Alright my dudes. I think we’re still in this game for one final round. Anyway here’s wonderwall. And Part 1//Part 2//Part 3!

Percy had actually knowledge about the Greek myths. He didn’t waddle in blindly. Where did y’all even get that?

The new possible Irish myth saga will be PJO 3.0 aka Magnus Chase 2.0 aka The Kane Chronicles 1.2.

Riordan already got the names of gods of that possible saga wrong

How the fuck did Sally afford several private schools for Percy when they were poor as fuck? I guess Gabe had to have a some somewhat decent job but then again playing poker/being a gambler and stealing from your stepson ain’t a cute move

Hazel should’ve been Thanatos‘ kid. To break the classic 12 Olympian mold (yeah Hades/Pluto technically isn’t one but he’s still team major gods) and also to throw the damned Hitler/Pluto aesthetics away

Did any of the kids break their limps or get permanently disabled at some point? Or do they just... die (and mostly stay dead)? I forgot

Where can the kids at Camp Half-Blood actually sneak off to fuck? Percy is legit the only one to claim his own shit as his love bunker. The rest is just fucked I guess or has first hand traumatic pre-college experiences

Most of you don’t understand how movie production works but that’s okay. Just know that everything inside your head will never be realized and there will be drastic cuts and additions to the books (again)

The electronics not working thing doesn’t even make any goddamn sense? Hermes is the god of the Internet. Does this mean that demigods can use the web just fine but simply can’t call each other? This really came back to bite Riordan in the ass now did it? Wouldn’t it make more sense to use old means of communication once you’re trying to reach more important/godly people or electronics fail in an accute situation?

Turning everyone heteroflexible creates the image that you’re simply liking a character for the fact that they are LGBTQ and not the character itself, just saying. More representation sure, but that itself isn’t a personality trait and shouldn’t be the main focus of a character unless it’s really defining in the story line (Nico‘s arc partially for example)

Tbh, HOO should’ve been aged up mentor Percabeth protecting CHB, with the rest of the gang fucking up Greece with aged Reyna + Nico perhaps. I might post an outline on that AU someday (someone should remind me about that tho)

On one hand you have in depth discussions and people diving into the matter and talking about every nook and cranny and on the other hand people are more then just fine with stereotyping and deflecting. Whut. Okay

Regardless of the reception of the PJO movies, I’ll never forgive you people for letting Logan Lerman aka the OG white boy™ flop. Throw Tom “lipless but okay booty“ Holland and Timothée ”I missed a few meals“ Chalamet the fuck away!

Tbh a less romanticized version of the camps would’ve been more interesting. I’m still put off by CJ (and also the fact that CHB is a summer camp), but had there been more fights and actual deaths that had happened around the camps due to training, etc. you would’ve understood immediately why demigods dipped before the age of 18. The antithetical nature of sweet summer camp and people dying left and right would’ve been amplified

Did Reyna at some point in time even have the time to breath with all of the shit that went down? Her life is simply 24/7 stressful. I get that she wanted to bounce and no longer be in a tiring and demanding position but the hunters ain’t it sis

It’s okay to admit that fanon artwork or fanfics don’t deserve the webspace they are wasting. But phrase that probably in a nicer way

PJO Calypso wasn’t annoying. HOO & TOA Calypso on the other hand...

Not everyone needs to be a fanfic writer or an artist, a theorist or someone that analyzes everything phrase by phrase. As long as you’re in the fandom to enjoy works & discussions and remain on the saner side of the spectrum you’re good. You’re valid. Don’t forget that.

Not wanting to stay in a fandom and merely enjoying some of the fruits/benefits as in art/fics/headcanons is also super valid

a few months later...

it was dark, so dark that you couldn’t see the front of your hand even if you tried. you tried to move, but it was no use, rope clinging to your skin as it was wounded around the wooden chair tightly. you felt your heart drop, panic settling in as you let out a scream, soon muffled by the duct tape on your mouth.

all of the sudden you were blinded by lights coming on, making you squint as you turned to the side. as soon as your eyes had adjusted, you noticed shadowy silhouettes standing by the lights. you tried moving again, the rope burning into your skin, causing you to flinch.

“well, would you look at that, boys,” the deep voice echoed throughout the empty warehouse,”we caught ourselves a y/l/n.”

a tall figured man stepped towards you, into the light. the bright beams casted upon him, letting his facial structure show. he was dressed in all black, a gun resting on his hip.

