomes, jealousy, spitroasting, etc, etc, weirdly long (5k)
Notes: the reader was raised (ish) in the red room but this fic is not at all a part of the mcu – it’s just supposed to be the story of a defector, and how she became a part of the 141
kind of felt guilty while writing this bc it made me feel like ghost was cheating on red fox from the fics by @charnelhouse lmao
feedback and comments are very much appreciated!!!

The first memory you have of an outsider is at eleven years old. You and the other girls are sleeping in the dormitory when Madam Ivanova bursts in and opens the handcuffs binding you all to your beds. She pulls the others from their cots, and you almost don’t notice the man that grabs you by the arm.
He’s wearing a hat you’ve never seen before, and that immediately scares you – you don’t recognize him.
“I’ve found the girls!” he shouts, and others pour in, armed to the teeth. Madam Ivanova is still guiding other girls out of the room, and you can see the fear in her eyes. She’s not a kind person, but she takes care of you. Nothing bad has ever happened to you when you were with her.
Nothing like this.
So you turn around, and punch the man square in the face. It takes him aback, and he stumbles backwards. It gives you just enough time to run from him.
Later, you learn that his name is Price, and that he is with the British. An enemy of the Red Room.
Seven years later, you come face to face with him again. You’re three years into active duty, serving the Red Room, and you look drastically different from what you looked like at eleven.
It’s a mistake from another girl that causes your capture. It’s his face that you see first when the hood is pulled off your face.
In the past few years, he’s been the face of your nightmares, so you stay silent. It surprises you when the British don’t torture you. Instead, they offer you a deal. Provide them with the intel they want, and be free of the Red Room.
It takes you three months to accept that deal, and one more to get Price and his colleague Laswell the things they want.
They give you your pardon, and you move to New Zealand, as far away from Russia and Great Britain as you can.
With a fake passport, fake birth certificate and fake story, you leave all of it behind.
You wake up early, shrieking out of your sleep from a nightmare. Your first thought is to call Sarina, an old colleague who also made it out, but you know that she’s still asleep – at least the people in her time zone are. Instead, your feet carry you outside to the lake.
You fish around in your jacket, finding a cigarette and lighter. There’s a nervous feeling in your gut, ever-present. Trained into you since you can remember. This country is the safest and most isolated you could manage, and yet, there’s always the imperative of looking over your shoulder.
You hear Price walking onto the gravelly beach before you see him.
“You know I moved here to be left alone, right?” you tell him, taking another draw from your cigarette.
“I’ve got a job for you.” Price says instead, and you shake your head.
“I’m done with contracting work.”
“So you live off of government support and the intel you sell on the dark web?” he asks.
“That’s my business.”
“It’s about the Red Room.”
You pause, glancing over at him. He looks sincere, but you can also see the earpiece he’s wearing.
“Laswell on the comms?” you asked. You still remember the woman, distrusting as fuck from the moment she met you.
“Yeah. She’s helping with coordinating the team.”
You snort with disdain. “I don’t work in teams. We aren’t trained to.”
“You’ll like them.” Price promises.
“I doubt it. I don’t like you very much.”
Price gives you a dry laugh, and you know he doesn’t take it as personally as you want him to.
“I know that this is personal to you. You got out at eighteen – that’s later than most. You know what they do.”
“Ask any other defector. Sarina, or Antonya. I’m not interested.” You tell him firmly.
“We’re not taking many prisoners from the Red Room.” Price begins again, and you’re about to cut him off. “You can kill the head. Get the girls safe, and you can do with Dreykov whatever you want.”
The offer is too tempting to turn down. To be able to kill the man that ruined your life? The man that ruined the lives of all those other girls?
“I’m in.” you say, and Price gives you a grim smile in return.
“Pack your things. You can meet the team in England.”
Soap
Price had said that he was going to New Zealand for business. He hadn’t realized that ‘business’ entailed a woman.
“That yer girlfriend?” Soap asked, and the woman gave him a look so mean that she almost compared to Ghost.
“I’d hope not.” Price replied. “I’d be dead before morning.”
The woman sat down at the end of the table silently. She looked around, before her hands grabbed a pack of cigarettes from her jacket, lighting it up again.
Ghost was quiet too, but fuck, he knew Ghost. This woman didn’t say a single fucking word, but Soap still knew that Price didn’t have any kind of power over her.
“What’s the mission?” he asked impatiently, and Price set down a stack of Manila folders onto the table.
Laswell pushed off from the wall she’d been leaning against, pulling one of the folders from the stack.
“To most special operatives, the Red Room is a myth. A story made up by the KGB, and nothing more. But the Red Room exists, and we’re going to take it down.”
The woman made a sound for the first time, and it was a disdainful laugh. The others turned to stare at her, but Laswell cleared her throat to redirect their attention back to the right person.
“Over the years, the US and Britain have worked together to take the Red Room down, but it’s evolved from a KGB branch to a human trafficking ring. They take young girls off the streets all over the world and turn them into trained killers, mostly targeting politicians. Taking down the Red Room would mean putting a stop to their ongoing crimes and potentially explain some of the most unclear assassinations of the past seventy years.” Laswell said.
Soap glanced over to the woman, who was watching Laswell with close to no emotion on her face. Stubbing her cigarette on the steel table she leaned back, crossing her arms in front of her chest.
“And she’ll be a part of that?” Gaz asked, nodding to her.
Price nodded. “Her call sign is Black Widow.”
“Got a name too?” Soap asked, and she told him, quickly. Quietly.
“What do you do in the field?” Gaz asked her. Soap noticed that Ghost was watching her closely, as if he expected her to pull a gun on the team.
“Hand to hand combat, espionage, sexpionage. I can be a sniper if you want me to.” She answered quickly.
“She’s here to show you the way into the Red Room and make the girls there trust you enough to get them out.” Price added.
“What, don’t want to get punched by a kid again?” she said, and Price rolled his eyes. They knew each other, but they didn’t like each other at all.
When the meeting ended, the team began to file out of the room, but Soap stayed behind, hoping to catch her and introduce himself. Ghost shot him a warning look, that Soap chose to ignore.
“Welcome to the team.” He said.
“Thrilled.” She replied dryly.
“I’m John. Everyone here calls me Soap though.”
“I know. I read your file.” She deadpanned. She could have been funny if she hadn’t been constantly mean.
“Ya got access to that?” he asked.
“No.” she replied.
Of course she didn’t.
Ghost
They’d tried to get into a smaller base of the Red Room first, to gather some more intel. None of the team had expected there to be any people, much less a bunch of teen girls armed to the teeth.
It didn’t end well.
Out of the thirty girls there, they’d managed to get seven out alive. The others had either died via cyanide pills or while fighting them.
Black Widow had explained that they were brainwashed, and that was why they’d immediately committed suicide when other options ran out. She didn’t seem to be affected too much by it. At least, she tried to pretend that it was that way.
He’d taken a bullet to the thigh, and it had been her to stitch him up in the safehouse before he could call the medic. She’d been grazed by something, and she took care of that herself as well.
They’d all managed to get some time under the shower, and now, they sat in the living room together. She was in the cargo pants she’d worn on the mission and a black tank top, and Ghost could see the tattoo on her right shoulder blade while her back was to him.
The square hourglass symbol, followed by a number.
1047.
He didn’t have to ask to know that she was the 1047th girl they’d taken. He wondered how many of them had died at his hands, while he didn’t know that he was fighting children.
Price was working on the radio they’d found in the safehouse, but finding an enjoyable station in the middle of Russia was proving to be harder than expected. Eventually, he landed on a classical music station.
She didn’t seem to mind, scraping her can of tortellini clean, until a new song played. Ghost did not recognize it, but he saw her hands curl around the can tightly, knuckles turning white.
“Change the station.” She said. Price looked up. It was the first thing anyone had said in a few hours.
“Why?”
“Just change the fucking station.” She snapped. “Please.”
Price nodded, turning it to something else. A Russian voice chattered into the room. Ghost could see that she was listening, probably understanding every single word.
“What are they saying?” Price asked.
“That there was a fire in the warehouse we were in.” she said.
“Nothing about us?”
She shook her head. “From what they’re saying, they don’t have a clue. The Red Room will know.”
“Why?” Ghost asked.
“They chipped us. They know the last location of the girls, and they know that seven of the chips moved without the rest. I had the medics take them out, but it took them a while to get here. By now, Dreykov will know that something is going on.”
It was the most she’d said in one go so far.
Ghost didn’t trust her, but he didn’t mind her either. Most of the team disliked her, and Price couldn’t seem to stand her. Soap had his mind set on talking to her. But Ghost… he didn’t know who she was, only that she was as quiet as he was.
He knew that Soap wanted to ask about the scars that littered her arms and what they could see of her back, and he knew that she would not answer.
Suddenly, there was a shout of frustration from Gaz.
“What happened?” Price asked, immediately on his feet.
“Heater’s out.”
Glancing outside, Ghost saw that it was snowing heavily. Black Widow got up from her spot in the room. Ghost could hear her shuffle inside one of the cabinets.
She returned with blankets, dumping them in the middle of the room before taking one for herself. Ghost said nothing as she sat down next to him, an arm length of space between them. The snow only got heavier, until it turned into an all-out blizzard.
“We’ll be snowed in tomorrow.” Soap noted.
“Let’s worry about freezing to death first.” Gaz said. He was chattering, despite the blanket around him. Black Widow had gotten herself a second already, and she still looked cold.
“Taking first watch.” Ghost muttered, sitting down by the window.
“I’ll join you.” Soap said. Ghost knew that Soap wanted to chatter about something idle to distract himself from the image of 23 dead fourteen-year-olds.
The others shuffled together for warmth, except for her. She stayed where she was, leaning against the counter of the small kitchen.
“Ya think she’s from the Red Room?” Soap asked under his breath.
“Course she is.” Ghost replied.
“I heard they take the girls when they’re three. Teach ‘em ballet and how to be all pretty while killing a man. Then they send them out when they’re fifteen.”
Ghost nodded, letting Soap know that he was listening.
“Ya think that’s why she wanted ta change the station?”
“Huh?”
“They were playin’ sum ballet song.” Soap said. “Maybe she knows how to dance to it. “
“Doubt she does much dancing.” Ghost replied.
“Sight for sore eyes though. But after what she did today…” Soap mumbled.
Ghost still remembered it. How ruthlessly she’d fought against those girls. Wasn’t she supposed to know that they had no choice?
They had all obviously gone through the same combat training, but she was older and stronger. Those girls knew that. She knew that.
Ghost had watched her snap the neck of one with a twist of her hand. Something like that was so grotesque that even Ghost seldom did it, but with her it looked like the starter to a five-course-meal.
“She ain’t happy.” Soap said.
“No shit.”
“Ya think she’s a good person?”
“I doubt it.” Ghost replied.
“I think she could be. Maybe she’s an ass due to circumstance.”
Ghost snorted. Only Soap would say something like that. When he glanced over to her, he saw beady eyes glancing back in the darkness. He wondered if she’d listened in to their conversation.
She didn’t sleep for most of the time Ghost and Soap were on watch. A few hours in, she picked up her pack of cigarettes and lighter and offered them to take over watch.
Ghost nodded, about to get up and go back to bed, but Soap was hesitant.
“It’s fucking cold sleeping on tha ground.” He said.
“We can sleep close. For warmth.” Ghost replied.
“Nah. I’ll stay on my feet.” Soap said.
Ghost shook his head. What the fuck was going on with Soap?
You
You were back to square one, thanks to some wrong intel. On top of that, they all saw what you did to the other girls. You weren’t sure if their pity was worse or whatever they did now.
All of them except Soap, who still seemed determined to chew off your ear. Currently, he was telling you about his hometown in Scotland.
“You’re from New Zealand, aren’t ya?” he asked finally.
“I just lived there.”
“Then where are you from?” he asked. You shrugged in response. Russia was where you were raised, technically, but you did not know where you were taken from.
Soap smiled at you brightly, completely unguarded. It threw you off. He was a special ops, and yet, he sometimes behaved like anything but.
You didn’t need classes in the Red Room to know that he was attracted to you. Yet, you weren’t sure whether that would help or hinder you.
“Who raised ya? Masked soldiers?” he said, and you were sure he’d meant it as a joke.
“A woman called Madam Ivanova. She was in charge of us.”
“Was? Who killed her?”
“Price.” You replied curtly.
“I’m sorry.” He said quickly. You could see that he was regretting his words.
“Don’t be. She wasn’t a good person.”
“You say that as if she killed your friends.”
“She did.” You replied.
“What?”
“If recruits aren’t good enough, you don’t let them into your ranks.” You shrugged.
“Recruits? Fucking hell, you were girls.”
“Yeah, at the beginning of the program. 1 in 20 makes it through.”
Soap didn’t say anything else that night.
***
You stayed on after taking down Dreykov. By going back into this industry, you’d given up New Zealand, and in your gut, you’d known that when you made that choice.
The team had grown to accept you, and even Price was alright with your company by now. In return, you tried to be less snappy towards them. It worked, most of the time.
The last mission had been a good one. No one innocent had died, you’d gotten the intel, and the bad guys were dead. It was like out of a story, and the group was celebrating.
Price had gotten an empty bar, and Soap was playing bartender, giving out drinks like there was no tomorrow, and chugging his own just as quickly. Ghost was in the corner, mask rolled up to drink whatever Soap handed him.
You could see a bit of blond stubble peek out, along with a small scar. You knew how he’d gotten it. It had been in the Red Room, the actual Red Room, and an eight-year-old girl had slashed at him with a sharpened letter opener.
Ghost hadn’t defended himself. You’d pried the girl off him, taking the weapon from her and making sure she wouldn’t jam it into his neck next.
“Here.” Soap said, handing you a shot of Tequila.
“I’ve had enough.” You replied. “If I drink any more, I’ll get tipsy.”
“That’s the point.” Soap said, firmly putting the shotglass down. “You’re lucky we’re not playing any drinking games.”
You snatched the glass from him, ignoring his smug smile as you downed it, holding out your ahnd for a lime wedge. Soap dropped it into your hand quickly.
You laughed at some stupid joke he said, ignoring the stares on your back from the rest of the team. You couldn’t deny the fact that Soap could make you feel less…
You weren’t sure, but when you were with Soap, your past faded into the background. It wasn’t as important anymore. All the blood and fucking gore of it.
Ghost
He wasn’t sure why, but he hated that she was laughing at Soap’s idiot jokes. Somehow, he had convinced her to get tipsy, and it was a good look on her.
She was pretty when she smiled. Not that she wasn’t without, but it made her look careless. At some point, she walked over to him, another shot glass in hand.
“Soap insists you drink another. He wants to see you tipsy.”
Ghost took the glass from her, ignoring the fact that he enjoyed their hands touching.
“What’s wrong?” she asked. Ghost paused.
“What do you mean?”
“You’re quiet. You always are, but you’re like… quiet tonight.” She said. He wanted to scoff at her.
“You and Johnny fucking?” he asked. He wasn’t sure why.
“What?” she asked. “Where the fuck is that coming from?”
“Don’t want my team messed up.”
“Oh in that case, you don’t have to worry Lieutenant.” She spat. Her entire body language had shifted in a moment, and it was telling Ghost to fuck off. “I’m going for a smoke.”
Ghost watched her storm out, before glancing over to Soap. He’d stilled his movements, looking after her.
Ghost followed a few seconds after, leaving the bar. She stood outside, clicking on her lighter angrily.
“Don’t fucking say anything stupid.” She told him, throwing the lighter away with a frustrated movement. Suddenly, Ghost surged forward, grabbing her jaw softly. He had to lean down to look at her, even if she wasn’t short.
“Wha-“ she began
“I thought you learned about all of this.” Ghost mumbled, suddenly unsure what to do. Her hands surged forward, pulling the lower half of his mask up.
His hand moved the back of her neck, covering pretty much all of it. He could taste the sourness of limes on her lips. Her lips were so soft Ghost thought he might forget about everything else.
He ghosted over her jaw, and felt the tenseness in it. Carefully, Ghost broke contact.
“Relax.” He told her.
“I am.”
“This isn’t a mission.”
“I just- I haven’t done this just for the sake of it.”
Shit. Ghost felt terrible when she said that.
“Don’t stop now.” She whispered, and Ghost obliged, his lips meeting hers again. Her jaw wasn’t as tense as it had been, and her arms hung loosely around his neck. Slowly, he let one of his hands slide down to her waist, pulling her in closely.
She let down a quiet oof as she hit his vest, letting him guide her towards the wall of the bar. His other hand pillowed her head, making sure that she would not hurt herself.
He hated to admit that kissing her was everything he wanted in that moment.
It was so perfect, the taste of her lips, her small hands on his chest and his own encircling her waist. Their closeness.
And then, the illusion shattered.
She sprang back from him, looking towards the door of the bar.
“Soap?” she asked, voice hoarse.
Soap
He’d only come out of the bar to check on her and Ghost, expecting them to be at each other’s throats. They were, just not the way he’d thought.
“Soap?” she asked, surprise apparent on her face. Ghost’s hand was still on her waist, but she’d backed away from him as soon as she’d heard his steps.
His stomach dropped. He wanted her. Simon fucking knew that. He’d wanted to do that to her since he’d met her, and he’d told Simon. He’d told him about what he thought of her and he did this?
And from the look on her face, she knew how he felt as well.
“Fuck you, Riley.” He spat, turning back around. Ghost stayed where he was, but she followed him.
“Please don’t go.” She said. “It was- I didn’t mean to-“
“What? You looked like you were about to fuck him right there.” Soap replied. He knew his accent was thick due to anger, and he didn’t care. He didn’t expect her to push him like a petulant child though.
Soap barely stumbled, and that only seemed to enrage her more.
“It was a heat of the moment thing!” she finally said. “He got me angry, and it worked, okay?”
“I don’t know why you’re so upset.” He finally replied. “You don’t owe me anything.”
“But I like you.” She blurted out. Soap blinked dumbly.
“What?”
“Don’t make me say it again. It makes me sound so childish.” She said. Behind her, Ghost moved.
