In the dim glow of the moonlight filtering through the curtains, the room felt suffocatingly silent, save for the occasional rustle of sheets as you shifted uncomfortably in bed. The weight of the nightmares pressed down upon you like a heavy blanket, suffusing the air with an almost palpable sense of dread.

You lay there, eyes wide open, staring blankly at the ceiling as your mind churned with memories of horrors past. Night after night, the same visions plagued your dreams, dragging you back into the depths of despair with a relentless grip that refused to let go. Flashes back to the wizarding war and your last year of school. The war had ended a little over a year ago now and your nightmares had been coming back.

And yet, amidst the darkness, there was a flicker of light – a beacon of hope that shone brightly in the form of Mattheo Riddle, the cocky, slightly short-tempered Slytherin boy who had captured your heart in ways you never thought possible.

He had been your rock through it all, ever since you started dating in your fourth year. He was a constant source of strength and solace in a world gone mad. And as you lay there, grappling with the demons that haunted your every waking moment, you couldn't help but wonder why you hadn't confided in him sooner.

"Why didn't you tell me the nightmares are back?" His voice shattered the silence like a thunderclap, pulling you from the depths of your reverie. He tightened his grip around your waist, his presence a comforting warmth against the chill of the night.

You turned to face him, your heart heavy with guilt and regret. "I... I didn't want to burden you," you admitted, your voice barely a whisper in the stillness of the room. "You have enough on your plate as it is."

Mattheo's expression softened, his eyes filled with a tenderness that took your breath away. "You know I never minded helping you with them," he said gently, reaching out to brush a stray lock of hair from your face. "Your pain is my pain, and your burdens are mine to bear."

Tears welled up in your eyes at his words, a floodgate of emotion threatening to overwhelm you. How had you been so blind to the depth of his love, so oblivious to the fact that he would move heaven and earth to ease your suffering?

"I'm sorry," you whispered, your voice thick with emotion. "I didn't mean to shut you out."

Mattheo pulled you into his arms then, holding you close as though afraid to let go. "You never have to apologize for being human," he murmured against your hair, his breath warm against your skin. "We'll face these nightmares together, just like we always have."

And in that moment, as you surrendered yourself to the safety of his embrace, you knew that no matter what horrors the night may bring, you would never have to face them alone. For in Mattheo Riddle, you had found a love that transcended even the darkest of dreams, a love that would light the way through even the bleakest of nights.

Mixed feelings! Glad it has an anime now and that ppl are enjoying it, because its really good!

I myself think its annoying when ppl are like "im gatekeeping x media bc its important to me 😡" so thats not how I feel on the other end. It has impacted lots of ppl so if it can get a bigger reach and impact more, thats good. ^_^

if i did not have the time or energy or resources to read it, I would've hated feeling alienated just bc it became a favorite media of mine after the anime came out

The words echoed in the silence, reverberating through the room with a weight you hadn't expected. You stared at him, your heart sinking with each syllable that fell from his lips. His eyes, usually warm and comforting, now held an indescribable sadness as he spoke those words.

"I'm sorry I can't love you the way you deserve."

Your mind raced, trying to comprehend the weight of his confession. It felt like the floor had fallen away beneath you, leaving you suspended in a void of disbelief and heartache.

"What do you mean?" Your voice trembled, a mix of confusion and hurt lacing your words. You couldn't fathom the thought of him not loving you in the way you had always believed.

He sighed, his gaze dropping to the floor as if unable to meet your eyes. "I care about you deeply, but… it's not the kind of love you deserve. I can't give you the love you need," he explained, his voice strained with the weight of his own emotions.

Tears welled up in your eyes, aching to spill over, but you fought to hold them back. The ache in your chest felt suffocating, a knot of emotions tightening with each passing second.

"Why?" The question slipped out, barely a whisper, but laden with a desperate plea for an explanation.

He hesitated, searching for the right words, but they seemed to elude him. "I wish I knew," he confessed, his voice filled with regret and an unspoken apology.

The weight of his words settled upon you, a realization slowly sinking in. You felt a hollow ache, a sense of loss that seemed too profound to comprehend. This wasn't how you'd envisioned your relationship with him—it was supposed to be filled with love and promise, not this agonizing goodbye.

"I'm sorry," he said again, his voice thick with emotion.

You swallowed hard, fighting back the tears threatening to spill over. "I understand," you whispered, though the pain in your heart made it hard to truly grasp the reasons behind his confession.

Rules and Fandoms

Hello, here is a hopefully very detailed list of what I write about, how and who... I guess. So if you want to request something why don't you read this post a little bit and it will be veeery easy to tell me what you want!

What exactly can I and want to write?

Why is the font so dramatic? Anyways, I don't have a wide knowledge when it comes to what people want and request so I'll just tell you what I know haha. If you may have any requests that do not fall into a category I listed here feel free to still ask me about it!

So, I am fine with any kind of genre but smut/nsfw. This might be updated in the future but for now it isn't. I however do not have a problem with scenarios that initiate those things such as make out sessions, flirting or loving dirty talk idk call it what you want.

I can write Y/N or ships in the specific fandom as long as I like the ship and actually see it happening. I won't write any age inapropriate ships or ships I don't like. Any story that doesn't involve a romantic scenerio and is just a cool story is of course very welcome too!

I write Y/N in female or gender neutral, preferably female.

I write scenarios, MLT, oneshots, reactions, imagines... what I don't usually do is make a whole book. Something that spreads over a lot of chapters. I can see two or three happening but nothing more really haha.

Who am I writing about and where are they from?

If you'd like to request a character in a fandom NOT listed here, no harm done in asking. I also might not list fandoms in which I only know one character so again no harm in asking!