“don’t worry, sweetheart,” he said, coming close as he kneeled down in front of you,”i’ll make it painless.”

you let out muffled sounds, jerking your body in hopes of the rope coming loose, but it was no use. the man chuckled, reaching up to take the duct tape off your mouth. he ripped it off, causing you to wince slightly.

“who the fuck are you, and what do you want?” you spat angirly, hoping to not let the panic show. he chuckled again, the sound sending chills down your spine. you were terrified, but you would dare to show it.

“you don’t remember?” he asked, a cold hearted chuckle leaving his lips right after. you stayed silent, the man taking your silence as an answer.

“well then, let’s consider this our official reunion,” he smiled, his coffee stained teeth showing,”it’s a shame that your own niece would forget about you so easily.”

you jolted awake, gasping deeply as you shot up. you quickly looked around the room, taking in the surroundings as you realized it was your bedroom. you took a deep breath, hoping to relax. you looked over at the clock on the nightstand, the red lights blinking 2:15 a.m.

you sighed, falling back onto the pillows as you ran your hands over your face. your heart was still pounding against your chest, needing a while to calm down.

after laying for a couple minutes, you kicked the covers to the end of the bed, deciding on going downstairs into the kitchen for a glass of water before trying to go back to sleep. you made your way to the door, opening it softly before closing it the same way behind you.

your bare feet padded against the cold tile in the hallway, making you wish you had slipped on a pair of socks before walking out. you heard the sound of the tv from downstairs echoing through the house when you got to the top of the stairs, the light reflecting off the walls. you took the steps one at a time, finally reaching the bottom as you made your way into the living room. you spotted a cluster of messy, chocolate brown hair on the couch, making you smile softly to yourself.

“can’t sleep?” you asked, making him pull his attention away from the movie playing in front of him, to you.

“yeah,” he said,”you?”

you sighed, taking a seat at the other end of the couch,”had a really weird nightmare.”

tom’s eyebrows rose before he grabbed the small, black remote from the armrest of the couch, pressing pause as the frame of the movie came to a halt on the wide screen in front of the both of you.

“wanna talk about it?” he asked, patting the spot next to him. you decided to take him up on his offer, scooting closer to the boy before he draped the warm blanket over you as well, turning so he could look at you properly.

“i was in this abandoned warehouse, it was dark, cold, and i was tied up tightly against a wooden chair,” you started, tom’s eyes staying on your face, listening closely to what you were telling him,”and then out of nowhere, these bright lights turned on and all of these men were standing in front of them. one of them started talking to me, asking if i remembered them and talking about how they ‘finally caught a y/l/n’ or something, then told me that he was my uncle.”

your voice cracked and tom reached out, grabbing your hand into his as you let a small tear slip down your soft cheek, wiping it away with the back of your hand,”i’m sorry.”

“don’t apologize,” he said,”i would be freaked out too, to be honest.”

“it’s just,” you shook your head,”my uncle died when i was nine, i don’t remember much about him, so what made me have a dream about him?”

tom shook his head, his voice soft and calming,”i have no idea, y/n.”

you bit down on your lower lip, more fresh tears falling from your eyes,”i just want all of this be over, tom. i can’t sleep at night, i can’t do anything without second guessing myself, and my anxiety hasn’t been this bad in years. i seriously just can’t deal with this anymore.”

he reached up to your cheeks, the soft skin of his thumb wiping away the fallen tears,”i know, and i’m sorry you even have to go through this. as long as you know you’re safe with me, no one is going to get to you as long as i’m here, okay?”

you nodded, looking over at him, his big, brown eyes meeting yours. he leaned forward, wrapping his arms around you and engulfing you in a warm, inviting hug. you breathed out, clinging onto him as you let tears roll down your cheeks.

“i’m sorry, tom.” you mumbled against his shirt. he shook his head, his hands moving to the small of your back as he stretched his legs out to the rest of the couch.

“stop apologizing, darling.”

he pulled you onto his chest, the two of you now laying down on the cream colored sofa. you rested between his legs, head resting against his chest. you could hear his heartbeat under your ear, calming down your nerves.

“hey, tom,” you said, looking up at him. he shifted, looking down at you as one of his hands played with the soft strands of your hair.

“hmm?” he hummed out.

“thank you.” you said, eyes meeting his. he nodded, sending you a soft smile as he pulled you a little closer.

“anything for you, love.”