“So why’d you make out with him?” Soap asked. She didn’t reply, but for the first time since he’d met her, she blushed. Furiously.
Oh.
He glanced over to Ghost, who towered behind her. He saw it too. Their eyes met, and Soap saw the idea that was coming to his mind mirrored in Ghost’s.
Oh.
They’d never even come close to something like that, but maybe…
Softly, he tipped up her chin, There were the beginnings of tears in her eyes, but her cheeks were still flushed from kissing Ghost and the Tequila she’d had. Her pupils were still dilated.
She was so fucking hot.
He could share with Ghost.
This wasn’t the first kiss Soap had imagined, but imagination be damned, it was still fucking amazing. Soap pulled her closer by the loops in her belt, feeling her body press against him. Her hands grabbed his neck, pulling him closer.
Soap could practically feel Ghost hover behind her, feel the impatience rolling off of him.
“Let’s get outta here, yeah?” Soap offered, and she nodded, grabbing him by the hand. Ghost followed, putting a hand on his shoulder.
He leaned in, whispering. “She’s never had sex for the sake of sex.”
Soap nodded. If she knew they were talking about her, she ignored it.
“I wasn’t planning on not focusing on her.” He replied.
Ghost
They found a dingy motel, and Soap barely managed to scrape money out of his wallet before he was already sprinting up the stairs to their hotel. The woman behind the desk gave them a look that told Ghost she knew exactly what they were planning.
Not that he cared much.
He caught up with her, grabbing her by the waist and throwing her over his shoulder. Soap shook his head, unlocking the door to their room as quickly as he could.
Ghost let her down on the bed, crashing lips onto lips. She gave a surprised squeak that turned into a moan as his hand wandered to her tits, greedily squeezing.
Blindly, she pulled Soap onto the bed, causing it to groan from the weight.
“Might break it if we keep going.” Soap said.
“That’s the goal.” She replied, before kissing him. Ghost didn’t know why he didn’t feel jealous but he was glad. Carefully, he set to work on pulling off her jacket, and then, her shirt.
He paused when he saw a massive scar, running from under her left breast until her hipbone. Ghost ran a thumb over it carefully. There was another, low on her stomach. Ghost didn’t want to think of where they’d come from. Kissing up her breasts, she felt her hands tug at his vest.
He shrugged it off, watching as she wrapped her legs around Soap’s waist, flipping him onto his back.
From under her hair, he saw the tattoo. It disappeared again when she leaned forward to suck on Soap’s neck, softly biting his shoulder.
Soap groaned and Ghost suddenly felt his pants grow uncomfortably tight.
He moved to kneel behind her, feeling her grind against the bulge in Soap’s pants. His hand snaked onto her neck, and she turned to kiss him.
“Good?” she asked. Simon and John nodded at the same time. She’s the most naked out of all of them, bra and pants still on, and God, it’s not enough for him. He picked her up, knowing exactly that she knew this was nothing for him, and beginning to open her pants.
Soap sat up, looking almost offended at being left out but then, he leaned back, giving her an appreciative smile.
Simon had almost managed to not feel guilty for making out with her behind the bar despite what Soap had told him.
She’s a pretty lass. I think she’d kill me if I told her.
That was the first thing Soap had told him, and Simon had silently agreed. He’d had no idea that Soap’s simple attraction would turn into a full-blown crush, like that of a lovesick teen. He’d had no idea that he’d follow so closely behind.
It had happened to him after the mess with the Red Room. She’d come out of Dreykov’s office, covered in blood, slick with it, and collapsed at his feet. He’d picked her up and carried her to the medics, but not before he’d caught a glimpse of the office.
Dreykov’s body, scattered across the room, his bodyguards dead with him.
He’d seen her carnal violence, and she’d held his hand afterwards, as they stitched her back together. Three bullets and six stab wounds, and she’d squeezed his hand so hard he was sure it would fall off.
They never spoke of it afterwards, but there was something there then.
There’s a moment of awkward rustling where Soap and Widow pull off their clothes, and Simon stands off to the side, unsure whether he should take his off as well.
Instead, he lowers himself to the end of the bed, pulling her towards him until her cunt is in front of his face. She crosses her legs for a moment, and Simon begins to work on her thighs. It takes her a moment, and then she lets him touch her.
Soap is somewhere above him, making out with her so intensely that Simon can see her chest heave with each breath. He’s so hard in his pants it almost hurts.
But this is about her. For her.
The first moan he coaxes from her is muffled, almost swallowed by Soap’s kiss, but the second comes more loudly. Simon stays where he is, until her legs wrap around his head with a trained strength and he can barely breathe.
He’d die happy between her legs.
Soap
Everything that’s happening turns into an avalanche once her clothes are off. She’s still sweaty from the bar and walking to the motel, but he couldn’t care less. Her tits are in his face – he has no right to.
Ghost is somewhere, doing something, and he can barely concentrate on what he’s doing with the sounds that are coming from her mouth. She’s not fragile – he knows she isn’t. And yet, he feels like he has to hold her like she’ll break apart.
“I want…” she begins, but trails off again, into another moan. Johnny throws a look behind his shoulder and sees her legs wrapped around Ghost’s head, so tightly that he isn’t sure his friend is still alive.
“What do you want?” he demands from her. She could ask anything from him right now. He’d shoot his own brains out if she wanted him to.
“Please, I need you.” She begs, and he thinks he’s going to lose his mind in this shitty motel.
Slowly, she lets Ghost go, and he stands up, pulling his mask over his face again. He’s still wearing his clothes.
Soap lets her get on top. Ghost is somewhere, holding her somehow, but all he can focus on is the feeling of him inside her. It’s never-ending, golden, and Soap knows nothing has felt more right.
“Fuck.” She mumbles, her arms shaking as she tries to steady herself on his shoulders. Ghost had done a number on her, and it looked amazing.
When she began to move, the scar on her stomach stretched, pulling on her skin. Soap wanted to take her away from it all. Him and Ghost, they could protect her. Let her truly retire.
She was younger than both of them, and had worked this kind of stuff long before them. Only Price had more experience.
Suddenly, she leans forward, her lips grazing his ear.
“Ghost feels a little left out.”
“We don’t want that, do we now?” he replies.
“I have something that might work.” She says, and Johnny trusts her. She turns around, offering her cunt to him from behind, facing Ghost. He takes out his cock, stroking leisurely, and Soap wants to gulp with her.
It’s fucking massive. She wants to suck him off when he’s that big?
But then she’s practically begging him to fill her cunt again, and all thoughts of possible or not possible are gone when he’s inside her.
He watches, through a haze, as Ghost feeds her his cock. She gags on it, and Johnny can feel himself twitch inside her. She feels it too.
Ghost is careful with her at first, whispering praises.
Good girl. You’re doing so well.
And then, he kind of forgets all about that, slowly guiding her head. The enormity of him causes her to rock back against Soap, and he wishes he could see her face.
He feels himself growing close, and suddenly he panics – there’s no condoms.
So he pulls out of her, and both Ghost and her halt their movements.
“You on the pill?” Soap asks quickly.
“I can’t have kids.” She replies. He halts at that for a moment, but then, she and Ghost are back at it, and he doesn’t want to miss out.
His hand snakes down to her belly, finding her clit. It causes her to clench around him and it takes Soap all of his willpower not to come then and there.
He doesn’t know where to look. The perfect fucking curve of her back. Her ass. Her face in Ghost’s crotch, taking him as if that wasn’t a fucking challenge.
Soap barely manages to coax an orgasm out of her before he cums. He's so close his brain has turned to mush. She shudders against him, and he has to hold her up, feeling her pretty ass bump against him, always begging for more. He gives as much as he can, making her moan around Ghost’s cock so loudly that the woman behind the desk downstairs has definitely heard.
One last time, he grabs her hips tightly, cumming inside her, before he pulls out and leans back.
He gets to enjoy the view as she continues to suck off Ghost, his cum dribbling out of her cunt. His handprints are on her hips, already beginning to bruise. Ghost doesn’t take much longer before he comes too, holding her head down. Soap hears her choke, and it’s enough to make him hard again.
She collapses onto the bed next to him, sweatier than before and hair in tangles thanks to Ghost.
Soap takes the stringy towel Ghost gets him from the bathroom, wiping down her thighs and offering it to her for her face.
“No need.” She says with a proud smirk.
“God, stop. You’ll be in for another round otherwise.”
Ghost sits on the bed across from them before she waves him over. It’s barely enough space, but she manages to squeeze between them. Soap scratches her back carefully, and she purrs like a cat.
“Was that good for a first?” Soap finally asks.
“Oh no it was totally terrible.” She answers, her voice sarcastic. “It’s not like I came all over your dick.”
“Jesus.” Ghost manages, but Soap sees his massive hand already on her ass.
“Round two?” Soap asks, and she gives him an adoring smile. There’s a moment where he feels himself falling in love with her even more, and maybe even with Ghost, for taking care of his girl.
“Give me a moment.” She says finally. “But yeah, let’s go for a round two.”

You were sipping your blueberry tequila smash and staring moodily across the water. It was supposed to be a festive day and an even better night, but that insanely handsome and inconsiderate roommate/boyfriend of yours ruined it all.
Or rather, you ruined it, thinking that you would be any different than any of the other girls he’d smashed and passed on. So what it had lasted a year? Bucky was leaving you now, so cheers to wasted time.
You downed the rest of your drink in one gulp as you thought to get another when someone cleared their throat beside you.
You glanced over to see your boss standing beside you, resplendent in a white suit and sunglasses. You straightened up and ran your free hand over your white mini sundress with blue polka dots and greeted him.
“Oh! Hello, Mr. Stark. This party is so nice. Great way to celebrate the Fourth!”
You plastered on a fake smile and aimed it at him. He smiled back at you.
“Cut the shit, Sugar. I know you’re not that happy. I saw you and Barnes had words and he stalked out. I warned you about fraternization.”
Your stomach dropped and you just knew that you would be fired and kicked out of Stark house, losing your graduate fellowship. Shit. Stark knew everything, even the nickname that your roommates, Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers had given you.
“Oh that? That was nothing, just a roommate disagreement.”
Stark leaned in. He smelled good. Real good. He smelled….rich.
“Listen. That rule is not because I mind co-workers getting it on…”
He paused and winked at you, and instead of being creepy, it was funny, so you laughed.
“It’s because most people, especially young people like you, can’t do it without all the feels.”
He nodded and you turned to see Wanda and Vis sneaking off around the house, hand in hand.
“That’s going to lead to heartbreak,” he said, indicating the sneaky couple.
Then looked you in the eyes.
“And you’re going to be all twisted up into knots between those two grunts if you’re not careful.”
You looked at him quizzically.
“Two grunts?”
Stark sighed and raised his hand.
“You need to lay off the red, white, and blue drinks, Sugar.”
He looked you up and down and you don’t know if it was the drinks, but you weren’t mad at him. He was kind of charming.
“Barnes and Rogers. Part of the reason I keep you around, besides the fact that your IQ is within 20 points of mine, is the increased productivity around them when you are together. Competition is a wonderful thing for business.”
When the server appeared, he grabbed an elegant looking red drink.
“But lately productivity is falling. Hence Barnes’ new offer. It had to be done, Sugar. Now we all can concentrate on the work ahead.”
You frowned at what he was saying, not giving voice to your feelings on that subject. Stark sighed again and shook his head as he handed the drink to you, despite what he said earlier.
“Kir Royale.”
You accepted it and took a sip. Then you looked up at Stark.  You were beginning to think that he might have been pretty cute when he was younger.
“I was Sugar, and I’m a handsome devil now.”
You gasped and put your hand over your mouth as he winked and walked away, not knowing you’d said that out loud. You watched him walk away as he commented over his shoulder.
“Nice dress, Sugar. It’s making several people all hard, soft, and wet.”
You gasped again, looking down. The dress covered everything, and you didn’t know what he was talking about. You turned toward the river and the afternoon sun again, finally realizing.
The sun was shining through your dress and everyone behind you could see everything you had to offer. And you hadn’t worn any underwear because you came with Bucky.
You quickly made your way down the lawn to the edge of the hedge maze to put the greenery at your back and to watch the water in privacy. Irritation was on the edge of your brain, but the drinks were making everything mellow.
So what, your boyfriend had accepted a position in Romania for a year?
So what, you couldn’t go with because you’d won a coveted Stark fellowship that extended your housing and salary into while you studied in graduate school at NYU?
So what, Bucky didn’t consult you before committing himself?
So what, you were an idiot who thought you could have happily ever after?
You jumped at a noise behind you. You wheeled around and were stopped in your tracks.
“Hey Sugar.”
Steve was there, with a strange look on his face, but his bright blue shirt was making those eyes pop.
“Oh. Hullo Steve.”
You pouted at him and he almost fell to his knees.
Things had been different with you and Steve since you and Bucky had gotten together last year. You were still friends, but he kept you at arms length. You didn’t think much about it, because you’d been wrapped up in your relationship, but as you looked at him now, the guilt hit you full force.
“Oh shit, Cap! It’s your birthday!”
His Lacrosse moniker flew from your lips as you threw yourself into his arms for a hug. Steve was caught off guard and stumbled backward, but managed to break your fall with his body. His hard body.
“Thank you. You remembered.”
You were both laughing as you untangled from each other on the ground.
“Of course I did! I’m your bestie, right?”
You gave him your bightest smile.
“Bestie. Right.”
Steve thought of the innocent kiss you’d shared last year. He thought of it every day, in fact. But you were Bucky’s girl. He looked at you and grinned. You made him so happy. You and Bucky were his only family, so he was glad to be with you today, if only for a moment.
“I see you were trying to be alone. I’ll leave you be.”
The sight of you made him weak, so he made to leave before he said something stupid. Then, he felt your hand grab his.
“Just where do you think you’re going, Mister?”
“Ummm…?”
“Um, nothing! We’re going to celebrate your birthday in style, Bestie.”
Your eyes sparkled at him.
“Are you ready for your reconnaissance mission?”
—--
20 minutes later, you and Steve met in the same place, behind the hedges. He’d completed his mission with table cloth and a box full of some hor’s d'oeuvres from the party. Steve had charmed one of the servers in the kitchen.
He took you in, a mischievous look on your face and your arms behind your back. Your nipples were pointed right at him through your dress and his mouth went dry.
“What do you have there?”
Steve’s deep baritone and his raised eyebrow did something to you, but you shook it off as you brought your hands in front of you. Steve barked at your audacity.
You’d swiped a bottle of Stark’s Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises from the bar and the entire top to the strawberry and blueberry five tier sponge cake that was on the buffet.
“Only the best for my bestie!”
Steve shook his head at you as you set up the picnic.
Tumblr media
You and Steve talked like you hadn’t in over a year. You ate and drank and just relaxed, bringing your old vibe back. Everything was perfect, even the beginning sunset across the water.
Until Steve complimented your dress.
“This is nice.”
He took it in his hand to feel the fabric, bushing his fingertips along your thigh. You shivered and looked down at his hand, leaving Steve to marvel at your eyelashes across your cheeks. Then, you looked back up at him and reached up to feel his beard.
“So is this. Been meaning to tell you.”
Steve’s new-ish whiskers were somehow stiff, but soft, and you let your fingertips linger against his face, eyes drawn to his lips, made even more red by the strawberries off the cake. You licked yours unconsciously, thinking of that 7 minutes in heaven last summer.
“So… what do you want for your birthday?”
You reluctantly withdrew your hand from his face and sat back on your knees, hands on your thighs. For some reason, that made Steve hot and bothered. He considered you.
“Today has been great. The food, the drink, the cake.”
He grinned.
“”Great’, but not ‘Perfect.’”
You cocked your head at him and Steve wanted his hands on you.
“What would make it perfect?”
Steve grabbed the bottle of champagne and took a swig because you hadn’t gotten any glasses.
“It’ll never happen.”
Your interest was piqued.
“Never say never, Cap.”
Was Steve drunk, or was your voice more sultry? He shook his head, partially to clear it, and partially in denial.
“I think I can say never with confidence on this one.”
You got up on your knees and grabbed his arm.
“C’mon, please, please, please! It’s your birthday. I’ll do anything to make it happen, pleaaaseeeee!”
You bouncing up and down begging on your knees made Steve’s reserve snap.
“I want to kiss you.”
You stopped moving and your mouth hinged open. Then you licked your lips.
“Ummmmmm….”
“That’s what I thought.”
Steve took another swig.
“Can’t do that. You’re Buck’s girl…”
Your reticence evaporated at the mention of James Barnes.
“Fuck Bucky.”
And you threw yourself at Steve, causing him to drop the bottle, then blindly feel for it, making sure it was upright before pulling you into his lap.
The kiss was less innocent than the first, all lips, tongues and teeth, even biting as Steve sought to possess you. You found yourself grinding on Steve’s bulge as year old memories of what his casually swinging roommate cock looked like flashed through your mind.
Then you stopped, moved off Steve’s lap and lay back on the table cloth, eyes closed and hand on your heaving chest.
“That was great.”
You chuckled and smiled, eyes still closed. You missed Steve’s eyes roaming over your prone body.
“Great, but not perfect?”
“I wasn’t talking about kissing you on those lips….”
Your eyes flew open the now dark sky and you turned your head to see Steve lying next to you, a pained look on his face.
“Steve…”
“I know… but… damn Sugar… I’m down bad for you. Always have been.”
You looked into those baby blues and you knew it was true.
“I….”
Instead of saying what you wanted to say, you shifted and pulled your dress up slowly, causing Steve’s eyes to follow every move, and an unconscious groan to escape from his lips. When you revealed your naked core to him, he got up on his knees.
“We’ve got to make your birthday perfect, now don’t we?”
Steve gulped.
“Oh, Sugar…Sugar…”
He looked up at you, eyes dilated.
“You sure…?”
“Kiss me, Stevie…”
You let your leg fall open, and Steve’s hands were on you, pulling you toward him as he leaned down toward your naked bottom. He put his hand under your thigh and propped it up and over his shoulder.
His hot breath against your pussy lips made you shudder. He looked up at you.
