Did someone said on Tumblr that Ginny was more powerful than Harry? Like? Are they crazy?

Ginny is really talented and powerful on her own but saying she's more than Harry the guy who taught her and the rest of the DA dark arts and duels is really off on their minds.

Why Harry is more powerful and better at dueling

1 - at eleven, was described by his teachers as ‘bright’

2 - at the same age, according to the Sorting Hat: “Not a bad mind, either. There’s talent, oh my goodness, yes” and “You could be great, you know, it’s all here in your head”

3 - mastered the challenging Patronus Charm at thirteen and proceeded to teach it at fifteen resisted the Imperius Curse at fourteen and soon learned to throw it off completely, even when cast by the incredibly powerful Voldemort also at fourteen, learned to cast a powerful Accio Charm

5 - at fifteen, was training other students at the same age, under extreme stress, tested as 'exceeds expectations’ or 'outstanding’ in evein every subject that required actual magic (including the dreaded Potions) same age, cast a briefly effective Cruciatus Curse

6- at sixteen, became a star Potions student simply by following superior instructions

at seventeen, successfully cast the Imperius Curse on his first try, and used it repeatedly at the same age, cast a successful Cruciatus Curse

7 - at 17 became auror and later leader of that department in 2007

8 - Harry was possessed by Voldemort in full power and got rid of Voldemort

9 - survived and kick out of the 3 forbidden curses.

I like Ginny a lot and she's powerful but please people don't be fully blind when was proven in the books that Harry is more powerful.

When the argument is because of their signature spells it's nonsensical because we know how much Harry doesn't like to hurt or even the chance of getting people killed.

" because Harry is just expelliarmus" people read the wrong books.

notes: the way that I teared up reading love quotes to pick for this lol. anyway shoutout to anyone who can make you feel this way bc they deserve it

"I love you." The words rang in your ears and settled in the warmest, softest part of your body and soul. It was the feeling of riding rollercoasters and having your body anticipate the first drop but still be shocked by the thrill of it happening. It's only three words. The phrase had been spoken to you — around you— for 20 years, but hearing it with your body pressed against theirs meant something more. You'd read a million romances and watched thousands of hopeless pairings find their way to each other. You'd closed your eyes a hundred times and imagined a future with the 'perfect' someone. All of it was sweet and romantic, but this was better.

You'd fallen for others in the past, taken part in one-sided sob stories more times than you'd like to admit, and ached for love. You've run to catch falling stars and been willing to touch the sun's core for people other than them. That was infatuation, but this was love.

The feeling of being in love with them is unexplainable in words. It's closing your eyes when songs that remind you of them comes on, and then, you play a film of memories of them. It's watching a movie a hundred times before but getting excited for the big reveal because they've never gotten to experience it. It's the shivers you get when you step out of a warm house on a cold, dewy morning. Being in love with them is living the same way you have for 20 years, but now you cry at love songs because you relate to them. An anthology of experiences was the closest you could get; even then, something wasn't there.

Up close and in the warmth of home, the two of you are mundane and far from sappy rom-com couples and their grand gestures. It's being too lazy to make yourself food, so they make it for you. Your relationship is knowing they need time to themselves and giving them space, even though it makes you pout a little. It's 'have fun at work, honey' kisses, saving the last spoonful of ice cream, stealing glances at them when driving, and nagging them playfully. The best part is when you are against them, and when you look up to stare at them lovingly, they're already staring down at you.

Being in love with them was being in love with your best friend.

Random but you wanna know a character from Harry Potter Marauders era that I want to talk/write about more? Dorcas Meadows.

She was a slytherin who was friends with all of our favorite marauder era Deatheaters. Yet she joined the order instead. She watched her friends on the opposite of the war. Then Voldemorts followers killed Marlene McKinnon and her entire family. She was a Gryffindor and great friends with Lily Evans, James Potter, Sirius Black, the whole gang. But she was also really really close with Dorcas Meadows. Now some say friends and some say more. But we will never know. What we do know is Dorcas went after Voldemort herself, alone. She took down every death eater in her way, she was so deadly that she ended up face to face with Voldemort. Voldemort killed her by his own hand because no one else could. She was that powerful, hell even Voldemort didn’t do it alone. She was against him and a group of his best fighters. She left only Voldemort standing. And barely.
