It’s my headcanon that every time Louis commissions a portrait of his brother, Monsieur immediately gifts it to the Chevalier. So have one of the Chevalier de Lorraine’s favorite portraits of Philippe d’orleans eating macarons at the fountains at the Château de Saint-Cloud.