“I knew you’d be pretty everywhere.”
You smiled and put your hand in his hair, scratching his scalp.
“You’re so nice, Steve.”
He raised his eyebrow.
“Nice? I’ll show you nice.”
And he leaned down and liked your pussy, tongue sweeping into your sweet tang and setting his world on fire.
“Fucking delicious…”
“Languagggeeeeee… Stevie, fuck!”
You couldn’t handle it as he dove in and pulled and sucked your clit like taffy candy
Steve chuckled, then looked up at what he was doing to you. Your head was thrown back, one hand still grabbing his hair and the other on your breast.
“Look at me.”
You brought your head up to see him and then gasped as he spit on your pussy and then licked it up.
“Shit, Steve…”
His mouth had disappeared into your cunt as you replied.
“T-ththat wasn’t very nice. In fact…”
You had to stop speaking because now Steve had brought two thick fingers up and had entered your slick passage. The way he finger fucked you while sucking your clit made your eyes roll back in your head. You had his hair tight and the tighter you pulled, the more he groaned and licked you up.
You grunted through your orgasm, still cognizant that people might hear you.
After you came, Steve looked up at you and curled his fingers which were still inside you, making you slap your hand over your mouth as you keened behind it. That extended your orgasm and had you searching for air as Steve’s hand ran up your dress to squeeze your soft breasts.
“That was great, Sugar. But you know what would be perfect?”
You knew knew what was coming next.
You thought.
“If you rode my face and came in my mouth.”
“Oh.”
You were sure that you looked like a fish the way your mouth stayed open in surprise.
You were sexy as hell to Steve Rogers.
He moved smoothly down to the ground and you took in the tent that was made through his khaki pants. You were a little disappointed. You wanted him inside you.
Steve chuckled and reached out his arms, grabbing for you.
“C’mere, Sugar, bring me that sweet, sweet sugary cream.”
You blushed, despite the debauchery you just participated in, and allowed yourself to be pulled up to Steve’s chest, your skirt fanning around him as he hooked his arms around your thighs and moved your skirt up for access.
“Now, I want you to sit on my face.”
“That handsome face with that big ass tongue?”
You used to tease him about it all the time.
Steve smiled and nodded.
“Ummmhmmmm.”
He stuck his tongue out and wiggled it.
“The better to eat you with, my dear.”
Then he turned and kissed your thigh. Next, his blue eyes bore into yours.
“Now, bring that ass here…”
You couldn’t help but obey as you raised up on your thighs and scooted up as he scooted down. He pulled you down so that you were seated perfectly on his face, his tongue spearing inside you. His hands held you apart as next he did a swirly thing and also a full lick from the top to the bottom of you, all the while watching you.
All shyness disappeared as soon you were grabbing his hair again and undulating on his mouth. Steve nodded and groaned, which encouraged you to go for the gold.
“Oh, my god, Steve…”
You fucked yourself on his face as he sucked and tweaked your clit, listening to his moans of pleasure. The thought that this is what he wanted to do on his birthday was getting you off.
Oh, and the stunning cunnilingus that this man was performing on you helped as well.
At first you thought it was your orgasm, but the fireworks that were lighting up the sky wasn’t from your own climax, but the thousands of dollars Stark paid for them. You allowed yourself to scream as you squirted into Steve’s mouth, and you collapsed over him as he scooted out, flipped up your skirt and licked you clean.
You lay shivering on the ground watching the lights in the sky as Steve lay down beside you and viewed the fireworks with you.
He pulled you into his arms as you whispered, “What about that?”
You wiggled your bottom against his boner.
“That will get taken care of, one way or another.”
Steve leaned up and kissed your cheek.
“Right now, this moment is perfect.”
You smiled and relaxed, thinking that what you had given Steve was also a gift to yourself.
Stars sparked in the sky as you snuggled into Steve’s arms and Bucky turned away from the hedge, heading toward Romania.

Peter Parker was the sweetest human being ever. He was an amazing friend too, but he was the best boyfriend.
You’d joined the avengers a little after he had, after your best friend Lila Barton had seen your sparring skills when she’d come to watch one day. One thing led to another and you’d become the youngest agent on the team. When you and Peter met, you’d hit it off immediately.
Currently you were seated in your room in the tower, struggling with calculus when said boy scrambled through your window.
“Baby you have no idea what happened today,” he started, dropping his bag on the bed, pulling off his mask, full of excitement. You stopped, getting up and turning to him as he wrapped his hands around your waist, your own resting on his shoulders. “Yeah? What’d I miss?” you asked, a goofy smile on your face.
“I got an old lady a taco for free, courtesy of the suit,” he grinned.
You laughed, dropping your head to rest on his shoulder. He smelled like a tree. His hands tightened around your waist, pulling you even closer to his chest, as if that was even possible.
“I missed you,” he whispered, one hand resting on your head, as the other wrapped itself around your torso.
“Me too, spidey,” you responded, lips sending a wave of goosebumps over his skin, as you placed a soft kiss on his neck.
You both went to different schools, which meant you only saw each other at the tower. However, no one else knew about the relationship, because you were afraid of their reactions.
Except Ned. And Lila.
Which meant that you had to keep things subtle.
Which also meant you weren’t supposed to cast loving glances or wink at each other.
You weren’t supposed to. But what else were Ned and Lila around for?
Peter pulled away slightly, just so that he could see your face, your bodies still flush against each other’s.  He cupped your jaw, kissing your forehead first, before his lips met yours. Your hands found their way into his hair, tugging slightly. He moaned, grabbing your lower lip with his teeth, tugging slightly, his hands sliding down the curve of your body, down till your hip, before squeezing it lightly.
You both pulled away after a few minutes, gasping for air, lips swollen and cheeks red. Just as you were about to reconnect, you heard a knock on your door. Both of your eyes widened in panic, before Peter quickly dived under your bed, relying on the shadows to hide him.
You straightened yourself out before quickly opening the door, to find a very amused looking Bucky staring back at you. “Y’alright kid?” he asked, a smirk playing on his lips. You tried to move slightly, trying to cover your bed as much as possible.
“Yup! Perfectly, perfectly fine,” you said, hoping he hadn’t heard anything. He nodded, that damn smirk never leaving his face. “Alright then, dinner’s ready,” he told you, peeking past you into your room, before turning around and leaving.
You quickly spun around shutting the door and leaning against it. Peter crawled out from under the bed, dusting himself off before giving you a panicked look. You shook your head, “Even if he heard, he won’t spill the beans.” you assured him.
Bucky had quickly become like an older brother to you, taking you under his wing when they all found out you didn’t have any parents. He’d done everything for you, from showing you the ropes of handling yourself on the field, to trying (and failing) to help you with homework. He’d even threatened a few boys that had been after you. You wouldn’t be surprised if he knew, but were confident he wouldn’t tell. However, he and Peter never seemed to get along, so it did seem off that he hadn’t lectured you about it yet.
Maybe he didn’t know as much as you thought. Or maybe he suspected it was someone else.
It was definitely the second one. You knew how much Bucky disliked Peter, and he probably trusted that you wouldn't date him.
You felt the teensiest bit guilty.
“I should get down to dinner,” you said, walking up to your boyfriend. He nodded, the disappointment on his face evident. “I’m sorry. You should go home for dinner too. Come back after, yeah?” you asked, holding his face in your hands. He nodded again, “Yeah, I’ll do that.”
He pressed his lips to yours once more, before grabbing his bag and jumping out the window. You ran over, watching as he swung away into the night, before closing, and pulling the blinds, then making your way downstairs.

“Princessa, please explain to my sister that she is absolutely wrong,” Pietro pleaded, pointing to Wanda with his fork.
“I am not! N/n tell him that he’s the one who’s wrong,” Wanda replied, staring angrily at her brother.
They were talking about Wanda’s cooking.
Pietro hated it.
The team was divided, exactly half supporting one of the siblings each, so naturally Pietro looked to you for help.
You held your hands up in defense, “Don’t ask me. I need food. As long as I get it, I’m not judging,” you laughed, shaking your head.
“But if you had to choose?” Pietro asked, waving his fork around.
You pretended to ponder your choices for a minute, before shrugging, “If I had to,” you dragged, looking between the both of them before your eyes settled on Wanda. Her face lit up - “it’d be Pietro,” you said, raising your hand as he gave you a high-five. Wanda frowned, “I should’ve known. Of course you’d support him! I’m not helping you with homework anymore!”
You stared at her, mouth agape. “Don’t bring my homework into this,” you warned, waving your fork in her face. She just shrugged before continuing to eat.
The entire table erupted in laughter, Wanda and yourself included.
After eating, you quickly ran up to your room, finding Peter already waiting on your bed.
“You’re lucky no one else can open this door without my permission,” you told him, climbing in next to him. He pulled you into his chest, a hand on your shoulder and the other on your waist. You sighed, letting yourself relax.
He ran a hand through your hair, “How was your day?” he asked quietly.
You hummed, “It was good. Calculus sucks though.”
You felt the vibrations of his laughter in his chest, “Yeah, it’s a tough one.”
You felt yourself slipping into a slumber, soft lips against your forehead.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Ms.L/N, Ms.Stark wants entry into your room,” FRIDAY announced, your eyes snapping open.
You groaned, “Let her in.”
The little girl walked into your room as the door opened, bare feet against the cold morning tile.
She paused a few feet away from your bed as you sat up stretching, “What’s up Mickey?” you asked. The nickname coming from her obsession with Mickey Mouse.
“Why is Petey in your bed?”
Your eyes widened in shock, head spinning around to find Peter asleep in your bed.
Oh shit.
“Uhhh,” you had to think fast, “He was helping me with uh-with- with homework and he - um- he got tired - and he- he just fell a-asleep here. Yeah.” you said nodding, satisfied with your answer. How suspicious could a 5-year old be?
But that’s when Peter woke up.
He sat up stretching, wrapping his arms around you, before pressing a kiss to the side of your chest. “Good Morning, baby.”
The panic in your chest grew.
Morgan stared at you for a minute, “Why did he just call you baby then?”
Yep. You were fucked.
Peter seemed to have realized what was going on then, because he immediately backed away, back hitting the wall. You turned to glare at him, as he shot you an apologetic look.
“Okay, okay, Morgan look. You can’t tell anyone.” you said, getting off the bed to kneel in front of her.
She blinked, “It’s a secwet?”
“Yeah, yeah it’s a secret,” you said, nodding.
She put her tiny finger on her chin, tapping slowly, looking away, thinking about it.
You hated how a 5 year old was making you feel so terrified, right now.
She looked at you, the most sinister smile a kid could muster, forming on her lips. “Then, you get me all the free juice pops I want. Whenever, I want” she said.
Dammit, she was good.
You nodded. You had no choice.
She gave you a tight nod, before prancing out of the room, the actual reason she’d walked in long forgotten.
“We’re fucked,” your boyfriend said, letting out a breath of air.
“You think?!” you asked, spinning around.
He held his hands up in surrender, “I didn’t know! I literally just woke up!”
You shook your head. “Whatever. We just have to,” you waved your hands around, “give her what she wants,” you sighed.
“She’ll get sick.”
“Do YOU want to explain to Mr.Stark why you’re dating the newest recruit?” you asked, pointing to him.
He shook his head frantically.
“Yeah,” you whispered, running a hand through your hair.
“So, what now?” he asked, climbing off of your bed.
You looked at the wall clock, sighing. “Now, we have school,” you muttered, rubbing your eyes tiredly.
Peter nods. “See you after school?”
You nod, pulling him in for a quick kiss, before you both bid each other goodbye and he was out your window.
Today’s gonna be a long day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You’d managed to force Lila into coming to the tower with you, surprising Clint a little.
“You girls alright?” he asks, watching his daughter walk in with you.
“We’re fine dad, we’re gonna go study,” Lila assures him, pushing you towards the stairs.
“She just doesn’t wanna go see her boyfriend right now, Mr.Barton!” you yell, Lila hitting you immediately, eyes narrowed, “Shut up!”
You’d basically called her in as a reinforcement.
Within 5 minutes of you entering your room, Morgan made her way in.
The fear you felt for this child was unlike anything you’d ever experienced.
“Juice pop,” she declared. You sighed, getting off the bed, as Lila started snickering. You shot her a look over your shoulder as you guided Morgan towards the kitchen. Luckily, there was no one there.
You got her the flavor she wanted, and she skipped off again. You thought the worst of it was over.
Boy, were you wrong.
She came back twice before dinner.
The second time, Sam saw you give her one.
The third time, it was Steve.
“I swear if she comes back again, I’m gonna blow,” you whispered to Lila on your way down.
Peter was helping Natasha and Pepper set up the table, and you quietly joined them, trying to signal to Peter that things were going well so far. It was one of the days when he ate over at the tower, but you hoped it wouldn’t mess things up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morgan decided she wanted to sit around with all of the “big people” today.
Her eyes wouldn’t leave you and Peter.
The second you finished eating, is when hell struck.
“Y/N, I want a juice pop,” she said grinning.
Oh boy.
“Morgan, you already had one,” Steve said.
“She did?” Tony asked.
“Two,” Sam said, holding up two fingers.
“What?!” Pepper asked, shocked.
Shit shit shit shit shit.
“Wrong!” Morgan giggled. Your eyes snapped to her, trying to warn her.
She held up 3 fingers. “I had thwee.”
That little-
You looked at Lila with pleading eyes, but you could tell that even she didn’t know what to do.
The panic in your chest grew, the adults talking over each other as your eyes found Peter, the same thoughts circling his mind.
We’re done for.
“Morgan, honey, who gave you those?” Tony asked.
Don't say Y/N. Don't say Y/N. Don't -
“Y/N”
Annnd she said Y/N.
All heads turned to you.
You looked at Morgan. You were still safe. As long as she didn’t-
“And if she doesn’t give me one more, I’m telling everyone her wittle secret.”
Your eyes widened, landing on a very terrified looking Peter.
“What secret? You might as well spill ‘cause you’re not getting anymore juice pops,” Tony declared, eyes narrowing as he looked at you.
Morgan shrugged, “Petey called Y/N baby,” she giggled, “and they were sleeping together.”
You wished you could make like Scott and just disappear.
“What?!” Bucky yelled.
“We weren’t having sex, I swear!” Peter blurted out.
“What’s sex?” Morgan asked.
“Not in front of the kid!” Pepper exclaimed, dragging Morgan away.
“You were sleeping on her bed?” Clint asked.
“They were just sleeping, dad!”
“Lila, you knew?!”
“FRIDAY, how come I didn’t get any reports of Peter coming in through the window or something?”
“It’s not necessarily a safety hazard, sir.”
“Yeah, well from now on it is.”
“Noted, sir”
You looked around as everyone started talking over each other. You couldn’t think, not in this noise.
“OKAY!” you yelled, silencing everyone.
You looked at Peter, “The cat’s out of the bag,” you muttered.
“Hell yeah. So, care to explain?” Buck asked. You could tell he was mad.
You let out a shaky breath, “We,” you said pointing between you and Peter, “are dating.”
The table was eerily quiet. No one said a word.
“We didn’t know how you would react. We knew some of you,” Peter paused, looking at Bucky, “wouldn’t like it very much.”
“Alright.” Steve nodded, “The three of you get out of here, the adults need to talk,” he pointed to you, Peter and Lila.
“And stay downstairs where we can see you,” Bucky ordered.
You all nodded, before slipping away quietly.
Lila tried to comfort you both, but you were still scared. You didn’t like the way Bucky had been looking at you. Almost, like he’d felt… betrayed. You knew they wouldn’t tell you to break up, but you were worried that it would weaken your relationship with Bucky.
When they called the three of you out, you could still see the fire in his eyes. And as expected, the verdict was not that bad.
“Just - keep your door open,” Tony said, tiredly rubbing his face, “and you,” he pointed to Peter, “use the goddamn front door.”
“You got that?” Steve asked.
You both nodded.
“That’s enough drama for one night, you guys should go to sleep,” Bruce said.
You looked to Peter, and he hesitantly came over, giving you a hug, his chin against your head. “We’re okay,” he whispered.
“Yeah.”
“I’ll text you,” he said, pulling away. You nodded, his eyes flickered to your lips, but you shook your head.
Not in front of everyone. Definitely not now.
He seemed to understand, and so he just quietly walked away, bidding everyone a good night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was past 11pm and you still couldn’t sleep.
You were worried about Bucky being mad at you.
You got out of bed, “FRIDAY, is Bucky asleep?” you asked.
“No he isn’t, Ms. L/N. He is in his room, however”
You nodded, making your way out of your room and over to his. You knocked in his door, and it swung open after a few moments.
“Y/N?” Bucky asked, looking tired.
“Are you mad at me?” you questioned, your voice breaking slightly.
“What? No,” he said, pulling you into his room.
You both walked over to his bed, sitting down side by side.
“Why would you think that?” he asked, looking at you.
“ ‘Cause you don’t like Peter,” you said matter - of - factly.
He laughed. “You’re right, but I mean, if he’s making you happy,” he shrugged, “who am I to judge?”
“Really?”
“Yes, but," he said pointing to you, suddenly looking serious, “if he hurts you - ”
“You’ll break his neck?” you asked, grinning.
He tilted his head to the side, “I was gonna say, I’ll mess up his pretty little face but sure, you’ve got a better idea.”
“Bucky!” you gasped.
He burst out laughing again, and this time you joined in.
“Can I sleep here tonight?” you asked after a minute, making your best puppy face.
“Y/N” he groaned.
“Please! I swear I won’t pull all of the blanket off of you this time!” you said, joining your hands in a prayer-like manner.
He looked at you, clearly not trusting you.
“And I’ll never hide something from you again. I promise.”
“Deal” he said, climbing over to his side of the bed.
“That’s all it took?” you asked, laughing, and laying down next to him.
“Hey! I’m a simple man!” he said feigning shock.
You scoffed, “A simple man who hates a teenager.”
“A simple man who hates Peter Parker. There’s a difference,” he said, holding up his finger.
“Oh shut up Barnes!”