So I went back-and-forth with myself for awhile if it was okay for me to do this in honor of 600 followers, and after a long debate, I have decided to host a writing challenge in honor of 500 & 600 followers! I was in a weird place when I hit 500 followers and never got to truly celebrate it and well, now we hit 600!! This is something I have been wanting to do for a long time and I am so excited for this! her heels clicked as she walked. the dress pants covering the tops of her professional black heels and her blouse neatly tucked in. her badge sat strapped to her hip, along with her gun.

she made her way to the glass door, knocking on it lightly before opening it,”you wanted to see me?”

she faced the head agent,”yes, i have a new mission for you that i think you’d be able to complete without even breaking a sweat.”

she laughed,”i don’t break a sweat because i’m great at what i do.”

he shifted his head side to side, mentally agreeing with her instead of saying it aloud considering it might boost her self esteem higher than it already was. but, she had a point. she was the best in all of this very building. she did what she did marvelously. she made it look easy.

he slid her the tan paper file, letting her look over it herself,”there’s been a recent problem having to do with money and a very successful business owner. we’ve been watching these guys for months, but it has seem to gotten worse.”

“so basically illegal weapons and drug cartels.”

“yes, and we’re afraid that they might take a very successful business man, like mr. lloyd, and force him to hand over all of his money. this has gotten to be more than just drug cartels and illegal weapons, y/l/n. they’re threatening and targeting the most successful business man in their country.”

she raised her eyebrows,”okay, but concern is that here it says i’m paired with a partner.”

“yes, in fact, here he his right now.”

she turned towards the glass door,”mr. holland, come in, come in.”

she looked at his figure. defined arms, brown curly hair, dark brown eyes. he looked more like a teenage heartthrob than a agent. his button up rolled up at the sleeves and tucked into his black trousers, his nice black dress shoes going with it.

“ms. y/l/n, i would like you to meet your new partner, mr. tom holland.”

she smiled, shaking his hand,”nice to meet you.”

he returned the smile,”nice to meet you as well.”

the english accent was thick.

they turned their attention back to the leader,”you two had been invited to an exclusive party, where everyone we’re looking for is going to be located. since you two are going undercover for this mission, i have your identities right here,” he said, sliding two folders towards the end of the desk, one at tom, the other at y/n,”you need to start pulling up old files on these guys, get a location on them, and then we’ll send you two in.”

“alright, thank you, sir.” y/n said, getting up. tom following her actions.

“get to work.”

the two agents stepped out of the office, tom following her back to her office where he would find his desk.

she opened the door,”this is our office. that is your desk over here, mine is over there. don’t touch my shit, and i won’t touch yours.”

he nodded,”alright.”

“i gotta ask,” she said,”whats the deal with you?”

he raised his eyebrows,”i’m sorry?”

“i don’t mean it in a bad way or anything,” she explained,”it’s just that you look like a teenage heartthrob more than you do an agent.”

“am i taking that as a compliment?”

she rolled her eyes,”take it how you want to, but it’s strange that i’ve never heard of you before.”

“well, you know, i am from london, darling.”

she cocked an eyebrow,”don’t ‘darling’ me, and all this shit.”

he laughed,”okay, fine.”

she took a seat in her chair,”thank you.”

“do you want me to start looking through old files? see what we can get on the drug cartels and illegal weapons dealers?”

“yeah, and mr. jacob lloyd, please.”

he nodded, leaving the office to go off and find the paperwork.

as she sat her desk, her fork poking at her salad, he walked back in. a large file box in his hands. she stood up, joining him around the white board that sat on the far side of the wall in their shared office.

he opened the lid,”so, i found almost everything on mr. lloyd, a couple files on the illegal weapon dealers, and i found about half of the drug cartel files.”

she nodded, looking through the papers,”my question is, how are all these people connected?”

“i don’t know, it confuses me just as much as it confuses you.”

“okay, well, i’m going to track anything with any of these names on these files, hopefully it’ll give us a hit.”

he nodded, agreeing with her plan.

“holland, need to grab anything from your apartment? we’ll be staying the night here in case we get a hit.” she said. he nodded.

“uh, yeah, let me grab my jacket.

she nodded and grabbed her keys, slipping on her coat afterwards. he grabbed his jacket off his chair and slid it on, he’d freeze in the new york streets without it. she walked out of the office, letting him close the door.

“are we the only ones left?” he asked. she nodded.

“welcome to the world of being an agent.”