Part 1, Part 2, Part 3,
Tumblr media
High school. Not the most appealing place for anyone, especially not if you are the one having to attend. You don't think there has ever been one person, that doesn't come from some high school musical bullshit world, that enjoys going to high school.
You are top of your class, and you'd think that would make it easier but that's far from the truth, specifically when you go to a school where everyone is supposed to be top of the class, or they were from the schools they had formerly attended. Smart people don't like being topped. So it isn't really personal when you get cussed out or get verbally bullied. At least you don't take it personally, not enough for people other than the ones who do it to know about it.
Today is the start of another exhausting day of school. Before you open the door to your room you once over your outfit, and mentally prepare yourself for everything that is to come. You let out a puff of air and begrudgingly walk down the hall and into the big elevator at the end of the hall.
"At least I don't have to walk down stairs," you mentally thank your father for being lazy, as you push the 'floor level' button.
"Good morning Y/n." Friday says as you walk into the kitchen.
You mumble out a 'morning' and walk over to the pantry. You pull out a box of Honey Nut Cheerios. Then you get a bowl and a spoon, placing them on the counter next to the box of cereal.
"Hey kiddo," You hear your dads voice from behind you. You smile, turning to see him leaning against the fridge with a carton of milk in one of his hands. You chuckle, and walk up to him giving him a hug. He kisses your head while hugging you
with just as much love.
"Hi dad." You say as he hands you the milk. Your dad gives you a look as he watches you tiredly get your breakfast.
"What?" You struggle to speak with a spoon full of food in your mouth.
When he doesn't say anything you ask again. "Dad, what is it?"
"Nothing, you just eat exactly like me." He chuckles out. And you scrunch your brows.
"Well how the hell else would I eat?" You ask. He gives you a pointed look, "I'm not going to quote any ancient museum piece but watch your mouth young lady." You put your hands up in apology.
“But It’s not even that bad of a word. S’not like you don’t say it.” You grumble slightly before stuffing another spoonful of Cheerios into your mouth.
“Although, that does sound like some old man I know, maybe I will let him know that you are finally starting to listen.” You give him a toothy grin and he shakes his head frantically.
“Don’t, please. I don’t want him to know he's rubbing off on me.” Your dad rambles out grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. You chuckle.
You both talk a while longer as you eat your cereal.
“How’s school? Any drama I need to know about?” You roll your eyes at him.
“No, sadly, unless you consider Peter losing one of Ned's lego pieces and not talking to him for a whole four hours,” Your dad chuckles.
“I would say that's a decent amount of drama for those two,” You dad comments, and you continue your pass time chatter.
"Oh, also, sweetie, Happy is driving you to school today," You dad says as you finish up your cereal.
"But,” you start, “dad, you said you would." Your disappointed look doesn't go unnoticed even though you try to not let it show.
"I know sweetie, but I can't today, I will try to find some time this week or next to drive you, okay honey? I'm sorry." He gives you a look of pity. And he really does want to drive you, he just can’t.
You can’t figure out why it bothers you so much. It’s just a ride to school. Maybe it’s because you barely ever see him. Maybe it’s because lately he has been more occupied with work than with his own daughter.
It bothers you that it bothers you. You shouldn’t be mad at him for working, for being a hero. You should get mad because you know it's not like he wants to blow you off.
"Yeah, um, ok," you put on a tight smile as you walk over to a counter stool that you backpack is sitting on, and sling it over one of your shoulders.
"Friday," Your dad calls out, and she immediately responds,
"Yes sir?"
"Call down Happy, and let him know, Y/n is ready to head out." Your dad finishes as he walks toward the hall leading to his office. He waves you a goodbye and you give a small smile in response.
Not even a couple minutes later Happy walks in, car keys in hand. "Come on kid, let get you to school," You nod and follow him outside.
The walk to the car is quiet. And Happy is not complaining with your ‘too tired to talk attitude’. He's not one for much unnecessary conversation. That's not to say he doesn't care for what you have to say, he just likes moments of quiet. Especially during the shitty morning.
"Hey, Happy?" You ask once he starts the car. He looks up at you through the rear view mirror letting you know he's listening.
"What did my dad have to get to?" You hear Happy sigh but don't say anything.
"Listen, your dad, he's a busy man, so it could really be anything." Happy informs you with a small sad smile, trying to make you feel better. You just nod looking down at your hands, so you don't have to look at another person trying to give you pity.
——
You slam your locker shut and turn to see Ned and Peter at their lockers that are a few away from yours. You nudge MJ and she closes her locker slightly to look at you.
"Yeah?" She asks and you nod towards the rest of your friend group. Mj doesn’t like that you called yourself that but she doesn’t have a better solution so she lets it slide.
"I'm going to go talk to them, meet up later?" You ask and she nods before bidding you goodbye.
"No, no, no, Peter, listen to me, I know it isn't a scam, because my cousins, best friends, little brother also ordered from the website and it came." Ned argues with who you are assuming is Peter.
"I don't think that's a credible source, dude. Have you even met your cousins, aunts, friends, brother?" Peter asks skeptically.
"It was my cousins, best friends, little brother." Ned grumbled out with an eye roll.
“The fact that you have to correct him just proves the point more.” You state bluntly entering the very stupid, conversation.
“See exactly!” Peter exclamins in your dereliction. Ned mumbles something out but you don’t quite catch it, Peter does though and his face goes pink and he hits Ned's arm.
“My, point proven,” Ned says quietly. And you brush it off assuming it's an inside joke. The bell rings and catches your attention.
“Okay come on you five year olds, let's stop arguing about credible sources, and whose brother said what.” You put your hands on both of their backs and push them toward your shared first period classroom.
When you walk in and find your seat. MJ is already sitting, in the seat right next to yours. And behind you Peter and Ned sit down. When the final bell rings everyone is sat down and ready for a long boring lecture.
The teacher passes out assignments and you all finish the assignment pretty quick, so, per usual, you sit around talking, or more, arguing.
“We need to agree on something and stop arguing.” MJ says calmly. You are all arguing about the movie you’re all going to watch at your house on Friday night. When someone proposes a movie, someone else always doesn't like it.
“I'm sorry MJ, but I will not watch Titanic, I can’t.” You deadpan, arms crossed over one another.
“Oh, come on Y/n! It's not that bad!” Ned tries but you shake your head with a look of utter disgust.
“It is that bad, I physically can’t watch it. I know it’s iconic or whatever, but I won’t let that movie play at my house. It’s not going to happen.” You slam your fist on Peter and Neds shared desk.
“What about Shutter Island?” Peter suggests. Looking at you for approval and you shrug. “I'm good with that.” You say.
“What's with all the DiCaprio movies?” MJ asks. And Ned groans, running his hands down his face. “So that's a no?” Ned says more of a statement than a question.
“I never said no,” She tries but you put your hand out to stop her. “You didn’t have to, it's a no.” You say tiredly.
“We have zero chance at agreeing on a movie by Friday.” Peter says resting his face in his arms that are arms crossed across the table.
“You know what else it is at zero?” Flash asks as walking past us to get to his seat after turning in the assignment.
Before you can tell him to piss off he continues. “Penis Parker’s girl game. You have Zero chance of ever getting any girl, even if they are the ugliest thing anyone has ever laid eyes on.” Flash’s friends snicker at his words and he laughs loud at his own joke.  As he walks past other kids in the class he gets fist bumps.
You look at him unamused. And when you see the sad embarrassed look on Peter's face you want to respond to Flash by cussing him out, but MJ gets to him before you do.
“We get it Flash, you’re taking your insecurities out on Peter, because we all know your ‘girl game’ is peaking in high school.” MJ retorts glaring at Flash. She says girl game like it’s the stupidest terminology to use, because it is.
“His girl game is just going to keep getting better after we graduate from this high school shit hole” You add huffing out in annoyance.
Flash looks around trying to get people to stand up for him. But no one does. They all just look away or at whatever they were before.
“Whatever,” You see Flash shrink in his chair as he quietly speaks. You glance over at Peter, he gives you a small smile.
“Thanks,” he whispers. You nod smiling at him.
The rest of class he’s quiet, and you can’t help thinking that this sort of thing happens a lot. You wish you could help him more, or that you could prevent it from happening. You sigh and stand when the bell rings, the subject still on your mind.
——
“I don’t know, MJ,” You start while unlocking your locker. “I like the idea of a horror movie, but I don’t know if the boys could take it.” She shrugs,
"Well we should just make them deal with it.” You hum in consideration, “I mean come on, think about how many times Ned has made us watch Star Wars?”
You nod in agreement. She does have a point. You can’t count on one hand how many times you’ve had to sit through one of the Star Wars movies.
“Alright, fine.” You huff out, “But you’re telling them.” You poke her shoulder with your finger when you say it.
“Deal,” She takes your hand into hers and shakes it. You chuckle, shaking back.
You and MJ start heading out the front doors of the building. You spot Ned and Peter, and wave to them. Ned waves and Peter smiles.
You and MJ part ways as she heads to the subway station, and you head over to a bodega to get some food while you wait for Happy.
You cross the street walking along the white strips of color on the paved road. You pull out your phone when you get to the other side of the cross walk, to see if Happy texted you yet.
Happy:)
I’ll be there in ten.
Happy:)
Where do you want me to pick you up?
Y/n Stark
The bodega, want anything?
Happy:)
I'm good.
Y/n Stark
Cheetos it is! See you in a bit 🫡
You turn off your phone and put it in your pocket, stepping into the bodega. The man behind the counter's head shoots up when he hears the bell on the door ring.
“Hola, pequeño Sparky,” The man says.
“Hola, Sr. López,” You grin and wave. When you first met, Sr. López, he told you that you look like Tony Stark's daughter. But he said spark not Stark, it stuck. You never correct him, and you never tell him you are actually Tony Stark's daughter, because you enjoy the name just as much as he does.
“Can I get a bacon egg and cheese?” You ask and he smiles big.
“Ah of course, and cheetos for Sr. gruñón?” You nod and smile. “You know it, Sr. López”
You walk over to the shelf of chips and grab the bag of cheetos. When your order is done you pay and head outside, waving Sr. Lòpez goodbye.
“Que tenga una buena tarde, Sr. López.” You say stepping out of the bodega.
When you walk out you almost trip. You look down and notice your untied shoelace. You probably unintentionally stepped on it again. When you bend over to tie it you hear something.
More like someone. Or multiple people. You hear someone whistle, and you stand and turn around abruptly.
And that’s when you see them. The three little pieces of shit that always bother you. They are always somehow there just when you don’t want them to be. Not that you ever did want them there. They are the weirdo dickheads who never leave you alone. Somehow they always pop up out of nowhere.
The blond short kid named Derek, whistles again. Logan the tallest one begins walking over to you. The other two follow.
You quickly begin walking past them. And you get half a block before Otis the jet black haired guy grabs you by the arm and pulls you into a small alley. Derek and Logan gather around you whistling laughing. You struggle in Otis’s grip, you’re sure it will leave a big bruise.
“What the hell do you want?” You spit out and Logan tuts shaking his head.
“Well look at you,” He breathes out as you get out of Otis’s tight hold. “How is a pretty thing like you still so available?”
Derek chuckles and pushes your body against the brick alley wall with his hands.
“I have no clue, but if you want to, baby, I'm open to anything” Derek growls out, and your face turns into disgust.
“Don’t make that face, it makes you look ugly.” Otis says with a scowl.
“I have to go.” You say quietly looking down to stop your shaky breathing.
“What was that hon’?” Logan asks, leaning his face close to yours. “Couldn’t quite hear you.” You know full well he can hear you, he's just being a dick.
You snap your head up with an angry expression, glaring daggers at the boys. “I have to go.” You state firmly. You watch as their faces turn into smiles, and they begin to laugh at you.
Then you hear a ding from your pocket. Surprisingly they let you grab your phone. You wonder why until Derek snatches the phone from your hands. You try to reach for it but Otis pushes you back against the wall.
“Give it to me,” You shout. They ignore you and look at the text. “Seems like she does have to go, boys,” Logan says, tossing your phone back with an annoyed look.
“It's a shame, I would have liked to tease you more.” Otis’s comment makes you mad. You look down at your lock screen to see a text from Happy.
Happy:)
I'm here, where are you?
The boys move to make way for you. And as you walk past them you trip over Dereks, purposefully, outstretched foot. You stumble and don’t bother to look back, so you don’t have to see them cackling at you.
You quickly scurry out of the alley and towards Sr. López’s bodega. You see Happy in a black car across the street, he sees you and waves. Nodding back you cross the street.
You open the car door and slip in. You pull the Cheetos out from your bag and reach over the divider to hand them to him. He thanks you and pulls out from the parking spot.
“Where were you?” He asks, chewing on a cheeto. You shrug, rubbing your bruised arm. “Uhh, I was just walking around waiting for you.” Its a good enough lie to get him to drop the subject. The car ride from that point on is silent, uncharacteristic for you, but Happy doesn't comment as he continues driving and you eat your bacon egg and cheese.
——
You hate it.
Feeling helpless.
How could you not when you were raised by the Iron Man, and grew up around superheros, and just strong people. So, it makes your blood boil when you think about the way you let them treat you. You know how to speak up for others, but for some stupid reason your own brain is too scared to be able to defend you.
What makes you doubly angry when you walk into your house, is thinking about the way Flash and the other kids at your school treat Peter. “What makes them think they are so much better? They don’t even compare to Peter,” you think. Peter is smart and sweet and has the kindest soul of anyone you have ever come across, so it pisses you off how shitty people can be. If only you could fix both problems.
“What’s got you so grumpy?” Pepper asks as you walk past her to your room. Her voice breaks your train of thought.
“Everything,” You grumble out. Pepper hums in understanding. Pepper, although she's not biologically you family, you consider her your mother. She's always there for you and she watched and helped you grow into the person you are.
“Anything I can help you with?”
“Not really. Unless you can magically make people stop being jerks.” She chuckles as your shoulders slouch.
“Well, when I'm dealing with Jerks, I tell them to stop or I’ll fire them. I usually try to hit two birds with one stone to get them out of my life faster. So fire the problem not just one person.” Pepper says, trying to help. You nod. And you catch the end of a conversation when your dad and Clint walk in.
“So, no, there will be no boyfriends or girlfriends for Y/n for a long time.” Clint chuckles at your dad.
Your brows scrunch before your head shoots up and your face breaks into a grin. Pepper who was watching you smiles, confused.
“You are a genius, dad!” You shout as you rush over to him to kiss him on the check.
“I know,” Your dad looks surprised when he says it, but smiles anyway.
“Thanks uncle Clint,” You hug Clint quickly and he tries to hug back but you pull away before he can.
Then you run back to your mom, wrapping her in a hug, before she can say anything, or pat you back, you run off.
“Thanks mom, got to go!” You yell back to her as you rush into your bedroom.
“What was that about?” Clint asks Pepper, and she shrugs.
“I say let’s be happy, she's happy.” Tony says as he continues to walk to his lab.
When you shut the door you throw your backpack on your bed. You begin pacing back and forth in thought.
“Peter needs a girlfriend. And I need someone who can keep those assholes away from me.” You drop the pacing for tapping your foot and rubbing your chin. Your face scrunches trying to think of a solution.
“It can’t possibly be this hard to come up with something… who’s a girl who’s single, and likes Peter, or can at least tolerate pretending to like him? Who’s someone who I can have, help me?”
Your tapping gets faster as your brain works harder. “How the hell can’t I think of anything? I’m the daughter of fucking Tony Stark for goodness sake. There has to be someone-“ You cut your thoughts off and your eyes go wide at your realization.
“No.” You think shaking You head. “That wouldn’t be acceptable. We’re friends not- not…that.”
“Oh shit.” You say aloud this time. “It’s the only solution that isn’t 100% insane.” You breath out a shaky sigh. “I have to ask Peter Parker to be my boyfriend.”
——
“This is 100% insane.” You think, gripping the pole in the rocking subway cart. “I know it’s insane, he’s gonna think it’s insane.”
You got Happy to let you head over to Peters to work on ‘a project’. You do have your homework with you, but you can’t focus on anything other than the crazy conclusion you have come to. So, no homework could get done without talking to Peter.
The subway cart is pretty full, because it just hit rush hour and there’s a woman who’s standing a little close to you. You step a couple inches towards the bar.
You keep going over what you are going to say to Peter in your head. You can’t come up with a coherent sentence that doesn’t sound like you are just flat out asking him out. Well you are doing that, “but- no- not in that way” You keep telling yourself. You just have to explain the situation to him, and he’ll understand. Right?
You also have to consider the fact that no one out of school can know about it. If your dad knew you were dating someone, you think he might just kill them. You heard what he said to Clint. But what he doesn't know can’t hurt him, at least while he doesn't know. You know what the consequences are if he finds out, but you are willing to do it, for you and for Peter.
The train car pulls to a stop, and the doors open. You hear the automated voice ring through the train station as you set out of the train car. Piles of people rush in and out of the train. You dodge the hoards by swerving and slipping past them, out of habit. Living in New York, it's impulses to walk around slow people.
You climb the steps of the train station and out into the chilly air of Queens. You wrap your arms around your body, regretting the decision to ditch the jacket.
It takes a couple minutes to get to Peter and May's apartment, but once you travel up the elevator and your hand is inches from the door, all your previous courage drains from your body. You blink harshly to shake away the fear. Your heart is pounding and you can’t breathe properly.
“Just do it already, what are you scared of? its Peter,” You know there is lots to be scared of but you won’t let your mind drift that way.
You lift your hand to knock on the door, but it’s pulled open before you can make contact with the metal handle. You step back startled.
“Oh god, so sorry.” The woman in front of you says with a sigh. Your heart rate begins to slow when you hear her voice.
“No worries, Miss Parker.” You chuckle. She laughs out at your words.
“Oh please, I'm not that old Y/n, just call me May, like everyone else.” She smiles politely at you.
“I'm not everyone else.” You smile back. She shakes her head with a grin. “No you are not,”
“Well, I have to go pick something up from the store, help yourself,” she gestures inside, “Peters in his room, most likely building a lego set.” She pauses, “Or looking up ones he wants.”
You laugh and nod, waving goodbye and walking in. You take your shoes off and shut the door. You’re kind of glad May forgot to ask what you are doing here, that makes this easier at least.
You huff out looking out at the tiddy cozy apartment. You have always loved it here. It is so homey and welcoming, and it always makes you feel a little more at ease. And now is no exception.
You slip off your shoes and as you walk by the coach you put your bag down to rest.
“Peter?” You ask as you walk closer to Peter's ajar door. You see the back of his head turned down, looking at some papers on his desk. You can see the white wire of his head phones sticking out from under his chocolate brown hair.
You push the door slightly and slip through. You walk closer to him, trying to keep your heart from picking up its fast pace again. You call out to him again, and this time place a hand on his shoulder.
Peter jumps up out of his chair, trying to look intimidating in a fighting pose. But the intimidation doesn't last long because he slips on a sweatshirt on the ground and falls.
You erupt into a fit of laughter. Peters just looks startled, but when his brain finally acknowledges the situation, his eyes go wide in relief. When he gets up and you are still laughing, struggling to breathe, his cheeks go pink in embarrassment.
“It's not that funny,” he mumbles out. This only gets you laughing again. He tries to hide his smile by stuffing his face in his hands.
“Ok, ok, sorry.” You chuckle trying to slow your breathing and calm down.
“You just jumped so high and then slipped on nothing.” You say rubbing your face with a grin.
“It wasn’t nothing.” He says kicking the sweatshirt on the ground further away from him and then walks to the door.
“Mhh,” you hum in amusement following behind him.
“What are you doing here anyway?” He asks as he leads you to sit in the living room with him.
“Well,” You sigh, still a little breathless from laughing. You pause, try to create a coherent sentence that won’t make Peter run and hide. You sit in the meantime and Peter sits down next to you.
“I need to talk to you.” Your face gets more serious and it worries him. “Why? Did something happen?” He asks as his brows furrow in concern.
“No, no, no, nothing happened. Or, no. More like I want to stop something from happening again.” You realize the sentence makes the situation sound different then what it is.
“Did I do something?” Peter asks his brows furrowing further.
“No. No never. It’s just,” you trail off, and before you can pull yourself together to spit it out he cuts you off.
“Did someone else do something? Can I help?” Peter's head tilts and his lips form a frown listening attentively.
“No,” you stutter out. “Just listen to me for a second Pete.” He nods with a quick apology. Then his full attention is on you. His eyes unwavering staring into yours. Suddenly you can’t breathe, but you try to speak either way.
“You know how you get-“ you pause to rephrase. “How Flash is a dick towards you?” Peter nods slowly waiting for you to continue. You hadn’t told him about the guys bothering you, and want to keep it that way.
“And how, today he made fun of you for not having a girlfriend?” Peter nods, getting wary.
“Well, I mean-“ you stutter over your words “if you want, and feel, you know, comfortable or whatever,” you swallow the lump in your throat. He nods again, smiling softly to try and ease the tension in your shoulders and urging you on. You squeeze your eyes shut and blurt it out.
“I could pretend to be your girlfriend at school and stuff,”
When you peak an eye open, you see Peter's shoulders slumped and his eyes wide. In utter disbelief.
“Then no one would ever give you a hard time,” You quickly explain so your point doesn’t come across wrong.
You wait for Peter to say something. You wait for him to tell you no, or to say yes. You wait for him to say anything at all. But he’s radio silent.
Worry begins to creep up your spine. The pit in your stomach grows inch by inch every second he’s quiet. What if this is the wrong conclusion? What if you stepped too far? What have you done?
Fuck. You shouldn't have come. You shouldn’t have been stupid enough to think this was a good idea.
But out of nowhere, as if he just realizes that he’s the person you’re talking to, he speaks up.
“You would- do that for me?” He asks as his eyes grow soft and his eyebrows raise hopefully.
“Well, I mean, sure.” You nervously chuckle out. Rubbing the back of your neck with your palm.
“And anyways, you’d keep the creepy guys away from me.” You note as Peter seems to step back taking everything you’ve said in. What if he starts laughing? What if he is messing with you? He wouldn’t do that, right?
“I- I-“ you hold your breath as he begins talking, the pit in your stomach makes you feel like you might throw up. If he doesn’t hurry up you’re sure you’ll apologize profusely and run out of the apartment before he can say anything.
“I would love-“ Peter smiles “to be your boyfriend Y/n.”
Oh.
You let out a shaky breath. It worked. You don’t believe it. He said yes.
“Really?” You ask, a small quizzical smile on your face.
“Yeah.” He says grinning wide.
Well shit. It worked.

 |——————————— ⴵ ———————————|
Joel wasn't very happy when he learned he would be smuggling a fifteen year old girl across the country. However, the pay couldn't be denied, and his partner, Tess, wanted to get paid.
After taking on the job, and after losing Tess, Joel soon realised the girl he was smuggling was slowly healing him. He hated it. He hated the feeling of erasing his daughter. Of replacing her. And so, he pushed the girl away. He pretended as though he hated her, never starting an actual conversation and pretending to hate her talking.
The truth, however, was quite different. What Joel hated the most, was the fact that this new girl was making him fearful. Making him scared of losing another daughter. Making him fear the fact that he may not be able to protect this girl, that he may fail her, just like he failed his daughter.
After some time, the girl grew on him. He started openly enjoying her conversation, and her endless talking. He started receiving her hugs, and enjoying the warm feeling that seemed to heal his wounds on the inside.
But then, both Joel and the girl arrived at the hospital.
The destination you both fought so hard to get to. This was all that Joel was supposed to do. Drop you off with the Fireflies, and get the hell out of there.
Yet, when it was time, he couldn't. What would you do after travelling across the entire country with a girl? Travelling for almost an entire year? Could you give her up?
One thing was certain. Joel couldn't, and he wouldn't.
Killing the entire hospital had been easy. He had the motivation to save you, and that was all that he needed. Killing the people that were trying to hurt you was easy. You needed to survive, and he would make sure you did.
The lying was what was difficult.
Joel lied to you. He promised you that there was no cure, that you weren't of any use to them. You believed him. Or rather, you wanted to believe him. Somewhere, deep down, you knew the truth. You knew Joel was lying, but you didn't let him know. You wanted to believe him, and so you did.
Now things were different. You had gone back to Jackson. Together with Joel you decided that living with Tommy would be best, so you went back.
Things were good. You were good. You like hanging out with the other kids around Jackson, and you liked having family. You enjoyed how Tommy, Maria and Joel all cared for you. They were the only ones that knew your secret, and they were your family now.
You had never experienced something like this before. You had never had any family, and now you suddenly had a whole town.
However, after about a year, things went bad.
You ran away from Jackson, stealing your horse from the stables and returning to the Firefly hospital. You needed to know the truth. You need to be sure. You knew Joel was lying, but you needed proof.
After finding it, you had gotten mad. Joel had lied to you, actually lied to you.
Joel had come to look for you, taking a horse as well and following you. He knew where you would go, and when he did find you, you forced him to tell you the truth. He did, and after doing so, you broke down.
You weren't mad that Joel saved your life. You weren't mad that there was no cure. If there was a possibility of a cure being made, you knew a group like the Fireflies shouldn't be the ones to possess it. They would use it for bad things. They would manipulate people and use the cure as a way of making other people do their bidding.
No. You were mad that Joel lied.
The truth was something you could handle, but the fact that the most important person in your life lied about something so big, something so important. That was what pissed you off.
However, it didn't take long before you forgave Joel.
You might have been mad, but you weren't unreasonable. You loved Joel, and you knew he loved you. Why else would he have killed almost the entirety of the Fireflies?
Now you lived with him, or at least, in his garage. He lived in the house, and he had helped you turn the garage into a livable room. He helped you decorate it, and together with Tommy he dragged the couch and the bed in.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Today you went out on patrol. Jesse assigned you and Dina to check out the creek trails. You had never done that route before, so you followed along as Dina showed you everything you needed to know about this route.
“So what's going on between you and Jesse?” you asked Dina as you two rode along the creek trails, shielding your face slightly due to the snow.
“That's what you wanna talk about?!” Dina replied smugly, to which you shrugged.
“I dunno. It seemed kinda awkward this morning,” you continued, and yohearsdd Dina chuckle a bit.
“I don't know if I'm still into Jesse. I mean, his parents are nice, but me and him were just on autopilot. I'm not sure I liked that,” Dina explained, pulling her horse to a stop.
“We should check out these houses. Infected roam through this area once in a while,” Dina said, getting off her horse and reaching for her gun.
You followed her example, getting off your horse and grabbing your gun. After making sure it was loaded, you entered the first house, Dina following closely.
“So what are you doing tonight?” Dina asked after deeming the house was clear.
“I was gonna watch a movie with Joel, why?” you responded, checking a few of the drawers in hope of there being supplies.
“Some kids were talking about sneaking out to go sledding. I thought maybe you'd wanna join.”
You chuckled. “Sounds fun, but maybe another time,” you said as you walked back to your horse.
-------------------------------------------------------------
After riding for about another hour, you arrived at a supermarket. It was clear there were infected inside, and you were on patrol after all.
After clearing the building you went back outside, but soon realised the storm had heavily picked up. You ran to your horse and followed Dina as she guided you to another look-out. You could rest there and wait out the storm.
You and Dina got settled after finding the weed downstairs.
You knew Eugene was a funny guy, but never had you expected this. You and Dina decided to smoke one of the joints while waiting, but were soon interrupted when Jesse ran into the room.
“What are you doing here?!” Jesse asked in surprise. “You're supposed to be on patrol,” he finished unimpressed.
“There's a blizzard outside…?” you replied in confusion.
“Why aren't you at the fucking look-out?” Dina asked Jesse, who got a look on his face that you did not appreciate.
“Because Tommy and Joel didn't show up!”
“What…?” you asked hurriedly, suddenly very alert. The weed cleared quickly from your system. The relaxing effects immediately leaving after hearing what Jesse said.
“What do you mean they didn't show up?”
“We waited for them for an hour,” Jesse explains.
“How much of their region have you covered?” you asked quickly, putting your jacket back on and grabbing your backpack.
“We don't know what's out there. I don't like you riding solo,” Jesse quickly replied, which you interrupted.
“Exactly. What if they need help?”
Jesse sighed. “Okay, I will come from the east, Dina you come from west, and you come from south but be smart about it,” he told you.
You nodded and quickly made your way towards the exit.
-------------------------------------------------------------
It only took you a few hours before you found Joel. Him and Tommy were waiting out the storm at a mansion only a few hours' ride from Jackson. They were there with another group.
Apparently, Tommy and Joel had been caught off guard by a group infected. While they were running away from them, they ran into a girl. They helped her while she was being attacked by some runners, killing them and helping her run.
After they got locked into the look-out while the infected were trying to break the doors down, the girl, Abby, had told them about the mansion she and her friends were staying in.
Tommy and Joel brought Abby there, and they were allowed to wait out the storm with them.
However, you didn't know that yet. and so, you went around the house, climbing over a fence and making your way inside quickly.
You had your gun raised as you heard chatter coming from a room inside the house. You carefully checked each room, making sure you didn't miss anything or anyone as you tried to find the source of the chatter.
You then arrived in something that looked like the living room. There was a fire going and you could feel the heat from the room
You could also hear a lot of chatter, which quickly made you realise that whoever these people were, they were with a lot. You raised your gun, loading it while entering the room. However, what you saw wasn't exactly what you expected.
Joel was there, and he was chatting with Tommy and the other people in the room.
“Joel?!” you asked out of relief, walking further into the room.
“Y/n? What are you doing here?” Joel asked surprised, getting up from his seat and embracing you in his arms when you went to hug him.
“You guys never showed up at the look-out. I thought you fucking died,” you replied, hitting him on the arm.
Joel chuckled. “I'm not gonna die. The storm caught us off guard, and the look-out was swarmed with infected. We just needed another place to wait out the storm,” he explained.
“Let's hope Jesse and Dina find us soon, and let's hope they didn't run into the herd that you tried avoiding,” you sighed in annoyance, allowing Joel to push your shoulders.
“I gotta get Shimmer. I left her outside,” you explained, and Joel nodded.
“Go to the front, we'll open the gate for ya,” Tommy said as he got up. Another guy got up as well, and he followed Tommy to the gate.
-------------------------------------------------------------
After getting Shimmer inside and everything being settled, you sat down next to Joel, Tommy sitting on the other side of you.
“So who are you?” asked one of the guys from the group. He looked to be Spanish, and he couldn't have been older than 25.
“I'm y/n,” you replied. “What about you?”
The guy, Manny, introduced himself and the others, telling you they came from Seattle and were just passing through. After talking with the group for a while, Jesse and Dina found you as well. That’s when you returned to Jackson.
The snow storm had mostly calmed down, and with that the possibility came to safely return to Jackson.
You returned to Jackson, followed by the group that you met in the mansion. Tommy offered them to stock up before their return to Seattle, and they had gratefully accepted.
After returning to Jackson, you were quick to get back to your room. The day had wrecked you, and you were physically and emotionally broken. You didn't mind that the group would leave when you would be asleep, but you had the feeling one girl did. You didn't miss the many times she looked you up and down, almost as if she was checking you out.
You couldn't care less, though. She would be leaving for Seattle soon anyway.
The next morning she was gone, and you went on about your life. You watched that movie with Joel, and you went on your patrol with Dina and Jesse. Everything seemed to have gone back to normal, until she showed up.
-------------------------------------------------------------
It had been a few months since the run in with the Seattle group, and you had been sticking closer to Joel than you ever had before. When he went on patrols, you went with him. It even went as far as sleeping in the house with him. You were terrified of losing him and you didn't want to leave him, even for a moment.
Joel couldn't deny how much he enjoyed you sticking close to him. He as well was once afraid of losing you. After telling you the truth Joel was afraid he had lost you, And when he realised he hadn't, he wanted to be around you as much as possible as well.
He gladly took you in, cooking dinner for the two of you for when you returned from either your patrols or hanging out with Jesse and Dina.
He enjoyed you openly loving him again.
Of course, you had never stopped loving him, but you did stop showing it at some point. Now you were back to openly showing it again, hanging out around Joel as much as possible.
Everything was back to normal in Jackson, until she showed up.
You remembered her name was Abby, and the guy she was with was Manny. They were with the Seattle crew, and now they were here.
They weren't travelling alone, however. You were quick to spot the little boy hiding behind Abby.
They were let in quickly. Jackson was known for its hospitality, and neither Tommy nor Maria would ever let anyone stand outside of the gates, especially not someone they had met before.
You were quick to be at the gate, welcoming Abby and Manny inside while you tried to get a good look at the little boy. You hadn't seen him before, and by his body language you could tell he was afraid.
It didn't make much sense to you that they would show up here in Jackson. They had told you about their own settlement. How they had lived there for many years and how it was their home. Yet now, they were here, miles away from the place they claimed was their home.
After following Maria and Tommy, who got the people inside quickly, you helped with preparing a meal for them.
You served it, and they ate quickly, clearly not having eaten a lot in the past few weeks, maybe even months.
After they ate, Abby explained what had happened, and why they had come to Jackson. Apparently, their group, the Wolves, were at war with another group, the Scars, or Seraphites, as the little boy corrected. The rest of their crew got taken out by said Seraphites, and while Abby was travelling to see her friend, Owen, she ran into two Scars.
They helped her, saved her life, and in turn she saved theirs.
Apparently, Lev, the little boy, had a sister, who had broken her arm. Abby helped her, and together with Mel, who you remembered was in the Seattle crew, they removed her arm, saving Yara from compartment syndrome.
However, when Lev had gone back to the island of the Seraphites to talk to his mother, Yara and Abby had gone after him, which eventually resulted in Yara's death.
The leader of the Wolves, Isaac, wanted to kill Lev, and he was prepared to kill Abby as well if she didn't get out of the way. Abby had protected Lev, and after Isaac was shot Abby and Lev made their way away from the island.
They had run into Manny, and after Abby explained what happened, they had decided to go back to Jackson, hoping to find shelter there.
The little boy was a Seraphite, and because Abby protected him, she was seen as a traitor to her own people. However, she didn't mind. Lev was her people now, and she would do anything to protect him. It reminded you of Joel and yourself, and after hearing their story, you wanted to help.
Abby, Manny and Lev were given a house in Jackson, and they were each given tasks in which they could help out. They weren't required to do anything while they were still settling in, but if they wanted to help, they could.
Seeing as though you had been in Jackson quite some time, and you had connections with Tommy and Maria, you were assigned to help them out a bit. Show them how things work around Jackson, and help them settle in. It was to be assumed they would need some time to adjust, but you were pleasantly surprised when they seemed to be settling in quite well.
You had started taking a liking to Abby, however. She was strong and beautiful, kind and funny. You liked her, and you were pretty sure she liked you too.
a/n: part one of this au is done, yippie! I wasn’t sure how to end this, so enjoy the sloppy, terrible ending. I promise to do better by part two :)

the swim quotient
pairing ➳ swim instructor!peter parker x reader
w.c. ➳ 4.6k
summary ➳ peter’s your swim instructor and even though you want to keep a professional relationship with him, feelings– and your best friend– get in the way.
okay so this is supposed to be my birthday present to myself (even tho it was like a week ago so belated birthday, me) this fic could be read for mcu as well as tasm peter
Tumblr media
“8 to 9 am is the time for kids. if you want one-on-one lessons, you need to come at 7 am.” the guy behind the desk told you that as he pushed down his glasses to get a better look at your face. you nodded and filled the form for one-on-one classes and paid the fees.
it would be just easier without all the humiliation, you thought, that’s why you chose to learn alone. it was a reasonable price even if it cost you a few more bucks than learning with the others.
“your trainer will be mr. parker.” he informed you and you thanked him, “you’ll find his number in the list outside.” exchanging smiles with the older man before you left the office of the community club. you checked out the list, clicking a picture of number under the name ‘peter parker’.
you hoped the guy wasn’t too harsh on you. you still remembered the time your dad taught you how to drive. just the thought of it made you wince. the constant jabs at your sanity and judgement, it all was just too much to handle. but you were hoping for the best now.
when your friend called you on your way back home, you told her about your idea of learning how to swim, “you know, i would have saved you in case you were drowning.”
you rolled your eyes but her comment made you chuckle, “what if you weren’t there?” you held the phone between your shoulder and ear as you fished for your keys in the tote bag you were carrying, “i’m a little nervous, what if this peter parker guy is horrible?”
“there’s a guy?” you could practically hear your friend’s raised eyebrow but you continued your ramble, not stopping for her to elaborate on her thoughts.
“you know, i don’t really trust any guy to teach me anything.” you entered your apartment, placing the keys in the keyholder and kicking off your shoes, “they’re just not that good at teaching.”
“maybe he’s a cute guy?” she chuckled at the other end.
“it won’t matter if he’s not a good guy!” you sighed, plopping down at your couch, your legs instinctively going up as you placed them one over the other on the couch.
“what if he’s a really good guy.” your friend could not have sounded more suggestive and you almost wanted to gag at that comment.
“gwendolyne.” as you’d guessed, a whine sounded from the other side of the phone. she hated when anyone called her, her full name.
“it’s gwen for you. anyway, just give it a try and if you don’t like his way of teaching, then you can just ask for another coach.” she said and you thought it over. she was right, you could always ask for a different person to teach you.
“thanks, gwen.” you smiled, “okay, i have to go now but i’ll call you later.”
the next day you were on your way to the community club pool and even though you had hated waking up at 6 am, you were also a little excited– and nervous– to experience something new.
you entered the facility, carrying your swimming costume and other equipment in your tote bag. as the swimming pool came into view, your eyes searched for your trainer– he has to be around here somewhere.
“excuse me, miss?” the voice came from behind and you turned to find the source. your mouth parted to say something but no words came out. if anyone else was in your place, you thought, they would have had the same reaction. a gorgeously tanned guy, brown mop of hair swept across his forehead in a way that was messy but as if on purpose. and oh, he was not wearing a t-shirt.
his swim trunks hung from his waist perfectly, carved abs and a chiselled torso above that. you were almost mesmerised by just one look of him.
“um… you’re (y/n), right?” you noticed his tinted cheeks and snapped yourself out of your daydream.
“that’s me.” you answer, standing up straighter, “you must be mr. parker?”
“oh, call me peter, please.” he smiled at you and you were bound to give him one back, “why don’t you go and change and we’ll get started.”
“yes.” you nodded, quickly making your way to one of the changing rooms. your mind was racing with thoughts as you changed into the swim gear. he seemed in his early twenties, very close to your age but finding him attractive felt against your morals. you were supposed to have a professional relationship with him and if he was a good teacher, you would just suppress your feelings deeper inside you than the depth of this swimming pool.
“all ready.” you said, walking out from the changing room only to find peter was already in the swimming pool, his hair falling in front of his eyes as he emerged out of the pool. he pushed his hair back, away from his forehead, as it sat perfectly over his head.
“hey!” peter gave you a smile as you walked to the side of the pool where the pool ladder was situated, “you excited for your first lesson?”
“a little nervous.” you chuckled, telling him the truth for some reason. you should probably trust the guy if he was going to be the one who pulled you out in case you were drowning.
“hey. no need for that.” his voice was comforting as you climbed down into the pool, the water level reaching your chest, “just breathe… while your head is above water.”
“what?” you couldn’t help but chuckle at his little quip.
“sorry, that was a silly joke. anyway, let’s start with holding our breath underwater, alright?”
“you’re the boss” you smiled.
“okay, i’m not the kind of person to be all like, ‘i told you so’ but i told you so!” gwen exclaimed before you even finished your sentence.
“i was going to say he’s a good teacher!” you were back at your apartment and it was after you had breakfast that you received a call from gwen.
“and?” she waited for you to go on as if she already knew.
“and… he was kind of cute.”
“i knew it!” she cheered and you couldn’t help but laugh along with her, “you should totally kiss him.”
“i- he doesn’t even like me! i want to keep it professional.” you had said it with an affirmative tone but you doubted your own voice.
“maybe tomorrow?” you groaned at that.
“you’re mad. bye.” you chuckled.
“maybe tomorrow you can make out in the-” that was the last you heard of your friend’s voice before you cut the call.
the next day you made it to the pool on time. there was no sign of peter and you didn’t know whether you should get in the pool or not. you waited, sitting patiently on the bench near the pool until you caught sight of peter. he was carrying a bunch of equipment almost too much for a single person to carry.
you rushed up to him, “hey.” you said. he smiled when he saw you.
“sorry, i’m late.”
you just shook your head at his apology and held out your arms, “need some help?” him handing you a few of the kickboards and a few goggles.
the two of you carried those to the store room and placed the certain items in their assigned boxes. peter checked the time on his phone once you both were done, “we only have 40 minutes left, why don’t you go change and we’ll start right where we left yesterday?”
you gave him a nod and quickly went to change into your swimming clothes.
once the two of you were inside the pool, peter told you to hold onto the wall, “i need you to relax your body and hold your breath for as long as you can.”
you nodded and slid your pair of goggles over your eyes before doing as he told you. estimatedly 30 seconds later, your head was out of the water as you released your breath, standing beside your instructor.
“good! that was good. almost three seconds more than yesterday.” he gave you a grin and you chuckled, “now what i want you to do is breathe out through your nose slowly while you’re underwater.” he explained.
again you did as he said, pulling yourself up every time you needed a breath.
“don’t push your limits.” peter said once after you had tried to hold your breath for longer than 35 seconds, “my arm is right here in case you need to hold onto something.” a blush appeared over his cheeks as he realised what that must’ve sounded like, “you know! i-in case you need help.”
maybe it was you, reading in between the lines, but the chuckle he let out made him sound kind of nervous. you were definitely not going to tell gwen about this.
over the next two days, you continued to practice breath holding underwater until peter proposed you move on to the next step. as soon as you entered the pool that day, it was the first thing he said.
“leave the wall?” you gave him a look of uncertainty, “are you sure i’m ready for that?”
peter nodded simply and held out his hands for you to take, “here, i’ll help you.” you took his hands but he could probably notice your nervousness– which he didn’t need to know was partly because both your hands were in his– and hesitancy as he said, “just trust me, okay?”
“i trust you.” you replied before his sentence was even finished.
he smiled, pulling you away from the edge of the pool slightly, “i won’t leave your hands until you’re completely ready.” he smiled and guided you to relax your body and let it float just like you had been doing up until now. this time, however, it was peter’s skilled hands that you were holding instead of the dull wall.
he walked back, pulling you along the surface of the body as you let yourself float against the water. It was only a few seconds in that you pulled yourself up from the water, holding tightly onto peter’s hands, “s-sorry, i-” you expected him to be frustrated or scold you for not doing better. but he didn’t do any of that.
“you okay?” he squeezed your hands gently, “did you accidentally breathe in water? it happens when you’re a beginner.”
“i’m okay. i just thought i was going down instead of floating.” you chuckled a little awkwardly.
“oh! that means that you need to push your head further down. if your head is down, your legs will automatically float close to the surface.” he explained, all the while holding your hands and you nodded, letting him know that you were listening to him even though you were zoning out, a fluttering heart in your chest as you outlined his slightly wet curls.
thankfully you had understood the basic points of what he was trying to explain to you which made your session go smoothly from that point.
when the two of you were out of the pool and the kids had started filling in, you walked over to peter, who was standing with another guy and talking to him.
when you reached the two men chatting over whatever they were chatting over. the other guy nudged peter’s side with his elbow, giving him a smirk as soon as you reached there. He quickly turned, eyes slightly wide, “oh. hey (y/n)!” he seemed nervous again but the other guy cleared his throat before you could say anything, “right! (y/n), this is my friend ned. ned, (y/n).”
ned leeds. you’d read his name on the list of employees outside the community club office, just below peter’s name.
“i’ve heard a lot about you, (y/n).” ned gave you a smile, extending his hand for a handshake.
“oh?” you looked over at peter, shaking ned’s hand, but the brunette’s head was already turned towards his friend in what you could only assume a warning. it made you chuckle, “i teach the kids.” ned gave you a smile and you could tell why he was the one assigned to teach the kids. he seemed like the kind of person who was good at making people around him comfortable just with his presence.
“you wanted to say something?” peter was the one to ask after ned parted ways with the two of you to look after all the kids– there were way too many.
“i just wanted to ask whether i did well today…” you gave him a little smile.
“oh, you’re a natural.” he grinned back, “i was impressed!”
“yeah?” you asked, not really believing his words, even though a warmth covered your whole body. you felt a deep sense of accomplishment and the smile on your face increased tenfold.
“yeah.” he confirmed, a smile covering his own face.
“thank you.” you smiled, eyes staring into his beautiful brown ones, “you look nicer when i’m not wearing the goggles.”
peter looked at you, “w-what?”
was that a nervous ‘what’ or a disgusted ‘what’? god, had you messed up already? how could you have said that out loud? it was probably one of those stupid moments of confidence boost where you ended up telling an answer to the whole class in a very firm voice only to be told it was wrong.
you gave him a pursed smile, “uh.. i should get going. see you then.”
the look of stun was still written all over his face as you turned to leave, but you didn’t give him a chance to say something. you weren’t ready to face rejection from a guy you hadn’t even asked out. not that you were thinking about asking him out. for all you cared, you didn’t care at all.
you felt a small splash of water on your leg, wetting your jogging shoes. you let out an offended, “hey!” before you noticed the little girl leaning against the wall of the pool. you raised your eyebrows at her as she beckoned you closer with her little hand. you leaned forward in a squat position in front of her to let her say whatever it was she wanted, “hey kid, is everything alright?”
“i’m cassie.” she introduced herself before asking, “is he your boyfriend?”
even though peter could not be seen around anymore, you were certain whom she was referring to.
you chuckled and shook your head, “oh, no. he’s not my boyfriend.” yet you wanted to add but somehow refrained yourself from doing so.
“i think he is cute.” she gave you a challenging look, making you chuckle at her adorableness.
“hey, i’ll back off if you like him.” you promised, giving her a finger gun. she shrugged.
“if you really like him then, i can let you have him.” she said, her elbows holding onto the pavement that was beneath your feet.
“oh, really? that’s very sweet of you, cassie.” you smiled at her.
“but you have to buy me ice-cream.” she grinned before quickly turning away and swimming away at the sight of ned walking towards that side of the pool.
it was raining heavily the next day. you thought to call peter before going to the pool unannounced in case it was closed. you called him once at 6:23 am but his phone was busy. who could he be talking to this early in the morning?
he called you back at 6:24. you picked up after counting to five, not wanting to seem too desperate, “hello?”
“hey, (y/n).” you could hear the small smile he was holding on the other end, making you think if he had forgiven you for what you blurted out yesterday, “what’s up?”
“hey... peter, it’s raining pretty heavily, are you going to the swimming pool today?”
“oh, i’m already in! but i understand if you can’t make it today.” he stated and you nodded, realising after a moment that he couldn’t see you.
“yeah, i can’t today… and tomorrow’s sunday so i guess i’ll see you monday?” you asked.
“sounds good!” he said.
you held the phone close to your ears, not really knowing what else to say. you couldn’t think of anything as you silently heard all the background commotion on his end. he didn’t say anything either and for a moment the thought that he didn’t want to end the call either crossed your mind.
but you pushed that out of your head.
“i’m sorry about yesterday.” you finally spoke, “i shouldn’t say that to-”
“i appreciated it… it just came as a surprise.” he chuckled, “and you left too quickly.”
you couldn’t help the smile that covered your face after hearing his comment, “sorry about that.”
“hey, stop apologising already. maybe i can give you a compliment next time so that we’re even.”
it was your turn now to fall silent. your heart skipped three beats at once as he said that. despite that, you found yourself smiling, “sure, i don’t see why not.”
there was another beat of silence but peter decided to break it before it could get uncomfortable, “so, you busy?”
and so the conversation continued. you told him you were just looking out to the street where small water puddles had already formed. you told him that you loved the rain. he told you that he hated it since the time it rained so much on his birthday that he was stuck at school for five straight hours until his uncle ben came to pick him up.
it was almost an hour later when you had to excuse yourself from peter as your doorbell rang.
“i’ll see you monday!” he said before hanging up and you quickly made your way towards the door. whoever it was had rung the doorbell twenty times in five seconds.
so probably gwen.
“i cannot believe this!” was the first thing she said as she welcomed herself into your house. no ‘hello’s or ‘how are you’s, “a car went right past me and almost stained my lab coat!”
“um... good morning to you too?” you chuckled, watching her get comfortable over your couch as she removed her shoes. she was clearly going through a rough week, “what’s wrong?”
you sat over the couch and her head immediately rested on your lap, “i can’t smell any more chemicals. my brain will explode.” she complained as you ran your hand through her hair.
“you were at the lab all night again?”
“slept on the couch” she sighed and relaxed further, feeling your fingers thread through her hair comfortingly.
“maybe you should slee-”
“coffee.” she mumbled, “i need some coffee.”
getting up from the couch, she made her way into the familiar kitchen, the white tiles reflecting enough light for her to wince and squint her eyes.
“are you sure you should have coffee right now?” you asked, leaning against the counter as she pulled out her favourite coffee mug from your cupboard.
“yes.”
soon the two of you settled back onto the couch, this time with your respective coffee mugs as you talked about her work. then gwen decided to shift the conversation to you, “so how’s swimming going?”
“it’s alright.” you tried to hold back your smile but gwen kept staring at you, making you break out laughing.
“and how’s your sexy trainer?” she took a sip from her coffee unbothered whereas you almost choked on yours, coughing slightly, “come on, you can tell me.” she pushed a little.
“he’s alright.” you replied, trying to sound disinterested but who were you fooling. gwen knew you better than that.
“so, when are you asking him out?” once again you almost spat your coffee out, deciding to place the coffee mug on the coaster at your coffee table for good.
“okay, you need to stop. we’re just friends. he’s supposed to be my trainer, that’s all.” you rambled out and gwen gave you a look that told you to cut through all the bullshit, “and i like him.” you whined, falling against the armrest of your couch.
“ask. him. out.” your best friend said, emphasizing on each of her word.
“he doesn’t even-”
“how do you know! have you ever tried… oh, i don’t know, asking him out?”
you rolled your eyes at her stubbornness. it was a trait you simultaneously loved and hated about her, “i’m not doing that.”
“ask him out.”
“what if he has a girlf-”
“ask him out and he’ll tell you.”
“but what if he doesn’t want to-”
“ask him out!”
“gosh! gwen i can’t.” you shook your head, mostly to yourself.
“(y/n). come on. ask him out before someone else does.” gwen said, a soft look etched over her features despite being deeply sleep-deprived, “have faith in yourself.” she smiled
“i-i’ll see…” you gave her a smile back, feeling an ounce of confidence, “maybe i will ask him out.”
“now that’s my girl!” gwen grinned and threw her arms around you.
you spent your sunday taking gwen out to dinner and then shopping because she deserved the break and you knew the second monday’s first minute illuminated on the digital clock beside her bed, she would start worrying about working her ass off on her new project.
and you were right as she called you just as you were about to leave your house for your swimming class, complaining about the horrible coffee in the lab, “i would have picked up some on my way here but it was too early.” she groaned.
“maybe i can bring some over after swimming today?” you offered, locking the door to your apartment and throwing the keys into your bag.
“unless you’re too busy with your peter guy?” gwen snorted at the groan you let out at her comment, “you’re asking him out today.”
“yeah, yeah, yeah.” you dismissed and quickly added, “and i’m never too busy for you, you know that.”
“i know.” she said, making you smile. the two of you bid each other a goodbye once she had to get back to work.
you found peter sitting in the same spot you had waited for him that day as soon as you reached the pool. you quickly changed and walked back out, noticing that he was still busy scrolling through his phone. walking up to him, you tried to not look into his phone as he texted someone, “watcha doing?”
he jumped at your question, looking up at you with wide, brown eyes, “oh. you scared the crap out of me.” he chuckled, registering that you had asked him a question, “i was just texting my aunt… about groceries and stuff.”
“oh.” you said, your mouth forming an ‘o’ shape.
“so, you ready?” he asked and you nodded.
You climbed down the stairs of the pool ladder until your feet touched the tiled floor. Peter jumped in after you.
“i think it’s time we started kicking.” was the first thing he said, “i’ll show you how it’s done then you can do it too.” you nodded and watched as he dived inside, kicking the water with his legs as he slowly moved forward, leaving behind small splashes in his wake.
swimming back towards you quickly, he wiped back his hair from his forehead and you somehow forced yourself to not lend him a hand, “your turn!”
you gave him a smile, breaking out of your chain of thoughts, “okay then.” taking a deep breath you got ready to go underwater but peter’s hand wrapping around your wrist stopped you. you looked at him this time with slightly widened eyes, “uh…?”
“you’re not wearing your glasses.” he laughed and this time you were pretty sure that he seemed nervous as he held onto your wrist.
“oh.” you realised and pfft-ed at yourself, “silly me.”
he released your hand then but before you could do anything to adjust your goggles, his hands went up, fingers grabbing at the edge of the eyewear, gently propping it over your eyes carefully, “that okay?”
you weren’t quite sure if you’d noticed right but just before the glasses covered your eyes, a tint of pink covered his cheeks. or it could have been just your rose tinted goggles. damn uv protection.
“o-oh. yep.” you replied, feeling your cheeks heat up. he smiled sweetly at you and you almost wanted to grab his pretty face right there and kiss over those upturned lips of his. but you couldn’t. not like this.
“you okay?” he asked, looking slightly concerned but you quickly nodded, not feeding into his worries.
“yeah.” you dived in then, keeping your hands straight as you kicked your legs up and down. you remembered his advice for keeping your head low and you applied that. almost thirty to forty seconds later, you resurfaced and took a deep breath, “was that alright?”
“yeah! that was good for a first try!” he gave you an encouraging smile, “just let your waist move freely.”
“how?” you asked, a little confused.
“is it okay if i place my hands on your waist?” the question made you cough even though you were several inches away from water. peter’s hands raised in defence, “i don’t need to-”
“no, it’s fine!” you blurted out, feeling on fire which even the water surrounding you couldn’t put out, “you can.”
“okay, just do what you were doing, i’ll guide you.” he said, seeming as nervous as you were feeling.
you did as told and this time peter’s hands placed themselves on either side of your waist as you started kicking. he helped you with the movement, moving your waist a little in tandem with your legs.
after the hour was finally up and you had changed into your regular clothes, you found peter talking to ned and contemplated going up to him for all of fifteen seconds before deciding to go up to him.
you waited until ned was gone and walked in his direction, “peter?”
he immediately looked in your direction, “oh, hey… you’re leaving?”
“yeah. well, i actually… i needed to talk to you about something.” your heart was going to jump out of your chest. you couldn’t even meet his eyes, your gaze fixed upon the dusky floor.
“what is it, (y/n)?” you could feel his curious eyes over yourself.
“well, i… it’s kinda…” you waved your hands around, trying to find the right words to say until he disrupted you mid-sentence.
“is it about that compliment i owe you?” he said, letting out a small laugh. he was probably trying to lighten the mood but this was not helping your situation, “well, i’d say you’re really-”
“i kinda like you-” you shut yourself up after that, looking up to see his reaction. his face changed from one of shock to a confused one.
“wait, you-”
“i thought i would keep a professional relationship with you. but i… you’re just really pretty and it’s unfair!” you complained, not holding back now. this was your last chance. you considered he might not want you around here anymore.
“how is it unfair, exactly?” you looked up at him to catch his raised eyebrows, however, a small smile played over his lips.
“well, for starters i wish you would go out with me. but that’s-”
“yes.”
“what?” you were sure you looked like a raccoon caught red-handed stealing food.
“i wanna go out with you. afterall i do owe you a compliment.” he smiled, making you smile too.
“i might owe a little girl an ice-cream.”

“... oh my god.”
that was all you could mutter under your breath the moment you saw the rest of your co-workers controlled by that thing the alien held in his palm. you didn’t show up to work yesterday since you were just taking the final steps in finishing that project of yours.
what was the project? the hypercryogenic station.
and now, after a long day of ignoring your texts and calls, you ended up going to work, which happened to be a terrible idea. better yet, a horrible mistake. “... excuse me?” you took small steps, nearing the towering male as he just stood still, not facing you. all of your friends were doing his commands without any questions and you knew that clint barton would never do any of this!
but he did anyway. and you had to know why.
“what did you do with them?” you asked, demanding for answers as you heard him let out an almost inaudible chuckle only to be followed by a deep, low snicker. the alien slowly turned around and looked you straight in the eye, sweat pouring down his face with a sharp glare while his teeth ground against each other.
he was just terrifying, how else could you leave the facility without getting killed?
“oh, is that supposed to matter?” the alien mocked, later glancing at the staff he held before looking back at you, his smirk disappearing little by little. “... you must be horrified, aren’t you?”
of course you were, who wouldn’t be horrified when they see something like this?
but before he could even get closer to you, he suddenly stumbled. that wasn’t something you expected since you assumed that he was a powerful being out of this world after seeing that wardrobe choice but he showed… weakness? it’s hard not to take note of it for future purposes.
you then cleared your throat and asked, “are you okay?”
but he said nothing in return, tense and trembling with every step. he had a maniacal look on his face as if he couldn’t control his actions; he seemed like he was enduring something that was hurting him inside.
and that got you thinking what else was happening with the man in front of you. “so, that’s a no?”
“you’re the expert,” he said, “you’re the one blessed with knowledge over what it is that’s happening to me now.”
you frowned. you definitely had no idea what was going on with him and you were planning on leaving him to himself when he surprisingly grabbed your wrist. “heal me,” he pleaded, breathing in and out rapidly as you felt the burning heat that surrounded his palm, which led to that moment of realization.
“i… i don’t know how–,” you were then cut-off by him tilting his head to the project: the hypercryogenic station. if you ever had a scanner around you, his heat signature would be all over the place because of how high his temperature was. “but the station hasn’t even been tested yet and it could be dangerous for you and for all of us!”
the alien shook his head frantically, not letting any excuses get into his way. “if you don’t help me right now…” his breath hitched as the tip of the scepter was pointed at your chest, right at your heart. “you won’t be living for long.”
and that made you take so many steps, assisting him in the station as you closed the door. “you can’t be in there for more than a minute, it’s highly dangerous and i’m telling you, we haven’t done any tests yet–”
“just begin with the process.” his voice had gotten lower, hoarser with every moment that passed as you felt your heart race quicker. you knew that if you made a mistake, somebody like barton would kill you; there was no way out.
so the gears started running and you watched how the glass windows of the station had fogged up. your life’s work was being used by an unknown entity who took over the minds of your co-workers. your friends.
you couldn’t help but cry silently, biting your nails while you stood a meter away from the finished project. how could a five-year plan get wasted? to this unreadable, tyrannic humanoid? you can’t even breathe well.
and once the process was done, the station’s doors slid apart, creating a path for the man inside. when he stepped out of it, he didn’t even seem affected by it. all normal and human-like as if he had only bathed himself in some snow and not in an actual blizzard.
but colder than his skin was his gaze toward you, the scepter staring back at you as well, watching the way you took a few steps away from him.
“who are you?” you asked, your eyes glued to the scepter rather than his face, which caused him to get agitated.
in return, the tip of the scepter’s blade touched your chin, tilting your head up so that you could look at him. “i am loki of asgard,” he introduced with a deranged grin as you heard the way his breath hitched, overwhelmed and proud with how he spoke to you.
that was enough to make you take another step back but his hand grabbed your arm like a lock, fastened so tightly that it made everything worse for you. “what did you do with them?” you tilted your head to the blue-eyed agents now circling the entire room, which made loki laugh.
he truly was out of his mind.
“i simply used them for a greater purpose,” he said back, letting out another chuckle as the scepter gleamed in response. it was in his complete control… they were all under his control.
how in the world can you run from this?
“let them go.” “oh, we’re getting heroic now, aren’t we?”
he mocked you shamelessly as if it wasn’t your invention that saved him from his visible misery – whatever it was that hurt him earlier.
“... well, i did save you.” you just had to let a bit of sass come out because it was true. however, loki didn’t seem to be fond of that and had read that as entitlement rather than a reminder of who did save him.
nonetheless, he lowered his weapon and laughed once more. “your little saving was merely necessary, mortal. i could’ve used that machine myself.” of course, he disregarded that tiny, little favour you did for him and decided that it’d be best to not even give out a little thank you.
but then, again, what do you expect from an aspiring alien tyrant?
“but you couldn’t because i programmed it for my access only,” you continued the conversation, stating the truth right in front of him. that was your life’s work… you still couldn't believe that it was firstly used by some tall man with a scepter and emerald drapes. “besides, that thing you used wouldn't be here if it weren't for me.”
there was long silence once again… perhaps, even longer than moments of silence you had earlier when your eyes scanned over the rest of the place.
almost the entirety of the facility was led by loki. horrifyingly brainwashed by that scepter.
“fair enough,” he admitted, “but you wouldn’t be breathing if i hadn’t given you the chance.”
“... do you want me to thank you? for this?” “giving thanks means nothing. i need something much more than that.”
you crossed your arms, gulping as you still tried to make yourself seem as if you had the upper hand. an imaginary upper hand, perhaps? although you had put on that mask, loki knew you were afraid of what he could do to you.
if this is only a preview of the damage he’s capable of causing, just how could you survive while being opposed to him?
“i could…” he trailed off, smirking to himself as he circled the station, his palm touching its painted and carved surface while the scepter glowed in his other hand. “hm… i could do the same to you. put your talent to use like the others.”
and you readied yourself, closing your eyes as your once crossed arms dropped to your sides, hopeless and left without a sign of help. “but you have not attacked me once,” he said with a tone of interest, diverting his attention from the opportunity of just controlling you like a mindless servant and rather feeling positive about a different, riskier path. “and you’ve saved me. willingly. no control needed.”
he walked towards you, breathing heavily and letting out a low chuckle. “do you know what gift you have, dr. l/n?” he questioned, expecting you to know the answer as he tilted your head upwards again with the end of the scepter. one wrong push and you could bleed to death; he was being careful with you still.
after all, you were a great addition to his plans.
“humanity, l/n.” he proudly stated, now lowering his weapon as your heart raced. never did you fear death until now, especially when your life would fade to grey without the knowledge of what’ll happen next. to the world and the people around you. “you’ve got so much humanity in you that your best choice was to save a dying god. it’s foolish, l/n. how could you be so brilliant but foolish?–”
“are you done?” you had enough of it, still staring at one corner as you saw how your friend’s eyes still gleamed in blue, manipulated by the god standing right in front of you while the remaining lights of the facility shone over his prepped quiver, ready to attack whenever, however.
and of course, the god of mischief was indeed offended by that. “... you’re so brave, it’s idiotic.” he laughed, shaking his head as if you both had been joking with one another and you felt the heat rush up your head; you didn’t want this. you just wanted your friends to be set free – your world to be set free from this being.
“what do you desire in return?” “for you to stop whatever you’re planning here, my lord.”
even though loki knew you were being sarcastic, he just admired the way it rolled off your tongue. “you do know that does not equate to what you’ve done for me and you might want to do something more for me if you’d want that to happen,” he said, denying your request with a snicker. “but of course, i still appreciated your service earlier so how about i offer you something else?”
he’s cheating, you thought.
“in exchange of your little saving, it’ll be guaranteed that not one of us would lay a finger on you…” he paused, hiding the scepter behind his back as you tilted your head to the side. were you even hearing this correctly? that was too low. “and you would be shielded from any harm as well.”
but can you do anything about it? no. “is that good enough for you, my little savior?”
you had to think about it for longer than a second. why only a second, you may ask? well, does it look like you still have enough time to decide perfectly? the world is at stake; you had to give an answer now or worse destruction could happen.
“fine,” you uttered, firmly extending your hand towards him as he only stared back at your empty, shaking palm. “i’ll do whatever it takes to free this world from you.”
“that’s laughable.” “we’ll see, your majesty.”

Tony sighed as he looked over at Steve for a moment before looking back at Bucky. “That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about. Y/N won't be at either of them.”
“Why wouldn't she be?” Bucky asked with a raised brow.
“Unless this is another false lead, which doesn't seem likely, given how Natasha obtained the information, but Phantom has a new mission she's been tasked with.” When Bucky crossed his arms over his chest, Tony continued. “It's us.”
“What do you mean ‘it's us’?” Steve asked.
“We're in the way.” Both Bucky and Tony said at the same time.
Of all of the scenarios Bucky’s mind had come up with on finding her, this one hadn't come up the most. He knew the chances of her being sent to take them out were high. And now that it was here, he hoped it didn't go to the worst scenario his mind came up with.
“Take out the key players and they have a winning chance.” Tony added.
“Did they say when this is supposed to happen?” Bucky asked.
Bucky knew they needed to be ready. His mind was already going through everything they'd need to safely stop Y/N. He knew it wasn't going to be easy but he was going to make sure everyone would do as needed.
“Don't know.” Tony answered. “We don't know if this will be a hit all three at once situation or attempt to take us out and then get what they need.”
“She could have been given that mission at any time.” Steve looked over at Bucky. “If she's coming, we're going to need a plan and fast.”
“The only way to know for sure is if there were any attempts at getting our information.” Bucky noted. “We'll be able to come up with some kind of timeline we're working with. But I gotta say this now. It's gotta be non lethals only, or me going up against her.”
“Of course.” Steve nodded. He was sure if given the right amount of time, several plans could be put into place. The amount of non lethals they had wouldn't run out. “There is the option of Wanda. She could do something to stop her without any harm coming to her.”
Bucky nodded. “We'll have to make sure Wanda is close by at all times.” Both Steve and Tony nodded.
“Now the question is how long do we have to prepare before she drops in. FRIDAY, has there been anything flagged as suspicious activity in any of the systems?”
All three of them looked towards each other for a moment. FRIDAY normally answered seconds after anything was asked. But this time there was silence. A moment later, alarms were going off through the compound.
“I'd say that's suspicious enough.” Tony said before the three of them began running out of the conference room.
On the opposite end of the compound Hydra soldiers continued to spill onto the property. The moment Phantom disabled the security systems, they were making their way in. While the numbers weren't one of a strong army, they currently had a bit of an advantage.
A quinjet flew overhead. One that had been in Hydra’s hold since the fall of SHIELD. Putting it to use today made it almost too easy to get close enough for Phantom to hack into the system and disarm it.
Hovering over the roof of the compound, the ramp lowered. Several soldiers moved towards the end and made their way onto the roof. A moment later, Phantom was making her way towards the ramp.
She wore black tactical gear from head to toe. The hood of her shirt had been up, casting a shadow on her face. A black fabric mask covers the bottom half of her face, adding to the illusion of her not being seen under the hood.
Several tactical belts laid at her hips. Any weapon that would be needed for her was within reach. Straps that holstered guns and blades ran down the sides of her leg ensuring that once the back up bullets ran out, she'd have other weapons to use.
Before she could put one foot on the ramp, a set of commands were thrown into the air. The words caused her to stop in her tracks and wait for either information or one last check.
A soldier came to stand beside her. His attention was on the building just below them. Her temporary handler while on this mission.
“Your mission?” He asked.
“Take out the Avengers.” She responded instantly.
“The priority?”
“The traitor to Hydra.” Phantom hadn't moved or looked his way.  “He's problematic to the mission. He feeds information to the Avengers. His death means Hydra can do as it needs to.”
“Stark and Wilson are already working the perimeter.” Steve said as the group made their way towards the main floor. “We'll meet them in the middle. Take any you can for interrogating.  If you see Y/N, non lethals only or call for Bucky. Anyone see Maximoff?”
“Good. Ensure this mission is successful.” He nodded his head towards the opening. “Don't return until it is. Preferably with his head.” Without any acknowledgement, Phantom was making her way down the ramp.
“We're down two. Her and Vision had plans.” Natasha added as she tightened the widow bites around her wrists. “Already sent a message to them and they're on their way.”
“Keep your eyes scanning.” Bucky noted as they reached the end of the hall before the main floor door. “She can come out from anywhere. If she's got all the information she needs-”
A hunter's knife blew past them before embedding itself in the door in front of them. The way the knife hit the door was a way to keep it from opening. A strategic move to keep someone from leaving.
For a brief moment as Bucky’s eyes landed on the embedded knife, a quick flash of a memory played through his mind. One where he was throwing the blade to keep Y/N from leaving. And now he was on the receiving end of it.
“No need to go looking for her.” Clint stated the obvious as they turned to look down the path they came from. “She found us.”
In the dimly lit halls, the four of them found the silhouette of Phantom. Her face couldn't be seen from their position. And from what they could see, her hands rested at her side, almost as if she was waiting. Waiting for one of them to make their move.
Bucky moved himself from his current position in the back to stand in front of the others. “Get going. I've got her.”
There was a part of him that was relieved at seeing her. He hadn't physically seen her in two years and now she was standing in front of him. The other part knew this wasn't going to be the reunion he thought about for the past several months. At this very moment, she wasn't the woman he knew. She was an asset that was sent on a mission and wasn't going to stop until it was done.
“She won't hold back.” Natasha voiced his thoughts.
“And I won't stop until I get through to her.” Bucky added.
A heavy feeling of deja vu was played on the  group. They had been here once before, under different circumstances. If history was repeating itself, at least they knew the outcome would be in their favor.
“If you need us…” Steve trailed off as he motioned for the other to began making their way down the adjacent hallway. He only received a nod from Bucky before he was following closely behind.
When Bucky took one step forward, he watched her carefully. He watched for any of her movements that she'd make. He still couldn't see her face but he knew she was watching him like a hawk.
“We don't have to do this.” His voice was loud and clear.
He took several more steps closer to her but she remained still, just watching him. When he came to a stop a few steps away from her, her eyes finally became clear within the darkness that surrounded her face. It was as he took in her eyes, the eyes he once believed that he could get lost in them, he was met with a cold and empty look.
Her mind registered different things about the man before her. His appearance was familiar to her from the several files she had read through the night before. Everything within the file had been accurate. The only difference was that his hair was several inches longer now than it was in the surveillance photos.
The gun that he carried was down by his side, hanging from the strap on his shoulder. His posture was calm, as if he wasn't currently going up against someone who could take his life.
But there was something about his eyes. How they moved over her the moment he was close enough to really examine her. The way there was concern in his eyes the whole time he walked towards her. It set off something within her she didn't understand.
“‘This’ only ends one way.” Her voice was almost monotonous. The moment the words left her lips, she was unsheathing two of the combat knives at her hips and advancing forward.
Even with it being longer than two years since the last time he had any training with her, he knew every movement she made before she had. Every strike she attempted he was blocking it. Even when she attempted to use the gun at his side, he had it out of her hands and the gun thrown down the hall.
Her tactics hadn't changed. There were slight differences but a majority of it was the same. And for a brief moment it hadn't been them standing in a hall with her attempting to kill him. They were in the gym with a sparring session. It's why he couldn't stop the words from leaving his lips.
“You're going to have to do better than that.” It was followed by a chuckle.
The response had been a lift of her eyebrow before she manuevored herself to connect her elbow to his face, hard. Based on his stance stumbling slightly, the man before her hadn't been expecting it. She almost smirked as it gave her the opportunity to sweep her legs, knocking him down.
I can't show you all my moves, then you wouldn't spar with me.
Her own voice echoed within her brain that caused her to hesitate. A response to his remark that she hadn’t even thought about responding to. Yet the echo of her own voice told her that would have been the response.
Bucky noticed the slight hesitation as he moved to get up off the ground. The shift in her eyes reminded him of his own moments when Steve was trying to break through to him. He knew he officially had one foot in the door.
“You know me.” He tried, hoping to push further.
He watched as she shook whatever was happening in her mind off before sending the blade in her hand his way. Bucky caught it by the hilt before tossing it off to the side.
“You are the Mission.” She responded. A moment later Bucky was blocking more of her advances. Including one that almost had the blade of the second knife embedded in his thigh. “That's how I know you.”
The words had stung Bucky’s heart as he managed to pull the blade out of her grasp and throw it, with the blade embedding itself into the wall. It was strange to be on this end of things. To be the one fighting to get through to someone within Hydra’s hold. He just needed to break her free from it.
It didn't take long for Bucky to find himself in a favorable hold with her. One that he knew he could easily get her pinned on the ground. And with one more maneuver he had her on her back, with him following her.
When her back hit the ground, a strange fuzzy memory quickly passed her mind. One where the man before her had a smirk on his face instead of the serious look he had now as he looked at her. The sound of a giggle echoed in her ears before the memory completely faded.
Out of instinct, she was able to manipulate the hold he currently had on her, forcing him on to his back. A blade she had attached to her hip was released from its sheath and brought up to his neck. It had been too easy to draw the first drop of blood from his body flinching against the pressure.
He raised his hands up by his head, practically surrendering to her. “I'm not going to continue to fight you. ”
She watched as his eyes met hers and never looked away. There was something in his eyes she hadn't believed she had seen before. She watched many with fear in their eyes before they began pleading for their lives. He didn't have the same look in his eyes.
There was understanding and acceptance. For a man that hardly fought her back during the last several minutes, it made her curious as to why he hadn't tried running like the others had. Or at least attempted to use his arm in defense.
She had been expecting it. She had read the information before coming. She knew the man used it to his advantage in combat. So why not with her? It had been almost too easy to have him pinned as he was now.
Her head tilted slightly as she studied him. The blade against his neck never loosened as she did. Deep within her, in a way she didn't understand, there was now a feeling of familiarity. But how could someone she did not recognize hold such familiarity.
Bucky noticed the way she was hesitating. He should have taken that opportunity to get himself out of his current position, but he was watching her reactions.
He knew from experience what could possibly be happening within her mind. He knew there was a possibility that something was coming over her that she couldn't explain. He knew that the woman deep within the asset was attempting to break through the surface.
"Do you know who this is?”
A picture was held in front of her, and all she could focus on was the man's eyes. The same one that was currently pinned down to the ground beneath her. The sadness that was in those eyes. An ache in her chest when she couldn't remember his name, but she knew him intimately.
“Now you know me.” He said softly. His eyes still never left hers. Even as her eyes flicked back to his, he couldn’t bring himself to move. “You can't place it, but you feel it.” He slowly brought his fleshed hand up to her wrist. He gauged her reaction as he did, but she didn't move to stop him. “That's what's stopping you.”
His fingers moved in a pattern against her skin that his mind had once created one night while spending time with her. The very pattern he continued to do any time he was feeling overwhelmed in any way. His signal to her he needed an out from wherever they were at.
Bucky watched as she didn't flinch away from his touch. It was as if she was just watching his movements, taking in the familiarity of something unlocking within her brain. As she did, he noticed another shift in her eyes. He was getting through to her.
He just needed something else to help break through to her. To help give that final break through the wall. But a moment later he could hear the sound of someone speaking to her through her coms.
The shift in her eyes disappeared and she was twisting his hand away from hers as the blade of the knife pressed deeper into his skin. All she had to do was slice and it'd be over. Her mission would be complete.
“Ty zakonchil zdes’, Fantom.” You're done here, Phantom. The words had quickly left Bucky’s lips in one breath.
He watched as she paused once more. He knew her programming was working its way through her. Her mind was trying to take in what the word meant. The blade against his skin eased up slightly.
A part of her mind was screaming at her to stop and stand at attention to wait for the next command. That the punishment would be worse if she didn't obey. And for a brief moment her weight lifted off of him slightly. But the other part of her mind didn't register the command. In all the new conditioning she had over the last several months, that command didn't exist.
There was no new command to stop. There wasn't a punishment waiting for her if she didn't respond to the command given. The main goal that was embedded this time around: complete the mission.
When Bucky saw her grip tightened on the hilt, he knew it didn't work. He knew that whatever command he'd throw at her, there would be a possibility of it no longer working. He was out of options.
When the blade of the knife began sliding across his skin, Bucky grabbed a hold of her wrist with his vibranium hand, halting her movements and pulling her hand away. He adjusted himself to flip her back on to her back as she continued to fight to free herself from his hold.
With a hard hit of her knee, she had him flipped off of her and she rushed to stand. In the process, she pulled the hand gun strapped to her ankle out and aimed. Her finger pulled at the trigger easily.
Bucky barely had a moment to steady himself before he was blocking bullets with vibranium. He moved closer to her with each pull of the trigger. Counting each until he knew for sure the clip would be empty. Before the final count, he noticed that she stopped.
If he hadn't looked up at her eyes, he would have missed the way her eyes suddenly flashed red before returning to their normal color. He watched as the gun dropped to her side as something changed within her. Fear filled her eyes where there was emptiness moments ago.
He watched as her eyes flicked to him before her eyes welled up, causing a tear to fall down her cheek. He could see that the wall he was trying to break through earlier had finally broken. In the next moment, Bucky was taking a few steps closer as she fainted forward. He caught her easily, pulling her up into his arms.
“Thank you.” Bucky said as he looked over at Wanda the moment he had a hold of Y/N.
It was easy enough for Wanda to work her way up behind Y/N. Her target had been keeping her busy and it had been easy for Wanda to give a small hand wave and Y/N was sent into the spell.
Bucky gently brought her over to a padded bench against the wall and laid her down. His fleshed hand gently pulled down the fabric away from her face. It was a way to free her from Phantom. To separate the two entities as best as he could for her.  It wasn't long after that he was pulling the coms out of her ear and crushing it within vibranium.
“I came as fast as I could.” Wanda said as she moved closer. “Though if I had come sooner you wouldn't have been shot.” She pointed towards Bucky’s right arm.
Bucky looked down at his arm. His shirt had blood seeping through the fabric. He had been so focused on Y/N that his mind didn't register the fresh wound. From the looks of things, the bullet had grazed him.
“It's superficial. I'll be fine.” He nodded.
“And your neck?” She asked as her eyes began scanning for any possible threat.
“Occupational hazard.” He shrugged slightly as he brushed his fingers along Y/N’s cheek. “I almost got through to her. But she got pulled back in.” He looked over to Wanda. “What did you make her see?”
“Exactly what you might think I showed her.” She began. “Though what she is actually seeing, I'm not sure.”
Bucky knew Wanda meant fears. He saw the look on Y/N's face before she passed out. He knew that if anything fear would be the thing to break through to her. That maybe once she'd wake up, the mind block would be gone.
Bucky, what's your status?
Steve's voice came over the coms. Bucky ’s hand went up to his coms as he looked over at Wanda. “We're clear. She's secured. “
The words almost made him cringe. He should have said she was safe. He should have said things were cleared there. He could have said a million other things, but out of habit he said what he did.
Perimeter is clear. We're working our way in. Sam's voice came over the coms next. Stark got FRIDAY back up.
The East Wing is cleared. Natasha added.
Conversations continued through the coms but Bucky was barely listening. His attention was still on Y/N and he was sure it would stay that way for quite some time.
She may have been unconscious but he could see the movement beneath her eyelids. He wondered what fears she was living through at that moment. What details she was reliving or what story her mind formed as the worst thing she could ever face.
“The med bay may be more comfortable for her.” Wanda offered. The three of them were still in the walkway. Wanda knew that once the team had full control of the compound, a lot of people were going to be making their way through that walkway.
“It can't be the med bay.” Bucky shook his head slightly before he moved to lift her up into his arms.  The possibility of Y/N waking up in the med bay and taking it out on the medical staff wasn't something they needed. She wouldn't know where she was let alone what they could possibly be doing to her. “I'll get her set up in one of the spare rooms for now. She'll need space.”
As he began walking towards the living quarters, he felt the shift in her body. The tension she had from the spell began to ease up. Relaxing into his hold a little more with each passing second.
“You're safe.” He promised her. “I'm never going to let you out of my sight.”
If he hadn't been holding her as he was, Bucky was sure he would have missed it. It had been soft as if she was sighing. And part of him deeply hoped he hadn't been just hearing things.

You were having the time of your life.
It was not your first time visiting Disney California Adventure nor Disneyland, but the excitement you felt was still as intense as the first time. Perhaps it was because there were huge gaps between your visits. Or because there was really just something in the Disney air that never failed to make you giddy.
Whatever the case was, you always looked forward to your Disney trips. And this was no different.
Since your visits were far apart, there was always something new in the parks whenever you visit again. Regardless of your attachment to the media that inspired the new attractions, you were always excited to explore the new additions.
For this visit in particular, you were extra hyped. Not only was there a new land of attractions, the area in question was also inspired by a media that you were very familiar with.
Avengers Campus.
You wouldn’t call yourself a Marvel fan — nor a Marvel Cinematic Universe fanatic. If anything, you were just someone who watched enough of their releases to develop attachments to their characters.
Most people head straight to Radiator Springs Racers once the rope dropped. But you? You were dead-set on spending your early hours exploring Avengers Campus. So you did.
Two rides in, your feet brought you back in front of the Avengers Headquarters.
And there, right in front of the Avengers’ logo on the wall, was Iron Man — taking photos with visitors.
Frankly, you had no plans on paying Disney photographers to take your photos. For one, you didn’t research how much their services were. Second, you figured you would succumb to capitalism in other ways (read: churros and Dole whip), so it’d be best if you’d only spend your money there.
Yet, still, you found yourself lining up to take photos with Iron Man.
The line wasn’t terribly long, but you knew it’d be a thirty-minute wait at least. After all, it wasn’t just a photo-op — it was also a quick meet-and-greet. Thankfully, you were in no rush, so you didn’t mind the wait.
You let your mind wander to pass time. You observed different people interact with Iron Man as their turn came and passed. You scrolled through your phone, switching applications mindlessly.
Amidst your thoughts about which continuity Disneyland’s Iron Man existed in, you caught the cast member beside you talking to another guest. "—Mr. Stark has a meeting to attend to soon, but he’d be back after."
It didn’t take you that long to piece what that in-character response must’ve meant, especially if the other guest walked away upon hearing them.
"Excuse me," you turned the cast member’s attention toward you, "can you hold my place for a second?" As an afterthought, you quickly added: "I’ll be back. I promise."
You jogged after the other guest before you could change your mind.
Really, there was absolutely no need for you to do this. As you heard the cast member say, there would be other opportunities to meet Iron Man throughout the day.
Yet, somehow, you felt strongly compelled to. Like you were supposed to.
"Excuse me," you called your fellow guest’s attention. You flashed him a small smile, "Hi."
"Hello," he greeted back after halting to hear you out. He reciprocated your gesture with one that almost blinded you, "Can I help you?"
"Are you still interested in taking a picture with Iron Man?"
"I am," he affirmed.
"Do you wanna take it with me?" You blurted out your objective for coming to him, before he could say anything else. "I mean," you backtracked as soon as you processed how strange you must’ve sounded, "I saw some people take group photos and then solo ones; so you’re up for it, we can split the cost or something."
Frankly, you didn’t exactly thought this whole thing through. You were operating on impulse. You were going with the flow — even if you weren’t exactly sure where it was leading you to.
"That’s actually not a bad idea." You didn’t even know where that proposition came from. It just spilled out your mouth without going through your brain first. Nevertheless, it seemed to have done its job. "I’d actually take you up on that, if you don’t mind."
You smiled wider, "Great!" You turned back and started leading him to where you came. "I’m [first name], by the way."
"Nice to meet you, [first name]. I’m Chan."
You and Chan waited out the rest of the line chatting. You conversed about the most trivial things — from the other attractions you were planning on visiting to your theories on how Disneyland’s Iron Man’s voice actually sounded similar to Robert Downey, Jr.’s. You even talked about how you spent the earlier part of the morning. And what you thought of what Marvel did to their cinematic characters.
By the end, when everything had been said and done, you and Chan parted ways with a way to keep in touch and a picture of each other saved in your respective camera rolls.
Albeit you were initially reluctant to succumb to another bait of capitalism, you didn’t mind the price you paid for the set of photos that included a cute candid of you and Chan with Iron Man.
(Years later, when your fates have entwined more permanently, you saw that same picture framed in Chan’s apartment. “It’s my favorite,” he told you after claiming your waist in a back hug.)

Pocket MCU - Iron Man 1/?
In Which Pocket and Tony Have a Video Call.
Word Count: 979
Scene In-Movie @ 10:30
So, I decided to re-watch Iron Man tonight, and I started thinking about how Pocket would fit into existing MCU narratives. So, here's a little bonus, taking place during the first Iron Man movie. This might turn into something, it might not. For now, just a little fun thing I did, mostly so I could write more Pocket/Tony (even though she hasn't been given the nickname 'Pocket' yet). Enjoy!
“Only you would fuck a girl who called you a war profiteer,” you told Tony over the video call from your office in New York. “She still upstairs?”
“Miss Potts should be taking care of her right now,” Tony said as he fiddled with the engine of his 1932 Ford Flathead Roadster in his Malibu garage.
“How’s that working out, anyway?” you asked, your interest piqued. “She’s lasted loads longer than any of your other personal assistants.”
“She’s good,” Tony said, taking a piece of the car’s engine out and putting it aside. “Very efficient.”
“I like her,” you told him. “I think she’s been good for you.”
“Yeah, well, I wouldn’t need her if you just moved out here permanently,” he told you.
“And just leave the New York office to Obadiah Stane? I don’t think so,” you said.
“I don’t know why you hate him so much, Kiddo,” Tony said, turning his focus away from the car and fully onto you.
“He’s the one who hates me,” you clarified. “I’m just matching his energy.”
“I think you’re reading too much into it. He’s a little wary of you, that’s all.”
“He hates that you nominated me for Chief Technical Officer,” you said. “He officially opposed the nomination in front of the board.”
Tony frowned. “When the fuck did that happen? Why wasn’t I informed of it?”
You rolled your eyes. “Maybe if you spent a little less time shooting craps and fucking Vanity Fair reporters, and actually attended a board meeting every once in a while,” you said.
“I’ll talk to him,” Tony assured you.
“No, don’t,” you protested. “It’s bad enough he thinks I’m just another one of your fangirls. The last thing I need is for you to make a demand on him for my sake.”
“Well, what do you want me to do?” he asked you. “This job is yours– it should be yours. You’ve earned it.”
You sighed. “And I appreciate you saying that. Thing is, I’m not going to prove that by having you tell people. Only way it’s going to happen is if they see what I’m capable of, and if I leave New York for Malibu, they never will.”
“Did I ever tell you you’re very annoying when you make a valid point that goes against what I want?” Tony asked you.
“Frequently. All the time. Why do you think I enjoy doing it so much?”
“You know, I think I liked you better when you were just a stripper,” he said.
You stuck your tongue out at him through the video feed. “Yeah, well, whose fault is it that I’m not anymore?”
“You could always join my flight crew, if you ever wanted back on the pole,” he teased.
“Please,” you scoffed at the suggestion. “You call them dancers? They should be ashamed of themselves.”
“Hey now, what they lack in rhythm, they make up for in other… areas,” Tony smirked.
“Do you ever get tired of being a giant slut?” you asked affectionately.
“Not yet, but if I do, you’ll be the first to know.”
“Maybe second,” you told him.
“Whaddaya mean?”
“I don’t know– maybe you should tell Miss Potts first,” you grinned. You looked behind him to see the woman in question coming down the stairs through the glass door behind him. “Speaking of which, it’s her birthday today, so be nice.”
Tony’s eyes widened. “How the hell do you know that?” he asked you.
“I pay fucking attention, dumbass,” you said.
Pepper Potts entered the basement, talking on the phone. “You are supposed to be halfway around the world right now,” she said to Tony as she tapped something on her tablet.
“Hey, Pepper,” you called.
“(Y/N), hi,” the other woman said. “How’s the nomination going?”
You shrugged. “Oh, you know, just roadblocks from the patriarchy. No big deal.”
Pepper nodded understandingly at that.
“How’d she take it?” Tony asked Pepper, interrupting your conversation.
“Like a champ,” Pepper offered.
“Which translates to ‘like an obnoxious bitch,” you chuckled. Pepper winked at you over Tony’s shoulder. “You owe her a raise, Boss,” you told Tony.
“You give a raise,” Tony said. He directed his next words to Pepper: “Why are you trying to hustle me out of here?”
“Your flight was scheduled to leave an hour and a half ago,” she told him.
“That’s funny,” Tony said as he continued to play with the engine of the Roadster. “I thought with it being my plane and all, that it would just wait for me to get there.”
“This is the flight to Afghanistan?” you asked, and Pepper nodded at you.
“I mean,” Tony spoke over you, “doesn’t it defeat the whole purpose of having your own plane if it departs before you arrive?”
“Ignore him, Pepper,” you said, turning to face your computer monitor. “Tony, if you don’t get your ass to the airport right now, I’m going to hack into JARVIS’s system right now and swap all your playlists from metal to nineties bubblegum pop.”
“You wouldn’t.” Tony said, standing up and wiping his hands on a towel.
“Don’t test me, Boss,” you threatened. “This is a huge-ass contract.”
Inside Tony’s garage, the opening notes of Hanson’s MMMBop began to play.
“Fine, enough! You win, you tiny monster!’ Tony grunted, throwing his towel down.
You immediately cut the music. “Get on that plane,” you warned him. “I’ll know if you don’t.” You gave him a Look. “And Pepper, tell him to stop pulling your pigtails, okay?”
Pepper blushed, but she just nodded.
“Give Rhodey a hug for me,” you told Tony, “and let me know when you land, you absolute dipshit.” You disconnected the call.
“You know,” said Tony, turning back to Pepper, “sometimes I regret ever meeting that kid.”
Pepper smiled. “No, you don’t.”
Tony grinned at her. “No, no I don’t. Not even for a second. Now, about that Jackson Pollock painting…”
